• 0:05
  SPEAKER_00: It's our Friday.
• 0:06
  SPEAKER_00: I'm all messed up.
• 0:07
  SPEAKER_00: Well, it is.
• 0:08
SPEAKER_00: We're not here tomorrow because it's a uh company holiday for everybody here.
• 0:11
  SPEAKER_01: Juneteenth.
• 0:11
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you'll get the best of tomorrow.
• 0:13
SPEAKER_00: Uh now some folks have to work and uh well that sucks.
• 0:16
  SPEAKER_00: Suckers.
• 0:16
  SPEAKER_00: Yep.
• 0:17
SPEAKER_00: Uh but uh we're off, so I'm all screwed up.
• 0:19
SPEAKER_00: Uh I'm thinking it's Friday in my brain, but it's not.
• 0:22
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so which day are you referencing?
• 0:24
SPEAKER_00: A week from this Saturday.
• 0:25
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so the June 20th, June 27th.
• 0:28
  SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
• 0:28
SPEAKER_00: Which is shockingly the end of June almost.
• 0:31
SPEAKER_00: Um we uh we have our big party in the park.
• 0:34
SPEAKER_00: Now, we know this is gonna kick off in the afternoon at Eldridge Park.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_00: You're gonna have tons of vendors, food trucks.
• 0:40
SPEAKER_00: Uh my God, it's gonna be a good day.
• 0:42
SPEAKER_00: Rides, inflatables, all sorts of things.
• 0:44
  SPEAKER_00: Inflatables are free.
• 0:46
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all right.
• 0:46
SPEAKER_01: Rides inflatables are free, rides are not.
• 0:49
SPEAKER_00: You know what's great though about the rides, and and they're really aimed more towards little, little kids.
• 0:53
SPEAKER_00: So you know you don't have to spend a fortune on that.
• 0:55
SPEAKER_00: But that money goes back to helping Eldridge Park continue to maintain them, maybe add something, do things.
• 1:00
SPEAKER_00: So it you really you feel good about it.
• 1:02
  SPEAKER_01: It's a beautiful, beautiful park, yeah.
• 1:04
SPEAKER_01: And then we have the big fireworks display at the very end of the night, whenever it gets dark, thanks to Gary's body shop.
• 1:10
SPEAKER_01: But you can come in and hang all day, bring blankets, bring chairs, but when you get there, don't bring your dog, idiot.
• 1:17
  SPEAKER_01: Don't please don't bring your dog.
• 1:18
  SPEAKER_01: I really don't need that.
• 1:20
  SPEAKER_01: Every year.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_01: But it's cool because there is so you have a band playing during the day, rock docs starts at three, they play for a few hours, and then we have the Orchestra of the Southern Tier coming in to do a bunch of patriotic songs for America's 250.
• 1:34
  SPEAKER_00: Nice.
• 1:35
  SPEAKER_01: It's such a nice touch.
• 1:36
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_01: I love this.
• 1:38
SPEAKER_01: And then, of course, you don't worry about food because we've got so many food trucks, everything from Los Panchos to uh Chef O will be there, Stone Age Barbecue, Papa's Patties, food for like a meal meal, but then tons of ice cream too.
• 1:52
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:52
SPEAKER_00: Now, now keep in mind, you you have to buy the food that you want to eat, but you don't have to let what we're saying is you don't have to pack like a big cooler to you know feed the family if you'd like to eat at one of the great and there's so many.
• 2:05
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 2:05
SPEAKER_00: Don't even worry about it.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_00: It is free to get in and the free fireworks show, of course, at Eldridge a week from this Saturday.
• 2:11
SPEAKER_01: If you need more information about this, not only our social, it's all over, but the the website is comepartyinthepark.com because you will be parking at Wegmans and then shuttling over.
• 2:22
SPEAKER_01: Or there's some other parking lots, but there's really not a lot of room.
• 2:26
SPEAKER_00: No, it's just so much easier to shuttle.
• 2:28
SPEAKER_00: Even a lot of people walk it.
• 2:30
SPEAKER_00: It's you know, sometimes you'll see that where you know people will hike over from Wegmans, but thank you to them.
• 2:35
SPEAKER_00: And did we mention Schmunkanel Trust?
