- 0:16Speaker 1: Welcome to Jagsam. I'm Kindannie Stephens, Brian Sexton, John Osier
- 0:19Speaker 1: with me today as Jaguarts prepare for one of their
- 0:22Speaker 1: biggest games so far the season. They're going to take
- 0:24Speaker 1: on the Colts and the winner we'll get bragging rights
- 0:26Speaker 1: and they will be the solo lead of the AFC
- 0:28Speaker 1: South Division. So a lot up for grabs this week.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Let's talk about some big things today, brought to you
- 0:33Speaker 1: by g e h A Government Employees Health Association.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Big thing number one is in return.
- 0:38Speaker 1: We obviously don't know the extent of Parker Washington's injury.
- 0:41Speaker 1: He did leave the game against the Titans last week, Brian,
- 0:44Speaker 1: but we do know Austin Tramill was also released earlier
- 0:46Speaker 1: this week. So if Parker Washington can't go, what is
- 0:48Speaker 1: this return game going to look like?
- 0:50Speaker 2: On punts?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Well, I'm that's a great question and one that we'll
- 0:54Speaker 3: have to talk with the coach about. I would think
- 0:56Speaker 3: that maybe Leaquin Allen, who is a kickoff return guy
- 1:00Speaker 3: who's used to looking up for the ball and not
- 1:02Speaker 3: focusing on the rush. I would think that if Trammel
- 1:06Speaker 3: is released, they have some measure of confidence in Parker
- 1:10Speaker 3: Washington's ability to get back on the field because he
- 1:13Speaker 3: is the backup. You generally don't let that go. I
- 1:16Speaker 3: see this as a positive sign.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll see. I think it'll go up to Sunday
- 1:22Speaker 2: with Parker is just my gut, and you know the
- 1:28Speaker 2: person at this point, I would guess the person with
- 1:31Speaker 2: the surest hands will be assigned to catch punts rather
- 1:36Speaker 2: than focus on returning them. Not quite sure who that'll be,
- 1:41Speaker 2: but it's a storyline. Father Us of the.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Week, something to figure out on practice this week for sure.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Let's go to our second big thig, which is long term.
- 1:46Speaker 1: After the win over the Titans, I think that was
- 1:49Speaker 1: Jacobe Myers's most consistent game we've seen just in the
- 1:52Speaker 1: month that he's been here. But he's also such a
- 1:54Speaker 1: big part of this offense already. John.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I don't know what the new.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Regime likes to do in terms of signing people in
- 2:00Speaker 1: season or they're focused ahead, but he has to be
- 2:02Speaker 1: someone you want to see around your long term.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Yeah. I think the new regime likes to retain good
- 2:08Speaker 2: football players as Sho and this was out of all
- 2:13Speaker 2: the moves, right Travis Hunter. Whatever they did in the offseason,
- 2:17Speaker 2: Djakobe Meyer's at mid season ranks up there with the
- 2:19Speaker 2: best moves This regime has made, has made a dramatic difference.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I would be surprised if something doesn't get done long
- 2:27Speaker 2: term with Jacoby. By the time it becomes an issue
- 2:31Speaker 2: of meeting, I think you'll get them before the end
- 2:32Speaker 2: of season too.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Just in talking to people around the building, they are
- 2:37Speaker 3: so confident in him. They do not want him playing
- 2:40Speaker 3: anywhere else next year, and that's a great sign for
- 2:43Speaker 3: him that the Jaguars will work to get a deal done.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I went back and looked at mid season trades in
- 2:48Speaker 3: Jaguars history. This is right there with the best of them,
- 2:51Speaker 3: and I think the best of them was Marcel Darius
- 2:54Speaker 3: in twenty seventeen. Because the Jaguars that year had a
- 2:56Speaker 3: problem against the run. He immediately shored up the defensive
- 2:59Speaker 3: front and the Jaguars were able to power themselves via
- 3:03Speaker 3: the defense in large part to the AFC Championship game.
