- 0:09Speaker 1: VI for sure, it's time. Hell, lo welcome to the
- 0:17Speaker 1: not even nice. I'm your host, Ram Shooter, and it
- 0:20Speaker 1: is Thursday, which means our dear friend Mark Luper joins us, Hey, Loopy,
- 0:24Speaker 1: are you there? Hey LUPI I like the change of
- 0:29Speaker 1: locations so while we record these shows, we can see
- 0:31Speaker 1: each other over zoom and normally I look out over
- 0:34Speaker 1: your beautiful beautiful. I think it's a park that you
- 0:38Speaker 1: look over. Market's so green. Today we're in the is
- 0:40Speaker 1: it a purple room? I like this room?
- 0:43Speaker 2: But in the office today it's a dark blue background
- 0:46Speaker 2: with a nice gallery wall on the back.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's nice. Mark, Honestly, If ever this podcasting business
- 0:53Speaker 1: does not work out for you, I think it will.
- 0:55Speaker 1: But if it doesn't go into interior design, you could
- 0:58Speaker 1: be one of the queer eyes. You really could be
- 1:01Speaker 1: one of those. It looks great, Thank you, Thank you,
- 1:04Speaker 1: looks great. Okay, let's jump into the show My Dame
- 1:06Speaker 1: is it? My Friends and tea time. Big story at
- 1:08Speaker 1: the top of the show. So Netflix is basically telling
- 1:11Speaker 1: Jillian Michaels a bring it. Let me explain. Jillian Michaels
- 1:16Speaker 1: is very angry with Netflix because they have a new
- 1:19Speaker 1: documentary act. It's a great documentary. It's called Fit for TV.
- 1:23Speaker 1: The Reality of the Biggest Loser. Well, if you remember,
- 1:27Speaker 1: The Biggest Loser was a massive show, very very popular.
- 1:31Speaker 1: However it has not aged well if you look at
- 1:34Speaker 1: a few clips, the episodes have sort of disappeared, but
- 1:37Speaker 1: there are some clips. They really bullied people who are overweight.
- 1:41Speaker 1: They fat shamed people. It's just the opposite of how
- 1:45Speaker 1: you deal with any any conversation about size, about way
- 1:50Speaker 1: we've changed, and I think as a society that's a
- 1:52Speaker 1: good thing. I remember twenty years ago laughing at American
- 1:57Speaker 1: Idol making fun of clearly mentally a person when they
- 2:01Speaker 1: went to audition member William Holme. She bangs, she bangs.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It was really funny. The whole nation left him. Remember
- 2:07Speaker 1: Susan Boyle, Oh my goodness. We were so cruel to her.
- 2:11Speaker 1: We were like gladiators, like killer killer, and then suddenly
- 2:15Speaker 1: she sang, and we're like, oh, it's okay now because
- 2:18Speaker 1: she's got a pretty voice. We like you now, Susan
- 2:20Speaker 1: because you can sing. But before she sang, we were like, boo,
- 2:24Speaker 1: she's disgusting, she's all I mean, we went crazy. Well,
- 2:28Speaker 1: the Biggest Loser has this legacy. I would argue housewives
- 2:32Speaker 1: are not going to stand up either. But in a
- 2:34Speaker 1: few years wait and see. So The Biggest Loser not
- 2:37Speaker 1: a great show. Now we all watched it, we all
- 2:39Speaker 1: enjoyed it back then, a terrible show. Let's be honest. Well,
- 2:42Speaker 1: they've done a documentary about it, and it's a really
- 2:44Speaker 1: telling documentary. It really really digs into those those fears
- 2:49Speaker 1: that we now know are true about that the show.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Gillian was offered a place on the documentary. Do you
- 2:56Speaker 1: want to be interviewed? She passed, She wanted no part
- 3:00Speaker 1: of it. Well, now it's ed. She doesn't like what
- 3:02Speaker 1: they said, so she's threatening a lawsuit. Let me explain everybody,
- 3:07Speaker 1: TV does not just happen. You don't just throw something
- 3:10Speaker 1: upon TV. It takes months and months, maybe years, of production,
- 3:14Speaker 1: of pre production, of editing, and then before anything goes
- 3:18Speaker 1: on the air. There's lawyers there. The only shows that
- 3:21Speaker 1: are put on without a lawyer a live shows, but
- 3:24Speaker 1: they have a lawyer in the control rooms, and lawyers
- 3:28Speaker 1: are a massive part of TV. Netflix has a ton
- 3:31Speaker 1: of money. Let's be honest. They've done much more controversial
- 3:34Speaker 1: documentaries than this, they've done murder documentaries. I mean, I've
- 3:37Speaker 1: watched them. It's a great, great place, smart, smart lawyers.
