Transcript
- 0:10[SPEAKER_02]: You're listening to Mile High Insiders.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_02]: The Denver Broncos have started a new November, the win streak.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's continued.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: We got past Halloween.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_02]: We got through an undefeated October.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's prime time football, Broncos Raiders.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_02]: We got to get to a huge injury report, get to some keys to victory, get ready for those damn Raiders.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: But before we
- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: we do, who are we, we are M. H. I was a Broncos country.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: We are here rocking with you every Wednesday night, six p.m. Mountain.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: He is Thomas Hall.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Luke Patterson.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_02]: Scott Kennedy on the ones and two.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: Tom, man, surviving Houston, the Texans game.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: We got to get into some left overs, 18 to 15.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: And here the Broncos are seven and two tied for the hottest wind streak and all the NFL with those Patriots.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's been a while since we could look at the Broncos record and say they're seven and two.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's after nine games and it hasn't happened that many times.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you saw my tweet, it only happened 14 times in their history that they were seven and two.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: Almost, you know, about 60, almost 70% of the time they made, they've seen championship game at the very least when was the time they went seven and two?
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: uh... twenty fifteen was the last time they were seven and seven and two or better and or better and your anniversary your time things crazy things are happening yeah so it i mean it's refreshing to see that and i know people are like all they got lucky or whatever you know no
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: Good teams win.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: They figure out a way to win.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: They've been struggling.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: They've obviously have some mental mistakes.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Again, other mistakes that they shouldn't be making, but they found a way to win.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's what good teams do.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: People were giving the chiefs crap about, you know, barely making it.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: They were going to be tearable team.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: They ended up in the Super Bowl.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, I don't I don't I don't buy into the luck.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: So seven and two is seven and two.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: You are what your record says you are as the.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: And we let him off the hook, I'll never rest in peace.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: Now here's the thing, man, the Broncos got lucky.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, nothing lucky.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: about not allowing a single touchdown all game, something the Broncos have done multiple times this season Tom, so to add to your point, there's no luck in it.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, there's some fortune and there's also misfortune as the Houston Texans realized losing CJ Straud, right?
- 2:46[SPEAKER_02]: We could always wonder what that game would have looked like, but it is what it is.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_02]: Thoughts and prayers for CJ seems like he's going to miss this week, but he is okay.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: I was happy with our guys performance and Chris Abram strain was happy the level of character that the Broncos have not a dirty hit.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: People can call this game lucky.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: Lucky win all they want.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's the this was a devastating hit that drives me crazy on social media because.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: that's not what we saw.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: This is a team that's trying to be more disciplined, but they're definitely not dirty.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: You know who's dirty?
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: Our guy David, dirty Dave coming in here with the two-dollar soup.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: What's up Dave?
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully you and yours are doing well.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, man.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Dave's on to something.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: Good evening, Broncos country.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: I've been telling you since the summer.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: 13 and four or 14 and three.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: Pick your record Tom.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'll tell you what, if they can finish up before the buy at nine and two, if they can get to nine and two, which is still possible, you got the Raiders and then the chiefs visit and other banged up, I mean, losing pass or tan if he's not in that chiefs game is going to be, you know, it's going to make it tougher.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: But if they can, then 13 and 4 is definitely there for the taking.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and in fact, it would also put the nail, the final nail and the chief's coffin when it comes to winning that AFC West if they can beat them and send them to 5 and 5, and probably put them out of the playoffs as well.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: It almost feels just a little too good to be true here in Denver right now because even the what we thought would be a worst case scenario hasn't happened yet.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: One of my talking about Pastor Tan and that damn pectoral strain or whatever it is, the pectoral injury.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: We were thinking season ending injury potentially.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos are going to try to ride it out.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_02]: They did not place PS2 on IR over a week ago and they could have started the clock.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: They're saying, hey, we're going to roll with these next two games, the Raiders in the Chiefs, see what happens after the buy, and then we're wondering, what's going to happen in the Houston Texans game with all these receivers, right?
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: With the Negro Collins, even Shultz, the All-Mshultz, they're leading receiver, tight end.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos were able to withstand a Houston Texans team that has a lot of talent.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: They're very well coached too.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: There were some bonehead mistakes.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to get into those, but I appreciate David and
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: For tuning in the MHI, where you can catch us every Wednesday night at 6pm Mountain, if you like to reach out to Tom, please do so at Thomas Hall NFL over on X, you're truly at Luke Patterson L. P. David Yonken back to back David on David crime for 99 over on Wednesday nights, Sean Peyton, please tell Bandie to let the ball go into the end zone Tom.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_02]: David is of course referencing
- 5:28[SPEAKER_02]: the moft punt down in Houston.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: Tell us what you saw, what your thoughts were.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: Lord knows that was cursing and screaming at the television.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that's just a big mistake.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it happens when you're playing a backup there that hasn't really, I mean, hasn't been in the game all year.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think hasn't returned a punt all year.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, those kind of things happen.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: My problem with it is it was a bunch of special teams mistakes not just one single mistake to me that goes back to The man that Sean Peyton had to have because he got rid of McMahon to bring in Rizzi and there's been a lot of mistakes.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, yeah, that was a huge mistake by bandie for sure
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: But it wasn't a single incident for special teams and you got to start worrying because this has been happening over and over again this year where there's been mistakes now with Marvin Mims when he comes back in his healthy I'm not as worried about that type of stuff, but you got bandie they went out and and.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: Brought in Jalen Virgil.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's a recognizable name for a try out.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: I know he was kind of kicking around back when he was on the team Whether he could do any returning so they're they're looking for something in hopes to to get by until Marvin Mims comes back
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: It kind of goes with the theme of this team with boneheaded mistakes and penalties.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_02]: I can't think on one phase where it hasn't happened.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_02]: So I suppose it's a conversation worth having.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: If you really want to go there and I know the fella's got to do it this week.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: Should Darren Rizzi be terminated?
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: And there's an article floating around over at Mahahoodle.com.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: There's debates on these air waves.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_02]: I got to tell you.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: No, we shouldn't be terminated.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: This is a head coaching thing Sean.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: You got to figure out a way as the head coach to get your guys to buy in and be disciplined.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_02]: It got much better on the defensive side of the ball.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_02]: I will give Sean Peyton that advanced Joseph is flowers.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: A lot better.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: Riley Moss could have been flagged out that you know what in Houston, but he played smart.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: Took that recovery step and didn't grab.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: Am I absolutely loved seeing it?
