- 0:00Hello, good morning. Welcome. I am Samuel Trapp. This is
- 0:03International Flavor. You are on damn radio.com forward slash
- 0:10live is where I believe you are. Feel free to phone in 5737468
- 0:15020. It appears someone put the studio back together for me. So
- 0:19I don't have to do anything because I don't know what the
- 0:21hell I'm doing. Didn't want to cock it up. Yesterday was, you
- 0:26know, interesting day had, you know, Monday, friggin Monday,
- 0:32and today is Tuesday. Tomorrow, just for your listening
- 0:35pleasure, is the biggest day in radio history, which happens
- 0:40every single Wednesday, when we have lots of talk starts with
- 0:45me ends with like lots of folks in the middle, you can find the
- 0:49list at damn radio.com forward slash schedule. And you can see
- 0:54it jr is here every day, Monday through Friday from two to four.
- 1:00And I am here mornings, Monday through Thursday, because I've
- 1:06decided to be lazy in my old age and not work on Fridays. Um,
- 1:12from 730 to 9am. And that is that you can listen to all my
- 1:19shows at international flavor.com, which I store out
- 1:23there also for your perusal. Should you choose to do so? I'm
- 1:30gonna do a little bit because I want to play this video for
- 1:34you. There's a guy. I don't know if you watch him and he you
- 1:36know, I, I don't know who he is. You know, I've watched him a
- 1:40few times, but I don't know. I mean, he's not famous or
- 1:42nothing. He's just guy with a YouTube channel appears to be a
- 1:46normal Joe Blow, just like me, but he says stuff that I tend
- 1:50to agree with. And I have been trying to put into words, some
- 1:56of the things that he has said. And, you know, I was watching
- 2:00him last night late. And I was like, you know what, he's, he's
- 2:04done such a good job. I think I'm going to share his 13
- 2:08minutes. Am I screaming in the microphone again, like an idiot?
- 2:12I don't mean to, but it seems to be a bit loud in my ear so that
- 2:18I can control I believe, and I shall. So at any rate, I think
- 2:24I'm going to play this video for you. But before I do, I want to
- 2:29tell you a little bit about because I've had similar thought
- 2:32processes. And I just think this guy puts together for me plus
- 2:36he pulled a senator who listened to or a state rep. I don't know
- 2:40which one he is. I didn't recognize him either. And he
- 2:43didn't put his name on on the bottom. And I think he mentions
- 2:47it in the show. So I'll let you I'll let you listen to that.
- 2:50It's only 13 minutes. And one of the most important parts of
- 2:53this in my view is he put up a slide and a backdrop of US
- 3:01interventions since World War Two. And he was comparing this
- 3:08this Cyrus Jansen, I believe his name is got a YouTube channel
- 3:12900 and something thousand subscribers. So more power to
- 3:15him. I think that's good stuff. And he he put up a screen. And
- 3:23so and I don't want to say this is my research because it's not
- 3:27and he put up this slide that says US interventions since World
- 3:33War Two, bomb attacks, sabotage, and attempted regime change.
- 3:39And he was comparing us to China, because, like me, he
- 3:44believes as to several other people that the mistakes that
- 3:48are being made internationally these days, by the Trump team
- 3:52are going to come back and bite us in the ass, and they already
- 3:55are. And, but he and he believes similarly to me, but he put it
- 4:00he put it very well. And he listed this and he came up with
- 4:05some 6667, you know, places, and I want to I'm going to list them
- 4:13I'm going to go through them all. And from 1945 to 1965 is
- 4:22quite a list to 20 years, China, Syria, Korea, China, again,
- 4:27Iran, Guatemala, Tibet, Indonesia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of
- 4:32Congo, Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Brazil, British Guyana, Republic
- 4:38of Congo, Guatemala, Laos, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, and Peru.
- 4:45Okay, if you get all the way to 70, you can add Greece, Guatemala,
- 4:49Cambodia, after 1970, until 1991, you know, follow the Soviet Union,
- 4:58let's let's let's go that list, because it's, again, pretty large.
- 5:02Cambodia, Chile, Argentina, Angola, Turkey, Poland, El Salvador,
- 5:07Nicaragua, Cambodia, again, Lebanon, Grenada, Libya, Iran, Libya,
- 5:13again, Philippines, Panama, Haiti, Iraq, Kuwait, Somalia, Iraq,
- 5:21that those are 92 to 96, Somalia and Iraq, and then Bosnia, 95.
- 5:27Iraq, 98, Sudan, 98, Afghanistan, 98, Yugoslavia, 99, Afghanistan,
- 5:342001, Iraq, 2002, 2003, Yemen, 2002 to 2020, Haiti, 2004,
- 5:42Somalia, 2006 and 7, Iran, 2005 to the present, Honduras, 2009,
- 5:49Libya, 2011, Syria, 2011 to the present, Brazil, 2016, Bolivia,
- 5:562019, Venezuela, 2019, Guyana, 2020, Iraq, 2020, Somalia, 2020,
- 6:04Afghanistan, 2020.
- 6:07And it doesn't even list Ukraine in there, or the current Venezuela,
- 6:15you know, those two aren't listed in there.
- 6:17So it's nearly 70 times 68, 69, something like that, from that list
- 6:24that I put together.
- 6:24And again, that's not my list.
- 6:25That's his list.
- 6:26But that sounds about right.
- 6:27You know, I've done some some looks myself too.
- 6:30And, you know, depending on how you how you count them, there could be
- 6:34three or four more, three or four less, depending on what you count.
- 6:39And we are continually engaging in international force of other people
- 6:46to force our democracy.
- 6:48And his point is that when you get through all of this, and you look
- 6:53at what China is doing in the danger of what's going on right now, and
- 6:56I think he puts it very well.
- 6:58So I really, I'm just gonna share it.
- 7:00I'm stealing his content, and I'm gonna share it with you.
- 7:03But at least I'm giving him credit for it, because it's his work.
- 7:07And he put it together, and it's a decent channel on his.
- 7:11And I've seen him once or twice before.
- 7:13But it's not somebody I watch all the time.
- 7:15And I'm not sure he puts out things all that often.
- 7:17I really haven't done any research on his channel.
- 7:19And I just like the way he put it.
- 7:22He seems like a calm and reasonable and an interesting assessment.
- 7:26And those of you who think that what we are doing across the world is a good thing,
- 7:35I think you're mistaken.
- 7:39And my take is a little more brutal than this guy's take.
- 7:43He seems, if anything, he's nicer than I am.
- 7:46And I want to play for you one other thing before I get to him, because
- 7:53this is the crap that we are living in right now.
- 7:58And if you think that Marco Rubio is the answer, and again, now I kind of feel like,
- 8:06all right, a year is gone.
- 8:08Now we're seeing the true colors.
- 8:10We are right back to neocon, and we're not leaving.
- 8:15And Trump is part of the neocon movement now.
- 8:20He's fully involved.
- 8:22And all you got to do is listen to this.
- 8:27All you got to do is listen to Marco Rubio.
- 8:30Now, I don't believe any of this.
- 8:32I believe he is misstating and stretching the truth here.
- 8:36You're free to believe what you want, but I don't believe a drop of what he says here.
- 8:41And let me see.
- 8:41It's only a minute or two long.
- 8:44So I'll play this Rubio track for you.
- 8:47And let's get going with him, because, I mean, the nuts have escaped the nut house.
- 8:56OK, and listen to this guy.
- 8:59The single most serious threat to the United States from the Western hemisphere is from
- 9:03transnational terrorist.
- 9:05Hold on, I don't know if I got that in the very beginning or not, or if I can somehow
- 9:09get to the to the start of it, because that doesn't seem to be the primarily focused on
- 9:14narco trafficking, but there are all sides businesses as well.
- 9:17So the good news is we have a lot of countries in the region that openly cooperate and work
- 9:21with us to confront these challenges.
- 9:23Mexico, their level of cooperation with us is the highest it's ever been in their
- 9:27history. It's throughout Central America for the most part, except for maybe Nicaragua
- 9:30and to some extent Honduras.
- 9:32We've had great cooperation from Ecuador, from El Salvador, from Ecuador being in South
- 9:37America, but across the Pacific Coast where we're also undertaking efforts.
- 9:42Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, these are all nations that cooperate with us openly in
- 9:47search of stability in the region.
- 9:49You move to the Caribbean basin, in Trinidad, in Guyana, in Jamaica, in the Dominican
- 9:54Republic, countries that openly cooperate with us.
- 9:56Even Colombia, despite its unusual president, has institutions in that country that work
- 10:02very closely with us. And those ties remain unimpeded and unaffected.
- 10:05So all of this is very positive.
- 10:07There's one place that doesn't cooperate, and it's the illegitimate regime in
- 10:11Venezuela. Not only do they not cooperate with us, they openly cooperate with terrorists
- 10:15and criminal elements.
- 10:16For example, they invite Hezbollah in Iran to operate from their territory.
- 10:20But they also allow the ELN and the FARC dissidents not just to operate from inside of
- 10:24Venezuelan territory, to control Venezuelan territory unencumbered, unimpeded.
- 10:28On top of that, we know that they are in cahoots with drug trafficking organizations.