- 3:42Speaker 1: They said, Julian, bring it. She's threatening a lawsuit. She
- 3:46Speaker 1: hasn't done it yet, Mark. I think if she does,
- 3:50Speaker 1: it would be a terrible mistake.
- 3:52Speaker 2: What do you think, Well, you're totally right about lawyers
- 3:55Speaker 2: being involved in any production. And I've worked on a
- 3:57Speaker 2: bunch of different shows, and I will say when I
- 4:00Speaker 2: started my career, I was a production assistant on The
- 4:02Speaker 2: Apprentice and many other Bravo reality shows. And that's what
- 4:06Speaker 2: termed me off from it because I saw how they
- 4:08Speaker 2: treated people. I saw what went behind the scenes and
- 4:10Speaker 2: people crying and being you know, things used against them.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And that's why I ended up working in daytime talk
- 4:16Speaker 2: because it's a bit more friendly with this story. You know,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I watched this documentary over the weekend, or parts of it,
- 4:22Speaker 2: and I was shocked at some of the things that
- 4:24Speaker 2: they were showing. One contestant literally passed out on the beach,
- 4:27Speaker 2: couldn't move about to die. It felt like, you know.
- 4:30Speaker 2: The thing is Jillian has posted receipts on her Instagram.
- 4:34Speaker 2: She has some suggestive texts and emails that might show
- 4:39Speaker 2: that there are other people involved in this that are
- 4:41Speaker 2: have you know, a stain on them too, So I
- 4:44Speaker 2: don't know.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I'm kind of.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Curious to see how this will play out, because she's
- 4:47Speaker 2: not coming at this with just words she has received.
- 4:50Speaker 1: She's she's got emails, she's got texts. And I'm not
- 4:53Speaker 1: blaming Jillian for this show. She was part of the show.
- 4:55Speaker 1: She didn't create it. She was not the executive producer.
- 4:58Speaker 1: This was not her show. She was a higher cast member. Basically,
- 5:01Speaker 1: she was a hired trainer on the show. However, Gillian,
- 5:05Speaker 1: that does not excuse your participation in it. And I
- 5:09Speaker 1: would argue instead of threatening a lawsuit, because we know
- 5:13Speaker 1: what you did, because you did it on Telly, we
- 5:15Speaker 1: saw you. Your reputation is your reputation. This lawsuit is
- 5:19Speaker 1: not harming you. It's just really reminding us of everything
- 5:22Speaker 1: we already knew. I would argue, instead of a Syrian,
- 5:25Speaker 1: why don't you sit down and write an op ed
- 5:27Speaker 1: about your regrets about you did this, about what really
- 5:33Speaker 1: went down and how that makes you feel now, about
- 5:36Speaker 1: if somebody treated a family member, your daughter, your son,
- 5:39Speaker 1: your sister, your brother liked this, how you would react,
- 5:42Speaker 1: Why don't you sit down and talk about weight loss.
