- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:05Speaker 1: The other day we were talking about a article about
- 0:08Speaker 1: conspiracy theories surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and how all of the
- 0:12Speaker 1: people that are always claiming, oh this is a conspiracy theory,
- 0:15Speaker 1: that's a conspiracy theory, can never answer any of the
- 0:19Speaker 1: real questions at the heart of the matter. Such as,
- 0:22Speaker 1: why doesn't the video of Epstein's alleged suicide no longer exist?
- 0:27Speaker 1: And furthermore, Where were the people who were in charge
- 0:30Speaker 1: of the chain of custody of that video? And how
- 0:32Speaker 1: come they haven't been brought up on charges? So all
- 0:36Speaker 1: of the anti-conspiracy theory knuckleheads in the legacy media, how
- 0:41Speaker 1: about you start answering some questions? Before you run around
- 0:44Speaker 1: and start painting people with your big ass broad brush.
- 0:48Speaker 1: And instead of looking for conspiracy theories around every bush,
- 0:52Speaker 1: how about you use some of those resources to dig
- 0:55Speaker 1: into some of these real questions that people have. But instead,
- 0:58Speaker 1: these outlets would rather spend their time and their resources
- 1:02Speaker 1: maligning people who have legitimate questions. Now look, I'm not
- 1:05Speaker 1: talking about the crazy conspiracy theories. You know, Jeffrey Epstein's
- 1:09Speaker 1: alive on an island with Elvis. All the other weird
- 1:12Speaker 1: stuff that we've heard. That's not what I'm talking about.
- 1:15Speaker 1: That shit is all Lululand crazy. No doubt about it.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I'm talking about the real heart of the matter here.
- 1:22Speaker 1: The real issue at hand. How did all of this
- 1:25Speaker 1: go down? And in the aftermath, how is it that
- 1:28Speaker 1: this video just disappears without anyone being the wiser? You
- 1:33Speaker 1: mean to tell me this doesn't cause more of an uproar?
- 1:36Speaker 1: And the real thing that cracks me up about this
- 1:38Speaker 1: whole entire thing is we're basically relying on Bill Barr
- 1:43Speaker 1: as the only person who has seen the so-called video,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and we're relying on Darth Barr to be honest with us.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I think it's been well established at this point that
- 1:52Speaker 1: Bill Barr is part of the problem. and I don't
- 1:55Speaker 1: care if you're a Republican or a Democrat, I don't
- 1:58Speaker 1: know how anyone can look at Bill Barr and be like, ah,
- 2:01Speaker 1: you know what? This is a good individual who has
- 2:03Speaker 1: our best interest at heart. Let me be clear. Anyone
- 2:07Speaker 1: left over from the Bush administration is certainly not somebody
- 2:10Speaker 1: we should trust. I've been saying that since Bill Barr
- 2:13Speaker 1: became Attorney General, and I'll say it until the cows
- 2:16Speaker 1: come home. The guy's smarmy, he's up to something, and
- 2:20Speaker 1: he is not trustworthy. And I don't believe a word
- 2:24Speaker 1: he has to say when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein.
