- 0:06Hello basement dwellers. This is a big, big show today.
- 0:11We got a lot to cover $500 silver.
- 0:14Listen, there's just one itty bitty tiny part of the system
- 0:20that needs to fall apart. I mean like 1% of this part of
- 0:24the system and we could see easily $500 silver.
- 0:28The number's actually closer to $600.00 silver.
- 0:31But in the interest of being conservative like I always am
- 0:35with my silver price estimates, I notched it down one bit to
- 0:39$500 per oz. But we've also got big scary
- 0:43news from ABC, the American Broadcasting Corporation.
- 0:48I don't know what the C stands for.
- 0:50None the less, terrorist warning, which is no laughing
- 0:53matter here in the United States.
- 0:56We'll take a look at that as well.
- 0:58Also, new crazy. I mean, absolutely crazy gold
- 1:04rush level news out of Costco. Actually news out of Wells Fargo
- 1:10about what they're estimating. Costco may be selling in gold
- 1:14bullion right now, but on top of it all, we have a special treat
- 1:19today. A massive live update from the
- 1:22State Capitol from our friend Patrick Holland from the
- 1:26Missouri Freedom Initiative, and he'll be joined by Daniel Diaz
- 1:30from Citizens for Sound Money. Why?
- 1:33Come on, basement dwellers, Why? Why is it so important that we
- 1:37get legal tender legislation to protect your right?
- 1:41Yes, you right, silver and gold investor to use the metals as
- 1:46legal tender. One good reason why you may want
- 1:50to consider is that your founding fathers, who had great
- 1:53sacrifice to themselves, wrote it into the Constitution.
- 1:58It's a big deal. Why is Missouri a big deal?
- 2:01You may be asking why, number one right, legal tender
- 2:04legislation in Missouri. And it's not just Missouri.
- 2:07It's sweeping the country, but Missouri.
- 2:10It's the heartbeat of America. It's where Ron's basement
- 2:13originates from, The silver and gold capital of the universe.
- 2:17It's very important, but even more, even more so.
- 2:21Have you thought about this? It's a little known fact.
- 2:24So don't you know you heard it first here in the basement?
- 2:27Did you know? Did you know that if Missouri
- 2:30passes legal tender legislation, it will be the ultimate slap in
- 2:35the face to our old friend? Let's get him out.
- 2:38I'll be right back to our old friend.
- 2:42Yeah, there he is. Jeremy Powell.
- 2:45Gomer Pyle. Jerome Powell.
- 2:47There he is, right. There's his Unicorn.
- 2:49That's what he uses. He squeezes that to make more
- 2:51paper Unicorn fart dust money. But why?
- 2:55Why would that be? The ultimate slap in the face to
- 2:58the Federal Reserve is right here in Missouri.
- 3:02We passed legal tender legislation.
- 3:04Well, let me tell you why. Because little known fact,
- 3:07there's two. Not one.
- 3:09Two Federal Reserve banks in Missouri?
- 3:11Yes, there's one here in Saint Louis and one in Kansas City.
- 3:14I think it's the only state with two Federal Reserve banks.
- 3:17But I might be wrong. I didn't do any research on
- 3:19that. But what a slap to the Fed.
- 3:22Yes, Missouri, despite the fact that on the eastern border and
- 3:25the western border you've got your Federal Reserve fortresses
- 3:29built right, Missouri stood up for their citizens rights to use
- 3:33gold and silver as legal tender. Let's talk about the CPI
- 3:36numbers. Let's talk about gold and
- 3:38silver. Let's talk about what's going on
- 3:41in the markets today. I saw Jake from Jake's custom
- 3:43parts earlier said silver and gold are holding up pretty well
- 3:47in this street fight. I've got shocking news for you,
- 3:51right, Gold? I was talking with Peter
- 3:53Grandich just a few seconds ago. He said, you know, gold should
- 3:56really be down 50 or $100. This morning we had shocking
- 4:01high CPI numbers. I'm going to tell you why it's
- 4:04noise. Forget about it.
- 4:06Silver's going higher, gold is going higher.
- 4:09Actually, what we've seen this morning is like Jake said, a
- 4:12street bite. If you noticed.
- 4:14I mean, have you noticed the short term noise is just not
- 4:19getting to the metals prices? OK, OK, here.
- 4:23Soon I wrote this out for you. Soon the market will realize
- 4:26that the Fed can't do much more to fight inflation.
- 4:31Guys, we've talked about this for weeks.
- 4:33Inflation is going up and up and up.
- 4:37Rates are already high. Everybody's sitting around
- 4:40clamoring, When's the Fed going to lower rates?
- 4:42When's the Fed going to lower rates, right?
- 4:44Especially the general stock market.
- 4:46It's price to perfection. OK, Gold and silver are
- 4:49laughing. Gold and silver, I'm telling you
- 4:51no. That the Fed.
- 4:52'S never going to raise rates because they can't think about
- 4:56this or lower rates. I'm sorry, they're not going to
- 4:58lower rates because that'll send inflation through the roof.
- 5:01But they can't raise rates either.
- 5:03To fight this wave of inflation coming at us, think about the
- 5:08amount. We won't go look at the debt
- 5:10clock. You can do that on your own.
- 5:13Think about the amount of government debt we have in this
- 5:16country. Then think about the amount of
- 5:18corporate debt. These big corporations over the
- 5:21last 10 years were borrowing money like no tomorrow, right?
- 5:25They could borrow money for 1015 years at two or three percent,
- 5:29buy back their stock, give themselves big bonuses.
- 5:32Think of the government debt. Think of the corporate debt.
- 5:34Think about the personal debt. Hopefully not you basement
- 5:38dwellers, because we don't like that.
- 5:40We hate that. But there's so much debt in the
- 5:43world right now that it cannot accommodate, cannot accommodate
- 5:49higher interest rates. So as inflation goes up and up
- 5:52and up and I got news for you, the old wizard.
- 5:54I don't. I'm tempted to get Jerome out
- 5:56again with his box with the old Wizard of Oz, Gomer Pyle.
- 6:00Jerome Powell, right? Right when he he doesn't have as
- 6:04much control as he used to. He's still got a lot of sway,
- 6:08don't get me wrong, right. But there's certain parts of
- 6:12inflation. It just can't be addressed with
- 6:14monetary policy. What a fancy word.
- 6:17That's what the Fed's interest rate policy is referred to as
- 6:21monetary policy. That's great.
- 6:24It's not as potent anymore. And on top of that, OK, there's
- 6:30this whole other component to inflation called supply side
- 6:34inflation, like oil. You know, the the blood of the
- 6:39world economy, right? We, we've talked about that
- 6:41before. Oil is everything.
- 6:44Jerome Powell can't control the price of oil.
- 6:47Actually, this group of countries, huh?
- 6:49Bricks. Have you heard of them?
- 6:51Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Saudi
- 6:56Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates and about
- 7:0040 other countries that are requesting to join 31.
- 7:04That was an exaggeration. Anyway, they are beginning to
- 7:08control. The price of oil.
- 7:11Joe Biden tried to, tried to control the price of oil.
- 7:14Yeah. Did you know?
- 7:15Didn't you know, like right before the last midterm
- 7:17election, he drained our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to
- 7:22keep oil prices low so that you would feel rich and you would
- 7:25vote for Democrats. This is not a political show
- 7:28that's just generally accepted what went on.
- 7:30And if you look at the amount of oil in the Strategic Petroleum
- 7:33Reserve, I think it's lower than like the 1980s.
- 7:36So he can't drain it anymore because he never refilled it
- 7:39after he drained it, right? He drained the Piggy Bank.
- 7:42All right. the Fed can't control the price of oil. the Fed can't
- 7:46control inflation as much as they had in the past.
- 7:49And the Fed certainly isn't going to be able to do what Paul
- 7:53Volcker did in the 1980s and raise interest rates through the
- 7:57roof to control inflation. Because back then, there's one
- 8:01little thing that's different when you compare back then to
- 8:03right now. Back then, we did not have
- 8:05anywhere near the amount of government, corporate or
- 8:10personal debt, right? And it's not just us guys.
- 8:14It's the entire world on top of it.
- 8:18The entire world has, what, 300 trillion in debt?
- 8:21They say. And I got news for you, the
- 8:24entire world can't accommodate higher interest rates.
- 8:27So when inflation continues like we saw this morning, and gold is
- 8:32right there, silver, they're right there, right on the cusp.
- 8:35They're there. They're clawing.
- 8:37They're ready to recognize this. When the world more than just,
- 8:42you know it, I know it, right? Our light bulb went off.
