- 0:03Speaker 1: We welcome into Off the Bench presented by All Star Toyota.
- 0:09Speaker 2: We're bringing in the School.
- 0:11Speaker 1: US Sports talking so with Jacob Hester.
- 0:15Speaker 3: And Aren't You Scared?
- 0:18Speaker 1: Live from the Haunted Studio. Here's Jacob Hester.
- 0:23Speaker 4: All right, welcome back in now number two vo TV
- 0:43Speaker 4: Here live from the Raisin Kines Studio.
- 0:46Speaker 5: Jake Flynn, Alandre Tete all here with you.
- 0:51Speaker 2: So we were talking about, I think it was in
- 0:54Speaker 2: the second segment about L s U having the bye
- 0:57Speaker 2: week and could they change was there enough time? Could
- 1:00Speaker 2: they do some things that they haven't done so far
- 1:04Speaker 2: this season? And you start to wonder because it's you know,
- 1:08Speaker 2: a bye week is a little bit of a misconception
- 1:11Speaker 2: because some of it has to be rest, Like that's
- 1:15Speaker 2: a part of it, you know. So it's not like
- 1:18Speaker 2: maybe you can get like a day or two like
- 1:19Speaker 2: back where it's like, wait, we're going to go back
- 1:21Speaker 2: to like camp style practices, like yeah, maybe, but also coaches,
- 1:25Speaker 2: for the most part, right, you're going to have basically
- 1:27Speaker 2: helmets and shorts on, so you don't have as much
- 1:31Speaker 2: time as as it sounds like you do have because
- 1:34Speaker 2: you do have to factor in the rest part of it.
- 1:36Speaker 2: But we were trying to see like, okay, is that enough,
- 1:39Speaker 2: you know, time to be able to change and do
- 1:42Speaker 2: the things that you want to get done.
- 1:44Speaker 5: And then y'all started talking.
- 1:45Speaker 2: About Alabama a little bit when we were kind of
- 1:47Speaker 2: mentioning some of the things we were wrong about so
- 1:49Speaker 2: far in the college football season, and I start to
- 1:54Speaker 2: think about the situation that Alabama showed in the first
- 1:58Speaker 2: game against Florida State. All right, against Florida State, they
- 2:03Speaker 2: only ran for like eighty seven yards. They gave up
- 2:06Speaker 2: two hundred and thirty on the ground. All right, well
- 2:10Speaker 2: we saw them last week. You know, kind of change
- 2:14Speaker 2: it now. The yards for Georgia. We were up on
- 2:17Speaker 2: the ground and the pass defense was incredible for Alabama
- 2:21Speaker 2: and Georgia right now, Gunnerstockton just not having success through
- 2:24Speaker 2: the air, but just even the mentality of watching Alabama
- 2:29Speaker 2: Florida State and watching Alabama and Georgia, it certainly looked different.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I think Georgia was two of eight on third down,
- 2:36Speaker 2: where Florida State had much more success. Florid State was
- 2:39Speaker 2: around forty five percent on third down. Like, you can't
- 2:42Speaker 2: watch the Florida State Alabama game and say that was
- 2:45Speaker 2: related to the same team. That played Georgia, right, So,
- 2:49Speaker 2: and look, Nick Saban's not there anymore, right, because in
- 2:51Speaker 2: the past we'd be like Nick sabanix and that'd be
- 2:54Speaker 2: the answer, you know what I mean? Well, Kylen de
- 2:56Speaker 2: Bor is there now, and Kaylen de Bor had has
- 3:00Speaker 2: made no bones about it. After week one, he challenged
- 3:03Speaker 2: his team, absolutely challenged him.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Hey, and they had a lot of if you remember,
- 3:08Speaker 5: they had a lot of loafs.
- 3:10Speaker 2: And I'm not saying that's what's going on right now
- 3:12Speaker 2: with lsu Becau's actually not the case. But they had
- 3:14Speaker 2: a lot of loast, and they had a lot of
- 3:16Speaker 2: misassignments and some things.
- 3:17Speaker 5: So he called them out.
- 3:18Speaker 6: They had two defensive backs during a play shooting three pointers. Yeah,
- 3:23Speaker 6: with an invisible ball, yes, say to even basketball, right,
- 3:27Speaker 6: shooting invisible three pointers during a play.
- 3:29Speaker 2: You had a safety that gave up on a play
- 3:31Speaker 2: he had he had, he had an angle, he just
- 3:33Speaker 2: stopped running.
- 3:34Speaker 5: So my point in bringing that up is their mentality changed.
- 3:39Speaker 2: You can't watch those two games and say that that's
- 3:41Speaker 2: the same team that played in Week one and now
- 3:44Speaker 2: I do. I do think Florida State's better. I think
- 3:46Speaker 2: Florida State had a great game plan. I think Gus
- 3:48Speaker 2: Malsan had a great game plan.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Yeah, take no credit away from them.
- 3:53Speaker 6: Right, Like, when you got a team, an Alabama football
- 3:57Speaker 6: team that's playing undisciplined and loafing, you have when you
- 4:02Speaker 6: have national media being able to see count multiple multiple loves,
- 4:07Speaker 6: multiple loves everywhere zooming in. I'm like, I just said,
- 4:10Speaker 6: people shooting fake three pointers with pads on, with the
- 4:15Speaker 6: helmet on on the field.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Part of the eleven that are out of there.
- 4:18Speaker 6: You know, two of the eleven folks shooting basketballs.
- 4:22Speaker 5: So they got they got challenged, They got in the
- 4:25Speaker 5: media too.
- 4:26Speaker 6: I talent issue, right. Kelen de Borr has proven to
- 4:30Speaker 6: be a really good head coach. Could he be a
- 4:32Speaker 6: good head coach there? Could he discipline a football team? Well,
- 4:37Speaker 6: let me tell you something. If you watch that Alabama
- 4:39Speaker 6: Georgia game, they're ranked number ten right now, they look
- 4:42Speaker 6: like a top five team. I hate to say it,
- 4:45Speaker 6: I'm sorry the Tyle Simpson is playing his face off
- 4:49Speaker 6: right now. And you don't want to judge too harshly
- 4:52Speaker 6: on one game in either direction. You don't want to
- 4:55Speaker 6: judge people judge Alabama really harshly. After that first game,
- 4:58Speaker 6: easy to completely go the opposite way and be two.
- 5:02Speaker 6: You know, give them too many flowers after this game.
- 5:05Speaker 6: But the way they played that football game, how they
- 5:07Speaker 6: won it, the way their quarterback is playing, and just
- 5:10Speaker 6: like you said, the ability to be willing to flip
- 5:14Speaker 6: that switch as a student athlete is the key to
- 5:19Speaker 6: everything you can coach. You can want to, you can
- 5:23Speaker 6: want to, but kay, do you have the ability, the mindset,
- 5:27Speaker 6: the grit, whatever it is. The are you humble enough
- 5:31Speaker 6: to say, Okay, yeah I'm talented, but I'm not playing
- 5:34Speaker 6: good enough? You got that mindset? And they've they've shown
- 5:38Speaker 6: up to date. And again I don't want to like
- 5:39Speaker 6: crown them after like one really good performance, because everybody
- 5:42Speaker 6: can have a good performance, but they looked the part
- 5:46Speaker 6: last week.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And now they've got a game coming up this weekend
- 5:54Speaker 2: against Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt beat them a year ago in Nashville.