- 10:34It's not that they don't. It's not just that they don't work with us against these
- 10:37organizations. It's that they openly cooperate with these guys and allow them to
- 10:42operate. So these guys are marching in and out, doing whatever they want from Venezuelan
- 10:48territory. And it's a challenge.
- 10:50And so that's why that's received so much attention.
- 10:52Now, do we consider Maduro legitimate?
- 10:54No. And by the way, guys, when I say these things about Maduro and his role in
- 10:56narcotrafficking, it's not I hear, as you report, Marco Rubio says, it's not me, a
- 11:01grand jury. And who gives a crap about any grand jury?
- 11:06You can indict a ham sandwich.
- 11:08Every lawyer knows this.
- 11:10This is crap. New York, a grand jury in the Southern District of New York was presented
- 11:15evidence and came back with an indictment, not just against Maduro, by the way.
- 11:18So this is a lie. A bunch of people.
- 11:20This is how you lie as a lawyer.
- 11:22In fact, this is the easiest lie as a lawyer.
- 11:25The nephews of the of his wife indicted, convicted in the United States for
- 11:29narcotrafficking. Like this was until President Trump started doing something about
- 11:34these narcotrafficking links.
- 11:35Nobody disputed that Maduro and his regime was in cahoots with narcotraffickers, not
- 11:41to mention the fact that they unleashed train that Agua gangs on the United States.
- 11:45They've unleashed a mass migration event, perhaps the largest in history.
- 11:49Eight million people have left Venezuela since 2014.
- 11:53When it comes to the. OK, this is is what I'm talking about.
- 11:57This is a gifted lawyer selling you something right now, and that is what he is doing.
- 12:04This is a salesman talking to a jury.
- 12:07This is what lawyers do.
- 12:09OK, and he takes half truths, mistruths, straight up untruths and converts them into a
- 12:18narrative for the jury.
- 12:19That's you to listen to and then tries to make it sound good and sound reasonable because
- 12:24he's a pretty boy and people will tend to believe him more than they will.
- 12:29Donald Trump, who just gets out there, it's like this, you know, and you know, he says
- 12:35the same thing all the time is is unfortunate for Donald Trump and he doesn't put it
- 12:40together like like Rubio, the salesman can.
- 12:44And so this is the start of how you take over a regime.
- 12:50And all they're doing is justifying their own bad acts and the thievery of oil from
- 12:57Venezuela of look over here while I present this story to you over here.
- 13:04But the real story is inside of Venezuela and the theft that is going on openly by the
- 13:12U.S. government. OK, and now I want to share with you the the history.
- 13:18Remember that what I showed you about.
- 13:26About the number of times that we have have engaged in regime change for all the same
- 13:32things that we contrast a second, we've got to get a zero him out a second.
- 13:37Sorry, I'm not I'm not as gifted in the in the studio as some.
- 13:43And I want to play for you his his discussion on and in the name of his of his show or
- 13:52well, it's Cyrus Jansen J.
- 13:54A. N. S. S. E. N.
- 13:57Is how you spell his name.
- 13:58He's had on two hundred eighty eight thousand views of this video put up three years
- 14:04ago. I played for you some Jeffrey Sachs last week and a little bit talked about it
- 14:10yesterday. And but I want to share with you this video of his, which is called Why
- 14:18Trump's Venezuela War is a gift to China.
- 14:22And I want you to pay attention to this because it absolutely makes sense.
- 14:28Every stitch of it.
- 14:29What he says, because trust me, the rest of the world is paying attention to this and
- 14:37the rest of the world is watching us creating war wars and rumors of wars and weeping and
- 14:45wailing and gnashing of teeth that's going on all over the West because of what Donald
- 14:53Trump and company are doing.
- 14:55And, you know, it's one thing to be a nationalist of what I feel is the greatest nation
- 15:02in the world, the United States.
- 15:03It's quite another to be a colonial leader of the next kingdom that is going to just force
- 15:14everyone into submission and dominate them.
- 15:17This is how regimes and kingdoms and monarchs get toppled is the base doesn't agree.
- 15:29And I'm a member of the base.
- 15:32And but I think more importantly, the rest of the world is a member of the base that
- 15:37doesn't agree, didn't agree with with.
- 15:42The US under the previous regimes of presidents over the last 15 to 20 years, stretching NATO
- 15:50into the the southeast of Asia, which is BS and and trying to dominate the world with
- 15:58NATO. And they don't like it any better now that the US is somewhat divorcing itself from
- 16:05the EU part of NATO and going, well, screw them all.
- 16:11Then we're nationalists.
- 16:12We'll do it all ourselves.
- 16:14We don't need any of them.
- 16:16And if they disagree with us, you know, I feel like we're in the stages of Tiakhtoni
- 16:23Tsunami Protivnas, which is a famous Russian statement by the by the Tsar and by many in
- 16:31Russian history, actually.
- 16:33And what it means is basically those who aren't with us are against us, meaning if
- 16:38you're not our friend, that makes you my enemy.
- 16:40You know, if you're not my you can't have there's nothing in between, basically.
- 16:45Those who aren't with us are against us.
- 16:47And I feel like that's that's where we are going.
- 16:51Well, you don't like the fact that we want Greenland.
- 16:54Tough shit. We're taking it anyway.
- 16:56You don't like the fact that Cuba chooses to disagree with our way of life.
- 17:01Tough shit. We're going to take Cuba, too.
- 17:03You don't like the fact that Iran, we get to declare that the people of Iran are against
- 17:09their own leadership and we get to come in and dictate how that leadership is going to
- 17:14be pro-American.
- 17:15Fine. You know, we'll do that on our own, too.
- 17:19That's not going to happen, by the way.
- 17:22And not not there are people who aren't going to support that move.
- 17:26And I hate to think that we're going to wake up the the China end of this.
- 17:34And so I'm going to, without further ado, give you Cyrus Janssen's full video.
- 17:40No, it is 11 minutes.
- 17:44Oh, no, it's not. 13 minutes.
- 17:48Long, 13 minutes and three seconds, it appears, and I shall share it with you even now.
- 17:55Pay attention. What if I told you that China, not the United States, is actually the
- 17:59biggest winner of Trump's invasion of Venezuela?
- 18:02I know that sounds counterintuitive.
- 18:04On the surface, the media is telling us that this is a power move from the United States.
- 18:08Proof that Trump is willing to use force to reassert American dominance and restore U.S.
- 18:13leverage around the world.
- 18:14But beneath that narrative, something far more dangerous is unfolding.
- 18:18Just listen to the words of former U.S.
- 18:20ambassador Michael McFaul, who recently warned, if Trump keeps acting like the leader of an
- 18:25imperial rogue state, more and more countries will begin to lean towards China, which will
- 18:30be perceived as the more rational, peaceful rules abiding great power.
- 18:35What could be worse for long term American national interests?
- 18:38That's a devastating question because the answer is nothing.
- 18:42And this isn't hypothetical.
- 18:44Across much of the world today, especially outside the West, China is increasingly viewed
- 18:48as the more rational, peaceful and certainly rules abiding power.
- 18:53When was the last time China was involved in a major war?
- 18:551979 in Vietnam.
- 18:58And when was the last time China carried out a regime change operation?
- 19:01The answer is simple.
- 19:02It hasn't.
- 19:03Now contrast that with the United States.
- 19:05Since World War Two, Washington has launched more than 50 regime change operations across
- 19:11nearly every region of the globe.
- 19:13But this moment is different.
- 19:14According to Senator Chris Murphy, who spoke candidly after a classified briefing on Venezuela,
- 19:19the United States is embarking on a path that could fundamentally reshape the global order.
- 19:24This is an insane plan.
- 19:26They are talking about stealing the Venezuelan oil at gunpoint for a period of time undefined
- 19:35as leverage to micromanage the country.
- 19:38The scope and insanity of that plan is absolutely stunning.
- 19:45So we learned a lot.
- 19:46I'm glad we had the briefing.
- 19:47But this is going to be a very, very rough ride for the United States.
- 19:53The danger here is that most Americans can't see what's happening because the propaganda
- 19:58coming from the White House and much of legacy media is extremely effective.
- 20:02Just look at a recent New York Times article titled,
- 20:05How the Don Roe Doctrine Reinforces Xi's Vision of Power in Asia.
- 20:09It's a remarkable distortion.
- 20:11The United States invades a sovereign country, detains its leader,
- 20:15threatens to seize its natural resources,
- 20:17openly discusses new regime change operations in Cuba, Colombia, Iran,
- 20:21and even floats the possibility of using military force against Greenland,
- 20:26which don't forget is a NATO ally.
- 20:28And yet somehow this story becomes about China.
- 20:31This is why the United States so fundamentally misunderstands its rival.
- 20:35And the ancient Chinese strategist, Sun Tzu,
- 20:38explained this centuries ago in his classic book, The Art of War.
- 20:41If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained, you will also suffer a defeat.
- 20:46If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
- 20:50That quote perfectly captures the current moment.
- 20:53The U.S. government neither understands itself nor the nature of China's strategy.
- 20:57And when that happens, what looks like strength in the short term
- 21:00becomes defeat in the long term.
- 21:03China understands this dynamic,
- 21:05and that's precisely why it's positioned to benefit most from America's overreach.
