- 7:24Speaker 2: Of us was born.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Honestly, they had not rebound there at all, but legendary place.
- 7:28Speaker 1: To man, it's just a lot of stories.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to go to culture, you need to
- 7:34Speaker 2: go to Shadow Lounge, the trap guy, so you need
- 7:37Speaker 2: to go to Mama's kitchen. It's just a lot of
- 7:40Speaker 2: places that you just missed. So on your day. City,
- 7:45Speaker 2: I'm just saying, it's cool. I got you. We gonna
- 7:48Speaker 2: hold you down the right way.
- 7:49Speaker 6: I do feel like I saw a lot of the
- 7:50Speaker 6: city though. It's very clean city.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Very functional city. You can move around, you can park
- 7:56Speaker 1: just about anywhere.
- 7:57Speaker 2: You can park about.
- 7:58Speaker 5: Everyone was really nice about moving, very nice people. We
- 8:02Speaker 5: were shooting at the mural and we tried to like
- 8:06Speaker 5: get a clean street to get the mural, and like
- 8:09Speaker 5: I just moved.
- 8:10Speaker 2: His car was so nice that would.
- 8:12Speaker 6: Never happen in La.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Oh no, yeah, I probably could.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Market in LA. So they'd be like, no chance.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody here pretty chill. So yeah, I'm glad you
- 8:22Speaker 2: got a good experience while out here.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You lived in bost cities. What's your favorite city to
- 8:26Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, move around in Miami or.
- 8:27Speaker 5: LA They're both actually pretty hard to move around in
- 8:33Speaker 5: la Is I would say is worse just because there's
- 8:35Speaker 5: there's more people. But Miami has gotten a little crazy.
- 8:39Speaker 5: I mean when I when I lived in Miami full time,
- 8:42Speaker 5: it was a completely different city. I say, she's grown
- 8:44Speaker 5: up now a little bit. She's like in her out
- 8:47Speaker 5: of college era, got her first.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Big girl job.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Like Miami was just a place you would go out
- 8:53Speaker 5: and party huge clubs. There wasn't really like a sophisticated
- 8:59Speaker 5: scene when I lived there. It's changed a lot, and
- 9:02Speaker 5: I feel like I fel a lot of places that
- 9:04Speaker 5: have changed. You still have like big mega clubs in Vegas,
- 9:08Speaker 5: and you still have eleven and live in Miami, but
- 9:10Speaker 5: it's not really the scene anymore. I feel like people
- 9:12Speaker 5: are more more chill. Just in general, in society, people
- 9:16Speaker 5: want to be able to like talk to each other
- 9:18Speaker 5: and you know you have your time to like go
- 9:21Speaker 5: pop bottles and act nuts.
- 9:22Speaker 6: But it's changed a lot.
- 9:24Speaker 5: La is a very actually surprisingly not sleepy city, but
- 9:27Speaker 5: it's it's just like you go to long dinners there.
- 9:31Speaker 5: I'm also older, so like maybe there is and I
- 9:33Speaker 5: just don't know about it.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Miami. I love to Miami in like twenty twelve, two
- 9:39Speaker 2: thousand and nine to twelve to fifteen. Mansion first bro, Yes, yes,
- 9:48Speaker 2: what a time. That's when Diddy was out there. Then club,
- 9:51Speaker 2: but no folks nor conversation. You just had a fun time. Literally.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I was thinking about that because I remember we went
- 10:01Speaker 2: to club club Bed was a vibe. I didn't go
- 10:05Speaker 2: on diddy s night. I did. I did. You didn't
- 10:10Speaker 2: go to Club Rush. I never. I've never been in
- 10:13Speaker 2: the same building as God bless everybody who's been a
- 10:15Speaker 2: part of that. I'm saying to say, I'm just saying, no,
- 10:20Speaker 2: he was party.
- 10:23Speaker 6: I went to bed a lot.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But have you ever went to a Diddy party?
- 10:30Speaker 5: Not that I recollect Okay, wow, that that clarify that.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Remember not the internet is a wild place show. He
- 10:41Speaker 5: was there on this night in two thousand.
- 10:42Speaker 6: And seven, Like all right, you got me, I was outside.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I'm just saying.
- 10:45Speaker 5: I've never intentionally gone to Dicky party.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Miami was lit.
- 10:51Speaker 5: It was a great place, a great, great place, amazing,
- 10:55Speaker 5: it was affordable. You know, we're still dancing, was not
- 11:00Speaker 5: recording everybody, great place.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Was amazing speaking to dance. So we just had I
- 11:06Speaker 4: want to ask you this as a woman.
- 11:07Speaker 1: If you are at the crib and here that your
- 11:10Speaker 1: man wents the club, your homegirl tells you, no, he
- 11:12Speaker 1: went in there getting active, but he was in there
- 11:14Speaker 1: actually dancing. Are you upset by that? Like he had
- 11:16Speaker 1: a hose, but he was in there actually like busting
- 11:19Speaker 1: the splits? Is that out of pocket?
- 11:20Speaker 6: I don't believe that men should dance, So I don't believe.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I don't.
- 11:25Speaker 6: I don't think men should have too much fun, So I.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Can't we modeled bar continue, So men should I have.
- 11:35Speaker 6: I didn't say fun, that's too much fun.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Dancing in the club, by your fun, it's just what's going
- 11:43Speaker 5: on here.
- 11:45Speaker 6: I mean, listen, class like.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, come on, her dudes started dancing.
- 11:49Speaker 5: She's I misjudged you unless you were drugs, in which
- 11:57Speaker 5: case we can we can work through it.
- 11:58Speaker 1: The XP had a knowing Yeah, the club that's not
- 12:01Speaker 1: in your base, should not be.
- 12:06Speaker 6: So what I want you to do? No no, no, no
- 12:08Speaker 6: no no no, that's where you are.
- 12:10Speaker 4: We need to drinks. Sure he was that there, all right,
- 12:15Speaker 4: what we got today?
- 12:16Speaker 2: I wanted to make you. Yes, please, thank you, Chamelia,
- 12:21Speaker 2: enjoy turn up.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Sure that dark red people came here which have a
- 12:27Speaker 3: solid gear on the st Okay, first her Preacher's wife.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Preacher, Oh god, you can.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Preacher's Wife is low key a toxic movie.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You know, what have you said that?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Because this is that Washington got has asked, who get
- 12:51Speaker 1: away from my wife? God is not saying back on
- 12:53Speaker 1: my girl?
- 12:54Speaker 6: What is she doing on her heavy? Because she was
- 12:57Speaker 6: being neglected as a wife. Oh and God said her,
- 13:00Speaker 6: that's Washington.
- 13:02Speaker 2: So now you're vouching talk about it.
- 13:04Speaker 6: I'm just.
- 13:11Speaker 1: She goes to the girls. God said her that all right. Cool,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I was in the club and it's following. Yeah over there, God.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Yeah, man, figure out that well the Russ God said,
- 13:25Speaker 3: for sure, the wife, that's great.
- 13:29Speaker 2: And honestly that was with you.
- 13:30Speaker 5: You gotta respect it was, I'm saying, God sent him. Okay,
- 13:37Speaker 5: why would he that's off the movie title?
- 13:41Speaker 2: He was an angel. He was an angel, yeahs an angel.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't like how he shot that met up
- 13:46Speaker 1: before said my church is trash is hell and you
- 13:49Speaker 1: send him back here.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Hey, bro, just give me some more money. We could
- 13:51Speaker 4: have fixed all this. I needed a new water heater,
- 13:53Speaker 4: and you said that angel to make my family better.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Bro to nucle she was out of the pocket. I mean, yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 4: the guy has as.
- 14:02Speaker 6: It's out there punching snow.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I love this show for the people who are not
- 14:07Speaker 1: familiar with you. How did you get into liking sports?
- 14:10Speaker 1: Knowing sports?
- 14:10Speaker 2: All the above? So I grew up in Pittsburgh.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Okay, I am a solution. I'm a little mad at
- 14:15Speaker 5: them right now. They're they're they're kind of becoming the Bears.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Damn not the current Bears.
- 14:22Speaker 2: The current Bears.
- 14:22Speaker 4: We've got to.
- 14:24Speaker 6: Bears have got together.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Yeah, the Bears before Caleb got wicked, where they have
- 14:29Speaker 5: like this like this cont like we.
- 14:31Speaker 6: Were on the ball and play gave us.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Get a quarterback. They do have a quarterback, the greatest quarterback.
- 14:40Speaker 5: All right, So I grew up in Pittsburgh because keep
- 14:44Speaker 5: you know, we'll get back to that.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Uh you said he's the greatest.
- 14:49Speaker 2: The most talented. I would say the most talented quarterback.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Okay, I mean, I can respect that opinion. I don't
- 14:57Speaker 5: have to fight you on that.
- 14:59Speaker 2: He's not the greatest. I'm ready he's the most talent.
- 15:02Speaker 5: He's an incredibly talented quarterback for sure. But it's his
- 15:04Speaker 5: last year in the league.
- 15:06Speaker 3: We got one more year left. I know, he said,
- 15:07Speaker 3: I know, he said he's gonna retire, but we really
- 15:09Speaker 3: got more.
- 15:11Speaker 2: He's coming back. No, that's what we do.
- 15:13Speaker 5: We go to the playoffs to get knocked in the
- 15:15Speaker 5: first round. It's not the standard for the Steelers. I
- 15:18Speaker 5: grew up with the Steelers, like you, We're going to
- 15:21Speaker 5: the super Bowl.
