- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Here comes the Mark Simone show on seven Honors.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Well, it's Monday, it's spring outside. An early spring has
- 0:13Speaker 3: shown up. Daylight saving Simon light out till about seven o'clock,
- 0:17Speaker 3: first day of daylight saving time. A spectacular sunset last night.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Lots to get to today. The war is in day ten.
- 0:25Speaker 3: How much is this costing us? We'll get to that.
- 0:28Speaker 3: We'll get to oil prices. We'll get to a terrorist
- 0:31Speaker 3: attack attempted here in New York City. We'll get to
- 0:35Speaker 3: a crazy mom, Donnie. We'll get to his even his
- 0:41Speaker 3: wife's awful, awful social media history, and a whole lot
- 0:46Speaker 3: more coming up. So it is day ten of the war.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Democrats have no idea how to attack Trump on this.
- 0:52Speaker 3: They don't know what to do. They keep trying to
- 0:55Speaker 3: go after him on this, and it's driving them crazy
- 0:59Speaker 3: on and just how to do that. So they're just
- 1:03Speaker 3: trying anything and everything. Yesterday was the Saturday was the
- 1:07Speaker 3: Dignified Transfer where they brought back the bodies of the
- 1:10Speaker 3: six who were killed in the Iranian War, and they
- 1:15Speaker 3: came back to Dover Air Force Base. The president there,
- 1:18Speaker 3: you remember, Joe Biden, was just awful at a dignified transfer,
- 1:22Speaker 3: looking at his watch, bored out of his mind, right
- 1:24Speaker 3: in front of the families of these fallen heroes. Right
- 1:28Speaker 3: in front of the families, he's looking at his watch
- 1:30Speaker 3: as if he wants to go. So they had to
- 1:32Speaker 3: go after President Trump somehow. They went after him for
- 1:34Speaker 3: wearing a hat. He's wearing a USA hat. And this
- 1:40Speaker 3: was the attack line for a day and a half.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It didn't stick. It's not working. How dare he wear
- 1:44Speaker 3: a campaign hat? Not a campaign hat. It's a hat
- 1:47Speaker 3: that says USA. It's not the red make America great,
- 1:51Speaker 3: It's a USA hat. And you hear that echo on there? Yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 3: what is that? I don't know what that is. I
- 2:00Speaker 3: don't know. I mean, yeah, somehow I'm echoing around let
- 2:03Speaker 3: me see. No, I think I don't know if it's
- 2:06Speaker 3: muting those speakers completely. I think it might be something
- 2:08Speaker 3: like that. So where was he's wearing the hat? But
- 2:13Speaker 3: if you check my Twitter, you'll see that half the
- 2:16Speaker 3: people there were wearing hats. The pall bearers were wearing hats.
- 2:19Speaker 3: There were military guys, but they're wearing berets. And behind
- 2:23Speaker 3: Trump you'll see a lot of people wearing hats. They're
- 2:25Speaker 3: military people, but there's no rule anywhere about take your
- 2:29Speaker 3: hat off. Otherwise the military people, the pall bearers, would
- 2:32Speaker 3: have removed their hats. So that attack didn't work. Now
- 2:35Speaker 3: they're going to try to go after Trump on the
- 2:37Speaker 3: cost of the war. Hey you hear that echoing. Yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 3: so this will be that you'll hear this for a
- 2:45Speaker 3: couple of days. This is money that could be spent
- 2:48Speaker 3: at home. War costs about a billion dollars a day,
- 2:51Speaker 3: where at day ten it's going to be about ten
- 2:53Speaker 3: billion dollars by the end of the day. That's half
- 2:56Speaker 3: of the Somali fraud in Minnesota. Government billions of dollars
- 3:01Speaker 3: all the time. And this is not wasted. This is
- 3:02Speaker 3: going to buy us a lot of peace and safety
- 3:06Speaker 3: in the coming years. Yeah, here, definitely need more. Yeah,
- 3:14Speaker 3: it's like it's like I'm at it sounds like WABC
- 3:19Speaker 3: in the sixties with the echo with the with the reverb.
- 3:22Speaker 3: So day ten of the war. But oil prices are up.
