- 0:55Speaker 2: and I don't know is this like, can we say
- 0:58Speaker 2: this is football Friday?
- 1:01Speaker 3: It is? There was a game last night, freaky Friday.
- 1:04Speaker 2: What is this today? It was a game last night,
- 1:06Speaker 2: an incredible game. Yeah, welcome in. Good morning everybody. I
- 1:11Speaker 2: think a lot of us, a lot of our kiddo's
- 1:13Speaker 2: going to the second day of school. I hope your
- 1:16Speaker 2: hope your kids. If you haven't had a great day yesterday.
- 1:19Speaker 2: My kids were worn out last yesterday.
- 1:22Speaker 4: When I got it was their first day of school.
- 1:24Speaker 3: It was their first day of school, you know.
- 1:27Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:27Speaker 3: It was Henny's first day at big school.
- 1:29Speaker 2: She was in kindergarten, so she was nervous before she
- 1:32Speaker 2: was very nervous before.
- 1:33Speaker 4: How did she she was?
- 1:35Speaker 2: You know, she's one of these girls that I feel
- 1:39Speaker 2: like it is pretty fierce and take anything. If like
- 1:43Speaker 2: I dropped her in the middle of the woods, she'd
- 1:44Speaker 2: figure out a way to survive and get back, like
- 1:47Speaker 2: one of those types.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Ever since she was like a baby, she was a
- 1:50Speaker 3: little she was a.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Little little stressed, really strusted. Oh yeah, it was a
- 1:55Speaker 2: little bit different. Yeah. I think she had it in
- 1:57Speaker 2: her head that she could just at any point because
- 2:00Speaker 2: their older brother and sister are in the same school.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yea, so she could just like be like, hey, can
- 2:05Speaker 3: I go see them?
- 2:06Speaker 2: Oh, she could do that. I mean they're you know,
- 2:09Speaker 2: they're learning. Yeah, so she couldn't just like walk up
- 2:12Speaker 2: and kind of do what she wanted, which is okay,
- 2:14Speaker 2: I understand that new expect you know, expectations didn't meet reality,
- 2:19Speaker 2: and it's okay, we're good. It's gonna be it's gonna
- 2:23Speaker 2: be a great second day. It's gonna be a great
- 2:25Speaker 2: second day. So it's yeah, I think there's other I
- 2:30Speaker 2: think schools I didn't start this week are pretty sure
- 2:33Speaker 2: they're starting on Monday, So I don't know, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 2: whatever happened to the days is starting after Labor Day.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Well, but also I feel like school never started on
- 2:41Speaker 4: a Thursday for me.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it is strange, but it's okay, Like it's I
- 2:47Speaker 2: kind of get it a little bit, you know, usually yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 2: it's like Monday or Tuesday, because I think it's a
- 2:52Speaker 2: little bit more like like get acclimated to the new schedule.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Like Huck is going into fifth grade, so that's middle school,
- 3:02Speaker 2: and this is where they like switch classes a lot.
- 3:04Speaker 2: They have different periods throughout the day, and all the
- 3:06Speaker 2: fifth graders like go down super nervous because they're afraid
- 3:10Speaker 2: to go to the wrong place. They're afraid. Like it's
- 3:11Speaker 2: a completely different situation. I don't think they have lockers,
- 3:18Speaker 2: but you know what do I yeah, for us with
- 3:22Speaker 2: six stage, yeah, I think that's how most people are.
- 3:24Speaker 2: But it does, I guess makes sense because when when
- 3:30Speaker 2: I grew up, it was elementary was five years, middle
- 3:33Speaker 2: was three, and high school was four. So I guess
- 3:34Speaker 2: it makes sense to do four to four and four.
- 3:36Speaker 2: That makes sense to me. Sure, So whatever. I actually
- 3:39Speaker 2: I don't know if there's lockers. That's a good question.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I don't think there is because I've only done like
- 3:45Speaker 2: the lower school. I've only been in like the lower
- 3:47Speaker 2: school building, and so their first middle school. I mean,
- 3:51Speaker 2: I'm assuming I have, but I see a lot of
- 3:53Speaker 2: backpacks hanging up on hooks.
- 3:54Speaker 4: I remember when I was growing up watching TV, you
- 3:58Speaker 4: thought lockers were like the thing. Everybody decorated their locker,
- 4:04Speaker 4: they were there between classes, blah blah blah. But we
- 4:06Speaker 4: were only allowed to go to the lockers before school
- 4:10Speaker 4: started to drop everything off and then after school to
- 4:13Speaker 4: grab everything. We weren't allowed to go like between periods
- 4:16Speaker 4: to grab stuff the lockers.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Interesting, So I just.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Thought it was like I got to middle school and
- 4:21Speaker 4: I was very disappointed in that because I thought that
- 4:25Speaker 4: was a part of the thing, and nobody used them
- 4:28Speaker 4: in high school.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess that's my question. Did they assign y'all lockers?
- 4:32Speaker 3: Because in middle school.
- 4:33Speaker 4: We did, but in high school we.
- 4:35Speaker 6: Had the request them. They didn't even sign it. So
- 4:37Speaker 6: like I never had one, just.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Like TV lied to me, is what I'm trying.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Zach Morris had a locker. Obviously it's just a little bit.
- 4:45Speaker 2: This is yelling a little bit, but I mean the
- 4:49Speaker 2: locker is a big deal. Yeah, TV kind of wized
- 4:51Speaker 2: you a little bit commercials with lockers.
- 4:53Speaker 4: I had big expectations for lockers.
- 4:56Speaker 6: The only people that used them was like the band members.
- 4:58Speaker 6: If they had to carry the instruments with them, they
- 4:59Speaker 6: would just rent the locker leave it in there.
- 5:01Speaker 3: But like I never had one.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I am. I for sure remember middle school, so going
- 5:08Speaker 2: into sixth grade getting lockers, because it was a huge deal.
- 5:11Speaker 2: The first day of school, they're teaching you how to
- 5:14Speaker 2: like use the lock combination you have, like your locker,
- 5:18Speaker 2: like like the combination. They give you the slip for
- 5:21Speaker 2: it and you put it in your behinder. Like that
- 5:24Speaker 2: was a big deal. That was awesome. Now I'm trying
- 5:26Speaker 2: to remember, I don't I don't think we had them
- 5:28Speaker 2: in high school.
- 5:29Speaker 4: No, we didn't have them in high school. Only in
- 5:31Speaker 4: the locker room.
- 5:33Speaker 6: We had sports like physically had them in the hallways.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yeah, nobody use them.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying to think, man, lockers were awesome. I
- 5:41Speaker 2: can understand why.
