- 0:01Speaker 1: Jarre, you, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Josh, you kick us off. What's going on in your world?
- 0:07Speaker 3: You know the world. I had a little thing happened
- 0:10Speaker 3: to me yesterday that was kind of funny to me.
- 0:12Speaker 3: And it was directly after we were hanging out you,
- 0:15Speaker 3: me and Katie after work for a little bit. I
- 0:16Speaker 3: was hungry and hangering for some Chick fil A and
- 0:19Speaker 3: I was near the Chick fil A that I used
- 0:22Speaker 3: to work at, and because of that, I wanted to
- 0:24Speaker 3: go in pop in and say Hi. There's a few
- 0:26Speaker 3: people that still work there, like my old managers, and
- 0:29Speaker 3: I like to say hi. Well, one worker was there,
- 0:31Speaker 3: and God bless her.
- 0:31Speaker 4: I love her.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Her name is Shelley. She is the sweetest lady. Worked
- 0:35Speaker 3: with her, known her for years. But there was one
- 0:37Speaker 3: thing yesterday that was happening to me. She was the
- 0:39Speaker 3: only person, you know, taking orders. Okay, So I get
- 0:43Speaker 3: up to the line and I'm like, hey, Shelley, how
- 0:44Speaker 3: are you We start talking, I put in my order
- 0:46Speaker 3: and I kid you not. For like seven to ten minutes,
- 0:51Speaker 3: she kept me there and was showing me pictures of
- 0:53Speaker 3: her son, who ran a ten k. In thirty minutes,
- 0:56Speaker 3: and she was so proud of and it's so cute,
- 0:58Speaker 3: Like it's such a cute conversation of an older woman
- 1:01Speaker 3: showing me her life because she lives alone. She probably
- 1:03Speaker 3: doesn't have many people to talk to. You relate to that, yeah,
- 1:05Speaker 3: and so it was adorable. But at the same time,
- 1:08Speaker 3: I'm like sweating, nervous because I gotta go the line
- 1:12Speaker 3: building you guys, and I'm like Shelley, I ordered like
- 1:15Speaker 3: I had already gotten my food handed to me. They
- 1:18Speaker 3: were like, Josh, and my food was ready. She's still
- 1:21Speaker 3: talking to me. It was so awkward. It's I don't
- 1:26Speaker 3: know how to end conversations.
- 1:28Speaker 5: Good you give her a tongully, you take you taste
- 1:35Speaker 5: like chi.
- 1:36Speaker 4: It was awful.
- 1:37Speaker 5: It was a weird seeing like everybody's still working there,
- 1:39Speaker 5: like from your job in high school. Essentially, yes, they've
- 1:42Speaker 5: moved up. No, I would imagine, Oh yeah, yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Really some of them. Some of them haven't. But you
- 1:49Speaker 4: know what, Look, Chick fil A is great.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Benny's, like they treat their customers really well, and the
- 1:54Speaker 3: managers make quite a lot of money.
- 1:56Speaker 5: You could have still been there, and you could have
- 1:58Speaker 5: been a manager. Now you could have owned your own franchise.
- 2:01Speaker 4: By now easily. Yeah, And I didn't do that. And
- 2:04Speaker 4: that's okay. People think and.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Here you are, okay, here you are are.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Not supposed to make me.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Those managers making a bit of money twenty times your salary.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they were talking about that.
- 2:18Speaker 5: They're making a good good And you can steal boxes
- 2:21Speaker 5: at Chick fil A sause and dig them home.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Okay. That's the other thing.
- 2:24Speaker 3: I forgot how how expensive Chick fil A is because
- 2:27Speaker 3: when I used to get that ish for free, it
- 2:29Speaker 3: was so nice, and now it's like twenty bucks.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, twenty bucks for a gentlem meal.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You gotta make manager money to get those sandwiches.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Been you, No, I miss getting it for free.
- 2:39Speaker 2: You going to go back and apply today?
- 2:41Speaker 4: Already did yesterday.
- 2:44Speaker 5: We were talking about Josh hanging out at the Chick
- 2:46Speaker 5: fil A yesterday and we were kind of joking, maybe
- 2:49Speaker 5: you should have picked up a application.
- 2:52Speaker 2: You probably make more money there than you do here.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Right, I could pick up a few shifts right in
- 2:55Speaker 4: the afternoon.
- 2:56Speaker 5: So just an assistant general manager, you're gonna be at
- 3:00Speaker 5: fifty five thousand a year. Oh that's not much as
- 3:04Speaker 5: GM general manager of your store. Now here's where you
- 3:09Speaker 5: start raking it in your your base is about seventy
- 3:12Speaker 5: three to ninety two.
- 3:14Speaker 2: But if you're at a high volume.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Location, which we'll get back to, you can reach up
- 3:19Speaker 5: to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year and
- 3:23Speaker 5: some performance bonuses can.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Be on top of that.
- 3:26Speaker 5: So that's for a GM slash store manager at a
- 3:29Speaker 5: high volume location. Now, let me ask you, isn't that
- 3:32Speaker 5: every Chick fil A that's a high volume location.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Which makes that money not worth it at all? Like, really,
- 3:39Speaker 6: you are working so much. You work in fifteen sixteen
- 3:42Speaker 6: hours a day. Feeding people is so stressful. If you
- 3:46Speaker 6: think you're gonna lay back and you know, search stories
- 3:50Speaker 6: on the internet all day like we do right now,
- 3:52Speaker 6: there's no way.
- 3:53Speaker 2: But it's lesure. There's gonna say my pleasure a million years, so.
- 3:57Speaker 6: Much more stress.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Like you're stress?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Are you?
- 4:02Speaker 2: Have you ever worked in the food industry?
- 4:04Speaker 3: No?
- 4:04Speaker 6: But when the fan that all comes back on you,
- 4:08Speaker 6: Like no, I don't think you realize how much pressure
- 4:12Speaker 6: is on a GM at a fast food stop.
- 4:14Speaker 5: But it's a lot of pressure food we're talking.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I will say I was a shift manager when I
- 4:21Speaker 4: got there.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Was there a lot of pressure. No, yeah, how about
- 4:24Speaker 2: a GM, A GM though it's a shift managed GM
- 4:27Speaker 2: back smoking cigarettes till everybody else is. I don't know
- 4:31Speaker 2: what it's.
- 4:33Speaker 4: That's the lord's place.
- 4:34Speaker 7: Sorry sorry, but even period like no, and then right
- 4:39Speaker 7: now with nobody wanting, nobody wanting to work, and then
- 4:43Speaker 7: you have to pick up the slacks.
- 4:44Speaker 4: From your I'm not gonna lie.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I think Jos.
- 4:48Speaker 6: Josh was there ten years ago, Jeremy. Things have changed
- 4:51Speaker 6: since then.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Let's jo changed the staff, hasn't they treat the staff
- 5:00Speaker 3: really well?
- 5:01Speaker 4: I don't know that staff.
- 5:03Speaker 5: They're so ba thing like, it can't be that bad
- 5:05Speaker 5: because people are still there from when Josh was in
- 5:08Speaker 5: high school.
- 5:09Speaker 3: All right, Well, the high schoolers left like me, but
- 5:12Speaker 3: the managerial staff largely is still, which speaks volumes to them.
