- 1:01Speaker 1: and welcome to Juicy Scoop. For an end-of-the-year delight, I
- 1:06Speaker 1: have Brad Wallach, good friend for many, many years, Chelsea Lately, writer, producer,
- 1:12Speaker 1: stand-up dad of two. Mary Delight, how are you?
- 1:17Speaker 3: I'm fine, thank you. I don't get, you know, Chris.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Mary to a woman, just I want to make every
- 1:22Speaker 1: shit for her. Just in case people, sometimes people are surprised.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Like you were when you first met me.
- 1:30Speaker 4: No, it was funny. We were doing a show called Nightcap.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Producing it, and it was a great show. And we
- 1:39Speaker 3: had Barbara Corcoran on it.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Corcoran? Corcoran from Shark Tank, yeah.
- 1:43Speaker 4: From Shark Tank. And she comes on set, sees me.
- 1:47Speaker 4: I don't even say anything.
- 1:48Speaker 1: And she goes, oh, a gay producer. I'm like, not really,
- 1:53Speaker 1: but welcome. And she's like, oh, come on. And I'm like, okay, sure.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Just went along for the two days.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but this was obviously before the whole whatever, you
- 2:05Speaker 3: couldn't say that.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Now she would be canceled.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I still don't think she would. I think as long
- 2:11Speaker 1: as it's that way... And it's obviously not going to
- 2:14Speaker 1: bother you. No, I wasn't. So then, you know, but
- 2:17Speaker 1: here she thought she was being, you know, she thought
- 2:20Speaker 1: going that extra mile was going to make her look
- 2:23Speaker 1: more inclusive. I guess.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 2:26Speaker 1: It was so weird. I was like, oh, well, okay.
- 2:30Speaker 1: It's the dressing. If you are a dapper dresser, which
- 2:33Speaker 1: you have always been, and then you're in this industry-
- 2:38Speaker 1: It's like, what are the odds that you're a good
- 2:40Speaker 1: dresser in the industry? In the industry. And straight.
- 2:44Speaker 3: And a little, yeah, and a little weak Jew, you know,
- 2:48Speaker 3: kind of like, I don't want to say effeminate, but,
- 2:51Speaker 3: you know.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I get it. I told the story already, but I
- 2:53Speaker 1: thought you would just appreciate it, that we were at
- 2:56Speaker 1: an event and Peter was mistaken as the gay host's husband.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Oh, I thought you were going to say he was
- 3:01Speaker 3: mistaken as a Jew, and he went along with it.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I was going to say, thank you, Heather. Yes, because
- 3:09Speaker 1: he's part of some group. So it was a gay host,
- 3:13Speaker 1: and they thought Peter was the husband? And Peter was
- 3:15Speaker 1: talking to him. So then later on, the woman was like,
- 3:18Speaker 1: how long have you been friends? And I joked, and
- 3:21Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, 23 years, we're actually married. And she's like, oh,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I thought he was the host's husband. Oh, that's funny.
- 3:28Speaker 1: What vibe was she reading? He had a blazer on.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Well, that's the dead giveaway.
- 3:36Speaker 3: We all know when you come out, you put on
- 3:38Speaker 3: that blazer. It's just like the Masters Golf Tournament. They
- 3:41Speaker 3: put on a green blazer. You put on a pink
- 3:43Speaker 3: or rainbow blazer.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You're like, I'm out. I was so excited. He's part
- 3:46Speaker 1: of this. He's getting these clothes sent to him. kind
- 3:50Speaker 1: of like a Rent the Runway for Guys or something.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, he told me about that.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Honestly, it's so great. Chris Frangiola is, like, interested. That's
- 3:57Speaker 1: how good it is. Really? And he's a dapper dresser.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Chris Frangiola?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he's like, maybe I want to know. I'm like, yeah,
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's like, you get it, and then he keeps what
- 4:05Speaker 1: he wants, and the rest he gives, and it's a
- 4:07Speaker 1: monthly fee. And if you don't keep anything, it still
- 4:11Speaker 1: stays as a monthly rental fee, but usually he keeps
- 4:14Speaker 1: a number of it.
- 4:14Speaker 3: But then do they send those clothes, the ones you
- 4:17Speaker 3: send back? Do they send those out to other people, though?
- 4:21Speaker 3: That's my only thing. It's like I don't want to
- 4:22Speaker 3: be the person on the receiving end of someone else.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I don't really know.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Your husband's great. I don't want to be wearing the
- 4:28Speaker 3: clothes that he was wearing.
- 4:30Speaker 1: He usually buys like half of them. Like, especially the
- 4:33Speaker 1: pants and stuff. So then you get charged for that. And,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you know, I don't know. And then there's some stuff
- 4:38Speaker 1: that just is wrong and doesn't fit. So then I
- 4:41Speaker 1: think he doesn't. I don't know. Is it always new
- 4:43Speaker 1: when it comes? I don't know how well it would
- 4:46Speaker 1: work for me because I'm just not good about, like,
- 4:48Speaker 1: returning stuff and all of that. This sounds like the
- 4:51Speaker 1: old Netflix, basically. Yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 4: It sends it to you. You keep it for as
- 4:54Speaker 4: long as you want. You send it back. They send
- 4:56Speaker 4: you more, blah, blah, blah.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 4: You know, that's it.
- 4:58Speaker 1: It's like a library for clothes. It makes a lot
- 5:02Speaker 1: of sense. It does. Especially for men.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Who are just like, whatever.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It was all.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Anyway, Peter's gay. Okay.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yeah, totally. Can't wait. All right, let's talk about some
- 5:12Speaker 1: things and some topics. There is a new documentary out
- 5:16Speaker 1: about what a nightmare Brooklyn Beckham's wife is. Literally, that's
- 5:20Speaker 1: what it says in your post. Brooklyn Beckham's wife, Nicola Peltz,
- 5:25Speaker 1: who I guess comes from an extremely wealthy family, painted
- 5:28Speaker 1: as a nightmare bride in this new documentary. So they
- 5:32Speaker 1: had this big, super fancy wedding. And I remember hearing
- 5:34Speaker 1: about this. It's the Pelts Beckhams versus the Planners. So...
- 5:40Speaker 1: I guess they never revealed to Victoria Beckham that they
- 5:43Speaker 1: were having all this trouble. They had one planner. First started,
- 5:46Speaker 1: they had one planner who then– the documentary first shares
- 5:50Speaker 1: over a 12-hour period. Oh, my God. We have to
- 5:53Speaker 1: watch this documentary for 12 hours? Is this the new one?
- 5:56Speaker 1: All about a wedding?
- 5:57Speaker 3: This is not– I heard the other Beckham one is
- 6:00Speaker 3: really good.
- 6:01Speaker 1: You know what I found? So many of these things
- 6:03Speaker 1: I start to watch and I just don't get through them.
- 6:07Speaker 1: But like the second or the third episode, I'm kind
- 6:10Speaker 1: of like, do I care? Or I just like Wikipedia
- 6:14Speaker 1: and I'm like, what's the end? Like, did this guy
- 6:17Speaker 1: go to prison or not? Like, it's just too much.
- 6:19Speaker 4: I just, I don't, I'm the same way. I just
- 6:21Speaker 4: don't have the time.
- 6:22Speaker 3: There's nothing good enough out there for me to get
- 6:24Speaker 3: invested in. I just, I, this business has just gotten
- 6:28Speaker 3: so horrible.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Tell me how awful Hollywood's gotten for everybody. Wait, first
- 6:33Speaker 1: let me finish this story. So just suddenly- Okay, so
- 6:35Speaker 1: she's an heiress. She's an actress. I don't know if
- 6:37Speaker 1: she's been in. So the documentary was shared over a
- 6:41Speaker 1: 12-hour period. 258 text messages, which were exchanged in a
- 6:45Speaker 1: group chat with the wedding planners. And the evidence painted
- 6:48Speaker 1: Nicola the bride as a nightmare bride who was allegedly
- 6:50Speaker 1: too focused on a star-studded guest list and brought total
- 6:53Speaker 1: carnage to the wedding planning, according to an expert commentary
- 6:57Speaker 1: in the documentary. And this Preston Bailey, who's a famed
- 7:01Speaker 1: wedding planner– he sounds strange. No, I don't know. I
- 7:04Speaker 1: don't know. In the documentary– Let me see.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Yeah, Kristen Bailey.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Yeah, decided to quit the job six weeks before the wedding,
- 7:14Speaker 1: citing overcommitment. Then, planned design events, they came in to
- 7:18Speaker 1: replace him, and they're facing a countersuit, which they were
- 7:23Speaker 1: called the billionaire bully. So they're all part of this lawsuit,
- 7:28Speaker 1: because I guess they charged too much. Anyway, said she
- 7:32Speaker 1: was obsessed with celebrity status of the Beckham family, frequently
- 7:36Speaker 1: changing the guest list, all this stuff.
- 7:39Speaker 3: So basically because she was a nightmare, they charged more,
- 7:42Speaker 3: and now they're basically sued.
- 7:45Speaker 1: In a lawsuit, and the dad's like, this is bullshit.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Why even bother? I mean, obviously you have so much money.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Just let it go.
- 7:55Speaker 1: No, and this is like the first thing. I'm just
- 7:57Speaker 1: thinking what the comments might have been under this. Oh,
- 7:59Speaker 1: my God. Who would ever spend that much on a
- 8:01Speaker 1: wedding when you could feed so many children? Yeah. Because
- 8:04Speaker 1: that's exactly what they would have done with the money. Yeah, exactly.
- 8:06Speaker 3: They were like, we're going to send this on a
- 8:09Speaker 3: cargo plane to Africa or we can have your wedding.
- 8:12Speaker 1: What do you want?
- 8:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:14Speaker 4: No, of course she's a nightmare.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I mean, she's probably, yes, it's a very wealthy family.
- 8:19Speaker 4: She has access to everything.
- 8:20Speaker 3: By the way, 258 text messages in this day and
- 8:23Speaker 3: age with a wedding planner when you're planning a big wedding.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It doesn't seem that outrageous, does it? No, I mean,
- 8:30Speaker 1: there's a lot to plan. I mean, there is security.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I mean, this is a star-studded wedding. Yeah. So with
- 8:35Speaker 1: each big star is going to come a special protocol,
- 8:39Speaker 1: just like you're doing the Oscars, you know? Yeah, or
- 8:41Speaker 1: a royal wedding.
- 8:42Speaker 3: I mean, this is, you know, there's kind of elements
- 8:45Speaker 3: of that.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Like, sometimes I think about that when I would watch
- 8:47Speaker 1: the Oscars. Like, because now I know how red carpets work,
- 8:52Speaker 1: but it always seemed like the car was pulling up
- 8:55Speaker 1: right as they were getting out. Yeah. And I was like,
- 8:58Speaker 1: how do they know how which car could go at
- 9:00Speaker 1: which time so that you come at the right time?
- 9:03Speaker 3: Are you talking about when they're exiting the Oscars?
