- 0:15SPEAKER_00: if you've wanted to understand your natal chart or make sense of what's happening in
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: the sky,
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: but maybe it's felt overwhelming, complicated, or hard to know where to begin.

- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone and welcome back to Astrology for Beginners.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: This is our look ahead at Scorpio season 2026,
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: which begins on October 23rd and continues until November 22nd when
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: the sun will move into Sagittarius.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: And I gotta say,
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: this is a particularly interesting Scorpio season because in some ways,
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: we've already been experiencing a whole lot of Scorpio energy for weeks now.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Venus has been moving forward.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: We've been retrograde through Scorpio,
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Mercury has been traveling through Scorpio as well,
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: and we've been navigating some pretty significant planetary aspects involving both
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: of those two planets.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Even before the sun enters Scorpio,
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: many of us have probably been noticing some of those classic Scorpio themes coming
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: to the surface.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Things like intimacy and trust,
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: money and shared resources,
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: our deeper emotional needs,
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: our relationships,
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: and perhaps some of the fears or insecurities that influence the way we approach all
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: of those areas of our lives.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Now, Scorpio is a fixed water sign.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: It's traditionally ruled by Mars, with Pluto serving as its modern ruler.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: And it's a sign that's associated with lots and lots of emotional depth,
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: investigation,
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: transformation,
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: and everything that exists beneath the surface,
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: whether we think about those things all the time or not.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Scorpio isn't usually content with superficial explanations.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: It wants to understand what is really going on.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: What is the real motivation here?
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: What are we afraid of, right?
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: What are we holding on to that maybe we don't need to and what might need to change?
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: And now,
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: with the Sun entering Scorpio,
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: it's going to feel kind of like we're shining a light on some of the things
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: that we've already been exploring over the past few weeks.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Remember that the Sun in astrology represents our conscious awareness,
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: our sense of identity, and our vitality, too.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: So when it enters Scorpio, it can bring greater awareness to those deeper types of things.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: And this year...
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: That process is, again,
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: really interesting because we're going to have both Mercury and Venus retrograde at
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: the same time.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Two personal planets retrograde at the same time is not a small thing.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: We'll have two Kazimis involving those planets and
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: then both planets stationing direct on the very same day.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: The same day!
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: That's a pretty unusual combination.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: This is not a series of events that is going to happen all that often.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: So let's take a look at what is happening over the course of the next month or so.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: On October 23rd,
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: the same day that we begin Scorpio season,
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: we begin it with one of the most significant events of
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: the entire Venus retrograde cycle.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Just hours, really,
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: after the Sun enters Scorpio,
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: it forms an exact conjunction with retrograde Venus at 0 degrees and 45 minutes
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: of Scorpio.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: This is what's known as a Venus Kazemi or Venus Star Point.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: If you've been following recent episodes or the Venus retrograde field notes,
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: you know that we've been talking quite a bit about this retrograde and
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: the different stages of this journey.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: And this Kazemi is a particularly important stage of it.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: A Kazemi occurs when a planet forms a very close, tight conjunction with the sun.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: It's in the heart of the sun.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: In this case,
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: because Venus is retrograde,
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: it's what's known as an inferior conjunction,
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: which occurs when Venus passes between the Earth and the Sun.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: This is a turning point in the retrograde cycle.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Now, we know that Venus represents our values,
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: our desires, relationships, money, pleasure, and a sense of worth.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: And during a Venus retrograde, we get to revisit and reconsider these things.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: We get to think about what matters to us.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: We get to think about what we want,
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: about how our relationships are functioning,
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: the way we show up in our relationships,
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: and also whether all of those things are a true reflection of what we value.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: Or do the ways that we approach money,
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: intimacy,
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: or self-worth,
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: And at the Kazemi,
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: something about that process,
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: which you've been exploring for weeks now with this Venus retrogrades,
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: something that you've been exploring since Venus entered her pre-shadow period even,
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: which was, you know, late summer, early fall, may begin to get clearer.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: This is the light bulb being switched on.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: This is seeing or understanding the thing that you either weren't aware of before
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: or were overlooking before or the thing you just couldn't see before coming
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: into focus now because your perspective has changed.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: And in Scorpio,
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: it might feel like the moment that this sign always craves,
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: which is getting to the bottom of things, finally seeing behind the curtain.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Getting underneath the hood.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Finding the thing underneath the thing.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's the moment you finally recognize a pattern in a relationship
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: for what it is instead of what you had been telling yourself it was.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: Or maybe it's the moment you finally understand why
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: a particular financial issue has been so deeply emotionally charged for you.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: And maybe it's not even what you thought, right?