- 5:17Speaker 4: First of all. That means they treat them on pay them.
- 5:19Speaker 8: Well.
- 5:19Speaker 5: I want to know what the performance bonuses are, good bennies,
- 5:23Speaker 5: and you get the steel boxes and Chick fil eate
- 5:25Speaker 5: some you can dip your cigarettes in that when you're
- 5:28Speaker 5: out back smoking gross.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 5:32Speaker 6: We got people on the text line preach Katie retired
- 5:35Speaker 6: full service GM here and she says not from where though?
- 5:39Speaker 2: From where?
- 5:40Speaker 4: Still?
- 5:41Speaker 2: Still you have got Sundays off?
- 5:44Speaker 6: No?
- 5:44Speaker 4: I never work on Sunday.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you, four days of a month off.
- 5:49Speaker 4: We work at my shelves on a Sunday. Here, we
- 5:51Speaker 4: work on Sundays.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And you coase do that. It's like you have the
- 5:53Speaker 2: day off. Well no, no, no, you don't make me look good.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I mean you're very dedicated in your hardworking in your pockets.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Are a time for a little sports update? What you got, Josh?
- 6:08Speaker 3: I'm about to make dads and lawn care owners happy
- 6:12Speaker 3: all around the world here today because we're talking SOD. Yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 3: we are talking FIFA SOD and so much has gone
- 6:18Speaker 3: into this to create literally the best grass that they
- 6:22Speaker 3: can for these players on the pitch.
- 6:25Speaker 4: That's what they call it.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And just America is a field.
- 6:27Speaker 4: It is a field. You're right, it is a.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Field out there. Look look at how green at field
- 6:32Speaker 2: is out there, either one katie.
- 6:34Speaker 6: Pitch, just playing field.
- 6:38Speaker 3: The FIFA pitch venue manager of Los Angeles talked about
- 6:42Speaker 3: what goes into this and it is basically a seven
- 6:45Speaker 3: year process of finding the perfect match of sod that
- 6:49Speaker 3: they can just roll out onto these fields. Because a
- 6:51Speaker 3: lot of these football stadiums that where these soccer games
- 6:54Speaker 3: are being played, they use AstroTurf, which is the fake grass,
- 6:58Speaker 3: and the FIFA does not allow that.
- 7:00Speaker 4: They don't allow AstroTurf on there.
- 7:01Speaker 3: So they come up with the perfect mixture of ninety
- 7:04Speaker 3: five percent real grass with a plastic coating underneath which
- 7:08Speaker 3: makes the roots grow sideways and embed and make it
- 7:11Speaker 3: tougher for it to be torn up.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I was watching the video on this on how they
- 7:14Speaker 2: grow that.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Yeah, there's like a plastic underlayer so that the roots
- 7:18Speaker 5: don't go into the soil. They spread out and then
- 7:21Speaker 5: you slice it, you'd just roll it right up.
- 7:23Speaker 2: It was fascinating.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Well, and it's great, and it makes it easier for
- 7:26Speaker 3: if there is a divot in the grass, which is
- 7:28Speaker 3: obviously going to happen during a match, they can just
- 7:31Speaker 3: cut that little square out and replace it like it's patchwork.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And Justin Lang actually talked about the process of this,
- 7:38Speaker 3: and man, first of all, I could listen to him
- 7:39Speaker 3: talk for years because his voice.
- 7:41Speaker 4: But the process about the whole thing is fascinating.
- 7:43Speaker 9: Wait right, this ol My slocked one of ourn children
- 7:46Speaker 9: living breathing thing.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Seven years.
- 7:48Speaker 3: That's how long it took to engineer the grass for
- 7:50Speaker 3: this year's World Cup.
- 7:51Speaker 4: It's called a copper harbord.
- 7:53Speaker 9: We grow it on a sod farm in Washington Stite
- 7:56Speaker 9: and it's being on the sod fomb for twelve knocks
- 8:00Speaker 9: natural grass. When we harvest it, put it on the
- 8:02Speaker 9: back of a truck, calms down and we we lie
- 8:05Speaker 9: it out and it's pretty much ready plight turf during
- 8:08Speaker 9: matches focused on the surface. Every die up a different
- 8:12Speaker 9: challenge and you got to think on your fight. We
- 8:15Speaker 9: don't got to the point Rod signed good noight to
- 8:18Speaker 9: it every not but while tucking it into bed bit
- 8:20Speaker 9: not far off it rot.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Yeah, that's funny. So it's all on these refrigerated trucks
- 8:27Speaker 5: that they transfer it.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Do you know a lot of it's grown here in Denver?
- 8:30Speaker 6: No, I don't know.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of it's grown here in Denver.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Well, we do have really good weather for it.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Obviously, it needs so much sun to soak up, and
- 8:36Speaker 3: they have been using these like fake sunlight essentially for
- 8:40Speaker 3: all these fields that are covered because so many domes
- 8:43Speaker 3: in the United States.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Literally, what it.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Reminds me of is the honeys shrunk the kids when
- 8:48Speaker 6: he has the lever and the pulley and he's looking
- 8:50Speaker 6: through the glas grass and totally you know, hovering above it,
- 8:53Speaker 6: like that's them making sure the grass is perfect, the
- 8:56Speaker 6: sod is perfect.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Well, we get bragging rights because we have the best
- 8:59Speaker 4: grass we do.
- 9:02Speaker 6: Okay, Colorado?
- 9:04Speaker 4: Well okay, No, I meant the feel Okay you the
- 9:07Speaker 4: way you said it.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Why do you always have to make everything about Josh?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Why is everything always about drugs? Media in the world?
- 9:15Speaker 2: I turned down the music.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Is there a hotline or website we need to get
- 9:18Speaker 5: you to immediately? Do we need to get your mom
- 9:20Speaker 5: on the phone, Kerry? Josh is a stoner, He's a closet.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Stoners carry.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Viral local moments, local legends, and just enough national drama
- 9:33Speaker 1: to keep your group chat spicy.
- 9:35Speaker 10: Ok you guys a.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Mile high hype.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Miah's get you updated on all the big things trending today.
- 9:44Speaker 5: It is Social Media Day Data celebrate all the wonderful
- 9:49Speaker 5: things that social media has brought upon us. As we
- 9:53Speaker 5: were just discussing off the air, all the hidden comments
- 9:56Speaker 5: on our Facebook page.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah we have so many people are mean to us. Yeah,
- 10:01Speaker 2: stop being so mean to us.
- 10:03Speaker 5: It was originally created in twenty ten by Mashable to
- 10:06Speaker 5: recognize social media's impact on bringing the world together, although
- 10:10Speaker 5: all it's done is tear us apart and lower birth rates. Ironically,
- 10:15Speaker 5: a lot of the companies celebrating at the time were
- 10:18Speaker 5: like MySpace and Friendster and vine all rip may they rest.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Story here says the.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Average person spends about one hundred and forty one minutes
- 10:28Speaker 5: a day on the socials.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I've been getting better at that.
- 10:33Speaker 5: I've definitely been putting my phone down and not scrolling
- 10:36Speaker 5: through the socials as much anymore, especially Facebook, because everyone
- 10:41Speaker 5: is so angry and mean on there.
