- 2:27Speaker 1: For the world. All right, let's do it.
- 2:29Speaker 4: All right, who would you like to think before we
- 2:32Speaker 4: start for your brain. Your teacher, you had a special
- 2:39Speaker 4: teacher you'd like to think, who's your favorite teacher.
- 2:41Speaker 1: In high school? His name was Nathan Parham.
- 2:43Speaker 4: You're just supposed to say mister parm You can't say
- 2:46Speaker 4: their first name. I'm gonna question number one. If you
- 2:52Speaker 4: mess this up, mister Parham's going to be listening. What

- 3:13Speaker 1: he teach? Anatomy, physics, all the sciences? For science?
- 3:21Speaker 4: I need a good science question to give you. Well,
- 3:24Speaker 4: he'll really be disappointed if you don't get this one.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Okay, And the movie Frozen? What is the name of

- 3:33Speaker 4: Good job, buddy, Congratulations.
- 3:45Speaker 1: You want thank you? I needed this.
- 3:49Speaker 3: You don't want to thank mister Parham. He's the reason
- 3:51Speaker 3: you got here.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I love Coach Parham.
- 3:53Speaker 2: There's three things you need to know with the ELEBMA show.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Warming Shelters and Birmingham and Bessemer need donations. If you
- 4:01Speaker 4: want to help. They need blankets, coats and hygiene items. Also,
- 4:05Speaker 4: the one in Bessemer needs hats, gloves, socks and bottled
- 4:09Speaker 4: water so that people have a warm, safe place to
- 4:12Speaker 4: stay during these cold weathers. In Birmingham Faith Chapel Care
- 4:16Speaker 4: Center and Church of the Reconciler Our Shelters. In Bessemer,
- 4:20Speaker 4: there's a warming station at Triumph Church on Thirteenth Avenue.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Stay warm, it is freezing cold today.
- 4:27Speaker 1: All right, here's how long you should warm up your car.
- 4:29Speaker 1: What's your guest producer Blake fifteen minutes?
- 4:32Speaker 4: No, one to two minutes before driving, say the experts
- 4:37Speaker 4: in newer cars especially, they say the time it takes
- 4:40Speaker 4: to put your seat belt on and just adjust everything,
- 4:43Speaker 4: then one to two minutes.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's it. That's all it needs. That is such a
- 4:47Speaker 1: wild thing.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you've been listening to the wrong people.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Obviously, if you have an older car, give it a
- 4:51Speaker 4: little bit more time.
- 4:52Speaker 3: You don't want to just get in your car and
- 4:54Speaker 3: floor it.
- 4:55Speaker 4: But also if you turn your key and your car
- 4:58Speaker 4: won't start in the cold weather, it's probably your best.
- 5:00Speaker 1: That happened to me a couple of weeks ago.
- 5:02Speaker 6: It did.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yes, and don't do these common mistakes when ordering Valentine's
- 5:07Speaker 4: Day flowers Producer Blake, don't.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Skip the note.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Even if you think it's obvious that your girlfriend will
- 5:12Speaker 4: know they came from you, it's still important to put
- 5:14Speaker 4: a note yeah, because you may think they came from
- 5:17Speaker 4: somebody else who knows.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll let it up. I'll put my nickname on there.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Don't go for the cheapest option, because you get what
- 5:24Speaker 4: you pay for. And if you go for the cheapest flowers,
- 5:26Speaker 4: chances are you and your Valentine will be disappointed. If
- 5:30Speaker 4: you are on a budget, try going to Costco or
- 5:32Speaker 4: Trader Joe's. They have great affordable bouquets. I'm telling you,
- 5:35Speaker 4: Trader Joe's has the best flowers. I fight with other
- 5:39Speaker 4: women at nine o'clock every morning when Trader Joe's opens.
- 5:42Speaker 4: It's like a line for the flowers, and we're all
- 5:44Speaker 4: fighting over the best flowers.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I didn't know Trader Joe's. They was locked in like.
- 5:50Speaker 4: That best kept secret. Trader Joe's has the best flowers,
- 5:52Speaker 4: especially when.
- 5:53Speaker 1: It's a p and E season. Is it what p
- 5:55Speaker 1: and ees?
- 5:56Speaker 3: I don't p and ees ponees.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Google it.
- 6:01Speaker 4: It's peonies, but it's spelled like Pone's I.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Know the flower. It's just I've never heard of someone
- 6:07Speaker 1: say say know that they wanted that as a gift.
- 6:10Speaker 4: And don't forget delivery details if they are being delivered.
- 6:12Speaker 4: If your boo lives in a complicated apartment complex, make
- 6:15Speaker 4: sure you give directions so they actually make it. And
- 6:19Speaker 4: that's three things you need to know. More at the
- 6:20Speaker 4: Alabama Show dot com, the.

