- 0:30chicken scoop you can obviously hear everyone is very excited
- 0:34this morning, everyone's right at the door, as I walk in to
- 0:38greet them getting ready to get out and play in the yard today,
- 0:44noisy group. Okay.
- 0:46So today hope you're starting your day off in a great way.
- 0:51I know I am obviously if I'm out here with my girls and my few
- 0:55guys that I've got out here, I'm going to talk to you this
- 0:59morning about Out what your dominant mental attitude, is I
- 1:04love that phrase. Joseph Murphy uses it a lot in
- 1:07his writing dominant mental attitude and what does it really
- 1:11mean? So it's the one that you keep
- 1:14with you. The most, the thing that has the
- 1:16most effect in your life overall is your dominant mental
- 1:21attitude. What do you have going on behind
- 1:24the scenes that nobody knows about what do you have happening
- 1:28that? Nobody really sees Or really can
- 1:32hear about so to speak because it's all inside your head but
- 1:36that is the point of attraction that you're dealing with.
- 1:39That's the point of where you begin every moment of every day
- 1:43is that dominant mental attitude.
- 1:45So, one of the things that I have to say about chickens that
- 1:49I've learned is that they forget everything pretty pretty quickly
- 1:53and I love that. I wish the humans could do that
- 1:56quite as quickly because you can forget things quickly, you can
- 1:59just move on, right? And they move on very, very
- 2:02quickly, they just take it up. So, I am actually loving this,
- 2:07as an example, to tell you guys, because I think, when something
- 2:10happens there over it, two seconds later.
- 2:12Very much like dogs, You Ever Leave the Room, you've got a
- 2:14dog, you leave the room, and you come back in the dogs, excited
- 2:17to see you again. You're like, I didn't go
- 2:18anywhere. Well, it's because the dogs live
- 2:21in the moment, the chickens live in the moment and they don't let
- 2:24their predominant mental attitude.
- 2:27Drive them, we let our predominant.
- 2:30Mental attitude drive us. So if we consistently think
- 2:34about thoughts over and over and over again, that becomes our
- 2:37predominant mental attitude and then that affects everything
- 2:40we're doing. So what's so important to
- 2:43remember is that you don't have to stay stuck like that you
- 2:49don't have to be in that state of mind.
- 2:51You do have to interrupt it though because unlike you know
- 2:54animals who can click it off right away.
- 2:58We have the ability to choose and we just go into a direction
- 3:03that is most of the time, not resourceful because we get stuck
- 3:07in panic and fear. So it's all about identifying,
- 3:11what is your predominant mental attitude today?
- 3:14Take the time to figure out where am I emotionally?
- 3:17Where am I putting the energy of most of my thoughts so that I
- 3:21know exactly how to stop it because if you don't know where
- 3:25you are, you can't possibly figure out where you're going.
- 3:28And that's probably one of the biggest lessons in, you know,
- 3:31growing yourself and personally getting better.
- 3:34At what you do is understanding wholeheartedly, where am I
- 3:39currently? People always want to know where
- 3:42they're going to go. They're always talking about,
- 3:44oh, well, where am I going to go?
- 3:46Where am I going to go? Where am I going to go?
- 3:48You know, I got to have my goals, I got to have this, I
- 3:49can't have this, but nobody stops and says, where am I right
- 3:52now? I should say nobody.
- 3:54Lots of people don't stop and figure out where our am.
- 3:57I right? Now, what are the things that I
- 3:59need to clean up? What are the things that I need
- 4:01to shift and change? And most importantly, what do I
- 4:04spend all my time thinking about?
- 4:06What do I spend all my time dealing with?
- 4:08Because if I can do that, if I can figure that piece out, then
- 4:11I'm really doing some cleanup work and I'm not just putting a
- 4:15bandaid on something. So, your challenge today is to
- 4:18really focus on what is that, predominant, mental attitude,
- 4:21going on behind the scenes. And as you can hear, Simon's
- 4:25predominant mental attitude right now is letting everybody
- 4:27know. That he is large and in charge
- 4:30this morning. So, I hope you guys have a great
- 4:32day and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
- 4:28That he is large and in charge this morning.
- 4:31So, I hope you guys have a great day and I look forward to seeing
- 4:33you tomorrow.