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: Maybe that financial issue isn't really about the money
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: at all like you thought it was,
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: but maybe it represents something else that feels more visceral
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: or something else that's actually more relational or emotional.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Or maybe it's the moment when you realize
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: that something you thought you really wanted,
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: you know, isn't something you want now, right?
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Of course, it doesn't necessarily mean that everything becomes clear in an instant.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: Your life is not going to get solved with the Venus Kazemi on October 23rd.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the Kazemi, you know, well, for a few of you, it may feel like a very pivotal point.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: But it can also be like a seed being planted or simply the beginning of
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: a new understanding or a new way of being,
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: that will continue to develop over the remainder of the retrograde and beyond.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: But there is something else about this particular Kazemi that feels really noteworthy.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: It's happening at the very beginning of Scorpio at zero degrees.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Now, zero degrees is often considered a highly significant threshold.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: It represents the very beginning of a sign.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: This is the ingress, right?
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: The point where we're moving from one kind of energy into another kind of energy.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: So here we have Venus in the middle of a process of reviewing our relationships
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: and values and Coming together with the Sun at the very doorway of the sign
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: of Scorpio.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: And symbolically, there's something really powerful about that.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: We're at a turning point in a process that's playing out, right?
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: The Venus retrograde.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: But we're also, with this degree, standing at the beginning of something new.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: And this particular, you know, Venus star point has...
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: And even larger historical significance that I want to highlight here for just a moment.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: Now, to understand this, let's talk a little about the way Venus moves, right?
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: Venus moves through the sky in a really beautiful pattern, right?
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: And every planet has a specific pattern that they make over and over again in
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: the sky as they go through their cycles.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: But Venus has the most beautiful pattern, many people would say.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: Look it up if you haven't seen it.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: It's lovely.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: Venus This forms this lovely five-pointed pattern through the zodiac
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: over approximately eight years with the points gradually shifting backward through
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: the signs, you know, over much longer periods of time.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: So for roughly the past century,
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: one of these recurring Venus star points has been taking place in the sign
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: of Scorpio.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: But this October's Kazemi marks the end of that particular series of Scorpio star points, right?
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: Future Kazimis will now shift into the sign of Libra.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: And we won't see another,
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: inferior Venus conjunction in Scorpio for like,
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know, like 150 years or something.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: So this is the last one of our lifetime here.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: So this isn't just an important moment in our current, you know, Venus retrograde cycle.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: It's also important Representative of the completion of
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: a much longer astrological pattern that's been playing out.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: Zero degrees here represents the purest form of Scorpio energy,
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: but the event itself Also represents the end of a story,
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: the end of a multi-generational journey that Venus has had in this sign.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: It's a set of lessons being brought to completion for now,
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: almost like with the urgency of a final exam.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Now, I wouldn't suggest that we can point to any kind of particular type of event
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: that will happen for everyone because of this or anything like that.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: But symbolically,
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: I do think it's really fascinating to think about this larger historical pattern.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: And if we consider how much of our collective understanding of relationships,
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: intimacy,
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: financial independence,
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: gender roles,
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: We have certainly had to dig underneath the surface and pull out a lot
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: of underlying cultural assumptions and ways of thinking and being.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: Around all of these Venusian concepts and examine them both on a collective level
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: and on an individual and familial interpersonal level too.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: Now, at a personal level,
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: you might want to just consider where zero degrees of Scorpio falls
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: in your natal chart and whether you have any planets or important points near
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: that degree,
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: because that may offer some clues about
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: where this turning point will feel especially relevant in terms of your own life.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: And then just a few hours after that Venus Kazemi,
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: Mercury stations retrograde at approximately 21 degrees of Scorpio.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: This is on October 24th here in North America.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: I find the timing here so interesting
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: because we have this Really illuminating moment in the Venus retrograde journey,
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: this Kazemi.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: And almost immediately afterward,
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: Mercury,
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: the planet of thinking and communication,
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: of our perceptions of information, begins its own retrograde process.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: It's like, okay,
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: we're going to reconsider our values and relationships,
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: and then we also need to examine the thoughts,
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: assumptions, and conversations surrounding them.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: So the overlap between these two retrogrades feels really important here.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: For example,
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: Venus would have us really consider what we want from a particular partnership
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: or relationship.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: And then Mercury might then come in next
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: to have us consider how we're communicating those needs.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Is what we're communicating aligned with that?
