- 0:22Speaker 3: The Cracket continued their six game homestand Saturday.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Against Auto Up.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Jacob Alonsa put Seattle up one nothing midway through the first,
- 0:30Speaker 3: but that momentum was short lived, with Autowup betting four.
- 0:34Speaker 1: In a row to take a four to one lead.
- 0:36Speaker 3: The SAMs ultimately stretched their lead the seven to two
- 0:39Speaker 3: and the third before the Kraken added a pair.
- 0:42Speaker 1: For some window dressing on a four to seven to
- 0:44Speaker 1: four loss.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Tonight and what comes as close to must win as
- 0:49Speaker 3: you can get, Seattle welcomes in the Nashville Predators. You
- 0:52Speaker 3: are just three points back of the Kraken for that
- 0:55Speaker 3: second and final wildcard spot, all while having just two
- 0:59Speaker 3: wins in their last eight games. Good evening, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:03Speaker 3: welcome inside of climbing Plaigarina alongside Al koniski I am
- 1:07Speaker 3: Evert FITZI. This is Seattle Kragenhaughkye on the Global Credit
- 1:10Speaker 3: Union crack an audio network. You are listening to the
- 1:13Speaker 3: pregame show served up by Cross Grew CORSLF Choose Chill
- 1:17Speaker 3: Partner cracking two and four out of their Olympic break,
- 1:20Speaker 3: Lane Lambert and a lot of members of that Crack
- 1:23Speaker 3: in locker room needing more, Needing that compete level to
- 1:26Speaker 3: be a lot higher, Needing that attention to detail to be.
- 1:30Speaker 1: A lot higher.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It was a good first ten minutes for Seattle, but
- 1:33Speaker 3: they could not sustain that opening pressure, falling seven to
- 1:37Speaker 3: four to the.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Sense, Yeah, a little too sloppy in their own zone.
- 1:40Speaker 5: You know, I give them a lot of credit to
- 1:41Speaker 5: getting the first goal of the game. Huge four at
- 1:44Speaker 5: four straight games, getting the first goal of the game.
- 1:46Speaker 5: You want that, but it takes so much more to
- 1:48Speaker 5: win at the NHL level.
- 1:49Speaker 4: You can't give up mistakes in your own zone.
- 1:51Speaker 5: Too many passes through the slot area gave Ottawa way
- 1:54Speaker 5: too many chances on.
- 1:56Speaker 3: That and you mentioned those mistakes, Lane Lambert telling us
- 1:58Speaker 3: this morning and really the yesterday as well, have practice
- 2:01Speaker 3: that these mistakes very uncharacteristic for a team going into
- 2:05Speaker 3: now game sixty three on the season.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it really is.
- 2:08Speaker 5: And you know, the team battled with a little bit
- 2:10Speaker 5: of sickness, So easy to look at that, but this
- 2:13Speaker 5: time of year, you really need to look at every
- 2:15Speaker 5: game as a playoff game, and you can't be making
- 2:17Speaker 5: those kind of kinds.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Of mistakes in the playoffs.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Special teams has played a large part in the Krakens
- 2:22Speaker 3: games the last handful. In their last five, Seattle will
- 2:25Speaker 3: pair for seven for seven on the PK, but on
- 2:28Speaker 3: the other side of that, just two for their last
- 2:31Speaker 3: twenty one on the power play in their previous sets.
- 2:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, they're opposite to forces pulling against each other.
