- 0:00Speaker 1: Bat to Marshamo on wor.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Well, what's the day to day Tuesday? I've already went out.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I'm worn out already. I've been off for a couple
- 0:13Speaker 2: of weeks. This is exhausting. Two days in a row
- 0:16Speaker 2: of this, this is you see. Yeah, you get out
- 0:18Speaker 2: of shape, you know you. Yeah, But we'll get back
- 0:22Speaker 2: into it five days a week. We got lots to
- 0:24Speaker 2: get to this hour. Actually, I got thousands and thousands
- 0:27Speaker 2: of pages of stuff here that I wanted to talk
- 0:30Speaker 2: about that I never got to mention. But we'll get
- 0:32Speaker 2: to it all before the week is over. We try
- 0:35Speaker 2: to be like a pipeline to the real story. You know,
- 0:39Speaker 2: if you're watching fake news, you get bombarded with all
- 0:42Speaker 2: this nonsense. The CBS Evening News, as we mentioned yesterday,
- 0:46Speaker 2: it's getting a little better. They're cleaning up their act
- 0:48Speaker 2: a little. It's still partisan, but not as much as
- 0:51Speaker 2: the other networks. They're cleaning it up. They're getting a
- 0:53Speaker 2: little more heading towards the center. They'll never quite get there,
- 0:59Speaker 2: but they're getting closer to it. A big mix up
- 1:02Speaker 2: yesterday on the CBS Evening News. It was great to watch.
- 1:05Speaker 2: They didn't seem to know what story they were going
- 1:07Speaker 2: to next. The guy finished the Maduro story. The new anchor,
- 1:11Speaker 2: good looking guy, I can't remember his name. I think
- 1:15Speaker 2: they're trying to copy David Mewer. That's the most successful
- 1:18Speaker 2: evening newscast in fact, in many weeks, it's the number
- 1:21Speaker 2: one show in all the television and even primetime. So
- 1:25Speaker 2: I think they're looking for that formula. Real good looking,
- 1:27Speaker 2: a mannequin sort of a guy, keep the graphics, everything
- 1:31Speaker 2: moving real fast. That's what they're going to try. So
- 1:35Speaker 2: they finished the story Maduro, and then he thought they
- 1:37Speaker 2: were going to the Mark Kelly story, but they put
- 1:41Speaker 2: up a different graphic and then he stops right on
- 1:43Speaker 2: the eggs. Wait a minute, which story were we on?
- 1:45Speaker 2: And they're talking to him in his earphone and everybody's
- 1:47Speaker 2: getting confused. They tell him which story. He goes to that,
- 1:50Speaker 2: but the graphics still come up something else. But he
- 1:54Speaker 2: handled it pretty well. He handled it pretty well, he said,
- 1:57Speaker 2: first week, everything's going crazy. It's okay. It actually went
- 2:01Speaker 2: viral that clip. It's pretty good actually, because they may
- 2:05Speaker 2: have even done it deliberately, because it gets a lot
- 2:07Speaker 2: of attention that there's a new anchor that when people
- 2:11Speaker 2: see a clip like that everywhere. It's good promotion. It's
- 2:13Speaker 2: better than any advertising you could buy. But we try
- 2:17Speaker 2: to bring you the straight story, like here's the real facts,
- 2:20Speaker 2: here's what's really going on. Here's what they don't tell
- 2:22Speaker 2: you in fake news. They just leave a lot of
- 2:25Speaker 2: stuff out, you know, like when it comes to Maduro,
- 2:29Speaker 2: they don't tell you. You know, when Schumer says, how
- 2:31Speaker 2: this is the most outrageous, illegal, most crazy thing anybody's
- 2:36Speaker 2: ever done, they never point out on any of these
- 2:39Speaker 2: fake newscasts that for ten years Schumer has been calling
- 2:43Speaker 2: for this. Every Democrat, Pelosi, Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, everybody you
- 2:47Speaker 2: can name, they've been yelling and screaming to get rid
- 2:50Speaker 2: of Maduro, to take them out, to remove all screaming
- 2:53Speaker 2: about it. And they're just children. They're just childish. Now
- 2:56Speaker 2: that it happened, they act like they hate it. Then
- 2:59Speaker 2: they make up all this it's a violation of international law.
- 3:02Speaker 2: They never tell you there's no such thing anywhere as
- 3:04Speaker 2: any international law that the United States has to follow
- 3:08Speaker 2: international law. Where is this international law coming from? And
- 3:13Speaker 2: then they tell you the War Powers Act. This has
- 3:15Speaker 2: nothing to do with the War Powers Act. If you
- 3:18Speaker 2: wanted to go to war. First of all, you know,
- 3:20Speaker 2: if you went to war, you don't have to follow
- 3:21Speaker 2: the War Powers Act. But that's really what it's for.
- 3:24Speaker 2: If you decided to go to war with the country.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It doesn't apply to quick two hour military operations. It
- 3:31Speaker 2: has nothing to do with that. You don't need any approval.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Here's Mike Johnson.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Despite the claims by some of my colleagues, under the
- 3:38Speaker 3: War Powers Act, there is no requirement for prior congressional
- 3:42Speaker 3: approval or prior notification. And in fact, in this case,
- 3:46Speaker 3: the intelligence was so sensitive the conditions had to be perfect.