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: So Riley had a very, very good game.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: When you look at the Broncos and the Raiders it's short week right the NFL trade deadline came and went yesterday and the Broncos so many reports Tom talking about like Oh the Broncos are going to be super active at the wide receiver the tight end position for weeks and then the day of you know I was a Jordan Schultz or somebody out there all the Broncos are thinking about causing a major Blake storm or whatever it was.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_02]: and nothing happened.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: Talk me through your emotions with the NFL trade deadline because I got to be honest, if the Broncos aren't trading for players, you really think they're going to fire their special teams coach after a couple of snafos in Houston.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's not going to happen.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: This is a team that feels they are most playoff ready now.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: Sean expects this team to go deep into the playoffs.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think this team is starting to believe that they can cause some real damage.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: Just look at their six gang win streak.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_02]: They're one of two teams that are undefeated at home.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: They've got a one-game lead in the AFC West over the six and three Los Angeles Chargers.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: And they're playing in their Orange Crush 70 throwbackers is again Tom on Thursday night football.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_02]: for the whole world to enjoy.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: The best uniform and professional sports is coming to an Amazon Prime televised event near you.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: Why am I getting so excited about the throwback jerseys?
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: Because there's something there.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_02]: Last time, you look good, you play good.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: They hung 27 points, Ish, on Dallas in the first half.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: We got to start fasting in the Raiders.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I love, you know, I love the throwback.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: So watching them in those, it's always awesome.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: And whether or not that means they are going to be victorious because of the uniform, I don't really buy into it, but whatever we can do to get our hopes up for the Thursday night game, that's fine with me.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I would like to go back to your question about the trade deadline.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: I was not too excited about them going to do anything and then you started getting all these reports that they were and it actually kind of like peaked my interest like maybe they are and I think they were looking but I just don't think there was anybody that they were willing to give.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: a lot for that would make a significant difference on this team.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that there might be somebody that can bring in a depth piece.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: I was hoping, you know, as you know, for McCoy, the center out of New Orleans, but he got hurt and that was out.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think that might have been something that they would have done.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: But it's just it's just one of those things where it was an anti-climactic which is fine with me because you're you're not going to typically you're not going to find a superstar at the trade deadline that's going to come in and make your team completely different and not give up the house like like indie had to do for For Sasquart garden or two first round picks up that's a lot to give up
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so I just, it's one of those things where I kind of got excited when I wasn't before because of all the reports that are coming out that they're going to do something, but I just couldn't see who it was.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: I just couldn't see, you know, who they were going to really put out a lot of draft capital for.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: Well, an unpopular opinion.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a sauce gardener guy.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: Tom, I'm not.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, either.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think to be fair, just to be fair.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: So you know what kind of level of ridiculousness you're dealing with.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't high on derailed revis if I was being completely honest with you.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I see talent there.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_02]: But then.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: Those two guys, and we're PS2, Champaley, come on now.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: I see what all the debates on social media, I digress.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_02]: Film a Glawflint, giving some Facebook support, man.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Phil, appreciate all the stars.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: A ride and die heart here on Wednesday nights with us.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_02]: Good evening, Thomas Luke and Dickens Scott.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: We better see some improved play from the special teams.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_02]: Let's hope that the referees are not past interference.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: Happy against Riley Moss.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_02]: Tom Riley Moss popped up on the injury report.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to get to that here in just a second and speaking of Riley Moss.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think in the wake pass returns injury.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: We all look at Riley Moss of as a bit of an underdog right well speaking of underdog football season guys.

- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: 44 to 20 Broncos tomorrow.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: David, you're looking like some of the predictions I was reading about on MyHealth.com's official My Ohio Roundtable.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: Tom, where I've noticed we're all for the most part
- 13:55[SPEAKER_02]: the Broncos record seven and two and there are a few of us that have a third loss or I don't think anyone's got a fourth loss on there, but I don't think I'm telling any tales out of school when I say I don't think a single staff writer went with the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night football.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you got it on paper.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of those things where the Raiders are a bad team.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos are a good team.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's at home.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: They just Raiders just trained it away.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: They're number one, Raid receiver.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're a mess.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_02]: So number two, technically he was the number two, but he was, you're right.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they were trying to trade both of their wide receivers and they got rid of one guy.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's ridiculous.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, I got rid of them to the team that just beat their blank in Las Vegas, Jacksonville, Jaguires, they turn around and trade him away to the team that just made them say daddy a couple days earlier.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's the right thing.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's a weird thing.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's a weird thing that they did.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, it is the Raiders.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: They have nothing to play for.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: They know it.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: They want to be their AFC West rival.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to come out with all, you know,
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: all guns ablaze and so to speak.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think it's going to be a blow.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: I really hope it is, but you never know if these AFC West rivalies, even with a bad raiders team, you never know.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I still think the Broncos are going to come out on top, and I hope it's a blow out because that's a lot more fun for me on East Coast time now.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: But we'll see, we'll see how it goes.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be exciting, man, to see the Broncos be one of the top dogs in the NFL on Crime Time Action.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's been a minute.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's been a spell.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: And how's that Gino Smith peak care over Union, working out there in Sin City?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: Just asking, asking for a fan base.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, the Raiders still presents a lot of threats to this Denver Broncos team.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: I break it down for you and my three keys to victory up right now, monohyehubble.com, uh, one of the most obvious for me.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's a year in your house bases.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: Max Crosby's an absolute animal.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about the trade deadline.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: The Raiders just couldn't do us a favor and get rid of that part of the Max Crosby.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Tom, we talk about it.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like I talk about it.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_02]: Beg about it every year.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like wouldn't it be nice?
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: If Max Crosby got traded out of the AFC West, but here we are five Saxonate games.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: He leads his defense with 13 tacos for a loss.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: He's more of a complete football player, Tom.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_02]: then he has been he used to just be the past rush specialist six passes defended a fourth formal and interception.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a note for the football.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: We know he's got that little bit of a rivalry with Beau remember that last year and Denver and both changing the play and Max Crosby's yelling at Beau.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: They don't know what the bleep you're saying.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: I love it man.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: That is the villain that is Max Crosby.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be taking on our very own Garrett bulls who as you know Tom is playing out of his mind right now Garrett bulls is dare I say having the best season in his long in the tooth career.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is the best season by far.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, back when he got that second team all pro, he was helped a lot by the, the change in the philosophy of calling holding calls.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: But this year, that isn't the case.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's just, he has straight up having a great year, a great year.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I, I did not see this coming.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: No, we were thinking what's the life look like after Garibolt's and knock on wood for help for the big fellow, but Mike McGillan, she, this Broncos offensive line, they're starting to make it work.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: And we talk about early offense, right?
- 17:32[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm so tired of these fourth quarter comebacks, Tom.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: I get it.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: Denver's awesome in the fourth quarter are coming back.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_02]: No one's better.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: Or no, when trailing in the fourth quarter of the season, right?
