- 1:12Right, Nathan? What?
- 1:13What hot lady told you to grow out that beard?
- 1:16All the hot ladies told me to do it.
- 1:18Let's go. Come on, Lisa.
- 1:21Andrew too. Oh really?
- 1:22Circle jerk. Make her squirt.
- 1:26Make me jerk. Ladies and gentlemen, Nathan
- 1:28Ramatandra. Yes, and by the way, very good
- 1:33worker, hard worker, does our PR work, it's all the guests.
- 1:36He does such a great job, so thank you didn't.
- 1:37Have thank you. Thank you guys.
- 1:39You guys are, you guys are killing it right now.
- 1:41Thank you very much. And we got a new guy in Dickie
- 1:43Bragg, so let's bring him in, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:46He's been great. He's been just fantastic.
- 1:48His first show on Thursdays, he's going to be joining us
- 1:51every single Thursday and we're very excited.
- 1:54He's a great personality. He's done a lot of work on the
- 1:57back end in many different areas of the industry, so we're very
- 2:00happy to have him. So get ready ladies and
- 2:03gentlemen. Happy to be here.
- 2:04You're very kind to me. I'm just OK.
- 2:06Yeah. You're good.
- 2:07You're good. Stop.
- 2:08Stop playing with yourself. You know we have.
- 2:10We have Q doing that enough. We don't need you to.
- 2:12We have. Carl, according to the thing.
- 2:18You know what's funny about Q? He puts these smirks on.
- 2:21He, he is, he is very quiet, but he is an assassin.
- 2:25He will bite your head off. He will find a way to just sit
- 2:29there and make it seem like he's such a nice guy.
- 2:31But he really is very nice man. I'm part of one of the nicest
- 2:34people on this panel. He is not very nice.
- 2:37I'm telling you, ladies and gentlemen, he's not but good
- 2:40dad. He has a good dad and a good
- 2:41husband. Good husband, but painting he as
- 2:44partner, I appreciate that. Yes I can, I can take the rest
- 2:47if you give me that. Good husband, good father,
- 2:49everything else is minute to me. Pass liquor.
- 2:55Go back you. Got to stay away from this butt
- 3:00you've been dealing with a lot of butt.
- 3:02I ran you squeeze the cheese that's.
- 3:06Funny, Miffin looks like he's about to go to jail.
- 3:11Send him there Anyways. We call this Speedy's 6 Pack of
- 3:15the Week. Let's have a sixer.
- 3:19Hey, who wants to play Drink the Beer?
- 3:21It's time for the Speedy 6 pack of the week.
- 3:26Fish is not a panty dropper. I resent that.
- 3:33I got to ask your woman. She's got to tell me the truth.
- 3:37I don't believe it until I have. To You're going to get a chance
- 3:40to meet her this weekend. It's going to be great.
- 3:44Errol's birthday bash number Fofo.
- 3:48Yes Mohegan son, that's what we and if Nathan comes he we, he'll
- 3:53be the ladies man and Mr. steal your girl so be careful.
- 3:56I think Nathan's might be preoccupied.
- 3:59He might not be able to get out for this weekend.
- 4:02I don't know. Yes, Especially Lee.
- 4:04She could. Probably escape from jail with
- 4:05that. At least my rear end is burning.
- 4:14All right, Speedy, lay it on us, brother all.
- 4:16Right, so we've been told to hold off of the Canadians for
- 4:20the until the next segment. So we've got the other two each
- 4:22for the other three teams and we'll start with the Vegas
- 4:25Golden Knights and how good their power play has been.
- 4:29It's showcasing game one where Pavel Deforiev, who's the rookie
- 4:32that's actually leading the NHL in goals right now with ten
- 4:34goals, is leading a Vegas power play with a differential in
- 4:39terms of expected goals of 98.97.
- 4:42Meaning they're allowing that much more than they're giving up
- 4:45or they're scoring that before and they're allowing this
- 4:46postseason. Let's be honest, look at this
- 4:49roster, you have Mitch Marner, Carter Hart, obviously the
- 4:52goaltending, Jack Eichel, Mark Stone who's not healthy.
- 4:56I mean, this roster is loaded from top to bottom.
- 4:58If you look at this roster, you cannot argue that this roster is
- 5:01not going to be able to score goals on the power play.
- 5:04Mitch Marner was the addition in the offseason.
- 5:06Now you had a new coach before the season was over and now
- 5:10they're on a run. They're up 1.
- 5:11Nothing against the Colorado Avalanche.
- 5:14I still think Colorado wins that series.
- 5:15But they've been amazing. They've been absolutely
- 5:18sensational. Speedy.
- 5:19You before before the season you had Vegas winning the whole
- 5:23thing. Yeah, I I joked, I joked with
- 5:24Fish about that early. I did the same thing with the
- 5:262021 Braves. I said they would win at the
- 5:28beginning of the year and then I deviated and shuts into the
- 5:30playoffs because they had to go like come back just to even make
- 5:33it. And they say they were Vegas
- 5:34with the coaching change. I didn't trust but I always
- 5:35stress of the talent with them. Nicky, what are your thoughts?
- 5:39I think maybe, maybe the secret is torts.
- 5:42Not for a full year. I think Tortorello beats.
- 5:45Up the players so badly on in a full year, they hate him so
- 5:48much. By the time the playoffs come
- 5:49around, they're so like beaten down that they're just like, we
- 5:52can't wait to get rid of this guy.
- 5:53But you bring him in when the team's already good, right?
- 5:56And he gets like a, a spell to get him through the home
- 5:59stretch. And maybe that maybe that's the
- 6:00key. If they beat Colorado, if they
- 6:03beat Colorado, they're winning the whole thing because I, I
- 6:06don't think anybody could be Colorado in Montreal, maybe
- 6:09because of what they're doing. I don't trust Carolina.
- 6:12I don't think Carolina's going to be.
- 6:14And we'll get into that in just a few moments.
- 6:15I don't trust Rob Brindemore. If you look at Rob Brindemore's
- 6:17record in the Eastern Conference finals, it's not very good.
- 6:21It's not very good at all all. Right.
- 6:22Moving on to Mitch Martyr, he leads the playoffs in points in
- 6:2519 and primary assists with 1010 of his 12 assists.
- 6:29Our primary assists because the third most ice time total
- 6:32lifetime among forwards as well. Only besides you're our
- 6:34Slakovsky with Montreal and his teammate Jack Eichel.
- 6:37And it's just funny to think that he's another one like Nas
- 6:40and Cadre like many others that have left the Leafs.
- 6:42I just have done great things in the playoffs.
- 6:44He's great, period. Mitch Marner is a speed demon.
- 6:47He's a great kid. 245 goals, 576 assists and 821 points in his
- 6:53career this year. 24 goals, 56 assists in 81 games, 80 points.
- 6:59He averaged the point a game this kids special.
- 7:01He's sensational. And that's why Las Vegas was
- 7:04gunning firm in the offseason and very well done, as I say.
- 7:09Yeah, he's a very talented player.
- 7:10I don't know how Toronto let's these guys leave poor Austin
- 7:13Matthews. Why He's going to the Rangers.
- 7:15There's a lot of stories coming out right now that the Rangers
- 7:18might trade their number 5 picks.
- 7:19McDavid, right? No, I don't think Mcdavid's
- 7:22going anywhere. He's not leaving Edmonton.
- 7:24He's not Wayne Gretz because he's not going to do that.
- 7:27But I I think that Austin Matthews makes a lot of sense.
- 7:30On the interweb about it yesterday.
- 7:32I remember Nash. Remember Nash?
- 7:34He was a great player when he came over there.
- 7:36When he came to the Rangers, the Columbus, he was a decent
- 7:39regularly seasoned player, but he wasn't good in the playoffs.
- 7:41Austin Matthews, if you look at his statistics in the playoffs,
- 7:45they're not very good. He's better in the regular
- 7:47season, not as good in the playoffs.
- 7:48And that's probably why the Maple Leafs have really not gone
- 7:51anywhere in the playoffs. You know, Marner leaves, he
- 7:54goes, he goes to the Vegas, a very good team, very, very well
- 7:57run machine. And look what he's doing right
- 7:59now. So maybe he needs to leave.
- 8:01Maybe he goes to the Rangers and he he's even better in the
- 8:03regular season as he is in the playoffs.
- 8:05I don't trust Chris Drury. So if they make the trade, it
- 8:07might they might trade away that pick and that pick might turn
- 8:09into a stud. So.
- 8:11By the way, by the way, by the way.
- 8:12Two of the ESPN hockey analysts were also saying when I was
- 8:14saying going to call your shot a few weeks ago, Austin Matthews
- 8:17or or Conor McDavid, if he does become available to Minnesota,
- 8:21has a possibility. David, it's not going to the
- 8:24Rangers. There's no way.
- 8:25I don't think he he's going to be available.
- 8:27He's going to Edmonton. I mean, he stays with Edmonton.
- 8:29He's not going anywhere. All right, let's go to the
- 8:31Colorado Ambulance, the team that beat the Minnesota Wild.
- 8:34So they have the expected goal differential percentage and
- 8:38differential lead in the playoffs among any teams when it
- 8:41comes to just five on five hockey.
- 8:43Not power play. Vegas I was talking about with
- 8:45the power play 6.78 is 2.1 points but Hub the next highest
- 8:49team which is Carolina and the expected goal percentage 57.26
- 8:53better than everybody still remaining in the playoffs.
- 8:56Well, you got Devin Thames, you got Brock Nelson, you got a very
- 9:00good team in Cal Macar. This is a loaded team.
- 9:03This is probably the most talented team we've seen in a
- 9:06very long time. I mean, they had a cadre at the
- 9:09trade deadline. Landon Scogg can't stay healthy,
- 9:12but he he's still somewhat good. You got Brett Burns.
- 9:15This guy was defensive player of the year.