- 8:45We're like the first light that went on in the in the cabin in
- 8:49the morning. But when everybody else wakes up
- 8:51and their lights come on and they realize that oh, you know
- 8:55what? That those, those, that, that
- 8:58that crazy man in Saint Louis and his basement was right.
- 9:02The Fed can't control inflation and the Fed can't raise rates.
- 9:06I need to do something with my dollars because they're losing
- 9:09value, you know, I mean, it's. I know it's hard to believe,
- 9:12'cause you guys got to get yourself one of these.
- 9:15I'm serious. They're readily available.
- 9:16They can print them at will. Paper dollars.
- 9:19Oh, look at that thing. They are kind of pretty nowhere
- 9:22near as pretty as silver. It's losing value.
- 9:25Look, this is what it does There.
- 9:27Watch. It goes.
- 9:29Down in value. When they wake up, that's when
- 9:31things get super, super interesting.
- 9:33Oh, let's talk. About.
- 9:34You want to see something shocking?
- 9:36Oh shoot, I forgot to get ready for the.
- 9:38Hold on a second. Bear with me.
- 9:40Technical difficulties. Technical difficulties.
- 9:44I'm going to show you something. This is worth waiting for.
- 9:47Stunning when it comes to inflation.
- 9:50OK, but I failed to prepare properly for this, so bear with
- 9:55me. It's going to take about 30
- 9:56seconds. In the meantime, I want you to
- 9:58take a deep breath and smile. This is worth waiting for.
- 10:04Do do do. Here we go.
- 10:06Welcome to Ron's Basement, the home of technical problems.
- 10:11OK, we're almost there. And bingo, select.
- 10:18You're probably like me. You know, you get older.
- 10:20Doing all this stuff gets a little more challenging.
- 10:22All this technology, this is going to blow you away.
- 10:25This is this. Come on.
- 10:29Here we go. Sorry, guys.
- 10:31Hold on here. Hold on.
- 10:33Let's get there. Let's get there.
- 10:35Come on, Ronnie. You can do it.
- 10:36All right. I'm just going to put this on
- 10:37the stage. There you go.
- 10:39Hold on, you. Don't want to look at me.
- 10:41You want to look at this. That's not it.
- 10:44That's not it. Oh my gosh.
- 10:46If this isn't in here, I'm going to be so embarrassed.
- 10:49That's not there. It is.
- 10:50OK, guys, this is crazy. Look at this chart.
- 10:53OK, look on the left. Orange juice, coffee, white
- 10:57bread. The list goes on and on the next
- 10:59column. January of 2020, that was the
- 11:02price. Look at orange juice, $3.
- 11:05OK, for 128 fluid ounces. Look at January 2020, Four
- 11:10$4.29. Price increase 40%.
- 11:14We'll we'll. And I want to say thank you to
- 11:16my my old college roommate Sean, who sent this to me.
- 11:21He's been providing me with some great information.
- 11:23Super smart guy. So thank you, Sean.
- 11:25Let's go look at ground beef. How's it done?
- 11:28Oh, it went from $5 a pound to seven dollars a pound, a 40%
- 11:32increase. This is inflation.
- 11:35OK, look at chicken breast, $5 to $8, eggs $1.50 to $3.00.
- 11:42I mean, they're trying to tell you that that inflation's under
- 11:45control, that inflation. They're saying, Oh yeah,
- 11:48Inflation's 3.5% right now on. Well, yeah, but let's look back
- 11:53four years and let's look at like, this is stuff that we eat.
- 11:58Look at Cheerios 3, Cheerios. Why don't they have Captain
- 12:01Crunch on there? I like peanut butter.
- 12:03Captain Crunch. Anyway, $3 to four, 2940%
- 12:07increase inflation. Inflation.
- 12:10This is not going away, guys. This is going to this potatoes,
- 12:15potatoes, $3 for three pounds, $4.50.
- 12:20OK, enough of that. I hopefully have provided you
- 12:23with ample proof that inflation has run out of control in this
- 12:28country. And they wonder, right?
- 12:30The Democrats. Not a political show.
- 12:35The Democrats wonder, why are people so depressed about the
- 12:38economy? Well, because, Joe, I'll tell
- 12:41you why. Because 98% of Americans have to
- 12:44buy stuff that's on that list. And if you didn't notice, Joe,
- 12:48most of it's been up by like 4050% in the last four years.
- 12:53So now you can say, oh, we got inflation under control.
- 12:56Yeah, after you destroyed us. You know, that's like you've
- 12:59been punching. You've been being here.
- 13:01Basement dweller, come on over to the basement.
- 13:04Right. I'm going to beat you in the
- 13:05face for four years. I would never do that.
- 13:08Not a violent person, but figuratively beat you in the
- 13:11face for four years and then say, well, I'm.
- 13:14I'm going to stop beating you so bad.
- 13:15Now it's under control. Sorry.
- 13:17My anger management needed to be addressed, but now it is.
- 13:22I'm just going to hit you once a day now.
- 13:23I mean, they're still taking your money.
- 13:27I'm sorry. In fact, I'm trying to control
- 13:29my stress and blood pressure. That's what the doctors are
- 13:32saying. They're still taking your money.
- 13:36Oh, wow. We got inflation down to 3.5%.
- 13:39It'll only take, you know, 10 years now till the dollar loses
- 13:43another 50% of its value. Yeah, right, right, right.
- 13:46OK, guys, don't forget we're going to have Patrick Holland
- 13:50and Daniel Diaz on here in just a few minutes.
- 13:54Well, actually about 15 minutes. That was the plan.
- 13:59Oh, let's talk. Is this real?
- 14:03Do you need to be scared? The FBI is talking about
- 14:07terrorism. Let's go.
- 14:08Oh, boy. I'm really not prepared today.
- 14:12This will just take a second, guys.
- 14:14Sorry. Here we go.
- 14:16Here we go, Cher. OK.
- 14:19And where was? I Here it is.
- 14:23Boom. Does that work?
- 14:25Let me go back here. All right?
- 14:28OK, boy, I'm moving you guys all over the place.
- 14:30Here we go. ABC News, ABC News right there.
- 14:36Foreign terrorists targeting the United States is increasingly
- 14:41concerning, says the FBI director.
- 14:44The warning comes as experts predict ISIS will try to carry
- 14:47out AUS attack. I'm not trying to be what's that
- 14:51word? I always forget the Tom Crier
- 14:53the. The sky is falling, but this is
- 14:55from ABC News. Foreign adversaries and
- 14:58terrorist groups are sharpening their aim at the United States,
- 15:01targeting cyber operations, security and mafia like tactics
- 15:07in an increasingly concerning, quote UN quote way, FBI Director
- 15:12Christopher Wray said in a speech on Tuesday.
- 15:15He was at the American Bar Association in Washington, DC,
- 15:20said the agency is working to prevent a coordinated attack
- 15:23from terrorist groups such as now.
- 15:25Now, here's two key things. Well, let's read a little bit.
- 15:28But there's two key things to to remember about this.
- 15:32I'm just going to say them. Now before I forget, number one,
- 15:36a lot of people are saying that because of the immigration
- 15:40crisis, right? I don't know, 200,000 people a
- 15:43month or 100, who knows? A lot of people every month are
- 15:47coming into our country illegally, and there's no way to
- 15:50be able to tell what the background is of these people.
- 15:54I'm sure most of them are wonderful, nice people that just
- 15:57want to make their life better. OK, I'm not going to go down
- 16:00that path. But without proper checks and
- 16:04balances, we don't know if some bad guys are getting through as
- 16:07well. So that's point Number one.
- 16:09Point #2, which really makes me mad, is that some people, some
- 16:14people are saying that they're making a big deal out of this
- 16:17potential for a terrorist attack.
- 16:19Because hold on, I want to make sure I get this right, that it
- 16:22could be politically motivated because there's funding
- 16:25legislation right now that's up for a vote and that maybe
- 16:30they're trying to scare people. And you know, if that's the
- 16:33case, I don't. I don't rule anything out.
- 16:36And again, I'm not saying that's the case.
- 16:38It's just another people. Hold on.
- 16:41I'm getting some text messages here from the people at OK.
- 16:47I don't know what this is anyway, from Pat Holland, who
- 16:50we're going to have on here in about 15 minutes and looks like
- 16:56there might be some type of breaking news that we can share.
- 16:59With you. OK, here.
- 17:01Let's just read this quote real quick.
- 17:03Foreign terrorists, including ISIS, Al Qaeda and their
- 17:06adherents, have renewed calls for attacks against Jewish
- 17:09communities here in the United States and across the West.
- 17:12In statements and propaganda, Propaganda.
- 17:15That's the FBI director says this quote, the foreign
- 17:18terrorist threat and the potential for a coordinated
- 17:22attack here in the homeland. Like the ISIS K attack we saw at
- 17:26the Russia concert hall. That was horrible.