- 2:26Speaker 1: If you want to believe him, you're more than welcome
- 2:29Speaker 1: to do so. Me personally, I don't put any stock
- 2:32Speaker 1: in what the man has to say. Alright, so today
- 2:36Speaker 1: we have an article from Fox Business. And this article
- 2:39Speaker 1: is from January 10th of 2020. Headline, Epstein's alleged suicide
- 2:45Speaker 1: attempt video no longer exists. Oh, that's convenient, huh? How
- 2:49Speaker 1: does that happen? I guess it's just a coincidence. Just
- 2:52Speaker 1: another issue that we should chalk up to coincidence. The
- 2:57Speaker 1: footage does not exist on the jail's backup video system
- 3:01Speaker 1: as a result of technical errors. There sure were a
- 3:03Speaker 1: lot of errors that day. A lot of things went
- 3:05Speaker 1: wrong all at the right time, huh? Talk about a
- 3:08Speaker 1: perfect storm. Video footage of the area around Jeffrey Epstein's
- 3:14Speaker 1: jail cell on a day he survived an apparent suicide
- 3:17Speaker 1: attempt no longer exists, federal prosecutors told a judge on Thursday.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So it's pretty convenient that he gets put in a
- 3:24Speaker 1: cell with Nicholas Tartaglione. Then all of a sudden he
- 3:28Speaker 1: has this quote unquote suicide attempt and there's no video
- 3:31Speaker 1: of it. The video no longer exists. So again, who
- 3:35Speaker 1: was in charge of that video? Who was in charge
- 3:37Speaker 1: of making sure that it stayed saved and was put
- 3:41Speaker 1: away for later? And did that person face any penalties
- 3:44Speaker 1: for being bad at their job? Of course they didn't.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Officials at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York believe
- 3:53Speaker 1: they had preserved footage of guards finding Epstein after he
- 3:56Speaker 1: appeared to have attempted suicide, but actually saved a video
- 3:59Speaker 1: from a different part of the jail. Prosecutors said, you know,
- 4:03Speaker 1: just operator error here, folks. Nothing to see here. Just
- 4:06Speaker 1: keep moving along. Stop asking questions. How dare you ask questions,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you conspiracy theorist. The FBI has also determined that the
- 4:16Speaker 1: footage does not exist on the jail's backup video system
- 4:19Speaker 1: as a result of technical errors. Assistant U.S. Attorney Maureen
- 4:23Speaker 1: Comey and Jason Swergold wrote in a court filing, So,
- 4:27Speaker 1: the original video doesn't exist, there's no backup footage of it, and,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you know, we should just accept that and chalk it
- 4:33Speaker 1: up as a failure. Well, that's unacceptable to me. It's
- 4:38Speaker 1: been unacceptable since the time it happened, and it remains unacceptable.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Is there no accountability for these people? You and I
- 4:45Speaker 1: are the only ones that have to be accountable for
- 4:47Speaker 1: our behavior. I guess if you get a job at
- 4:49Speaker 1: the FBI, it's no big deal, right? I mean, I
- 4:52Speaker 1: shouldn't be shocked, considering we had two of the hijackers
- 4:56Speaker 1: from 9-11 living with an FBI informant before 9-11 happened,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and these idiots weren't none the wiser. So I guess
- 5:03Speaker 1: I shouldn't be too shocked here. The revelation came despite
- 5:09Speaker 1: assurances prosecutors made that jail officials were preserving the footage
- 5:13Speaker 1: at the request of a defense attorney for Nicholas D'Artaglione,
- 5:17Speaker 1: a former police officer who shared a cell with Epstein
- 5:20Speaker 1: in July when the wealthy financier pedophile was discovered with
- 5:24Speaker 1: bruises on his neck and then placed on suicide watch.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So here's the biggest issue. He was put in this
- 5:29Speaker 1: jail cell with Nicholas D'Artaglione, who was alleged murderer of three,
- 5:35Speaker 1: four people. And Epstein was supposed to be one of
- 5:38Speaker 1: the most guarded prisoners at this time. Yet he's put
- 5:42Speaker 1: in general population with Nicholas Tartaglione and just magically the
- 5:47Speaker 1: video doesn't work? That's supposed to be recording footage on
- 5:50Speaker 1: his jail cell? I mean, there's a whole lot that
- 5:54Speaker 1: you want me to accept as coincidence here, folks. And
- 5:58Speaker 1: me being a realist, it's very difficult to accept all
- 6:02Speaker 1: of it as coincidence. Some of it, for sure. Just
- 6:05Speaker 1: the technical error maybe on the backup, alright, I get it.
- 6:08Speaker 1: But all of it going wrong at the most opportune time?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Seems like a bit of a stretch. Epstein later hanged himself, allegedly,
- 6:18Speaker 1: in jail on August 10th while awaiting trial on sex
- 6:21Speaker 1: trafficking charges, officials said. Tartaglione's defense attorney, Bruce Barket, told
- 6:27Speaker 1: the Associated Press he intends to ask U.S. District Judge
- 6:30Speaker 1: Kenneth Karras to hold a hearing with live testimony to
- 6:34Speaker 1: determine what happened to the missing video. Or, and now
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm just guessing here, was Tartaglione put into that jail
- 6:43Speaker 1: cell on purpose? And was that video lost on purpose?
