- 0:12is advised. Now, here's No ID with Paul Banducci
- 0:19and Scott Moskowitz. Hey, the man's right. Welcome
- 0:24back to No ID, Idaho's mainstream media and narrative
- 0:29deconstruction. I'm Scott. Hello internet, I'm
- 0:33Paul. What a beautiful day. We have special guests
- 0:36with us today Scott break it down Whoa, and I
- 0:40didn't even initiate this one unlike that. It
- 0:42actually hasn't been a guest on this program
- 0:44This is episode 43 of no ID today Not since episode
- 0:482 has there been a guest on this program where
- 0:51we we we announced that oh, hey We're starting
- 0:53this podcast here and we're gonna it's gonna
- 0:56be Paul and me and we're gonna deconstruct the
- 0:58mainstream media and then right out of the gate
- 1:01guest Guest and but no guests since so today
- 1:05Scott told me what the business model was and
- 1:06I said that sounds great What if we don't do
- 1:09that? Now today Tyler Cain is joining us Tyler
- 1:13Cain is the man and be quickly becoming a myth
- 1:16and legend behind D flock, Idaho But before we
- 1:20hit the record button here We were sort of you
- 1:22know having a conversation among ourselves about
- 1:25how well what about Motorola? What about this?
- 1:27Why is everyone so should it actually be D fuck,
- 1:29Idaho? That's funny. Yeah. So my name is Tyler
- 1:35Kane. Thanks for having me guys. Yeah, it should
- 1:38be, it really should be no ALPR Idaho. I just
- 1:41haven't wanted to change the name yet because
- 1:44Flock is like the name brand. I know we were
- 1:47talking about, you know, Mountain Dew versus
- 1:49Dr. Thunder. Well, as we all know, man, substance
- 1:54doesn't matter. It's straight up marketing. You
- 1:57got to just, you know, so marketing is what matters.
- 1:59There you go. Anti -ALPR. Yeah. It doesn't have
- 2:02the same ring to it. Just doesn't ring. Right.
- 2:05I mean, they call it a flock for a reason, right?
- 2:06So we're calling it deflock for a reason. I mean,
- 2:10what, what reason did they, I mean, so what,
- 2:12we're all a flock of sheep. Is that it? Like,
- 2:14what is even, or is it an acronym? I'm, I guess
- 2:16I'm sort of ignorant on it. I don't know. I mean,
- 2:19whoever I. I feel like they really screwed themselves
- 2:21when they chose the name flock like people aren't
- 2:24going to be upset being called, you know, these
- 2:27flock cameras, these flock of sheep cameras.
- 2:29Right. And basically, we talk about a lot on
- 2:31this program where there's a lot of the naming
- 2:34schemes and even down to some of the actual names
- 2:37of people like the drag performer that was suing
- 2:40summer Bushnell is Eric Posey, like the poser
- 2:43is posing as a what like there's a lot of this
- 2:45that goes on where it's like It feels quite deliberate,
- 2:48like the reptiles running the simulation or just
- 2:50messing with us. Oh, dude. Representative Handy,
- 2:54Governor Little. We can't write this as well
- 2:59as they do. This is, hey, Tyler, this is Representative
- 3:01Handy. I've seen people in every way, shape or
- 3:03form all over the world going to the bathroom.
- 3:06That guy's last name is Handy. Handy. And this
- 3:10there's a bazillion examples of this sort of
- 3:12thing. So I don't know flock. They really screwed
- 3:14themselves They couldn't have picked a more ridiculous
- 3:16name No, I mean another one. That's funny is
- 3:20So axon was called taser, but then they put on
- 3:24They put a taser on a drone and everyone got
- 3:27pissed So they had they fired a bunch of business
- 3:29executives and then they changed their name because
- 3:32everyone was so mad about their taser That's
- 3:35fantastic. They didn't change what they do. I
- 3:38think would an idiot do that they didn't change
- 3:41it yeah they just changed the name not what they're
- 3:43actually doing no no they're still they're still
- 3:46doing the same thing yeah i told you marketing
- 3:49marketing is what matters it's like with taxation
- 3:51they go hmm what should we call it should we
- 3:53call it theft no no sounds too rude let's call
- 3:56it taxation oh yes oh very good very good OK,
- 4:00now, before we get into some flock, we got lots
- 4:02of flock clips, as you might imagine. I when
- 4:04we were speaking also before the show here about
- 4:07Mayor Randy Westland and Tyler, you just had
- 4:09like a recent conversation with Post Falls Mayor
- 4:12Randy Westland. I think you've been speaking
- 4:13with a lot of sort of political figures, bureaucrats,
- 4:17politicians across the state in recent months.
- 4:19And so I want to play this based on what you
- 4:21just said, Paul, with regard to tax and Randy
- 4:25Westland, because you said, Tyler, like, well,
- 4:27I will you. You tell us what your sort of impression
- 4:30of Mayor Westland was. He seemed like a decent
- 4:33guy. I mean, he took the time to talk to me.
- 4:36I think there's some misinformation and it's
- 4:39exactly what we were just saying with, you know,
- 4:43Mountain Dew versus Dr. Thunder where people
- 4:47are against flock. And Randy Westland came out
- 4:49saying. Hey, I'm against flock. I stand for people's
- 4:53rights. We don't use flock. We use Motorola and
- 4:58So it was definitely and people fell for it they're
- 5:01like, oh great. Yeah celebrate Randy But Motorola
- 5:05operates the same and if and the things that
- 5:07Motorola does You know as far as with with the
- 5:10way they use data You know allowing they give
- 5:14it to other companies to use Anyways, and even
- 5:19Motorola can use just standard cameras. They
- 5:22can integrate them so any camera can become an
- 5:24ALPR camera And so I just I found it funny and
- 5:29I talked to him and I think maybe he had some
- 5:32you know Clarity in that but I don't know if
- 5:35he's moving forward with anything To get rid
- 5:38of them. I know they're gonna put some sort of
- 5:42like transparency portal or something together,
- 5:46and then invite the community to discuss it.
- 5:51So I guess as much as you can ask for. Transparency
- 5:55portal that just for clarity sake, is that something
- 5:58and then you say the public is that something
- 6:00as a transparency portal something that you and
- 6:02I and Scott, you know, john q public that we
- 6:05can log on to and quote unquote, like, see what
- 6:08the elite pedo lizard people are up to? As they're
- 6:11watching us like, is this is this us getting
- 6:13the chance to watch them watch us? Is that what
- 6:15that is? No, usually a lot of times these portals
- 6:19and I don't know the scale of what they're doing
- 6:22with with flock. You used to be able to see like
- 6:25searches that were being done in the amount of
- 6:29searches with with some of them. Some of them
- 6:31you still can. But but a lot of them have moved
- 6:34away from that. So if you go into like the website,
- 6:37have I been flocked dot com? That way, that's
- 6:42a real website. It aggregates a lot of that data
- 6:46from those transparency portals and stuff that
- 6:49people get from like public records. And it's
- 6:52just like the searches that are being done. But
- 6:56I think he was going to put together like the
- 6:57contract, you know, maybe how it's being used,
- 7:02you know, any policies, something simple. But
- 7:06he seems open to doing, you know, if the community
- 7:08doesn't want him, he seemed open to. you know
- 7:10trying to get rid of them the thing is is at
- 7:13the end of the day the mayor uh really has no
- 7:16say you know comes down to the city council um
- 7:19or or even you know the police department themselves
- 7:23yep or whatever contracts they're working under
- 7:26that are that are you know um what's the word
- 7:29i want that are predicate that predicate them
- 7:31i mean yeah figurehead well and but sometimes
- 7:36like here in wilder the the cameras were put
- 7:38in with just between the police chief and the
- 7:40mayor. The police chief said, oh, I have some
- 7:43extra money. I'm going to go buy cameras that
- 7:46come below the procurement requirement. There
- 7:49was just in Kentucky, there's one of the sheriffs
- 7:53there. I can't remember which county it was.
- 7:55I was just watching the meeting yesterday. But
- 8:01essentially, the sheriff just kept coming under
- 8:03the procurement requirement, which is like 20
- 8:06,000. But he did it so many times that by the
- 8:09time they're done, they're spending 200 ,000
- 8:12on, on flock cameras. It was kind of like structuring
- 8:16with your, with your money with structuring is
- 8:18if you don't make deposits that are 10, like
- 8:20$10 ,001, the IRS goes ping and they watch you.
- 8:24But if you do, you know, 9 ,987 for some reason,
- 8:29it's not as big of a deal. Why didn't you pick
- 8:32this one? I was like, I was looking forward to
- 8:36it. And then all of a sudden you veered off into
- 8:37like nine, seven. I don't have the sound drop
- 8:40you have the sound drop you did good Scott. I'm
- 8:41proud of you I want to play this this is from
- 8:44creme channel to you'll soon be paying more for
- 8:46your property tax in post falls the City Council
- 8:49approved a 4 % property tax increase as well
- 8:53as a 3 % increase that means for a $650 ,000
- 8:58home for example you'll pay about $25 more for
- 9:01the first year of the increase our news partners
- 9:04at the Coeur d 'Alene press report that inflation
- 9:06and population growth is most likely to blame
- 9:08for the tax hike mayor Randy Westland says the
- 9:12city is also planning to make some cuts you can
- 9:15see the city's plan on their website Listen one
- 9:18more time to that report that inflation and population
- 9:20growth is most likely inflation. Inflation and
- 9:23population growth. So just like covid forced
- 9:26the racketeer to close while allowing Home Depot
- 9:28to continue operating. Prohibition caused organized
- 9:31crime. Inflation caused rent control. Violent
- 9:33video games caused Columbine. 9 -11 caused the
- 9:35Patriot Act. Terrorism caused great grandmothers
- 9:38to have to take off their shoes at airport security.
- 9:40The city's budget caused tax increases. AI caused
- 9:43all those employees to be fired and crime is
- 9:45crime is causing. the installation of ALPRs and
- 9:50spoons made Oprah fat. I think these ALPRs are
- 9:53what's driving these tax increases because these
- 9:55never existed really in the state but before
- 9:582023. So like Nampa for instance since they first
- 10:02started putting them in in 22, well 22 I guess,
- 10:05so in 22 but from 22 to now they've spent six
- 10:08million dollars so in four years they spent six
- 10:10million dollars. And so, and so now the police,
- 10:14the police are saying, we need money. We need
- 10:16money. We want, and they're trying to put a $5
- 10:18million levy. And, and it's like, well, you spent
- 10:226 million to stalk people. I mean, the, we need
- 10:27money refrain is, is not new at all. Right. But
- 10:30every year it just, it gets bigger and bigger
- 10:32and bigger. What did you guys spend your Schmeckles
- 10:35on last year? Oh, uh, watching you. Surveillance.
- 10:39Now we need more. Money. Well, think about every
- 10:43time you get like a new like a new subscription,
- 10:45right? There's so many streaming services. You
- 10:47can only get so many. Right. And so as they continue
- 10:50with mass surveillance, they're just extending
- 10:52their budget, extending their budget. I'd much
- 10:54rather see, you know, us pay officers a decent
- 10:57amount of money, not, you know, talk to everyone.
- 11:03We need money for neither. How about I keep my
- 11:11money and if I want security I'll pay for security
- 11:15and then you know then I don't have road pirates
- 11:17harassing me on the road because I violate some
- 11:20arbitrary bullshit law I didn't vote for or agree
- 11:22to like five miles over the speed limit. Yeah,
- 11:25yeah, good stuff like that. Paul is a wild -eyed
- 11:27anarchist, Tyler, just so you know. Yeah, I'm
- 11:30a crazy person. I believe in peacefully existing
- 11:33free trade. Don't hurt people. Don't take their
- 11:35stuff. It's pretty nutso over here. Yeah, I think
- 11:38you should try and follow Melissa Wintrow's advice,
- 11:41Paul, rather than thinking like that. We all
- 11:43just pay our fair share, right? This is from
- 11:45NPR. First up this morning, Idaho began its new
- 11:49fiscal year in July, and tax collections last
- 11:52month came in higher than predicted, but a little
- 11:55less compared to a year ago. Here's James Dawson
- 11:57to break down the numbers. Idahoans and visitors
- 12:00shelled out far more than anticipated at the
- 12:02checkout line last month. The state raked in
- 12:05about 15 % more in sales tax than in July 2025,
- 12:09accounting for nearly half of the state's revenue.
- 12:12personal income tax collections are up slightly
- 12:14compared to the state's official forecast by
- 12:17about 15 million. They got more of our labor
- 12:19than we anticipated. They're up slightly compared
- 12:21to the state's official forecast by about 15
- 12:24million dollars. That's nearly 25 percent lower
- 12:27than last July's collections though. But fear
- 12:31not, citizen, it's less. We took more from you,
- 12:35but fear not, it's less. Do you remember the
- 12:37good times last July? Miscellaneous revenue chipped
- 12:41in an extra $15 million over expectations. Overall,
- 12:46the state took in $361 .8 million last month,
- 12:50which is slightly higher than economists predicted.
- 12:53Governor Little is telling state agencies to
- 12:55make do with flat budgets for a second year in
- 12:57a row to accommodate significant tax cuts. We
- 13:00took in more and you have to make do with what
- 13:03you got. Use what you already have. To accommodate
- 13:05significant tax cuts made over the last several
- 13:08years and a post COVID economy. James Dawson.
- 13:12Post -COVID economy. Okay. So again, COVID caused
- 13:14the economy, all of the agency being laundered
- 13:17out of the language by the media as a media deconstruction
- 13:21program. We always like to point out how agency
- 13:24and decision -making and actual policy All of
- 13:28these inanimate objects create policy according
- 13:31to how the media frames these stories on behalf
- 13:33of the state. Yeah man if we were out there hunting
- 13:36like we could we could kill all of these things
- 13:38just by saying they inflation it was coming right
- 13:40at us. I had to put it down. Let's do some flock
- 13:47stuff. This is now a non Idaho affiliate of Fox.
- 13:51This is Fox 31 Denver. A Denver woman says that
- 13:55she was wrongfully accused of theft after police
- 13:58tracked her car using flat cameras. Now, the
- 14:00camera system has been a point of controversy
- 14:02over privacy concerns, but it's been a praise
- 14:04tool by police who have used it successfully
- 14:06to track down suspects and make arrests. But
- 14:08after the system was used to accuse her of a
- 14:10crime, one woman is warning everyone to have
- 14:12cameras of their own. Fox 31's Anna Kuhn sat
- 14:15down with her and has her story tonight. Anna?
- 14:18Hey guys, well the Columbine Valley Police Chief
- 14:20has since voided the court summons against this
- 14:23woman, but she says she never should have been
- 14:24accused in the first place. She says her car
- 14:27was never at the address where that package was
- 14:30stolen. You know we have cameras in that now
- 14:33Paul. This is you sent me this few couple few
- 14:36weeks ago, or maybe it's two weeks ago. I wanted
- 14:37to wait for Tyler to be on this and this is Tyler
- 14:40on this one. You sent me the reason TV had the
- 14:43actual like body cam footage of this incident
- 14:45that's being covered here on Fox 31 Denver. So
- 14:48this is the the news affiliate playing little
- 14:51snippets of that exchange, which you say I have
- 14:53the whole thing, but we might not need to play
- 14:55it. But listen to some of the reason is a yeah,
- 14:58they're a libertarian think tank slash news agency,
- 15:01basically. So everything comes from a liberty
- 15:03minded angle. And they're they're on point, though.
- 15:05They get their facts right. They get their shit
- 15:07straight. Just like. Well, just like libertarian
- 15:10think tanks tend to do. And I think everything
- 15:13you need to know about how law enforcement operates,
- 15:15how the government in general behaves, and how
- 15:19surveillance is bad. Okay, all in one sound clip
- 15:23here all in one basically issue that a citizen
- 15:25has already experienced everything you need to
- 15:27know. You know, we have cameras in that town.
- 15:30You can't get a breath of fresh air in or out
- 15:31of that place without us knowing, correct? You
- 15:33can't breathe. On September 27th, the Columbine
- 15:35Valley police officer came to Chrisanna Elser's
- 15:38door and issued her a summons to appear in court,
- 15:41accusing her of stealing a $25 package in the
- 15:44town of Beaumar. The officer said he had doorbell
- 15:47video of the theft and had tracked her car in
- 15:49the area using flock cameras. It is locked in.
- 15:53There is zero doubt. I wouldn't have come here
- 15:55unless... Zero doubt. One hundred percent. The
- 15:58only problem with this case, she wasn't there
- 16:01and she had the evidence to prove it. Dash camera
- 16:04video. Boy, good thing this innocent woman had
- 16:06to prove her innocence, right? Because she was
- 16:08guilty until she proved her innocence. One hundred
- 16:12percent lock. You sure about that? dash camera
- 16:16video from her car. A log of her location from
- 16:19Google Maps and doorbell video of her walking
- 16:21into her tailors house when the package was stolen.
- 16:25He just kept telling me that any evidence I had
- 16:27wasn't worth it because you have not been honest
- 16:30with me, so I'm not going to extend you any courtesy
- 16:32of showing you a video when I don't mean when
- 16:33I can show you videos. After a few weeks, Elsa
- 16:37was able to get in touch with the police chief
- 16:39who wrote her in an email quote after reviewing
- 16:42evidence you have provided. done by the way we
- 16:45have voided the summons that was issued she shouldn't
- 16:49have needed to prove her innocence and worries
- 16:52flock cameras can paint a picture police will
- 16:54rely too heavily on they need to be used properly
- 16:58versus we're now going to use this to accuse
- 17:06anybody and everybody We did reach out. Okay,
- 17:09hold on real quick. This lady just experienced
- 17:11this and is drinking, I guarantee you she's a
- 17:14leftist. She has to be a leftist or I guess maybe
- 17:18a neocon because they drink the other, the blue
- 17:21Kool -Aid, the deep blue Kool -Aid. So she could
- 17:22be either a neocon or a hardcore leftist. They're
- 17:24both kind of the same. They love authority and
- 17:27boot leather. They just argue over the flavor
- 17:29of the boot leather. But the fact that this lady
- 17:31goes through this and comes out on the other
- 17:33side and says, you see, the only issue here is
- 17:36that it just wasn't used properly on me. And
- 17:40that's the beef I've got. I mean, my God, how
- 17:43could you come out of this experience and not
- 17:44be like, and we need to hacksaw all of these
- 17:47motherfucking machines down right now. So I've
- 17:51been bringing up the argument that so when you
- 17:53look at flock flock safety, right? So at first
- 17:55you think it's a safety tool and then once you
- 17:57boil it down even further then you're like, okay
- 18:00Well, it is a surveillance tool, but it's really
- 18:02not even a surveillance tool It's a pre -crime
- 18:05tool because it's investigating Everyone absent
- 18:09everyone every person that that travels it is
- 18:12investigating without any probable cause or a
- 18:17warrant and so it is a pre -crime tool it's not
- 18:21even a surveillance tool and so it can't be used
- 18:23correctly we can't um and we can't even put you
- 18:28know guard rails guard rails are a mute point
- 18:30you can't put guard rails when tyranny is a software
- 18:33patch away um well you got a lot to unpack there
- 18:37tyler too because you've got like like what we
- 18:38talk about with um with public education is something
- 18:41that comes up a lot. I'll use that as another
- 18:43example when you say, well, it can't be used
- 18:44correctly, yada, yada, yada. I would make the
- 18:47same argument for, damn near anything the government
- 18:50does. But education is a great one where people
- 18:51go, it's broken. And I say, no, it's not broken.
- 18:54It's doing exactly what it's designed to do.
- 18:56That's this mass surveillance network they're
- 18:58setting up with Flock, Motorola, Axon, you name
- 19:00it, whatever name brand or bottom shelf brand.
- 19:04It's doing exactly what it's designed to do.
- 19:06And it has nothing to do with safety, like you're
- 19:08saying. It's too bad that a tyranny is a software
- 19:11patch away. It's slightly long for a show title,
- 19:14but it's strong. I like it I want to get your
- 19:16I want to get your thoughts Tyler on this this
- 19:19take is from the no agenda show the mothership
- 19:23Sir, Ducifer guest hosting with Adam Ducifer
- 19:26had a really interesting take on could you mention
- 19:29hacksawing these things down and why this poor
- 19:31lady this sufferer of Stockholm syndrome who
- 19:33has this happen to her and thinks that the Kidnappers
- 19:36just weren't quite giving her the right mutton
- 19:38and meat. I don't know If only we had used this
- 19:41violence with just the right people using just
- 19:44the right amount of violence and just the right
- 19:45way, then we'd be all right. Yeah, if the tyranny
- 19:48had just a slightly different software patch.
- 19:51Anyway, this is Deucifers take on the whole,
- 19:54you know, the hacksawing of the flock cameras
- 19:56and the or the backing of trouble. We've done
- 19:58it on this program and it seems to sort of be
- 20:00like a meme or whatever the people are destroying
- 20:03or taking down. flock cameras themselves, vigilante
- 20:07justice. Ducever's take was that that in itself
- 20:09is an op. Well and if they want to track you
- 20:12they're already tracking you through... the phone
- 20:15you carry around. And they're posting their fears
- 20:17on Instagram and TikTok, which is the literal
- 20:20Skynet. No, they're posting their crimes. They're
- 20:23like, let's cut down these flock cameras, which
- 20:25I think is, I was going to say this after I played
- 20:28some of these clips, but that's the psy -op of,
- 20:30hey, go cut down your local flock camera. Nothing
- 20:32will happen. I'm like, there's somebody running
- 20:34this thing to create a flock protection system.
