- 0:00Speaker 1: The Woody Shield.
- 0:04Speaker 2: New Year and uh, we don't like to call them resolutions.
- 0:08Speaker 1: We'd like to call them goals, you know, just like
- 0:10Speaker 1: you have a you know, an objective, an objective for
- 0:14Speaker 1: the year, and I don't even know necessarily like what
- 0:19Speaker 1: what that would because most people would they say nine
- 0:21Speaker 1: within nine days, people were already And one of the
- 0:26Speaker 1: things I saw that how to make your New Year's
- 0:28Speaker 1: resolution last longer? They say, just lower your standards, but
- 0:32Speaker 1: be specific, like you know, think of like small wins,
- 0:34Speaker 1: which is what I did a couple three years ago.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I forget how long.
- 0:38Speaker 3: You were very vague about it.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah, well no, because my my goal of resolution for
- 0:42Speaker 1: that year was be better better, and so that could
- 0:44Speaker 1: just be you know, it is seven cents better than
- 0:47Speaker 1: five cents? Yeah, seven cents like something super awesome. No,
- 0:52Speaker 1: but it's better than five. So and it was those
- 0:55Speaker 1: little wins, and I really felt like that. I think
- 0:59Speaker 1: that helped, you know, just because the way you approach it, right,
- 1:02Speaker 1: like when you're trying to lose a bunch of weight,
- 1:03Speaker 1: like if you I'm losing forty pounds and after like
- 1:06Speaker 1: two months of it, you you know, you've only lost
- 1:08Speaker 1: six pounds. You've lost a ten pounds. You're like, dude,
- 1:13Speaker 1: ten you're ten pounds lighter than what you were two
- 1:17Speaker 1: months ago. Take the wind, you're you're on your way
- 1:20Speaker 1: to forty. So that yeah, just you know, lower your standards.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yeah. And they say like tie habits to your routine,
- 1:27Speaker 2: not your motivation.
- 1:28Speaker 5: Yeah, like every day I'm going to do ab.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yeah, like plan for things to go wrong. Well, they'll
- 1:33Speaker 2: be setbacks.
- 1:33Speaker 1: They they talk about all you're trying to eat better
- 1:37Speaker 1: and you have like a day where it's like all
- 1:39Speaker 1: of a sudden, Greg's eating the Costco cinnamon rolls. Yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 1: well guess what two weeks before that he was having
- 1:45Speaker 1: his half a cup of half a sweet potato. So, dude,
- 1:50Speaker 1: for three weeks you did that. You had one day
- 1:52Speaker 1: three weeks to one day. Like it's not the other word.
- 1:54Speaker 1: So those little things you could do to mind of yourself.
- 1:57Speaker 1: One thing I did here I thought was great. Charlotte
- 2:01Speaker 1: and the God had been talking about it. I hit
- 2:03Speaker 1: him up and was talking to him about that too,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and it's like, I don't get into that whole year
- 2:07Speaker 1: of the whatever. You know, it was the year of
- 2:09Speaker 1: the Snake. I guess last year and now it's the
- 2:11Speaker 1: year of the Horse. But as far as what it represented,
- 2:13Speaker 1: for whatever reason, it kind of like spoke to me. Yeah,
- 2:16Speaker 1: and I don't believe in the mercury retrograde, you know,
- 2:19Speaker 1: zodiac kind of stuff, but it is weird when things
- 2:22Speaker 1: kind of hit you the right way. And so the
- 2:25Speaker 1: year of the Snake, it was the end of things
- 2:27Speaker 1: so that new beginnings can start, like a snake sheds
- 2:30Speaker 1: its skin. You like the people that you left behind,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you left behind for a reason. There's no need to
- 2:36Speaker 1: carry them into the next year. Things that you it
- 2:40Speaker 1: was a year of completion, like you, you finished out things,
- 2:44Speaker 1: things got got clarity or things resolved.
- 2:47Speaker 2: And so now the.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Year of the Horse is where you just move forward.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It's a year of creativity and year of you know,
- 2:53Speaker 1: accomplishment and growth. Because I spent all this other time
- 2:57Speaker 1: and I really, for whatever reason, that just it stood
- 2:59Speaker 1: out to me.