- 17:42[SPEAKER_02]: Nix, Bonyx, Bo Chapman, Nix, that is.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: 7 to 1 passing touchdown, interception ratio, a 105.3 passer rating.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't want to have a heart attack for the first three quarters.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: Every single game with this team.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: They drive me nuts.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_02]: You look at what they can do on offense.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_02]: And if
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: only they could get in gear for all four quarters.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: This is a team who is still a top 10 rushing offense.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe I'm saying that.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: There's seventh best rushing Tom, 13334 yards per game.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: JK Dobbins, he's a top five rusher.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's a top five Russia RJ Harvey rookie Quadzilla.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's tied with Cortland Sutton and Troy Franklin with four receiving touchdowns.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: They've got the firepower Tom.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's just putting together in the first half that seems to be the struggle.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, part of the two is for some reason Sean Peyton doesn't want to stick to the run all the time.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, so you look at who look at it, he said they ran, had four runs, averages over six yards per carry.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then they ran at once in the next series and then once again in the next series, they just kind of completely gave up on it.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, really that first drive was 20 if you exclude bone mixes runs was 20% of their entire rushing attempts happen on that very first drive.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: And it worked.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: They were, they were gaining yards.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: And then out, it seems like, oh, well, that next play didn't work so good.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: So we're just going to step away from it.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: I thought, okay, they're coming back in the first half.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they're going to do it again.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: They started to have some success.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then when you know it, they really didn't go back to it.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: If you go back to the Dallas game, they seem to stick with the run and they ended up putting some points on the board.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that Sean needs to trust that the running game is going to work even if there's a couple plays that it doesn't.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: Because that seems like when he decides to go away from it.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think any screen pass I see I instantly think of you pulling your hair out Tom and just breaking out because remember you but you're out on Sean Payton.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: I remember that.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: So drives me nuts too predictable, right?
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: I can hear you when I see these screens and they are driving me nuts too Tom.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: They were even getting after it in the telecast, right?
- 19:57[SPEAKER_02]: Darrell Johnson getting all upset at Sean Payton for it.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's so odd that Sean is better at adapting in half time than being the season to play caller to come out and stick to this amazing mastermind script.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: But once you're rather almost have it, they're gotten the game out, right?
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's look at being on show.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: So if when he was a head coach, and I'll throw a little while in his defensive coordinator, career, the big thing was adapting at half time was a big struggle for Vijay.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: The big thing was run defense.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: This team can't stop the run.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: They're humming in the D-Line Tom.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: This defensive line, this offensive line, this team goes as the big ugly goes.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: Would you see out of that Broncos defensive line in Houston?
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, obviously you look at that goal line stand and I talked about it too.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: Which one?
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Which one, Tom?
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the one that everybody's talking about and drink green lot deserves, you know, credit for making those tackles.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: But if you look at the defensive line, and I call that one player specifically just because you gave me so much crap in the off season because that I liked them.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: But the defensive line is where it made that made all of that work.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: Are you talking about Tom go ahead baby?
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, my guy was Ricky.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: I said, you know, they've been around for a reason.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: I kept saying that and they like it.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: They like him a lot.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, I would not be surprised to see them not trying to give Roach a contract because they think they think that high level was a decay because he's he's a free agent, uh,
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right, in twenty twenty six, so after this year, Wazaree case got one more year left on his contract, but you watch that those three plays in a row two swim moves got into the back backfield assisted on one of the tackles basically and then the last play he, you know, basically penetrated and blew that whole play up.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't get any credit for it, obviously, except for for me, because he wasn't there making the tackle.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: I drink green off.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: But that's where this all works.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: Is that defensive line was the one that made it work, and the reason why green law was able to make those tackles and he found that it could get in there, because if they were getting pushed back, it wouldn't have mattered.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was pretty impressive.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it defeated the soul of the, what is that, okay Adam said?
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was your presence running back.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: Your soul was crushed or something like that did a really good job describing it.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Drake Green, well, welcome, man.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's time.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: This is what you're supposed to be doing.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to fall all over myself, because I loved him when he got here, but the way it started, Tom, I'm still a little bit or about it.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to forgive Drey, but for 37% of the snaps and getting those four run stops, stuff, a loss or no gain, tied for the best in the league.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, okay, I see you.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: Justin's turn at, man, it's still.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_02]: playing very good football.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Alex Singleton is limited as he is.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_02]: He's doing quite well and that's their guy, right?
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: I know we would have preferred an upgrade on this show, all three of us, but this is their guy.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: This is how they're rolling, Riley Moss, Brandon Jones, who fun guy?
- 23:06[SPEAKER_02]: I mean these guys, how about the rooks?
- 23:08[SPEAKER_02]: Today, Baron, man, great job for the Broncos secondary in bands shows, if when we're wondering what life would be like the next three, four weeks without Pastor Tan.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: But I got to be honest,
- 23:19[SPEAKER_02]: When I look at the injury report and we're going to let you know which Bronco is starting wide receivers, not going to be in the prime time game tomorrow here in a second, but Riley Moss popped up.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_02]: the injury report with an ankle.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: Didn't practice very early in the week and then he was limited the last couple of days today was more so a walk through.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos can't afford to have Riley Moss limping around with an ankle Tom.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what the severity of it is, but Marvin Mims missing this game.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm less concerned about that, more concerned about Riley Moss in this ankle.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's hope that he is okay to go and he's he's a hundred percent.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the injury is.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: You don't get a lot of detail.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's a full go.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm assuming he's a full participant.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to be hobbled out there.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: He can go out there and play.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's not a hundred percent, but let's hope it's pretty darn close to it.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, they've got to whether this storm until certain comes back and they're really hoping that this is a four week injury.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: so that he's back after the buy certain I think that's what they're hoping otherwise they to put him on IR and if they did that he would have missed the the commander's game so I think I think they're hoping that he's back after the buy so really they've got to get past the Raiders I'm not really worried about a potent Raiders passing a tack or anything like that I am more worried about next week I hope Broncos aren't
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: But I am a little bit more worried about the chiefs coming to town with a hobbled secondary.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it got to get through the Raiders too and look, you know, I'm talking about Max Crosby, I'm making fun of Gino Smith, you know, I can't make fun of and it was my top key to victory this week for Romoha, Hettle.com, Brock Bowers, the top key to shut this offense down, flock to Brock.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: This guy went insane against the Jaguars Tom, as you know, 12 receptions for 127 yards and three, three, three studies against,
- 25:19[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, big upgrade, not Dalton Schultz, how are the Broncos linebackers going to survive a good test because you got, I know Travis Kelsey's getting the wedding planned and he's not the same tied in that we're used to seeing, but I don't need a career resurgence at the expense of the Denver defense here in a couple weeks.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: This is a great test for the Broncos to get ready to be preparing themselves for two very,
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: How are you feeling about the linebackers?