- 20:38That is going to become really bad. You know,
- 20:40like right now it's just vandalism. Well, now
- 20:43it's going to be, Now you're messing with infrastructure
- 20:45and it's going to be some weird thing where they
- 20:47turn it around and go, now we're going to get
- 20:49you and it's 20 years in prison for touching
- 20:52a flat camera. That's what I think. Well, that's
- 20:55an interesting take. Well, that's where it leads.
- 20:58It always leads to that. We got to create something
- 21:01protected. So this is the surveillance system
- 21:04that we're creating or who's creating, we don't
- 21:06know, but there's other. Companies out there
- 21:08other than flock. Oh, yeah that are doing the
- 21:10same thing. How about how about and we don't
- 21:11hear about how about Amazon with the ring doorbells?
- 21:14Which everyone gladly put on their on their home
- 21:17Right and now they're clairvoyant. They can see
- 21:20in boxes So, what do you think about that that
- 21:23the whole you know destroy your local flock camera
- 21:26that that in itself is being run for? The purpose
- 21:29that ducifer just stated Sorry are you to say
- 21:34like What to try to promote other other brands?
- 21:39Well, I mean well That's funny that I don't know
- 21:42actually he was saying he's saying that it's
- 21:44to that's funny Maybe it is being it's being
- 21:46that's an op being run by Motorola That's really
- 21:51funny. No, I think ducifer is saying that it's
- 21:53being run by Who I don't know whatever set of
- 21:56reptiles such that oh, it's gonna allow for oh,
- 22:00there's gonna be special legislation There's
- 22:02gonna be this in this past so that like now these
- 22:04are specialty crimes that carry massive fines.
- 22:08And it'll make it impossible to touch this infrastructure.
- 22:13Yeah, I don't think so. I think people are generally
- 22:16just upset. Right. And and I'm not advocating
- 22:21for just going out. I think we're not quite to
- 22:23the point of, you know, just ripping down cameras
- 22:26or, you know, destroying infrastructure. And
- 22:29I think it does kind of harm our cause to a point
- 22:33where, you know, Where you're saying? Yeah, there
- 22:36might be legislation. There was actually a story
- 22:38out of it was in Claremont County Well, what
- 22:42is this Union Township? I think which state this
- 22:46was But the guy the guy a grand jury failed to
- 22:49indict him for cutting down cameras Almost like
- 22:53a jury nullification But you know, it's already
- 22:57a felony down here in Idaho the Flock intentionally
- 23:03sets the value at $1 ,500 to replace them and
- 23:05at the $1 ,500. So that is a felony. So that
- 23:08is, so that's a felony. Um, so there's already
- 23:11strict laws against it. They may try to push
- 23:14something else. I hope they just get rid of them,
- 23:15right? That would be the solution would be to
- 23:18legislate, to get rid of them, to ban them, to
- 23:21stand for the constitution and the fourth amendment,
- 23:23not to, you know, Not funny, Tyler. Yeah, I mean
- 23:30we have some interest. There seems to be some
- 23:31interest to do something and I'm hoping that
- 23:34they do the right thing and realize that you
- 23:36can't. You can't fix this. There's no. There's
- 23:39no safe way to implement this. I have a comment
- 23:43and then a question. First, I think, unfortunately,
- 23:46I don't think there's any hope on this. I really
- 23:48don't. Now, I'm a pessimist by trade, and I usually
- 23:51win because of that. But I think what they'll
- 23:54do is go the opposite direction. And it's only
- 23:57a matter of time before, even at the federal
- 23:59level, they will classify it as an act of terror.
- 24:01You will be labeled a domestic terrorist if you
- 24:04touch any of these surveillance systems, anything.
- 24:07Because if there's one thing we know about the...
- 24:10Yeah, yeah, and it's so I mean that's not an
- 24:12op that's not a Psy op that's just Do you notice
- 24:15things? To have you paid attention to the last
- 24:18I don't know 10 ,000 years of how the government
- 24:21works But especially the last hundred years now
- 24:23the technology has made it possible for them
- 24:25to insert themselves into every single minute
- 24:27of every day of our lives You know, that's that's
- 24:30one of the big differences between I guess modern
- 24:33history or modern life and the last 10 ,000 you
- 24:37know, years of history, is now the government
- 24:39really has the tools to do this to us. So I think
- 24:43it's only a matter of time before, yeah, you're
- 24:45now you're a domestic terrorist, just like they've
- 24:47done with everything else. It's interesting,
- 24:48because, you know, every time, and I think a
- 24:51lot of people don't realize any law or even,
- 24:56you know, just, you know, penalties, but everything
- 24:59the government does bears the full weight of
- 25:01the government. And that's the exact position
- 25:03that that that one lady we're talking about stealing
- 25:05a stealing a box, right? They shouldn't even
- 25:08steal Amazon box, but the government goes in
- 25:10with their full weight of their flock cameras
- 25:12and says you did this 100%. And so and so yeah,
- 25:17I mean, hopefully they don't come. Hopefully
- 25:19they don't come out with, you know, not hopefully
- 25:21that they don't come out with a law saying it's
- 25:23terrorism to do this. But I think it's terrorism
- 25:25to put the cameras up to start with. I think
- 25:27it's terrorism on the people, you know. Sure,
- 25:31with tyranny, but again, we're beating what's
- 25:34basically a dead horse. We're like, what? We're
- 25:371 % of the population that actually cares. There's
- 25:4050 % that pay lip service. There's maybe, I don't
- 25:43know, 20 % that do slightly more of the lip service.
- 25:45And then there's like 1 % of us that are like,
- 25:47yeah, we could actually maybe do something about
- 25:50this. I don't want to be on the list. It only
- 25:53took 3 % for the American Revolution. Sure, but
- 25:57hey, I mean you're not wrong and I think a movement
- 26:00can be you know Things can be more effective
- 26:01than people think but it can feel pretty lonely
- 26:05So then my question is Which I actually just
- 26:11forgot because we ran down a couple other trails
- 26:13damn it it was a damn good question You'd think
- 26:15about it Well, you you you you ponder it if you'd
- 26:19like it was something to do with Idaho and the
- 26:21flock stuff and it was actually gonna bring it
- 26:23back home here, but Damn, he was going to land
- 26:26the plane and now we just have to do a hold.
- 26:27I was. Yeah. He had me circle around the runway
- 26:32a couple of times and then I ran out of fuel
- 26:33and I crashed and burned. Thanks. The ground
- 26:35proximity warning system is going off. What should
- 26:37we do? Maintain the holding pattern that Claremont
- 26:42County, by the way, is in Ohio. You were thinking
- 26:44of, I think, Tyler. Oh, yeah. Cincinnati area.
- 26:46Yeah. So let's play while Paul is considering
- 26:49trying to remember what his amazing question
- 26:51was. Oh, I remember. I remember one of the things
- 26:54was kind of back to the terrorism thing. When
- 26:57Tyler mentioned the full weight and force of
- 26:59the state, one of the other things I wanted to
- 27:01mention is that if you want to really feel the
- 27:04full weight and force of the state, you just
- 27:06make an attack on them or a perceived attack.
- 27:10So like the fellow who smashed a couple of windows
- 27:12at the Kootenai County building. They ring them
- 27:15up for domestic terror. That's a Ryan McClintock
- 27:17I don't know if you saw any of this Yeah, rather
- 27:19when it was out back and I think about April.
- 27:20I guess I'll go arrest Bob Norris my fucking
- 27:22soul Did you see any of that story and the guy
- 27:24took a baseball bat? I've seen some of it because
- 27:26I've done some videos with Dan Wilson. So I've
- 27:30heard some okay. I'm not super Educated on the
- 27:35topic, but I know I know that it happened Yeah,
- 27:38well, you don't need to be for what we're discussing.
- 27:40Basically, the concept is that a citizen, whether
- 27:42they're in their right mind or not, makes an
- 27:45attack on the government, any branch of government,
- 27:48perceived or real attack, it doesn't matter.
- 27:50The state will always, that's when you really
- 27:52feel the full force of them. So with this issue
- 27:55with the cameras, with the security system, that's
- 27:58why I'm saying, yeah, it's a matter of time before
- 28:00we go from being felons to domestic terrorists.
- 28:03And either way, They're not happy when we touch
- 28:06their toes. I'm sure we're probably they make
- 28:08us pay for Of course we are For your work with
- 28:12the flock we are for all the memes we post. I
- 28:15mean, you know, we're We're enemies of each of
- 28:18us has a fed boy. I guarantee it. Oh, well what
- 28:21I just saw was the there was this case it was
- 28:25I can't remember her name, but the in It was
- 28:28in New York. She was threatening to like destroy
- 28:31the New York like the state house and but the
- 28:36but the FBI started talking to her in chats and
- 28:40then like coaxed her into wanting to do this
- 28:43there's like pictures of of them have like pictures
- 28:46of her at Home Depot that they took like standing
- 28:48over her at the checkout stand because they drove
- 28:50her to Home Depot to buy ingredients for for
- 28:53an inert bomb This is Tyler you're talking about
- 28:57Jessica Bowie from Albany and she was Arrested
- 29:01like but the Isis inspired plot against the New
- 29:03York State Capitol in Albany. Is that who you're
- 29:05talking about? Yeah, yeah the exactly that but
- 29:09but what's funny is is it was all it was all
- 29:12the FBI the FBI holder held her hand through
- 29:14the whole thing It's like the definition of an
- 29:17entrapment. Yep. There's a name for it. The phenomenon
- 29:20is called the six -week cycle And it happens
- 29:23all the time and we've covered it on this program
- 29:25and not in a while They'll they'll find some
- 29:2718 year old kid with a bad mustache and they'll
- 29:30they'll sit they'll have operatives talking to
- 29:31him for a year and the operatives will walk him
- 29:33through buying Explosives and then at the last
- 29:36second they'll tackle him and zip tie him and
- 29:38show how they thwarted it. That's called the
- 29:40six -week cycle It's well documented. Yep Because,
- 29:44ladies and gentlemen, we got him. We got him.
- 29:47They arrest that lady. And then what was funny
- 29:50is the FBI goes up there, and they're like, there's
- 29:53this clip, and it's the, whoever is in charge
- 29:56of that FBI office, and he's like... He's up
- 29:59there. He's like, yeah, and those cameras what
- 30:01are the name of them again? They oh flock those
- 30:04cameras really helped us in this investigation
- 30:06But it's like they told the person they told
- 30:08the person to meet them and when when they met
- 30:10them They they like she got out of the car and
- 30:12they tackled her, you know We got her we caught
- 30:16her with the flock cameras But like that in a
- 30:21nutshell lady up You should set this lady up.
- 30:25Behold your government. This is how it behaves.
- 30:27It makes me think of the plot to kidnap the Michigan
- 30:30governor back in 2020, Whitmer. Gretchen Hitler,
- 30:33yeah. Yeah, Gretchen Hitler. That was a big thing
- 30:37back in, I think it was October of 2020. But
- 30:40it turns out it was all the fucking FBI putting
- 30:42it together. A couple of people who were pretty
- 30:45pissed off about... living under a tyrant who
- 30:47started to mumble about it. And the FBI gets
- 30:50involved and goes, hey, you know what we should
- 30:51do? Let's go kidnap the governor. And they're
- 30:54like, well, we hadn't thought of that. But let's
- 30:56do it. OK. And then they all get their asses
- 30:59thrown in jail. Yeah. This is from are you going
- 31:02to I got it right here. I want to tell you can
- 31:04hear this is from episode three of this program
- 31:06entitled. Sorry, excuse me, titled flame sword
- 31:09from April 2024. The shocking arrest of an 18
- 31:14year old in Coeur d 'Alene for allegedly planning
- 31:17terrorist attacks in the name of ISIS. Alexander
- 31:20Mercurio pleaded not guilty to providing material
- 31:23support to ISIS in a federal courtroom today.
- 31:26He is now set to go to trial at the end of May.
- 31:29Alexander Mercurio was ar for allegedly planning
- 31:33to Messages uncovered by the FBI show Mercurio
- 31:41allegedly planned to use weapons, including firearms,
- 31:45knives and a flame sword to kill as many people
- 31:48as possible. An indictment filed in this case
- 31:51says Mercurio is charged with attempting to provide
- 31:54material support to a designated foreign terrorist
- 31:57organization. He pleaded not guilty to this and
- 32:00denied the criminal forfeiture allegation, which
- 32:03means he does not want the court to seize his
- 32:05property if convicted. Coeur d 'Alene Mayor Jim
- 32:10Hammond says the 18 year olds alleged plans are
- 32:13not tolerated in the community Not tolerated
- 32:17living in North, Idaho Crazy to think that they
- 32:21could get any sympathy from anybody else Regarding
- 32:25Isis or any support for any kind of similar organization?
- 32:30All right. All right. We got it's good cause
- 32:33Yeah, but uh the other one I was gonna refer
- 32:35to was a few years further back was well when
- 32:38they Arrested a bunch of quote -unquote proud
- 32:40boys who were gonna disrupt a pride event Which
- 32:44is actually kind of ironic when you think about
- 32:46it the proud boys disrupting a pride event in
- 32:49Coeur d 'Alene and they arrested a box truck
- 32:54full of them and it turns out a bunch of them
- 32:56were Not real people either If anybody thinks
- 33:01that we're safe up here in North Idaho, no. Coeur
- 33:04d 'Alene, Cooney County is a spot, man, where
- 33:06the feds hang out. The feds absolutely hang out
- 33:09here in North Idaho. We're a hot spot on the
- 33:11map, guarantee it. But Tyler knows about that,
- 33:13too. Yeah, sorry. I lost you guys for a second.
- 33:16I had to refresh. Yeah, it's real interesting,
- 33:21right? Like, I don't understand. Is Isis real,
- 33:25or is Isis just the FBI? That's a fair and interesting
- 33:30question. No, no, the CIA. Isis is the CIA. It
- 33:35is pretty wild. All right, let's do a couple
- 33:37more on the flock thing. This, before I want
- 33:39to sort of, we'll land the plane with the, what's
- 33:43going on in your hometown. Because I got questions
- 33:44for Tyler. Yeah, go right ahead. Yeah, we can
- 33:47play more clips anytime if you got them, go.
- 33:50Well, I'm really I'm rolling the tape back actually
- 33:53a little bit when I where I kind of wanted to
- 33:55start this episode Which was Tyler you're doing
- 33:59the D flock thing. You're the main man behind
- 34:01it How did that come about because I don't know
- 34:05how did this become your life? Yeah Yeah, how
- 34:07does Tyler Kane start doing D flock, Idaho? How
- 34:10and why so D flock Idaho wasn't a thing and so
- 34:14started in April, so it's pretty relatively new
- 34:18page I was never super politically involved.
- 34:24Kind of going back to the beginning is our city
- 34:28here in Wilder decided to try to do this firearms
- 34:33ordinance. It actually kind of goes back before
- 34:36that. So I went and I paid my water bill a day
- 34:41late. and they tacked a $20 late fee on it. But
- 34:47instead of just charging it to like the next
- 34:49bill, they called me and said, oh, you paid your
- 34:52water bill, but we're gonna come shut your water
- 34:55off over a $20 late fee. And I was like, you're
- 34:59threatening me. Anyways, it was like, I'm like,
- 35:01why are you calling me doing this rude threatening?
- 35:04phone call, like, just charge me it next time.
- 35:07But anyways, after that, I started paying kind
- 35:09of close attention to what they were doing in
- 35:11the city. And then they started to try to pass
- 35:13this no discharge of firearms ordinance. I don't
- 35:16know what theirs originally was. But in 2017,
- 35:18when the constitutional carry took effect in
- 35:21Idaho, their law, their ordinance became illegal.
- 35:27And so they instead of fixing it, they just removed
- 35:29it completely. And so what that that so the city
- 35:33for almost for nine, almost 10 years, didn't
- 35:35have, uh, no discharge of firearms ordinance
- 35:39within the city. It's already addressed, you
- 35:42know, at a state level, at a county level, but
- 35:44the city decided they needed to be involved in
- 35:46this. Um, even though they, yeah, they needed,
- 35:50they need a metal in it, even though they've,
- 35:52you know, everyone's been fine and safe for nine
- 35:54years. And so they go to make this ordinance
- 35:58and it was so restrictive that it would have
- 35:59banned a nerf gun. Like it literally would have,
- 36:02sorry, actually I went down to the city hall
- 36:04and I started talking and I'm like, it would
- 36:05ban a nerf gun. And she's like, no, it would
- 36:07ban the discharge of a nerf gun. And I'm like,
- 36:09you're seriously, you're seriously like, you're
- 36:11okay with the, you're okay with this? Like, we're
- 36:14going to make, we're going to make children criminals
- 36:16now, you know? Hey, wait, you've just banned
- 36:18cars. No, no, no, that's okay. We've just banned
- 36:20the driving of cars. Well, how do I get it out
- 36:22of my driveway? Oh, that's on you boo. Restrictive.
- 36:27Restrictive. It's so, um, I'm like, I'm like,
- 36:30what the heck? And so, uh, I went into the community
- 36:34pages and I'm like, Hey, like, why are we trying
- 36:36to pass this ordinance? Like we need to do something.
- 36:39Um, and they actually, they tabled that for awhile.
- 36:42Um, but anyways, around that time, so around
- 36:44the beginning of the year, there was a story
- 36:46from Idaho new six about flock cameras in Caldwell.
- 36:49And I was like, wow those are interesting and
- 36:52i did just you know blanket just a little bit
- 36:54of research more of like a whomf you know and
- 36:57uh didn't think about it again and then i i started
- 37:00noticing him in caldwell and and but one day
- 37:02all of a sudden i noticed one in wilder and and
- 37:05if you've seen like flock cameras and stuff like
- 37:07once you see one you can't unsee it it's like
- 37:09the matrix in that way and so um and once they
- 37:14see you They can't unsee you. Oh, don't worry.
- 37:17No, they're only seeing your license plate. They
- 37:18just need to get a better picture of your face.
- 37:20Right. Right. Right. And then they keep the data
- 37:24safe and they use it only for non nefarious purposes.
- 37:28For seven days. Fox sells the data to like...
- 37:32to private companies so they'll sell it to whoever
- 37:35buys it from them so they can so private companies
- 37:37can tell they could tell the where the origination
- 37:40is so they have a whole page dedicated to traffic
- 37:43it's like traffic uh and analytics or something
- 37:46and so they'll give they'll sell it's uh it's
- 37:50non uh what is it like where they strip it of
- 37:53data they they're of identifiable information
- 37:56they'll they say so they say so they say but
- 37:59they can tell like oh i had customers driving
- 38:01from you know, wilder to Caldwell to come buy
- 38:05my whatever they, whatever you want to go buy.
- 38:09So it's crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Flock selling
- 38:11day selling our data. Inconceivable. Quadruple
- 38:17dipping those bastards. They get paid on the
- 38:19contracts. They get paid on the hardware. They
- 38:21get paid on the maintenance. They get paid on
- 38:22the software. They get paid to provide the data.
- 38:26that they want that the government wants, and
- 38:28they get to sell data to private companies as
- 38:31well. Shit, that's like quintuple sextuple dipping.
- 38:35Yeah, sort of. Do you want to hear a quick clip
- 38:37where we hear from a little bit from the founder
- 38:39of this apparatus before Tyler continues? Well,
- 38:43in a sec, I have another question. Is your Tyler
- 38:45is your town because it is reminiscent of some
- 38:48of the smaller towns up here that you would that
- 38:50you would think would be like bastions of die
- 38:53hard. you know, leave us the fuck alone attitude
- 38:55because they're more in more rural Idaho and
- 38:57they're smaller towns. Wilder. I said they just,
- 39:00they just turn out to be run by leftist boomers.
- 39:03Is that wilder? Is that why you guys are dealing
- 39:05with this? Um, you know, what's, I don't even
- 39:09know that I think so. 65 people voted in the
- 39:13last city election. Wow. 65? 65. That's it. Out
- 39:18of 1700. Out of, yeah. And there's, there's,
- 39:21there's a, we have a large Hispanic population.
- 39:25Um, and, and, you know, like migrant, where's
- 39:28migrant workers and stuff that come through.
- 39:30Um, and so I don't, I don't, there's only like
- 39:33400, there's only like 400 and uh, 60 registered
- 39:38voters. So overall it's just low numbers across
- 39:41the board. Um, people aren't very politically
- 39:44involved and I think that's what's allowed us
- 39:46to get here. We have a, we have an ordinance
- 39:48here for, uh, yard sales. It's a misdemeanor.
- 39:53If I put, if so, okay, I have to wake up two
- 39:56days before I have to go down to city hall. I
- 39:59have to give them $5 for a yard sale permit and
- 40:05then come home. and then wait my two days, put
- 40:08my sign up, I have to put the sign up in my front
- 40:11yard. And then I can have my yard sale. And I
- 40:15can only do that three times a year. What? OK,
- 40:19wait, wait, wait. So you have to have a permit.
- 40:21They only give you three permits a year. So you're
- 40:23up to three yard sales a year. You got to give
- 40:26them two days notice. You have to have a permit.
- 40:28You get to pay for the permit. More than three
- 40:30items is considered a yard sale. Three items.