- 21:09Next week, Canada's prime minister will fly to China for a meeting with Beijing
- 21:13to specifically reduce Canada's economic reliance on the United States.
- 21:17This meeting 100% would not happen without the actions of Donald Trump.
- 21:22But even Canada, the United States' longest and most trusted ally,
- 21:26has had enough and will now seek a stronger partnership with Beijing.
- 21:30But most Americans still can't see the reality of what's going on.
- 21:33Just watch this clip from Glenn Beck, the owner of Blaze,
- 21:37a conservative media company who shares his theory
- 21:39on why Trump's moves are so good for the United States.
- 21:42China needs the oil.
- 21:45Well, 60 to 90% of all of the exports from Venezuela now not going to China.
- 21:52How is China going to be able to power all of their electricity needs?
- 21:56How are they going to do that if they don't get oil from Venezuela?
- 21:59So how exactly is China supposed to power its growing electricity needs?
- 22:02Well, if you actually look at the data, China doesn't have a power problem at all.
- 22:07In fact, China has been steadily increasing
- 22:09its electricity output for the past 25 consecutive years,
- 22:13becoming the largest producer of renewable energy in the world,
- 22:16while US electricity growth has largely stagnated.
- 22:19With the explosion of AI and the massive increase in electricity demand that comes with it,
- 22:23I'm honestly far more concerned about whether the United States can keep up, not China.
- 22:28Just consider this.
- 22:29In the first half of 2025 alone,
- 22:31China added more than twice as much solar capacity as the rest of the world combined.
- 22:36That's not a country struggling to meet future energy demand.
- 22:39That's a country racing ahead of everyone else.
- 22:42Which brings us back to Venezuela.
- 22:44The idea that Venezuela could somehow deal a serious blow to China's energy supply
- 22:49is completely false.
- 22:51China is roughly 80% energy independent,
- 22:53making it one of the most energy self-sufficient major economies on earth.
- 22:58And of the roughly 20% of energy China does import,
- 23:01only about 2% comes from Venezuela.
- 23:03China has spent decades deliberately diversifying its energy imports
- 23:07so it is never overly dependent on any single country.
- 23:11And this graph makes that crystal clear.
- 23:13Even in a scenario like Venezuela,
- 23:15China's energy system is built to absorb shocks without disruption.
- 23:19And here's the real irony.
- 23:20If the United States takes control of Venezuelan oil and sells it to global markets,
- 23:25that increases global supply and pushes prices down,
- 23:28which actually benefits Chinese refiners and energy consumers,
- 23:31rather than hurting them.
- 23:32But here is why America's conquest in Venezuela
- 23:35is different from other regime change operations.
- 23:38Just listen to Vice President J.D. Vance
- 23:40and meet his intentions on national television.
- 23:43Taking out a dictator in Venezuela,
- 23:45how does that help the average American?
- 23:48Well, a few things, Jesse.
- 23:49First of all, what it means is we're going to be able to control
- 23:52the incredible natural resources of Venezuela.
- 23:55So U.S. citizens are going to benefit
- 23:56because our government is literally going to invade a sovereign country
- 24:00and steal their natural resources.
- 24:02You see, normally when the United States intervenes in another country,
- 24:05whether true or not,
- 24:06the U.S. government usually comes up with a moral justification,
- 24:10like liberating the people, spreading democracy.
- 24:13But the Trump administration isn't even trying to hide their true intentions.
- 24:17We're going to have a presence in Venezuela as it pertains to oil.
- 24:21We're going to get the oil flowing the way it should be.
- 24:23Just remember, this isn't about drugs.
- 24:26This isn't about American safety.
- 24:27It most certainly isn't about democracy
- 24:29or actually doing anything that would benefit the people of Venezuela.
- 24:33Moving forward, the U.S. government's official policy is one of colonialism,
- 24:37where the United States will exert its power on whomever it chooses
- 24:41and take whatever it wants in return.
- 24:43This is actually the words of Stephen Miller,
- 24:45the White House chief of staff for policy,
- 24:48who is the mastermind behind all of Trump's aggressive military action.
- 24:53The idiot behind all of Trump's...
- 24:57Not the mastermind, the idiot.
- 24:59Listen to this moron.
- 25:00Hang on, Stephen Miller.
- 25:03The United States of America is running Venezuela.
- 25:06By definition, that's true.
- 25:07Jake, we live in a law...
- 25:09So according to Miller, might makes right,
- 25:12and whoever is the most powerful country now has the authority to be in charge,
- 25:16which is actually kind of interesting,
- 25:17because it essentially means the U.S. administration
- 25:20is now supporting the idea of Russia's invasion into Ukraine.
- 25:24Because honestly speaking,
- 25:25how could any U.S. government official lecture Putin
- 25:27and say he is not allowed to attack Ukraine?
- 25:30In Putin's eyes, Ukraine joining NATO is a legitimate security threat to his country,
- 25:35and according to the U.S. government's new position in foreign policy,
- 25:38might makes right.
- 25:39Do you see where I'm going with this
- 25:41and why I said at the start of the video
- 25:42Trump's actions in Venezuela are going to backfire on the United States?
- 25:47But now I want to reveal to you the real reason Trump is doing all of this.
- 25:50We've already established this has nothing to do with freedom
- 25:53and democracy for the Venezuelan people.
- 25:55The U.S. government could care less about these people
- 25:58and have been crystal clear their primary interest is in fact the oil.
- 26:02But there is another layer to this complex situation,
- 26:05and let's explore this together.
- 26:06Senator Elizabeth Warren shared this tweet,
- 26:08which gives us some insights.
- 26:10I just left the Venezuela briefing.
- 26:12It's worse than you thought.
- 26:13Oil company executives seem to know more about Trump's secret plan
- 26:17to run Venezuela than the American people.
- 26:20And this is another major problem for the Trump administration,
- 26:23because if the oil companies were informed about an act of war
- 26:27before it happened and Congress was not,
- 26:29this is what an authoritarian regime run by oligarchs looks like.
- 26:34Venezuela was a gift to the U.S. stock market
- 26:36and a coordinated stimulus operation.
- 26:39Just look at how every major U.S. oil stock immediately surged in trading.
- 26:43Chevron gained 11% in a single day of trading,
- 26:46adding $35 billion in market cap alone.
- 26:49And now look at the message President Trump sent over the weekend.
- 26:52I am pleased to announce the interim authorities in Venezuela
- 26:55will be turning over 30 to 50 million barrels
- 26:58of high quality sanctioned oil to the United States.
- 27:02This oil will be sold at its market price
- 27:04and that money will be controlled by me
- 27:07as President of the United States.
- 27:09This direct power move by Trump
- 27:10to personally control the money from this sale
- 27:13was confirmed in this article from Defense One, who reports,
- 27:17the White House says it will put the proceeds
- 27:18from selling seized Venezuelan oil into offshore accounts
- 27:22so that the money would not be held by the U.S. Treasury,
- 27:24but be controlled by President Trump,
- 27:27as he declared on social media Tuesday evening.
- 27:29Offshore bank accounts?
- 27:31Controlled only by the President of the United States?
- 27:33Are you kidding me?
- 27:34This is corruption and manipulation on an entirely new level,
- 27:38but it gets even worse.
- 27:40The White House sent out this message to the American public.
- 27:43I have determined that for the good of our country,
- 27:46especially in these very troubled and dangerous times,
- 27:49our military budget for the year 2027 should not be $1 trillion,
- 27:53but rather $1.5 trillion.
- 27:56And just like that,
- 27:57Donald Trump has increased the U.S. military spending
- 28:00by $500 billion.
- 28:02Are you kidding me?
- 28:03This is not what the American public voted for.
- 28:05U.S. citizens want affordable housing,
- 28:08healthcare,
- 28:08childcare,
- 28:09and better opportunities,
- 28:10but once again,
- 28:11Trump has proven to the world
- 28:13and most importantly to U.S. citizens
- 28:15who voted him into power
- 28:16that he has no interest in serving the people,
- 28:19but instead enriching himself
- 28:20and the military industrial complex.
- 28:23The U.S. government wants you to believe Trump's actions
- 28:25are for the best long-term interest of the United States,
- 28:28but honestly,
- 28:29I see the complete opposite.
- 28:31These actions are of a desperate leader
- 28:33who realizes he is losing power
- 28:35and there are massive red flags
- 28:36waving at all of us in the face.
- 28:39This past week,
- 28:40Trump has announced a massive military expansion,
- 28:43threatened to annex new territories,
- 28:45demonstrated a willingness to use force unilaterally,
- 28:48launched a new imperial doctrine
- 28:49and withdrawn from international organizations
- 28:52and international treaties,
- 28:54but what's most revealing
- 28:55is what Trump said in a press conference earlier this week.
- 28:58Not many people caught this,
- 29:00but I honestly think this is the main reason
- 29:02Trump is leading the United States
- 29:03down this dangerous path.
- 29:05I don't win the midterms
- 29:06because if we don't win the midterms,
- 29:09it's just going to be,
- 29:11I mean,
- 29:12they'll find a reason to impeach me.
- 29:15I'll get impeached.
