- 0:01Speaker 1: In news that should come as a shock to nobody.
- 0:04Deutsche Bank has been smacked with one hundred and fifty
- 0:07million dollar penalty for their ties to Jeffrey Epstein. If
- 0:13you've been listening to this podcast for a while, then
- 0:15you know that I have been railing about the financial
- 0:19crimes in this case, and I believe that the financial
- 0:23crimes in this case will be the crimes that bring
- 0:26the enablers down. All of their finances are tied up.
- 0:31Everybody Jeffrey Epstein was sending money to, or receiving money
- 0:36from or anybody in the organization, well that is all
- 0:40dirty money. And if you receive that money, well you
- 0:44are now part of this conspiracy. And that is how
- 0:49these financial crimes are investigated, and that's how they're prosecuted.
- 0:55So at the end of the day, all of these
- 0:58enablers that were always taught talking about that were hangers on,
- 1:01you know, people that were receiving money from Epstein, you know,
- 1:04going to his parties, had business dealings with them, Not
- 1:08the ones that were engaging in the actual trafficking or
- 1:11the facilitating of the trafficking. But the enablers, the other
- 1:15tier I'm always talking about. Those are the people that
- 1:18seen this news today that Deutsche Bank got hit with
- 1:21one hundred and fifty million dollars slap and those are
- 1:24the people that are panicking because remember, when you follow
- 1:29the money, you usually end up at a politician, and
- 1:35that's what's happening here. It looks like you know, I've
- 1:37been talking about forensic accountants as well, and it certainly
- 1:40seems that there is something going on behind the scenes
- 1:43where they are starting to trace down these these these money,
- 1:49these transactions, where they where they came from, and where
- 1:52they went.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It is all a huge part of this.
- 1:55Speaker 1: And I know for a fact right now that all
- 1:58of these enablers that were in with Epstein, people like
- 2:01Jess Staley, Leon Black, Glenn Dubin, all of these people
- 2:09that were involved with him financially, are really really not
- 2:15having a good day today because this is a big deal.
- 2:18Speaker 2: This is a predicate to Rico, right, and.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I don't mean Rico as far as the child trafficking
- 2:25portion of this. I'm talking about financial Rico crimes. These
- 2:29are the crimes that they end up taking down all
- 2:31the mafioso on right. Oh, they'll charge them with murder
- 2:34and conspiracy to commit murder, but they usually end up
- 2:38nailing them on financial crimes. And that's what's going to
- 2:43happen to these enablers if this investigation is carried out
- 2:48the correct way. Now we all know that I'm skeptical
- 2:52of the federal government, and I am skeptical of the
- 2:55way they've conducted themselves from the very beginning. I will
- 2:58remain skeptical. But what I am seeing here, Like I
- 3:01said a few weeks ago before Maxwell was arrested, remember
- 3:04everybody else was talking about how Maxwell's not gonna get arrested,
- 3:08We're not gonna get justice. She's in Paris, she has
- 3:11extradition protection.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Blah blah blah blah. Negative. We are four months away
- 3:19from an election.
- 3:21Speaker 1: There is immense pressure on the SDNY to do the
- 3:25right thing in this case. And I'll tell you this
- 3:30much right now, everybody should be scared because we have
- 3:34no idea what the future holds in this country as
- 3:36far as elections go. Right, he could be a whole
- 3:39different ballgame in four months. But as of right now,
- 3:43I'm seeing signs that this investigation is actually coming to life,
- 3:47that this investigation is starting to follow the money. And
- 3:51when that occurs and the money is truly followed, you
- 3:55always end up in the office of some scumbag politics
- 4:01who was running some sort of scumbag scheme which inevitably
- 4:07is no good for anybody but them and their few friends.
- 4:13Today's article is from CNBC dot com and the headline
- 4:17is Deutsche Bank hit with one hundred and fifty million
- 4:19dollar penalty for relationship to sex offender pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
- 4:25This article was authored by Dan Mangen and Jim Forkin.
- 4:31New York state financial regulators said Tuesday that they have
- 4:35slapped deutsch Bank with one hundred and fifty million dollar
- 4:37penalty for significant compliance failures in the bank's dealings with
- 4:41the accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, a now dead investor,
- 4:46as well as with two client banks. Folks, this is
- 4:50this is such bad news for them, but such good
- 4:53news for the investigation and for the survivors legal teams.
- 4:58If you don't think that the survivors legal teams are
- 5:01digging into this and looking for every single angle to
- 5:05make sure that every single bit of punishment is dropped
- 5:10on the heads of these people, you are wrong. Now,
- 5:14I don't have any inside information about that right, Like,
- 5:16I don't talk to the lawyers or anything, but you
- 5:19would think by the way that they've conducted themselves throughout
- 5:21this whole entire ordeal, how they've had all of their
- 5:24ducks in a row, and how everything has been very targeted,
- 5:29that they're certainly keeping a very good eye on this
- 5:32and this kind of ruling most certainly will trickle into
- 5:38the actual criminal portion of this case. The New York
- 5:43State Department of Financial Services said that Deutsche Bank, which
- 5:46agreed to the payment under a consent order, felt a
- 5:50properly monitor account activity conducted on behalf of the registered
- 5:54sex offender, despite ample public information about mister Epstein's earlier
- 5:59criminal conduct. And now, remember previously I talked a lot
- 6:03about regulations, right, Title thirty one, I talked about SARS,
- 6:07I talked about a little bit about Title eighteen, and
- 6:10how all of these things are tools that are used
- 6:14by investigators for financial crimes. And it's obvious to anyone
- 6:19paying attention that Deutsche Bank was not hitting this guy
- 6:23with suspicious activity requests reports nowhere near at the pace
- 6:28they should have been. Now, there might have been one
- 6:30or two that were filed by regulators that might not
- 6:32have been in the know, like as a mistake or something.