- 40:34Whoa. So, so, well, I wait, hold on though. We've
- 40:37got to fix it. Tyler, every, so what you need
- 40:39to do and you make it last for three weeks and
- 40:43you just put out three items a day or what you
- 40:46could do is put, put out a, whatever you want
- 40:49to put out and then just market is free. OBO
- 40:52C owner. And then you negotiate in the garage.
- 40:56Hey, I'm not selling these. They're free. The
- 40:59thing is, you know, I'm taking donations. It
- 41:02goes back to that full weight of the government.
- 41:04So it's, it's a misdemeanor. So if you don't
- 41:06hit all of those requirements, it's a misdemeanor
- 41:09and up to I think $500 fine. And people have
- 41:13just allowed these, you know, these things, it's
- 41:16the same thing as the, you know, if people hadn't
- 41:18shown up against the, the discharge of a nerf
- 41:21gun ordinance, you know, they would have passed
- 41:24that. And, um, it would have banned construction
- 41:27in this city cause it didn't allow construction
- 41:30like. Like the nail guns, they would have banned
- 41:33a pneumatic nail gun. The way it was wrote. I
- 41:37don't know if you've ever seen that. The best
- 41:38way to build a vibrant community is to completely
- 41:41make it illegal to construct anything. Yes, excellent.
- 41:44Well done, everyone. And you know what we hate,
- 41:47apparently? Children. You know what we hate even
- 41:49more? Children having fun. No Nerf guns. Fuck
- 41:52you. And no new homes. And so it just seems to
- 41:57be there's, you know, and I think a lot of these
- 41:59councils operate that way is they're just like
- 42:01rubber stamp factories and no one gets involved
- 42:05in the local politics and the people that are
- 42:08doing it are the people that really shouldn't
- 42:10be. Well, but that's the nature of it right there.
- 42:14I apologize for interrupting you, Tyler, but
- 42:16I want to throw it out there. That is the nature
- 42:18of the state. And that is why I'm an anarchist.
- 42:20You've hit it on the head is because the people
- 42:22who get involved initially anyways and who are
- 42:25the meddlers and who take the take the levers
- 42:27of power they are the ones who absolutely should
- 42:29be nowhere fucking near it everybody else we're
- 42:32busy living our lives right providing for our
- 42:34families doing our things leaving people alone
- 42:36like you're supposed to do so any every town
- 42:40every county every state they're like this the
- 42:43most people just want to live their lives they
- 42:46don't care Then until something makes them care
- 42:49like in your guys's case the gun ordinance finally
- 42:51finally touches enough of a nerve We're just
- 42:54enough people are like, oh, okay. I am upset
- 42:57about this But you know for 20 years we didn't
- 42:59care and the same people got to make all these
- 43:01laws and now it's too late Because it's really
- 43:05hard to repeal really hard to repeal laws All
- 43:10these laws just stack right so we end up we end
- 43:13up going you know Every time we do a law, there's
- 43:16just another law behind it, and we just stack
- 43:17and stack and stack and stack and stack. And
- 43:19people will also come at you with like, well,
- 43:21it doesn't matter. They don't enforce most of
- 43:23them anyways. Well, until they do. And the moment
- 43:26they want to, they can. And then we go back to
- 43:29the full force and weight of the government.
- 43:32I was just reflecting on the irony of collecting
- 43:36coins for items, for the three items that you
- 43:39sell. at that yard sale and those coins having
- 43:43the word Liberty printed on them. Somehow like
- 43:46when this is a question we ask on the on this
- 43:48program a lot like is Liberty of value for all
- 43:51of the the the reasons that one somebody who
- 43:54is for this type of thing might give you for
- 43:57why yes, why there was implemented, we'll see
- 43:59there was this one yard sale, where they were
- 44:01selling, you know, COVID written, blah, blah,
- 44:04blah. And then all these people get like what
- 44:05whatever reason they would give you for why these
- 44:08regulations that we need to manage the dissemination
- 44:11of these types of yard sales is liberty of value.
- 44:16Well, yes, that's just a value that almost no
- 44:18one possesses truly and even the people who think
- 44:20they do and espouse it Most of them don't possess
- 44:22it. It's why I argue with conservatives as much
- 44:24as I do Neo liberals and conservatives have their
- 44:28own bugaboos. Yeah, you know like I'm I hate
- 44:31the government But don't you take away my Medicare
- 44:34my Social Security and I super duper back the
- 44:36blue also Pot should be illegal. In fact, every
- 44:40drug I don't like should be illegal, but alcohol
- 44:43and Oxycontin are okay My flavor of boot leather
- 44:46is the best. Here is, this is now, this has of
- 44:51course become a big national thing. Motorola,
- 44:55not so much. Flock, definitely. Here is CBS,
- 44:58the national. Network doing an interview with
- 45:01flocks founder. It's this is very truncated and
- 45:03I didn't do this editing This is how they edited
- 45:05it turning now to the latest twist in the controversy
- 45:08over the surveillance company flock Nationwide
- 45:11it has more than 120 ,000 cameras used by more
- 45:13than 6 ,000 law enforcement agencies But there
- 45:16have been claims that these license plate readers
- 45:18may have been misused by some officers for stock
- 45:21there have been claims Claims just claims including
- 45:25for stocking Flock CEO Garrett Langley just announced
- 45:29new safety measures. He sat down with CBS's Anna
- 45:31Schechter for his very first network TV interview
- 45:34about the changes. Your license plate is registered
- 45:38as stolen license plates in our system. Are you
- 45:40serious? Dozens of drivers nationwide say they're
- 45:43being unfairly pulled over, some even at gunpoint.
- 45:46Keep your hands above your head. Due to alleged
- 45:48misuse of flock safety's license plate readers,
- 45:50and it's not just mistakes causing concern. This
- 45:53week, three Georgia police officers were added
- 45:55to a growing list of cops accused of misusing
- 45:58the camera technology to allegedly stalk citizens,
- 46:01including ex wives and girlfriends. I don't think
- 46:04that created. Police abuse. I mean, can you put
- 46:07yourself in those women's shoes? No, it's horrible
- 46:10and I apologize. Did you take enough responsibility?
- 46:14I got something for this. Hold on. I got something
- 46:18for this. Where are you? Where are you? Where
- 46:20are you? There you are. Hey, so women are being
- 46:23stalked and dudes are getting held at gunpoint
- 46:26and the system is making mistakes, but also it
- 46:30allows people with an authority complex to have
- 46:33even more authority. What do you have to say
- 46:35about that? and to all those affected i want
- 46:37to say we are deeply sorry we're sorry we're
- 46:45sorry no it's horrible and i apologize that's
- 46:52definitely your soundboard material i heard apologize
- 46:54i heard a thing where the uh you know someone
- 46:58someone had told me once they were saying that
- 47:00why are we giving these these the stocking tool
- 47:03to the group of people that has the highest rate
- 47:06of domestic violence. Yes, I was going to bring
- 47:10it up. I'm so glad you did, Tyler. Thank you.
- 47:12Thank you. Thank you. Laughs in 42%. No, it's
- 47:18horrible. And that's just the cases we know.
- 47:20Well, when questioned, officer fill in the blank
- 47:24said the following. No, it's horrible and I apologize.
- 47:27Did you take enough responsibility? I would never
- 47:31ever beat my wife, but I also won't stop all
- 47:34of my buddies from beating theirs. And I would
- 47:36never tattle on them because we're a brotherhood.
- 47:40Enough responsibility soon enough? I think hindsight
- 47:43is a brutal tool. Of course, we could have done
- 47:47more earlier and we listen. and we learn, and
- 47:51we'll continue to be born. In response, CEO Garrett
- 47:54Langley says he is rolling out new safety measures,
- 47:57including cutting data storage time from 30 days
- 47:59to seven. I thought he was going to say, including
- 48:01cutting down flock cameras. No, no, that would,
- 48:04unless you, those are Motorola employees running
- 48:06an op on behalf of their business model. Including
- 48:09cutting data storage time from 30 days to seven.
- 48:12And in January, Flock will require all of its
- 48:14roughly 6 ,000 law enforcement agency clients
- 48:17to opt in to what's called audit assistance,
- 48:19which flags any potential police misuse. Why
- 48:22didn't you make a requirement? They're going
- 48:25to investigate themselves. And what do you think
- 48:27they're going to find themselves? Don't worry.
- 48:31Only seven days instead of 31 now to misuse your
- 48:34data. We only have a week, so we got to be a
- 48:36little more a little more motivated and a little
- 48:38less lazy to misuse your data. Don't worry, though.
- 48:40You're in good hands. Why don't you make a requirement
- 48:42as soon as you created the technology? We've
- 48:44evolved there. We've always said we want local
- 48:47control. I think it's up to our elected officials
- 48:49to decide how long is this data retained? No,
- 48:52it isn't. Wait, did you see what he just did?
- 48:54He just did two things. He didn't answer the
- 48:57question, and so he deflected. Well, they edited
- 49:00it so heavily we really don't know how he answered
- 49:02it. He said, well, what we really want is for
- 49:05the locals to have control. So it was a brilliant
- 49:09deflection. Yeah. Well, but we don't local reptiles.
- 49:12They write and they don't. You can tell it's
- 49:14such it's so heavily edited. We don't we don't
- 49:16actually have any sense of how we actually answered
- 49:18the question. But the notion of like the the
- 49:22local officials. I think it's up to our elected
- 49:25officials to decide the thing that they're doing
- 49:28right now. And Flock is pushing for legislation.
- 49:30But when they're pushing for legislation and
- 49:33it's exactly what's happened here in Idaho. They're
- 49:36pushing for legislation because by legislating
- 49:39it, it allows it allows it. So with the I know
- 49:43code 14, um, 49, 1432, um, is the law that we
- 49:48have right now, but it expressly allows ALPR
- 49:51and it puts just terrible, terrible. It doesn't
- 49:55even really do anything as far as, um, restricting
- 49:58it, or it has absolutely no real enforceable
- 50:02punishment, um, for misuse, but. But by legislating,
- 50:07it allows it. And so what we've seen since because
- 50:09that came in effect in June of or July of twenty
- 50:13six or twenty five. And so since twenty five,
- 50:16these have exploded across the state because
- 50:18there's a law saying you can do this. And so
- 50:22it does two things. It it makes it almost impossible
- 50:25to challenge legally. And and this might be more
- 50:29important, especially for the for the long run.
- 50:32It gives. perceived legitimacy. So now if you
- 50:39are like us, and you, as usual, notice things,
- 50:43question things, especially question authority,
- 50:47well now we are the pariahs, we're the outsiders,
- 50:49because most of the NPCs who live on this planet
- 50:52Earth and who and who use legality as the bar
- 50:55or the litmus test for morality, well now it's
- 50:58okay, it's legitimate, hey, it's legal. So what
- 51:00are you guys belly -aching about? It's legal.
- 51:02The Idaho State Supreme, you know, I'm sure somebody
- 51:04will take a case to the Idaho Supreme Court at
- 51:06some point. It might even go all the way national,
- 51:08but it'll get to the Idaho Supreme Court and
- 51:10they'll be like, well, hey, it's been legislated.
- 51:12It's written in here. It's legal. And so from
- 51:16then on, you alienate those of us leftover who
- 51:19still will fight the fight, but you make it legitimate
- 51:22in everybody else's minds. And then it becomes
- 51:25impossible to challenge. I heard a quote the
- 51:28other day, um, and it hasn't been released yet,
- 51:31but it's, um, you can't legislate morality. Correct.
- 51:35You literally can't. And, and, and I think, you
- 51:38know, flock cameras, it's 100 % an immoral thing
- 51:41to do to just spy on everyone and track everyone
- 51:44as they go about their travels. Um, and, and
- 51:47that's where, like the same thing where we were
- 51:49saying before, where, um, you know, tyranny is
- 51:52just a software patch away. There's really no
- 51:54way to just safely do this. They just need to
- 51:57go. We'll go this way because we knew it was
- 52:01going to happen. I'm going to bring it up first.
- 52:03I win. I win the race. Imagine what would have
- 52:06happened just six years ago, just six years ago
- 52:10during the 2020 bullshit where the state showed
- 52:13us, they tipped their hand and showed us what
- 52:16they were willing to do at all levels, at all
- 52:18levels, federal, state, county, city on down.
- 52:20what they were willing to do to us. Imagine what
- 52:24they could have done with this network that now
- 52:27exists and is growing. Yeah, there was a huge
- 52:30fight in Kentucky where they were there was like
- 52:32a church that had services during 2020 during
- 52:35COVID and the pastors like we're going to have
- 52:38these even with a lockdown. And the governor
- 52:43sent the the state police to go write down license
- 52:47plate numbers. So it's this funny equivalency
- 52:50where it's like, okay, we're saying we're just
- 52:52reading license plates, but. license plates contain
- 52:55identifiable information not to you and me we're
- 52:58not allowed to search you know what a what a
- 53:00license plate is tied to but but they have the
- 53:03system right there in front of them you know
- 53:05they're the ones they're the watchers they're
- 53:06the ones that have access to you know who's it
- 53:09registered to who's it whatever and so they wrote
- 53:11down all these license plates and then they sent
- 53:13them quarantine notices they gave all that information
- 53:16to the health departments and and gave the people
- 53:19that were attending these church services Yeah,
- 53:22the quarantine notices and so we've already there's
- 53:25a reason why they force us to register our vehicles
- 53:27It's it's a two. It's another two -pronged attack.
- 53:31It's revenue. It's a revenue scheme. It's rent
- 53:32-seeking It's a revenue scheme and it's so they
- 53:38can track us Because like you said everything
- 53:40they want to know about us All they got to do
- 53:42is run our plates see our driver's license see
- 53:44our carry permits see it where we live All kinds
- 53:47of stuff, but I'll do you one better It wasn't
- 53:50even in just Kentucky. Obviously, we know it
- 53:52was a lot of places this happened, but it was
- 53:53right in our own backyard. I mean, Moscow, Idaho
- 53:56was ground zero for the fight of church versus
- 53:59city. That was ground zero in Idaho. Remember,
- 54:02that was a big kerfuffle. One of the main more
- 54:05conservative churches in Moscow made a lot of
- 54:08noise because they met in the parking lot and
- 54:10sang hymns. And the mayor and the city council
- 54:12and the cops all basically, well, the mayor didn't
- 54:14show up because he won't do his own dirty work.
- 54:17You know, out came the cops, sighting people,
- 54:20and attempting to sight people. That was right
- 54:22here in supposed Blood Red, Idaho. They think
- 54:25they own us. That's the truth. They think they
- 54:27own us. They think we're a flock and we are chattel.
- 54:29They're the leaders and the officials make the
- 54:32decisions. They didn't send any of their phony
- 54:35baloney health apparatus to the parking lot of
- 54:37Home Depot. Why is that? That place never stopped
- 54:39operating. The whole notion of a lockdown is
- 54:42bull crap to begin with. There was never any
- 54:43lockdown. There was just targeted assaults by
- 54:46the leader, leader, leaders against a citizenry
- 54:49that is supposed to be free. It says liberty
- 54:50on our coins. But in point of fact, we are not.
- 54:54Yeah, but you know what and we had this conversation
- 54:56before this is a little bit of the Historical
- 54:59fact the first coinage that we ever minted as
- 55:01a country was so I say when I say we I mean America
- 55:03We should have stuck to that because that was
- 55:06the best it literally said mind your business
- 55:09That was what was on the first coinage. Mind
- 55:12your business. It was awesome. If you've never
- 55:14seen that, Tyler, that's the... Well, you looked
- 55:15it up on the show. I already knew it. The what
- 55:17coin? You already knew. The what coin? I'm trying
- 55:20to remember the name of it. The Fugio. Fugio
- 55:23Scent. Google image the Fugio Scent. Yeah, it's
- 55:26brilliant. Fugio Scent. Yeah. That's right. It
- 55:29is stamped right on it. Mind your business. Just
- 55:32so there is the fact that we got rid of that
- 55:34man What says a lot? There is the of course the
- 55:38difference between you heard earlier in the clip
- 55:40with us or do suffer and Adam curry that were
- 55:42like Oh, well, you know your you they people
- 55:44go and they post about it on Instagram There's
- 55:46the true information where they people put up
- 55:48voluntarily the Amazon the ring cameras all over
- 55:51their houses like yeah Well, but there's still
- 55:53there is a distinction because we as usual with
- 55:56all of the quote services that are we are being
- 55:59told to hold still while they are thrust upon
- 56:01us. We can't opt out of the ALPRs. There's no
- 56:04opt out. Well, everybody opts in, man. Everyone
- 56:06has a phone. I know. But there's still a distinction.
- 56:09You can't opt out. I can leave my phone at home.
- 56:13I can smash my phone if I want to smash. If I
- 56:16decide I'm out. And Tyler, same thing. Same thing,
- 56:19Tyler. You can leave your phone at home. You
- 56:20can turn it off. You can change plans. You can
- 56:23change carriers. You can change the hardware.
- 56:26You also can jailbreak your phone if you know
- 56:28who to do. You know, there's lots of different
- 56:29ways you can mitigate the risk, eliminate the
- 56:33risk or fully embrace the risk. But you have
- 56:36choices. And also you can damage your phone,
- 56:40whether accidentally or otherwise, you can buy
- 56:42it and then break it in half. That's not a felony.
- 56:45So, yeah, my phone is watching me now. There's
- 56:48a whole company. Oh, yeah. And I'm sure that's
- 56:49going to become a bigger and bigger thing. Now
- 56:51new from Motorola, a privacy phone. So because
- 56:58we sort of didn't let him finish, I want to finish
- 57:00here and how Tyler, so Tyler is fighting his,
- 57:03his township here where they first try to outlaw
- 57:06Nerf guns. Then they kind of pseudo outlaw yard
- 57:10sales. Oh, excuse me. You're right. My bad, my
- 57:13bad. No, it's important. It's a good distinction.
- 57:16You can possess as many nerf guns as you want.
- 57:20You have one of those like secret compartments
- 57:22that like comes up from behind your headboard
- 57:24is as much a nerf guns. It's like lit up by the
- 57:27LED lighting. Well, the question is what happens
- 57:30if they catch you with intent to distribute said
- 57:33nerf guns? Like if you hand them out to your
- 57:35kids for a birthday party, then what happens?
- 57:39I don't know. So so they so they did that that
- 57:42firearms ordinance. We got that stopped. And
- 57:46then, yeah, so I noticed the cameras and called
- 57:48while I'd read that story. I was driving through
- 57:50town one day, I saw a flock camera. So I immediately
- 57:52go down to the police or our city so small, the
- 57:55city hall and the police stations, one building.
- 57:58And I go in there and I go up to the police chief
- 58:00and I said, I said, hey, who, who put these in?
- 58:04Cause I like, I didn't even know who put them
- 58:05in, you know? And he's like, oh, oh, me and the
- 58:08mayor. And I'm like, like, where was the council
- 58:11meeting? And he's like, there wasn't one. And
- 58:14so that's the thing we're talking about. Yeah.
- 58:16There was no, you know, there, there was no meeting.
- 58:18So they, they hit into the budget they put, um,
- 58:20and they still did it wrong, but they put a $10
- 58:22,000 line item for equipment capital outlay.
- 58:25Um, That's all they put for the capital. Outlay
- 58:28means like you're purchasing something. So if
- 58:30you like bought a camera and then you kept it
- 58:32on like your, your, you know, property books,
- 58:35like that would be an acceptable use. But with
- 58:37flock, you don't even own the equipment. You
- 58:39don't own the hardware, the software. Um, you
- 58:42don't even really own the data. You just own
- 58:44the ability to access said data. Um, but, uh,
- 58:49so he's like, Oh, me and the mayor approved this.
- 58:52And I'm like, what the heck? Uh, And so that's
- 58:56when I, I got a ton. Well, and this is, so here's
- 58:59what happened actually, uh, from there I started
- 59:01going, I went on the community page and I got
- 59:03a bunch of people riled up going to, to come
- 59:05to the council meeting and it was a, it was packed
- 59:09like standing room only. Um, I mean, it's not
- 59:11a huge room, but, um, you know, there was probably
- 59:1430 people there. Maybe. So like half of the registered
- 59:18voters showed up half of the people that voted.
- 59:20Yeah. Barack Obama. Eat your heart out. Here's
- 59:24a community organizer for you. Yeah. You think
- 59:27you could fill a stadium. Yeah. So, um, well
- 59:31I had the twin falls meeting. I got that one
- 59:34packed too. Um, but anyway, we're not making
- 59:37fun of you by the way. That probably felt like
- 59:39you were making fun of you. Like good job, dude.
- 59:42No, so and that's the thing. I mean, I don't
- 59:45know what I'm doing. So you're like, oh, a community
- 59:47organizer. Like I've never been involved in anything
- 59:49like this before. We would never use that term
- 59:51for someone we like, Tyler. I just started. I
- 59:55just started. That's a pejorative, sir. So anyways,
- 1:00:02so I get up, I get the council room packed and
- 1:00:04they remove public comment. And oh, and so they
- 1:00:09know what was coming. Yes. Yes, because it's
- 1:00:11posted on Facebook. I was using the, I was using,
- 1:00:13you know, the, um, the, like our community page.
- 1:00:17And that was the moment that radicalized me.
- 1:00:20I think if that had never happened, I think I
- 1:00:22would have just got up there, set my point, um,
- 1:00:25about, Hey, I don't like flock cameras and probably
- 1:00:28left it alone. But, but they radicalized me.