- 5:58Speaker 2: We all remember the scenes. They diego Pavia and had
- 6:02Speaker 2: an epic postgame conversation with Alyssa Lang and they rushed
- 6:08Speaker 2: the field and you know, great scene, great moment for Vanderbilt.
- 6:12Speaker 2: And now Vanderbilt, as we said earlier, they're back and
- 6:15Speaker 2: probably better. Mine's the probably they are they're better than
- 6:18Speaker 2: they were a year ago. Do you give and does
- 6:22Speaker 2: anybody in this room give Vanderbilt a chance to repeat
- 6:26Speaker 2: what they did a year ago?
- 6:28Speaker 5: Now this one is on the road. I'm sure, I am.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I am certain that Alabama's players have been told time
- 6:36Speaker 2: and time again, and seeing the videos of Diego Pavio
- 6:39Speaker 2: on the field afterwards and all of that, and that
- 6:41Speaker 2: can go. That can go a little bit, right, It's
- 6:43Speaker 2: not going to be like once the ball s game,
- 6:45Speaker 2: once the ball skate, you kind of forget about the.
- 6:47Speaker 6: Highlight tape that you showed the DAMA players the night
- 6:50Speaker 6: before the game, right, the team hotel.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Right, but this is number ten versus number sixteen, just
- 6:56Speaker 2: because the spread says it's eleven and a half, ten
- 6:59Speaker 2: and a half spending on where you look like Vanderbilt
- 7:02Speaker 2: deserves to be in the conversation of this game. Now,
- 7:05Speaker 2: Has Alabama for y'all made enough adjustments? Looked a part
- 7:09Speaker 2: because we got to remember, like Georgia had to get
- 7:13Speaker 2: a little luck on their side to be able to
- 7:14Speaker 2: beat Tennessee, right, and if a kicker makes a very
- 7:17Speaker 2: makeable field goal, they lose that game as well.
- 7:20Speaker 5: So the question kind of is.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Because they beat Georgia and because Georgia has been a
- 7:27Speaker 2: standard of college football last five years, Like, are we
- 7:31Speaker 2: allowing that to kind of cloud maybe our view.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Of this? Maybe?
- 7:37Speaker 6: I mean it kind of it kind of full circle
- 7:40Speaker 6: of what we talked about last week. Is there any
- 7:42Speaker 6: one dominant team right there's not. There's so much parody
- 7:45Speaker 6: in college football right now. And I know that's an
- 7:47Speaker 6: overused word, I get it, but like it's it's an
- 7:49Speaker 6: evenly match. There's not one team that sticks out head
- 7:53Speaker 6: over head and shoulders above everybody else. So you kind
- 7:55Speaker 6: of have to just say you have to watch these
- 7:57Speaker 6: teams and know, Okay, I know Georgia they might not
- 7:59Speaker 6: be a dominant, dominant force like they have been for
- 8:03Speaker 6: multiple years, but like they're still really damn good. Alabama
- 8:07Speaker 6: they've had their issues, but they're still really damn good too.
- 8:10Speaker 6: So it's kind of an optics test, like you got
- 8:12Speaker 6: to look at like optically, how did Alabama actually look?
- 8:15Speaker 6: Go watch the game? Did they execute their plays? Where
- 8:18Speaker 6: they discipline? Where they sound? Did they get pushed with
- 8:20Speaker 6: the offensive line? Was the quarterback going through his reads
- 8:23Speaker 6: or was it like flukey plays? Like sometimes the quarterback
- 8:25Speaker 6: can have a good game, but a lot of it's
- 8:27Speaker 6: like flukey plays. It was like scrambling, someone popped wide
- 8:30Speaker 6: open down the sideline, like look at me. DJ Lagway
- 8:32Speaker 6: hit a big long touchdown against Elisia. I think he
- 8:34Speaker 6: got called back, but like wide open guy, Like that
- 8:36Speaker 6: doesn't mean he had a great game as a quarterback,
- 8:39Speaker 6: like working in offense. You have to look at the
- 8:41Speaker 6: process on these like when you're judging the team, and
- 8:44Speaker 6: the process for Alabama looked pretty darn good against Georgia.
- 8:48Speaker 6: So that's why I say, like, yeah, I think you
- 8:51Speaker 6: can judge them right now. I mean it's five weeks
- 8:53Speaker 6: into the season, so there's still so much Again, these
- 8:56Speaker 6: these eighteen to twenty three year old kids, a lot
- 8:59Speaker 6: of them first time. I'm like starters, things like that,
- 9:01Speaker 6: they're gonna get better, Like every team, every team is
- 9:04Speaker 6: better in week ten than they were in week one.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Like that's just facts.
- 9:07Speaker 6: So you have to look at the process, how they're executed,
- 9:10Speaker 6: how these outcomes of all these games are presenting themselves.
- 9:16Speaker 6: And certainly for me, Alabama and Vanderbilt are both kind
- 9:20Speaker 6: of like looked apart. I think I think I just
- 9:22Speaker 6: looked at I think it's game day this week. Yeah
- 9:25Speaker 6: it is, Yeah, is gonna be there so respect Yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 6: absolutely give Like can you give Vanderbilt like a chance
- 9:35Speaker 6: to win?
- 9:36Speaker 3: Yeah? Oh yeah, absolutely yeah, I'd like to see that.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I look up the one as long as they've got
- 9:41Speaker 2: Diego Pavia back there. I know he might not be
- 9:45Speaker 2: a pro quarterback. I get all of that, but he's
- 9:48Speaker 2: fun as hell to watch in college and he is
- 9:51Speaker 2: one of those guys that when you tell him he can't,
- 9:56Speaker 2: he's going to do everything in his power to make
- 9:57Speaker 2: sure he can. Like that kind of stuff fuels a
- 10:01Speaker 2: guy like that, no doubt. And it doesn't look orthodox.
- 10:04Speaker 2: It doesn't look like you draw it up in a playbook.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Ten and a half ten and a half Alabama is
- 10:11Speaker 6: ten and a half point favorite.
- 10:13Speaker 7: Yeah, I said, I just said you said that.
- 10:15Speaker 8: Oh wow, he said that like five minutes ago.
- 10:19Speaker 7: Oh well, that definitely that's calling my name.
- 10:21Speaker 5: Wow. Yeah that it was eleven and a half, So that.
- 10:25Speaker 7: Is calling my name.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Are we dumb?
- 10:31Speaker 5: We do claim to have one brain, sell them.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I think it's a big brain. So we didn't clarify
- 10:37Speaker 3: the size.
- 10:38Speaker 5: That's true.
- 10:38Speaker 9: Like if if Alabama barely won last year, I would
- 10:42Speaker 9: have said, oh, you know, Vandy like coming in like
- 10:44Speaker 9: and I just said how wrong I was about Vandy.
- 10:47Speaker 9: I was hyping them up a little bit earlier Dandy
- 10:49Speaker 9: winning that game.