- 6:35But we know that Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan weren't
- 6:39keeping things up to date in the fins in database.
- 6:41Speaker 2: We know that, and we know that they're right here.
- 6:44Speaker 1: They're being told that they were facilitating this, they were
- 6:47involved in this. And I don't think one hundred and
- 6:49fifty million, while it's a good slap in the mouth,
- 6:51I don't think it's good enough. Furthermore, I think that
- 6:55one hundred and fifty million should not go to the
- 6:57state of New York. That one hundred and fifty million
- 7:00should be put into the pool, the estate pool, and
- 7:02then the survivors should get that as well. The big
- 7:07settlement comes days after Epstein's alleged procureur co conspirator all
- 7:12around child molester sick broad Gilay Maxwell, was arrested on
- 7:16federal charges that accuse her of helping him get access
- 7:20to and groom underage.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Girls so he could sexually abuse them.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And this stuff doesn't happen in a vacuum, right, All
- 7:28of this stuff's coming out now because the assault is
- 7:30on and with Gilean Maxwell, the head of the snake
- 7:34being decapitated, you know that the push is coming, so
- 7:39we'll see this kind of thing start to happen more often,
- 7:41and probably at a quick clip. The news is fast
- 7:46and heavy right now at this case, and there is
- 7:48a lot of disinformation out there as well, so please
- 7:50be on the lookout for that kind of stuff, such
- 7:53nonsense as doctor Fauci's involved in this case. I mean,
- 7:57come on, really, So there is a lot of disinform
- 8:00right now. But when you're seeing this real tangent news
- 8:05come out, this news that's applicable to what is going
- 8:08on in this case, you just have to smile. If
- 8:11you've been following things, I know I have been very
- 8:15very hard on the federal government, super hard on them
- 8:18because it's filled with all sorts of snakes and disgusting people,
- 8:23right and when it comes to the Department of Justice,
- 8:27forget about it, they're a laughing stock.
- 8:30Speaker 2: But every now and then shit'll go right.
- 8:33Speaker 1: All I hope here is that we continue to see
- 8:36progress the way we're seeing lately. And if this is
- 8:39any indication this settlement, Gilaine being arrested, Brian Vickers going
- 8:44dark with his social media, then folks, there is a
- 8:48lot more coming. The question is how much and when
- 8:55the State said it was the first enforcement action by
- 8:58a regulator against financial institutions for dealing with Epstein. Now,
- 9:02remember Barclays and Jess Staley, who I have been all over,
- 9:06are also getting a good hard look right now, but
- 9:09by financial regulators in London, and with all of this
- 9:14stuff coming forward, now, all of the girls that were
- 9:16abused in London coming forward, it's going to put immense
- 9:19pressure on the regulators in England to also slap Barclays.
- 9:25And we got to make sure that JP Morgan doesn't
- 9:27escape this because Epstein was with JP Morgan for years
- 9:31and they facilitated so many of his financial transactions. The
- 9:38consent order covers deutsch Bank's relationship with Epstein and correspondent
- 9:42banking relationships with Dance Bank, Estonia and FBme Bank. Deutsche
- 9:50Bank maintained a relationship with Epstein as well as with
- 9:53related individuals and entities from August twenty thirteen until December
- 9:58of twenty eighteen. And remember twenty thirteen is when JP
- 10:02Morgan jettisoned him. I know it's a coincidence that Jeff
- 10:06Staley had happened to leave at that time, right that
- 10:08JP Morgan decided after Jess Staley, Epstein's top facilitator, left
- 10:13that I you know, we're gonna We're.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Gonna jetison him. We're not gonna work with him anymore.
- 10:17Speaker 1: As if that's gonna save everything, as if that's going
- 10:19to make you look better. We're on to you. We
- 10:22know the deal, and we're not going to let you
- 10:25get off. These disgusting ass financial institutions all got off
- 10:29after the financial meltdown.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Nobody went to jail.
