- 0:00Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Marc Simone? Three! The
- 0:04Speaker 1: Marc Simone Show. Now nine till noon weekdays. 710WOR. Well, yeah,
- 0:14Speaker 1: it's three hours every day. We start at 9 a.m.
- 0:16Speaker 1: So if you just tuned in, you missed the first
- 0:18Speaker 1: hour and it was a big hour. So it's 9 a.m.
- 0:20Speaker 1: to noon every day. The UN General Assembly continues tying
- 0:25Speaker 1: up everything in New York. It's an absolute mess. Gridlock everywhere. Tonight,
- 0:33Speaker 1: Benjamin Netanyahu comes into town. That'll mean extra, extra, even
- 0:37Speaker 1: beyond what you're seeing now, extra high security. Expect protesters.
- 0:41Speaker 1: He's staying around 61st and Park. That'll be probably a
- 0:45Speaker 1: lot of protests around there. Then he goes to the
- 0:47Speaker 1: UN where they're expecting protests. So he'll be there. here
- 0:51Speaker 1: all day tomorrow, actually for the UN and then some meetings.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And then he will leave town tomorrow night. And then Friday,
- 0:59Speaker 1: you got more of this UN General Assembly. And when
- 1:03Speaker 1: is the 28th? Oh, I hate to break it to you.
- 1:08Speaker 1: They're here all weekend. It's really not till Monday that
- 1:11Speaker 1: they start leaving these world leaders. Some of them will
- 1:13Speaker 1: leave Friday, but it really goes to the 28th till Monday.
- 1:18Speaker 1: And then there's another few days of UN General Assembly
- 1:21Speaker 1: without all the world leaders. So it won't be quite
- 1:25Speaker 1: as bad. Vice President Xi of China arrives tonight in Washington.
- 1:32Speaker 1: He'll be meeting with the president. And, well, we'll see
- 1:39Speaker 1: what Mamdani does when Netanyahu's in town. He'll probably just
- 1:42Speaker 1: speak out. He'll do what he does best, talk and
- 1:45Speaker 1: not act. He can't actually arrest Netanyahu, but he'll certainly
- 1:48Speaker 1: be talking a lot. Netanyahu has threatened to go after
- 1:52Speaker 1: Mamdani in his speech. So Mamdani will have to respond.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Mamdani probably loves this stuff. He loves being the center
- 2:00Speaker 1: of attention. But Netanyahu put out this video yesterday. Shame
- 2:03Speaker 1: on you, Mr. Mamdani.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Shame on you for supporting the Hamas terrorist monsters who
- 2:08Speaker 2: butchered our people. Shame on you for inciting riots against
- 2:12Speaker 2: New York Jews. I'm coming to the UN. I'm going
- 2:15Speaker 2: to tell the truth about our heroic soldiers. And I'm
- 2:18Speaker 2: going to tell the truth about you.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Now see I don't know what's in that threat I
- 2:23Speaker 1: mean he could just be revealing or just you know
- 2:27Speaker 1: in front of the world talking about what an anti-semite
- 2:31Speaker 1: Mamdani is how much trouble he's caused for Jews in
- 2:34Speaker 1: New York but it's Netanyahu Israel has the best intelligence
- 2:40Speaker 1: service in the world who knows what they've come up
- 2:42Speaker 1: with on Mamdani he might be revealing something about Mamdani
- 2:45Speaker 1: so keep an eye on that speech tomorrow that'll be
- 2:49Speaker 1: pretty interesting President Trump, the ban, it's not a ban
- 2:53Speaker 1: on the media. It's a ban on CNN and MSNOW
- 2:59Speaker 1: and Politico, three very slanted biased left-wing organizations. And they're
- 3:05Speaker 1: not banned from covering them. They're just banned from access
- 3:09Speaker 1: to the White House. They can't come in there. They
- 3:10Speaker 1: can stand outside. They can cover them all they want.
- 3:13Speaker 1: And most people cover the president just fine without ever
- 3:16Speaker 1: entering the building. They still have his phone number. We
- 3:19Speaker 1: played you that clip before where Caroline Levitt was talking
- 3:22Speaker 1: about everybody in the media, everybody in the press has
- 3:26Speaker 1: his cell, has his number. He answers every call. So
- 3:29Speaker 1: they can all call him and talk to him. You
- 3:32Speaker 1: can call. Caitlin Collins can call. He'll talk to you.