- 3:50Speaker 3: There was no predetermination of when exactly it would occur.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a top secret. You can't you're gonna trust
- 3:55Speaker 2: that with Hakeim Jeffries. And then this Schumer, you know,
- 3:59Speaker 2: with his new glasses, he gets all bent out of shape.
- 4:01Speaker 2: You see the glasses fogging up. He gets mad.
- 4:04Speaker 4: I did not receive any assurances that we would not
- 4:08Speaker 4: try to do the same thing in other countries. And
- 4:12Speaker 4: in conclusion, when the United States engages in this kind
- 4:17Speaker 4: of regime change and so called nation building, it always
- 4:22Speaker 4: ends up hurting the United States.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Well then, why were you calling for it for ten years?
- 4:26Speaker 2: For ten years, you've been demanding it. I give credit
- 4:30Speaker 2: to CNN. They had that awful Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy
- 4:34Speaker 2: on last night, who's such a hypocrite on this that
- 4:37Speaker 2: they actually on CNN they actually confronted him with it.
- 4:41Speaker 2: They put up his statement from like a year ago
- 4:43Speaker 2: calling for the immediate capture and the ouster of Maduro.
- 4:47Speaker 2: It was such a flip flop. They even confronted him
- 4:50Speaker 2: about it, and he didn't know what the hell does
- 4:52Speaker 2: say getting rid of Maduro. It's a great thing. Here's
- 4:54Speaker 2: Stephen Miller.
- 4:54Speaker 5: And as a result of that cooperation, the people of
- 4:57Speaker 5: Venezuela are going to become richer than they ever have before.
- 4:59Speaker 5: Co The United States is gonna benefit from this massively
- 5:03Speaker 5: in terms of economic security and military cooperation kind of narcotics,
- 5:08Speaker 5: counter terrorism, and every other dimension of our security.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Again, I don't know what the hell he was doing
- 5:12Speaker 2: with drugs. Why would Maduro get involved with drugs. He's
- 5:15Speaker 2: sitting on twenty percent of the world's oil. Is seventeen
- 5:19Speaker 2: trillion dollars worth of oil right under the ground there.
- 5:22Speaker 2: All you'd do is take it out, and you could
- 5:24Speaker 2: be the whole country with all that oil. They could
- 5:27Speaker 2: all be Saudi princes, they could all be oligarchs, everybody
- 5:30Speaker 2: in the country. It would look like a Dubai. It's
- 5:34Speaker 2: easy to do. Just fix the infrastructure and start pumping
- 5:38Speaker 2: the oil. There's three hundred billion barrels there underneath. So
- 5:43Speaker 2: the other thing the fake news does, besides leaving out
- 5:47Speaker 2: ninety percent of the story so you don't get the
- 5:49Speaker 2: full picture, they create these myths, these narratives. You know,
- 5:55Speaker 2: like Marjorie Taylor Green had a big fight with Trump,
- 5:58Speaker 2: not that he had much to do with her. I mean,
- 6:00Speaker 2: met her a couple of times, but he had really
- 6:02Speaker 2: no connection with her. Once in a while they be
- 6:04Speaker 2: together at some event or something, but very little connection
- 6:08Speaker 2: to Marjorie Tayler Green. She got mad, they got no
- 6:10Speaker 2: fight about something. She anyway, she quit, She's leaving. And
- 6:15Speaker 2: you'll see these stories all over fake news. Maga torn apart.
- 6:19Speaker 2: There's a rift in MAGA. All the Mega's torn apart
- 6:22Speaker 2: by this nobody in MAGA. There are some people like
- 6:25Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green, but it's a bunch of people away
- 6:28Speaker 2: over there, has nothing to do with MAGA. It's like
- 6:31Speaker 2: Steve Bannon will criticize Trump. Remember Steve Bannon. He's still around,
- 6:35Speaker 2: but you'll see Civil War and Mega. Steve Bannon has
- 6:40Speaker 2: nothing to do with the most of MAGA. If you
- 6:44Speaker 2: go in the cabinet room with Rubio and Scott Bessant
- 6:47Speaker 2: and Doug Bergham, they're not they're not thinking about Steve Bannon,
- 6:52Speaker 2: they're not worried about it. Nobody cares. It's like this
- 6:55Speaker 2: guy George Conway. You remember George Conway. Was that a
- 7:00Speaker 2: thing called the Lincoln Project. You remember how he went
- 7:02Speaker 2: after Trump. He had been married to the great Kelly
- 7:05Speaker 2: Ann Conway, but then they broke up when he went
- 7:09Speaker 2: insane literally, insane politically, and he's been attacking Trump. Remember
- 7:16Speaker 2: that Lincoln Project where they really went after him, all
- 7:18Speaker 2: kinds of made up nonsense. So now Conway is coming
- 7:21Speaker 2: to New York. He's gonna run for the seat. Is
- 7:25Speaker 2: it Jerry Nadler's seat. Jerry Nadler's not running for reelection.
