**ALERT** This USHERS Profound SILVER and GOLD Price RISE! · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:06
Hello basement dwellers. This is a big, big show today.
0:11
We got a lot to cover $500 silver.
0:14
Listen, there's just one itty bitty tiny part of the system
0:20
that needs to fall apart. I mean like 1% of this part of
0:24
the system and we could see easily $500 silver.
0:28
The number's actually closer to $600.00 silver.
0:31
But in the interest of being conservative like I always am
0:35
with my silver price estimates, I notched it down one bit to
0:39
$500 per oz. But we've also got big scary
0:43
news from ABC, the American Broadcasting Corporation.
0:48
I don't know what the C stands for.
0:50
None the less, terrorist warning, which is no laughing
0:53
matter here in the United States.
0:56
We'll take a look at that as well.
0:58
Also, new crazy. I mean, absolutely crazy gold
1:04
rush level news out of Costco. Actually news out of Wells Fargo
1:10
about what they're estimating. Costco may be selling in gold
1:14
bullion right now, but on top of it all, we have a special treat
1:19
today. A massive live update from the
1:22
State Capitol from our friend Patrick Holland from the
1:26
Missouri Freedom Initiative, and he'll be joined by Daniel Diaz
1:30
from Citizens for Sound Money. Why?
1:33
Come on, basement dwellers, Why? Why is it so important that we
1:37
get legal tender legislation to protect your right?
1:41
Yes, you right, silver and gold investor to use the metals as
1:46
legal tender. One good reason why you may want
1:50
to consider is that your founding fathers, who had great
1:53
sacrifice to themselves, wrote it into the Constitution.
1:58
It's a big deal. Why is Missouri a big deal?
2:01
You may be asking why, number one right, legal tender
2:04
legislation in Missouri. And it's not just Missouri.
2:07
It's sweeping the country, but Missouri.
2:10
It's the heartbeat of America. It's where Ron's basement
2:13
originates from, The silver and gold capital of the universe.
2:17
It's very important, but even more, even more so.
2:21
Have you thought about this? It's a little known fact.
2:24
So don't you know you heard it first here in the basement?
2:27
Did you know? Did you know that if Missouri
2:30
passes legal tender legislation, it will be the ultimate slap in
2:35
the face to our old friend? Let's get him out.
2:38
I'll be right back to our old friend.
2:42
Yeah, there he is. Jeremy Powell.
2:45
Gomer Pyle. Jerome Powell.
2:47
There he is, right. There's his Unicorn.
2:49
That's what he uses. He squeezes that to make more
2:51
paper Unicorn fart dust money. But why?
2:55
Why would that be? The ultimate slap in the face to
2:58
the Federal Reserve is right here in Missouri.
3:02
We passed legal tender legislation.
3:04
Well, let me tell you why. Because little known fact,
3:07
there's two. Not one.
3:09
Two Federal Reserve banks in Missouri?
3:11
Yes, there's one here in Saint Louis and one in Kansas City.
3:14
I think it's the only state with two Federal Reserve banks.
3:17
But I might be wrong. I didn't do any research on
3:19
that. But what a slap to the Fed.
3:22
Yes, Missouri, despite the fact that on the eastern border and
3:25
the western border you've got your Federal Reserve fortresses
3:29
built right, Missouri stood up for their citizens rights to use
3:33
gold and silver as legal tender. Let's talk about the CPI
3:36
numbers. Let's talk about gold and
3:38
silver. Let's talk about what's going on
3:41
in the markets today. I saw Jake from Jake's custom
3:43
parts earlier said silver and gold are holding up pretty well
3:47
in this street fight. I've got shocking news for you,
3:51
right, Gold? I was talking with Peter
3:53
Grandich just a few seconds ago. He said, you know, gold should
3:56
really be down 50 or $100. This morning we had shocking
4:01
high CPI numbers. I'm going to tell you why it's
4:04
noise. Forget about it.
4:06
Silver's going higher, gold is going higher.
4:09
Actually, what we've seen this morning is like Jake said, a
4:12
street bite. If you noticed.
4:14
I mean, have you noticed the short term noise is just not
4:19
getting to the metals prices? OK, OK, here.
4:23
Soon I wrote this out for you. Soon the market will realize
4:26
that the Fed can't do much more to fight inflation.
4:31
Guys, we've talked about this for weeks.
4:33
Inflation is going up and up and up.
4:37
Rates are already high. Everybody's sitting around
4:40
clamoring, When's the Fed going to lower rates?
4:42
When's the Fed going to lower rates, right?
4:44
Especially the general stock market.
4:46
It's price to perfection. OK, Gold and silver are
4:49
laughing. Gold and silver, I'm telling you
4:51
no. That the Fed.
4:52
'S never going to raise rates because they can't think about
4:56
this or lower rates. I'm sorry, they're not going to
4:58
lower rates because that'll send inflation through the roof.
5:01
But they can't raise rates either.
5:03
To fight this wave of inflation coming at us, think about the
5:08
amount. We won't go look at the debt
5:10
clock. You can do that on your own.
5:13
Think about the amount of government debt we have in this
5:16
country. Then think about the amount of
5:18
corporate debt. These big corporations over the
5:21
last 10 years were borrowing money like no tomorrow, right?
5:25
They could borrow money for 1015 years at two or three percent,
5:29
buy back their stock, give themselves big bonuses.
5:32
Think of the government debt. Think of the corporate debt.
5:34
Think about the personal debt. Hopefully not you basement
5:38
dwellers, because we don't like that.
5:40
We hate that. But there's so much debt in the
5:43
world right now that it cannot accommodate, cannot accommodate
5:49
higher interest rates. So as inflation goes up and up
5:52
and up and I got news for you, the old wizard.
5:54
I don't. I'm tempted to get Jerome out
5:56
again with his box with the old Wizard of Oz, Gomer Pyle.
6:00
Jerome Powell, right? Right when he he doesn't have as
6:04
much control as he used to. He's still got a lot of sway,
6:08
don't get me wrong, right. But there's certain parts of
6:12
inflation. It just can't be addressed with
6:14
monetary policy. What a fancy word.
6:17
That's what the Fed's interest rate policy is referred to as
6:21
monetary policy. That's great.
6:24
It's not as potent anymore. And on top of that, OK, there's
6:30
this whole other component to inflation called supply side
6:34
inflation, like oil. You know, the the blood of the
6:39
world economy, right? We, we've talked about that
6:41
before. Oil is everything.
6:44
Jerome Powell can't control the price of oil.
6:47
Actually, this group of countries, huh?
6:49
Bricks. Have you heard of them?
6:51
Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Saudi
6:56
Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates and about
7:00
40 other countries that are requesting to join 31.
7:04
That was an exaggeration. Anyway, they are beginning to
7:08
control. The price of oil.
7:11
Joe Biden tried to, tried to control the price of oil.
7:14
Yeah. Did you know?
7:15
Didn't you know, like right before the last midterm
7:17
election, he drained our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to
7:22
keep oil prices low so that you would feel rich and you would
7:25
vote for Democrats. This is not a political show
7:28
that's just generally accepted what went on.
7:30
And if you look at the amount of oil in the Strategic Petroleum
7:33
Reserve, I think it's lower than like the 1980s.
7:36
So he can't drain it anymore because he never refilled it
7:39
after he drained it, right? He drained the Piggy Bank.
7:42
All right. the Fed can't control the price of oil. the Fed can't
7:46
control inflation as much as they had in the past.
7:49
And the Fed certainly isn't going to be able to do what Paul
7:53
Volcker did in the 1980s and raise interest rates through the
7:57
roof to control inflation. Because back then, there's one
8:01
little thing that's different when you compare back then to
8:03
right now. Back then, we did not have
8:05
anywhere near the amount of government, corporate or
8:10
personal debt, right? And it's not just us guys.
8:14
It's the entire world on top of it.
8:18
The entire world has, what, 300 trillion in debt?
8:21
They say. And I got news for you, the
8:24
entire world can't accommodate higher interest rates.
8:27
So when inflation continues like we saw this morning, and gold is
8:32
right there, silver, they're right there, right on the cusp.
8:35
They're there. They're clawing.
8:37
They're ready to recognize this. When the world more than just,
8:42
you know it, I know it, right? Our light bulb went off.