- 25:50[SPEAKER_02]: You rollin' with safeties?
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: How do you cover Brock Bowers?
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's not with Alex Singleton, that's for sure.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_01]: Because he's a freaking liability.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: Schultz burnt him so bad in that first test series that it was terrible.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: It means terrible.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not him.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hoping, I mean, they seem to have found some success with the rookie Baron on tight end.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm hoping that that continues.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: I hope that they, I mean, I loved it when
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: you know back in the day when Shanahan put champ Bayley on Antonio Gates or you know that he's like and that's their biggest threat we're putting our best cover guy on their biggest receiving threat they didn't care was a tight end so what he did so hopefully PS2's done it's a Kelsey yeah yeah so hopefully they continue with Baron on the tight end instead of trying to you know let the I mean he's he's too talented for a lineback to recover I mean it has to be aware
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: You go in on one hand, right, because you got to you got to pick your deficiency seismist mismatch with a corner and a much better cover player in today barren or you're going to go with the limited athleticism and speed in a bigger and more comparable tackler and an Alex single to in the Justin certain that we know drag ring well and I'm going to do it.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, so it's just he got to pick your poison right Tom or.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: Can you do a combination of things?
- 27:17[SPEAKER_02]: Can you work in a little bit of both?
- 27:19[SPEAKER_02]: Can we get who Funga?
- 27:20[SPEAKER_02]: Who's been a one-man wrecking crew back there?
- 27:23[SPEAKER_02]: Can we just say like he's the demolition guy and Brandon Jones is back there with a surgical scalpel cleaning everything else up?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: It's truly impressive to see this Bronco safety tandem.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_02]: Why don't think it's enough credit in the NFL?
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: They're awesome.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: I have loved what Khufanga has brought to the table and you know, we've talked about it all last season.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like how surprised we were about Brandon Jones's play and it's only it's the same.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's still playing as good, but he's not making those wow plays like Khufanga.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: So he's kind of lost in the background a little bit his playing he's playing great.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, obviously they're going to do a combination of things.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: But when if if Brock, I mean, they just trade away with Jacobi Myers.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: There's really not a threat on the outside.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: They need to focus on powers and make genosmith throw it to the other, the other receivers and see if they can beat you.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's the, that should be the game plan after making sure they don't run all of a real.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_02]: Who's I don't even know who's the Raiders back up quarterback these days.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: I'm feverishly typing that into Kenny pick it Yeah, I'm trying to think I feel like it was um
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can't remember now.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_02]: It was somebody that that sounds about right sounds like a reader's David coming David coming in with a good reminder saying guys the defense so far they've slow down a lot of good running back to season.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think we're gonna see out of Ashton, Janty?
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: This is a guy that we both liked heading into the draft.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: He was my favorite back.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: I was wanting coach to go up and get him and
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: What the hell do I know?
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: Because J.K. Domains is a top five running back with 695 rush yards as it sits today.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_02]: Quadzilla again, he's putting together a very productive running combination.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: When you look at J.K. and RJ together, both running backs 900 yards, Tom, six touchdowns, and 41st downs.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: I take you through the run game over mahahello.com.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think we're going to
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I hope it's not very much because that should be the key.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, again, put the ball in genosmith's hands and let him try to beat you.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: That should be the game plan.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: Whether he's thrown to Brock Bowers or the no name folks has got on the outside doesn't matter, that should be the game plan.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: Make genosmith beat you and he can't.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: He is it turned over prone with this defense, the pressure that they apply.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: he's going to throw some picks.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully, they, I mean, obviously, Van's Joseph knows this.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: He should be prepared to shut down any semblance of a running game and let Gino Smith start sling in it.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: That if that happens, if they completely shut down the running game and Gino Smith has to throw, this is going to be a Broncos blow.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be great because Gino's going to just get whipped up on.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: I have a feeling, and yeah, Tyler Lockett got picked up by the Raiders, what a couple of weeks ago we were talking about that on this show.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's definitely in the mix.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_02]: are to know where you're at with things as a franchise or at least trying to analyze it.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_02]: I would imagine if you're a player when you're essentially in rebuild mode here in week nine.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's, it's, we can't even say Cabo on three yet because we haven't even had the turkey fellas.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's all times there on Las Vegas and I know Tom Brady's on minority owner.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: Not even 12 can write the wrongs of this franchise.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_02]: That is the Las Vegas Raiders for you.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: I can't stand the Raiders.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: I hate them so much.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_02]: You know that there's no love loss there.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: I want the Raiders to get embarrassed.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_02]: If there are chains out there, I want them to get snatched.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_02]: I need to keep to leave vibes.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: I need someone.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_02]: I need Max Crosby John with Beau.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I need Beau go and crazy eyes.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_02]: Who was that that Beau was getting after?
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: On the road last year.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_02]: Remember Bowen all crazy eyes.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's one of my fantasies.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I thought it was Crossbee.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: What's next?
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: Crossbee, but I could be wrong.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: I just remembered this.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: The freaky eyes.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_02]: Great.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_02]: It would both.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_02]: And have you noticed too about Bowen?
- 31:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's been smiling a lot more.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_02]: What's up with that?
- 31:36[SPEAKER_02]: Even Sean.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_02]: I thought I saw a smile from Sean.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: before he told Will Lutz to go win it for us.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_02]: I wrote about it.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got that out of the car, Phil, what's up, buddy?
- 31:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm hoping Sean Peyton starts running and sticks with it.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_02]: I also hope that Benito finally gets credit for another couple of sacks.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the thing, Phil, and I know Broncos country.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_02]: we want our pound of flesh with Nick Benito.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: We want our word.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_02]: We want our defensive player the year to stay here in Denver, Colorado, right?
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: Pass it from Pastor Tandonick Benito.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: Teams are game planning for Nick Benito now, but fear not, film a little offlin because you have a talented defensive line that's getting after it.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about Jonathan Cooper, Nick Bonito, on this show at Nazim.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_02]: The names that we're not getting into and we haven't gotten into tonight, but you and I both love.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: John Franklin Myers, that's my guy.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: You're kind of ready to get rid of him and kick that can out the door, Tom, and he's been falling.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_02]: Now, are the Procos going to pay him probably not, but let's enjoy the ride while we're there.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: Zach Allen.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_02]: out of his mind performance right now 99 and he's banged up a little bit tough as nails.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm always worried when I see 99 go off the field.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so relieved when he comes back.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: What this defensive line is doing at the past rush definitely helps.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: So if Nick Benito is being occupied, someone else is getting up there.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm with you Phil.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: We got to see Nick Benito get back in the sack category and straight games.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to start with the Raiders.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you've watched Benito, he's missed a couple, right?