- 29:16And there it is,
- 29:17straight from the mouth of the president of the United States,
- 29:20Trump knows his time is limited
- 29:22and his only hope to win the midterm elections
- 29:24is to draw the United States into more conflict,
- 29:27prop up the stock market
- 29:28with these illegal moves in Venezuela
- 29:30and hope it's enough
- 29:31to keep the Republicans in charge of Congress
- 29:33after the midterm elections.
- 29:35If he fails to do that,
- 29:37there's a very high chance that he gets impeached
- 29:39and loses all of his power.
- 29:41But I'm gonna leave you with one final tweet
- 29:42from former ambassador Michael McFaul,
- 29:45which once again proves China
- 29:46is going to benefit the most
- 29:47from this internal chaos in the United States.
- 29:50This past week,
- 29:51the US government withdrew itself
- 29:52from no less than 66 different
- 29:54international organizations and treaties
- 29:57and the ambassador states the obvious,
- 29:59this is a giant gift to China.
- 30:01The CCP won't be withdrawing
- 30:03from any of these multilateral organizations
- 30:05or agreements.
- 30:06We are retiring as a global superpower.
- 30:08This won't end well for our security or prosperity.
- 30:11The simple reality is that
- 30:13if the United States does not want
- 30:14to be the world leader anymore,
- 30:16then another country will have to step in
- 30:18and fill this void.
- 30:19China is already the top trading partner
- 30:21to over 120 countries around the globe.
- 30:24Instead of launching regime changes
- 30:26and military operations,
- 30:28China chooses to invest in infrastructure
- 30:29and trade deals.
- 30:31And this is why 53 of 54 African nations
- 30:34pledged their allegiance to China last year
- 30:36in a tariff-free trade agreement.
- 30:38Let's just answer that question
- 30:40that ambassador Michael McFaul asked
- 30:41at the beginning of today's video.
- 30:43Which superpower right now
- 30:44is the more rational, peaceful,
- 30:46and rules abiding great power?
- 30:48And the answer becomes quite obvious.
- 30:50China is going to step in and fill America's void.
- 30:53And this is why I believe
- 30:53they are gonna be the long-term winner
- 30:55of America's illegal invasion into Venezuela.
- 30:58Everyone, I wanna thank you for making...
- 31:00That I wanted to share with you in its entirety.
- 31:04And that is Cyrus Janssen.
- 31:08He made some highly effective
- 31:14and logical statements of everything.
- 31:18And I'm happy to listen to other parts of it.
- 31:21Some of the things I've said.
- 31:23I reported to you last week
- 31:24about the withdrawing of the US
- 31:27from these 66 organizations.
- 31:30Just unilaterally we're out.
- 31:32Now, most of them, or a good number of them,
- 31:35I agree with.
- 31:36If you're gonna have the society
- 31:39for the organization for transgender athletics,
- 31:44fine, those sort of things.
- 31:46I don't believe we should be involved in anyway.
- 31:49But the fact is 66 organizations,
- 31:54some of which they've been around for a long time,
- 31:59and the US is out of them.
- 32:00I'm more concerned about
- 32:03the other unilateral activities.
- 32:06The putting money in an offshore account
- 32:10that the president controls,
- 32:13that's shocking.
- 32:15Upping the budget to 1.5 trillion,
- 32:18just unilaterally,
- 32:20that's not how spending works.
- 32:24And that is supposed to be...
- 32:27The budget comes from the legislative branch.
- 32:31But oh no, not if you're Donald Trump.
- 32:34You just, ah, here's another 500 billion,
- 32:39half a trillion dollars.
- 32:42Jansen is not alone in his statements.
- 32:48I tell you what,
- 32:49most of the things that he reported to you,
- 32:52I have reported to you as well,
- 32:56and made the same sorts of commentary.
- 32:59But I really liked how he put it all together,
- 33:02and it flowed pretty well.
- 33:04And his name is, again, Cyrus Jansen,
- 33:07J-A-N-S-S-E-N.
- 33:10And he's got a,
- 33:14what do you call it,
- 33:16channel on YouTube.
- 33:18It's pretty good.
- 33:20Never interrupt your opponent
- 33:23while he is in the middle of making a mistake.
- 33:26And some of the commentary that is read under here,
- 33:30this isn't new.
- 33:31The United States has been a lawless empire for decades.
- 33:34The only difference now
- 33:35is they aren't even hiding behind democracy,
- 33:38human rights, or freedom BS.
- 33:42You know that people are putting,
- 33:43I guess now Netanyahu and Trump are in the same boat.
- 33:47Keep wars going to save their power and avoid jail time.
- 33:51Now I disagree with jail time,
- 33:53but here's one.
- 33:55I'm Danish and cheer on anyone giving the USA a hard time.
- 33:59Total arrogant mafia state and traitors.
- 34:02They need to learn humility.
- 34:05A civilization that's been here for 5,000 years
- 34:08isn't going to easily be outsmarted
- 34:11by a gang of capital mobsters
- 34:13who've only been in existence for 250 years.
- 34:16Freedom and democracy are the last thing Trump cares about.
- 34:21Cyrus, this is what everyone is missing.
- 34:23China has an agreement with Venezuela
- 34:26over the Chinese-built Alula oil platform,
- 34:29which is worth billions and functions as an energy hub.
- 34:33It serves a strategic foothold in the Western Hemisphere,
- 34:36delivers 60,000 barrels of crude daily.
- 34:40Over $60 billion in Chinese loans
- 34:42are tied to Venezuelan oil exports,
- 34:45making China the nation's backer and strategic protector.
- 34:51China's defense of its investment isn't through tanks,
- 34:55but through contracts and courts.
- 34:57Legally binding oil repayment agreements
- 35:02give Beijing leverage over any future Venezuelan government.
- 35:07If needed, China can bring these disputes into international court,
- 35:12locking up Venezuelan oil assets for years.
- 35:15The energy contracts that China has with Venezuela
- 35:18include arbitration clauses under institutions
- 35:21like the World Bank or ISDS,
- 35:25giving investors a neutral ground to challenge.
- 35:28When nations default, companies or sovereign leaders can seize assets.
- 35:32This legal power gives creditor nations enormous military.
- 35:36So this guy's trying to justify the takeover.
- 35:42The Chinese are sending ships to continue receiving payment
- 35:45of the oil per the loan for oil agreement.
- 35:47The U.S. allows China to do this
- 35:49because they know China can crank up the pain
- 35:52on the American economy in an election year that will sink Trump.
- 35:56Those Chinese flagged oil tankers get a big pass,
- 35:59and the U.S. is not embarrassed.
- 36:00China controls the majority of Venezuelan oil,
- 36:0360 million barrels a day,
- 36:05and the U.S. cannot dislodge China from the Alula oil platform.
- 36:09The rest of Venezuela oil is extremely difficult and costly to extract.
- 36:14It all is for show in the U.S.
- 36:17The kidnapping of Maduro is a big nothing burger.
- 36:24And so here's one.
- 36:27To be an enemy of America is dangerous,
- 36:30but to be an ally is fatal.
- 36:33Some of these comments, you know, are just...
- 36:38It's, tell you what, it's an interesting world we're living in right now.
- 36:43And I, you know, I, for one,
- 36:46am not all that impressed with where we are so far.
- 36:53Um, I wanted to read to you, there was a,
- 36:57where is my Greenland, uh, bill?
- 37:02So somebody pushed, somebody put a, uh, a Greenland bill.
- 37:08Here we go.
- 37:09This came out, um, this morning.
- 37:12Um, Denmark's ambassador to Washington,
- 37:17Jesper Møller Sorensen,
- 37:20has said he made it abundantly clear to U.S. Congressman Randy Fine
- 37:28that Greenland is part of Denmark after the lawmaker introduced a bill
- 37:34calling for annexation of the Arctic Island.
- 37:38On Monday, the Republican congressman introduced the Greenland Annexation and Statehood Act.
- 37:46The bill is aimed to authorize the U.S. president to take
- 37:50whatever steps are necessary to annex or acquire Greenland,
- 37:55and mandates a report to Congress outlining the measures required for its eventual admission
- 38:02as a state.
- 38:04Can you believe this?
- 38:05In a post on X, the Danish ambassador said he and Greenland's representative in Washington
- 38:11met with Fine the same day,
- 38:13reiterated that the autonomous Arctic territory is part of Denmark.
- 38:18Sorensen added that Copenhagen and Greenland are ready to deepen security cooperation with the U.S.
- 38:25to strengthen NATO's collective defense.
- 38:28But Donald Trump said last week that the U.S. would acquire Greenland one way or the other.
- 38:35This is nuts!
- 38:36He also argued that Denmark is unable to provide security for the world's largest island
- 38:43and claimed it's covered with Russian and Chinese ships.
- 38:46Total horse crap, by the way.
- 38:49The allegations have been rejected by a number of officials and by me.
- 38:54Trump has sought to acquire Greenland since his first term.
- 38:58He renewed the push shortly after assuming office in 2025,
- 39:01stressed that the island is vital to Arctic security.
- 39:06Which it isn't.
- 39:07The claims coming on the heels, excuse me, of a U.S. military raid in Venezuela
- 39:13and the unprecedented kidnapping of its president
- 39:17have further heightened tension between Washington and Europe,
- 39:21who have uniformly rejected the U.S.'s attempt to take control over Greenland.
