- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Trump's leadership.
- 0:21Speaker 1: I'm Christy nom the United States Secretary of Homeland Security.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Under President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings are at the
- 0:29Speaker 1: lowest levels ever recorded, and over one hundred thousand illegal
- 0:33Speaker 1: aliens have been arrested. If you are here illegally, your
- 0:37Speaker 1: next you will be fined nearly one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned,
- 0:41Speaker 1: and deported.
- 0:42Speaker 2: You will never return.
- 0:44Speaker 1: But if you register using our CBP home app and
- 0:47Speaker 1: leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Do what's right. Leave now.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Under President Trump, America's laws, border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 4: The difference between leasing and buying a car. What are
- 1:04Speaker 4: some key differences in leasing a car and buying a car?
- 1:07Speaker 5: Well, on at least most people, you'll hear that A
- 1:10Speaker 5: lot people say, well, you don't own the car, right.
- 1:12Speaker 5: The truth is, do you want to own a vehicle
- 1:14Speaker 5: that's going to lose value?
- 1:15Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:16Speaker 5: Very rarely do cars go up in value. So that's
- 1:18Speaker 5: why leasing is so prevalent, seventy eighty percent, Like you said,
- 1:21Speaker 5: of people leased to vehicles, when you're financing the vehicle,
- 1:24Speaker 5: you do, you technically own it, but the bank owns
- 1:27Speaker 5: it while you're financing, So until you pay it off,
- 1:30Speaker 5: the vehicle still belongs to the bank title the titles
- 1:33Speaker 5: held by the bank. You're not the owner of that vehicle.
- 1:36Speaker 4: That's something that's a common misconception. You don't own a
- 1:38Speaker 4: car the way until you finally pay it off. And
- 1:41Speaker 4: then when you do pay it off, most people want
- 1:43Speaker 4: to trade it in.
- 1:43Speaker 6: They want to trade it in right away old by
- 1:45Speaker 6: the time you own it now it's old exactly.
- 1:47Speaker 4: But another thing with the leasing that people don't fully
- 1:50Speaker 4: understand it is like for me personally, right, the reason
- 1:52Speaker 4: why at least is that I'm a business owner, right,
- 1:56Speaker 4: so I get better tax treaming for leasing the car exactly,
- 1:58Speaker 4: Whereas like with the lease, I could off the insurance,
- 2:01Speaker 4: the gas, and the least payment formula percentage, we won't
- 2:04Speaker 4: get too complicated in it. But I can write that
- 2:06Speaker 4: off on my taxes. If I own the car, then
- 2:09Speaker 4: I can only I have to go by the depreciation,
- 2:11Speaker 4: correctcause it's a own I get less of a tax
- 2:14Speaker 4: benefit for owning a car, So it's in my benefit
- 2:17Speaker 4: to lease the car because it's pretty much a rite
- 2:20Speaker 4: off for me, and I don't have to worry about maintenance. Right,
- 2:24Speaker 4: So I never haven't gotten I haven't paid for oil
- 2:27Speaker 4: change and I can't remember when because all at least
- 2:29Speaker 4: everything is paid for, yes, and then I get a
- 2:33Speaker 4: new car every three years. Now I always sell, like
- 2:36Speaker 4: if you want to. Everybody's personal preference is different. You
- 2:38Speaker 4: can't foreshel views on somebody, right, Like if you want
- 2:41Speaker 4: to keep a car for ten years, that shit right,
- 2:44Speaker 4: you can do that. I don't want to do that.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I want to get a new car. So I know
- 2:48Speaker 4: it's going to cost me a lot more money to
- 2:49Speaker 4: buy a car and then buy a new car every
- 2:51Speaker 4: three years as opposed to leasing a car and then
- 2:54Speaker 4: getting a new car every three years. And the upfront
- 2:57Speaker 4: is less, right.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely, lead You only pay let's say the taxes.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Right when you're financing in a vehicle, you pay tax
- 3:04Speaker 5: on the whole price of the car, or on a
- 3:06Speaker 5: lease you only pay tax and let's say the monthly payment.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Depending on the state and where you're registering the car,
- 3:10Speaker 5: Let's say like New York, you're only paying tax on
- 3:12Speaker 5: the monthly payment.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Right. So I think that that's something that people could
- 3:17Speaker 4: And as far as for me, I don't drive a lot,
- 3:19Speaker 4: so twelve thousand miles. I never go with twelve thousand miles.