- 10:32Speaker 1: None of these banksters were ever prosecuted, and they just
- 10:36went on with their nonsense. Well, now your chickens are
- 10:41coming home to roost as well. And all of these
- 10:43bankers that had financial ties to Jeffrey Epstein and who
- 10:46were dumping money into his accounts and helping him facilitate
- 10:49these transactions, every one of them should be smashed with
- 10:52Rico indictments. Bank maintained a relationship with Epstein, as well
- 11:02as with related individuals and entities, from August twenty and
- 11:05thirteen until December of twenty and eighteen, when the bank
- 11:09ended its dealings with him after The Miami Herald published
- 11:12a series of stories about a federal non prosecution deal
- 11:16that Epstein obtained in two thousand and eight in Florida,
- 11:19And that's such bullshit. Okay, look, Miami, Look, the Miami
- 11:24Herald did good work, there is no doubt. Right, they
- 11:26did good work bringing the story to the forefront. But
- 11:28for these institutions to say they had no idea what
- 11:31was going on until the Miami Herald broke this story,
- 11:34it is so ridiculous that they would think that any
- 11:37one of us would believe that. When Jeffrey Epstein was
- 11:41getting arrested the first time, it was a pretty big
- 11:43deal and a much bigger deal to these financial institutions
- 11:48that know that they had ties to him. They escaped
- 11:54the guillotine the first time around this time they are
- 11:58not going to be able to wiggle their way out
- 12:00because their lapdogs in the legacy media no longer control
- 12:07this narrative. Over time, Deutsche Bank handled more than forty
- 12:15accounts related to Epstein and related people and entities. The
- 12:19Financial Services Department said that because of the bank's oversight
- 12:22failure with Epstein, the bank processed hundreds of transactions totaling
- 12:27millions of dollars that at the very least should have
- 12:30prompted additional scrutiny in light of mister Epstein's history. So
- 12:34basically what they're saying is nobody filed any suspicious activity reports.
- 12:38The Finsen database was completely neglected, and Jeffrey Epstein was
- 12:42given free reign to launder and funnel money through Deutsche Bank.
- 12:51Those transactions include payments to people who were publicly alleged
- 12:55to have Epstein's co conspirators in sexually abusing young women
- 12:59and settlement totally more than seven million dollars and payments
- 13:02to law firms of more than six million dollars for
- 13:05what appeared to have been the legal expense of mister
- 13:08Epstein and his co conspirators. The Department said, well, isn't
- 13:12that nice? The transactions, the payments to people who were
- 13:16publicly alleged to have been part of the conspiracy, That
- 13:19is rico. Okay, what more do they need? These are
- 13:24all rico predicates. All of these people that received money
- 13:32from Jeffrey Epstein. I don't know how much more clear
- 13:34I need to be need to be smashed with RICO
- 13:37indictments yesterday. All of this money is connected, and it
- 13:41was all derived from ill gotten gains. Nobody knows where
- 13:44Epstein was making his money. He wasn't some mention in
- 13:46the stock market. Right, He's not the oracle of Omaha.
- 13:54So where did the money come from? We all know
- 13:58where it came from. We all know it all came
- 14:01from their criminal organization. And then that money was filtered
- 14:05through these banks, laundered, washed up and deposited in one
- 14:09of these front offshore businesses or one of these banks
- 14:12that Epstein opened up with the help of the regulators
- 14:15in places like the Virgin Islands. Rico, not Uncle Rico,
- 14:22by the way, from Napoleon Dynamite. I am talking the Rico.
- 14:27Can we get some police. Other payments were made to
- 14:31Russian models, payments for women's school tuition, hotel and rent expenses, and,
- 14:35consistent with public allegations of prior wrongdoing, payments directly to
- 14:40numerous women with Eastern European surnames according to the Department. Now,
- 14:45I hope that all of these Eastern European women that
- 14:48were abused by him have some sort of way to
- 14:52reach out and get involved in the compensation fund, because
- 14:56these are the no named women.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I'm always talking about. Whatever happened to these where did
- 15:00they go? How did their lives end up?
- 15:04Speaker 1: And now that there's a little a little light at
- 15:07the end of the tunnel for the survivors, and there's
- 15:10a couple of bucks come in their way. I think
- 15:12that these unnamed girls should should get a little peace
- 15:16right because what they went through I don't I can't
- 15:19even begin to try and understand. Imagine coming from one
- 15:24of these war torn Eastern European countries and you come
- 15:26to America and you think everything's going to be good,
- 15:29and you have this great opportunity to become a model
- 15:32and work with some of these agencies, and you have
- 15:34an agent now, and you're going to be able to
- 15:36send money back to your family. And then you get
- 15:39to America, the shining City on the hill, and you're
- 15:44put into a little apartment where you sleep on the floor,
- 15:47and if you don't go out and turn tricks for
- 15:49these guys, you don't get any money. And all of
- 15:52those dreams and all of those aspirations crushed under the
- 15:58heel of this sick discuss sting pervert Jeffrey Epstein and
- 16:02his pal Guilay Maxwell, and all of these European girls,
- 16:08the forgotten girls as I like to call them, should
- 16:11come forward and get themselves involved in this settlement process
- 16:15because they deserve it as well. All noted were Epstein's
- 16:20periodic suspicious cash withdrawals in total more than eighty eight
- 16:24hundred thousand dollars over approximately four years. The Department said,
- 16:30now all of those transactions should be marked down on
- 16:33a CTR A title thirty one CTR. Anything over ten
- 16:36thousand dollars and one cents must be must be reported,
- 16:43no if, ends or butts. I don't care how rich
- 16:45you are, I don't care how powerful you are. When
- 16:48you reach the threshold, that amount must be reported. And
- 16:52obviously all of these transactions went under the table. All