- 3:06Speaker 3: This one. If the Jaguars make the playoffs, I think
- 3:09Speaker 3: because of where they were offensively, I think this puts
- 3:11Speaker 3: them in a great position, and it puts Myers up
- 3:14Speaker 3: there with the very best of in season trades.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And doesn't it feel like he's just calmed things down
- 3:21Speaker 2: for Trevor, somebody he can trust. I mean, it's the
- 3:24Speaker 2: difference he's made, even beyond just his own stats, has
- 3:29Speaker 2: been really significant for the last three or four weeks
- 3:31Speaker 2: of this team three and one, since they acquired Well
- 3:34Speaker 2: and John.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I also think that he's a guy in that room
- 3:36Speaker 3: with those other receivers who are younger, in particular Brian
- 3:40Speaker 3: Thomas Junior, because of the way that he goes about
- 3:42Speaker 3: his business. Myers is a discipline, detailed guy. I think
- 3:47Speaker 3: for Brian who's trying to get his career back on track,
- 3:50Speaker 3: I think he's the perfect guy on so many fronts.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Absolutely a great addition to this team, hopefully for a
- 3:55Speaker 1: long time. Let's do our final big thing today, which
- 3:57Speaker 1: is annual traditions.
- 3:58Speaker 2: It's the holiday season.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Talk about some manual traditions around here, and recently, for
- 4:03Speaker 1: the past decade, it has been beating the Colts in Jacksonville.
- 4:06Speaker 1: They haven't gotten a win here since twenty fourteen. Ryan
- 4:09Speaker 1: can count on that keeping going this weekend or still
- 4:12Speaker 1: take a little something.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Let me count on is a very strong phrase. Kai.
- 4:17Speaker 3: My favorite addition was the twenty twenty one game, where
- 4:20Speaker 3: they had an interim coach and a rookie quarterback, and
- 4:23Speaker 3: all the Colts had to do was come down here
- 4:25Speaker 3: and find a way to just play solid football, and
- 4:28Speaker 3: they make their way into the playoffs. And we were
- 4:30Speaker 3: told after the game that before the game, Trevor Lawrence
- 4:34Speaker 3: went around the locker room, the rookie quarterback, urging his
- 4:36Speaker 3: teammates to put their best on the field, and they did,
- 4:39Speaker 3: winning twenty six to ten. That was a great performance
- 4:43Speaker 3: by a team that really had no reason to perform.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Great John And I'm told that Frank Wright painted that
- 4:50Speaker 3: score in the locker room in Indianapolis for everyone to remember.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, the last ten years, there's been a lot
- 4:58Speaker 2: of good wins for the JA War was over the Colts.
- 5:02Speaker 2: None of those games mattered, Some mattered, but nothing compared
- 5:07Speaker 2: to this one. Uh seventeen. I forget when they played them,
- 5:10Speaker 2: but it was not a memorable, necessarily game. The Jaguars
- 5:15Speaker 2: have been bad during this streak. Yes, I would trade
- 5:19Speaker 2: four or five or six of those wins for a
- 5:21Speaker 2: win Sunday. I think most Jaguars fans would. This is
- 5:24Speaker 2: a different ball wax than the last nine or ten
- 5:28Speaker 2: games against the Colts in this stadium in a good way.
- 5:31Speaker 2: It's gonna be a great game this Sunday. We'll talk
- 5:32Speaker 2: a lot more about it today and tomorrow.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Stay with us here on jag Zam. We're gonna do
- 5:36Speaker 1: a little this or that after the break. Jag Zam
- 5:46Speaker 1: brought to you today by Field Auto Group, Seafield's first,
- 5:49Speaker 1: Jacksonville's premier luxury auto group. Head Overfield Auto dot Com.
- 5:54Speaker 2: This, Oh, that's this, Oh, welcome back. Get to jag Van.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'm going to play a little this or that today
- 6:02Speaker 1: as we look at this roster, we look ahead. We're
- 6:05Speaker 1: a very exciting game this week, and of course my question.
- 6:08Speaker 1: We talked a little bit about special teams off the
- 6:10Speaker 1: top in terms of what the punk returns are going
- 6:12Speaker 1: to look like if Parker Washington can't go. Not quite
- 6:14Speaker 1: sure on that yet, so we're going to talk a
- 6:16Speaker 1: little bit about the rest of the special teams. Are
- 6:18Speaker 1: you concerned at all? I mean, Logan Coff took a
- 6:20Speaker 1: pretty hard hit, Ross Madisik had to leave the game
- 6:22Speaker 1: due to a back injury.