- 3:26Speaker 3: This is the other line of attack. You know, he said,
- 3:28Speaker 3: this is killing people. The oil prices with well oil
- 3:31Speaker 3: has hit one hundred dollars in some cases may be
- 3:34Speaker 3: going over one hundred dollars and that's not good. But
- 3:38Speaker 3: it's just a spike. We were talking about just a
- 3:40Speaker 3: couple of weeks of this, and all you got to
- 3:46Speaker 3: do is open the straits of her Moose, which will
- 3:48Speaker 3: happen pretty soon, probably in the next probably next week,
- 3:53Speaker 3: they'll get it open. The Iranians have threatened to go
- 3:56Speaker 3: after any oil tanker that tries to go through the
- 3:58Speaker 3: straits of her Moose and deliver oil. Well, I don't
- 4:01Speaker 3: know what they're going to go after him with. They
- 4:02Speaker 3: lost their navy. They could try it with some speedboats
- 4:07Speaker 3: with some rifles, but that's not going to do much.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Opening the straits of Hormouse, they can do it when
- 4:11Speaker 3: they want to do it. They'll have a US Navy
- 4:13Speaker 3: escort ships through there. The real problem is not so
- 4:16Speaker 3: much the danger, it's the insurance. It's really Lloyd's of
- 4:21Speaker 3: London that's holding us up. That's who insures most of
- 4:23Speaker 3: these tankers, and they just don't want to move a
- 4:26Speaker 3: tanker without any insurance. Now. Also over the weekend and
- 4:32Speaker 3: Israel targeted the airport, the main Iranian airport, took it
- 4:36Speaker 3: out completely. And he's listen, I'm not an expert on
- 4:41Speaker 3: this stuff. But when eventually you want to evacuate a
- 4:44Speaker 3: lot of people, you might need that airport. But they
- 4:45Speaker 3: know what they're doing, so they took out the airport.
- 4:48Speaker 3: They also took out the Islamic Revolutionary Guard headquarters. You know,
- 4:52Speaker 3: you got the Iranian Army, then you got the Revolutionary Guard.
- 4:56Speaker 3: These are the really evil ones. These are Revolutionary Guard
- 4:59Speaker 3: was created to be above the army. Their main job
- 5:03Speaker 3: is to protect the borders and protect the government from
- 5:07Speaker 3: the army in case anything happens. But the Revolutionary Guard
- 5:11Speaker 3: over the years became the central hub for all the violence,
- 5:15Speaker 3: the slaughter of protesters, the real ugly stuff. So they're
- 5:19Speaker 3: trying to take out as many of them as they can.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Now apparently there's a little friction between the US and Israel.
- 5:27Speaker 3: We're upset with Israel because they struck an Iranian oil
- 5:32Speaker 3: storage site, causing massive fireballs into the sky that cause
- 5:37Speaker 3: black rain water saturated with oil, cover rooftops, cover streets,
- 5:42Speaker 3: screw up the air quality. This could cause a lot
- 5:44Speaker 3: of illness and problems there. So there it goes. That's
- 5:54Speaker 3: a real hum there. So it was Israel that did
- 5:58Speaker 3: that bombing. Now apparently apparently the US is mad at Israel.
- 6:02Speaker 3: There's a little bit of a fight there, but they'll
- 6:04Speaker 3: get it straightened out. So let's get to mayor a
- 6:08Speaker 3: mom Donnie who was totally bungled, mishandled, completely screwed up.
- 6:14Speaker 3: What happened this weekend? There was an attempted terrorist attack
- 6:17Speaker 3: right outside Gracie Mansion just down the street. You had
- 6:22Speaker 3: a couple of nut job right wing types, a couple
- 6:25Speaker 3: of January sixth but real wacko fringe right wing nuts
- 6:32Speaker 3: who showed up and go to this mic. I can't
- 6:36Speaker 3: get it over here. But hang on a second. Let
- 6:42Speaker 3: me see. Hey, you know what if I talk over here,
- 6:45Speaker 3: I'm fine. I just moved this mic over here. Now
- 6:48Speaker 3: what could that be we're trying it with. There's all
- 6:50Speaker 3: kinds of engineers here in the control room. Let me
- 6:53Speaker 3: disconnect this speaker here and shut it off and see
- 6:56Speaker 3: if that has anything to do with it. Yeah, I
- 6:58Speaker 3: think that's part of the problem. Might hang on, Hang on,
- 7:01Speaker 3: we shut off this speaker. That's it. You see, that
- 7:05Speaker 3: fixed the problem. I just shut off the speakers here. Well,
- 7:08Speaker 3: you give me the thumbs up, But now you got
- 7:10Speaker 3: to figure out why if I opened the mic, wasn't
- 7:14Speaker 3: muting those speakers. That's where the problem is. When I
- 7:17Speaker 3: opened the mic, it didn't mute any of these speakers.
- 7:19Speaker 3: So if we can figure it, we'll figure the whole
- 7:23Speaker 3: thing out. So yeah, oil prices will spike up over
- 7:27Speaker 3: one hundred bucks, but it's just gonna be weeks and
- 7:29Speaker 3: they'll they'll h at some point, probably later in the week.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Next week, they'll have a tanker come through the straits
- 7:36Speaker 3: of her Mouse. It'll have a naval escort. And if
- 7:39Speaker 3: they can't get the insurance that Lloyd's of London has
- 7:41Speaker 3: canceled the insurance, the US government will provide the insurance.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Once a tanker moves through, and then another tanker comes through,
- 7:47Speaker 3: oil prices will immediately plunge. Stock market will come way
- 7:51Speaker 3: back up. Getting back to Mom, Donnie, So this Mom
- 7:54Speaker 3: Donnie again. You got crazy right way nutjobs, a couple
- 8:01Speaker 3: of them, and then you got these left wing wacko
- 8:05Speaker 3: But these were really terrorist types ISIS inspired terrorists with IEDs.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Remember those from Iraq, those bombs that were and they
- 8:14Speaker 3: used all sorts of chemicals that isis uses. This is
- 8:16Speaker 3: real ISIS train. Luckily, the heroes of the NYPD somehow
- 8:21Speaker 3: tackled these guys and stopped them. If those bombs had
- 8:25Speaker 3: gone off, you had seen some major, major, major, major
- 8:29Speaker 3: damage and death in that neighborhood. So they stopped them.