- 7:29Speaker 2: He's decided to leave Congress and just devote full time
- 7:32Speaker 2: to eating. So a Conway will run for the seat.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Now he doesn't live here, He lives in Maryland. He
- 7:40Speaker 2: used to live here, I don't know, ten years ago,
- 7:42Speaker 2: fifteen years he lived here, but he's been living in Maryland's.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I don't know how he run for this seat, but
- 7:46Speaker 2: he's gonna do it. So if you watch the fake news,
- 7:49Speaker 2: the MS, Now Morning Joe, fake stuff, all they keep
- 7:52Speaker 2: talking about is if George Conway wins, it'll be an
- 7:56Speaker 2: incredible thorn in the side of Donald Trump. He'll be
- 8:00Speaker 2: owing after Donald Trump. It'll be an incredible at tax
- 8:04Speaker 2: on Donald. No again, nobody in that cabinet room cares
- 8:08Speaker 2: about George Conway. If you mention the name, they'd look
- 8:11Speaker 2: at you. You have to describe him for two minutes
- 8:13Speaker 2: before they remember who the hell he is. No matter
- 8:15Speaker 2: how much he attacks him, it can't be any more
- 8:18Speaker 2: than he's already been attacking him. And it doesn't mean
- 8:20Speaker 2: anything to them now. And let's say he had that
- 8:22Speaker 2: congressional seat and used it to attack Trump, Well, it'd
- 8:25Speaker 2: be the same thing as Nadler. Nobody was a bigger
- 8:27Speaker 2: critic than Nadler. It means absolutely nothing, nothing to Donald
- 8:33Speaker 2: Trump or MAGA or anything. But they build it up
- 8:35Speaker 2: like it's some big problem. And then there's this pole
- 8:39Speaker 2: that they released today, one of those aps. Something Reuter
- 8:43Speaker 2: is some fake news poll about seventy five percent of
- 8:48Speaker 2: America is not happy with capturing Maduro. They're against it. Well,
- 8:51Speaker 2: if you look into the metrics of the pole, it's
- 8:54Speaker 2: totally rigged, totally slanted. The question is all wrong. They
- 8:58Speaker 2: used the wrong group, the wrong the wrong this the
- 9:01Speaker 2: wrong time. And it was before anybody knew anything about
- 9:06Speaker 2: it was as soon as it happened a couple days later.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Everybody's had it explained to them a million different ways.
- 9:13Speaker 2: So if you did a real poll with the right
- 9:15Speaker 2: demographics and the right metrics right now, you'd get a
- 9:18Speaker 2: whole different reading. Hey, a lot of celebrities got stranded
- 9:24Speaker 2: because of the Maduro raid. When they did that operation
- 9:30Speaker 2: down there in South America, they closed the airspace for
- 9:33Speaker 2: a long distance because they didn't know where those planes
- 9:36Speaker 2: would have to go and get out. They closed airspace.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And this was the final days of the Christmas break,
- 9:44Speaker 2: the weekend Saturday and Sunday. So when they closed the airspace,
- 9:47Speaker 2: a lot of people could not get off there. You know,
- 9:50Speaker 2: some people go to these crazy islands down there, like
- 9:53Speaker 2: Saint Bart's and all those places. So all these celebrities stranded,
- 9:57Speaker 2: they could not get out airspace closed their planes couldn't
- 10:00Speaker 2: take off though. They're all yelling and screaming and complaining.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Imagine complaining, I mengine, you're a millionaire celebrity. You're complaining
- 10:07Speaker 2: that you had to spend an extra two days at
- 10:09Speaker 2: Saint Bart's. This is a big, big problem to them,
- 10:14Speaker 2: but they all got out eventually. Speaking of celebrities, too
- 10:19Speaker 2: many documentaries, there's too many documentaries. There's one. I forgot
- 10:24Speaker 2: to tell you about this, but you should watch this.
- 10:26Speaker 6: You know.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Fox Nation is a Fox twentieth century Fox. They started this.
- 10:32Speaker 2: It's their streaming service. It's called Fox Nation. It's got
- 10:35Speaker 2: a lot of great shows. But they just came out
- 10:37Speaker 2: with the Sinatra documentary. I told you about this about
- 10:41Speaker 2: four or five months ago. Maybe it was six months ago.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I'm in the documentary, but that's when they were filming
- 10:46Speaker 2: the whole thing. But it's called Sinatra. What's it called
- 10:50Speaker 2: Echoes of an Icon. I'm not crazy about the title.
- 10:53Speaker 2: But it's a great documentary. It's two parts, two hours,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and then there's an additional a bunch of segments that
- 11:02Speaker 2: you can watch. But it's phenomenal and they spent a
- 11:06Speaker 2: fortune on it because they have all the rare clips
- 11:09Speaker 2: and recordings and film clips tv clips. You gotta pay
- 11:13Speaker 2: to use all these clips, and they spent a lot
- 11:15Speaker 2: of money. But it's on Fox Nation. Fox Nation. You
- 11:19Speaker 2: have to have a subscription, but they're pretty cheap, the
- 11:22Speaker 2: subscriptions to Fox Nation. And you'll love it. They got
- 11:24Speaker 2: a lot of great programs. But sign up for Fox
- 11:26Speaker 2: Nation and then search for Sinatra Echoes of an icon Sinatra,
- 11:31Speaker 2: just tyke in Sinatra, and this documentary will come out.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I'm in it. I'm all through it, and there a
- 11:36Speaker 2: lot of people are in it. But when it first
- 11:39Speaker 2: was released, I just wanted to watch it for a
- 11:41Speaker 2: few minutes because I just want to see what I
- 11:43Speaker 2: look like in it. I mean, to be honest, I
- 11:44Speaker 2: could say they spent a lot of money lighting the thing,
- 11:47Speaker 2: in the set and the whole thing. They just want
- 11:49Speaker 2: to see how it looked. So I was just gonna
- 11:51Speaker 2: watch for five minutes just to see if I look bad,
- 11:54Speaker 2: I look good at it. Just watch for five minutes.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I ended up watching the whole two hours. I couldn't stop.