- 16:57of these transactions occurred in the months and years after
- 17:00August twenty thirteen, when, in preparation for Epstein's accounts being
- 17:04shifted to Deutsche Bank, a junior relationship coordinator on the
- 17:07Epstein account prepared a memorandum for a relationship manager at
- 17:11the bank to be sent to the bank's then cohad
- 17:14of the Wealth manage Wealth Management America's Group and the
- 17:18chiefs Operating officer of the Wealth Management America's unit to
- 17:22consent order notes. So all of those people who okay this,
- 17:27they're all in big trouble. Every one of these people
- 17:30need to be investigated. Do they have any personal ties
- 17:33to Epstein? Was Epstein funneling money to them on the side,
- 17:36were they catching any loot on the come up? If
- 17:39Epstein was steering business their direction, these are all questions
- 17:42that must be asked. That memo contained information about Epstein's
- 17:48prior state sex crime case in Florida, noting he was
- 17:51charged with soliciting an underage prostitute in two thousand and seven,
- 17:55and that he served thirteen months of his eighteen month sentence,
- 17:58and that Epstein was accused of paying young women for
- 18:01massages in his Florida home. The consent order said. It
- 18:05also highlights that mister Epstein was involved in seventeen out
- 18:08of court civil settlements related to his conduct in the
- 18:11two thousand and seven conviction, the consent order said of
- 18:14the memo. In an email to the two bank executives
- 18:17who included the memorandum as an attachment, the relationship manager
- 18:21noted how lucrative the relationship could be, stating estimated flows
- 18:26of one hundred to three hundred million over time, possibly more,
- 18:29with revenue of two to four million annually over time.
- 18:32The consent order said, again, it's all about money for
- 18:35these people. These sick bastards, these banking institutions, these banksters,
- 18:39they don't care about people, They don't care about human beings.
- 18:42They certainly don't care about survivors. So if anybody is
- 18:46shocked that these banksters would be involved with this sort
- 18:49of shit, well, I'm sorry that the red pill had
- 18:52to be so rough for you, because we are surrounded
- 18:56by evil, evil people folks.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Everywhere we turn.
- 19:01Speaker 1: In the same email, the bank's relationship manager proposed that
- 19:05all Epstein related accounts be for entities affiliated with mister Epstein,
- 19:10not personal accounts, the consent order noted. The order noted
- 19:14that banks are required to have anti money laundering controls
- 19:17in place, and that they also required to monitor their
- 19:20customers to prevent them from facilitating criminal activity. They did
- 19:25none of that. The oversight when it comes to these
- 19:27personal banking divisions is lacks, basically non existent, because what's
- 19:33going on is everybody's a bazillion trillionaire and they're all
- 19:36wheeling and dealing, and these managers who are in control
- 19:39of these accounts, like Jess Staley, all they care about
- 19:43is stacking another couple of million in their bankroll. They
- 19:46don't care about being morally correct. They don't care about
- 19:50being compassionate to survivors or to the people that Epstein abuse.
- 19:54No way, It's all about those dollars. State Financial servi
- 20:00As Superintendent Linda Lacewell said in a prepared statement that
- 20:04in each of the cases that are being resolved today,
- 20:06Deutsche Bank failed to adequately monitor the activity of customers
- 20:11that the bank itself deemed to be high risk. In
- 20:13the case of Jeffrey Epstein, in particular, despite knowing mister
- 20:17Epstein's terrible criminal history, the bank's inexcusable failed to detect,
- 20:22inexcusably failed to detect or prevent millions of dollars of
- 20:26suspicious transactions. Lacewell said, this is one hundred and fifty
- 20:30million is not enough. They got to be slapped with
- 20:32much more stringent penalties. The State Financial Services Department said
- 20:39it concluded that Deutsche Bank failed to monitor the activities
- 20:42of their bank clients dance Estonia and FBMY with respect
- 20:47to their correspondent and dollar clearing business. Dollar clearing business
- 20:51huh hmm, sounds like codeword for washing money. The department
- 20:57noted that dance Kestonia is at the center of one
- 20:59of the the world's largest money laundering scandals and had
- 21:02control failures that led to large amounts of money being
- 21:05transferred on behalf of Russian oligarchs. Deutsche Bank is so
- 21:09wrapped up with so much dirty money from so many
- 21:13corners of the world that it's not even funny. We
- 21:17could do a whole entire day of podcasts on Deutsche
- 21:19Bank and their financial crimes. Over the course of the
- 21:24year's long relationship between Deutsche Bank and Dance Gastonia, Deutsche
- 21:28Bank was repeatedly put on notice of these failings and
- 21:32of the fact that few improvements were undertaken by dance Kestonia.
- 21:35The department said, despite the fact that deutsch Bank assigned
- 21:39Estonia its highest possible risk grating, Deutsche Bank failed to
- 21:42take appropriate action to prevent dance Kestonia from transferring billions
- 21:47of dollars of suspicious transactions through Deutsche Bank accounts in
- 21:51New York. Wow, this is so significant. This is such
- 21:57an absolute shit show. The regulator also said that Deutsche
- 22:04Bank's relationship with FBMY representatives of similar failure to act
- 22:09on red flags from a high risk client that required
- 22:13annual enhanced anti money laundering checks. There you go, folks,
- 22:19right there for you to see yourself. They're calling it
- 22:22what it is here. It's buried a little bit in
- 22:23the article, but it's a money laundering scheme. It is
- 22:27most certainly that despite these checks, there was little evidence
- 22:31that FBMEME improved the quality of its controls over several years,
- 22:36the Financial Services Department, said. Deutsche Bank CEO Christian Sewing,
- 22:41in an internal communication to all bank staff about the settlement, said,
- 22:45today serves as a reminder of how vigilant we must remain.