- 10:50Speaker 10: Though.
- 10:51Speaker 8: I hear what you're saying, shot, but I think I
- 10:55Speaker 8: think Alabama.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Right, And I do hear what you're saying about that,
- 10:58Speaker 2: But me and Jimbo were actually talking about this yesterday.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I hear what you're saying about that. So like in
- 11:03Speaker 2: the pregame, they're gonna talk about that game last year,
- 11:05Speaker 2: They're gonna show the game and they like they're gonna
- 11:07Speaker 2: be ready to fight, like they're gonna be ready anyway,
- 11:10Speaker 2: just like Vandibilt's gonna be ready and Matt, if you
- 11:13Speaker 2: have a different feeling, I promise, Like I'm not trying
- 11:15Speaker 2: to put words in your mouth, but for me, just
- 11:17Speaker 2: my personal experience, A lot of times, all that pre
- 11:21Speaker 2: like pregame stuff and the conversation and trash talk or
- 11:25Speaker 2: whatever the boss kicked and I forget about it all
- 11:27Speaker 2: because I got ninety seven things going on in my
- 11:30Speaker 2: brain about you know this backside corner, is he going
- 11:33Speaker 2: to come and trying to read this guy on this
- 11:35Speaker 2: run play.
- 11:36Speaker 5: I got to run down there on kickff. I gotta
- 11:38Speaker 5: make sure I stay in my lane.
- 11:39Speaker 2: So like the anger and the like, maybe you prepare
- 11:42Speaker 2: a little bit, maybe maybe you watch one extra tape.
- 11:45Speaker 2: But Alabama's not gonna get ready for this game just
- 11:49Speaker 2: because Vanderbilt beat him last year as far as like
- 11:52Speaker 2: once the ball's kicked off, at least for me, like
- 11:55Speaker 2: I forgot about all that stuff, and it's like, okay,
- 11:57Speaker 2: now we're in a fight.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Now I got to just react off what this game
- 12:00Speaker 5: is showing me.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 12:02Speaker 6: I think I disagree with it. Just like for the
- 12:05Speaker 6: reasons why we talk about directional school, you preparation, like
- 12:09Speaker 6: you have to like there's something in Nate inside of
- 12:13Speaker 6: you and you can't put your finger on it. It's
- 12:16Speaker 6: just something there for the pre pregame process, for the
- 12:19Speaker 6: pregame process. But then during the game as well, you
- 12:23Speaker 6: have to find like a lot of time there's a
- 12:24Speaker 6: man you factured energy when you're playing somebody.
- 12:27Speaker 5: That isn't it is a conference game though, I mean it.
- 12:31Speaker 6: Is a conference game, but it's all okay, look, I
- 12:33Speaker 6: know it's not the classic Vanderbilt team.
- 12:36Speaker 3: This is.
- 12:38Speaker 6: Daddy Vanderbilt here, but it's still the same but it's
- 12:42Speaker 6: still the same uniforms. Okay, So like you probably need
- 12:45Speaker 6: some reminders, like, hey, look, this isn't Vanderbilt five years ago.
- 12:50Speaker 3: These guys are for real.
- 12:52Speaker 6: I think you need some reminders on that because they've
- 12:55Speaker 6: never reminded us about that ever.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Now, yeah, good for you, because, like I said, like
- 13:01Speaker 2: everybody's gonna be a little bit different, like but for me,
- 13:04Speaker 2: unless maybe it was, like you.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Tell me you didn't play harder against Florida because you're
- 13:09Speaker 6: jacked up.
- 13:09Speaker 5: That's what I was just about to say.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Maybe because their habitual line crossers, maybe that, but there
- 13:13Speaker 2: was nothing. There was no difference between Alabama and Auburn.
- 13:17Speaker 2: There's no difference between Auburn and Georgia. There was no
- 13:19Speaker 2: difference between Tennessee and there.
- 13:21Speaker 6: Was Alabama and Vanderbilt. You think, I know, I know.
- 13:29Speaker 2: My point is like all of that, sure, but I'm
- 13:33Speaker 2: not going to base who I who I pick in
- 13:36Speaker 2: this game and who I like in this game based
- 13:38Speaker 2: off Alabama being mad.
- 13:40Speaker 6: Why do you think Missouri plays everybody close? Because like,
- 13:43Speaker 6: no one really cares about him because they're a good
- 13:45Speaker 6: football team.
- 13:46Speaker 3: No one like no one, no one gets excited about.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Because Matt Hardy might be the best running back in
- 13:49Speaker 5: the country.
- 13:51Speaker 8: I don't know how much might there is behind that.
- 13:54Speaker 5: And God was playing in Monroe, Louisiana.
- 13:56Speaker 3: No one ever heard of that game.
- 13:59Speaker 5: It was great at you it's really good.
- 14:01Speaker 8: Sixteen hundred yards or something like that.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Yeah, fake, Nope, it didn't have it.
- 14:06Speaker 8: Didn't have it made up.
- 14:07Speaker 2: In the All Metad team too, first team running back.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Don't believe it. Both they played with Las pretty good.
- 14:16Speaker 8: He's with Missouri.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Never heard of.
- 14:19Speaker 5: They didn't go on the road still for seventeen more days.
- 14:23Speaker 8: That is wild.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Still hadn't gone on the road yet.
- 14:26Speaker 8: How did they get that schedule? They had a good
- 14:28Speaker 8: one last year.
- 14:30Speaker 6: They're starting to like get to the level of Notre
- 14:32Speaker 6: Dame for me. Now they play Alabama, it's just at home.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Coming up.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Their first road game is going to be Jorden Hair
- 14:40Speaker 2: against Auburn, which is I don't care how good bad
- 14:43Speaker 2: they are. That place rocks day night, good bad, whatever
- 14:48Speaker 2: like that. That is a undervalue, underappreciated venue. At least
- 14:54Speaker 2: every time I've ever been there, it's been it's been
- 14:57Speaker 2: a great atmosphere. So they I mean, it's a tough
- 15:00Speaker 2: test regards of with Auburn's record.
- 15:02Speaker 6: Is Auburn credits myself. They were my sleeper pick this year,
- 15:06Speaker 6: my surprise team.
- 15:06Speaker 2: That's weird. Yeah, mine was Missouri. Who's doing better.
- 15:10Speaker 3: We'll find out. We've already found out where they're finally
- 15:16Speaker 3: going to game.
- 15:18Speaker 5: They finally get on a plane.
- 15:19Speaker 6: Of Auburn is not gonna be excited to play that game, obviously,
- 15:21Speaker 6: because nobody gets excited to play Misouri.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Living in what's what's Missouri's record like the last two years?
- 15:31Speaker 3: I just like, I just told you why their records
- 15:35Speaker 3: get They.
- 15:35Speaker 7: Finished nine and three.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Last season, Yeah, then ten and then they were ten
- 15:41Speaker 2: with the bowl game wins and ten and three, and
- 15:44Speaker 2: then they were ten and two the year before, or
- 15:46Speaker 2: eleven and two, eleven and two.
- 15:48Speaker 6: And guess what, Missouri missoo. There's no z's in the
- 15:53Speaker 6: word Missouri, especially not two z's.