- 5:42Speaker 4: They wouldn't have I mean, no, I get it.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Schools are doing like all everything that possible and yeah,
- 5:49Speaker 2: like and yeah, rightfully, so that's but.
- 5:53Speaker 6: The herd point about like locker rooms like our high school,
- 5:55Speaker 6: like even like you had a band room, you had
- 5:57Speaker 6: a football locker room baseball, so like if you had
- 5:58Speaker 6: to carry your stuff, you just went dropped it off
- 6:00Speaker 6: in your sports locker room.
- 6:01Speaker 3: So there was really no need to have one, like
- 6:04Speaker 3: in the hallways.
- 6:06Speaker 2: H were you gonna put your big, huge cell phone though,
- 6:14Speaker 2: like Zach Morris had.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Oh no, I was fit in our pocket.
- 6:17Speaker 4: I didn't have one until my sophomore year of high school.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Okay, I mean that sounds about right. I think that's
- 6:22Speaker 2: the way it should be when you start driving.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Yet all of my friends had phones since maybe middle school.
- 6:29Speaker 4: I was a loser and my brother had one. But
- 6:32Speaker 4: I was the loser that did not have a phone.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I got my first one sixth grade.
- 6:36Speaker 2: See I am you got your first one to six.
- 6:38Speaker 6: School because my mom was like, hey, you're starting after
- 6:41Speaker 6: school football practice, like at the school.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Like she we all the first people to ever played football.
- 6:47Speaker 2: What do you mean you got dropped off of practice? Yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 2: you were the first people. But they didn't practice before
- 6:54Speaker 2: cell phones.
- 6:55Speaker 6: No, they probably did, man, because just my mom was like, hey,
- 6:57Speaker 6: if something gets canceled because like a practice of school,
- 7:00Speaker 6: should they just call me?
- 7:01Speaker 3: All I really used it for Yeah, you didn't play
- 7:05Speaker 3: like snake or anything.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we have games on the phone. Now, Okay, well,
- 7:11Speaker 2: I mean you're not crazy, You're right. This is this
- 7:16Speaker 2: is a this is going to be a crossroads for
- 7:22Speaker 2: Lacy and Ey's relationship with our children, our relationship with
- 7:27Speaker 2: other parents at the school. It's going to be it's
- 7:30Speaker 2: going rubber is going to meet the road at some
- 7:31Speaker 2: point when it comes to these cell phones. And I
- 7:33Speaker 2: think it's something that every parent has to deal with,
- 7:36Speaker 2: and because we are, we have this mindset of it
- 7:40Speaker 2: ain't happening until you have to have one, right, because
- 7:44Speaker 2: there is more way more bad that comes with a
- 7:47Speaker 2: cell phone than good, especially for kids.
- 7:50Speaker 4: For kids, even if.
- 7:51Speaker 2: You put parental controls, whatever, kids are gonna find a way.
- 7:55Speaker 2: They're going to find a way to put garbage into
- 7:58Speaker 2: their brain always, and garbage in, garbage out, always evil
- 8:02Speaker 2: and evil out. So you want to keep the I mean,
- 8:05Speaker 2: I feel like you want to keep them sheltered from
- 8:07Speaker 2: that as long as possible, because they're gonna have plenty
- 8:09Speaker 2: of life to get all that. At least, like give
- 8:12Speaker 2: them some time for their little minds to grow and
- 8:14Speaker 2: little minds to be kids. And the faster they have
- 8:16Speaker 2: access to that phone faster, they're going to grow up. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 2: so it's gonna be a problem because not everybody sees
- 8:24Speaker 2: it our wright, but I don't think they should have
- 8:28Speaker 2: it until they need it. And getting dropped off at
- 8:31Speaker 2: practice to me, and like everybody says the same thing.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I wasn't the only one everybody, and I understand that
- 8:40Speaker 2: mindset too, But you know I got dropped off of practice.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Me too.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Can I find a landline if I need it?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Maybe? I don't know.
- 8:55Speaker 3: That's just me.
- 8:55Speaker 4: So we'll see see what happens.
- 8:58Speaker 2: It's one of those things that like also that before
- 9:00Speaker 2: the kids were like, man, our kids aren't gonna have
- 9:02Speaker 2: screen time either.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Yeah, they'd be having they'd.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Be having that screen time, may be having screened they
- 9:08Speaker 2: haven't screened down. But this is uh, you know, we'll
- 9:10Speaker 2: see what happens. We'll see what appens. You gotta get
- 9:13Speaker 2: takes a village. It's a cheesy comment, but you gotta
- 9:16Speaker 2: have everybody on board. You can't have like the only
- 9:19Speaker 2: kid out there me can I was It's true how
- 9:23Speaker 2: that go?
- 9:23Speaker 4: Honestly, I didn't really care nice like I wanted a phone,
- 9:28Speaker 4: but it wasn't that big of a deal to me, like.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Even with everybody snap chatting and yeah, instagraming and yeah.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Because I got one sophomore year, so I feel like
- 9:37Speaker 4: that feels kind of reasonable. Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and TikTok.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Yeah, we didn't have to dances. We didn't have TikTok.
- 9:44Speaker 3: You were a year behind me.
- 9:45Speaker 4: We have school.
- 9:46Speaker 6: You graduated fifteen sixteen, Okay, See snapchat didn't really come
- 9:50Speaker 6: out till I was a junior.
- 9:51Speaker 4: I mean, did sophomore year we were snapping?
- 9:54Speaker 6: Well, yeah, and see I graduated in fourteen, so it
- 9:59Speaker 6: was it was probably like my junior year.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Is when it when it kind of came out.
- 10:02Speaker 4: So yeah, I wish I remember that girl's TikTok name
- 10:05Speaker 4: so I could look around.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Oh, I know, she's ridiculous. That's a good point brought
- 10:09Speaker 2: up in the uh in the in the chat here
- 10:12Speaker 2: when we had phones like in our grade, back in
- 10:14Speaker 2: our day type deal, like you had to pay per
- 10:16Speaker 2: individual text.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Yeah you got so many texts whatever.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah, we had minutes to talk, but she only got
- 10:22Speaker 2: like one hundred and fifty text messages per month or whatever.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Your the plan was.
- 10:26Speaker 4: You get to get a card or whatever.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Yeah, my sister h she was a couple years ahead
- 10:31Speaker 3: of me.
- 10:32Speaker 6: So she had her phone first obviously, and like she
- 10:34Speaker 6: reached her limit and there was like ten days left
- 10:37Speaker 6: in the month, and like she had her first like boyfriend.
- 10:39Speaker 6: You know, she's like, how do I get more text?
