The Peoria Riverfront Museum unveils a deeply moving new exhibit, “We Remember: Stories from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum,” opening September 5th to honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Featuring never-before-seen artifacts—including firefighter gear, steel from the towers, and survivor testimonies—it’s the first time items from the official 9/11 Memorial collection are displayed locally.