- 11:59Speaker 2: It just moved. It's got all kinds of rare footage,
- 12:02Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff. You'll love it. So it's on
- 12:04Speaker 2: Fox Nation. Now. The other thing is there's too many
- 12:10Speaker 2: of these documentaries, the Chevy Chase documentary. Everybody's talking about
- 12:13Speaker 2: the Chevy Chase doc I like Chevy Chase, but do
- 12:17Speaker 2: you really want to spend two hours studying this guy's life.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I mean, I'd like to watch a movie of his
- 12:22Speaker 2: or something like that, or an old Saturday Night live clip,
- 12:24Speaker 2: But do you really need to know everything about this guy?
- 12:26Speaker 2: And there's nothing that interesting. The part everybody's talking about
- 12:30Speaker 2: is how well, how bad he could be. He yelled
- 12:33Speaker 2: at the director. She was a woman, and he said
- 12:35Speaker 2: something about you're not quite he yelled at her. I
- 12:39Speaker 2: hate to break it to you, this goes on all
- 12:41Speaker 2: the time in movies, in broadcasting, in television. All of
- 12:45Speaker 2: your favorite stars, even the nicest people in the world,
- 12:47Speaker 2: who are really nice people to work with, every so
- 12:50Speaker 2: often something goes wrong and they start yelling at somebody.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Is he in the control room? You've been doing this
- 12:55Speaker 2: a long time. You've had a host yell at you, right,
- 12:58Speaker 2: it happens. There's some guys that aren't so nice, you know,
- 13:02Speaker 2: Like I miss it was just cursing and screaming and
- 13:04Speaker 2: yelling every break, every time there was a commercial, you'd
- 13:09Speaker 2: yell at everybody. I mean, just always yelling. Bob Grant
- 13:13Speaker 2: could be a pain in the neck to be around.
- 13:17Speaker 2: I'm trying to think I'm editing myself. But even the
- 13:24Speaker 2: really nice guys, the nicest people in broadcasting, they're the
- 13:27Speaker 2: finest people you could ever know. They're nice to everybody,
- 13:30Speaker 2: they're generous, warm. Once in a while, something goes wrong
- 13:33Speaker 2: on a show and they'll start yelling at somebody. It
- 13:35Speaker 2: happens in everybody, everybody. It happens in every TV studio,
- 13:40Speaker 2: in the nicest house, but something goes wrong sometimes you know,
- 13:43Speaker 2: you're sitting there in the green room and all of
- 13:45Speaker 2: a sudden you hear some yelling something when somebody screwed
- 13:48Speaker 2: up something. Those that's yelling. It goes out all the time.
- 13:51Speaker 2: So but they make it. They make things up in
- 13:56Speaker 2: these documentaries that aren't that important. They build them up,
- 13:59Speaker 2: and some of them because if they're not that interesting,
- 14:02Speaker 2: you've got to make up some stuff like this to
- 14:04Speaker 2: make it more interesting. Hey, Jimmy Kimmel is back, but
- 14:10Speaker 2: not really, not really. They know the show stinks, they
- 14:13Speaker 2: know nobody's watching it. The network wants to get rid
- 14:15Speaker 2: of them. They just renewed it for one year, which
- 14:18Speaker 2: is the biggest insult in the world. Standard renewal, standard
- 14:21Speaker 2: new contract is five years. You get a five year contract. Now,
- 14:26Speaker 2: there's some people, some hosts that don't like five year
- 14:29Speaker 2: contracts because it favors the company. They lock in for
- 14:32Speaker 2: five years at a certain price. So some people like
- 14:35Speaker 2: three year contracts that we can keep getting more raises.
- 14:37Speaker 2: But there's no such thing as a If you get
- 14:40Speaker 2: a one year extension means they have no faith in
- 14:43Speaker 2: you at all, and it most likely means they're going
- 14:45Speaker 2: to get rid of you, because if it's only a
- 14:47Speaker 2: one year extension, they don't mind paying that off. So
- 14:50Speaker 2: that was the biggest insult to Kimmel. And now that
- 14:53Speaker 2: he's back, they're cutting back on stuff like you know
- 14:56Speaker 2: they have a musical act every night, Well they're now
- 14:59Speaker 2: cutting that down to like one night a week because
- 15:01Speaker 2: it's expensive to do the musical act. It costs more
- 15:05Speaker 2: money production wise and everything. And prediction they'll cut back
- 15:09Speaker 2: on live shows. They've already done that with the Tonight Show, Colbert.
- 15:13Speaker 2: You know, they're no longer five nights a week. They
- 15:15Speaker 2: do like four shows a week and run a rerun
- 15:18Speaker 2: on the fifth night, so expect that with Kim Well,
- 15:22Speaker 2: expect these shows to go to three nights a week
- 15:24Speaker 2: and two reruns per week. Hey, we'll take some calls next.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:32Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 15:36Speaker 2: ten is the number. Hey, Wegman's getting a lot of flak.
- 15:40Speaker 2: They've announced it in New York. They're collecting biometric data.