- 9:17I I mean, there's nothing they don't have that they can't win
- 9:21with and, and that's why they're as good as a they are.
- 9:23The fact that they're down 1, nothing against Las Vegas says a
- 9:26lot about Vegas and, and the way this, this organization and this
- 9:29team runs. But I still think with the
- 9:31talent that they have on this roster, I I think they win in
- 9:34seven. I, I said this is going to be a
- 9:367 game series, but Colorado is the better team and Cal Macar is
- 9:40not healthy. When Cal Macar if, if he's on
- 9:43that roster and he's playing, he changes the game right in front
- 9:46of your eyes. I mean, he's as good as any
- 9:48player in the league at his position.
- 9:49He's probably going to win. What is it the Norris Trophy
- 9:52best defense man. So I think he wins this year.
- 9:55He's a sensational player. Yeah, I agree with the arrow top
- 10:01to bottom, probably most talented team, especially left
- 10:03in the in the playoffs. And yeah, I think it's going to
- 10:06be a deep series, series with Vegas, but I think ultimately
- 10:10the Stanley Cup winners coming out of the West.
- 10:12All right, you mentioned landing Scott.
- 10:13He's actually the the subject of my next part.
- 10:15So he's actually in the offensive zone on 28.8% of his
- 10:20ice time, which is the best by far among any player left.
- 10:24Nathan Mckinnon's in the team and 2nd at 24.4%.
- 10:27Who cares? I I mean, he's played 60 games
- 10:30this year. He has fourteen goals and 21
- 10:32assists and 35 points. He's the captain of his team.
- 10:34He's not been the same player since he's come back from his
- 10:36injury. He was out almost a year and a
- 10:38half. I think this is his last run
- 10:41with the Colorado Avalanche. I expect him to be gone next
- 10:44year. Either they move him or they do
- 10:46something with him. He's no longer going to be a
- 10:48part of this organization. They got too much talent around
- 10:51and and they got a great farm. Since Joe Sackett has a great
- 10:54farm system, he's got 2 great young players coming up in the
- 10:57farm system. So I think this will be the last
- 10:59time you see Landing's GOG on this team.
- 11:01So hopefully they win a Stanley Cup with him and he can fly off
- 11:05into the sunset because he will not be with this team next year.
- 11:07I like Landing's GOG. I think he's a great.
- 11:09He was a great player at one point of his career, this first,
- 11:12I mean, he's been. So good for so long.
- 11:14So it's really hard to say anything disparaging against
- 11:16him. You know, it's like you don't
- 11:18want to see him play anywhere else.
- 11:20He's he's been there for so long.
- 11:22All right, So if you look at his career in in the last, and I'll
- 11:25say this, if you look at his last two years and I'm trying to
- 11:28bring up his numbers, they haven't been good.
- 11:31And maybe because of injury, maybe just because he's not the
- 11:34same player, he doesn't have the speed he used to have.
- 11:37But this kid is, and I call him a kid because I could say he's a
- 11:40kid because he's a lot younger than me.
- 11:42He's not the same player he once was.
- 11:45And and again, when you're looking at a 33 year old, he's
- 11:48it's not he's not at the tail end of his career, but his prime
- 11:51is over with all the injuries he's had.
- 11:53So that that would be my argument to it.
- 11:56I think he's probably on his way out after this season.
- 11:59I think they are, they're going to make Nathan McKinnon as the
- 12:02future captain of this team. He's he's arguably their best
- 12:06player. So.
- 12:07All right, we'll now go to the Hurricanes.
- 12:08I did my last time the the six the six degrees of the Mika
- 12:12rotten in trade 6. Degrees of separation with that.
- 12:15With the young stud that the the Keynes got in the deal is Logan
- 12:19Stankoven. He's tied for third with seven
- 12:21playoff goals right now, but it's done it on just 5.9 shots
- 12:24per game, which is actually 26th among players in the playoffs
- 12:28right now and playing in four or less games, obviously because
- 12:30they swept their way through the 1st 2 rounds.
- 12:32First of all, I want to say something.
- 12:33They're down. They're up 4 to 2.
- 12:36Montreal's up four to two against Carolina.
- 12:38Carolina hasn't lost a game in the playoffs, right?
- 12:41They haven't lost the game. They haven't lost the game.
- 12:43And I said as soon as they bump into Montreal of the Sabres,
- 12:46that's where everything's going to crash, crash down with them.
- 12:49As far as their team and their talent.
- 12:51I don't think anything can argue with the players that they have.
- 12:54They're they're the future of the Eastern Conference.
- 12:57I mean, there are other teams that have great players, but
- 12:59this team is loaded. And I always say I'm trying to
- 13:03Slavikowski, Slavkowski, he's a young player, he's a stud.
- 13:09And what he's done, what he's done in the playoffs this year,
- 13:12in 14 games, he has four goals, 5 assists, 9 points -8 he's been
- 13:16sensational and he's been, he's a big guy, big kid.
- 13:20You can't push around when he gets the puck and he's
- 13:22protecting the puck. He's almost impossible to take
- 13:25the puck away from. And that's, those are the kind
- 13:27of players you love to watch. He's sensational to watch.
- 13:30Any thoughts? Yeah, a ton of talent on
- 13:32Carolina. I hate Carolina as a Ranger fan
- 13:36also you know just looking around the playoffs how many ex
- 13:38Rangers are still in the playoffs?
- 13:40It's it's really disheartening. Oh.
- 13:42Yeah, and our our Rangers fans favorite one of the last two
- 13:44years, key Andre Miller still on.
- 13:46And he's had A and, and he's had a great year.
- 13:49In 82 games, he had thirty goals and 43 assists and 73 points.
- 13:53He, he's been I, I didn't know, I, I forgot that he was the
- 13:56number one pick of the draft a couple of years.
- 13:58It was an unconventional year, like it wasn't like a year where
- 14:01it was like there was an obvious number one pick probably besides
- 14:04Buffaloes with Owen Power where he wasn't the definitive #1
- 14:06either It's it's the only year where you didn't have a Bedard
- 14:09or a Celebrini or anyone like that.
- 14:10So that's why I got lost to the shuffle.
- 14:12All right the last one is based on their defense was historic in
- 14:15the first two series 11 goals only eleven goals allowed in
- 14:20which is I think third all time through a team's first eight
- 14:24games, only 36 medium danger shots, which are not the highest
- 14:28of potential, but still very good quality shots, which is 12
- 14:32more than the next highest team left, which is Colorado you're.
- 14:35Talking about Montreal. Talking about Carolina.
- 14:38Here's the thing. Carolina didn't beat anybody.
- 14:41Who did they beat? Who did they beat?
- 14:43They beat Philadelphia. They beat nobody.
- 14:46Who did they beat? So you sit here and you're
- 14:49talking about Carolina. And no offense to Carolina.
- 14:51For the Carolina fans, Frederick has played very good as a
- 14:54goaltender, but he's never showed up in the players.
- 14:56He's never healthy. So think about it.
- 14:58Carolina I, I don't trust. I love Rob Brindlemore as a
- 15:02player. I loved him when he played for
- 15:03Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. In his career, Carolina hasn't
- 15:07beaten anybody. They're finally going to play A
- 15:09team like Montreal, who's beating them 4 to 2, is probably
- 15:12going to spake him 5 or 6 to 2 by the end of this game.
- 15:15There. I just Carolina, you look at Rob
- 15:17Brindlemore, there's numbers in the playoffs, in the Eastern
- 15:20Conference finals, they're not good and they keep extending
- 15:22this guy, his nose is more interesting than his.
- 15:25His record in favorite conference, his nose is probably
- 15:28more interesting to look at, by the way, so.
- 15:31I disagree. I think I think hockey more than
- 15:34any other sport, like getting hot at the right time and and
- 15:37riding that wave into the playoffs is what is what, you
- 15:40know, the Champions normally do. I think Carolina is is a very,
- 15:45very good team that's playing very well at the right time all.
- 15:49Right, we'll. Do it well, I will.
- 15:50I will give you some information about the Montreal Canadians
- 15:54that people don't know. Montreal to me is, is, first of
- 15:59all, Matt Martin St. Louis is one of my favorite
- 16:02coaches, one of my favorite players to watch.
- 16:04I watched, I couldn't stand that he went to the Rangers.
- 16:06I'll let everybody know that I'm not a Ranger fan.
- 16:08I'm an Island fan. So I couldn't stand Martin St.
- 16:10Louis when he was there. I I felt bad when his mother
- 16:13passed away and he played through the playoffs and he did
- 16:16what he did. So I have a lot of respect for
- 16:18him. But I think he's one of the best
- 16:20coaches in the NHL right now. He's he's really working this
- 16:24young Montreal Canadian team. He's getting them to play and
- 16:28and they're fun to watch. They've got so much talent.
- 16:30This team is going to be good. They traded for no adoption in
- 16:33the offseason. They gave up two first round
- 16:35draft picks to the Islanders. The Islanders got themselves two
- 16:37really good players, but they got a great defenseman who's
- 16:40been sensational for them all season long.
- 16:43And look at they're in the Eastern Conference finals.
- 16:45This isn't the last time you're going to see Montreal in the
- 16:47Eastern Conference finals. And I'm going to tell you this
- 16:49right now. They beat Carolina in five
- 16:51games. Carolina is not good.
- 16:53And I, I, I've always thought they were overrated the way the
- 16:56whole playoffs sat with them. I, I again, I, I just don't
- 17:00trust their goaltending. I don't trust their goaltending.
- 17:03Montreal's goaltending, on the other hand, they got a young
- 17:05kid. How do you pronounce his name?
- 17:07Jacob Dobis. Dobis, who has it like a, what
- 17:09is it? Like his S is like a dollar sign
- 17:12or something like that. It's like, weird, you know, I, I
- 17:15actually like the jersey. I believe he was the Chekia
- 17:17goalie in the Olympics. Yeah, he he's fun to watch.