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: In the last couple of games that he should have had.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: He had, and he just missed him.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: But there's several plays that you go and watch.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: The reason someone got a sack was because Benito.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: So he's still doing his job.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: He just doesn't have the numbers.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the big numbers that he was having.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: But they'll come back.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: He, you know, like I said, a couple of near misses.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: And you're right on John Franklin Myers.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: I thought, okay, they've drafted Savion Jones.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be the heir apparent.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to develop him and John Franklin Myers is going to, you know, not get paid.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the problem is they haven't let save John's play.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's had six snaps on defense, one active game.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: And that was because of an injury came in.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're not going to, I don't need to develop them, then what are you going to do with Franklin Myers?
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: They need to get him game time.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I know practice is good and all of that, but
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing is better or developing is actual game time, and that's what he needs.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: So for my perspective, if they're not going to put him, if they're not going to play Sabian Jones, they better make a plan to offer something for Franklin Myers.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_01]: So he doesn't get away because, well, I guess it depends on one thing.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: It depends on how far they go in the playoffs.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: If they go deep in the playoffs, then I think they try and bring him back.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: If
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know, if they win the Super Bowl, they don't they're not going to care.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: And if they're like, they feel like they're okay.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: We're a couple players off.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just keeping what we have together.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: Then they may let them walk to.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it all depends on just where they end up, but I just have this feeling that they're not developing saving on Jones for a reason.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they think he's two years away.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, sometimes they do that with these D-Line men, right?
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: And sometimes they work out and sometimes... Look at your guy, who's a Riqueh, man?
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: He took some time in the cooker.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I know he needed to sit on the sideline for a bit because he wasn't playing nice with fan-dool in the NFL, and they don't play that.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: But it took some time.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: And sometimes it takes a little bit for these guys.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: You could be right.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_02]: I know you can't wait to see LSU, right?
- 35:03[SPEAKER_02]: Your guy from LSU, because him and the Broncos assistant D-Line Coach were both at LSU if I had to.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: With Saviour on Jones.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_02]: it's nice to have an embarrassment of riches on the d-line and speaking of riches man a good rich friend of the show Clayton here on saying guys smash that like button share we really really appreciate you Clayton thank you for Wayne and here's a name I haven't heard in a long time it's a key time Larry what's up our guy Lawrence Rivera
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: What is up Larry, hopefully you and yours are doing well.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you and kids had a fantastic Halloween broke.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_02]: The Raiders, I used to love seeing it when they lose.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: They get all mad.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: They do.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: They get so mad.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: They get so upset, so offended.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_02]: I hope Broncos Country gives them the business.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then we're tomorrow night.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: He'd think they'd be used to it by now because they have been losers for years.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: They have had more, I mean, this one franchise, the radio franchise was one of the best in the league for many years, but they have been terrible.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: Terrible for a very long time.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: I hate I hate to see that they have any success But yeah, the rate of spent should be used to it by now because they've done nothing but lose for the last what 15 years Maybe more and their own city doesn't even want them like lost Vegas you go to Vegas and you start asking like seriously man to go take an over take a taxi Take a limo anywhere you're going and ask ask them about it, right?
- 36:29[SPEAKER_02]: And the guys is gals They're like we don't care about the rate.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know whatever.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I go ready to it
- 36:34[SPEAKER_02]: Then I'll care, you watch the Raiders game, like I was watching the Jacksonville Jaguars game last week, man.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_02]: There were more Jags fans in the house.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: Then Jaguars, Jacksonville, Florida fans.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: in Las Vegas, then their own damn pace.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can take you trip to Vegas, have fun watch your your team play against the really good, you know, and then have a good time for few days.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's this close to a sure thing is you can get instant city is getting after the raiders.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's tough, man.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_02]: The Raiders third worst offense in terms of yards per game at 283.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: The fourth worst scoring offense at a whopping 16.5 points per game.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: The Raiders are not a good team on paper, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: on a weekly basis, these underdogs, these upsets, they happen.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_02]: We try to prepare for it as best we can for each week, but I'm feeling good, right?
- 37:31[SPEAKER_02]: I went with the Broncos in this one.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_02]: I know you went with the Broncos in this one, but we just, we want to see a complete game.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: We want to see progression and your, your guy, man, I don't know.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_02]: How are we going to get to week 12 if Marvin Mims is out with a concussion that moonball but next to Marvin Mims man It's coming up here.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's getting late early We just want to see progressions and I think Sean Peyton.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_02]: There's a common theme with Broncos country right now You're running the ball very well.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_02]: You're also stopping the run
- 38:02[SPEAKER_02]: can we just keep those things together for a little while and trust that the pass will be there when we need it?
- 38:09[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Sean asked to stay out of his own way.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: And when it comes to the running the football, I just don't get it, but Tom, I ask you this.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: We'll Sean Payton have his orange pants on tomorrow for the throwback threads.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_02]: Remember, he made a big stick about it.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: And you got after him too, saying the hoodie didn't match the pants and matching.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_02]: He got after everybody else who asked him about his team.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_02]: We need to come up with a different version of more advanced.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know Tom, Bruce Pearl, I think pulled off an orange pants moment one time.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think men should be wearing orange pants, but John, going to be in the orange pants club.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: he doesn't have to wear orange pants where frickin' navy slacks and put an orange throwback hoodie on.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, for granted, you don't have to go out there all orange.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: Just wear the frickin' hoodie.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: Had an hoodie.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's all you need to do.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_02]: My kid, when is the Lorax for Halloween?
- 39:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Sean and Lorax.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, I need Sean out there, like the Lorax.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: Just mind this and none of that for throwback weekend.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know what's funny,
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: Sean goes like three quarters.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_02]: What's with that?
- 39:15[SPEAKER_02]: What's with the, you know, all their special little quirks that they have.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: We know Sean gets the fresh jays, right?
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: The Jordan's every single game.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, man.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_02]: This is feeling like a big prime time moment for the Broncos to just put a statement on their record moved to eight into where the playoff start in two weeks when the when the chiefs come to Denver caller out of Tom.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's when the playoff start and
- 39:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so grateful that we're at this point in the season where it's seven and two Broncos verse raiders.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm hoping that with Sean Payton and Pete Carroll for the first time on the sidelines meets the Broncos as the Raiders head coach.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know Pete Carroll he gets after guys to maybe the rivalry can be restored just a little bit even though I want the Broncos to whip up on the Raiders.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: I want the Raiders to feel distinct.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you know, eight and two that puts them in the driver's seat.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're, they have a shot at the number one seed with their, they're eight and two, they get to nine to two, nine and two, that's that puts them in the driver's seat.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: I know that the cold speed them and I know that.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the Patriots are right there too.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't trust them as much.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't trust the Daniel Jones, even though he's having a great year, I just don't trust that he's the guy yet.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so I don't know.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like the Broncos aren't getting enough credit for winning and others are.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess it's because, you know, they get the style points, right?