- 10:43Speaker 4: It's pretty divisive, very.
- 10:44Speaker 6: Divisible politics, politics, and AI.
- 10:49Speaker 5: I can't trust anything I see on there anymore unless
- 10:52Speaker 5: you're on Jeremy, Katy and Josh's Facebook.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, everything is mad legit on there. Anything else.
- 10:59Speaker 5: About five twenty four billion people use social media every
- 11:02Speaker 5: day and that was just last year, in twenty twenty five,
- 11:05Speaker 5: So dang, we love.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Our socialist for sure.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Will Will Ferrell is officially an underwear model. He is
- 11:13Speaker 5: the face of the latest men's campaign for Skims. He
- 11:18Speaker 5: posted some pictures of himself as pro golfer Lonnie Hawkins
- 11:23Speaker 5: from the upcoming comedy series The Hawk.
- 11:26Speaker 2: And you guys see the pictures. Look, it looks pretty
- 11:29Speaker 2: good man, Yeah, yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Find good.
- 11:32Speaker 3: I mean he looks like a he's.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Got quite the bulge. How old is Will Ferrell?
- 11:38Speaker 5: He's up there that obviously it's all you know, tongue
- 11:42Speaker 5: in cheek and funny.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Yeah, good for him.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Pretty good.
- 11:46Speaker 6: Like everything looks like it's supposed to be where it
- 11:47Speaker 6: is right well.
- 11:48Speaker 2: And Skims is holding him together. You know that's sucking amends.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Skims is just on the bottom part. Like he's looking
- 11:54Speaker 2: pretty good for fifty eight.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Kim Kardashians. Her quote is his body says retire his
- 12:00Speaker 5: skims say one more round bill for the.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Men who still know they've got it. Anyway.
- 12:06Speaker 5: The Hawk is coming out July sixteenth on Netflix. I
- 12:09Speaker 5: watched the trailer for.
- 12:10Speaker 2: It the other day. Yeah, yeah, that's probably all I'll
- 12:14Speaker 2: watch of it. And how about this?
- 12:16Speaker 5: Garth Brooks is teasing something on his website. A mysterious
- 12:20Speaker 5: countdown clock has popped up on whatever it is garthbrooks
- 12:25Speaker 5: dot com.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I would imagine it.
- 12:27Speaker 5: Says the future is about to become history, and it
- 12:30Speaker 5: expires on Tuesday, July seventh at seven am some people
- 12:35Speaker 5: are thinking a tour announcement, some people are thinking an
- 12:38Speaker 5: album announcement.
- 12:40Speaker 2: But a lot of people.
- 12:41Speaker 5: Are pointing to another special edition box set from Garth
- 12:45Speaker 5: Brooks because he must be hurting for money, eh. Is
- 12:48Speaker 5: anyone still buying CD box sets? Is that still a thing?
- 12:53Speaker 2: No? I don't think so.
- 12:54Speaker 6: Now the younger generation has moved on to vinyl, like
- 12:57Speaker 6: that's the thing that.
- 12:58Speaker 4: We've progressed even farther back.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Actually, nobody's buying CDs like yeah, is that?
- 13:04Speaker 5: I don't know if anyone needs a special edition box
- 13:07Speaker 5: set of Garth.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Brooks at this point.
- 13:08Speaker 6: He's not bringing back Chris Hines. Haines like that. Hanes
- 13:12Speaker 6: that that was not okay, one marketing move he made
- 13:16Speaker 6: that was not money.
- 13:17Speaker 2: What's the local stuff going on? Okay?
- 13:19Speaker 6: Palisade peaches are early this year, really early. Even this
- 13:23Speaker 6: farmer says, so.
- 13:25Speaker 11: This is actually the earliest we've ever seen him as
- 13:27Speaker 11: far as we can remember, the past few years, we've
- 13:29Speaker 11: been getting him earlier than normal, but this year we're
- 13:31Speaker 11: about three to four weeks earlier. We never picked on
- 13:34Speaker 11: this early.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Oh, I arrive early all the time. What's the big
- 13:36Speaker 2: deal to it?
- 13:37Speaker 4: But what's the deal.
- 13:39Speaker 6: August is usually the start of peach season, but those
- 13:43Speaker 6: juicy babies, they're coming to us even earlier this year
- 13:45Speaker 6: because of the warm winter and everything else that we had.
- 13:49Speaker 6: That same farmer said, they're even having issues convincing people
- 13:53Speaker 6: that they're real Palisade peaches because we know better. We're like,
- 13:56Speaker 6: those are imposter peaches because it's supposed to be August
- 13:59Speaker 6: is when we at them. I was telling Josh earlier,
- 14:02Speaker 6: I lived on a peach orchard, and there's nothing better
- 14:05Speaker 6: than walking out to the peach tree, grabbing a peach
- 14:08Speaker 6: and eating it.
- 14:09Speaker 4: You're so spoiled, oh, so.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Spoiled, so spoiled.
- 14:11Speaker 6: But these people who bring them over from the Western Slope,
- 14:14Speaker 6: that's the next best thing. So you know, just make
- 14:17Speaker 6: sure you do your dude diligence the farmers who do
- 14:20Speaker 6: like this this farmer.
- 14:21Speaker 9: We were.
- 14:24Speaker 6: Because you know your you know, farmer's market, Like this
- 14:27Speaker 6: farmer has been at the same farmer's market for forty years.
- 14:30Speaker 2: So you just talk to the people.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Stu, you know, is a stick.
- 14:35Speaker 2: You don't go to the booth with the guys like
- 14:37Speaker 2: near Palisade Peace, Yeah, exactly.
- 14:39Speaker 6: You don't go to that guy you probably don't want
- 14:40Speaker 6: to stop off on the side of the road with
- 14:42Speaker 6: those trucks like they may be trying to pull your legs.
- 14:46Speaker 6: There's usually the same people who show up and they
- 14:49Speaker 6: know that they're from the Western Slope.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Here's my biggest concern, the trusted.
- 14:53Speaker 6: Orchards out there. You know, you know who it is.
- 14:55Speaker 5: That is my biggest concern of anything that has to
- 14:58Speaker 5: do with peaches, no matter where they're from.
- 15:00Speaker 2: What's up. I don't like to be around people that
- 15:02Speaker 2: eat peaches because it's disgusting. That's what it is, the
- 15:05Speaker 2: whole juicy what's a juicy peach where it's running?
- 15:10Speaker 5: You know, I don't want to be around anyone it
- 15:14Speaker 5: eats peaches or slurp soup. Yeah, here's a little inside
- 15:18Speaker 5: baseball for you. I have a hard time listening to
- 15:20Speaker 5: my wife in the morning drink her morning coffee.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah that's that's you know, that's valid. That's my slurping.
- 15:32Speaker 2: That's valid. But I'm still I'm here for the peaches.
- 15:35Speaker 6: You can eat your peaches around me.
- 15:36Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 15:37Speaker 5: When somebody wrote in and said palisade peaches are fuzzier,
- 15:41Speaker 5: they have more fuzz on them than regular peaches.
- 15:44Speaker 2: How do you not know this, Katie, I wouldn't.
