REHCARGE | The Church: Who Gives the Church Its Authority?
Every organization exists by permission of the state—but does the church? In this message, Pastor Jason Smith explains why the local church does not exist by human approval or government allowance, but by the direct authority of Jesus Christ Himself.
Using Scripture and clear imagery, this sermon helps us see the church not as a club, service provider, or building, but as the visible expression of Christ’s invisible kingdom—an embassy of heaven on earth. As the body of Christ, every believer matters, every gift is needed, and our unity is rooted in the Gospel, not preference or culture.