- 15:59Speaker 2: This stuff that triggers you is so funny to me
- 16:01Speaker 2: because you're you're acting like you're joking.
- 16:04Speaker 5: But I've known you for two decades. That bothers you.
- 16:09Speaker 9: The missoo doesn't bother me, But I tell you what does?
- 16:15Speaker 9: And I like Eli drink Witz but saying go Tigers
- 16:19Speaker 9: at the end of the interview, is is acceptable saying
- 16:24Speaker 9: m I Z and leaving I hate that.
- 16:26Speaker 7: I don't like that, he says, m I Z.
- 16:29Speaker 5: And then you're supposed to finish z Z O U.
- 16:32Speaker 9: But he's the only one there, so he just says
- 16:34Speaker 9: m I Z and leaves.
- 16:35Speaker 8: I don't like that. M hmm.
- 16:37Speaker 6: Kind of like them. You said, m I Z. Reminded
- 16:40Speaker 6: me of the Mickey Mouse Club. Yeah, m I see,
- 16:47Speaker 6: he says m I Z. At the end of his interviews. Cool,
- 16:53Speaker 6: there's no Z. I don't get it. Hey, there's two
- 16:56Speaker 6: in mis zooky make up a new state.

- 19:58Speaker 2: around the same age, and so some of the it's
- 20:00Speaker 2: that we get a chance to enjoy.
- 20:02Speaker 12: Oh yeah, I enjoy him on the way in.
- 20:05Speaker 5: Ut all of it.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Okay, I don't know, Okay, this is I don't know
- 20:08Speaker 6: if I've heard this one.
- 20:10Speaker 2: It's it's a little bit of a deeper on JT's album.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Yeah, a little bit of a deep cut. I definitely
- 20:16Speaker 5: heard it. Yeah, I like to I have not heard.
- 20:21Speaker 3: I got a busy life. I got only got time
- 20:23Speaker 3: for the hits.
- 20:23Speaker 7: They can never make me JT.
- 20:26Speaker 5: You only got time for the hits.
- 20:27Speaker 2: That's a that's a bad way to live in this world, Bud.
- 20:30Speaker 6: I'm out of the music phase of my life, you know,
- 20:34Speaker 6: like that, trying to just search for deep cuts.
- 20:36Speaker 2: You used to be the guy that would try to
- 20:37Speaker 2: find the song before anybody else did, to try to
- 20:40Speaker 2: like play it like, oh, bit, I've been listening to that.
- 20:42Speaker 5: For like three months, bro. So it used to be him.
- 20:44Speaker 2: You'll know, I knew it before it was mainstream. Credit
- 20:48Speaker 2: to myself that that was all right. Doctor Steven Etheridge
- 20:51Speaker 2: is here with us as he is every single Wednesday.
- 20:54Speaker 5: And uh, I just saw the text that you sent. Yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 5: you're you're right.
- 20:57Speaker 2: You're probably gonna ask you about Tyreek Hill's injury and
- 21:01Speaker 2: the kneecap situation there. And it's one of those videos,
- 21:05Speaker 2: doc h you watch once and that's enough once.
- 21:08Speaker 5: It's like, Okay, I don't want to see.
- 21:10Speaker 2: That ever again. It just looked like, gosh, whatever was
- 21:15Speaker 2: in there. Whatever was in his knee that was structurally
- 21:18Speaker 2: sound is no longer the case. It's is that one
- 21:20Speaker 2: of those everything situations where it's like, Okay, this is gonna.
- 21:24Speaker 5: Be a lot.
- 21:25Speaker 12: Yeah, these are these are bad injuries.
- 21:26Speaker 5: You know.
- 21:27Speaker 13: Fortunately not when we see a whole lot of you know,
- 21:29Speaker 13: a knee dislocation. A lot of times people come in
- 21:31Speaker 13: and say, oh, I dislocated my knee before Most of
- 21:33Speaker 13: the time they're talking about the kneecap. Kneecap dislocates, it's
- 21:36Speaker 13: still significant injury, but yeah, talk about a whole other
- 21:38Speaker 13: animal when the entire knee, so the femur and tibia
- 21:41Speaker 13: literally are no longer lined up appropriately, and you know
- 21:44Speaker 13: that's gonna take way more than one ligament. You know,
- 21:46Speaker 13: you have a lot of different ligaments that that support
- 21:48Speaker 13: the knee. You have the muscle structures around at the meniscus,
- 21:51Speaker 13: lots of things going on. To dislocate, you're usually gonna
- 21:54Speaker 13: have to have multiple ligaments maybe meniscus injury, and then
- 21:57Speaker 13: with that you worry about the other structures around the knee.
- 21:59Speaker 13: That's why these are so dangerous. You have you know,
- 22:01Speaker 13: you have your popular do arredy, which is an already
- 22:03Speaker 13: right behind the knee, and then you have the nerve
- 22:05Speaker 13: structures around the knee. And it's bad enough if you
- 22:07Speaker 13: injure multiple ligaments, those are those are bad injuries. But
- 22:11Speaker 13: you know, this can be literally an injury that you
- 22:13Speaker 13: can lose a limb if you if you sever that
- 22:15Speaker 13: populiti artery, uh, you know, and that can be dire
- 22:18Speaker 13: emergency or perm nerve damage things like that moving forward.
- 22:21Speaker 6: So it's one of those when you see it, like
- 22:25Speaker 6: I had two players. When I saw it, I was like,
- 22:27Speaker 6: oh my god. Like I had two players that came
- 22:29Speaker 6: to mind. One was like early two thousands, Willis McGahee
- 22:31Speaker 6: the injury to his knee like that. And then latimoreatmore
- 22:36Speaker 6: from Carolina U not too long ago. It looked like
- 22:39Speaker 6: the same with a leg just I mean unfortunately just snaps.
- 22:41Speaker 5: I mean yeah, And you see.
- 22:43Speaker 2: With Latimore, he never he never came back, never really
- 22:45Speaker 2: got h never ever the same player.
- 22:47Speaker 13: Yeah, I think he came back. I drafted by San
- 22:49Speaker 13: fran but ended up doing his injury settlements.
- 22:50Speaker 12: You never really played.
- 22:51Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 22:52Speaker 6: So I'm watching that game and I'm watching them get injured.
- 22:55Speaker 6: I'm watching all the players there. I see I see
- 22:57Speaker 6: the the one time you see the like the play over,
- 23:00Speaker 6: you don't want to see it again, And then you
- 23:02Speaker 6: watch them and I want to know what happens internally.
- 23:07Speaker 6: I know there's adrenaline. I know there's all sorts of
- 23:11Speaker 6: hormones pumping in the body after an injury. There's protections
- 23:14Speaker 6: that your body gives to you naturally. How does a
- 23:18Speaker 6: guy when that happens. How is a guy two minutes
- 23:23Speaker 6: later smiling, clapping? How is he able to handle that
- 23:28Speaker 6: type of pain? Because I know it has to be
- 23:31Speaker 6: Does that pain not set in for twenty thirty minutes?
- 23:34Speaker 3: Like what happens in those situations?