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: Alternatively,
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: Venus might bring up questions about money or financial security or our sense
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: of what we feel we're worth.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: And then Mercury might help us examine the beliefs that we've developed around money
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: or the conversations we've been having or avoiding about money.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Venus might reveal a pattern in how we approach intimacy or partnership on
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: a more general level over the course of our lives, right?
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: Then Mercury might help us recognize the stories we tell ourselves,
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: the narratives that keep that pattern alive.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: Is that unhealthy or less desirable pattern being caused or fed by beliefs
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: or narratives that need to be adjusted?
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: And because Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio,
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: there's again this added emphasis on digging deeper.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Scorpio is investigative.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: It wants to uncover what's hidden, including the things we may be reluctant to acknowledge.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: So this could be a really productive period for revisiting,
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: important conversations we've had or examining our assumptions about something and
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: then thinking more deeply about our motivations.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Of course,
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Mercury can also coincide with those familiar communication mix-ups,
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: travel delays,
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: and misunderstandings of all kinds that we often associate with Mercury retrograde.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: These can certainly happen,
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: and likely will to some extent,
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: but Mercury retrograde isn't just about all of these little snafus, you know.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: Often the purpose, and especially in this sign, is it wants us to go much deeper.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: And I always like to remind listeners that Mercury retrograde isn't inherently negative.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: You know,
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: sometimes the opportunity to reconsider something important is exactly what we need
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: to do.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: It's the exact right next step.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: And with Venus and Mercury retrograde simultaneously,
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: we have a very unusual opportunity to examine both what we value or what we need.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: And the ways we think and communicate about those things.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: Now on October 25th, Venus retrogrades back into Libra, one of the two signs she rules.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: And this is a really interesting shift here.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: While Venus in Scorpio has been emphasizing intimacy, trust,
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: vulnerability,
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: emotional attachment,
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: and shared resources,
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Venus in Libra brings us back to questions of partnership and balance and fairness
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: and reciprocity.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: Both of these two signs,
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: by the way, are very interpersonal and, you know, relationship oriented.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: But we're all going to be kind of thinking and contemplating how we navigate
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: the needs of two people in a relationship, any kind of relationship, by the way.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have to be a romantic one or romantic.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: We're going to be looking at the ways that we're giving and receiving in tandem
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: and does it feel balanced, right?
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: We're going to be looking at whether or not we're being honest about what we need or
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: whether we're making compromises that aren't really working for us.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: And remember,
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Venus isn't finished with Scorpio yet either,
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: even though she's retrograding back into Libra.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: She'll eventually return to Scorpio after stationing direct again,
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: but she does so from a newer and hopefully more evolved and experienced perspective
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: at that point.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: Then on October 26th, we have a full moon at around three degrees of Taurus.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: And this full moon is especially interesting because it forms a T-square with Pluto
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: and Aquarius.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: The sun is in Scorpio.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: The moon is opposite in Taurus.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: All full moons are a sun-moon opposition.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: And Pluto is squaring both of them from early Aquarius.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: Now if you're recognizing these degrees,
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: that's because those early degrees of Scorpio and Aquarius are where
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: the Venus-Pluto squares have been And now this full moon is activating
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: that same fixed sign territory.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: So this feels like some of the themes that we've been exploring already
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: through Venus retrograde may be illuminated yet again,
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: perhaps from a slightly different angle.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: Now all full moons symbolize culmination, right?
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: This is about heightened awareness or something being illuminated or coming into view.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: And the Taurus-Scorpio axis is especially relevant to this Venus retrograde.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: Because when something is happening in one sign,
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: like Scorpio, we typically get a chance to look at the axis it's on as a whole.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: You know, both sides of an issue can come up.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: In this case,
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: Taurus is concerned with stability,
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: security, our resources, and what we have, what resources we have or rely upon.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Scorpio,
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: on the other hand,
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: brings us into territory of shared resources,
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: emotional entanglements, trust, vulnerability, honesty, and change, right?