- 2:36Speaker 4: You haven't given up a.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Power play goal in five games, but in the last
- 2:40Speaker 5: five you're two for seventeen, just over eleven percent. If
- 2:43Speaker 5: you can figure out this power play thing a little
- 2:44Speaker 5: bit and maintain that penalty kill, you put yourself in
- 2:47Speaker 5: that in that playoff mentality.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Across the red line, the nashvilleip Predators, very similarly to
- 2:53Speaker 3: the Seattle crack in a little bit up and down.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Since they've come back from the Olympic break, they are
- 2:58Speaker 3: two four and two in their life eight games, only
- 3:01Speaker 3: been outscored twenty eight to twenty five.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Their pk is or powerplay rather.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Has done pretty well, but they've been losing close games.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Seven of their last eight have been decided by one
- 3:12Speaker 3: or two goals.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I've giving up a lot of goals even strength.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Despite how well their their special teams are looking right now,
- 3:17Speaker 5: thirteen for fourteen of their of their last fourteen penalty
- 3:20Speaker 5: kills ninety two percent, a power play sit there thirty
- 3:23Speaker 5: one percent. They've got their special teams locked in. It's
- 3:26Speaker 5: even strength where they're faltering.
- 3:27Speaker 3: And that's where they want to win the game as
- 3:29Speaker 3: well as of right now all time, at this point
- 3:32Speaker 3: of the season in Nashville Predator history, they've got the
- 3:35Speaker 3: highest percentage of their goals scored at even strength one
- 3:38Speaker 3: hundred and seventy seven of their two hundred and sixteen
- 3:40Speaker 3: goals have come even strength eighty two percent for them.
- 3:44Speaker 3: So they want to win this game. Try to win
- 3:46Speaker 3: this game here tonight five on five. The Kraken desperate
- 3:49Speaker 3: for points. We're desperate for more, Mike Benton. He's coming

- 7:17Speaker 11: here for tonight, where it is Women in Hockey Night
- 7:19Speaker 11: presented by Pitchbook. It is the six Cracking common thread
- 7:23Speaker 11: night of the season. Great look by the way at
- 7:26Speaker 11: Specialty Jerseys, the designer, the message onnorez and much more
- 7:30Speaker 11: at ninshell dot com slash Cracking. By the way, fans
- 7:34Speaker 11: can bid on each players signed jersey via the anchor
- 7:37Speaker 11: auction and buy merchandise which a nice design at Cracking
- 7:41Speaker 11: Team Stores. Cracking come into this one where it could
- 7:44Speaker 11: be a collision.
- 7:46Speaker 4: It is a record.
- 7:47Speaker 11: They stand right now at twenty nine twenty four and
- 7:50Speaker 11: nine point total at sixty seven into wildcard spot number
- 7:54Speaker 11: two in the West Nashville just three points back at
- 7:58Speaker 11: twenty eight twenty seven, eight point total ad sixty four
- 8:03Speaker 11: the Krack and by the way, eight four and one
- 8:05Speaker 11: all time against the Predators. Well, last time out wasn't
- 8:09Speaker 11: a pretty picture. Craken fell seven to four to two
- 8:11Speaker 11: Ottawa last Saturday, all this despite a one nothing lead
- 8:15Speaker 11: eight to forty five into the game. But then thirty
- 8:17Speaker 11: four seconds later Tyler Clevin tied things up at one
- 8:20Speaker 11: where Ottawa and bart On a run of four unanswered goals.
- 8:23Speaker 11: The Craken top line effectively also absent until it was
- 8:27Speaker 11: seven to two, where Matty Benirs scored ten sixteen into
- 8:30Speaker 11: period three. And on top of that, the Krack and
- 8:33Speaker 11: losing Jayden Schwartz to a scary cut in his face
- 8:36Speaker 11: late in the first period. He did not return and
- 8:39Speaker 11: has been ruled out immediately. So the Crack and trying
- 8:43Speaker 11: to pit their bearings back up here with two days
- 8:45Speaker 11: of rest in between. They had Sunday off in total,
- 8:48Speaker 11: and then Monday got to practice for roughly forty five minutes.
- 8:52Speaker 11: That practice included Bobby McMahon picked up at the trade
- 8:56Speaker 11: deadline of Corse from Toronto. He won't play tonight, still
- 8:59Speaker 11: awaiting in ration paperwork here to clear, but he said
- 9:02Speaker 11: the word about Seattle matches his first impression.
