Romans 16:1,16 -Friends- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2023-12-17

Calvary Chapel Bremerton - Sunday Service · Dec 25, 2023 · 1h 28m

Pastor Rick Beaudry reflects on Romans 16:1-16, unpacking the thirty-six named friends Paul greets and what Christian friendship looks like. He emphasizes agape love and sacrificial service as shown by Phoebe, Priscilla and Aquila, Rufus and Simon of Cyrene, and highlights the importance of home fellowships and women’s labors. He warns against friendship with the world, calls us to endurance as trials refine faith, and urges obedience and mutual support within the church. The message challenges us to cherish those who stand with us and to be friends of God rather than friends of the world.