- 39:27Denmark insists that the future of the island,
- 39:31which already hosts a U.S. military base, must be decided by its people,
- 39:36the vast majority of whom voted in 2008 to maintain self-governing status with Denmark.
- 39:44Beijing has condemned Trump's use of China and Russia as pretexts
- 39:48for expanding U.S. influence in the region.
- 39:53While Moscow has yet to officially respond to Trump's latest remarks,
- 39:59Russia warns against Arctic militarization
- 40:03and said Greenland's future should be decided by its people.
- 40:10And isn't that crazy?
- 40:13I hate to laugh over this stuff, I really do.
- 40:19But it's, I can't decide if the world is, you know, where am I living?
- 40:26You know, people, you know, it's been real popular all over the place
- 40:30and I've actually started kind of liking them.
- 40:32It took me a while to get, oh, how long did it take me to even watch a Walking Dead episode?
- 40:43I wouldn't do it.
- 40:44I don't like gross.
- 40:47I don't like scary movies.
- 40:49I cover my eyes in bloody parts of movies, you know, real gore and stuff like that.
- 40:56I just don't like it.
- 40:59But I do like the theme of post-apocalyptic, you know, I've always found that interesting.
- 41:11I don't know why, you know, starting with books like The Stand, you know, Stephen King
- 41:19and, you know, the world ending or a big plague killing people off or whatever.
- 41:24People turning into zombies.
- 41:27Remember the Brad Pitt movie, State of Z, I think it was called?
- 41:35And I liked that show, although I had to, you know, turn my head away
- 41:42numerous times in that show because of the gore.
- 41:45I don't really like that.
- 41:47And but, you know, I'm always wondering how we're going to create the end of the world.
- 41:56And part of it is, excuse me, these activities that create war and rumor of war and horror
- 42:03stories everywhere.
- 42:04I told you before, last week, I said, you know, that I don't have any weapons.
- 42:12I don't, I can handle weapons.
- 42:15I served in the military.
- 42:16I'm not afraid of them.
- 42:17I was pretty good with them.
- 42:20But I never truly saw the necessity.
- 42:27You know, I intend to get prepared, you know, for something on the horizon, because God
- 42:37knows where we're going to go.
- 42:39You know, we're just pushing buttons we shouldn't be pushing.
- 42:42And I don't like it.
- 42:46And used to think that we were the good guys.
- 42:49And I haven't believed that for quite a long period of time, which may come through on
- 42:55my show fairly frequently.
- 42:58But we're not the good guys.
- 42:59And we haven't been the good guys for a long time.
- 43:02And that's unfortunate because I think that most Americans really are of the opinion
- 43:09that we should be the good guys.
- 43:12And we're not being the good guys.
- 43:16I want to change topics a little bit because I found this interesting and maybe a little
- 43:21bit on the lighter side.
- 43:23There's an app.
- 43:26Okay, here's an app that requires people living alone.
- 43:33The app is called, and it's gone viral in China.
- 43:37I'm going to share the article with you.
- 43:39And I may download it just to play with it, but I haven't yet.
- 43:43And the article is titled like this, and it's pretty short.
- 43:49You know, it's a short article, so it doesn't go very far.
- 43:53And maybe I should finish about Trump and Greenland first, but I'm not going to.
- 43:58I'm going to interrupt here with this app.
- 44:00And it's called Are You Dead?
- 44:04The app is called Are You Dead?
- 44:06And it's gone viral in China.
- 44:08And it's an app that requires people that live alone to regularly confirm that they
- 44:15are alive, is the top paid download in Apple's app store in China, which underscores the
- 44:23rising social concern driven by the country's rapid demographic shift.
- 44:29The app, known as Si Le Ma in Chinese, translated as Are You Dead?
- 44:36functions as a digital check-in system.
- 44:41The app costs 8 yuan, or about $1.15 to download.
- 44:47It was launched in mid-2025.
- 44:52Downloads surge only in early January, according to Chinese media.
- 44:58Users have to press a button to signal they are safe.
- 45:02And if they fail to do so for two days, two consecutive days, the app automatically sends
- 45:09an alert to a pre-selected emergency contact.
- 45:14So its rise in popularity coincides with two overlapping trends.
- 45:21A growing number of young Chinese that choose to live alone rather than marry and have
- 45:28children.
- 45:29And an expanding elderly population increasingly left isolated without nearby family support.
- 45:39And this is pretty interesting stuff.
- 45:43One of the app's three young co-creators, who identified himself only as Li Yu, told
- 45:52local media it was aimed at young people living alone in major cities, particularly women
- 45:58around the age of 25.
- 46:00Such users are likely to, here's the quote, experience a strong sense of loneliness due
- 46:07to the lack of people to communicate with, accompanied by worries about unforeseen events
- 46:13occurring without anyone knowing.
- 46:16So China recorded its third consecutive year of population decline in 2024.
- 46:24And in 2023, it lost its status as the world's most populous country to India.
- 46:32As fertility dropped, life expectancy lengthened, marriages declined, and divorce rates continued
- 46:40to climb.
- 46:42These factors create a trend of one-person households, said Wei-Jun Yang, a social demography
- 46:51expert at the National University of Singapore.
- 46:55And she was quoted by the Financial Times and added that the concern is real.
- 47:01China could have as many as 200 million one-person households by 2030, with more than 30 percent
- 47:11of the population living alone, according to projections published in 2021 by property
- 47:18research firm Baker Research Institute.
- 47:22And a separate government survey conducted in 2021 found that nearly 60 percent of Chinese
- 47:29aged 60 and above live alone or only with a spouse up about 10 percent from 2010.
- 47:39So I found that rather interesting and wanted to share that, excuse me, and wanted to, excuse
- 47:55me, add that crazy app.
- 48:00Well, it's not crazy.
- 48:01I mean, perhaps, you know, I've thought about that quite a bit over here because, you know,
- 48:07especially if you live alone, you know, what could you do?
- 48:09Maybe it's something that should be used over here.
- 48:12And it's, what was it called?
- 48:13Si Le Ma?
- 48:14Si, here, what's the name of it so I can share it with you?
- 48:18Si Le Ma.
- 48:19S-I-L-E-M-A.
- 48:22Three separate words.
- 48:23Si Le Ma.
- 48:24And I don't even know if I'm pronouncing that right.
- 48:25Obviously, it's Chinese.
- 48:27But that is an app for you to download so you can report every couple of days that you're
- 48:38alive.
- 48:38You know, you have to press that, press that button every day.
- 48:44I wanted to, this is going back to Greenland for a second just because this is nuts.
- 48:54When U.S. President Trump returned to the topic of Greenland, one that was basically
- 49:00forgotten even a month ago, part of me wonders if it's just a distraction to focus people
- 49:09away from the idiocy of Venezuela.
- 49:13But unfortunately, I believe that he's dead serious about all these things, that he is
- 49:20a militaristic president, that he is absolutely serious about all these things.
- 49:27All of those things I shared with you from the Jansen video and commentary are true.
- 49:34You can choose to believe different conclusions from those truths, but each one of those are
- 49:42actual events that did occur, and they're from the mouth of the person who said them.
- 49:48That senator who said this is lunacy, basically, what we're doing.
- 49:53I'm glad they had the briefing, but they're making no bones about the fact that we're
- 49:58now just going to steal another country's resources.
- 50:02That's absolutely true.
- 50:04I'm going to steal it.
- 50:06I'm going to park the money in an offshore account, and I'm in charge.
- 50:10That's it.
- 50:11I'm in charge.
- 50:13Who needs the Congress to do a budget?
- 50:15Trump has installed himself as the king.
- 50:18Now he gets to have his own budget, just like the king does.
- 50:22Well, this is oil that I stole.
- 50:24Why should I let the country that owns it control it?
- 50:28Why should I let Congress screw it all up?
- 50:31I'm going to take that money, and I'm going to dictate where that money goes.
- 50:35Why?
- 50:36Because I'm Donald Trump.
- 50:38We're going to stick on the topic of his family getting rich off of this, because it's the
- 50:44exact same thing as we bitched about with Burisma and—what's his name?
- 50:53Biden Jr.
- 50:55Well, he wasn't Jr., but Hunter Biden.
- 50:58But let's talk about Greenland for a second.
- 51:02The idea hasn't been considered mere theatrics in Europe, and it's not just about the Maduro
- 51:09effect.
- 51:09Beneath Trump's provocative statements, a clear geopolitical strategy with Rubio and
- 51:16company and, you know, your Lindsey Graham's of the world in the neocon strategy is alive
- 51:24and well, and everybody's in on it.
- 51:27I mean, J.D. Vance, you heard his quote in that cut that I played for you, that, yeah,
- 51:33well, you know, well, we've stolen these—and they don't claim it to be stolen, but you
- 51:39control the oil, and you think that oil is going to change.
- 51:43China, it's not.
- 51:45You know, the graph of what they're—and the pipelines coming straight from Russia to
- 51:50China that are enhanced, and the second one that's going to go through—which one?
- 51:56Mongolia is underway even now, and they have these huge pipelines that are going through,
- 52:03and the crude coming from Russia is far more important to them than the 2 percent of their
- 52:09input that they were getting from Venezuela.