- 17:28I don't know if you guys saw video footage of that whole
- 17:31horrible is now increasingly concerning.
- 17:34October 7th. And the conflicts that followed
- 17:37will feed a pipeline of radicalized and mobilization for
- 17:41years to come. Boy, enough of that.
- 17:43That is not happy Positive news now is it?
- 17:47Guys? Let's talk about silver and
- 17:49gold. OK, Silver, let's talk about
- 17:52you, you, you basement dwellers. You remember the Rocky, Balbo.
- 17:56Remember the Rocky movies? Rocky 1, Rocky Two.
- 17:59They made a bunch of them, right?
- 18:01Do you get the? Feeling silver and gold are
- 18:03behaving that way now. Let's go out and look.
- 18:05Let's go out and look real quickly.
- 18:07Let's get an update on the silver price.
- 18:09Let's go out to Pinbecs. Let's update and OK, down
- 18:14$12.00, this is a good thing. Silver down 14 cents guys, this
- 18:19is a good thing. If if you notice the silver
- 18:23price, the gold price over the last, I'd say three to four
- 18:28weeks in particular, it's like Rocky Balboa, right?
- 18:31It gets knocked down, knocked down and keeps coming back,
- 18:35keeps coming back. OK, I want to say thank you
- 18:39though. Right now to our sponsor,
- 18:42Pinbex. We're at their website.
- 18:43You can see it here pinbex.com If you find yourself in the
- 18:48market for silver, gold, platinum, group metals.
- 18:52I'll never ever ever tell you what you should do.
- 18:55Should's a bad word, but what I would say is you may benefit
- 18:59from considering taking a look at Pimbex and comparing them to
- 19:03what you see from other online bullion.
- 19:06Dealers, What I found, what I found my my honest truth
- 19:11experience with Pimbex was I could get the exact same
- 19:15products from Pimbex and I could get them at a much, much better
- 19:20price. Look, I'm Susie has certain
- 19:23words to describe the way I am, some of which I'm not allowed to
- 19:27repeat here in a live stream. But let's just say I'm frugal,
- 19:32resourceful. When I buy silver, I want to get
- 19:35the most silver for my money, but I want to make sure I'm
- 19:38getting a quality product from a company I can trust.
- 19:41And to me, Pendbex checks all those boxes.
- 19:45OK, I think that if you consider Pendbex, you'll discover what
- 19:49hundreds of basement dwellers have discovered, and that is
- 19:53they check all the boxes for you to see if I can get this right.
- 19:56Left hand Pinbex, they check all the boxes.
- 19:59Thank you Pinbex for sponsoring Ron's basement now, guys 500.
- 20:03People, what? Wow.
- 20:06Thank you for being here. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 20:08Subscribe to the channel and I won't beg you for that again.
- 20:11And thank you for super chats. Goes a long way to help support
- 20:14the family. CPI numbers.
- 20:16Short term noise. Can you say that?
- 20:19OK, well, we covered that. Oh, oh.
- 20:22Silver price. Sorry.
- 20:23Gold price. Silver price.
- 20:26Weebles wobble, but they won't fall down.
- 20:29Rocky Balboa, are you seeing it? We are.
- 20:32Are you able to accept the fact? OK, it's like you've been you've
- 20:37been abused and neglected. Hurt.
- 20:41Your feelings have been hurt. My feelings have been hurt.
- 20:44Over the last couple years, it's not been easy, right?
- 20:46It's not been easy being a silver and gold investor.
- 20:49But can we realize that things are changing?
- 20:55We started talking about it back in December.
- 20:57That's when I thought the tide shifted.
- 20:59The pendulum, you know, pendulum swings one way and just hit its
- 21:04apex and started coming back. I said that back in December.
- 21:08What? What?
- 21:08What evidence have we had that things have indeed changed?
- 21:14OK, Weebles wobble, but they won't fall down.
- 21:17That's like, I don't know if you remember that.
- 21:18Remember the Weeble toy? It was this little toy.
- 21:20You push it and it would stand back up.
- 21:22Rocky Balboa down on the mat. That's gold.
- 21:25That's silver, right? At the end.
- 21:28Always wins, always gets back up, finds its energy, finds its
- 21:32real strength. Silver and gold.
- 21:36Need I say God's money? Nature's money.
- 21:40However you want to look at it. Thousands of years.
- 21:44Universal acceptance. What's this whispering thing?
- 21:48There's some term for it. And now there's people all over
- 21:51YouTube. I didn't even know I was doing
- 21:53it, NPR or whatever, right? Silver and gold.
- 21:56God's money, I whisper to you. I don't know.
- 21:59It's kind of weird. Anyway, what's what?
- 22:02What's the What's are we stair stepping to new all time high?
- 22:06Well, we are in gold. What about silver?
- 22:09Is silver next? But what proof do we have?
- 22:11How about the CP lie the CPI numbers this morning?
- 22:15Yeah, you know, it's beat down gold and silver a little bit.
- 22:18They were due for a correction anyway, but nothing like we
- 22:20would have expected. What about the great employment
- 22:23numbers last week? Remember we had great.
- 22:25Oh my gosh, Bud and all mix. It's working.
- 22:27We employed 300,000 illegal immigrants and 50,000 full time
- 22:34jobs with benefits were lost. But it's great.
- 22:37It's working. Right now, gold and silver are
- 22:40calling BS on all the BS. They're waking up.
- 22:44OK, the dollar has been strong, strong.
- 22:48I bet the dollar's up now, right?
- 22:50That should be killing. You know, we've talked about
- 22:52that in nauseam. No lower odds of rate cuts after
- 22:57what we got this morning. We're hearing all the time, if
- 22:59you heard all the top analyst, what they're saying, they're
- 23:02saying, oh, now the June rate cuts off the table.
- 23:06Now possibly July's off the day. We already covered this.
- 23:10They're not going to cut. They can't cut rates.
- 23:12That would really light the fuse on inflation.
- 23:15But guess what? I got to get him out.
- 23:17It's a special double double feature.
- 23:20Jerome, he's in a box, right? Hi, Jerome.
- 23:23You're boxed in. This says recession and
- 23:27inflation. That's stagflation.
- 23:28But he's also on a box. Because you know what, Jerome.
- 23:32Hello, Jerome. Are you in there?
- 23:34Why are you hiding? We know why Jerome's hiding.
- 23:40Because old Jeremy, he can't raise rates 'cause that'll make
- 23:44the the whole world debt situation that we've already
- 23:47covered blow up, right? But he can't lower rates either,
- 23:52because that'll make inflation blow up.
- 23:55The bottom line, my fellow basement dwellers, and this is
- 23:59the good news, is that the dollar is going to go down in
- 24:04real value, OK? And that's going to be a big,
- 24:08big, big, massive underpin for the gold price and silver price.
- 24:15I've got breaking news. We got breaking news.
- 24:18We have Pat Holland and Daniel Diaz.
- 24:22I'm going to add them to the stage.
- 24:24Oh, I need to put my ears on. Hold on, guys.
- 24:26Remember, Missouri has two Federal Reserve banks, Not one,
- 24:31but two. The ultimate slap in the face
- 24:34for the Fed would be if Missouri is able to get this legal tender
- 24:40legislation. Let's see if I can add these
- 24:42guys. Hey, guys.
- 24:44Can you hear me? Yeah.
- 24:45Hey, how are you? Hey, welcome to the live stream
- 24:48guys. Absolutely.
- 24:50Thank you for having us. We're we're, by the way, we've
- 24:53we've commandeered Representative Bill Hardwick's
- 24:56office. Oh, cool.
- 24:57Yeah. So, yeah.
- 24:59So he was kind enough to allow us his office.
- 25:02A very busy day at the Capitol. Yeah, many, many hundreds of
- 25:05people here in the capital. Parking is atrocious right now.
- 25:09So there's a lot of activity up here right now.
- 25:11But of course, you know what we're working on, Ron.
- 25:14I know you're working on legal tender legislation.
- 25:17I got. I'm going to, I'm going to set
- 25:18you guys up because I was just telling everybody that Missouri,
- 25:22as far as I know, is the only state in the country that has.
- 25:252. Federal Reserve Banks.
- 25:27One in Saint Louis, one in Kansas City.
- 25:29And what a, I don't want to say slap in the face.
- 25:32But what a, what a slap in the face for the Fed if we're able
- 25:34to get legal tender legislation. Fantastic.
- 25:37Yeah, they they don't need to here anyway.
- 25:40You know, we can, we can get by with a quarter of a Federal
- 25:43Reserve Bank, I think. Right, exactly.