- 5:45Speaker 1: This is your industry, this is where you were a professional.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Talk about how you went so wrong, and use your
- 5:52Speaker 1: energy on that. That's what I try to do, Mark.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I've done stories for a very very long time, and
- 5:58Speaker 1: the celebrity gossip business she's changed, thankfully. It's a much
- 6:02Speaker 1: more nicer place now. It's much more gentle. Remember that
- 6:05Speaker 1: we used to talk about Britney Spears like she was
- 6:07Speaker 1: a piece of eas and we were chasing her. And
- 6:10Speaker 1: I think it was just so wrong. And I can
- 6:12Speaker 1: admit that. Now I can be like, oh, I really
- 6:14Speaker 1: regret that, and I'm happy what I'm doing now. I
- 6:18Speaker 1: think Gillian would be actually smarter to do that. Now
- 6:21Speaker 1: we should point out we've met Jillian. She is not
- 6:24Speaker 1: the kindest person. I have been in many a green
- 6:27Speaker 1: room with her. I've been on many a TV show
- 6:30Speaker 1: with her. I have interviewed her, and she never really
- 6:33Speaker 1: was very nice. She's quite controversial. She has very very
- 6:37Speaker 1: strong views about the gay community, about freedom flags, about
- 6:41Speaker 1: the rainbow flag. Although she's gay herself, right, she doesn't
- 6:44Speaker 1: believe in the rainbow flag, so she has controversial views.
- 6:48Speaker 1: She's got a little touch of the Megan Kelly about her,
- 6:50Speaker 1: who's a very controversial person. So maybe this is exactly
- 6:55Speaker 1: what Gillian likes. She likes a fight, she likes a confrontation,
- 6:59Speaker 1: she likes having that real sort of mean girl image
- 7:03Speaker 1: around her. So maybe she's just leaning in to who
- 7:05Speaker 1: she is. Everything she's doing now is confirming all my
- 7:07Speaker 1: fears about her.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we've always known her to be that
- 7:11Speaker 2: kind of person. You know. I will say she's been
- 7:13Speaker 2: accused of giving contestants caffeine pills and other things. And
- 7:17Speaker 2: you know, as someone who does not drink coffee, that's me.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I do, from time to time take caffeine pills and
- 7:22Speaker 2: it's really nothing different than taking you know, drinking a
- 7:25Speaker 2: couple of coffee. And now there's some speculation that, you know,
- 7:28Speaker 2: caffeine was never banned on the show and it was
- 7:29Speaker 2: never an issue. I just think there's many people here
- 7:32Speaker 2: who have a piece of this, not just Jillian, but
- 7:35Speaker 2: the other the producers and the people that you know
- 7:38Speaker 2: pushed it for this, And I remember, you know, working
- 7:40Speaker 2: at Wendy Williams, we would have the biggest loser winners
- 7:42Speaker 2: come on the show, yes, and they were treated like
- 7:44Speaker 2: Zoom animals. Everyone was looking at them and just oh,
- 7:47Speaker 2: look at you, look at you. But then they would
- 7:49Speaker 2: just disappear, you know.
- 7:51Speaker 1: After that. It's so cruel. We've seen I've seen it
- 7:53Speaker 1: with American idols, I've seen it with Real Housewives, I've
- 7:57Speaker 1: seen these reality shows, these competition shows are so cruel.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Kelly Clarkson has talked about this, how after she and idol,
- 8:02Speaker 1: everybody looked at her like she was in a zoom right.
- 8:04Speaker 1: They were just poking and sing Kelly sing us something
- 8:07Speaker 1: on Red Carcass to her. There's a real underbelly of this.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I think, Gillian, though, what you have done, you should
- 8:12Speaker 1: have made yourself the face of the villains. Wasn't just you.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Don't deflect, blame own it, own what you did, and
- 8:20Speaker 1: then point out to that this wasn't just you, It
- 8:23Speaker 1: was the culture, and this was executive producers, this was
- 8:26Speaker 1: the network, It aired on a network, this was everything
- 8:30Speaker 1: put together. I think what you're doing is just not
- 8:32Speaker 1: helping yourself and it's certainly not helping the victims here,
- 8:35Speaker 1: which brings us to our pole question of the day.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Netflix is not losing any sleep over Jilly and Michael's
- 8:41Speaker 1: legal threats. Whose team are you on here? Are you
- 8:44Speaker 1: team Jillian? Are your team Netflix? I've given you a
- 8:50Speaker 1: little hit there. Who Mark, I've swayed the voted. This
- 8:56Speaker 1: was alection, This would be void, but we will continue
- 9:00Speaker 1: as if I didn't. Take a vote on our Twitter
- 9:02Speaker 1: page at Naughty Nice rob Our facebook page is Naughty
- 9:05Speaker 1: gilsimb and be sure to check back Tamar Raba to
- 9:08Speaker 1: hear your results. Hey Loopy, what are you working on? Yes?