- 17:20He's been hot. He's playing at a high level
- 17:22right now and they're getting great goaltending.
- 17:23And when you get a great goaltender and a hot goaltender,
- 17:26we all know what happens when that happens.
- 17:28So I I think Montreal has a very good chance.
- 17:30You say that whoever comes out of the West winds, not the way
- 17:33Montreal's going. I.
- 17:34Don't think that's guaranteed either.
- 17:36I, I have them in six games. I have Vegas in seven.
- 17:38And I think Montreal could be Vegas too with their speed.
- 17:41And remember, there's, there's a couple of guys on that roster.
- 17:44Despite it being a very fluky year with the, the the COVID
- 17:46shortened year, they still have a couple of guys on that team
- 17:49with experience from that that that run.
- 17:52So it's not impossible for them to win.
- 17:53I would probably favor Vegas more if that was the match of
- 17:55Vegas and Montreal, but I, I, I wouldn't, I can't cut out
- 17:58Montreal by any means. I just.
- 17:59See the West as being more seasoned and talented.
- 18:01I think the East is a little younger.
- 18:05I think, like you said, Montreal young.
- 18:07They're going to be there for a while.
- 18:08You're going to, this isn't a fluke for them.
- 18:10You're going to keep seeing them.
- 18:11I just don't think it's going to be their year to to finish it
- 18:13out, I think. They were saying Montreal I
- 18:15believe is the 4th youngest in terms of average age to reach a
- 18:18conference finals. I just want to see the Knicks
- 18:20choke in this game. I'm going to tell you this right
- 18:22now, they better not choke this game.
- 18:24They better not do what the the Cavaliers did because I will.
- 18:27That will really piss me off. And then I'm going to have to
- 18:29box with Q when I see him. I might have to move this 66 and
- 18:32give him a nice little few jabs, you know, throw a couple jabs
- 18:36and uppercuts. You know Q doesn't want any part
- 18:38of this baby he doesn't want a part of.
- 18:40This he's been, he's real tall. You got to get in close dirty.
- 18:42Box, you got to get to the body, man.
- 18:44You get to the body. Little dirty.
- 18:45Boxing boom. Boom, right into the uppercut.
- 18:48Oh those nut sacks gone. Anyways, the Montreal Canadiens
- 18:52beat the Buffalo Sabres treated 2 on an overtime goal by Alex
- 18:56Newhook in game #7 the Sabres forced in game seven with an 8
- 19:01three win in game six in Montreal Tide tied for the most
- 19:06they've ever had in the play in a playoff game, but couldn't
- 19:10find that I'm sorry couldn't find that same scoring success
- 19:13in Game 7 despite out score out shooting the Canadians 39 to 25.
- 19:18Lindy Ruff said the loss sucked, but it's but is proud to be back
- 19:25as a Sabres head coach and believes their young core seemed
- 19:28like they like playing in the city of Buffalo all year.
- 19:32The Sabres also extended Ruff's contract another two years,
- 19:35keeping him in Buffalo until 2008. 2008 season the Sabres
- 19:40were last in the Eastern Conference on December 8th and
- 19:43and only lost nine games in regulation for the rest of the
- 19:47season and finished with the 4th most points in the NHL.
- 19:50The Sabres will enter the offseason with about 12.9
- 19:53million in cap space. 12.9 million is they they can add a
- 19:57player in the offseason. They can add a big *.
- 20:01And they do get more money, aren't they?
- 20:03Yeah. The caps should go up so it
- 20:05might be a little more than that.
- 20:06You could probably get 2 decent players or three like good role
- 20:10players. The.
- 20:11Knicks are choking. The Knicks are choking.
- 20:13Ladies and gentlemen. They're choking.
- 20:15They're turning into the Cavaliers.
- 20:17I'm going to have a heart attack if they if they lose this game.
- 20:21Anyways, here's the thing. I wanted the Buffalo Sabres to
- 20:25win. I love the Buffalo Sabres.
- 20:27I, I think they're a good young team.
- 20:29I like what I, I love Tash Thompson, I love, I, I like
- 20:33Lindy Roth. He used to coach the Florida
- 20:35Panthers. So he he's, he's deep into my
- 20:37heart. But I, the Canadians are the
- 20:40better young team right now. They're the hungrier team.
- 20:43They've got a tremendous team when you look at their roster
- 20:45and the roster is loaded with some good young players.
- 20:48We we just made, we just mentioned the goaltender.
- 20:50How about Caulfield Suzuki? We we Slavkowski.
- 20:54I mean, they've got some great young players and they're only
- 20:57coming up. Montreal has been bad for such a
- 20:59long time, since they went to the Stanley Cup finals when they
- 21:02beat the Islanders. Since then they've been chasing
- 21:05after win after win. They added Martin St.
- 21:08Louis a couple of years ago. He's helped develop these
- 21:10players. I love what I see with some of
- 21:13the players that they're being brought up at Gallagher.
- 21:15They have some new hook. All these guys that they have on
- 21:18this roster. They've got a future and
- 21:21something that I I said when Montreal went to the the Stanley
- 21:23Cup finals, they had carry price, they overpaid carry
- 21:26price. They have a tremendous core of
- 21:29young players and they got the right coach there that's going
- 21:32to help these guys develop. A lot of these guys are
- 21:34Canadians. So Martin St.
- 21:37Louis and and Montreal has really developed a core of
- 21:40players and, and growth where this team could, could be in the
- 21:44Eastern Conference finals. Every single year.
- 21:46We talk about what we've seen with Carolina, the dominance of
- 21:48Carolina over the years in the Pittsburgh Penguins when they
- 21:50won 2 Stanley Cups with Crosby and a mall kid.
- 21:55This is a team that has a tremendous back end of
- 21:59executives and this is an organization that hasn't won a
- 22:02championship in in a long time. But guess what?
- 22:05As bad as they've been and as bad as these Canadian teams have
- 22:08been, and especially the Maple Leafs have been absolutely
- 22:11horrendous, the Montreal Canadiens have a core of players
- 22:15that we can see. I would say they have about 5
- 22:18players that could be All Stars every single year for the next
- 22:21couple of years and they're only going to get better.
- 22:23And we, like I said, I gave you five guys, but they've got about
- 22:26two top lines in the NHL that you could put them as #1 lines
- 22:32in the NHL. So they're sensational to watch.
- 22:35And I want to see, I want to see them win the Stanley Cup because
- 22:38that says a lot about what the way hockey is transitioning.
- 22:41Everybody talks about all these teams.
- 22:43We we talk about where Rangers and Islander fans and we love
- 22:47the Buffalo, Buffalo Sabres of what they're doing.
- 22:49But if you look at the elite teams in the NHL over the years,
- 22:52the Florida Panthers, they won back-to-back championships.
- 22:54Everybody thought they were going to be there this year.
- 22:56I did. And then they got injured,
- 22:57injured and, and with all the different things that we've seen
- 23:00in the in the in, you know, at the end of the season with the
- 23:02Florida Panthers trading off pieces and all that other stuff,
- 23:05I look I look at the Montreal Canadiens, These guys are under
- 23:09contract. They're young.
- 23:11Who's the oldest player on this team?
- 23:13Gallagher, Who's? Out. 34, I think 33.
- 23:15And is he the captain of the? I don't even know, I think.
- 23:17He's an assistant captain. Yeah.
- 23:19I and he was a player that they added to the team.
- 23:21So I just think it's, it's great to watch.
- 23:25And I, I want Martin St. Louis to have, you know, to win
- 23:28and, and, and, and stand out because this is a guy that has
- 23:33won a championship. He did it in Tampa and he has an
- 23:37opportunity to do it as a head coach and he's just a likable
- 23:41person. A likable person, yeah.
- 23:42And you definitely look at a team that was ahead of schedule
- 23:45last year, even to playing with a Washington team that was #1 in
- 23:48the Eastern Conference, very close last year.
- 23:51And Montreal. I think the reason I thought
- 23:53they were going to beat Buffalo is more of their defensive
- 23:55depth. I thought more of their their
- 23:57center depth later on that I thought just was a little bit
- 24:00better than Buffalo's. Buffalo had.
- 24:02I think more, I wouldn't say more of the top heavy stars, but
- 24:05enough of the top heavy stars were at all levels with Darlene,
- 24:08obviously with Tage Thompson, who could play both center and
- 24:10wing at a very high level. And Montreal had that kind of
- 24:13thing with Lane Hudson, like you were saying with no adoption.
- 24:15We've criticized no adoption for his lack of defensive awareness
- 24:18sometimes when he was with the Islanders and I think something
- 24:21that had to do with the system, but he got a lot better with
- 24:23that with Lane Hudson playing with that in Montreal.
- 24:26I don't know if Buffalo had that level of it consistently yet
- 24:29with bringing in Byron. Byron played a very well at the
- 24:32end of the season last year. Obviously you were at his draft
- 24:34when he was drafted by Colorado, 4th overall.
- 24:37They traded him last year for Casey middle stat and he did
- 24:40well at the end of the season but didn't really get it
- 24:42together the whole time. And then Power, same kind of
- 24:44thing. He's a number one pick who's
- 24:45played well but still needs a little more room to develop.
- 24:47And I love Buffalo. I think Buffalo is going to be
- 24:49here for many, many years, too. They have a young team.
- 24:52Dalene, I was there at his draft when he was drafted and
- 24:55everybody said that this guy was going to be the future and one
- 24:57of the best defenseman in the NHL.
- 24:58He's starting to really develop into that.
- 25:01It took him a couple of years because in the beginning Buffalo
- 25:04was so bad. They were just poorly run
- 25:06organization and then they made moves.
- 25:09Tage Thompson wasn't a guy that they drafted.
- 25:11They traded for Tage Thompson from Saint Louis and he's
- 25:13developed into one of the best American born players in in the
- 25:17world right now. And they've got some great young
- 25:19players and and they've been fishing for goaltending.