- 8:33Speaker 3: It's over. Now. Here's the problem. You got these horrible
- 8:37Speaker 3: isis terrorist types that were here. If it's if it
- 8:41Speaker 3: goes to Alvin Bragg, if you leave it up to Mom,
- 8:43Speaker 3: Donnie and Alvin Bragg, these guys will be released with
- 8:46Speaker 3: a desk appearance ticket. You know, as soon as Alvin
- 8:48Speaker 3: Bragg finds out they were anti Israel, anti Semitic terrorists,
- 8:53Speaker 3: you think he's gonna come down now. Now, the good
- 8:55Speaker 3: news is it looks like the Feds will take the case.
- 8:59Speaker 3: It looks like they'll be charged federally, which means it
- 9:02Speaker 3: goes to the US Attorney Southern District. That's Jay Clayton,
- 9:05Speaker 3: who's a great US attorney, And it looks like they'll
- 9:09Speaker 3: handle the case and then these guys will end up
- 9:11Speaker 3: in prison for a long long time. Police Commissioner Jessica Tish,
- 9:17Speaker 3: apparently it's a little friction here. She quickly held a
- 9:20Speaker 3: press commage. You gotta have a press compage. You gotta
- 9:22Speaker 3: explain to the public what's going on. Apparently mom Downe
- 9:25Speaker 3: not happy about that, so he held one today. But
- 9:28Speaker 3: this is the police commissioner.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Yesterday, a counter protester identified as a mere Ballat, an
- 9:35Speaker 4: eighteen year old man, lit and threw an ignited device
- 9:39Speaker 4: toward the protest area, landing in the crosswalk of East
- 9:44Speaker 4: eighty seventh Street and East End Avenue. Witnesses reported seeing
- 9:49Speaker 4: flames and smoke as it traveled through the air before
- 9:53Speaker 4: it struck a barrier and extinguished itself a few feet
- 9:57Speaker 4: from police officers. Yea then ran southbound on East End
- 10:02Speaker 4: Avenue toward eighty sixth Street and gets a second device
- 10:06Speaker 4: from a man tentatively id'd as Ibrahim Nick nineteen years old.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Mister Ballot lights the device and starts running with it.
- 10:17Speaker 4: He then drops the device on the west side of
- 10:20Speaker 4: East End Avenue between East eighty six and East eighty
- 10:23Speaker 4: seventh Streets. Officers immediately secured the area and they took
- 10:28Speaker 4: both men into custody.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Well, I don't know what the mayor was so upset about.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Pretty much the standard police commissioner press cormige. You got
- 10:37Speaker 3: a horrible incident like this, you got to tell the
- 10:38Speaker 3: public exactly what happened, and exactly what the status is
- 10:42Speaker 3: of everything. So that's what she's supposed to do. The
- 10:45Speaker 3: mayor did his own press conference today. You know, here's
- 10:49Speaker 3: the You got a lot of problems with this mayor.
- 10:51Speaker 3: But the other one is no experience at all, no experience.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Great campaigning, puts on the big smile, talks real fast
- 10:58Speaker 3: and sounds like he knows what he's talking about, but
- 11:00Speaker 3: when it comes to police work, when it comes to
- 11:02Speaker 3: running government, when it comes to actually managing anything, no
- 11:05Speaker 3: experience doesn't know what he's doing. A lot of flack
- 11:09Speaker 3: over his crazy wife. I think I can say crazy
- 11:11Speaker 3: now because if you saw on Twitter a posts about
- 11:15Speaker 3: the October seventh Holocaust that took place in Israel, the ugliest,
- 11:20Speaker 3: bloodiest attack, the most anti Semitic, vicious, vile attack on
- 11:25Speaker 3: October seventh, where people were raped, babies were killed, and slaught.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I mean pictures of that. Could you put a like
- 11:32Speaker 3: on that? Could you click like on a tweet like that? Well,
- 11:36Speaker 3: missus Mom Donnie apparently clicked like on a few of
- 11:39Speaker 3: those kind of things. In fact, they're finding more and
- 11:42Speaker 3: more of that. I mean, that's as sick as you
- 11:45Speaker 3: can get. There's nothing sicker than clicking like on October
- 11:49Speaker 3: seventh and the slaughter that took place. I mean it
- 11:52Speaker 3: was basically another Holocaust. It's like it's like Hitler posting
- 11:56Speaker 3: about the Holocaust and Auschwitz and you're clicking life on it.