- 15:22Speaker 6: That's it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: The super Bowl.
- 15:23Speaker 5: We're winning the super Bowl. That's what we That's what
- 15:26Speaker 5: we do. And it's it's a it's we've had four coaches.
- 15:32Speaker 5: It's not we right now though. Upset with them anyway.
- 15:34Speaker 5: I grew up in Pittsburgh watching the Steelers. Was a
- 15:38Speaker 5: Dan Marino fan as well. From pitt I went a
- 15:42Speaker 5: bit and just you know Pittsburgh is it's kind of
- 15:47Speaker 5: similar and he's a very sports centered town.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Everybody has to pay attention to.
- 15:53Speaker 5: The Steelers are playing have football kind of as the
- 15:56Speaker 5: center of everything. How you guys have basketball server the
- 15:59Speaker 5: time and everything, Like everyone plays football. Everyone's had pee
- 16:03Speaker 5: wee games to high school games. And I just grew
- 16:07Speaker 5: up with women who were very opinionated about sports, like
- 16:10Speaker 5: my aunts and my grandmother and my mother. Just my
- 16:12Speaker 5: mom loves the Cowboys. I don't understand why or how
- 16:15Speaker 5: that happened.
- 16:15Speaker 2: She like Sammon Smith queen.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Yeah, well she is a queen. But the Cowboys thing
- 16:21Speaker 5: is weird. And I played sports. I played basketball, volleyball, soccer,
- 16:26Speaker 5: ran track, and she participate.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Actually, what'd you wish sport?
- 16:32Speaker 3: Did you do?
- 16:33Speaker 2: Well?
- 16:34Speaker 6: Track was my best sport. I ran track from college soccer.
- 16:38Speaker 5: I also got recruited for soccer, but you know, I
- 16:41Speaker 5: stopped growing in seventh grade, so basketball was not going
- 16:43Speaker 5: to be.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:45Speaker 5: I thought it was gonna Michael Jordan Cheryl swoops the witherspoon.
- 16:50Speaker 6: Ai.
- 16:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that's that's that was all that I
- 16:56Speaker 5: could be. Scrappy, scrappy defensive player.
- 17:00Speaker 2: See I didn't say I told she was Jose Alvarado. Damn,
- 17:06Speaker 2: I would say that he's good. I'm saying. She said
- 17:10Speaker 2: it was fast and ran yeah, found the ship.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:13Speaker 4: Oh yeah, but I.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Like to fight.
- 17:17Speaker 5: She was a bloser I would like because I was
- 17:20Speaker 5: little and skinny like, but I was fast. I would
- 17:23Speaker 5: always say in front of you. I mean I was
- 17:25Speaker 5: not good at basketball. We don't need to get into
- 17:26Speaker 5: that place.
- 17:27Speaker 2: But I love sports. Obviously.
- 17:29Speaker 5: My brother played football for from his junior year on,
- 17:35Speaker 5: and so, yeah, I just grew up in a sports family.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Playing sports. I was always at a practice, always at
- 17:40Speaker 5: a game. Gave me opportunity to get out of the house,
- 17:43Speaker 5: which was not a good place for me. So it
- 17:45Speaker 5: really was an escape as well. But that's really how
- 17:48Speaker 5: I fell in love with sports.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Well, your brother start playing football is junior year.
- 17:52Speaker 6: Yeah, he actually got discovered by the high school coach.
- 17:56Speaker 5: She was mowing a lawn because he played basketball and
- 17:58Speaker 5: he thought he was going to play basketball and he
- 18:03Speaker 5: was mowing a lawn and the coach saw him, the
- 18:05Speaker 5: head coach of the football team, and was like, do
- 18:07Speaker 5: you play football? And he was like, now, I play basketball,
- 18:09Speaker 5: and he was like, come try out, damn.
- 18:12Speaker 2: And then one of the kadis ever it shadow g J.
- 18:16Speaker 3: You said you'd like to fight. Barbie r our sister
- 18:20Speaker 3: she liked to fight too. Yeah, yeah, I mean I
- 18:23Speaker 3: don't like fighting.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I like to fight.
- 18:28Speaker 6: I'm a Prome woman. Now I'm not fighting.
- 18:31Speaker 2: She just stopped.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Maybe like twenty five.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I've just seen her All Star, my last physical.
- 18:41Speaker 6: I'm probably thirty. But damn they deserved it. But but yeah, no,
- 18:47Speaker 6: I just I was did you win?
- 18:48Speaker 3: You know?
- 18:50Speaker 5: Well, I don't know if I should tell that. I'm
- 18:52Speaker 5: not gonna tell that story. It's inappropriate.
- 18:55Speaker 2: There's nothing appropriate about our show. Yeah, yeah, well, I
- 18:58Speaker 2: don't have to say no names. But just it wasn't believing.
- 19:01Speaker 6: It was more of a fight. It's more me like
- 19:03Speaker 6: smacking someone.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Okay, you smacked it, and it was you smacked it
- 19:08Speaker 2: and it was over. Yeah, damn, big dog. Respect. She
- 19:15Speaker 2: wants to work for you, Okay, cool.
- 19:19Speaker 6: Not for me.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I haven't never want to write I have the bar.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Whoever that was at the bar, she's doing it, definitely,
- 19:34Speaker 3: it's always at a bar.
- 19:35Speaker 2: He wasn't drinking red wine and smacking people.
- 19:37Speaker 6: I was not drinking red wine.
- 19:39Speaker 2: You know.
- 19:39Speaker 5: The thing is, I I do like a martini.
- 19:44Speaker 6: I like, I don't like talking about you. I like
- 19:46Speaker 6: a martini, and.
- 19:49Speaker 5: I like a really really good like reposado and like
- 19:53Speaker 5: a good juice.
- 19:54Speaker 6: But I can only do like one. Yeah, wine is
- 19:57Speaker 6: different wine. I could do a bottle.
- 19:59Speaker 2: What's the mo that you did that? Martinis?
- 20:03Speaker 6: Bro love, I used to know. I used to bar
- 20:06Speaker 6: tend for a long time, but I don't remember what's
- 20:08Speaker 6: in that.
- 20:09Speaker 1: It's whole lot of bullshit in the sidecar. Get drunk
- 20:11Speaker 1: real quick. One of my favorites for sure now as
- 20:14Speaker 1: a man, was it drink that if you see him pull.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Up with you like I'm judging.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Like when we was in Vegas, he got us lemon drops,
- 20:21Speaker 4: that's what That's what.
- 20:21Speaker 2: They had me at where we went the Elmos. They
- 20:26Speaker 2: gave me a let me try to get margarita. Yeah,
- 20:31Speaker 2: sugar on the right. So you did you tell him
- 20:33Speaker 2: on the rocks though, because I ain't say nothing, Bro
- 20:35Speaker 2: brought it out. We gotta tell him on the rise
- 20:37Speaker 2: so you knew he's alcoholic.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Excuse me. You gotta see how you got the sugar off.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I ain't get enough sugar off. No I didn't.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Oh he just spent he just spend it around.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Wow, Raal, I do love to he but he actually
- 20:58Speaker 5: I even think for women that looks crazy.
- 21:00Speaker 6: I'll get busy.
- 21:01Speaker 5: You have to you gotta conference tongue to glass.
- 21:08Speaker 6: You have to.
- 21:11Speaker 2: So this stuff actually get it all along. That's gonna
- 21:17Speaker 2: She's a two way.
- 21:19Speaker 4: No getting too personal perspective.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I feel like, yeah, we're not going to really okay.
- 21:32Speaker 5: If you like a fruity drink, you like a fruity drink. Also,
- 21:35Speaker 5: I think people should drink what they want to drink.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I had to tell her, like you being softly ordered.
- 21:43Speaker 6: First of all, you didn't order with with confidence, I.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Said, I just like reps of.
- 21:49Speaker 5: You did not say drink.
- 21:55Speaker 2: I give Margarita you saying tequila neat because I know
- 21:59Speaker 2: he do.
- 21:59Speaker 4: He does order yes the fact, yeah, but so sugar.
- 22:05Speaker 3: At a represento. I's say nothing else, he said, Margarita,
- 22:08Speaker 3: I said.
- 22:11Speaker 6: Say me.
- 22:12Speaker 7: I told him, hey, Barb, the game.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Okay, Look, watching football doesn't have to be complicated or expensive.
- 22:37Speaker 3: So DJ tell them what we got going this year. Man, mom, bro,
- 22:40Speaker 3: you know what the bobs is this year? Sling TV
- 22:43Speaker 3: holding down for this football season for sure.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Man.

- 22:47Speaker 1: tap in and support our team.
- 22:48Speaker 4: You can get the day passed for literally four ninety nine.
- 22:51Speaker 1: You could tap in on the three day pass or
- 22:53Speaker 1: the Essentils packages month to month for nineteen ninety nine. Man,
- 22:56Speaker 1: they got you covered for all basics, so you can
- 22:57Speaker 1: tap into football this year. Saturday is in the fall
- 22:59Speaker 1: or Sacred Man sec acc Big twelve. You don't want
- 23:03Speaker 1: to miss a single snap, but you definitely don't want
- 23:06Speaker 1: to overpay for it. And things have gotten complicated and
- 23:08Speaker 1: expensive to watch nowadays.
- 23:10Speaker 2: That's where Sling TV comes in. They have flexible package
- 23:12Speaker 2: options so you can watch football on your own terms.