- 25:46So what's the big update, guys? What's, what's happening with
- 25:49Missouri? And then I want you to to talk
- 25:51to our viewers. About why it's such a big deal
- 25:55that we that we get this legal tender legislation passed not
- 25:58just in Missouri but in whatever state our viewers joining us
- 26:02from. Gotcha.
- 26:03OK. So this we're talking
- 26:05specifically about Missouri legal tender bill, although
- 26:07there's many bills around the country, we're talking about
- 26:10Missouri. We're here at the Capitol to
- 26:11work the bill and right now the bill, we have 3 paths for
- 26:16success with Missouri's bills. And now, if you remembered, Ron,
- 26:20at the beginning of the year, there were five legal tender
- 26:23bills that were actually two in the Senate, three in the House,
- 26:25right? Well, now we're a month left to
- 26:28the end of session and we still have 3 paths.
- 26:32So the first path, of course, is HB 1955, and that's
- 26:36Representative Hardwick's bill. OK, that one did get some
- 26:40changes done to it by O'Donnell and conference arms, not
- 26:43conference but in committee. And it has yet to go into a
- 26:47Rules Committee. And when it goes into a Rules
- 26:49Committee then you know, we can get it on to the calendar to get
- 26:52on the floor. OK.
- 26:54So that was, that's the status of that bill, 735.
- 26:58Now that's an SB, that's a Senate bill.
- 27:00So now we're switching houses from the Senate or from the
- 27:03House to the Senate. That bill is also still in play.
- 27:06It's on the formal calendar and it's second bill up on the
- 27:11formal calendar. Soon as we switch to the formal
- 27:13calendar in the Senate, we should be seeing some action on
- 27:15that as well on the floor. And that'll be exciting because
- 27:18watching Senator Eigel actually pitched gold and silver on the
- 27:22floor is a wonderful sight to see.
- 27:24He's very good at it, very good. And he's funny.
- 27:27Yeah, it's so it's a fun experience to see him on the
- 27:30floor with the silver and gold bill.
- 27:32So that one's in play. But there's a third one in play
- 27:35that wasn't even a bill that was actually submitted originally
- 27:38because SB-735 has been amended on to a bank bill, insurance
- 27:44bank bill, which is SB-835. So we have yet another path for
- 27:49success in the state of Missouri.
- 27:51For those of you who don't know, these are very, very important.
- 27:55You want as many paths as possible to get legislation
- 27:58through at the end of the year. If you only have one bill and
- 28:01one path, it's much much harder to navigate and you close off
- 28:05options. In fact, that strategy that
- 28:08Patrick instituted here in Missouri next year, the Citizens
- 28:12money, we're going to use that exact same strategy in the
- 28:15different states that we're going to be pushing the Sound
- 28:17Money Act because he's right. When you have one bill, it's
- 28:20easy to kill, it's easy to stop. But if you have 5 different
- 28:24versions of the bill, all slightly different, you have
- 28:27multiple paths and you have different sponsors.
- 28:29So that's a really smart strategy that Patrick came up
- 28:32with here in Missouri and it's really working out well.
- 28:35Wow. Yeah.
- 28:35So Pat Holland once again is a trailblazer attacking them on
- 28:39several fronts, right? Yep.
- 28:42That's right. Well, well question for you Pat
- 28:47and then I'll let you get back to your your your thought the
- 28:51why for our viewer why, why should a person in Missouri?
- 28:57But let's say. Illinois, California, New York,
- 29:00Other states that at some point in the future may have this type
- 29:03of legislation moving through their state legislative process.
- 29:08Why is it so important? Well, there's actually multiple
- 29:11reasons why it's important. But the very first thing for
- 29:14everyone to understand is, first of all, it's constitutional.
- 29:18So that's first and foremost, it's in the United States
- 29:21Constitution. We're supposed to be using
- 29:22silver and gold as money, so that's first and foremost.
- 29:26But the problem is inflation is a very serious problem that
- 29:30we're all facing right now. It's worse even than it was in
- 29:33the 70s. Oh.
- 29:34Yeah, that's Monopoly money. Yep.
- 29:36Right. No, no.
- 29:38Hold on, Daniel. All.
- 29:41Right, Keep. Oh, here it.
- 29:42Is hold on, hold on. I, I, I, I.
- 29:45You stand corrected, Daniel. This is Monopoly.
- 29:49Any more questions? Hang on if it's show and tell.
- 29:55If it's show and tell. I got something to show you here
- 29:57real quick before we continue. And this is and this.
- 30:01Is real money. Yeah.
- 30:04Yeah, go. Backs, go.
- 30:06Backs, yeah. Right.
- 30:08Yeah, and and and that's real money.
- 30:09Sorry. That's real money, too.
- 30:11Show and tell the. Monopoly paper that you showed
- 30:14us earlier, That's not real money, that's currency.
- 30:17Yeah, well, you know, let me, let me, let me back up.
- 30:20I like to use this example like the the, the difference between
- 30:24between this and this is almost negligible, right?
- 30:28That's correct. But the difference between these
- 30:30two and this 1925 peace dollar is, is massive.
- 30:38Right. That's right.
- 30:39This has a lot. More in common, right?
- 30:42It feels the same and this is vastly different.
- 30:46Sorry, I digress. Yep.
- 30:48But you're absolutely right. What what's the difference
- 30:50between those is that Monopoly money and dollars do not
- 30:55actually increase in purchasing power over time like gold and
- 30:59silver seem to right? Yeah, but it's because they're
- 31:01over printing the Monopoly money, right.
- 31:04So go to back to your question, It's constitutional to have gold
- 31:07and silver. We just talked about inflation.
- 31:10In fact, the Monopoly money is worth more because that dollar
- 31:14just represents an IOU debt. That's right.
- 31:16It's a -1. Dollar negative $1.00 because
- 31:19it's a IOU? Yep, while the Monopoly money is
- 31:21actually worth something. Right.
- 31:23Well, I'm going to hold on to my Monopoly money.
- 31:25Yeah, you might as well. I mean, actually what Daniel
- 31:28said is right. The positive end of that dollar
- 31:30is actually a bond. Yeah, that's what's worth
- 31:33something and that is that. Yep.
- 31:35And so at any rate, you're holding the negative end of the
- 31:38equation. The positive end of the equation
- 31:40is the bond that's actually held by the Federal Reserve.
- 31:44So. So they get the, they get the,
- 31:46the, the value out of dollars. We get the debt out of dollars.
- 31:52So yeah, nice little scam. So yes, we have inflation.
- 31:55The inflation's getting worse. We looked at CPI and inflation
- 31:59this morning. It's significantly worse than
- 32:01the government is telling us. We already knew that.
- 32:03But of course we have the threat of a digital dollar and there's
- 32:07nothing wrong with running gold and silver side by side with the
- 32:10dollar as a currency, transactional currency, money At
- 32:15the same time, there's nothing wrong with that.
- 32:17So it's it's the equivalent of having dollars in Bitcoin
- 32:21dollars or gold and silver, you know, dollars or in in some
- 32:26cases you go down to other, go to Canada, go to Mexico, they
- 32:29run the dollar along with their dollar or their peso.
- 32:32So it's common for many countries to have multiple
- 32:34currencies available for purchasing, and that's what
- 32:38we're trying to accomplish here in the United States.
- 32:41The main reason why inflation is really hurting people and guess
- 32:46what's going up in value during the inflationary period is gold
- 32:49and silver. So when you go to sleep at
- 32:52night, your dollars in the bank account lose value.
- 32:55But while you go to sleep at night, your gold and silver go
- 32:57up in value. So it's actually a deflationary
- 33:01currency to have gold and silver.
- 33:03It's deflationary picture that you can buy more stuff when you
- 33:08wake up the next morning with your gold and silver, or you can
- 33:11buy less stuff with your dollars when you wake up in the morning.
- 33:15I mean it literally is a very and we're trying to adjust the
- 33:19there we go that's a lot better. Thank you Let.
- 33:21Me put my phone back here. We're working with some high
- 33:24tech equipment over here. Well, and again, I want to thank
- 33:28you and remind our audience Patrick Holland and Daniel Diaz
- 33:32are joining us from Jefferson City, the Missouri State
- 33:35Capitol. You know, I want to interject
- 33:37something with what you just were saying, Patrick.
- 33:40It's interesting the Philadelphia Federal Reserve put
- 33:43out a report I believe it was early last week that their
- 33:47research analysts had done on the gold standard and the
- 33:51results of their report were were that they had found that
- 33:55gold is an gold. The gold standard is an
- 33:58excellent way to to make to have a money system where the units
- 34:03of of accounting actually maintain their value right
- 34:07maintain their purchasing path that.