- 6:23Speaker 2: He did come back in.
- 6:25Speaker 1: But special teams, which is something we normally kind of
- 6:27Speaker 1: right off as all set is now a little bit
- 6:29Speaker 1: of a concern right now.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Well, the Mattisik one is the one that would concern me.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Nothing against Von Hamilton, who you know did Yeoman's work
- 6:35Speaker 3: going into the game and covering it. But you saw
- 6:38Speaker 3: how the Titans adjusted. They just set everybody after it,
- 6:41Speaker 3: and the ball was off target both on the extra point,
- 6:46Speaker 3: the immediate extra point after the touchdown and a couple
- 6:49Speaker 3: of those snaps, which is why Logan got hit. So
- 6:51Speaker 3: Mattisik would be the one that would concern me. I
- 6:54Speaker 3: would expect that Logan, even with a shoulder, would be
- 6:57Speaker 3: able to punt.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I would be concerned, except they have many moves,
- 7:02Speaker 2: So if they were really concerned about those guys, you
- 7:08Speaker 2: would bring in a long snapper, you would bring in
- 7:11Speaker 2: a punter. So I'm not a Wigmathan playing. I wish
- 7:15Speaker 2: they would stay out of fights.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, now watching him, you know writhe in pain there,
- 7:21Speaker 3: which we just saw you forget. I mean, you've talked
- 7:25Speaker 3: about a six foot six man who is two hundred
- 7:28Speaker 3: and twenty five two hundred and thirty pounds and a
- 7:30Speaker 3: muscular dude. So I mean it's not like you're asking
- 7:32Speaker 3: Heyden Epstein, right, or or one of the other Jaguars
- 7:36Speaker 3: kickers or punters from years past, to go over there,
- 7:38Speaker 3: Matthew Wright, to go over there and pop a hit
- 7:41Speaker 3: on somebody. This is a big, strong dude.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe just maybe take a little easy on the tackles.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I'm sure he's been told that a couple of times.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but it was entertaining. We'll give him that,
- 7:51Speaker 1: but we'll keep it out. And I think you are right, John,
- 7:53Speaker 1: the lack of moves maybe makes us feel a little
- 7:55Speaker 1: more safe with that because we haven't seen a ton
- 7:58Speaker 1: of stuff going on. Obviously later in the week we'll
- 7:59Speaker 1: get a better idea of that. But some injuries as
- 8:02Speaker 1: well on the offensive line, and then right before the
- 8:04Speaker 1: game actually, Eric Armstead was scratched due to an injury
- 8:07Speaker 1: last week to his hands. So when it comes to
- 8:09Speaker 1: the trenches, is there any concerns there, John, on either
- 8:12Speaker 1: side of the football with injuries on O line or
- 8:15Speaker 1: D line.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yeah, you're getting thin. You're playing the number four or
- 8:20Speaker 2: five running attack with the best running back in football.
- 8:23Speaker 2: The Jaguars are the best run defense. Devon Hamilton is
- 8:27Speaker 2: the biggest reason why they're the best run defense, but
- 8:30Speaker 2: he's not the only reason. Yeah, you know, you know,
- 8:33Speaker 2: I want to see forty four in uniform. Forty four
- 8:36Speaker 2: wants to see forty four in uniform. Yes, you would
- 8:40Speaker 2: definitely like to have Eric Armstead pushed in the pocket
- 8:43Speaker 2: in the middle, and you would like to have Trayvon
- 8:45Speaker 2: Walker on the field against the Colts. I mean, there's
- 8:48Speaker 2: a chance, but it's not a definite that these guys play.