- 23:21Speaker 2: package to watch ESPN for the best price. Man.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Like we said, you can either get a day passed
- 23:26Speaker 1: before ninety nine, you get a three day pass or
- 23:28Speaker 1: even a seven day pass. Man, whatever you need. Slings
- 23:30Speaker 1: TV got you locked in all football season, so head
- 23:33Speaker 1: to sling dot com and save on game day.
- 23:37Speaker 2: So I love good cold water.
- 23:38Speaker 1: That's worst joys around obviously, the lomrita or the cut waters.
- 23:43Speaker 4: What's more dangerous.
- 23:44Speaker 5: I have never had a cut water. You never had
- 23:46Speaker 5: cut off, so you have though a limerita? Yeah, I
- 23:50Speaker 5: could not put down a lime marita.
- 23:52Speaker 2: No. I wasn't.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I'm not really like the I wish I could drink
- 23:55Speaker 5: the can drinks, but they upset my tommy, so I
- 24:01Speaker 5: can't do it. But they seem very convenient, so I
- 24:04Speaker 5: would like to like them. But if I have to
- 24:07Speaker 5: do something like that, I'll have like a cider, like
- 24:09Speaker 5: an angry orchard.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Hey man, though, I ain't never drunk a beer in
- 24:12Speaker 3: my life, that's real, ain't bad.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I don't trust nobody to drink beer. That's a wild sport,
- 24:21Speaker 2: just like you don't trust people on the speakerphone.
- 24:25Speaker 6: Period.
- 24:25Speaker 2: So if you if you drunk a beer right in
- 24:27Speaker 2: front of me, yeah, she smokes.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Cigarette, Yeah that's not you gotta yeah, you gotta.
- 24:35Speaker 5: So I'm not judging men for the drinks to day order,
- 24:38Speaker 5: but you guys are judging women.
- 24:40Speaker 2: From I like to dance.
- 24:42Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, you you guys, three of you go out
- 24:48Speaker 5: and all of a sudden a song comes on.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Hold on before you finish. Out of us three, who
- 24:54Speaker 2: you think is gonna dance first? Keep? Yes? Yes?
- 24:59Speaker 1: The love love as an insult?
- 25:06Speaker 2: No, No, I'm just more.
- 25:10Speaker 6: Uh care free?
- 25:11Speaker 2: Oh god.
- 25:13Speaker 5: So what I'm saying is you three are out and
- 25:17Speaker 5: he just pops out on the dance.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Floor and starts.
- 25:19Speaker 6: Yeah, you're not gonna be concerned.
- 25:22Speaker 4: No, it's gonna be on the show, but you're not
- 25:24Speaker 4: gonna be concerned.
- 25:25Speaker 6: You're not gonna be like that. This happening wake.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Shore security is around him and guard so he can
- 25:30Speaker 2: get this ship. I don't want nothing to happen to him.
- 25:32Speaker 1: But yeah, for a soul training club, I'm gonna be
- 25:35Speaker 1: doing something else. We dropped and get a blood since
- 25:38Speaker 1: in the morning as we go, Yeah there now being here.
- 25:42Speaker 1: We came from on the beer because back in the
- 25:43Speaker 1: Bold days the Bud Lives, you said he had.
- 25:47Speaker 2: To drink in the beer for show. This is shout
- 25:49Speaker 2: ou to my boy, hughs Henbrick. He is for the
- 25:53Speaker 2: drink and the beer in his hand. It was just
- 25:55Speaker 2: a vib thing. I never drunk this shipline was.
- 25:59Speaker 5: It was a tough air, Uh it was. I can't
- 26:02Speaker 5: really drink a lot of beer though. I got like
- 26:03Speaker 5: a little corona on the on the boat.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Okay, yeah that type ship. But I can't.
- 26:09Speaker 6: I can't put down like a logger.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I never mad man.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Especially people who know what I'm saying, watch sports, specially
- 26:14Speaker 1: football as well. Man keep the butt on tap for
- 26:16Speaker 1: show with the Wings. I ain't mad at chicken and
- 26:18Speaker 1: beer Ma. It's always a player combination, for sure.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I don't.
- 26:23Speaker 6: Once you get me started.
- 26:24Speaker 8: If somebody like, come on sugar beer Barbie, I might.
- 26:29Speaker 6: I would never.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Barbarie Barbie vibe. It's for the vibes, you know.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Yeah, man, it's Fox twenty somewhere. Man, tap into the
- 26:37Speaker 1: patron to YouTube bar We appreciate.
- 26:39Speaker 2: You before you kick me off.
- 26:40Speaker 4: I have a question go crazy So I have.
- 26:45Speaker 8: Somewhere and my girl, So I wanted to ask you though,
- 26:49Speaker 8: with being in this space, how do we be ourselves,
- 26:53Speaker 8: be authentic without without giving the people too much of
- 26:57Speaker 8: our personal life?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Like how did you decipher that?
- 26:59Speaker 5: I'm so figuring that out, honestly, especially because I've worked
- 27:03Speaker 5: in sports my whole career, so I'm talking about someone else. Right,
- 27:08Speaker 5: If you do a show about you, you have to
- 27:10Speaker 5: talk about you exactly. And I'm a pretty private person
- 27:14Speaker 5: and I don't like everybody in my business. But that's
- 27:17Speaker 5: not how that works. So what I try to do
- 27:19Speaker 5: is just have things I know I'm not going to
- 27:21Speaker 5: talk about or you know, I'm never I've never been
- 27:25Speaker 5: like a name person I'll talk about experiences, but not
- 27:27Speaker 5: ever say this was the person that this happened with.
- 27:30Speaker 5: But I think just remember that everything that you put
- 27:32Speaker 5: out is forever. So have boundaries that you feel comfortable
- 27:35Speaker 5: with and don't compromise them just for the clicks.
- 27:38Speaker 2: For the clicks.
- 27:38Speaker 6: Do you drink while you're potty?
- 27:40Speaker 8: I don't, Okay, So maybe we need to tone it
- 27:43Speaker 8: back a little bit because once we get started, oh
- 27:46Speaker 8: eighty takes time.
- 27:47Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, I mean I'm drinking on this show, so
- 27:50Speaker 6: we'll see how that goes.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Drink on my show.
- 27:54Speaker 5: I'm also shooting in that afternoon, not on like a Tuesday,
- 27:56Speaker 5: so it's not really drink time.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's five to you everywhere.
- 28:00Speaker 6: Yeah that's true.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Actually, before you leave, real quick, I'm sorry I didn't
- 28:03Speaker 1: bring this up. Shouts to two personal show joys on
- 28:05Speaker 1: the show. She does as well. Y'all talked about you
- 28:07Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. If your boyfriend is still left
- 28:11Speaker 1: on good times with the X and they still communicate,
- 28:13Speaker 1: is that okay?
- 28:14Speaker 2: Or is that bad? Be how you feel about that?
- 28:16Speaker 4: Can your ex, I mean, can your currency be cool?
- 28:18Speaker 4: Is is X no?
- 28:19Speaker 1: For what they get in no good terms? Just mature,
- 28:21Speaker 1: they're adults, you know what I'm saying. They had a
- 28:22Speaker 1: good time together. Now they just communicate, checking on each
- 28:24Speaker 1: other's That okay on.
- 28:25Speaker 8: Good terms means that if we see it out in public,
- 28:27Speaker 8: it's okay to wave at them. Communicating with them.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Still, No, so she can't tell me happy birthday.
- 28:32Speaker 6: No, I tell my man happy birthday. You don't have
- 28:34Speaker 6: to wish them nothing.
- 28:35Speaker 2: You are the birthday. No what they say. Her birthdays
- 28:40Speaker 2: may be different. Her birthday was better everyone.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I mean, she got me so a little bit better.
- 28:48Speaker 2: You got was going towards.
- 28:50Speaker 6: The kid worried about?
- 28:53Speaker 2: How do you feel about that?
- 28:55Speaker 5: I think every relationship and every situation is different. I
- 29:00Speaker 5: think there are certain exces I wouldn't be cool with
- 29:04Speaker 5: and some I probably just wouldn't care about. I'm not
- 29:07Speaker 5: a very like I'm not really like an ownership person,
- 29:11Speaker 5: and I am very big on.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Like trust and respect.
- 29:16Speaker 5: So if I don't really fully trust you, I can't
- 29:19Speaker 5: be with you. And if I don't respect you, there's
- 29:21Speaker 5: no way I can be with you. So if you're
- 29:23Speaker 5: gonna disrespect me, it doesn't matter how many clamps I
- 29:26Speaker 5: put on you, You're gonna do it.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Anyway.
- 29:28Speaker 5: So I actually feel more comfortable with someone who's like, oh,
- 29:32Speaker 5: you know someone, so text me happy birthday or whatever,
- 29:34Speaker 5: like or not even knowing, like if just if it's like, Okay,
- 29:37Speaker 5: you're cool with that person, thank.
- 29:38Speaker 6: You, move on with your with your day.
- 29:40Speaker 5: I'm not really like a territorial person because I can't.
- 29:44Speaker 5: I can't deal with one percent of jealousy. I can't
- 29:47Speaker 5: deal with a man that's jealous. It's like, not only
- 29:50Speaker 5: is it super unattracted to me, it's it just pisses
- 29:54Speaker 5: me off.
- 29:54Speaker 6: And I can't.