- 12:00Speaker 3: I mean, that's basically what missus mom Donnie did. Horrible,
- 12:04Speaker 3: absolutely horrible. So he was asked about it.
- 12:08Speaker 5: I'd like to know what your reaction was to the
- 12:11Speaker 5: article in the Jewish Insider that was posted about your
- 12:14Speaker 5: wife's social media activity. And what I'm wondering is you know,
- 12:19Speaker 5: you're an elected official, she is not. Is it anybody's business?
- 12:24Speaker 3: And is it fair to question you about it?
- 12:29Speaker 6: You know, my wife is the love of my life,
- 12:31Speaker 6: and she's also a private person who has held no
- 12:35Speaker 6: formal position on my campaign or in my city hall. I, however,
- 12:39Speaker 6: was elected to represent all eight and a half million
- 12:41Speaker 6: people in the city, and I believe that it's my responsibility,
- 12:44Speaker 6: because of that role, to answer any questions about my
- 12:47Speaker 6: thoughts and my policies and my decisions.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Now, he always does that. He talks fast like that,
- 12:50Speaker 3: and he sounds like very blah blah blah. He knows meantime,
- 12:52Speaker 3: what was the answer? She had? No formal role in
- 12:55Speaker 3: the campaign. She doesn't work any What does that have
- 12:57Speaker 3: to do with anything? Your wife is clicking like on
- 13:00Speaker 3: the October seventh Holocaust. It's disgusting. May she may have
- 13:04Speaker 3: no role in the campaign, but she lives with you
- 13:06Speaker 3: and is talking into your ear all day and night.
- 13:09Speaker 3: You got to have an answer for this. You still
- 13:10Speaker 3: have to explain why she would like something like that,
- 13:13Speaker 3: What is it? And she has to come forward and
- 13:15Speaker 3: explain it.
- 13:16Speaker 6: My wife is the love of my life, and she's
- 13:18Speaker 6: also a private person who has held no formal position
- 13:22Speaker 6: on my campaign or in my city hall. I however,
- 13:26Speaker 6: was elected to represent all eight and a half million
- 13:28Speaker 6: people in the city, and I believe that it's my responsibility,
- 13:31Speaker 6: because of that role, to answer any questions about my
- 13:33Speaker 6: thoughts and my policies and my decisions.
- 13:35Speaker 3: So of course the first thought, well of his wife
- 13:37Speaker 3: feels like that, he must feel like that. Well, yeah,
- 13:39Speaker 3: remember let's go back to twenty twenty three when he's
- 13:43Speaker 3: in the street yelling that kind of stuff against Israel.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Who is right?
- 13:46Speaker 5: For?
- 13:50Speaker 3: Who is right?
- 13:51Speaker 4: At the end of the part.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Time, the support for the Israeli government is something that
- 13:57Speaker 1: has developed from the first moment that someone even thinks
- 14:00Speaker 1: about politics in this country. We have to combat it
- 14:04Speaker 1: at the same level.
- 14:05Speaker 5: It's not on all done, not on or done.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Not on or done.
- 14:17Speaker 3: That was the real Mom, Donnie, Mom Donnie a couple
- 14:20Speaker 3: of years ago, Mom Donnie today, Well my woice Jackal
- 14:25Speaker 3: and Hyde now and he was yelling there about Israel apartheid.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Whenever you hear Israel apartheid, that is the most antisemitic
- 14:33Speaker 3: trope you could ever hear. That's then you know you're
- 14:35Speaker 3: dealing with a real anti Semiti. It's bad, bad stuff.
- 14:40Speaker 7: Uh.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Anyway, we got a lot to get to we'll get
- 14:42Speaker 3: back to that. Oh, Michael Goodwin will be with us.
- 14:44Speaker 3: He's been a little under the weather lately. He missed
- 14:46Speaker 3: a few weeks, but Michael Goodwin is back. We'll talk
- 14:49Speaker 3: to him later this hour. We'll take some calls in
- 14:52Speaker 3: a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten

- 16:17Speaker 3: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Barbara Seaville,
- 16:21Speaker 3: New Jersey. Barbara. How you doing.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Hi, I'm doing fine. How are you doing?
- 16:27Speaker 3: Let me check?
- 16:27Speaker 2: This is very exciting. Let me it's my first call.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Uh, oh and I.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I listened to you all the time in the morning,
- 16:36Speaker 2: but it's the first time I called. Uh. You were
- 16:39Speaker 2: talking about the money that was being spent in the
- 16:42Speaker 2: for the war, and all I have to say is
- 16:45Speaker 2: it's money well spent. And how much money did they
- 16:48Speaker 2: spend on all these endless wars we had? What about
- 16:52Speaker 2: the money Obama gave to the Iranians and the money
- 16:55Speaker 2: uh that Biden gave and all the port that's always
- 16:58Speaker 2: in every damn bill, And they're worried about this. This
- 17:01Speaker 2: is something that had to be done because we would
- 17:05Speaker 2: be getting hit. It was just a matter of when
- 17:09Speaker 2: and not if.