- 3:22Speaker 4: I usually hit like eleven ten to five, So it's
- 3:26Speaker 4: perfect for me. But you were saying, even if you
- 3:28Speaker 4: do go with twelve thousand.
- 3:29Speaker 5: That's a big misconception. Also, it's a lot of people
- 3:31Speaker 5: think that if I drive a lot of mileage, I
- 3:33Speaker 5: shouldn't be leasing. You know, you hear a lot of
- 3:35Speaker 5: people come in and they say, you know, I do
- 3:36Speaker 5: fifteen twenty thousand miles a year, I shouldn't you know,
- 3:38Speaker 5: leasing is not for me. I think the contrary.
- 3:40Speaker 4: It's the way I.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Look at it is when you're leasing the vehicle, even
- 3:44Speaker 5: if it's a high mileage, least you know your true
- 3:46Speaker 5: cost of ownership. Like you said, with maintenance, right, you
- 3:48Speaker 5: know that you're gonna have this car three years. You're
- 3:50Speaker 5: gonna put fifteen thousand miles a year, you'll have forty
- 3:52Speaker 5: five thousand miles most warranties, or let's say four year,
- 3:56Speaker 5: fifty thousand mile bumper to bump a warranty, so you'll
- 3:58Speaker 5: still covered under your warranty, you see what I mean.
- 4:00Speaker 5: So you'll be able to look at it and say, hey,
- 4:02Speaker 5: you know what, I know exactly what I'm going to
- 4:03Speaker 5: be paying every month for this car as long as
- 4:05Speaker 5: I have my lease. Now, when you're financing a car
- 4:07Speaker 5: and you're putting high mileage on the car, the two
- 4:09Speaker 5: things that lower the value of the car quickest is
- 4:12Speaker 5: the amount of mileedge you put on it and the
- 4:14Speaker 5: condition of the car. So let's save the vehicle is
- 4:16Speaker 5: in an accident. So if I'm leasing my car and
- 4:20Speaker 5: and someone in that my next door neighbor's buying their vehicle,
- 4:23Speaker 5: they're financing their car in three years, I have a
- 4:25Speaker 5: lot more flexibility of what I can do. I don't
- 4:28Speaker 5: have to worry about if my car was in an accident,
- 4:30Speaker 5: or does somebody key my car? Did a garbage truck
- 4:32Speaker 5: come down the street to hit my car? Because their
- 4:34Speaker 5: value is dropped. Now, So now you're playing this guessing
- 4:36Speaker 5: game of well, wait a minute, what is my car
- 4:39Speaker 5: now worth? And you run into a situation where you
- 4:41Speaker 5: finally pay off your car. You put money into the
- 4:43Speaker 5: vehicle trying to fix it, and they turn around and say, hey,
- 4:45Speaker 5: your car's worth six thousand dollars.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Now.
- 4:48Speaker 5: The other thing that we talked about was that technology
- 4:50Speaker 5: is moving so fast, so things get antiquated quick. So
- 4:55Speaker 5: that's why leasing is nice because in three years you
- 4:58Speaker 5: may not need a small sedan right now. In three years,
- 5:00Speaker 5: your life changes. You have a family, you have kids.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Now I want to skuv.
- 5:04Speaker 4: My lease is up.
- 5:05Speaker 5: I come out of the liasing, I go into the
- 5:07Speaker 5: brand new SUV if I want to.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Can't fit in COUD anymore?
