- 1:51Speaker 3: So Chipotle has split a couple weeks ago and then
- 1:55Speaker 3: suffered a recent decline. So what's the what's the deal
- 2:00Speaker 3: with Chipotle?
- 2:00Speaker 4: Now?
- 2:00Speaker 3: Is it time to start mining Chipotle stock?
- 2:04Speaker 4: I think so. I was slowly easing to it.
- 2:08Speaker 5: I do want to see the succession plan, because when
- 2:10Speaker 5: you lose a great CEO like the one they lost,
- 2:14Speaker 5: it does have an impact.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Now they do have great systems in place. I do
- 2:18Speaker 4: like the stock.
- 2:18Speaker 5: I do want to see what changes they would make
- 2:21Speaker 5: after losing him, because some people are just great drivers
- 2:24Speaker 5: of a business. He was one of them. But if
- 2:27Speaker 5: we're going to be very honest, like that Stock one
- 2:29Speaker 5: of the biggest mistakes that I made is when they
- 2:32Speaker 5: had that deep dip and I sold off a few
- 2:35Speaker 5: years ago in twenty eighteen, And it goes to show
- 2:38Speaker 5: like and even though like I made it up in
- 2:39Speaker 5: other AMD and video Lily stuff like that, Like it
- 2:43Speaker 5: just shows the power of holding and letting the restructure.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Will Liam is a great example of that.
- 2:48Speaker 5: Before Elon got there, there was not as much fanfare
- 2:50Speaker 5: for the stock. Just holding through every wave of ups
- 2:53Speaker 5: and downs is really key. But fundamentally the business is there,
- 2:56Speaker 5: great profit margins is great. We talked about it. I
- 3:00Speaker 5: got like one of all the fast food places I
- 3:02Speaker 5: feel comfortable like going to because of the quality. So yeah,
- 3:07Speaker 5: great company. I would look to add some positions to
- 3:09Speaker 5: it now. And I think it's one of those companies
- 3:13Speaker 5: that you cannot miss out off for like the next
- 3:14Speaker 5: five execuits.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I went you, I went you. I mean, it just
- 3:18Speaker 1: feels like a natural progression. That's kind of what we
- 3:20Speaker 1: talked about when Stock split and what just so happened
- 3:22Speaker 1: in the video. I think the double double whammy polls
- 3:26Speaker 1: is that they you changed your CEO and right after that.
- 3:30Speaker 1: So people don't like uncertainty. And for the past five years,
- 3:35Speaker 1: definitely during the pandemic. We've seen Chipotle just after that
- 3:39Speaker 1: twenty eighteen when they when they had the food.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that crisis was big. That would have crippled they.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it was tough and they took a hit for it,
- 3:50Speaker 1: but they recovered nicely. We covered it, you know what
- 3:54Speaker 1: Brian Nicole did to get them back on track. So
- 3:56Speaker 1: now you lose that leader, now what And so that
- 4:00Speaker 1: I think his effective date is as the new col
- 4:03Speaker 1: Starbucks is September ninth.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Right when Breake cuts.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Right, So you're talking about like in the next week
- 4:09Speaker 1: or two you're gonna have you're gonna name whose predecessor
- 4:12Speaker 1: is that would be important to the future of the stock.
- 4:16Speaker 2: But it is a short stock. Like I said that,
- 4:18Speaker 2: the margins are great.
- 4:19Speaker 1: So if it's a stock that was on your watch
- 4:21Speaker 1: list and you're waiting to pull back like a guy
- 4:24Speaker 1: like me, it might be a good time.
- 4:26Speaker 5: Can we talk about the importance of keeping momentum at
- 4:29Speaker 5: all costs because maybe fifteen years ago Subway with Chipotle,
- 4:34Speaker 5: and now I'm worried if Subway is even going to survive.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Subway has the most restaurants in the country.
- 4:44Speaker 5: What one of the deepest pullbacks I've seen, just like
- 4:47Speaker 5: sales are through the.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Floor, and they just so they've watched the model, like
- 4:52Speaker 1: Chipotle has definitely coming and taken over.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Cava is now Cava's.
- 4:59Speaker 4: I mean, if you put yoga i'm at in your bread.
- 5:01Speaker 1: This is with the thing about Cova is that they
- 5:03Speaker 1: don't have that many locations yet. Yeah, so the growth
- 5:06Speaker 1: and the potential for growth is still there. So they
- 5:08Speaker 1: come into space. Subway is now for the first time
- 5:11Speaker 1: adjusting the prices. So the mistake, right, but what they're
- 5:15Speaker 1: doing to here's what they're doing though, right, So like
- 5:18Speaker 1: one of the plans is like let's give them more
- 5:20Speaker 1: with a little bit of an elevated price, and so
- 5:22Speaker 1: like let's say it was a meal that would of
- 5:24Speaker 1: course sixteen ninety nine, they're now selling that for seven
- 5:27Speaker 1: ninety nine. So they're trying to infuse new ways to
- 5:30Speaker 1: generate income. But it's tough, right when people start looking
- 5:34Speaker 1: at healthier options. Not that Chapole is the healthiest option,
- 5:37Speaker 1: but it feels like it's a sophisticated fast food.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Cova is now in that space. You got a couple
- 5:42Speaker 2: other companies that are in the space. So it's tough.