- 9:05Speaker 1: No, when they're like about to do the red carpet.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It's always like, how do they work it out? Isn't
- 9:10Speaker 1: there like a traffic jam? Yes, there's a whole timing.
- 9:12Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. So it's a whole thing. So
- 9:13Speaker 1: that takes hundreds of people. To figure out who's talking
- 9:18Speaker 1: to the star's assistant of the PR person of the–
- 9:22Speaker 1: and that's what this wedding would have been like though.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm thinking this has to have been a lot of
- 9:28Speaker 1: planning and then in order to get the star there,
- 9:31Speaker 1: you also might have been like we're providing them with–
- 9:34Speaker 1: we reserve the penthouse for them because we want to
- 9:36Speaker 1: make sure Tom Cruise comes or whatever. Right. If you
- 9:39Speaker 1: really are placating to like the stars, then there's that
- 9:42Speaker 1: whole other element.
- 9:43Speaker 3: You have to have a place where they can land
- 9:45Speaker 3: their helicopters.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 9:47Speaker 1: We're talking about that. Private jets and what black cars
- 9:51Speaker 1: are coming to the private airport to get the people. Yeah.
- 9:56Speaker 3: This is not like your typical wedding where you got
- 9:58Speaker 3: a block of rooms at the local.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Marriott. Marriott.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Just do the Tobias McDonald wedding.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Just mention our name. You'll get the good rate.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Go over for- You'll get a free breakfast too.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Make sure you get that. You get the free breakfast
- 10:16Speaker 1: and here is the key chain. There's a bottle of water.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Here's your little bag.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Here's your little gift bag, goodie bag. Your bottle of
- 10:26Speaker 3: water for after that crazy night.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yes. It's kind of interesting how, like, I just went
- 10:32Speaker 1: to a wedding recently. One thing I've noticed with weddings,
- 10:37Speaker 1: they're not doing the China registry anymore. Or the silverware.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Because it's not necessary. I know it's not. And you
- 10:45Speaker 1: know what? It was one of the one fight. One
- 10:48Speaker 1: of the weird fights I got in with Peter. And
- 10:50Speaker 1: I realized, fuck, I just realized- About registering? No, I
- 10:54Speaker 1: just realized he's totally right 23 years later. Oh my God.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Oh my God, what a revelry.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I'm surprised he's not running in here right now. I
- 11:03Speaker 1: remember we were on a road trip and we were
- 11:05Speaker 1: literally like at a Denny's or an IHOP or something
- 11:07Speaker 1: having breakfast. And I registered at Gary's. You know, this
- 11:12Speaker 1: is the year 2000. I got the platinum plates. It
- 11:15Speaker 1: was a big deal because it's 2000. Platinum's the color
- 11:18Speaker 1: and da-da-da. And then I'm getting this like silverware or whatever.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And he's like, why are we doing that? Why would
- 11:27Speaker 1: we even want that? Are we really going to use it?
- 11:30Speaker 1: And I was like, well, if we don't get it now,
- 11:32Speaker 1: we never will. Because once we have kids, we're going
- 11:34Speaker 1: to put it towards our house and towards our education.
- 11:36Speaker 1: And we're never going to spend this kind of money
- 11:38Speaker 1: to have these beautiful plates again. This is what you do.
- 11:40Speaker 1: You know, so my mother went to Gary's. And I
- 11:44Speaker 1: was just like, I can't believe I'm fighting him on this. Like,
- 11:47Speaker 1: this is a real sign. Like, I should... Read the
- 11:50Speaker 1: tea leaves, Heather. This is not going to work. And
- 11:54Speaker 1: I got up and this older lady goes, you're right.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Get the china. And I thought, I'm right. But I
- 12:01Speaker 1: have to say, now it's just like such a pain
- 12:06Speaker 1: in the ass. What would you rather have gotten back
- 12:09Speaker 1: then in 2000? I mean, I think what people are
- 12:13Speaker 1: doing now is very smart. They're putting it toward, they're like,
- 12:17Speaker 1: you can get gifts, but they're also like.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Putting it towards the honeymoon.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Put it towards the honeymoon. Or like, you could just
- 12:22Speaker 1: donate to, we're going to remodel the house we just bought.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Or we're going, this is the master bathroom fund.
- 12:29Speaker 4: It's smarter.
- 12:30Speaker 1: It is so much smarter and it's easier for the people.
- 12:32Speaker 3: What do we care?
- 12:33Speaker 1: What did you get me? I don't remember. You came
- 12:35Speaker 1: to my wedding.
- 12:36Speaker 4: The biggest, most exciting moment of Heather's.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I definitely got something off the registry and I used
- 12:41Speaker 1: to try to get something that you would kind of remember.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Like the one piece. Obviously I didn't. Not like the
- 12:48Speaker 1: two plates of the china.
- 12:49Speaker 4: You failed on this one.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I don't remember. It probably was like a cool vase
- 12:54Speaker 1: or cool platter or something.
- 12:56Speaker 4: I'm sure. I'm sure.
- 12:58Speaker 1: And, you know, but then, especially nowadays, then you get
- 13:01Speaker 1: kind of sick of your stuff and then you're like, oh,
- 13:02Speaker 1: the new trend is sharp edged plates and not round.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And like, you're kind of like, oh, I want to,
- 13:08Speaker 1: I redid my kitchen. I am sick of these floured plates.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And then what happens is then, you know, my grandmother died.
- 13:14Speaker 1: So my mom inherited hers. And now my mom has died.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So I've inherited hers. And so, And then I still
- 13:23Speaker 1: have my own.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I mean, I have so much like expensive China now
- 13:27Speaker 1: and it's just all in this cabinet. And then when
- 13:29Speaker 1: we do Thanksgiving, I'm like, forget it. We're getting the
- 13:31Speaker 1: throwaway clear plates because I just. Exactly. You don't want
- 13:33Speaker 1: to do the dishes. You don't want it. It's just
- 13:35Speaker 1: a hassle. And none of it works. You don't want
- 13:38Speaker 1: to get it out. Trust me.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Ours is in our closet, a utility closet that we
- 13:42Speaker 3: keep on these shelves. And some rats got in there
- 13:45Speaker 3: and they basically used them as a jungle gym. It's
- 13:48Speaker 3: like all our China from our wedding.
- 13:50Speaker 1: It's just like.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Well, that's the most use that China has gotten since
- 13:54Speaker 3: we got married, actually.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I wonder if— do people sell it? Or maybe the thing
- 14:01Speaker 1: to do— I just thought of such a great idea.
- 14:03Speaker 4: All right. Okay.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You're opening your own restaurant, and you have a great story.
- 14:11Speaker 1: You're just a family, a local family, whatever, and you're
- 14:14Speaker 1: building your dream restaurant. You should put it out there.
- 14:19Speaker 1: If you're ready to get rid of your dishes, bring
- 14:22Speaker 1: them here. And that's the story. And there's a fun
- 14:26Speaker 1: story about every single one. Oh, that's a good idea.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And so then you're like, oh, my God, where are
- 14:30Speaker 1: these plates from? And you turn them around and you're like, Gary's. Yeah,
- 14:34Speaker 1: this is from, you know, whatever. This was from a wedding.
- 14:38Speaker 1: These people were married from 1926 to 1972. And here
- 14:44Speaker 1: they are. You know what? All you need to open
- 14:46Speaker 1: a restaurant and make it successful is a gimmick.
- 14:48Speaker 4: And that's it.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I think you nailed it. Who cares about what the
- 14:51Speaker 1: quality of the food is? Turn around their plate. The
- 14:54Speaker 1: food's falling off of it. I always come up with
- 14:57Speaker 1: all these ideas. Never execute any of them. I never
- 15:01Speaker 1: write the movie scripts. I'm just like, take it.
- 15:04Speaker 3: It's my gift to the world.
- 15:05Speaker 4: That's what you need chat GPT for.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Oh, you know what? I thought about that, about writing
- 15:11Speaker 1: a movie of a– oh, I thought of a good
- 15:13Speaker 1: one the other day and I was like, I wonder
- 15:15Speaker 1: if I could just– I kind of want to see
- 15:17Speaker 1: if Drake and I can do it over the holiday.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Use the chat for a movie idea. You'll be shocked.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Here's the key, and this is what I'm telling everyone.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Oh, I thought– can I tell you what the movie
- 15:33Speaker 1: idea is? Maybe I shouldn't tell you. Maybe I better
- 15:35Speaker 1: save it for myself. Can I have a pen? Hold on.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Save it for ChatGPT. Put it in the AI and
- 15:40Speaker 3: let the Russians steal it.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Okay, okay.
- 15:42Speaker 4: When they hack it.
- 15:44Speaker 1: No, honestly, it is ChatGPT AI.
- 15:48Speaker 4: It's the future.
- 15:49Speaker 3: It's all about prompt writing, and that's what's going to– honestly,
- 15:52Speaker 3: Drake and Brandon, I know they're going to college.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Good for them.
- 15:56Speaker 3: They don't need to learn anything other than how to
- 15:58Speaker 3: write a prompt to get the result they want in AI.
- 16:02Speaker 3: That is the key to everything. So it's like you
- 16:06Speaker 3: have a movie idea. You're like, I have a movie idea.
- 16:08Speaker 3: It's based on this, blah, blah, blah. Give me an outline,
- 16:13Speaker 3: three-act structure, and it'll spit it out. But you need
- 16:17Speaker 3: to have the starting point and the prompt. And you
- 16:22Speaker 3: feel like you know how to do it now? Yes,
- 16:24Speaker 3: for a lot of things. Listen, you still need to
- 16:27Speaker 3: have the ability, A, to write the prompt, and then, B,
- 16:30Speaker 3: it spits back information, and you still need to be
- 16:33Speaker 3: able to go, okay.
- 16:34Speaker 4: That's useful, that's not useful.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Or I can work with this, and I can redevelop
- 16:39Speaker 1: it this way and work it.
- 16:40Speaker 3: It's kind of like a brainstorming tool in a lot
- 16:42Speaker 3: of it. It's like having the best assistant. You know
- 16:44Speaker 3: how we always just have fake assistants? We did a
- 16:48Speaker 3: whole episode of After Late.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Ding-a-ling-a-ling. Hello, this is Marilee. I'm calling from Heather McDonald's office.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Well, you could do accents.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Do you always have to sound like an English person?
- 17:00Speaker 3: I know. We're doing a sizzle reel right now for
- 17:03Speaker 3: a show that we're going to take out and sell.
- 17:06Speaker 3: And we used a British VO, a voiceover.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And I'm like, you know what?
- 17:11Speaker 3: That's the most ingenious thing because these buyers... are going
- 17:15Speaker 3: to think that it's actually an existing international format because
- 17:18Speaker 3: there's something so authoritative about a British. Like, oh, this
- 17:21Speaker 3: must be a British show that they're now trying to
- 17:24Speaker 3: sell here in America.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good idea.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Yeah, so we'll see how that works.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Oh, good. Trick the dumb Americans.
