- 0:00Speaker 1: We got a $ 250 gift card. Hi, Yvette.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hi.
- 0:05Speaker 1: I hope you're a fan.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Good morning, everyone.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Good morning. Are you a fan of The Voice, the
- 0:08Speaker 1: TV show The Voice?
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well, you know, I tend to watch some TV, but
- 0:12Speaker 2: I fall asleep all the time, of course.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Uh-oh. Well, I think you got to get this right
- 0:15Speaker 1: to get $ 250, right? I mean, I hope you're watching.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I know.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I'm going to.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I hope you're watching last night, but this was for
- 0:21Speaker 2: the beginning of the show. Okay, so check this out.
- 0:24Speaker 2: This coach tells Big Country, the first contestant, after hearing
- 0:28Speaker 2: him perform, I put a spell on you. She says, quote,
- 0:31Speaker 2: big country. You've got it. You've got it. You did
- 0:34Speaker 2: that song from your heart for the people. And that's
- 0:36Speaker 2: what I felt. We've heard it done many ways, but
- 0:38Speaker 2: never like that. You made it yours. Which coach said that?
- 0:43Speaker 4: Would that be the big queen cow?
- 0:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it is.
- 0:45Speaker 4: You just totally won the whole thing.
- 0:48Speaker 1: There you go. Best voice wins.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Queen Latifah Riley Green joined Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine
- 0:54Speaker 2: as coaches of The Voice to celebrate we're giving you $ 250.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Watch and listen to us, John Jane Rich, to win.
- 1:02Speaker 2: The Voice Blind auditions continue tonight at 7 on NBC12 News.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Congratulations, Yvette. Awesome.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Thank you so much, guys.
- 1:10Speaker 4: You guys have an amazing day.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Way to go. Thanks for listening. Hold on the line.
- 1:14Speaker 1: We'll set you up. And we're doing it tomorrow too, right?
- 1:16Speaker 1: We do this every day? Yeah. Yeah. Okay, good, man.
- 1:18Speaker 1: So think about it.
- 1:18Speaker 3: We got Kanye tickets. We got public enemy tickets. We
- 1:21Speaker 3: got Disney tickets. We got 250 bucks. We got Kyle
- 1:24Speaker 3: telling us what we need to know.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Yeah, there's another twist in the Lindsay Clancy case. Now,
- 1:30Speaker 4: her lawyers want the one juror who wouldn't vote to
- 1:33Speaker 4: acquit her investigated. So her attorney is now saying that
- 1:36Speaker 4: that guy was actually using his phone when he shouldn't
- 1:39Speaker 4: have been. So they're going to pull his phone records.
- 1:41Speaker 4: They're going to pull his text message records because... Lindsay's
- 1:45Speaker 4: lawyer is trying to tell the judge that, like, you
- 1:48Speaker 4: could have replaced this guy. We knew he wasn't doing
- 1:50Speaker 4: what he was supposed to be doing. And instead of
- 1:53Speaker 4: doing that, the trial ended in mistrial. And because of that,
- 1:56Speaker 4: if this guy did indeed use his phone, he was
- 1:58Speaker 4: breaking the rules multiple areas. Lindsay shouldn't be tried again
- 2:02Speaker 4: at all. So this could be interesting because also September
- 2:05Speaker 4: 29th is that day that is still coming up that
- 2:08Speaker 4: the lawyer has all this time in between to try
- 2:10Speaker 4: to figure something out. Because September 29th, they may decide
- 2:13Speaker 4: that they are going to retry the case.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Did you, Kyle, watch the interview with her husband?
- 2:17Speaker 4: It was like a big nothing burger. It made me
- 2:18Speaker 4: like so annoyed. It really did. Like there were all
- 2:21Speaker 4: the things that they promoted that they were going to say.
- 2:24Speaker 4: They never even said in the 14 minute interview. It's
- 2:26Speaker 4: 60 minutes. It was 14 minutes. It was like, I
- 2:28Speaker 4: was like, you just wasted my time. 60 minutes.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Wait a minute.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You said 60 minutes. It was 14 minutes. Like you
- 2:32Speaker 1: expected 60 minutes. I did.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I did.
- 2:35Speaker 4: I was like a 60 minute interview.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I at least expected.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Them to get to the clips that they promoted, but.
- 2:41Speaker 1: They did not. No, no, no. I know that. But
- 2:42Speaker 1: the part that it was only 14 minutes because you
- 2:44Speaker 1: thought it would be 60 minutes. That's the name of
- 2:45Speaker 1: the show.
- 2:46Speaker 4: That's adorable.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Should have been 60 minutes. I've never watched that show before.
- 2:49Speaker 2: No, I'm with you.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 2:50Speaker 1: 60 minutes.
- 2:50Speaker 4: You made me watch you for the first time and
- 2:52Speaker 4: never again now.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Let me ask you this because this is what I heard.
- 2:55Speaker 1: And I don't know if this is true.
