- 6:54[SPEAKER_10]: Um, America's favorite new and time talk show, no doubt about it.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_10]: Governor Kathy Hokel is in the North Country right now as we speak in Ogden'sburg, meeting with people talking about tariffs, it's their topic of the day tariffs.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and now Trump is ruining us and so anyway, let's listen to what's uh, I don't know there's some economic development guys talking to her right now, but Well, we'll see we'll see the governor's handing out money to so she's got money for us all of us and channel seven due to free reports.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_10]: Well, let's see, um,
- 7:34[SPEAKER_10]: see if we can get her talk.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know when she's going to talk.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_10]: This guy's talking to one.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_10]: So anyway, that's going to be a state issue.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_10]: I need to get my driver's license renewed.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody just reminded me.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think they send out notices anymore.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_10]: So I've got to go.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_10]: I guess I got to go to kidneys to get an eye test.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_10]: How does that work?
- 7:53[SPEAKER_10]: Did it give you a slip or something?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_10]: Or a number that says you're approved or not approved or what do they do?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_10]: I have absolutely no idea.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_10]: I don't notice the pharmacy have to be
- 8:04[SPEAKER_10]: So I don't know what I got to do.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_10]: This is one of the problems of modern life.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_10]: At least I get that done.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_10]: It's eight years and I don't have to do it again.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_10]: That's the governor talking.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_05]: America is anything softening because I know it was pretty diet.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not going to talk to both premieres at different points and had business round tables and just said,
- 8:32[SPEAKER_05]: You know, that's not us, you know, in New York.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_05]: And they kind of say, but it's your present.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm trying to say, but I'm the governor.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_05]: You know, so I'm just, yeah, a lot of that.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_05]: And I just, it's sad to me because, you know, it's not who we are as a state or our people, you know, in a non-partisan way, just like we're friends.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_05]: And to feel our friends have taken it, you know, so deeply personally, as you mentioned, you know, 51st day.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_05]: that that's a painful, you know, slogan to hear.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_05]: And I've heard that countless times.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_10]: It cuts.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_10]: And all the local officials are due to fully sucking up to the government.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_10]: I actually should.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_10]: As I did many times to governors when they came here.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_10]: Food them with respect they deserve.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_10]: I would ask the governor.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_10]: When she's talking about the effect of tariffs on small business, what about the effect of.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_10]: 11% sales tax on small business when residential is only charged three percent.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_10]: Now we all know the reason for it is the mom-dami politics of the rich people and the corporations can afford to pay.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_10]: It's mom-damiism.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_10]: I'm down many amics or if you want to say that.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_10]: That's what unfortunately she's forced into, um...
- 9:51[SPEAKER_10]: talking about here.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_10]: But anyway, this thing is on TV if you want to watch it.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_10]: It's kind of interesting.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_10]: I laundered some money this morning.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_10]: Apparently, I left $20 in my pocket and what the sweatpants in the washer came out fine.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_10]: Clean money.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_10]: Clean money.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody knows where I got it now.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_10]: I've laundered it successfully.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_10]: The drug part has to be open.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm, so I got to wait a one-thirty.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_10]: I was going to go over the staples today, but I got it done here.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_10]: I had to make a bunch more copies of her policies for the bar and stuff.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_10]: None of that matters in New York, but you should do it anyway.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_10]: It here and still odd isn't necessarily insulate you from anything in a state.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_10]: uh... there's a story in the water ten daily times this morning hasn't hit broadcast news yet about that weed store up in the mall it was called glass four twenty alavius was that and the owners of the mall didn't know that it was a rent check they'll care i wouldn't either but i know that a couple of guys are owned a building like that i think one's name is jake and they got a lot of heat from the state for renting storefront
- 11:19[SPEAKER_10]: one of these things fortunately the people who were operating the store came up with a huge sum of money in cash and bought the building so it's no longer an issue but yeah the I don't know I mean this was a result of us according to newspaper account of 16 year old who went to the ER with effects from smoking weed bought at this place no arrest made no arrest.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_10]: and local officials, they know all about it.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_10]: They know where all these, and the police know too, they just don't, you see the problem is we being legal, they're largely perceived as legal, forget the federal registry and all that stuff.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_10]: People, you know, police say, well, I don't care, we're, you know, where they're buying it, it's legal.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_10]: So they don't care about that, and they certainly don't care about untack cigarettes being sold.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_10]: You can pretty much do that with impunity.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_10]: And this particular case was somebody who complained to the office of cannabis management.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, I have a typical state entity there.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_10]: So anyway, it finally made the news at least.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_10]: But I'm sure they're already open if not at that location somewhere else.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_10]: See, it's a movable feast.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_10]: People are, because weed is legal to use, people are using it like crazy, and some bi-legally, through the state-flank from cannabis, through the dispensaries, and some just buy from the street, and some want to buy in a different type of storefront.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_10]: You kind of have options for consumers.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_10]: You're going to make a product legal.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_10]: You've got to have options.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_10]: You know, cigarette expenses.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_10]: Why would you, I mean, you can pay five bucks a pack, and then like, um,
- 13:14[SPEAKER_10]: You know what, three curtains from our borrower lights cost $480 to buy it through the normal means.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_10]: That's, it's sales tax.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_10]: You got to back that out, but still, I mean, you know, you resell, I mean, don't make anything.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_10]: So it's kind of an interesting thing that we live in.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_10]: But as a consumer, I don't smoke cigarettes and ever have and ever would.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_10]: But I, if you say, if you want to $17 a pack cigarette or do you want this $5, I take the $5?