- 6:26Speaker 4: If somebody's ever stolen anything from you, call the show
- 6:29Speaker 4: ate three three five oh one Bama and tell us
- 6:32Speaker 4: what it is.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Because somebody stole my beaver. Who would have stolen your beaver?
- 6:37Speaker 3: Don't say like that, you just said it. By the way,
- 6:40Speaker 3: thanks for listening to The Alabama Show.
- 6:42Speaker 4: I'm Alabama with producer Blake yesterday, not yesterday Friday. I
- 6:46Speaker 4: was taking an app on Friday and I woke up
- 6:48Speaker 4: to a text from you, Producer Blake, because a listener
- 6:52Speaker 4: messaged just Friday morning during the show, yes, and he said.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Hey, I'm at Bucky's do you want anything?
- 6:58Speaker 1: And if you've never.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Been to BUCkies is a truck stop where they have
- 7:02Speaker 4: a mascot Bucky the Beaver, which is the most amazing
- 7:06Speaker 4: mascot ever.
- 7:07Speaker 3: And I said, I want a stuffed beaver.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I want a mascot.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the stuffed animal because they sell those there,
- 7:15Speaker 4: and he got one and he sent.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You a picture. Yeah, he left it perfectly sitting in
- 7:21Speaker 1: the doorframe.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Yeah, he put it on the door, like we have
- 7:24Speaker 4: these door handles outside of our building, and he stuck
- 7:26Speaker 4: each arm and each door and he goes, I got
- 7:28Speaker 4: Alabama Buckey Beaver, and I was like yes, So immediately
- 7:33Speaker 4: I came to the studio to try to find to
- 7:36Speaker 4: go get it because I was like, well, we can't
- 7:37Speaker 4: leave him here overnight, somebody will steal them. I get
- 7:40Speaker 4: here and he's already gone, so.
- 7:42Speaker 1: He was already taken. Yes.
- 7:45Speaker 4: And my question for you, Producer Blake, when were you
- 7:48Speaker 4: out on Friday between the hours of five and seven,
- 7:51Speaker 4: because we knowed it was about five o'clock that he
- 7:53Speaker 4: dropped it off.
- 7:53Speaker 3: It was seven o'clock when I got here.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I was with my girlfriend. You live closer to
- 7:58Speaker 1: the radio station than I do. Why would I tell
- 8:01Speaker 1: you about it if I was gonna take it?
- 8:03Speaker 4: Well, that's why I'm interrogating you right now. What were
- 8:05Speaker 4: you and your girlfriend doing.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I think we were watching a movie.
- 8:09Speaker 4: So we are you cuddling with a Bucky the Beaver
- 8:11Speaker 4: stuffed animal while you were watching a movie.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm not getting up to go take and dang beaver?
- 8:16Speaker 2: No?
- 8:16Speaker 4: No, why didn't you just buy at the thrift store
- 8:18Speaker 4: last week because you were super excited about it?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got a big Bucky. Why do I need
- 8:22Speaker 1: a small Bucky?
- 8:23Speaker 4: Now?
- 8:23Speaker 3: You got a big, giant, inflatable Bucky the Beaver.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah, because you love Bucky the Beaver. No, I thought,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I think you took my beaver? Why would I take yours?
- 8:32Speaker 1: I don't know why did you? I didn't I think
- 8:35Speaker 1: you did.
- 8:35Speaker 5: There's no proof anywhere anywhere in this well.
- 8:39Speaker 3: We're gonna pull the security fan footage.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead, because I think that you did it
- 8:44Speaker 1: because you were the only one who knew. Hey sent
- 8:47Speaker 1: you the picture, and you live closer to the radio
- 8:49Speaker 1: station than I.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Do, and you were like, I'm gonna go get Alabama's
- 8:52Speaker 4: beaver because I know it'll make her mad.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I can't wait for the biggest apology on this.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I'm apologizing it all because even if you didn't take.
- 8:59Speaker 1: It, you know where it is.
- 9:01Speaker 4: How would I know where it is because you have
- 9:03Speaker 4: you know, I just know you know. You like to
- 9:07Speaker 4: mess with everybody in the building. You messed with JT
- 9:11Speaker 4: next door, signing them up for Victoria's secret emails.
- 9:14Speaker 5: All right there, Yeah, and you told on me you're
- 9:17Speaker 5: the one that's awful at this I would not do
- 9:20Speaker 5: that because I don't care to get out and go
- 9:22Speaker 5: get it.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Thank you did.
- 9:23Speaker 4: And if you are the guy to the guy Tony
- 9:26Speaker 4: who got the beaver, if you're listening, I'm sorry we
- 9:29Speaker 4: lost it. Thank you for being so kind and going
- 9:31Speaker 4: out of your way to get me a stuffed animal.
- 9:33Speaker 3: And now it's gone.
- 9:35Speaker 1: This isn't my fault. This is my fault.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Called the Show. Has anybody ever stolen anything from you?
- 9:40Speaker 4: What did they steal? Eight three three five O one
- 9:43Speaker 4: BAMA is the number.
- 9:44Speaker 2: The Alabama Show on demand free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 9:48Speaker 4: We are on the hunt for my missing Bucky beaver
- 9:51Speaker 4: that somebody got.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Me and now it's gone.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Called the Show.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Eight three three five o one BAMA is the number. Amanda,
- 9:57Speaker 4: good morning. Has anybody ever stolen something?