- 17:11Speaker 3: There you go, Well, Barbara, you did very well for
- 17:13Speaker 3: your first call.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Thank you. I had something to say, come on, all.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Right, good job, thanks for calling. Yeah, it's a billion
- 17:21Speaker 3: dollars a day. This will be like a twenty five
- 17:24Speaker 3: day war something like that. Twenty five billion clean up Iran,
- 17:28Speaker 3: liberateor ran fix the Middle East by this one thing
- 17:32Speaker 3: that it's it's worth it. Hey, you know, it's like
- 17:34Speaker 3: a billion dollars a day. In the Ukraine, nobody said
- 17:37Speaker 3: a word. It's like year five. Nobody even mentions it.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Let's go to Chris in Manhattan. Chris, how you doing,
- 17:43Speaker 3: good morning, Welcome.
- 17:43Speaker 8: Good Thanks. Listen about Bihan and Omar, not that we're
- 17:46Speaker 8: talking about her, but as that investigation stopped, I read
- 17:51Speaker 8: that they even the.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Republicans it actually just started.
- 17:56Speaker 8: So there's still hope that they're going to get it,
- 17:59Speaker 8: find out what.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Really it's actually underway. There's no vote. You can't vote
- 18:02Speaker 3: on anything. It's a Justice Department investigation. Nobody gets there.
- 18:05Speaker 8: The Republicans aren't, aren't blocking.
- 18:08Speaker 3: You'll block whatever you want to block whatever you want.
- 18:10Speaker 3: It doesn't affect the investigation's done with the Justice Department. Okay, thanks,
- 18:15Speaker 3: there's no vote that would affect it. Let's go to
- 18:17Speaker 3: h Richard and Bay Shore. Richard, how you doing, Thank
- 18:21Speaker 3: you morning. Mark.
- 18:22Speaker 8: You know, the President's I did of ensuring the ships
- 18:24Speaker 8: transit into the war zone is great, but when taking
- 18:28Speaker 8: a step further and try.
- 18:29Speaker 3: To develop an American version of Lloyd's, well that we
- 18:33Speaker 3: have that, we have that. In fact, that's what the
- 18:35Speaker 3: President said he'll do. If if you can't get the
- 18:37Speaker 3: insurance companies come in, we'll it. We'll just insure them,
- 18:41Speaker 3: which is easy to do. We'll we'll insure the tankers
- 18:43Speaker 3: and then escort them through. But expect it to happen
- 18:45Speaker 3: later this week or next week. They'll start bringing tankers through,
- 18:48Speaker 3: and once the tankers start moving through with the oil,
- 18:51Speaker 3: you'll see prices coming right back down. Let's go to
- 18:54Speaker 3: Roberta in Queen's Roberta, how you.
- 18:56Speaker 8: Doing, hi, Mark? You know the demonstrates in front of
- 19:00Speaker 8: Grating mansion.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Why didn't they tend social workers instead of belief?
- 19:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right, that's right outside your house. Terrorists with bombs. Yes,
- 19:09Speaker 3: send a social worker to discuss it with him. So
- 19:12Speaker 3: good point. Thanks for calling mom. Donnie still talking about that. Hey,
- 19:17Speaker 3: I don't know if he knows. But the NYPD has
- 19:20Speaker 3: tried this experiment where if it's a domestic violence call,
- 19:23Speaker 3: you send in a social worker. They've tried this about
- 19:25Speaker 3: four times over the last thirty forty years. It never works.
- 19:29Speaker 3: It fails every time. In fact, the problem is a
- 19:33Speaker 3: lot of social workers get harmed, killed, murdered. There's no
- 19:36Speaker 3: social worker that wants to answer a domestic violence call.
- 19:39Speaker 3: To begin with. Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel,
- 19:42Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 19:44Speaker 8: Good morning, Mark. I'm just a simple question. For years,
- 19:48Speaker 8: we've been talking about drill, baby drill, and we have
- 19:51Speaker 8: our own domestic oil instead of having to deal with
- 19:54Speaker 8: all these tankers coming through the Middle East. Why can
- 19:57Speaker 8: we not just use our own oil or.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Oh we do. We have more oil than Saudi Arabia,
- 20:03Speaker 3: We have more oil than around. We have plenty of oil.
- 20:06Speaker 3: This whole price of oil spiking way up. This happens
- 20:11Speaker 3: Wall Street will panic. You saw it when the President
- 20:13Speaker 3: Trump started the terrace. I remember the market went down, just plunged,
- 20:17Speaker 3: just plunged. It was no reason for that, absolutely no
- 20:19Speaker 3: reason for that. And then a week later it came
- 20:21Speaker 3: back and not only came back, but went to record
- 20:24Speaker 3: highs and went to fifty thousand. Same thing here, stock
- 20:27Speaker 3: market panicked, and the oil companies panic, and they take
- 20:30Speaker 3: advantage of it for a couple of weeks, spike the
- 20:32Speaker 3: price up to one hundred dollars a barrel. There's actually
- 20:35Speaker 3: no reason for it. Right now, there's plenty of oil.