- 13:45[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_10]: Take the $5.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_10]: So what happened over on Butterfield Avenue?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_10]: Are good friend, Jake Johnson.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_10]: Well he said to the city last night, I'm going to withdraw my plans for that big apartment complex, which it really wasn't going to work.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_10]: they'd never get the zone so-and-change.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_10]: It's just impossible.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_10]: I told him that through it said you never get a zone change on this.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_10]: So he said the neighboring owners can either buy the land for 300,000, which is what he paid for, he says, bought it from Mr. Purcell, Mark Purcell.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_10]: Or he said he will put in a scaled back project with single family and
- 14:40[SPEAKER_10]: So they're going to complain about that to you.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_10]: Whatever happens, you need to, there needs to be a dressing of roads in that neighborhood and drainage, and hopefully that'll happen.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_10]: But I don't know, at least it's a, he came back with another proposal.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think they'll like it.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_10]: I'm telling you, if you were going to build one Cape Cod House,
- 15:05[SPEAKER_10]: out in that middle of that field.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_10]: There are some people who would say, I don't know about that.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not in my backyard.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_10]: So, you know, building 20 houses or whatever, I don't know, you could fit them in there.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, I've been up there.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_10]: I looked at it last week.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_10]: So, I don't know.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_10]: We'll see what Jake does.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_10]: See what Jake does.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_10]: And the, you know, another topic I'd like to raise with the governor from up there.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_10]: I know the lottery makes a lot of money, and I know they don't care about running it like a business and everybody gets paid no matter what, but the equipment they have, and the failure rate, and it always freezing up, it's going on in a lot of locations.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_10]: Customers are mad, retailers who are having trouble, less sales are being made, and the
- 16:03[SPEAKER_10]: governor won't sign the purchase ordered by new machines.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_10]: Now they got too many agents first of all right now but they're losing probably millions and sales just from the fact that people are having trouble with these machines.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_10]: But if government is running it, who cares, right?
- 16:23[SPEAKER_10]: Don't want to like a business.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_10]: Good luck.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_10]: So governor if you want to
- 16:30[SPEAKER_10]: and fix that sales tax on utility bills and then I'll listen to your press conference on tariffs okay uh... and that we love you and you we know you're gonna get re-elected we have already said on the show of shows here that the whole world will be re-elected governor there's no doubt in my mind i was the guy who never leaves long island got a beater right yeah no way
- 16:57[SPEAKER_10]: another little topic I was thinking of this morning and if you want to you know I know the city was disappointed they promoted that he clips last year it was the last year whatever year it was couple years ago and it was every reason that they could be a good event and it was okay but it was not what people thought so
- 17:21[SPEAKER_10]: This summer, you got the semi-quincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_10]: Did anybody know that was happening?
- 17:30[SPEAKER_10]: Did any of you know?
- 17:32[SPEAKER_10]: Remember the Bison Tennial in 1976?
- 17:35[SPEAKER_10]: That was a pretty big deal, everybody was planning for it.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_10]: But the semi-quincentennial this year, 250 years, is that a big deal?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think most people know about it.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, there'll be a lot of fireworks blowing off.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_10]: But I don't think the city has anything planned.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_10]: So, too bad, be nice.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_10]: The nice thing you could promote, a lot of businesses could promote things.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_10]: Certainly the car dealer should.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_10]: Right, white and blue special, start spankled this, you know?