- 34:10Came even made a They even made a recommendation that report
- 34:13that they try to have small regions within the country
- 34:17utilize the gold standard without the without the control
- 34:20of a central authority. They actually said that in the
- 34:23article. Wow.
- 34:24So my response on Twitter was, well, how about the states?
- 34:28Are those small regions? Well.
- 34:31And I and and I want that, that's a great point, Daniel and
- 34:34I want to circle. There's something that Patrick
- 34:36and I were talking last night on the phone.
- 34:39The other thing that you said in terms of this legislation why
- 34:42it's so important is that on a federal level in this country,
- 34:46the reality is it's never going to happen.
- 34:49That's correct federal level and we know on a worldwide basis
- 34:52right now it's happening right with the bricks.
- 34:55We could talk about that for hours but on a worldwide basis
- 34:58silver and gold have never lost their, their stature is the real
- 35:01form of money. But it's really I think re
- 35:04emerging all over the world right now it is on a the the on
- 35:09a federal level in the United States.
- 35:11Well no, no go right. I mean, there's some token
- 35:14legislation on a federal level that gets introduced, but it I
- 35:17think realistically, do you want to speak to that for for a few
- 35:20moments? We'll have Daniel take that one,
- 35:22Daniel. Yeah.
- 35:23You're talking about this? Well, a bit.
- 35:28Let's take it from Ron's here. OK, So what we're talking about
- 35:33specifically is, is the fact that eastern central banks are
- 35:37hoarding gold. They're not.
- 35:38Oh, right, right. The fact the entire world is
- 35:41looking at silver and gold right now, right?
- 35:42And it's not just a national issue or state issue.
- 35:45Oh, it's global. And also breaks is put out
- 35:47reports that they want to issue a digital gold backed currency.
- 35:53In fact Zimbabwe is the first country in the world to go back
- 35:56to a gold standard. Now it's not backed one to one.
- 35:59It's a pool of dollar, U.S. dollars and other foreign
- 36:02currencies and mostly gold. But the fact that Zimbabwe is is
- 36:08mining gold, purchasing gold for their for their own currency
- 36:12That China, Russia, India. Every single central bank is
- 36:16buying gold except for the United States.
- 36:18You know that. That's an indication that you
- 36:21know they're now, mind you, gold has always been used for
- 36:24international trade between the central banks.
- 36:28But we, I know for a fact that Russia is looking to issue their
- 36:32own gold backed currency as well and China's buying up gold like
- 36:36crazy, but they have their own CBDC.
- 36:38So I'm I've heard rumors that they were thinking about doing a
- 36:41gold currency. Well, that's not necessarily
- 36:42true now that they have their own CBDC, but I mean every
- 36:45single nation is hurting with inflation.
- 36:47Every single one, they're printing it into oblivion.
- 36:52So we're trying to pass sound money legislation throughout the
- 36:56country here. But isn't just a national issue,
- 36:59we're looking to help internationally as well and
- 37:02other countries that wanna bring sound money legislation.
- 37:04In fact, our organization is doing ATV show on that's going
- 37:09to air most likely Q4 this year on the Discovery channels or the
- 37:15Discovery Networks, the Science Channel.
- 37:17And it's it's going to be a global television show.
- 37:20We're going to go to Zimbabwe, Turkey and interview people who
- 37:23are suffering from inflation and modern monetary policy and then
- 37:27go to Zimbabwe because I really do think with Zimbabwe bringing
- 37:31this gold back currency, they're going to stabilize their
- 37:34economy. So, you know, if you want to see
- 37:38where the world's heading, just look at what the central banks
- 37:40are doing and they're buying. Gold and and and you bring up a
- 37:43great point it's it's not just the United it's the whole world
- 37:48is dealing with a massive debt load right $300 trillion.
- 37:54So this really is a worldwide thing and what we're seeing it
- 37:57makes sense. I love the way you described it
- 38:00is because the world is dealing with the kind of the after
- 38:04effects of a debt binge, A worldwide debt binge.
- 38:07And I think a lot of people would attribute that to the
- 38:10United States kind of fiscal and monetary policy.
- 38:15We could go into that for hours as well.
- 38:16But the whole world is dealing with this inflation and and debt
- 38:21issue. And what's the whole world doing
- 38:23while they're going to silver and gold?
- 38:25Right. In fact, you know Mr. Slammy,
- 38:29you know on the gold and silver side, they're buying hundreds of
- 38:34millions of dollars worth of shorts on gold and silver and
- 38:37they can't keep it down. It's the first time that Mister
- 38:41Slammy can't keep the the prices down because I think they're
- 38:44losing control. I think the currencies around
- 38:46the world are extremely weak. People are realizing that their
- 38:50Fiat currencies are going to collapse and they're buying up
- 38:53gold and silver along with the central banks with demand is
- 38:56extremely high. All right, I I don't think it's
- 38:58possible for them to suppress gold and silver anymore.
- 39:00I think your bears are going to be unfolded here shortly.
- 39:03Hey, hey. Actually, I'd love to say
- 39:05something here, Ron, but it's just between the two of us.
- 39:08OK. OK.
- 39:09Yeah, OK. It's just between us.
- 39:10All right. Us and the 609 people that are
- 39:13watching us. Right now.
- 39:14OK. All right.
- 39:15Yeah, understood. But what if what if money is
- 39:19moving out of the three quadrillion derivative market
- 39:22and starting to go into gold and silver?
- 39:25Hold on, I want to pull something up.
- 39:26I don't know if you can see this.
- 39:28Yep, I sure can. Extras Pyramid.
- 39:31And yeah, right up there we have derivatives.
- 39:35Yeah, very interesting concept, Pat.
- 39:39You said 3 quadrillion. What if just 1% of the
- 39:43derivatives market goes bad and? Would that be 30 trillion?
- 39:47That would be 30 trillion. Pat, that would that might raise
- 39:50the price of gold and silver just a tad.
- 39:52Yeah, well, let's let me, let me, let me get.
- 39:54Over here real quick. Remember, now it's just between
- 39:57us. I know.
- 39:57Just between us, here's a here's a tweet from Lawrence McDonald a
- 40:01few days ago where he points out that, darn it, I can't see that
- 40:06I I I can't. Oh no, Bear with me.
- 40:09Welcome to Ron's Basement, the home of There it Is.
- 40:11The entire silver market, maybe you can see it on your screen.
- 40:15I think the market cap is what 1.6 trillion that's correct.
- 40:19Yeah, that would be. So that would mean if 1% of that
- 40:21derivatives market were to were were to fall apart and that
- 40:26money went looking for a new home that would be like almost a
- 40:2820X just for the silver market. And that's just you know, a very
- 40:32simple example, but you know at current prices that would easily
- 40:37be $500 silver, but what if 2%, what if 5% of that derivatives
- 40:42market, you know, or the debt market or anything else that's
- 40:46piled up on that extras pyramid needs to?
- 40:49Yeah. Once again is between us.
- 40:51OK, right, right. But the fact of the matter is
- 40:55bond market has always been considered the safest place to
- 40:58put your money ever. Yeah.
- 41:00And money is leaving the bond market because it's not safe and
- 41:03it's not yielding anywhere near as much as inflation is taking
- 41:07away from the investors. They have to find a better place
- 41:10to put their money. Don't tell any.
- 41:13Yeah. And and and thank you for
- 41:15reminding me of that Pat, because I don't know it's
- 41:17probably been six to nine months ago.
- 41:19I don't have the research in front of me.
- 41:21Everybody talks about the stock market, the stock market, right.
- 41:25The bond market is like multiple, multiple times bigger
- 41:29than the stock market. But at that everybody talked,
- 41:32you know, CNBCI mean they meant, you know, I think the stock
- 41:34market gets like 90% of the focus and 10% goes to the bond
- 41:39market. But the bond market, that's a
- 41:41little secret that, right. Again, the bond market's, yeah,
- 41:44multiple. Times bigger and that is falling
- 41:47apart. Look.
- 41:47At I mean. Look at what's.
- 41:49Going on with that's great. You know, with the banks, with
- 41:52their all the treasuries they bought 3-4 years ago that are
- 41:56now worth $0.60 on the dollar, $0.70 on the dollar.
- 42:00So yeah, it is. They lied to them saying that
- 42:02they weren't going to drop interest or increase interest
- 42:04rates that fast, and they did. They lied to the banks and the
- 42:08Fed is causing these collapses. You know, this is a special
- 42:11event today because I'm bringing bringing him out for the third
- 42:14time, our old friend Jerome Powell, right?
- 42:17Oh man. He's got his, he has his.
- 42:19I don't know if you can see he has his Unicorn in there that he
- 42:21squeezes when he needs to create more paper Unicorn fart dust
- 42:26money, but he's really in a predicament too.