- 20:37Speaker 3: There's no shortage of oil. In fact, we have a
- 20:40Speaker 3: glut of oil as we speak. In fact, if you
- 20:43Speaker 3: want to bring some oil and we don't even have
- 20:44Speaker 3: any storage space left, oil is filling every storage space
- 20:49Speaker 3: right now. There's absolutely no reason to do all of this. Hey,
- 20:53Speaker 3: coming up, we'll Michael Goodwin will be with us in
- 20:56Speaker 3: a few moments. We've got a lot to get to. Hey,
- 20:58Speaker 3: Also remind me to get to the big arch McDonald's,
- 21:02Speaker 3: a big, huge, Well i'll tell you what I think.
- 21:04Speaker 3: We'll get to that coming up. Also, department stores are
- 21:07Speaker 3: closing like crazy all over the Tri state area. It's
- 21:11Speaker 3: getting really, really really bad. So that and a lot
- 21:14Speaker 3: more just ahead. And as I said, Michael Goodwin, he's
- 21:17Speaker 3: been under the weather for a few weeks, hasn't been
- 21:20Speaker 3: with us, but he's back doing well. And we'll talk
- 21:23Speaker 3: to Michael Goodwin next on seven ten, Word.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Into Everything, New York.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Mark Simone on seven.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Ten, wor R Well we us right now. The greatest
- 21:37Speaker 3: columnist in America, Michael Goodwin. You can read his column
- 21:41Speaker 3: every Sunday every Wednesday in the New York Post and
- 21:44Speaker 3: all his columns are up on the New York Post website.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Michael Goodwin, how you doing.
- 21:49Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, Thank you great to have.
- 21:51Speaker 3: You with us. Iran. You've written a couple of columns
- 21:54Speaker 3: now about Iran. Tell everybody how you feel about the
- 21:57Speaker 3: president's choice here to go to war.
- 22:00Speaker 7: Look I think it's obviously risky, but I believe it's
- 22:04Speaker 7: also necessary. Something had to be done about this regime
- 22:10Speaker 7: that was threatening America, of course threatening Israel. Threatening as
- 22:15Speaker 7: we can see now all the Arab countries that our
- 22:20Speaker 7: allies in the region are now being with iranium missiles
- 22:24Speaker 7: and rockets. This was the world's top trouble maker in
- 22:29Speaker 7: the sense of exporting the Islamic Revolution throughout the region
- 22:35Speaker 7: around the world, and they killed hundreds and hundreds of
- 22:38Speaker 7: Americans in the forty seven years that have been in power.
- 22:43Speaker 7: So look, this is obviously a difficult decision for a
- 22:47Speaker 7: president to make to go to war, and unfortunately there
- 22:52Speaker 7: are American casualties. But I think the question becomes is
- 22:58Speaker 7: it the right decision? Fundamentally, I believe it's not only right,
- 23:03Speaker 7: I believe there's a level of righteousness to it because
- 23:07Speaker 7: of the evil that this regime has done to the
- 23:11Speaker 7: world and of course to ninety million Iranians who are
- 23:16Speaker 7: now on the verbs of liberation.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah, did you ever think you see democrats out in
- 23:22Speaker 3: the street protesting against killing the Ayatola, a man who
- 23:28Speaker 3: kills protesters, they're actually protesting his death. Did you ever
- 23:31Speaker 3: think could see that.
- 23:32Speaker 7: Well, yeah, it's it's market's a continuation of what we
- 23:36Speaker 7: have seen since Trump came down that escalator in twenty fifteen.
- 23:43Speaker 7: Anything he's for, they are reflexively against, even when it
- 23:47Speaker 7: makes no sense, even when it goes against their own history.
- 23:52Speaker 7: But they are just warped by the fear that Donald
- 23:57Speaker 7: Trump will get something done that we're in back them
- 24:00Speaker 7: and their party, and so they have to oppose him
- 24:03Speaker 7: at every step.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it's pretty funny. So if he pulls this off
- 24:11Speaker 3: and Iran becomes a much better place, and that probably
- 24:15Speaker 3: will calm everything down in the Middle East, that would
- 24:18Speaker 3: stop Hesbala all that stuff.