• 2:37
SPEAKER_01: Schmunk Canal Trust, Wegmans, and um Gary's Body Shop.
• 2:41
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, there you go.
• 2:41
  SPEAKER_01: Our beautiful sponsors.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, thank you so much to them.
• 2:44
SPEAKER_01: You know, I just was in Vegas not that long ago.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, and had an interesting trip to Vegas because I was at the sphere, which is you know a great venue, but it had an obstructed view.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_01: And also I didn't really get to see and do everything that I wanted to do.
• 3:00
SPEAKER_01: Well, the other day, yeah, my college girlfriend was in town, and we were me and her name is Elena, and then we were very close to another guy named Scott.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_01: Ironically, I've always had like a gr a great, great Scott in my life.
• 3:15
SPEAKER_01: So Scott tells me and tell will tell us on the as we're FaceTiming with him, because of course we want to connect and be like, hey, what's up, buddy?
• 3:22
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're making.
• 3:24
SPEAKER_01: He tells me that he has sold his business and he is now retired at the age of 43.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_01: Oh and then after we talk, we get uh he sends me this text message.
• 3:37
SPEAKER_01: Now, Scott and I, Scott is married, Scott has two kids.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_01: There is nothing weird about this relationship at all, but Scott sends me this exact same message definitely want to do Vegas.
• 3:48
SPEAKER_01: It's on my dime, not taking no for an answer.
• 3:52
  SPEAKER_01: What do you think?
• 3:54
  SPEAKER_01: I can't say no to this.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_00: You mean he's offering to take you to Vegas?
• 3:59
  SPEAKER_01: Yes, me and Elena.
• 4:02
SPEAKER_01: She would be there too.
• 4:03
  SPEAKER_00: Oh.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_01: So what do you think?
• 4:05
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, he must have sold his business for a small fortune.
• 4:08
SPEAKER_01: His wife, I don't think, would go though.
• 4:10
  SPEAKER_01: Just not her gig.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_00: Okay, but that's what I was gonna ask.
• 4:13
  SPEAKER_00: It's not her gig.
• 4:14
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_01: But how do you think about now?
• 4:16
SPEAKER_01: I'm in this newer relationship, me going on vacation with another man.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_00: I think the thing that makes it okay is your friend Elena would be going.
• 4:23
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: If Elena wasn't going I would say probably I mean, whether here's the thing.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_00: I in your case specifically, um, and I think you know this answer.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_00: You have a very core group of friends that you were friends with since you were in high school.
• 4:40
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 4:40
SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm referencing Timmy, disaster, the whole, you know, there's there's this group of you.
• 4:44
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 4:45
SPEAKER_00: It is known uh pretty much to anyone that ever gets in a relationship with you from the very beginning.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_00: This is a core group of people that you have been friends with, and many of them are married or in relationships or whatever.
• 4:58
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it you've just gone through life together, yeah, and you still share a lot together.
• 5:02
SPEAKER_00: Had it been one of those people, I think it would have been a no questions asked.
• 5:06
SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's part of the group, or oh, those two have known each other forever.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_00: You know, there's there's absolutely nothing there.
• 5:12
  SPEAKER_00: It's just whatever.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_00: But this other great Scott, yes, um, you know, it it's not I know of the person because you've referenced it to me over the course of 20 years.
• 5:26
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 5:27
SPEAKER_00: I've been friends with this guy for over over 20 years, right, but not referenced as much as the Timmies of the World and other people.
• 5:34
  SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
• 5:34
SPEAKER_01: So I always joke that I've I've best friended so hard that everyone knows my best friend's name.
• 5:38
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 5:39
SPEAKER_00: And I think there would be maybe not a total blowback, but there might be a hmm, you know, that sort of a thing.
• 5:47
SPEAKER_00: You know, or or that.
• 5:49
SPEAKER_00: Now, here's my other question.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_00: Are you friends with the other great Scott?
• 5:53
  SPEAKER_00: His wife at all?
• 5:54
SPEAKER_01: She's not like, no, not not a lot.
• 5:57
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I know her, we've hung out, I went to their wedding.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_01: We went she also went to college with me.
• 6:03
SPEAKER_01: We're not like super tight, no.