- 8:52Speaker 3: So if you have both of them, you feel really good.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Because the Jaguars run defense, though it's ranked number one,
- 9:00Speaker 3: you were not scared of what the Titans were going
- 9:02Speaker 3: to do running. You bring in the NFL's leading rusher
- 9:06Speaker 3: and Jonathan Taylor, a guy who you might recall had
- 9:08Speaker 3: a huge day thirty four carries in one hundred and
- 9:10Speaker 3: seventy seven yards in the season finale last year. You
- 9:14Speaker 3: need those guys. You have a great chance with them.
- 9:18Speaker 3: That's the concern right now is that Armstead and Treyvon
- 9:21Speaker 3: are going to be limited. But if you've got them
- 9:23Speaker 3: on the field at all, even if it's only for
- 9:26Speaker 3: fifteen to twenty snaps, at least you give yourselves a
- 9:29Speaker 3: chance to shore up. I'm not so worried about the
- 9:30Speaker 3: offensive side of the ball, but the defensive side of
- 9:33Speaker 3: the ball, man Jonathan Taylor is the best.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I will take a moment on the offensive side of
- 9:37Speaker 1: the ball to say cole Van Lannon's about just the
- 9:40Speaker 1: MVP as he plays every single position on the offensive line.
- 9:42Speaker 2: What he's been able to do.
- 9:44Speaker 3: His agent wouldn't you Jack, let's talk.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I mean he's earned it because to see him play
- 9:48Speaker 1: guard tackle, same game, switching sides, he's been invaluable so far.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny Cole. I don't know Matt well, but
- 9:56Speaker 2: strikes he is a humble guy. Trevor and Liam both
- 10:01Speaker 2: talked after the game about how resilient and how versatile
- 10:04Speaker 2: the offensive line is. So went back and looked at everything.
- 10:07Speaker 2: It's Cole Van Landon's versatile. Yeah, it's not a knock
- 10:10Speaker 2: on anybody else. It is a versatile line. But I
- 10:12Speaker 2: kind of laugh. They've had lineup changes, but every week
- 10:16Speaker 2: it's cole Van Lannon going in. So they've been a deep,
- 10:20Speaker 2: resilient offensive line, largely because of number seventy. He's a
- 10:24Speaker 2: big part. You might talk about five starters, Bad Bunch
- 10:28Speaker 2: considers this guy's starter as he should be.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Stay with us here on jag Zam after the break
- 10:32Speaker 1: we'll talk a little bit about what's going on around
- 10:34Speaker 1: the NFL. Jag Zam brought to you by Dreamfinders' Homes
- 10:48Speaker 1: for twelve years. Dreamfinders Holmes and be proud to call
- 10:50Speaker 1: themselves the official home builder of the Jacksonville Jaguars, with
- 10:52Speaker 1: a Dreamfinders' Homes dot Com for all of the available inventory.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Welcome back in to jags Am.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Talk a little bit about what's going on around the
- 11:00Speaker 1: league and the AC South in particular, because things are
- 11:03Speaker 1: heating up. Don't look now eight and four Jags, eight
- 11:06Speaker 1: and four Colts and seven and five Texans. Titans will
- 11:10Speaker 1: leave out of it. But Texans beat the Colts obviously,
- 11:12Speaker 1: that was a big game last week. They're improving seven
- 11:14Speaker 1: and five and equipping their way back in. Well.
- 11:17Speaker 3: John touched on it the other day when we were
- 11:19Speaker 3: talking about the division, and he's right, that is any
- 11:21Speaker 3: elite defense when we talk about some of the best
- 11:24Speaker 3: defenses we've seen in thirty years of covering the league.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I mean, these guys, they're the reason why the Jaguars
- 11:33Speaker 3: lost there last month. I mean, they kept them in
- 11:36Speaker 3: that bowl game, and they're able to keep them in
- 11:38Speaker 3: almost every ballgame now. You've got CJ. Stroud back, even
- 11:41Speaker 3: though he hasn't had a terrific season, that defense gives
- 11:45Speaker 3: you a chance. They are unbelievably good.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not sure that team's very much different with
- 11:50Speaker 2: Mills or Stroud frankly.
