In 2021, she authored a memoir, 7000 Miles to Freedom to tell the world her story of survivorship. Naz was born in Tehran, Iran. At 23, she came to the United States as a refugee. Her journey has been filled with challenges that began at the tender age of 13 when she was arrested by the moral police in her city.