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Scorpio doesn't like to let go.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: In fact, neither of these signs particularly likes to let go of things.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: And with Pluto involved,
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: we may find ourselves yet again examining what we fear,
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: where we're hanging on too tight or can't let go,
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: where we're afraid to flow or change,
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: which can also center around issues of power,
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: control, attachment to things or people.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: And again, our resistance to change in general.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: Fixed signs are known for their persistence and determination,
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: but they can also have a difficult time letting go notoriously.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: So this full moon might bring up stuff that shows us where our desire
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: for security is actually constructive,
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: because sometimes it is,
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: versus where it might be keeping us attached to something
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: that no longer serves us very well.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: And because Venus rules Taurus,
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: right, this full moon is connected directly to the ongoing Venus retrograde story.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Then on October 28th, Retrograde Venus in Libra forms another opposition to Chiron in Aries.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: This is the second of three Venus-Chiron oppositions associated with this retrograde cycle.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: The first occurred as Venus was moving forward through Libra.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: Now she's returning to the same territory while retrograde and she'll make
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: a third opposition after she stations direct.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: And I think these repeated aspects are worth paying attention to.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: When a retrograde planet makes the same aspect three times,
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: we can sometimes think of it as having three opportunities to engage
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: with whatever theme comes up through that aspect.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: The first time we may encounter something that shifts our attention onto a particular issue.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And the second time the aspect occurs during the retrograde,
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: we have an opportunity to revisit or understand that thing more deeply
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: and more thoroughly.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: And then the third time the aspect occurs,
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: once the planet is moving forward again,
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: we have an opportunity to approach that issue differently than we did the first
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: or second time.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: Now with Venus opposite Chiron,
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: we might encounter things that show us some kind of woundedness
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: that we've been carrying around with regards to relationships,
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: self-worth,
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: maybe rejection, or the balance between our needs and the needs of others, right?
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: This is going to be a Venus-related wound that's getting pressed on or poked a little bit here.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: Chiron and Aries can symbolize an identity wound, right?
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Where we're afraid of being ourselves or where we're concerned that,
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: you know, we're not okay as we are.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: Maybe we're not lovable as we are.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: It can touch upon fears or vulnerabilities related to our sense of agency or independence.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: And it can touch upon our ability to assert ourselves.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: Now Venus and Libra,
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: as we have talked about,
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: emphasizes partnership and harmony and our desire for human connection.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: So this could be about looking at how we maintain our sense of self or our agency
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: while also having meaningful relationships, right?
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: They're not mutually exclusive things.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: And where might we be compromising our own needs because we're afraid
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: of disappointing or upsetting somebody else?
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: Next, on October 30th, retrograde Mercury in Scorpio forms a square to Mars in Leo.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Now, Mercury and Mars can be a pretty lively combination at times.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Mercury represents our thinking and our communication,
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: while Mars represents action, drive, how we pursue what we want, assertion.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: And anger, right?
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: And when they form a square,
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: there can be tension between what we're thinking and how we're acting, right?
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: We might feel really impatient or defensive or particularly eager to make our point.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: Like it's just absolutely imperative that we put ourselves across right now,
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: this very minute, that kind of thing.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: And with Mercury and Scorpio,
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Conversations being had may involve some sensitive subjects
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: or things we've been holding on to or haven't let go of yet,
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: or issues that haven't been fully resolved and need another look.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: Mars in Leo can bring pride and a strong desire to be heard or recognized.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: You know, that's the Leo influence coming in.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: So we may just want to be Mindful here of situations where
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: a conversation becomes more about defending our own position rather
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: than actually understanding one another.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: What's especially interesting here is that Mercury is retrograde.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: So this isn't necessarily going to be a brand new issue that comes up, right?
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: It could be an old disagreement.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: This may be something that's been talked about or looked at a little bit at least
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: before, right?
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Something we thought we'd already resolved that, again, needs another look.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: And in fact, Mercury already squared Mars earlier in October before stationing retrograde.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: So this is another example here of an aspect repeating as part of a retrograde process.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: Again, the second time that an aspect is made,
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: we get opportunities to review the way we went about something the first time.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: Not because we did it wrong or anything like that,
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: but because there may be another perspective that we can consider.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: Then on November 4th, we have our second Kazemi of the season.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: This is the day after Election Day in the United States.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: So this could be a pretty interesting election season here.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: There could be some kind of illuminating realization or moment
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: of clarity taking place the day after as results start solidifying.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: Now, of course,
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: we don't know yet what kind of realization that's going to be or if we will like it
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: or not, but it's certainly not going to be boring, I would guess.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: But we have Mercury retrograde meeting up with the sun at around 12 degrees Scorpio, right?