- 29:56Speaker 5: I got like two modes like cool and absolutely not cool,
- 30:00Speaker 5: great area at all, And I just do too much
- 30:03Speaker 5: to deal with someone who's insecure. It also, and I
- 30:05Speaker 5: can't control someone texting me. And I'm not about to
- 30:08Speaker 5: be like.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Don't, don't fucking text me. I got a man.
- 30:12Speaker 6: I'm not doing that.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Every time you say that, text it definitely text me
- 30:15Speaker 1: for sure. Anytime they said that, don't text me, I
- 30:17Speaker 1: got a man. That means tectulator.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Jealousy is.
- 30:30Speaker 6: It's not a good vibe, it's not a good energy.
- 30:33Speaker 5: But but for some people, like some people are codependent
- 30:36Speaker 5: or some people just you know, have their boundaries which
- 30:38Speaker 5: which I get. Everyone is very diff I realized over
- 30:42Speaker 5: the past couple of years, I don't know what's going
- 30:43Speaker 5: on over here.
- 30:43Speaker 6: I don't think I.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Don't don't worry about.
- 30:47Speaker 2: This. They get in trouble.
- 30:53Speaker 5: I realized that I'm probably more of an unconventional relationship person.
- 30:57Speaker 6: My relationship takes are extremely unpopular.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Shout to yours.
- 31:02Speaker 6: I don't think it's wild at all.
- 31:04Speaker 5: But my my absolute most unpopular take is that I
- 31:08Speaker 5: if I date a man, I want him to have
- 31:11Speaker 5: some female friends.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Oh, I like, that's that's good. Why is that though?
- 31:18Speaker 6: Well?
- 31:20Speaker 5: One, because I want to know that there are women
- 31:24Speaker 5: that you have known for a certain amount of time
- 31:26Speaker 5: who feel comfortable being around you without you preying on
- 31:31Speaker 5: them or wanting something from them or trying to sleep
- 31:34Speaker 5: with them. So you have the capacity to see women
- 31:36Speaker 5: as more than just sex or your family or someone
- 31:41Speaker 5: that works for you, like, oh, I got girl, cousins,
- 31:46Speaker 5: I got you. You're not ever trying to fuck your
- 31:52Speaker 5: cousins or your sisters or your mom or your aunties
- 31:54Speaker 5: like that doesn't count. Of course you love them, that's
- 31:57Speaker 5: your family. And then they'll be like, oh, well, my secretary,
- 32:00Speaker 5: you're like you know so and so that works at
- 32:02Speaker 5: the bank, Like that's your coworker.
- 32:04Speaker 6: Yeah, barb, oh, barb Barbie.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Okay, it's like yeah, like Barb, that works with you
- 32:09Speaker 5: at the bank. Those are your notes, not that that
- 32:14Speaker 5: doesn't count like those those are those have boundaries. I'm saying, like, you,
- 32:18Speaker 5: you have a friend from high school that you're cool
- 32:20Speaker 5: with that has seen you through different parts of your life.
- 32:23Speaker 5: You respect her opinion, and you're not trying to fuck her, Like,
- 32:26Speaker 5: I think that's a good character trait for a man
- 32:28Speaker 5: to have. I want to know that he respects and
- 32:31Speaker 5: cares about women. I want to know women feel safe
- 32:34Speaker 5: around him, like not for nothing, but a lot of men,
- 32:38Speaker 5: not all. A lot of men are unsafe like they
- 32:42Speaker 5: are they don't treat women well, they're only trying to
- 32:44Speaker 5: sleep with them. And also I've had some experiences with
- 32:47Speaker 5: men who do not have any female friends whatsoever, They
- 32:49Speaker 5: have no women around them, that are nightmares, Like they're
- 32:54Speaker 5: kind of the worst, scary spooky, they're scary spooky, Like
- 32:57Speaker 5: why can't you be around women without We're just okay,
- 33:01Speaker 5: like this take a.
- 33:02Speaker 9: Beat that he has had sexual interactions.
- 33:13Speaker 2: With with, then.
- 33:17Speaker 6: I mean, I think again, I think it depends on
- 33:20Speaker 6: the situation.
- 33:20Speaker 5: But I feel like at my age and like everything
- 33:25Speaker 5: that I've been through an experience, I can kind of
- 33:28Speaker 5: tell if somebody is on some other ship or not.
- 33:31Speaker 5: So you know, if you are, then that's that's what
- 33:34Speaker 5: you want to do. I'll find out, I'll leave you.
- 33:36Speaker 5: It's you know, life goes on.
- 33:37Speaker 2: But I do think.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Like that whole, like, oh, I'm friends with them because
- 33:43Speaker 5: I'm trying to get with them, like not for nothing.
- 33:45Speaker 6: That's that ship lames do.
- 33:46Speaker 5: I'm sorry, Like, I'm sorry if you're involved in that
- 33:49Speaker 5: kind of situation. But like if you're a girl that
- 33:51Speaker 5: has to pretend to be friends with the man to
- 33:53Speaker 5: try and get.
- 33:54Speaker 2: With him, you're a lame.
- 33:55Speaker 5: And if you're a man who's like just waiting around
- 33:58Speaker 5: a woman to like get her to notice you, you're
- 34:00Speaker 5: a lame.
- 34:01Speaker 6: Like that's that's not in my blood. So I don't.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I can't.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Really you always niggas out there trying to wait it out.
- 34:07Speaker 1: It's like that's nasty. That's nasty. It's nasty.
- 34:12Speaker 2: So it's cool to have friends, nothing wrong with it.
- 34:15Speaker 2: If you ain't touching them and.
- 34:16Speaker 5: They don't, you just want some other perspective, like I
- 34:19Speaker 5: actually feel like I get great perspective on business, on
- 34:24Speaker 5: moving around, certain situations, on places I would never be
- 34:27Speaker 5: in because men are there, on dating, like on being
- 34:32Speaker 5: a father, like all kinds of ship that you can
- 34:34Speaker 5: That's why.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I draw the line, though, I fuck with that, but
- 34:37Speaker 2: I'm saying, like I would never tell one of my
- 34:39Speaker 2: female friends about my relationship.
- 34:41Speaker 6: Oh no, no, no, I totally agree. I don't. I don't,
- 34:44Speaker 6: I don't. I don't think you should do that.
- 34:46Speaker 2: We keep that so I don't think you should do
- 34:48Speaker 2: that with because if.
- 34:49Speaker 5: You say something wrong, but now you should have boundaries.
- 34:58Speaker 5: For sure, you have to have boundaries in intersex friendships.
- 35:03Speaker 5: You have to have boundaries. I fully believe that, Like
- 35:05Speaker 5: there's certain shit you shouldn't talk about. But I also
- 35:07Speaker 5: feel like, if you're married, you shouldn't be talking to
- 35:09Speaker 5: really nobody about your relationship, like maybe one friend you
- 35:13Speaker 5: wented and it got to be about light ship like
- 35:16Speaker 5: your marriage or a very serious relationship.
- 35:19Speaker 6: You can't be, you know, bitching to your mom.
- 35:22Speaker 5: You can't be talking to your friends like it introduces
- 35:26Speaker 5: an element to your relationship that you cannot undo.
- 35:29Speaker 1: And we at hell you can't said Man tapping spots
- 35:33Speaker 1: on somewhere Beat. We appreciate I try to make Barbie
- 35:35Speaker 1: like my homegirl, but she get better she likes I
- 35:42Speaker 1: was like, man, I've been thinking, I'm trying, like, go
- 35:45Speaker 1: to All Stars tonight. She don't want you to be
- 35:50Speaker 1: great at all. You've been a part of some letendary shows.
- 35:55Speaker 1: First things First, being part of one of the best
- 35:57Speaker 1: shows on TV for a long time period.
- 35:58Speaker 2: What was that, like, Man Disputed?
- 36:02Speaker 5: Undisputed was Man? That was so long ago, it feels
- 36:05Speaker 5: like it's ten years ago. It was a really great
- 36:10Speaker 5: experience for me. It was my first network television show,
- 36:14Speaker 5: full time. I had done some work with CBS but
- 36:18Speaker 5: in Miami, but you know, full Time obviously, and it
- 36:20Speaker 5: was a huge network launch. It was a big deal
- 36:24Speaker 5: because that Skip had just left ESPN and Shannon obviously
- 36:27Speaker 5: hadn't done that type of television before, so it was
- 36:32Speaker 5: a big launch for the network. So being a part
- 36:34Speaker 5: of that was cool, just making commercials, doing a whole rollout,
- 36:39Speaker 5: and the expectations of people had for the show because
- 36:41Speaker 5: everyone was watching, like everyone wanted to see how it
- 36:43Speaker 5: would do. How would Skip do without stephen A. What
- 36:46Speaker 5: was Shannon going to be like. And you know, we
- 36:49Speaker 5: traveled a lot. We were all over the country, NBA Finals,
- 36:52Speaker 5: super Bowl, Yeah, McGregor, Mayweather US Open, so many different places,
- 36:57Speaker 5: and doing live shows of that Magazude with the live
- 37:00Speaker 5: audience was just a crazy experience and why I had
- 37:03Speaker 5: done radio for years before that. It was a whole
- 37:07Speaker 5: like another step up of doing live stuff and just
- 37:10Speaker 5: the expectations from it. But it taught me a lot.
- 37:13Speaker 5: I mean, Skip obviously notoriously has his quirks about him
- 37:17Speaker 5: not resetting his clocks, and you know, he's just a
- 37:20Speaker 5: very regimented person and had high expectations of everyone, which
- 37:26Speaker 5: really taught me how to be disciplined because I was
- 37:28Speaker 5: not going to be late, Like, I was not going
- 37:30Speaker 5: to be the I was.