8:45
We're like the first light that went on in the in the cabin in
8:49
the morning. But when everybody else wakes up
8:51
and their lights come on and they realize that oh, you know
8:55
what? That those, those, that, that
8:58
that crazy man in Saint Louis and his basement was right.
9:02
The Fed can't control inflation and the Fed can't raise rates.
9:06
I need to do something with my dollars because they're losing
9:09
value, you know, I mean, it's. I know it's hard to believe,
9:12
'cause you guys got to get yourself one of these.
9:15
I'm serious. They're readily available.
9:16
They can print them at will. Paper dollars.
9:19
Oh, look at that thing. They are kind of pretty nowhere
9:22
near as pretty as silver. It's losing value.
9:25
Look, this is what it does There.
9:27
Watch. It goes.
9:29
Down in value. When they wake up, that's when
9:31
things get super, super interesting.
9:33
Oh, let's talk. About.
9:34
You want to see something shocking?
9:36
Oh shoot, I forgot to get ready for the.
9:38
Hold on a second. Bear with me.
9:40
Technical difficulties. Technical difficulties.
9:44
I'm going to show you something. This is worth waiting for.
9:47
Stunning when it comes to inflation.
9:50
OK, but I failed to prepare properly for this, so bear with
9:55
me. It's going to take about 30
9:56
seconds. In the meantime, I want you to
9:58
take a deep breath and smile. This is worth waiting for.
10:04
Do do do. Here we go.
10:06
Welcome to Ron's Basement, the home of technical problems.
10:11
OK, we're almost there. And bingo, select.
10:18
You're probably like me. You know, you get older.
10:20
Doing all this stuff gets a little more challenging.
10:22
All this technology, this is going to blow you away.
10:25
This is this. Come on.
10:29
Here we go. Sorry, guys.
10:31
Hold on here. Hold on.
10:33
Let's get there. Let's get there.
10:35
Come on, Ronnie. You can do it.
10:36
All right. I'm just going to put this on
10:37
the stage. There you go.
10:39
Hold on, you. Don't want to look at me.
10:41
You want to look at this. That's not it.
10:44
That's not it. Oh my gosh.
10:46
If this isn't in here, I'm going to be so embarrassed.
10:49
That's not there. It is.
10:50
OK, guys, this is crazy. Look at this chart.
10:53
OK, look on the left. Orange juice, coffee, white
10:57
bread. The list goes on and on the next
10:59
column. January of 2020, that was the
11:02
price. Look at orange juice, $3.
11:05
OK, for 128 fluid ounces. Look at January 2020, Four
11:10
$4.29. Price increase 40%.
11:14
We'll we'll. And I want to say thank you to
11:16
my my old college roommate Sean, who sent this to me.
11:21
He's been providing me with some great information.
11:23
Super smart guy. So thank you, Sean.
11:25
Let's go look at ground beef. How's it done?
11:28
Oh, it went from $5 a pound to seven dollars a pound, a 40%
11:32
increase. This is inflation.
11:35
OK, look at chicken breast, $5 to $8, eggs $1.50 to $3.00.
11:42
I mean, they're trying to tell you that that inflation's under
11:45
control, that inflation. They're saying, Oh yeah,
11:48
Inflation's 3.5% right now on. Well, yeah, but let's look back
11:53
four years and let's look at like, this is stuff that we eat.
11:58
Look at Cheerios 3, Cheerios. Why don't they have Captain
12:01
Crunch on there? I like peanut butter.
12:03
Captain Crunch. Anyway, $3 to four, 2940%
12:07
increase inflation. Inflation.
12:10
This is not going away, guys. This is going to this potatoes,
12:15
potatoes, $3 for three pounds, $4.50.
12:20
OK, enough of that. I hopefully have provided you
12:23
with ample proof that inflation has run out of control in this
12:28
country. And they wonder, right?
12:30
The Democrats. Not a political show.
12:35
The Democrats wonder, why are people so depressed about the
12:38
economy? Well, because, Joe, I'll tell
12:41
you why. Because 98% of Americans have to
12:44
buy stuff that's on that list. And if you didn't notice, Joe,
12:48
most of it's been up by like 4050% in the last four years.
12:53
So now you can say, oh, we got inflation under control.
12:56
Yeah, after you destroyed us. You know, that's like you've
12:59
been punching. You've been being here.
13:01
Basement dweller, come on over to the basement.
13:04
Right. I'm going to beat you in the
13:05
face for four years. I would never do that.
13:08
Not a violent person, but figuratively beat you in the
13:11
face for four years and then say, well, I'm.
13:14
I'm going to stop beating you so bad.
13:15
Now it's under control. Sorry.
13:17
My anger management needed to be addressed, but now it is.
13:22
I'm just going to hit you once a day now.
13:23
I mean, they're still taking your money.
13:27
I'm sorry. In fact, I'm trying to control
13:29
my stress and blood pressure. That's what the doctors are
13:32
saying. They're still taking your money.
13:36
Oh, wow. We got inflation down to 3.5%.
13:39
It'll only take, you know, 10 years now till the dollar loses
13:43
another 50% of its value. Yeah, right, right, right.
13:46
OK, guys, don't forget we're going to have Patrick Holland
13:50
and Daniel Diaz on here in just a few minutes.
13:54
Well, actually about 15 minutes. That was the plan.
13:59
Oh, let's talk. Is this real?
14:03
Do you need to be scared? The FBI is talking about
14:07
terrorism. Let's go.
14:08
Oh, boy. I'm really not prepared today.
14:12
This will just take a second, guys.
14:14
Sorry. Here we go.
14:16
Here we go, Cher. OK.
14:19
And where was? I Here it is.
14:23
Boom. Does that work?
14:25
Let me go back here. All right?
14:28
OK, boy, I'm moving you guys all over the place.
14:30
Here we go. ABC News, ABC News right there.
14:36
Foreign terrorists targeting the United States is increasingly
14:41
concerning, says the FBI director.
14:44
The warning comes as experts predict ISIS will try to carry
14:47
out AUS attack. I'm not trying to be what's that
14:51
word? I always forget the Tom Crier
14:53
the. The sky is falling, but this is
14:55
from ABC News. Foreign adversaries and
14:58
terrorist groups are sharpening their aim at the United States,
15:01
targeting cyber operations, security and mafia like tactics
15:07
in an increasingly concerning, quote UN quote way, FBI Director
15:12
Christopher Wray said in a speech on Tuesday.
15:15
He was at the American Bar Association in Washington, DC,
15:20
said the agency is working to prevent a coordinated attack
15:23
from terrorist groups such as now.
15:25
Now, here's two key things. Well, let's read a little bit.
15:28
But there's two key things to to remember about this.
15:32
I'm just going to say them. Now before I forget, number one,
15:36
a lot of people are saying that because of the immigration
15:40
crisis, right? I don't know, 200,000 people a
15:43
month or 100, who knows? A lot of people every month are
15:47
coming into our country illegally, and there's no way to
15:50
be able to tell what the background is of these people.
15:54
I'm sure most of them are wonderful, nice people that just
15:57
want to make their life better. OK, I'm not going to go down
16:00
that path. But without proper checks and
16:04
balances, we don't know if some bad guys are getting through as
16:07
well. So that's point Number one.
16:09
Point #2, which really makes me mad, is that some people, some
16:14
people are saying that they're making a big deal out of this
16:17
potential for a terrorist attack.
16:19
Because hold on, I want to make sure I get this right, that it
16:22
could be politically motivated because there's funding
16:25
legislation right now that's up for a vote and that maybe
16:30
they're trying to scare people. And you know, if that's the
16:33
case, I don't. I don't rule anything out.
16:36
And again, I'm not saying that's the case.
16:38
It's just another people. Hold on.
16:41
I'm getting some text messages here from the people at OK.
16:47
I don't know what this is anyway, from Pat Holland, who
16:50
we're going to have on here in about 15 minutes and looks like
16:56
there might be some type of breaking news that we can share.
16:59
With you. OK, here.
17:01
Let's just read this quote real quick.
17:03
Foreign terrorists, including ISIS, Al Qaeda and their
17:06
adherents, have renewed calls for attacks against Jewish
17:09
communities here in the United States and across the West.
17:12
In statements and propaganda, Propaganda.