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: They, you know, putting up more points and they're not, you know, getting lucky and winning at the end of the games.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'll tell you what.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: get this getting lucky and winning at the end is going to help them mentally in the playoffs more than beating teams uh you know blowing teams out because they are they are ball tested their mental prepared they're going to go out there and think they can win.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: at any point at any time during the game, and that's an edge, whether you think that, you know, mental game is, you know, it's, it's all talented, that's, it's not true.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: That you have to have that mental aspect being able to know that you're going to win.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know,
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: These things will come back and help them in the playoffs more so than, hey, we just beat you by 20 points and we threw a bunch of the passes and it was an aerial show and all that.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'd rather see them win like this now and learn how to do it.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: And it's something you can lean on when everything's bad.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's when you're truly tested as a team, whether that's in a sports at the workplace or in your own household, right?
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: When the times are bad and when you look at each other and you're like, man, this sucks, but I promise I'm not going anywhere.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to get through this.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's when you can truly see transformation.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I think we're getting glimpses to that as the regular season marches on Roy Osmore in front of the show.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_02]: These divisional games are played tougher than any other game.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, here's the thing.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: This is the second AFC West game the Broncos have played this year.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: They're Owen one in the AFC West.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_02]: What was that week three that they lost to the charges by two points?
- 42:24[SPEAKER_02]: I think, well, are they four points away time?
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: Last minute of the whole.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's really, yeah, four points away from being undefeated, but I mean, you know, that you just can't.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: With the chargers, that the chargers march down the field and kick the field goal.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: And they, you know, you got to give him credit for that.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: The leverage penalties, what gets me like that one leverage penalty had they not called that it would have changed that game and the Broncos have won us.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: So it's thinking of leverage, dude.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: What was that in the Houston game?
- 42:55[SPEAKER_02]: Was that a leverage that blocked Bogo by the first Bogo attempt on our guy will let some of you give me a break when we're going to call it and when we're not, I just I can't figure it out.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the the the the referring the officiating is it's just so inconsistent and that's what is driving fans nuts it's it's inconsistent they don't they don't call the same thing for the same you know on the same different players and it looks like favoritism it it's just it's a it's hard to trust.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: that the officiating is doing the job correctly without some interior mode of because it's so inconsistent.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying that they have it, I'm just saying that in consistency, that's what it breeds.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't, and they not feel protects them.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: So they don't have to face any consequences for it.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: So it looks like, well, they can do whatever they want.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that's why Drey Greenloss go on up to referees after the game stand and invite you guys right now because I can't do anything else.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: That means,
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: They have to click them back around with the Broncos wind and the chargers lost, that sure would help.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I typed it in.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't realize what is its Steelers at chargers this week.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Steelers always competitive.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_02]: That would be fantastic.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos have a one game lead in the AMC West over the chargers.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_02]: the chiefs are hanging around and the uh... the raiders will they suck so this is good banged up like they always do they've lost both their starting tackles so i mean they've been
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, so you've got the charges are are that team that just for some reason is jinxed and here they are, that's happening again and you know, this is the opportunity for the Broncos to like like David said, take put a little bit more space between them and the next the next team in that division.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_02]: Peter Johnson went in over on Facebook trying not to make any jokes.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: Pete, the Raiders trenches are rubbish.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos should beat up on them tomorrow and it should not be closed.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, that's being generous, man.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: Rubbish.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: They're hot garbage.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, but it's really getting anything to happen.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos are playing with.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_02]: what second third string left guard at this point.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_02]: Tom, I do like when Sean Peyton tries to commit to the run game early, and I don't know if Peter, if you saw this, too.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: How about him kicking garables out as the tight end and bringing your guy Palcho in?
- 45:22[SPEAKER_02]: Your guy was sick.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_02]: Your guy had a cold or some nasty bug.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_02]: They were keeping him the hell away from everybody from the last part.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean,
- 45:29[SPEAKER_02]: Ethan, I was thinking about you the whole time.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, Oh, no, Tom's going to be so sad.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: Alex Peltchewski's sick, but big cat played.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_02]: I love it when they bring Alex Peltchewski and it's the left tackle and they just bump garables over because Garrett is so explosive and athletic, but he can run corner backs down.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_02]: He can just, I mean, we're not just trying to give the
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: scraped the D-Lineman and get to a backer.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_02]: I just need Sean to stick with it because Peter's right man.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: This team goes as the O-Line D-Line goes and our big ugly's are playing their tails off.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and as the old editor, you win in the trenches, and that's the truth.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and that's why the Broncos, that's why they had the goal-line stance.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's why they beat Houston, because their defensive line out performed the offensive line when it mattered the most in that Houston game, and that's why they end up with field goals instead of touchdowns.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: And so the Broncos have a better offensive defensive line than the Raiders by far.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: They should take advantage of it.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: Is that attitude technique, coaching, or controlling?
- 46:34[SPEAKER_02]: All of it.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: On the whole line stands Tom.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that just feels like attitude.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_02]: That just feels like, let's meet in the center of the ring and slug it out.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's one of these things where you're just, I
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think of UFC when it used to be really cool, like actual UFC, like Stefan Bonner, Forest Griffin fighting for the first ultimate fighter award or whatever it was.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_02]: And you just see two guys come out and they're like, let's give it a tech make man, let's just start throwing.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, who's going to be the last man standing?
- 47:03[SPEAKER_02]: You're right, and they're proving that to themselves, but they're proving it to the rest of the world with different combinations, guys that are on snap counts, practice squad guys that are getting elevated.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_02]: Luke Wattenberg is playing a little bit better.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'll give him some flowers.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to fall over myself and say the Denver needs to commit.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_02]: But he's playing a little bit better.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_02]: It helps when you've got Quinn Minish next to you who is playing yet particularly well.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: Should get approval not.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you've got, you're going to have people coming back too.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_01]: So you're going to get Ben Powers back in December.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, they're making do with a banged up offensive line.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like you said, they're down to their third left garden.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody else is stayed fairly healthy, knock on wood, but you know, that the key is having everybody
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: He, you know, in sync when it comes to the offensive line.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: And they've been able to do that.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: I've always been a big Alex Palchewski fan.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm glad that he's in there.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: But obviously, you know, he was a backup.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: And but once they get that back, then you can start doing the same things they were doing with Palchewski coming in off the bench and being that that extra offensive line and people were loving it.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully they can start to get healthy again as you get into December and you start that stretch run.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: Their offensive line has been pretty dang good even though it's banged up and their defensive line has been has been great.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's all I can say it's been great.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_02]: They must just iron sharpened iron, right?
