Janet - I currently go to the parish near my house. I have a hard time going to confession there. I find myself going somewhere else because I'm embarrassed and they might judge me since I know the priest.

Theresa - Going to confession when you have mortal sins. Confessing the same things over and over. My experience, it gives you the grace to not do that anymore. Going to confession gives me that grace. Don't wait until it's mortal sin.