- 10:42Speaker 6: And so like, look, we'll get the we'll get the
- 10:45Speaker 6: unlimited talking text. And then we were big shot at
- 10:47Speaker 6: that point when that came out. Oh, it was a
- 10:49Speaker 6: big deal. Wouldn't tell us nothing to tell us nothing,
- 10:52Speaker 6: old Razor.
- 10:53Speaker 2: So we all you have had to have some sort
- 10:55Speaker 2: of conversation you Victoria about like screen times about like
- 10:58Speaker 2: in the future, no self and still, huh where you
- 11:02Speaker 2: got him on?
- 11:03Speaker 3: He's already got one text.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Here's what Here's what Griffin Raiser does all day long
- 11:11Speaker 6: at home. Okay, he sleeps, he wakes up, he cries,
- 11:14Speaker 6: he eats, he poops, and then he repeats that process.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what that's what he does. That's called being
- 11:20Speaker 2: a baby.
- 11:20Speaker 6: Like I'm surprised he's not talking yet. I don't know
- 11:23Speaker 6: if that's a thing. I mean, he's he's ever two
- 11:25Speaker 6: weeks old. I feel like we're close to that. Is
- 11:29Speaker 6: he gonna inherit your ability to talk? You think Victoria
- 11:36Speaker 6: wants my ability to talk her ability to do well
- 11:39Speaker 6: in school.
- 11:40Speaker 3: And I was like, you know, I'm good with that.
- 11:43Speaker 2: She was really good in school, So you weren't good
- 11:44Speaker 2: in school.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I wasn't bad.
- 11:47Speaker 6: She was just really I was an average average student.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Well that's that's the goal. You want the you want
- 11:52Speaker 2: your kid to get the best of both. Yeah, so
- 11:54Speaker 2: I mean, sure, all right, what do you think, Lady Kane?
- 12:01Speaker 2: Lady Kan's sitting in for She's filling in for Jacob Pester.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Where's Jacob today? Is in Pittsburgh. He's in Pittsburgh. He
- 12:08Speaker 2: gets to talk to Anne Rodgers today. Lucky, I wonder
- 12:12Speaker 2: how Cleveland. I mean, it couldn't have been that great, Yeah, Lucky.
- 12:18Speaker 6: I guess is that if Jake stops Cleveland probably ranks
- 12:21Speaker 6: lower to the bottom.
- 12:22Speaker 2: He didn't seem all that excited yesterday. Like when he
- 12:25Speaker 2: was in he was.
- 12:27Speaker 4: On for two segments. I should tell you everything.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 12:30Speaker 6: When he was in Detroit, Zero's he was like he
- 12:34Speaker 6: came on for like ten minutes. Cleveland, He's like, I
- 12:36Speaker 6: could do the whole show. He had a little glisten
- 12:38Speaker 6: in his eye when he was in Buffalo too. Yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 6: yesterday he looked a little dead inside. Yes, that's what
- 12:44Speaker 6: That's what Cleveland does to you. Even if you get
- 12:46Speaker 6: to like catch up with an old coach that you
- 12:49Speaker 6: had back at LSU, Todd Munkin, who's the first time
- 12:51Speaker 6: head coach in the NFL.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Great opportunity.
- 12:53Speaker 4: I mean they don't even have Miles Garrett anymore.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they don't, but they got Shador.
- 13:00Speaker 4: True, I forget, stop forgetting.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Stop sleeping what a hater? You know? I mean.
- 13:08Speaker 6: With the watch, because you would wear a fancy watch.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Did you see on the sidelines of the game.
- 13:14Speaker 2: That's totally did you see You'll see his daddy was
- 13:16Speaker 2: on the field with him.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Was apparently he was giving Todd Monkett advice on not
- 13:23Speaker 6: to coach him. And my thought was, you were four
- 13:27Speaker 6: and eight Shoudors last year. I mean, don't maybe you
- 13:30Speaker 6: don't know how to.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe you don't know how to. Well, he did
- 13:34Speaker 2: get his number retired or true, right, it's true. Not
- 13:38Speaker 2: even Jayden can do that. But Shador immediately.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Or was it right after the following whatever?
- 13:49Speaker 2: It was? Uh so dumb.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Weird. I got actually Carolina number just texted the text
- 13:56Speaker 4: line on the show man. I just want to say,
- 14:00Speaker 4: this is the best dang show man. Come on now,
- 14:02Speaker 4: whoo y'all calling it?
- 14:03Speaker 3: Man?
- 14:04Speaker 4: Come on now?
- 14:05Speaker 3: I wonder who's that?
- 14:07Speaker 1: No?
- 14:08Speaker 3: It some random guy? Is it a South Carolina number?
- 14:12Speaker 4: And it says this is locked on.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Bama fan sixty nine six nine.
- 14:23Speaker 3: First was taken. Had to had the end, It's already taken.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Oh lordy.
- 14:29Speaker 3: All right, well we got a big show for you today.
- 14:32Speaker 2: There was potentially what will go down is maybe the
- 14:39Speaker 2: best and most exciting Hall of Fame game of all time.
- 14:44Speaker 2: We're talking backup quarterbacks, y'all. We're talking third drink. We're
- 14:48Speaker 2: talking fourth drink. It doesn't matter. It was the first
- 14:51Speaker 2: game of the season, and usually preseason games big old stinkers.
- 14:56Speaker 3: This one, it was awesome. This one was exciting.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah. I even watched it through like towards the almost
- 15:03Speaker 2: the fourth quarter. At some point I had to turn
- 15:05Speaker 2: it off just because I had life to live. But
- 15:09Speaker 2: my god, I'm kind of upset that I missed the
- 15:11Speaker 2: fourth quarter. But I did see the last drive Cardinals Panthers.
- 15:18Speaker 2: They went down to the finished and so we're going
- 15:20Speaker 2: to get into that. We're gonna we're gonna actually break
- 15:22Speaker 2: down a preseason game that isn't the Saints here off
- 15:25Speaker 2: the bench.
- 15:26Speaker 3: We also got LSU practice.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Reports, we got some Tigers and the pros and baseball
- 15:32Speaker 2: news happening.
- 15:34Speaker 3: We got a lot to get to.
- 15:35Speaker 4: But before we do about Palla.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I do want to tell you about power. Okay,
- 15:45Speaker 2: give me just a second though.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Okay, well, who do you want to tell us about?