- 17:31Speaker 5: We all like to think we've got a good eye
- 17:33Speaker 5: for a winning move. But when it comes to property,
- 17:35Speaker 5: it's about seeing the bigger picture.
- 17:38Speaker 1: More space. A shorter commute. Somewhere near the sea.
- 17:42Speaker 5: On daft.ie, you can explore standout homes for sale across
- 17:46Speaker 5: South Dublin. From Ranelagh to Rathfarnham. Stillorgan to Sandy Cove.
- 17:50Speaker 5: When you're ready for the next chapter, start with Ireland's
- 17:53Speaker 5: number one property platform.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Daft.ie I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Each week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary
- 18:03Speaker 2: people who have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have
- 18:07Speaker 2: found a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 18:16Speaker 1: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 18:18Speaker 1: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 18:21Speaker 1: was given back?
- 18:22Speaker 2: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 18:25Speaker 2: you had to.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Succeed in order to feel loved? He said, I have
- 18:28Speaker 1: a work dad. I need a home dad. What happens next?
- 18:30Speaker 4: When I came in, he started crying.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 18:34Speaker 2: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 18:38Speaker 2: go through. It's about what happens next.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 18:43Speaker 1: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 18:45Speaker 5: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 18:49Speaker 2: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Um, so this, I saw this video, it's gone viral.
- 19:07Speaker 1: This couple, they had a very nice wedding, garden wedding,
- 19:11Speaker 1: good outfits, beautiful dress. And she does her vows to him.
- 19:17Speaker 1: And she's like, um, I've always loved you from the moment.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I love you more every day. You've become such a
- 19:23Speaker 1: wonderful father to my child or our child or whatever. And, um,
- 19:27Speaker 1: they're like young, like 35 ish or whatever under. And then, um,
- 19:32Speaker 1: He says, and I can't wait to wake up every
- 19:35Speaker 1: morning and smack that ass every time I can. Something
- 19:39Speaker 1: like that. And everyone kind of chuckles like a little uncomfortably,
- 19:43Speaker 1: but he's like, that's it. And the pastor is like... haha,
- 19:51Speaker 1: you want to say something else? And he goes, no.
- 19:55Speaker 1: So then, okay. Then she does.
- 19:56Speaker 4: He said nice things ahead of.
- 19:57Speaker 1: No, no. And now I'm remembering it. He said his
- 20:00Speaker 1: first and that was all he said. And he goes,
- 20:01Speaker 1: do you want to say anything else? And he goes, no.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Then the girl goes and says actual nice things. And
- 20:07Speaker 1: then he was like.
- 20:08Speaker 4: He's given another chance.
- 20:09Speaker 1: So he goes, you might really want to think about
- 20:11Speaker 1: saying something more. And he's like, nope, that's it, ha ha.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And like, everyone's like, okay. And some people are like, well,
- 20:19Speaker 1: it was funny. And he, maybe he was drunk or nervous,
- 20:21Speaker 1: which is great if you're drunk on your way. I
- 20:25Speaker 1: went to only one wedding like that, that I was like,
- 20:28Speaker 1: this is a bad sign. And I remember I was
- 20:30Speaker 1: pregnant with Drake. It was in Santa Barbara. It was
- 20:32Speaker 1: my sorority sister. And it was a really nice wedding,
- 20:37Speaker 1: you know, fun garden wedding, Santa Barbara, like, you know,
- 20:40Speaker 1: the whole shebang. And he walked down the aisle. I'm
- 20:46Speaker 1: pretty sure holding a beer.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Okay. And then, and he was like a roadie and
- 20:53Speaker 1: a tennis pro for like Crosby, Steele, and Nash. Like
- 20:59Speaker 1: at the same time? Like they'd go on the road? Yeah.
- 21:02Speaker 1: And when he's done loading equipment, he'd be like, hey,
- 21:05Speaker 1: David Crosby, let's go hit the courts. Yes. Let's work
- 21:11Speaker 1: on your forehead, you fat ass. Yeah. So it was
- 21:15Speaker 1: something like that. I don't know if that was the
- 21:16Speaker 1: band or not. I'm sure there's someone listening that can
- 21:19Speaker 1: figure out who it is, whatever. They're no longer married.
- 21:23Speaker 1: They had two kids. They got divorced. But it was
- 21:27Speaker 1: such a brief, short thing. And I was like, it's
- 21:30Speaker 1: nice to make it brief. But you knew it was over, right?
- 21:34Speaker 1: I didn't know it was over at that moment. I
- 21:36Speaker 1: just realized later. But you saw the sign. Oh, you
- 21:39Speaker 1: realized later. I thought, look, I was like, look, as
- 21:42Speaker 1: someone attending the wedding, I'm glad I'm not sitting through
- 21:45Speaker 1: the hour and a half Catholic mass that I made
- 21:47Speaker 1: people sit through me. I was like, I really appreciate
- 21:50Speaker 1: being in this garden. I appreciate that we could have
- 21:53Speaker 1: a cocktail before. I'm excited. This is cute and nice.
- 21:57Speaker 1: But it was almost like too short. Like, I'm like...
- 22:00Speaker 1: You don't have to have a full mask. You don't
- 22:02Speaker 1: have to have readings. But like have a couple moments,
- 22:06Speaker 1: a few seconds. I think the ceremony has got to
- 22:09Speaker 1: last at least minimum 15 minutes, please, from beginning to end.
- 22:14Speaker 1: It cannot be shorter than that. It's just like it
- 22:17Speaker 1: really should be more like 25, 30 in my opinion,
- 22:20Speaker 1: but definitely needs to be 15. Do you work on
- 22:22Speaker 1: your vows for a while? No, that's what I'm so
- 22:25Speaker 1: bummed about. We just did the traditional ones. We didn't
- 22:28Speaker 1: even think. We didn't even think about it. And I
- 22:31Speaker 1: think it's so important to do the vows. And when
- 22:34Speaker 1: I married Chris and Liz, I was like so nervous
- 22:41Speaker 1: about it. The Frangolas. Yeah, the Frangolas. I was so
- 22:44Speaker 1: nervous about it. But they then had their vows. And
- 22:47Speaker 1: because I knew him, and that's when I was like,
- 22:50Speaker 1: you know what? I was like, you married them? I
- 22:52Speaker 1: was like.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Oh, wait, I was there. You did marry them.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but I really think, like, if it is truly
- 22:59Speaker 1: like your pastor, I think it's great, or your rabbi. But, like,
- 23:03Speaker 1: the Monsignor who married us, now, I could have done this,
- 23:09Speaker 1: and it just didn't occur to me. I should have
- 23:11Speaker 1: been like, hey, can we meet with you? I really
- 23:13Speaker 1: want you to personalize it. And I'm sure he would have.
- 23:15Speaker 1: But because I never did— It was literally like he
- 23:19Speaker 1: knew nothing about us. That's my thing with the Catholic
- 23:22Speaker 1: Mass weddings.
- 23:22Speaker 3: It's like 99% of it is about Jesus and such
- 23:28Speaker 3: a small part of it is about the actual couple, seemingly.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Well, I mean, it really can be. I'm saying if
- 23:34Speaker 1: you are doing that, just make sure that you take
- 23:37Speaker 1: the time to To me, like if you're like- No,
- 23:39Speaker 1: just don't do it. No one appreciates it, honestly. No
- 23:42Speaker 1: one appreciates what? A full Catholic mass wedding. Well, okay.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I'm saying if you're like me- Even Catholics don't like it. Okay.
- 23:49Speaker 1: If you're like me and your parents are like, you
- 23:53Speaker 1: got to do it this way and you're kind of
- 23:55Speaker 1: pleasing your parents or yourself because you really want the
- 23:58Speaker 1: full thing, even now, They had just started it where
- 24:02Speaker 1: you didn't have to have the mass. You didn't have
- 24:04Speaker 1: a full mass and it could still be still up
- 24:07Speaker 1: there with the Pope, okay? And my mom was like,
- 24:10Speaker 1: it's not the same thing because we had done it
- 24:12Speaker 1: for Shannon, my sister, two years prior. But if you
- 24:15Speaker 1: have to- Shannon Goldberg? Goldstein. Goldstein.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yes.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Had a major Catholic mass wedding.
- 24:21Speaker 4: That's hilarious.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yes, but it's great.
- 24:23Speaker 4: No, it's wonderful.
- 24:24Speaker 1: The kids went to Catholic school. He didn't care. He's
- 24:26Speaker 1: the best husband ever.
- 24:26Speaker 4: My kids go to Catholic school.
- 24:27Speaker 1: So anyway, it's all great. So anyway, so he- So
- 24:31Speaker 1: with that, I'm just saying if you have a situation
- 24:35Speaker 1: like that, you can still have a real meeting with
- 24:38Speaker 1: who's ever marrying you and ask. But I just think
- 24:41Speaker 1: I was still so like being the good guy. It
- 24:43Speaker 1: didn't even occur to me because we just did with
- 24:46Speaker 1: my sister. I'm like I'll just have exactly what my
- 24:47Speaker 1: sister did. Like he didn't mention– at the time I
- 24:50Speaker 1: was like on a TV show and he didn't mention
- 24:53Speaker 1: that or that I was a comedian or that what
- 24:56Speaker 1: Peter did or that Peter grew up in San Diego.
- 24:58Speaker 1: You want him to plug your dates?
- 25:00Speaker 3: No, but like– And she'll be appearing next weekend at
- 25:04Speaker 3: the American Comedy Club in San Diego.
- 25:05Speaker 1: No, but I think there should be some personalization to it. No,
- 25:09Speaker 1: I agree. I'm just saying there was none. No, well,
- 25:11Speaker 1: we had my uncle do mine. It was literally nothing
- 25:13Speaker 1: except my name. That was it.
- 25:14Speaker 3: We had my uncle do mine who looked like a rabbi.
- 25:16Speaker 1: He's not a rabbi.
- 25:19Speaker 3: And there was something really nice about that because it
- 25:22Speaker 3: was very personal. But I remember Shannon and I, we just,
- 25:24Speaker 3: for the vows, we were both like, Let's just print
- 25:27Speaker 3: something out from the internet. Just like Google vows. And
- 25:30Speaker 3: I go, I'll take the top half. You take the
- 25:32Speaker 3: second half. And I remember we were reading them and
- 25:35Speaker 3: she was so nervous about reading in public that she
- 25:38Speaker 3: was staring at hers the whole time.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Like her lines.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I was like, we're doing mine. I go, I vowed
- 25:43Speaker 1: to look at you when you read your vows to me.
- 25:46Speaker 1: What the hell? You know? I remember it was funny.
- 25:49Speaker 1: You know, you can also now ask AI to do that.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Well, that's what I was going to say.
- 25:53Speaker 1: You definitely can. Nowadays, I would be like AI.
- 25:56Speaker 3: And you could make them personalize. You could go mention
- 26:00Speaker 3: these things.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I went to a baby shower, and my friend was
- 26:05Speaker 1: giving the speech to her daughter-in-law. And I was so impressed.