- 37:30Speaker 6: Not going to be the trouble on that show.
- 37:33Speaker 5: And it was intentional on my end to really be prepared,
- 37:38Speaker 5: really work hard at the show, work hard at that position.
- 37:42Speaker 5: And I've always found like in any new position, doing
- 37:46Speaker 5: the work first and getting getting to like an expert
- 37:49Speaker 5: level at your role almost always grants you the opportunity
- 37:55Speaker 5: to expand. So I think sometimes like when we get opportunity,
- 38:00Speaker 5: we think we're.
- 38:01Speaker 6: Better than we are at it.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Like if you'd have told me at twenty two, like
- 38:05Speaker 5: you to ask me if I could do that show,
- 38:06Speaker 5: I'd be like, yeah, for sure, there's no fucking way.
- 38:09Speaker 5: Like you have the you have the delirious confidence that
- 38:12Speaker 5: you can do anything, and so you get there and
- 38:14Speaker 5: you're like, fuck, I do not have the skills for this.
- 38:17Speaker 5: But if you do an excellent job at it, the
- 38:19Speaker 5: people who are experts then start to trust you and
- 38:22Speaker 5: they know that you're willing to like do the work
- 38:25Speaker 5: to expand in it.
- 38:25Speaker 6: Like Skip wasn't sure that he.
- 38:27Speaker 5: Wanted me for that role, because being a moderator is
- 38:29Speaker 5: a very very specific job. It's all the lights are
- 38:32Speaker 5: on you, but you're not necessarily the voice, but it's
- 38:35Speaker 5: very important, like if you let the conversation go off
- 38:38Speaker 5: the rails or you're not getting to break on time,
- 38:40Speaker 5: and like there's there's a lot of technical work that
- 38:42Speaker 5: goes into that earpiece.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Tell you to go to commercial and you try to
- 38:46Speaker 4: get some people.
- 38:46Speaker 5: To stop wrap up and then you got to then
- 38:48Speaker 5: you sound rude because you're cutting them off, like you
- 38:51Speaker 5: got to have their respect to know, like, hey guys,
- 38:53Speaker 5: we got we got to end it here all that's
- 38:56Speaker 5: like behind the scenes stuff that seems very easy, but
- 39:00Speaker 5: you know, you're dealing with big egos and people want
- 39:02Speaker 5: to get the last word, and so there's a lot
- 39:04Speaker 5: of dynamics that go into doing it. And Skip wasn't
- 39:07Speaker 5: sure if I could do it because I was coming
- 39:10Speaker 5: from the radio side where I'm doing four hours of
- 39:12Speaker 5: morning drive radio on my own.
- 39:14Speaker 6: Show, Like that's a lot of talking. That's a big
- 39:17Speaker 6: voice to happen.
- 39:17Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, to then move to that position where it's
- 39:20Speaker 5: important but you're not necessarily talking. And I told him,
- 39:24Speaker 5: I was like, I know what the show will lead to,
- 39:26Speaker 5: and I know like the opportunity that it is. So
- 39:28Speaker 5: I'm going to do the job that is assigned to me,
- 39:31Speaker 5: like I'm not going to force myself into the show,
- 39:33Speaker 5: and when it feels right and when it works, I'll
- 39:36Speaker 5: get my opportunity. And that's that's how it grew. So
- 39:39Speaker 5: that's how I've always treated those jobs, and it really
- 39:41Speaker 5: worked out for me. It was a great experience.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Man.
- 39:43Speaker 1: You know how you have the game onm with just
- 39:45Speaker 1: a few friends, always really kind of background noise, and
- 39:47Speaker 1: then dang, something crazy happens, a big play or momentum
- 39:50Speaker 1: shift it changed the whole stakes of the game.
- 39:52Speaker 4: Next thing, you know, everybody in the party locked in.
- 39:54Speaker 3: That's where Amazon problem comes in, because once that right
- 39:56Speaker 3: moment hits, you want to go all in.
- 39:58Speaker 2: We've had nice like that. I wants the excitement bills,
- 40:01Speaker 2: you want the environment to master the vibe, snacks, drinks,
- 40:03Speaker 2: party supplies, maybe a jersey or even a new soundbar
- 40:06Speaker 2: to make it feel like you're really at the game.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Everything takes it from a casual night to a real
- 40:10Speaker 2: watch party.
- 40:11Speaker 3: Man.
- 40:11Speaker 1: With the same day delivery, you can get those game
- 40:13Speaker 1: day essentials. You need the time to still make the night.
- 40:15Speaker 1: You ain't got to call it earlier. You ain't got
- 40:16Speaker 1: to go down the street or watch the game somewhere else.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Let you go all in and turn the laid back
- 40:20Speaker 1: hang out into a night everybody remembers.
- 40:22Speaker 3: That's what I like about Prome. It makes it easier
- 40:25Speaker 3: to say yes right when the moment shows up.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Same day delivery, it's on Prime available and selected areas
- 40:30Speaker 2: terms apply. Visit Amazon dot com slash prom to find
- 40:33Speaker 2: meals or items deliver fast.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Yeah, hell of a show for sure. I want to
- 40:38Speaker 1: ask you this oppositely. Somebody's been in the field for
- 40:40Speaker 1: a long time. You think shows like First Taken Undisputed.
- 40:43Speaker 1: A lot of people attribute those shows for ruining sports media,
- 40:46Speaker 1: or player podcasts for morning sports media. You think that
- 40:49Speaker 1: chores has been an evolution of how things are conveyed
- 40:51Speaker 1: in media is given the people now.
- 40:54Speaker 6: I think it was an inevitable journey.
- 40:57Speaker 5: So sports and news kind of follow along the same line.
- 41:02Speaker 5: They're the last thing that we watched live. Like, if
- 41:04Speaker 5: there's some huge emergency in the city, yeah, you might
- 41:08Speaker 5: go to social media to check it out, but you're
- 41:10Speaker 5: probably going to check in with your local news to
- 41:12Speaker 5: see what's happening. If there's a big international event or
- 41:17Speaker 5: something like, you know, God forbid a terror attack or
- 41:19Speaker 5: something like, you're going to the news and you want
- 41:21Speaker 5: to get the live information. It's the same thing with sports.
- 41:25Speaker 5: It's the last thing that we watch live. Everything else
- 41:28Speaker 5: is on demand, everything else is on the internet. It's
- 41:32Speaker 5: on our own time. And that shift happened in sports
- 41:36Speaker 5: at the same time it happened to news because you
- 41:38Speaker 5: used to have to be in front of the news
- 41:40Speaker 5: to get the news. You used to have to be
- 41:42Speaker 5: in front of Sports center to get the highlights. Once
- 41:44Speaker 5: we were able to get them on the phone. The
- 41:46Speaker 5: natural evolution of the consumer became, well, I want to
- 41:49Speaker 5: know what people think about it now, and because news
- 41:53Speaker 5: shows like Fox News and CNN were explode, like this
- 41:57Speaker 5: was all happening really when I was in college, not
- 42:01Speaker 5: so long.
- 42:03Speaker 6: A long time ago. It was a long time agoe.
- 42:10Speaker 5: I I graduated high school before, so you've been out
- 42:17Speaker 5: of college by eighteen years.
- 42:20Speaker 6: It's all googleble.
- 42:24Speaker 5: It was happening when I was in college, and I
- 42:25Speaker 5: always wanted to be a personality, but it's why I
- 42:28Speaker 5: went into radio, because I wanted to get the skill
- 42:30Speaker 5: set to be able to do the shows that I'm
- 42:33Speaker 5: doing now, and long form, you know, talking was really
- 42:38Speaker 5: only available on radio at that time. These shows didn't exist,
- 42:42Speaker 5: podcasts didn't exist. But the point is the consumer kind
- 42:46Speaker 5: of created that, Like you didn't have to watch sports anymore.
- 42:50Speaker 5: You could get the highlight, you can get the stats,
- 42:51Speaker 5: you can get the reaction on your phone instantly, So
- 42:54Speaker 5: now I want to know what people think. News was
- 42:57Speaker 5: already doing it at a really high level and that's
- 42:59Speaker 5: where people were going and they were getting outrageous ratings.
- 43:03Speaker 5: So sports kind of mirroring the things that we watched
- 43:06Speaker 5: live went in the same direction. Also, I think that
- 43:10Speaker 5: sports conversations have always been like this, like this is
- 43:13Speaker 5: how we have always sat around and talked about sports.
- 43:16Speaker 6: Yes, so it just got translated to TV.
- 43:21Speaker 5: And when it gets to the network level or the
- 43:23Speaker 5: national level, you're going to talk about the Cowboys, You're
- 43:25Speaker 5: going to talk about Lebron, You're going to talk about controversy,
- 43:29Speaker 5: You're going to talk about the things that most people
- 43:31Speaker 5: are talking about. And so I can't say that it
- 43:35Speaker 5: ruins sports television. I think sports television and television in
- 43:38Speaker 5: general changed. This is a really long answer, technical inside
- 43:42Speaker 5: baseball answer, but I.
- 43:46Speaker 6: Do think it's changed again.
- 43:48Speaker 5: Like I think panel shows are what people want now.
- 43:51Speaker 5: People want multiple perspectives. They don't necessarily want to see
- 43:54Speaker 5: two people arguing across from each other.