- 9:13Speaker 2: So, I'm sorry to be the better of bad news.
- 9:15Speaker 2: But however, Glenn Palll has officially shut down the James
- 9:19Speaker 2: Bond rumors. Oh let me explain. So, the thirty six
- 9:23Speaker 2: year old actor addressed these swirling speculation that he's in
- 9:27Speaker 2: they're running to replace Staniel Craig as an ex James Bond,
- 9:29Speaker 2: but he's just not having it. He said, I'm a Texan,
- 9:33Speaker 2: and a Texan should not play James Bond. He said,
- 9:36Speaker 2: my family, I joked that I could play Jimmy Bond,
- 9:39Speaker 2: but not James Bond. Get an authentic bridge for that job.
- 9:42Speaker 2: That's who belongs in that tuxedo.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I think it should be a bread I do, But
- 9:46Speaker 1: he is called acting like you can play different characters.
- 9:49Speaker 1: That's your job. He is adorable, isn't it. He's so cute.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I think here are hipopholks. If he was really up
- 9:57Speaker 1: for Bond, if he really was in that top five,
- 10:00Speaker 1: he would say nothing. All the people that are really
- 10:03Speaker 1: in the in the running are keeping their mouths shut.
- 10:07Speaker 1: They don't they don't want Glenn for James Bond. So
- 10:11Speaker 1: I think this is very clever here. He's taking the
- 10:13Speaker 1: high road without losing anything because it's not his to begin,
- 10:18Speaker 1: like he was never going to get it. But it
- 10:20Speaker 1: is interesting James Bond and now Jeff Bezos owns the franchise.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I had some reporting that Jeff's going to be really
- 10:27Speaker 1: hands on. I think he already tweeted asking people who
- 10:30Speaker 1: they think should be the Bond. He bought it. He
- 10:33Speaker 1: bought the James Bond franchise. Could Laurence Sanchez be a
- 10:38Speaker 1: Bond girl? I mean, stranger things have happened. Mark. If
- 10:41Speaker 1: I bought James Bond for eight billion dollars, you and
- 10:45Speaker 1: Doris your mum would be in the movie because it's
- 10:47Speaker 1: my it's my property, it's my franchise. In fact, I
- 10:51Speaker 1: would just stack it. You could be Bond. You could
- 10:53Speaker 1: be here with every one Mark, I would just stack
- 10:55Speaker 1: it with my friends, and so I don't think Glenn's
- 10:58Speaker 1: gonna do it. I like him. Have you ever met him, Mark,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I've met him a few times. I like him.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I haven't met him, but he does seem like a
- 11:03Speaker 2: very nice Southern boy.
- 11:04Speaker 1: So he's very puppy like you, like he wants to please.
- 11:08Speaker 1: He's like having a puppy in the room. A friend
- 11:10Speaker 1: of ours, a girlfriend of ours, bumped into him in
- 11:13Speaker 1: a coffee shop in la and she went over and
- 11:15Speaker 1: spoke to him, and he loved it and they changed
- 11:17Speaker 1: numbers and now the texting. She's very prudent. I'm I'm
- 11:23Speaker 1: not sure where he would give it me, but we
- 11:24Speaker 1: do like Powell, but we know what to rupt you.
- 11:27Speaker 1: You weren't going to get it, really were going to
- 11:29Speaker 1: get it, okay? Moving along. The Palace is furious with
- 11:31Speaker 1: Harry's tribute to Prince Philip. Oh, the Palace. They're always
- 11:35Speaker 1: furious with this, Harry Art that every day they're upset.
- 11:38Speaker 1: So Harry did a the j post where he praised
- 11:44Speaker 1: where he praised Prince Philip. That's his grandfather. Palas insiders
- 11:48Speaker 1: are saying, this is disgusting. Philip was furious with him.