- 26:09Speaker 1: My friend whispered and said she asked AI to do it.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Because I just didn't, it's really not her forte. Hence
- 26:15Speaker 1: why I was like, wow, how did she come up
- 26:17Speaker 1: with this?
- 26:18Speaker 3: It's going to change the world. I tell you, it's
- 26:20Speaker 3: going to make everyone smarter and better.
- 26:23Speaker 1: And out of work, but whatever. Well, you know, I've
- 26:27Speaker 1: talked about this before in that, like, you know, someone
- 26:31Speaker 1: joked and said, remember when you were in math class
- 26:33Speaker 1: and your teacher would say, you have to know your
- 26:35Speaker 1: multiplication tables because you're not going to have a calculator
- 26:37Speaker 1: next to you all the time. And now we do.
- 26:40Speaker 1: So it's like, I kind of think the same thing
- 26:42Speaker 1: about You know, learning grammar, learning other languages. Like maybe
- 26:47Speaker 1: there could be– I think almost like there needs to
- 26:49Speaker 1: be an overhaul of curriculum really for the new world
- 26:53Speaker 1: and teach you ways to think or something because these
- 26:57Speaker 1: repetitive– For the new world. The new world, which will
- 27:00Speaker 1: be in Zuckerberg's bunker, right? Swimming to the island. Will
- 27:06Speaker 1: we please come join you?
- 27:08Speaker 3: Kite surfing to his island, whatever stupid sport he does.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Okay, last night I watched Sixteen Candles. I was very
- 27:16Speaker 1: excited to see that it popped on. And it was
- 27:18Speaker 1: just Brandon and I. And I go, oh, Brandon, you
- 27:20Speaker 1: will really like this movie. It's so funny. Come on.
- 27:25Speaker 1: And it was like they're at the dance. I know
- 27:27Speaker 1: my audience knows the movie Sixteen Candles. Okay, so I
- 27:30Speaker 1: don't have to explain it. Okay. But it's about teenagers.
- 27:33Speaker 1: The girl turns 16. Her parents forget. And it's funny.
- 27:36Speaker 1: And it's John Hughes. And it's Molly Ringwald. And I'm
- 27:40Speaker 1: watching it. They're at the school. And then Anthony McCall
- 27:44Speaker 1: is hitting on her and all that stuff. And then
- 27:47Speaker 1: all of a sudden it gets to the part that
- 27:50Speaker 1: I cannot believe. I never saw it for what it was.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Complete sexual assault of an unconscious female. Yeah. It is
- 28:02Speaker 1: so bad. So the cute guy that she likes, whose
- 28:07Speaker 1: family is rich and everything, he's been banging a pretty
- 28:10Speaker 1: girl who's been his girlfriend for probably two years. But
- 28:13Speaker 1: he likes Molly Ringwald, which Brandon was like, I don't
- 28:17Speaker 1: think so, but whatever.
- 28:18Speaker 4: He's being anti-ginger. Okay, Brandon. Thank you.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Her hair was brown in that. But she's considered a redhead.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I know, but in real life, she has brown hair.
- 28:28Speaker 1: She dyed her hair. My kids would be like, that's
- 28:29Speaker 1: the olden days, so that's the color on the screen.
- 28:32Speaker 1: She dyed her hair. And by the way, her hair
- 28:34Speaker 1: looks more blonde than red anymore. Well, because it's a
- 28:36Speaker 1: lot of white in there now. Okay, well, she dyed
- 28:40Speaker 1: her hair red so that she could stand out in
- 28:43Speaker 1: the acting pool.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Oh, so she's not naturally?
- 28:46Speaker 1: She is not a natural red, is my understanding. So she...
- 28:53Speaker 1: But it is a great movie because there's all these
- 28:54Speaker 1: like funny things that like I noticed that like the
- 28:58Speaker 1: director thought of that like really made it.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Think about how many of these movies. Revenge of the Nerds.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Remember there's a scene where he goes in and they're
- 29:08Speaker 3: in like the moon bounce thing.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:10Speaker 3: And he's– she thinks he's– She thinks the nerd is
- 29:15Speaker 3: her boyfriend, you know, and she like grabs him and
- 29:18Speaker 3: they basically have sex. And he doesn't like be like, hey,
- 29:21Speaker 3: I'm not who you think I am. That's technically rape.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Well, that's basically what happens here. So then Jake goes,
- 29:28Speaker 1: I'm so mad. He goes, I so like this new
- 29:31Speaker 1: girl that I've barely spoken to. And I'm so tired
- 29:34Speaker 1: of banging my old girlfriend who got really drunk and
- 29:36Speaker 1: invited all of her friends over and ruined the house.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I need you. Anthony Michael Hall, who's 14 and doesn't
- 29:42Speaker 1: have a permit, to take my dad's convertible Rolls Royce
- 29:45Speaker 1: and just drive her home. She's going to want some.
- 29:49Speaker 1: He says, she's going to want some. And he goes,
- 29:51Speaker 1: right now she's passed out in my room. I could
- 29:53Speaker 1: violate her any which way but Sunday. And Anthony Michael
- 29:56Speaker 1: Hall goes, what are you waiting for? And he's like,
- 29:58Speaker 1: I'm just not into it anymore. So you take her
- 30:00Speaker 1: home and she's wasted in the car. And she looks
- 30:05Speaker 1: over at Anthony Michael Hall and she's like, who are you?
- 30:07Speaker 1: And then she looks over at Jake and Jake goes,
- 30:09Speaker 1: he's me. And then I'm him. And like, so he's,
- 30:13Speaker 1: so then she wakes up from her getting, from her
- 30:15Speaker 1: being wasted or whatever. And he's like, ah, and she,
- 30:19Speaker 1: you know, and she goes and she's like, ah, I
- 30:21Speaker 1: love you. And like goes down to like, I guess
- 30:23Speaker 1: give him a blow job. And then he looks straight
- 30:25Speaker 1: at the camera and he's like, all right, it's on.
- 30:28Speaker 1: And then they wake up and he's got his neck
- 30:32Speaker 1: brace on, which, again, where was your neck brace? You
- 30:34Speaker 1: brought it to the dance? Okay. Whatever, but it made
- 30:37Speaker 1: for a funny scene from his braces. And she's like,
- 30:42Speaker 1: you know, did we? And he's like, yeah, we did.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And she's like, okay, it's fine, you know, that I
- 30:46Speaker 1: totally thought I was screwing my boyfriend of two years
- 30:49Speaker 1: and instead it was a 14-year-old. And because I kind
- 30:53Speaker 1: of was like a vapid bitch who invited people over
- 30:56Speaker 1: to Jake's party, I deserve to be raped.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Well, that was the message.
- 31:01Speaker 3: And that's the message I'm going to show my kids.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I'm going to sit them down and go, look at this.
- 31:06Speaker 1: This is rape. See 16 candles for what it is.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Brandon got bored. He got bored before they got to
- 31:14Speaker 1: the rape part.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Did he get the point that you're not supposed to
- 31:16Speaker 4: do that?
- 31:17Speaker 1: Well, he always does. So he'd be like, he was
- 31:20Speaker 1: already like horrified. He was horrified by when the girl
- 31:23Speaker 1: gives him his underwear so he can tell everybody, I
- 31:26Speaker 1: banged this girl. Here's the evidence of her underwear. That
- 31:29Speaker 1: was so unbelievable.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Yeah. And then I was a little bored by the movie.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I was like, why did I think this was the
- 31:36Speaker 1: funniest thing I'd ever seen in my life?
- 31:39Speaker 3: I've had a few of those moments where I was
- 31:41Speaker 3: like telling my kids like, oh, you got to see
- 31:43Speaker 3: this movie.
- 31:44Speaker 1: This was the best movie. Shannon and I were like, oh,
- 31:47Speaker 1: this is a high five. And this is going to
- 31:49Speaker 1: be amazing. We put it in and we're watching it going.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess it's not as good as we thought
- 31:54Speaker 3: it was going to.
- 31:55Speaker 1: It was. I did that with my daughter, Mackenzie, with
- 31:58Speaker 1: Harry Met Sally. Oh, interesting. And she was really like.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I don't get it. She was just like, I don't
- 32:04Speaker 1: get why this is so great or whatever. Huh. The
- 32:08Speaker 1: movies my mom made me watch were like The Bad Seed.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:13Speaker 1: And things like that. She was like, oh, this is
- 32:15Speaker 1: so great about this child who murders people.
- 32:17Speaker 3: My parents didn't really make me.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Watch old movies. But I never liked him as much
- 32:23Speaker 1: as like the ones that I'd watch over and over again.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Like we would want to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,
- 32:28Speaker 1: Wizard of Oz. We'd watch that over and over again.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Wizard of Oz.
- 32:32Speaker 3: I was obsessed with Footloose when it came out.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I just wanted to dance.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Wasn't there a rape scene in that too? Yes. Yes. Chuck.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 32:41Speaker 1: No, he hit her. Yeah.
- 32:43Speaker 4: He beats up Ariel.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Yeah. Because she's into Ren. That's Kevin Bacon's character. It
- 32:50Speaker 3: was a great, great film. I had a big crush
- 32:52Speaker 3: on Ariel.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it was good.
- 32:55Speaker 4: I just wanted to dance too.
- 32:56Speaker 1: See, here it is. Here's the scene.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Yep.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I wrote up 16 cans of salt.
- 33:02Speaker 3: See, he could have had that in his glove box.
- 33:05Speaker 1: You never know. No, but it wasn't his car. So
- 33:08Speaker 1: he wouldn't have had his neck brace.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Well, look, also there's beer just like in the car.
- 33:12Speaker 1: He gave him beer. I know, but still. Jake gave
- 33:14Speaker 1: him beer. It's just like that's... I know, but nobody
- 33:17Speaker 1: thought about those things and it was a funny moment,
- 33:19Speaker 1: but okay. P. Diddy. Let's talk about P. Diddy.
- 33:22Speaker 3: We're going to go through all the people who were
- 33:24Speaker 3: guests on Chelsea Lately who have now been accused of
- 33:28Speaker 3: sexual assault.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Wasn't P. Diddy like the only person that was really
- 33:31Speaker 1: severely late?
- 33:32Speaker 3: He was severely late and he was promoting... Was it
- 33:35Speaker 3: Danity Kane or something.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Like that, like all-girl group? Oh, yeah.
- 33:39Speaker 3: And he was like an hour late. And Chelsea, we
- 33:42Speaker 3: were like about to be like, we are literally going
- 33:46Speaker 3: and taping without him to his people.
- 33:48Speaker 4: And they were like, you wouldn't do that.
- 33:50Speaker 3: We're like, no, we really are. We don't need him.
- 33:52Speaker 3: And we'll just go on. And he got his ass
- 33:55Speaker 3: to the studio really– but he came running in. And
- 34:00Speaker 3: then Chelsea just kind of read him the riot act.
- 34:03Speaker 3: It was like– How rude is that?
- 34:06Speaker 4: You know?
- 34:06Speaker 1: And that was.
