- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I know now that you are in a good situation for your needs and desires when it comes to a relationship.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Oh, very fulfilled, yes, yes, yes.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: But let's be real, there was a period of time where, you know, uh the questions would start rolling through your head going, uh, I don't know, man.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Is there anybody out there?
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, yeah.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: And I I did all of the dating.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: I did Tinder and Hinge and Bumblebee.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: You didn't do this, but unfortunately, the timing for this didn't quite coincide uh to your lifestyle at that point.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: So you've recently got into infrared saunas.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I love them and I'm obsessed with them.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: I was at one, I was in one on Monday.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: I I myself still need the steamy sauna.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Oh, you're gonna sweat.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: You're gonna sweat.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: I understand.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: There's just something about it.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Like, I I've sat in a sauna with my uh old buddy uh uh Rick when we used to uh go to uh healthworks on the regular towel.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: And uh yeah, and uh it was a good steamer, you know.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: After you had to work, you know, like let's get the toxins out all the way.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Uh and um uh it I just in my head need more than that.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: But the infrared thing, that's big, right?
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: What do you think about sauna dating?
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: And I want you to I want you to really take this in.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, I'm so sweaty in a sauna.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Wait, but they uh there's this thing going on now.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, saunas are having a moment.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Sauna owners across the uh west of England have said that uh dating in saunas is on the rise as some head to the heated rooms for a first date.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: While Why a first date?
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Why do you want to sweat that much on a first date?
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: You just get a lot out of the way because you're wearing next to nothing too.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna find a lot out about that person on date number one.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: And you don't necessarily have to do anything in the sauna other than br!
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: That's too much of a risk because if you find me attractive and stuff happens down below, and all of a sudden it's like a a tent in the sauna, then I it's too sexually forward on a first date, is what I think.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: You're really not getting to know the real me, you're just thinking, what's under that towel?
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Maybe there's something that happens with the heat in the sauna too that just does anyway.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Clears your brain.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Jake Rocking, uh, who runs the new sauna in Weston Marine Lake in uh North Somerset, said that sauna is the new pub.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Interesting.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: Other sauna owners are considering uh speed dating available.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Wow, speed dating.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: You get in and out of that sauna in one minute.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: I I'd like an actual date in the sauna.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: I would love to take my guy into the sauna, but now we know each other.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: It's a little different.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't want to do it right on the first date.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: I just that there's a lot of, yeah, that's I'm I'm way too private of a person.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: A lot of skin on a first date.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: A lot of skin on a first date.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Um I'm not gonna go, I'm not gonna say on Tinder, hey, you want to go to the pool, West Elmyra pool, let's say it was summertime.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Do you want to go to the West Elmyra pool on the first date?
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Oh now, see, that's not a terrible idea.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not showing you that much skin on a first date.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Well, I understand that too, but I'm just saying that's a little more practical.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: The sauna thing, you're getting me uh in a robe.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Uh wait, a full robe?
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Well, that's really hot.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: How do you walk into a sauna?
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Because doesn't the robe come off like on TV?
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Don't you walk into the sauna with the robe and then the robe comes off?
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: That is either you're sitting there in skivvies or naked.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Naked.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: I you are absolutely correct.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: That is exactly how I walk in.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: I either have a towel around me or have my robe and disrobe.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this is not gonna be for everyone.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: No, this is for people who are looking for a good time.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: I don't you're right.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: This is like Tinder, sauna.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Sauna Tinder.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Yes, right, right, right.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: This is this is just for fun.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Probably a hookup.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: You're in your twenties.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: I don't get me wrong.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: Well, you don't have to be in your 20s.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Don't don't don't don't get me wrong.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: I don't have a problem seeing you sweat a little bit.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, at least I know that you'll put some effort in down the line.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: But yeah, there's wait, we'll put some effort in.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: What does that mean?
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Whatever the case may be.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Either uh help them uh around the house, you know, with yard work mowing the lawn, or uh, I don't know, you're really putting the effort in somewhere else, if you know what I mean.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: I either I misinterpreted that by the way.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: That's all right.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: Two, one.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: You're listening to Scott and Allie.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Scott and Allie's big three.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Anybody, I'm just curious, would anybody be daring enough?
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: I mean, what the hell?
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Allie likes to put together events on the fly.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: I'm sure in three weeks we could put together a sauna speed dating.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: No, no.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Would anybody just text us?
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Would you be in or not?
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: And I'm curious, because I can see whether you're male or female.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna bet.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna bet more of the girls that say yes.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay, yeah.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Get on that app, use the notepad or the microphone and tell us yes.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: I would absolutely be in a robe and a hot, hot room.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: And if I get at least 10 texts of people saying they'll do it, I'll drive uh everyone in the building nuts and make Allie put it together for three weeks.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: That's actually not a bad idea because I'm thinking about like when I go to Alice in Aesthetics to get a sauna, we just put one girl in there or guy.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Well, you have to tell me if you're into girls or guys.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Anyway, and then we could just leave them in there and then okay, the you're gonna have to do some level of supervision.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: But like you're in for 10 minutes and then then you open the door and you come out.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: Both of them or the person that that has to stay in there for the next speed dating round is like dying.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: No, you I can I can sit in there for a good 45 minutes.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, oh, I love to sweat it out.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Anyway, big three brought to you by ENV Energy.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Fuel fuel oil, kerosene, and propane are their thing.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: If you want to heat your home, business, or farm, do it with ENV Energy.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: This is the most suspicious story I got.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I'm starting out hot and heavy.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Gypsy Rose's fiance dead.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: So Gypsy Rose, she was the girl.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you remember this, but she was the girl that she um it was behind bars for killing her mother.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Her mother was the one, and there was a whole like docuseries about this on Hulu.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Maybe on Netflix too.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: But anyway, she was the one.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Her mom had basically um for I don't want to say forced her in a w in a wheelchair, but what is it called when you have somebody who's an adult and they medically um make you believe that you're sick.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, I don't know the name of it, but I know that yeah, there is Okay, so this is what Gypsy Rose lived with her whole life.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Her mother made her believe she was sick her whole life.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: And and she was.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: And she wasn't.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: Then she realized it later on and then kills her mom.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: She gets behind bars, but now Gypsy Rose's fianc.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: So after she gets out of jail, Gypsy Rose, now her fiance is dead.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: Why you never can be a juror.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: I could not be a juror.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Something is something is very suspicious about this.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Yes, I'll give you that.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: Okay, and then I have two other cookies.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: The family of Renee Good, who was fatally shot by an ICE agent during the Trump administration's immigration crackdown in Minneapolis, filed a pair of federal lawsuits yesterday against the officer who killed her and some high-ranking government officials.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: And if you tried to get these yesterday, I don't know if you had the the luck for it.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Caitlin Clark's new signature Nike shoe sold out within two hours of its debut yesterday.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: This has been happening with the WNBA players.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: They've just been I mean, these shoes are are flying.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: They're not the big three.