- 15:48Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 15:49Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to tell you about our friends over
- 15:53Speaker 2: at Palace. If you run an industrial facility anywhere across
- 15:56Speaker 2: the Gulf South, here's something to help. Keep in mind.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Don't let maintenance or capital dollars go unused just because
- 16:01Speaker 2: you're short on mantar. PALA has experienced maintenance crews and
- 16:04Speaker 2: supplemental staff and available right now to help with planned
- 16:07Speaker 2: elligis capital projects, routine maintenance, and even emergency work. So
- 16:10Speaker 2: whether you need skilled craft labor planners, scheduler, safety professionals,
- 16:14Speaker 2: quality personnel, or project management support, PALA has the people
- 16:18Speaker 2: and the experience to keep your operation running safely and efficiently.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And remember, PALA is much more than just maintenance. They
- 16:25Speaker 2: also provide mechanical construction APS storage tanks, asme pressure vessel fabrication,
- 16:30Speaker 2: and a full range of specialty industrial services from early

- 16:53Speaker 2: here and off the bench.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Off the bench, tigers turn talkers. This is off the bench.
- 17:30Speaker 2: All right, Welcome back in Friday morning, right here, off
- 17:34Speaker 2: the bench, laughing the raising Caines Studio, Glynn Alondra Tata,
- 17:39Speaker 2: Lady Kane holding it down for you. Why Jake is
- 17:42Speaker 2: traveling the countryside? Did he say he was driving again?
- 17:45Speaker 2: He was driving from Cleveland to Pittsburgh. I don't remember driving.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Lot was his first drive. He had to drive to Cleveland.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I don't remember that after. I wonder if he's getting
- 17:55Speaker 2: paid per diem that'll be.
- 17:58Speaker 6: I'm sure Jake would vall entarily if it meant leave
- 18:01Speaker 6: Cleveland sooner, he'd probably drop.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Dude, that dude is on one. Whether it's group text
- 18:09Speaker 2: or tweets, dude won't shut up about a fullback.
- 18:13Speaker 4: Oh Jake, Yeah he won't, and.
- 18:15Speaker 6: Honestly due the running backs getting paid high end money
- 18:19Speaker 6: right now.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Like Jake's little bit of a heater.
- 18:21Speaker 2: He's on a bit of a heater.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Is the Jake?
- 18:24Speaker 2: Is this the year of Jake?
- 18:25Speaker 4: Is?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:28Speaker 3: It is just like the Chinese thing.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you're the dragon, You're the Jake.
- 18:33Speaker 2: This is the year of the Jake. You're the fullback?
- 18:35Speaker 2: Is probably what he You know. I actually so last
- 18:44Speaker 2: night Hall of Fame game, let's talk about it. I
- 18:47Speaker 2: was trying to think, just off the top of my head,
- 18:48Speaker 2: if I remember seeing a lot of fullbacks playing yesterday.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I don't really recall seeing any. That doesn't mean there wasn't.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I just didn't didn't like really stick out in my mind,
- 18:58Speaker 2: Like every time Jake sees one, he's like Leonardo DiCaprio
- 19:01Speaker 2: in the meme. So an absolute electric Hall of Fame
- 19:09Speaker 2: game yesterday, And those two things don't really go together.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Usually this game is very boring. You stay for maybe
- 19:17Speaker 2: watch half of the first quarter. You maybe watch some
- 19:20Speaker 2: guys that are gonna be starters on the roster on
- 19:24Speaker 2: either offense or defense. Maybe a little bit. Maybe you
- 19:27Speaker 2: want to see your favorite player get interviewed, like we
- 19:29Speaker 2: saw Drew Brees get interviewed yesterday. I had a big,
- 19:31Speaker 2: long interview. Grave gave great responses. They talked to him
- 19:35Speaker 2: for like five minutes during the gameplay. But yesterday was
- 19:39Speaker 2: a game where we're all excited. It doesn't matter if
- 19:41Speaker 2: it was football the first one. That's why you get
- 19:43Speaker 2: over hyped. All those funny videos coming out yesterday on
- 19:46Speaker 2: social media about like we got Carson Beg versus Kenny Pickett.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It's like Tom Brady versus Peyton Manning back in the
- 19:53Speaker 2: day in the playoffs. Just that's how we feel going
- 19:56Speaker 2: into this game. Well, this is a game where you
- 19:58Speaker 2: certainly came for Carson Beck, but you stayed for Haines King.
- 20:03Speaker 2: It was an absolute banger of a game.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Uh And it was.
- 20:08Speaker 2: It was a banger of a game because of the
- 20:10Speaker 2: plays made on offense. Right, That's that's what makes an
- 20:13Speaker 2: exciting game. Now, defensive battles there can be exciting, but
- 20:16Speaker 2: you gotta got you gotta be a sick go when
- 20:18Speaker 2: it comes to football to like a defensive type of game.
- 20:21Speaker 2: It was predictable, especially early on. From a gameplay standpoint,
- 20:25Speaker 2: it was we are going to run the most vanilla
- 20:29Speaker 2: basic things ever. We are going to run middle school
- 20:32Speaker 2: type plays on offense and defense. It was not a
- 20:36Speaker 2: lot or if any blitzing that I saw. I don't
- 20:39Speaker 2: even know if I saw one person rush anything more
- 20:43Speaker 2: than a four men rush. I'm sure there was, but uh,
- 20:46Speaker 2: pretty much just four man rushes yesterday. Basically I only
- 20:51Speaker 2: saw quarters, maybe a little bit of quarter quarter has
- 20:55Speaker 2: every now and then when they got into some two
- 20:57Speaker 2: minute situations, maybe some cloud coverage. I saw some three
- 21:01Speaker 2: week I saw some cover three three buzz, some different things,
- 21:06Speaker 2: but real basic, basic stuff. And on offense it was
- 21:09Speaker 2: also predictable. I could pretty much tell you that you're
- 21:11Speaker 2: gonna see a lot of naked bootlegs going into the game, and.
- 21:14Speaker 3: I'll to throw to a lot of the flat routes.
- 21:15Speaker 2: You're gonna see stitch routes, which is basically like sticks
- 21:18Speaker 2: on the inside and hitch routes on the outside. You're
- 21:20Speaker 2: gonna see double slants. You're gonna see some double slanting
- 21:24Speaker 2: goes or some stopping goes on the outside. You're going
- 21:27Speaker 2: to see the most basic of basic offense, and it's
- 21:30Speaker 2: just about you throw your guys out there and you
- 21:32Speaker 2: don't want them to like trick them plays. You want
- 21:34Speaker 2: to see what these guys got one on one. You
- 21:36Speaker 2: want to see these guys with these these guys have
- 21:38Speaker 2: just from a technique standpoint, and early on it looked
- 21:43Speaker 2: like kind of the defense was winning, like the first
- 21:46Speaker 2: couple of drives. But my guy, Carson Beck, man, he's
- 21:49Speaker 2: a lot of the reports were coming out throughout practice,
- 21:52Speaker 2: a lot of videos from Cardinals practice about how Carson
- 21:56Speaker 2: beck was playing really well, and it certainly showed yesterday.