- 1:00:33They literally forced my hand and radicalized
- 1:00:35me by removing public comment. And, and, um,
- 1:00:38They did it. It's funny. I, you know, I started
- 1:00:41recording that every interaction with them. Um,
- 1:00:44and so like I had there at the council meeting,
- 1:00:47they're like, they're saying, well, the mayor's
- 1:00:50not here. And so he's, he, you know, he's the
- 1:00:53one that said not to have public comment because
- 1:00:55he's not here to listen. And then, but I have,
- 1:00:58I had a video of the mayor, the mayor saying,
- 1:01:00uh, well, it's up to the, it's up to the. Devin
- 1:01:05Berg, who's the like was like the chair of the
- 1:01:08council. So they're all up to him. So they're
- 1:01:11all. Yeah. And they point to the next guy. You're
- 1:01:14like, well, actually, it's it's our secretary.
- 1:01:17She's the one who's supposed to set the agenda
- 1:01:19last Wednesday. And she was so busy processing
- 1:01:21yard sale permits. She forgot. Oh, yeah. Well,
- 1:01:24the city attorney said we can do this. You know,
- 1:01:26it's all a bunch of bull crap. Just because you
- 1:01:30can, you know, doesn't mean you doesn't mean
- 1:01:31you should, you know. Oh, yeah. And they all,
- 1:01:35and they all back each other and they're all
- 1:01:36in the same, I mean, it's a cabal. It is a cabal.
- 1:01:40They behave that way. It's a complete joke. And
- 1:01:42so, um, yeah, they all high five and have beers.
- 1:01:45I think they, I honestly really think that, you
- 1:01:48know, it's probably pretty boring typically,
- 1:01:51um, to be on the council and, you know, people
- 1:01:53don't show up and you guys are, they're, everyone's
- 1:01:55just sitting there saying yes or no on a bunch
- 1:01:58of pretty much unimportant things. Yeah, well,
- 1:02:02it's usually like, should we spend this money?
- 1:02:03Yes. Should we not spend this money? No, we should
- 1:02:07still spend it. So no to the not spending. I
- 1:02:10think once drama happens, I think they just want
- 1:02:12it. I think they're like, yes, I feel important,
- 1:02:14you know, because people are showing up and they're
- 1:02:16mad at me yelling. And I think it's just like
- 1:02:19ego stroke for them. That's a, that's a toddler
- 1:02:23thing actually, which makes a lot of sense. Ego
- 1:02:25toddlers. You've got big emotions. You have no
- 1:02:27impulse control. You think the whole world revolves
- 1:02:29around you. You're a low level narcissist or
- 1:02:31sometimes a high level narcissist. A lot of it's
- 1:02:33just attention seeking. Doesn't matter if it's
- 1:02:35good. It doesn't matter if it's bad. They just
- 1:02:38want attention. So there you are. Now you've
- 1:02:41got little small tyrants in their small world
- 1:02:44who are now getting the attention they crave.
- 1:02:47And even if it's negative, they're happy. Like
- 1:02:50you're saying Tyler that it's the reaction to
- 1:02:54the engage to what they do we're like either
- 1:02:57the taxing or the surveillance or all of the
- 1:03:00myriad ways that we are tyrannized upon then
- 1:03:04when there's a reaction from the citizenry as
- 1:03:07it gets ever more ratcheted up that you know
- 1:03:10to the point where like especially in 2020 where
- 1:03:12it's just full -blown totalitarianism was like
- 1:03:14we own every part of you know cover your face
- 1:03:16or else it's like and then the citizens go like
- 1:03:19At least some of us are like, yeah, man, I guess
- 1:03:22I'm officially now radical, like even though
- 1:03:24I haven't actually changed, but you've just kept
- 1:03:26ratcheting it up. And then they get their panties
- 1:03:29in a wad like, whoa, whoa, where's this reaction
- 1:03:31coming from, man? We're just trying to look out
- 1:03:33for your safety. And they act like there's no
- 1:03:35reason in the world that there should be like
- 1:03:38that. Anybody should be questioning their motives
- 1:03:40or anything like what's wrong with you, citizen?
- 1:03:42We're just trying to provide you services. God,
- 1:03:44yeah. Just your friendly neighborhood city council
- 1:03:47member trying to do what we've always done. What
- 1:03:49are you so upset about? If there was ever an
- 1:03:51acknowledgement of like, like, well, we understand,
- 1:03:55like, you know, of course, there was something
- 1:03:57we made some mistakes in 2020. So we understand
- 1:03:59why now you would be skeptical of our motives
- 1:04:01and our methods and stuff. But there's never
- 1:04:03any preface along those lines. They're just they're
- 1:04:06just fed up with us. They've had it up to here
- 1:04:08with our with our radical right wing skepticism.
- 1:04:12It's kind of a tactic that the I'm gonna pick
- 1:04:15on them again I guess the boomers have perfected
- 1:04:17really well and any of us who have parents who
- 1:04:18are involved in our lives And we love them. We
- 1:04:20love them, but getting boomered by our parents.
- 1:04:23We all know this We all know this scheme right
- 1:04:25where like they give you Your parents give you
- 1:04:28something as a quote -unquote gift and it's not
- 1:04:30necessarily wrapped as a gift or anything like
- 1:04:32that But you know you go visit and they got this
- 1:04:33stuff set aside for you and they're like, oh,
- 1:04:35hey, by the way Here's this stuff I've got for
- 1:04:36you I've been saving it for you and you know,
- 1:04:38go ahead and take that and it's you know, like
- 1:04:39an old wicker basket and a couple of like blood
- 1:04:43pressure squeezy balls that have, you know, your
- 1:04:45dad's insurance company printed on them. And,
- 1:04:48and you're like, what? You just, you just gave
- 1:04:51me your garbage. You just gave me the stuff you
- 1:04:53didn't want to throw out. And if you push back
- 1:04:55on it, then they're like, what? Well, what do
- 1:04:56you mean? What do you mean? You don't want our
- 1:04:57gift? Like, oh, we're just giving you some stuff.
- 1:04:59We're just being nice. You know, it's just a
- 1:05:00gesture. Why do you have to make such a thing
- 1:05:02out of it? What do you, what's the pushback for?
- 1:05:04There's a, yeah, there are always this again,
- 1:05:06right? They're always exasperated. Ungrateful
- 1:05:07kids. Always exasperated. Seemed like, you know,
- 1:05:12who broke you kid? Well, yeah, really you kind
- 1:05:14of did dad a little bit or or in Tyler's case
- 1:05:17when the city council's like who radicalized
- 1:05:19you man, and I was like me me Yeah, so so that
- 1:05:24that turned into You know, I I noticed this across
- 1:05:28the state where you know, it was happening in
- 1:05:30a similar way and so a few of us got together
- 1:05:33and I just we started to deflock, Idaho the page
- 1:05:36you know from there and for a while, for a couple
- 1:05:40months, it only had a couple hundred followers,
- 1:05:43a few hundred followers. And then all of a sudden,
- 1:05:46I don't know, I've never ran a Facebook page.
- 1:05:50I've never made social media content. I've had
- 1:05:53to learn literally all of this. I've never ran
- 1:05:57a grassroots movement. I've never gotten people
- 1:06:00politically engaged. I've literally never done
- 1:06:03any of this. I'd never been to a city council
- 1:06:06meeting until you know, that firearms ordinance
- 1:06:09I talked about. And so all of this is, you know,
- 1:06:13rapidly just kind of happened. And I've had to
- 1:06:17figure out, you know, how to do records requests,
- 1:06:19how to do other stuff. But essentially, that's
- 1:06:23what radicalized me was just them saying, you're
- 1:06:26not allowed to speak. And so it's like, why are
- 1:06:27we going to put in cameras and execute, you know,
- 1:06:31mass surveillance? And then we're not going to
- 1:06:34allow you to speak about it. And so we need changes.
- 1:06:40The cameras need to go. But honestly, even there's
- 1:06:43been the last two years, it hasn't gone out of
- 1:06:48committee. And that's something I'm scared of
- 1:06:50too with the ALPR bans is that it might not even
- 1:06:56leave committee. But the last two years, there's
- 1:07:00been stuff going into committee to require public
- 1:07:04comment at public meetings, because we have the
- 1:07:07public meetings laws, but we don't we don't require
- 1:07:10comment. And so Tyler, when you say we are you
- 1:07:13still referring to your township Wilder, or are
- 1:07:16you referring to a bigger state? The state, the
- 1:07:18state, the state overall. So the state has open
- 1:07:22meetings laws that require, you know, that's
- 1:07:27what that's why we have, you know, city council
- 1:07:29meetings and, you know, at the county or whatever
- 1:07:33level. So are those procedures primarily dictated
- 1:07:40by state law? Yeah. But it essentially just requires
- 1:07:44you guys have to have an open public meeting.
- 1:07:48People have to be able to attend and see what
- 1:07:49you're doing. You can't just have meetings behind
- 1:07:51closed doors. Does that include public comment?
- 1:07:55No, but that's what it doesn't require. It doesn't
- 1:07:58require public comment. And so that's where there's
- 1:08:00been, there's been two bills that to go forth
- 1:08:04in the last two sessions to require public comment,
- 1:08:07but they never even left committee. But it's
- 1:08:11simple. Like we should be allowing people to
- 1:08:13have a say in what's going on in the government.
- 1:08:16You know, obviously you can require only you
- 1:08:19know say okay you only have two minutes to speak
- 1:08:21or you only have three minutes to speak or you
- 1:08:24know I just watched uh it was uh last night was
- 1:08:27the the Twin Falls City Council budget meeting
- 1:08:30and and uh someone went up there to speak and
- 1:08:33and they wrote John Hancock for their name and
- 1:08:36they didn't allow him to They didn't allow them
- 1:08:38to speak because they had a fictitious name or
- 1:08:42whatever. Of course. Of course. Yeah. And they're
- 1:08:44like, Hey, nobody does lawfare like the government
- 1:08:46does even at the most lowest and petty levels.
- 1:08:49It's fantastic, but in the worst of ways. Oh
- 1:08:52yeah. I mean, who cares? Like, what does, what
- 1:08:53does it matter that someone says their name or
- 1:08:56not? Like we're here talking about surveillance,
- 1:08:57you know what I mean? It's just an, it's just
- 1:09:00a reason to shut talking about surveillance.
- 1:09:03I don't want to use my real name. Well then sir,
- 1:09:05you don't get to speak because we don't know
- 1:09:07who you are now. Hold still while we put you
- 1:09:09on camera. There was just, there was just a lady
- 1:09:13that was arrested for that. I can't remember
- 1:09:15where I'd have to look it up. But she was drug
- 1:09:18out of a council meeting of her full name. And
- 1:09:21they knew who she was. It's like, you know who
- 1:09:23I am, you know, but they want to play, you know,
- 1:09:26they want to play another little stroke. And
- 1:09:29again, it just I gotta say it it goes back. It's
- 1:09:31bigger than that It is the nature of the state
- 1:09:33and I'm gonna hammer that every single time because
- 1:09:35I want people Anybody who's who will listen or
- 1:09:38hear to hear it fully understand that is the
- 1:09:41nature of the state This is not this is not one
- 1:09:43-off stuff. This is not like oh, we just didn't
- 1:09:46quote unquote use it properly Or we just it's
- 1:09:50not because we don't have the right people in
- 1:09:52positions of power No, no this shit is every
- 1:09:56day Every day in America, who's in charge? This
- 1:09:58is the nature of the state. It's inherent. I
- 1:10:01was watching that video of the lady getting drug
- 1:10:04out of the council meeting. But it really made
- 1:10:07me mad. And the reason it made me so mad was
- 1:10:11because there's so many people against these
- 1:10:15systems of mass surveillance. And people across
- 1:10:20the country are going in front of councils that
- 1:10:24don't even listen, that don't even care. And
- 1:10:26it's the same story over and over again. It's
- 1:10:29like pedantic. And how does it make sense? And
- 1:10:33how is it that we got to the point to where like,
- 1:10:35it's not a problem with the Wilder City Council.
- 1:10:38It's not a problem with the Caldwell City Council.
- 1:10:40It's not a problem with the Twin Falls City Council.
- 1:10:44It's a systemic issue across the whole country.
- 1:10:49And I don't understand how how are these the
- 1:10:52people that are there that are elected allegedly
- 1:10:57to, you know, they're supposed to be elected
- 1:11:01to represent the people and they seem to just
- 1:11:04represent the state's interest. That's right.
- 1:11:07Yeah, the people who live their lives and mind
- 1:11:09their own live their lives in mind their own
- 1:11:10the people who are natural bent towards meddling
- 1:11:12Gravitate immediately towards love towards meddling
- 1:11:15the the saying that absolute power corrupts.
- 1:11:18Absolutely. No, it's bullshit It's not true and
- 1:11:21I don't and it's not how it works It's that the
- 1:11:24corrupt absolutely seek power So again from my
- 1:11:30perspective as a libertarian and more specifically
- 1:11:32as an anarchist is we you have to take that away
- 1:11:35don't allow for those things to even exist because
- 1:11:39somebody will always wield them. And even in
- 1:11:42the private sector, of course, you know, that
- 1:11:44happens also as well. You got gangs, cartels,
- 1:11:46blah, blah, blah, blah. But at least they have
- 1:11:49the decency to turn a profit. I can negotiate
- 1:11:52with them. I can legitimately legally fight them
- 1:11:55off physically and violently if I need to or
- 1:11:57want to. Nobody calls me a criminal. Meanwhile,
- 1:12:00if the road pirates stop me for whatever arbitrary
- 1:12:02reason and I shoot one, I am the worst person
- 1:12:06on planet Earth and get the death penalty. But
- 1:12:08if the mafia pulls me over and does the exact
- 1:12:12same thing, extracts money from me over the barrel
- 1:12:15of a gun, and I shoot one of them, I'm a local
- 1:12:18hero. The only difference is the costume and
- 1:12:20the paperwork. And so there you have it. The
- 1:12:24state versus everybody else. And you ask a good
- 1:12:27question, Tyler. I hate to sound like the arrogant
- 1:12:30ass that I am, but the answer is pretty simple.
- 1:12:33It's the nature of the state and it's the nature
- 1:12:34of humans of those who late leave those be those
- 1:12:37who don't leave others be. And if it's there,
- 1:12:40the power, if the position of power is there,
- 1:12:41the corrupt will seek it out and they will fill
- 1:12:43it. And most of us are too busy living our lives
- 1:12:45to either stop it or to block it. And by block
- 1:12:50it, that usually would mean us us being the ones
- 1:12:52sitting there. I was president of my HOA for
- 1:12:56my first two homes I lived in now where I live.
- 1:12:58There is no HOA, thank God, where we, you know,
- 1:13:01I'm way up in the North outside of Clark Fork
- 1:13:03and there's many reasons why I'm up here. But
- 1:13:06for the first two neighborhoods, there was an
- 1:13:07HOA. And in both occasions, I actually made a
- 1:13:10point to become the president of the HOA. And
- 1:13:12I did it successfully and then held on to those
- 1:13:13positions for years. And I took, like a classic
- 1:13:16libertarian, I took control and I left everybody
- 1:13:20the fuck alone. and I took the minimum amount
- 1:13:23from everybody that was required by the HOA bylaws,
- 1:13:26and we just maintained the neighborhood, and
- 1:13:27I actually tried to abolish both of them, but
- 1:13:30I couldn't because you have to actually have,
- 1:13:32if everybody has mortgages, then the only way
- 1:13:35you can abolish an HOA is if the mortgagers sign
- 1:13:38off. So homeowners have to sign off on it, but
- 1:13:41then the interested parties, which also happen
- 1:13:43to be the mortgages, the banks, also have to
- 1:13:46sign off, so I could never get it done. But I
- 1:13:48did try to abolish both of them. But at that
- 1:13:50point, my idea was, well, it's either me taking
- 1:13:53this flack for everybody else, and a lot of them
- 1:13:55hate me for it, and a lot of them don't hate
- 1:13:57me for it, or it's little Nazis in their little
- 1:14:01neighborhoods doing Nazi stuff to me. So we had
- 1:14:05to, you know, sit in the seat. And that's how
- 1:14:08this stuff happens. HOAs, city councils, county
- 1:14:11commissioners, state legislators, all the way
- 1:14:15up and down. Well, and there's the entire apparatus
- 1:14:18of the, you know, public education, quote unquote,
- 1:14:21and this program, which we highlighted, the mainstream
- 1:14:24media. They constantly refer to the city councils
- 1:14:29and this and that as leaders. The county leaders,
- 1:14:33elected leaders, the city leaders, they say it
- 1:14:37constantly and they are... Even though that's
- 1:14:40the opposite of what they are. They're elect.
- 1:14:42You said it. They're Tyler. They're elected representatives,
- 1:14:44which is the opposite of a leader. You're the
- 1:14:47people are the leaders and thank you and the
- 1:14:51People up on the dais are supposed to be representing
- 1:14:54Now they're the leaders and that gets hammered
- 1:14:57home across the board because a I think the people
- 1:15:01on the dais believe themselves to be that and
- 1:15:03then I Just It's a population that loves to be
- 1:15:08ruled, I guess. People just want to be ruled
- 1:15:10as slave mentality. It's like the story of Exodus.
- 1:15:13They're like, hey, man, there was certainly harder
- 1:15:14in Egypt. Yeah, let's go back. Let's go back.
- 1:15:17The slavery was preferable. But it's there's
- 1:15:20a lot of language, subtle and not so subtle.
- 1:15:22Man and Quail is OK. But you know what? I think
- 1:15:26we should probably go back into slavery leaders.
- 1:15:29Yeah. Okay, we got to do mid show we got to do
- 1:15:33it We have more flock stuff and we got to do
- 1:15:35mid show and I think Tyler just dropped off of
- 1:15:36clean feed So I'm not sure if he's gonna go or
- 1:15:39his thing just crapped out on him, but it is
- 1:15:41time to do he's back. Okay Tyler we got to do
- 1:15:46mid show and then I have a I have more clips
- 1:15:49Are you game to hang out with us and do some
- 1:15:50other stuff for the second half of show? Yeah
- 1:15:52Cool. All right. Awesome. Right on. So you maybe
- 1:15:56I'm not sure if you made it this far in the pro
- 1:15:59of no idea that you've heard this far. But this
- 1:16:02program is a value for value program. That's
- 1:16:04the model we run on a no idea. And now we're
- 1:16:06on episode 43. Yeah, I've been going for a while.
- 1:16:09We're almost about to cross the one year mark
- 1:16:11coming up in October. You know what we forgot
- 1:16:13to do for last episode, Scott? What's that episode
- 1:16:1542? And we absolutely missed an entire opportunity
- 1:16:18to call it the meaning of life. I'm just realizing
- 1:16:20it now. So I think for episode 43, we have to
- 1:16:23call it the meaning of life just just for the
- 1:16:25fuckery of it. Really? But not not tyranny is
- 1:16:28a software patch away. Oh, well, if you're going
- 1:16:31to go, if you don't, I don't mind the long windedness,
- 1:16:33you know, me, a big fan of long windedness brevity
- 1:16:36is not my strong suit. So, yeah, we'll go with
- 1:16:38that if you're cool, if you're keen on it. Value
- 1:16:41for value is a advertiser free outside influence
- 1:16:45free, no sponsor meetings, no nothing model.
- 1:16:49It's really a straightforward model. And it's
- 1:16:52yeah, this program brought to you by the fine
- 1:16:54folks at Motorola. Yes, Motorola. Yes, Motorola.
- 1:16:59We don't do any of that. There's no libraries.
- 1:17:00There's no promotion of anything. And the reason
- 1:17:03is because we value liberty on this program.
- 1:17:05And that is the only way to stay truly free is
- 1:17:07to just have nobody you're not having your paycheck
- 1:17:10depend on what you do or don't say on somebody
- 1:17:12else's or some other entity's behalf. We just
- 1:17:15ask for direct value contributions from you,
- 1:17:17the producers. There are no listeners of this
- 1:17:19program. There are only producers. You help us
- 1:17:21produce the show and you do so by, if you find
- 1:17:25our program to be valuable, we try to make it
- 1:17:27valuable. If you find it to be valuable, kick
- 1:17:29value back to us with your time, your talent,
- 1:17:31or your treasure. That's the whole model. We
- 1:17:33put the show out every Thursday. It's free. There's
- 1:17:35no subscriber tiers. There's no nothing like
- 1:17:37that. It's just the show and it's as good as
- 1:17:39we can make it every week. If you find it valuable,
- 1:17:41throw value back to us and that means many different
- 1:17:44things to many different people. Only you can
- 1:17:46determine what value means to you. Time talent
- 1:17:48treasure. Time value ads look like sending in
- 1:17:53articles, sending in audio, sending in show art,
- 1:17:55sending in boots on the ground reports. All of
- 1:17:58this is at noidshow .com. There's email address,
- 1:18:02there's contact form, there's all sorts of ways
- 1:18:04to get in touch with us and send us stuff. We
- 1:18:06love feedback and I got... I got audio this week,
- 1:18:09I got articles, lots and lots of stuff, and I
- 1:18:12appreciate you guys taking the time to send all
- 1:18:14that stuff in, keeping us front of mind. It's
- 1:18:16huge. Leaving ratings and reviews on whatever
- 1:18:20platform you're consuming. What we need is to
- 1:18:22hire Tyler to figure out how to get our Facebook
- 1:18:24page up to 26 ,000 followers. I know. I've never
- 1:18:27done any of this. He's been doing this since
- 1:18:28April? Yeah, really. I've never done anything
- 1:18:30in my life. Five months and I'm already eclipsing
- 1:18:34everything you guys have done in a year I grabbed
- 1:18:36I grabbed a torch and just started walking toward
- 1:18:39the city council chambers and next thing you
- 1:18:40know I turned around and all 200 people in the
- 1:18:43town were behind me Yes 15 second like a do a
- 1:18:5115 second short like real that's all you got
- 1:18:54to do It's that simple I know this program I
- 1:18:59have yeah, but like this is well, it's an audio
- 1:19:02show. You're right I mean, I I know I keep being
- 1:19:04told that it's the short form, but brevity is
- 1:19:08not our strong suit in a sound bite world We're
- 1:19:10singing the opera over here. That's pretty much
- 1:19:12it This is the long the the long form is really
- 1:19:14the only way to truly dissect these things like
- 1:19:16to get to get all the the clicks and the The
- 1:19:19sort of critical mass of followers and stuff,
- 1:19:21yes. And for your purposes, for the political
- 1:19:23purposes, makes complete sense. For the purposes
- 1:19:26of audio, just like a dissemination and, you
- 1:19:30know, whatever, commentary and media deconstruction
- 1:19:32in this format, it doesn't work in short form.