- 43:57Speaker 6: So I think it's changed again.
- 44:00Speaker 2: No podcast them there is like the I don't know.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I just think even athletes more of a voice to
- 44:07Speaker 2: speak on what's real instead of like Skipp and Shannon
- 44:10Speaker 2: just going at it and just that is what it is.
- 44:12Speaker 5: Yeah, take that for And athletes have a perspective obviously
- 44:17Speaker 5: that people who haven't played do not have. But you
- 44:20Speaker 5: also need entertainment. You need fun, you need somebody to
- 44:24Speaker 5: move the conversation around. So I think it's just evolved,
- 44:27Speaker 5: and I love the athletes are in the space now.
- 44:30Speaker 5: It should never have been this crusty old media guy
- 44:33Speaker 5: decides what someone's story is fact, Like, that's that's bullshit.
- 44:37Speaker 5: You know, I'll never forgive baseball Barry Bonds is, like,
- 44:42Speaker 5: what are we talking about?
- 44:46Speaker 2: Because it was rude to you?
- 44:49Speaker 6: Who you are? Crust the old keeper of the gate bullshit.
- 44:55Speaker 6: So I think if more voices are always.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Better, that's always Like I could go to school, I
- 45:00Speaker 1: could study, I could watch some my odds.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Blee.
- 45:02Speaker 1: I can never tell you more basketball than JEFC. Like,
- 45:04Speaker 1: that's just not what it is. Somebody who lived his life,
- 45:06Speaker 1: who played in his life. There's nothing you can say
- 45:08Speaker 1: to somebody who went through those things, even though you
- 45:10Speaker 1: can love it and study it.
- 45:11Speaker 4: It's just a total difference that people just have to
- 45:13Speaker 4: respect as well.
- 45:14Speaker 5: Yeah, but opinions or opinions like I don't if he's like,
- 45:19Speaker 5: this is what it is, that's what it is. But
- 45:23Speaker 5: if we're you know, having a conversation about what do
- 45:25Speaker 5: you think about this, I can have my opinion opinion
- 45:28Speaker 5: if it's.
- 45:28Speaker 6: A completely unprovable thing and we're just talking about it.
- 45:31Speaker 2: I think a lot of people like stan Vein gonna
- 45:33Speaker 2: know the game for sure. Yeah yeah, like he knows.
- 45:37Speaker 2: I love staying on the call, so him and Jeff
- 45:39Speaker 2: can have a real life ball talk and it don't
- 45:41Speaker 2: feel no way no, because he'd been in the trenches
- 45:43Speaker 2: with me. Yeah yeah, so that'd be like the difference
- 45:46Speaker 2: I feel like, But.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Then you have to do who's just the basketball nerd
- 45:49Speaker 1: talking about advanced stats? And it's like, Bro, you can't
- 45:51Speaker 1: say nothing to these people who done do this at
- 45:52Speaker 1: a level that you can never fathom.
- 45:53Speaker 4: Bro, the conversation is totally different.
- 45:56Speaker 2: I think that's to disconnect too. I think players respect
- 45:58Speaker 2: the coaches, it's just the people that they know ain't
- 46:00Speaker 2: even been a part of their game, football or whatever
- 46:03Speaker 2: that they feel a way about when they say some
- 46:05Speaker 2: crazy shit.
- 46:05Speaker 6: And I also think people like, your opinion is not
- 46:08Speaker 6: a fact.
- 46:09Speaker 5: Yeah, Like you can you can say like, based off
- 46:12Speaker 5: of the information I have, the games that I've watched,
- 46:15Speaker 5: the experience that I've had around the game, this is
- 46:17Speaker 5: my opinion about this. But I think sometimes people get
- 46:20Speaker 5: egotistical about their opinion, like this is what it is.
- 46:25Speaker 6: That's not how facts work. You her opinion is not
- 46:29Speaker 6: a fact.
- 46:29Speaker 5: And I think when you start talking about your opinion
- 46:31Speaker 5: like it is a fact, or you start being disrespectful,
- 46:34Speaker 5: then it's hard.
- 46:35Speaker 6: For players, for sure, to take you seriously.
- 46:37Speaker 5: But I also think at some point you lose the
- 46:39Speaker 5: audience too, because you're speaking in such absolutes that it's like,
- 46:42Speaker 5: we know you've never played the game, we know what
- 46:45Speaker 5: your resume is, and you're talking about people that even
- 46:50Speaker 5: if you're the worst player in the I'm sorry you're
- 46:52Speaker 5: the worst player in the league.
- 46:55Speaker 2: The worst player in the league.
- 46:56Speaker 6: Will cook you the worst.
- 46:59Speaker 5: I think you're talking about people like their bums, like
- 47:02Speaker 5: these are the one percent of the one percent.
- 47:04Speaker 6: Just put a little respect. You got too much base
- 47:05Speaker 6: in your voice.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Fat Yeah, I feel that too, But I feel like
- 47:09Speaker 2: athletes do too. Like when we just talk about rap,
- 47:12Speaker 2: you ain't never raped, and it could get into a
- 47:14Speaker 2: heated argument. No, motherfucker jay Z is better than Biggie,
- 47:18Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. People do have this. That's
- 47:20Speaker 2: my opinion, and yeah, people are still human at the
- 47:22Speaker 2: end of the day. That's why I don't harm too
- 47:23Speaker 2: much on them, Like people pick and choose what they
- 47:26Speaker 2: really care about.
- 47:27Speaker 3: We was talking to that saying, Olmo, she said that
- 47:29Speaker 3: like Kareem in them year, it didn't matter, this is
- 47:31Speaker 3: this is They said, Kareem is to go, but like
- 47:34Speaker 3: the rest of the team like.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Matter. Yeah, And I was like, damn, that's crazy. You
- 47:40Speaker 2: said that. I played.
- 47:44Speaker 3: I know how harder to be in that locker room
- 47:46Speaker 3: And do you just say that like karm matter?
- 47:49Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 47:50Speaker 5: The reason I'm at peace with this slander is all
- 47:53Speaker 5: of it that's recorded, Like we have mics on the
- 47:55Speaker 5: whole time you had this conversation.
- 47:56Speaker 2: So, so, how do you feel about Kareem Zero?
- 47:58Speaker 5: I actually think, well, Kareem's eras, but but Kareem specifically,
- 48:09Speaker 5: I actually think Kareem, if we were all keeping it funky,
- 48:14Speaker 5: Kareem is probably the goat, Like it probably starts with
- 48:19Speaker 5: Kareem and then we could go to everybody else better
- 48:22Speaker 5: than Joker.
- 48:23Speaker 3: He is.
- 48:25Speaker 6: He was great his entire life.
- 48:29Speaker 4: High school, college.
- 48:30Speaker 5: NBA champion, everywhere he went, could play in any era.
- 48:34Speaker 2: What about his teammates? What about seamates? Are they just
- 48:38Speaker 2: as good? Like? Could they play in any era?
- 48:41Speaker 6: I mean magic could? But sure like that doesn't that
- 48:47Speaker 6: speak to the greatness of Kareem.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he is.
- 48:53Speaker 5: I think we skipped over him. It's all I'm saying.
- 48:55Speaker 5: He's trying to make it seem like I was, like
- 48:56Speaker 5: Kareem want Ship.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Said that erat he cleaned that. I'm talking about the era.
- 49:04Speaker 2: How do you feel, tell your truth about the era?
- 49:06Speaker 1: How we fight the old heads? Yeah, because we bring
- 49:08Speaker 1: up Bill Russell. He got leftings, don't get eighties on down.
- 49:12Speaker 4: I'm sleep, I'm sleep respect.
- 49:17Speaker 6: I mean, is Bill Russell the greatest player of all time?
- 49:22Speaker 2: No?
- 49:22Speaker 5: I mean that's how do you No, I don't think
- 49:25Speaker 5: Bill Russell's the greatest player of all time.
- 49:26Speaker 6: I think it's an incredible player.
- 49:31Speaker 2: I'm just We're just fine.
- 49:33Speaker 5: I'm just thing to put me in. I think I
- 49:41Speaker 5: think every era is important to the history of the game.
- 49:43Speaker 5: I'm not being I'm not I'm not trying to be
- 49:46Speaker 5: political about it. I really do think it's it's almost
- 49:48Speaker 5: impossible to compare eras.
- 49:50Speaker 6: We're talking about food, training, just.
- 49:54Speaker 2: The athleticism, athletics, civil rights. They were smoke cigarettes and
- 50:00Speaker 2: like cigarette right now, Yeah, halftime.
- 50:11Speaker 1: If you smoke a newport and halftime we get thirty
- 50:14Speaker 1: you co I actually.
- 50:15Speaker 5: Would respect for sure if I had to smoke an
- 50:19Speaker 5: entire cigarette or now, it would be my last day
- 50:21Speaker 5: on the service.
- 50:22Speaker 1: There's no way she liked the era of like Charles Oakley,
- 50:26Speaker 1: though I do.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Early nineties.
- 50:30Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean that's not I enjoy.
- 50:33Speaker 5: I think it's a better game, my better product, now
- 50:36Speaker 5: I should say, but you know, I like the little animosity. Yeah,
- 50:40Speaker 5: it was real rivalries that Yes, that that part I
- 50:45Speaker 5: think is important. I think villains are very very important
- 50:48Speaker 5: to any game. I think you need people to root against.
- 50:50Speaker 6: And I get it. There's a lot of money on
- 50:52Speaker 6: the line.