- 3:34Speaker 1: But it's not allowed in the building. President Trump asked
- 3:39Speaker 1: about all this. So it's an honor to be here. Now,
- 3:41Speaker 1: are you actually speaking? See, that's the other thing. They're
- 3:46Speaker 1: now banning coverage of him, and other networks have joined in,
- 3:50Speaker 1: even Fox. They will not participate in the press pool.
- 3:53Speaker 1: So supposedly they're not covering him. And if you watched
- 3:56Speaker 1: Jimmy Kimmel last night, he was making fun of Trump,
- 4:00Speaker 1: saying Trump got me kicked off TV. Now he got
- 4:02Speaker 1: himself kicked off TV. Now nobody's covering him. He got
- 4:05Speaker 1: himself kicked off TV. I don't know. Last night, this morning,
- 4:09Speaker 1: every time I put on any channel, there he was.
- 4:11Speaker 1: So he seems to be getting covered. And he's talking,
- 4:15Speaker 1: and all of a sudden CNN is covering him. So
- 4:17Speaker 1: I thought they were going to stop covering him. Listen
- 4:19Speaker 1: to this. So it's an honor to be here. I'm
- 4:21Speaker 1: surprised that CNN is here covering me. You shouldn't be here.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You should not be here covering me. You said you
- 4:28Speaker 1: weren't going to cover me. You shouldn't be covering me.
- 4:30Speaker 1: But I will tell you, it is an honor to
- 4:33Speaker 1: be at the United Nations, and we're making a lot
- 4:35Speaker 1: of progress. Our country is doing really, really well. Yeah. See,
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's fascinating. They hate him. They hate him. Trump derangement syndrome.
- 4:44Speaker 1: They hate him. Yet they're obsessed with him. He even
- 4:48Speaker 1: tweeted something about that last night about Caitlin Collins. She
- 4:51Speaker 1: has Trump, what do you call it? Trump obsession syndrome.
- 4:54Speaker 1: She's obsessed with the guy. I have people I hate.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I got lots of people I hate. Everywhere. There's a
- 5:00Speaker 1: couple people here I can't stand. You know what I do?
- 5:02Speaker 1: I don't talk to them. If I see them over there,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I go the other way. I don't talk to them.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I just ignore them. I got a lot of people
- 5:09Speaker 1: I hate. I just stay the hell away from them.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Don't even look at them. Don't even talk to them.
- 5:13Speaker 1: They have a vicious hatred for Trump, but they have
- 5:15Speaker 1: an obsession with him, an obsession. What is this obsession?
- 5:21Speaker 1: I mean, if I really didn't like somebody, if I
- 5:22Speaker 1: really thought they were terrible, I would just never look
- 5:25Speaker 1: at them, talk to them, never talk about them. I
- 5:27Speaker 1: wouldn't spend all day talking to everybody I know about them.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I mean, there's something wrong with you. If you can't
- 5:32Speaker 1: stand this guy that much, stop talking about him. I mean,
- 5:35Speaker 1: he's the president. Occasionally, you're going to have to cover him. Occasionally,
- 5:39Speaker 1: he's an important factor in the news, but All you
- 5:42Speaker 1: do is talk about him. All you do, you put
- 5:46Speaker 1: on MSNBC, CNN, anytime. That's all they're talking about is
- 5:49Speaker 1: him day and night, 24-7. Now, the reason they do that,
- 5:53Speaker 1: it's the business model. The New York Times, you'll remember,
- 5:56Speaker 1: was headed into bankruptcy. The New York Times was fading, dying,
- 6:01Speaker 1: nobody reading it. And they were going broke. They were really,
- 6:05Speaker 1: really about to go bankrupt. And a Mexican billionaire, Carlos Slim,
- 6:10Speaker 1: had to step in and bail them out. Remember, he
- 6:12Speaker 1: became a part owner. He paid to keep them afloat.
- 6:15Speaker 1: And this was true of other news organizations. And then
- 6:17Speaker 1: all of a sudden, 2015, Donald Trump comes along. Summer
- 6:23Speaker 1: of 2015. They didn't take it that seriously. But within
- 6:25Speaker 1: two months, he was all of a sudden the frontrunner.