- 11:52Speaker 1: He was Philip was no fan of Meghan, and so
- 11:55Speaker 1: now bringing up his grandfather's memory on a day that
- 11:58Speaker 1: was about remembering runs Maybe not it's the right thing
- 12:02Speaker 1: to do, But I think you can still honor your
- 12:05Speaker 1: grandfather's service. He was really instrumental in the war, in
- 12:09Speaker 1: the war efforts. I think you can remember someone's history
- 12:13Speaker 1: without it being about you. I don't think this was
- 12:15Speaker 1: about Harry here. You know what it is, Mark, Harry
- 12:17Speaker 1: can't win. This family just and the public are just
- 12:22Speaker 1: ready to pace and we're like, don't talk about your family.
- 12:25Speaker 1: You want privacy. But they are his family. He's gonna
- 12:29Speaker 1: mention them. They happen to be one of the most
- 12:30Speaker 1: famous families in the world. I think, poor Harry here
- 12:33Speaker 1: just cannot win. What do you think.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I agree if he didn't do something, then he'd be
- 12:37Speaker 2: like insensitive and horrible, and so I think the family
- 12:40Speaker 2: needs to get over it. You know, he's honoring his grandfather.
- 12:43Speaker 2: There's nothing more here than just a sweet message and
- 12:46Speaker 2: that's it.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yeah, just say that, thank you very much. Okay, quickly
- 12:49Speaker 1: before we get to break this lady fascinates me. I
- 12:52Speaker 1: couldn't say her name for the longest time. I think
- 12:54Speaker 1: I've got it right now. Kristin Calaveri, Calaveri, Calivari, Caliveri,
- 12:59Speaker 1: one or the other. She's always in the press, mark,
- 13:01Speaker 1: she gets covers of magazines. I don't really know who
- 13:05Speaker 1: she is. Help me understand.
- 13:07Speaker 2: This, Okay, So Kristin Cavalari is how I say it,
- 13:10Speaker 2: a love right. So, insiders are saying that Kristin caval
- 13:14Speaker 2: Laurie is rattled after her ex husband Jay Cutler, publicly
- 13:18Speaker 2: fired back at her claim that she never got a
- 13:20Speaker 2: penny from their.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Divorce, or she did say that. She said that.
- 13:23Speaker 2: So the former NFL player, who is now worth one
- 13:26Speaker 2: hundred and twenty eight million dollars dollar definitely got a
- 13:30Speaker 2: dollar when on this podcast to slam the remarks as
- 13:33Speaker 2: completely false and warned that they ordered slander.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I mean he paid her money. He's got the receipt.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I think we've got to this point in reality culture
- 13:46Speaker 1: where you can just say anything, just just say anything,
- 13:48Speaker 1: maybe even in politics, like you just say stuff. It's
- 13:51Speaker 1: not true. He is on a podcast. I watched it. Oh,
- 13:54Speaker 1: he's quite forceful. He said it's ludicrous. He said there
- 13:57Speaker 1: is no judge in Tennessee that's where they lived. Who
- 14:00Speaker 1: would ever sign off on a divorce where she got nothing.
- 14:03Speaker 1: They did have a prenup, but even prenups mean that
- 14:06Speaker 1: you have an arrangement when they went into that prenup.
- 14:09Speaker 1: He's worth over one hundred million dollars. Now. Kristen likes
- 14:13Speaker 1: to paint herself as a self made person. I think
- 14:15Speaker 1: she's made money on reality shows, but she lives a very,
- 14:19Speaker 1: very big life. She lives a life that is way
- 14:22Speaker 1: beyond what MTV was paying when she I think she
- 14:24Speaker 1: was on the Hills, is that right, Mark? Which she
- 14:26Speaker 1: was on the Hills? Which on the bat one of
- 14:27Speaker 1: those shows. And so she lives a big life like that.