17:15
That's the FBI director says this quote, the foreign
17:18
terrorist threat and the potential for a coordinated
17:22
attack here in the homeland. Like the ISIS K attack we saw at
17:26
the Russia concert hall. That was horrible.
17:28
I don't know if you guys saw video footage of that whole
17:31
horrible is now increasingly concerning.
17:34
October 7th. And the conflicts that followed
17:37
will feed a pipeline of radicalized and mobilization for
17:41
years to come. Boy, enough of that.
17:43
That is not happy Positive news now is it?
17:47
Guys? Let's talk about silver and
17:49
gold. OK, Silver, let's talk about
17:52
you, you, you basement dwellers. You remember the Rocky, Balbo.
17:56
Remember the Rocky movies? Rocky 1, Rocky Two.
17:59
They made a bunch of them, right?
18:01
Do you get the? Feeling silver and gold are
18:03
behaving that way now. Let's go out and look.
18:05
Let's go out and look real quickly.
18:07
Let's get an update on the silver price.
18:09
Let's go out to Pinbecs. Let's update and OK, down
18:14
$12.00, this is a good thing. Silver down 14 cents guys, this
18:19
is a good thing. If if you notice the silver
18:23
price, the gold price over the last, I'd say three to four
18:28
weeks in particular, it's like Rocky Balboa, right?
18:31
It gets knocked down, knocked down and keeps coming back,
18:35
keeps coming back. OK, I want to say thank you
18:39
though. Right now to our sponsor,
18:42
Pinbex. We're at their website.
18:43
You can see it here pinbex.com If you find yourself in the
18:48
market for silver, gold, platinum, group metals.
18:52
I'll never ever ever tell you what you should do.
18:55
Should's a bad word, but what I would say is you may benefit
18:59
from considering taking a look at Pimbex and comparing them to
19:03
what you see from other online bullion.
19:06
Dealers, What I found, what I found my my honest truth
19:11
experience with Pimbex was I could get the exact same
19:15
products from Pimbex and I could get them at a much, much better
19:20
price. Look, I'm Susie has certain
19:23
words to describe the way I am, some of which I'm not allowed to
19:27
repeat here in a live stream. But let's just say I'm frugal,
19:32
resourceful. When I buy silver, I want to get
19:35
the most silver for my money, but I want to make sure I'm
19:38
getting a quality product from a company I can trust.
19:41
And to me, Pendbex checks all those boxes.
19:45
OK, I think that if you consider Pendbex, you'll discover what
19:49
hundreds of basement dwellers have discovered, and that is
19:53
they check all the boxes for you to see if I can get this right.
19:56
Left hand Pinbex, they check all the boxes.
19:59
Thank you Pinbex for sponsoring Ron's basement now, guys 500.
20:03
People, what? Wow.
20:06
Thank you for being here. Please give this a thumbs up.
20:08
Subscribe to the channel and I won't beg you for that again.
20:11
And thank you for super chats. Goes a long way to help support
20:14
the family. CPI numbers.
20:16
Short term noise. Can you say that?
20:19
OK, well, we covered that. Oh, oh.
20:22
Silver price. Sorry.
20:23
Gold price. Silver price.
20:26
Weebles wobble, but they won't fall down.
20:29
Rocky Balboa, are you seeing it? We are.
20:32
Are you able to accept the fact? OK, it's like you've been you've
20:37
been abused and neglected. Hurt.
20:41
Your feelings have been hurt. My feelings have been hurt.
20:44
Over the last couple years, it's not been easy, right?
20:46
It's not been easy being a silver and gold investor.
20:49
But can we realize that things are changing?
20:55
We started talking about it back in December.
20:57
That's when I thought the tide shifted.
20:59
The pendulum, you know, pendulum swings one way and just hit its
21:04
apex and started coming back. I said that back in December.
21:08
What? What?
21:08
What evidence have we had that things have indeed changed?
21:14
OK, Weebles wobble, but they won't fall down.
21:17
That's like, I don't know if you remember that.
21:18
Remember the Weeble toy? It was this little toy.
21:20
You push it and it would stand back up.
21:22
Rocky Balboa down on the mat. That's gold.
21:25
That's silver, right? At the end.
21:28
Always wins, always gets back up, finds its energy, finds its
21:32
real strength. Silver and gold.
21:36
Need I say God's money? Nature's money.
21:40
However you want to look at it. Thousands of years.
21:44
Universal acceptance. What's this whispering thing?
21:48
There's some term for it. And now there's people all over
21:51
YouTube. I didn't even know I was doing
21:53
it, NPR or whatever, right? Silver and gold.
21:56
God's money, I whisper to you. I don't know.
21:59
It's kind of weird. Anyway, what's what?
22:02
What's the What's are we stair stepping to new all time high?
22:06
Well, we are in gold. What about silver?
22:09
Is silver next? But what proof do we have?
22:11
How about the CP lie the CPI numbers this morning?
22:15
Yeah, you know, it's beat down gold and silver a little bit.
22:18
They were due for a correction anyway, but nothing like we
22:20
would have expected. What about the great employment
22:23
numbers last week? Remember we had great.
22:25
Oh my gosh, Bud and all mix. It's working.
22:27
We employed 300,000 illegal immigrants and 50,000 full time
22:34
jobs with benefits were lost. But it's great.
22:37
It's working. Right now, gold and silver are
22:40
calling BS on all the BS. They're waking up.
22:44
OK, the dollar has been strong, strong.
22:48
I bet the dollar's up now, right?
22:50
That should be killing. You know, we've talked about
22:52
that in nauseam. No lower odds of rate cuts after
22:57
what we got this morning. We're hearing all the time, if
22:59
you heard all the top analyst, what they're saying, they're
23:02
saying, oh, now the June rate cuts off the table.
23:06
Now possibly July's off the day. We already covered this.
23:10
They're not going to cut. They can't cut rates.
23:12
That would really light the fuse on inflation.
23:15
But guess what? I got to get him out.
23:17
It's a special double double feature.
23:20
Jerome, he's in a box, right? Hi, Jerome.
23:23
You're boxed in. This says recession and
23:27
inflation. That's stagflation.
23:28
But he's also on a box. Because you know what, Jerome.
23:32
Hello, Jerome. Are you in there?
23:34
Why are you hiding? We know why Jerome's hiding.
23:40
Because old Jeremy, he can't raise rates 'cause that'll make
23:44
the the whole world debt situation that we've already
23:47
covered blow up, right? But he can't lower rates either,
23:52
because that'll make inflation blow up.
23:55
The bottom line, my fellow basement dwellers, and this is
23:59
the good news, is that the dollar is going to go down in
24:04
real value, OK? And that's going to be a big,
24:08
big, big, massive underpin for the gold price and silver price.
24:15
I've got breaking news. We got breaking news.
24:18
We have Pat Holland and Daniel Diaz.
24:22
I'm going to add them to the stage.
24:24
Oh, I need to put my ears on. Hold on, guys.
24:26
Remember, Missouri has two Federal Reserve banks, Not one,
24:31
but two. The ultimate slap in the face
24:34
for the Fed would be if Missouri is able to get this legal tender
24:40
legislation. Let's see if I can add these
24:42
guys. Hey, guys.
24:44
Can you hear me? Yeah.
24:45
Hey, how are you? Hey, welcome to the live stream
24:48
guys. Absolutely.
24:50
Thank you for having us. We're we're, by the way, we've
24:53
we've commandeered Representative Bill Hardwick's
24:56
office. Oh, cool.
24:57
Yeah. So, yeah.
24:59
So he was kind enough to allow us his office.
25:02
A very busy day at the Capitol. Yeah, many, many hundreds of
25:05
people here in the capital. Parking is atrocious right now.
25:09
So there's a lot of activity up here right now.
25:11
But of course, you know what we're working on, Ron.
25:14
I know you're working on legal tender legislation.
25:17
I got. I'm going to, I'm going to set
25:18
you guys up because I was just telling everybody that Missouri,
25:22
as far as I know, is the only state in the country that has.
25:25
2. Federal Reserve Banks.
25:27
One in Saint Louis, one in Kansas City.
25:29
And what a, I don't want to say slap in the face.
25:32
But what a, what a slap in the face for the Fed if we're able
25:34
to get legal tender legislation. Fantastic.
25:37
Yeah, they they don't need to here anyway.
25:40
You know, we can, we can get by with a quarter of a Federal
25:43
Reserve Bank, I think. Right, exactly.