- 34:09Speaker 4: But yeah, now he's... What.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Do you think about all the latest? Let's talk about
- 34:12Speaker 1: all the rumors.
- 34:14Speaker 3: I think he is in a lot of trouble. I
- 34:18Speaker 3: think this guy is... Thank God he's got a lot
- 34:20Speaker 3: of money because he's going to have.
- 34:23Speaker 1: To do a lot of paying out. I mean, all these...
- 34:26Speaker 1: All these associations have dropped him. A couple more people
- 34:31Speaker 1: have come out. I think the latest was a 17-year-old.
- 34:34Speaker 1: There's so many bad stories. There's girls and young boys
- 34:40Speaker 1: that have been violated rumors. But no young man has
- 34:42Speaker 1: come forward yet.
- 34:43Speaker 3: No, but there are definitely a lot of rumors about
- 34:47Speaker 3: him and.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Men. Yes, there are.
- 34:52Speaker 4: With prominent men.
- 34:54Speaker 3: But then, like, someone was telling me, I was like,
- 34:56Speaker 3: are you telling me every single black male celebrity is gay?
- 35:01Speaker 3: I don't think that's true. I mean, this guy was, like, basically.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Well, there's a new. And then this guy and this guy,
- 35:06Speaker 1: you know, and Will Smith. Okay, well, there's a new. Okay,
- 35:09Speaker 1: slow down, everyone. There's a new guy I just saw,
- 35:11Speaker 1: a good-looking black actor who did an hour-long, like, Instagram
- 35:18Speaker 1: live show. Where he's like, I, you know, he wasn't
- 35:23Speaker 1: sexually assaulted. He was sexually harassed by this big guy
- 35:28Speaker 1: in Hollywood. He's like this big black Hollywood mogul that
- 35:31Speaker 1: everyone respects. Everyone thinks is wonderful. And I like auditioned
- 35:35Speaker 1: for the part and I thought it great. And he
- 35:37Speaker 1: was like, do you want to go up to the
- 35:38Speaker 1: apartment now? And he'd be like, no. And things like that.
- 35:43Speaker 1: And then there were other people, and don't you want to,
- 35:45Speaker 1: and then he would talk to other actors that would
- 35:47Speaker 1: go up to the apartment to get the, and just
- 35:49Speaker 1: kind of like, maybe gay for pay or gay for
- 35:51Speaker 1: a part, whatever. And, but then the comments were like,
- 35:55Speaker 1: you know, if you're not going to say who it is.
- 35:57Speaker 4: Then don't bother.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Then shut up with your story. Exactly, no one cares.
- 36:01Speaker 1: you know, then you, you've got to be like these,
- 36:03Speaker 1: you know, do you go through the names? Yeah. Go
- 36:06Speaker 1: through the proper channels of your, what you're going to do.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Call Gloria. All right.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Let's like, right.
- 36:11Speaker 1: And yeah, don't just have us then go well. So
- 36:13Speaker 1: then they take him and they go, Oh, I pulled
- 36:16Speaker 1: up his IMD.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 1: And he was on this person. This was Tyler Perry
- 36:20Speaker 1: was here, but then this other guy was here and
- 36:22Speaker 1: then this and this and this. And, and it's like, yeah. Okay.
- 36:26Speaker 1: So what the point was just to get us all
- 36:27Speaker 1: talking about you. That's why I'm not even saying his name.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I'm like, Also, I didn't write it down, but I just,
- 36:32Speaker 1: I just, but I was kind of like looking at
- 36:34Speaker 1: it and I was like, well, this is just kind
- 36:36Speaker 1: of annoying. You're going to say it or you're not.
- 36:38Speaker 1: And like, also, I think like, again, in 2024, I
- 36:43Speaker 1: just don't think so. Like, if it's consensual, so? So
- 36:51Speaker 1: what that he was bi? Oh, I don't, yes. Like,
- 36:53Speaker 1: does anyone really care? No, no, no. Does it make
- 36:55Speaker 1: them not think? Well, I think it depends. It's not a...
- 36:58Speaker 1: I think it depends. I think it only depends if you're, like,
- 37:01Speaker 1: in religion or you're a politician. I just feel like
- 37:04Speaker 1: if some actor or musician comes out as bi.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I think it all depends on what community. I think
- 37:12Speaker 3: every community reacts differently.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Yes. Maybe so. And then maybe that's why it was
- 37:16Speaker 1: a secret. And I think if you, you know, are,
- 37:19Speaker 1: you know, whatever. But the point is, I.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Think that his reputation is of a hard, you know, tough,
- 37:31Speaker 3: you know, not like ladies man.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I'm just surprised that like, he knows his history, right?
- 37:40Speaker 1: All these guys do.
- 37:41Speaker 3: And yet he's still so like out there and prominent.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Wouldn't you kind of be like, okay, all this stuff
- 37:46Speaker 3: is kind of coming home to roost. Maybe I should
- 37:48Speaker 3: just like keep a low profile.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Like, wouldn't you do that?
- 37:52Speaker 2: No.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Well, I think when he let- Not draw attention. When
- 37:56Speaker 1: he let all the, there was this thing that happened
- 37:59Speaker 1: like a month and a half ago or two months
- 38:00Speaker 1: ago where P. Diddy is giving all his artists their
- 38:04Speaker 1: publishing rights back. Mm-hmm. And I was like, I don't
- 38:08Speaker 1: think he's doing this out of the goodness of his heart.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I think he's doing it as like- Everyone shut up.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Shut up. Look at this thing I'm doing for you.
- 38:15Speaker 1: You're going to make a lot more money now that
- 38:17Speaker 1: you have your publishing rights versus if you want to go.
- 38:19Speaker 1: And so that's why I think there are people coming
- 38:22Speaker 1: forward because they can. But I think that's why other
- 38:26Speaker 1: people are like, I don't need to. When people say, oh,
- 38:32Speaker 1: they're just coming forward now, it causes so much- stress
- 38:37Speaker 1: and drama to come forward. Yes. So it's, people are
- 38:40Speaker 1: not doing it because, you know, it's fun. No, I don't.
- 38:46Speaker 4: I don't think they are.
- 38:48Speaker 3: But especially, especially when you start going after big name
- 38:52Speaker 3: people who have a history for going, uh, or allegedly
- 38:56Speaker 3: going after people, uh, you know, who are, you know,
- 39:01Speaker 3: in physical ways, violent ways, you.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Know, Right, and how he always had a gun. Yeah, exactly.
- 39:06Speaker 3: So it's like you may not want to make allegations
- 39:09Speaker 3: against someone with that history.
- 39:11Speaker 1: But, you know, unless they're true. I was talking to
- 39:14Speaker 1: this guy who had a management company and he had
- 39:17Speaker 1: some comedians, but he also had, you know, big stars.
- 39:23Speaker 1: And I remember he was like kind of bragging to
- 39:25Speaker 1: me about how he had a meeting with P. Diddy
- 39:29Speaker 1: and how P. Diddy put like a gun on the
- 39:31Speaker 1: table as are like i'd like some.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Negotiating tactic like you put your cell phone on the
- 39:37Speaker 3: table yeah let me get my keys out i told me.
- 39:39Speaker 1: This in like 1997 yeah it was like 1997 when
- 39:40Speaker 1: he told me this and i remember being like I
- 39:48Speaker 1: don't know. I was just like, oh, I guess that's
- 39:51Speaker 1: what like rappers do. I don't know. But I remember
- 39:54Speaker 1: always thinking it was weird. And so then when all
- 39:56Speaker 1: this stuff came forward of him having guns and threatening
- 39:59Speaker 1: and because he didn't seem that scary and thug like
- 40:04Speaker 1: in the last 20 years. He really didn't. No, he
- 40:07Speaker 1: seemed like mogul like. Yes. Yeah. And so now I'm like, oh, whoa.
- 40:11Speaker 4: But he was young.
- 40:12Speaker 3: He was, you know, dumb and wrapped up in all
- 40:15Speaker 3: of that.
- 40:15Speaker 1: And. Well, it seems like it was going on for
- 40:18Speaker 1: a long time. And then also with that whole Cassie,
- 40:21Speaker 1: the one that, and then it was kind of amazing
- 40:23Speaker 1: because by filing the lawsuit, that all became public, but
- 40:28Speaker 1: he still settled right away. Yeah.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Wow.
- 40:31Speaker 1: So good for her, but, but it's still out there.
- 40:34Speaker 1: And there was a clip of Wendy Williams, like somehow
- 40:39Speaker 1: someone's like pulling up, you know, old stuff. And she said,
- 40:42Speaker 1: You know, when you're still coherent. Yeah. Yeah.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:45Speaker 1: It's such a bummer. But anyway, so she she goes,
- 40:48Speaker 1: you know, and like the topics behind her. And she's like,
- 40:51Speaker 1: when you're dating someone like this, it's no fun. They
- 40:55Speaker 1: will find you the land a helicopter at the hotel
- 40:58Speaker 1: you're at. Like you are there. An employee. Yeah. Yeah.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You have to be the beck and call at all times. Yeah. Yeah.
- 41:07Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 41:07Speaker 3: You don't want that life. It really is not a
- 41:10Speaker 3: life you want. It really isn't.
- 41:12Speaker 1: It's such a– And then it's so hard to get
- 41:15Speaker 1: out of because even if you want to get out
- 41:17Speaker 1: of them, you're like I just– then they might be like, oh, no,
- 41:19Speaker 1: you're not because that would be embarrassing to me. Exactly.
- 41:22Speaker 1: So then you're almost like scared to leave.
- 41:24Speaker 3: They make you believe that you're nothing without them and
- 41:30Speaker 3: that they have done everything for you and created you
- 41:33Speaker 3: and you're.
- 41:34Speaker 1: And then it's like here's another Chanel bag. Who cares?
- 41:38Speaker 1: Like– Shut up and take my Chanel bag. Then they
- 41:41Speaker 1: go and see that the fakes are getting better and better.
- 41:44Speaker 1: And they're like, do you know what I had to
- 41:45Speaker 1: do for the Chanel bag? Who cares if it's real
- 41:51Speaker 1: or fake? That's it. That's your dignity. And a lot
- 41:56Speaker 1: of people think there's stuff about Kim Porter. She died
- 41:59Speaker 1: at 53. No, not at 53. She died at 51,
- 42:01Speaker 1: I think. No, 47. Sorry, 47. But he just did
- 42:02Speaker 1: a tribute to her. We miss you so much and
- 42:11Speaker 1: we love you. And she's the father, the mother of
- 42:13Speaker 1: his kids.
- 42:14Speaker 3: COVID got in the way. He couldn't, he didn't have
- 42:16Speaker 3: time to put together the tribute. I mean, there's a
- 42:19Speaker 3: lot that happened. You know, he was a little busy
- 42:22Speaker 3: to get around to it.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Anyway, people think that there's, not people's not saying that,
- 42:26Speaker 1: but there are people in the interweb that thinks that
- 42:32Speaker 1: it is suspicious how she died now.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Well, you know, whether or not he had anything to
- 42:38Speaker 3: do with it, everything– now with everything else, you immediately go, oh, well, maybe.