- 6:28Speaker 1: And then the Trump hatred started. And it became a movement.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It became a cult. It became whatever. But it was massive,
- 6:35Speaker 1: this Trump hatred. So the New York Times and other
- 6:38Speaker 1: organizations started jumping in on that. They became, you know,
- 6:41Speaker 1: the town hall for the Trump hatred. And it brought
- 6:46Speaker 1: the New York Times back. It went from no readers
- 6:48Speaker 1: to being very big. They're probably up to four or
- 6:50Speaker 1: five million on the website now. So it's the business model.
- 6:55Speaker 1: You just be the outlet for all the Trump hatred.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And you see them all over the place, these people
- 7:00Speaker 1: that hate Trump. You know, you go to your Parties,
- 7:03Speaker 1: your Thanksgiving dinner, they're half the crowd. So there's money
- 7:06Speaker 1: to be made off them. You can exploit those Trump haters.
- 7:10Speaker 1: And that's the New York Times business model. MSNBC is
- 7:14Speaker 1: moderately successful. It's not that successful. You remember MSNBC was
- 7:19Speaker 1: a big part of the NBC network and the NBC family.
- 7:23Speaker 1: And about a year ago, NBC threw them the hell out.
- 7:26Speaker 1: They got rid of MSNBC. It doesn't make that kind
- 7:29Speaker 1: of money. It's not very successful. They literally threw them out,
- 7:33Speaker 1: threw them out of the building, threw them out of
- 7:35Speaker 1: the company. That's why they had to change the name
- 7:37Speaker 1: to MS Now. They had to change the logo to
- 7:40Speaker 1: get the NBC colors out of it. They no longer
- 7:44Speaker 1: have access to NBC news reporters or any of that. Now,
- 7:47Speaker 1: CNN is a different case. MS Now probably makes enough
- 7:50Speaker 1: money to just survive. CNN loses money. It's a ratings disaster.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's in last place in cable news, always last place.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Very few viewers survive. And now Paramount has bought its
- 8:05Speaker 1: parent company, Warner Brothers Discovery. And there's something like that
- 8:10Speaker 1: with CNN. You remember MSNBC on the weekends used to
- 8:13Speaker 1: run those prison documentaries? And they would run those old
- 8:18Speaker 1: biographies with Peter Graves' biography. Well, that was like free.
- 8:23Speaker 1: There were reruns. They would just run them. It got
- 8:26Speaker 1: like four times the ratings that MSNBC got during the week.
- 8:29Speaker 1: It did much, much, much better. So, hey, the New
- 8:33Speaker 1: York Times also, you talk about fake news. The New
- 8:38Speaker 1: York Times, Maggie Haberman, who has been conning people for years,
- 8:42Speaker 1: pretending she's close to Donald Trump, that she is the
- 8:46Speaker 1: inside source on Donald Trump. That Maggie Haberman, no one
- 8:50Speaker 1: knows Trump like that. She has nothing to do with
- 8:51Speaker 1: Donald Trump. She talks to him once or twice a year,
- 8:55Speaker 1: has no knowledge of Donald Trump, doesn't know anything about him.
- 8:58Speaker 1: But she's got a new book out she's promoting. It's
- 9:00Speaker 1: called regime change. So she's running around on shows. But
- 9:03Speaker 1: this is an example of just total fake news. So
- 9:07Speaker 1: she goes on these MSNBC shows and CNN. And Haberman
- 9:12Speaker 1: is now saying in interviews that in the West Wing,
- 9:16Speaker 1: they're starting to see that President Trump has no advisors anymore.
- 9:20Speaker 1: He has the fewest advisors counseling him of any president. Now,
- 9:26Speaker 1: anybody that's around the White House knows that this is
- 9:30Speaker 1: not only not true, it's the total opposite of the truth.
- 9:33Speaker 1: No president has ever had more people advising him than
- 9:37Speaker 1: Donald Trump. Every time you see that he lets the
- 9:39Speaker 1: press in for the meeting with Zelensky or the meeting
- 9:42Speaker 1: about something, you'll notice there's 30 people in the room.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Everybody is there. Scott Besant is there. Rubio is there. J.D.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Vance is there. Howard Lutnick is there. They're all in
- 9:53Speaker 1: the room. They're always there. That's one of the problems
- 9:56Speaker 1: with Trump when you go to see him. It's one
- 9:59Speaker 1: of the big problems. You want to talk to him
- 10:01Speaker 1: about something. He's always got 20 people with him. There's
- 10:04Speaker 1: always 20 people there. If you're lucky, sometimes it's 30
- 10:08Speaker 1: or 40 people. It's hard to catch the guy alone.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Even when he's traveling, he's got 17 people in the
- 10:13Speaker 1: room with him on the plane. Nobody's ever had more
- 10:15Speaker 1: advisors than this guy. And we played the clip before
- 10:18Speaker 1: of Caroline Leavitt who revealed that everybody in the press,
- 10:23Speaker 1: everybody in the media has his phone number. They all
- 10:26Speaker 1: call him all the time. He always answers and talks
- 10:28Speaker 1: to them. And besides all these advisors that he has,
- 10:30Speaker 1: all these cabinet members, and all these advisors he has
- 10:33Speaker 1: in the room with him, half the day he's on
- 10:36Speaker 1: the phone calling people. And he calls people constantly for advice.