- 5:10Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 5:10Speaker 6: Yeah, Now that's true. Technology changes, even like the FELP
- 5:13Speaker 6: I have now, Like I saw the two thousand, twenty
- 5:15Speaker 6: twenty mode, I'm like, wait, yeah, that is ridiculous, Like
- 5:17Speaker 6: I need that technology now. So it's like you can
- 5:20Speaker 6: just come in every three years. Man, that's a that's
- 5:22Speaker 6: a huge benefit in leasing. One of the things that
- 5:25Speaker 6: is important when you lease in all finances is the
- 5:27Speaker 6: credit Yep, how.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Does that work?
- 5:29Speaker 6: Is there a specific bureau that car dealerships use or
- 5:33Speaker 6: the bank, so it.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Varies between manufacturers, so different banks. So let's say if
- 5:38Speaker 5: you're going to Honda Honda Financial, Toyota has Toyota Motive Credit,
- 5:41Speaker 5: Mercedes Benz has Mercedes Benz Financial. They all have different criterias, right,
- 5:45Speaker 5: So it's not it's not a blanket as far as
- 5:48Speaker 5: what they use. Some people use transunions, some people use
- 5:50Speaker 5: echo facts. Other manufacturers use what's called the auto score.
- 5:54Speaker 5: So an autoscore means your automotive history. So even if
- 5:57Speaker 5: you had some trouble on your credit but they saw,
- 5:59Speaker 5: let's say, for whatever reason, you had some medical bills
- 6:01Speaker 5: or something happened, but you always paid your car node
- 6:04Speaker 5: on time. The bank may look at that and say, hey,
- 6:06Speaker 5: well wait a minute, yeah, they missed some payments over here,
- 6:10Speaker 5: but they always paid their car on time. So that
- 6:12Speaker 5: means that, hey, you know what, this person needs that car.
- 6:14Speaker 5: They need to get to work, they need.
- 6:15Speaker 3: To provide erners. What's up.

- 8:07Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 8:11Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 8:15Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas. Man of Venezuelan charged with
- 8:19Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 8:23Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 8:27Speaker 1: Donald J.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the.
- 8:30Speaker 1: United States Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted
- 8:34Speaker 1: illegal border crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded,
- 8:38Speaker 1: and over one hundred thousand illegal aliens.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Have been arrested.
- 8:42Speaker 1: If you are here illegally, your next you will be
- 8:45Speaker 1: fine nearly one thousand dollars a day. Imprisoned and deported,
- 8:50Speaker 1: you will never return. But if you register using our
- 8:53Speaker 1: CBP home app and leave now. You could be allowed
- 8:56Speaker 1: to return legally, do what's right.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Leave now.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Under President Trump America's laws, border and families will.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Be protected sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 9:07Speaker 5: For their family. So no matter what happens, they're going
- 9:09Speaker 5: to take care of that monthly payment.
- 9:11Speaker 4: And another thing I want people to think too. A
- 9:12Speaker 4: lot of times people will look at it like, Okay, well,
- 9:15Speaker 4: I'm not a business owner and we're talking about luxury
- 9:17Speaker 4: cars just because we have luxury cars. But it's the
- 9:19Speaker 4: conversations for any type of puss doesn't matter. But also
- 9:22Speaker 4: people have to realize is that you don't have to
- 9:25Speaker 4: be a full time entrepreneur to be an entrepreneur because
- 9:28Speaker 4: the tax system. I can't stress this. The tax system
- 9:31Speaker 4: is set up for entrepreneurs and investors. It's not set
- 9:34Speaker 4: up for employees, right, So as an entrepreneur, you get
- 9:38Speaker 4: all kinds of benefits. You can write off meals, you
- 9:40Speaker 4: can write off travel, you can write off almost anything
- 9:43Speaker 4: realistically as long as it makes sense. Don't get what
- 9:46Speaker 4: it is. And cars is one of the things that
- 9:49Speaker 4: you can write off. Right. So if you work in
- 9:51Speaker 4: a regular job and you might have a side hustle,
- 9:53Speaker 4: why not get that incorporated, get LLC, get a see court,
- 9:56Speaker 4: whatever you want to do, and get a tax id
- 9:59Speaker 4: opening up account. Now you have a business. So now
- 10:02Speaker 4: you can lease that from your side hustle business, and
- 10:05Speaker 4: you can deduct the same deductions like if you work
- 10:07Speaker 4: the regular job. Right Like now that goes against any
- 10:10Speaker 4: money that you make on that. And so I say
- 10:12Speaker 4: that to say we have to think like business people.