25:46
So what's the big update, guys? What's, what's happening with
25:49
Missouri? And then I want you to to talk
25:51
to our viewers. About why it's such a big deal
25:55
that we that we get this legal tender legislation passed not
25:58
just in Missouri but in whatever state our viewers joining us
26:02
from. Gotcha.
26:03
OK. So this we're talking
26:05
specifically about Missouri legal tender bill, although
26:07
there's many bills around the country, we're talking about
26:10
Missouri. We're here at the Capitol to
26:11
work the bill and right now the bill, we have 3 paths for
26:16
success with Missouri's bills. And now, if you remembered, Ron,
26:20
at the beginning of the year, there were five legal tender
26:23
bills that were actually two in the Senate, three in the House,
26:25
right? Well, now we're a month left to
26:28
the end of session and we still have 3 paths.
26:32
So the first path, of course, is HB 1955, and that's
26:36
Representative Hardwick's bill. OK, that one did get some
26:40
changes done to it by O'Donnell and conference arms, not
26:43
conference but in committee. And it has yet to go into a
26:47
Rules Committee. And when it goes into a Rules
26:49
Committee then you know, we can get it on to the calendar to get
26:52
on the floor. OK.
26:54
So that was, that's the status of that bill, 735.
26:58
Now that's an SB, that's a Senate bill.
27:00
So now we're switching houses from the Senate or from the
27:03
House to the Senate. That bill is also still in play.
27:06
It's on the formal calendar and it's second bill up on the
27:11
formal calendar. Soon as we switch to the formal
27:13
calendar in the Senate, we should be seeing some action on
27:15
that as well on the floor. And that'll be exciting because
27:18
watching Senator Eigel actually pitched gold and silver on the
27:22
floor is a wonderful sight to see.
27:24
He's very good at it, very good. And he's funny.
27:27
Yeah, it's so it's a fun experience to see him on the
27:30
floor with the silver and gold bill.
27:32
So that one's in play. But there's a third one in play
27:35
that wasn't even a bill that was actually submitted originally
27:38
because SB-735 has been amended on to a bank bill, insurance
27:44
bank bill, which is SB-835. So we have yet another path for
27:49
success in the state of Missouri.
27:51
For those of you who don't know, these are very, very important.
27:55
You want as many paths as possible to get legislation
27:58
through at the end of the year. If you only have one bill and
28:01
one path, it's much much harder to navigate and you close off
28:05
options. In fact, that strategy that
28:08
Patrick instituted here in Missouri next year, the Citizens
28:12
money, we're going to use that exact same strategy in the
28:15
different states that we're going to be pushing the Sound
28:17
Money Act because he's right. When you have one bill, it's
28:20
easy to kill, it's easy to stop. But if you have 5 different
28:24
versions of the bill, all slightly different, you have
28:27
multiple paths and you have different sponsors.
28:29
So that's a really smart strategy that Patrick came up
28:32
with here in Missouri and it's really working out well.
28:35
Wow. Yeah.
28:35
So Pat Holland once again is a trailblazer attacking them on
28:39
several fronts, right? Yep.
28:42
That's right. Well, well question for you Pat
28:47
and then I'll let you get back to your your your thought the
28:51
why for our viewer why, why should a person in Missouri?
28:57
But let's say. Illinois, California, New York,
29:00
Other states that at some point in the future may have this type
29:03
of legislation moving through their state legislative process.
29:08
Why is it so important? Well, there's actually multiple
29:11
reasons why it's important. But the very first thing for
29:14
everyone to understand is, first of all, it's constitutional.
29:18
So that's first and foremost, it's in the United States
29:21
Constitution. We're supposed to be using
29:22
silver and gold as money, so that's first and foremost.
29:26
But the problem is inflation is a very serious problem that
29:30
we're all facing right now. It's worse even than it was in
29:33
the 70s. Oh.
29:34
Yeah, that's Monopoly money. Yep.
29:36
Right. No, no.
29:38
Hold on, Daniel. All.
29:41
Right, Keep. Oh, here it.
29:42
Is hold on, hold on. I, I, I, I.
29:45
You stand corrected, Daniel. This is Monopoly.
29:49
Any more questions? Hang on if it's show and tell.
29:55
If it's show and tell. I got something to show you here
29:57
real quick before we continue. And this is and this.
30:01
Is real money. Yeah.
30:04
Yeah, go. Backs, go.
30:06
Backs, yeah. Right.
30:08
Yeah, and and and that's real money.
30:09
Sorry. That's real money, too.
30:11
Show and tell the. Monopoly paper that you showed
30:14
us earlier, That's not real money, that's currency.
30:17
Yeah, well, you know, let me, let me, let me back up.
30:20
I like to use this example like the the, the difference between
30:24
between this and this is almost negligible, right?
30:28
That's correct. But the difference between these
30:30
two and this 1925 peace dollar is, is massive.
30:38
Right. That's right.
30:39
This has a lot. More in common, right?
30:42
It feels the same and this is vastly different.
30:46
Sorry, I digress. Yep.
30:48
But you're absolutely right. What what's the difference
30:50
between those is that Monopoly money and dollars do not
30:55
actually increase in purchasing power over time like gold and
30:59
silver seem to right? Yeah, but it's because they're
31:01
over printing the Monopoly money, right.
31:04
So go to back to your question, It's constitutional to have gold
31:07
and silver. We just talked about inflation.
31:10
In fact, the Monopoly money is worth more because that dollar
31:14
just represents an IOU debt. That's right.
31:16
It's a -1. Dollar negative $1.00 because
31:19
it's a IOU? Yep, while the Monopoly money is
31:21
actually worth something. Right.
31:23
Well, I'm going to hold on to my Monopoly money.
31:25
Yeah, you might as well. I mean, actually what Daniel
31:28
said is right. The positive end of that dollar
31:30
is actually a bond. Yeah, that's what's worth
31:33
something and that is that. Yep.
31:35
And so at any rate, you're holding the negative end of the
31:38
equation. The positive end of the equation
31:40
is the bond that's actually held by the Federal Reserve.
31:44
So. So they get the, they get the,
31:46
the, the value out of dollars. We get the debt out of dollars.
31:52
So yeah, nice little scam. So yes, we have inflation.
31:55
The inflation's getting worse. We looked at CPI and inflation
31:59
this morning. It's significantly worse than
32:01
the government is telling us. We already knew that.
32:03
But of course we have the threat of a digital dollar and there's
32:07
nothing wrong with running gold and silver side by side with the
32:10
dollar as a currency, transactional currency, money At
32:15
the same time, there's nothing wrong with that.
32:17
So it's it's the equivalent of having dollars in Bitcoin
32:21
dollars or gold and silver, you know, dollars or in in some
32:26
cases you go down to other, go to Canada, go to Mexico, they
32:29
run the dollar along with their dollar or their peso.
32:32
So it's common for many countries to have multiple
32:34
currencies available for purchasing, and that's what
32:38
we're trying to accomplish here in the United States.
32:41
The main reason why inflation is really hurting people and guess
32:46
what's going up in value during the inflationary period is gold
32:49
and silver. So when you go to sleep at
32:52
night, your dollars in the bank account lose value.
32:55
But while you go to sleep at night, your gold and silver go
32:57
up in value. So it's actually a deflationary
33:01
currency to have gold and silver.
33:03
It's deflationary picture that you can buy more stuff when you
33:08
wake up the next morning with your gold and silver, or you can
33:11
buy less stuff with your dollars when you wake up in the morning.
33:15
I mean it literally is a very and we're trying to adjust the
33:19
there we go that's a lot better. Thank you Let.
33:21
Me put my phone back here. We're working with some high
33:24
tech equipment over here. Well, and again, I want to thank
33:28
you and remind our audience Patrick Holland and Daniel Diaz
33:32
are joining us from Jefferson City, the Missouri State
33:35
Capitol. You know, I want to interject
33:37
something with what you just were saying, Patrick.
33:40
It's interesting the Philadelphia Federal Reserve put
33:43
out a report I believe it was early last week that their
33:47
research analysts had done on the gold standard and the
33:51
results of their report were were that they had found that
33:55
gold is an gold. The gold standard is an
33:58
excellent way to to make to have a money system where the units
34:03
of of accounting actually maintain their value right
34:07
maintain their purchasing path that.