- 15:45Speaker 2: You know, when you walk in the store, they're scanning
- 15:47Speaker 2: your face, They're scanning your eyeballs. I guess a lot
- 15:50Speaker 2: of stories do this, but for some reason in New York,
- 15:53Speaker 2: Wegmans is announced they're saving this data and a lot
- 15:58Speaker 2: of people aren't going to shop there right now. Say
- 16:00Speaker 2: I'm not chopping there anymore because I don't know. Let's
- 16:02Speaker 2: say at Wegmans they had a picture of your face
- 16:04Speaker 2: and your eyeballs. How damaging is this? What would you
- 16:07Speaker 2: even be worried about the people of it? I'm never
- 16:10Speaker 2: going in there again. Are the same people that put
- 16:12Speaker 2: their face in their eyeballs up on Instagram ten times
- 16:14Speaker 2: a day, but nobody can figure out why they're doing it.
- 16:19Speaker 2: They said it's a security thing to identify any possible
- 16:23Speaker 2: threats to I don't even know what that means, and
- 16:26Speaker 2: that would apply to every business and every store in
- 16:28Speaker 2: New York. But they don't need to do it. They
- 16:30Speaker 2: haven't reversed it yet. They're getting a lot of flack.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I guess they're waiting to see how much of a
- 16:35Speaker 2: drop in traffic they get as a result. And why
- 16:38Speaker 2: just Manhattan. It's a strange thing, but I think deep
- 16:44Speaker 2: down you're going to turn out they're collecting this data
- 16:46Speaker 2: because it's going to be valuable commercially somewhere in the future.
- 16:52Speaker 2: You know, right now, every business been collecting your email,
- 16:55Speaker 2: your cell phone number. That way they can bobarde you
- 16:57Speaker 2: with ads or something. This facial record nition stuff. Somewhere
- 17:01Speaker 2: in the future, it's going to be used for marketing
- 17:03Speaker 2: or spam or that kind of stuff. Hey, we'll take
- 17:05Speaker 2: some calls. Next eight hundred three to two one zero
- 17:08Speaker 2: seven ten is another.
- 17:10Speaker 7: Gets in access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 17:14Speaker 7: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Now back to the month simone show on w o R.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Let's hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to George
- 17:25Speaker 2: and Boston. George, how you doing?
- 17:30Speaker 8: Mayn man Danny is the biggest plumlord. The city of
- 17:33Speaker 8: New York is the biggest real estate holder. Oh I'm
- 17:37Speaker 8: sorry about that, but may and Man Danny is the
- 17:39Speaker 8: biggest thumblood.
- 17:40Speaker 2: You've already heard that bumblood. But again, why the echo?
- 17:44Speaker 2: Are you in a tunnel or something?
- 17:47Speaker 8: No, why are you making chokes?
- 17:49Speaker 2: I'm trying to be I'm not begging jokes. You sound
- 17:52Speaker 2: like those in the tuck of a call or something.
- 17:56Speaker 2: So anyway, let's go to uh Wagner in philadelp You Wagner,
- 18:00Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 18:04Speaker 6: Good morning, Happy New Year. What we're gonna do with
- 18:07Speaker 6: this tomorrow? Man? This new mayor for New York. He say, oh,
- 18:15Speaker 6: I'm not called the preceding our president to complain about it.
- 18:21Speaker 6: He's not agoing. Oh what he'd be doing this this
- 18:27Speaker 6: dental christ liberal unbelievable.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, you got to what you're saying. But
- 18:33Speaker 2: I give mom Donny credit. It's a smart move to
- 18:35Speaker 2: call the president. Not that the president's listening or cares,
- 18:38Speaker 2: but he'll play along. Uh. And the reason that Mom
- 18:41Speaker 2: Donnie will do that makes him look more important. You know,
- 18:43Speaker 2: he's twelve years old, just got elected mayor. He's never
- 18:46Speaker 2: had a job. You know, he's like a little tiny
- 18:51Speaker 2: character right now. But I'm calling the president to consult
- 18:54Speaker 2: with him on the Maderia makes him sound important. Uh.
- 18:57Speaker 2: First term the president, I had a special Presidential Secret
- 19:02Speaker 2: Service cell phone that he used, but this time around
- 19:04Speaker 2: he still got that. But he has his own private
- 19:07Speaker 2: personal cell phone, and he's been given the number out
- 19:10Speaker 2: to everybody, every journalist, everybody at CNN, everybody at the
- 19:14Speaker 2: New York Tate. He just gives the cell number to everybody.
- 19:17Speaker 2: And there's a lot of people that text him, and
- 19:20Speaker 2: you know you'll see them on CNN. They're a White
- 19:22Speaker 2: House reporter, but they're not that important. And now you're
- 19:25Speaker 2: right after the Maduro rate. They called him and talked
- 19:27Speaker 2: to him, so it makes them feel important, and I
- 19:30Speaker 2: think he kind of enjoys it thanks hearing from all
- 19:32Speaker 2: these people all the time. So we mo'm Donnie. He
- 19:35Speaker 2: gives it to everybody. When you're in the Oval office,
- 19:38Speaker 2: you have my cell number. Here, take my number, call
- 19:39Speaker 2: me whatever you want. It makes them feel good to call.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn.
- 19:44Speaker 6: Vincent, how you doing, Mark? I'm okay, Mark? During your
- 19:48Speaker 6: first how I heard a caller, uh speak about the
- 19:51Speaker 6: new fire commissioner. Well, it seems to me like the
- 19:56Speaker 6: mayor hired Newman's body double from the Seinfeld Show as
- 20:01Speaker 6: the new fire commissioner. You see this runway model the EyeT.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, she does look like it's a she, right.