- 14:30Speaker 1: So to say your husband didn't give you a penny
- 14:33Speaker 1: where he's like, oh honey, I got the receipts, be careful,
- 14:36Speaker 1: Kristin back off. I just don't. You don't have to apologize.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Just stop talking about your rexs and stop talking about
- 14:44Speaker 1: money and hiding the dishwasher for a couple of days. Ok,
- 14:47Speaker 1: We're gonna take a quick break and we will be
- 14:50Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the naughtyver and Heads shoot
- 14:56Speaker 1: to be mydear friend, Mark Lupo Helupe let's get to
- 14:59Speaker 1: the polls. The bars about Katie Perry and just In
- 15:04Speaker 1: Tradeaux another lame I'm learning to say. He was the
- 15:07Speaker 1: former Prime Minister of Canada. They're so called romance coming
- 15:11Speaker 1: to an end, all nonsense because they were never together
- 15:15Speaker 1: in the first place. I told you first. She was
- 15:17Speaker 1: playing Canada. His daughter is a huge fan. His office
- 15:22Speaker 1: called her office to get tickets, VIP tickets, great seats
- 15:26Speaker 1: at the front. You can't go on ticket Master and
- 15:28Speaker 1: buy the seats that he was sitting in, so he
- 15:30Speaker 1: got great seats. Then her people got back to him
- 15:33Speaker 1: and say, would you like to have dinner with Katie?
- 15:35Speaker 1: Why not? Sounds great, So they went for dinner together.
- 15:39Speaker 1: There's some rooms that maybe Katie tipped off the press,
- 15:42Speaker 1: maybe to get back at Orlando, or had just been
- 15:45Speaker 1: scotted at the Jeff Bezos wehending looking very friendly with
- 15:48Speaker 1: some ladies on a boat. Suddenly kat is with the
- 15:51Speaker 1: former prime minister, who is a cutie. I mean, he's
- 15:53Speaker 1: a good look. So they were never dating. It was
- 15:56Speaker 1: dinner and then a concert, and not a concert together,
- 16:00Speaker 1: a concert where he brought his daughter. So any sexual
- 16:04Speaker 1: feelings are at the window because he's sitting there with
- 16:07Speaker 1: his teenage daughter. So don't believe it. Don't believe it.
- 16:11Speaker 1: They were never together. But my question was, would you
- 16:14Speaker 1: like to see these two us as a couple? Of
- 16:16Speaker 1: seventy percent said yes. That's based on looks, isn't it
- 16:19Speaker 1: a little personality too? He's so adorable, she's so delicious.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I sort of get it, but don't get your hopes
- 16:25Speaker 1: of naughties not gonna happen. Hey, don't forget to vote
- 16:28Speaker 1: on today's pole. Go to our Twitter page had no
- 16:30Speaker 1: any nice room. Her Facebook page is not a gossip.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I'm sure to check back tomorrow hour to hear your results.
- 16:39Speaker 1: And now it's time for a nicest of the day.
- 16:46Speaker 2: The nicest of the day. It's Courtney Cargs.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Oh, I love me too.
- 16:50Speaker 2: She's approving of Jennifer Anderson's new man.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Oh, we love it, we love it.
- 16:56Speaker 2: So the friends due double dated at Noboo malbou Cox's
- 17:00Speaker 2: longtime partner Johnny mcdeed, and Jen's guy had hypnotist author
- 17:05Speaker 2: Jim Curtis, and Courtney apparently really likes him. She's seeing
- 17:09Speaker 2: Jen lab and she's calm, she's happy, and that's a
- 17:12Speaker 2: rare thing for her in these days and Courtney's blessing
- 17:16Speaker 2: means everything to jennifers are saying, and she's watched Jen
- 17:19Speaker 2: get her heartbroken, but this time she can tell it's different.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Oh, Oh, it's lovely. Friends are really important and intended.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Their friends are important. When when I first started to
- 17:28Speaker 1: date Bruce and he met my friends, I wanted my friends.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I needed my friends to like him because I liked him,
- 17:33Speaker 1: And so I dated guys that I didn't really like.
- 17:36Speaker 1: And I didn't care if my friends didn't really like
- 17:38Speaker 1: him because I didn't really like these other boyfriends. But
- 17:41Speaker 1: Bruce I really liked and I would have been really
- 17:44Speaker 1: upset if my friends hadn't liked him. They loved him.
- 17:48Speaker 1: He passed with flying colors when I met Bruce's family.