- 23:35Speaker 13: Yeah, I mean I think you get the nail on
- 23:37Speaker 13: the head a lot of times. Obviously we see a
- 23:39Speaker 13: lot of adrenaline. These guys in the moment he the moment,
- 23:42Speaker 13: maybe don't feel it. They're already kind jacked out, they're
- 23:44Speaker 13: playing a game. Their adrenalin levels are high. Sometimes it
- 23:47Speaker 13: just takes a while, you know, definitely one of those things.
- 23:49Speaker 13: You know, definitely gonna feel it later. But man, yeah,
- 23:52Speaker 13: in that scenario.
- 23:53Speaker 6: What do you do like for pain management? So I
- 23:55Speaker 6: know it's got to be excruciating, Like once the adrenaline
- 23:57Speaker 6: sets like wears off pain management wise, is it? It's
- 24:01Speaker 6: probably about making them comfortable until they get to the hospital.
- 24:04Speaker 12: Right, Yeah, and that satting, you're gonna make them comfortable.
- 24:06Speaker 13: You know, we're already activating in ems, so you're having
- 24:08Speaker 13: egency responders there. Once they're on the ambulance, they're going
- 24:11Speaker 13: to give them something almost inevitably something you know, maybe
- 24:13Speaker 13: a pain medication, maybe something for anxiety, some kind of anxialytic,
- 24:16Speaker 13: depending on where they are in that spectrum. You know,
- 24:19Speaker 13: you know, this is somebody who's going to be going
- 24:20Speaker 13: to surgery probably in the very near future, so you're
- 24:22Speaker 13: probably already starting that process and that type of an injury.
- 24:26Speaker 2: All right, So a couple of injuries I want to
- 24:28Speaker 2: ask you about with the with the Saints and really
- 24:30Speaker 2: so you've got a couple of tight ends, Foster and
- 24:32Speaker 2: Tasom coming back from ACLS and so they open that
- 24:35Speaker 2: twenty one day window for them to go back to
- 24:37Speaker 2: practice with ACLS, and there's been a ton of advancement.
- 24:41Speaker 2: You and I have talked about that so many times before,
- 24:43Speaker 2: but you got twenty one days. You put them out there, Like,
- 24:47Speaker 2: what are you maybe looking for in that three week
- 24:50Speaker 2: window to make sure that are the neatest stable, they're
- 24:52Speaker 2: going to be good.
- 24:53Speaker 5: They feel confident also in it as well.
- 24:56Speaker 12: Yeah, a lot of it is their confidence.
- 24:57Speaker 13: And you know, if they're at this stage of the game,
- 24:59Speaker 13: we've really already done a lot of that, you know,
- 25:01Speaker 13: we we've put them out there on a field, maybe
- 25:03Speaker 13: not with the team. So I think a lot of
- 25:05Speaker 13: times when you hit this window, you kind of know
- 25:07Speaker 13: what what you're gonna get every now and then you're
- 25:09Speaker 13: surprised they get out there and maybe they think they're ready.
- 25:11Speaker 12: You get a little heavier load on them. Yeah, something happens.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Maybe the niche I said, is it swelling? Is that
- 25:16Speaker 5: kind of how you swell? Swelling is a big part
- 25:18Speaker 5: of it.
- 25:18Speaker 12: If they have any swelling, obviously that raises a little concern.
- 25:20Speaker 10: Now.
- 25:21Speaker 13: Now, sometimes guys for extended periods, what will swell little
- 25:24Speaker 13: bit here and there and they'll still play.
- 25:25Speaker 12: We just you know, we'll drain the new year, do
- 25:27Speaker 12: we have to?
- 25:27Speaker 5: And probably the.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Old Turkey based are out, Oh yeah, had that many
- 25:31Speaker 2: of times.
- 25:32Speaker 13: It can be rough, but but but but yeah, it's
- 25:34Speaker 13: it's kind of a combination and I think we probably
- 25:37Speaker 13: know these guys. Barring an unforeseen setback, if you're putting
- 25:40Speaker 13: them in that, hey, the next twenty one days, we
- 25:42Speaker 13: kind of already done everything with them, just just maybe
- 25:44Speaker 13: getting them worked in and making sure they're up to
- 25:46Speaker 13: speed with the team.
- 25:47Speaker 2: How much the acl that we're talking about the confidence
- 25:49Speaker 2: is that the injury maybe more than any injury where
- 25:52Speaker 2: it's like it's got to be a mental confidence thing.
- 25:54Speaker 2: You have to know that it structurally sound and you
- 25:56Speaker 2: can go out there.
- 25:57Speaker 13: I think so in part because it is one that
- 26:00Speaker 13: is so common, at least in sports, we see enough
- 26:03Speaker 13: of it. You know, there's probably other injuries that that
- 26:05Speaker 13: you have a similar mindset, but for me, that's the
- 26:07Speaker 13: one we see it the most. Is because it's common
- 26:09Speaker 13: injury that's also a serious injury.
- 26:10Speaker 6: Yeah, So we talk about like knees, knees swelling with
- 26:15Speaker 6: sports fans. Do you hear that all the time? Oh,
- 26:17Speaker 6: his knee is swollen. You gotta get a knee drain.
- 26:19Speaker 6: And I think it's like, to me, it's something that
- 26:22Speaker 6: it's easy to talk about, but you never really like
- 26:24Speaker 6: take a deep dive on like what it actually means. So,
- 26:27Speaker 6: like when it knee swells and I've seen I've seen
- 26:29Speaker 6: like syringes that big, that thing like I can't set
- 26:32Speaker 6: a turkey based or taking like that much fluid. So
- 26:35Speaker 6: when it knee swells, what is the body reacting to
- 26:39Speaker 6: and what is like what is what is that fluid
- 26:42Speaker 6: that's swelling?
- 26:43Speaker 5: What is it?
- 26:43Speaker 6: What's the body's reaction? Why is it creating that? And
- 26:46Speaker 6: how is it creating it?
- 26:47Speaker 12: So it's usually an inflammatory response.
- 26:48Speaker 13: You know, you have the synovium which is the lining
- 26:50Speaker 13: of the joints, and you get basically what we call
- 26:53Speaker 13: synovial fluid. So when there's inflammation, there's there's increase in
- 26:56Speaker 13: some of the osmotic property, so you're just pulling more
- 26:58Speaker 13: fluid in so it's more dense area because of the inflammation.
- 27:01Speaker 13: Most of the times it's telling us there's something going on,
- 27:04Speaker 13: you know, need just typically just doesn't swell. So so
- 27:06Speaker 13: it's usually gonna be somebody who's had an injury, whether
- 27:08Speaker 13: it's a maybe a chronic wear and tear, maybe they've
- 27:11Speaker 13: got a little cartilage defect, Maybe it's not necessarimiz torn
- 27:13Speaker 13: a cl but definitely in those scenarios you've had them.
- 27:16Speaker 13: Inniscous injury and a ligam an injury, you've got some
- 27:18Speaker 13: irritation to the cartilage, that cartlage gets inflamed, and it's
- 27:21Speaker 13: just sort of the body's response. It's into overreactive, so
- 27:24Speaker 13: it's just trying to protect something that's that's that's the
- 27:27Speaker 13: idea that we have. You know, inflammation is not always bad.
