[SPEAKER_00]: We did review a mock draft from the NFL draft stock exchange, the other day, and I thought that several of the players

[SPEAKER_00]: Just talent-wise made sense at some of the spots, but I didn't agree with some of the, I guess, just some of the roles and positions that they took early in the draft.

[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't done much this season.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've kind of pivoted my interests and my goals and obviously the Jaguars, they were in it for a long time.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, if it's a normal Jacksonville Jaguars season

[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I have a lot of mock drafts under my belt and a lot of prospects watched under my belt.

[SPEAKER_00]: I did do some summer scouting so there was some familiarity and I do pay attention to college football in the draft year around so I'm not completely flying blind here but I'm really excited about this one.

[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of fans when you talk about mock drafts, they just want to talk about the needs and needs are absolutely important.

[SPEAKER_00]: And one thing about the mock drafts and the NFL drafts in general, the draft can be informed by free agency.

[SPEAKER_00]: Free agency can be informed somewhat by the draft as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you might address something in free agency if you don't feel like you can address it in the draft.

[SPEAKER_00]: And vice versa.

[SPEAKER_00]: So fans talk about needs, needs are important.

[SPEAKER_00]: are an interesting team because it's like, what are there needs right now?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's really honestly kind of difficult to say, because I think they did such a good job building up that floor, what they tried to do last off season, raising the floor, I think they built a pretty good foundation throughout the 2025 off season into the actual regular season.

[SPEAKER_00]: As of right now, they don't have Buster Brown, they don't have Greg Newsom, they do have Travis Hunter, who James Gladstone talked about yesterday, as a player that will play both sides, but probably going to have more of an emphasis on corner based on the current roster conditions.

[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick McCary, Anton Harrison, you have Walker Little as a top backup, you have Jonah Monheim as a top backup, you have Tuma Doga as well, you have Wyatt Milum as well, like this is a deep offensive line and now I'm certainly not against the idea of if there's a player you think can upgrade what you have bringing that in and I'm also not against the idea of you know,

[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think it's set in stone, but the way things look at this moment, I'm not focusing heavily on offensive line, just because of what the Jaguars have shown you how they feel about their offensive line.

[SPEAKER_00]: So when I look at this, this team, and I'm sorry, we've been waxing poetic about this roster for a minute and just talking a lot about it, but I think this is gonna be more about this off-season.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I think James Ladsdon at some point this off season is going to do something that is really aggressive and surprising quite frankly to something.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars have a lot of draft capital and there's a specific player that I think, if they could land, there's a few players at this position, but this specific player, I think, would just make so much sense for the Jaguars.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have the Jaguar straightening up from 56 to 42, giving up a compensatory pick at the end of the third round, and a fifth round pick number 164, which a lot of these pick numbers will change because they'll be impacted by the compensatory pick, which are not official yet.

[SPEAKER_00]: He came in and he was playing closer to 280, earlier in his career, and playing a lot of three technique, and he can still kick inside and do that in rush, but either just love how technical he is with his hands.

[SPEAKER_00]: To me, one of the Jaguar's biggest issues is they didn't have a lot of consistent pass rush outside of Josh Hines Allen, and Trayvon Walker obviously dealt with some injuries this year that were really unfortunate.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I think you get a fully healthy Trayvon Walker Josh Hines Allen and Kim Mezzodore.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you keep Eric Armstrong stead in the fold, that could be a lethal combination on pass rush downs.

[SPEAKER_00]: Getting into the third round, we've invested on that defensive front, which you love to see, how about creating another potential superpower?

[SPEAKER_00]: Again, Mesodore is about just like having this souped up insanely good against the run, but across the board, good pass rushers on your defensive front.

[SPEAKER_00]: The reason he could be here at this point is I don't think he's in a lead athlete at the Titan position and usually guys that get drafted really early at Titan have some elite athletic traits.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Jack Andrews, he does have some elite traits, he does not drop the football and that's one thing we love here in Jacksonville, guys who do not drop the ball because you've seen drops so, so long in Jacksonville, be a pandemic and issue, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: He's also a really good run blocker on the move and inline as well But also on the move and so I can just envision Britain strange and Jack Andrews on the move in space Just taking out linebackers and safety's and corners and clear in the way for the Jaguar's rushing attack moving forward

[SPEAKER_00]: But again, injuries is a good athlete, not a great athlete in my opinion, who has extremely confident and consistent hands.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you're talking about somebody who can help you in the past game, in the run game, at Titan and be a huge upgrade over what you've been putting out there with Britain Strange in 12 personnel.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then at 88, our final pick here of this three round mock draft, we go Emmett Johnson, running back, Nebraska.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a good running-back class, say that every year, and it is every year, like running-back classes are just good, typically, they're just dark.

[SPEAKER_00]: Emmett Johnson has, so he's about 200 pounds, six foot, about 200 pounds.

[SPEAKER_00]: Super valuable special teamer and great run block pass blocker for you and bring an Emmett Johnson, so you can have that two-headed running back duo in front of Lequat Allen to really be the primary ball carriers and primary snap getters, you know, in normal down situations and Emmett Johnson is super

[SPEAKER_00]: He isn't explosive player, but he has incredible vision and lateral agility, elucidness.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's incredibly patient in a zone rushing attack, which Jaguar's like to run a lot of zone.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you combine all those traits and look at the fact that he doesn't put the ball on the ground, and he is a really good pass catcher out of the back field,

[SPEAKER_00]: You're talking about a lot of versatility and skill that you're adding to the offense if you lose Travis UTM.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not putting Image on some a head of basial toon on the depth chart by any stretch, but now you have or even liquid Allen to start, but if he comes in and performs the way he has performed,