- 15:47Speaker 6: I don't know, I don't think.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I guess I didn't compare them. I never liked peaches.
- 15:52Speaker 6: Until I moved over to the Western Slope and then
- 15:54Speaker 6: I had the.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Peaches over there. I was like, is this what peaches
- 15:56Speaker 2: are supposed to taste like?
- 15:57Speaker 6: Because in North Dakota they're they're hard, rocky, you know
- 16:00Speaker 6: what I mean. But exactly they don't taste like that.
- 16:03Speaker 6: So yeah, I guess maybe their harrier. So we'll have
- 16:06Speaker 6: to look into that.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Is this peach expert riding into us? How do you
- 16:09Speaker 2: know they know they're peaches?
- 16:11Speaker 8: Prove your worth peach experts more and then just one
- 16:16Speaker 8: more quick thing just for everybody, because the City of
- 16:19Speaker 8: Denver is teaming up with spot hero to give you
- 16:21Speaker 8: five dollars parking downtown.
- 16:23Speaker 6: So they've got designated spots throughout the city for that price.
- 16:26Speaker 6: You got to download their app to get the deal.
- 16:28Speaker 6: But yeah, the promotion runs through September.
- 16:30Speaker 2: So spot why are they doing this? They just it's
- 16:33Speaker 2: the City of Denver.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Mayor Mike Johnson came out and said, hey, we want
- 16:36Speaker 6: to give people more affordable parking. Throughout the summer and
- 16:40Speaker 6: so just five dollars. It's really not I like it.
- 16:43Speaker 6: I dig it.
- 16:44Speaker 2: You can spend a lot of.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Money downtown, so if you can save a little money
- 16:48Speaker 6: with parking. And then, like I said, there's like three
- 16:50Speaker 6: thousand spots that they've designated, so on the app you
- 16:53Speaker 6: can see exactly where they are. But they're going to
- 16:55Speaker 6: look to make that five thousand spots by the end
- 16:58Speaker 6: of this thing. So good, Hey, look at that more
- 17:00Speaker 6: spots downtown parking.
- 17:02Speaker 2: There you go, I think, Yeah, there's my hip.
- 17:05Speaker 5: Shout out to Eric, who just texted it and said,
- 17:07Speaker 5: imagine that slurping sound when you have air pods.
- 17:09Speaker 2: In Thanks yeah, Eric, good morning, Thanks for furnish. I
- 17:16Speaker 2: appreciate you.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie and Josh.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Well, my morning is completely out of whack and screwed up.
- 17:27Speaker 5: Every morning I put a little bowl of fruit in
- 17:30Speaker 5: my lunch tote.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Did I prepare the night before? Last night, I chopped.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Up some pineapple and some strawbellies, put them in my
- 17:38Speaker 5: little tupperware bowl in the fridge. This morning, I grabbed
- 17:42Speaker 5: that bowl put it in my lunch tot. I just
- 17:45Speaker 5: went over opened up my lunch tote, and pulled out
- 17:47Speaker 5: that bowl and popped the lid off, and it is
- 17:49Speaker 5: a bunch of.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Old dry spaghetti.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Oh no, I grabbed the wrong upper were saucy.
- 18:00Speaker 2: It's just cry noodlesh. I hate this morning. That's not
- 18:05Speaker 2: refreshing at all.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Like pineapple sounds fabulous.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Actually it was already for pineapple. Damn it. That's like
- 18:15Speaker 2: to be one of the most disappointing things, you know how.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I was like, oh, well, this day sucks anyway.
- 18:24Speaker 5: I'm many idiots, So I'm reading all the news stories here.
- 18:27Speaker 5: It was crazy smoky in town yesterday, and I'm feeling it.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Are you guys feeling it?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yo?
- 18:33Speaker 4: Taste it. I'm clearing my throat so much more than
- 18:35Speaker 4: I usually do.
- 18:36Speaker 6: I think that's a big part of why I was
- 18:37Speaker 6: so sick over the weekend. It just got to me.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Yeah, big fires in Colorado right now. The Aspen Acres
- 18:44Speaker 5: Fire is going on in Custer County. They're saying about
- 18:47Speaker 5: twenty three thousand acres right now. Yeah, zero percent contained,
- 18:51Speaker 5: and it's currently the largest and.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Fastest growing fire in Colorado.
- 18:55Speaker 6: Oh, it's so sad.
- 18:57Speaker 5: Then we got the Snyder Fire, which is Mason, Grand
- 19:01Speaker 5: Counties near the Utah border, twenty eight thousand acres zero
- 19:05Speaker 5: percent contained. Right now.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Uh, that's the one that's man, that's the scary one.
- 19:10Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:11Speaker 6: It's really close to Grand Junction. I mean, yesterday I
- 19:13Speaker 6: saw that it switched directions. I think it made them,
- 19:17Speaker 6: you know, like it it just took. It was a
- 19:19Speaker 6: positive finally in all of that, but still not out
- 19:22Speaker 6: of the woods yet.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I mean, that's the one where the three firefighters were
- 19:25Speaker 2: killed on that one. True, that's horrible.
- 19:27Speaker 5: And then now there's a Gold Mountain fire near your
- 19:31Speaker 5: ray and that's seven one hundred acres zero percent contained.
- 19:35Speaker 6: And again another one like from the town, you could
- 19:38Speaker 6: see it over the crest of the mountain and yes, yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 6: they were happy that it turned away and started going
- 19:44Speaker 6: away from the town.
- 19:45Speaker 5: But it has doubled in size over the past day,
- 19:48Speaker 5: they said, So that was moving quick.
- 19:49Speaker 2: But man, everything is so dry out there.
- 19:51Speaker 5: The temperatures are high, single digit humidity, gusty winds, like
- 19:56Speaker 5: it's just truly a perfect storm for all these fires
- 20:00Speaker 5: right now.
- 20:00Speaker 2: And how do you fight all that?
- 20:02Speaker 5: You know, you don't have enough manpower or air power
- 20:05Speaker 5: anything like that.
- 20:05Speaker 6: Well, even just outside of the flames of just being
- 20:09Speaker 6: in the vicinity of it. I'll never forget when I
- 20:11Speaker 6: lived over there, there was a big fire and the ashes,
- 20:15Speaker 6: like you had to clean off a good centimeter of
- 20:17Speaker 6: ashes from your car every day because it was like that.
- 20:21Speaker 6: And imagine what your lungs look like at that point.
- 20:24Speaker 6: If your car's looking like that, masks what your lungs
- 20:27Speaker 6: look like.
- 20:28Speaker 2: So yeah, it is.
- 20:29Speaker 6: I'm praying and you know, all my friends out there
- 20:31Speaker 6: on the Western Slope just hoping that everything's okay.
- 20:34Speaker 2: So yeah, kind of hard to see though, ah, very
- 20:37Speaker 2: hard to see.
- 20:37Speaker 5: It sucks for you know, the nature and people having
- 20:40Speaker 5: to be evacuated and lives being lost, and I guess
- 20:43Speaker 5: it just it's one of those things. Don't want to
- 20:46Speaker 5: be a parent here, but just think about it. You
- 20:48Speaker 5: know what the Fourth of July coming up, shooting off
- 20:50Speaker 5: the fireworks.