- 18:11[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_10]: Right here in Jefferson County wasn't Jeff it didn't Jeff it wasn't there at Jefferson or it's up to do with the Declaration of Independence and all that yeah, the only people from that era there might be a few Democrats out there who went to see Hamilton but they think he's black so when do you know seven five five twelve forty the phone number we're monitoring the governor's thing up in Ogden'sburg he's meeting with a
- 18:49[SPEAKER_10]: But didn't they dress it up or at least one woman?
- 18:52[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, listen up.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_10]: Five members of the Iranian soccer team, young ladies, bolted.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody said, keep positive, Jeff, everyone said Trump wouldn't win any dead.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not sure that's true.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'm not sure that's true.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_10]: I just think local wins easily and and frankly, I don't know if I want Bruce Blakeman to win with this and who's this guy a little tenet governor running some sheriff Madison County.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_10]: Who the hell is he?
- 19:36[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah I mean at least locals running mate is somewhat credible state senator or somewhere other and active in things and a previous running mate Delgado was certainly credible
- 19:53[SPEAKER_10]: although he sits alone in an office now with no telephone.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_10]: Um...
- 19:58[SPEAKER_10]: But...
- 19:59[SPEAKER_10]: I just don't know what to say about the whole thing.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_10]: How does he win?
- 20:05[SPEAKER_10]: Down by twenty-four in the latest Sienna poll.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_10]: I think it's a fifty-seven forty-three race when it's all over.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_10]: He'll it'll tighten a little bit.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_10]: And counties like Jefferson will vote for... for Blakeman.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_10]: But not by enough of a margin.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, one assembly district in the Bronx will wipe out whatever margin there is in Jefferson County for Blakeman, so it's, yeah, there's no way he wins, and I know the crew nights sit there and say, oh yeah, even they don't admit it, they admit it privately, we're talking to a prominent conservative, he's not going to win, they're resigned to the fact, and they also don't think that to
- 20:51[SPEAKER_10]: they think to lose that why twenty one two so but privately i mean publicly they won't say it but did you notice that when uh... the local republicans and Jefferson County a week or so ago endorsed uh... uh... bob small and the assemblyman for uh... congress there was no there was no media on no press there's no news conference where all these republicans are standing behind them with flags and all that there was none of that
- 21:22[SPEAKER_10]: It was just a very perfunctory, we have to do this because we can't support Constantine or publicly, and so they are going to win, they haven't got a winning attitude, they will lose.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_10]: Thank God they got all the county legislases on a post so they can't lose.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_10]: That's a saving grace of local republicanism, the races are on a post.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_10]: seven five five twelve forty the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the uh... hotline and will put you on to talk about whatever you want is the governor talking let's see uh... no somebody else's she's listening she's not a listening tour she's an octonsburg today the maple city now she's a look around it's a little rough um...
- 22:15[SPEAKER_10]: But what are you going to do?
- 22:21[SPEAKER_10]: But the problem isn't tariffs per se.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_10]: The plan problem is the business climate in New York.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody said, text me, you know, all I can say is that hockled blank, and I wish
- 22:44[SPEAKER_10]: Then we could go out and get an enthusiastically vote for a Republican.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_10]: But I mean, I want to put the Clarion call out to Republicans, listen to this show.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_10]: I want one who is enthused from A, no super-splakement is, and B, who isn't thused about him to call in and tell me why.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_10]: Tell me why.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_10]: I'll listen.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_10]: You can say it to my assembled masses out there.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

- 25:18[SPEAKER_04]: Democrats and Hollywood elites are pouring money into New York's 21st Congressional District.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: Why?