• 6:04
SPEAKER_00: No, because I was gonna say, is it the type of thing, you know, would you be able to text and be like, hey, why don't you want to go to Vegas?
• 6:12
SPEAKER_01: You know, no, I don't even have her phone number.
• 6:14
SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay, because I was gonna say, you know, you could totally eliminate any questions if she was just like, yeah, it's just not my if that's was her response.
• 6:21
SPEAKER_01: But she understands our friendship though, too.
• 6:23
SPEAKER_01: So she's basically saying, Yeah, Scott, go you, you, Allie, and Elena, go to Vegas.
• 6:29
SPEAKER_00: I think what makes it okay is it would be a thropple.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_01: Yes, and the and the and the the wife makes it okay.
• 6:36
SPEAKER_00: Well, and she said it's okay.
• 6:37
SPEAKER_00: Uh uh, you'll have no pushback from Zach.
• 6:39
SPEAKER_00: I mean, you could tell him that you were, you know, flying on Artemis to the moon and he'd be like, okay.
• 6:44
SPEAKER_00: Um, but uh, I I think that uh what makes it okay, what makes it more comfortable.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_00: I don't want to say okay, because you know what?
• 6:52
SPEAKER_00: I think people should get past the point of, well, clearly if you're vacationing with the opposite sex, there's another intention there.
• 6:59
  SPEAKER_00: I don't think that's always the case.
• 7:01
SPEAKER_01: No, and that's where I think that, and I think he understands this when I get with certain friends, and I even said to him, I'm like, I'm almost afraid to see, I'm afraid for you, Zach, to see me around my best friend guy group because then I turn into one of them and then I'm I'm like become disgusting.
• 7:20
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 7:20
SPEAKER_00: And I want you to start with a few minutes.
• 7:22
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's a slow hill to climb down to get there, but and I still want you to find me sexy.
• 7:27
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 7:27
  SPEAKER_00: So Yeah, I don't, I don't, I personally don't see a problem with this.
• 7:31
SPEAKER_00: And uh the fact that he's paying hell's yes.
• 7:33
  SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
• 7:34
  SPEAKER_01: I can't say no.
• 7:36
SPEAKER_01: No, I I I don't think that He needs to understand uh if I'm in a relationship, I got horse blinders on.
• 7:42
SPEAKER_00: I think you got enough of a buffer to answer any questions or you'll just no way that he could go, I'm uncomfortable with this.
• 7:51
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I just don't see it.
• 7:53
SPEAKER_00: No, if it was just the two yeah, unless it was a very specific thing.
• 7:58
SPEAKER_00: No, I I I think with the three, yeah you've eliminated any questions.
• 8:02
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_01: And even if there was nothing to ever happen, if it was just the two of us, even if nothing was to ever happen, it's still it's kind of it's an easier sell with three, I'm not gonna lie.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_01: It's a bad look, even though I know that he trusts me.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_01: I, you know, everybody's trusting in the whole thing.
• 8:17
SPEAKER_00: I appreciate the bad look.
• 8:19
SPEAKER_00: There might be pictures that are gonna pop on social.
• 8:21
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, look at this.
• 8:22
SPEAKER_00: We went to whatever, you know, this and that.
• 8:24
  SPEAKER_00: People are like, what?
• 8:26
SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
• 8:27
SPEAKER_01: Why is she with another man?
• 8:28
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can I can understand the bad look, but I think the the three kind of eliminates that.
• 8:33
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 8:34
SPEAKER_00: It's just a friend group thing going.
• 8:35
SPEAKER_00: And who cares if one's got a ding dong and the other two don't?
• 8:39
  SPEAKER_01: R okay.
• 8:40
SPEAKER_01: I that makes you feel better.
• 8:42
  SPEAKER_00: I think you're okay.
• 8:43
SPEAKER_01: Okay, that makes me feel better because I was worried that he would be worried.
• 8:47
  SPEAKER_00: Meaning Zach.
• 8:48
SPEAKER_00: Meaning Zach would be worried.
• 8:49
  SPEAKER_00: I told you.
• 8:50
SPEAKER_00: You could tell him you're going to Mars and to go pick up the rover for repairs, he'd be like, Okay Yes, ma'am.