- 10:15Speaker 4: And you don't even have to actually be a full
- 10:18Speaker 4: time business owner. Salespeople as well, right, if you're a
- 10:21Speaker 4: ten ninety nine or if you are in some form
- 10:25Speaker 4: of sales where you can take deductions like real estate
- 10:27Speaker 4: stuff like that. Insurance you sell insurance the same thing.
- 10:31Speaker 4: So a lot of times people, you know, they have
- 10:34Speaker 4: negative views towards things because they don't they have a
- 10:36Speaker 4: lack of understanding.
- 10:37Speaker 3: There.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Once you have a lack of understanding, and like I said, now,
- 10:40Speaker 4: if you still choose to do that, then it's your
- 10:42Speaker 4: decisions free country. But a lot of times we make
- 10:45Speaker 4: decisions based out of ignorance not knowledge, right, So exactly, so,
- 10:49Speaker 4: one of the things I want to ask you was
- 10:50Speaker 4: you said MSRP versus price, right, what's the what's the
- 10:54Speaker 4: difference selling price?
- 10:55Speaker 3: All right?
- 10:55Speaker 5: So yeah, so you have MSRP, right, that's what's on
- 10:57Speaker 5: the windows sticker. Right, So the manufacturers sugg just the
- 11:00Speaker 5: retail price of the vehicle. That's MSRPA. Manufacturer suggests the
- 11:03Speaker 5: retail price. That's what they recommend you should be selling
- 11:06Speaker 5: that car for. Now. The selling price is what you negotiate,
- 11:09Speaker 5: right or whatever. However you can reduce the selling price
- 11:12Speaker 5: of the vehicle. That's what that comes down to.
- 11:14Speaker 6: Is that the same thing as the cap cost.
- 11:15Speaker 5: So no cap cost. Let's say you're leasing or your
- 11:18Speaker 5: finance in the vehicle. The final cap cost is the
- 11:21Speaker 5: selling price plus anything else. So whatever money the bank
- 11:24Speaker 5: is lending you, whether it's a lease or finance, they're
- 11:27Speaker 5: still lending a certain amount of money. So let's send
- 11:28Speaker 5: a lease. If you rolled your taxes into your payment,
- 11:31Speaker 5: that's going to add to your cap cost. If you
- 11:33Speaker 5: negotiated a fifty thousand dollars selling price and then you
- 11:36Speaker 5: rolled your taxes of two thousand dollars into the lease,
- 11:38Speaker 5: that's fifty two thousand dollars cap cost.
- 11:40Speaker 6: And is that negotiable.
- 11:42Speaker 5: Well, it's based on what you negotiate. As far as
- 11:44Speaker 5: you'll say you're selling price, so whatever fees you put
- 11:47Speaker 5: into it, those aren't negotiable. Those let's say taxes and
- 11:49Speaker 5: DMV fees, things like that.
- 11:51Speaker 4: So all right, we talked about okay, talk about leasing
- 11:54Speaker 4: a car, but buying car. Somebody wants to buy a car, right,
- 11:56Speaker 4: and you were saying, most of the time, if you
- 11:57Speaker 4: do want to buy a car, it makes more sense
- 11:59Speaker 4: to buy a use.