- 52:12And in that commentary that you heard that said that they still control one of the platforms,
- 52:17there's money things that do have to be discussed about all that.
- 52:22So beneath Trump's provocative statements, this geopolitical strategy is now called the
- 52:28new globalism.
- 52:29It's far more economically grounded than the concept of globalization, even U.S.
- 52:35globalization.
- 52:36Trump's new globalism consists of three interconnected components.
- 52:41He wants to reinterpret the Monroe Doctrine.
- 52:44One can wonder if Trump considers the Philippines part of this great America, transform the
- 52:51U.S. into an energy superpower that monopolizes the rules of the game in hydrocarbons, particularly
- 52:57in the region, enhance America's status as an Arctic superpower, a position that the
- 53:04U.S. currently holds only nominally.
- 53:07Trump's actions are logical.
- 53:10Dismantling Nicolas Maduro's regime is crucial for turning Latin America's resources into
- 53:16a source of short-term economic stability in the U.S.
- 53:21This is his entrance ticket into the world of new globalism.
- 53:25America cannot become an energy superpower unless it controls Venezuela and Brazil and
- 53:34Iran's oil resources and eliminates shadow fleets as soon as possible.
- 53:41Similarly, achieving full legal control over Greenland is essential for establishing the
- 53:48U.S. as a superpower in the Arctic.
- 53:51Otherwise, it'll be difficult for the U.S. to maintain competitiveness as an energy superpower
- 53:57after 2030.
- 53:59Now, Trump knows this.
- 54:00He sees all this.
- 54:01He plays the risk board as well.
- 54:04Certainly, an evolutionary path would invoke investing in a costly and prolonged program
- 54:10to revive Alaska.
- 54:12But that would take years, if not decades.
- 54:15Instead, Greenland presents an opportunity to quickly solidify new political and geographic
- 54:21status.
- 54:22So Trump is acting systematically, choosing his next step based on perceived weaknesses
- 54:28of his geopolitical competitors.
- 54:31He believes, apparently, that Europe is sufficiently weak and they're too weak to engage in
- 54:38discussions about Greenland's status.
- 54:40And so he's doing it at a completely different level than he was in the spring of 2025 when
- 54:46he had to back down.
- 54:47He talked about this in a recent conversation with reporters.
- 54:51Do you know what their defense is?
- 54:52Two dogsleds, he said, responding to a question about whether the U.S. has made a political
- 54:58proposal to Greenland or Denmark.
- 55:01He added that, meanwhile, Russian and Chinese destroyers and submarines are all over the
- 55:07place.
- 55:07That's a lie, but he throws it out there anyway.
- 55:11We should also note that when discussing Greenland, Trump directly highlights NATO's inability
- 55:17to protect the island from external threats, even fabricated ones like Russia and China
- 55:24seizing Greenland.
- 55:25Trump's message is clear.
- 55:27He intends to reclaim poorly defended assets or steal poorly defended assets is my take
- 55:36on it.
- 55:37His obsession with the idea of acquiring Greenland also stems from the failure of European leaders
- 55:44to form an even modest coalition of the willing, despite their claims of being ready to take
- 55:51responsibility for Europe's security.
- 55:53A proposed force of 200,000 troops dwindled to just 40,000 in six months, and it's unlikely
- 56:00that the Europeans would be able to gather even that military force.
- 56:04Consequently, any joint initiative by the U.K., Germany, and France are unlikely to
- 56:10impress Trump.
- 56:11They aren't going to do anything anyway, though they're too weak and spread out.
- 56:15The realization of their own military weakness deeply unsettles the Europeans.
- 56:21Major countries in Europe might be willing to sacrifice Greenland, but if Trump succeeds,
- 56:27these nations will essentially become his resource, and they'll lose their political
- 56:34voice even within NATO, which was once regarded as a union of equal democracies.
- 56:40Well, they're not anymore.
- 56:41Now it's the subjugated.
- 56:44Furthermore, should the operation regarding Greenland go through, nothing will stand between
- 56:50Trump and Canada.
- 56:52And you heard in that Cyrus Jansen video about the Canadian foreign minister headed to China.
- 57:00They're going to replace the U.S. as the major trade partner, and they're going to go to
- 57:07China as well.
- 57:09So how can Europe counter America's new globalism?
- 57:14As mentioned above, military options exist only in the rhetoric of European politicians,
- 57:21but that is aimed only at shaping domestic public opinion.
- 57:24But the criticism of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and British media indicate that their
- 57:31strategy is faltering.
- 57:33Political methods remain Europe's only recourse.
- 57:36They can't do anything.
- 57:37But even here, their options are limited.
- 57:41High hopes were pinned on a Euro-Atlantic solidarity and the ability to outnumber Trump,
- 57:47as we have seen with the situation.
- 57:50Ukraine wants to use NATO's consulting mechanisms, but Trump has made it clear that he is going
- 57:57to make any decisions unilaterally and outside of any legal framework.
- 58:03He's just my way or the highway, basically.
- 58:08Still, European leaders might invoke NATO's Article 5 to protect Greenland.
- 58:14If they do take such a step, it would signal the beginning of the end for the NATO bloc.
- 58:20Discussion around Greenland, essentially about the territorial integrity of one of
- 58:25NATO's member states, particularly one of its founding states, will fundamentally undermine
- 58:34the core principle of NATO, which is maintaining the internal geopolitical integrity of the
- 58:41bloc while addressing external threats and removing internal risk.
- 58:46So basically, what's happening is the U.S. is going to unilaterally bust up NATO and
- 58:57its Article 5 won't mean a damn thing because the U.S. just chooses it.
- 59:03So how are we a good partner in NATO?
- 59:09We're not.
- 59:11We're a good dictator, you know, telling people what we will do going forward.
- 59:17We're, well, what you think doesn't matter.
- 59:20There is no alliance.
- 59:23There's only dictatorship.
- 59:27A more productive approach might involve pressuring Trump towards some sort of middle ground when
- 59:34it comes to Greenland, such as establishing an American military and economic protectorate
- 59:39over the island.
- 59:41Despite Trump's statement that he is only interested in outright annexation, this alternative
- 59:47might be feasible under certain conditions.
- 59:50So a lot of people say that Trump is positioning.
- 59:56All he's doing is the art of the deal here.
- 59:59He talks big in an effort to make them take him more seriously.
- 1:00:08And I don't know how I feel about that.
- 1:00:11I mean, well, I do know.
- 1:00:13I feel about that.
- 1:00:14I feel that it's just nonsensical what we are, what Trump is doing up there.
- 1:00:21This is not a we.
- 1:00:22This certainly is not me.
- 1:00:24So consider how Trump handled the situation with Venezuela, for example.
- 1:00:31After expressing readiness for a second phase of conflict, he backtracked and began negotiating
- 1:00:37with acting Venezuelan President, Delsi Rodriguez, once he realized that U.S. economic interests
- 1:00:43could be maintained and the regime will align itself with pro-American and anti-Chinese
- 1:00:50policies.
- 1:00:51A similar scenario could unfold with Greenland.
- 1:00:55And this could happen if European leaders find influential allies within the United
- 1:01:00States and the resources of the U.S. administration are diverted to other crises.
- 1:01:05But one should not underestimate Trump's ability to step back temporarily only to revisit
- 1:01:12the issue when circumstances are more favorable.
- 1:01:14He's done that before.
- 1:01:16This, in fact, it's what he did a year ago.
- 1:01:18Here we are a year later.
- 1:01:20I first heard about the Greenland annexation right after he took office on the 20th.
- 1:01:26We're not even a year in yet.
- 1:01:28We still got a week to go until he's been a year in office.
- 1:01:31And what a difference a year makes, huh?
- 1:01:37It's a lunacy is where we are.
- 1:01:40And I don't know.
- 1:01:45I hate to laugh about it because it's not funny at all.
- 1:01:50But here we go.
- 1:01:54Excuse me a little bit.
- 1:01:56A little bit.
- 1:01:59I want to hit back in the go to some where's this other article I was going to going to
- 1:02:05talk about.
- 1:02:06Oh, here's what I wanted to tell you about how Trump linked investors.
- 1:02:12You know, one of the things you heard about the in that video I played for you from Jansen,
- 1:02:20you heard about how oil companies knew about Venezuela before Congress did.
- 1:02:30To me, that is an unforgivable breach that, hey, you know, we're going to take care of
- 1:02:39this because if you report it to them, we've been bitching and complaining about the Nancy
- 1:02:45Pelosi's of the world having notice of stuff before it happens and making millions in the
- 1:02:53stock market because they get to buy, you know.
- 1:03:01What do you call it now?
- 1:03:03I forget what they call them, puts and calls your your option contracts, and they make
- 1:03:09millions on these option contracts because they know in advance and they knew what was
- 1:03:14going to happen with oil stocks when the US invaded Venezuela and people made a shit
- 1:03:23pot of money off of that and but not the regular American and but they informed the oil companies
- 1:03:31first and so they knew this was coming and they knew they'd see a spike in their values
- 1:03:36and this is what happened.
- 1:03:37So don't go thinking that this isn't about money because this is all about money and
- 1:03:43let's talk about this one that just came out.
- 1:03:48One of Ukraine's largest lithium reserves are going to serve as a test project under
- 1:03:54a minerals deal with the US, said Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.