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Same kind of sun to planet meetup.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: That we talked about with the Venus Kazemi.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: So you already know this is a big moment in the retrograde cycle, a turning point.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Here's how I'd think about the difference, okay?
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: Venus encourages you to think about what you want and about what, who, and what matters to you.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Mercury, though, wants you to consider your perspectives, okay?
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: It's about taking a look at the stories we tell ourselves or what we have assumed
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: to be true and whether or not that is really in fact true.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: And Mercury in Scorpio is basically a detective, right?
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: It wants to know what's really going on underneath.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: It wants to go back over the story.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: It wants to watch the movie for a second time.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: You know that feeling when you watch a film for the second time and you start seeing
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: and hearing all the things you missed the first time?
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: It's like, oh, I didn't catch that before.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: What was I doing?
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: How did I miss that?
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: What can also be true...
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: Though, is that Mercury Kazimies,
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: especially in this sign,
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: can sometimes lead to plot twists or even information getting revealed
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: that you didn't expect to get.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: Sometimes secrets can come out with this type of energy,
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: especially with all of this Venus retrograde energy and this focus
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: on relationships going on simultaneously.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Mercury Kazemi in Scorpio,
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: especially with Venus retrograde,
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: is not exactly the energy someone would pick if they had relationship secrets,
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: for example, that they were keeping under wraps.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: Now, that sounds very dramatic,
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: of course, and it probably won't be that dramatic for the vast majority of people.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: For most people,
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: it could look like realizing that You've been making an assumption or living under
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: an assumption that isn't completely true.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: You know, you've held a belief, a false narrative that isn't exactly true.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: Or maybe it could look like finally seeing a situation from someone else's side, right?
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: But again,
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: because this is Scorpio,
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: I got to be honest here, what clicks might not feel super comfortable with?
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: It could be that there's a motive that you didn't really want to see.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe your motive or someone else's motive.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: It could be a pattern you keep repeating.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: That you didn't want to take a look at what the real reason for that pattern was.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: It could be finally seeing the real reason you've been avoiding something even.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have to be about something you've been doing.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: It could be about something you haven't been doing and really now understanding why.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: One thing I would recommend for sure that people watch out for here is that Mercury
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: and Scorpio can turn into overthinking.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: Or even rumination.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: It can be really hard with this energy to stop a mental loop with this kind of energy.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: So It can look like reading hidden meaning into everything or replaying
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: that one person's text message over and over or repeating that one thing
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: in your head that somebody said to you and you're repeating it in your mind 40 times
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: to try and figure out what they really meant or what's really going on or what
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: the subtext was, right?
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: So we would want to be able to identify here the difference between And here's the difference.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: It's going to feel like a light switching on and it provides more clarity, right?
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: But spiraling,
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: on the other hand, can feel like going around in circles and you feel less clarity.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: And it does help to know which one you're in, so pay attention here.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Does a particular thought that you're having make you feel more clear and And does
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: that get accompanied by a sense of peace,
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: even if there's some discomfort attached to it?
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: Or does it create more confusion?
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: And if it creates more confusion, you may have veered off into the shadow side of this sign.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: What do you do with all of this?
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: Pay attention to what makes sense around this time and write it down, okay?
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: But don't feel like you have to act on it right away.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: These realizations tend to keep unfolding through the rest of the retrograde and
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: then even after Mercury goes direct.
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: So we want to think of this more as a seed that gets planted, right?
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Rather than the end result.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: Mercury will still be retrograde,
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: so we don't necessarily want to Okay,
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: on November 9th, we have a new moon at approximately 17 degrees of Scorpio.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: And compared with some of
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: the more heavily aspected new moons we've experienced this year,
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: this one's relatively quiet.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: There are not a lot of very tight major planetary aspects to the sun and the moon with this one.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: But that doesn't mean that the broader astrological environment is especially quiet either.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: We still have Mercury and Venus retrograde and Mars,
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: the traditional ruler of this new moon,
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: is moving through Leo toward a conjunction with Jupiter.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: Now Mars and Jupiter are also near the south node with both planets,
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: of course that means they're opposing the north node
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: in Aquarius around this period too.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: So Even though the new moon itself isn't forming a particularly tight set
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: of aspects, its ruler is part of an increasingly active configuration here.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: And I do think this gives us something interesting to think about.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: New moons,
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: of course,
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: symbolize beginnings, intention setting, and the start of a new lunar cycle.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: But this one...