- 22:49Oh yeah, sure, now, let's remain vigilant. Nobody's buying it.
- 22:53Deutsche Bank is on the hook and you're not gonna
- 22:56wiggle off this time. And not only marks the anniverse
- 23:00of our compete to win strategy, but also our settlement
- 23:03just announced with the New York Department of Financial Services
- 23:06resolving investigations into our controls and processes in the fight
- 23:10against financial crime. Sewing said, oh boy, if you think
- 23:14that this is over, mister Suing, you are not paying attention.
- 23:18He noted that the settlements cover three issues, Dance Bank,
- 23:22the Federal Bank of the Middle East, and our former
- 23:24business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein onboarding the ladders at the
- 23:28latter as a client in twenty thirteen was a critical
- 23:32mistake and should never have happened. The CEO said, Hindsight's
- 23:35twenty twenty. My man, that's not good enough for me.
- 23:38I certainly will never do any business with your institution,
- 23:41nor will I do business with Barclays. In fact, I
- 23:45like to use local federal credit unions at this point,
- 23:47because every one of these banks is absolutely and utterly corrupt.
- 23:54A deutsch Bank spokesman said, we acknowledge our error of
- 23:57onboarding Epstein in twenty thirteen and the weaknesses in our processes,
- 24:02and have learned from our mistakes and shortcomings. The spokesman
- 24:06said that immediately after Epstein's arrest on child sex trafficking
- 24:09charges in July twenty nineteen, the bank contacted law enforcement
- 24:13and offered our full assistance with their investigation. Why did
- 24:17you even take them on as a client in twenty thirteen.
- 24:20You knew what he was, you knew what he did,
- 24:22and you took him on anyway. Nice try backtracking here,
- 24:26but we're not gonna let it slide. Questions must be
- 24:30asked and questions must be answered. We have been fully
- 24:36transparent and have addressed these matters with our regulator, adjusted
- 24:39our risk tolerance, and systematically tackled the issues. The spokesman said, Look,
- 24:46your internal investigations are garbage, Okay, point blank period. Nobody
- 24:51believes you're gonna stringently investigate yourself.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Epstein, sixty six, died last August in a federal jail
- 24:59in Manhattan. What authorities ruled was a suicide by hanging
- 25:03after being denied bell in his criminal case, where he
- 25:06was charged with child trafficking and conspiracy to commit child
- 25:10sex trafficking. The multi millionaire pedophile investor was a former
- 25:15friend of Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, as well
- 25:18as Britain's Prince Andrew. And that's just the beginning of it.
- 25:25With the friends, right, Jeffrey Epstein had quite the collection
- 25:31of friends, all the pictures on the walls, all the
- 25:34people he hung out with, the people on his plane,
- 25:37the people at his island, the people in New Mexico, etc.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Etc. He also was a registered sex.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Offender, pleaded guilty to Florida state charges in two thousand
- 25:50and eight, one of which was related to paying for
- 25:52sexual services from an underage girl. Epstein served thirteen months
- 25:56in jail in that case, a bit much of the
- 25:58time was free on work relief. Last week, Maxwell was
- 26:02arrested on federal charges while hold up at a.
- 26:04Speaker 2: One million dollar getaway in New Hampshire.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Prosecutors in New York say that in the mid nineties,
- 26:10Maxwell helped Epstein get access to and groom underage girls
- 26:14so that they could be sexually abused by him and
- 26:16sometimes with her participation. And we know she was very
- 26:20much involved in that. We know she abused a lot
- 26:23of girls. We know what she did to Annie. And
- 26:26she's not going to be able to slither off of
- 26:28this one. She's not going to be able to get
- 26:30out of this one. She's not going to be able
- 26:32to talk her way out of this because guess what,
- 26:35Gilane Maxwell is never going to see the light of
- 26:38day again. I know other people feel differently, et cetera,
- 26:42et cetera, But personally, I think that Gilane Maxwell was
- 26:47used as an asset by the intelligence agencies. She was
- 26:52burned after the whole entire situation with Epstein the second
- 26:55time around, and now she has been abandoned and discarded
- 27:00to her fate. That's what I believe, and I don't
- 27:05think she doesn't have the pull anymore to get out,
- 27:08so I believe that she will spend the rest of
- 27:11her life behind bars. Maxwell fifty eight was transported by
- 27:20authorities to New York City. Her first court appearance in
- 27:23Manhattan Federal Court is set for July fourteenth. She is
- 27:28currently being held in a federal jail in Brooklyn, pending
- 27:31a decision on whether she should be granted BELL. Prosecutors
- 27:34want are held without Belle, calling her an extreme flight risk,
- 27:38and for sure an extreme flight risk, she has connections
- 27:41all over the world. She should not be let out
- 27:43of jail, She should not get BELL. She should be
- 27:46forced to sit in there and rot because she is
- 27:52a danger to the community. She is a danger as
- 27:55a flight risk, and she has spent way too many
- 27:58days living the high life. It is now time that
- 28:02she begins to understand that that part of her life
- 28:06is over and the new part of her life, the
- 28:11one that well includes a jumpsuit and a jail cell
- 28:16and some solitary confinement.