- 1:19:35So I just need to I need to get someone on board
- 1:19:38with this, you know, some Gen Z or that's better
- 1:19:40at that stuff. Do like, though. how I asked Tyler,
- 1:19:43how do you do it? He gives us the answer and
- 1:19:44we're like, nah, nah, that doesn't. I don't even
- 1:19:46know. I don't. I don't even. I just posted. I
- 1:19:49sort of posted people speaking myself and other
- 1:19:52people speaking at council meetings. And then
- 1:19:54it just kind of blew up. And I would just cut
- 1:19:57those up in different ways. And then there is
- 1:19:59video. My big, the big thing, the big thing I've
- 1:20:02learned to use CapCut. I had no clue how to how
- 1:20:06to do that. But I've had help, you know, from.
- 1:20:10some other people that make content have kind
- 1:20:13of shown me how to, you know, shown me how or,
- 1:20:17or they'd made content for the page. And then
- 1:20:20I'm just like, okay, well, let me figure out
- 1:20:22how to do the same thing, you know? And so, yeah,
- 1:20:27I mean, I just kind of shitpost and it works.
- 1:20:31Well, okay, we could, I can do that shitposting.
- 1:20:34Yeah. And I can speak in my language. Like, I
- 1:20:36mean, I mean, we had, I could only speak in memes.
- 1:20:39Well, we had a MAGA mom. She's on the council
- 1:20:42city council of Nampa And I went and spoke at
- 1:20:46their their council meeting and it was it was
- 1:20:49pointless the I'd actually met with their mayor
- 1:20:52and I met with their mayor and then when I'm
- 1:20:54leaving the police officer that What's his name?
- 1:20:58Someone with an s some bullcrap Anyways, he like
- 1:21:04he like forced me out the door. Like we were
- 1:21:07done talking and, and, um, cause they showed
- 1:21:10me their real time crime center. I don't even
- 1:21:12know why the mayor took me. I wanted to sit there
- 1:21:16and talk to the, um, you know, talk to the mayor.
- 1:21:19And then he takes me to the real time crime center.
- 1:21:22And, uh, the officers are, you know, they're,
- 1:21:25they start, we're arguing over, it's like four
- 1:21:27of them versus me. And they're arguing, you know,
- 1:21:30how, how great their system is. And I'm like,
- 1:21:33you're you're sharing with these people. And
- 1:21:36you know, this is, is this, this is how it works.
- 1:21:40But at the end, when one, one interesting point
- 1:21:42is that officer's like, well, at one point he's
- 1:21:45like, my mom doesn't even like these cameras.
- 1:21:48It's like, like my mom doesn't support my job.
- 1:21:51You should listen to your mother. And we've had
- 1:21:54hard conversations because of my mom. Yeah. Lieutenant
- 1:21:57Chad Shepard with the Nampa. police department.
- 1:22:02Dude, that guy sounds like a guy who will beat
- 1:22:04you up for being black. Chad Shepard. He used
- 1:22:08to play high school football till he injured.
- 1:22:11He was going to go pro till he injured his knee.
- 1:22:14Now he's, he's just an ISP trooper with a hard
- 1:22:17on for catching criminals on the road going six
- 1:22:20miles over the speed limit. What his ex wife
- 1:22:22said on that, on that court proceeding. That's
- 1:22:24all it's allegations. They have not been proven.
- 1:22:28Allegedly. Allegedly raised my voice and wagged
- 1:22:31my finger at her sir that I don't know where
- 1:22:33that black guy came from I only told her once
- 1:22:35so he So yeah, he I'm like leaving right we're
- 1:22:41like done talking and I stopped it in the doorway
- 1:22:43and I'm looking at the screen and Because they
- 1:22:47have this huge screen and it's just like plastered
- 1:22:49with people driving around town and I can't remember
- 1:22:52what I was gonna ask I was gonna ask something
- 1:22:56but he like He doesn't push me, but he, you know,
- 1:22:58like when someone like firmly like touches you
- 1:23:01to like move you. And so he like firmly like
- 1:23:04moves me through the door. And then I'm like,
- 1:23:06I'm like in the hallway and I stopped and I'm
- 1:23:09like waiting for the mayor to come out. And he's
- 1:23:12like, you need to leave. And he tries like pushing
- 1:23:13me again and like to the elevator. And, and I'm
- 1:23:17like, I'm waiting on the mayor, dude. It's so
- 1:23:20anyways. Stop resisting, sir. Stop resisting.
- 1:23:24I seem to be getting close to that, you know?
- 1:23:28So anyways, so anyways, I go to the council meeting
- 1:23:30and I spoke and I brought up. points of, you
- 1:23:33know, how Motorola shares their data with, um,
- 1:23:36the Thomas Reuters clear system and, you know,
- 1:23:39other valid concerns with their system. And,
- 1:23:42uh, he goes up there and just starts naming me
- 1:23:44by name. He's like, I don't know what Mr. Kane
- 1:23:46thinks he knows and blah, blah, blah, blah, running
- 1:23:48this like very like emotional, like one of his,
- 1:23:51his points was if these were illegal, the attorney
- 1:23:54general would have done something about it. They
- 1:23:59only. Guys, it's okay. It's legal. What else
- 1:24:06do you need to know? It's perfectly legal. It's
- 1:24:09okay. Mr. Kane just doesn't get it. He's just
- 1:24:12another citizen who doesn't get it. He's operating
- 1:24:14on misinformation. I don't know what he thinks
- 1:24:15he knows, but if he just knew the right things,
- 1:24:17he wouldn't think the way he does. That's the
- 1:24:21exact argument. I mean, that's exactly what he
- 1:24:23went up there and said. And so he kept my name
- 1:24:25and my mouth, my name in his mouth, you know,
- 1:24:28running it. And then Magamom, who is like this
- 1:24:31Facebook influencer who's also just happens to
- 1:24:34sit on the city council. Um, she starts going
- 1:24:38around saying, we don't have flock, which they
- 1:24:41don't, but she's like, we don't operate mass
- 1:24:43surveillance and we don't do this. And Nampa's
- 1:24:45blah, blah, blah, blah, just spouting all this
- 1:24:47stuff about how great Nampa's mass surveillance
- 1:24:50program is. And so I start going at her and I
- 1:24:53make this, I made, I took her like Facebook thing
- 1:24:55and I made it like, uh, what was it? It was,
- 1:24:58it was surveillance mom. And then I was like,
- 1:25:03I changed the thing. I was, it says communist
- 1:25:05voice cutting through privacy, defending mass
- 1:25:08surveillance comrades and control in a free world
- 1:25:11unapologetically stalking. Oh, I do it. You could
- 1:25:16do, I'll do you one better. You make a poster
- 1:25:17of surveillance mom and be like, are you, are
- 1:25:19you kids behaving in here? It's so dude. So what's
- 1:25:23so funny is, is so She's this mega mom. She's
- 1:25:28she's on the council. She's using her mega mom
- 1:25:31platform to, to, you know, relay information
- 1:25:34that's going on in the city. She blocks deflock
- 1:25:38Idaho, just blocks us. And, um, but it's like,
- 1:25:43you don't even have enough skin, you know, thick
- 1:25:44skin to deal with, you know, a couple of memes,
- 1:25:48um, when you're, you know, you've won the argument.
- 1:25:53When they just, uh, block, you're like, Oh, I
- 1:25:56guess I won. Did I win? He doesn't feel like
- 1:25:58winning, but I'm pretty sure I won. But she wasn't
- 1:26:01even, you know, she didn't want to have it educated,
- 1:26:03you know, to, to understand how these work or
- 1:26:06anything. And what's so funny to say that somebody
- 1:26:08who goes by the handle MAGA didn't want to listen.
- 1:26:12Well, and so what they do, what they do, and
- 1:26:15I saw this a lot with Nampa and I, when the mayor
- 1:26:20took me to the to the crime center, they're like,
- 1:26:23these are the experts. And so it's always this.
- 1:26:28Scott loves those people. Scott is a super duper
- 1:26:31fan of the experts. Tell us more about the experts.
- 1:26:33Yeah, continue. And then I have a little vignette
- 1:26:36on. Yeah. So, Scott, don't even worry about it.
- 1:26:38Tyler said the experts are on it, man. Flock's
- 1:26:40OK now. It's cool. The experts. These people
- 1:26:43think they're like trust the experts and it's
- 1:26:45the same thing that happened like, you know,
- 1:26:47during COVID. Trust the experts. Trust the experts.
- 1:26:51And, um, but really like these people, this person,
- 1:26:56that's a, that's when you're talking about a
- 1:26:58police officer or, uh, you know, there's a difference
- 1:27:02between, you know, a sheriff and, and a police
- 1:27:05department. So the Nampa police department is
- 1:27:08bureaucrats. The police chief is a bureaucrat.
- 1:27:11Yes. They're, they're not an elected official
- 1:27:13and, and, and Chad Shepard is Lieutenant Chad
- 1:27:18Shepard is a bureaucrat who's defending his salary.
- 1:27:22And that doesn't make someone an expert. That
- 1:27:25makes them a person trying to collect a paycheck.
- 1:27:29And so sorry to do this to you again, Tyler,
- 1:27:31but you basically, once again, just described
- 1:27:33the state in a nutshell. Bureaucrats who would
- 1:27:37otherwise not have a as good of a job or any
- 1:27:39job in the free market or in the private sector
- 1:27:42But they have it here because the state and they
- 1:27:44are defending their existence That's why it's
- 1:27:47so hard to dismantle any of it because they have
- 1:27:49a vested interest in it existing Everything they
- 1:27:51do is as is a defense against the likes of us
- 1:27:56Here's Lori Wolf Tyler. This is Lori Wolf. She
- 1:27:59works a hand -in -hand with Governor tiny doing
- 1:28:01the budget. I'm happy to be a bureaucrat She
- 1:28:04loves it. I like your taxes. She doesn't want
- 1:28:06to pay taxes, but you know what? I like your
- 1:28:08taxes. She likes ours. Oh, geez. I guarantee
- 1:28:13you she pays a CPA $10 ,000 a year to pay a lot
- 1:28:17less taxes. No, it is a scary laugh. Listen again.
- 1:28:23I'm happy to be a bureaucrat. It's like the Kamala
- 1:28:25Harris laugh. Totally. It's a Kamala cackle.
- 1:28:28Yeah. And here, you know what? Here's some, we're
- 1:28:29still, we're still technically in the value for
- 1:28:31value segment. Here's a little bonus. Yeah, we
- 1:28:32are. We have, we have donor notes to read. Do
- 1:28:35we have a? Yes. Oh, sweet. Let's do it. Sorry,
- 1:28:37Tyler. We'll pick it back. Hold that thought.
- 1:28:40We're going to hear that. I have to play this
- 1:28:41though. Here's some bonus content in the value
- 1:28:43for value segment. This is from KTVB. Idaho kindergartners
- 1:28:46are heading back to class with vaccination exemption
- 1:28:48rates well above the national average. New CDC.
- 1:28:52Yay. seventeen point five percent of idaho kindergartners
- 1:28:55had an exemption for at least one required vaccine
- 1:28:58last school year that there is more four point
- 1:29:00two percent nationwide national and then more
- 1:29:03vaccination rates have also fall into ninety
- 1:29:05two point four percent below the ninety five
- 1:29:08level consider necessary to prevent measles outbreaks
- 1:29:12the idaho immunization coalition is urging parents
- 1:29:15to check their children's records and talk with
- 1:29:17their health care providers about any overdue
- 1:29:19vaccines not been actually say it in the title
- 1:29:23immunization coalition. How much public money
- 1:29:25do you think they get? Well, I have some answers
- 1:29:27for you on that. I dug into them a little bit.
- 1:29:29And then they didn't they didn't actually, Tyler,
- 1:29:30in this clip use the word experts, but they almost
- 1:29:33always do. There was one from NPR on this same
- 1:29:36topic. And they did say, you know, according
- 1:29:38to experts, you need the 95 percent threshold
- 1:29:40of vaccination so that the your your kid who's
- 1:29:43protected needs to be protected from the unprotected
- 1:29:45by forcing the unprotected to get the protection
- 1:29:48that didn't protect the protected kid. You know,
- 1:29:50but they don't know about being protected. could
- 1:29:53kill you. But they they will always they'll quote,
- 1:29:57oh, the CDC says this and experts say that as
- 1:30:00if there's just all the credibility in the world
- 1:30:03for the CDC and experts like the like the last
- 1:30:06six years never happened. If you have any questions
- 1:30:08about the legitimacy of that that sort of verbiage
- 1:30:11or whoever it is they're quoting, or how do you
- 1:30:13know not to listen? How do you know which experts
- 1:30:15to listen to? What about this expert who says
- 1:30:16the opposite? They just trotted out there. It's
- 1:30:19that goes back to what I was talking about earlier.
- 1:30:20They're like exasperated. with us for questioning
- 1:30:23the credibility of all this stuff, even though
- 1:30:25all they've ever done is dash their credibility
- 1:30:27against the rocks. Hello, peasants. Are the experts
- 1:30:33in the room with us? Yeah, are they watching
- 1:30:35us right now? Yeah, that what was that organization?
- 1:30:39To prevent measles outbreaks. It depends on whether
- 1:30:41you guys would call our assigned fed boys experts.
- 1:30:45If so, then yes. The Idaho Immunization Coalition
- 1:30:48is the Idaho Immunization Coalition. OK, so I
- 1:30:51look now, who's that? They just go right past
- 1:30:53it, doesn't it? Now, they're a private organization.
- 1:30:56They're not governmental. But let me give you
- 1:30:58a couple. No, no, no, no. But I bet they operate
- 1:31:03on grants. And come on, man, you know the game
- 1:31:06here. So I win. So not only do they operate heavily
- 1:31:09on grants, not only does the it's what is it?
- 1:31:14Over a hundred thousand dollars in annual compensation
- 1:31:17for the executive director of this organization
- 1:31:20They have received about $80 ,000 from Pfizer
- 1:31:24directly documented payments from Pfizer. And
- 1:31:28so I can't imagine what incentive Pfizer would
- 1:31:30have. You were saying a second ago, Tyler, about
- 1:31:32the guy, the expert is just on the stand defending
- 1:31:34his job and his salary. Well, what incentive
- 1:31:37might exist for Pfizer to use Idaho NPR to describe
- 1:31:41how important your kid getting vaccinated against
- 1:31:43measles is on account of the kid next to him
- 1:31:45is vaccinated but needs to be protected? Would
- 1:31:49you like to know more? Yeah, and there's a lot
- 1:31:52more to it too. And there's also been a massive
- 1:31:54funding increase for this particular group. In
- 1:31:592019, its annual revenue was $145K. In 2024,
- 1:32:05it was $1 .52 million. What happened between
- 1:32:092020 and 2025? I don't know. What could possibly
- 1:32:13have happened? I'll bet you too that Tyler's
- 1:32:19probably seen very similar stuff with the flock
- 1:32:22and Motorola cameras and whatnot. You got to
- 1:32:25know pockets are being lined on that side of
- 1:32:27things as well. They have to be being lined.
- 1:32:29We had, I got, well, so there was this rash of
- 1:32:33police departments. A rash, get a vaccine. But
- 1:32:37they were doing like just constant social media
- 1:32:41and it was like nationwide. And so there was
- 1:32:45from other people and then, and then from us,
- 1:32:47but there was a ton of records requests done.
- 1:32:49They found, um, you know, flock was building
- 1:32:52has like worksheets to give to, this is how you
- 1:32:56talk to the public at a council meeting, like
- 1:32:59telling police departments how to do that. Uh,
- 1:33:02and then, and then even where we, we, we got
- 1:33:06emails from, uh, twin falls where before we went
- 1:33:09to there, we had like two probably, I don't even
- 1:33:12know account. I mean, it had to be like 200.
- 1:33:14250 people it was their whole room was packed
- 1:33:17the the there's a watch room that was packed
- 1:33:20the hallway was packed like there was just that
- 1:33:23many people there at the first council meeting
- 1:33:25we went to to speak about flock and um But we
- 1:33:30got emails from them leading up to that meeting
- 1:33:32where they were asking flock for help They're
- 1:33:34like we need help before our meeting because
- 1:33:37it's gonna be and they were they were referring
- 1:33:39to Caldwell They're like they're like we it's
- 1:33:42it's gonna be an event like Caldwell because
- 1:33:44we did we did one in Caldwell where we it was
- 1:33:47a standing room only As well, but they were they're
- 1:33:51like scared they're like scared of the the taxpayers
- 1:33:55accountability They're scared of the people and
- 1:33:58they need they need flock to hold their hand
- 1:34:01and tell them to tell them how they should address
- 1:34:04the public about the mass surveillance system
- 1:34:08they implemented. It's absolutely insane. They're
- 1:34:12used to doing this shit in the dark. Yes, and
- 1:34:15they should be scared. They should be. The thing
- 1:34:20is they're scared but they're not actually going
- 1:34:22to change course. See, that's really the issue.
- 1:34:25It's that they're not actually going to change
- 1:34:26course. Well, because there's no real consequences.
- 1:34:28There's no real consequences. They're scared
- 1:34:29of how to deal with the interim. They trotted
- 1:34:31out Fauci. It's like when they trotted out Fauci
- 1:34:34last week or two weeks ago and a bunch of people
- 1:34:36on the MAGA were like, yeah, get some Fauci.
- 1:34:40You and I sat there and went, we know. Nothing's
- 1:34:43going to happen. I mean, the guy who's sitting
- 1:34:45president right now gave Fauci a fucking medal.
- 1:34:48You think anything's actually going to happen
- 1:34:50to the guy? No, he went up there. He sat there
- 1:34:52for a whole day, pleaded the fifth, took his
- 1:34:54lumps like a man, still got his platinum parachute.
- 1:34:56Who cares? He wins. He wins. If all else fails,
- 1:34:59he can always move back to the motherland of
- 1:35:01Israel and he'll be fine. Oh, I knew you were
- 1:35:04going to bust that out. I gave it to you. I handed
- 1:35:05it to you on a T. If all else fails, he can always
- 1:35:06move back to the motherland of Israel and he'll
- 1:35:07be fine. I thought he was Jewish. You apparently
- 1:35:13weren't alone. I got a couple different notes
- 1:35:15this week that from people that were like so
- 1:35:17did I Yeah, thank you. Yeah, see it's actually
- 1:35:21like this is why it's noteworthy It's cuz one
- 1:35:24it's one of the few like actual swings and a
- 1:35:26miss I've had and you know 12 months of podcasting
- 1:35:29and I I'm you know, I I just missed that one.
- 1:35:32Oh, well what you gonna do? Hey speaking of rashes
- 1:35:37funding and missing people and stuff let's uh
- 1:35:41Finish this. Yes, contributors. Yes. So if you
- 1:35:44break value for value means like I was saying,
- 1:35:47contributing back time, talent or treasure. We
- 1:35:49went through some of the time and talent ways
- 1:35:52to contribute back value all at no ID show dot
- 1:35:54com. Telling people about the show is a huge
- 1:35:57value add. Probably one of the most valuable
- 1:35:58things you can do right now that's non non treasure
- 1:36:01oriented is let people know about the show. Let
- 1:36:04word of mouth is how things like this grow. So
- 1:36:06that's a huge value add. I disagree with Scott.
- 1:36:08Referrals are the real treasure, because as we
- 1:36:10all know, the real treasure is the friends we
- 1:36:12make along the way. Anyway, moving along, I'm
- 1:36:21so glad Tyler didn't speak either. I was like,
- 1:36:23give it give it six Mississippi of silence. The
- 1:36:27true treasure portion of time talent treasure
- 1:36:31makes you an executive producer. of that week's
- 1:36:35episode and episode 43. There are a couple different
- 1:36:38executive producers to thank with treasure donations.
- 1:36:41Let's start off with a repeated executive producer.
- 1:36:45And at this point, we'll probably have to come
- 1:36:46up with a different and better title for him.
- 1:36:49Kevin Killian is back. Hey, Kevin! With a 49
- 1:36:54.99. He said, figure your sounds out, Paul Michael
- 1:37:01Banducci. I better hear me a 999. Hey, what?