- 3:00Speaker 2: So now you're going to do yoga later, hot goat yoga? Yeah?
- 3:06Speaker 1: But yeah, any uh, what's greg Do you have a
- 3:10Speaker 1: goal that again you don't have to call it a resolution?
- 3:13Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because I'm not a big believer in just
- 3:15Speaker 3: because you flipped the page of a calendar like things
- 3:17Speaker 3: are going to change.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Remember we went through a week at the end of
- 3:21Speaker 1: last year. We want to see if we actually didn't
- 3:23Speaker 1: yeah it down.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I am so uh.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I have two that I think are unattainable for me personally,
- 3:29Speaker 3: just completely just blind aspiration to do worry less.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Okay, that's be better, right, worry less.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Worry less does have to we don't worry at all,
- 3:42Speaker 1: just worry less, okay.
- 3:45Speaker 3: So not not make it, don't worry, just worry less
- 3:48Speaker 3: worry okay, worry.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Lesscause you do. The goal is not worried. Don't worry
- 3:51Speaker 2: at all, that's true. Okay.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Worry less and be less shy. These are two things
- 3:55Speaker 3: I think are unattainable for me really uh. And then
- 3:57Speaker 3: the two that are attainable for me be less pass racky,
- 4:00Speaker 3: uh pack ratty you think you are? Oh yeah, like
- 4:04Speaker 3: I started just yesterday by going through my underwear drawer
- 4:08Speaker 3: and getting rid of underwear that I find uncomfortable. I'm like,
- 4:11Speaker 3: I don't wear this. I hold on to it, thinking well,
- 4:14Speaker 3: some day this underwear, No, you don't throw it away? Actually,
- 4:18Speaker 3: and then drink more water. Those are my two attainable ones.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Too attainable, too unattainable. I'm gonna try less men less.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Mine is just I really honed in on this and
- 4:30Speaker 4: I got really really good at it. But I think
- 4:33Speaker 4: the actual time management I want like this, the free
- 4:38Speaker 4: time is more learning about things that I'm actually into,
- 4:45Speaker 4: you know, getting it, uh.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Me, spend more time on your interests and passions.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Yeah, but learning like trying to like master it. Like Okay,
- 4:53Speaker 4: something super boring and uh is color grading of video?
- 4:59Speaker 4: So like color grading a video? Okay, so making the
- 5:03Speaker 4: so like I know how to edit videos, sure, right,
- 5:05Speaker 4: but like making them look more cinematic and like the
- 5:09Speaker 4: actual like color and everything the tones, very very boring stuff.
- 5:13Speaker 4: But like that's just an example of like things that
- 5:16Speaker 4: I'm really into, like trying to master them and make.
- 5:19Speaker 5: So fine tune those skills.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah, not just like oh I know how to do
- 5:22Speaker 4: a little bit of this, a little I know how
- 5:24Speaker 4: to do like audio, audio editing, stuff like that, but
- 5:26Speaker 4: how can I take that into a next level make
- 5:29Speaker 4: it better? You know, the overall, like making making things
- 5:34Speaker 4: the quality much much better.
- 5:36Speaker 1: It's more for audio and video though, like like.
- 5:40Speaker 4: On all levels, on anything anything that I'm into, all right, just.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Becoming better at it. Do you write that down? I
- 5:46Speaker 2: sud it, Okay, Gina.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Mine are very specific this is this is nothing vague
- 5:51Speaker 6: about them, so you can definitely hold me to them.
- 5:53Speaker 6: One is it was going to be once a month.
- 5:55Speaker 6: I don't know if I can do it. So I
- 5:57Speaker 6: just said, spend more time at the gun range.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Need to be there more. Talk about fine tuning. I've
- 6:04Speaker 5: you know, I've been for the.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Purpose of what just because you enjoy it. I do
- 6:07Speaker 4: enjoy it, and you have some kind of like warrior paranormal.
- 6:10Speaker 6: No, I do enjoy it, and it's one of those
- 6:12Speaker 6: things I've I've been a gun owner for many years
- 6:14Speaker 6: and I really just sort of fallen out of out
- 6:17Speaker 6: of practice.
- 6:18Speaker 7: You know.