- 27:29Speaker 13: You know, we talk about inflammation is such a bad thing,
- 27:31Speaker 13: but that's how your body heals, right, an inflammatory reaction
- 27:33Speaker 13: that triggers this, but sometimes it just gets carried.
- 27:36Speaker 6: Away and not to get like gross or anything, but
- 27:38Speaker 6: like that it's like yellow, right, like the oh yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 6: like what typically typically it's gonna be yellow.
- 27:44Speaker 13: So it's really it's almost very similar your your blood plasma.
- 27:46Speaker 13: It's kind of a very similar structure. There's a little
- 27:48Speaker 13: bit of protein in, there's other things, and that's why
- 27:50Speaker 13: it gets that yellowish color to it. You know, if
- 27:52Speaker 13: we see blood, sometimes it's a bloody and especially more
- 27:54Speaker 13: of an acute injury. So like right after somebody tears
- 27:56Speaker 13: the a c L or has it, you know, some
- 27:58Speaker 13: of a bone contusion, maybe you're gonna see some blood
- 28:00Speaker 13: and the joint so more of a hemarthrosis. You know
- 28:02Speaker 13: that that's something we don't usually like to see not
- 28:05Speaker 13: always bad, but but typically it is.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, all right.
- 28:08Speaker 2: So with a bye week situation, obviously, at any point
- 28:13Speaker 2: in the season, but certainly after you've played a handful
- 28:14Speaker 2: of games, there's gonna be some conversations, all right, hey,
- 28:17Speaker 2: this week as probably this needs to be the plan,
- 28:20Speaker 2: Like how far maybe ahead of time do you have
- 28:22Speaker 2: kind of those conversations with your team and with everybody,
- 28:24Speaker 2: kind of getting a plan together for is some extended
- 28:28Speaker 2: time off because you just don't ever have that.
- 28:30Speaker 13: Yeah, from the medical side, you know, the honest answers.
- 28:32Speaker 13: We started the discussion for our bye week before the
- 28:34Speaker 13: season started. You know, we had guys that were coming
- 28:36Speaker 13: into camp and we're like, hey, this is a guy
- 28:38Speaker 13: that in bye week, we may have to watch his
- 28:40Speaker 13: reps sometimes. You know, we've talked on here about different
- 28:42Speaker 13: treatments with things like stem cells and things like that.
- 28:45Speaker 12: We've talked about different you.
- 28:46Speaker 13: Know, if a guy maybe is gonna need a surgery,
- 28:48Speaker 13: but it's something that we can put off.
- 28:50Speaker 12: There's a lot of things you might do in a
- 28:51Speaker 12: bye week.
- 28:52Speaker 13: Obviously you're hoping not to go to that far extreme,
- 28:54Speaker 13: but we look at the bye week as a chance
- 28:56Speaker 13: you know, first and foremost just to rest. You know,
- 28:58Speaker 13: we we you know, unfortunately, are kind of banging do
- 29:00Speaker 13: at this point in the year. Like most teams. We
- 29:02Speaker 13: had a couple of guys get banged up this past week.
- 29:04Speaker 13: So so the bye we came at a good time
- 29:05Speaker 13: for us, a chance just to kind of get some
- 29:07Speaker 13: guys healthy. And it's a combination of discussion with the
- 29:10Speaker 13: athletic training staff, with all the doctors. You know, we'll
- 29:12Speaker 13: sit down, we do a clinic every Sunday after the games,
- 29:14Speaker 13: and right and really we started having these discussions. I
- 29:17Speaker 13: staid a few weeks ago, like, hey, this is a
- 29:19Speaker 13: guy the bye, we might do this and that list unfortunate,
- 29:21Speaker 13: it's longer and longer each make. This is a guy,
- 29:23Speaker 13: add this guy, add this guy, and a lot of
- 29:25Speaker 13: it is going to be a combination of okay, let's
- 29:27Speaker 13: rest him.
- 29:27Speaker 12: Maybe this is a guy this week that we're not
- 29:29Speaker 12: going to have practice.
- 29:30Speaker 13: If it's somebody that we really need to get some rest,
- 29:31Speaker 13: we might do some of those other treatments if it's
- 29:33Speaker 13: something we think they would benefit from, you know, obviously,
- 29:36Speaker 13: trying to kind of maintain win is the right time
- 29:37Speaker 13: and all that.
- 29:38Speaker 12: So there's a lot that goes into it.
- 29:43Speaker 6: There was some discussion after this past Sunday Lak Neighbors
- 29:48Speaker 6: tears up his knee torn acl Have you ever in
- 29:53Speaker 6: your profession seen a correlation between knee injuries and artificial turf?
- 29:57Speaker 3: Is that a is that?
- 29:58Speaker 6: Do you think that's a real conversation?
- 30:01Speaker 2: All artificial turf has created the same either, right, Yeah.
- 30:04Speaker 12: It's it's it's both both. Yes, there is a correlation.
- 30:08Speaker 13: You know, there have been a lot of studies that
- 30:09Speaker 13: have shown that there are definitely a higher instant of
- 30:11Speaker 13: injuries on the turf. And then at Jake's point there
- 30:13Speaker 13: there's you know, turf's not the same and part of
- 30:16Speaker 13: his maintenance. You know, you're gonna have some some people
- 30:18Speaker 13: that do a better job of maintaining their turf. There
- 30:20Speaker 13: are requirements you know that are now out there for
- 30:22Speaker 13: most big leagues, you know, in the NFL and such.
- 30:24Speaker 13: But even then, you know there's gonna be some variability.
- 30:26Speaker 13: How hard are the turf? How you know if it's
- 30:28Speaker 13: a harder turf's crazy. There's some that are soft and pouting.
- 30:30Speaker 13: There's some that are rock hearts, like, why is this
- 30:32Speaker 13: not the same? It's a national Football League.
- 30:35Speaker 12: I remember, well, I remember our last game we played.
- 30:37Speaker 13: We played the last game on the turf up up
- 30:39Speaker 13: at Oxford at All Miss One before they put it
- 30:41Speaker 13: out and put grass and and man, it was rough.
- 30:44Speaker 13: And I'm not calling them out on it. It was
- 30:45Speaker 13: it was the that turf last day. Yeah that I
- 30:47Speaker 13: mean it felt like cement.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:49Speaker 12: And and but now the turf day is way better
- 30:51Speaker 12: than it was.
- 30:52Speaker 1: You know.
- 30:52Speaker 13: I can remember when I was at Florida State, we
- 30:54Speaker 13: played in the Supernome.
- 30:56Speaker 12: It was the astro turf.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 13: I mean I never had a new year back problem
- 30:59Speaker 13: prior to that. For one week of pricing there, I
- 31:01Speaker 13: don't remember my back or k he's ever hurting as much.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:03Speaker 12: And I was, you know, nineteen years old, super healthy.
- 31:06Speaker 6: So did they ever put like that, like that white
- 31:08Speaker 6: thin tape they'd put right there for the ass I'm
- 31:10Speaker 6: supposed to like protect your arm from.