- 42:29And then we're going to get back to this Missouri legislation and
- 42:32if there's any call to action you guys have.
- 42:34But he's in a predicament because that you're right, this
- 42:37morning we got, oh, surprise, surprise, inflation's going up
- 42:41right. Well, you know, well, that means
- 42:44that that the Fed can't. It's going to be harder for them
- 42:46to lower rates because that would ignite inflation even
- 42:50more. So, OK, so he can't really lower
- 42:53rates, but can he raise rates to fight inflation?
- 42:56How can you raise rates where we know what's going on, right?
- 42:59There's so much debt, corporate debt, government debt, personal
- 43:03debt, that it can't accommodate higher rates, right?
- 43:07It's already. Solution Yeah.
- 43:08There's also another secret okay.
- 43:11Apparently we have to roll over a bunch of debt this year and
- 43:14they can't. Or to do it at the current
- 43:16interest rates without raising. Literally an additional $700
- 43:20billion per year to pay for interest above the interest
- 43:24we're already paying. Yeah, so don't tell anyone about
- 43:26that. Though, yeah, go ahead, Daniel.
- 43:30There is no solution. They if they drop interest rates
- 43:33rapidly just so they can refinance those loans, that's
- 43:35going to freak the market out. There'll be a collapse if they
- 43:38do nothing those, those $900 billion worth of commercial real
- 43:43estate loans that are coming due in the next month or two are
- 43:46going to forfeit and it's going to collapse the market.
- 43:48It's going to collapse the commercial markets which are
- 43:50going to go to the stock market which are then the the Fed's
- 43:53going to try to. Uh, oh, hold on guys.
- 43:58Well, we lost Daniel and Patrick there temporarily.
- 44:01The other thing that I'll throw in what we talked about this
- 44:05earlier is that from a, from a from the perspective of
- 44:11inflation, the Fed can't control the supply side up their back.
- 44:16Hey, guys. Uh oh, there you go.
- 44:21OK. Sorry, we we can you hear us?
- 44:23Yep, I can hear you. We cannot hear him.
- 44:26OK. Can you hear me?
- 44:27It's on your headphones. Hang on one second, man, We
- 44:32have. AI had a teacher, so do not
- 44:34disturb me. Oh, gotcha.
- 44:36Yeah. Do not disturb.
- 44:37Yeah, I thought. Well, they've had enough.
- 44:39Right, there's a boat. He doesn't know how to use the.
- 44:42OK, headsets off. So how do you go through
- 44:45speaker? How does he go through speaker?
- 44:47Let's see, Mike. Well, I probably need to talk
- 44:50at. Least I can hear.
- 44:52You fine? You guys are?
- 44:53Good phone microphone echo. That's, I don't know.
- 44:56I'm not sure. We might have to drop off and
- 44:58come back. Yeah, sorry buddy.
- 45:00We'll be right back. OK.
- 45:02They'll they'll be right back. You know what guys?
- 45:04In the interim, let's talk about this massive, massive news that
- 45:09is breaking about Costco and gold.
- 45:12OK, I want to run over real quickly to this article.
- 45:17This is crazy. I and I had no idea that it was
- 45:22at this level. Here we go, CNBC, Wait till you
- 45:26hear this. Costco.
- 45:29This. I misread this last night.
- 45:31Costco selling as much as 200 million in gold bars monthly.
- 45:38This is according to Wells Fargo estimates and we want to go down
- 45:44here. Gold has turned into money for
- 45:46Costco where the yellow metal sales begun last year.
- 45:49They just started this last year.
- 45:51So they they they sold last year in their 4th fiscal quarter $100
- 45:56million worth of gold bars. There's a gold rush, a gold
- 46:01mania almost going on with Costco customers.
- 46:04In fact, sales are so brisk that analysts at Wells Fargo expect
- 46:08revenue may quote, may now be running at 100 million to 200 a
- 46:13month, a rapid acceleration since Bullion hit the warehouse
- 46:17club in the summer of 2023. Hold on here, I'm going to make
- 46:22sure. Here we go.
- 46:24We're going to get back. Hey, guys.
- 46:26Hey, sorry about that. Yeah, I got a phone call and it
- 46:29kind of wrecked everything on my end.
- 46:30Sorry. About Yeah, no, I I deal with
- 46:32the same thing because I use my phone a lot.
- 46:34I completely understand. No worries.
- 46:37No worries. We were talking about inflation.
- 46:39The other thing I wanted to throw into about inflation that
- 46:43people don't talk about a lot is we we just assume that the Fed
- 46:47with their monetary policy can control inflation.
- 46:50There's this other component supply side where like you know
- 46:54the Fed can't control the price of oil, the Fed can't control,
- 46:58Especially now with the BRICS nations growing so much in
- 47:02power, we they just don't have as much their potency is waning
- 47:06the dollar. Isn't as strong as it used to
- 47:08be, and it's not as influential. And they're tired of the
- 47:10American government using the dollar as a weapon through
- 47:13sanctions. So they're dumping the dollar
- 47:16and joining the BRICS coalition using their own local currencies
- 47:21right now. And eventually they'll have
- 47:22their own currency backed by gold, whatever fraction that is.
- 47:26But it will be a pool of all the currencies within the BRICS
- 47:29nations, with gold as a foundation.
- 47:31Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's interesting.
- 47:33And I know there's different ideas being floated about that
- 47:36about like ways that they could maybe use their currencies and
- 47:41then at the end of the month even if there's like an
- 47:43imbalance but between Russia and China that they would settle
- 47:46that with this gold backed currency.
- 47:48But at the end of the day, I just think it's safe to say that
- 47:51like I think there's there's two, two big sweeping statements
- 47:56that I would make. And I think the first one's the
- 47:58most important that you know after talking to you guys like I
- 48:01feel better about silver and gold already.
- 48:03I already felt really, really good that at the end of the day
- 48:07the bottom line is the dollar. We can, you can talk about all
- 48:10these different symptoms and all these different things going on.
- 48:13But the the bottom line is the dollar is losing real value.
- 48:18I mean it already has right over the last 50 years.
- 48:20And as we look out into the next coming years, I think the
- 48:23prospects for the dollar are even much worse, much, much
- 48:28worse than they were over the last ten years or 20 years.
- 48:31So I think what you guys are doing in Missouri, Patrick with
- 48:36the Missouri Freedom Initiative and Daniel with Citizens for
- 48:39Sound Money, more on a state by statement on a more national
- 48:41basis is critical to help people everyday.
- 48:46People and that's what we're talking about, right.
- 48:47We're not talking about the 1% or the OR the point 1%.
- 48:52We're talking about what you're doing helping average people
- 48:56just just just just to be able to just to be able to for the
- 49:02work that they do today. To be able to maintain that
- 49:06value of for a year or five years in the future, right to
- 49:10not have it completely deteriorated by inflation.
- 49:16Yeah. You're absolutely right.
- 49:18You know, this is do or die time.
- 49:20Really. I meant the inflation's been
- 49:21here now for three years, right? Yeah.
- 49:24What have states done to protect their people?
- 49:26What has the the federal government done to protect their
- 49:29people? The federal government won't do
- 49:31anything. It's exciting to see when Thomas
- 49:33Massie comes out with a bill to back the dollar with gold.
- 49:36Yeah, it's cool. It's exciting.
- 49:37It's not going to go anywhere. Yeah, so the states have to do
- 49:41this, this. And by the way, it's their
- 49:43purview in Article one, Section 10 of the United States
- 49:46Constitution anyway. It's the purview of the states
- 49:48to protect their citizens. Yeah, I got a meeting at 12:00
- 49:52with Rod Jetten, which is speaker.
- 49:57Chief Chief of staff for the House Speaker.
- 49:59Yeah, he's Speaker Proctor, Chief of Staff.
- 50:01So I got to leave here in about four minutes.
- 50:03But but yeah, I it's it's very important with the legislation
- 50:08that Patrick is working on to push through Bill Eigel's bills.
- 50:11You know and and and it's you know the the, the, the tagline
- 50:15for our TV show is sound money movement, a foundation of
- 50:19freedom. Without sound money we don't
- 50:22have sound markets and without sound markets we don't have
- 50:24financial liberty. So by bringing gold and silver
- 50:27back to the state of Missouri, which they have the most
- 50:30comprehensive bill still alive in the country, we can point to
- 50:35Missouri as a leader in the sound money movement to push so
- 50:39that other states can emulate what they're doing.
- 50:42And when the collapse happens, which you know, I think that
- 50:45there's gonna be a major economic downturn within the
- 50:48next two months, either at the end of May or sometime in June,
- 50:52because that's when most of these commercial bills are going
- 50:55to be coming through. And what what can, like I was
- 50:58saying before we got cut off, what can the Fed do?