- 28:18Speaker 2: That part of her life has just begun.
- 28:23Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
- 28:25at Bobby Kapucci at ProtonMail dot com. That's Bobby c
- 28:29ap u Cci at Protonmeil dot com. You can also
- 28:33find me on Twitter at Bobby Underscore capu Cci.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Inside of the.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Discription, what's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 28:46On today's episode, we're going to talk a little bit
- 28:49more about the US Virgin Islands and the various lawsuits
- 28:54that are making their way through the system as we speak.
- 28:57And today's article from Inside Edition is pivoting away from
- 29:01the JP Morgan conversation and focusing on the Deutsche Bank suit.
- 29:07So let's get into this article from Inside Edition and
- 29:11let's see what the author, Chris Spargo, has come up
- 29:15with headline Jeffrey Epstein rape victim who got seven point
- 29:20four million dollars after fifteen years of abuse gets trial
- 29:24date in Deutsche Bank suit And once again the author
- 29:28of this article is Chris Spargo. Details of the woman's settlement,
- 29:33as well as the document she had to sign in
- 29:35order to receive that money, have been made public due
- 29:39to her ongoing lawsuit against Deutsche Bank. The estate of
- 29:42Jeffrey Epstein paid seven point four million dollars to one
- 29:46of the pedophiles survivors, according to court documents obtained by
- 29:51Inside Digital details of the women's settlement with Epstein's estate,
- 29:56as well as the document she had to sign in
- 29:58order to receive that money, have been made public due
- 30:01to her ongoing lawsuit against Deutsche Bank. The woman, identified
- 30:06as Jane Doe Number one in court papers, claims in
- 30:10her complaint that Deutsche Bank knowingly benefited from participating in
- 30:14a sex trafficking venture, and I don't think there's any
- 30:17doubt at this point that Epstein, in his behavior, was
- 30:21one of the worst kept secrets within the financial sector.
- 30:24Deutsche Bank, for their part, denies Jane Doe's allegations and
- 30:29any wrongdoing. A trial date has now been set for September,
- 30:33and we also know that in October there is the
- 30:36trial date for JP Morgan, So we're going to have
- 30:40consecutive months, it looks like anyway, with some new information
- 30:44coming out from the start of these trials, from two
- 30:48thousand and three, when Doe was first introduced to Epstein
- 30:52and through her eventual separation from Epstein and his organization
- 30:56fifteen years later, Epstein and his co conspirators used extreme measures
- 31:01of force, fraud, and coercion to cause Jane Doe Number
- 31:05one to engage in commercial sex and to remain obedient
- 31:09to the organization. Doe alleges in a one hundred and
- 31:13sixty three page complaint, having been conditioned that the sexual
- 31:17abuse was normal, and knowing that everyone surrounding Epstein, including accountants, lawyers, bankers,
- 31:23and other people, were aware of the sex abuse, Jane
- 31:27Doe number one was coerced into a cult like life
- 31:30controlled by Epstein and others to be sexually abused and
- 31:34sexually trafficked. And once again, if you put the pieces together,
- 31:38I think it's relatively obvious who Jane Doe number one
- 31:41might be here. And if that is the case, and
- 31:44it is who I think it is, I don't see
- 31:46how the banks are going to wiggle out of this one.
- 31:49And that's because of all of the intimate knowledge this
- 31:51person would have of the inner workings of Jeffrey Epstein's
- 31:55criminal enterprise. Now think about it. You're purchased from your
- 31:59parents by Jean Luke Brunel as the middleman. Then you're
- 32:03brought to America and sold to Jeffrey Epstein, and then
- 32:06from there the grooming process begins, and then from that
- 32:10it turns into the normalization process, right like she says
- 32:13here and when you have all of society's heavy hitters
- 32:16hanging out down at Epstein's house and nobody is saying
- 32:19that this shit is wrong, and not only that, but
- 32:22also engaging in it with Epstein. Some of these folks,
- 32:25what's a little fourteen year old kid who has sold
- 32:27to Jeffrey Epstein supposed to think? Of course, they're going
- 32:30to think what they're doing is normal, And that once
- 32:33again brings in the focus just how dangerous enabling somebody
- 32:37like Jeffrey Epstein is. The more these movers and shakers
- 32:40validated Jeffrey Epstein's existence, the easier it was for him
- 32:44to carry out his bullshit. It's pretty clear what happened here. Finally,
- 32:49after being sexually abused, in trafficked by Epstein for fifteen years,
- 32:53Do says she made her escape in twenty eighteen. She
- 32:57later alleges that in those years under epstein control, the
- 33:00pedophile committed the following sexual offenses sexual misconduct as Epstein
- 33:07engaged in sexual intercourse with Jane Doe without her consent. Remember,
- 33:11she was purchased fourteen years old. Rape in the first
- 33:15degree as Epstein engaged in sexual intercourse with Jane Doe
- 33:19by forcible compulsion, criminal sexual act in the first degree,
- 33:23as Epstein engaged in oral sexual conduct with Jane Doe
- 33:28by forcible compulsion, forcible touching, as Epstein intentionally and for
- 33:34no legitimate purpose, forcibly sexually touched Jane Doe for the
- 33:38purpose of degrading or abusing her, or for the purpose
- 33:41of gratifying his own sexual desire, sexual abuse in the
- 33:46third degree, as Epstein inserted a foreign object in the
- 33:50vagina of Jane Doe by forcible compulsion, Aggravated sexual assault
- 33:55in the first degree, as Epstein inserted a foreign object
- 33:58in Jane Doe's vagin causing physical injury by forcible compulsion.