34:10
Came even made a They even made a recommendation that report
34:13
that they try to have small regions within the country
34:17
utilize the gold standard without the without the control
34:20
of a central authority. They actually said that in the
34:23
article. Wow.
34:24
So my response on Twitter was, well, how about the states?
34:28
Are those small regions? Well.
34:31
And I and and I want that, that's a great point, Daniel and
34:34
I want to circle. There's something that Patrick
34:36
and I were talking last night on the phone.
34:39
The other thing that you said in terms of this legislation why
34:42
it's so important is that on a federal level in this country,
34:46
the reality is it's never going to happen.
34:49
That's correct federal level and we know on a worldwide basis
34:52
right now it's happening right with the bricks.
34:55
We could talk about that for hours but on a worldwide basis
34:58
silver and gold have never lost their, their stature is the real
35:01
form of money. But it's really I think re
35:04
emerging all over the world right now it is on a the the on
35:09
a federal level in the United States.
35:11
Well no, no go right. I mean, there's some token
35:14
legislation on a federal level that gets introduced, but it I
35:17
think realistically, do you want to speak to that for for a few
35:20
moments? We'll have Daniel take that one,
35:22
Daniel. Yeah.
35:23
You're talking about this? Well, a bit.
35:28
Let's take it from Ron's here. OK, So what we're talking about
35:33
specifically is, is the fact that eastern central banks are
35:37
hoarding gold. They're not.
35:38
Oh, right, right. The fact the entire world is
35:41
looking at silver and gold right now, right?
35:42
And it's not just a national issue or state issue.
35:45
Oh, it's global. And also breaks is put out
35:47
reports that they want to issue a digital gold backed currency.
35:53
In fact Zimbabwe is the first country in the world to go back
35:56
to a gold standard. Now it's not backed one to one.
35:59
It's a pool of dollar, U.S. dollars and other foreign
36:02
currencies and mostly gold. But the fact that Zimbabwe is is
36:08
mining gold, purchasing gold for their for their own currency
36:12
That China, Russia, India. Every single central bank is
36:16
buying gold except for the United States.
36:18
You know that. That's an indication that you
36:21
know they're now, mind you, gold has always been used for
36:24
international trade between the central banks.
36:28
But we, I know for a fact that Russia is looking to issue their
36:32
own gold backed currency as well and China's buying up gold like
36:36
crazy, but they have their own CBDC.
36:38
So I'm I've heard rumors that they were thinking about doing a
36:41
gold currency. Well, that's not necessarily
36:42
true now that they have their own CBDC, but I mean every
36:45
single nation is hurting with inflation.
36:47
Every single one, they're printing it into oblivion.
36:52
So we're trying to pass sound money legislation throughout the
36:56
country here. But isn't just a national issue,
36:59
we're looking to help internationally as well and
37:02
other countries that wanna bring sound money legislation.
37:04
In fact, our organization is doing ATV show on that's going
37:09
to air most likely Q4 this year on the Discovery channels or the
37:15
Discovery Networks, the Science Channel.
37:17
And it's it's going to be a global television show.
37:20
We're going to go to Zimbabwe, Turkey and interview people who
37:23
are suffering from inflation and modern monetary policy and then
37:27
go to Zimbabwe because I really do think with Zimbabwe bringing
37:31
this gold back currency, they're going to stabilize their
37:34
economy. So, you know, if you want to see
37:38
where the world's heading, just look at what the central banks
37:40
are doing and they're buying. Gold and and and you bring up a
37:43
great point it's it's not just the United it's the whole world
37:48
is dealing with a massive debt load right $300 trillion.
37:54
So this really is a worldwide thing and what we're seeing it
37:57
makes sense. I love the way you described it
38:00
is because the world is dealing with the kind of the after
38:04
effects of a debt binge, A worldwide debt binge.
38:07
And I think a lot of people would attribute that to the
38:10
United States kind of fiscal and monetary policy.
38:15
We could go into that for hours as well.
38:16
But the whole world is dealing with this inflation and and debt
38:21
issue. And what's the whole world doing
38:23
while they're going to silver and gold?
38:25
Right. In fact, you know Mr. Slammy,
38:29
you know on the gold and silver side, they're buying hundreds of
38:34
millions of dollars worth of shorts on gold and silver and
38:37
they can't keep it down. It's the first time that Mister
38:41
Slammy can't keep the the prices down because I think they're
38:44
losing control. I think the currencies around
38:46
the world are extremely weak. People are realizing that their
38:50
Fiat currencies are going to collapse and they're buying up
38:53
gold and silver along with the central banks with demand is
38:56
extremely high. All right, I I don't think it's
38:58
possible for them to suppress gold and silver anymore.
39:00
I think your bears are going to be unfolded here shortly.
39:03
Hey, hey. Actually, I'd love to say
39:05
something here, Ron, but it's just between the two of us.
39:08
OK. OK.
39:09
Yeah, OK. It's just between us.
39:10
All right. Us and the 609 people that are
39:13
watching us. Right now.
39:14
OK. All right.
39:15
Yeah, understood. But what if what if money is
39:19
moving out of the three quadrillion derivative market
39:22
and starting to go into gold and silver?
39:25
Hold on, I want to pull something up.
39:26
I don't know if you can see this.
39:28
Yep, I sure can. Extras Pyramid.
39:31
And yeah, right up there we have derivatives.
39:35
Yeah, very interesting concept, Pat.
39:39
You said 3 quadrillion. What if just 1% of the
39:43
derivatives market goes bad and? Would that be 30 trillion?
39:47
That would be 30 trillion. Pat, that would that might raise
39:50
the price of gold and silver just a tad.
39:52
Yeah, well, let's let me, let me, let me get.
39:54
Over here real quick. Remember, now it's just between
39:57
us. I know.
39:57
Just between us, here's a here's a tweet from Lawrence McDonald a
40:01
few days ago where he points out that, darn it, I can't see that
40:06
I I I can't. Oh no, Bear with me.
40:09
Welcome to Ron's Basement, the home of There it Is.
40:11
The entire silver market, maybe you can see it on your screen.
40:15
I think the market cap is what 1.6 trillion that's correct.
40:19
Yeah, that would be. So that would mean if 1% of that
40:21
derivatives market were to were were to fall apart and that
40:26
money went looking for a new home that would be like almost a
40:28
20X just for the silver market. And that's just you know, a very
40:32
simple example, but you know at current prices that would easily
40:37
be $500 silver, but what if 2%, what if 5% of that derivatives
40:42
market, you know, or the debt market or anything else that's
40:46
piled up on that extras pyramid needs to?
40:49
Yeah. Once again is between us.
40:51
OK, right, right. But the fact of the matter is
40:55
bond market has always been considered the safest place to
40:58
put your money ever. Yeah.
41:00
And money is leaving the bond market because it's not safe and
41:03
it's not yielding anywhere near as much as inflation is taking
41:07
away from the investors. They have to find a better place
41:10
to put their money. Don't tell any.
41:13
Yeah. And and and thank you for
41:15
reminding me of that Pat, because I don't know it's
41:17
probably been six to nine months ago.
41:19
I don't have the research in front of me.
41:21
Everybody talks about the stock market, the stock market, right.
41:25
The bond market is like multiple, multiple times bigger
41:29
than the stock market. But at that everybody talked,
41:32
you know, CNBCI mean they meant, you know, I think the stock
41:34
market gets like 90% of the focus and 10% goes to the bond
41:39
market. But the bond market, that's a
41:41
little secret that, right. Again, the bond market's, yeah,
41:44
multiple. Times bigger and that is falling
41:47
apart. Look.
41:47
At I mean. Look at what's.
41:49
Going on with that's great. You know, with the banks, with
41:52
their all the treasuries they bought 3-4 years ago that are
41:56
now worth $0.60 on the dollar, $0.70 on the dollar.
42:00
So yeah, it is. They lied to them saying that
42:02
they weren't going to drop interest or increase interest
42:04
rates that fast, and they did. They lied to the banks and the
42:08
Fed is causing these collapses. You know, this is a special
42:11
event today because I'm bringing bringing him out for the third
42:14
time, our old friend Jerome Powell, right?
42:17
Oh man. He's got his, he has his.