- 50:52Speaker 5: If you're telling me, look, you got to get your
- 50:56Speaker 5: ship together, because it's gonna be the difference between five
- 50:58Speaker 5: hundred million and seventy million. I am what type of
- 51:03Speaker 5: square would you like me to be today? Yes, I'm
- 51:06Speaker 5: not saying shit, I will.
- 51:07Speaker 2: I will. Yeah, yes, so I get it.
- 51:12Speaker 5: But I do appreciate when someone is willing to be
- 51:16Speaker 5: a villain because we need them, we need and not
- 51:19Speaker 5: because people compile on them. It's because you need stories,
- 51:23Speaker 5: and you need people to root against, and you need
- 51:25Speaker 5: to be able to overcome. Like everything for a while
- 51:29Speaker 5: felt very watered down and if you're not just a
- 51:33Speaker 5: rabid fan like I like, okay, you hate this scene,
- 51:35Speaker 5: why do you hate them? Well, I've just always hated them,
- 51:37Speaker 5: like you hate any of the current players, and not
- 51:40Speaker 5: hate like actually hate you. I feel like it's basically
- 51:45Speaker 5: I even have to explain rivalries anymore.
- 51:46Speaker 7: But it's like it's.
- 51:47Speaker 6: Just not it's not the same.
- 51:51Speaker 5: Now we we were talking about a little bit that
- 51:53Speaker 5: I think Wemby really stepped into his villain era very quickly.
- 51:56Speaker 5: He went from the darling to the villain like just like.
- 51:58Speaker 1: That, andt he wile out. I hope he gets ten text.
- 52:01Speaker 1: I hope he started elbowing people in the face. Bro,
- 52:03Speaker 1: it's Tom Bro be the villain you deserve to be.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Bro. I think Jayleen Brown is about to be one.
- 52:08Speaker 3: I think Jaylen Brown would be a villain He'll turn
- 52:11Speaker 3: I like this art I'm rolling.
- 52:12Speaker 2: I think Jayleen Brown is really about to step into that.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Y'all got me fucked up.
- 52:16Speaker 6: I yeah, I could see that.
- 52:17Speaker 5: I I mean, I guess I like him there so,
- 52:21Speaker 5: but Philly is like an easy place to be a
- 52:23Speaker 5: villain for everyone else, Like Philly will stam behind you
- 52:27Speaker 5: if you're winning and you ride for Philly. They'll turn
- 52:30Speaker 5: on you if you lose at all, but immediately immediately.
- 52:35Speaker 5: But I do think it's a good place to be
- 52:37Speaker 5: a villain, Like you'll be supported by the fan base there.
- 52:40Speaker 5: It feels a little funny to be a villain as
- 52:42Speaker 5: a spur because they just like.
- 52:45Speaker 6: I haven't really got them. But I do think he
- 52:47Speaker 6: stepped into it though I think it. I think it
- 52:49Speaker 6: suits him. I think Ann has the ability to be
- 52:53Speaker 6: a villain.
- 52:53Speaker 5: I mean, he's obviously so well liked, but he you know,
- 52:57Speaker 5: he talks his shit and he has a very aggressive
- 53:01Speaker 5: style about him that I think suits that very well.
- 53:04Speaker 5: It's it's good like talk a little ship and just
- 53:06Speaker 5: not don't apologize for it.
- 53:08Speaker 1: But you know, I don't like I hate when people
- 53:09Speaker 1: try to be the villain. You know, it's clearly not
- 53:11Speaker 1: cut off for them. Like even like the Lebroars in Miami,
- 53:14Speaker 1: and he was a fake villain. It's like, Lebron, you're
- 53:15Speaker 1: not a villain, bro, Like you one of the most
- 53:17Speaker 1: love people on this ar Bro.
- 53:18Speaker 2: But that bro, because I feel like he had to be.
- 53:21Speaker 2: There's a lot of people that hate Lebron.
- 53:23Speaker 1: He faked Screwty Lebron, ain't Lebron. He had to be
- 53:26Speaker 1: hate love Bro.
- 53:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Bros. Lebron went to Miami.
- 53:31Speaker 6: They hated him that he had. But I don't think
- 53:33Speaker 6: being a villain suits Lebron. It doesn't suit him. But
- 53:36Speaker 6: he he was, he was for sure and it was
- 53:40Speaker 6: very silly. In hindsight, the whole thing is very silly.
- 53:42Speaker 2: John Moran too, if he come out and killed the Shuar,
- 53:45Speaker 2: I think he gonna protect that, Bro. John need to
- 53:48Speaker 2: be loved. Yeah, we need Job.
- 53:51Speaker 6: Very happy for John. I think it's a great, great
- 53:54Speaker 6: come out start for him.
- 53:55Speaker 2: I feel like everybody count him out.
- 53:57Speaker 3: We don't need him to be a villain though. John
- 53:59Speaker 3: needs to get all love, Paul. We need to run
- 54:01Speaker 3: back in the light. They are disrespecting the crowd.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Bro is one of the hardest things that was fired,
- 54:13Speaker 1: Bro Elite.
- 54:14Speaker 2: That's feeling material. We need it.
- 54:18Speaker 1: We need a real villain to be a square, not square,
- 54:21Speaker 1: just be love. We need a perception backgro because they
- 54:23Speaker 1: disrespected Job that too much. They make I want now
- 54:27Speaker 1: day need to be the villain.
- 54:28Speaker 2: A villain. A villain should state very well.
- 54:31Speaker 5: And if you think like villains, get like I'm not
- 54:36Speaker 5: saying in a way that you're a bad guy or
- 54:38Speaker 5: you're getting in.
- 54:39Speaker 4: Trouble off you're just wanting to say what people won't say.
- 54:42Speaker 6: Say what people won't say, stand on your ship, you know.
- 54:47Speaker 5: To me, basketball like, that's what basketball is. It's not
- 54:50Speaker 5: Football is a violent sport. You don't really need to
- 54:52Speaker 5: talk ship in football already running full speed into another human.
- 54:56Speaker 5: You already got four hundred pounds seven foot men blocking
- 55:00Speaker 5: each other, like you don't necessarily need the extra shit
- 55:04Speaker 5: on it.
- 55:04Speaker 2: You know.
- 55:05Speaker 5: It's like when they fight. You guys are hitting your
- 55:07Speaker 5: your you have a helmet on you already already violent.
- 55:12Speaker 5: Basketball to me, at its core, is so like it's contact,
- 55:17Speaker 5: it's aggressive, it's shit talking, it's.
- 55:21Speaker 6: I beat you, you beat me.
- 55:23Speaker 2: But it's it's.
- 55:23Speaker 5: Almost like a combat sport in a way, like at
- 55:26Speaker 5: the end where you just shake hands, like you just
- 55:27Speaker 5: beat the fuck out of each other, but then you
- 55:29Speaker 5: shake hands.
- 55:30Speaker 6: That to me is what basketball is.
- 55:32Speaker 5: And I do feel like over the past few years
- 55:34Speaker 5: it's lost a little bit of that and I would
- 55:36Speaker 5: like to see that back. So when I say, like
- 55:39Speaker 5: folks era like, yeah, obviously we can't go back to.
- 55:42Speaker 10: That, no, no, But you know, maybe close on of
- 55:45Speaker 10: people layout, but you know somebody in football, I think
- 55:49Speaker 10: he needs to start his villain ere Lamar Jackson been
- 55:53Speaker 10: disrespect They break them on that list.
- 55:55Speaker 3: It's fucking disrespect somebody who should have been closer to Lamarck.
- 56:00Speaker 4: Bro enough, Bro, it's too much land on his name.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Bro. I don't like when people get that comfortable disrespecting
- 56:05Speaker 1: some of our stars in these leagues because it's other
- 56:08Speaker 1: people who don't do half the ship or the accolades,
- 56:10Speaker 1: and they just get all the love just because somebody
- 56:12Speaker 1: quiet and the.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Love that shouldn't be getting that much love over Lamar Jackson.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Somebody who just a Herbert, Oh, justin Herbert. I mean
- 56:20Speaker 1: he's solid, but Bro, his fan base is a knacking
- 56:23Speaker 1: Jalen Hurbs. I'm not gonna respected. He got he got
- 56:27Speaker 1: it done, even though I don't think he's a better quarterback. Lamar,
- 56:30Speaker 1: he got to done. I don't disrespect Champson gets to
- 56:32Speaker 1: that point. But you know, my Philly hate is just
- 56:34Speaker 1: so much love justin Herbert fan based Lamar Jacks. Yeah,
- 56:37Speaker 1: there a campaign card that's the Derek White fan base
- 56:39Speaker 1: and said they had a better season than Jay Brow
- 56:41Speaker 1: that's the same game, just because they said Justin Herbert
- 56:49Speaker 1: is on his way with.
- 56:50Speaker 3: No respectful he nice though, he's good, good, but he's
- 56:54Speaker 3: not better lamar.
- 56:55Speaker 2: I don't compare him to Derek White.
- 56:58Speaker 4: The same people who said that was a Nicks bro tweet.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Out of everybody was on the USA team and was
- 57:07Speaker 1: Steve Curry. You're talking about put him on the corner.
- 57:11Speaker 2: Supposed to be arrested people. He said, straight to jail.
- 57:18Speaker 2: So Justin Herberts and jail. Okay, I like that.