- 34:04And all of this, remember, was happening while she was
- 34:08basically a slave of Epstein. And when we say that
- 34:11about this person, we mean it. When you're bought by
- 34:15somebody at fourteen years old and brought to a different
- 34:18country and put into this environment where all of this
- 34:21bullshit is normalized, what else should we call you? In
- 34:25the documents, Doe does not say how old she was
- 34:28when she met Epstein, nor does she explain how she
- 34:32made her escape. She sought a settlement from the victim's
- 34:35compensation fund after Epstein's death. Well, that sounds like a
- 34:38no brainer. If she was abused from the time she
- 34:41was fourteen years old and purchased by this sick bastard
- 34:44in his pal Jean Luke Brunel, I would think that
- 34:47whatever money she got is probably not enough. Geordana Feldman,
- 34:53the administrator of the fund, said in an August twenty
- 34:56twenty one press release that the fund paid one hundred
- 34:59and twenty one million dollar to more than one hundred
- 35:02and thirty five victims, a little more than one million
- 35:05dollars per Meanwhile, the government got the lion's share of
- 35:09all of this with taxes. It had previously been revealed
- 35:13in court during the federal trial of Glenn Maxwell that
- 35:17one victim received one point five million dollars from the fund,
- 35:21and a second witness testifying against Epstein's British born enabler,
- 35:25received a five million dollar settlement. In exchange for their settlements,
- 35:29the victims were required to sign a five page document.
- 35:33Inside Edition Digital obtained that document, which states that in
- 35:37consideration of the settlement amount, the individual releases and forever
- 35:42discharges any current and former principles officers, directors, stockholders, managers, members, partners,
- 35:51limited partners, trustees, beneficiaries, administrators, agents, employees, attorneys, predecessors, success
- 36:00assigns and affiliates, and any entities or individuals who are,
- 36:06have or ever been engaged by, whether as independent contractors
- 36:10or otherwise employed by, or worked in any capacity for,
- 36:15Jeffrey E. Epstein and or the Epstein estate, from any
- 36:19and all claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, suits, debts, dues,
- 36:25sums of money, accounts, variances, trespasses, damages, and judgments, whether
- 36:31sounding and equity, tort, common law, contract, statute, regulation, or otherwise,
- 36:37and whether now existing hereafter existing or revived in the future,
- 36:42whatsoever in law, admiralty, equity, or otherwise, including without limitation,
- 36:49any and all claims or causes of action that arise
- 36:52or may arise from, or which otherwise concern acts of
- 36:56sexual abuse or sex trafficked by mister Epstein. Once signed,
- 37:01the full settlement amount would be wired to the claimant
- 37:04within fifteen days. So basically, take your few pennies and
- 37:07shut up the whole. Entire settlement fund turned out to
- 37:11be not so great of an idea in my opinion. Now,
- 37:14of course, people getting made whole and getting taken care
- 37:18of as far as financially for the abuse they suffered
- 37:22is something that should have been done a long time ago.
- 37:26But with hindsight as our guide, it certainly looks like
- 37:29this fund was set up with the hope that after
- 37:32these payments were paid out, that all of this would
- 37:34go away. And like usual, their hope was meaning people
- 37:39like Epstein and the people that were participating in Epstein's
- 37:42criminal enterprise and enabling it. They figured, throw a few
- 37:46dollars at this and it's all going to go away,
- 37:49because that's what history tells us. Rich people can throw
- 37:52money out of problem and it goes away. And that's
- 37:55been the favorite strategy for anybody involved with Jeffrey Epstein
- 37:59and Jeffrey Epstein himself, and we saw it with this fund.