- 11:51Speaker 1: But.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I think Mills is really he's evolved, maybe one of
- 11:57Speaker 2: the better backers in the league. But if you had
- 12:00Speaker 2: to tell me what team scares you the most, I
- 12:04Speaker 2: get the Colts are really good and they're in it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I was gonna say the Texans been. As soon as
- 12:09Speaker 2: I say that it is a division right now, somebody
- 12:12Speaker 2: asks me and the other and who I think will win.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Flip a coin. It is fun. The way the league
- 12:17Speaker 2: set it up. There's still three more games involving these teams.
- 12:21Speaker 2: They set it up right, It is going to be
- 12:25Speaker 2: We're gonna be watching games and checking scores to the
- 12:28Speaker 2: rest of the season.
- 12:29Speaker 3: You know, It's really fun for those of us who
- 12:31Speaker 3: have covered the South for a while, is all the
- 12:33Speaker 3: people are surprised at the South and they don't spend
- 12:36Speaker 3: that much time looking at the talent that's in the division.
- 12:39Speaker 3: And at some point, when you keep adding it up,
- 12:42Speaker 3: you're going to get to this point, They've done a
- 12:45Speaker 3: tremendous job in Indianapolis and in Houston and obviously here
- 12:48Speaker 3: in Jacksonville of compiling talent and then just week to
- 12:51Speaker 3: week grinding it out. I will say this, and if
- 12:53Speaker 3: I don't whether you looked at the schedule for the Colts,
- 12:55Speaker 3: it is brutal. And so they have got They've got
- 12:59Speaker 3: the twice, They've got the Texans, the Niners, and the Seahawks.
- 13:03Speaker 3: That's their final five games, all playoff caliber teams, all
- 13:07Speaker 3: teams with at least seven wins. It is a brutal
- 13:10Speaker 3: finish to their season.
- 13:11Speaker 2: And I don't know if I saw a graphics summer.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I'm not even sure where I saw it. People. I
- 13:17Speaker 2: don't tend to lean into everybody overlooks the Jags things
- 13:20Speaker 2: much as most people. But I saw a graphic this
- 13:22Speaker 2: week talking about the race for the number one seed
- 13:26Speaker 2: Denver Patriots and the Colts. Hi, Well, you know this
- 13:32Speaker 2: team's good and we know it. There is a tone
- 13:37Speaker 2: when you read national stuff. And again I don't lean
- 13:39Speaker 2: into this, no, but that it's Texans Colts. Look, this
- 13:44Speaker 2: is a three way deal. And I would say the
- 13:48Speaker 2: Jaguars chances are as good or better than the other
- 13:51Speaker 2: two teams.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Because the schedule's favorable for the Jaguars, who have still
- 13:55Speaker 3: a game against the Jets and the Titans.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And look, you know you're not to go two socks
- 14:00Speaker 2: on today. So he's my winning socks Ryan with your
- 14:04Speaker 2: winning coffee. Mark. Yeah. Look, this team has beaten five
- 14:08Speaker 2: teams with records of five hundred better. Right, you're eight
- 14:13Speaker 2: and four. You've earned your way to eight and four,
- 14:15Speaker 2: certainly as much as the other two teams in the division.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Now they got to go prove it. But if they
- 14:19Speaker 2: win Sunday, it's six wins out of your nine against
- 14:24Speaker 2: plus five hundred teams.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Listen, people tend to tag things to this team. So
- 14:27Speaker 3: they look at the nineteen point fourth quarter meltdown in Houston,
- 14:30Speaker 3: they go, ah, they're not that good. They forget that.
- 14:33Speaker 3: A week later, the Colts blew an eleven point lead
- 14:36Speaker 3: in which they handed the ball to the NFL's leading
- 14:39Speaker 3: rusher one time in the fourth quarter. Hello, did anybody
- 14:42Speaker 3: pin them and say what you know? What is that? Nope?
- 14:45Speaker 3: Nobody did.
- 14:46Speaker 2: And then the.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Jags had that game where there were four turnovers. So
- 14:49Speaker 3: it gives everyone to Jay Well, the quarterback. Okay, well,
- 14:52Speaker 3: did they see what the quarterback did to actually win
- 14:54Speaker 3: the game? And then this week the Jaguars have never
- 14:58Speaker 3: gotten the kind of accolades or credit and maybe they
- 15:02Speaker 3: never will because it's a small market and every but
- 15:06Speaker 3: I get your point because I've seen it myself.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Well, look at I'm praising the Texans. They think they're
- 15:11Speaker 2: really good, but they're terrific beaten Titans by three Jaguars.