- 42:44Speaker 1: There's already, you know, suspicion. Oh, I bet you. Well,
- 42:48Speaker 1: even with Matthew Perry when he died, which people could
- 42:53Speaker 1: still– they were like, I think there was foul play.
- 42:56Speaker 1: And then there clearly– I really don't think there was. No. No.
- 43:01Speaker 3: They investigate everything, I think, initially as foul play when
- 43:04Speaker 3: someone is found dead in their home alone.
- 43:07Speaker 1: But no, like he was going to expose some big
- 43:10Speaker 1: Hollywood secret and he had a secret book on his
- 43:12Speaker 1: computer that disappeared. I'm like, how do you know that?
- 43:15Speaker 1: And then, you know, so did they come? Did someone,
- 43:19Speaker 1: you know, cause him to die? That's ridiculous. No.
- 43:23Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't buy that.
- 43:25Speaker 1: But they're fun to watch sometimes. Kevin Spacey. I just
- 43:29Speaker 1: pulled up his Instagram.
- 43:31Speaker 3: He was another one who was on Chelsea Lately who
- 43:34Speaker 3: has been canceled because of sexual assault allegations.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I feel like he's going to come back.
- 43:42Speaker 4: Oh, you can still contact him.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Info at kevinspacey.com. His last... Post was from 2020, though.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Christmas of 2020.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Evan Lowenstein. Evan Lowenstein is his representation. Nice to see you.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Nice Jewish boys holding on to Kevin Spacey as a client.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Hey, Mom, look at me. I got Kevin Spacey. The
- 44:00Speaker 1: guy from House of Courage, remember? I predict Kevin Spacey
- 44:04Speaker 1: will be back on something within the next four years.
- 44:09Speaker 3: I just remember him in the hallway of Chelsea Lately
- 44:12Speaker 3: outside of the dressing room. This was at our first studio.
- 44:15Speaker 3: on the west side of LA. And it was kind
- 44:17Speaker 3: of a really small building. It wasn't like when we
- 44:20Speaker 3: moved to Universal Studios. And so he's like, and he
- 44:25Speaker 3: lived in England. So he had, you know, Chelsea was
- 44:28Speaker 3: a woman, so he wasn't interested. He didn't know anything
- 44:32Speaker 3: about this show.
- 44:34Speaker 4: And, you know, his publicist obviously brought him to it.
- 44:37Speaker 3: I just remember him wandering by himself in the hallway
- 44:39Speaker 3: looking at all the photos from previous shows, you know,
- 44:42Speaker 3: of all the different guests who've been on here and
- 44:43Speaker 3: just kind of staring at them going, what the fuck
- 44:46Speaker 3: kind of show.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Am I coming on right now?
- 44:49Speaker 3: You know, and, like, obviously we had Chewie just walking back.
- 44:51Speaker 3: I'm sure we had little people flying somewhere through the air.
- 44:54Speaker 3: And I just remember him, you know, and I think
- 44:56Speaker 3: he took a real liking to Ryan Basford.
- 44:58Speaker 4: That's what I remember.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Really? Yeah. I can imagine. Yeah.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Ryan Basford, who was, I don't even know why I'm
- 45:09Speaker 3: mentioning him.
- 45:10Speaker 4: He's around.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:15Speaker 1: No, he's the best. He's great. Okay, let me see
- 45:19Speaker 1: what else I have. This is like a weird post
- 45:22Speaker 1: he was doing. A New York bar has raised its
- 45:25Speaker 1: drinking age to 25 because they find young people are annoying.
- 45:28Speaker 4: I agree.
- 45:30Speaker 1: I agree.
- 45:31Speaker 4: I agree.
- 45:32Speaker 1: 21, that is still you're a very young person. And
- 45:35Speaker 1: by the way, that's Gen Z, and Gen Z is now.
- 45:39Speaker 3: The most annoying generation ever. So absolutely, I would make it,
- 45:45Speaker 3: you couldn't be in Gen Z. I would be like,
- 45:48Speaker 3: so that would be, I think they're, I don't know, 20,
- 45:52Speaker 3: I don't know what year they are, but I would
- 45:54Speaker 3: be like, just anyone who's below 30, sorry.
- 45:59Speaker 1: I wonder, I'm thinking now- You know, I feel like
- 46:03Speaker 1: more and more restaurants and stuff, there's like more like,
- 46:07Speaker 1: have you noticed there's more like private dining clubs? kind
- 46:11Speaker 1: of like that are sort of popping up. More and more,
- 46:14Speaker 1: I feel like it's like the rich are getting richer,
- 46:16Speaker 1: the poor are getting poorer. Things are being more exclusive.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I just want to pay to be around a certain
- 46:21Speaker 1: echelon of people. And I feel like that's happening a lot.
- 46:25Speaker 1: That's the attitude. I'm not saying I'm doing that, but
- 46:27Speaker 1: I'm just saying like, so, but by just upping the
- 46:32Speaker 1: age of places, you could make it You could say, like,
- 46:38Speaker 1: you know, I know there's places that are like no
- 46:39Speaker 1: kids allowed. That's one thing. But you could also say,
- 46:43Speaker 1: you know. But then I don't know if that's a
- 46:46Speaker 1: good idea. I don't think it's a good idea because
- 46:48Speaker 1: you need the young girls to get the guys in there.
- 46:51Speaker 3: You don't need them that young. I mean, honestly, and
- 46:54Speaker 3: 25 is still young. They're still annoying.
- 46:56Speaker 1: 25, I think anything, anyone under 30 right now is annoying.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I have an idea for, okay, a thing. All right.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I went– we just went to this thing recently.
- 47:08Speaker 4: And– Sounds fun.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Wow.
- 47:11Speaker 4: I can't believe I wasn't invited.
- 47:14Speaker 2: No.
- 47:14Speaker 1: It was called a supper club. But I didn't understand
- 47:18Speaker 1: what it was. Peter was like, oh, we got this– like,
- 47:20Speaker 1: you know, they reached out for like– We got an invite.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Come join us. Come to dinner. It's free. We're going.
- 47:26Speaker 1: And I was like pretty excited. But it was a
- 47:29Speaker 1: lot of effort. It was in downtown LA. We rarely
- 47:31Speaker 1: go downtown LA. But it was like the holidays and
- 47:35Speaker 1: I was like, oh, I'm like starving. Like I barely ate.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I'm so excited to go. And I'm like, I don't
- 47:41Speaker 1: understand what it is. And he tries to explain it
- 47:43Speaker 1: to me and I just– I don't know. I wasn't listening.
- 47:45Speaker 1: And so I was like– but it really was a club.
- 47:49Speaker 1: It was like a pop-up club that these people pay
- 47:52Speaker 1: like a certain amount a year and then there's four
- 47:55Speaker 1: of them in LA a year. And if you're part
- 47:57Speaker 1: of this club, so you kind of see people that
- 47:58Speaker 1: you met before and you really have the ability to
- 48:01Speaker 1: like make friends, make friends, find a date, but it's not,
- 48:05Speaker 1: it's really like a social club just for dining. So
- 48:10Speaker 1: we went and it was definitely a younger crowd than us.
- 48:14Speaker 1: And we got seated with this couple. And she was
- 48:18Speaker 1: an eye doctor and he was a lawyer. Had they
- 48:21Speaker 1: done this before?
- 48:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:22Speaker 1: And then she sat us with them and they were like,
- 48:24Speaker 1: you know, very attractive.
- 48:25Speaker 4: Were they juicy scoopers?
- 48:27Speaker 1: No, they didn't know who I was or anything. And
- 48:29Speaker 1: then they were like, we're here because we are married.
- 48:34Speaker 1: We definitely don't want to have kids.
- 48:36Speaker 4: And we're looking to swing.
- 48:37Speaker 1: They're not looking to swing. And you two look like
- 48:40Speaker 1: the perfect couple. When we got there, because it was
- 48:42Speaker 1: also like... This like jazz thing. I felt like it
- 48:46Speaker 1: was a little eyes wide shut because also people were
- 48:48Speaker 1: like dressed up because it was the holidays. But it
- 48:50Speaker 1: was nobody wants to swing with us. Trust me. That's
- 48:53Speaker 1: not true. No, but listen.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Hey, Juicy Cooper's right in if you want to swing
- 48:57Speaker 3: with Peter and Heather.
- 48:58Speaker 1: I bet you, you would be surprised. No, but what
- 49:01Speaker 1: it was is- This couple basically was like, we realized
- 49:06Speaker 1: since we're not going to have kids and our family
- 49:09Speaker 1: doesn't live in the state, we really need to cultivate
- 49:13Speaker 1: better friendships. And we didn't really have that many good friendships.
- 49:16Speaker 1: So we go to this club and we had a
- 49:19Speaker 1: really good conversation. They're really fun. And then at the end,
- 49:23Speaker 1: the girl is kind of like Do you want to
- 49:27Speaker 1: be friends? Like, do you really want to be friends?
- 49:29Speaker 1: If we exchange numbers, are we going to like make
- 49:31Speaker 1: a plan in January and have dinner? And I'm like,
- 49:35Speaker 1: I would like to. I like to do that stuff.
- 49:37Speaker 4: And then you looked at Peter and Peter was like, oh.
- 49:39Speaker 2: No.
- 49:39Speaker 1: He was like, sure. He was like, sure. Yeah.
- 49:42Speaker 4: You're going to get the swinging.
- 49:43Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 49:44Speaker 3: You didn't rule out you swinging.
- 49:46Speaker 1: They wouldn't want to swing with us. I don't ever.
- 49:49Speaker 3: But you were open to it.
- 49:50Speaker 1: I never, ever want to swing. No. Take the swinging
- 49:51Speaker 1: out of that. Just jump off of that. I'm just saying,
- 49:55Speaker 1: I think. Then I talked to this other girl who said,
- 49:58Speaker 1: I came out here for a job. I didn't know anybody.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Then the job, whatever, laid her off, but they paid
- 50:05Speaker 1: her to stay for a year. So she's like, so
- 50:06Speaker 1: now I'm out here on a year lease. I don't
- 50:08Speaker 1: know a soul. I don't have a job. I don't
- 50:09Speaker 1: have a boyfriend. I'm 35 and I wasn't getting my
- 50:12Speaker 1: nails done. And I heard these people talk about the
- 50:14Speaker 1: supper club thing. And she's like, And now like it's
- 50:17Speaker 1: like on a Wednesday or something, not like a Friday
- 50:20Speaker 1: or Saturday. And she's made these friends. She's like this
- 50:23Speaker 1: girl I met here who threw me my birthday party.
- 50:25Speaker 1: And I was like, I think there's going to be
- 50:28Speaker 1: more things like that.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Yes.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Meeting people in real life. So I think you could
- 50:32Speaker 1: do pop up dinners. I just thought of. Because somebody
- 50:35Speaker 1: who's ever in charge of this thing I went to
- 50:38Speaker 1: is obviously making a little bit of money for being
- 50:40Speaker 1: the organizer as they should. So think about it this way, people.