- 1:37:07Damn. Is that a real time flack throwing right
- 1:37:10now? Was he just listening in and did this just
- 1:37:13now or something? No, no, that came in last week.
- 1:37:14So I think it was all about your outlook, your
- 1:37:17outlook alerts that kept going off. Oh, oh, that.
- 1:37:21OK, I thought you meant the me not having the
- 1:37:22sound drop for the 999 part. I was like, oh,
- 1:37:25no, I know. I'll have you know I turn my email
- 1:37:28off today But I keep it up sometimes because
- 1:37:31that's where some of my articles are that I want
- 1:37:33to discuss For this podcast and if I don't keep
- 1:37:36them up, I'll forget Okay, well there's your
- 1:37:40I think we should call Kevin the glorious supreme
- 1:37:44Chalupa leader that will be his new executive
- 1:37:46producer title Next sorry, I lost my tab here.
- 1:37:53This is from Oh, they want to keep it anonymous.
- 1:37:58OK. And it is one hundred eleven dollars. Eleven
- 1:38:00cents. One one one dot one one. And that is a
- 1:38:04row of Schmeckles from anonymous. Appreciate
- 1:38:08it. Any notes? No, no. He says he actually. No,
- 1:38:12no. This person says no note. So I guess that
- 1:38:15technically is a note. So, but we'll we'll. The
- 1:38:22files are in the computer. It's so simple. We
- 1:38:25greatly appreciate the row of Schmeckels and
- 1:38:28Kevin Killian with his $49 .99 and thus concluded.
- 1:38:32Thank you, Kevin. Thank you, Anonymous. I'll
- 1:38:34take you down there for 25 Schmeckels. 25 Schmeckels?
- 1:38:39I don't know what that is. Is that a lot? Is
- 1:38:41it a little? Thank you guys very much. NoIDShow
- 1:38:44.com. Please contribute back value if you find
- 1:38:46our program valuable. Value for value model.
- 1:38:48Oh, and as the mothership, by the way, that pioneered
- 1:38:50the value for value model, John and Adam on No
- 1:38:52Agenda. Here we have a new addition to the soundboard
- 1:38:55from Adam Curry, the pod father. I guess that
- 1:38:59North Idaho show is doing okay. What? Did he
- 1:39:06talk about us? Yeah, because Sir Ducifer, who
- 1:39:09co -hosted the last show, was like, you know,
- 1:39:11I've gone up to North Idaho, I've hung out with
- 1:39:12those guys, and Sir Scott the Jew, and Adam's
- 1:39:15heard our show before, but I just love his, like,
- 1:39:18oh, because people have written him and be like,
- 1:39:21hey, you gotta have Scott on the show. And this,
- 1:39:23you know, when Ducifer brought us up, Adam said
- 1:39:26- I guess that North Idaho show is doing okay.
- 1:39:30I love it. Cool. Cool. All right. All right.
- 1:39:36So well the second half of show we got some more
- 1:39:38flock stuff while Tyler Kane is hanging out with
- 1:39:41us Community organizer Tyler Kane. Do you want
- 1:39:43to do a song and a quick pee break? Yes, and
- 1:39:47yes Okay, as long as I mean, you know, I mean,
- 1:39:49it's it's only like three and a half minutes
- 1:39:50more. So I don't think it's going to make a break,
- 1:39:52Tyler, as long as she's willing to stick with
- 1:39:53us. And if not, that's cool. Are you good on
- 1:39:55time, Tyler? Yeah, plenty. Yeah, plenty of time.
- 1:39:57Awesome. This will definitely be a longer episode.
- 1:39:59But what are you going to do? There is a there's
- 1:40:01a story that I'd like to get added in maybe while
- 1:40:03we're on break. That might be a good one. But
- 1:40:06do you want to like email me a link and I'll
- 1:40:08take a look at it? Yeah, I'll pull it up. Yeah.
- 1:40:11OK, sweet. All right. Right on. All right. DJ
- 1:40:13Paul's got a song and we'll be back in a few.
- 1:40:16All right, this is about the relationship between
- 1:40:20the state and us enjoy See you in your dreams
- 1:40:49I want you to want me I would fall from the sky
- 1:40:55Cross my heart and hope to die Turn my back from
- 1:41:02heaven's eyes Just to be with you You made me
- 1:43:53do it. You did this to us citizens. COVID forced
- 1:43:58the racketeer to close while allowing Home Depot
- 1:44:00to continue operating, and 9 -11 caused the Patriot
- 1:44:03Act, and AI caused the employees to be fired,
- 1:44:06and crime is causing the installation of ALPRs.
- 1:44:09And inflation is why we're going to tax you 12
- 1:44:11% this year as a city. Yes. Inflation is why
- 1:44:14we need to up the city's budget and raise your
- 1:44:16taxes. Inflation is why. Give us your money.
- 1:44:19Violent video games cause Columbine. No, that
- 1:44:23was the matrix. Yeah, you're right by the Wachowski
- 1:44:25sisters. You can't play video games. Yeah, you
- 1:44:27blame Hollywood Oh and Marilyn Manson Yes, we
- 1:44:32can hear you Okay Second half of show and we
- 1:44:38have lots more flock stuff Tyler. You just sent
- 1:44:40me this clip, which I Did not I'm just pulling
- 1:44:43it up straight on YouTube. We're just we're doing
- 1:44:45it live We have other stuff to get to besides
- 1:44:47flock, but of course demos, bro. I hate those
- 1:44:49things while we have Tyler here We're just gonna
- 1:44:51keep going Today's luck day luck day We're in
- 1:44:56downtown Minneapolis where hundreds of people
- 1:44:58have come out to protest against block Surveillance
- 1:45:03that they didn't sign up Why didn't they care
- 1:45:07about that six years ago? Well, this is what
- 1:45:10I I do have to wonder where was everybody? Where
- 1:45:13were you? It's like one of the bluest of the
- 1:45:15blue spots in the entire country. Where was this
- 1:45:20six years ago? Well, and that makes me wonder
- 1:45:23to channel surduce for for a second. You know,
- 1:45:25they are being spun on. The mainstream is spinning
- 1:45:28people up. Flock, flock, flock bad, flock bad.
- 1:45:31They're spinning people up. So what is what up
- 1:45:34actually is this? ...of this protest calls himself
- 1:45:40No Mark. He says he's a masked vigilante who's
- 1:45:43saving the country from Flock. Flock cameras
- 1:45:45use AI to capture the identifying characteristics
- 1:45:48of vehicles that pass by. Law enforcement uses
- 1:45:50its national database to solve crimes like stolen
- 1:45:53cars or missing people. But recently, dozens
- 1:45:55of stories have come out about police officers
- 1:45:57who are accused of abusing the data. Like officers...
- 1:46:00Just to quickly let you know the context here
- 1:46:02of what Tyler sent me. This is from CNN. This
- 1:46:05is from C freaking NN and it's titled are vandals
- 1:46:08winning the war on flock camera? So this is the
- 1:46:10mainstream media Kind of sending you the flock
- 1:46:13bad messaging charged with stalking who allegedly
- 1:46:15used the system throwing us a bone We've had
- 1:46:19a lot like the argument that it's an op I'm yeah,
- 1:46:24that kind of makes me believe it man when CNN
- 1:46:26throws us a bone starting to wonder Sorry, go
- 1:46:29ahead, Tyler. I'm in this and I've seen some
- 1:46:33weird things where there's like, people are like,
- 1:46:34oh, it's a conspiracy. People are just trying
- 1:46:37to like, why are we so focused on flock when
- 1:46:40there's other companies? But within this movement
- 1:46:44as a whole, people only have the capacity to
- 1:46:51understand so much. And so FLOC becomes synonymous,
- 1:46:56right? If you're just trying to live your day,
- 1:47:00live your life and not have to be involved in
- 1:47:03government or involved in whatever, you're not
- 1:47:06going to know Motorola or all of the in -depth
- 1:47:10details of how all of the surveillance state
- 1:47:13works. But I don't know that there's an op. I've
- 1:47:17worked with a lot of You know media and and it
- 1:47:22seems like they're just genuine people who are
- 1:47:24also concerned about mass surveillance And so
- 1:47:29and also also it buys it gets some clicks, right?
- 1:47:32It gets them, you know, it's a hot topic So yeah,
- 1:47:35it's the topic de jour right now Yeah, yeah,
- 1:47:38it's like the top. Yeah, I mean that's the really
- 1:47:40the only reason there's there's been people that
- 1:47:41have been against these for a long time I think
- 1:47:44I just started my page at the right time where
- 1:47:46there was a vacuum For the type of content that
- 1:47:50I've been creating, you know, there's something
- 1:47:52to say where where you know over There was times
- 1:47:56where I was going up by a thousand followers
- 1:47:59a day And so it's absolutely insane growth of
- 1:48:04a page. Even now I go up by, you know, hundreds.
- 1:48:08I mean, at least, depending on what I post, I
- 1:48:11mean, at least, you know, a thousand followers
- 1:48:13a week would be normal for that page. Tell me
- 1:48:19in those ranks. I actually followed you like
- 1:48:21two months ago before I knew anything else. Oh,
- 1:48:24I listen to early D -Flock. I don't know their
- 1:48:28stuff where they want to play them stuff from
- 1:48:29the current album, but early D -Flock. I knew
- 1:48:31Tyler before he was big, back when he was indie
- 1:48:33and his stuff was out of the garage. Yeah. So
- 1:48:38I think I just I don't think there's like an
- 1:48:40op. I think I think it's just this is this is
- 1:48:42the hot topic. I mean, you had, you know, the
- 1:48:45civil rights movement you've had, you know, you
- 1:48:47have there's a lot of movements that have happened
- 1:48:49in history. And I think this is just the one
- 1:48:51the one of the hour. So you're thinking maybe
- 1:48:54at least in regards to, say, the mainstream media,
- 1:48:57less of an op. At least from them or on their
- 1:49:01behalf and more of a just a target, just like
- 1:49:04other things, a target of opportunity. Hey, this
- 1:49:06is the topic de jour. We know it gets, you know,
- 1:49:08gets clicks and gets views. And some of us maybe
- 1:49:11kind of sympathize or even maybe agree and are
- 1:49:15not quite so pro surveillance. Maybe that's kind
- 1:49:18of what you're thinking. It's more. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:49:20some of our target of opportunity. Some of the
- 1:49:22reporters I've talked to are fervently against
- 1:49:25these. A lot of times they have to present the
- 1:49:29media in a certain way. Some I've met have been
- 1:49:35neutral on the topic. But generally, if you're
- 1:49:42against something, you're going to want to use
- 1:49:44your platform. that ties in with the question
- 1:49:48I've got perfectly Tyler do you I guess have
- 1:49:51you ever pushed back on them regarding the COVID
- 1:49:54stuff then because if they're that is my question
- 1:49:59again and again and again people the people who
- 1:50:00are against flock but were totally okay with
- 1:50:03all of the bullshit they pulled on us on COVID
- 1:50:05then I just go okay you know are you a changed
- 1:50:08person or is this just because it's cool to be
- 1:50:12anti -flock right now, but it was definitely
- 1:50:14not cool to be non -compliant in 2020. Where
- 1:50:19the fuck were these people six years ago? Let
- 1:50:21me put it in slightly different words. This is
- 1:50:23extremely dangerous to our democracy. This is
- 1:50:25extremely dangerous to our democracy. This is
- 1:50:30extremely dangerous to our democracy. This is
- 1:50:33extremely dangerous to our democracy. This is
- 1:50:35extremely dangerous to our democracy. This is
- 1:50:35extremely dangerous. Have you seen, Tyler, the
- 1:50:39super cuts of all of the network affiliates from
- 1:50:42coast to coast, all of the KTVBs? And they're
- 1:50:46all saying the same thing about disinformation
- 1:50:48and there's been a rash of this. And there is
- 1:50:52a there is a top down sort of script that will
- 1:50:56be disseminated. Not necessarily every single
- 1:50:58story and not not every single reporter quote
- 1:51:01-unquote to a person I'm sure that when you meet
- 1:51:04Haley from KTVB at the Twin Falls City Council
- 1:51:08meeting She's just like a normal she's a person
- 1:51:10and maybe she has her own opinion on a flock
- 1:51:12camera Those two things exist independently of
- 1:51:14each other any given reporter might be fine and
- 1:51:17normal in a human But the apparatus is reptilian
- 1:51:20so if they are from the top down and when CNN
- 1:51:24deciding what they curate how they present it
- 1:51:27and just what they present in the first place,
- 1:51:30it is top down. Yeah, I don't know, because just
- 1:51:34this is just from my like from my experience,
- 1:51:37right? I mean, I've had I've had, you know, times
- 1:51:40where I've been like, man, I really sucked at
- 1:51:42this interview. But they end up, you know, making,
- 1:51:46you know, decent content, or they use it in a
- 1:51:49way that still presents, you know, it might be
- 1:51:54not necessarily like, we're against Flock, cut
- 1:51:58them down or go yell at your local council member.
- 1:52:03But they still seem to present everything in
- 1:52:07a way that's like favorable and putting information
- 1:52:13out in front of people to see what's happening.
- 1:52:19And so, I don't know, I have a hard time because
- 1:52:23I've received really good I feel like I've received
- 1:52:25really good, you know, media coverage and they've
- 1:52:28been very willing to work with us. And I've been
- 1:52:32more than willing to work with them. And it doesn't
- 1:52:35really matter which this is such a nonpartisan
- 1:52:37issue that it really doesn't matter, you know,
- 1:52:41which media outlet it is. I think they all they
- 1:52:46all just want their clicks, right? But they're
- 1:52:49there to present the news. But to say that we
- 1:52:53get fair news coverage, I think is is is a statement
- 1:52:56that could be made. I mean, I guess we'll take
- 1:52:59any help we can get. And, you know, you just
- 1:53:03have to forgive guys like Scott and I for being
- 1:53:05so jaded about it. No. And like like obviously,
- 1:53:09you know, they they they can't have their own
- 1:53:13agenda. I mean, maybe maybe they just haven't
- 1:53:15caught up yet. I don't know. So any time the
- 1:53:19mainstream. news apparatus embraces something
- 1:53:22or endorses something or even takes a mildly
- 1:53:27favorable position on something almost immediately.
- 1:53:31Again, for guys like Scott and I, we'd look at
- 1:53:33that and we go. Yeah. Why? Huh? Why? They're
- 1:53:36making it the topic du jour. Why are they doing
- 1:53:38that? Yeah, and I'm we're not trying to put you
- 1:53:41on the defensive But I guess we just naturally
- 1:53:43are gonna push back a little bit on that particular
- 1:53:46point where it's like nah We don't I you cannot
- 1:53:48hate the mainstream media enough and but let's
- 1:53:52finish the CNN you cannot So we just immediately
- 1:53:55go yeah, yeah hundreds of times Look at that.
- 1:54:01Oh, wow. Someone got this one. Someone beat me
- 1:54:02to it. It's duct taped. Every week I would see
- 1:54:05a new article about how these cameras are being
- 1:54:07misused, how they're being used to stalk people.
- 1:54:09It's way too powerful. People are now fighting
- 1:54:11back against blocked cameras. We found that people
- 1:54:14have damaged, destroyed, or stolen these cameras
- 1:54:16in at least 33 states. Earlier this month in
- 1:54:19Winona, Minnesota, police announced that every
- 1:54:21single camera in town had been stolen. This is
- 1:54:25one of the eight cameras. that Winona Police
- 1:54:27say were cut down by vandals. F*** a flock camera!
- 1:54:34Did you get that? Yep, that's the post. You bitch.
- 1:54:38So somebody just cut this off? Uh -huh. Just
- 1:54:41got up here and... He's demonstrating what it's
- 1:54:45like to use a right angle grinder. That's good.
- 1:54:48Damage. Winona Police said the cameras would
- 1:54:50not be replaced. They're one of about a hundred
- 1:54:52cities around the country who've said they're
- 1:54:54no longer using flock. We're not great. I cannot
- 1:54:58wait for a patriot. The second patriot to come
- 1:55:02out. Yeah. Gibson was in it again. Oh, the patriot
- 1:55:07movie where, you know, he's leaning up against
- 1:55:10one of these flat cameras, but with a hacksaw
- 1:55:12and he's like, Lord, make me fast and accurate.
- 1:55:14Same small miss small cameras. Just. Let it settle
- 1:55:20down. It'll go away. As soon as the football.
- 1:55:23Oh, will it? Oh, wait. Here's whoa. Whoa. This
- 1:55:26is I think is the this is the key line right
- 1:55:27here. Oh, we just got to hear what our glorious
- 1:55:30supreme Chalupa leader thinks of us right there.
- 1:55:32Here, listen away. As soon as the football season
- 1:55:35starts, if the Vikings start winning, nobody,
- 1:55:39nobody is going to pay a whole lot of attention.
- 1:55:44Who are they interviewing? Who is this? Is he
- 1:55:45the mayor or city councilman? Who's this guy?
- 1:55:48a council member. I think he's just a council.
- 1:55:50Okay. Can you guys feel the contempt and the
- 1:55:56disdain dripping from that man's mouth? Once
- 1:55:59the flock of stupid sheep have their beer and
- 1:56:03circuses to entertain them, they're not going
- 1:56:06to care about us leaders surveilling them, will
- 1:56:09they? Well, unless the Vikings have a losing
- 1:56:11record. Yeah, if their sports team starts sports
- 1:56:14and hard enough, this will all blow over. Wow.
- 1:56:17Shortening the amount of time they store the
- 1:56:18data and adding flags so they can catch people
- 1:56:21who are searching it inappropriately. I think
- 1:56:23it's OK. I think is it I think that's the part
- 1:56:25you were you were keen on. Yeah. So yeah. And
- 1:56:28then I think I can't remember if it's this video,
- 1:56:30but it goes on and they end up. There's like
- 1:56:34a part where they're in the council meeting and
- 1:56:36this could have been somewhere else, but they're
- 1:56:38talking about the cameras and they're not putting
- 1:56:40them back up. And they're like, well, we don't
- 1:56:43want to reward the, uh, the criminals who cut
- 1:56:46them down, but we're not going to put them back
- 1:56:48up. Um, obviously, cause they didn't, I think
- 1:56:51they didn't even stand for, they weren't even
- 1:56:53up very long. I think they were taken down like
- 1:56:55almost as soon as they were put up. And so, um,
- 1:57:01it's just funny. So like, we're not, I'm not
- 1:57:04here trying to say we need, we're, we're, we're
- 1:57:06going to cut them down. Um, by any means, but
- 1:57:09it's just no, no, we would never condone. It's
- 1:57:12funny where the obviously anti -state behavior,
- 1:57:14the cost, the cost of putting them up was them,
- 1:57:18you know, someone taking them down and then,
- 1:57:21and then them realizing we can't control this
- 1:57:24maybe until football season. I do have it. We
- 1:57:28do have an idea for you, Tyler, that we wanted
- 1:57:29to run by you, that we came up with a couple
- 1:57:31of weeks ago. Especially since you have the reach
- 1:57:34that you have now on Facebook is we were thinking
- 1:57:36that your next ad campaign Actually, instead
- 1:57:38of it being anti -flock should be very very pro
- 1:57:42flock but directed towards a particular population
- 1:57:47and demographic in the downtown Spokane area.
- 1:57:50And importantly, it's more like a PSA for that
- 1:57:53group of people and letting them know that each
- 1:57:55flock camera contains three and a half pounds
- 1:57:57of copper and a couple of grams of gold. And
- 1:57:59then just let nature take its course. Just let
- 1:58:03nature take its course. Just gonna throw that
- 1:58:06out there as your next, you know, campaign, marketing
- 1:58:11campaign. So that one's for free. I won't even
- 1:58:13charge you for that one. Here's the clip from
- 1:58:15it. I do like the fact that what you were saying,
- 1:58:18how the city council was like, well, we don't
- 1:58:20want to reward them by putting them back up.
- 1:58:22Basically, that was them saying, well, you guys
- 1:58:25didn't win. We just we're just retreating for
- 1:58:29the moment. Right. Well, it's funny. I mean,
- 1:58:31put them back up. That same guy is probably just
- 1:58:32going to take them back to when the Lord's there's
- 1:58:36been there was a city I saw in Texas and they're
- 1:58:40like, They're like, okay, Acosta's, you know,
- 1:58:44basically by them removing flock, because, because
- 1:58:46the cameras kept getting taken down so much,
- 1:58:48it was so costly for them to replace them that
- 1:58:50he's like, Oh, I'm going to save the county $40
- 1:58:53,000 by this contract because of all of the vandalism.
- 1:58:58Um, and it's so, it's, and I just want to make
- 1:59:02this abundantly clear. It's so unfortunate that
- 1:59:05these, these council members and, and, and well,
- 1:59:09well, I'll call them the leaders. We were just
- 1:59:12talking about that. But they don't even, they
- 1:59:17don't even glorious leaders. They don't even,
- 1:59:20they don't even listen to, to the people. And
- 1:59:23so the fact that people are saying, this is my
- 1:59:26only recourse is, is terrible. And it's a reflection
- 1:59:31of, of these council members that are not willing
- 1:59:36to serve the people. They're serving their own
- 1:59:38interests. They're serving the idea of give police
- 1:59:43everything they ask for in the name of public
- 1:59:46safety. And it's disgusting. At the end of the
- 1:59:51day, I don't know how to describe it other than
- 1:59:53it's disgusting. that people have to take it
- 1:59:57into their own hands. Those who would give up
- 2:00:00essential liberty to purchase a little temporary
- 2:00:02safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. That's
- 2:00:05a Ben Franklin quote. By the way, this guy is
- 2:00:07Jerome Christensen, the guy we're hearing. He's
- 2:00:09a Winona City Council member, Jerome Christensen.