42:19
I don't know if you can see he has his Unicorn in there that he
42:21
squeezes when he needs to create more paper Unicorn fart dust
42:26
money, but he's really in a predicament too.
42:29
And then we're going to get back to this Missouri legislation and
42:32
if there's any call to action you guys have.
42:34
But he's in a predicament because that you're right, this
42:37
morning we got, oh, surprise, surprise, inflation's going up
42:41
right. Well, you know, well, that means
42:44
that that the Fed can't. It's going to be harder for them
42:46
to lower rates because that would ignite inflation even
42:50
more. So, OK, so he can't really lower
42:53
rates, but can he raise rates to fight inflation?
42:56
How can you raise rates where we know what's going on, right?
42:59
There's so much debt, corporate debt, government debt, personal
43:03
debt, that it can't accommodate higher rates, right?
43:07
It's already. Solution Yeah.
43:08
There's also another secret okay.
43:11
Apparently we have to roll over a bunch of debt this year and
43:14
they can't. Or to do it at the current
43:16
interest rates without raising. Literally an additional $700
43:20
billion per year to pay for interest above the interest
43:24
we're already paying. Yeah, so don't tell anyone about
43:26
that. Though, yeah, go ahead, Daniel.
43:30
There is no solution. They if they drop interest rates
43:33
rapidly just so they can refinance those loans, that's
43:35
going to freak the market out. There'll be a collapse if they
43:38
do nothing those, those $900 billion worth of commercial real
43:43
estate loans that are coming due in the next month or two are
43:46
going to forfeit and it's going to collapse the market.
43:48
It's going to collapse the commercial markets which are
43:50
going to go to the stock market which are then the the Fed's
43:53
going to try to. Uh, oh, hold on guys.
43:58
Well, we lost Daniel and Patrick there temporarily.
44:01
The other thing that I'll throw in what we talked about this
44:05
earlier is that from a, from a from the perspective of
44:11
inflation, the Fed can't control the supply side up their back.
44:16
Hey, guys. Uh oh, there you go.
44:21
OK. Sorry, we we can you hear us?
44:23
Yep, I can hear you. We cannot hear him.
44:26
OK. Can you hear me?
44:27
It's on your headphones. Hang on one second, man, We
44:32
have. AI had a teacher, so do not
44:34
disturb me. Oh, gotcha.
44:36
Yeah. Do not disturb.
44:37
Yeah, I thought. Well, they've had enough.
44:39
Right, there's a boat. He doesn't know how to use the.
44:42
OK, headsets off. So how do you go through
44:45
speaker? How does he go through speaker?
44:47
Let's see, Mike. Well, I probably need to talk
44:50
at. Least I can hear.
44:52
You fine? You guys are?
44:53
Good phone microphone echo. That's, I don't know.
44:56
I'm not sure. We might have to drop off and
44:58
come back. Yeah, sorry buddy.
45:00
We'll be right back. OK.
45:02
They'll they'll be right back. You know what guys?
45:04
In the interim, let's talk about this massive, massive news that
45:09
is breaking about Costco and gold.
45:12
OK, I want to run over real quickly to this article.
45:17
This is crazy. I and I had no idea that it was
45:22
at this level. Here we go, CNBC, Wait till you
45:26
hear this. Costco.
45:29
This. I misread this last night.
45:31
Costco selling as much as 200 million in gold bars monthly.
45:38
This is according to Wells Fargo estimates and we want to go down
45:44
here. Gold has turned into money for
45:46
Costco where the yellow metal sales begun last year.
45:49
They just started this last year.
45:51
So they they they sold last year in their 4th fiscal quarter $100
45:56
million worth of gold bars. There's a gold rush, a gold
46:01
mania almost going on with Costco customers.
46:04
In fact, sales are so brisk that analysts at Wells Fargo expect
46:08
revenue may quote, may now be running at 100 million to 200 a
46:13
month, a rapid acceleration since Bullion hit the warehouse
46:17
club in the summer of 2023. Hold on here, I'm going to make
46:22
sure. Here we go.
46:24
We're going to get back. Hey, guys.
46:26
Hey, sorry about that. Yeah, I got a phone call and it
46:29
kind of wrecked everything on my end.
46:30
Sorry. About Yeah, no, I I deal with
46:32
the same thing because I use my phone a lot.
46:34
I completely understand. No worries.
46:37
No worries. We were talking about inflation.
46:39
The other thing I wanted to throw into about inflation that
46:43
people don't talk about a lot is we we just assume that the Fed
46:47
with their monetary policy can control inflation.
46:50
There's this other component supply side where like you know
46:54
the Fed can't control the price of oil, the Fed can't control,
46:58
Especially now with the BRICS nations growing so much in
47:02
power, we they just don't have as much their potency is waning
47:06
the dollar. Isn't as strong as it used to
47:08
be, and it's not as influential. And they're tired of the
47:10
American government using the dollar as a weapon through
47:13
sanctions. So they're dumping the dollar
47:16
and joining the BRICS coalition using their own local currencies
47:21
right now. And eventually they'll have
47:22
their own currency backed by gold, whatever fraction that is.
47:26
But it will be a pool of all the currencies within the BRICS
47:29
nations, with gold as a foundation.
47:31
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's interesting.
47:33
And I know there's different ideas being floated about that
47:36
about like ways that they could maybe use their currencies and
47:41
then at the end of the month even if there's like an
47:43
imbalance but between Russia and China that they would settle
47:46
that with this gold backed currency.
47:48
But at the end of the day, I just think it's safe to say that
47:51
like I think there's there's two, two big sweeping statements
47:56
that I would make. And I think the first one's the
47:58
most important that you know after talking to you guys like I
48:01
feel better about silver and gold already.
48:03
I already felt really, really good that at the end of the day
48:07
the bottom line is the dollar. We can, you can talk about all
48:10
these different symptoms and all these different things going on.
48:13
But the the bottom line is the dollar is losing real value.
48:18
I mean it already has right over the last 50 years.
48:20
And as we look out into the next coming years, I think the
48:23
prospects for the dollar are even much worse, much, much
48:28
worse than they were over the last ten years or 20 years.
48:31
So I think what you guys are doing in Missouri, Patrick with
48:36
the Missouri Freedom Initiative and Daniel with Citizens for
48:39
Sound Money, more on a state by statement on a more national
48:41
basis is critical to help people everyday.
48:46
People and that's what we're talking about, right.
48:47
We're not talking about the 1% or the OR the point 1%.
48:52
We're talking about what you're doing helping average people
48:56
just just just just to be able to just to be able to for the
49:02
work that they do today. To be able to maintain that
49:06
value of for a year or five years in the future, right to
49:10
not have it completely deteriorated by inflation.
49:16
Yeah. You're absolutely right.
49:18
You know, this is do or die time.
49:20
Really. I meant the inflation's been
49:21
here now for three years, right? Yeah.
49:24
What have states done to protect their people?
49:26
What has the the federal government done to protect their
49:29
people? The federal government won't do
49:31
anything. It's exciting to see when Thomas
49:33
Massie comes out with a bill to back the dollar with gold.
49:36
Yeah, it's cool. It's exciting.
49:37
It's not going to go anywhere. Yeah, so the states have to do
49:41
this, this. And by the way, it's their
49:43
purview in Article one, Section 10 of the United States
49:46
Constitution anyway. It's the purview of the states
49:48
to protect their citizens. Yeah, I got a meeting at 12:00
49:52
with Rod Jetten, which is speaker.
49:57
Chief Chief of staff for the House Speaker.
49:59
Yeah, he's Speaker Proctor, Chief of Staff.
50:01
So I got to leave here in about four minutes.
50:03
But but yeah, I it's it's very important with the legislation
50:08
that Patrick is working on to push through Bill Eigel's bills.
50:11
You know and and and it's you know the the, the, the tagline
50:15
for our TV show is sound money movement, a foundation of
50:19
freedom. Without sound money we don't
50:22
have sound markets and without sound markets we don't have
50:24
financial liberty. So by bringing gold and silver
50:27
back to the state of Missouri, which they have the most
50:30
comprehensive bill still alive in the country, we can point to
50:35
Missouri as a leader in the sound money movement to push so
50:39
that other states can emulate what they're doing.
50:42
And when the collapse happens, which you know, I think that
50:45
there's gonna be a major economic downturn within the
50:48
next two months, either at the end of May or sometime in June,
50:52
because that's when most of these commercial bills are going
50:55
to be coming through. And what what can, like I was
50:58
saying before we got cut off, what can the Fed do?