- 25:23[SPEAKER_04]: Because they want control.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_04]: But Anthony Constantino, a true Trump Republican, is focused on something different.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_04]: The real needs of the North Country.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_04]: For water town in Fort Drum, that means protecting federal defense spending and the job supporting thousands of military families.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_04]: In Platsburg, it means stronger border staffing to reduce customs delays and protect trade.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_04]: In the Adirondex, it's smarter environmental policy.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_04]: Protecting our land while supporting logging, tourism, and local jobs.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_04]: From Lewis and St. Lawrence counties to O'Night Accounty, Anthony will stand with dairy farmers, protect Medicare reimbursement, and fight for local health care providers.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_04]: And in Glenn's Falls, Constantino will work hard for downtown revitalization funding.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_04]: While Democrats push their national agenda, Anthony Constantino is focused on the real issues that matter here.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_04]: He's funding his own campaign, no special interests, and he'll fight for you in Congress.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_04]: The Democrats want Trump out.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, I think it hasn't seen all in I approve this message.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_18]: Paid for by Constantino for Congress.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_24]: Northern New York do not overpay for your next mattress.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_24]: Matrix Express is upstate New York's largest specialty betting retailer and no one in New York state has all the brands under one roof that we have.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_24]: Tempered, pedic, turns and fosters, silly, purple, puffy, the smartbed by instinct comfort.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_24]: Posh and lavish, therapeutic, Simmons Beauty Resplex, sorta I come for avocado and more.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_24]: take advantage of our guarantee lowest price program, bring in any locally advertised price or quote on a mattress we carry, we will be the price furthermore.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_24]: If within 90 days of purchase you see it advertised for less bring it to our attention we will refund the difference.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_24]: Why would you shop anywhere else in Watertown on Arsenal Street across from Dunkin Donuts?
- 27:06[SPEAKER_24]: Evans Mills and the Walmart Plaza next to Navy Federal Credit Union call 1,800 new beds 1,800 new beds or go to mattressexpress NY.com
- 27:29[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, I'm 1240WATN here we are in the show of shows and you definitely don't want to miss this fine radio show.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_10]: Where'd every money through Friday from new to one on this community broadcast or station?
- 27:46[SPEAKER_10]: Now, we've talked to other things from the lottery to the governor's visit up there and we talked to the, she talking now.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_10]: We don't have to American culture very much.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_10]: No, there is a woman on the panel.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_21]: who it is.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know what she's talking about.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_10]: Anyway, if she wants to come for the Pearl Street pub, I'll give her a my list of complaints.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_10]: Okay?
- 28:14[SPEAKER_10]: Alright, I'm not saying I wouldn't vote for.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_10]: The problem is it's the, what you get with it, you get the mom down a year and with it.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_10]: That's the problem.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_10]: the inherent attitude that anybody with a little bit of money or any corporation of business has to be treated shabby that's what comes along with it.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_10]: Not sure Bruce Blakely can do anything I'm waiting for that rock ribbed cloth coat North Country Republican to give us a call and tell us who Bruce Blakely is and why he's best for the job as governor other than the fact that he's online be and see
- 28:53[SPEAKER_10]: I'm waiting.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm waiting.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think it's going to happen.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_10]: No.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_10]: Not even down.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_10]: Coon can call me and tell him why he's a good candidate.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody can.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody can.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_10]: How about a rock ribbed cloth coat?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_10]: We probably can tell you why Bob's small one would be a good congressman for a portion of Jefferson County.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_10]: No, no takers.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_10]: I don't want to say, I mean, I'm offering the chance, I'm offering the chance, I'm sure we've got Democrats out there who could call in and tell them, tell us why we should go for hulco.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_10]: Well, maybe not.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody's really active in this area.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_10]: That's the important.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_10]: That's the thing to remember.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, the government is talking.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_05]: Today, so I just want to put that out there and see whether or not there's been, whether to the business council or the social, I know there's a social issue of all the
- 29:50[SPEAKER_05]: there's to probably be conversations there about how to get this money back maybe the chambers can be a vehicle for that.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah I think you know as you know I guess you know I'll come on.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_10]: You're not going to get and nobody's going to get it and any of their money back first of all.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_10]: Once the money goes to Albany it never leaves or if it does it goes where they wanted to go.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_10]: So I guess I got a weight of 130 before I
- 30:19[SPEAKER_10]: I think you know I don't know.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_10]: I think my eyes are good.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_10]: I can read the clock.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know how difficult it is.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_10]: You have to read the third line from the bottom or something like that.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_10]: I just don't know.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_10]: Well, let's see.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody text in no sense putting a good candidate in the race.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_10]: They have no chance of winning.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, maybe that's true.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_10]: You've got to try, you can't, I mean, you're in New York, you've got to try.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_10]: I think it's to find a way to have a better chance than Bruce Blakeman.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_10]: But you know why, first of all, Fox News liked him because Brian Killmead likes him because they live in that sort of county together.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_10]: And Trump liked him.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_10]: That's some relationship that went back years because they're all from the metropolitan area.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_10]: So that's why, that's why the stiff, stiff, stiff onick wasn't right, and even if he was in there and ran a good race and lost, I don't think there's any disgrace and running a good race.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_10]: If you don't make it, you don't make it.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know where she goes politically from here.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_10]: The Senate C, that's a tough one.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_10]: The only problem is AOC just recently disqualified herself from any office other than the ones she now holds.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_10]: By what she did in Munich, why she went to Munich in the first place?