- 2:00:11Brush out and buy new cameras. Just let it settle
- 2:00:14down. It'll go away. As soon as the football
- 2:00:17season starts, if the Vikings start... The sad
- 2:00:20thing is that he's not... Entirely wrong people
- 2:00:23have Yeah, they have people have short attention
- 2:00:27spans and they have a small bandwidth and that
- 2:00:30goes back to what Tyler was saying earlier when
- 2:00:31he says Flock is sort of the net, you know There's
- 2:00:34there's multiple different brands multiple different
- 2:00:36companies multiple different issues going on
- 2:00:37here But flocks kind of the rallying cry because
- 2:00:40it's sort of a catch -all because people don't
- 2:00:42have the bandwidth for anything else Which then
- 2:00:45kind of segues us perfectly back into where we
- 2:00:47started this conversation, which was like with
- 2:00:50mayor Westlin in Post Falls, where he issues
- 2:00:53a statement. And it's cool. It sounds good. And
- 2:00:56I think I know Randy Westlin. In fact, when I
- 2:01:00ran the racketeer cigar lounge, we backed his
- 2:01:03campaign for city council actively. And we actually
- 2:01:06thought we were going to get crushed. I did.
- 2:01:08Anyways, apparently they knew something I didn't.
- 2:01:11And he won. And so that was really cool. We were
- 2:01:13a part of that. So I actually backed his campaign
- 2:01:14for that and backed his campaign for mayor, you
- 2:01:17know, financially for the city council member,
- 2:01:19not so much for mayor because I was in a different
- 2:01:20position at the time. But I know the guy personally,
- 2:01:24I know the community he's a part of and a decent
- 2:01:27dude, very bright and about as close to a stalwart,
- 2:01:31more conventional conservative as you're ever,
- 2:01:34ever going to get as a mayor. But even this guy.
- 2:01:38Yeah. Can't get rid of the surveillance in Post
- 2:01:41Falls this guy and a fairly conservative City
- 2:01:44Council I might add with Joe Malloy on there
- 2:01:46who I also know and who is a good friend and
- 2:01:48a cigar smoker like you're talking about a City
- 2:01:51Council and a mayor who are close to as conservative
- 2:01:53as you ever ever get in a town that size Maybe
- 2:01:56the most They will never get rid of the surveillance
- 2:01:59because they can't for one reason or another
- 2:02:00there's always gonna be an excuse or a contract
- 2:02:02They can't break or whatever or the police got
- 2:02:05to have whatever the police got to have. And
- 2:02:07that's the problem with conservatives is if the
- 2:02:08police say jump, the conservatives go, yes, sir.
- 2:02:10And then when you jump, please land on my neck
- 2:02:13when you come back down. And then this same conservative
- 2:02:17city council and mayor are saying, yeah, now
- 2:02:19we also have to tax everybody to the tune of
- 2:02:219 % to make up for all this other stuff that's
- 2:02:24not our faults. I don't care how conservative
- 2:02:27you say you are. If you're in the apparatus,
- 2:02:29there's only so much you can do to slow down
- 2:02:31or stop the apparatus. It's a losing thing which
- 2:02:36then takes me to my next the next segue and where
- 2:02:39I think I want to I think we ought to end this
- 2:02:41podcast on on this is A and this is for for you
- 2:02:45Tyler in particular. So we got you here a What
- 2:02:49do we do? From here, like where do we go? What
- 2:02:53do we do? What have you you know? What do you
- 2:02:55find that is working maybe versus what's not
- 2:02:57working? What tactics work? What don't you know?
- 2:02:59What do we do? And then is there hope? Yeah,
- 2:03:04so the thing is a lot of people are against these
- 2:03:07and and and we have I think an overwhelming community
- 2:03:11support I Initially was very You know faithful
- 2:03:19like had to stop that. Okay, maybe some councils
- 2:03:22will take some pressure and do things correctly
- 2:03:28And we haven't seen that, right? I have not seen
- 2:03:31one council other than, well, Jerome canceled
- 2:03:35theirs. They had the police were asking for money
- 2:03:38for Flock and they didn't do it. Salmon put in
- 2:03:43a resolution to not to stop him, but basically
- 2:03:49to require council approval to do it. essentially
- 2:03:54blocking the back doorways these have been going
- 2:03:57in, whether it be with grants or just coming
- 2:04:01below procurement requirements. And then Clearwater
- 2:04:05County did cancel theirs when the new sheriff
- 2:04:08took over. So we have seen these small wins in
- 2:04:13smaller areas. but we haven't seen any big striking
- 2:04:19winds with like, you know, I was hopeful that
- 2:04:22maybe twin falls. But I think keeping pressure
- 2:04:27on the city councils has been good. It's creating
- 2:04:32a conversation. The next thing, big thing, and
- 2:04:37you know, I've talked with like Idaho Freedom
- 2:04:39Foundation. There's a lot of. pressure within
- 2:04:45the legislature to do something this session.
- 2:04:50That was going to be my next question. Is there
- 2:04:52any hope of or momentum behind a statewide effort?
- 2:04:56My really big worry with them is that they aren't
- 2:05:02going to do a complete ban. My worry is we already
- 2:05:08have garbage for what our law is that 49 1432.
- 2:05:17What they're going to do, I don't know. But like
- 2:05:20I've said, there's really no safe way to regulate
- 2:05:23this. And so what I'm hopeful for is that maybe
- 2:05:29we could push, you know, obviously, like, I can't
- 2:05:33push, but, you know, we can be very vocal about
- 2:05:38trying to push a complete ban. When the legislation
- 2:05:42session opens, I'm going to try to get thousands
- 2:05:45of people on the steps to go and protest this,
- 2:05:49to really show that we don't want this. And I've
- 2:05:53never even done it, gone and protested something,
- 2:05:55but this is something that we need to be protesting.
- 2:05:59I mean, there's absolutely no reason that the
- 2:06:01government should be tracking everywhere we go.
- 2:06:03um and creating searchable databases and not
- 2:06:06even just searchable databases but databases
- 2:06:08that predict where you're going to be at certain
- 2:06:10times of the day or or where you went based on
- 2:06:13you know creating heat maps where you might be
- 2:06:15based off of where you've been and and where
- 2:06:18you're going do you think you this could be a
- 2:06:21bipartisan effort in the state legislature and
- 2:06:23i and then it is i mean i've talked i've talked
- 2:06:25to democrats i've talked to i've talked to um
- 2:06:29you know republicans independents most I mean
- 2:06:33it seems like a lot of people are against it
- 2:06:35that the problem is is there so many moderates
- 2:06:38and those are the people that I that I fear is
- 2:06:40this is this moderate these people that are very
- 2:06:43soft on every issue like for example I mean with
- 2:06:47Twin Falls they wouldn't pass a total ban but
- 2:06:50they were willing to to to amend it to where
- 2:06:54if the state does, you know, if the state bans
- 2:06:58it, they'll, they'll be in compliance within
- 2:07:00seven days here. I have a twin false clip. Let
- 2:07:04me play it. Twin falls signed off on a spending
- 2:07:06plan worth more than 96 .5 million dollars. City
- 2:07:10council approved the budget for the next fiscal
- 2:07:11year and a unanimous seven to zero vote. Council
- 2:07:15members also moved ahead with the city's flock
- 2:07:18license plate reader contract. That contract
- 2:07:21was approved in a six to one vote, but with some
- 2:07:23restrictions. First, the AI and machine learning
- 2:07:27piece of the equipment will be turned off. Second,
- 2:07:30the national search feature will also stay on.
- 2:07:32Flip the switch. The national search feature
- 2:07:34will also stay on, unless Twin Falls police say
- 2:07:37they need it for a local crime investigation.
- 2:07:40Unless they need it. Wait, so we'll turn it off
- 2:07:43until we need it, then we'll turn it on. But
- 2:07:45you won't know whether or not we turned it back
- 2:07:47off. While a requirement for quarterly reporting
- 2:07:50was not formally included in the motion, city
- 2:07:53staff told council it'll provide periodic reports
- 2:07:56are being used during open council also clarified
- 2:08:01the cont in the future. This comes Idaho chair
- 2:08:07filed a torc Twin Falls is allowing flo of license
- 2:08:12plates to imp violating Idaho law. And extensively.
- 2:08:17These camera Don't worry. We're gonna use it
- 2:08:27properly Flip the switch citizen now go watch
- 2:08:31your sports ball team Yeah, yeah, we'll flip
- 2:08:33the switch back if the Vikings post up, you know
- 2:08:36a record above 500 So as we walk around Idaho
- 2:08:40if we start seeing flock cameras hacked down
- 2:08:43everywhere We're gonna know that the Seahawks
- 2:08:45are having a losing season So but Twin Falls,
- 2:08:51I mean they had hundreds of Thousands of searches
- 2:08:54because they were sharing federally and and it
- 2:08:56took us doing a records request We did a records
- 2:08:58request said hey, who are you sharing with and
- 2:09:00what are the give me three months of? searches
- 2:09:03from external searches and and Just an absolute
- 2:09:08garbage mess of searches were being done Florida
- 2:09:13Fish and Wildlife Commission was searching for
- 2:09:16on behalf of ice for immigration. Why is the
- 2:09:20why is the Fishing Game Commission in Florida
- 2:09:23searching Twin Falls data for non criminal ice
- 2:09:26complaints. I don't I don't know. It's beyond
- 2:09:29me Like an epidemic of illegal immigrants fishing
- 2:09:33without a license Slow the spread So, I mean,
- 2:09:39the stuff we found in there and then they go
- 2:09:43into these concessions, right? And so, you know,
- 2:09:45there was like, there was tons of hundreds of
- 2:09:48thousands of searches for traffic infractions,
- 2:09:51which isn't even allowed to happen. Like you
- 2:09:53can't even search flock data in Idaho or ALPR
- 2:09:56data in Idaho for traffic incidences. It has
- 2:10:00to be a misdemeanor or felony. But they give
- 2:10:05these things as a concession. It's like they're
- 2:10:07trying to throw us peasants' bread or something.
- 2:10:11They're like, oh, our concession is to remove
- 2:10:15the national share. Well, you were doing it illegally
- 2:10:19to start with. Well, and how do you know they've
- 2:10:23actually done it? That's the other thing. There's
- 2:10:24no accountability. There's no audit. We had to
- 2:10:27do a record. They just tell you they shut it
- 2:10:29off, and you have to go, OK, I believe you. Right
- 2:10:33and you know the proof that we have because there's
- 2:10:35a box that they check on flock and flock Purposely
- 2:10:39ops in so when you when when a city gets flock
- 2:10:43that box is pre checked So unless they know and
- 2:10:46uncheck it Anyone can access their data and especially
- 2:10:51where we do. I mean, it's a weak law, but we
- 2:10:53do have a law You know, in other states, if you
- 2:10:57look at some of the searches that happen in other
- 2:10:59states, it's like expired registration. And it's
- 2:11:03like, so you're using this system because someone
- 2:11:06has expired tags on their vehicle and you're
- 2:11:10searching for them. Oh, their driver's license
- 2:11:14is expired. We're going to see if they drove.
- 2:11:17And these are the searches that are happening
- 2:11:19and it's the real reality of what's happening
- 2:11:21across the state. Scott Herndon did a post where
- 2:11:28he was saying, essentially Idaho already banned
- 2:11:32red light cameras, stoplight cameras. So why
- 2:11:36are we participating in this ALPR system? It's
- 2:11:42the same thing just under a different... And
- 2:11:46for anybody who might not know, Scott Herndon
- 2:11:48represents, well, he will represent if he's voted
- 2:11:50in in November. Right now he's running as a conservative
- 2:11:54Republican candidate out of District 1. That's
- 2:11:56my district here, Legislative District 1 up in
- 2:11:58Idaho for Senate, Idaho State Senate. He's been
- 2:12:02in that seat before and him and Jim Woodward
- 2:12:05have sort of like alternated in that seat a couple
- 2:12:07of times with oil and water between the two.
- 2:12:10They both call themselves conservative, but Jim
- 2:12:12Woodward's no conservative. Scott Herndon tends
- 2:12:14to be on the ball when it comes to things like
- 2:12:17like the this flock camera stuff and property
- 2:12:19taxes and things of that nature of course he
- 2:12:21gets a lot of flack for it because the establishment
- 2:12:23does not like that fellow which is why I like
- 2:12:26him well that's who Scott Herndon is the reason
- 2:12:29for all of it is the same reason that when you
- 2:12:31meet an individual KTVB talking head at a city
- 2:12:35council meeting, she might be perfectly pleasant
- 2:12:37or maybe even in line with you philosophically,
- 2:12:41but the apparatus is reptilian and relentless.
- 2:12:43The exact same thing applies with individual
- 2:12:45city council members or Mayor Randy Westland
- 2:12:48or Scott Herndon. The apparatus itself is reptilian
- 2:12:51and relentless. It's hard. I think the saying
- 2:12:57literally is you can't fight city hall. Or it's
- 2:13:00really hard to fight City Hall. And poor Tyler
- 2:13:04is learning it the hard way. But that doesn't
- 2:13:07mean that we stop fighting. Not at all. And as
- 2:13:09a matter of fact, maybe this would be a good
- 2:13:11time to play from your hometown, from Wilder.
- 2:13:14This is again KTVB. As we wait for President
- 2:13:17Donald Trump to release his stance on automated
- 2:13:20license plate reader cameras, one Idaho man hopes
- 2:13:23his petition will lead to the technology being
- 2:13:26banned in his community. Welcome to the news
- 2:13:28at 10. I'm Morgan Romero, Aspen Schumper joining
- 2:13:30us now in studio Aspen. It sounds like Wilder
- 2:13:32could become the first Idaho city to ban these
- 2:13:36cameras. Yeah, that's right. This man says no
- 2:13:38amount of safeguards will solve what he sees
- 2:13:40as the real problem. Calling it mass surveillance
- 2:13:42that needs to be All right, right there. We're
- 2:13:46going to break this down for a sec. Did you see
- 2:13:48how they prefaced it? What he sees as problems
- 2:13:51and calls it, quote, mass surveillance, end quote.
- 2:13:57But let's see what this crazy has to say. Which,
- 2:14:00of course, it's not an opinion. You can say it's
- 2:14:03good, but what it's described as, it is surveillance.
- 2:14:07I just love that that's the preference is what
- 2:14:09he sees as mass surveillance. No motherfucker.
- 2:14:12It's objectively mass surveillance. It is literally
- 2:14:15objectively factually mass surveillance. He just
- 2:14:19that's what he calls it. You're just driving
- 2:14:21to the store. You're just driving. So this is
- 2:14:23where this is pretty meta. We're going to hear
- 2:14:24Tyler on top of Tyler. On the corner is tin foil
- 2:14:29hat wearer Tyler Kane talking about what he sees
- 2:14:32as mass surveillance. More at 11. It's inception.
- 2:14:37You're just driving to the store. You're just
- 2:14:39driving to church. They track anyone that drives
- 2:14:43past them indiscriminately. Did you hear that
- 2:14:45now? You know what they call that, Tyler, when
- 2:14:47they do, you know, like they're emphasizing?
- 2:14:49Driving to church. So you're driving to church
- 2:14:53and then they turn way up the sound of a car
- 2:14:55going by. That's called a nat pop. They track
- 2:14:57anyone that drives past them indiscriminately.
- 2:15:00Automated license plate readers have become common
- 2:15:02in police departments across the country. The
- 2:15:05cameras photograph ev logging the location, time
- 2:15:10into searchable databases. L tell us it's a tool
- 2:15:14that on your misdemeanor crimes find missing
- 2:15:19people. But t drawn fierce opposition f members,
- 2:15:23including wilder Cain to say that that now w
- 2:15:28just because the technolo mean we should. Fourth
- 2:15:32ame Unreasonable searches and seizures over the
- 2:15:37last three years 16 idaho agencies that we've
- 2:15:40been You had you had a i'm sure you had a good
- 2:15:42follow -up to that Yeah, how like that's what
- 2:15:45like a like a 60 second 80 second answer and
- 2:15:48they include like how heavily i've had I've had
- 2:15:52hour -long Interviews and i'm like man that went
- 2:15:55that went really well and then they use five
- 2:15:57seconds. I'm like, why did I waste my time? And
- 2:16:03we're over here going, mainstream media, dude.
- 2:16:08Yeah, mainstream media. This is extremely dangerous
- 2:16:10to our democracy. over the last three years agencies
- 2:16:16that we've been started using the technolo are
- 2:16:20stalking. I think it violation and I think it
- 2:16:24privacy and even further trust with the police
- 2:16:29depa reported came the co found first started
- 2:16:34voicing his year. After discovering th bought
- 2:16:38and installed flock without counsel's approva
- 2:16:42A move. Idaho's attorney office says didn't requi
- 2:16:48public comment. And that's road. I think there
- 2:16:50needs when we're putting these a petition and
- 2:16:54gathered enou thinking more like public and feathering
- 2:16:59her city c to adopt language banning No, first
- 2:17:11off, I don't want the voters to decide that shit
- 2:17:13either just because nine and out of ten people
- 2:17:15decide they want to be surveilled doesn't mean
- 2:17:17I want to be surveilled. Fuck them. No. No. King
- 2:17:22Paul, glorious burrito supreme leader Paul Manducci.
- 2:17:26Paul Michael Banducci says, no, thank you. Who
- 2:17:29wants to just be left alone? Super King light
- 2:17:31of me. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Well, screw you guys.
- 2:17:34I'm going home. Or let voters decide. The petition
- 2:17:38doesn't stop at just banning ALPRs, but it bans
- 2:17:41facial recognition and predictive policing systems
- 2:17:44too. It would allow security cameras for city
- 2:17:47property, but requires city council approval
- 2:17:49for any new surveillance technology and mandates
- 2:17:52data be stored locally with access logs, not
- 2:17:55on a third party cloud. This comes just a week
- 2:17:58after flock safety. The company behind Wilder's
- 2:18:00cameras announced it's creating new safeguards
- 2:18:03aimed at addressing privacy concerns. Starting
- 2:18:05January 1st, data will only be held for a week
- 2:18:08instead of a month unless it's tied to an open
- 2:18:10investigation and kept longer. There will also
- 2:18:13be a new system. you have to do is deem anything
- 2:18:17and everything an open investigation. It's an
- 2:18:19open investigation for it indefinitely. Well,
- 2:18:21they've always been able to just download. They
- 2:18:23can just download the data. So flock. Yeah, flock
- 2:18:25like only retains the data for so long, but they
- 2:18:29can just click a button. I think mass like download
- 2:18:32everything. And it even says that like like right.
- 2:18:37And so they only really own like when we talk
- 2:18:40about them owning the data is like really they
- 2:18:42only own the data and the fact that One, they
- 2:18:46can download it and two, they can access it.
- 2:18:49But if you read a Flock contract, it even goes
- 2:18:51like any work product made by their system is
- 2:18:55expressively retained and owned by Flock. It's
- 2:18:58ridiculous. And then they even purposely frame
- 2:19:03everything as customer data. Yeah, I love that.
- 2:19:06The customer owns customer data. We were talking
- 2:19:08about that. Just the other day, weren't we, Scott,
- 2:19:11about how I think it was just last podcast I
- 2:19:13told the story. Your payment. Yes. I got nicked
- 2:19:17for a late payment on an Idaho income tax. We're
- 2:19:20shutting off your water. A little too late. Oh,
- 2:19:23they didn't threaten to shut off my water. No,
- 2:19:25no. They threatened to seize my home, garnish
- 2:19:27my wages, and take my cars for $130 in late payment.
- 2:19:31You would have had it easy, Tyler, with just
- 2:19:33no running water. Seriously. Yeah. Get bent,
- 2:19:36Tyler. You think you've got problems? I've got
- 2:19:39problems. Yeah. But at the end, that was the
- 2:19:40best at the end of it. When I paid online, they
- 2:19:45sent the next page that popped up. Boop was a
- 2:19:49tell us how we did survey. I could rate them
- 2:19:52one. I could rate the Idaho State Tax Commission
- 2:19:54one to five stars on their service. I think it
- 2:19:57was a how do you rate our services? I gave him
- 2:20:03a three would not recommend except for once a
- 2:20:06year. Yeah. It's really an ungrateful customer.
- 2:20:09Yet another one. It felt like theft, but three
- 2:20:13stars. This is the last of this KTVB clip on
- 2:20:15Wilder. There will also be a new system that
- 2:20:17will lock out users who searches display abnormal
- 2:20:20activity to cut back on abuse by normal activity.
- 2:20:24Like searching for your ex -wife's SUV. Who gets
- 2:20:26to decide what that is? Yeah. Oh, you know who
- 2:20:29gets to decide. I think there's no acceptable
- 2:20:31level of safeguard. It should require a warrant
- 2:20:34and it should be an individualized warrant, not
- 2:20:36a mass surveillance system. The city's police
- 2:20:40department says it has no further comment at
- 2:20:42this time. The City Council has 30 days to vote
- 2:20:45on it by September 5th. Morgan, if Council chooses
- 2:20:48to reject the petition and not adopt the language
- 2:20:50or not vote on it in time, then per Idaho code,
- 2:20:54the question will be placed on the November 2027
- 2:20:56ballot left up to voters to decide. Yeah, but
- 2:21:00you better vote correctly or otherwise we'll
- 2:21:01put it back on the next ballot until you do.