- 9:06Speaker 12: Really great fan base, new arena, which is sweet. I
- 9:10Speaker 12: heard really good things about the city when I got
- 9:13Speaker 12: traded here. As soon as I found out, everybody's like,
- 9:15Speaker 12: Seattle's great, You're gonna love it. You're gonna love the city.
- 9:19Speaker 12: All the areas are super nice. So I'm super excited
- 9:22Speaker 12: to kind of get out next floor a little bit
- 9:24Speaker 12: more so.
- 9:25Speaker 11: While the crack and wait for him to be clear.
- 9:27Speaker 11: Their picture is clear here for this evening, and here's
- 9:29Speaker 11: Matty Beniers, who knows with a two day break plus
- 9:32Speaker 11: this evening means for this team.
- 9:35Speaker 13: Good to get two days off obviously after last you
- 9:37Speaker 13: know game was pretty bad. You know, we just got
- 9:42Speaker 13: to refocus ourselves, get us back into the mindset of,
- 9:45Speaker 13: you know, playing the way we play, playing connected. We
- 9:48Speaker 13: know we're a really good hockey team when we do that,
- 9:50Speaker 13: and when we don't, obviously we don't don't play well.
- 9:52Speaker 13: So I think everyone knows the stakes of you know,
- 9:56Speaker 13: these last twenty games, and you know, now it's kind
- 9:59Speaker 13: of been hammered home, especially after a tough few tough losses,
- 10:02Speaker 13: and so it's it's, you know, it was go time,
- 10:04Speaker 13: but now it's it's really crunched them.
- 10:06Speaker 11: So the Kraken focusing on crunch time with the mindset
- 10:10Speaker 11: here to correct the course since the Olympic break, where
- 10:12Speaker 11: they've stood two and four ever since then outscore twenty
- 10:16Speaker 11: one to fifteen in the power play, just two for
- 10:18Speaker 11: twenty one. However, the turnaround Cans start with the penalty kill.
- 10:22Speaker 11: They are nine of their last ten in that stretch,
- 10:24Speaker 11: plus they've gotten now five straight games without allowing a
- 10:27Speaker 11: power play goal.
- 10:29Speaker 1: That's also where.
- 10:29Speaker 11: Emotional temperature comes into play, and coach Lane Lambert said
- 10:33Speaker 11: today he wants players to play with emotion and Veneer's
- 10:36Speaker 11: explain that further in deeper, meaning to where the Kraken
- 10:40Speaker 11: can dial it up without getting out of control.
- 10:42Speaker 13: Play as hard as you can within our structure. That's
- 10:44Speaker 13: what he always talks about, and you know, it's really
- 10:46Speaker 13: a good message for us to follow because you know,
- 10:50Speaker 13: we are structured team and when we play structure, we're
- 10:52Speaker 13: really tough to beat the Krack.
- 10:54Speaker 11: And also we're battling illness that is now subsiding as
- 10:56Speaker 11: far as our lineup updates are concerned. Ryan Lendren was
- 10:59Speaker 11: out game due to illness. He's back now this sevening
- 11:02Speaker 11: on a pairing with Brandon Montour. Freddie Goodrou also missed
- 11:05Speaker 11: due to illness. He's back and should play up front
- 11:08Speaker 11: here looks like with Elie Toulvenen and Chandler Stevenson. So
- 11:11Speaker 11: in total, Bobby McMahon is now due to immigration, Jayden
- 11:15Speaker 11: Schwartz is out upper body ailment. Calee Floury also takes
- 11:18Speaker 11: a seat as a result on the back end, cracking
- 11:21Speaker 11: story lines. First up again with top line presence and
- 11:24Speaker 11: can they get Jared mccambon, Maddy Veneer's in Jordan Eberley
- 11:27Speaker 11: going Benier's no goals or points in seven of the
- 11:30Speaker 11: last nine games. Mccam with no goals last eight games,
- 11:33Speaker 11: every no goals six of his last seven games. Yet
- 11:38Speaker 11: this game could also issue a bounce back here. Benier's
- 11:41Speaker 11: had two goals last matchup against Nashville. That was back
- 11:44Speaker 11: on New Year's Day, when that top line had four
- 11:47Speaker 11: points combined in their crack and victory over the Predators.