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: is occurring while two planets are still retrograde.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: So it's possible that some of the intentions we would want
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: to consider setting could be based on what we've been learning
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: through this whole process of review.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: I think that would work very nicely this month to set those kinds of intentions.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: So maybe we're beginning to finally understand at this point,
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: what we want to change in our relationships or what we want to change
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: in our financial lives or the ways we approach trust and vulnerability.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: And with Mars approaching Jupiter and Leo,
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: there could be this growing emphasis on taking action or feeling
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: a little more confident or expressing that more.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: The south node connection also adds a symbolic layer here.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: The south node is associated with patterns that are familiar to us, right?
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: Things that we're used to, accustomed to, but also qualities that we may need to release.
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: So one thing we may be looking at here is,
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: whether we're preparing to move forward or In a new way,
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: or whether we're simply repeating patterns with renewed enthusiasm.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: You know, Jupiter is kind of coming in to bring all this optimism and all this enthusiasm.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: And hopefully, right,
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: if we've been sort of like growing through this,
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: this retrograde period here,
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: we are like ready to move forward with a new perspective rather than simply Taking
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: that boost of confidence and moving forward again with the same old patterns.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: Now, by the way,
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: if you'd like to explore this new moon more personally,
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: I'll be hosting my next new moon gathering on November 4th.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: That's before the new moon itself, not on the same day.
- 35:40SPEAKER_00: But we'll take a closer look at the new moon chart,
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: talk about how it might interact with our own natal charts,
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: and spend some time reflecting on the themes of this lunar cycle.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: You can find the registration link for that in the show notes if you'd like to join us.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: Okay, on November 10th, we have Venus sextiling Mars.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: Okay, as we move into the middle of November, we begin to see a shift here.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: We go from having a lot of very intense,
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: heavy aspects that have been occurring over the weeks before,
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: right, to, dare I say, lighter ones.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: So again, on November 10th, retrograde Venus in Libra forms a sextile to Mars in Leo.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: And, you know,
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: this is potentially a really constructive aspect between two planets
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: that represent different but complementary parts of our experience.
- 36:39SPEAKER_00: Venus describes what we value, what attracts us, what we want.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: And how we relate to others.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: While Mars describes what motivates us, what we actually pursue, and how we assert ourselves.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: And when these planets form a harmonious aspect,
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: which this is,
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: there can be an opportunity for us to bring our desires and our actions
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: into greater alignment.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: Venus in Libra is concerned with connection, balance, and cooperation.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: Mars in Leo wants to express itself.
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: It wants to create things.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: It wants to act with confidence.
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: So we may begin to find new ways here to honor both our own needs and the needs
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: of others moving forward.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: Or maybe we will start to see how we can act
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: on something we've been reconsidering throughout this retrograde.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: And then just a few days later,
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: we reach what I think is one of the most crazy,
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: incredible moments of the season, at least astrologically.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: On November 13th, Both Mercury and Venus station direct on the same day.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: The same day.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: Mercury stations direct at around 5 degrees of Scorpio and Venus stations direct
- 38:03SPEAKER_00: at approximately 23 degrees of Libra.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: These stations occur less than 9 hours apart.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: This is crazy.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: Now, Mercury retrograde happens several times a year.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: But Venus only retrogrades approximately once every 18 months,
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: so having these two planets stationed direct on the very same day is super unusual.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: And symbolically,
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: This is really meaningful given how closely these two retrograde stories have been
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: intertwined.
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: For weeks now,
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: Venus has been asking us to reconsider our relationships and our values
- 38:45SPEAKER_00: and our desires,
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: while Mercury has been asking us to reconsider our thoughts,
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: our assumptions, and things like that.
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: And now both planets will begin moving forward again At almost the same time.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: It's as though two different parts of our experience have been undergoing a process
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: of review, and now they're beginning to move forward together in unison.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: Maybe we've been reconsidering what we want from a relationship,
- 39:17SPEAKER_00: for example, while also learning how to communicate those needs more clearly.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: Or maybe we've been re-examining our relationship with money
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: while also questioning some of the beliefs we've held about financial security
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: or our own worth.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: Or maybe we've been trying to understand some particular situation that has challenged money.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: And now we may be approaching some of these areas of life with
- 39:52SPEAKER_00: a different understanding of them.