- 20:09Speaker 6: You tell me, man, I mean looking Well, it seems
- 20:15Speaker 6: like with these socialists that they have to pick the
- 20:19Speaker 6: most iconic, iconoclastic figures they could find, uh, to represent
- 20:26Speaker 6: the show that they're really down for the struggle. Mark
- 20:29Speaker 6: speaking about the flawless execution of the Maduro extraction. Uh,
- 20:35Speaker 6: there is some great videos on YouTube. I don't mean
- 20:40Speaker 6: people with their cell phones out of their balconies, uh,
- 20:44Speaker 6: taking shots of when they were, you know, attacking the compound.
- 20:49Speaker 6: Somebody actually reversed engineered all of the uh, the Navy
- 20:55Speaker 6: and the Special Forces moved and there's a great video
- 21:00Speaker 6: on it. They showed all the reasons why they used
- 21:03Speaker 6: specific jets to do certain parts of the operation. The
- 21:08Speaker 6: helicopter formation was perfect circle.
- 21:11Speaker 2: That sounds interesting, but it's probably only sixty percent accurate
- 21:14Speaker 2: because it's whoever it was was guessing it a lot
- 21:16Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Well, yeah, perhaps that's right, but it was really interesting.
- 21:21Speaker 6: They did show you the mock building that they made
- 21:24Speaker 6: of the palace where Maduro was living, and very good.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I mean, the trades, flawless military execution and obviously the
- 21:36Speaker 2: CIA doing better work than ever getting an intel Mack.
- 21:40Speaker 6: I can't wait until they make the movie about this this.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no, that won't be a movie. It's
- 21:47Speaker 2: a Republican president. If it was a democratic movie, it'd
- 21:50Speaker 2: be a ten TV specials.
- 21:51Speaker 6: I say that they could make you know Baron Trump.
- 21:56Speaker 6: They could use that age aging technology, the aging software
- 22:01Speaker 6: to make them look old. They could make Bernie Sanders,
- 22:04Speaker 6: they could dye his hair, make them grow a stash
- 22:06Speaker 6: to make you.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that stuff doesn't work. Go look at the irishman
- 22:09Speaker 2: with de Niro. They've used the digital technology. Instead of eighty,
- 22:13Speaker 2: he looked like seventy two. It didn't make that much difference.
- 22:16Speaker 2: But Vincent, great call, Thanks for calling. Hey. When we
- 22:19Speaker 2: come back, Greg Jarrett, the greatest legal expert of all,
- 22:22Speaker 2: will be with us next. What's going to happen to Maduro?
- 22:25Speaker 2: And what is this? It's against international law. We'll ask
- 22:28Speaker 2: the legal expert in a moment on seven to ten,
- 22:30Speaker 2: wor always.
- 22:32Speaker 9: A step ahead of the news.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Here's more Marks imone on seven to ten.
- 22:37Speaker 7: Wor Well, let's turn down to the greatest legal analyst
- 22:42Speaker 7: of all, Greg Jarrett. You can read his latest column
- 22:44Speaker 7: foxnews dot Com. Also Greg Jarrett's books highly recommended Trial
- 22:49Speaker 7: of the Century in the Riveting Legal Trial book You'll
- 22:53Speaker 7: ever read, and his latest book, The Constitution and Other
- 22:57Speaker 7: Patriotic Documents, very important book you should have in here library.
- 23:00Speaker 7: Highly recommended. Greg Jarrett.
- 23:02Speaker 1: How you doing, Mark, I'm fine, Thanks for having me on.
- 23:06Speaker 2: No, let's get to this Maduro stuff. It violates international law,
- 23:12Speaker 2: it's illegal, it's against the Constitution. Is it any of
- 23:15Speaker 2: those things?
- 23:16Speaker 10: No, it's none of those things. And the people who
- 23:18Speaker 10: are saying it are either profoundly stupid or they know
- 23:22Speaker 10: it and they're lying. You know, every president since World
- 23:27Speaker 10: War Two has ordered military action without congressional consent because
- 23:33Speaker 10: short of declaring war, presidents don't need prior approval from Congress.
- 23:39Speaker 1: It's written in the Constitution, Article two, Section two grants
- 23:44Speaker 1: presidents is commander in chief inherent power two direct military
- 23:49Speaker 1: strikes unilaterally. And you know, I hear some people you
- 23:53Speaker 1: violated the.
- 23:54Speaker 10: War Powers Act. Well, read the War Powers Act. It's
- 23:59Speaker 10: not a prohibition. It is a reporting requirement, you know,
- 24:03Speaker 10: notify Congress within forty eight hours of taking military action,
- 24:08Speaker 10: and the resolution itself admits that the president has that right.
- 24:14Speaker 10: The president also.
- 24:15Speaker 1: As I point out in my most recent column, has
- 24:17Speaker 1: another authority. It's called the take Care Clause. It's in
- 24:21Speaker 1: the Constitution, Section two, section three, actually the Constitution. Under
- 24:30Speaker 1: that document, the president is duty bound to faithfully execute
- 24:35Speaker 1: all laws. And so what does that mean.
