Late Saturday night in McKinney, a 25-year-old man fired a shotgun at police responding to gunshots, thankfully without injuring anyone. After retreating to his apartment, he surrendered peacefully after officers secured the area. Detectives later found multiple firearms, ammo, and shell casings during a warrant search. He’s now facing a serious aggravated assault charge against a public servant — a first-degree felony — and is in Collin County jail.