- 31:12Speaker 5: All the burn. Yeah.
- 31:13Speaker 13: So so there there's but you know, if you hit
- 31:14Speaker 13: your head in a harder surface, it's worse. If it's
- 31:16Speaker 13: not gonna be forgiving for a knee or you know,
- 31:18Speaker 13: the Achilles injuries and all these things. We think there's
- 31:20Speaker 13: definitely a higher instance there's pretty good deb data behind it.
- 31:23Speaker 13: The new turf is better, the softer turf is better.
- 31:25Speaker 6: But so it's a real conversation though it's really the
- 31:28Speaker 6: NFL should and leagues should at least entertain and talk
- 31:31Speaker 6: about absolutely.
- 31:32Speaker 12: Yeah, maybe you've had those conferences look at.
- 31:34Speaker 2: And I understand in some college places, I do having
- 31:37Speaker 2: turf because of the weather because you don't have the
- 31:39Speaker 2: budget to be able to keep the field in the
- 31:42Speaker 2: condition that it needs to if it.
- 31:44Speaker 5: Was real grass.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I get all of that, but again, like I'll go
- 31:47Speaker 2: back to it, the National Football League should be able
- 31:50Speaker 2: to have every single field look like the best field
- 31:54Speaker 2: you've ever seen before, and you could pay, well, there's
- 31:55Speaker 2: two teams to play there, Okay, build a new stadium
- 31:58Speaker 2: then for one of the other teams, or just have
- 32:01Speaker 2: the best maintenance crew that you possibly can have out there.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Because again, like when you're making billions upon billions upon
- 32:07Speaker 2: billions of dollars, you're by far the most successful, you know,
- 32:11Speaker 2: sports entity that's out there, Like you're not going to
- 32:13Speaker 2: have that excuse, Like you got to find a way
- 32:15Speaker 2: to have it. And I don't know, like you're like
- 32:18Speaker 2: which one that you played on that was really really bad,
- 32:20Speaker 2: like even like some of the natural grasses. We talked
- 32:22Speaker 2: about Arizona and you remember the festival that turst awful.
- 32:25Speaker 5: It's grass. It's it's terrible.
- 32:26Speaker 2: It's mush and they don't it doesn't rain in the desert,
- 32:29Speaker 2: and why why is this so mushy? So like that's
- 32:33Speaker 2: that's a real issue that could be fixed by putting
- 32:36Speaker 2: resources and dollars into the playing surface for the players.
- 32:40Speaker 13: Yeah, I know, and I I agree with one hundred
- 32:43Speaker 13: percent with this. I'd love to see everybody be able
- 32:45Speaker 13: to do grass. And but I always understand there are places, well, look,
- 32:47Speaker 13: we live in a swamp. Ye if everybody here played
- 32:49Speaker 13: on grass, there be there'd be weeks you couldn't play.
- 32:51Speaker 13: I remember when my son was young, there were there
- 32:53Speaker 13: were how many baseball pras got to miss when were
- 32:55Speaker 13: passing out in central because the fuel we practiced was
- 32:57Speaker 13: it wasn't a pit. I mean, so, so I get it,
- 33:00Speaker 13: but I think that they're they got to do better.
- 33:02Speaker 5: YEA, to your point, I give it.
- 33:04Speaker 2: At those levels like high school and even some colleges,
- 33:07Speaker 2: I get that because you don't have the resources to
- 33:10Speaker 2: keep up with it. But like that's always been My
- 33:11Speaker 2: argument is if if this is going to be the
- 33:13Speaker 2: best of the best, which it's it's supposed to be,
- 33:15Speaker 2: and you look at the NBA and MLB and MLS
- 33:19Speaker 2: and all all these leagues, they could combine their money
- 33:21Speaker 2: and it doesn't touch what the NFL makes.
- 33:24Speaker 5: Just have a good playing surface for your players.
- 33:25Speaker 13: Iigre one hundred scent and even to your point, not
- 33:28Speaker 13: just real surface, but but again maintain maintaining that because again,
- 33:31Speaker 13: like I said, Arizona and there's you know, I can
- 33:33Speaker 13: think back to some others you know that just it
- 33:35Speaker 13: needs to be a good surface and it shouldn't be
- 33:37Speaker 13: that hard.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Doc.
- 33:38Speaker 6: I'm I'm a former quarterback. I don't think I don't
- 33:40Speaker 6: feel like I've been thrown it with a zip I
- 33:42Speaker 6: usually do. I think I got some sort of torso situation.
- 33:45Speaker 6: How you treating me?
- 33:47Speaker 13: The torso injuries are tough, obviously, you know, it's it's
- 33:50Speaker 13: such a you know, the thing you got to remember
- 33:51Speaker 13: is it is anything really in here.
- 33:53Speaker 12: It's it's engaged with everything we do.
- 33:54Speaker 13: So if we're talking about a you know, chess adam
- 33:56Speaker 13: in any of those things that you callfee snees, you
- 33:59Speaker 13: breathe a twist you turn and then yeah, if somebody's
- 34:01Speaker 13: gotta throw a ball, Uh, that is something that can
- 34:03Speaker 13: ever be difficult.
- 34:04Speaker 12: You know, we do our best medicines.
- 34:06Speaker 13: You know, you do therapy, you do some of the
- 34:08Speaker 13: biologic conjections we've talked about. You try all that stuff
- 34:11Speaker 13: to try and help somebody in that situation. But at
- 34:12Speaker 13: the end of the day, it's it's got his limitations.
- 34:14Speaker 12: It's got limitations.
- 34:16Speaker 3: All right, Bye week.
- 34:17Speaker 5: All right.

- 36:12Speaker 2: right tyree, here you go.
- 36:17Speaker 7: I knew him as an actor before I knew him
- 36:19Speaker 7: as a singer.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Really Okay, So this was before like Fast and Furious
- 36:22Speaker 2: and all.
- 36:23Speaker 6: This is all I would not I would not have
- 36:25Speaker 6: got the singer of the song if he didn't ask
- 36:28Speaker 6: it that way.
- 36:29Speaker 2: When you get like, but you got it, it's a
- 36:33Speaker 2: big deal, all right.
- 36:35Speaker 6: So what other movies is tyreeon like old? Is he
- 36:39Speaker 6: in a Transformer movie? Is he one of the trends?
- 36:40Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 36:41Speaker 3: Yeah, he's in the first trend, the first one I know.
- 36:46Speaker 8: To the movie called Waste Deep. He was actually the
- 36:49Speaker 8: star of.
- 36:51Speaker 5: Actually movie.
- 36:52Speaker 7: Actually, baby boy.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Oh baby, Oh my god, baby boys. How's it going.
- 36:58Speaker 5: That's a good movie. It was a good movie. I
- 37:00Speaker 5: was thinking he was in three different Transformer movies.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Uh, or Brothers your four brothers brother good one.
- 37:10Speaker 7: You can't be a Transformer and Fast and Furious movies,
- 37:14Speaker 7: multiple of them. You can't do it.

- 37:21Speaker 2: Fast and Furious movie.
- 37:22Speaker 8: He does Jason a big, fast guy.