- 15:15Speaker 2: You know, I'm not compared to scores guy either, but
- 15:18Speaker 2: the logic that this team isn't in it. Look, I'm tired.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Go let's just kick.
- 15:23Speaker 3: It off and I'm just get to mar Jen. Wars
- 15:25Speaker 3: are the only team to score more than twenty points
- 15:27Speaker 3: against the Texans in the last six weeks.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Making it happen.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I love it.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Let's talk a little bit more about in the division.
- 15:33Speaker 1: We are playing the Colts this week. Sauce Gardner, who
- 15:36Speaker 1: the Colts went out there they're clearly going for this year,
- 15:38Speaker 1: went all out, created a couple of first round picks
- 15:40Speaker 1: for them, left the game with a calf straight and
- 15:43Speaker 1: they're calling it week to week at this point, So
- 15:44Speaker 1: it doesn't look like it's an Achilles' injury that's going
- 15:46Speaker 1: to keep them out for the rest of the season.
- 15:48Speaker 1: But that's a tough loss for them when they kind
- 15:50Speaker 1: of went and all in on.
- 15:51Speaker 3: That, I'd be starting to see him on the field
- 15:53Speaker 3: on Sunday, not with as many games against contenders left
- 15:57Speaker 3: on the schedule. It's one of those things where you
- 15:59Speaker 3: want to have him. They're getting back Tarvarius Ward. I
- 16:03Speaker 3: think he was back on the field last week and
- 16:06Speaker 3: they thought, Okay, now we've got these two corners that
- 16:08Speaker 3: we were planning on for the stretch run. It's kind
- 16:10Speaker 3: of the way it goes. And if he does not
- 16:12Speaker 3: come back this year, or isn't a factor, or they
- 16:14Speaker 3: don't make the playoffs because of their schedule, how good
- 16:18Speaker 3: do they feel about giving up two number one picks
- 16:20Speaker 3: in the next two years for a corner.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Yeah, injuries are going to be a topic Sunday. You're
- 16:28Speaker 2: at the point where whoever was out there going to
- 16:30Speaker 2: play Bagree. You're at the point now where you'd almost
- 16:33Speaker 2: wear a Sea Sauce gardner out there because you wonder
- 16:35Speaker 2: how effective he could be. The Jaguars. I think the
- 16:40Speaker 2: edge there for them would be one thing we haven't
- 16:44Speaker 2: talked about a whole lot on these shows. Is how
- 16:47Speaker 2: much they have played through Guys, are you not being
- 16:50Speaker 2: out there? You know you're on a four game or
- 16:53Speaker 2: three wins in four games without Eric Murray? Who's your
- 16:56Speaker 2: communication guy? Jordan Luis is getting back Trayvon hasn't been
- 17:00Speaker 2: Trayvon since Week two, and yet you're still building and
- 17:05Speaker 2: looking like you're an improving team. That is probably the
- 17:11Speaker 2: Jaguar storyline this year that we will look back on
- 17:17Speaker 2: once the season's over with and think, wow, that was
- 17:20Speaker 2: an impressive job of keeping the ship afloat.
- 17:22Speaker 3: The other thing that we haven't really talked about, the
- 17:24Speaker 3: Jacks are four and one here in Jacksonville, right. They
- 17:27Speaker 3: have built a bit of a home field advantage on Sunday.
- 17:30Speaker 3: If they get to five, they will tie the ten, seventeen,
- 17:36Speaker 3: and twenty two teams four third in most wins at home.