- 20:51Speaker 2: And doing things. You know, be smart with your fireworks, absolutely,
- 20:54Speaker 2: be smart. Be careful this year because man, it could
- 20:57Speaker 2: get a whole lot worse fast.
- 20:58Speaker 6: Well, and I remember last year without all the fires,
- 21:01Speaker 6: and firefighters had to respond to like forty five different
- 21:04Speaker 6: calls within like seven hours because of firework. So you know,
- 21:08Speaker 6: our men and women in uniform we don't want to
- 21:10Speaker 6: put any extra pressure on them, so definitely hoping they
- 21:14Speaker 6: stay safe this season as well.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yeah, so don't put any pop bottle rockets in your button.
- 21:18Speaker 6: Don't do it.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I'm off. This is not the year to do it.
- 21:21Speaker 6: Don't do it, year.
- 21:22Speaker 2: To do it really quick. I do have this story.
- 21:25Speaker 5: I guess we're heading into July, which is National ice
- 21:27Speaker 5: Cream Month, and National ice Cream Day actually falls on
- 21:31Speaker 5: July nineteenth, but tomorrow is National Creative ice Cream Flavors Day,
- 21:36Speaker 5: so it's all about ice cream in the month of July.
- 21:40Speaker 5: They went out and did a report and some polling
- 21:43Speaker 5: data to determine the most popular ice cream flavors in
- 21:46Speaker 5: every state.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Where are we at here? With Colorado? Oh? Chocolate chip?
- 21:53Speaker 2: Oh all, that's boring, that's boring. One step up from vanilla.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Yeah, Indiana got peppermint, Kansas got macha, Main got blueberry,
- 22:05Speaker 5: South Carolina got peach.
- 22:08Speaker 6: Kansas the most boring state out.
- 22:10Speaker 2: There gets macha should have been vanilla.
- 22:13Speaker 5: Vermont got peanut butter, which I am a peanut butter
- 22:16Speaker 5: ice cream.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Got Rocky Road.
- 22:18Speaker 6: Does it say.
- 22:21Speaker 2: No cookies and cream?
- 22:23Speaker 5: If you want to go up to South Dakota lavender
- 22:26Speaker 5: in Oregon lavender ice cream.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I do like lavender ice cream? What does that taste like?
- 22:34Speaker 2: The color tastes like Barney did, the sweet lavender taste.
- 22:38Speaker 2: It is something you gotta at least try it. What's up,
- 22:40Speaker 2: sweet lavender?
- 22:41Speaker 3: You girl?
- 22:43Speaker 2: I should make a shirt for my little shop that
- 22:45Speaker 2: says ice cream sweat on it.
- 22:47Speaker 4: I'd probably buy that one.
- 22:48Speaker 2: It's funny, is I? I was that offensive.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Difference between a man and a woman right there?
- 22:58Speaker 2: But funny text me right now?
- 23:00Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 23:00Speaker 5: Should I make a shirt that says that three zero
- 23:02Speaker 5: three six nine one sixteen forty nine?
- 23:05Speaker 2: Is that something you'd wear into the office? Probably?
- 23:07Speaker 4: Okay, maybe not the office?
- 23:09Speaker 2: Probably Where would you wear a shirt this is ice cream?
- 23:11Speaker 4: Sq?
- 23:12Speaker 2: I know? Yeah? The only place you could give.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Me your finest soft set roll into Coldstone?
- 23:19Speaker 2: Oh my god? That's okay.
- 23:21Speaker 5: So anyway, that was totally sidetracked from what we wanted
- 23:23Speaker 5: to talk about.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Gen z Ers are putting up walls, Katie.
- 23:26Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I mean, if you like, think about it,
- 23:30Speaker 6: if you know a gen Zer, I do. I gave
- 23:33Speaker 6: birth to one, and she has this whole thing where
- 23:36Speaker 6: she doesn't like owe anyone anything, and it's not just her,
- 23:39Speaker 6: it's people who are age all across the board. They've
- 23:41Speaker 6: got really strong boundaries with their friends, with their workplaces.
- 23:47Speaker 6: They are very you know, in tune with their mental health.
- 23:50Speaker 6: These are things that they have done that are you know,
- 23:53Speaker 6: positive in a way. But now we're starting to see
- 23:55Speaker 6: the negatives of this because everyone wants a village, but
- 23:58Speaker 6: no one wants to be a village. That's kind of
- 24:01Speaker 6: how they're describing this phenomenon with the gen Zers.
- 24:04Speaker 2: So they talk about how like their work life.
- 24:07Speaker 6: Balance, right, like we've discussed how they talk about how
- 24:09Speaker 6: they want to take a nap, how in the middle
- 24:11Speaker 6: of the day, the gen Zers want to take a nap.
- 24:13Speaker 6: They need days for their mental health.
- 24:15Speaker 4: But now putting yourself first, it.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Is putting yourself first. It's very selfish, Josh.
- 24:19Speaker 6: That's kind of what they're saying here is you know
- 24:21Speaker 6: gen Zers they have this whole protect your piece thing.
- 24:27Speaker 2: I'm sure you've heard it.
- 24:28Speaker 6: I'm sure you.
- 24:28Speaker 4: I have gen Z siblings, So yes.
- 24:30Speaker 6: Exactly, and so it's often and they're saying this protecting
- 24:34Speaker 6: your piece can morph into like a selfish or a
- 24:37Speaker 6: bad friend.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:39Speaker 6: I just think when I go back to like having
- 24:42Speaker 6: friends and like what they mean to me. I can
- 24:45Speaker 6: ask a couple of my friends for anything at any time,
- 24:47Speaker 6: and I know that they will show up and because
- 24:50Speaker 6: they know that they can get that from me. But
- 24:52Speaker 6: it's a you know, process, and it's a history of
- 24:55Speaker 6: doing that for your friends, showing up for your friends,
- 24:57Speaker 6: being there for them that they know they can count
- 24:59Speaker 6: on you. With gen zers, it's now just you know,
- 25:03Speaker 6: do you want to come to my party?
- 25:04Speaker 2: Yes? I do.
- 25:05Speaker 6: But then they don't.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Show up because they're I don't like that.
- 25:07Speaker 6: I am a headache and I just don't want anything
- 25:09Speaker 6: to disturb my peace like that they and they're so
- 25:13Speaker 6: quick to use that as an excuse, like it's going
- 25:15Speaker 6: to make them step outside of their comfort zone and
- 25:19Speaker 6: they don't want to do it and they don't have
- 25:21Speaker 6: to do it. That's what they've been kind of taught, right,
- 25:23Speaker 6: I don't. It's like I don't like it either, and
- 25:25Speaker 6: I think, honestly, you need to show up for your friends.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Why you know, I'm a people pleaser, like to a fault.
- 25:31Speaker 3: I have a very hard time saying no, and I
- 25:33Speaker 3: always want to help someone out and be there for someone.
- 25:36Speaker 3: So this is like polar opposite of what I'm used
- 25:38Speaker 3: to at all. Yeah, I mean I overserved to the
- 25:41Speaker 3: point where like I spread myself too thin, where now
- 25:43Speaker 3: these people are just like, oh I can RSVP to
- 25:46Speaker 3: a party, have you get ready for that? Make a
- 25:48Speaker 3: table spot for me, and then just never even show
- 25:51Speaker 3: up because I have I'm tired.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's it, Like this so tired.