- 48:30[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't that what the Marcus were used to fall on in terms of 2015?
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: And Jonathan Sullivan went in over on Facebook.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: Man, thanks, John.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: Anybody see old man, Uncle Mercedes Lewis, rock, will head to the junior on the edge last week.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be a big deal in our own game.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man, how about making a debut?
- 48:48[SPEAKER_02]: That wasn't like a devastating twin miners.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to just destroy you.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_02]: But it was impressive to see a 40 year old player come in
- 48:58[SPEAKER_02]: grab another man and just take him to task against his will dispensing justice right is that a martial arts says dispensing justice dude Marseilles Lewis I told you Tom you'd make a difference
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, well, I was sitting here saying he's going to be a good rumblake, but I don't expect me to get ready to get such a thumbs up, so I can see it a little bit.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_02]: I lose a recale to see it on that and okay, just watch out for Mercedes.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm telling you, I'm telling you, they're going to get him to touch down.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to do it.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_02]: You know, there's a bet going on in that tight end room or in the coaching room, and you know, Sean's going to scheme up a way to do it.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_02]: on Thursday night football so that way everyone can fall all over themselves for the brilliance of Sean Payton and going to get these older got we all can see the graphics of father time in Mercedes Lewis in our heads right now on Thursday night football telling you John I'm with you there's going to be a sneaky it's on likes being sneaky with the tight heads made atkins right at him trout men these unsuspecting targets he just has to have enter one Mercedes loose.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what is the oldest tie-to-end ever catch a touchdown?
- 50:05[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe, or the oldest player, I don't know.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: What's the oldest player to ever catch a touchdown?
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: So, probably Jerry Rice at what he played till 40, 140, too, something like that.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, it'd be interesting if there was some sort of interesting tidbit like that that Sean Peyton found and wanted to make it happen.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was George Blanda.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, George Blender, the oldest guy to ever play in hunting touchdown.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 48 years old and 95 days old when he scored a touchdown on December 21st and 1975 of course with the Raiders.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that'll never be broken.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anybody's going to last as long as George planned it did, but he was a kicker for the last half of his career.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm surprised that he he ended up getting a touchdown catch some how or at least scored a touchdown.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe it was a fake kick or something.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_02]: I did not know that that is interesting.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: How are you feeling about prime time?
- 51:09[SPEAKER_02]: Do you like these prime time games?
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm super excited for this one.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's just coming at the best time on this win streak.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos are undefeated at home.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_02]: We talk about mile high magic during these home games.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like Broncos country deserves this moment.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: We've had to weather some very nasty storms.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_02]: The last 10 years, folks, 10 years.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos have been trying to figure out how to get back to the Promised Land.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_02]: think we're starting to see glimpses of a blueprint.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: So let's enjoy the ride.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_02]: Let's enjoy the Pride and Time action.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's going to suck waking up on Friday morning.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_02]: But it's going to be awesome.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: Head into the office, talking about those Broncos.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be off living in a different state that's not in Colorado wearing your orange and blue, rubbing everyone.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's facing it.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be off.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: So Tom, I'm thrilled for this Primetime game.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: It couldn't come in a better time to a
- 52:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I am thrilled now, but I wasn't, you know, the last, last decade as they were so they kept losing.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_01]: So it wasn't, it wasn't fun.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: But now, now it's time to start enjoying it again, which is good, you don't have to be embarrassed the next day because your team, you know, stuck it up on prime time.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_02]: Or, and you don't have to be embarrassed about your quarterback being a walking punch line, right?
- 52:26[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to be embarrassed about your head coach not knowing how many time outs he has.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to be all this silly stuff.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_02]: The guys are staying out of trouble for the most part.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's good too.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody's seen like Halloween came and went.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I say that, right?
- 52:39[SPEAKER_02]: We've had some fun.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're a frog, that's country, yeah.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: It just, I don't know, man.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like things are starting to get going.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's not to say that one loss wouldn't make us feel terrible right one loss and thought the world's gonna fall apart And I don't know trauma hate to say it.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Broncos have at least one more loss coming folks I don't think this team is so good that they're gonna win out here at seven and two as they get ready to host the Raiders
- 53:06[SPEAKER_02]: You get caught.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_02]: Good teams get caught and I'll be very, very curious to see when and if the Broncos get caught.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: If they do though, it's not happening this week and it's not happening at home.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's not happening to the raiders.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's not happening with the orange crush 70s throwbacks.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_02]: Are they undefeated?
- 53:22[SPEAKER_02]: And those by the way, are they really?
- 53:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the last two years.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're undefeated.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they only want them about my high collection in 2024, um, I think the players love it.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_02]: The fan base loves it.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why the hell we just can't do it.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_02]: Just do the thing.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we can't agree on anything in this life.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_02]: We all agree that those are the coldest uniforms done.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm still wearing the hat.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's been six weeks.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_02]: I've been wearing this hat on this show.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_02]: I can't wear an image I had again because I'm afraid I'm going to put the bad juju on the boys.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: let's just say this everybody it's not just the Broncos fans that love it everybody seems to love the Broncos throwbacks even other teams fans are like yeah those are nice i mean let's say it's not it's not just us it everybody likes them i mean i i'll i'll be the first one to say you know when i see a throwback
- 54:13[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you know, another team like, oh, yeah, I like those, you know, even the giants with the with the giants written on their helmet it brings back terrible memories, but I'm still like, yeah, those are pretty nice not me.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'll go up to like the the Philadelphia Eagles in that weird green on, but I got looks like hell.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_02]: And it does.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like hell.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_02]: So you're right though, Tom.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, like my life when she was out and we recently moved, right?
- 54:38[SPEAKER_02]: So she's out and weren't boxed country down here.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_02]: And she's like, man, I get so many compliments.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: She's got the 1970s bone X number 10.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_02]: My kids got orange jersey as well.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_02]: Custom jersey, right?
- 54:49[SPEAKER_02]: All that stuff.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_02]: People are like, man.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_02]: I've looked at those Broncos now, every day, and it's like, yeah, how about those Broncos?
