  Speaker 2: Plenty of highlights. Of course, things started off.

  Speaker 1: We had a bunch of puppies arrived today and Stephan

  Speaker 1: Diggs almost lost one, luckily not a precursor to what

  Speaker 2: It was an active day, more of a review day.

  Speaker 1: I would say, listen from some of the players early on,

  Speaker 1: but I think the thing that stood out to me

  Speaker 1: was the very first play in eleven on eleven Stefan

  Speaker 1: digs on a crosser, was like, this is what we're

  Speaker 2: Little connection between him and Drake. Good way to start things.

  Speaker 3: It's a great way to start things. And only two

  Speaker 3: team periods in the ninety minute practice, so it wasn't

  Speaker 3: a ton of like real football to Glee and I

  Speaker 3: don't want to come in here and have all these

  Speaker 3: big proclamations off of one practice, not in pads. But

  Speaker 3: it was great to see Stefan Diggs out there as

  Speaker 3: a full participant. It didn't seem like he was limited

  Speaker 3: at all or hindered at all by that knee injury.

  Speaker 3: And like you said, very first play of eleven on

  Speaker 3: eleven's a little shallow crosser over the middle of the

  Speaker 3: field in stride just to fon Diggs. Big roar from

  Speaker 3: the crowd. That's the connection everybody came here to see.

  Speaker 3: So it's great to already have those two hitting it off.

  Speaker 1: Staying with some individual plays, Kyle Williams a couple catches,

  Speaker 1: real nice can test to catch along the sideline against

  Speaker 1: Christian Gonzalez. Again, I think there were maybe about thirteen

  Speaker 1: or about sixteen total plays of eleven on eleven this
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: whole practice.

  Speaker 2: But Kyle Williams rookie making two catches.

  Speaker 1: It's hard to ask for a better start for a

  Speaker 1: rookie receiver than to you know, get.

  Speaker 3: Involved absolutely and against Christian Gonzalez on the backside. Drake

  Speaker 3: May kind of broke it down after practice and said
• 1:44
  Speaker 3: he saw, you know, one on one out there and

  Speaker 3: just gave Kyle Williams a chance a little back shoulder
• 1:49
  Speaker 3: fade finished through some contact on Gonzo. It was pretty

  Speaker 3: tight in coverage, So that was one thing that you
• 1:55
  Speaker 3: talk about with speed receivers one hundred and ninety pounds,

  Speaker 3: like how is he going to play through contact? How

  Speaker 3: is he going to handle the physicality of the NFL?

  Speaker 3: And Kyle Williams right away and made a play right
• 2:04
  Speaker 3: through contacts that was good to see. And the other

  Speaker 3: catch that he made a little underneath dump off that

  Speaker 3: Drake may had to him. It looked like a nice

  Speaker 3: progression by Drake to get to the check down and

  Speaker 3: Kyle Williams turned it upfield and he had some room there,

  Speaker 3: you know, Robert Spulane was trying to catch up to him,

  Speaker 3: and you saw that juice and that ability after the

  Speaker 3: catch shine in that play as well. So I thought

  Speaker 3: that even in a live setting that that probably would

  Speaker 3: have been a big play for Kyle Williams too. So

  Speaker 3: two really standout plays from him.

  Speaker 1: I have you been saying, you're really excited to see

  Speaker 1: how Drake, you know, meshes into Josh McDaniel's offense, what

  Speaker 1: it looks like, you know what were just some of

  Speaker 1: your takeaways today watching and it admittedly limited sample size.

  Speaker 3: It was nice to see some of the quick rhythm

  Speaker 3: throws that we did see. One that really stood out

  Speaker 3: was to pop Douglas on the right sideline, just a
• 2:47
  Speaker 3: little slant flat, but he read it quickly. The ball

  Speaker 3: was out on time. You know, Josh McDaniels loves the
• 2:53
  Speaker 3: quick game. He wants to get the ball in first
• 2:55
  Speaker 3: and second down out of the quarterback's hands as quickly
• 2:58
  Speaker 3: as possible. And I thought that play right now there,

  Speaker 3: great read, really quick, trusted it, let it go to Douglas,
• 3:04
  Speaker 3: gave him a chance to maybe pick up some yards
• 3:06
  Speaker 3: after the catch too. So I saw that play and

  Speaker 3: I was like, all right, that's an odd time in
• 3:11
  Speaker 3: rhythm play. That's how it should look, which is what
• 3:13
  Speaker 3: you want to see.

  Speaker 2: So sticking on the offensive side of the ball.

  Speaker 1: Just one other little nugget we mentioned rookie Kyle Williams

  Speaker 1: making some catches. Notice rookie Jared Wilson getting some snaps

  Speaker 1: at center there under Drake Man. And you don't want

  Speaker 1: to read too much into it. We know the competition
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: on the interior line is going to happen all summer long.

  Speaker 1: But good sign for a rookie Jared Wilson who spent

  Speaker 1: all the spring kind of rehabbing wasn't really involved.

  Speaker 2: We get out here day one, he's already getting some opportunities.