- 6:18Speaker 6: Last year I went into a three hour brush up,
- 6:20Speaker 6: and I just need to be I just want to
- 6:22Speaker 6: I just want to be more comfortable. I want to
- 6:24Speaker 6: be just ready at all times in terms of like, hey,
- 6:27Speaker 6: you want to go to the gun drain.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Oh yeah, but I should probably took a class for it.
- 6:30Speaker 6: Like no, I want to be there on a regular
- 6:32Speaker 6: basis and doing it great.
- 6:36Speaker 4: I have Yeah, all bring our.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Guns, because I'm saying I own guns.
- 6:45Speaker 5: I would love for you guys to be part of
- 6:48Speaker 5: my goals.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Also, this is aalk empire.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I got a gun.
- 6:58Speaker 8: He got a gun.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Yeah, he got a gun.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Yes, everybody got guns.
- 7:06Speaker 5: So please do come with me.
- 7:07Speaker 6: Secondly, I've always wanted to do this. I always look
- 7:10Speaker 6: into this, I get frustrated and I give up. This
- 7:13Speaker 6: is the year I finally learn how to do credit
- 7:17Speaker 6: card points and like go on a vacation like you
- 7:21Speaker 6: hear so.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Many people like I went on vacation.
- 7:23Speaker 5: I use my points. What does that mean? How did
- 7:26Speaker 5: you do that?
- 7:26Speaker 4: Well for every dollar that you spend if you have
- 7:29Speaker 4: a rewards.
- 7:30Speaker 5: Car, I thought I did, but nothing ever comes of it.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Well you get because you got to hone in on
- 7:34Speaker 4: just one car, like you put everything on one very
- 7:37Speaker 4: single dollar.
- 7:39Speaker 6: I feel like I've also had cards in the past
- 7:41Speaker 6: that are like, you know, American Airlines, and it's like, well,
- 7:44Speaker 6: where are my miles?
- 7:46Speaker 2: I want? You want to do like more of that
- 7:47Speaker 2: you can apply to different things.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Okay, So I'm gonna need your help because I need to.
- 7:51Speaker 6: I want a vacation on points whatever that means.
- 7:56Speaker 4: The platinum, Amex everything. Okay, Yeah, I put everything.
- 8:01Speaker 1: On there and at the end of the month, I
- 8:03Speaker 1: I mean from groceries, to gas to everything.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Uh.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And then at the end of the month, and as
- 8:08Speaker 1: opposed to like paying on a debit card or whatever,
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm just disciplined about the you know, the spend on it,
- 8:12Speaker 1: and then you just pay it, okay, and you get
- 8:15Speaker 1: like a dollar. Sometimes it's multiple points per dollar depending
- 8:18Speaker 1: on the different categories or this.
- 8:20Speaker 4: And then at the end of the year you have
- 8:22Speaker 4: x number of points.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Those points can then be turned into redemption four and
- 8:25Speaker 1: you can go right on their website for the rewards
- 8:27Speaker 1: travel or you know for yeah, cash people different flights,
- 8:33Speaker 1: different different different items.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Okay. So I want to master you want.
- 8:38Speaker 2: To do like an instant coffee whatever they call those things.
- 8:41Speaker 5: I want a vacation on point.
- 8:42Speaker 4: My buddy's machine at the end of the year every
- 8:45Speaker 4: year does like this top tier vacation afful points. He
- 8:50Speaker 4: uses a card that's a Hilton card. Okay, every dollar,
- 8:54Speaker 4: every penny he spends.
- 8:55Speaker 2: He just uses the Hilton card.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Yeah, he does, like a huge rip him and his
- 9:00Speaker 4: whole family.
- 9:01Speaker 7: There's another one too that was just talking about over
- 9:03Speaker 7: the break, which was the Chase Sapphire car. I heard
- 9:06Speaker 7: of people using that one to pay for isn't it.
- 9:09Speaker 4: But I don't know, I've got that. It's not that's free.
- 9:13Speaker 4: There's like a you was probably talking about the MX Platinum,
- 9:16Speaker 4: which that's what Woodie and I use a lot, and
- 9:18Speaker 4: it does have a huge annual fee, but the middle
- 9:21Speaker 4: fee you get back in like other ways, like you
- 9:24Speaker 4: get the clear pass or the credit pocket, or you
- 9:28Speaker 4: get three hundred dollars in Rezie credits.