- 11:51Speaker 11: Second storyline, looking like Joey the Court starts to out
- 11:53Speaker 11: here for this evening and look at a rebound from
- 11:55Speaker 11: a rough night against Odawa this last Saturday. He allowed
- 11:59Speaker 11: seven goals a seat and high by the way on
- 12:01Speaker 11: thirty seven shots, but great totals against Nashville nine three
- 12:05Speaker 11: zero say percentage for the two to one to one
- 12:07Speaker 11: record in four lifetime matchups. In our third story line,
- 12:11Speaker 11: Chandler Stevenson's line, He's got Freddy Goudreau and Ellie Toulvenen
- 12:15Speaker 11: to ex Nashville Fords on his sides. Stevenson by the
- 12:19Speaker 11: way he's been a tough out here for Nashville. One
- 12:22Speaker 11: point three to three points per game in this lifetime
- 12:25Speaker 11: matchup for him. That basically computes to twenty four points
- 12:27Speaker 11: in eighteen career games against the Predators. Only four players
- 12:32Speaker 11: having better against Nashville in NHL history, did you know,
- 12:35Speaker 11: as Connor McDavid, Leon Dreissidle, Peter Forsberg and Quinn Hughes
- 12:40Speaker 11: as well. So we'll see if Stevenson's line can make
- 12:42Speaker 11: a massive impact here for this evening. Back to Benier's
- 12:45Speaker 11: right here, and he said the big key to taking
- 12:47Speaker 11: down Nashville's top threads play as a five man unit.
- 12:50Speaker 13: You know breakouts, you know de jumping in the play
- 12:53Speaker 13: for trying to make wall plays, you know Newtri's own,
- 12:56Speaker 13: just trying to get there through it as fast as
- 12:58Speaker 13: we can, playing quick, playing north you know Chip and
- 13:01Speaker 13: poxon when you need to and making place when you don't.
- 13:04Speaker 13: And then on the four check being a five men,
- 13:06Speaker 13: you're in a playing offense flaus five guys.
- 13:09Speaker 11: When we come back look at Nashville after this, you're
- 13:12Speaker 11: listening to the Global Credit Union crack An Audio Network.

- 16:23Speaker 11: in the Western Conference. Here's for Johnathan marches So telling
- 16:26Speaker 11: FanDuel Sports Network South how big this trip is in
- 16:30Speaker 11: the team bonding dynamic seas.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 18: Obviously some of them have been around a little bit
- 16:35Speaker 18: on certain call ups and some of them is their
- 16:37Speaker 18: first one. So it's it's all about making the sure
- 16:39Speaker 18: they're they're comfortable with us, and I mean, we're gonna
- 16:44Speaker 18: need everybody if we want to make a playoff pusher,
- 16:46Speaker 18: So it's it's important that they feel comfortable. And like
- 16:49Speaker 18: you say, we had a nice team dinner and it
- 16:51Speaker 18: was all really fun to be sitting with a lot
- 16:54Speaker 18: of new faces too. So uh yeah, it's it's it's
- 16:57Speaker 18: his biggest trivity here for us.
- 16:59Speaker 11: Sure that trip technically beginning in Buffalo, continuing here to Seattle,
- 17:03Speaker 11: and then it's Vancouver, Edmonton and Winnipeg as well. Where
- 17:07Speaker 11: Nashville recently comes off a period where they could have
- 17:09Speaker 11: been major sellers but were minor sellers if you will.