- 1:04:03So Ukraine has awarded a major state-owned lithium project to American investors linked
- 1:04:10to US President Donald Trump.
- 1:04:14Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko pitched it as the pilot project under last year's minerals
- 1:04:20deal between the US and Ukraine.
- 1:04:24The agreement, which was signed in April, grants the US access to developing Ukraine's
- 1:04:30natural resources in exchange for splitting output under a production sharing contract.
- 1:04:36Half the revenue will go into the joint US-Ukraine reconstruction investment fund with profits
- 1:04:43reinvested in new projects and national reconstruction.
- 1:04:46Trump pitched the deal as a mechanism for Kyiv to repay the billions in US aid provided
- 1:04:52under his predecessor Joe Biden.
- 1:04:55The New York Times reported that developmental rights for the Dobra deposit in Kirovgrad
- 1:05:01region, one of Ukraine's largest lithium reserves, were awarded to US-linked consortium last
- 1:05:08week.
- 1:05:10Sviridenko confirmed the decision in a telegram post on Monday.
- 1:05:15For the first time in Ukraine, a winner for lithium development under the production sharing
- 1:05:20mechanism has been selected, she wrote, saying it was awarded to Dobra Lithium Holdings JV,
- 1:05:28a US consortium whose shareholders include critical minerals company TechMet.
- 1:05:37Sviridenko said the consortium will invest $179 million in the project, including $12
- 1:05:43million for geological exploration and reserve audits, $167 million for extraction and processing
- 1:05:50facilities if commercial viability is confirmed.
- 1:05:54Ukrainian officials told the Wall Street Journal that the deal raises potential conflict of
- 1:06:00interest and noted that TechMet's largest shareholder is the US International Development
- 1:06:08Finance Corporation, the agency that oversees the Ukrainian reinvestment fund.
- 1:06:15The Wall Street Journal reported that Ronald Lauder, longtime Trump ally and Republican
- 1:06:22donor, is part of the consortium.
- 1:06:25Although Sviridenko did not confirm his participation, she insisted the consortium was
- 1:06:31selected through competitive tender of domestic and foreign bidders and described the project
- 1:06:38as a catalyst for further Western investment.
- 1:06:41Russia condemns the minerals deal.
- 1:06:44Former Russian President and Deputy Chair of Security Council Dmitry Medvedev mocked
- 1:06:50it as a forced extraction of a disappearing country's wealth.
- 1:06:55Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called it a commercial scheme to sell aid and argued
- 1:07:01against further support for Kiev's war effort as it only serves to prolong the conflict.
- 1:07:08Russian officials and experts note that much of Ukraine's mineral wealth lies in regions
- 1:07:14that have joined Russia following their referendum in 2022 or are near front lines.
- 1:07:22Russia has already taken most of the areas that have the most strategic and useful
- 1:07:38underground high value resources.
- 1:07:43Here's something very interesting and less warlike to share with you.
- 1:07:52An Abyssinian cat from Russia named Darlene Fleur D'Amour Black was crowned the most beautiful
- 1:08:04cat in the world by the World Cat Federation on Monday.
- 1:08:10With a score of over 19,700 points, Darlene outshone nearly 1,500 other cat competitors
- 1:08:22from around the globe.
- 1:08:25Second place went to a fluffy cat from Thailand, a Scottish longhair called Melody Charm Peshark.
- 1:08:35The British short-haired named Moki Tar-Len Luxury from Belarus took third place in the
- 1:08:43competition.
- 1:08:44According to media reports, the champion was born on June 15, 2024 and belongs to the Russian
- 1:08:53Luxury Club, Russkiy Klub Lux.
- 1:08:58The top 10 best cats included four more Russian cats and one from Belarus.
- 1:09:07And the WCF World Cat Federation was founded in 1988 in Petropolis near Rio de Janeiro.
- 1:09:17Today, 280 organizations around the world, cat organizations around the world, the Federation
- 1:09:26actively participates in the development of international cooperation between clubs and
- 1:09:34in shaping cat animal welfare standards.
- 1:09:39Very nice.
- 1:09:41Very nice.
- 1:09:43And I wonder how old this article is.
- 1:09:45I was going to share it with you.
- 1:09:47Yeah, this one's too old.
- 1:09:48It's about six months old, in fact, about cats.
- 1:09:53Because Russia's population of Amur tigers, also known as Siberian tigers, is no longer
- 1:10:01under the threat of extinction as of July of this year.
- 1:10:06There was a foundation, the Amur Tiger Center, announced last July that while the foundation
- 1:10:16was launched in 2013 by Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who is a longtime supporter of protecting
- 1:10:24the endangered Siberian tiger.
- 1:10:27And over the past 13 years, these conservation efforts have raised the number of big cats
- 1:10:33in Russia's Far East from 430 to 750, according to one of the founders, Konstantin Choychenko.
- 1:10:45The goal set out in the National Tiger, also a cat, by the way, conservative strategy has
- 1:10:53been achieved, he told reporters, at the Land of Big Cats exhibition in Moscow.
- 1:11:00Choychenko encouraged the public to visit the Far East to see the animals in their natural
- 1:11:05habitat.
- 1:11:06I don't want to get eaten.
- 1:11:09And so that's a kind of a bad deal for me.
- 1:11:11The Amur tiger is native to the forests of Russia's Far East and Northeast China.
- 1:11:18It is the world's largest cat subspecies and the only one adapted to cold and snowy
- 1:11:24climates.
- 1:11:25Despite progress in Russia, the Amur tiger remains classified as endangered by the International
- 1:11:32Union for Conservation of Nature, meaning it still faces a high risk of extinction globally.
- 1:11:38A formal status change will require further international assessment.
- 1:11:43Russia's 750 Amur tigers live in protected areas in remote forests, several hundred more
- 1:11:49kept in zoos and wildlife parks around the globe.
- 1:11:55So there you have it.
- 1:11:58I already told you about the cat.
- 1:12:00I was hoping for something more exciting.
- 1:12:04Something more exciting.
- 1:12:06I don't want to go back to war.
- 1:12:08I've been having a good time talking about cats.
- 1:12:13I want a cat, by the way.
- 1:12:15I'm looking for a kitten, even of my own.
- 1:12:20And I had a friend tell me about a part of cats that somebody, I forget what it was called.
- 1:12:31She sent me a text.
- 1:12:32I'll have to have a look at it and find out where I can get a cat.
- 1:12:35I need somebody somewhat independent.
- 1:12:39I need a cat.
- 1:12:41And, you know, that I don't have to hang out with all the trouble with the dog.
- 1:12:45And I like dogs, too.
- 1:12:47But I am beyond, you know, having to care.
- 1:12:52I need a more independent cat is what I need.
- 1:12:56So I am in the market, as it were, to find a cat.
- 1:13:03Do we want to go back to the war effort or do we not?
- 1:13:13I wanted to share with you.
- 1:13:15I really did want to share this article about Russian military progress.
- 1:13:28Russia, the article is called Russia is turning its military into a high tech arsenal.
- 1:13:36And here's what's next.
- 1:13:38And Russia really is.
- 1:13:40I keep track of military hardware and military arsenals, especially in the
- 1:13:48far east and in Russia.
- 1:13:50I keep track of it because I believe, especially with their hypersonics and some of their
- 1:13:57laser technologies that they are employing, that they are surpassing what we have been
- 1:14:05doing lately.
- 1:14:06Now, perhaps I am not as well informed about what's going on in the U.S.
- 1:14:13That is possible.
- 1:14:17Let's see.
- 1:14:18But I think I have time to share this article with you, although I was kind of hoping to
- 1:14:26keep it a little more light hearted.
- 1:14:29There is a story about the Antichrist that we might get used to.
- 1:14:36Constantinople's Antichrist and British spooks are trying to split Orthodox Christianity according
- 1:14:43to Russian intel.
- 1:14:46And this is an interesting article about the Antichrist.
- 1:14:53The Orthodox patriarch of Constantinople is collaborating with British spy agencies to
- 1:15:01increase division and establish schismatic church structures in the Baltic, said Russia's
- 1:15:08foreign intelligence service on Monday and described Bartholomew the first as the Antichrist.
- 1:15:17Bartholomew created a spiritual schism in Ukraine when he granted self-rule to the Orthodox
- 1:15:24Church of Ukraine, created by then Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko in 2018, which
- 1:15:33ended centuries of continuity through the now persecuted Ukrainian Orthodox Church,
- 1:15:40which was historically associated with the Moscow Patriarchate.
- 1:15:45So now Patriarch Bartholomew has turned his evil eye toward the Baltics, where he is obsessed
- 1:15:53with, again, displacing the Russian Orthodox Church and substituting it with structures
- 1:16:00under Constantinople control.
- 1:16:04The SVR said in a press release, Bartholomew is supported by the British Secret Service
- 1:16:13and by Baltic ideological allies representing local nationalists and neo-Nazis in his goals
- 1:16:20of splitting off Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian Orthodox churches from the Moscow
- 1:16:26Patriarchate, the Russian spy agency has proclaimed.
- 1:16:32In Eastern Europe, Bartholomew aims to undermine the especially obstinate autonomous Serbian
- 1:16:41Orthodox Church.