- 21:58Speaker 2: He looks like the real and not Fluke either. You
- 22:03Speaker 2: go out and you play as a as a rookie,
- 22:05Speaker 2: and you play really well starting in the first quarter.
- 22:09Speaker 2: He ends his game in the second quarter going fifteen
- 22:12Speaker 2: of nineteen, one hundred and eighty eight yards in one touchdown,
- 22:15Speaker 2: and I believe he had back to back touchdown drives
- 22:17Speaker 2: that he led his team to. Did everything right, very
- 22:21Speaker 2: accurate with the ball, making quick decisions, moved in the
- 22:23Speaker 2: pocket well even I think scrambled for a first down
- 22:26Speaker 2: at one point. And this is not a guy that
- 22:31Speaker 2: halfway through last season, watching him, I would have predicted
- 22:35Speaker 2: to translate to the NFL. But after I watched him
- 22:38Speaker 2: last year in the playoffs, it looked by his game
- 22:41Speaker 2: stepped up. I know he's played in a lot of
- 22:42Speaker 2: big games, from when he was at Georgia and then
- 22:44Speaker 2: going to Miami.
- 22:45Speaker 3: I know he's been in the spotlight a lot.
- 22:47Speaker 2: He's felt the pressure of big ten games, he's felt
- 22:49Speaker 2: the noise, so I know that's not all that is
- 22:53Speaker 2: not new to him, But he's just never a guy.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I was like, man, that guy's a really solid player.
- 22:58Speaker 2: That's going to translate to the NFL. Until us on
- 23:00Speaker 2: play in the playoffs last year, made every throw was competitive,
- 23:05Speaker 2: had kind of the it factor when it came to
- 23:07Speaker 2: third and long, like third down situations and decision making
- 23:10Speaker 2: and tucking the ball and giving up his body for
- 23:13Speaker 2: the team and just doing what it takes to move
- 23:15Speaker 2: the chains. And that's what the goal of a quarterback is.
- 23:18Speaker 2: It's not about, you know, making explosive plays. It it's
- 23:21Speaker 2: not about having the most touchdown passes in the league whatever.
- 23:26Speaker 2: At the end of the day, it's about moving the
- 23:27Speaker 2: chains and doing what it takes to keep the chains moving,
- 23:30Speaker 2: keep the punter and the kicker off the field, whether
- 23:34Speaker 2: that is checking into the right running play, checking it down,
- 23:37Speaker 2: taking the big shot, taking what the defense gives you,
- 23:39Speaker 2: and just being accurate or tucking a runner when you
- 23:41Speaker 2: have to. And that's what he's kind of shown. So
- 23:43Speaker 2: I thought he did a very nice job yesterday. Look
- 23:46Speaker 2: the part. And in a team that's not going to
- 23:48Speaker 2: be very good, and a team that's got a veteran
- 23:52Speaker 2: quarterback that has been a very stable, safe, good quarterback
- 23:58Speaker 2: to have on a roster for a long time in
- 24:00Speaker 2: Jacobe Brissett, who did a little bit of a had
- 24:03Speaker 2: a holdout this year, but he's got his contract. I
- 24:05Speaker 2: think it's a one year contract, right, Taylor. Yeah, that's funny.
- 24:08Speaker 2: A team that's not gonna be very good, we don't think,
- 24:12Speaker 2: at least because they are in such a good division.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I think we're gonna see this guy. I think we're
- 24:17Speaker 2: gonna see Carson back this year. I don't know when,
- 24:20Speaker 2: I don't know for what circumstance, but he is playing
- 24:24Speaker 2: himself into certainly a backup, backup role in the third
- 24:28Speaker 2: quarterback guard Benshew on the team probably not watching this
- 24:32Speaker 2: game with a lot of excitement. I would think, But
- 24:36Speaker 2: Carson Beck, you're playing well, man, so keep it up.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Stay away from those Cavendar twins. You're gonna be all right.
- 24:41Speaker 2: No more lambos.
- 24:43Speaker 6: Dude, he was all His deep ball was impressive last night. Yeah,
- 24:46Speaker 6: I mean he hit multiple I mean these are like
- 24:48Speaker 6: forty yard passes downfield.
- 24:49Speaker 3: And yeah they were wide open pretty much except for one.
- 24:52Speaker 3: They were. But he didn't.
- 24:53Speaker 6: He didn't do that a ton in college. I mean,
- 24:55Speaker 6: remember that was that was the thing. They're like, oh,
- 24:56Speaker 6: Carson Beck, you know, can he extend the field?
- 24:59Speaker 3: He did? You know.
- 25:00Speaker 6: You and I talked about this a little bit, like
- 25:03Speaker 6: Presett kind of had some balls on him holding out.
- 25:05Speaker 6: I thought, because like you just mentioned, they're not gonna
- 25:08Speaker 6: be very good. I probably would have just rolled with
- 25:11Speaker 6: Beck and Minshew. Like Minshew's played a lot of games
- 25:14Speaker 6: in the NFL, he started a lot of games. I'd
- 25:16Speaker 6: have rolled with him. At Carson Beck, you're not gonna
- 25:18Speaker 6: be very good. Anyways, I was. I was a little
- 25:20Speaker 6: surprised they did give Jacoby Brisset that deal. Yeah, you're
- 25:23Speaker 6: going to see Carson Beck at some point, Like I
- 25:25Speaker 6: think you're gonna see him sooner rather than later. I mean,
- 25:27Speaker 6: if you're the Cardinals, you go in there, you lose
- 25:29Speaker 6: the first four games of the year, you know you're
- 25:32Speaker 6: in a tough division.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Why not. I mean, he looked really good last night.
- 25:35Speaker 6: I get into its preseason, but that wouldn't have won
- 25:38Speaker 6: off so far in the preseason. Like he's looked like
- 25:40Speaker 6: that in training camp. Yeah, the sixty fifth overall pick.
- 25:47Speaker 6: He goes to Arizona.
- 25:48Speaker 2: So, like to your point, if there are struggles, which
- 25:51Speaker 2: there is going to be struggles for the Cardinals, right,
- 25:53Speaker 2: they have a long they have a really tough schedule,
- 25:55Speaker 2: they're in a really tough division. They got a lot
- 25:57Speaker 2: of tone, they got a new young coach, you got
- 26:02Speaker 2: a third round quarterback. I think to your point, I
- 26:05Speaker 2: think if a do struggle, which we believe they will,
- 26:07Speaker 2: you will see him sooner rather than later because you
- 26:11Speaker 2: got you got a top draft pick running back. Now
- 26:15Speaker 2: you have a supposed to be really young first round
- 26:19Speaker 2: receiver from last year that's supposed to be really good.