- 9:31Speaker 2: And like that.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I like, so if you just pay attention to, like
- 9:34Speaker 1: you find a couple of different things and offsets that
- 9:36Speaker 1: cast It's like the Costco membership where you can get
- 9:39Speaker 1: that executive Costco membership. It's like one hundred and thirty
- 9:42Speaker 1: five bucks, but they basically tell you that you're guaranteed
- 9:45Speaker 1: to get one hundred and thirty five dollars worth of
- 9:47Speaker 1: like whether it's that you know, cash back then they
- 9:49Speaker 1: used to do, or it basically bounces out.
- 9:52Speaker 4: I'm excited that you. The annual fee will shock you
- 9:55Speaker 4: at first, but if you actually pay attention is read it,
- 9:58Speaker 4: you will get all your money.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Okay, well that's great, and then I have one more.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Uh some of you may know what I got as
- 10:04Speaker 6: a gift for my Christmas present. My hant Christmas pressure
- 10:07Speaker 6: from my husband.
- 10:08Speaker 5: And I was really excited about it. He was pretty
- 10:10Speaker 5: bummed to give it to me, but he knew I
- 10:12Speaker 5: wanted it. We are going to.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Take couples like ballroom salsa dance lessons of.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Which I begged. So bummed about it.
- 10:20Speaker 6: I I do tend to like not finish what I started.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I got sucked into that social media stuff and I'm like,
- 10:27Speaker 3: what was it? What? And Mario was wondering tone he said,
- 10:29Speaker 3: just text her and asked her. I said, no, I'm
- 10:31Speaker 3: gonna wait till the bit revealed. And then when I
- 10:33Speaker 3: found out that the same thing.
- 10:35Speaker 6: So many people are so bummed, but I, well, he's
- 10:41Speaker 6: like Gina, after many years of you asking, let's just
- 10:44Speaker 6: do it, clearly, but I want to do all eight
- 10:47Speaker 6: classes because we usually just peter out on these.
- 10:49Speaker 4: So Greg, the more I've gotten to know and spend
- 10:52Speaker 4: time with Andy, right, all the stuff that we give
- 10:56Speaker 4: Gina crap for is really Andy's doing.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I thought she was joking about that or just kind
- 11:02Speaker 2: of like you know how people.
- 11:05Speaker 5: The kids firsthand.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, he's the one. He's the one that dragged
- 11:09Speaker 1: them the wicked that's right. He's the one who's Megan
- 11:12Speaker 1: in the musicals. He's the one that Mega wants to do.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Thet by like bow guarding the TV and watching sports
- 11:19Speaker 6: that I can't follow. But yeah, so we're going to
- 11:22Speaker 6: do that now watch And so I want to complete
- 11:29Speaker 6: all eight classes. I want to take a vacation on points,
- 11:31Speaker 6: and I want to spend more time at the gun range.
- 11:33Speaker 9: All right, uh sea Mass, Well, I'm still gonna work
- 11:36Speaker 9: on retiring, so that's still in motion every day.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I think everybody's working on that right, Like.
- 11:40Speaker 9: I'm actively actively, like I'm not going to be doing this,
- 11:42Speaker 9: hopefully for too much longer.
- 11:44Speaker 4: But this horrible thing.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:46Speaker 4: But on top of that, I think I would really
- 11:48Speaker 4: like to get married.
- 11:51Speaker 5: It's like a social experiment.
- 11:52Speaker 4: No no, no, I'm not talking about like a Mallard or bride.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Or anything that was going to be next week to Yuki, that's.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Not off the table. But uh, I think about that time.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Are you on your theo von Because that's has been
- 12:03Speaker 4: like his thing the whole year. I did not know that. Yeah,
- 12:05Speaker 4: he's like been talking on his podcast that he's like,
- 12:08Speaker 4: you know what, I really want to get married and
- 12:11Speaker 4: probably have a kid. But he's currently he's currently not
- 12:16Speaker 4: dating anybody, but for normal people, that seems like a
- 12:18Speaker 4: really reasonable thing, Like coming from Sea Bass, I'm intrigued, yea, yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 4: because I kind of feel like there's there's a bit
- 12:24Speaker 4: in here something.