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: I want to emphasize, though,
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: that a planet stationing direct does not necessarily mean
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: that everything suddenly resolves, right?
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: And in fact,
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: when a planet stations,
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: it's Apparent movement through the zodiac is extremely slow at first, right?
- 40:11SPEAKER_00: It takes a while to kind of bring itself up to, you know, a more typical speed again.
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: So we may still need some time to process what we've learned,
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: to make some choices and begin implementing the changes we want to make.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: And both Mercury and Venus will remain in their post-retrograde shadow periods for a
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: while longer.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: So we're not completely out of the woods yet,
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: but this is the beginning of lighter energy, certainly.
- 40:42SPEAKER_00: If you're new to astrology,
- 40:44SPEAKER_00: the post- Retrograde shadow is the period when a planet moves forward through
- 40:49SPEAKER_00: the degrees it previously traveled while retrograde.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: It's another opportunity to revisit that territory,
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: but this time we're doing it from a different perspective and potentially taking,
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: you know, different courses of action.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: So again,
- 41:07SPEAKER_00: November 13th doesn't necessarily represent the end of this whole cycle,
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: but it is a change in direction.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: And after so much emphasis on looking backward and reconsidering and reflecting
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: and reevaluating, I think this is a particularly significant moment of the season.
- 41:27SPEAKER_00: You might want to reflect on what you've been learning since Venus firsthand.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: Stationed retrograde in early October, right?
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: You can take a look back at this point and think about what has changed for you,
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: what you understand differently by this point.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: Are there or have there been conversations that you now feel better prepared to have
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: because you're more clear on something?
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: Are there decisions that you're beginning to feel more confident about
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: or steps you know you need to take that you feel more confident about, right?
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: And perhaps,
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: maybe more importantly,
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: are there patterns you're now able to recognize
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: that you weren't even fully conscious of before or that you
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: at least didn't understand in the same way?
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: But again, the energy should start to feel at least a bit lighter around this time.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: Just a few days after Mercury and Venus station direct,
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: we have another pretty significant planetary event.
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: On November 16th, Mars forms an exact conjunction with Jupiter at approximately 20%.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: 126 degrees of Leo,
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: and this is going to be quite a change in tone from much
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: of what we've been discussing up until now.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: Mars, as I've said before,
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: represents our drive,
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: our actions, our sense of courage and initiative, and how we pursue what we want.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: Jupiter, on the other hand, is associated with our expansion, our growth.
- 43:03SPEAKER_00: It's associated with opportunity.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: It's associated with confidence and our sense of possibility for our lives.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: And so when these two planets come together,
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: there can be this tremendous amount of enthusiasm and motivation.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: We might feel inspired to take action.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: We might feel like we really want to pursue an opportunity or move forward
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: with something we've been considering,
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: and we're not just wanting to sit idle on it anymore.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: There's,
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: an added emphasis on creativity or self-expression,
- 43:40SPEAKER_00: also confidence,
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: leadership,
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: the desire to be seen and recognized for one's contributions or place in the world,
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: right?
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: And so after what has felt like such a long time of heavy retrograde reflection...
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: This could feel so much more dynamic and energetic
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: than what we have been experiencing for weeks, right?
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: This is optimistic.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: This is energy that wants to go big.
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: It wants to move forward, preferably with speed.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: But as always, there's always more than one way a planetary combination can express itself.
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: Mars and Jupiter can be enthusiastic and courageous and optimistic.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: But together they can also be impulsive or excessive or maybe overly confident.
- 44:29SPEAKER_00: That's the one I think I'd watch out for most is maybe overconfidence.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: Jupiter has this way of magnifying whatever it touches.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: And when it's magnifying Mars,
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: we may find that we just feel like we need to act really quickly or maybe take
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: on too much and take on more than we can realistically manage.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: Or we might get impulsive and just act Without thinking things through, right?
- 44:56SPEAKER_00: And remember that this conjunction is taking place near the South Node in Leo 2,
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: so there may be something worth considering around what the motivations are
- 45:08SPEAKER_00: behind our actions.
- 45:09SPEAKER_00: Again, are we acting from a place of genuine confidence or inspiration?
- 45:15SPEAKER_00: Or are we driven by pride or, you know, a desire for validation?
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: Or are we relying on familiar habits that may not be serving us?
- 45:27SPEAKER_00: So this is where I think the earlier retrograde work becomes more relevant
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: because ideally we're not simply just rushing forward with the same assumptions
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: and patterns we had before.