- 2:57Speaker 3: So when you watched it on TV or on the app,
- 3:00Speaker 3: it was 14 minutes long? Yeah.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Okay, because I heard the whole unedited interview is online somewhere,
- 3:05Speaker 1: the whole thing.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Uh, I mean, streaming is 14 minutes. Cause I tried
- 3:11Speaker 4: to find like, I, I didn't get to watch it live.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Well, here's what I'm saying. You said there's some clips
- 3:15Speaker 1: that they did. They showed in the problem, but those
- 3:17Speaker 1: are on the full, when you go find it online.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Now I'm over it.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Right. No, no, I know. Now everyone's over it.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Come on, come on.
- 3:23Speaker 4: 60 minutes. Big fail on that one.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Google just made its own version of Mac book. So
- 3:29Speaker 4: Google is officially coming for the Mac book crowd with
- 3:32Speaker 4: a brand new laptop. They are calling. They're not even
- 3:34Speaker 4: like hiding it. They're calling it Google book. Sure, why not?
- 3:39Speaker 4: It's starting at $ 899. It works really closely with your
- 3:42Speaker 4: Android phone and has Gemini AI built in to basically everything,
- 3:46Speaker 4: including a pretty wild feature where you can just wiggle
- 3:49Speaker 4: your cursor over something on your screen and AI figures
- 3:51Speaker 4: out what you need help with. Yeah, I don't get this.
- 3:54Speaker 4: And then it's like, here, let me help you with this.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Are you guys getting that... What's Muse guy from Instagram?
- 3:59Speaker 4: I'm so glad that you brought that up.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Really?
- 4:02Speaker 4: That literally brings me right into the next story. Muse
- 4:06Speaker 4: AI is Meta's AI. And it can do all kinds
- 4:09Speaker 4: of different things. And it can shop for you. And
- 4:12Speaker 4: Amazon has Rufus, which can apparently shop for you. And
- 4:16Speaker 4: now these companies are fighting over who can be your
- 4:19Speaker 4: personal shopper.
- 4:21Speaker 1: So....
- 4:22Speaker 4: Amazon basically was like, you know, we're going to put
- 4:25Speaker 4: up a no robot sign, except for like our robots
- 4:27Speaker 4: can shop for you. Metas can't. So if you told
- 4:31Speaker 4: your Muse AI to go in and find you the
- 4:34Speaker 4: best deal on Amazon for anything, your favorite new shoes
- 4:37Speaker 4: that just dropped, you wouldn't be able to because Amazon
- 4:40Speaker 4: was like, listen, we never gave permission to Meta for
- 4:44Speaker 4: its AI to go through our site or access our customers' accounts.
- 4:48Speaker 4: And because of that, you are not allowed. You didn't
- 4:50Speaker 4: ask permission. You can't walk through the door until then.
- 4:53Speaker 4: But it's interesting because it's starting this whole new argument
- 4:56Speaker 4: of if I asked my AI to go shop for me,
- 5:00Speaker 4: why aren't you letting me shop here? They think it's
- 5:03Speaker 4: very pretty woman. Back in the day, you can't shop here.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You can't shop here. You can't afford this. It's too
- 5:08Speaker 1: expensive for you.
- 5:09Speaker 4: It'll be interesting to see who wins the AI robot
- 5:12Speaker 4: wars as to who can actually be your personal shopper.
- 5:14Speaker 4: So the Diamondbacks begin their final six games today, and
- 5:17Speaker 4: somehow they are still squeaking barely, barely in this National
- 5:22Speaker 4: League wildcard playoff race. So these last six games will
- 5:26Speaker 4: be very important. They start a three-game series in Colorado today.
- 5:30Speaker 4: It's a very narrow path to postseason. There are four
- 5:33Speaker 4: games behind Philadelphia with six left. And we play the
- 5:36Speaker 4: Padres in the last three games. And that's who we
- 5:39Speaker 4: kind of need to catch up to. So we've basically
- 5:41Speaker 4: got to sweep all wins in Colorado and sweep the Padres.
- 5:44Speaker 4: And then we'll make it to the playoffs.
- 5:46Speaker 2: No problem.
- 5:46Speaker 4: But if you ask me, you're telling me there's still hope.
- 5:50Speaker 4: This is actually really cool, you guys. Sky Harbor is
- 5:52Speaker 4: about to get a lot bigger. They are planning a
- 5:53Speaker 4: completely new West Terminal. American Airlines will be the main airline.
- 5:57Speaker 4: They're going to have room for more international flights and
- 5:59Speaker 4: those giant planes used for long-haul trips. We're still years
- 6:03Speaker 4: away because they're saying construction won't start until 2029 and
- 6:06Speaker 4: could open in 2033. But here's what's crazy. Sky Harbor
- 6:10Speaker 4: hasn't had an entirely new airport terminal since Terminal 4
- 6:14Speaker 4: opened in 1990.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Leave it.
- 6:16Speaker 4: So it's kind of, it's kind of cool because everyone's
- 6:18Speaker 4: like more international flights.
- 6:20Speaker 1: This is too much. They ruined the San Diego airport.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Okay. Well, a lot of people are really excited about this,
- 6:25Speaker 4: but don't worry, John Jay, it won't happen for a
- 6:26Speaker 4: long time.
- 6:26Speaker 1: And that's what you need to know. So the 60
- 6:29Speaker 1: minutes interview with Tom Clancy. Patrick. It's 28 minutes long.
- 6:32Speaker 1: The full thing is 20 minutes long.