- 12:24Speaker 6: And you didn't say I want to fall in love
- 12:26Speaker 6: and get married, you just want to get married.
- 12:27Speaker 9: Well specific, I'm including all the normal stuff with it.
- 12:32Speaker 9: I don't know if I get where where does this
- 12:33Speaker 9: come from?
- 12:34Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 12:34Speaker 9: I was about to say, I don't know, Like remember
- 12:35Speaker 9: how Greg got baby fever a year or two ago.
- 12:38Speaker 4: I don't know if I got that. Are you feel lonely?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Wait?
- 12:43Speaker 4: Are kids on the list with the marriage? Oh?
- 12:45Speaker 2: The whole thing?
- 12:46Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 12:46Speaker 6: Okay, okay, yeah, the whole kid And I kind of
- 12:49Speaker 6: already did that one.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Well, yeah, that's that's gonna be. Yeah, when do you
- 12:52Speaker 4: bring that?
- 12:53Speaker 5: Because you're what kind of.
- 12:58Speaker 8: Honestly, I think that's well I've had I've had a
- 13:01Speaker 8: couple of close.
- 13:01Speaker 9: Calls, but then she had. First off, Morgan, you bring
- 13:04Speaker 9: up a good point. She has to be spontaneous, interesting.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Smart are probably why. That's probably why it's taken me
- 13:09Speaker 4: so long.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Are you currently in a relationship without ask any more questions,
- 13:13Speaker 1: just no, no, no, okay, can I ask one other questions?
- 13:16Speaker 1: So one of the other ones that you've gotten close to?
- 13:19Speaker 1: How far into the relationship do you mentioned that you
- 13:21Speaker 1: have like these donort kids.
- 13:23Speaker 9: Well, that's all been built well except for college, it's
- 13:26Speaker 9: all been built into the cake because it's all public knowledge.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, right.
- 13:29Speaker 9: I mean there have been some girls I've definitely dated
- 13:31Speaker 9: who didn't know. But that's different obviously.
- 13:35Speaker 1: When you say the getting married in the calendar year
- 13:38Speaker 1: twenty twenty sixth.
- 13:39Speaker 9: Or at least get it on the books, like, but
- 13:42Speaker 9: you're not in a relationship, correct, and you want to
- 13:45Speaker 9: at least be engaged the goal or whatever that you're open.
- 13:50Speaker 2: You want to be engaged by the end of twenty
- 13:52Speaker 2: three close? Right, I think what's the quest?
- 13:53Speaker 4: Was that let's help with this the year of Yes
- 13:55Speaker 4: or whatever it was, Yes, lady, some dumb lady did that.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Oh they have the Yes movie?
- 13:59Speaker 1: They had?
- 13:59Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:01Speaker 4: I want to I want like, I want to take
- 14:02Speaker 4: it at face value.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I want to take it as sincere. But I can't.
- 14:07Speaker 4: How good this is the boy that Cried Wolf kind
- 14:10Speaker 4: of thing. Right, It's like it's his own fault. It's
- 14:12Speaker 4: his own fault that I feel this way is fishing
- 14:14Speaker 4: for some DM action right now. You want to get flooded?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't want.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I don't want to a woman who just it works
- 14:26Speaker 4: for dumbass tyler. I'm sure it could work for you.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Is that how he gets ladies?
- 14:30Speaker 3: But honestly, I don't buy it. Would it be a
- 14:33Speaker 3: conventional marriage, like you would live together, share a bed,
- 14:37Speaker 3: share a life talking. I could see you getting married
- 14:40Speaker 3: and then having a separate home or something.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Good question, have you cohabitated with a significant other before?
- 14:46Speaker 5: Oh?
- 14:46Speaker 4: Wow?
- 14:47Speaker 2: How long?
- 14:47Speaker 4: That last?
- 14:49Speaker 2: Three four months?
- 14:50Speaker 4: She was ad.
- 14:56Speaker 2: She kind of moved herself. She kind of moved herself.
- 14:59Speaker 2: So od oh no, I've covered and hit it twice.
- 15:02Speaker 9: There was that meday the person who knows about this,
- 15:04Speaker 9: this is a super weird point in my life where
- 15:07Speaker 9: I lived with a woman for about a for about
- 15:11Speaker 9: a year, this one, simply, this is nobody you've ever met.