- 17:40Speaker 3: The most wins at home in franchise history is seven
- 17:43Speaker 3: set four times, ninety six, ninety seven, ninety eight, and
- 17:45Speaker 3: ninety nine. Those are all great playoff teams, right, and
- 17:49Speaker 3: you have a chance to do that. So for people
- 17:52Speaker 3: who are thinking about coming out because I know their
- 17:53Speaker 3: tickets still available, the Jaguars have played well in front
- 17:56Speaker 3: of the home crowd. They could use the home crowd
- 17:58Speaker 3: this week, and I think if you get this one,
- 18:01Speaker 3: you'll probably get the seven and one.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Final thing. If you're watching this maybe on minds what
- 18:05Speaker 2: Brian's talking about. And again I'm wearing my winning socks
- 18:12Speaker 2: since Cincinnati. If you had three losses, they were the Texans,
- 18:16Speaker 2: the Rams, and the Seahawks, who right now may be
- 18:19Speaker 2: among the best six or seven teams in football. This
- 18:23Speaker 2: team is good and they got a chance to show
- 18:26Speaker 2: it on Sunday, and.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Then I don't want to just step over. You're sorry
- 18:29Speaker 3: you mentioned earlier. They have a lot of quality wins.
- 18:32Speaker 3: It's not like they've just been beating up on the
- 18:33Speaker 3: bottom of the schedule. They're gonna do that next couple
- 18:36Speaker 3: of weeks with the Jets and the Titans again. But
- 18:38Speaker 3: they've got quality wins.
- 18:39Speaker 1: They're earning it for sure.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Stay with us on jag Zam.

- 19:08Speaker 1: guys definitely want to be there. I don't know how
- 19:09Speaker 1: much more we can talk this up, because this is
- 19:11Speaker 1: a game that at the bank I think maybe since
- 19:15Speaker 1: two thousand.
- 19:18Speaker 3: It was a Saturday night game, so it was primetime
- 19:21Speaker 3: and Mike Vrabel came in with Joshua Dobbs right who
- 19:25Speaker 3: had just pulled off the Cleveland to practice squad or
- 19:27Speaker 3: Detroit practice squad a few weeks before, and dart if
- 19:31Speaker 3: it didn't go to the end right, Rayshawn Jenkins made
- 19:33Speaker 3: that play where he stripped the ball and josh picked
- 19:36Speaker 3: it up and returned it for a touchdown. It was
- 19:37Speaker 3: an incredible theater and no one expected it to be.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Everyone just thought, well, you know, I mean, they're limping
- 19:43Speaker 3: to the finish and it was a hell up finish
- 19:46Speaker 3: and it was a lot of fun. So I if
- 19:47Speaker 3: this is even fractionally as much fun as that one was,
- 19:50Speaker 3: watch out.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah. And this is a different season than that that team,
- 19:54Speaker 2: you know, well, it's a team that should be a
- 19:57Speaker 2: member finally, but it came back, much like the ninety
- 20:00Speaker 2: six team, where you really didn't believe it until late.
- 20:06Speaker 2: This team four and one, start, four and three, and
- 20:10Speaker 2: now two three game winning streaks in a row. I
- 20:13Speaker 2: think this team is figuring out that it's good, yeah,
- 20:17Speaker 2: because it hasn't been good before. I think the fans
- 20:19Speaker 2: need to realize what they're doing now. This is what
- 20:23Speaker 2: I think it's going to be for a while. Get
- 20:26Speaker 2: used to good games the second half of the season
- 20:28Speaker 2: that matter. I keep saying it for years. I've been
- 20:33Speaker 2: getting emails, when are we going to be good? When
- 20:36Speaker 2: is this? When is this? When is this? This is it? Yeah?
- 20:39Speaker 2: This is the fun stuff. This is what you will
- 20:42Speaker 2: remember when you're an old man like me about when
- 20:46Speaker 2: you were thirty five and watching the Jaguars. These are
- 20:49Speaker 2: the times to remember. Well.
- 20:50Speaker 3: People, you know, they're like, oh, you always bring up
- 20:52Speaker 3: the nineties, Yeah, because those were great football teams. What
- 20:56Speaker 3: they're building here is the foundation to do exactly what
- 20:59Speaker 3: Tom Kaughlin did back then and build something that lasts.
- 21:03Speaker 1: All right, guys, we'll be back here tomorrow for ja
- 21:05Speaker 1: exam full show all about that Cults game. As we
- 21:08Speaker 1: get ready for the matchup at every Bank Stadium on Sunday,