- 37:24Speaker 2: And I know, listen, I know what they are and

- 37:53Speaker 8: I just I just watched The working Man, like.
- 37:57Speaker 3: The humble Man trying to take care of bees. To
- 38:00Speaker 3: make honey. You don't have to kill his neighbor turn
- 38:03Speaker 3: the house down.
- 38:06Speaker 2: It's like, I know what I'm getting into, and I
- 38:08Speaker 2: love it. I'm gonna keep coming back from more Jason
- 38:11Speaker 2: Jason movies.

- 38:19Speaker 8: Just keep driving or flying or whatever you're doing in
- 38:23Speaker 8: the next.
- 38:23Speaker 3: One, jumping off jumping off planes with tanks. I don't
- 38:25Speaker 3: know space.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Did Tyres and Ludacris take a car into space? Last one?
- 38:30Speaker 7: Maybe that's just ridiculous.
- 38:32Speaker 5: Might have happened the tires in a spaceship car? Yeah
- 38:38Speaker 5: it was.
- 38:38Speaker 3: It was a normal car.
- 38:39Speaker 8: It just doubled as a spaceship.
- 38:41Speaker 3: No, obviously, can we get I need to see this.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Did they did, ludic Ris? That was a wild comedy
- 38:50Speaker 3: you just made.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Did Tyres and Ludicris drive a car in space?
- 38:55Speaker 5: Obviously did in a movie that I paid to go see.
- 38:58Speaker 8: Yeah, they did.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I do love how smooth Matt was with that last question. Yeah, hey,
- 39:04Speaker 2: help the poorer quarterback. Yeah, throwing with as much zip
- 39:07Speaker 2: as I'm one.
- 39:08Speaker 7: Uh hey, what does that mean?
- 39:10Speaker 5: What does that mean?
- 39:11Speaker 2: Yeah, theoretically erectly, Hey, you're not gonna shut me down?
- 39:19Speaker 5: All right.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Look, I appreciate the fact that you did it. You
- 39:22Speaker 2: found a way because like, technically can't. But you did
- 39:25Speaker 2: well done.
- 39:26Speaker 10: Uh.
- 39:27Speaker 8: Picture of the inside of the home.
- 39:31Speaker 5: They got the yes?
- 39:35Speaker 3: What are they using the yes?
- 39:37Speaker 5: You get into space?
- 39:38Speaker 10: Oh?
- 39:39Speaker 7: My god?
- 39:39Speaker 5: See the duct tape?
- 39:40Speaker 6: They use that one bottle of nause to get the
- 39:42Speaker 6: space or they're trying to go faster in space.
- 39:44Speaker 8: Powers the thrusters probably powers this one.
- 39:50Speaker 3: That is beautiful. What were they doing up there?
- 39:54Speaker 7: Gosh, it gets worse.
- 39:59Speaker 2: She said, your back to the future car.
- 40:02Speaker 6: Can you imagine Tyres and Luda reading the script for
- 40:07Speaker 6: the first time. We're gonna we're gonna do.
- 40:10Speaker 8: What They were like.
- 40:11Speaker 9: Wait, they were like, hey, wait a minute, then there's
- 40:13Speaker 9: a there's something wrong with the script.
- 40:15Speaker 8: We're clearly not doing it this Yeah, clearly.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Said Actually, here's here's what we're paying you to do
- 40:20Speaker 2: the tenth installment.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Oh, we'll do it.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Are they going to space to drill hold an asteroid?
- 40:26Speaker 5: Oh?
- 40:27Speaker 2: That I mean, think about that, think about it. I
- 40:29Speaker 2: mean we all love that movie.
- 40:31Speaker 5: Look at that.
- 40:32Speaker 6: Oh it's a spaceship. We told you it is a joke,
- 40:40Speaker 6: all right. For those of you listen on radio. This
- 40:42Speaker 6: is a car that is in space and it's got
- 40:45Speaker 6: like the boosters that it's it just ejected, ejected the
- 40:49Speaker 6: boosters and it's like not even in like that lower
- 40:52Speaker 6: space that like Bezos was going to for a million,
- 40:56Speaker 6: this is out Earth behind him.
- 40:59Speaker 7: Yeah, and that is like an old car too.
- 41:02Speaker 5: Yeah. They were a bit different back then.
- 41:06Speaker 3: That's right. That's what.
- 41:09Speaker 10: Us.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Don't make them like they used to.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Daniel Basham asked a great question. Can you drift in space?
- 41:16Speaker 7: Did they?
- 41:17Speaker 3: I don't know space?
- 41:21Speaker 2: I mean they have a thing, Tokyo. This is one
- 41:24Speaker 2: of them movies.
- 41:25Speaker 3: Now I'm still confused at what the nause is for.
- 41:29Speaker 7: To get up there.
- 41:30Speaker 3: They got these boosters.
- 41:31Speaker 5: Yeah, but we've got to get back somehow, right.
- 41:33Speaker 6: They have to be Are they racing somebody?
- 41:39Speaker 3: We're gonna literally we're going to race around the world.
- 41:41Speaker 5: I don't remember why they're in space.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Racing around the world. They don't know.
- 41:46Speaker 8: Makes you feel better?
- 41:46Speaker 2: They don't know either, Alan, You just let me watch
- 41:49Speaker 2: my fast furious trash.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Okay, he's Tarantino said Stacker, you ever.
- 41:57Speaker 9: Want to space, Bud, I mean they did everything else
- 42:01Speaker 9: so they could possibly do on Earth.
- 42:02Speaker 3: They're like, true, true, take this bad boy to space.
- 42:07Speaker 2: At the end of the day, guys, it's all about
- 42:09Speaker 2: family though, all about family.
- 42:11Speaker 5: That's where we started this.
- 42:12Speaker 2: All right, we will step away, wrap up our number
- 42:15Speaker 2: two when we come back here on OTV.

- 44:24Speaker 6: High quality pools. That football just light up lights. Where's
- 44:30Speaker 6: this football? From a former sponsor?
- 44:33Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, had that?
- 44:36Speaker 5: No free shoutouts? Nope, get yep, thrust Bulls football, the
- 44:41Speaker 5: pool football that it is. You could either way.
- 44:48Speaker 3: It's hard to throw a spiral with it because the lights.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Yeah, Daniel bash them.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Hear me out. Top Gun Slash Fast and Furious. Hmmm,
- 45:04Speaker 2: I don't think I want to taint Top Gun. I
- 45:07Speaker 2: like Fast and Furious for what it is. But although
- 45:10Speaker 2: I have heard so Days of Thunder, which is one
- 45:13Speaker 2: of my favorite movies, I just love it back in
- 45:16Speaker 2: the day in the nineties, Tom Cruise NASCAR great like
- 45:20Speaker 2: they might have a They're gonna have a second one,
- 45:22Speaker 2: and it might be intertwined with rap HiT's f one
- 45:25Speaker 2: character in the movie because the same producer, same person
- 45:30Speaker 2: put it together.
- 45:31Speaker 5: Yeah, if you hadn't seen f once, really good.
- 45:33Speaker 3: That kind of feels like that would fit. I have
- 45:35Speaker 3: not seen that f on.