- 17:50Speaker 1: When I first came to America and I met his family,
- 17:53Speaker 1: I was really nervous in the car going out to
- 17:55Speaker 1: Long Island to meet his relatives. I wanted them to
- 17:58Speaker 1: like me. Well, it's not like but I pulled it off,
- 18:03Speaker 1: but I was nervous. What about you, Mark, Is it
- 18:05Speaker 1: important for your friends to like Kevin to like your boyfriends?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Is it important for his friends to like you? What
- 18:12Speaker 1: do you think?
- 18:13Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, of course. You know, Kevin is loved by
- 18:16Speaker 2: you know, anyone he needs. He's very nice. I'm not nice.
- 18:21Speaker 2: My friends do like him a lot, and it's always
- 18:23Speaker 2: easy to bring around to an event as you met
- 18:25Speaker 2: him out before.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It's great.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's fine. It's easy.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That's the thing. It's not that I wanted to like them.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I want it to be easy. Yeah, that's more important
- 18:34Speaker 1: to me. I just like easy. I'm at that point now.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Oh there's so much drama in my business life because
- 18:41Speaker 1: of what I do for a living. You two, Mark,
- 18:42Speaker 1: it's a big, big, big job. And in my personal life,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I just want easy. Oh, Courtney, this makes me happy.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And now I noticed the day naughty, naughty, naughty people
- 18:53Speaker 1: are concerned about Britney spears again. She's fired her maid.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Her house is in chaos. Britney put up a video
- 18:58Speaker 1: and even though she's acting really paranoid and strange in
- 19:01Speaker 1: the video, that the takeaway that people are talking about
- 19:03Speaker 1: it's just how dirty the houses he's in chaos. There
- 19:07Speaker 1: are piles and piles of clothes and clutter everywhere. I'm
- 19:12Speaker 1: told that she doesn't really have a staff anymore, that
- 19:14Speaker 1: she didn't manage to pay them or keep them on
- 19:17Speaker 1: the schedule. To run a house, even if you don't
- 19:20Speaker 1: have a team, it's a lot to pay the bills,
- 19:23Speaker 1: to make the beds, to clean the toilet, to make
- 19:25Speaker 1: sure the dishwasher work nies a lot. And so Brittany
- 19:29Speaker 1: just doesn't have the skills, and unfortunately she doesn't have
- 19:32Speaker 1: anybody around her helping. Now, so my heartbreaks for Brittany.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Oh so sad. Okay, let's end with a moment of rob.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You get a rub, You're gonna rub, You get rub,
- 19:40Speaker 1: you gotta rob. Stay away from people who dismiss your effort,
- 19:44Speaker 1: but they magnify your mistakes. Has that ever happened?
- 19:47Speaker 2: You know?
- 19:47Speaker 1: The ones They're silent when you're pushing yourself forward, pushing
- 19:51Speaker 1: yourself towards something new and bright and good. But the
- 19:54Speaker 1: second you stumble, they're on the very front row with
- 19:57Speaker 1: their popcorn. That's not friendship, my friends, that's poison. If
- 20:01Speaker 1: they can't cheer for you in your progress, they don't
- 20:04Speaker 1: deserve a seat at your table. Surround yourself with people
- 20:09Speaker 1: who clap when you win, not the ones who thrive
- 20:13Speaker 1: when you fall. I've noticed this mark when I've had
- 20:17Speaker 1: some very very successful moments, big moments in my life.
- 20:20Speaker 1: The podcast became top ten, I had a book published.
- 20:24Speaker 1: It became an Amazon bestseller. All these things in my
- 20:28Speaker 1: life that I'm really proud of. I noticed the friends
- 20:31Speaker 1: that clap, I notice the friends that really want me
- 20:35Speaker 1: to succeed. But I also notice the ones that are silent.
- 20:39Speaker 2: You know, I think having a friend who secretly wants
- 20:42Speaker 2: you to fail as the most dangerous type of person
- 20:44Speaker 2: in your life.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yes, I've had a watch out. We want
- 20:48Speaker 1: you all to succeed. Naughties. Hey, that is it for today.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to The Naughty but