- 31:55[SPEAKER_10]: Or at least if you're in Munich, just enjoy the scenery, my God, and enjoy the food and just say, I'm here to learn and talk to people and meet people.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_10]: Don't go into a panel discussion and have somebody ask you about Taiwan and you don't know where it is.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_10]: Even I know where Taiwan is.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_10]: I think.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_10]: Is that where you tie one on?
- 32:22[SPEAKER_10]: 755, 1240 is the phone number, 315 in front of its civil play, and you can talk to me.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_10]: The host of the hotline.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_10]: People are texting in.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody said maybe at least runs for Schumer's seat.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_10]: Schumer's up in 28.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_10]: That's true.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_10]: I'm just not, that's a tough one too.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_10]: That's a tough one too.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if Schumer runs.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_10]: If he doesn't, AOC might run, but they've got that congressman that was supposed to be on our show, but didn't call in.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_10]: He's going to be the one.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_10]: He's white, and he's Jewish, and he fits the Schumer bill.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_10]: So I think he will probably be the Democratic nominee against.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, they'll nominate some share of from Chateauqua County or something like that and lose.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_10]: It'll be the same old story.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_10]: Now, what else have we got going on?
- 33:32[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, Ron Robbins is at the panel discussion.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_10]: Now, he's somebody who's done well for his association with politics.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_10]: The kid's farm out in your sack, it's not in a lot of government money, had that issue came up out there, but it was quickly tamped down, so he's up in the panelists, but he must be a favorite of them, who else is in this?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_10]: Michael Tuley, who's the mayor of Ogonsburg, don't know him.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_10]: It's a Cory Fram is up there, I don't know who that is, I'm looking at the name tags on the desk.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I don't know what's going on, but it is up in the Maple City, so she's she's up there.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_10]: Yep, she wanted to go to Ogden'sburg before the population drops down to 10,000.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_10]: 755, 1240, the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_10]: And what's happening overseas, anything big?
- 34:33[SPEAKER_10]: I heard there's a war going on.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, a couple of them.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I don't know, HXS says it's gonna bomb them today like they never been bomb before.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_10]: They say that every day.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, as I said yesterday, then Trump says we'll be all pretty soon.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_10]: Well, for our soon, we will just declare, here's what it'll be said, the
- 35:06[SPEAKER_10]: The missiles and drones and the ability to produce them is sufficiently degraded and not a threat.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_10]: The country is so bankrupt, they're not going to be able to aid their foxies.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_10]: And that'll be it.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_10]: And this new eye at all, it gets to stay in there.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_10]: And the rest of the regime stays and they'll kill a few more people and that'll be it.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_10]: And the street of Hormuz or Horbaz, as we call it, will be open soon, I'm sure.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_10]: 755-755-1240 is the phone number.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_10]: Are we having phone problems?
- 35:49[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not, you know, we'd like some participation today.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_10]: Obviously, a lot of things going on in the world.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_10]: We've talked about quite a few of them here.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_10]: But we can talk about more on the local level, is there anything going at City Hall?
- 36:03[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think so.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think so.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody said today that Jake is playing chess and City Council's playing checkers.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_10]: That's probably true.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_10]: Council likes to play checkers.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_10]: This new proposal for Butterfield Avenue.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_10]: He doesn't need zoning approval.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_10]: There'd be a lot of fight over site plan approval.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_10]: But given that the council doesn't decide on that kind of stuff anymore, I don't know why they gave up that authority, but they did.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_10]: This planning commission, they can approve whatever's there.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_10]: So we'll see, I don't really know, I don't know what to say other than
- 36:53[SPEAKER_10]: The neighborhood's not gonna come up for $300,000, no.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_10]: But after you're doing your on the air, okay.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_10]: And I don't think so.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_10]: Why would they?
- 37:07[SPEAKER_10]: We're gonna get 10 people to chip in $30,000 each, and buy the property for who?