- 26:22Speaker 2: That remains to be seen. He has not proven that yet.
- 26:25Speaker 2: But you got Michael Wilson, who is who I believe
- 26:28Speaker 2: is number one receiver there in Arizona. So there is
- 26:30Speaker 2: talent there. Do you put that, do you put Carson
- 26:34Speaker 2: back in sooner rather than later to just kind of
- 26:36Speaker 2: again another one of those terms, see what you got,
- 26:39Speaker 2: build around him and try to hit a home run
- 26:42Speaker 2: like a lot of these teams do, which is build
- 26:44Speaker 2: around a team that has a quarterback on a rookie contract.
- 26:47Speaker 3: So we'll see looks the part.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I don't know what's gonna happen, but I can tell
- 26:52Speaker 2: you just from one game.
- 26:53Speaker 3: It's overreaction.
- 26:54Speaker 2: One game. I got it. It's against base base defenses,
- 26:57Speaker 2: base offenses. Yeah, some guys got wide open that probably
- 27:00Speaker 2: normally would not. But uh answered all the questions yesterday,
- 27:04Speaker 2: so we'll see how that progression goes. Another guy that
- 27:08Speaker 2: answered the questions, mister Haines King. We love Haines King
- 27:12Speaker 2: around here because he's like a fullback that plays quarterback.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Raning ACC Player of the Year, undrafted for the Panthers.
- 27:20Speaker 2: My god, the guy is a competitor. That's all you
- 27:24Speaker 2: could like. If you had to explain him in one word,
- 27:27Speaker 2: you would just say competitor. The Panthers win the game
- 27:30Speaker 2: on a last minute touchdown scramble run up the middle
- 27:33Speaker 2: in the red zone by Haines King that was set
- 27:36Speaker 2: up by a long run, a twenty twenty five yard
- 27:39Speaker 2: run to get into the red zone. Before that, Haines
- 27:43Speaker 2: King twenty one to thirty four, one hundred and eighty yards,
- 27:46Speaker 2: two touchdown passes, thirty nine yards rushing, one touchdown run
- 27:51Speaker 2: with the game, including the game winning touchdown run right there.
- 27:55Speaker 2: And my god, was there a celebration in Campton last night.
- 27:58Speaker 2: The Panthers absolutely going nuts after the game. Chris collins
- 28:05Speaker 2: Worth on the call, I was like, huh, look at him.
- 28:08Speaker 3: It was just kind of like, look at it.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Look at these guys celebrate, and you're just kind of
- 28:11Speaker 2: laughing at him because it is preseason.
- 28:13Speaker 3: It doesn't matter.
- 28:14Speaker 2: But tell these guys that it doesn't matter right here,
- 28:16Speaker 2: Tell Haines King that it doesn't matter. Tell the people
- 28:18Speaker 2: making the decision on who's going to be the backup
- 28:20Speaker 2: Haines King or Kenny Pickett this year.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Haines looked a lot better yesterday. And I get it.
- 28:26Speaker 6: It was second half, so he's playing against he's playing
- 28:29Speaker 6: against the third teamers, But I mean, can he Picket
- 28:31Speaker 6: wouldn't playing against a ton of starters either.
- 28:33Speaker 2: It is different obviously from the first and second quarter.
- 28:37Speaker 2: That's why what Carson Beck did was very impressive. It
- 28:39Speaker 2: is very different. Even in the Hall of Fame game,
- 28:42Speaker 2: it is very different in the first quarter than it
- 28:44Speaker 2: is the fourth. It is pretty easy in the fourth quarter.
- 28:46Speaker 2: But also you have uber drivers running routes. They have
- 28:50Speaker 2: uber drivers covering routes. Right.
- 28:51Speaker 3: It's but when you got a.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Quarterback like that that is a runner and like this
- 28:57Speaker 2: is this is the play to make right here, you
- 29:01Speaker 2: run the ball. It was fun to watch what you
- 29:05Speaker 2: say what you will about Haines King. He's exciting, he's tough,
- 29:08Speaker 2: he's great. He actually ran over a corner on the
- 29:10Speaker 2: play before that, and I think that I would love
- 29:14Speaker 2: to see him stick around. He's one of these guys
- 29:16Speaker 2: that can have a long career because he's a football
- 29:18Speaker 2: first guy. He's a meathead. And if he can throw
- 29:22Speaker 2: the ball like he did yesterday, which that's always been
- 29:24Speaker 2: the question, not like if he can throw, but if
- 29:27Speaker 2: he can operate in an offense that is more professional
- 29:31Speaker 2: style offense, going through your reads, hitting the check down,
- 29:34Speaker 2: be a pocket type passer consistently when the other team
- 29:38Speaker 2: knows that you're going to be in the pocket. That's
- 29:40Speaker 2: the question that Hayes King has and Obviously, that's a
- 29:43Speaker 2: question a lot of teams had because he did go undrafted.
- 29:45Speaker 2: He had to pick the Panthers to go sign an
- 29:47Speaker 2: undrafted free agency deal with. So look, it's the first
- 29:52Speaker 2: preseason game, it's preseason whatever, But my god, we have football,
- 29:56Speaker 2: we have football to watch and talk about, and it
- 29:58Speaker 2: was exciting. So I'm I'm going to get excited about it,
- 30:01Speaker 2: especially when you get good quarterback play. So kudos to
- 30:04Speaker 2: everybody that lined up yesterday, Kudos to the to the gameplay,
- 30:07Speaker 2: Kudos to them crushing the over of thirty five and
- 30:11Speaker 2: a half. I hope you listened to my subtleties yesterday
- 30:14Speaker 2: because I was basically telling you to take the over.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I hope you did. But also with the betting, you
- 30:18Speaker 2: don't want to start out hot. You want to start
- 30:20Speaker 2: out humbled. You want to start out humbled. It's just
- 30:23Speaker 2: preseason you're getting You're getting your betting legs under you.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Also, should we pour one out for Panthers fans because
- 30:27Speaker 6: according to your research, they're not going to win a playoff.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Game this year. True, they could go to one, though
- 30:31Speaker 3: I was hoping for a tie.
- 30:33Speaker 6: Just to throw a wrench into what you said yesterday,
- 30:35Speaker 6: about like the winning team.
- 30:36Speaker 3: What are the rules now?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Is it?
- 30:38Speaker 3: I appreciate over time? I don't think so.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Okay, used to you said in a tie like so,
- 30:44Speaker 2: you never went for the tie, You always went for
- 30:45Speaker 2: the win.
