  SPEAKER_00: Welcome to our secret place, a place where we can let our guard down, where we can just relax and tell the Lord, Lord, take me to that holy mountain, Father God, where I can just feel you, Father God, where I can just separate myself, Father God, and just feel you.

  SPEAKER_00: And today I want to speak about the waiting.

  SPEAKER_00: The waiting process.

  SPEAKER_00: Because we know that many people do not like waiting.

  SPEAKER_00: It becomes frustrated after a while.

  SPEAKER_00: We start feeling that we can't wait, we can't go on, because there is a process to everything in life.

  SPEAKER_00: For example, when you're born, in order to walk, you have to wait.

  SPEAKER_00: Even to die, you have to wait.

  SPEAKER_00: For everything in life, there's a waiting process, but in that waiting process, we have to trust in God that He is working in the midst of our waiting process.

  SPEAKER_00: So today I want to speak to someone here that has a problem waiting, feels discouraged, and feels like the waiting process is lingering around.

  SPEAKER_00: I got a word for you today.

  SPEAKER_00: I want you to take this word, keep it in your heart, and know that God is speaking to you tonight.

  SPEAKER_00: Let's go to the book of Isaiah, chapter 40, verse 31.

  SPEAKER_00: But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles.

  SPEAKER_00: Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of faith.

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, it can be.
• 1:56
  SPEAKER_00: Because believe me, waiting nobody likes it.

  SPEAKER_00: We pray, we believe, and then we wonder why nothing seems to be happening.

  SPEAKER_00: Because that's what happens.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we we start asking God why.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm waiting for I waited for so long, Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: There was a process in my life, a process that I didn't know what was going on with me.

  SPEAKER_00: I was having so much problems.

  SPEAKER_00: Doctors thought it was cancer, bone cancer.

  SPEAKER_00: Some of them thought it was some other kind of disease, but the process was so tough.

  SPEAKER_00: It was so tough that I was tired of waiting and waiting for medications to help me.

  SPEAKER_00: I was tired of waiting for God to come and do that miracle.

  SPEAKER_00: But guess what?

  SPEAKER_00: God did it no matter what.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, at the end of the day, the waiting is only gonna produce in you, is only gonna produce in you perseverance.

  SPEAKER_00: So if you're waiting on something, if you're waiting on something, wait and understand that God is working.

  SPEAKER_00: Waiting on God is not wasted time whatsoever.

  SPEAKER_00: God can use a waiting period of time to prepare your heart for what you have been praying for.

  SPEAKER_00: He can strengthen you before the answer arrives.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we ask for God for something and we want it right there and then.

  SPEAKER_00: And if we don't get it right there and then, we start getting discouraged.

  SPEAKER_00: We start feeling like God is not hearing us.

  SPEAKER_00: We start thinking that God is far away from us, but there is always a waiting period, a waiting period for everything here on earth.

  SPEAKER_00: Everything.

  SPEAKER_00: So do not mistake God's silence for his absence.

  SPEAKER_00: Roots grow where nobody can see them.

  SPEAKER_00: God may be doing the something deep inside of you before anything changes around you.

  SPEAKER_00: Imagine that.

  SPEAKER_00: Think about it.

  SPEAKER_00: The roots they grow where nobody can see them.

  SPEAKER_00: Can you see the roots of a tree growing?

  SPEAKER_00: No, you cannot.

  SPEAKER_00: Unless the root is sticking out beyond, above the grass, the dirt, then you can see it.

  SPEAKER_00: But the roots are not seen.

  SPEAKER_00: It's is it's growing in a place where no one can see it.

  SPEAKER_00: So that's exactly what God is doing.

  SPEAKER_00: He's strengthening you, he's making your foundation stronger, he's making you understand that your waiting process doesn't mean that it's not gonna happen.

  SPEAKER_00: He's refining you through your waiting process.

  SPEAKER_00: So while you wait, keep serving God, keep praying, keep worshiping him, keep praising him.

  SPEAKER_00: The waiting room is not your final destination.

  SPEAKER_00: He's only holding you in his arms and allowing you to praise him during your waiting season.

  SPEAKER_00: Let's say a prayer tonight and let's believe, God, that in your waiting process you will continue serving him.

  SPEAKER_00: Father God, in the name of Jesus, Father God, I am speaking to a soul here today.

  SPEAKER_00: Someone that is tuned in and wanting a word, Father God.

  SPEAKER_00: Father God, help us trust you while we wait.

  SPEAKER_00: Renew our strength, Father God, when we become so tired.

  SPEAKER_00: Guard our hearts, mighty God, from discouragement.

  SPEAKER_00: Use this season, this time, Father God, to prepare us from what you have ahead.

  SPEAKER_00: In Jesus' mighty name we pray.