- 25:23They they've added goaltending and free agency.
- 25:25Alex Lyon, all these guys, they they've had great goaltending
- 25:28over the years that they drafted.
- 25:30We we all know the the talent that they had in the past,
- 25:33Dominic Kasich being another one.
- 25:34They had American, well, who's the American goalie?
- 25:36That was Brian Miller, Ryan Miller, who was the the goal,
- 25:39the starting goaltender for Team USA for many, many years.
- 25:41So they've always had great goaltending, but now I think
- 25:44they have an abundance of talent around them, defense and offense
- 25:48and, and they built it through being bad for so many years.
- 25:51When you're bad for so many years, you put talent around and
- 25:55and you just got to make one or two really good moves and get
- 25:57you add players and that could really translate transition an
- 26:00organization. And you're seeing it now.
- 26:02Yeah. And you're seeing it with I like
- 26:04Lindy Ruff was saying when I bring up those comments, a team
- 26:06that wanted these guys wanted to stay there last year, they were
- 26:09thinking of their these guys are going to request trades.
- 26:11Like who's going to want to keep playing in Buffalo?
- 26:13Like it's another young year the other year with these young
- 26:15players, these #1 picks are just not hyped up to be what they
- 26:18are. And you still saw that kind of
- 26:20distrust. The trade deadline when Colton
- 26:22Perico rejected a trade to go to the Buffalo Sabres.
- 26:25He had a no trade clause, got wanted to go from the Blues.
- 26:27They wanted to give him an offer and he didn't want to go there.
- 26:30So maybe maybe if he's there, do they win?
- 26:32I don't know. But it's I don't think you're
- 26:34going to get that level of thing going to the next offseason
- 26:37where now you're seeing Lindy Rough establish that level of a
- 26:39culture there. You have veteran guys like Alex
- 26:42Tuck that I think is going to be wanting these players to cut to
- 26:45come there. And still, again, like I said,
- 26:48enough money to spend where you're going to get either maybe
- 26:5021 good one star good player or three decent role players to
- 26:55just fill out that depth because they have a lot of offensive
- 26:57depth already. Jack Quinn's look good.
- 26:59Shane Doan's son Josh has looked pretty good.
- 27:02He had, I believe he had a goal in that Game 6 as well.
- 27:04So they have enough pieces on the offense.
- 27:06They need to get the defense up more because that's the biggest
- 27:08thing to help the goal tending because we've seen teams win
- 27:11nowadays with these goalie platoons.
- 27:13Even a lot of the teams left like Vegas have Carter Hart
- 27:16coming out of nowhere and playing well.
- 27:17Colorado's got to be as your your favorite goalie tending the
- 27:20double wood with both ex Devil's goalie with Wedgewood and
- 27:23Blackwood playing well. They're not like stars, but in a
- 27:26good system they can make it work.
- 27:27They just need the defensive depth and the system to make it
- 27:30overall work because they have the offense to make it work long
- 27:32term. They've got a lot of great young
- 27:34players and, and these two, these two teams, just like we've
- 27:38seen with Vegas and Colorado, Colorado still, they're going to
- 27:42be good for many, many years to come because Joe Sakic re UPS
- 27:45every single year and and he is sensational to watch.
- 27:48And the same thing with Vegas. For some reason when Vegas
- 27:51there's a big free agent that becomes available for some
- 27:54reason, they get them. Jack Eichel was one of them.
- 27:56They they traded for Jack and then they signed Jack.
- 27:59Everybody thought he was going to go, they signed them.
- 28:01So they they find ways to get these players in and that's why
- 28:03they're fun to watch. They're like the Rams of the
- 28:05NHL, Like they it seems like they besides the first year they
- 28:08existed, it seems like they never have a first round pick
- 28:10because they always trade it. They trade it for Stone, They
- 28:12trade it for Hurdle at the last. Second, they got him at the
- 28:14deadline when I wanted the Rangers to get him.
- 28:16I remember that 23 I believe. But now that Buffalo and
- 28:19Montreal are teams that you want to play for and, and that's why
- 28:22I think they're going to be be good teams for many, many years
- 28:25to come because you're young, they've got 2.
- 28:27Lindy Ruff, say whatever you want.
- 28:28I remember when he was with the Devils, he was with the
- 28:31Panthers. Everyone wanted fire with the
- 28:32Devils. I know that.
- 28:34And he goes to Buffalo, He's been with the Buffalo Sabres
- 28:36before. He's been a coach over there at
- 28:38Buffalo. And now he's got a young team, a
- 28:40dynamic young team that he can coach up.
- 28:42Lindy Ruff is more than one of the more underrated coaches in
- 28:46the, the NHL. So I, I think this team has a
- 28:50chance to win and and Lindy Ruff is a good guy And I, I think
- 28:53that both these teams are have a very good chance to really
- 28:55succeed in the very near future. So you know, Errol, I was in
- 28:58College in Buffalo when Lindy Ruff was there last time.
- 29:01The last time they were really good, they won the Presidents
- 29:03Cup. I think it was like either 06 or
- 29:0507. I remember going to the playoff
- 29:07series when Jager and Neilander lost to Drury's Sabres before he
- 29:12came over. I was at that game five that
- 29:15they tied it up. It was it was terrible moment of
- 29:17Rangers history. Of course I was there for it.
- 29:19But I will say the fans in Buffalo, it's the same guys as
- 29:23the Bills fans. There's there's just as die hard
- 29:25about their hockey. They really know their hockey
- 29:27well up there. They all play hockey growing up.
- 29:30It's a big deal to them up there.
- 29:32And the fact that they have a good team is really special.
- 29:35Like they deserve a good hockey team.
- 29:38I think they're really happy for him, Speedy.
- 29:40We got to get Rob Ray on the show.
- 29:42Yeah, he wanted to come on last year too.
- 29:44I remember. Let's.
- 29:45Get Rob Ray on the show because Rob Ray is one of the the, one
- 29:48of the nicest guy. But when, when he played on, you
- 29:51know, hockey with Matthew Barnaby, one of the nastiest
- 29:53fighters in NHL history, and he's been on the show a couple
- 29:57of times. Me and Rob have gone back and
- 29:59forth when it comes to arguments with hockey, but the guy is a
- 30:02sensational analyst. He works with the Buffalo Sabres
- 30:06and just a such a nice guy. He has no teeth still, but a guy
- 30:10that if anybody remembers fighters in NHL history, Rob Ray
- 30:14was one of the nastiest ones. I was.
- 30:15Trying to get him on last year he said he was interested but I
- 30:18never got a date in time for him.
- 30:19I also. Wanted to hear how the
- 30:20experience because he what he was reporting in the 2024 season
- 30:24he got hit on the head with a puck and shook it off like it
- 30:26was nothing. Yeah, well, that's Rob Ray for
- 30:29you. I, I mean, and I'll say this, I
- 30:31met a lot of hockey players off off air and guys that I looked
- 30:35up to when I was a kid. When you meet these guys and,
- 30:38and I'll tell you this, they look a lot bigger on television
- 30:41than when you meet him in person.
- 30:43Sure, I, I will say that. And they're, they're very funny.
- 30:47Hockey players are very down to earth.
- 30:48They'll sit down and have a conversation with you and they
- 30:52want to know what you think about them.
- 30:54So in basketball, if you go to LeBron, LeBron James, don't give
- 30:57a crap what you think of him. He really could care less what
- 31:00you think of him. He's got millions and billions
- 31:02of dollars. He could care less what you
- 31:03think. And in the NFL, as we have Mr.
- 31:06Q, who really could give a crap what you think of them.
- 31:11So I mean, Jabba, Jabba didn't care what you thought of them.
- 31:13But there, there's certain personalities that do care what
- 31:17you think of them. But I, I think that hockey
- 31:20players, out of all the players that I've interviewed, I've
- 31:23interviewed probably around probably 300 hockey players, ex
- 31:28NHL players, great players and or even players in the league.
- 31:32I would say this hockey players are the most laid back, honest
- 31:37athletes I've ever met. They'll tell you straight up
- 31:41what they think about certain things.
- 31:43And they won't even beat around the Bush.
- 31:45By the way, they get the hottest checks too.
- 31:46I'm not going to lie to. You before, before we get off of
- 31:50hockey and get into honestly, I have some of the craziest
- 31:52stories for you I think I've ever had and dial it up.
- 31:54But Carter Hart, you mentioned him a couple of times back.
- 31:59What a what a crazy season he's had.
- 32:01Because if you remember, he was one of the five guys that were
- 32:04banned from the league because of this world junior hockey
- 32:07scandal. He was acquitted along with the
- 32:09other guys. He immediately got signed,
- 32:11brought back and look at him now.
- 32:14I mean it. What a whirlwind story.
- 32:16I think not enough has been made of it.
- 32:19Good for that guy. I don't know much about Carter
- 32:22Hart, but I know that he was one of the best young goaltending
- 32:24prospects in Philadelphia. And unfortunately he got mixed
- 32:28up or they got mixed up with the wrong woman and you get in
- 32:33trouble and they they're the other guys are still not in the
- 32:36NHL. So Carter Hart got an
- 32:38opportunity because he was a great goalie.
- 32:40They gave him a chance. Vegas gave him a chance.
- 32:42And maybe Vegas wins the championship with him and, and
- 32:45relinquishes his career and he he turns, he turns something
- 32:49into, you know, nothing into something and, and wins himself
- 32:53a big contract in the offseason. But congratulations to Carter
- 32:56Hart. I I like I said, there are a lot
- 32:58of people look at Bauer. Trevor Bauer has been, you know,
- 33:01thrown around people beat him up.