- 24:37Speaker 10: Well, effectuating the arrest of a wanted fugitive is enforcing
- 24:42Speaker 10: all laws, capturing that person, bringing him to court to
- 24:46Speaker 10: face justice, seeking a prosecution, and punishment upon conviction. All
- 24:52Speaker 10: of those things the president is obligated to do. And look,
- 24:57Speaker 10: if Joe Biden had done it, these same Trump critics
- 25:02Speaker 10: would be cheering instead of denouncing President Trump. They only
- 25:07Speaker 10: condemned prompt Trump because it's Trump, and that's all they
- 25:11Speaker 10: stand for, really, is just opposing everything he does. If
- 25:15Speaker 10: the guy cured cancer, they depose it for some invented reason.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Now he's in federal court, federal charges, federal custody. If
- 25:24Speaker 2: it were local, if it were Alvin Bragg of with
- 25:26Speaker 2: local charges, he would be out already right with the
- 25:29Speaker 2: no cash, no base.
- 25:31Speaker 6: Yeah, he probably would.
- 25:34Speaker 10: Look take a look at the superseding indictment. It is
- 25:39Speaker 10: one scary document. If you're the defendant, they have the
- 25:43Speaker 10: goods on him. The document trail alone that they've accumulated
- 25:49Speaker 10: is enough to convict. And then you've got cooperating witnesses,
- 25:53Speaker 10: some of whom have already pled guilty as Maduro's co
- 25:58Speaker 10: conspirators in US courts, and you have highly incriminating tape recordings.
- 26:06Speaker 10: You put all of that together and it spells conviction.
- 26:09Speaker 10: And you know, you have to understand the Department of
- 26:12Speaker 10: Justice spent the better part of a decade meticulously gathering
- 26:17Speaker 10: the evidence against Maduro and his wife and all of
- 26:20Speaker 10: his cronies. They looted the Venezuelan government. They did a
- 26:24Speaker 10: lot of it through drug trafficking, murders, torture of women
- 26:29Speaker 10: and children, a whole host of despicable crimes that falls
- 26:33Speaker 10: under the category of narco terrorism. So, you know, I'm
- 26:38Speaker 10: always reluctant to say it's a slam dunk case, but
- 26:41Speaker 10: you know, if I were in Maduro's defense attorney, I'd say,
- 26:45Speaker 10: what do you got to help the United States? So
- 26:49Speaker 10: that we can play let's make a deal.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Huh. So he does have attorneys now that are working
- 26:55Speaker 2: on this. Is that their only hope make a deal.
- 26:57Speaker 2: There's no actual.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Defense loud look, I mean they're going to pull the
- 27:02Speaker 1: usual stuff.
- 27:04Speaker 10: That norie Get pulled his. You know, he has a
- 27:08Speaker 10: very good lawyer, Barry Pollock, and you know he'll do
- 27:14Speaker 10: what Noriega's lawyers to challenge the capture and arrest and
- 27:18Speaker 10: the status.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Of Maduro, claiming a violation of due process. Oh, it's
- 27:24Speaker 1: a violation of international law, whatever that means. And you
- 27:29Speaker 1: know they'll argue the US has no jurisdiction to prosecute him.
- 27:33Speaker 1: They'll assert, you know, head of state immunity can't do it. Well,
- 27:37Speaker 1: Noriega tried to pull that nonsense and it didn't work.
- 27:41Speaker 10: It failed miserably. He was convicted, mostly because the Supreme
- 27:45Speaker 10: Court has said, we don't care who you are or
- 27:49Speaker 10: how you got here into this courtroom. You know, we
- 27:53Speaker 10: treat poppers and potentates alike.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Well, it's not good for him if you watch fake
- 28:01Speaker 2: news all you keep here. It's a violation of international law,
- 28:03Speaker 2: international law. Where exactly does this international law come from?
- 28:08Speaker 10: Well, it's pretty much imaginary. One of the things they
- 28:12Speaker 10: point to, as you know I noted in my column,
- 28:18Speaker 10: is that, well, there is this United Nations Charter, section
- 28:25Speaker 10: two parentheses for that says, oh, you can't violate another
- 28:30Speaker 10: country's sovereignty. But read on and you see there are
- 28:35Speaker 10: exceptions to it.
- 28:36Speaker 1: One of them's you know, active defense on behalf of
- 28:41Speaker 1: another nation.
- 28:42Speaker 10: And you know, here, when you know you're flooding metric
- 28:46Speaker 10: tons of cocaine in the United States, poisonous drugs, you know,
- 28:53Speaker 10: the US has a right to defend itself. And you know,
- 28:56Speaker 10: this guy Maduro was the head of a narco terror
- 29:00Speaker 10: some cartel that was doing all of this. So you know, look,
- 29:06Speaker 10: as I said on the air over the weekend, the
- 29:09Speaker 10: United Nations is a feckless organization. And the UN.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Charter has only one valid use to line the bottom
- 29:18Speaker 1: of a bird cage.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, the UN is that organization over there on First
- 29:22Speaker 2: Avenue and forty fifth. They have no actual authority.
- 29:24Speaker 10: Over anything, do they No, they have no enforcement authority.
- 29:29Speaker 10: No serious person ever pays attention to anything they do.
- 29:32Speaker 10: And besides the United States has veto power and the
- 29:37Speaker 10: UN Security Council, and so you know, whatever they tried
- 29:42Speaker 10: to do, would get vetoed. You know, I've never quite
- 29:46Speaker 10: understood how the UN has lasted as long as it has.