- 37:15[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that's just it.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_10]: I don't see that happening.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_10]: But after you're doing your on the air,
- 37:23[SPEAKER_11]: I'll have a couple of topics I'd like to bring out.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_10]: Go ahead.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_11]: You're a attitude, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh
- 37:51[SPEAKER_10]: I am taking it seriously.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_10]: I think that's what's going to happen.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_11]: He said to lactate lactase go at a, I knew anyway.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_11]: So much for that, a big copy topic.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_11]: I think it's important to aerate every listener.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_11]: If their owner or if they know somebody or family that's going to register to vote, is this so-called save America act.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_11]: It's trying to push to Congress.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_11]: And Trump says he's not going to sign any other legislation until they pass this
- 38:21[SPEAKER_11]: And it's hung up in the Senate.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_11]: This is a big deal, a really big deal.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_11]: Have you had any research that about what the points are and the same thing?
- 38:31[SPEAKER_10]: No, I don't think we need federal election logic.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_10]: I don't support it.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_11]: I don't need, I don't.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_10]: Not because you don't.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_11]: You should not, because this is the state responsibility.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_10]: Right, that's why I don't support it.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_11]: To run elections, not to federal government.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_11]: He wants to take off federal government for one reason.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_11]: He wants to control the elections, so that it Republicans can stay
- 38:51[SPEAKER_11]: So this is a big deal.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_11]: I don't hear too much about this on the radio.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_11]: So we're talking about that and what the dangers are kind of good.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_11]: Well, you don't hear much because of the federal government controlling local elections.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, well, you don't hear much because most people, most people, Danny, most people in Watertown don't know there's a war in Iran right now.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_11]: Well, that's the reason I call sometimes trying to farm people to make them aware of what's going on.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_11]: And maybe they might say, oh, I didn't know that.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_11]: I probably have to show my my marriage license to see if my name is changing my birth certificate or have you and every something will only have a birth certificate or can't find it.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_11]: And they're certainly not gonna run around with passport or pocket because they call so much money.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_10]: But part of the first place, part of being an adult, Danny, is having your papers in order in a box somewhere.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_10]: You, if you don't have, you don't have, you don't have.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_10]: Well, no, I have my my birth certificate in order to get a passport.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_10]: I had to have a what they call an original copy of it not the one my mother gave me.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_10]: So I had to call whatever county it is in California and they sent me some of them.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_10]: It looked exactly the same only it was on their letterhead, but still some to and and I did that because.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_10]: I needed that in order to get a passport or to get a hand strivers license, which I took the extra effort to get.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, nobody wants to take the effort to do anything.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_10]: If I want to, if you want to buy a beer, you're going to have to show a ID.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_10]: If you want to buy cigarettes and lussets from the Yemenis, you've got to show ID.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_10]: If you want to do a lot of things, you've got to get on an airplane.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_10]: Incidentally, it's hard to get on an airplane with no funding for
- 40:46[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think it will.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think most people do understand it.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_16]: No.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_11]: When it comes to vote, when you first register to vote, there's a statement on their vote.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody's ever asked me for ID to vote.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_11]: I swear, I don't know the penalty of law that I am a U.S. citizen and you signed it.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_11]: That should be good enough for everybody.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_11]: It's good enough for me.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_11]: And again, now for people I'm sure you know the signed up to vote.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_10]: These people are just being signed up while they're in a line waiting at the border to get an airplane.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_10]: This is not you grew up, you got excited, you went down to the border of elections, and no, it's a different era.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_11]: Well, of course it is, but what I'm saying is that the different era has been made by people that are paranoid about winning the next election and that's the wrong approach to use because elections, all elections right now, according to the Constitution and law,
- 41:44[SPEAKER_11]: is up to the state.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, listen, we've had a pretty good record of it.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_11]: They've brought in cheating and rigged and all that.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_11]: No, it's not.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_11]: There's been so many cases and statistics and audits and recounts involved in recounts and audits and recounts.
- 42:00[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_10]: Well, okay.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_10]: All right, Danny.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_10]: I got a run.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_10]: I got all sorts of stuff going on here.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_10]: But I appreciate your viewpoint.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_10]: And I agree with you.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_10]: All right, you know, Danny is a nice guy, but he never accepts somebody text it and I don't know if this is real or not and don't just make stuff up because it's not fair because I don't listen to the scanner, but somebody text it in cops responding to a report of a man defecating minutes ago in a Strauss walkway is that true?
- 42:29[SPEAKER_10]: and if it is what's Shannon have to say about it?