- 33:03I write stories all the time to try to hype him up and, and for
- 33:06some reason nobody likes the guy because they think that he did
- 33:09all these things, but there is no information to say that he,
- 33:14he, the accusations were real and, and those ladies that
- 33:17accused him owe him money. So everybody hates him because
- 33:21the league hates him because of what he's done, the crazy things
- 33:25on and off the field and some of the things that he said to the
- 33:27media. But I'll tell you this, I met
- 33:30Trevor Bauer 3 or 4 times and and the guy is one of the most
- 33:34down to earth personalities you'll ever meet.
- 33:36So I don't get it. I don't get it.
- 33:40That's all I'm going to say about that.
- 33:41You you just don't know until you meet him.
- 33:42And you can't judge somebody until you have a conversation
- 33:45with them. And I'm one of those guys.
- 33:47People think I'm an asshole. Excuse my language, but that's
- 33:50what people think. They don't know me.
- 33:52So the first thing they say is that guy's a jerk.
- 33:54I don't want to. He's an idiot.
- 33:56I read his stories just because I want to hear what he's got to
- 33:58say so I can pick on him. But the truth is, if you know me
- 34:02personally, if you if you're friends with me, I am one of the
- 34:04most down to earth personalities you'll ever meet.
- 34:07I'll have a conversation with you.
- 34:08I'm sitting at the bar. Speedy, you heard it.
- 34:11Remember that guy sitting at the bar?
- 34:12He came up to me and says, Oh, well, you don't like basketball.
- 34:15I said, I do a radio show. He said.
- 34:17And as soon as I said that, he said, you're the mouth, you're
- 34:19the guy. I listen to your show.
- 34:21I love your show. And I'm like, it's like, it's
- 34:23cool that you come in here and you're you're eating dinner and
- 34:25you don't care that you're around people.
- 34:27And I said I come here to eat and it was cool but he didn't
- 34:31shut up the whole night and I was eating my dinner so I
- 34:34couldn't even enjoy my meal, my mozzarella sticks and all the
- 34:38other stuffs that I eat. But that's why I tried to stay
- 34:41away. But I respect.
- 34:43The Are you a marinara sauce sky or are you not a dipper of?
- 34:46I don't like mozzarella. I don't like marinara.
- 34:48No, I don't like. It you don't dip it in anything,
- 34:51just straight up straight up hot oil.
- 34:52Grease. I like it, man.
- 34:54I like it like that. I like the cheese.
- 34:56I like that Dickie likes that too.
- 34:58I mean, Q doesn't like any of that because Q has to take care
- 35:01of his beautiful physique. It's going to be.
- 35:04It's got to be. Able to do that for a
- 35:05distinguished gentleman marinara he's.
- 35:07Going to be sad, right? Very picky eater there.
- 35:12You go where you go. Cute, sexy.
- 35:15That's how you describe a man. You don't describe a man with
- 35:17sex. Mozzarella stick.
- 35:19Are you telling? Eating like a six year old.
- 35:21First of all, who doesn't eat mozzarella sticks?
- 35:24Mozzarella. Yeah, yeah.
- 35:26I'm gonna help you out here. I will by the time you're done.
- 35:28Italian. Yes.
- 35:31You gotta you gotta talk like a New Yorker.
- 35:33New Yorker. Not like a a Georgian.
- 35:35A Georgian. I'll pass.
- 35:37I'm. I'm asking North Carolina.
- 35:38I just reside not Carolina. Not Carolina.
- 35:41Like it, boy. Yeah.
- 35:42Cackalac it. All right, Mr. Belichick.
- 35:44Cackalac it. Yeah, I like to cackalac it with
- 35:46you know who. Anyway, so we we call this dial
- 35:49it up. We're up this regularly
- 35:52scheduled hot mix to bring you important news.
- 35:54We got a big broadcast to do here.
- 35:57We're about to dial it up. Speedy sleeps with endangered
- 36:01animals. And This is why he's in jail.
- 36:05Welcome back to Dial It Up, everyone's favorite Lightning
- 36:10Round 4 segment 5 stories. Errol doesn't know what they
- 36:13are. He's going to react to them,
- 36:15dial up a take, and then one of us will react to his reaction.
- 36:19Are you guys ready for Dial? Let's go, let's go.
- 36:24All right, first story and they're they're a couple of not
- 36:28so crazy ones. And then some of the craziest
- 36:29things I've ever seen and dial it up.
- 36:32Gary and Keith, if you were watching the Mets, we were
- 36:35actually on the air at the time. They ended up scoring 10 runs or
- 36:3912. Was it 10 runs in the 12th or
- 36:41twelve runs in the 10th? Whatever it was, it was
- 36:43ridiculous. And the they were trying to put
- 36:46in a position player to pitch because at this point, what does
- 36:49it matter? The umpires stop the game for
- 36:53about 5-10, somewhere almost 10 minutes.
- 36:56And Gary and Keith, who wanted to go home, just let them have
- 36:59it, destroyed them. And Gary eventually catches them
- 37:02and tells them, tells the the stands that it's truly
- 37:05embarrassing. The umpires didn't know the
- 37:07rule. Have you ever seen more
- 37:10disgruntled people staying at a game that should be over?
- 37:14You've been at these games that never end and you know it's
- 37:17already over. Gary and Keith, they've been
- 37:20doing this a long time. How about you all?
- 37:24Right let's get into Gary and Keith.
- 37:26You're making a nice chump of chunk of change right now.
- 37:31The Mets are paying you and you're worried about well, they
- 37:34don't know the rules just sit there talking to Mike and get
- 37:37paid. Why are you complaining about I
- 37:39want to go home. Do they know the rules?
- 37:42Hey, I have heard so many things on live radio and television
- 37:46from Gary and Keith, and even who's the other guy?
- 37:49That's some of the stuff that comes out of them.
- 37:51Ron Darling, during the playoffs last year, who's he was calling
- 37:55a game with the Yankees. How many mistakes did he make
- 37:58calling a Yankee game? He didn't even know how to
- 38:00pronounce some of the guys. He called him Shetler.
- 38:02He didn't call him Schlittler. He made a mistake on calling his
- 38:05name. So I mean, yeah, the umpires are
- 38:08idiots. They they're using all these,
- 38:10all the new technology, AI and all this other stuff.
- 38:12It's great. But there's so many rules being
- 38:15changed because you have guys like Mr. Manfred, Manfred
- 38:18opening his mouth and trying to change rules.
- 38:20So if I was an umpire, I'm trying to figure out what the
- 38:23book is trying to sell to me and, and how it how it works
- 38:26and, and what rule works with this and how this works with
- 38:29that. I mean, it, it's hard when
- 38:31you're an umpire now because you don't even know if you're going
- 38:33to call the player, you're going to have the AI call it for you.
- 38:35That's my take on that. So yeah, the rule that was.
- 38:38Configured is a weird one because it was just one change
- 38:40after the COVID year so anyone could.
- 38:44Position players can only pitch when they're up or down six runs
- 38:48either way. And they put the one disclaimer
- 38:51is they can always pitch an extra inning.
- 38:53So that was the controversy there, that this umpires, these
- 38:55umpires didn't know and they bring in a position player.
- 38:58The Mets already scored five of those ten runs.
- 39:00They scored in that inning already.
- 39:01So they wanted to bring in a position player and the umpire
- 39:03said, no, no, we're not going to allow you to do that.
- 39:05Then they allowed it to happen. That's where the configuration
- 39:07of. It's a wacky rule, but yeah,
- 39:09definitely one that if you're especially a veteran umpire.
- 39:12But why are they complaining? Why are they?
- 39:14Complaining like. Oh, I got to go home.
- 39:17Why don't you just sit, Sit down and shut up.
- 39:20Just watch the game. But you know everything.
- 39:22Gary and Keith know everything. Keith sniffed a lot of cocaine,
- 39:26and Gary probably helped them. Yeah, well, Gary.
- 39:29Is one that always references a lot of those obscure rules
- 39:31during his broadcast, so I guess he has a little bit more of a
- 39:34mindset than those umpires set on that day.
- 39:37Honestly, who would want? To sit and sniff cocaine with
- 39:40Keith Hernandez and maybe Lawrence Taylor, that would be
- 39:43fun. An 8 ball in the second-half.
- 39:45Could you imagine that guy coming out and trying to kill
- 39:47you and clothesline you sniffing cocaine?
- 39:50An 8 ball. An 8 ball.
- 39:51That's what he sniffed every second-half.
- 39:54Could you imagine that? I mean, QQ probably would have
- 39:57ran through a wall if you were sniffing an 8 ball of cocaine.
- 40:00Yeah, I don't think he sniffed. No way.
- 40:06No way. No way, dude.
- 40:08OK, I've seen every game, every second-half, a whole 8.
- 40:12I've seen it, dude. I've seen, I've seen some people
- 40:14do some crazy ass stuff and I don't know about dying.
- 40:18I I've seen guys do something and then get on a dance floor
- 40:21and just torch everybody, spin on their heads and all this. 8
- 40:24ball and 8 ball. 8 ball. Not a little. 8 ball and 8 ball.
- 40:32Some some wild stories. Errol Errol was with some big
- 40:36time music guys back in the day. So I'm not surprised about any
- 40:39of those stories in April. Let's get to the next one.
- 40:42So from baseball to football, if you were paying attention this
- 40:47year, and Errol knows because I reminded him all season that JSN
- 40:51was the offensive player of the year.
- 40:53He was the best receiver in the league.
- 40:56He still, however, was completely pissed off because he
- 41:01was disrespected by the NFL on his trophy that they mailed him
- 41:06that had defensive player of the year on it and the year had no
- 41:10space in between the words the end year.
- 41:14JSN put a video up on social media showing the gaffe.
- 41:18He says he's getting disrespectful.
- 41:20At this point I really want to expose them.
- 41:24Brian McCarthy of The Athletic I told I told NFL spokesman Brian
- 41:29McCarthy told The Athletic that the league will send him a new
- 41:32trophy. The league made a mistake.