- 30:46Speaker 3: I think that's still the rule. Let me check.
- 30:48Speaker 2: All right, Well, look, it was fun, it was exciting.
- 30:51Speaker 2: I hope you'll watch it. If you didn't go watch
- 30:52Speaker 2: the clips it was. It's at least something to talk
- 30:54Speaker 2: about and talk about with your coworkers. All right, there
- 30:59Speaker 2: it is. There's the recap of the Hall of Fame game.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Huh No, no overtime in preseason? All right, that makes sense.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Well that's the worst overtime in preseason. So that's a
- 31:08Speaker 2: good rule change. All right, stick with us. We're gonna
- 31:10Speaker 2: come back and talk a little bit of Well, give
- 31:14Speaker 2: you whatever we can from LSU practice report right here

- 33:06Speaker 4: I changed it up because I felt like Fleetwood Mac
- 33:09Speaker 4: wasn't Friday enough, and I was like, no, I want
- 33:12Speaker 4: to I want a good Friday vibe today because I'm
- 33:16Speaker 4: leaving town after this, so I'm just I wanted to
- 33:21Speaker 4: do something more.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Was great first segment.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Still people have still sleep in their eyes a little
- 33:27Speaker 2: bit wake yup.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Now.
- 33:30Speaker 2: This one's a little bit more of a I'm ready
- 33:32Speaker 2: to go by, get by the pool. I'm ready to
- 33:38Speaker 2: get a bottle service.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Maybe with a bottle service.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Maybe come out out of nowhere with a saxophone.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yes, I like that video. I had, like fomo,
- 33:52Speaker 4: I didn't know I could get it was it was.
- 33:55Speaker 2: It was very fun. It was very fun. It's just
- 33:58Speaker 2: how many times in a couple day span can you?
- 34:01Speaker 2: Can you hear you have that much fun? At what
- 34:05Speaker 2: point does fun not become fun anymore? That's true, the
- 34:11Speaker 2: same night, the same type of fun. Was it the
- 34:14Speaker 2: sacks every night or did they switch it out? No,
- 34:16Speaker 2: we only got the sacks twice. But again, it was
- 34:18Speaker 2: a part of the day and the night. Okay, now
- 34:21Speaker 2: lesson we're talking about our recent trip to the same parts,
- 34:24Speaker 2: very large group of people and it was awesome. Does
- 34:30Speaker 2: bring up a good question though, how many how many
- 34:32Speaker 2: times can you have the same fun?
- 34:34Speaker 4: And I don't think like three days becomes not fun.
- 34:38Speaker 6: For our honeymoon, we went to a Ruba great spot,
- 34:41Speaker 6: small island, real small.
- 34:44Speaker 3: After we were there six days.
- 34:48Speaker 6: That was pushing it for me, like I want to
- 34:50Speaker 6: go back, but I was that that was about it.
- 34:53Speaker 2: It usually so Lacey and I usually have if we
- 34:56Speaker 2: go on a trip, it's like a we kind of
- 34:59Speaker 2: have like this three night expiration day.
- 35:01Speaker 4: Yeah, and we're like, we're so ready to.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Get back now. I'm not gonna say it was like
- 35:05Speaker 2: that on that trip, but it was like you're sitting
- 35:08Speaker 2: there and this is like day three or four of
- 35:12Speaker 2: the trip, and this was like after the afternoon party
- 35:16Speaker 2: and we're sitting there the downtime before you go eat
- 35:20Speaker 2: your eat dinner at nine nine thirty pm, before the
- 35:24Speaker 2: night party. You're like, we gotta go do this again.
- 35:29Speaker 2: We got to rally somehow, like we got to really focus.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I really wish we need to wish I could just
- 35:35Speaker 2: sit here in bed and watch some.
- 35:37Speaker 3: You know Miami, he did.
- 35:39Speaker 4: I have no shame and I won't rally like I'll
- 35:41Speaker 4: be like, yeah, I'm gonna sit out. I'm gonna sit
- 35:43Speaker 4: it out tonight.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Gonna sit this one out.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I will do that.
- 35:47Speaker 3: I'll be better tomorrow for you.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Yes, I'm like, if I sit out tonight, I will
- 35:52Speaker 4: be so much more fun tomorrow.
- 35:55Speaker 3: I don't know what would Haines King think of that?
- 35:57Speaker 4: You're right, I don't want to disappoint Haines.
- 35:59Speaker 2: What Haines?
- 36:00Speaker 4: What would Haines do? Hanes power through it? But like
- 36:04Speaker 4: I power through it. I have boundaries, that's true.
- 36:08Speaker 2: And look that's what Irish Advisor for right, And we
- 36:11Speaker 2: did do a couple of those, but we showed up. Yeah,
- 36:14Speaker 2: half the battles just showing.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Up, Like I'll go to dinner with y'all, but I'm
- 36:17Speaker 4: not going to keep partying. I'm sorry, going to sleep.
- 36:19Speaker 2: It's all right, Hey, Lacy, just you're gonna have to
- 36:22Speaker 2: just slap me as hard as you can right in
- 36:24Speaker 2: the face. You got to wake me up. Uh. You
- 36:30Speaker 2: know a lot of.
- 36:30Speaker 5: Pds, Yeah, a lot of pds for sure. Speaking of pds.
- 36:39Speaker 5: Something happened, did Okay, so did the Saints receiver. Yeah,
- 36:47Speaker 5: he got suspended for six games.
- 36:49Speaker 2: What's his name, rock Reck Steiner, brock Reck Signer, son
- 36:52Speaker 2: of wrestling legend.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I don't even know the wrestling legends name. He just
- 36:56Speaker 3: goes about I'm his first name, but he goes by
- 36:58Speaker 3: Steiner instead of.