- 17:13Speaker 11: They kept Ryan O'Reilly and Steven Stamkost either didn't one
- 17:16Speaker 11: lever wouldn't move. There no movement clause. Yet the Nashville
- 17:19Speaker 11: Predators moved off Nick Blankenberg, Michael Bunting, Cole Smith, and
- 17:23Speaker 11: Michael McCarron. And that means four major holes here to
- 17:26Speaker 11: fill and where they had to go that was Ahl
- 17:29Speaker 11: Milwaukee to fill those holes, and one of them involving
- 17:32Speaker 11: Reid Schaeffer, a former Seattle Thunderbird, six points in twenty
- 17:37Speaker 11: eight games to begin his NHL campaign. They are still
- 17:40Speaker 11: vet heavy at the top though as far as scoring,
- 17:43Speaker 11: Ryan O'Reilly leads them sixty points from right behind him
- 17:46Speaker 11: Philip Forrestburg fifty three, Steven Stamcoast with fifty all of
- 17:50Speaker 11: them aged thirty one or older. Stam Coast, by the way,
- 17:54Speaker 11: just hit thirty goals ten times in his NHL career,
- 17:57Speaker 11: and by the way, he turned thirty six this last month.
- 18:00Speaker 11: Separate note, by the way, this year's Predators have players
- 18:03Speaker 11: age thirty or older account for seventy two percent of
- 18:06Speaker 11: their offense. That is second highest right now in NHL history,
- 18:10Speaker 11: the most since the Islanders back in six seven. So,
- 18:15Speaker 11: as we said, major sink or swim time for them.
- 18:17Speaker 11: They have thirteen to nineteen games left, all against teams
- 18:21Speaker 11: within eleven points of each other in the West, beginning
- 18:24Speaker 11: here for this week. National storylines FIRS up again with
- 18:27Speaker 11: their special teams game their power play with goals in
- 18:30Speaker 11: fifteen to the last nineteen games. Philip Forsburg leads them
- 18:34Speaker 11: nineteen points. Steven Stamcos leads them by the way with
- 18:37Speaker 11: nine goals. They're penalty killed by the way night and day.
- 18:40Speaker 11: At home. They're best in the NHL on the road.
- 18:43Speaker 11: A steep drop down to twenty third. Second story line,
- 18:47Speaker 11: UCI sorrows Sinett just one win last six outings for
- 18:50Speaker 11: him last game three goals allowed, twenty four shots at
- 18:53Speaker 11: Buffalo and against the Kraken five and eight and thirteen
- 18:56Speaker 11: games eight eight, nine save percentage. Now back of the
- 19:00Speaker 11: after this year with your three Kings, you're listening to

- 21:00Speaker 21: Benefits Life Insurance official life insurance partner of the Seattle Kraken.
- 21:06Speaker 4: This is Jayden Schwartz.
- 21:07Speaker 11: You're listening to Seattle Crack and Hockey on the Kraken
- 21:10Speaker 11: Audio Network.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Back inside of Climbate Pledge Arena. Kraken trying to get
- 21:14Speaker 3: back in the win column snap a two game slide
- 21:17Speaker 3: in game five of.
- 21:19Speaker 1: This six game home stand.
- 21:20Speaker 3: They got some help tonight in the scoreboard San Jose
- 21:24Speaker 3: losing in Buffalo by a six to three score of
- 21:27Speaker 3: the La Kings getting a point in overtime.
- 21:31Speaker 1: They lost in Boston two to one.
- 21:32Speaker 3: So what that means for the Kraken right now, as
- 21:36Speaker 3: they are now tied with the La Kings at sixty
- 21:39Speaker 3: seven points for that second and final wildcard spot. San
- 21:42Speaker 3: Jose still one point back in these preads here tonight
- 21:46Speaker 3: are three points back of Seattle, so the Kraken desperately need.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Two points here this evening partner. How can they get
- 21:51Speaker 5: it done well? First of all, they have to take
- 21:53Speaker 5: care of the details. Hockey games aren't usually lost on
- 21:56Speaker 5: the highlight real stuff. They're lost on the lazy line,
- 21:59Speaker 5: change the soft, clear up the wall, or the I
- 22:01Speaker 5: thought you had them defensive coverage Against a team like Nashville.