- 41:34We sincerely apologize to Jackson for the error and are in
- 41:38the process of creating and shipping him a new trophy.
- 41:40Of course, like the teams he played against this year, we
- 41:43know how great an offensive player he is.
- 41:45We just had a problem spelling it regardless.
- 41:50Smith in Jigba. Is just looking for something
- 41:54to. Get pissed off about you got to
- 41:57love an athlete who's trying to create a chip on his shoulder
- 42:00after he had one of the best seasons any receivers ever had.
- 42:02Errol, dial it off. Well, it's pretty simple.
- 42:06That's a collectible item I'm keeping that I'm signing and I'm
- 42:09holding on to it. And then 20 years from now when
- 42:13I retired and go to the Hall of Fame, I put it on there and I
- 42:16sell it and I say, hey, they made a mistake.
- 42:18This trophy isn't a collectible item.
- 42:20I'm going to make millions off of it or hundreds of thousands
- 42:23of off of it. I wouldn't complain.
- 42:25You're going to get the trophy. But it is pretty funny that the
- 42:27NFL would make a mistake like this.
- 42:29It's typical Roger Goodell fashion.
- 42:31The guys are complete moron and the organization is a complete
- 42:35idiocy. They know how to make money.
- 42:37There's no question and a trophy, a new trophy being made.
- 42:39How much does that cost them 0 nothing.
- 42:42This is an organization. It's a multi billion dollar
- 42:45organization. How much did they make last
- 42:46year? Qi don't know.
- 42:48Let's let's call it yeah, several billions, but they they
- 42:50got a still they got they still in negotiations with a few other
- 42:53international contracts. Yeah, they already in mega
- 42:56billions, though. Yeah, they're they're they're
- 42:58making billions and billions of dollars.
- 43:00I think a trophy, a glass trophy, wouldn't hurt to make
- 43:03another one. But that trophy is a collectible
- 43:06item. It's a win win for them.
- 43:08It's a win win for him. He could sit there, laugh about
- 43:10it or be pissed off about it, and then 20 years from now he
- 43:14can sell it and make himself a boatload of money.
- 43:17Yeah, I want to say a boatload of money.
- 43:19I think it'd be, you know, a couple of dollars on the back
- 43:22end. I think it would be probably
- 43:24more of a collectible item if it was Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes
- 43:28or some situation like that. But you know, Jason definitely
- 43:31obviously had a great year or whatever his features did to to
- 43:34be written and whatnot. But I don't think that that, you
- 43:37know, was a was it was a something that you just keep to
- 43:41grow our current interests overtime.
- 43:45Like I think it's just someday, you know, it was a terrible
- 43:47mistake by the NFL again, a billion dollar, a mega billion
- 43:51dollar entity sending a trophy with the wrong lettering and and
- 43:56the wrong position and on the trophy.
- 43:58It's just too it's it's unexplainable.
- 44:00I think it is disrespectful because at the end of the day,
- 44:03you had what, 656 months to prepare for this?
- 44:07Like, I mean, most of those trophies is, you know, all the
- 44:10thing you had to do is you can make those trophies in January
- 44:13or you can make those trophies in August and then just write
- 44:17the name on it with it, whoever wins.
- 44:18But so I don't don't really understand why they were
- 44:21actually make this mistake. This is like, you know, rec
- 44:25departments do this type of stuff, you know, and pee wee
- 44:27leads and stuff. You don't do this with the NFL.
- 44:30So I do take it as a sign of disrespect.
- 44:32He can definitely, you know, have a keep it as a collectible.
- 44:36But I think it'd be worth a cup of honey.
- 44:37I don't think it'd be anything worth if he goes down, if he
- 44:41goes down as one of the great wide receivers of all time, and
- 44:45that's not the first trophy he wins as offensive player of the
- 44:48year. You're going to tell me that's
- 44:50only going to be worth hundreds, hundreds of thousands or
- 44:52millions? You you, you realize how many
- 44:55great wide receivers there's already in the history?
- 44:58I mean, look, he's the even if you have a great career, he's
- 45:01still not going to crack top five times.
- 45:03Dude, he almost broke the record this year.
- 45:05He already yes, I'm not saying he's a bad talent.
- 45:08Oh, he's not going to have a good career.
- 45:10But I'm saying you you go down the list like that's Randy Moss.
- 45:14That's something different, you know, so different, like, so
- 45:17wait a second, wait a second. So you're telling me JSN can't
- 45:20be Randy Mosser? Terrell Owens?
- 45:21No, I don't think so. I think he can.
- 45:23I think he very much can. the OR or itself, he can never match.
- 45:27Why not? I I disagree.
- 45:29Nobody's gonna walk in there and say, listen, I have no option to
- 45:32do with JSN. I didn't walk on that field
- 45:34knowing that I couldn't stop JSN.
- 45:36He's a great talent and but he has a great he has.
- 45:38Who stopped him last year? That was the MVP.
- 45:40Who stopped him last year. Who stopped the last year?
- 45:42You talking about guys, dude, how old is GSJSF?
- 45:48How old, correct. He has to stack that up.
- 45:50He can't just I'm just saying in six or seven years is he
- 45:54breaking records and doing all these things?
- 45:56That trophy could be worth that trophy could be worth hundreds
- 46:00of thousands, millions of dollars.
- 46:02You know, I don't know if it's a bad thing for a.
- 46:03Corner if you're having trouble stopping an elite receiver and a
- 46:06Defensive Player of the Year. Say it.
- 46:09Again, I might not be a bad thing.
- 46:11For 1/4, if you have trouble stopping a great receiver and a
- 46:13defensive player of the year, no, no, it will be.
- 46:17I look at it like like the. Brian Scalabrini quote In five
- 46:21years, you know, they might have, they might like he started
- 46:24in 10 years it might have. He actually won the trophy.
- 46:27You know, he's going to complain.
- 46:29They're going to make a new one. You're going to have two sitting
- 46:31right next to each other. Tell his kids that he won
- 46:33defensive player of the year and offensive player of the year in
- 46:35the same year. Yeah, I think it's more of a
- 46:37joke there. To say that it'll get some money
- 46:39or whatever, I don't think he'll win.
- 46:40No money, too much money off that.
- 46:42I mean, it didn't even really go for the rest of them.
- 46:46OJ. Simpson won.
- 46:47Himself, you know, got himself a lot of money for his
- 46:50memorabilia. So why couldn't put a glove?
- 46:51Yeah, I don't know about the glove.
- 46:54I would like that glove. I that was that or after he
- 46:57tried to steal. It back that's true yeah well
- 47:00that's. A whole nother story but his
- 47:02memorabilia. That's why he went to jail that
- 47:03time. Because he tried to get his own
- 47:05stuff back that he had to sell. It didn't fit.
- 47:08So you must. Yeah, that was.
- 47:11That was an interesting story about when I was a kid.
- 47:13I remember you're 2. You're probably cute.
- 47:15We had like when I was in school, like it was all a whole
- 47:18big deal. I was in elementary school.
- 47:19We did mock trials and stuff because it was so prevalent.
- 47:23Anyway, Nicks are about to win. By the way, Johnny Cochran.
- 47:27Used the summer in the town that I grew up in.
- 47:29No kidding. That's awesome.
- 47:32All right, let's get into this next story.
- 47:33They're all bonkers from here on out.
- 47:35Darrell starting off with one of maybe your favorite players in
- 47:39basketball history, Mr. Ben Simmons, who no longer plays
- 47:43basketball, kind of, I guess you could say he had a meltdown
- 47:47mentally, couldn't hit a layup anymore, famously passed the
- 47:50ball instead of taking a layup in the playoff series.
- 47:53And MB needs probably best chance to win, win away then.
- 47:57Well, guess what he's doing now. He is a champion sport
- 48:00fisherman. On Sunday, the South Florida
- 48:03Sails captured the Sport Fishing Championship blue Marlin open at
- 48:08Walker's Cay in the Bahamas. Helping South Florida to the
- 48:12title was none other than Ben Simmons, co-owner and angler or
- 48:19the club. Not only is he the owner, he's
- 48:23also a client. What, like the hair club for men
- 48:26for Marlin fishing? Unbelievable.
- 48:29In December 2025, he purchased a majority stake.
- 48:33Here's what Ben Ben Simmons said afterwards.
- 48:35I have always believed that investing in what you love means
- 48:38you have a responsibility to help it move forward.
- 48:40Sport fishing has given me incredible experiences and SFC
- 48:44is creating a platform that treats offshore fishing like the
- 48:47elite sport it is. Errol, your thoughts about
- 48:52finally a champion Ben Simmons? Dial it up.
- 48:58Here's here's my question and I just want to know how many times
- 49:03and how many teams has he robbed money from?
- 49:05I'm talking about hundreds of millions of dollars.
- 49:08This guy was crap as a basketball player.
- 49:11Yeah, he was an All Star. We all know Philadelphia.
- 49:14The guy stunk, guy stunk. And then he, he goes to new, he
- 49:20goes to Brooklyn, barely plays. He wears this nice, beautiful
- 49:23style. You know his, you know, his
- 49:26Louis Vuitton shirts and all that other stuff.
- 49:28Never got a chance to see him on a basketball court.
- 49:31And now all of a sudden we're hearing about his fishing team
- 49:34winning championships. Here's what I want to know.
- 49:37Who did he hire? How much money did he invest
- 49:40into it and who did he pay off? That's what I want to know
- 49:43because the truth is championship fishermen don't
- 49:47make any money. So I I could care less.
- 49:49But he's made millions and millions of dollars.
- 49:52He's a champion. Good for him.
- 49:53Congratulations to him. I could care less.
- 49:56Congratulations on your retirement.
- 49:58Get far, far away from any of the teams I rooted for.
- 50:02Well, I guess, I guess. His aim is better when you when
- 50:04he knows I don't know, when he doesn't, when he.
- 50:06Doesn't know where. The target he's looking for is
- 50:08because that's obviously it's hard to see a fish in the water.