- 25:55Speaker 6: Well this story I was looking at specifically, she was like,
- 25:59Speaker 6: you know, I planned a luxe style party and several
- 26:01Speaker 6: of the people bailed at the last minute, and then
- 26:04Speaker 6: they didn't respond my invitation at all, some of them.
- 26:06Speaker 2: And well before that, because potlucks are disgusting.
- 26:09Speaker 6: Yeah, but honestly, like when you think back, like I
- 26:12Speaker 6: just remember my friend's birthday parties, Like when I was
- 26:15Speaker 6: in my twenties, I was there for this so fun
- 26:18Speaker 6: if they had a big party.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I showed up for them. They showed up for my parties,
- 26:23Speaker 2: and I just so babe.
- 26:25Speaker 6: Not her last birthday party, she rented a little space,
- 26:29Speaker 6: she put out you know, a good chunk of money
- 26:31Speaker 6: for the food, the drink. She invited a bunch of people,
- 26:34Speaker 6: and a lot of her friends didn't show up, and
- 26:36Speaker 6: it really made her sad. And I was just like,
- 26:39Speaker 6: that's kind of what the kids your age do now though, right,
- 26:42Speaker 6: Like they don't show up.
- 26:43Speaker 2: The text I texted you exactly, And.
- 26:46Speaker 6: So that's kind of what this whole thing is is
- 26:49Speaker 6: they're seeing this whole loneliness phenomenon, but they're feeding into it,
- 26:53Speaker 6: Like if you're not going to show up for your.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Friend, they're not going to show up for you either.
- 26:57Speaker 2: That's how it works, right.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I don't like the mentality of I don't owe anybody anything.
- 27:02Speaker 6: Yeah, and that's it. You don't know anyone anything is
- 27:04Speaker 6: what they kind of, you know, just live by and
- 27:09Speaker 6: you see it in the workspace, you see it in
- 27:11Speaker 6: the friendship. But these phones are what's contributing to all
- 27:15Speaker 6: of it because we think that we can, you know,
- 27:17Speaker 6: communicate with people and have entire relationships with people just
- 27:21Speaker 6: based on this, and it's really hurting the next generation
- 27:24Speaker 6: they're finding out. So it's this whole new thing with
- 27:26Speaker 6: Gen z ers where you know, you don't have to
- 27:29Speaker 6: show up for people, No, you kind of do. And
- 27:30Speaker 6: I hope they start seeing that it's better when you
- 27:33Speaker 6: show up for people versus when you don't.
- 27:36Speaker 5: They're gonna Yeah, I hate gen zol.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Anybody, I'll tell you that, slide it down.
- 27:51Speaker 4: You need at least.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Six friends, you guys, because they got to be your bears.
- 27:55Speaker 2: At least six. There you go, there's your advice from
- 27:57Speaker 2: jaire Bear. Today.
- 28:00Speaker 5: You should be wrapping up your vote for the primary
- 28:03Speaker 5: right now.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Hey, we forgot last night.
- 28:09Speaker 5: We were sorting a bunch of papers. We're like, oh
- 28:10Speaker 5: my god, there's our ballots. So sweet nick Knack did
- 28:14Speaker 5: her due diligence and she hopped on and researched everybody.
- 28:18Speaker 2: She's into the elections.
- 28:20Speaker 5: She she loves the research and watching videos and then.
- 28:24Speaker 2: She tells me who to vote for. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 28:27Speaker 2: a good over her.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Also, speaking of America, the two hundred and fiftieth is
- 28:32Speaker 5: almost here, and a lot of shoppers out and about
- 28:36Speaker 5: are asking where's all the patriotic merch? Bro There's a
- 28:41Speaker 5: lot of people saying that the big brands when you
- 28:44Speaker 5: wander into the stores, probably like the Wally Worlds and
- 28:46Speaker 5: the Targs have plenty of World Cup merch, but there's
- 28:53Speaker 5: not a lot for America's two hundred and fiftieth.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Where's all the shirts at you guys?
- 28:57Speaker 6: And you know what's unfortunate about it. I think is
- 29:00Speaker 6: just because of.
- 29:00Speaker 2: How political everything is that a lot.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Of people probably don't want to wear that stuff because
- 29:06Speaker 6: they assume that they'll just be lumped into that and
- 29:08Speaker 6: start a conversation about politics they don't want to get into,
- 29:11Speaker 6: even though I know a lot of people who are
- 29:13Speaker 6: really excited about it, like it's a big deal two
- 29:15Speaker 6: hundred and fifty years you know.
- 29:17Speaker 5: Yeah, uh, anyone who remembers the bisentenial back in seventy six,
- 29:21Speaker 5: that was when you celebrated your graduation from high school,
- 29:24Speaker 5: kat Are you talking.
- 29:25Speaker 2: About yourself kills? Yeah? No, that wasn't there.
- 29:28Speaker 5: They said there were special products and decorations, collectibles, school
- 29:32Speaker 5: supplies with patriotic designs everywhere. But this year fans are
- 29:36Speaker 5: saying the selection is pretty darn limited.
- 29:39Speaker 4: It makes me sad.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I know, right, It's just.
- 29:41Speaker 5: You're celebrating America. I pushed the politics to the side
- 29:44Speaker 5: just celebrating Merrick.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Nobody can push politics to the side anymore, though. It's
- 29:48Speaker 6: just it's so hard, Like I really think that's why
- 29:51Speaker 6: people don't want to celebrate the two hundred and fiftieth
- 29:54Speaker 6: I saw a shirt that was SpongeBob font and it
- 29:57Speaker 6: said two hundred and fifty years later.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Get that one.
- 30:01Speaker 4: That's good.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Fun has a birthday cake cereal for the celebration, if
- 30:06Speaker 2: you want to get that.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Cheerios.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Cheerios and a mountain dew did temporarily become American?
- 30:12Speaker 4: Do you know what? I had some of that the
- 30:14Speaker 4: other day, just like freedom. It was good. It was good.
- 30:18Speaker 2: He used to put it out.
- 30:19Speaker 5: Josh, you might remember the red White and dew.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Oh, yes, is this the same American? Do is it
- 30:27Speaker 2: the same flavor?
- 30:28Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:28Speaker 2: The red White and Dew was awesome.
- 30:30Speaker 3: That was like they had the code red and then
- 30:32Speaker 3: the blue one too. Right, they had the different cans.
- 30:35Speaker 4: That you could buy.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, yeah, this one was just the actual
- 30:38Speaker 3: normal mountain dew.
- 30:40Speaker 4: But it was the can is really cool.
- 30:42Speaker 3: It's like a collector's edition and it's all stars and stripes,
- 30:46Speaker 3: American flags and stuff. But I think the World Cup
- 30:48Speaker 3: has helped a little bit in the fact that so
- 30:50Speaker 3: many Europeans have come over here and they love it.
- 30:52Speaker 3: They're like, America is awesome. They've getten their meals paid
- 30:55Speaker 3: for and stuff like that.
- 30:55Speaker 2: But you're right with free refilms. Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 4: In terms of merch it's.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Been kind of a bummer about something off there.