- 22:04Speaker 5: The Kraken need to button up the little things like
- 22:07Speaker 5: they're prepping to go out in the Seattle rainstorm. Short shifts,
- 22:10Speaker 5: clean breakouts, sticks in lanes, the boring stuff the coaches
- 22:14Speaker 5: love and fans only notice when it goes sideways.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Do those details right, and suddenly.
- 22:19Speaker 5: The game gets a whole lot easier and the Predators
- 22:21Speaker 5: start wondering why every inch of ice feels like their
- 22:24Speaker 5: cement of their skates. Secondly, attack them at even strength.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Special teams are great, but you can't sit around waiting
- 22:31Speaker 5: for the refs to hand you a power play like
- 22:32Speaker 5: a bag of pretzels on the Southwest flight. The Kraken
- 22:35Speaker 5: need to lean into Nashville five on five for checking
- 22:39Speaker 5: like a couple of raccoons that just found a ramp
- 22:41Speaker 5: up an unlocked diner dumpster. The Predator's team gives up
- 22:45Speaker 5: eighty two percent of the goals at even strength. Seattle's
- 22:48Speaker 5: death can cause problems if they keep the puck below
- 22:50Speaker 5: the Predator's goal line and make their defense turn and chase.
- 22:54Speaker 5: Wear them down, excuse me, wear them down. The national
- 22:57Speaker 5: defense will start making decisions that look like they were
- 23:00Speaker 5: made after a serving of gas station susion.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Every game, excuse me.
- 23:05Speaker 5: Third key is every game is like a playoff game
- 23:08Speaker 5: from here on in. The standings right now are tighter
- 23:11Speaker 5: than a three hundred level seat in a Husky stadium.
- 23:13Speaker 5: If the Kracking want to stay in the conversation, every
- 23:15Speaker 5: game has to have that playoff type edge, urgency, bite.
- 23:19Speaker 4: And maybe a little bit of attitude.
- 23:21Speaker 5: Finish your checks, get to the net, Intreat every puck
- 23:24Speaker 5: like it's the last drips of gravy and a Thanksgiving dinner.
- 23:28Speaker 5: Play that kind of with that kind of desk respiration,
- 23:30Speaker 5: and suddenly climb and putch Arena starts sounding like a
- 23:32Speaker 5: jet engine. Look, the formula isn't complicated. Clean up the
- 23:36Speaker 5: little details, punch Nashville in the nose at five on
- 23:39Speaker 5: five and play the game with the playoffs have already started.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Do that in the crack and should be just fine.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Don't do it, and we'll be all sitting here three
- 23:46Speaker 5: hours from now wondering why the Predators skated of the
- 23:48Speaker 5: Seattle looking like they just robbed the bank.
- 23:52Speaker 3: The other night, after the loss against Ottawa, you heard
- 23:54Speaker 3: Brandon Montor post game saying the other team wanted it more,
- 23:58Speaker 3: they wanted it more than we did, and that as
- 24:00Speaker 3: a former player yourself, you hate hearing that. But to
- 24:03Speaker 3: hear Montors say that, I think that shouldn't That should
- 24:06Speaker 3: fire up that locker room because no one's gonna come
- 24:09Speaker 3: in your house and want.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Your stuff, yep, more than you do.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Lane Lambert's been talking about it, The players have been
- 24:15Speaker 3: talking about it, how they need to compete more, they
- 24:17Speaker 3: need to have a higher level of intensity. There were
- 24:20Speaker 3: some pretty choice words from Lane Lambert yesterday on the
- 24:23Speaker 3: ice during practice about getting the guys going.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I mean, this has to be a from the jump.
- 24:29Speaker 5: Performance for Seaple. Well, it's interesting the phrase wanted more.