51:00
I don't see any answer where it doesn't lead to an economic
51:03
downturn. There is no.
51:05
If they do, if they do quantitative easing again, it's
51:07
just going to have a hyperinflationary event.
51:09
If they leave the the, the interest rates the same, it's
51:12
going to cause the loans to forfeit and the stock market to
51:15
collapse. If they raise interest rates
51:18
even worse, it's going to make the bond market even worse.
51:20
There is no solution that Powell can do to solve this problem.
51:25
There is going to be a collapse in my opinion, and it's going to
51:27
happen sooner than later. And we need to try to get this
51:30
bill passed so that when it does pass, we can go to all the
51:33
governors of the states that we were trying to pass some money,
51:35
act and say, look, this is the real reason we were trying to
51:38
pass this bill. We didn't want to tell you the
51:39
real reason because you know, they think we have 10 hats, but
51:42
this is the real reason. Now look at what Missouri did.
51:44
They're the only state that decided to protect their
51:46
citizens. Do the exact same for our same
51:48
thing for our state. Call special Ed Safe legislative
51:51
session and let's get the Sound Money Act passed.
51:54
And that's that's where we're at right now.
51:57
And Ron, you asked earlier, are you kind of alluded to why is it
52:01
important to pass this legislation?
52:03
And really what it really comes down to is whether or not
52:06
businesses are comfortable transacting in a gold and
52:08
silver. And they're going to want a few
52:10
things from their government. They're going to want to know
52:12
number one is legal tender, but they'd also like to see, you
52:16
know, the state government accepting gold and silver in the
52:19
payment of taxes if offered by the taxpayer.
52:23
That'll make them feel a lot more comfortable to start
52:25
transacting in gold and silver. As soon as communities start
52:28
doing that, they can start healing.
52:31
So it once again using money that actually has value and
52:34
that's what this is all about really.
52:36
And go ahead. Well I was going to, I was going
52:38
to mention Rob Keats. I know he's a friend of of both
52:41
of yours as well. I talked with him about six
52:44
weeks ago and and in the in the in the process you talked about
52:48
healing Pat and that's what brought this thought up.
52:51
When I was talking with Rob, I said, is it safe to say that,
52:54
like the the greatest real periods of prosperity and growth
53:00
and greatness occurred in the United States when we were on
53:04
the gold and silver, we were on a bimetallic.
53:06
He said absolutely. I guess he'd written a book.
53:08
He said, I actually have a whole section in my book that outlines
53:11
that, that this does facilitate some healing and for the people
53:15
that need it most right now, right?
53:17
Like middle Americans, average people like me and you, you
53:20
know, the top 1%, they don't need any healing.
53:24
They're doing just great, right? The statistics make that
53:28
overwhelmingly obvious. That's right.
53:30
So my hat's really off to what you what both both you and
53:33
Daniel are doing. Absolutely.
53:36
OK, Now, as far as the call to action goes, 'cause, I know
53:38
Daniel's got to leave here in a matter of a minute.
53:40
Yeah, let's, let's do it this way.
53:45
For those of you who are in Missouri, go to senate.mo.gov
53:51
and that's the Missouri Senate website, and find your senator.
53:55
Call them up, ask them to vote yes.
53:59
And also push for any legal tender legislation involving
54:03
gold and silver they see, you know, But like I said, there's a
54:06
lot, there's multiple varieties here.
54:07
That's good. We have paths.
54:08
We have options. We have choices.
54:10
This is good. But I'll tell you what, if you
54:14
don't live in Missouri, we certainly can't stop you from
54:16
calling in. This might be Adopt A Senator
54:20
Day. You know will be very powerful.
54:22
As I'm walking into Plocker's office, phones are ringing.
54:25
So no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, never mind.
54:28
No, we can't do that at this time.
54:29
Sorry. Yeah, at this, at this time, if
54:33
we need, if we need phone calls to Plocker, we'll definitely let
54:37
you know. But right now, it's not a good
54:38
time for that. Never.
54:38
Mind scratch that. Yep.
54:40
So so is for those of you outside the Missouri boundaries
54:45
and you want to participate in this great experiment we call
54:49
liberty and freedom the state of Missouri and help us get gold
54:52
and silver passed across the finish line.
54:53
They rarely ask you know where you're calling from it's adopt A
54:57
senator day in in the state of Missouri.
54:59
So just pick your you just go through the pictures of
55:02
senators, pick one you like, and just give them a call.
55:05
It doesn't matter if they're a Democrat or Republican.
55:07
Tell them how much you like the silver and gold bill, how much
55:09
you need them to vote yes, and tell them why it's important to
55:11
you. Always remember that's
55:13
important. Just don't say please vote yes
55:16
on this bill. Thank you very much.
55:17
That's not enough. You have to give them a reason.
55:20
Yeah. So.
55:22
But those of you in Missouri, we need your help.
55:24
I meant this is legislation like this does not go through easily.
55:28
All right guys, I got to get going all.
55:30
Right. See you, Daniel.
55:31
Thank you all. Right.
55:32
Thanks for your work. Yeah.
55:34
Yeah. Thank you.
55:35
OK. All right.
55:36
I'll keep the, I'll keep the fires burning here.
55:40
So that's that's the best Ave. right now for us because there's
55:44
other things going on in the background that we're not we're
55:47
not going to be discussing. But at any rate that's what we
55:51
can do publicly. We can call the senators right
55:53
now. Let's get them.
55:54
Let me let. Me let me I want.
55:57
I want to. Ask our viewers a question and
55:59
that would be, you know, I can safely say that the 750 people
56:04
that are alive with us right now, Pat, are either a silver
56:08
enthusiast, a gold enthusiast, maybe even a platinum
56:11
enthusiast. But you know why?
56:14
If you, if you. Love these metals and I think
56:18
are like them or believe in them as as like we've already talked
56:22
about their ability to provide the stable store of value.
56:26
Then I would think that by default they would be very
56:30
excited and very supportive of this legislation and what's
56:35
going on. Is that, is that safe to say?
56:37
Pat, I would say so, Yeah. And and once again, we don't and
56:41
we don't deal with platinum and and it's not because we don't
56:44
like Platinum. So I won't let the Platinum fans
56:46
out there. I like Platinum too.
56:47
By the way, Platinum's not in the US Constitution.
56:50
Gotcha. That's the reason why it's
56:52
difficult to get into Cross with gold and silver on the same
56:55
bill. So I have had people contact me
56:58
before and say why isn't Missouri doing something with
57:00
platinum? That's specifically why we don't
57:02
have anything against it. But the Founding Fathers did not
57:05
include platinum in the Constitution.
57:07
Got it, got it. Understood.
57:09
So what was the website that everyone can go to again?
57:12
Ititssenate.mo.gov. OK.
57:17
I'm going to write that down and I'll put that in a penned
57:20
comment on this on this video Senate dot MO dot Gov, very
57:28
interesting. And what about on a national
57:30
basis, I know you're obviously with the Missouri Freedom
57:33
initiative, MO free.org, if you guys want to learn more about
57:37
Pat and his and his organization, but you've been
57:40
spending some time with Daniel. Are you getting a feel for what
57:44
could be going on? Any any commentary you can give
57:47
us kind of on other states throughout the United States and
57:50
and what's going on? And I know I'm asking you this
57:53
off the cuff. You don't have prepared notes,
57:55
but any general thoughts on what you're saying?
57:58
The general thoughts are this, what Daniel said, you know,
58:01
rings true. Actually, there's two really big
58:05
games left in town as far as state legislation goes for
58:09
silver and gold. As Tennessee and Missouri, we're
58:12
still in, both states are still in play.
58:14
Other states have got stuff done this year.
58:16
So that's good. You know Wisconsin got rid of
58:19
sales tax on silver and gold. That is like I said that you
58:23
don't, you know, look at that and say oh that's nothing,
58:26
that's huge, actually that's huge.
58:28
If you got sales tax, you have got to get rid of it before you
58:30
can get legal tender done. Anyway, Tennessee is going for
58:34
legal tender status for gold and silver.
58:36
They got the depository done last year if you remember Ron,
58:39
now they're going for legal tender.