- 6:47Speaker 1: You want to talk about coincidences, well... We have to
- 6:50Speaker 1: talk about all scenarios, right? And once again, let's be
- 6:54Speaker 1: very clear. The FBI and the Department of Justice is
- 6:57Speaker 1: still being very hesitant in releasing information around this guy's death.
- 7:04Speaker 1: There's no ongoing investigation anymore. Epstein's dead. Maxwell's in jail.
- 7:08Speaker 1: What are you guys talking about? And then you wonder
- 7:11Speaker 1: why people have questions. In the lack of transparency, folks,
- 7:15Speaker 1: conspiracy theory shows up. The various and inconsistent accounts of
- 7:22Speaker 1: what happened to that video are deeply troubling, Barkett said
- 7:25Speaker 1: in an email. Tartaglione is charged in what prosecutors have
- 7:29Speaker 1: described as the gangland-style killings of four men who disappeared
- 7:33Speaker 1: during a cocaine-related dispute. So, this is the guy you
- 7:37Speaker 1: put Epstein in the cell with? You don't get one
- 7:41Speaker 1: of the jailhouse snitches to go and be his cellmate
- 7:44Speaker 1: to try and glean some information from him? Now, let's
- 7:47Speaker 1: put him in with a guy facing four homicides who
- 7:50Speaker 1: really could use some clout in jail right now, an ex-cop.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Imagine getting the clout of killing Epstein. Oh, I killed
- 7:56Speaker 1: the child molester. I might be a cop, but let
- 7:59Speaker 1: me get my stripes. Barkett said the jailhouse video would
- 8:05Speaker 1: have supported his position that Tartaglione acted appropriately on the
- 8:09Speaker 1: day in question, alluding to questions about whether Epstein had
- 8:13Speaker 1: been attacked. Now, let's remember Epstein said that he was attacked. Okay,
- 8:17Speaker 1: that's what he originally said. A spokesman for the Bureau
- 8:21Speaker 1: of Prisons declined to comment, citing an ongoing investigation. It's
- 8:25Speaker 1: always an ongoing investigation. Your radar should be up anytime
- 8:29Speaker 1: you hear it's an ongoing investigation and they don't want you,
- 8:33Speaker 1: the citizen, to have information. We're not supposed to live
- 8:37Speaker 1: in this closed-ass society. Now, if it's national security, I understand.
- 8:41Speaker 1: This is not national security. This is the FBI trying
- 8:44Speaker 1: to whitewash their involvement. One of Epstein's attorneys, Mark Furnish,
- 8:50Speaker 1: said the missing video only adds to the unanswered questions
- 8:53Speaker 1: and deepens the air of mystery surrounding Epstein's death, feeding
- 8:57Speaker 1: the perception that the public will never really know what
- 9:00Speaker 1: happened and that the powers that be really aren't interested
- 9:03Speaker 1: in finding out. I guess Mark Furnish is a conspiracy
- 9:06Speaker 1: theorist too, because that's really, at the end of the day,
- 9:10Speaker 1: we want real answers. And for me, anyway, it's about
- 9:14Speaker 1: making sure this shit doesn't happen again. If there's systemic errors,
- 9:17Speaker 1: let's fix them. But we just go round and round
- 9:21Speaker 1: and round, all these stupid internal reports, all of this
- 9:24Speaker 1: dumbass nonsense, and nothing real ever gets done. Nothing about
- 9:30Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's prosecution and death in federal custody surprises, or
- 9:34Speaker 1: could surprise me at this point, Furnish added. The U.S.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Attorney's Office in Manhattan said in Thursday's court filing that
- 9:41Speaker 1: jailhouse officials had preserved the video for the correct date
- 9:44Speaker 1: and time, but captured the wrong part of the jail.