- 31:01Speaker 5: I think it was you what the Europeans are saying,
- 31:03Speaker 5: if you want to hate America, watch the news.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I love America.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Come here, and.
- 31:07Speaker 3: That's what they've said, because they've said, again Katie, the
- 31:10Speaker 3: whole political tension that has been happening for so long now,
- 31:14Speaker 3: new stations that's what they cover. Unfortunately, it's a lot
- 31:16Speaker 3: of doom and gloom. And they're like they've that's what
- 31:19Speaker 3: they get over there, you know, on the BBC and everything.
- 31:21Speaker 3: That's that's the doom and gloom. But then they came
- 31:23Speaker 3: here for the World Cup to support their team and
- 31:25Speaker 3: they're like, we have not paid for a meal here.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Americans are so kind, They've offered us places to sleep.
- 31:30Speaker 2: They'red beers, really are.
- 31:33Speaker 3: And so that's what I love about this is then
- 31:36Speaker 3: we can kind of see how good we actually do
- 31:38Speaker 3: have it and how patriotic we can be. And I
- 31:41Speaker 3: think that's the bright side. But in terms of buying merch, yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 3: I haven't seen anything. No.
- 31:44Speaker 5: I had to pick up a couple of shirts. I
- 31:46Speaker 5: bought a couple of shirts for the fourth and I
- 31:48Speaker 5: had to get them off the zon.
- 31:49Speaker 2: But I did.
- 31:50Speaker 5: I was digging through uh my shorts drawer and at
- 31:53Speaker 5: the very bottom, I defind my American flag shorts.

- 55:20Speaker 9: Got?
- 55:20Speaker 6: Okay so this is From noel and she asks for our.
- 55:23Speaker 6: Help she, SAYS i have a nine year old. Daughter
- 55:27Speaker 6: her dad AND i broke up when she was, five
- 55:29Speaker 6: so as far as she, knows mama is single and
- 55:31Speaker 6: that's All i'll ever. BE i don't go on, Dates
- 55:34Speaker 6: i'm not on any of the, apps and When i'm done,
- 55:37Speaker 6: working all of my time is spent on. Her this,
- 55:40Speaker 6: YEAR i turned thirty, two AND i don't know what
- 55:42Speaker 6: kicked in for, me BUT i got an immediate feeling
- 55:45Speaker 6: of fomo when it comes to. LOVE i totally feel
- 55:48Speaker 6: Like i'm just letting my person slip away from, me
- 55:51Speaker 6: which is weird Because i've never cared about a person.
- 55:53Speaker 6: BEFORE i tried talking about this to my, brother he's
- 55:57Speaker 6: super close to, me and we had an interesting talk about.
- 56:00Speaker 2: It he had this.
- 56:01Speaker 6: Take he, SAID i can't date until my daughter leaves
- 56:04Speaker 6: the house or is at least. Sixteen he says it's
- 56:08Speaker 6: too risky to bring a person into her. Life at this,
- 56:11Speaker 6: point AND i missed my window to introduce.
- 56:13Speaker 9: Her to a.
- 56:13Speaker 6: Stepdad he, said, specifically a kid this age is going
- 56:17Speaker 6: to feel like they're competing with someone. New that's a
- 56:20Speaker 6: good point right, there it really.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Is she, said what the? Frick what did my? Family
- 56:26Speaker 2: when did they get to decide what APPROACH i take with? Dating?
- 56:29Speaker 6: NOW i get his point that it's rough out there
- 56:32Speaker 6: AND i should stay, focused.
- 56:33Speaker 2: But life's way too, short. RIGHT i don't THINK i should.
- 56:36Speaker 6: Put my life on, hold even if it's to step
- 56:39Speaker 6: up to that parent. Role so she, Asked she's just,
- 56:42Speaker 6: like which way should she? Go this is new to
- 56:44Speaker 6: her when it comes to single parent. Dating so should
- 56:47Speaker 6: she take her daughter into consideration before she goes on these?
- 56:51Speaker 2: Dates or is she to just give up dating like
- 56:54Speaker 2: all together and you should give up? Dating or should she?
- 56:56Speaker 2: Try because here's the, thing and here's MY i.
- 56:59Speaker 6: Guess concern for her here is at thirty, two as a,
- 57:03Speaker 6: woman it's the internal, clock especially like if you want
- 57:06Speaker 6: to have another, Baby like it's not like we're not
- 57:09Speaker 6: like Al pacino where he can father a kid at eighty.
- 57:11Speaker 6: Four that's not how it works for. Us so you
- 57:13Speaker 6: get that clock ticking and the time just gets less
- 57:16Speaker 6: and less and less and, less and SO i just
- 57:18Speaker 6: feel and that's From, noel by the, Way noel And.
- 57:20Speaker 2: LAKEWOOD i just feel For.
- 57:22Speaker 6: Noel, yeah she's really got to think about what she
- 57:25Speaker 6: wants at this point in her, life because if she
- 57:27Speaker 6: wants another, kid that's something you have to take into
- 57:30Speaker 6: the equation as.
- 57:31Speaker 2: WELL i know we have a lot of single parents
- 57:33Speaker 2: that listen to this.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Show maybe you guys are dealing with whether or not
- 57:36Speaker 5: you should get back into the dating, world or maybe
- 57:39Speaker 5: you have and you've noticed that it has affected your,
- 57:42Speaker 5: relationship maybe with Your, kiddoh, yeah we want to hear from.
- 57:46Speaker 2: You what Should noel do? Here she's got a nine year, old.
- 57:49Speaker 6: Yeah nine year old, daughter nine year old looking.
- 57:51Speaker 2: To get back out in the dating.
- 57:53Speaker 5: Scene brother's, Saying, nah you gotta. Wait you gotta focus
- 57:56Speaker 5: on your kiddo right now versus your love. Life she's
- 57:59Speaker 5: maybe not feeling.
- 58:00Speaker 2: It what's your?
- 58:01Speaker 5: Advice THREE o three six nine one one mix THREE
- 58:05Speaker 5: o three six nine one sixteen forty. Nine what makes
- 58:10Speaker 5: her brother such an expert at? This that's WHAT i
- 58:12Speaker 5: want to know exactly Right, well why did he put.
- 58:15Speaker 2: The artificial date of. Sixteen, well and, HONESTLY.
- 58:18Speaker 6: I think he's just taking the kid's point into consideration
- 58:22Speaker 6: without anything from the, outside like he's only looking at
- 58:26Speaker 6: at it from that vantage, point WHICH i think is
- 58:28Speaker 6: a little unfair To. Noel she's a person and she is.
- 58:31Speaker 4: Feeling, yeah And, katie, Look i've dealt with a lot
- 58:33Speaker 4: of single moms, here, You.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Josh so you stories that we can't even tell on the,
- 58:38Speaker 2: air WHICH i.
- 58:41Speaker 4: THINK i think her, WAITING.
- 58:44Speaker 3: I think her waiting because of her brother and possibly
- 58:47Speaker 3: her own daughter would be a little foolish in her,
- 58:49Speaker 3: aspect because you still can't put your life on pause
- 58:53Speaker 3: just because your daughter might be uncomfortable with.