- 50:44Speaker 1: You do a pop-up thing at a restaurant, but it's
- 50:48Speaker 1: for 30 and above or something.
- 50:49Speaker 3: For 30 and above and everyone has to be married
- 50:51Speaker 3: and they have to bring in the wedding dishes. Yeah.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Oh my God, Heather, this business is coming full circle.
- 50:58Speaker 1: And then there's a story on the wedding dishes. Okay,
- 51:00Speaker 1: you have to be over 30. You have to be
- 51:02Speaker 1: married and you have to be willing to get rid
- 51:04Speaker 1: of your mothers or your dishes. Exactly. And that's your payment. Yeah.
- 51:08Speaker 1: That's how you get in. And then this restaurant that
- 51:11Speaker 1: has all new dishes. Exactly. And everyone wins.
- 51:14Speaker 3: Everyone has a story. It's a great icebreaker.
- 51:17Speaker 1: You're like, oh, your family. Let's see what the story is. Oh, Maria,
- 51:22Speaker 1: you know, your grandmother's dishes are wonderful. And it's a
- 51:25Speaker 1: great icebreaker. Yeah. But no, I do think there could
- 51:28Speaker 1: be something where they say it's for people who are
- 51:32Speaker 1: 30 or above. Why don't you do Juicy Scoop dinners?
- 51:34Speaker 1: 40 and above. Or you've got to be between 30
- 51:36Speaker 1: and 40. That's it. You have to do. You should
- 51:38Speaker 1: do Juicy Scoop exclusive dinners. Sure. I'm serious. Yeah. Why
- 51:43Speaker 1: couldn't you do a Juicy Scoop club? And have everyone
- 51:45Speaker 1: bring their dishes? They can bring their dishes. Or they
- 51:51Speaker 1: can come to dish. By the way, the dishes are
- 51:53Speaker 1: a little out of a painted package.
- 51:55Speaker 3: You don't want the whole shatter on the way over.
- 52:00Speaker 1: People come in holding fragments of plates. You're like, oh, sorry.
- 52:05Speaker 1: I'd rather just come with a bottle of wine or whatever.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:10Speaker 1: No, but I do think there is something in, as
- 52:13Speaker 1: you get older or younger, where you, or you say it's,
- 52:17Speaker 1: you know, for these, this is for under 30 or
- 52:19Speaker 1: this is for over 30 or this is, you know,
- 52:22Speaker 1: and you've got to show your ID and you've got
- 52:23Speaker 1: to be this age, you know, just like how they
- 52:26Speaker 1: do it for like an industry party or whatever. Yeah.
- 52:29Speaker 1: I think there's got to be more stuff like that.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Because I've also heard that younger kids are not... Is
- 52:35Speaker 1: your text message? I don't know why. Something's going on
- 52:37Speaker 1: with the timer. Okay, so I also think that... Younger people,
- 52:43Speaker 1: I've also read, they're not drinking as much.
- 52:45Speaker 4: No, people are not drinking as much.
- 52:47Speaker 1: And so some of these restaurants and bars have it
- 52:50Speaker 1: to do, like Mackenzie, my daughter, said, they're having to
- 52:52Speaker 1: do like trivia nights and trying to do something so
- 52:55Speaker 1: that at least you go in and you order something
- 52:58Speaker 1: else to eat or drink because they're not making the
- 53:00Speaker 1: money on the alcohol.
- 53:01Speaker 3: People are not drinking. Now, unfortunately, they're doing other things.
- 53:05Speaker 3: Some- Fine, some not so fine, you know, and I
- 53:11Speaker 3: would caution everyone.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Are mushrooms legal? No, I don't. I feel like nobody
- 53:15Speaker 1: knows the answer. I think they are. I feel like that's.
- 53:18Speaker 3: If administered by a doctor, Silas Silliman.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Then why do people have like chocolate mushrooms? I think
- 53:25Speaker 1: those are illegal. But they're packaged like a Hershey bar.
- 53:28Speaker 4: I know, I know.
- 53:29Speaker 1: They're not like in a baggie.
- 53:31Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't– maybe it's like what the
- 53:33Speaker 4: weed industry used to be.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 53:35Speaker 4: I haven't looked into it that much.
- 53:36Speaker 1: I feel like that's got to be the next thing
- 53:38Speaker 1: that becomes legal.
- 53:39Speaker 3: Well, it will be and there is– it's funny. I
- 53:42Speaker 3: was actually with my psychiatrist recently with him.
- 53:45Speaker 4: I was in a session.
- 53:47Speaker 3: We were hanging out as one does with a psychiatrist. No,
- 53:51Speaker 3: but he was like saying, honestly, alcohol is– the biggest
- 53:56Speaker 3: enemy of psychology. He goes, he goes, I can kind
- 53:59Speaker 3: of rationalize, or I could, I could spin almost every
- 54:03Speaker 3: other substance and realize and understand why people like it.
- 54:08Speaker 3: Why would the benefit, you know, I could be a marijuana.
- 54:10Speaker 3: There's a benefit of mushrooms. You know, there's a benefit
- 54:13Speaker 3: here or whatever. He goes, alcohol is literally, it's like
- 54:17Speaker 3: drinking antifreeze. It, you know, atrophies your brain. You know, you,
- 54:23Speaker 3: forget things you it kills it's just like all these.
- 54:27Speaker 1: And I feel like there's so much more information like
- 54:29Speaker 1: that out there now there is it's really hard to
- 54:33Speaker 1: that you know Dick Van Dyke is like 90 whatever
- 54:37Speaker 1: and I just saw a little thing with him and
- 54:39Speaker 1: he's like my regret is becoming that I was an
- 54:43Speaker 1: alcoholic he's like because if I knew I was gonna
- 54:45Speaker 1: live this long I would have taken care of of
- 54:48Speaker 1: myself better though. He's doing great. But he lived to
- 54:51Speaker 1: 98 and he's still like out and about. Yeah. But
- 54:53Speaker 1: he's saying like, had he not had that issue, even
- 54:56Speaker 1: for me, he might even be living an easier life
- 54:58Speaker 1: at 98. You know what I mean? Like, and he
- 55:02Speaker 1: goes and works it out like three times a week
- 55:04Speaker 1: and everything.
- 55:05Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean, it's a really, we all think, Oh,
- 55:09Speaker 3: when I'm drinking, it's fun.
- 55:10Speaker 4: I mean, but it really takes, obviously the older you get,
- 55:13Speaker 4: it's the worst.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Do you not drink anymore still? Mm. And so for you,
- 55:17Speaker 1: it's been like 10 years. Well, it's been a while.
- 55:19Speaker 3: I took a little break and went back in the
- 55:21Speaker 3: beginning of the pandemic and stuff and, you know, and everything.
- 55:24Speaker 4: But then, no, I'm recommitted to not.
- 55:28Speaker 3: And I don't want to say that. I don't want
- 55:30Speaker 3: to be like, I'm never drinking again because I don't know.
- 55:32Speaker 3: I don't like to make that, you know, but just
- 55:34Speaker 3: right now I'm not.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Shannon, your wife, does she drink? Very little. So if
- 55:41Speaker 1: you guys were at like a wine, like a really
- 55:43Speaker 1: great wine tasting Napa thing, would that encourage you to
- 55:47Speaker 1: be like, I should just try it because this is
- 55:50Speaker 1: like a $ 200 bottle of wine and I'm just curious?
- 55:52Speaker 1: Or you still just absolutely have no desire?
- 55:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's more about the desire. And also I'm one
- 55:58Speaker 3: of those who like when I drink, I can't stop. Oh.
- 56:01Speaker 3: So not I can, but it's like I enjoy it.
- 56:04Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, and you know, wine goes down
- 56:07Speaker 1: very easily.
- 56:08Speaker 4: And the next thing you know.
- 56:09Speaker 3: You're like, oh, that was a full bottle by myself.
- 56:13Speaker 3: And you're like, that's not good. And so I, you know, I,
- 56:18Speaker 3: it just, there's nothing good. And I just, it causes
- 56:22Speaker 3: anxiety and depression.
- 56:24Speaker 1: I'm already depressed. I don't need to add to, I
- 56:25Speaker 1: don't need to aid my depression.
- 56:27Speaker 4: So, you know, it just, you feel better and, you know, there's.
- 56:33Speaker 3: For me, you know, I won't tell anyone else, but
- 56:36Speaker 3: it is funny. Someone was saying, they go, alcohol is
- 56:38Speaker 3: the one thing that's bad for us that when you
- 56:40Speaker 3: tell people you're not doing it, they go, oh, come on, man,
- 56:43Speaker 3: have a drink with me. You know, they like won't accept.
- 56:46Speaker 3: Like if you were like cocaine, you know, you're like,
- 56:49Speaker 3: I am not doing cocaine anymore. Everyone would be like,
- 56:52Speaker 3: that's great that you're not doing that.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Alcohol, they're like, oh, come on, have a drink.
- 56:56Speaker 4: What do you got?
- 56:56Speaker 1: What are you doing? I feel the same way when
- 56:59Speaker 1: someone says I'm not drinking anymore. I'm like, good for you.
- 57:02Speaker 1: The same way when someone says, I don't want to
- 57:04Speaker 1: have kids. I'm like, good for you. Like you're, you
- 57:08Speaker 1: are never going to worry the way I worry every
- 57:11Speaker 1: second of my life. Like you will never know the
- 57:14Speaker 1: stress from when someone doesn't answer your text to go
- 57:18Speaker 1: thinking of the worst scenario to also being on a plane.
- 57:21Speaker 1: I don't know why when I'm on a plane away
- 57:23Speaker 1: from my kids, I go to a psych, a horrible place.
- 57:27Speaker 1: And so I feel.
- 57:28Speaker 3: So isolated when I'm on a plane without my kids.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Yes.
- 57:31Speaker 3: There's something about being just isolated on a plane.
- 57:33Speaker 4: I just go, I'm away from my family. What if
- 57:36Speaker 4: something happens?
- 57:36Speaker 1: And then you start just thinking of what's going to
- 57:39Speaker 1: happen when we land. And the phone goes, I don't know.
- 57:42Speaker 1: So I'm always like, that's great. I think it's so
- 57:44Speaker 1: awful when people do question it. Well, it happens less
- 57:46Speaker 1: and less now. You shouldn't question it. It's a health thing.
- 57:49Speaker 1: It's a personal thing. And it doesn't have to be,
- 57:52Speaker 1: and again, it doesn't have to be this thing that
- 57:54Speaker 1: you never go back to or whatever. For me, I've
- 58:00Speaker 1: always just, I just have always just enjoyed it so much.
- 58:04Speaker 1: As far as like a cold glass of champagne, the
- 58:09Speaker 1: excitement of it.
- 58:10Speaker 3: But you have– except for the one time when Chelsea
- 58:15Speaker 3: had us down to Cabo for the 35th birthday when
- 58:20Speaker 3: you got drunk drinking in the pool.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Yeah. You never lived that down for some reason.