- 15:16Speaker 9: Well before I met all you guys, simply because I
- 15:19Speaker 9: was so like I was living in my van basically,
- 15:21Speaker 9: and we were friends at friend Lee and we hooked
- 15:23Speaker 9: up a bunch, but I didn't want to like date
- 15:26Speaker 9: her for per se, and then we stopped hooking up
- 15:29Speaker 9: because I just didn't want to have sex with her
- 15:30Speaker 9: for whatever reason.
- 15:30Speaker 4: But you're still there. But I was still like literally
- 15:32Speaker 4: sleeping in the bed next to her and randomly yeah randomly, yeah, yeah, randomly.
- 15:37Speaker 4: I had a friend that was friends with this woman.
- 15:40Speaker 4: I didn't know until after Seabast moved out that this
- 15:43Speaker 4: was even happening.
- 15:44Speaker 9: And this was again, fifteen years ago. I was a hobosexual.
- 15:49Speaker 2: The money I do not I'm.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So crazy sorry to everybody else, but like I know,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I'll speak to great because like I feel like he
- 15:57Speaker 1: would understand them, like I want to. Like when when
- 16:00Speaker 1: he says that I look at him because I do.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I do like sea baths as a person, like like
- 16:05Speaker 1: he's weird and everything else.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that doesn't affect me whatever. You know, he has
- 16:08Speaker 2: his own thing. It's fine.
- 16:10Speaker 8: Uh.
- 16:10Speaker 1: But like he says that, I go, like in my
- 16:12Speaker 1: in my mind, I go, oh, babe, right, Like it's
- 16:15Speaker 1: it's like I want I want happiness for him and
- 16:18Speaker 1: I want you honestly, I honestly, like I honestly feel.
- 16:22Speaker 2: That way quote normal life.
- 16:23Speaker 1: But I feel like I'm being suckered if I feel
- 16:25Speaker 1: if I if I allow that to be my reaction,
- 16:28Speaker 1: I allow myself to go like you, and then it
- 16:31Speaker 1: turns out to be like some big elaborate long play
- 16:34Speaker 1: project or whatever he's doing, promise it.
- 16:37Speaker 3: I don't feel like an idiot. What do they call
- 16:39Speaker 3: that method acting? I'm getting a method acting sensation from it, the.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Guy who played Lincoln.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But the Daniel lewis.
- 16:49Speaker 5: On the spectrum?
- 16:50Speaker 4: Is that something you do, you do good?
- 16:53Speaker 5: Clean up the spectrum?
- 16:54Speaker 4: I don't think.
- 16:55Speaker 9: I don't think I'm officially on the spectrum man, And
- 16:58Speaker 9: I don't think it has to be a little bit
- 16:59Speaker 9: more on this. Yeah, And I think Greg, perhaps what
- 17:02Speaker 9: you're what you're getting, what you and what you're getting, Greg,
- 17:04Speaker 9: is you're getting somebody who's not human trying to be human.
- 17:08Speaker 4: But I'm doing it for real.
- 17:09Speaker 3: But I get that feeling when you have a relative
- 17:12Speaker 3: who's like a hardcore addict and they this time they're
- 17:15Speaker 3: going to be clean, it's going to be different, feel good,
- 17:18Speaker 3: And then it doesn't. And then you're like, I know
- 17:20Speaker 3: it wouldn't.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Look.
- 17:21Speaker 2: People do change.
- 17:22Speaker 1: People do evolve, right like they you know, they get
- 17:24Speaker 1: older and things, you know, they're different than they were
- 17:26Speaker 1: a handful of years ago.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Like, I understand that, and I can appreciate it the time.
- 17:30Speaker 3: I can't change it.
- 17:31Speaker 2: But I've never said I've.
- 17:32Speaker 9: Never in the past said I this is like my
- 17:34Speaker 9: fifteenth time going to rehab. I've never tried to do
- 17:36Speaker 9: this before.
- 17:36Speaker 3: It's the feeling I'm getting, getting, the feeling of when
- 17:39Speaker 3: you have that hardcore addict.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Here's some recommendations married Rich. Also, can we have a
- 17:45Speaker 4: destination wedding? Are we invited?
- 17:46Speaker 7: Well?