- 2:21:04This issue in Wilder has been hashtag vote harder.
- 2:21:06Obviously, this is garnering a lot of national
- 2:21:07attention right now. But I know Aspen, you've
- 2:21:09been covering the issue in Wilder for a while.
- 2:21:11Yeah, those concerns and Wilder really started
- 2:21:13this year as residents were noticing these cameras
- 2:21:16going live. All right, Aspen. Thank you. Yeah.
- 2:21:21So I from from So, okay, so the last council
- 2:21:26meeting, there was a council member that brought
- 2:21:27forth an ordinance that would require any sort
- 2:21:31of surveillance technology and it was even forward
- 2:21:34thinking kind of like my ordinances to where
- 2:21:38it would ban, you know, sort of biometric tracking,
- 2:21:41you know, stuff like that. It wouldn't ban them,
- 2:21:45but it would require that the council uh be the
- 2:21:50one to approve it so where like we had the police
- 2:21:53chief and the mayor doing it and one of the council
- 2:21:55members was saying well we shouldn't be putting
- 2:21:58up department heads in that we don't trust and
- 2:22:01that essentially these should be department head
- 2:22:04decisions on that mass surveillance and yeah
- 2:22:07it was crazy unelected bureaucrats council members
- 2:22:11They don't want to be the ones to have to make
- 2:22:14the decision because they mostly agree with these
- 2:22:18surveillance systems, but they don't want to
- 2:22:20lose their seats by being on the record as voting
- 2:22:23for it. That's why they do this. This is a delegation
- 2:22:25of responsibility. Right. And so I don't know
- 2:22:28what the council is going to vote. I mean, I
- 2:22:30suspect there's at least one council member that
- 2:22:33might vote no or might vote for it. The rest
- 2:22:38I have I have zero clue how they're going to
- 2:22:40vote. But I mean, hopefully, I mean, if they
- 2:22:44vote, if they vote yes, and these are gone, then
- 2:22:46great. I mean, if they vote no, it goes on the
- 2:22:48ballot and hopefully the voters vote correctly.
- 2:22:52It'll be November of 27. And I mean, it'll be,
- 2:22:59maybe there'll be a better voter turnout because
- 2:23:01there'll be a mayor race. And I think a couple
- 2:23:03council seats will be open. So, I mean, it'd
- 2:23:10be interesting to see this is one of the we were
- 2:23:12talking about how to be involved. And I don't
- 2:23:16think we can just sit here and wait for to, you
- 2:23:19know, hope that the legislature does something
- 2:23:22to hope that the, you know, city councils are
- 2:23:26going to do something. Thankfully, in Idaho,
- 2:23:28we do have the power to petition. This is going
- 2:23:32back. I've never done any of this stuff before.
- 2:23:35I've literally had to learn how to build an ordinance.
- 2:23:38I was watching, and it's so funny, I was watching
- 2:23:42one of the council members when that other ordinance
- 2:23:46was presented that would require at least them
- 2:23:49to vote on it in the future. She was looking
- 2:23:54that over with the city attorney before the meeting
- 2:23:56and she was, there's. I don't know if you've
- 2:23:59ever seen an ordinance and particularly in Idaho,
- 2:24:03you can use like whereas statements. So you'll
- 2:24:05be like, whereas I find mass surveillance disgusting,
- 2:24:08whereas I find this unconstitutional. You could
- 2:24:11write really whatever. But she was like, why
- 2:24:13does it have all these words? And I'm like looking
- 2:24:17at her and I'm like, I'm like, how do you not
- 2:24:20like, how are you a council member and you don't
- 2:24:22understand like the basic like function of how
- 2:24:25an ordinance is built. But why male models? It's
- 2:24:34the people that we allow to be in these positions,
- 2:24:37they're not educated in what they're doing. Like
- 2:24:40we're talking about, they think department heads
- 2:24:43should be making decisions for the community.
- 2:24:46When we elected them to be the one to make decisions,
- 2:24:48we never elected the police chief. The police
- 2:24:50chief was put into that position by the mayor.
- 2:24:57um so it'll be interesting uh it's on the on
- 2:25:00the first september uh september first is when
- 2:25:02they'll vote um and i mean it'll be really telling
- 2:25:07you know so that's uh that's just a week away
- 2:25:10or less yeah yeah it's exactly a week away hey
- 2:25:13how fitting so one week from now we'll have a
- 2:25:15well uh we'll see how that goes huh yeah it's
- 2:25:19exciting um it you know there's a lot of work
- 2:25:21i had to get i i mean 60 so the initial signatures
- 2:25:25you need 20 um, 20 signatures. I, I had somewhere
- 2:25:29around 30, uh, when I submitted my first set
- 2:25:33of signatures. Um, but, and then it goes through
- 2:25:36the process. There's a bunch of things that have
- 2:25:38to go on. And then at the end, um, you need 20
- 2:25:42% of the registered voters, uh, or not registered.
- 2:25:46It's 20 % of who voted in the last city election.
- 2:25:49Um, I need 13, 13 signatures. And so, and we've
- 2:25:57we've I've seen because there's there's been
- 2:25:59interest in repeating this in other cities. So,
- 2:26:04like CUNA might be doing one same with Twin Falls.
- 2:26:09So, there's interest across the state to basically
- 2:26:12repeat that. I think Gooding County. So, it's
- 2:26:15a good way to get involved and it's a good time
- 2:26:17to do ones at municipal levels just with the
- 2:26:22way. The timing because it has to go on that
- 2:26:26odd numbered here After this election right now
- 2:26:30this election cycle. It might be good to target
- 2:26:32a county Because then you would be targeting
- 2:26:35the 28 election and so This is a good way that
- 2:26:42that at least at least at the end of the day
- 2:26:45the people are getting a say in What's going
- 2:26:48on because the elected officials aren't giving
- 2:26:50us a say and I'm like I was saying I don't know
- 2:26:53if I said it but I was thinking about saying
- 2:26:55it but at least in Idaho we do have this power
- 2:26:58because there's tons of other States in places
- 2:27:03that don't have the power to do this, to petition,
- 2:27:06to put something on the ballot. It's kind of
- 2:27:10a hard process. Like if you saw like that, there
- 2:27:13was that weed one that failed statewide, but
- 2:27:16they weren't doing, there's like, and it's how
- 2:27:19ridiculous bureaucracy is, is like you have to
- 2:27:21put in 20 point thought, like certain words in
- 2:27:25a certain part on a page. And if you don't do
- 2:27:28that, it's invalid. If you go up to the podium
- 2:27:32and don't tell them your full name, they drag
- 2:27:34you out of the meeting. Or if you put John Hancock
- 2:27:37as your name, they won't let you speak. They'll
- 2:27:39get you on procedural grounds if they can. Yeah.
- 2:27:42Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, for sure. And so, yeah, it's
- 2:27:45to protect themselves. But I spent a lot of time
- 2:27:48educating myself on how voters initiatives work
- 2:27:52to be able to execute it seamlessly. And it was
- 2:27:55actually funny where to where I was having to
- 2:27:58like, like there was like a month long where
- 2:28:00I was fighting the city to get a proper, like
- 2:28:03I had to make a qualified form to be able to
- 2:28:07submit to them to get it started. And then the
- 2:28:10city kept giving me forms that didn't even comply
- 2:28:13with Idaho law. And I kept having to tell. You
- 2:28:16know the the city clerk and it took like a month
- 2:28:19to get a proper approved form and I'm like I'm
- 2:28:22like dude and at some point it got so Ridiculous
- 2:28:25that I did it for them. I did it like I was like
- 2:28:28I already have the formatting. I'll just, when
- 2:28:31I get time, I'll do it and I did it and I sent
- 2:28:33it to them. And instead of sending me just all
- 2:28:36they had to do was take that same form and send
- 2:28:38it back. Instead, instead they changed it and
- 2:28:42they changed it to where it still didn't meet
- 2:28:44the requirements of Idaho code. And so I had
- 2:28:46to go back, I had to go back and be like, and
- 2:28:49be like, fix this. And then, and finally they
- 2:28:52did, but it was like a month, month and a half
- 2:28:53long process of going back and forth. Give me
- 2:28:56an approved form. that meets the legal requirements
- 2:28:59of what you're supposed to give. Like I had to
- 2:29:01threaten to go to court. I'm like, I'm like,
- 2:29:03it's ironic because it's basically you, you've
- 2:29:07experienced what we all, anybody who's like run
- 2:29:08a business or had to do anything with the government
- 2:29:10of any sort of nature like this, we've all experienced
- 2:29:13the version of it. It's malicious compliance,
- 2:29:16but it's, it's even more ironic coming from the
- 2:29:19state itself, maliciously complying and kind
- 2:29:23of in a, in a very much non -compliant way with
- 2:29:26their own code. their own bullshit and laws that
- 2:29:30they force us to use and then they wield it against
- 2:29:34us like times two and they do different ways
- 2:29:37and they do so in a sort of a bumbling and and
- 2:29:41they don't know what the hell they're doing they
- 2:29:43don't know they don't know whether to flip or
- 2:29:44fall in it it takes two and a half weeks but
- 2:29:47meanwhile when you owe them 15 cents for a parking
- 2:29:49ticket they are Johnny on the spot man you better
- 2:29:52believe that that notice is gonna show up in
- 2:29:54your mailbox right on time Oh dude, we always
- 2:29:57used to say the moment you think nobody cares
- 2:29:59about you just miss a tax payment They do care
- 2:30:07Let me think we're bumping up against it and
- 2:30:10I have other stuff, but I think you know in the
- 2:30:12interest of time I think we can call it and just
- 2:30:14make this a really a truly just a flock show
- 2:30:16is great I wanted to play this quickly because
- 2:30:18I think I'm sure you've not heard anything along
- 2:30:20these lines Tyler I got a note from Debbie from
- 2:30:23rathrum this week who said Who is governor pervert
- 2:30:26that you keep referring to? And so I want I wanted
- 2:30:30to address that because I think it actually kind
- 2:30:31of fits with the overall theme here, which is
- 2:30:33like this. All of this is sort of a perversion
- 2:30:36of a. a representative republic, a land where,
- 2:30:41decency, a land where liberty is supposedly one
- 2:30:44of the highest, if not the highest value, says
- 2:30:46it on our freaking coins, as referenced earlier.
- 2:30:49This is all a perversion. It's all an inversion
- 2:30:51of what should be in a free land. And that's
- 2:30:55Governor Brad Little. And the reason it's fine
- 2:30:57to go back and revisit it, because it's from
- 2:31:00way back in episode 11, Cuts Before People, and
- 2:31:03that was from the state of this state. that governor
- 2:31:06little gave when he was reelected in in january
- 2:31:09there and this is the sound drop that it comes
- 2:31:12from to pervert to pervert to pervert i pulled
- 2:31:15the full sentence and so tyler you'll you'll
- 2:31:18like this too and this is this is one of those
- 2:31:20instances where the truth wants to come out you'll
- 2:31:22hear it all the time from well from everybody
- 2:31:25but you know politicians and bureaucrats you'll
- 2:31:26hear it from mainstream media talking heads the
- 2:31:28truth wants to come out this is the actual sentence
- 2:31:31unedited as uttered by governor little into a
- 2:31:34microphone Idaho is evolving. However, through
- 2:31:37the change, we must commit ourselves to pervert
- 2:31:41to preserving our state as the place where opportunity
- 2:31:45thrives. He was trying to say to preserve Idaho,
- 2:31:50but it came out as pervert. To pervert. That's
- 2:31:54the reference. And this is all this stuff. At
- 2:31:57some point, even the reptiles know that this
- 2:31:59stuff is wrong. that this is an inversion and
- 2:32:02they they they head up a reptilian apparatus,
- 2:32:05even though to an individual like a mayor, Randy
- 2:32:07Westland, they've they are varied in their demeanor.
- 2:32:14Yeah, truly, to round back to where Tyler started
- 2:32:18today, he said the word, I think he said the
- 2:32:21word pre crime. Yeah. And immediately I thought
- 2:32:24of the story minority report. immediately and
- 2:32:27was just like you know 1984 gets a lot of attention
- 2:32:30and of course nobody really listens for Fahrenheit
- 2:32:32451 gets a lot of attention a brave new world
- 2:32:35gets a lot of attention and those are all works
- 2:32:37that should get a lot of attention but the one
- 2:32:40that tends to fly under the radar that actually
- 2:32:42might be the one we find ourselves in minority
- 2:32:45report Pre -crime pre -crime 24 7 mass surveillance,
- 2:32:50which real quick I'm gonna I gotta throw this
- 2:32:53in because I did do a little bit of the legwork
- 2:32:55I was gonna do a Scott shots today if we could
- 2:32:57fit it in I know we couldn't really but I'm gonna
- 2:33:00shoehorn it in anyways. It's a quick one. Okay,
- 2:33:02I looked up what percentage Wait a minute. I
- 2:33:05don't get my intro. Wait a minute. Wait, wait,
- 2:33:07wait, I don't get my intro. I got a stretch.
- 2:33:09All right Alright, hold on. Come on, dude. I'm
- 2:33:12gonna pull a hammy, man. You're right. No, you're
- 2:33:14right. I don't want you to hurt yourself. I'm
- 2:33:15gonna bust my Achilles, dude. I gotta get up
- 2:33:17and get on my exercise ball. Hey! Oh, man! Let's
- 2:33:20go! See some jumping jacks. Right in the feels.
- 2:33:22I gotta stretch, pull my arm across my chest.
- 2:33:25Pull my other arm across my chest. Woo! Let's
- 2:33:30go! What are you, Sandy Koufax? Let's go! Oh
- 2:33:32yeah, I'm pitching out of the windup. Big leg
- 2:33:35kick! Yeah! Alright! We're dropping all the sports
- 2:33:38ball references now. Send it. Okay. It's not
- 2:33:43that impressive because I couldn't get all the
- 2:33:44answers I wanted, but it's fine enough and it
- 2:33:46fits right in with what we're talking about.
- 2:33:48I Googled about 18 different ways. Like how much
- 2:33:51surveillance do we experience in America? What
- 2:33:53percentage of our day is surveilled in America?
- 2:33:57How many people, like what percentage of the
- 2:33:59population is under constant surveillance in
- 2:34:01America and so on and so forth. You guys get
- 2:34:03the idea. I Googled about eight, nine, 10 different
- 2:34:06prompts. And the answer came back, worded differently
- 2:34:10every time, but it was the same. And the answer
- 2:34:13was 24 -7, always. Always. There is no time in
- 2:34:19our lives right now in which we are not surveilled.
- 2:34:22So then I was like, okay, what does that look
- 2:34:26like? And who said, well, it's a combination
- 2:34:30of government surveillance in the form of warrantless
- 2:34:32searches via your phone, your computer, your
- 2:34:35iPad, your yada, yada, yada, data brokers that
- 2:34:37are oftentimes government. But they're also a
- 2:34:40private sector and third party. And they all
- 2:34:42work together and pass data back and forth and
- 2:34:44sell data back and forth. It's biometric and
- 2:34:46street tracking, which can be anything from what
- 2:34:48we're talking about, ALPRs. and facial recognition
- 2:34:52to everything in between. Our own cars now are
- 2:34:55starting to surveil us. That's been going on
- 2:34:57the last few years, and that is by law. Now,
- 2:35:00cars are being manufactured with things that
- 2:35:02surveil where you go, when you were there, and
- 2:35:05soon, also now codified into law. Thanks, big
- 2:35:07beautiful Bill. They will have potentially facial
- 2:35:11recognition type devices that will not allow
- 2:35:13you to turn your car on if your car thinks you've
- 2:35:16been drinking, you're on drugs, or too stressed
- 2:35:18out to drive. or you're on your way to you're
- 2:35:21you're organizing a rabble of rebels to head
- 2:35:23to a city council meeting where you're going
- 2:35:24to gasp attempt to make public comment yeah well
- 2:35:28you're pretty worked up when you go so your car
- 2:35:30is thinking well hey you're too worked up to
- 2:35:32drive you might hurt somebody so you got to stay
- 2:35:34home don't forget you also you left out a key
- 2:35:37one yeah don't forget about uh state representatives
- 2:35:40observing us in public restrooms from behind
- 2:35:42two -way mirrors I've seen people in every way
- 2:35:44shape or form all over the world going to the
- 2:35:46bathroom If your name is John Hancock, they're
- 2:35:49not gonna let you drive that was just Behavior
- 2:35:54profiling app and device tracking. Of course,
- 2:35:57we have our phones on us all the time You've
- 2:35:59got the ring stuff on your doors. You've got
- 2:36:01it doesn't mean basically it is 24 7. It's private
- 2:36:05Sector, it's public sector and it's an unholy
- 2:36:08alliance between the two. So That was pretty
- 2:36:11wild then I was like, okay. Well what percentage
- 2:36:13it said 100 % digital tracking public cameras
- 2:36:16workplace monitoring home smart devices Anyways,
- 2:36:20um, is there a question? There you go. Yeah.
- 2:36:23No that I asked I answered the question. Okay
- 2:36:28Paul got it right. We're surveilled around the
- 2:36:30clock. Good times. Well, that's what I told you.
- 2:36:32It was a crappy Scott shot. I was looking for
- 2:36:35a setup, but I couldn't get the setup because
- 2:36:37every prompt gave me the same answer. And it
- 2:36:40was the obvious self -evident answer. It was
- 2:36:42like, hey, government, are you tracking us 100
- 2:36:44% of the time? No. Yep. Oh, wait. Yep. In this
- 2:36:47case, yep. OK. Minority report. We live in it
- 2:36:54already. Take that, Tom Cruise. Eat your heart
- 2:36:56out. All right, let's call it a show. This is
- 2:37:01episode number 43 of No ID in the Can. Okay,
- 2:37:04we'll do a little, us glorious leaders up here
- 2:37:07on the dais will make the call for what to call
- 2:37:10the title, the show title. I have transparency.
- 2:37:12You should let Tyler pick. I'm going, okay, good.
- 2:37:14Well, all right, fine. We'll let the citizen
- 2:37:15have a comment. Geez. Transparency Portal, tyranny
- 2:37:19is a software patch away or real time crime?
- 2:37:24I like, I don't know. I use that tyranny. Saying
- 2:37:26a lot. So I like that one. Okay, it is as long
- 2:37:29as normal I second the motion. You know what?
- 2:37:32The citizen did it. That's one of my favorite
- 2:37:34I love to say that saying like it's one of my
- 2:37:37favorites because I was it's so true Honestly,
- 2:37:40when I started this, I was like, man, ALPR cameras
- 2:37:43are terrible. And I was almost under the impression
- 2:37:47like maybe we could legislate this, but at some
- 2:37:50point I realized you can't. You know what I mean?
- 2:37:52Then you learned about the legislative process
- 2:37:54and was like, oh, it's broken. It's all broken.
- 2:37:56Yeah, there's no way. We can't safely put guardrails
- 2:37:59on mass surveillance. Ever since then, I use
- 2:38:04that saying way too often. OK, so you know what?
- 2:38:08The show is longer than normal, so so too will
- 2:38:11the title be. It makes sense to me. We only have
- 2:38:13to have guardrails up until Viking season starts
- 2:38:16anyway, so don't even worry about it. Thank you
- 2:38:24guys so much for having me. Every city council
- 2:38:26member is like, oh my God, I hope our sports
- 2:38:27ball team wins this season. We'll have to come
- 2:38:28back. Yes, please. It was a pleasure having you.
- 2:38:31Thanks, Tyler, for coming on. Yes, we want that.
- 2:38:34Yes, for sure. Where can people find which deflock
- 2:38:37Idaho, it's just deflock Idaho across everything,
- 2:38:39right? All the platforms. Yeah, we mostly use
- 2:38:44Instagram and Facebook. I have a YouTube channel
- 2:38:47that I don't really use in a tick tock. But yeah,
- 2:38:49deflock Idaho anywhere even even the emails deflock
- 2:38:52Idaho Gmail if someone wants to doesn't use social
- 2:38:56media or something. So if they want to send an
- 2:38:58email with follow up questions or anything, they
- 2:39:00can, they can email us there. Brilliant. Yeah.
- 2:39:04Well, yeah, we greatly appreciate you joining
- 2:39:05us and I've been imagining. And for doing the
- 2:39:07Lord's work. Yes. And most people I'm sure within
- 2:39:10the sound of this show will is probably they're
- 2:39:13already following or they clicked the button
- 2:39:15while they were listening to this episode. So
- 2:39:17yeah, please support Tyler and those who think
- 2:39:20like him and us. And stop perverting Idaho and
- 2:39:23start preserving it. Please God. Remember us
- 2:39:28at noidshow .com. This is a value for value proposition.
- 2:39:32Please support us. It takes work to execute this
- 2:39:34program. And if you find it valuable, return
- 2:39:36value to our program. time town or treasure until
- 2:39:39episode 44 from heavily surveilled post falls
- 2:39:43where property taxes are going up. I'm Scott.
- 2:39:47And from less surveilled Clark Fork, I'm Paul.
- 2:39:50Taxation is theft. I guess that North Idaho show
- 2:39:56is is is doing okay.