- 24:21Speaker 7: Yeah, it's amazing, you know, Mike. I think another thing
- 24:25Speaker 7: that's come out of this is that Israel is emerging
- 24:30Speaker 7: as America's not only important regional ally, I think it's
- 24:36Speaker 7: become America's most important ally anywhere. You look at the
- 24:40Speaker 7: behavior of the so called great powers of Europe sitting
- 24:45Speaker 7: there complaining about this, critiquing it, opposing it. What are
- 24:51Speaker 7: they doing that they have lagged on the Russian invasion,
- 24:55Speaker 7: They had to be coaxed into paying more money. I mean,
- 25:00Speaker 7: they've all just surrendered to the woke culture and of
- 25:03Speaker 7: course they're all afraid of their domestic Muslim populations. If
- 25:09Speaker 7: you cannot be four square against the Uranium regime, what
- 25:13Speaker 7: could you? What are you waiting for? What will trip
- 25:17Speaker 7: you into action? I mean, it's really something breathtaking. So
- 25:21Speaker 7: I think Israel is now America's most important ally.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Yeah. Hey, Michael Goodwin, mom, Donnie's wife all sorts of
- 25:32Speaker 3: controversy now that we're twitter things about the October seventh
- 25:36Speaker 3: Holocaust pictures and she's clicking like on that. How will
- 25:41Speaker 3: how does he ever explain this?
- 25:44Speaker 7: Yeah? I think his answer basically that you know, she's
- 25:49Speaker 7: a private citizen, I think is not sufficient. I mean,
- 25:54Speaker 7: I think he has to answer for himself. Does he
- 25:58Speaker 7: feel that way? Does he agree with that? I think
- 26:01Speaker 7: that's the question that has to be put to him.
- 26:05Speaker 7: And now, of course, we have the other incident from
- 26:08Speaker 7: yesterday outside Gracie Mansion, and he has yet, to my understanding,
- 26:14Speaker 7: he has yet to condemn the people involved. He has
- 26:17Speaker 7: a blanket condemnation of violence. But this is not ordinary violence.
- 26:23Speaker 7: This is terrorism inspired violence.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Yeah. Now, luckily it looks like they're going to charge
- 26:28Speaker 3: him federally, so he'll go to the US attorney.
- 26:30Speaker 7: But right, we don't have to worry about Alvin Bragg.
- 26:34Speaker 7: But you're right, Mark, I think it does raise another question.
- 26:38Speaker 7: Where's Kathy Hoko on this right? Where where is the
- 26:43Speaker 7: other Democratic official? Where's Chuck Humor on this? Where where
- 26:48Speaker 7: are the people who are supposed to keep New York safe?
- 26:52Speaker 7: Meanwhile the Department of Homeland Security is closed because of
- 26:56Speaker 7: Democrats who go to the budget.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Yeah, Chuck Schumer for a long time. How the hell
- 27:03Speaker 3: did he ever end up like this where you think
- 27:05Speaker 3: he'd be the first one supporting Israel and taking out
- 27:08Speaker 3: the eye told. How did he get so screwed up?
- 27:11Speaker 7: Yeah? You know, Mike, there's an old say that sometimes
- 27:14Speaker 7: party asks too much, and I think Schumer has never
- 27:20Speaker 7: really said that. I think he's gone along with his
- 27:23Speaker 7: party no matter who is leading it or what it is.
- 27:27Speaker 7: He's afraid to stand up to the party. He'll stand
- 27:31Speaker 7: up to Donald Trump or call him names, He'll fret
- 27:34Speaker 7: the Supreme Court, but it will come to you know,
- 27:37Speaker 7: AOC or people like that. He quivers.
- 27:42Speaker 3: So that makes you an admire a guy like that,
- 27:44Speaker 3: like a Bruce Blakeman, a guy who's not afraid to
- 27:46Speaker 3: say just common sense, whatever the right thing is to do.
- 27:49Speaker 3: That's the position he'll take. And he's you think he's
- 27:53Speaker 3: got to do a good shot against Kathy Hockel.
- 27:56Speaker 7: And I think Mark, that people crave, you know, sort
- 28:01Speaker 7: of people who are politicians, who are honest and who
- 28:05Speaker 7: are not beholden to an id on oology. Most people
- 28:10Speaker 7: are common sense. They want their politicians to be. That's
- 28:15Speaker 7: why to me, the surprise of the last ten years
- 28:19Speaker 7: is John Fetterman. Right, He's the one Democrat in the
- 28:23Speaker 7: Senate who says sensible things, even to me if it
- 28:27Speaker 7: means agreeing with President Trump. But no other Democrat will
- 28:32Speaker 7: go where Fetterman goes.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Yeah, he's like the Bill Clinton of right now. This
- 28:36Speaker 3: is a similar win, right, Clinton emerged among all the
- 28:39Speaker 3: left wing wackos and led the party back to the center.
- 28:42Speaker 7: You think that, yes, exactly, No, I think that's a
- 28:45Speaker 7: good point.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, Michael Goodwin, great having you with us, And
- 28:49Speaker 3: you can read Michael Goodwin's column every Monday, I mean
- 28:51Speaker 3: every Sunday, every Sunday and every Wednesday in the New
- 28:55Speaker 3: York Post. Keep up the great work and we'll talk
- 28:57Speaker 3: to you next week.
- 28:58Speaker 7: Thank you, Mark.