- 54:56[SPEAKER_02]: They're starting to cook seven and two, six game win streak, undefeated at home, welcoming in the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night football guys.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_02]: We are our five minute warning.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_02]: It is your time to get in those last takes, predictions, whatever you all want to talk about, head on over to milehighhello.com, check out our three keys to victory.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_02]: Real short and simple, blocked the Brock Bowers, he's got to be your top priority.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: Bulls versus Crosby, Max protection, if you will, and you've got to shelf these fourth quarter comebacks, early outputs are demanded in this game.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_02]: We have got to see this team move the chains.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: We have to see this team execute.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_02]: And I want to see this team give the Raiders the final kill shot that this old dog needs, because we got to put him out of their misery.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_02]: There are circle in the drain already.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_02]: What better way to do it in the mile high city on Thursday night?
- 55:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, put them out their misery, send them send them back to Las Vegas, get them ready to, you know, start their rebuild or whatever it is they need to do start firing people who knows.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you'd ever know what that team, they don't, they don't, they don't let coaches hang around too long.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: So no, they don't, they just let your minority owners become broadcasters on.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how that whole thing works.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_02]: How about a shout out to our guy, or gal, Sentinel Supreme, saying, I will be at the game, just found out I'm going.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so excited.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go Broncos.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be screaming that the Raiders suck just for you guys.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_02]: Man, congrats.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's always awesome.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, Tom, have you ever had that happen?
- 56:30[SPEAKER_02]: We're just tickets fell into your lap, or you got a phone call from a friend, a family member, and they're like, yo.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm on the way to pick you up.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to this game or cancel whatever you're doing tomorrow.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to this game.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's like it takes you back to when you're a kid, right?
- 56:43[SPEAKER_02]: And your parents foil.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know my parents are worked really hard if I was grinding away at school every once in a while.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_02]: I got a treat like a movie during the weekday.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_02]: Pull me out at lunch.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 56:54[SPEAKER_02]: Pick me out at lunch.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_02]: Go see a movie.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_02]: You ever have a homie, a friend, a family member.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_02]: Just surprise you with tickets.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, the only thing I can think of was we got lucky and one of my wife's friends couldn't go to see Tom Petty at Fenway Park, so we got to go to see Tom Petty at Fenway Park, which was awesome.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: It was awesome.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, kind of.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_02]: Now, kind of.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: Now for sure, growing up in Denver, man, and playing for, I played for Dave Logan at Molin.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_02]: Somehow we, we tended up to find some tickets, so I'm not suggesting Dave anything to do with that, but kids that went to that school, their, their dads were with the Broncos, all the loose football associations.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_02]: So I got to go to quite a few Broncos games.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_02]: I played on that field, I've been in the locker rooms.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's a blast, and it's a true,
- 57:44[SPEAKER_02]: Sentinel Supreme, very generous 999 over on YouTube.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_02]: Got to support the boys as well.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_02]: Go have fun, be safe, and I'll say this to you as much as I hate the Raiders, right?
- 57:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's a football game.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_02]: Let's all have fun.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_02]: Let's all be safe.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_02]: Let's all make sure that we make it home to our family.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, Friday morning is gonna be rough.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: I know, Friday morning is gonna be rough, but it's gonna be even sweeter knowing that the Broncos are the hottest team in the football.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_02]: The Patriots, I'm not buying it.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_02]: I like Mike Vrable.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not in on Drake May, Tom.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not, I would not give up Bo Chapman next for Drake May.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_02]: Drake May is a very good quarterback.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I'm not in Drake May's camp yet.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_02]: It just feels like the Broncos in the Patriots doesn't it feel like these two teams are on a collision course.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it does.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not, you know, I like Drake, man.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's doing a good job.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you got to remember he didn't start a full season last year.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: So he's still learning and he's doing a pretty good job.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I think variables got them playing really well.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, I'm not, I'm not discounting New England, but I do, it does feel like.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_01]: their beatable, right?
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: They feel beatable to me.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_01]: And because they've been playing some pretty, I think their opponents have been lesser.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_02]: Easy as scheduled.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, schedule time.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, you still got to give him credit for one six and a row, too.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_01]: So you can't discat, you can't say, well, the Broncos won six and a row.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_01]: There are awesome New England sucks because they won six and a row, and they got lucky.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're a good team.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_01]: I just think they're a beatable team, same with the cults.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think the culture of beatable team, I think if the Broncos can get a good seed into the playoffs, they have a good chance as anybody to advance, because I think every AFC team is beatable this year.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_02]: just not the Broncos just not the Broncos.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_03]: No way.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_02]: No way, no way.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_02]: Those two losses total plumes.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_02]: We're up against it on the way out real quick because we just take shots at the Raiders.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's what we do here in Denver.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Brady.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of Tom Brady, real quick, did you see?
- 59:49[SPEAKER_02]: Clone does dog.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_02]: I did see that again.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's weird, is that how much money do we want to put the Tom is trying to clone Tom right now to come in and get it going for the Raiders in some more.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_02]: This is a crazy world that we're living in.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_02]: Tom Brady's owning minority owner of the Raiders.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_02]: He's a Fox broadcaster and he's calling in docs.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_02]: He is all in on the Raiders who are going to get blown out tomorrow.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_02]: Folks enjoy the game.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_02]: Thursday night football.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_02]: milehighhuddle.com, check out my three keys to victory that's published.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_02]: Check out our roundtable predictions where we break it down for you and what's going to happen in this game.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_02]: Let's have a lot of fun, Broncos Country.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_02]: I want you guys to go crazy, have a blast, be loud, they're supposed to be like a cool air show, an award-winning drone air show that's happening at half time, I've been hoping super cool.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_02]: So it's going to be a special night in Denver, Colorado, and a fun show, man.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_02]: I was super pumped to get ready for this one with you, Tom.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, me too.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: And let's not forget something that, you know, kind of gets swept under the rug when the Broncos are winning, we've got two former coaches head coaches for the Broncos that are the final nine going into the, you know, the final nine of the pro football Hall thing.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: was going to allow that to probably present him at the ceremony, but let's not forget about that.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Shanahan and Reeves, both great coaches, I think both deserve it, but we need to as fans got to not forget about that because they tend to get forgotten about the next thing you know, people are complaining, why is it my Shanahan in the whole thing?
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's because we sat around and did nothing, thinking that he was a shoe and it's not, it's he's not.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_02]: I love it Tom campaigning and lobbying all for our garden to get in the hall because your friends, your voters, they screw us every time.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_02]: They're not very good friends.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_02]: Tom, I'm never going to let that go.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, a good show up against it.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_02]: If you like to reach out to Tom over on X, please do so at Thomas Hall NFL, you're truly out.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_02]: Luke Patterson LP.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_02]: Don't forget Scott at Scout Kennedy.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_02]: Head on over to milehunter.com.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_02]: Give the pod a follow over on X.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_02]: That's
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_02]: Let's up the Good Times roll Broncos country in the Thursday night football prime time action.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_02]: The Raiders suck.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_02]: This is the way.