- 9:47Speaker 1: They said the jail's computer system listed a different, incorrect
- 9:51Speaker 1: cell for Tartaglione. Oh, well, isn't that nice? Does anyone
- 9:56Speaker 1: really believe that? I mean, let's be honest. I know
- 10:01Speaker 1: there's people out there that'll believe anything the government tells them,
- 10:04Speaker 1: but man, oh man, this is a serious, serious stretch.
- 10:10Speaker 1: The government further understands from the Federal Bureau of Investigation
- 10:14Speaker 1: that it has reviewed that backup system as part of
- 10:17Speaker 1: an unrelated investigation and determined that the requested video no
- 10:21Speaker 1: longer exists on the backup system and has not since
- 10:24Speaker 1: at least August 2019 as a result of technical errors.
- 10:29Speaker 1: The prosecutors wrote, boy, sure is convenient for the federal
- 10:33Speaker 1: government that there's some technical errors that go in their favor.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Sure seems that happens for them quite a bit, especially
- 10:39Speaker 1: in this case. Let me ask you a question. When's
- 10:42Speaker 1: the last time a technical error went in your favor?
- 10:46Speaker 1: The footage in question involves the July 23rd episode in
- 10:50Speaker 1: which correctional officers say they found Epstein on the floor
- 10:53Speaker 1: of his cell with a strip of bed sheet around
- 10:55Speaker 1: his neck. Michael Thomas, one of the officers charged with
- 10:58Speaker 1: falsifying records the night Epstein died, was one of the
- 11:02Speaker 1: officers who responded to that scene. Oh, isn't that convenient?
- 11:05Speaker 1: So the officer responds to the scene of the first suicide,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and the same officer is the guy watching Epstein the
- 11:10Speaker 1: night he dies? Nah, let's make sure that these guys
- 11:13Speaker 1: don't have any charges thrown against them. Do you guys
- 11:16Speaker 1: not see what's wrong here? You not see the glaring problem?
- 11:23Speaker 1: Epstein was moved out of that cell and placed on
- 11:26Speaker 1: suicide watch. He was transferred back to the jail's special
- 11:29Speaker 1: housing unit July 30th, meaning he was less closely monitored,
- 11:33Speaker 1: but still supposed to be checked every 30 minutes. He
- 11:36Speaker 1: was also required to have a cellmate, but he was
- 11:38Speaker 1: left with none after his cellmate was transferred out of
- 11:42Speaker 1: the jail August 9th, the day before his death, authorities
- 11:45Speaker 1: have said. And I've said it a million times. Was
- 11:48Speaker 1: Tartaglione there to send a message to Epstein? Look, this
- 11:52Speaker 1: is the result, bro. If you don't kill yourself, someone
- 11:56Speaker 1: will kill you. So get to work. Again, speculation on
- 12:00Speaker 1: my part, but who knows? Prosecutors charged the two officers
- 12:05Speaker 1: responsible for guarding Epstein the night he died with falsifying
- 12:09Speaker 1: prison records to conceal they were sleeping and browsing the
- 12:12Speaker 1: internet during the hours they were supposed to be keeping
- 12:15Speaker 1: a close watch on prisoners. So again, all of this
- 12:18Speaker 1: just happens to happen at the same exact time. It's
- 12:22Speaker 1: almost a conspiracy theory to think that the narrative that
- 12:25Speaker 1: they're pitching to you is real. But there's these stooges
- 12:29Speaker 1: out here in the legacy media who refuse to go
- 12:32Speaker 1: further than surface deep. And the result is a lot
- 12:35Speaker 1: of misinformation gets pumped out there, and a lot of
- 12:38Speaker 1: you get misinformation. The falsification of records has been a
- 12:44Speaker 1: problem throughout the federal prison system. And here's the whitewash.