- 29:50Speaker 10: You know, maybe the intention was good, as it was
- 29:54Speaker 10: with the League of Nations that never got off the ground,
- 29:58Speaker 10: but in practice it's utterly worthless.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Yeah, make sure you go read Greg Jared's column. It's
- 30:03Speaker 2: up at foxnews dot com.
- 30:05Speaker 6: Hey.
- 30:05Speaker 2: You point out in the column Joe Biden had offered
- 30:08Speaker 2: a twenty five million dollar reward for Maduro's arrest. Who
- 30:11Speaker 2: was he thinking would arrest him?
- 30:14Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, I mean, you know, and when Biden was
- 30:18Speaker 1: running in twenty twenty, he excoriated Trump for doing nothing
- 30:23Speaker 1: about Maduro. And then, of course Biden took office and
- 30:27Speaker 1: did nothing about Maduro except put a bounty on his head.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer stood on the floor of the United States
- 30:34Speaker 1: Senate when Trump was in office the first time around
- 30:40Speaker 1: and railed against him for not getting rid of Maduro. So,
- 30:45Speaker 1: you know, in the second term, Trump does exactly what
- 30:48Speaker 1: Schumer demanded, and Schumer then, you know, denounces Trump for
- 30:54Speaker 1: doing what Schumer insisted that Trump should do. I mean,
- 30:57Speaker 1: these people are knucklehead. It's in there, you know, the
- 31:01Speaker 1: ultimate and hypocrites.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Hey, is somebody entitled this twenty five million dollar award?
- 31:05Speaker 2: Can Pete Hexith put in a claim for it? Or
- 31:08Speaker 2: Donald Trump?
- 31:09Speaker 10: I think when the military acts and law enforcement acts,
- 31:13Speaker 10: it doesn't really apply.
- 31:15Speaker 1: But you know, I don't know who knows.
- 31:18Speaker 9: Trump may say, hey, I get the reward and we're
- 31:21Speaker 9: going to distribute it to members of the military. Well,
- 31:25Speaker 9: I don't object to that. Those guys are the best
- 31:28Speaker 9: in the world. You know, the Delta Force and all
- 31:31Speaker 9: of the other American forces that carried out this incredible
- 31:37Speaker 9: raid without injury to any of our military personnel. Truly remarkable.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Well, you read the column. It's a great column. It's
- 31:45Speaker 2: up at foxnews dot com. Just look for Greg Jarrett's
- 31:48Speaker 2: column and all of his columns there. Make sure you
- 31:50Speaker 2: get his books, the latest book, The Constitution and Other
- 31:54Speaker 2: Patriotic Documents. It's a book you should have in your library. Definitely,
- 31:58Speaker 2: you can go get at it.
- 31:59Speaker 10: Well, I'm going to send it to Chuck Schumer.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Might come as a surprise to him. Apparently when he.
- 32:04Speaker 10: Went to law school he skipped constitutional law.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Yeah, well, it's a good idea. Somebody buy it and
- 32:11Speaker 2: send it to Chuck Schumer. It would be a good idea.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Greg Jarrett, the best legal analyst of all. Thanks for
- 32:16Speaker 2: being with.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Us, my pleasure. Mark, take care, all.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Right, take care. Fascinating stuff. Yeah that you'll hear this
- 32:24Speaker 2: for the next week. You'll hear it on the Sunday shows.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Coming up this weekend, you'll hear the violation of international law.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Now there you go, the best legal analyst of all.
- 32:33Speaker 2: There's no such thing as international law. Hey, don't forget.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Coming up at noon, it's Buck Sexton, Klay Travis. That's
- 32:41Speaker 2: a great show. You'll learn a lot of stuff. Every
- 32:43Speaker 2: day twelve noon. Then you got and everybody's back by
- 32:46Speaker 2: the way from vacation. You got the most listened to
- 32:49Speaker 2: radio show in America, Sean Hannity three o'clock. You got
- 32:52Speaker 2: Jesse Kelly at six, and everybody loves the new Jimmy
- 32:55Speaker 2: Faylas Show every night nine to midnight. Very good, funny
- 32:59Speaker 2: show X nine to midnight. Right here on seven to ten.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Wr here's more, Mark Simone on seven to TENO. Well, hey,
- 33:10Speaker 2: we've got a lot of stuff. We didn't get to
- 33:11Speaker 2: Marty Supreme. Great movie, go see it. Marty Supreme doing
- 33:17Speaker 2: a big business at the box office. But you'll love it.
- 33:19Speaker 2: I knew the real Marty Supreme. We'll talk about it tomorrow.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Mark Kelly military demotion, reducing his rank in his retirement vent.
- 33:33Speaker 2: But the guy is sleazy. Senator Mark Kelly's the guy
- 33:35Speaker 2: trying to stir up trouble in the military. And it's
- 33:38Speaker 2: not unusual to do that to somebody. Democrats did it
- 33:41Speaker 2: to Ronnie Jackson all because he was a Trump supporter.
- 33:44Speaker 2: They demoted him in retirement. It happens, but we'll get
- 33:48Speaker 2: to that tomorrow, and a lot to get to tomorrow,
- 33:51Speaker 2: So don't miss tomorrow's show, and don't go away. Buck
- 33:54Speaker 2: and Clay are coming up next with an excellent show.
- 33:56Speaker 2: They'll be here right after the news and thanks for everything.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Thanks for listening. Seven ten w o R.