- 5:45Speaker 1: It's tough. You have to be innovative. They don't have
- 5:48Speaker 1: the mobile part component.
- 5:50Speaker 4: I mean, but it's hard to build a mobile part
- 5:51Speaker 4: of the Food isn't what you eat that subway.
- 5:54Speaker 3: What I eat and I don't eat fast food. But
- 5:57Speaker 3: are your tuning fish chamis if I had.
- 5:58Speaker 2: To from but I used to eat the kariakee chicken.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Sandwich is good. Yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Did they hit me up about the chocolate? No, no, shot,
- 6:10Speaker 2: he's paid.
- 6:10Speaker 4: They thing.
- 6:11Speaker 1: They said, that's not really a candy Somebody text me
- 6:12Speaker 1: that it's not a candy bar?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Is I don't know? They said there's no chocolate in it.
- 6:18Speaker 4: You can have a candy bar without chocolate, can can you?
- 6:21Speaker 4: Why not?
- 6:21Speaker 3: That's a prerequisite to be a candy bar chocolate. Somebody
- 6:24Speaker 3: gave me a payday too. Actually may be listening shouting.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Everybody gave me a fist bum. Appreciate you. Shouts of
- 6:31Speaker 3: food pubid that offered the hand sanitizer, appreciate you, thank you.
- 6:36Speaker 2: I don't I know that. I thought it was a chocolate.
- 6:38Speaker 2: It's peanuts and camera.
- 6:40Speaker 5: I thought if it was just candy in it.
- 6:45Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 6:45Speaker 5: I'm not a hers, She's kind of s But I
- 6:48Speaker 5: think it's really important for these brands because we're going
- 6:51Speaker 5: through a shift. Like even with Starbucks, Dutch Bros. Is
- 6:54Speaker 5: catching fire. Yeah yeah, So like, can you guys talk
- 6:57Speaker 5: about the important of keeping momentum while the brand is
- 7:01Speaker 5: hot and not falling back.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It's the company line we say to each other all
- 7:05Speaker 1: the time. Don't leave it why you're hot, That's how
- 7:07Speaker 1: it may screwed up. Shot to Betha right, like when
- 7:10Speaker 1: you when when it's it's hot, Paul Gasolino.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And the way to do that is to be consistent.
- 7:19Speaker 1: And so most people have to run like we just
- 7:21Speaker 1: had leading up to the Vest Vest.
- 7:23Speaker 2: People don't realize the work that it takes.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That is an entire festival market, Monday still happens, your
- 7:29Speaker 1: leisure still happens, Blackout still happens. There's other businesses that
- 7:34Speaker 1: are happening, but you have to be consistent with all
- 7:36Speaker 1: of them. And so that's what keeps you hot is
- 7:39Speaker 1: because people can rely on you and they know you're
- 7:41Speaker 1: going to be consistent, and the consistency brings trust, and
- 7:44Speaker 1: with that trust now people feel like, all right, I
- 7:47Speaker 1: can go to them. You get people from other businesses saying, oh,
- 7:50Speaker 1: those are the guys you Yeah, you become the pillar
- 7:54Speaker 1: of the space because it's like, all right, we can
- 7:55Speaker 1: trust them. We know they're consistent, they've been here for
- 7:57Speaker 1: a while, they're vetted. We like these guys. Let's rock
- 8:01Speaker 1: with them.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Yeah. Most people want to have the night that we
- 8:03Speaker 4: had last nighte and allegend legend legend for me. It
- 8:08Speaker 4: was an.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child in Massachusetts.
- 8:16Speaker 6: An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador accused of
- 8:19Speaker 6: murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with filming and
- 8:23Speaker 6: selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just some of
- 8:27Speaker 6: the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President Donald J.
- 8:31Speaker 6: Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States Secretary of
- 8:35Speaker 6: Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings are
- 8:40Speaker 6: at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over one hundred
- 8:43Speaker 6: thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you are here illegally,
- 8:47Speaker 6: your next you will be fine nearly one thousand dollars
- 8:51Speaker 6: a day, imprisoned and deported, you will never return. But
- 8:55Speaker 6: if you register using our CBP home app and leave now,
- 8:59Speaker 6: you could be allowed to return legally. Do what's right.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Leave now. Under President Trump America's laws, border and families
- 9:08Speaker 6: will be protected.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