- 17:47Speaker 9: First off, the answer to all of this is yes.
- 17:50Speaker 9: I think we're putting the cart before the horse here.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Alright, what's true?
- 17:54Speaker 3: If you marry Rich you could retire.
- 17:59Speaker 4: The Kensey Bays.
- 18:00Speaker 2: She's been years this it's a woody show, Sammy. Do
- 18:08Speaker 2: you have a New Year's resolution?
- 18:10Speaker 3: A goal?
- 18:11Speaker 5: I do.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So.
- 18:11Speaker 7: My main thing is to willingly try new things.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I mean, you're on your web out of your hand. Yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 1: you're still a steamboat, Willie. Right that that that held
- 18:25Speaker 1: tight through the through the holiday break.
- 18:26Speaker 7: Okay, all right, So I think I did do a
- 18:30Speaker 7: decent amount of new things last year, but I really
- 18:33Speaker 7: want to make an intention of doing them.
- 18:36Speaker 5: And be excited about doing them.
- 18:38Speaker 7: I feel like there was there's a lot of things,
- 18:40Speaker 7: especially me with food or different things, where I will
- 18:44Speaker 7: eat something against my will that I don't. I'm like,
- 18:46Speaker 7: really recently a bone marrow for the first time, and
- 18:49Speaker 7: I was like, what is thet I didn't like it,
- 18:53Speaker 7: but I tried it, and I was very hesitant about it.
- 18:56Speaker 7: And when I was talking to my sister about it,
- 18:57Speaker 7: she was like, but you love trying weird things like that,
- 19:00Speaker 7: And previously I used to. I used to be trying
- 19:03Speaker 7: new things all the time, and then I think I
- 19:05Speaker 7: got into more of a rut in recent years and
- 19:08Speaker 7: more of a routine that I've clung to, and I
- 19:11Speaker 7: wasn't always like this.
- 19:12Speaker 5: So I want to get back to really embracing.
- 19:14Speaker 7: Trying new things.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Love that.
- 19:16Speaker 7: Yeah, that's really the main thing for me.
- 19:18Speaker 6: You know, you had to like better a friend whom
- 19:21Speaker 6: I did this at a restaurant, the bone marrow luge
- 19:23Speaker 6: where you put it up to your mouth and then
- 19:24Speaker 6: they pour.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Like bourbon down.
- 19:27Speaker 9: I did not like the.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Meat butter right exactly.
- 19:32Speaker 2: We have butter, yeah, meat butter, meat butter Morgan.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yes.
- 19:39Speaker 8: My goal, uh well you guys can probably guess this,
- 19:42Speaker 8: but my main goal is I want to fight like
- 19:46Speaker 8: and it's oh, it's so close as I can feel
- 19:49Speaker 8: my body tingling, right, But that's my main thing.
- 19:51Speaker 4: And then also sleep.
- 19:52Speaker 8: I probably average like four hours, so my goal is
- 19:55Speaker 8: to get more than five hours a day.
- 19:58Speaker 5: Disciplined to do it, you have to go to bed.
- 20:00Speaker 4: You're supposed to do spec Yeah, because it won't last.
- 20:05Speaker 4: If you keep on doing that, you won't last. You'll
- 20:09Speaker 4: crash out, Yeah, for sure, You'll you'll end up like
- 20:12Speaker 4: Gina and the bottom of your bathroom ball.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Yeah, bleeding from your face.
- 20:17Speaker 1: From personal experience and from you know, doing this for
- 20:20Speaker 1: so long and being around and other people who have
- 20:23Speaker 1: the same challenge. It really does take a long time.
- 20:26Speaker 1: But it takes a very intentional to use an intentional plan,
- 20:31Speaker 1: and you have to make it happen. Like you can't
- 20:33Speaker 1: just go, oh, well this over here works this way,
- 20:37Speaker 1: so therefore I can't do it. You then have to
- 20:39Speaker 1: make that change.
- 20:40Speaker 4: But how do I change the time? Like I get
- 20:42Speaker 4: home at like nine pm?
- 20:44Speaker 5: So how does that when you change it so you're
- 20:45Speaker 5: not getting home at nine pm?