- 51:00I don't see any answer where it doesn't lead to an economic
- 51:03downturn. There is no.
- 51:05If they do, if they do quantitative easing again, it's
- 51:07just going to have a hyperinflationary event.
- 51:09If they leave the the, the interest rates the same, it's
- 51:12going to cause the loans to forfeit and the stock market to
- 51:15collapse. If they raise interest rates
- 51:18even worse, it's going to make the bond market even worse.
- 51:20There is no solution that Powell can do to solve this problem.
- 51:25There is going to be a collapse in my opinion, and it's going to
- 51:27happen sooner than later. And we need to try to get this
- 51:30bill passed so that when it does pass, we can go to all the
- 51:33governors of the states that we were trying to pass some money,
- 51:35act and say, look, this is the real reason we were trying to
- 51:38pass this bill. We didn't want to tell you the
- 51:39real reason because you know, they think we have 10 hats, but
- 51:42this is the real reason. Now look at what Missouri did.
- 51:44They're the only state that decided to protect their
- 51:46citizens. Do the exact same for our same
- 51:48thing for our state. Call special Ed Safe legislative
- 51:51session and let's get the Sound Money Act passed.
- 51:54And that's that's where we're at right now.
- 51:57And Ron, you asked earlier, are you kind of alluded to why is it
- 52:01important to pass this legislation?
- 52:03And really what it really comes down to is whether or not
- 52:06businesses are comfortable transacting in a gold and
- 52:08silver. And they're going to want a few
- 52:10things from their government. They're going to want to know
- 52:12number one is legal tender, but they'd also like to see, you
- 52:16know, the state government accepting gold and silver in the
- 52:19payment of taxes if offered by the taxpayer.
- 52:23That'll make them feel a lot more comfortable to start
- 52:25transacting in gold and silver. As soon as communities start
- 52:28doing that, they can start healing.
- 52:31So it once again using money that actually has value and
- 52:34that's what this is all about really.
- 52:36And go ahead. Well I was going to, I was going
- 52:38to mention Rob Keats. I know he's a friend of of both
- 52:41of yours as well. I talked with him about six
- 52:44weeks ago and and in the in the in the process you talked about
- 52:48healing Pat and that's what brought this thought up.
- 52:51When I was talking with Rob, I said, is it safe to say that,
- 52:54like the the greatest real periods of prosperity and growth
- 53:00and greatness occurred in the United States when we were on
- 53:04the gold and silver, we were on a bimetallic.
- 53:06He said absolutely. I guess he'd written a book.
- 53:08He said, I actually have a whole section in my book that outlines
- 53:11that, that this does facilitate some healing and for the people
- 53:15that need it most right now, right?
- 53:17Like middle Americans, average people like me and you, you
- 53:20know, the top 1%, they don't need any healing.
- 53:24They're doing just great, right? The statistics make that
- 53:28overwhelmingly obvious. That's right.
- 53:30So my hat's really off to what you what both both you and
- 53:33Daniel are doing. Absolutely.
- 53:36OK, Now, as far as the call to action goes, 'cause, I know
- 53:38Daniel's got to leave here in a matter of a minute.
- 53:40Yeah, let's, let's do it this way.
- 53:45For those of you who are in Missouri, go to senate.mo.gov
- 53:51and that's the Missouri Senate website, and find your senator.
- 53:55Call them up, ask them to vote yes.
- 53:59And also push for any legal tender legislation involving
- 54:03gold and silver they see, you know, But like I said, there's a
- 54:06lot, there's multiple varieties here.
- 54:07That's good. We have paths.
- 54:08We have options. We have choices.
- 54:10This is good. But I'll tell you what, if you
- 54:14don't live in Missouri, we certainly can't stop you from
- 54:16calling in. This might be Adopt A Senator
- 54:20Day. You know will be very powerful.
- 54:22As I'm walking into Plocker's office, phones are ringing.
- 54:25So no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, never mind.
- 54:28No, we can't do that at this time.
- 54:29Sorry. Yeah, at this, at this time, if
- 54:33we need, if we need phone calls to Plocker, we'll definitely let
- 54:37you know. But right now, it's not a good
- 54:38time for that. Never.
- 54:38Mind scratch that. Yep.
- 54:40So so is for those of you outside the Missouri boundaries
- 54:45and you want to participate in this great experiment we call
- 54:49liberty and freedom the state of Missouri and help us get gold
- 54:52and silver passed across the finish line.
- 54:53They rarely ask you know where you're calling from it's adopt A
- 54:57senator day in in the state of Missouri.
- 54:59So just pick your you just go through the pictures of
- 55:02senators, pick one you like, and just give them a call.
- 55:05It doesn't matter if they're a Democrat or Republican.
- 55:07Tell them how much you like the silver and gold bill, how much
- 55:09you need them to vote yes, and tell them why it's important to
- 55:11you. Always remember that's
- 55:13important. Just don't say please vote yes
- 55:16on this bill. Thank you very much.
- 55:17That's not enough. You have to give them a reason.
- 55:20Yeah. So.
- 55:22But those of you in Missouri, we need your help.
- 55:24I meant this is legislation like this does not go through easily.
- 55:28All right guys, I got to get going all.
- 55:30Right. See you, Daniel.
- 55:31Thank you all. Right.
- 55:32Thanks for your work. Yeah.
- 55:34Yeah. Thank you.
- 55:35OK. All right.
- 55:36I'll keep the, I'll keep the fires burning here.
- 55:40So that's that's the best Ave. right now for us because there's
- 55:44other things going on in the background that we're not we're
- 55:47not going to be discussing. But at any rate that's what we
- 55:51can do publicly. We can call the senators right
- 55:53now. Let's get them.
- 55:54Let me let. Me let me I want.
- 55:57I want to. Ask our viewers a question and
- 55:59that would be, you know, I can safely say that the 750 people
- 56:04that are alive with us right now, Pat, are either a silver
- 56:08enthusiast, a gold enthusiast, maybe even a platinum
- 56:11enthusiast. But you know why?
- 56:14If you, if you. Love these metals and I think
- 56:18are like them or believe in them as as like we've already talked
- 56:22about their ability to provide the stable store of value.
- 56:26Then I would think that by default they would be very
- 56:30excited and very supportive of this legislation and what's
- 56:35going on. Is that, is that safe to say?
- 56:37Pat, I would say so, Yeah. And and once again, we don't and
- 56:41we don't deal with platinum and and it's not because we don't
- 56:44like Platinum. So I won't let the Platinum fans
- 56:46out there. I like Platinum too.
- 56:47By the way, Platinum's not in the US Constitution.
- 56:50Gotcha. That's the reason why it's
- 56:52difficult to get into Cross with gold and silver on the same
- 56:55bill. So I have had people contact me
- 56:58before and say why isn't Missouri doing something with
- 57:00platinum? That's specifically why we don't
- 57:02have anything against it. But the Founding Fathers did not
- 57:05include platinum in the Constitution.
- 57:07Got it, got it. Understood.
- 57:09So what was the website that everyone can go to again?
- 57:12Ititssenate.mo.gov. OK.
- 57:17I'm going to write that down and I'll put that in a penned
- 57:20comment on this on this video Senate dot MO dot Gov, very
- 57:28interesting. And what about on a national
- 57:30basis, I know you're obviously with the Missouri Freedom
- 57:33initiative, MO free.org, if you guys want to learn more about
- 57:37Pat and his and his organization, but you've been
- 57:40spending some time with Daniel. Are you getting a feel for what
- 57:44could be going on? Any any commentary you can give
- 57:47us kind of on other states throughout the United States and
- 57:50and what's going on? And I know I'm asking you this
- 57:53off the cuff. You don't have prepared notes,
- 57:55but any general thoughts on what you're saying?
- 57:58The general thoughts are this, what Daniel said, you know,
- 58:01rings true. Actually, there's two really big
- 58:05games left in town as far as state legislation goes for
- 58:09silver and gold. As Tennessee and Missouri, we're
- 58:12still in, both states are still in play.
- 58:14Other states have got stuff done this year.
- 58:16So that's good. You know Wisconsin got rid of
- 58:19sales tax on silver and gold. That is like I said that you
- 58:23don't, you know, look at that and say oh that's nothing,
- 58:26that's huge, actually that's huge.
- 58:28If you got sales tax, you have got to get rid of it before you
- 58:30can get legal tender done. Anyway, Tennessee is going for
- 58:34legal tender status for gold and silver.
- 58:36They got the depository done last year if you remember Ron,
- 58:39now they're going for legal tender.