- 12:00Speaker 5: I always recommend people, if you are going to buy
- 12:02Speaker 5: a car, buy a certified pre on. Now, listen, there's
- 12:05Speaker 5: vehicles you can find out these lots that are not
- 12:07Speaker 5: authorized the same Mercedes Benz dealerships or Toyota dealership. Me personally,
- 12:12Speaker 5: I think you're better off going to You may pay
- 12:14Speaker 5: a couple of dollars more, but you're getting it from
- 12:17Speaker 5: the manufacturer, so you have the backing of manufacturers. And
- 12:20Speaker 5: just give you an idea. Most companies, when they certify
- 12:22Speaker 5: a vehicle, the vehicle goes through let's say, you know,
- 12:24Speaker 5: one hundred and fifty point one hundred and sixty point inspection.
- 12:27Speaker 5: So not only will they inspect a vehicle to make
- 12:30Speaker 5: sure that it's in a certain conditions, so they'll eliminate
- 12:32Speaker 5: things like let's say this frame damage to the car.
- 12:34Speaker 5: If the car is frame damage, doesn't qualify for a certification,
- 12:37Speaker 5: so it's eliminated. Most dealerships won't even take that car.
- 12:40Speaker 5: They'll send that car out. And that's where you'll see
- 12:42Speaker 5: the vehicles on these other side lots right and they're
- 12:44Speaker 5: selling those vehicles. So there's really no recourse when it
- 12:47Speaker 5: comes to something happened to the car. Not to mention
- 12:50Speaker 5: the factor. Once that car goes through the certification, a
- 12:52Speaker 5: lot of manufacturers will put new car interest rates on
- 12:56Speaker 5: those cars. So typically pre owned cars are used cars
- 12:59Speaker 5: will have a higher interest rate than a new car.
- 13:01Speaker 5: But if it's certified, you get a better interest rate.
- 13:03Speaker 5: So like right now, like let's say you have one
- 13:05Speaker 5: point nine nine percent, you can't get one nine nine
- 13:07Speaker 5: percent on a used car, you know, anywhere else, you
- 13:09Speaker 5: know what I mean. If the vehicle's certified, that's the
- 13:12Speaker 5: way to do it. Me personally, the vehicles, as you
- 13:14Speaker 5: guys have all heard this, people say, oh, well, the
- 13:17Speaker 5: vehicle loses value as soon as you drive it off
- 13:19Speaker 5: the lot. Now what happens is really it's once it's
- 13:21Speaker 5: registered the vehicle loses value. That's when that's when the
- 13:24Speaker 5: vehicle loses value. That's normally when you're driving off the lot.
- 13:26Speaker 3: That's when you got it brand new.
- 13:28Speaker 5: So yeah, when you're buying the car brand new, it
- 13:30Speaker 5: initially loses its value when you drive it off a
- 13:32Speaker 5: lot or the vehicle is titled. So now you're buying
- 13:35Speaker 5: a vehicle, who's going to that's gonna depreciate in value.
- 13:37Speaker 5: That's what a car does. It's going to go down
- 13:39Speaker 5: in value. So you're financing a car that's losing value.
- 13:42Speaker 5: It already took a big hit, right when you're buying
- 13:44Speaker 5: new opposed to a certified pre onn that the initial
- 13:46Speaker 5: depreciation has already happened. It's already taking place that you
- 13:50Speaker 5: knew that car was taking care of. The manufacturer, the dealership,
- 13:53Speaker 5: you know, is putting themselves behind that vehicle saying, hey,
- 13:55Speaker 5: we know this vehicle, We've inspected this vehicle, we know
- 13:57Speaker 5: this vehicle's in good shape. We're willing to even put
- 14:01Speaker 5: a new car rate on it. So you have some
- 14:03Speaker 5: more confidence when they buying that type of vehicle. Okay,
- 14:05Speaker 5: all right.
- 14:23Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 14:26Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from al Salvador
- 14:31Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 14:35Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 14:39Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 14:43Speaker 1: Donald J.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Trump's leadership.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I'm Christy nom the United States Secretary of Homeland Security.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Under President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings are at the
- 14:52Speaker 1: lowest levels ever recorded, and over one hundred thousand illegal
- 14:56Speaker 1: aliens have been arrested.
- 14:57Speaker 2: If you were here.