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: We're moving forward hopefully with a little more awareness of ourselves.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: And this energy will continue to build.
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: On November 18th, the Sun in Scorpio will square Jupiter in Leo.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: Then on November 19th, the Sun squares Mars.
- 45:58SPEAKER_00: So now we're dealing with fixed sign squares involving the Scorpio Sun and
- 46:04SPEAKER_00: the Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Leo.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: Fixed sign energy can be really determined, right?
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: It can help us remain committed and persistent and focused on what matters,
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: but it can also get really stubborn and resistant to change or create.
- 46:25SPEAKER_00: Scorpio and Leo are both pretty strong-willed signs,
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: but they do express themselves differently.
- 46:33SPEAKER_00: Scorpio tends to be private, emotionally intense, with a lot of depth.
- 46:39SPEAKER_00: Leo is more expressive,
- 46:40SPEAKER_00: more visible, more out there, and interested in creative self-expression.
- 46:47SPEAKER_00: Scorpio can be magnetic, alluring energy, but Leo is much more shiny and sparkly.
- 46:53SPEAKER_00: So these squares could bring some tension between what we feel internally
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: and what we're trying to actually express externally or accomplish externally.
- 47:06SPEAKER_00: It kind of reminds me of when you feel strongly about something
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: but you aren't really sure how to say it or what to do about it.
- 47:15SPEAKER_00: You know,
- 47:15SPEAKER_00: maybe we're eager to move forward,
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: but there are emotional considerations that we haven't fully addressed.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: And this is where if there has been any over-optimism around
- 47:27SPEAKER_00: that Mars-Jupiter square,
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: this is where we could run up against some real world limitations now.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: And again, these aren't necessarily negative aspects.
- 47:36SPEAKER_00: Squares can be motivating.
- 47:37SPEAKER_00: They create friction and And then that friction can also push us to make changes
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: or take real action.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: So I kind of see this as more of a chance to self-correct or adjust any place
- 47:52SPEAKER_00: where we may have jumped ahead too quickly in the days prior.
- 47:56SPEAKER_00: And finally, on November 22nd, Sun leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: And with that,
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: we move from the deep,
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: investigative waters of Scorpio into the more expansive,
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: adventure-some, exploratory territory of Sagittarius.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: And wow, are we all going to welcome Sagittarius season this year, I suspect.
- 48:24SPEAKER_00: Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter and it's associated with learning,
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: discovery,
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: perspective, meaning making, and our desire to understand the bigger picture.
- 48:38SPEAKER_00: It's also a sign that just really loves to have a lot of fun.
- 48:43SPEAKER_00: So after a season that has asked us to go so deep all the time
- 48:48SPEAKER_00: and just keep looking forward,
- 48:51SPEAKER_00: Deeply into ourselves and do all this kind of emotional
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: and psychological heavy lifting,
- 48:58SPEAKER_00: Sagittarius season arrives to help us lighten and start feeling optimistic about
- 49:03SPEAKER_00: the future and what's possible for us now that we've done all that hard work.
- 49:09SPEAKER_00: Okay, if you are a paid subscriber to my Substack,
- 49:12SPEAKER_00: your rising sign forecast will come next once Scorpio season arrives.
- 49:17SPEAKER_00: For all of us, though, you might want to look at the houses where you have Scorpios.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: Scorpio, Libra, Leo, Taurus,
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: and Aquarius because these are the signs where most of
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: the activity is taking place this month and you'll want to see
- 49:35SPEAKER_00: whether you have any natal planets,
- 49:37SPEAKER_00: angles, or important points near the degrees we've been discussing.
- 49:42SPEAKER_00: Those can offer some clues about which areas
- 49:45SPEAKER_00: of your life may be especially activated for you over the next few weeks.
- 49:49SPEAKER_00: And if you've been following along with the Venus retrograde field notes,
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: I'd encourage you to continue paying attention to the themes
- 49:57SPEAKER_00: that have been coming up since early October.
- 50:00SPEAKER_00: You may find that some of the things you're exploring now have begun
- 50:06SPEAKER_00: to make more sense as the season unfolds.
- 50:10SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's all we have for today, everyone.
- 50:13SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for joining me today.
- 50:16SPEAKER_00: Happy Scorpio season.
- 50:18SPEAKER_00: Everybody take good care and I will see you next time.