- 58:42So, but the deal is we're doing kind of a big enchilada bill in
- 58:47Missouri and that's because we have grassroots to support the
- 58:50bill. So I I would absolutely love you
- 58:53know basically for our bill to go through for that reason to
- 58:56show everyone you can do it as an enchilada bill or a la carte
- 59:00bill, you know all the aspects that you need for legal tender.
- 59:03Now if it gets through, it will become an example literally for
- 59:07the entire nation when we have much harder economic times
- 59:11coming, they can do special sessions with the governor and
- 59:15their general assemblies in their states.
- 59:17They can actually do that. And so they can, you know,
- 59:20implement new law very quickly. And if Missouri has a working
- 59:24model then basically becomes easier for those other states to
- 59:29apply the same model that we're doing here in Missouri that the
- 59:32bills, you know, the Senator Eichel kind of kick started this
- 59:35thing if you remember December 1st of 2022 when he pre filed
- 59:38and he's been right on top of that cement, you know his bills
- 59:42are top notch and they're recognized nationally as the
- 59:46strongest silver and gold bills in the country.
- 59:48Interesting. We've got a question from one of
- 59:50the viewers, Pat, maybe you can address this.
- 59:53Wouldn't it be beneficial to the government if they did receive
- 59:56gold or silver as payment for taxes?
- 59:59It absolutely would, because if they have a depository, that's
- 1:00:02an excellent question, by the way, to Leanne Leanne.
- 1:00:06Leanne Trevino, yes. Yep, because if you have a
- 1:00:09depository, you can now start. I don't want to use the word
- 1:00:12hoarding, but you can start replacing some of your reserves
- 1:00:17that you have, maybe for your state pension fund that are
- 1:00:19currently in bonds that are low yielding, 4.11% ten year
- 1:00:24treasuries or whatever. You can replace it with
- 1:00:27something that's that's literally going up significantly
- 1:00:31faster. Hold on, Pat.
- 1:00:32I need to interrupt you. I need to interrupt you.
- 1:00:34I got a secret for you. Those bonds and the pension
- 1:00:36fund, they're losing value. Sorry.
- 1:00:39Yeah. Yeah, OK.
- 1:00:41That's just between us, Ron. OK.
- 1:00:43But the fact of the matter is it's very true.
- 1:00:46And they're going to see the pension fund start to evaporate
- 1:00:50because they're paying out more than they're collecting an
- 1:00:52interest. The yields are low and they're
- 1:00:55not keeping up with inflation. Real inflation is probably
- 1:00:58somewhere between 15 and 20% right now.
- 1:01:00The federal government will tell you it's 4%.
- 1:01:04So, but you know we have a saying in the Missouri Freedom
- 1:01:06Initiative, the government lies by a factor of 5.
- 1:01:10So you could probably take it to the bank that it's real close to
- 1:01:1320% because they're saying 4%. I don't.
- 1:01:15I don't allow such speech on my channel path.
- 1:01:18Of course not, of course. Government lies by factors of
- 1:01:2215. Yeah, you're probably more
- 1:01:26accurate than I am on that for sure.
- 1:01:28So I I appreciate that answer to Leanne's question because yeah,
- 1:01:31it would be beneficial, right? Just like for you and me, it
- 1:01:34might be beneficial to consider and our viewer basement
- 1:01:38dwellers, I think it's safe to say like to hold silver and
- 1:01:40gold. So it could be beneficial.
- 1:01:42Let me pull this up real quick. I don't know if you'll be able
- 1:01:44to see it. I know you're on a phone, but
- 1:01:47this is a hold on here. How do I get rid of this?
- 1:01:54Oh shoot. Well, anyways, a list I showed
- 1:01:56earlier different items starting with and then we won't go
- 1:01:59through them all. But like orange juice price
- 1:02:02January 2023, dollars price today 4:30, up 40%.
- 1:02:08I mean you look at some of these numbers, milk up 50% in the last
- 1:02:12four years, chicken up 60%, eggs up 100%.
- 1:02:17So to say that inflation has not been a a a problem and something
- 1:02:23that's affecting you know, people all over the hold on, I
- 1:02:28think I figured out how to get rid of that.
- 1:02:30There we go. Thank you Leanne again for that
- 1:02:31question and the Super chat. It just demonstrates how
- 1:02:35important it is to to to have your, your wealth.
- 1:02:40You know, we're not giving financial advice, but for me, I
- 1:02:43feel comfortable having a a a good chunk of my wealth invested
- 1:02:47in something that's proven itself over thousands of years
- 1:02:51is a good store of value. Sure, Ron, A great example.
- 1:02:54I mean, you've got a, you know, you're stacking silk, just a
- 1:02:57little bit of silver, maybe a little bit of gold, but you're
- 1:03:00not, you're not stacking bonds there in your basement, are you?
- 1:03:05No, no, no. I didn't think you were.
- 1:03:07And and you know, actually if you did, I would be surprised
- 1:03:11because you're smarter than that.
- 1:03:13Why would you be literally saving in something that is
- 1:03:17literally going down because the value of the dollar is going
- 1:03:20down? Why would you even do that?
- 1:03:22That's what states do. That's what states do with their
- 1:03:25reserves and their pension funds.
- 1:03:27Now I realize that, you know that that gets people upset when
- 1:03:29I talk about this stuff. And I don't know the exact rate
- 1:03:33of the pension fund in Missouri right now, but I did hear
- 1:03:35recently 4.11%, last year it was 2.4%.
- 1:03:40It it goes with the interest rates, of course.
- 1:03:42But the fact of the matter is it's that doesn't matter if it's
- 1:03:462.4 or 4.11, it's not keeping up with inflation.
- 1:03:51So the pension fund is actually shrinking, slowly shrinking,
- 1:03:56because they're paying out more than they're getting in on their
- 1:03:59dividends, on their yields. This is a problem for pension
- 1:04:03funds for states, but also not just pension funds, but
- 1:04:06sometimes in reserves. You pass a bill in a state for a
- 1:04:09project that's not even going to start for two years.
- 1:04:12So the money's been appropriated, it's sitting in
- 1:04:14reserves losing value and the cost of that project goes up in
- 1:04:18the two year period. You know if you had gold and
- 1:04:21silver in your in your in your treasury for reserves, you can
- 1:04:24actually mitigate some of this. You know, you can actually keep
- 1:04:28up with inflation, you know, keep up the buying power and if
- 1:04:30you know you're going to be holding on to it for two years,
- 1:04:33gold and silver are much better thing to hang on to the bonds
- 1:04:36because as Daniel said, we kind of run out of options here with
- 1:04:40the dollar. They're going to print.
- 1:04:41They're going to. Print.
- 1:04:42Yeah. They have no options, right.
- 1:04:44I mean, they monetize the debt basically, which.
- 1:04:47Is. Money printing, Fiat.
- 1:04:51You know, Frank, whatever. It's all it's all a bunch of
- 1:04:54funny money at the end of the day.
- 1:04:55So hey, Pat, I know you've got a lot to do there at the state
- 1:04:59Capitol. And on behalf of myself and our
- 1:05:03viewers, right, these basement dwellers all over the world,
- 1:05:06everybody, please give this a thumbs up for for our friend Pat
- 1:05:09Holland from the Missouri Freedom Initiative.
- 1:05:12You're doing great work not just for the citizens of Missouri,
- 1:05:16but for people all throughout the country.
- 1:05:18And thank you for joining us today.
- 1:05:21You bet. Thank you.
- 1:05:22I want to say the basement dwellers, I absolutely love you
- 1:05:24guys. Keep up the good work.
- 1:05:26The state legislation is very important.
- 1:05:30You know, Tennessee also has stuff going on.
- 1:05:32So if you're in Tennessee, look up what I can't at this right
- 1:05:35time right now. I can't look it up.
- 1:05:37You do have a bill that's alive and well right now.
- 1:05:39Work on your bill in Tennessee. And I do believe it's legal
- 1:05:42tender. You need that.
- 1:05:44So Tennesseans work on your bill.
- 1:05:46Missourians, we need to work on our bill.
- 1:05:49And if you're anywhere else in the country where your bill is
- 1:05:51dead or you didn't have one to begin with, like I said, today's
- 1:05:55adopt A Senator day. Yeah.
- 1:05:58Yeah. OK.
- 1:05:59Thank you, Pat. We'll look forward as always.
- 1:06:01It's a big pleasure for us. Big treat to have you in the
- 1:06:04basement. So we'll, we'll be looking
- 1:06:07forward to seeing you soon. OK.
- 1:06:08Appreciate you, buddy. God bless you.
- 1:06:10God bless the basement dwellers. Thanks, Pat.
- 1:06:12Take care, man.