- 10:05Speaker 7: was a baby, my grandmother handmade a quilte for him.
- 10:09Speaker 7: Oh no, and it's actually my stepmother that stole it
- 10:13Speaker 7: from me.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Wait why, I had left.
- 10:16Speaker 7: It at her house and I moved it. So I
- 10:19Speaker 7: moved like twenty minutes away. I was living in Phoenix City.
- 10:22Speaker 7: She was living in Oblaika, Okay. And I guess she
- 10:25Speaker 7: thought I was just never going to come back for it,
- 10:27Speaker 7: and so she regifted it to her niece. And when
- 10:31Speaker 7: I found out about it, I tried to get it
- 10:32Speaker 7: back and they all blocked me. So I just I
- 10:36Speaker 7: never got it back.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Oh my god, that I would have fought somebody.
- 10:42Speaker 7: I was devastated because my grandmother handmade a blanket for
- 10:46Speaker 7: all of my kids and that was the only one
- 10:48Speaker 7: that I never got back.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's something you can't replace. Well, I'm so sorry. Well,
- 10:52Speaker 4: I hope that your family is listening now, and if
- 10:54Speaker 4: y'all are listening, I just want y'all to know how
- 10:56Speaker 4: terrible you are.
- 10:59Speaker 7: I don't I think she would care even if she
- 11:01Speaker 7: does hear it.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, Well, thank you for sharing. I'm really sorry.

- 12:43Speaker 3: What?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Whow? It just sounds like a so Ken.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Barbie's boyfriend is turning sixty five in March, and Mattel
- 12:51Speaker 4: has released his full name for the whole world to hear.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Are you ready?
- 12:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Kenneth Sean Carson.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Kenneth Sean Carson. Huh Kenneth Sean Carson in case she wondered.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Also, Ken is sixty five, so you he looks great.
- 13:04Speaker 1: For his age.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It's three things you need to know with the element saw.
- 13:11Speaker 4: A Vestavia man made a snow hill for sledding in
- 13:14Speaker 4: his yard for the neighborhood kids.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Oh I love this so not David Stewart.
- 13:18Speaker 4: He opened up his snow machine to make the neighborhood
- 13:21Speaker 4: a winter wonderland. He went out at two am Monday
- 13:24Speaker 4: morning and spend all night working on it.
- 13:26Speaker 1: So one, you know he was freezing.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Two you know the kids in the neighborhood had a
- 13:30Speaker 4: great off day from school yesterday sledding in that neighborhood.
- 13:34Speaker 1: And he's just a caring guy. Oh my gosh, that
- 13:36Speaker 1: was great.
- 13:37Speaker 4: GLP one could save airlines five hundred and eighty million
- 13:41Speaker 4: dollars a year on fuel.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I don't understand that one.
- 13:44Speaker 4: A new study estimates that if passenger weight dropped by
- 13:47Speaker 4: just ten percent, the four biggest US carriers could save
- 13:51Speaker 4: a combined five hundred and eighty million dollars a year
- 13:53Speaker 4: in fuel because it makes planes lighter and more fuel efficient,
- 13:58Speaker 4: like a single Boeing seven thirty seven. If people lost
- 14:01Speaker 4: ten percent of their weight, could see a reduction in
- 14:03Speaker 4: thirty two hundred pounds.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Because think about how.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Many people are on a plane, and right now, one
- 14:08Speaker 4: in eight American adults now uses GLP one.
- 14:11Speaker 3: So this is actually could be a real impact.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Would that lower our prices if we want to travel?
- 14:17Speaker 2: No?
- 14:18Speaker 4: Probably not, absolutely not she's going to make the plane
- 14:21Speaker 4: the flight companies more money. Crumble has brought back Dubai
- 14:26Speaker 4: Chocolate the Dubai Chocolate Cookie for another week. Last week
- 14:29Speaker 4: they debuted it and it was such a hit they're

- 14:34Speaker 4: you can get a Crumbled.
- 14:35Speaker 1: To Buy chocolate cookie. I like Crumble cookie, but I
- 14:38Speaker 1: did not like Dubunch chok.
- 14:40Speaker 4: You've only tried it one time, and you tried it
- 14:42Speaker 4: from the grocery store.
- 14:43Speaker 1: D Buy chocolate.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Is that good chocolate with like the green pistachio filling.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Honestly, I kind of want to try that. It's really good.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I'll give it a test.
- 14:52Speaker 4: That's three things you need to know. More at The