- 10:41Speaker 1: We've never had a president do that. Occasionally, if you
- 10:44Speaker 1: look at the Nixon tapes, Sometimes he'd call a CEO
- 10:48Speaker 1: or something to see how that business was doing. Trump
- 10:50Speaker 1: does it all day long. He calls every leader. He
- 10:54Speaker 1: calls Jamie Dimon. He calls the head of Apple. He
- 10:58Speaker 1: just calls everybody all day, always looking for advice. Sometimes
- 11:02Speaker 1: he'll sit there, especially in the afternoon, 5 to 6.30.
- 11:05Speaker 1: He's just on the phone constantly. Call 20 people for advice.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Nobody's ever had more advisors. Social Security, they've been looking
- 11:15Speaker 1: at it. and they've been looking at Obamacare. Dr. Oz
- 11:21Speaker 1: revealing he's in charge of all this stuff now. They
- 11:24Speaker 1: just found on Obamacare 1.1 million enrollees that don't have
- 11:30Speaker 1: a Social Security number, don't seem to be citizens. 1.1 million.
- 11:35Speaker 1: They just threw 750,000 of them off Obamacare. That'll save
- 11:39Speaker 1: taxpayers $ 2 billion. They're looking for more. They're finding a
- 11:44Speaker 1: lot of stuff. Voter fraud. They're finding homophobia. hundreds of
- 11:46Speaker 1: thousands of names of people that had no business being
- 11:49Speaker 1: on the voter rolls. Hey, Marco Rubio, he's one of
- 11:54Speaker 1: the top advisors to the president. You know, he's the
- 11:57Speaker 1: secretary of state. But at one point they made him
- 12:01Speaker 1: temporary national security advisor as well. That's two jobs, one guy.
- 12:08Speaker 1: And well, yesterday they made it permanent. They signed a
- 12:11Speaker 1: commission formally making Rubio the official permanent national security advisor. Now,
- 12:18Speaker 1: there's only one other person that's done that, held both
- 12:20Speaker 1: jobs at the same time. You know who it was?
- 12:23Speaker 1: That's right, Kissinger. Under Nixon, Henry Kissinger was secretary of
- 12:28Speaker 1: state and was also national security advisor. It's kind of
- 12:32Speaker 1: a similar job, although it's a lot more responsibility. Rubio,
- 12:37Speaker 1: a lot of people think Rubio will be the 2028 candidate.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I know JD Vance is in the lead supposedly, but
- 12:47Speaker 1: Vance is a very young guy. He's like 41. Rubio,
- 12:50Speaker 1: more seasoned, more knowledgeable about the world and a lot
- 12:54Speaker 1: of stuff. So keep an eye on Rubio. Hey, normally
- 12:57Speaker 1: I'd say we'll take some calls next. I can't say that, right? No,
- 13:01Speaker 1: our phones aren't working. Here in iHeart headquarters, the most state-of-the-art,
- 13:07Speaker 1: unbelievable high-tech facility in the world. The phones don't work. Now,
- 13:12Speaker 1: we can still have a guest because that's different. That's
- 13:13Speaker 1: a different phone thing. That's the special hotline we call.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Those work. But the call-in numbers, it goes through an
- 13:20Speaker 1: Amazon cloud or something. So it's not just us. It's
- 13:23Speaker 1: like outside the building. It's some– this is the other
- 13:27Speaker 1: thing with AI and digital everything. When it goes bad,
- 13:31Speaker 1: it can go very bad. So, well, we can't take calls.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That means I got to talk more. Anyway, we'll get
- 13:40Speaker 1: to that next. On 710WOR.