- 12:48Speaker 1: You notice how they have to add that? Well, it's
- 12:50Speaker 1: a problem throughout the system, so it's not really an
- 12:52Speaker 1: issue here. And that's what they try to do. And
- 12:55Speaker 1: they try and... manipulate the way things go, right? By
- 13:00Speaker 1: telling you, well, it's a systemic error. And this is
- 13:02Speaker 1: something that usually happens here. What they won't tell you
- 13:05Speaker 1: is this, that there was only one other suicide at
- 13:08Speaker 1: the lockup Epstein was at in like 21 years. So
- 13:12Speaker 1: it's not like a common occurrence there, like they tried
- 13:14Speaker 1: to make it out to be. The Federal Bureau of Prisons,
- 13:19Speaker 1: which for years has been plagued by extensive staffing shortages,
- 13:22Speaker 1: chronic violence, and serious misconduct, has come under increased scrutiny
- 13:26Speaker 1: since Epstein's death in August. Here we go again, it's always,
- 13:31Speaker 1: oh well, we have staffing shortages, this, that, the other thing.
- 13:35Speaker 1: The Bureau of Prisons has the biggest budget out of
- 13:38Speaker 1: all of these agencies. How is it that you have
- 13:40Speaker 1: staffing shortages? Staffing shortages within the Bureau are so severe
- 13:47Speaker 1: that guards are regularly forced to work mandatory overtime, sometimes
- 13:51Speaker 1: day after day, and violence leads to regular lockdowns at
- 13:54Speaker 1: prison compounds across the nation. A congressional report also found
- 13:59Speaker 1: that bad behavior is ignored or covered up on a
- 14:02Speaker 1: regular basis within the Bureau. So they find all of
- 14:06Speaker 1: this out, they have their meetings, and then Congress does
- 14:08Speaker 1: nothing about it. Then you wonder why people look at
- 14:12Speaker 1: them holding all of their committees and this, that, and
- 14:15Speaker 1: the other thing and look at it as bread and circus.
- 14:20Speaker 1: After Epstein's death in August, Attorney General William Barr said
- 14:23Speaker 1: the financier pedophile's ability to take his own life inside
- 14:27Speaker 1: one of the most secure jails in America raised serious
- 14:30Speaker 1: questions that must be answered. Barr removed the agency's acting
- 14:34Speaker 1: director in the wake of Epstein's death and named Kathleen
- 14:37Speaker 1: Hawk Sawyer the prison's agency director from 92 until 2003
- 14:41Speaker 1: to replace him. Another retread. Somebody who's already been there
- 14:45Speaker 1: and done it and has proved that they don't know
- 14:47Speaker 1: what they're doing. So let's just have another retread come through. Again,
- 14:50Speaker 1: it's like the NFL. If you have a team, how
- 14:52Speaker 1: many times are you going to have Wade Wilson as
- 14:54Speaker 1: your head coach before you figure out the dude sucks?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Bill Barr told the AP he had personally reviewed security
- 15:03Speaker 1: footage from the night Epstein took his own life, which
- 15:06Speaker 1: confirmed that no one entered the area where Epstein was
- 15:08Speaker 1: housed on the night he died. I do not believe
- 15:12Speaker 1: one word coming out of Bill Barr's mouth. If you
- 15:14Speaker 1: want to believe Darth Barr, that's your business. Me? I
- 15:18Speaker 1: don't like liars, and I don't like people who have
- 15:20Speaker 1: not shot straight from day one. And that most certainly
- 15:23Speaker 1: is Bill Barr. This whole entire thing is foobar, folks.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It stinks to high, Evan. And the people out there
- 15:30Speaker 1: yapping about conspiracy theories, well, how about they do some
- 15:34Speaker 1: articles and dig a little bit deeper about what went
- 15:37Speaker 1: on here? And I don't want to hear about systemic
- 15:40Speaker 1: failures anymore. We know we've known about it for years
- 15:43Speaker 1: and years and years and you continue to let it happen.
- 15:47Speaker 1: So at what point do you become culpable for letting
- 15:49Speaker 1: it occur even right under your nose? And I'd say, folks,
- 15:53Speaker 1: we are at that point. It is about time. We
- 15:55Speaker 1: have some accountability from all of these agencies, the FBI,
- 16:00Speaker 1: the Bureau of Prisons, and our elected officials. All right, folks,
- 16:05Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this episode. If you'd