- 29:00Speaker 3: All right, take care. Hey, we've got a lot coming
- 29:03Speaker 3: up in the next hour. Well, we'll get to Bruce
- 29:06Speaker 3: Blackman and Fetterman, and there aren't guys like that, common sense,
- 29:10Speaker 3: reasonable politicians out there. We'll get to department stores closing
- 29:15Speaker 3: all over the Tri State area, the biggest ones. Also,
- 29:18Speaker 3: we'll get back to the war, and a whole lot
- 29:21Speaker 3: more coming up in the next hour. So I have
- 29:23Speaker 3: the greatest polster in the world. What are the numbers,
- 29:26Speaker 3: What does it look like for the midterms, What does
- 29:27Speaker 3: it look like in the governor's race. We'll get to
- 29:29Speaker 3: all of that coming up. Hey, don't forget Buck and
- 29:31Speaker 3: Clay at noon today, get Buck Sexton's new book. It
- 29:34Speaker 3: just came out. It's already a bestseller. In fact, it's
- 29:37Speaker 3: on Amazon. But they'll be here at noon. Then you
- 29:39Speaker 3: got the most listened to radio show in America, Sean
- 29:43Speaker 3: Hannity three o'clock. He got Jesse Kelly at six, Jimmy
- 29:46Speaker 3: Fayla with a great show that's very funny every night
- 29:50Speaker 3: nine to midnight. Don't forget Curtis Leiwa is now co
- 29:53Speaker 3: hosting the morning show every morning six to ten. Here
- 29:56Speaker 3: on seven to ten WR.
- 29:59Speaker 6: He's got the the Whole City and your Radio Marximo
- 30:03Speaker 6: on sevent ten wo r.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Well, beautiful spring day to day, Spring is here early.
- 30:11Speaker 3: It's gonna be near seventy today, and it's gonna be
- 30:13Speaker 3: like that for a few days. That's you get rid
- 30:15Speaker 3: of the last of all of that snow. You know,
- 30:19Speaker 3: there are some you know, the left wing has gone
- 30:22Speaker 3: so far to the left, so crazy, so nuts. You
- 30:25Speaker 3: remember James Carville who worked for Clinton, Remember Mary Mattlin.
- 30:29Speaker 3: James Carville. This is how nuts they've got, even he
- 30:32Speaker 3: a Clinton guy. You know, Clinton was always the common sense,
- 30:35Speaker 3: middle road, the middle of the road, voice of reason,
- 30:37Speaker 3: kind of a Democrat. Listen to James Carville over the weekend.
- 30:41Speaker 3: He's always on YouTube, been always doing podcasts. But this
- 30:45Speaker 3: is this is the common sense then, Okay, listen to
- 30:48Speaker 3: how nuts he's got about Donald Trump. I got Trump
- 30:50Speaker 3: arrangement syndrome.
- 30:51Speaker 8: And you know what, I don't want to get rid
- 30:54Speaker 8: of it.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I don't want to get better.
- 30:56Speaker 8: I want to get worse. I want to hate ay more.
- 31:00Speaker 5: I quite a God in heaven, God rained the righteous rain.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Of Trump derangement syndrome.
- 31:07Speaker 7: Me plaite of me, Lord on your vessel on this earth.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Just going nuttier and nuttier. I could see some people
- 31:16Speaker 3: don't like Trump. I mean I've always liked him. I
- 31:18Speaker 3: mean I always got to kick out him. But knowing
- 31:20Speaker 3: him for millions of years before he even got into politics,
- 31:23Speaker 3: the same thing was going on there here in New
- 31:25Speaker 3: York and the business world and the social world. Half
- 31:28Speaker 3: the people loved him, and half the people just didn't
- 31:31Speaker 3: like him. They found him a borish, offensive whatever they
- 31:34Speaker 3: found him. But when he went into politics, it just
- 31:39Speaker 3: was the same thing times a billion. I mean, it's again,
- 31:43Speaker 3: if you don't like I mean, I look at Biden.
- 31:46Speaker 3: I don't like him. I don't like the type of
- 31:47Speaker 3: guy he is. I don't like the way he talks.
- 31:49Speaker 3: I don't like the way he walks. I don't like
- 31:51Speaker 3: he just don't like him irritating. But I can't imagine
- 31:55Speaker 3: getting riled up or mad about it. I can't imagine
- 31:58Speaker 3: typing away nasty things all night about him. I can't
- 32:02Speaker 3: imagine getting an rage about it. So what is it
- 32:06Speaker 3: about Trump that sets them off? Or maybe it's not him,
- 32:09Speaker 3: Maybe it's them. Maybe they're just children, just childish. It's
- 32:12Speaker 3: like a tantrum. It's like anyway, we'll talk more about
- 32:15Speaker 3: this in the next hour and a lot to get to.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Don't forget. I'm here every day ten to noon, or
- 32:21Speaker 3: you could listen any time you want. Just get the
- 32:23Speaker 3: podcast back right after the news on seven to ten
- 32:27Speaker 3: wo