58:42
So, but the deal is we're doing kind of a big enchilada bill in
58:47
Missouri and that's because we have grassroots to support the
58:50
bill. So I I would absolutely love you
58:53
know basically for our bill to go through for that reason to
58:56
show everyone you can do it as an enchilada bill or a la carte
59:00
bill, you know all the aspects that you need for legal tender.
59:03
Now if it gets through, it will become an example literally for
59:07
the entire nation when we have much harder economic times
59:11
coming, they can do special sessions with the governor and
59:15
their general assemblies in their states.
59:17
They can actually do that. And so they can, you know,
59:20
implement new law very quickly. And if Missouri has a working
59:24
model then basically becomes easier for those other states to
59:29
apply the same model that we're doing here in Missouri that the
59:32
bills, you know, the Senator Eichel kind of kick started this
59:35
thing if you remember December 1st of 2022 when he pre filed
59:38
and he's been right on top of that cement, you know his bills
59:42
are top notch and they're recognized nationally as the
59:46
strongest silver and gold bills in the country.
59:48
Interesting. We've got a question from one of
59:50
the viewers, Pat, maybe you can address this.
59:53
Wouldn't it be beneficial to the government if they did receive
59:56
gold or silver as payment for taxes?
59:59
It absolutely would, because if they have a depository, that's
1:00:02
an excellent question, by the way, to Leanne Leanne.
1:00:06
Leanne Trevino, yes. Yep, because if you have a
1:00:09
depository, you can now start. I don't want to use the word
1:00:12
hoarding, but you can start replacing some of your reserves
1:00:17
that you have, maybe for your state pension fund that are
1:00:19
currently in bonds that are low yielding, 4.11% ten year
1:00:24
treasuries or whatever. You can replace it with
1:00:27
something that's that's literally going up significantly
1:00:31
faster. Hold on, Pat.
1:00:32
I need to interrupt you. I need to interrupt you.
1:00:34
I got a secret for you. Those bonds and the pension
1:00:36
fund, they're losing value. Sorry.
1:00:39
Yeah. Yeah, OK.
1:00:41
That's just between us, Ron. OK.
1:00:43
But the fact of the matter is it's very true.
1:00:46
And they're going to see the pension fund start to evaporate
1:00:50
because they're paying out more than they're collecting an
1:00:52
interest. The yields are low and they're
1:00:55
not keeping up with inflation. Real inflation is probably
1:00:58
somewhere between 15 and 20% right now.
1:01:00
The federal government will tell you it's 4%.
1:01:04
So, but you know we have a saying in the Missouri Freedom
1:01:06
Initiative, the government lies by a factor of 5.
1:01:10
So you could probably take it to the bank that it's real close to
1:01:13
20% because they're saying 4%. I don't.
1:01:15
I don't allow such speech on my channel path.
1:01:18
Of course not, of course. Government lies by factors of
1:01:22
15. Yeah, you're probably more
1:01:26
accurate than I am on that for sure.
1:01:28
So I I appreciate that answer to Leanne's question because yeah,
1:01:31
it would be beneficial, right? Just like for you and me, it
1:01:34
might be beneficial to consider and our viewer basement
1:01:38
dwellers, I think it's safe to say like to hold silver and
1:01:40
gold. So it could be beneficial.
1:01:42
Let me pull this up real quick. I don't know if you'll be able
1:01:44
to see it. I know you're on a phone, but
1:01:47
this is a hold on here. How do I get rid of this?
1:01:54
Oh shoot. Well, anyways, a list I showed
1:01:56
earlier different items starting with and then we won't go
1:01:59
through them all. But like orange juice price
1:02:02
January 2023, dollars price today 4:30, up 40%.
1:02:08
I mean you look at some of these numbers, milk up 50% in the last
1:02:12
four years, chicken up 60%, eggs up 100%.
1:02:17
So to say that inflation has not been a a a problem and something
1:02:23
that's affecting you know, people all over the hold on, I
1:02:28
think I figured out how to get rid of that.
1:02:30
There we go. Thank you Leanne again for that
1:02:31
question and the Super chat. It just demonstrates how
1:02:35
important it is to to to have your, your wealth.
1:02:40
You know, we're not giving financial advice, but for me, I
1:02:43
feel comfortable having a a a good chunk of my wealth invested
1:02:47
in something that's proven itself over thousands of years
1:02:51
is a good store of value. Sure, Ron, A great example.
1:02:54
I mean, you've got a, you know, you're stacking silk, just a
1:02:57
little bit of silver, maybe a little bit of gold, but you're
1:03:00
not, you're not stacking bonds there in your basement, are you?
1:03:05
No, no, no. I didn't think you were.
1:03:07
And and you know, actually if you did, I would be surprised
1:03:11
because you're smarter than that.
1:03:13
Why would you be literally saving in something that is
1:03:17
literally going down because the value of the dollar is going
1:03:20
down? Why would you even do that?
1:03:22
That's what states do. That's what states do with their
1:03:25
reserves and their pension funds.
1:03:27
Now I realize that, you know that that gets people upset when
1:03:29
I talk about this stuff. And I don't know the exact rate
1:03:33
of the pension fund in Missouri right now, but I did hear
1:03:35
recently 4.11%, last year it was 2.4%.
1:03:40
It it goes with the interest rates, of course.
1:03:42
But the fact of the matter is it's that doesn't matter if it's
1:03:46
2.4 or 4.11, it's not keeping up with inflation.
1:03:51
So the pension fund is actually shrinking, slowly shrinking,
1:03:56
because they're paying out more than they're getting in on their
1:03:59
dividends, on their yields. This is a problem for pension
1:04:03
funds for states, but also not just pension funds, but
1:04:06
sometimes in reserves. You pass a bill in a state for a
1:04:09
project that's not even going to start for two years.
1:04:12
So the money's been appropriated, it's sitting in
1:04:14
reserves losing value and the cost of that project goes up in
1:04:18
the two year period. You know if you had gold and
1:04:21
silver in your in your in your treasury for reserves, you can
1:04:24
actually mitigate some of this. You know, you can actually keep
1:04:28
up with inflation, you know, keep up the buying power and if
1:04:30
you know you're going to be holding on to it for two years,
1:04:33
gold and silver are much better thing to hang on to the bonds
1:04:36
because as Daniel said, we kind of run out of options here with
1:04:40
the dollar. They're going to print.
1:04:41
They're going to. Print.
1:04:42
Yeah. They have no options, right.
1:04:44
I mean, they monetize the debt basically, which.
1:04:47
Is. Money printing, Fiat.
1:04:51
You know, Frank, whatever. It's all it's all a bunch of
1:04:54
funny money at the end of the day.
1:04:55
So hey, Pat, I know you've got a lot to do there at the state
1:04:59
Capitol. And on behalf of myself and our
1:05:03
viewers, right, these basement dwellers all over the world,
1:05:06
everybody, please give this a thumbs up for for our friend Pat
1:05:09
Holland from the Missouri Freedom Initiative.
1:05:12
You're doing great work not just for the citizens of Missouri,
1:05:16
but for people all throughout the country.
1:05:18
And thank you for joining us today.
1:05:21
You bet. Thank you.
1:05:22
I want to say the basement dwellers, I absolutely love you
1:05:24
guys. Keep up the good work.
1:05:26
The state legislation is very important.
1:05:30
You know, Tennessee also has stuff going on.
1:05:32
So if you're in Tennessee, look up what I can't at this right
1:05:35
time right now. I can't look it up.
1:05:37
You do have a bill that's alive and well right now.
1:05:39
Work on your bill in Tennessee. And I do believe it's legal
1:05:42
tender. You need that.
1:05:44
So Tennesseans work on your bill.
1:05:46
Missourians, we need to work on our bill.
1:05:49
And if you're anywhere else in the country where your bill is
1:05:51
dead or you didn't have one to begin with, like I said, today's
1:05:55
adopt A Senator day. Yeah.
1:05:58
Yeah. OK.
1:05:59
Thank you, Pat. We'll look forward as always.
1:06:01
It's a big pleasure for us. Big treat to have you in the
1:06:04
basement. So we'll, we'll be looking
1:06:07
forward to seeing you soon. OK.
1:06:08
Appreciate you, buddy. God bless you.
1:06:10
God bless the basement dwellers. Thanks, Pat.
1:06:12
Take care, man.