- 37:00Speaker 2: He got suspended for six games And they didn't really
- 37:03Speaker 2: say but on the Saints website there is a blurb
- 37:07Speaker 2: that says it was for failing to a bust of
- 37:10Speaker 2: performance enhancing. Now I get the correlation there. There's a
- 37:16Speaker 2: stigmatism a little bit like uh that comes with this. Yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 2: I know. But a PD can be a lot of
- 37:26Speaker 2: different things, Like if there was a lot of people
- 37:28Speaker 2: in my when I was playing that got busted, and
- 37:31Speaker 2: like when they when the NFL busts you for a PD,
- 37:34Speaker 2: they don't tell you what it was, right, and so
- 37:36Speaker 2: like you could get busted for things like uh, someone
- 37:39Speaker 2: took an adderall and they shouldn't have. That would be
- 37:41Speaker 2: a PD. So like the player would have to be like, hey,
- 37:44Speaker 2: look it was an adderall. Like I'm not taking steroids
- 37:46Speaker 2: right here, I'm not taking illegal like muscle building growth
- 37:50Speaker 2: hormone or whatever it is you could get. You could
- 37:53Speaker 2: get busted for stuff like rogain and here and here
- 37:57Speaker 2: crazy because there's a substance in or this is at
- 38:00Speaker 2: least used to. Again, I haven't checked in on the
- 38:03Speaker 2: ped regulations in the last ten years, but it used to,
- 38:06Speaker 2: like hair growth medication had a substance that could basically
- 38:12Speaker 2: screen or block other steroids from being viewed in a
- 38:16Speaker 2: in a piss test. So like, if you were taking steroids,
- 38:19Speaker 2: it could mask it. Oh, there was something in the
- 38:22Speaker 2: hair growth that could mask that, so they would test
- 38:25Speaker 2: for the Yeah, so if you were bald, you couldn't
- 38:27Speaker 2: do anything about it. It sucks, so you couldn't take
- 38:30Speaker 2: anything for it. So like there was all sorts of
- 38:32Speaker 2: different things that would pop you that would sound to
- 38:36Speaker 2: the public like steroids or you know, human growth, human
- 38:41Speaker 2: growth hormone or whatever it was. So we're not putting anything,
- 38:45Speaker 2: we're not saying what it is or what it isn't.
- 38:47Speaker 2: It's just what was released and originally it was released
- 38:49Speaker 2: at not knowing the cause yet. But this is a
- 38:53Speaker 2: pretty standard suspension six games for that type.
- 38:58Speaker 6: It's a little funny that the son of Scott Steiner
- 39:02Speaker 6: who's in w W E.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah, got busted for PDD. He's like, it's just a
- 39:05Speaker 3: little ironic.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we get the optics of this, right, there's a
- 39:08Speaker 2: there's an optics violation here that we're all like, okay, well, yeah,
- 39:12Speaker 2: that that fits. That matches, But again we do not know,
- 39:16Speaker 2: so we're not putting that out there. He could have
- 39:18Speaker 2: just o t A's first time in the NFL, needed
- 39:22Speaker 2: to take a little concentration medicine and got busted. That way,
- 39:25Speaker 2: that could have happened, and that again, that pops like
- 39:27Speaker 2: an adderall or concentrated at a d D type of
- 39:30Speaker 2: medicine will pop you and it will just pop up
- 39:33Speaker 2: as a PD because the NFL again does not release
- 39:36Speaker 2: what it actually is.
- 39:38Speaker 3: So we'll see, we'll see how that plays out.
- 39:40Speaker 2: But he's got to make the team first and foremost,
- 39:43Speaker 2: and he just made it infinitely harder on himself to
- 39:45Speaker 2: make the team, of course, with a roster with a
- 39:49Speaker 2: with a suspension of six game suspension. So we hope
- 39:52Speaker 2: he gets that right and we hope becomes a good
- 39:54Speaker 2: player and because it was a really cool story and
- 39:57Speaker 2: hopefully it all plays out the way it should. But yep,
- 40:00Speaker 2: just keep you updated on that. We don't know what
- 40:02Speaker 2: it is, but that is the violation six game suspension.
- 40:05Speaker 2: All right, we'll go to break and we will come
- 40:08Speaker 2: back and we will give you that practice report we
- 40:10Speaker 2: promised you now until I saw a squirrel, So stick
- 40:12Speaker 2: with us.

- 42:28Speaker 2: bright future ahead. So excited to see what his future hold.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Is excited to see what he said and talked to
- 42:35Speaker 2: Jake about. Hopefully it's not a lot of fullback talk, Taylor,
- 42:39Speaker 2: do you know if there's any fullbacks on the LSU roster?
- 42:43Speaker 6: Not technically like listed on the roster, but Zach Grace
- 42:47Speaker 6: played a little h back in the spring.
- 42:48Speaker 3: What is h back?
- 42:50Speaker 6: I view h back as like a tight end that
- 42:52Speaker 6: motions in the backfield. That's just what I've always called it. Really,
- 42:55Speaker 6: I don't know, this was what I've always called it.
- 42:59Speaker 3: You've seen him, He's like.
- 43:01Speaker 2: You, Yeah, okay. I would just always view the half
- 43:05Speaker 2: back as the running back. Sure, that's been my running back,
- 43:09Speaker 2: half back, tailback, all the same thing.
- 43:11Speaker 6: If your tailback your old head, though, I feel like
- 43:13Speaker 6: nobody uses like the older guys.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Use used tailback. Yeah. I always view those three positions
- 43:19Speaker 2: as the same the same person, same guy. Anybody gonna
- 43:25Speaker 2: play fantasy football this year?
- 43:26Speaker 4: Uh?
- 43:27Speaker 2: Yeah?

- 43:40Speaker 6: Yeah, see, I Underhill wants to get in on it.
- 43:43Speaker 6: Guys that chef chef would be great.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Underhill seems like someone that's really gonna overanalyze fantasy football.
- 43:49Speaker 4: He seems like somebody I don't actually want to play
- 43:51Speaker 4: fantasy football with, so we can leave him out.
- 43:53Speaker 2: He's gonna be He's gonna wake up early on Wednesday
- 43:56Speaker 2: and hit the waiver wire every single week. Yeah, looking
- 43:59Speaker 2: for waivers. He's gonna know all the statistics about backup
- 44:02Speaker 2: running backs and the starter tweaked his hammy in the
- 44:05Speaker 2: third quarter, second drive of the game. He's gonna be hit.
- 44:09Speaker 2: He's gonna be hitting that waiver wire pretty hard. But
- 44:11Speaker 2: he's gonna he's gonna be pretty good. Actually, he might
- 44:13Speaker 2: have a blind spot for thirty one teams. Actually, now,
- 44:16Speaker 2: let us say that he's.
- 44:16Speaker 6: Gonna draft nothing but Saints play Yeah, he's either gonna
- 44:19Speaker 6: be great or finish the last.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he's incredible the Saints. He looks like you might
- 44:23Speaker 2: have a we'll ask him about that next week. How
- 44:24Speaker 2: much do you know about other teams potentially NFC South,
- 44:29Speaker 2: He's got some.
- 44:31Speaker 4: At least in the division at least.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Yeah, he's got that down at least that. Yeah, but
- 44:35Speaker 3: it's terrible outside of that.
- 44:38Speaker 2: I take him. We want the league. We want that
- 44:41Speaker 2: guy in the league. I know he's doing great work.
- 44:43Speaker 2: And we'll we'll take a look at Saints training camp
- 44:46Speaker 2: and hour number two we'll also, as promised, we'll get
