  hard sometimes. Sometimes I try to hit a home

  run. And I understand that you all

  like to hear about controversy and dark, deep secrets, but

  sometimes I just got to talk about what I want to talk about.

  I can go all over town here in Arnold, MO and everywhere I go.

  Twisted Tavern, Cybergs, Detours.

  Mcallister's Deli, Panera, Mod Pizza.

  Wherever I go, people tell me how much they enjoy Coffee with

  Kenny. And I'm thinking to myself,

  well, they got to like everything I say because all

  these people are not race fans. Hell, I meet people that don't

  know anything about racing, but they like Coffee with Kenny.

  So here's here's the point I'm trying to get to.

  Does everything I do have to do with racing respond right here?

  Every single coffee with Kenny, does it have to do with racing

  respond right here. For example, yesterday we lost a

  dear friend, Ray Marler. Ray Marler was Kenny Schrader's

  partner. They used to own the the I-55
• 1:57
  Speedway down there in Pevely, about 12-14 minutes from my

  house. Ray passed away.
• 2:05
  Really sad deal. Ray would call me every Monday
• 2:09
  morning. Herman, do you have time to

  talk? And say, I say, Ray, I always
• 2:16
  got time for you and we would talk.

  But I feel bad today that Ray lost his life.

  Man, I'll tell you what it seems like they always come in threes

  then Greg Biffle and you know, and that's something else right
• 2:31
  there. I want to get to.

  Somebody called me last night and they said it's a shame that
• 2:39
  nobody talks about all the other people that died on the Greg
• 2:44
  Biffle airplane. And I said, hold on a minute.

  I said it is very hard to talk and say everybody's name,

  although I can Greg Biffle, his wife, his two children, Craig
• 3:00
  Wadsworth, the Duttons, the pilot, his son.

  But you know, when you talk about Greg Biffle's plane wreck

  with friends, you, you just say Greg Biffle because it was
• 3:15
  Greg's plane. And sometimes it's, it's kind of
• 3:18
  like a, it's kind of like, you know, saying Kenny Wallace
• 3:23
  Racing or what is Kenny Wallace racing?

  Well, the, the vice president is Kim, you know, and then you got,
• 3:30
  you know, me. And then in other words, there's
• 3:34
  always got to be like a leader. So I you just say Greg Biffle's
• 3:39
  plane. We do remember all the other
• 3:43
  people on that plane, but that person was upset last night.
• 3:47
  Why aren't anybody else talking about those people on the plane?

  I said, listen, I said Craig Wadsworth was on that plane.

  But we just say Greg's name because it's easier because it

  was Greg's plane. He was the leader and and he was
• 4:03
  very popular. So what do you think about that?

  I mean it, you know, so basically a lot of messaging

  this morning here with coffee with Kenny.

  Is it OK that I just talk about what I want to talk about?

  Does it have to be racing all the time?

  I got things on my mind that have nothing to do with racing.

  Kid was mad last night that we don't say everybody's name in

  the Greg Biffle wreck. Speaking of that, it seems like.

  OK, listen, I'm going to give you my thoughts.

  This is what I think. I don't know if this is what

  happened, but listen, everywhere I go, everybody says, Herman,

  what do you think happened with Greg Biffle's plane crash?

  So I'm just going to say like you all do, OK, here's what I

  think. This is my opinion.

  I don't know. And you know, everybody can say

  well, let's wait till everything comes out.

  Well, we can wait. But until then, the smart people

  that I talked to, they have opinions.

  Here's what I think. I think the plane took off.

  I think they lost a motor and then I guess it started having a

  lot of drag on it. In other words, you know, it's

  yes, we know it should fly just perfectly with one motor.

  However, I'm going to go to one man.

  Did you all see that video with that country guy that lives
• 6:07
  right there by the Statesville airport?

  It's not a very famous video, but I have talked to some

  friends and they say, oh, yeah, I remember that video.

  There's there's a real nice guy that lives right on the
• 6:19
  Statesville airport. And he says, I've lived here my
• 6:23
  whole life and I listen to planes come across all the time.

  And he said Greg Biffle's plane was just screaming instead of
• 6:35
  instead of the horsepower off, you know, you know, So what I
• 6:42
  think happened, once again, we don't know what happened.

  And, and this is my disclaimer, I think that they had a lot of
• 6:53
  drag on the airplane. I think the flaps were down.

  Now respond right here. We're just having, we're just

  having a discussion. Everybody, you know, may the

  Lord be with everybody. This is a very heartfelt

  discussion. It was such a tragic loss.

  Everybody wants to know what happened.

  I think we lost a motor. That's where all the up and down

  was taking place. They decide to come back.

  The flaps are down. We don't have any horsepower.

  So now we're laying power to it. I think it had a lot of drag and

  I think it had so much dragon and had they, they were throttle

  wide open and I think it just didn't make it.

  That's what I think happened. I think it just didn't make it

  to the runway. I think it's just a tragic loss

  of life and that's what I respectfully think what

  happened. Now you respond right here, but

  you know, the landing gear was down, the flaps were down, and

  it didn't have enough horsepower to get to the runway and it was

  short. I mean, that's what I think.

  It's been a sad, sad couple weeks here with the Greg Biffle

  tragedy and then Ray Marler dying.

  I loved Ray. I told Kim last night.

  I said, boy, Ray, Ray Marler passed away.

  Really bothers me to just know that Ray's not going to call me
• 8:40
  anymore. So in ending, is it OK to talk

  about what I want to talk about or do I have to talk about

  controversy in NASCAR all the time?