- 24:32Speaker 5: The other team wanted it more. Of course, both teams
- 24:35Speaker 5: want to win, but you have to go down a
- 24:37Speaker 5: couple of layers of what that means. It means you
- 24:39Speaker 5: want that puck more. When it's a fifty to fifty battle,
- 24:42Speaker 5: you want to get to the puck first, When your
- 24:44Speaker 5: shoulder to shoulder with somebody fighting to get to the
- 24:46Speaker 5: puck first in the corner, you're willing to do what
- 24:48Speaker 5: it takes to clog passing lanes, to block shots, to
- 24:51Speaker 5: clear pucks, all those details that I talked about in
- 24:54Speaker 5: my Keys. That's the kind of thing you have to
- 24:56Speaker 5: want more than the other team.
- 24:58Speaker 3: We're waiting for the immigration to clear for Bobby McMahon.
- 25:02Speaker 3: James Schwartz got injured against the Ottawas editors, he is
- 25:05Speaker 3: out indefinitely. We're not sure what that timeline of indefinitely is,
- 25:10Speaker 3: but there's twenty games including tonight left in the regular season,
- 25:15Speaker 3: one of the krack and going to miss here tonight
- 25:17Speaker 3: without Schwartz in the lineup, and you're hoping that McMahon
- 25:20Speaker 3: can make his cracking debut on Thursday.
- 25:22Speaker 5: But one of the big things we've been talking about
- 25:23Speaker 5: with McMahon's is gonna add an element of speed to
- 25:25Speaker 5: this team. You're right off the bat, he's fourth in
- 25:28Speaker 5: the league in speed, you know, after the McDavid to
- 25:30Speaker 5: the coolies and stuff. So an element of speed. With
- 25:33Speaker 5: nineteen goals in the season, automatically your second leading goal
- 25:36Speaker 5: scorer on this team overall points sixty points, he's tied
- 25:40Speaker 5: with Tolvenen in sixth place. So there's gonna be an
- 25:44Speaker 5: offensive element that he adds when he gets here. With
- 25:46Speaker 5: Schwartz on the lineup, it's like two times the guy's
- 25:49Speaker 5: being out because he's a very similar hockey player, like
- 25:52Speaker 5: like Schwartz. So you've got to make up for that
- 25:54Speaker 5: by getting your young guys going, having them contributing. The
- 25:58Speaker 5: blue line has to contribute tonight, and I'm you sit
- 26:00Speaker 5: back between the pipes, Joey. The court's gotta have himself
- 26:02Speaker 5: a game crack and looking to get an impact piece
- 26:05Speaker 5: into their lineup when McMahon comes into the lineup, and.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Hey, you know who our big impact piece is. Mike Betton.

- 28:57Speaker 17: combination of so many different things that I could I
- 29:00Speaker 17: could be sitting here talking about it for an hour.
- 29:04Speaker 17: Was it just wasn't a good hockey game for a team.
- 29:07Speaker 17: And you know, sometimes you say, okay, let's wipe that
- 29:10Speaker 17: game away and move on to the next one, and.
- 29:12Speaker 4: You have to do that.
- 29:13Speaker 17: But certainly we went over some things in that game.
- 29:16Speaker 17: Because for me, this has probably happened, you know, twice
- 29:20Speaker 17: in the last six games since we've come out of
- 29:22Speaker 17: the break where we're just really not very good and
- 29:26Speaker 17: you know it's crunch time. We need to be better,
- 29:29Speaker 17: you know, so they just you know, they exposed us.
- 29:34Speaker 17: They exposed us, you know, defensively, you know, they made
- 29:39Speaker 17: plays through us. We weren't physical enough. But the bottom
- 29:44Speaker 17: line is is that you know, we can live with
- 29:47Speaker 17: not winning a hockey game as long as we compete
- 29:50Speaker 17: with emotion. And I just didn't see.
