Speaker 1: laboratory analysis of the knife sheath provide closer images of
• 0:20
Speaker 1: the spatter stains associated with impact on the exposed surface
• 0:24
Speaker 1: back of the knife sheath. A. Presumptive testing for the
• 0:28
Speaker 1: presence of blood in the stains on the back of
• 0:31
Speaker 1: the knife sheath was positive. B. Subsequent DNA testing of
• 0:35
Speaker 1: the stains on the back of the knife sheath revealed
• 0:38
Speaker 1: a mixture of DNA. 1. Kaley-Gonsalves matches the major profile
• 0:42
Speaker 1: of DNA. 2. Madison-Mogan is a potential contributor to the
• 0:47
Speaker 1: minor component of DNA. The back of the knife sheath
• 0:50
Speaker 1: was exposed to spatter stains, which originated from impacts to
• 0:54
Speaker 1: Kaley-Gonsalves and Madison-Mogan. 22. The front strap of the knife
• 0:58
Speaker 1: sheath was swabbed and tested as item 1.1, as indicated
• 1:02
Speaker 1: in the attached image. A. DNA from Brian Kohlberger was

• 1:41
Speaker 1: It continues to approximately 4 feet 3 inches above the floor.
• 1:45
Speaker 1: Image ISP 4885 shows this swipe in closer perspective. Swipe
• 1:52
Speaker 1: stains are caused by a transfer of blood from a
• 1:54
Speaker 1: blood-bearing surface onto another surface, with characteristics that indicate relative
• 1:59
Speaker 1: motion between the two surfaces. Stain number 48 was pre-logged
• 2:04
Speaker 1: into the ISPFS system as stain 42-29. This sample was
• 2:09
Speaker 1: then assigned the laboratory number of 7730. Testing showed the
• 2:14
Speaker 1: sample to originate from Kaylee Gonsalves. B. There is no
• 2:18
Speaker 1: physical evidence to indicate that either Ms. Gonsalves or Ms.
• 2:22
Speaker 1: Mogan created this transfer stain. 24. DSC 4857 cropped was
• 2:29
Speaker 1: taken by the Forensic Field Services team on November 17, 2022,