- 50:11But I also found it funny that the night of the Knicks game
- 50:13when the story came out, the ESPN postgame show or TNC
- 50:17postgame show, whatever it was, was roasting the Sixers saying,
- 50:19oh, Ben Simmons finally won a championship before the Sixers.
- 50:22And the last comments I want to make out maybe there is some
- 50:24hope for your boy Travis Hunter, who claimed he would be a better
- 50:27fly Fisher. And then why is he fishing with
- 50:29him? No, but he might.
- 50:30Be when he has a short NFL career like you think he's going
- 50:32to have, I'm going to tell. You guys, this Travis Hunter is
- 50:35not going to have a long career in the NFL.
- 50:37You're crazy. It's not.
- 50:39Remember I said that? Crack.
- 50:40You own him 8 balls. Listen.
- 50:42Listen. If I'm smoking crack, this work,
- 50:44I'm smoking crack. You're going to smoke with me
- 50:45because I'm going to tell you I'm right.
- 50:47The guy stinks. The guy stinks.
- 50:50Listen, Ben Simmons, congratulations on being a
- 50:52champion, man. Doesn't really matter how much
- 50:55you invested into the company. The thing is, it was an
- 50:57investment worth the while. You're, you're a champion now.
- 51:01You, you also contributed to winning that championship.
- 51:05So we want to give you Congrats and we want to make sure that we
- 51:08celebrate this win and whatnot. But yeah, I mean, listen, the
- 51:12guy was an All Star guy, was one of the top rated defensive
- 51:15players, had a couple of injuries, couldn't get back on
- 51:18the court and whatnot. But he ended up finding
- 51:21something that he's actually enjoying and that's pretty good
- 51:23at. And so where, you know, Earl
- 51:26thinks that you get these several $100,000 for a
- 51:29misspelled trophy, you actually do get money as a fisherman.
- 51:33And it's not NBA money. But there's also sponsorships
- 51:35and people that endorse you and things of that nature.
- 51:37So, you know, you can't say that he's not getting any money for
- 51:40that, but he actually is getting some money for that.
- 51:42So listen, congratulations to Ben Simmons on winning a
- 51:46fisherman championship down there in Florida.
- 51:48And yeah, man, I look forward to seeing him getting more
- 51:52championships. Sorry you didn't get key.
- 51:55BD is cucumber, man. Get out of here if you love what
- 51:59you. Do you never work?
- 52:02Congrats that he found his. Passion after a grueling career
- 52:06as a professional athlete. Man, I'd be more.
- 52:11Afraid of Marlin than free throws but that are layups.
- 52:15But that's just me. Good for him on the
- 52:17championship. Let's go to the next story.
- 52:19This one's a sports media story that I had to read a couple of
- 52:22times to believe this actually happened.
- 52:24We have a lot of guys come on the show on the phone, in the
- 52:26car. Have you ever considered what
- 52:28would happen if they got carjacked in the middle of an
- 52:31interview on a sports show? Because that's exactly what
- 52:34happened in Mexico to a Mexican sports journalist, Fernando
- 52:37Vargas while he was doing a live interview from his car on
- 52:41Tuesday. He's the he's a com directors
- 52:44for Mexico's national professional basketball league
- 52:47and was doing a live interview on blah, blah blah Deportivo of
- 52:51Mexican commentary show. They actually have a clip online
- 52:54that you can watch of him getting interviewed and then
- 52:57getting throat picked out of his car at gunpoint and having his
- 53:00car stolen. Errol, I don't know, maybe
- 53:06sometimes you wish some things could happen like this.
- 53:08The guys that come on in their car on their phone, dongle it
- 53:11up. It would be a great story.
- 53:13I mean, come on, it would be a great story.
- 53:16I'm on. I'm doing an interview and and
- 53:19me and you were talking to ESPN and all of a sudden somebody
- 53:22knocks on my window and tells me to get out of my car, give me
- 53:24all your money. And I'll be like, is this a
- 53:26joke? Is this a joke?
- 53:28They'd be like, get out of the car and maybe, you know, you
- 53:32die, you die. It's never happened to me.
- 53:36So I don't know how I would react to it.
- 53:39Get out. That's what you should do, Give
- 53:42the man what he wants. Crazy story is, is that a long,
- 53:46long time ago I was at Smith Haven Mall and everybody knows I
- 53:50live right over here and I was doing a favor.
- 53:53It was late at night and somebody I I'm waiting for, I'm
- 53:56waiting for a friend to pull up and I'm standing there and
- 53:58somebody pulls out a gun on me and tells me to get on my hands
- 54:01and knees and, and give them whatever I have in my pocket.
- 54:03So I go on my hands on my knees and I put my put my hands and I
- 54:07have something in my pocket. I you tell me I to reach into my
- 54:11pocket, but you told me to put my hand behind my back so I
- 54:14can't do it. He sticks the gun in the back of
- 54:17my ear and he tells me how about I shoot your ear off.
- 54:19If if you make another joke like that, he's like you just told me
- 54:22to put my hands in my I'm behind my back.
- 54:24True story is he took whatever I had in my pocket and drove off.
- 54:28That's a true story. I didn't know how to react to
- 54:31it, but I closed my eyes and I was trying to react to it in a
- 54:33funny joke. I guess that's how it always is.
- 54:36I don't know what to expect. If somebody's standing there
- 54:39when I'm doing an interview and all of a sudden somebody pulls
- 54:41out a gun, how do I react to it except make a joke?
- 54:44Or is this for real? I, I don't, I don't get it.
- 54:47Do what they say, man. That's the part of the robbery
- 54:50that you needed to do what they say.
- 54:51Get out the car, give your phone and live to see another day.
- 54:56Let's put it in. Perspective, right?
- 54:57It's a it's a radio interview in Mexico.
- 55:01It could be an inside job, one of those obligatory interviews
- 55:04that the guy doesn't really want to do.
- 55:05He's pre production with the producer.
- 55:07Yeah, I'm doing my interview from the car.
- 55:09He's in the car. He's in the parking garage.
- 55:11Okay, there you go. I would.
- 55:13Probably it was a setup. Funny, it's.
- 55:15Cartel crazy. Over there in Mexico.
- 55:17So I believe it. I believe he probably was a real
- 55:21authentic. Let me read to you the
- 55:22translation. Real quick before we move on,
- 55:25apparently they caught this on camera in Spanish.
- 55:28The guy goes with the gun, the key, quick, key, phones and
- 55:32wallets quick. And then, like, Vargas tries to
- 55:36calm him down and then he moves the camera.
- 55:38The live feed cuts out and it's all live on the air.
- 55:41And it's not just radio. It's like one of our shows
- 55:43where, you know, there's some video to it as well.
- 55:46So you can watch this on YouTube.
- 55:47One of the craziest, I guess, interviews probably ever done.
- 55:52Ever done on one of these things.
- 55:54Let's move on to the last story of the evening.
- 55:56This one is just a if you did not enjoy this guy playing for
- 56:01the Yankees and you're going to like this story, Carl Pavano,
- 56:06one of the. Absolute.
- 56:08Worst Yankee free agency signings of all time.
- 56:10Apparently one of the absolute worst human beings of all time
- 56:14as well. In about a week ago in a
- 56:17Connecticut Superior Court, Judge Stephen Demo granted his
- 56:21ex-wife a restraining order he had to surrender all of his
- 56:25firearms. Here's the reasons why they're
- 56:28having a custody fight. Nest Nest share custody where
- 56:33they have to kind of share the house.
- 56:35It's a 10,000 square foot, $4 million mansion in Connecticut
- 56:39where they raised their three children.
- 56:41According to the affidavits, His wife and this is all public.
- 56:45Alyssa claims that 20 minutes after Carl was served divorce
- 56:48papers in 2024, he sent a photo to their family group chat
- 56:52showing multiple firearms laid out on the kitchen table with
- 56:55the caption Hold the Fort. He had been urinating in her
- 56:59shampoo bottles and intentionally soiled her bed by
- 57:03having female sexual partners occupy it while she was away and
- 57:08then removed all the clean linens from the house so she
- 57:10couldn't sleep on anything. She also he also was surveilling
- 57:14her, planted drugs drugs on the property and tried to get her in
- 57:17trouble and left her a bunch of break in notes including one
- 57:21that in her office that wrote Goodnight Mommy.
- 57:25Wow. Some people are just.
- 57:28Real evil Errol dot it up. Let me ask him a question.
- 57:34Wasn't. Wasn't he the one that got hit
- 57:36by a Wiener truck? It wasn't.
- 57:38Wasn't that the guy that got hit by a Wiener truck and was out
- 57:41for a season because he hurt himself because he he was
- 57:44sitting in his Porsche or something like that?
- 57:46I don't. It's got to be him, honestly.
- 57:50Carl Pavano was an absolute bust.
- 57:52I remember when he the Yankees signed him, they brought him in
- 57:54from the Marlins. He was, he had one good season
- 57:56with the Marlins and they bring him in.
- 57:59I remember Josh Beckett, he goes to the Red Sox and and the
- 58:04Yankees had Carl Pavano. Carl Pavano barely had much of A
- 58:07career with the New York Yankees.
- 58:09It was a complete bust. And then at the tail end of his
- 58:12career, he jumped from one team to another.
- 58:14He made his money as a Yankee. I don't think he needs that $4
- 58:17million house. He's made hundreds of millions
- 58:20of dollars with it. I I think it was $100 million
- 58:23contract he signed with the Yankees when the Yankees signed
- 58:25him. I, I think it's pretty pathetic
- 58:27that he's peeing in a shampoo bottle.
- 58:29He's, he's doing all these things.
- 58:31He's sleeping with women on and stealing linens.
- 58:34I, I mean, I thought the guy was a creep when he was a Yankee.
- 58:37I think he's even more of a creep.