- 1:16:43It added, he aims to lure away priests and congregations into puppet religious structures
- 1:16:51that have been artificially created by Constantinople, according to the SVR.
- 1:16:59So there are fights going on in religion big time these days.
- 1:17:04Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania have pushed their largest Orthodox churches to cut
- 1:17:09historic spiritual ties with Moscow, the Moscow Patriarchate, after the escalation
- 1:17:15of Ukraine in 2022.
- 1:17:17And Bartholomew has moved to establish an exarchate in Lithuania under his control as
- 1:17:25a parallel structure to the Diocese of Vilnius and Lithuania.
- 1:17:29The Russian Orthodox Church and the Constantinople Patriarchate have been at odds since 2018,
- 1:17:36and the Moscow Patriarchate regarded the decision to grant autonomy to the Orthodox Church of
- 1:17:43Ukraine as an encroachment on its canonical territory of formerly broke and formally broke
- 1:17:51communion with Constantinople.
- 1:17:54Isn't this crazy?
- 1:17:55Churches are being disrupted.
- 1:17:57It's because of, you know, war.
- 1:18:00They are terrible, terrible things are occurring all over the world.
- 1:18:08And I really don't have time to share this military high-tech arsenal with you because
- 1:18:14it's a very long story.
- 1:18:16And it, you know, talks about rewriting the rules of war, fifth generation aircraft, the
- 1:18:25Su-75, the, you know, the Su-57 was coming out, but now the Su-75 checkmate is expected
- 1:18:32in 2026.
- 1:18:34Mock-up first unveiled at the MAX air show in August 2021.
- 1:18:37I can't wait to see this plane and replacing the MiG-29 in the global market.
- 1:18:43And let's see, their strategic underwater deterrence, Project 09851 Khabarovsk, the new
- 1:18:51project, a nuclear-powered submarine, you know, is also supposed to have sea trials
- 1:18:57in 2026.
- 1:18:59Next generation intercontinental missiles replacing the Topol-M that is supposed to
- 1:19:06come out this year.
- 1:19:07New ballistics, the Sarmat, the flagship of the Russian nuclear forces, liquid-fueled
- 1:19:12Sarmat ICBMs.
- 1:19:14I've talked to you about them before.
- 1:19:16The hypersonic strikes at sea, the Zircon and Yasen-M fleets that are coming out in
- 1:19:212026.
- 1:19:23The Admiral Nakhimov has been restored and it's almost done in its heavy surface combat
- 1:19:29power.
- 1:19:302026, the heavy nuclear-powered missile cruiser, Admiral Nakhimov will continue sea trials
- 1:19:36and will probably complete them.
- 1:19:38And it'll be able to launch Zircon hypersonics.
- 1:19:42And once it's fully operational, it's the world's most powerful warship.
- 1:19:48That'd be crazy in, well, certainly in the Russian Navy, and one of the most heavily
- 1:19:53armed surface combatants in the world.
- 1:19:56Strategic air and missile defense, the S-500 Prometheus is coming out in 2026.
- 1:20:03Countering drone threats, the FPV interceptors and AI systems that they're already using
- 1:20:09with lasers that are taking them out.
- 1:20:11You ought to see some of these.
- 1:20:12It's unbelievable.
- 1:20:13Ground robotics and the rise of unmanned formations.
- 1:20:17They're taking military stuff with ground robots, ground robotics.
- 1:20:22Modern artillery for ground forces that's coming out.
- 1:20:26That's the Koalitsiya SV 150, 152-millimeter self-propelled howitzers, now unmanned and
- 1:20:35on a wheeled chassis.
- 1:20:37So the outlook, when you take all of this together, the developments that are expected
- 1:20:44through 2026 are far more than incremental upgrades.
- 1:20:48This is a total evolution of Russia's armed forces across all the domains.
- 1:20:54And strategic missiles, nuclear-powered submarines, advanced air defense combat, aircraft unmanned
- 1:20:59systems, emphasis on survivability, automation, operational versatility.
- 1:21:05So these systems, they're not theoretical.
- 1:21:08They're not experimental.
- 1:21:10They are ready to be integrated into units in 2026, and they will reshape Russia's strategic
- 1:21:18naval air and ground forces capabilities in 2026.
- 1:21:23And they've been modernizing, and I believe, at a much quicker rate than we have been modernizing
- 1:21:30in the United States.
- 1:21:32And I think that's important to note that what we have been doing, or lack thereof,
- 1:21:40of what we have been doing, trying to keep pace.
- 1:21:46I did want to share, we talked a little bit about it, but we didn't go far enough in.
- 1:21:53I'm going to share a final.
- 1:21:57We did talk some about it, and I meant to share.
- 1:22:00It'd be nice to have the text of this whole text of the article itself, or of the bill
- 1:22:12itself, the Greenland annexation bill.
- 1:22:16So the bill that seeks to make Greenland the 51st U.S. state, you just, well, it doesn't
- 1:22:23matter, we'll take it over.
- 1:22:26We decide here whether or not Greenland is a state or not.
- 1:22:31Greenland has no choice.
- 1:22:34That's the funny part.
- 1:22:35Greenland, eh, you don't have a choice in it.
- 1:22:38And we're the U.S., so here you go.
- 1:22:41So the bill seeking to make Greenland the 51st state has been introduced in the House
- 1:22:48of Representatives, and it escalates controversial push by Trump to bring the Danish territory
- 1:22:56under American control.
- 1:22:58And he claimed that week that the U.S. must annex Greenland.
- 1:23:05We must.
- 1:23:06It's an autonomous former Danish colony under Copenhagen sovereignty to contain Russia and
- 1:23:15China, he says, suggesting that the two countries will take over the island.
- 1:23:21Where did this come from?
- 1:23:24Why are Russia and China suddenly guilty of taking over Greenland?
- 1:23:28Nobody's heard anything about this, and yet now it's just taken as a given, right?
- 1:23:34So the Greenland Annexation and Statehood Act introduced by Randy Fine of Florida Monday
- 1:23:40would authorize the president to take whatever steps are necessary to annex or acquire Greenland
- 1:23:46and mandates a report to Congress outlining the steps required for eventual admission
- 1:23:52as a U.S. state.
- 1:23:54This is nuts.
- 1:23:55Greenland is not a distant outpost.
- 1:23:58We can afford to ignore.
- 1:23:59It's a vital national security asset.
- 1:24:03It's not our asset, Fine said in a press release.
- 1:24:08He said whoever controls Greenland controls key Arctic shipping lanes and the security
- 1:24:14architecture that protects the United States.
- 1:24:17If we do this, we're bums.
- 1:24:21That's what we are.
- 1:24:22If we do this, we're just a bunch of bums.
- 1:24:23White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt told journalists Monday that acquiring Greenland
- 1:24:29remains a priority for Trump, although she said there is no specific timeline for action.
- 1:24:36Following recent U.S. intervention in Venezuela, media reports indicate Trump has ordered military
- 1:24:42commanders to develop a plan for a potential invasion of Greenland.
- 1:24:48We're nuts.
- 1:24:49The legislation's fate in Congress remains uncertain as the prospect of forceful acquisition
- 1:24:55has drawn criticism even from within U.S. political establishment.
- 1:25:00The Republican Senator Rand Paul notes that the plan will likely backfire, while Democrat
- 1:25:06Senator Chris Murphy warns that attempting to take Greenland by force effectively would
- 1:25:13end NATO.
- 1:25:14I agree with that.
- 1:25:15Denmark maintains that Greenland will not be sold or ceded.
- 1:25:21Denmark Ambassador to the U.S. Jasper Morel Sorensen insists that the island's future
- 1:25:29should be decided by its own people, the vast majority of whom voted in 2008 to maintaining
- 1:25:37self-governing status within the kingdom.
- 1:25:40Beijing criticizes Trump's attempt to use China and Russia as pretexts for a deeper
- 1:25:46push in the region, where seven of the eight Arctic nations are NATO members.
- 1:25:52It's nuts.
- 1:25:54Russian officials also speak out against a militarization of the Arctic, framing it instead
- 1:26:00as a zone for peaceful cooperation, while Moscow has yet to officially respond to Trump's
- 1:26:05latest remarks.
- 1:26:07It is previously stressed that Greenland's future must be determined by its citizens.
- 1:26:12I say that the notable lack of escalation by Russia should be seen as a good thing.
- 1:26:25And part of me wonders if it's a bit of a, we'll leave you alone in Ukraine as long as
- 1:26:34you leave us alone in the Western Hemisphere, or if it's because Russia is just too busy
- 1:26:40with Ukraine right now and doesn't want to be harassed.
- 1:26:45But I'm not so sure that Russia would be so quiet if Iran gears up, if more things happen
- 1:26:53about this alleged reports of the 800 billion to go into Ukraine actually come to fruition
- 1:27:01in the United States, this 800 billion that's allegedly going that route.
- 1:27:07Those are the things that we're going to be keeping an eye on here at International Flavor
- 1:27:12on the international level over the next couple of weeks.
- 1:27:19I truly do intend to get more local for the next couple of days with some things to talk

- 1:27:38That's not going to happen.
- 1:27:40Or, you know, influence my activities.
- 1:27:44That's also not going to happen.