- 20:46Speaker 1: Like you you might have to like I say, like,
- 20:48Speaker 1: it's sometimes it's tough decisions, but you can do both things.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It might not just be the way that you're doing
- 20:53Speaker 1: them now or the place that you're doing them now
- 20:56Speaker 1: with the people that you're doing it with now, So
- 20:58Speaker 1: you may have to move this if if the if
- 21:01Speaker 1: the if the if the specific place or person is
- 21:03Speaker 1: the most important, well then you can change some other things.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But if it's if it's the idea of like training,
- 21:09Speaker 1: fighting is your big thing, that's the priority, and then
- 21:13Speaker 1: all these other things that had to fall into place.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Out sleeps below that for me.
- 21:17Speaker 2: And I'm okay with that. Yeah, I'm talking. I'm talking
- 21:21Speaker 2: about the balance with other stuff and sleep.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Oh well, my life, I really don't do anything.
- 21:28Speaker 3: And what are you sticking with the be better? Or
- 21:31Speaker 3: you have something more specific?
- 21:33Speaker 1: I've got something you know, more more specific. It's too uh,
- 21:37Speaker 1: it's too uh how can I even say it? Like
- 21:40Speaker 1: so I want I want to master the craft, right,
- 21:44Speaker 1: So yeah, the pilot's license I got, did it right,
- 21:50Speaker 1: And so now I'm doing my instrument rating and there
- 21:54Speaker 1: that that's about like very it's precise precision flying right,
- 21:59Speaker 1: and there's so many other things that go along with it,
- 22:02Speaker 1: and like you're just a better, a safer whatever pilot.
- 22:05Speaker 2: You know, when you're doing instrument. Yeah, rated pilots are safer. Yeah. Okay,
- 22:10Speaker 2: so yeah, just like Menace saying like something that you're
- 22:13Speaker 2: interested in.
- 22:13Speaker 1: So just kind of aster because I find myself like
- 22:17Speaker 1: constantly studying, watching, learning, and.
- 22:20Speaker 2: You know, uh and just absorbing that stuff.
- 22:23Speaker 6: Is there is there a new flying on the horizon?
- 22:26Speaker 6: Are we sticking with that? Are we sticking under the
- 22:28Speaker 6: aviation umbrella?
- 22:29Speaker 7: Nor?
- 22:30Speaker 4: Is there a new No?
- 22:30Speaker 2: No, it's it.
- 22:31Speaker 4: I mean like now it's rock climbing.
- 22:34Speaker 2: No, it's it's a it's to get the instrument rating
- 22:37Speaker 2: and and then spend the time after that just kind
- 22:39Speaker 2: of using that and using the other things to master,
- 22:43Speaker 2: which you it's a never ending thing because you're constantly
- 22:45Speaker 2: learning and getting more experience, right, yeah, I do.
- 22:48Speaker 4: So Are you going to get a fight simulator? Because
- 22:51Speaker 4: I set up over the holiday I set up like
- 22:53Speaker 4: a little thinking about ghetto sim that I put together
- 22:56Speaker 4: with an Xbox and I love it. I already want to,
- 22:59Speaker 4: like I wight up it. Yeah, once I settled down,
- 23:02Speaker 4: I have a new place that I'm going to live. Yeah,
- 23:04Speaker 4: I'm thinking about it. Take it to the next level, thinking.
- 23:06Speaker 2: About it for sure?
- 23:07Speaker 4: Hell yeah, do it?
- 23:07Speaker 1: Well, whatever your your goal is or resolution, whatever you
- 23:10Speaker 1: want to call. Hopefully lasts more than nine days. But yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: we got them all written down and we'll we'll see
- 23:15Speaker 1: how it turns out at the end of the year.
- 23:16Speaker 1: We also have to get at some point over the
- 23:19Speaker 1: next week or so, like menaces predictions. Yes, you know
- 23:22Speaker 1: we uh what's going to happen? Yeah, like we'll go
- 23:24Speaker 1: back through the old predictions and then you know, see
- 23:26Speaker 1: what he's got for twenty twenty six. I'll lay them
- 23:29Speaker 1: all out.
- 23:30Speaker 2: The Woody Show reserves.
- 23:31Speaker 9: Right after these messages, I hadn't one interview more and coach,
- 23:36Speaker 9: they're over the four Hire