- 38:02That's what it was. The estate knew. The estate knew
- 38:05that they were in jeopardy, they were exposed, so setting
- 38:08the fund up was a good idea for them. And
- 38:12once again, just to reiterate, how is it okay that
- 38:15the government got the lion's share of that money? Deutsche
- 38:19Bank unsuccessfully tried to use this settlement agreement to dismiss
- 38:23the case against them in court plaintiff's claims are released
- 38:27by the April twenty eighth, twenty twenty two General Release
- 38:30end Settlement agreement that plaintiff entered into with the Epstein Estate,
- 38:35which contains a broad release of any and all sex claims,
- 38:39including those related to acts of sexual abuse or sex
- 38:42trafficking by Epstein, against not only Epstein and his the State,
- 38:47but also against a wide array of other individuals and entities,
- 38:51including any entity that was ever engaged by or worked
- 38:55in any capacity for Epstein. Deutsche Bank writes as an
- 38:59affirmative defense in their response to Doe's complaint. In exchange
- 39:03for giving that broad release, plaintiff received a substantial settlement
- 39:07payment from the Epstein Estate. So, in other words, if
- 39:10you want to be cynical about it, the whole entire
- 39:13settlement fund was set up to protect Jeffrey Epstein's buddies,
- 39:17to protect people like this. The judge ultimately agreed to
- 39:21dismiss eight of the twelve counts, but four of the
- 39:24claims asserted by Doe are still part of the case.
- 39:28The claim that the defendants knowingly benefited from participating in
- 39:32a sex trafficking venture. The claim that the defendant obstructed
- 39:36enforcement of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, the claim that
- 39:40the defendants negligently failed to exercise reasonable care to prevent
- 39:44physical harm, the claim that the defendants negligently failed to
- 39:48exercise reasonable care as a banking institution providing non routine banking.
- 39:55The judge also weighed in on how much legal protection
- 39:58in the settlement agreement signed by Doe affords Deutsche Bank.
- 40:02Deutsche Bank also argues that the settlement agreement was intended
- 40:06to resolve a broad class of claims potentially asserted by
- 40:11dB Jane Doe, including claims against Deutsche Bank. Judge Jed
- 40:15ray Koff wrote in his opinion allowing the case to
- 40:19proceed in trial in September, but this argument is sheer
- 40:23speculation at best, and hardly sufficient to meet the high
- 40:26standard of evidence third party beneficiary status. Among the counts
- 40:32dismissed by the court were intentional infliction of emotional distress,
- 40:37participating in a sex trafficking venture, RICO violations, and aiding
- 40:42a betting and inducing a sex trafficking venture. So of
- 40:46course they dropped the RICO right. We can't have RICO
- 40:48in this case at all, not even a cent of it.
- 40:51Not even one little whiff of Rico. But Rico's good
- 40:54enough for Keith Rayniery. Rico's good enough for R. Kelly,
- 40:58but not Jeffrey Epstein. What is the difference between Jeffrey Epstein, R.
- 41:04Kelly and Keith Rayniery. They're all rich, right, they all
- 41:07have a bunch of dough. But the one thing that
- 41:09Epstein has that the other two knuckleheads couldn't even dream
- 41:12of is political power, political connections, and of course protection.
- 41:19So it really shouldn't be a shock that we've never
- 41:21seen a real Rico case or Rico statutes used when
- 41:25it comes to Epstein.
- 41:26Speaker 2: But we see it used with everybody else.
- 41:29Speaker 1: In twenty twenty, Deutsche Bank, is part of their settlement agreement,
- 41:32agreed to pay one hundred and fifty million dollars fine
- 41:35for its dealings with Epstein between twenty thirteen and twenty eighteen,
- 41:40after an investigation by the New York Department of Financial
- 41:43Services alleged that bankers overlooked multiple red flags about the
- 41:48pedophiles past and failed to properly monitor how his funds
- 41:52were being distributed. A regulator claimed that very few problematic
- 41:57transactions were ever questioned, and evil when they were, they
- 42:01were usually cleared without satisfactory explanation. In that twenty twenty report,
- 42:06which was obtained by Inside edition Digital. Deutsche Bank did
- 42:11not respond to Inside Digital's request for comment about the
- 42:15allegations made by Jane Doe in court filings. Well, we
- 42:19all know that Deutsche Bank is the preferred destination for
- 42:22scumbags worldwide. So is it a shock that they were
- 42:26balling out with Jeffrey Epstein profident making a bunch of dough,
- 42:29all the while piggybacking on Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise.
- 42:34I mean, it's not a shock to me. You know
- 42:36what would be a shock to me if these financial
- 42:39institutions didn't have these kind of allegations against them, because
- 42:43they're filled with absolute scumbags, and the people at the
- 42:46very top. When we're talking about these financial institutions, they
- 42:50don't care about anybody. You really think they care about
- 42:53you or are you feeding your family? Or are you
- 42:56paying your bills? They don't give one single shit, and
- 42:59they continue with the behavior time and time again because
- 43:02there's never ever any real repercussions. It's always some kind
- 43:07of financial fine, a slap on the wrist, and the
- 43:10same old story gets told over and over again, and
- 43:13we're gonna see the same thing here. Nobody's gonna get
- 43:16in trouble as far as legally, nobody's gonna do prison time. Oh,
- 43:20we'll get some apologies and we'll hear about how they're
- 43:22gonna fix their internal workings and make sure this never
- 43:26happens again. But the reality is inside of the financial
- 43:30sector right now as we speak, many, many people as
- 43:34scummy or scummier than Jeffrey Epstein are up to the
- 43:37very same things that Jeffrey Epstein was up to, And
- 43:41these financial institutions are right on board once again, going
- 43:45along for the ride. All right, folks, that's gonna do
- 43:49it for this one. All of the information that goes
- 43:51with the episode can be found in the description box.