- 57:22Speaker 5: Justin Herbert fans are disrespectful to the game. They take
- 57:27Speaker 5: it too far. Justin Herbert is an excellent player. He's
- 57:32Speaker 5: in a situation where he's had a lot of coaches,
- 57:35Speaker 5: a lot.
- 57:35Speaker 6: Of turnovers, turnover.
- 57:40Speaker 5: But that was a bar I think listen, I wish
- 57:43Speaker 5: Justin Herbert was in Miami, like very much. He's a very,
- 57:47Speaker 5: very talented quarterback. He at some point, you have to
- 57:52Speaker 5: be compared to your peers. At some point your talent
- 57:56Speaker 5: has to overcome at some point. I'm not saying you
- 57:58Speaker 5: should win a super Bowl. It's so fucking hard to
- 58:00Speaker 5: win a championship. Like we throw this ship out there,
- 58:03Speaker 5: Tom Brady mahomes like Lebron, not like they've spoiled us,
- 58:09Speaker 5: Like it's really really hard to do that.
- 58:12Speaker 3: I'm half he said Jeff t he was named he
- 58:17Speaker 3: that one's ship.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Bro, you know, championship, it was hard for me.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Nivers, you know shoes.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Like I'm here to support Bro put up fifty games
- 58:48Speaker 2: six h Comparing with Derick White is crazy, I am not.
- 58:51Speaker 2: It's the same fan based by the not disrespecting Derek.
- 58:54Speaker 5: I don't know how Derek White got in this put
- 58:57Speaker 5: I am saying Justin Herbert is a great player, but
- 59:00Speaker 5: I'm saying, at some point, you have to be compared
- 59:01Speaker 5: to your peers. If your peers are winning MVPs, if
- 59:04Speaker 5: your peers are winning super Bowl, you.
- 59:06Speaker 6: Can't be in the same. At some point you have
- 59:08Speaker 6: the time to do something.
- 59:11Speaker 4: Because he's not Caleb. To me, he's not Josh Allen.
- 59:14Speaker 2: He's not what happened.
- 59:17Speaker 4: He's not Caleb, that great quarterback up there in Chicago.
- 59:21Speaker 2: He cold.
- 59:23Speaker 4: I'm rolling with Caleb.
- 59:24Speaker 5: I think Caleb is. I'm really excited for what Caleb
- 59:27Speaker 5: is going to do in Chicago and.
- 59:28Speaker 3: For what's been given to both of those two gentlemen,
- 59:31Speaker 3: and what they've had.
- 59:31Speaker 2: I understand the turn of.
- 59:32Speaker 5: Chicago has done a Chicago for their history of doing nothing,
- 59:37Speaker 5: They've done a really good.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Job about But Jayson has some crazy teams.
- 59:42Speaker 1: And you look at some of their personnel too, especially
- 59:44Speaker 1: on the defensive side. I mean them Charters had some
- 59:48Speaker 1: some very good players.
- 59:51Speaker 5: I don't think it's an excuses for Justin Herbert. Like
- 59:53Speaker 5: Justin Herbert has to start winning playoff games.
- 59:55Speaker 6: That's it.
- 59:56Speaker 5: Caleb is on a trajectory that hopefully will bring a
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: championship to Chicago. But that that is what should be
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: expected of him, and I think he is. He is
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: now has the opportunity to step into that role bring it.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: Being a shipped to the to Indiana, Yes more baby that.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: Tony get the Bears tended on my rooting.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: About No, that's not for me.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: For me, I love he will love get off. But
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: where what you want to word?
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: I've been saying, like his value is going to be
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: so crazy. If he went the Super Bowl, Bro, it's
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: already crazy.
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: Well he did in the playoffs this last year, bro,
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: and then the loss was IMMACU.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Yeah he's turned Yeah.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: I asked you this, if you can start a franchise
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: right now, say the Stellers. You got the first pick,
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: you got the Steelers, and you can pick any player
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: in the league right now.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Who would you in the league right now?
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: I mean I'm taking Patrick Mahomes.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: You're still taking pet like right now? Yeah, yeah, going
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: to getst a guy. You're taking Pets uh N not
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: taking that?
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Gets the guy. I'm gonna get Miles Scare. You getting
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Miles Scared the first Yeah, listen, I we get a
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: quarter back.
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: You're getting fired. That makes sense, You're you're getting fired.
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: I need one of the best.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: Miles Scarrett is is absolutely should be favored to cheating.
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: They are cheating.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: Yes, they're not actually cheating, they're just better at everything
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: than everyone else.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: You think Aaron Donalds will come in, I don't.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: I honestly did not believe that that was a real thing.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: They're trying to figure it out because because Shaney was
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: saying that forever like he's he's definitely gonna come back,
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: and yeah, man, I.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Think he is like that.
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: There's so much noise around it.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Playing with them all mad and every single time camp,
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: it's my team, bro and.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: The Rams are an incredible I am kind of like
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: an organization, Nerd.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: The Rams are an incredible organization. McVeigh is a great
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: coach legend. The owner lets him do what he's supposed
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: to do.
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: He hires well, he brings in players, develops well, drafts well.
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: Like they're just a great organization. So that's an incredible move.
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: But you still get fired. You have to have a quarterback.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: I can get one. What you're doing on Mondays?
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: Mondays?
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: What are you doing a foot violence in the morning? Mondays?
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: At five in the morning, Like, yeah.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: What are you doing? Like six and the seven seven?
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: I am sleeping up to go to Pate'll call you.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Don't worry about it. I figure out what you do.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: You do that every Monday? Are you skip?
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: So no, no, are you guys trying to get me
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: to come on the show?
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Yeah? On the show?
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Okay, yeah for sure, contract man, we'll pay.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: I was like, yeah, it's like a chot.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: I don't know how much you know, saying we file
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: to right now.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Get it figured out.
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: But hold you guys don't have proper lighting in here.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: It looks good. Damn. I was joking. I might say, Wow,
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: who the fun hated a hord studio? It was seed
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: you over there on that screen so we can see
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: as far as it we got you. We'll come Georgia.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: I want my number? What's your number? Show two or
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: thirty three? Two or thirty three?
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: Well too, because I was always small, so too what
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: the number?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: I can? Yeah? Yeah, I never had my Remember you got.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: One hundred and fifty at the coach.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: That is nasty.
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: My brother were thirty three?
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Okay, brother was cold? How was it like growing up
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: in high school? But did y'all know he was going
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: to the NFL be I did not know.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: And he didn't really know either. He was a third
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: round pick in ninety seven. It's not it's a different
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: world now, like it was not. That was not a
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: guarantee that you're making the league. And he was going
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: to Jimmy Johnson, and I love Jimmy, but Jimmy was
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: wearing a cold fucking program.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: Like two days in the Miami Sun.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: Like Jay tells a story that he was like, I
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: don't know if I can do this to my mom
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: and she was like, oh, it's.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Cool, like you could come back and you like join
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: the military.
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: That damn that was My mom is like kind of
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: a she's really strategic about that.
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: She kind of did that to me too.
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: She knows her children where will complain about something or
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: be like, we're not going to do something, and she'll
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: be like, all.
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: Right, well do what you want.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: And it's kind of like, wait a minute, like all
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: that sounds that sounds like.
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: A bit shit, and then we don't do it.
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: But it's hard, like it was really hard to make
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: the league. It wasn't guarantee he was going to do this.
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: It's not like you're you know, you're obviously making a
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: lot of money, but not compared to what any of
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: the environment of college or the NFL is now. So no, definitely,
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: definitely not. But he works really hard and he was
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: undersized and use the speed and skill that he had
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: to really change the position in a lot of ways
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: because he was not highly touted at all, like everyone
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: thought he was going to be too small to play
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: the position. I remember the first time I met Jonathan Ogden,
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: who's the biggest person I've ever seen in my.
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: Life, and I was staring he was.
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: He was at my brother's charity event, and I was
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: just I couldn't stop staring at him, which is very
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: rude obviously, and He kind of was like, hey, are
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: you okay? And I was like, I'm sorry, You're just
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: like the biggest person I've ever seen. And he started
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: laughing at me, and I was like, I'm I just
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: think it's crazy, Like I'm worried about my brother because
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: I don't know what's wrong with him that he would
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: think he could line up on the other side of
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: a person that size and do anything.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I had that happened to me.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: Dwan Jones places for the Cleveland Oh yeah, he's our
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: young boy.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: He like six nine the NFL right now, they got
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: the biggest hands in the NFL.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: Yeah, And I was like, I can get around you.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: And he did that.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: That was at this size.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: Yeah he is.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: Now, this ain't no kid, this is this young boy nowhere.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: He did that. He didn't move his feet at all.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: He didn't move He just like, that's crazy.
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: Yeah, they're not human, They're not like the rest of us.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: Know.
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: It's it's crazy.
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: I mean, obviously, uh, he's a Hall of Famer on
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: the grade seven do it. But in fact, the they're
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: all that size. So for Jason, yeah, yes, now that's
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: now six eight three sevens.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he used to be over for a hundred.
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: Yeah, he's tossing you.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: It's levels for sure. Your brother and throw back Jersey
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: is golden.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: Come on, man, that's your joint.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: I remember TV cribs. I feel like he's Yeah. I said,
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: damn my money up.
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: I feel like they should bring it back. People don't.
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: I was just gonna say, people.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Don't shots to your brother.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Your person had real money. A lot of people have
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: fake house. This is a real life. Yes, this is
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: real life. It was like your brother Penny Hardaway.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: I think a fake house on like Man had the