  Speaker 3: Yeah, I love to see it because he didn't see
• 3:38
  Speaker 3: him in the spring, and you always worry about rookies

  Speaker 3: starting behind the eight ball a little bit when they

  Speaker 3: can't practice due to injuries or whatever their situation is.

  Speaker 3: So seeing Jared Wilson out there instantly here in training

  Speaker 3: camp play a little bit of guard, a little bit

  Speaker 3: of center, looked like Garrett Bradbury was kind of leading
• 3:52
  Speaker 3: off drills at center, and then Wilson would come in
• 3:55
  Speaker 3: and play a little bit of center and snap the
• 3:57
  Speaker 3: ball as well. So a really athletic player, we know that,

  Speaker 3: really high upside player as well. Bradbury kind of here
• 4:04
  Speaker 3: to be a bridge, you know, a one year stop

  Speaker 3: gap veteran. So if Jared Wilson can really start to

  Speaker 3: come on here the talent, it kind of elevates the
• 4:13
  Speaker 3: talent of that offensive line. There's a little bit more
• 4:15
  Speaker 3: upside there with him at center.

  Speaker 1: Yeah, Cole Strange getting plentying opportunities at left guard as well.

  Speaker 1: Let's flip it over to the defensive side of the ball,

  Speaker 1: which again really and by.

  Speaker 3: That you waited this long for the defense, I know
• 4:24
  Speaker 3: what it killed you.

  Speaker 1: Well, there were no pads on, so I even I
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: could admit it's a little hard to evaluate the defense today.

  Speaker 1: Caught at least one sack from key On White coming

  Speaker 1: off the edge. Did the old you know, tap Drake

  Speaker 1: in the button, put the hands up like I got him.

  Speaker 2: Good play from key On White. Seemed like they were
• 4:38
  Speaker 2: getting some pressure.

  Speaker 3: They were definitely getting some pressure. And if there's you
• 4:42
  Speaker 3: can look at it both ways with these training camp practices.

  Speaker 3: On the positive end, Milton Williams, Keon White saw Harold
• 4:48
  Speaker 3: Landry in there, Chase On in there a little bit.

  Speaker 3: That's the positive, right, is that the defense was getting pressure.

  Speaker 3: The other side of that, though, is obviously you're talking
• 4:56
  Speaker 3: about the Patriots offensive line and the issues that they've
• 4:59
  Speaker 3: had over the last couple of years blocking. But in general,
• 5:02
  Speaker 3: I thought there was a decent amount of pressure on
• 5:04
  Speaker 3: Drake May in this practice. And I don't really love
• 5:06
  Speaker 3: counting like practice sacks. You never actually know if they
• 5:09
  Speaker 3: would have gotten him on the ground. And it's hard
• 5:11
  Speaker 3: to see live without actually going back and reviewing it.
• 5:14
  Speaker 3: But let's call it. You know, a handful of pressures
• 5:16
  Speaker 3: certainly that were on the quarterback. Positive end is that
• 5:19
  Speaker 3: Milton Williams and Kean White and Landry and those guys
• 5:22
  Speaker 3: were doing their job. Negative vent is obviously getting that
• 5:25
  Speaker 3: offensive line going.

  Speaker 1: Yeah, Roberts spoiling very complimentary the defensive lineman, saying, we
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: just want to let those dogs eat.

  Speaker 2: They get after it. The linebackers will take care of
• 5:32
  Speaker 2: the rest.

  Speaker 1: Anything else of that overall that stood out to you,
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: I would say just attendance. One notable Jalen Polk, who

  Speaker 1: had been rehabbing most of the offseason, limited with the
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: shoulder surgery. I believe he wasn't around, He wasn't dressed,
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: So that's you know, it seemed like the team was
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: healthy going in. But a little bit of a strike
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: there for a poor Jalen Polk, you know, wanted to
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: get going, bounced back from that rookie season.
• 5:53
  Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe a little bit unexpected just because he wasn't
• 5:55
  Speaker 3: on any of the lists, not on PUP or NFI.

  Speaker 3: But he didn't practice. Matt Collins still not really practicing.

  Speaker 3: I don't know what to call him right now. There's
• 6:03
  Speaker 3: like technicalities with is he off perview?
• 6:06
  Speaker 2: Is he not off pup?

  Speaker 3: But the one guy on the positive end was Carlton Davis,
• 6:10
  Speaker 3: who started on NFI early on in camp. Yesterday, Raybel
• 6:14
  Speaker 3: told us he was on NFI but would come off quickly.
• 6:16
  Speaker 3: And he's already off, you know, day one, he was
• 6:18
  Speaker 3: already out there opposite Christian Gonzalez. So you have that
• 6:21
  Speaker 3: cornerback tandem that you want with Davis and Gonzalez. So
• 6:24
  Speaker 3: I don't think whatever it was with Carlton Davis, now
• 6:27
  Speaker 3: we can just kind of forget about that.
• 6:28
  Speaker 2: All right.

  Speaker 1: Well, day one is officially in the books. We are

  Speaker 1: off and rolling. We will have these training camp casts