- 58:55Speaker 6: It at, first we care About noel's, happiness, Right, JOSH
- 58:58Speaker 6: i DO i give her my?
- 58:59Speaker 4: NUMBER i know we.
- 59:00Speaker 2: DO i know you.
- 59:01Speaker 5: Did nine year olds are gross and we got Court
- 59:03Speaker 5: court on the. Line Hi, Courtney, Hello, hello all, right
- 59:07Speaker 5: what do you Think noel should be?
- 59:09Speaker 15: Doing she should go out and she should go have
- 59:12Speaker 15: fun and meet.
- 59:13Speaker 12: People tear it.
- 59:14Speaker 2: Up huh? Yes why? Yes why is?
- 59:17Speaker 13: THAT i?
- 59:19Speaker 15: Think because, yeah you're a, mom but also that shouldn't
- 59:23Speaker 15: be your whole, Identity like you're still yourself and you
- 59:26Speaker 15: should still be able to go have your life without your,
- 59:29Speaker 15: kid and you should all also have your life with your.
- 59:32Speaker 6: Kid that's such a good, Point. COURTNEY i, think especially
- 59:36Speaker 6: when you're a young, MOM i think people just expect
- 59:39Speaker 6: you to one put all of your efforts towards your,
- 59:42Speaker 6: kid or.
- 59:42Speaker 2: You, know they label you a bad. Mom SO i
- 59:45Speaker 2: think you are so.
- 59:45Speaker 6: Right it's important to remember that you're a young woman as,
- 59:48Speaker 6: well and you still doesn't mean you take care of
- 59:51Speaker 6: your kid any.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Less, Right, yeah.
- 59:53Speaker 15: Exactly i'm in the same. Position i'm a single mom
- 59:56Speaker 15: just getting out into the dating world. Again and it
- 59:59Speaker 15: is a lot harder that you are a single mom
- 1:00:02Speaker 15: and you have a child because you don't want to
- 1:00:04Speaker 15: bring your child on.
- 1:00:05Speaker 13: Dates.
- 1:00:07Speaker 15: Yeah, Yeah also that kind of leads out the bad
- 1:00:11Speaker 15: guys that don't want to deal with your, children and
- 1:00:15Speaker 15: it's you should have some time away from your child
- 1:00:18Speaker 15: because everyone needs.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: That you should absolutely down team. Date, yes all, Right, Cork,
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: cork good luck out. There do you ever did you
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: find a good guy right?

- 1:01:01Speaker 12: WELL i met my kid's stepmom WHEN i was thirty
- 1:01:05Speaker 12: two and my daughter was four and my son was
- 1:01:08Speaker 12: about to turn, seven and that was eight years. Ago
- 1:01:12Speaker 12: and now like they love her more than they love
- 1:01:16Speaker 12: me or their. Mom AND i joke about, that BUT
- 1:01:19Speaker 12: i think it's.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: True so so it can. Work you're.
- 1:01:23Speaker 12: Saying, Yeah so it's like as long as you're not
- 1:01:27Speaker 12: introducing them right away and, like this is my new.
- 1:01:29Speaker 12: LOVER i just, said like she came over and was, like,
- 1:01:33Speaker 12: hey this is my friend for a, while and then
- 1:01:36Speaker 12: she's going to live with us now and then eventually
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: they figure it.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Out But, daddy was your door always? Closed why are
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: you hurting? Mommy?

- 1:01:51Speaker 3: Go.
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: HEY i got to ask, you was it hard to
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: find a balance when it came to spending too much
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: time away from the.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Kids with the new.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: Girlfriend the Reason i'm asking that IS i have somebody
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: in my life that is back in the dating scene
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: with a. Kid oh and the problem is is that
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: she is never around now because it's. Normal it's like
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: whenever we even when you don't have, kids you get
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: a new boyfriend or, girlfriend you want to spend all
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: the time with, him and you guys are always doing,
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: everything and she's doing that and she's kind of abandoning her.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Kids did you run into that at?
- 1:02:26Speaker 12: All SO i got kind of. Lucky and so with
- 1:02:30Speaker 12: me and their, mom we have split, custody so it's
- 1:02:34Speaker 12: like one WEEK i have, them one WEEK i. Don't
- 1:02:36Speaker 12: and then on the weeks THAT i do have, them
- 1:02:39Speaker 12: they were young enough and they would go to sleep around,
- 1:02:42Speaker 12: eight so she would just come over and we'd watch
- 1:02:45Speaker 12: a movie or. Whatever yeah or.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: Whatever, okay so you were.
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: Good you weren't bailing out on your time, then because
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: and that's definitely what's happening on my, end where even
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: though she has a week with the, kids she's coming up,

- 1:03:56Speaker 5: Though it is that slippery slope where if you find
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: a guy that you fall madly in love, with it

- 1:04:44Speaker 5: yeah just because she said there's too many weirdos out.
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: There she's, like and, HONESTLY i wouldn't trust anybody else
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: but the KIDS i wouldn't. Trust so she would wait
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: until they were you, know probably more, so like deep
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: into high school or.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Something, OKAY i don't. Know, again it's all.

- 1:05:12Speaker 6: Mean so Like, noel she's thirty, two she may still
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: want to add to her.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Family so her, weight she had put that in, there
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: you know WHAT i. Mean, like, yeah well that's the.
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: Thing is her waiting to you, know take place with all,
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: That LIKE i just feel like that's a different.

- 1:05:38Speaker 3: Unite this is a story about the grass that is
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: being used during THE Fifa World cup because they are
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: so strict about how their or what their players play
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: on the surface that they play on because they want
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: to minimize the injury risk for these, players and AstroTurf
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: actually brings a lot of injury risks Like ACL's, achilles
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: those types of, things and so they take their grass very.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Seriously jeremy and so many many many colleges all around
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: The United states took seven years to plan out how
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: they wanted to roll out this type of grass on the.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: Field and our Guy Justin lang was talking about. It
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: it's called a copper.
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: Harbord we grow it on a sod farm In Washington
- 1:06:19Speaker 9: state and it was famed on the sod farm for twelve.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: Knocks when we, harvested put.
- 1:06:23Speaker 9: It on the back of a, truck calms, down and
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: we lie it out and it's pretty much ready plight.
- 1:06:28Speaker 9: Turf we don't got to the, point, right signed good
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: night to it every, night but while tucking it into
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: bad but not far off at.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Rot okay loves his, grass doesn't he love his?
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: VOICE i could listen to this talk about grass and

- 1:06:43Speaker 3: they've Taken kentucky, bluegrass perennial rye, grass and Of bermuda.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: GRASS i put that all together and IT'S i, know,
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: right and it's like a ninety five percent real grass to.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Synthetic and what they do at the bottom half of,
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: it which is really, interesting is they put like a
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: plastic layer and it makes the roots instead of growing
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: down into the, ground they spread out sideways.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: So that it locks.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: The. Flavoring that's exactly what it, does and it makes
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: it able to where if a player puts a divot
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: in the grass or anything with his cleats, on they
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: can just cut out that little square and pop another
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: spot back in. Fun it's plug and, play, or As
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: Justin langle likes to, say plug and.
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: Plight, Yes australian accent is.