- 58:25Speaker 4: It's like what? You were not allowed to get drunk?
- 58:27Speaker 1: In Cabo. I still made the party. Yeah, you did.
- 58:31Speaker 1: I would miss the appetizers. I still made the party.
- 58:34Speaker 1: You did. It was like fine. But no, there's like.
- 58:37Speaker 3: But you're not the type who's like gets wasted. You know,
- 58:40Speaker 3: it's like you seem to be able to control it.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Well, I think because I knew there was like alcoholism
- 58:46Speaker 1: in my family. And so I was always like... And...
- 58:49Speaker 1: You know, I remember like that movie, Sandra Bullock's movie,
- 58:51Speaker 1: like 28 Days or whatever. And it was always like,
- 58:54Speaker 1: oh my God, whenever that movie came on, I was
- 58:56Speaker 1: always like, I love the beginning of the movie of
- 58:57Speaker 1: how wasted everything she is. When she gets to rehab,
- 59:00Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah. So I'm always like, I just never,
- 59:03Speaker 1: I never wanted to get to that place where like,
- 59:07Speaker 1: I always had to be sober. I wanted to respect.
- 59:10Speaker 1: it because I do like the experience of a cocktail
- 59:13Speaker 1: and I'm so, but I'm not saying I'll never like,
- 59:16Speaker 1: I may stop one day or I remember I used
- 59:19Speaker 1: to think that my dad growing up, I was like,
- 59:21Speaker 1: I think dad's, you know, an alcoholic, whatever. And then
- 59:24Speaker 1: one day it was like, Well, it doesn't, they're like,
- 59:28Speaker 1: oh yeah, this medication doesn't agree with you drinking. And
- 59:31Speaker 1: he's like, all right, fine. And he never really drank again.
- 59:34Speaker 1: And then I was like, maybe you weren't an alcoholic.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Maybe you just enjoyed drinking a lot and you just
- 59:39Speaker 1: had drinks every night. And then the minute they said
- 59:41Speaker 1: you couldn't have drinks, you're like, no problem. Well, that, that,
- 59:44Speaker 1: that happens. That happened to me.
- 59:47Speaker 3: I had some gastrointestinal things, you know, and like I
- 59:51Speaker 3: went in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy and endoscopy is
- 59:54Speaker 3: when they go down your, your throat and everything. And
- 59:57Speaker 3: he's like, man, whatever you're doing, you know, drinking you, you, whatever.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: You're doing, stop, you know? And I was like, and
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: I was like, okay. And I just was like, okay,
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: I won't do that anymore. You know?
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: Uh, and, and it takes like a medical thing, but
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: you're right. It's like, I think like there are times,
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: I think it all depends on what's going on in
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: your life and how, how you're feeling and everything. And
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: there were times when, I was like, I thought about
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: giving up alcohol. I'm like, I can't, I have to,
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: you know, I need, I needed to be able to
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: drink still. And then there are times like now and stuff.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't need it. I don't crave it.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I don't need it.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Well, the thing is, what's kind of great is if
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: you challenge yourself. to go, I'm gonna go to this
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: party and I'm not gonna drink. And I've been doing
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: that lately, or having very little. And part of it
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: is like, hey, I drove, so I can't have more
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: than one, and then in the last two hours I'm
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: gonna have a Diet Coke and whatever. It is such
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: a great feeling that you're like, I didn't need it.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I don't have a headache. I didn't have to do
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: an Uber. I drove myself because I didn't drink. And
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: like the more that you could kind of do it
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: as like a challenge.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Then when you do get to enjoy a drink or two,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: you probably will be good on two.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Versus like four. Yeah. Or like have you ever been
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: on a vacation and then you really count it up
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: and you're like, holy fuck. No, I haven't.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: Shannon does though. she'll count my drinks. And I'm like,
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: I don't need you to do that.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I thought you said you don't drink. No, I'm saying,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: but when I did. Oh, back wet. Yeah, she would
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: count drinks and stuff. And, you know, when I do drink. No,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: I'd count it at night and I'd be like, oh
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: my God, wait, there was this at lunch and there
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: was this at da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. And then you're like, oh.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: And you just go, oh.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: And you just, as much as I try to convince myself, oh,
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: I feel fine. You're like, you feel fine.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Well, you know, the rules would change. Like, they would
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: be like, One glass of red wine is good for–
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: It's a heart. Is it good for your heart for
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: a woman? And now they're like, no, it's not. It's bullshit.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: It's not good for anybody at any time in your life.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I know. I know. Well, there you go. Bud's kill. Here,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: scientists create a drink that cuts blood alcohol levels half
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: in just 30 minutes. And I was like– So what?
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: You get the buzz but then it like resets you
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: so you don't– Get a DUI?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: It's kind of like Narcon for drug addicts. Oh, it
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: brings down. Yeah. First I thought it was like so
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: that you could leave the bar and not going to
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: do it. No, it doesn't like make your brain sober.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: It just will like make it so you can't have
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: alcohol poisoning.
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: Got it.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: What do you think Meghan Markle should do with her life?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: They said she might be dropped by her talent agencies
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: over this latest book. I feel like no one cares
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: about this book. Nobody cares about this book.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: No one cares about anything.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Look at this. This is the guy who wrote the book.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: He's like some young guy doing selfies. How did he
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: end up knowing about the book?
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: Are they going to bring back Suits? You should just
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: focus on that.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: Is she going to be part of it?
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Are they bringing back Suits?
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Yeah, because it had a second life on Netflix.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Are they really bringing back all those people? I don't know.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: They haven't consulted me. I'm waiting for the phone call
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: when they ask about casting decisions.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I think– I still think there's a chance that she
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: is going to have to end up on a reality show.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: That would be– and then do they get Harry to
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: be on it? He's going to have to be. Yeah,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: he's going to have to. He's going to have to be.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Did you know that Tim Allen was a little bitch
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: on Santa Claus?
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: That's not a shock. And by the way, Casey Wilson.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: Remember, she guest hosted Jocelyn. Great. Yeah, of course.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Did you have a good time with her? Turn your
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: body over.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I'm looking at the photo. Yeah, great. Tim Allen.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Yeah, we kind of know he was kind of a
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: curmudgeon-y dick.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: You know, Casey Wilson was so... nice when she guest
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: hosted and i was whatever probably involved in that guest
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: hosting for some reason like helping her with the day
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and she wrote me like a handwritten note.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: That's very nice no she's very nice she married a
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: guy i actually went to preschool with and then he
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: moved away to chicago did you know that no you
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: didn't now you do you're welcome juicy scoopers.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: What else is going on before we wrap it up?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: I have a great podcast you should listen to, Funny Energy. Yes.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: You will be on it in the new year.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: When we record more. I definitely will be. And it's great.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: It's me and an energy practitioner. We talk to comedians
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: and other people.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Tell us about one of your favorite episodes.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: Well, Natasha Leggero was our first episode. That was a
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: great episode. And then recently we had Jordana Brewster on,
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: Abigail Spencer on.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Um what are they discovering about their energy i.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: I think you know it's all depends on so like
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: you know tasha they worked uh we worked on talks
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: a lot about uh being a mother and how she
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: was hesitant and resistant you know a little about being
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: a mother scared really more like you know and kind
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: of working through all that it's kind of how it
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: all relates to their comedy and everything obviously not everyone
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: is a straight comedian for example georgina brewster abigail but
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: it's It really is interesting. Jackie, my co-host, the energy practitioner,
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: she's really fantastic. And she is like just so well-spoken
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: and just gets this whole world. And, you know, I
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: know a lot of people are like, oh, it's so froofy.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: And it's like, no, she really is kind of like
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: she taps into a lot of stuff. And it's just
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: a great sounding.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Board and everything.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: What are you doing for the holidays with your kids?
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: We're here.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: I'm going skiing for a couple of days.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Where are you going skiing?
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: Tahoe.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Nice. What about you? Do all the kids ski? Does
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: everyone ski? The whole family?
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: That's the best activity for our family.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: It's the most elitist activity you could do as a family.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: I think being.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: An equestrian is more.
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: Oh, you're right, actually.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: And a race car driver.
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: Formula One, you're right.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: NASCAR, not so much.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: But Formula One, which depends on what tier.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: You're right.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: But no, I think you're right. Equestrian is probably the most.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: But skiing is the greatest activity because we can all
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: do it. It's an all-day activity. We all do it.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: There's no devices, no screens. No, and you can hook
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: up later. You can meet different times. So my skiing
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: history is that I have skied consecutively since I met Peter.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I have never improved.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: Well, you started too late.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: At all.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: You started too late. No, I skied in college too.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: Well, that's still too late.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: No, I'm just bad.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: You had to be like, yeah, I started at age three.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: No, I'm just bad. I'm a beautiful skier. I never
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: got better.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: And now- You weren't as elite as I was as
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: a youth.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: And now I kind of feel like, well, now no
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: one wants to ski with me. And it's been like
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: that for a few years because they're all good. Okay.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: So I have them.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: Your sons ski or snowboard?
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: They ski.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: That's good.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: And they, you know, double black diamonds, whatever. Okay. And so,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: you know, I'm like, okay, just go down like one
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: easy run with me and then like leave and then
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I'll meet you at lunch. And- but I still want
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: to do it because I still have that feeling of like,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: I can't go to the snow and not do it. Yeah.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: But every time I'm like, I think this should be
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: the last time. Why am I bothering to go down?
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I do like kind of, that's pretty. I like to
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: go down it. But then I have that same feeling
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: of like, I paid for this ticket. So I should
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: at least go down this like three more times. And
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: then on the third time, then I feel like, I
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: know it's, it's such a hard, it's like, It can't
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: feel like an obligation. It's the same noise I have
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: in my head about finishing a meal.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: I got to make sure someone can get my house.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: What?
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: I left a house key out and I forgot to
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: tell them where it was.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I'm sorry. This is going on. We're talking about elitist.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: We're talking about skiing vacations. Skiing vacations. I have to
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: interrupt because I have a- You're a housekeeper coming? Yes. Yeah.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Hold on. Anyway. Brad Wallach, thanks for killing the mood.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: Sorry, sorry.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Tell everybody where they can follow you. At Brad Wallach
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: on Instagram.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: And, yeah, come on the gram and come find me.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: We have fun. I try to.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Mostly have fun. Yeah.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: I try to leave politics out of it for 99%
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: of it.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Sometimes you can, and that's okay.
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: Sometimes, you know, you can't. It leaks in.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: And that's okay. But otherwise, yeah, I'm around, Heather.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: I'm here. I want to come back on Juicy Scoop.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: That's what I love. This is my new favorite thing
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: to do.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I really enjoy it. The Juicy Scoopers enjoy you as well.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: They really do.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: My new thing is to be close to Frangola as
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: a fan favorite. I know I can't overtake him, but
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: he's my favorite too.
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: So, you know.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: He's everyone's favorite.
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: You can't compete. Thank you.