- 58:39And by the way, half of the Yankees on the roster when he
- 58:42was on the Yankees, they didn't like him.
- 58:45And even I talked to Yankees from the past and a lot of it,
- 58:49I'm not going to say who said this, but there were two Yankees
- 58:51that told me who I asked him who was the most hated Yankee in the
- 58:55locker room. 2 out of the five people I've asked, both of them
- 58:59said call Pavana. Tell us, Stephen A, tell us.
- 59:01I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to, OK, I'm not
- 59:06going to do it. I'm not going to do it.
- 59:08But there were two players. There were two players out of
- 59:11the five players. When I asked them who was the
- 59:13most hated Yankee in the locker room, they told me call Pavana.
- 59:18So I'm starting to realize why they didn't like him very much.
- 59:23I mean. Is there, Can you imagine like
- 59:25going to these types of levels because you have such hatred in
- 59:29your heart to somebody? Like I just can't even imagine
- 59:31attempting to do this. Someone that I have children
- 59:33with in the, in the like. It's just despicable on so many
- 59:37levels. He'd signed up.
- 59:38It was only a four year, $40 million contract, but it was
- 59:40back in the day. That's probably like double
- 59:42value. How much was it?
- 59:44Four years. 39.95 million, but in that four years I thought it
- 59:49was more than that. Well, with the Yankees, it.
- 59:51Was. Too.
- 59:52Before that, yeah, he actually didn't make as much playing
- 59:55baseball because he barely played.
- 59:56After that, he had a couple of good years early in his career,
- 59:59$39.95 million. Twenty six starts in four years.
- 1:00:04That's less than one season worth of starts.
- 1:00:06One of the many decisions that offseason that did not go well
- 1:00:11for the Yankees. I think maybe he was just trying
- 1:00:13to. Achieve like expert level
- 1:00:15pettiness by watching watching too much $0.50 you know and just
- 1:00:18missed the mark. If you know the 50.
- 1:00:23Cent story. Then I don't need to repeat any
- 1:00:25of that. Great job with that reference,
- 1:00:27Dicky. Speedy, how do you feel about
- 1:00:29someone peeing in a shampoo bottle?
- 1:00:31It's psychotic behavior. For your children could
- 1:00:35accidentally use that shampoo or speedy will probably tell you I
- 1:00:38would do it. I don't think you're going to
- 1:00:41stoop the car off. Pavanos levels yet you don't
- 1:00:44know Arrow. Too.
- 1:00:44Well, maybe unless you. Enter the house quick.
- 1:00:48All you gotta do is. Just say hey, I dare you, dare
- 1:00:51you to PNS shampoo butter. Yeah, I think you might be
- 1:00:53right. Yeah, like relationships.
- 1:00:55Do something to you. I would do it to my oldest
- 1:00:57sister. Right now I can't stand her, so
- 1:00:59I probably was gonna say if I take that level of.
- 1:01:02Standard for him to do that, yeah, the.
- 1:01:04Behavior like. Your your kids can accidentally
- 1:01:08use that and or use whatever else is in there.
- 1:01:10Your kids can accidentally sleep on the bed too.
- 1:01:12And for all we know, fall asleep on the bed without all the gross
- 1:01:16crap on it. And you're gonna do.
- 1:01:17That to your you're. Gonna do that to your gross
- 1:01:19sexual crap. Yeah, literally.
- 1:01:22Hey, listen people. People use pee to survive in the
- 1:01:26in the third world countries. You know there's a lot of trips.
- 1:01:28Go ahead and bring the pee. Expedite him to 1.
- 1:01:31Of those. Bring you, bring your own.
- 1:01:32Cheats to the hotel. Come on, no more.
- 1:01:34What are we talking about? Trying to give her some
- 1:01:38vitamins. Is she like dirt like?
- 1:01:40Is she like she's robbed out? Like what are you doing?
- 1:01:43Why are you? Why would you want to stay in
- 1:01:45the house? Just go get.
- 1:01:46A little. Small apartment or something
- 1:01:48till you found the line of divorce.
- 1:01:51What are we doing Like you want to stay in the house doesn't
- 1:01:54have a pool house in the. Back.
- 1:01:55Come on, are we broke? I.
- 1:01:58Mean. This was the only way I could
- 1:02:00get chash EPT to approve it was to make it into a, you know, a
- 1:02:04cartoon. Like I think it's a scooby-doo
- 1:02:06type of cartoon. I tell you what that's a
- 1:02:09terrible story and I hated that guy even before I heard it.
- 1:02:12So sucks to be him. I that looks like a.
- 1:02:15Picture in an awful children's book and a.
- 1:02:19New woke book? Has anybody seen the movie
- 1:02:23Horrible Bosses? Yes.
- 1:02:26Remember when they're. They're trying to go into the,
- 1:02:28the houses and stuff like that and they're trying to, well,
- 1:02:32he's allergic to I think peanuts and stuff like that.
- 1:02:35So they go into the shampoo. Maybe we should stick peanuts in
- 1:02:38the shampoo bottles. I mean, like, it's just, it's
- 1:02:41ridiculous. I I think Carl Pavano is a
- 1:02:43friggin meathead and he's an idiot.
- 1:02:46And, and, and what makes no sense is Trevor Bauer has been
- 1:02:49trying to get back in the major leagues and this is who the
- 1:02:52majors had. You know, this is a guy that is
- 1:02:55had a pretty decent long career in the major leagues and he was
- 1:02:59hit by a hot dog truck and now he's peeing in his wife's
- 1:03:02shampoo bottles. So so I looked it up it.
- 1:03:05Wasn't a hot dog truck. He was in an accident in West
- 1:03:08Palm Beach with driving his Porsche in the rainy,
- 1:03:11hydroplaned and collided with a tractor trailer.
- 1:03:16That or we don't know exactly what it was but some mostly
- 1:03:20people think he crashed into a garbage truck.
- 1:03:22It was a bomb I heard. It was a hot dog truck, but
- 1:03:25whatever. I mean, the the joke was was it
- 1:03:28was a hot dog truck. Who, who told you it was a hot
- 1:03:30dog truck? Well, when?
- 1:03:32When it happened, Mike. Not another anonymous thing.
- 1:03:35No, no, no. Well, the thing that he did is
- 1:03:39he lied. About it to Michael Kay that's
- 1:03:41why I. Remember, I remember when
- 1:03:43Michael Kay was on live radio and live television when they
- 1:03:47were talking about it and he says this is the guy that was in
- 1:03:49a Porsche and got hit by a hot dog truck.
- 1:03:51So it was Michael Kay. It was Michael Kay that I
- 1:03:54remember saying it. If you want to ask me who I
- 1:03:57remember said it, but you know, it was a long time ago.
- 1:04:00So this is, you're talking about Carl Pomano.
- 1:04:03Yeah. That's like 20 years. 20 years.
- 1:04:05Yeah. So I thought truck been known to
- 1:04:07do. Crazy things.
- 1:04:08Think about that one. That's on the lie.
- 1:04:11Yeah, I see one right here. I see a couple of them right
- 1:04:13here. Yeah, they're doing well.
- 1:04:15They're doing well. But whether they ever.
- 1:04:18And I don't know if I'm going to eat from those hot dog trucks
- 1:04:20because I mean about those. No, I don't.
- 1:04:24Yeah. No, I do not.
- 1:04:25I do not like hot dogs or sausages.
- 1:04:27So there you go. You have no idea what you're
- 1:04:28talking about. I like my.
- 1:04:30I like my hamburgers. I like eating busy last night.
- 1:04:33I like the beef baby. Screw you, Brittany.
- 1:04:35Toby. Yeah, Brittany did not tell you
- 1:04:38any of that. You lying Zach of crap.
- 1:04:40She never said that. And I was eating.
- 1:04:42First of all, I was eating penny Ala Safe Space.
- 1:04:44I was eating penny Ala vodka last night, so and I don't like
- 1:04:48my meat. I don't like meat in my penny
- 1:04:50Ala vaka either. So just so you know, so if you
- 1:04:52ever buy me some penny, when you lose a bet, make sure there's no
- 1:04:55meat in it. No pancetta.
- 1:04:56No, I don't like that. No, not, not in, not in penny
- 1:05:00Ala vaka, especially good penny. So whatever you supposed to do,
- 1:05:03whatever you supposed to do with food, everything is that I'm a
- 1:05:08picky eater. I'm always been a picky eater.
- 1:05:11She'll tell you I I There are certain things I don't eat and
- 1:05:14there are certain I hate sushi. I will not eat sushi.
- 1:05:18Never. No, I'm listening.
- 1:05:20I. Will not eat sushi.
- 1:05:22No matter what, I've been to sushi, sushi restaurants and,
- 1:05:26and I've been invited to go to sushi restaurants and I'm like,
- 1:05:29I got to go. You got to do omakase then.
- 1:05:31Then you'll change your mind of the nice ball.
- 1:05:34This. Guy Chef's tasting.
- 1:05:35Omakase where they where they give you, they give you it all
- 1:05:39real treatment, Yeah. The real.
- 1:05:41Real upper echelon experience. That's the way you got to do it,
- 1:05:45Dicky. Brags baby.
- 1:05:47Dicky brags. Dicky is showing some picky
- 1:05:52food, you know. Anyways, I am not into the sushi
- 1:05:56thing, the the fishy thing, you know, if you know what I mean.
- 1:05:59Speediest. He likes that fish smell, right?
- 1:06:02It's fine. What would?
- 1:06:05For my for my birthday I had. Caviar on a chicken nugget.
- 1:06:10I've had that before 20. 4 karat.
- 1:06:12They call it a 24 karat chicken nugget.
- 1:06:14Yeah, it's it's place in the city.
- 1:06:16Caviar on a chicken. Nugget it was good.
- 1:06:19It was good. Anyways, that's it for our show.
- 1:06:23I hope everybody enjoyed the caviar on a chicken nugget.