- 42:34[SPEAKER_20]: inquiring minds want to know okay listen we're gonna take time out for a message be right back are you interesting talk around the clock depend on the news and talk authority w-a-t-n-a-m-1240 mark Patrick hypnosis is coming to water town Monday March 23rd for one day only here's how hypnosis works to help people lose weight or stop smoking we all have an image of ourselves and that image
- 42:59[SPEAKER_15]: If we have an image of a non-smoker, we attract non-smoker behaviors and beliefs.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_15]: So we have an image of a smoker.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_15]: We attract the habits of a smoker.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_15]: If we have an image of a person who is overweight, we live up to those expectations.

- 46:29[SPEAKER_10]: Well here, somebody sent me a picture of a police car in front of the Strauss walkway.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_10]: And he this text says it was somewhat a report of illegal dumping.

- 46:40[SPEAKER_10]: That would could be trash bags or something.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_10]: Which, of course, these got their rights, right?
- 46:46[SPEAKER_10]: So I don't know what's going on down there, but if you do know, let us know.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody sent another message in here.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_10]: People like to communicate that way.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_10]: He did you do?
- 47:01[SPEAKER_10]: Jeff, each residential building lot in the city of Watertown requires a certain amount of street fry hits.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_10]: There isn't room to build much more than eight or 10.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_10]: Houses on the Butterfield track.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that's fine.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_10]: To me, if eight or 10, and I look at it, houses are eight, let's say eight, we'll go on a low side.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_10]: We're built there, I think that's good for water town.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_10]: So I was repaving the streets over there.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_10]: Because they need it, but connecting in the Maraudrave.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_10]: Eight houses, fine, that's fine.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_10]: That's a far cry from 136 apartment units with all sorts of weirdos living in a weirdos, I tell you.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_09]: All right.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_09]: else we got going on.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_10]: Yes.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I told Ross Finley that Governor Hockel is in the acting.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_10]: It's an acting spur.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'm just, I don't know why he didn't go over and see her.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_10]: He's quite fond of her.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, 755, 1240, the phone.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_10]: No, there's a call.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_10]: How you doing?
- 48:05[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, what's up?
- 48:07[SPEAKER_14]: than in the show.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_14]: I read the article about the butter.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_14]: I've been paying attention to what's going on over there.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_14]: I'm more alive in the butterfield area and I just, I think it's pretty good that Jake came back and, you know, he was willing to take a stop back to his plans over there to appease the people.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_14]: As far as I'm concerned, that's the lab.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_14]: Look at it.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I don't know as it's appeasing the people, I don't think their complaints were ill-founded, I think that what he's coming back with now is a more appropriate proposal for the area.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_10]: I think from looking at it, I'm not an expert, I'm not a planner.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_10]: So I don't know what kind of trees should be planted there.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_14]: But I think the neighbors at the valid concerns, I mean, especially with
- 48:57[SPEAKER_14]: it being as far as we are down the road from all the other places being though in the study.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_14]: They have an idea what they're getting themselves into.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_14]: I mean look at quick what's there.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_14]: They just found 100,000 packets of satin all over there.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_14]: You know, I mean or whatever it was we talked about it on your show.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_14]: I mean it's not just the people that come along, you know, and rent places like that.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_14]: It's the family that they bring along with them and the people that come,
- 49:27[SPEAKER_14]: in the traffic.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_14]: It's not that kind of a neighborhood.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I know.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_10]: Well, who knows?
- 49:35[SPEAKER_10]: Who knows what's going to happen?
- 49:37[SPEAKER_14]: It's just crazy that nobody's mentioning the drugs and the fatnons, stuff that's gone on and other projects.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_14]: And we're not talking about the old school projects like East Hills or Newwood or Hooverdale.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_14]: We're talking about some of the newer ones.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_14]: You know, the new A to one, the old A to one house, military housing is not military housing anymore.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_14]: I know.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_14]: All rolling come housing.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_14]: And that's what it turns into.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_14]: So eventually those will be nice to see built nice places like Creekwood or like, you know, no, I'm not becoming a low income housing.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_14]: They're not going to end up keeping the people that they want in there.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_10]: Those are the right thing.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_10]: There aren't enough people here with any income.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_14]: Right.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_14]: I agree with you.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_10]: You know, and they, they, they, those people get a double-wide out in the town of Larei.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_10]: So I mean, it's not, uh, I don't know what the answer is.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_10]: I think some nice single adduplex homes in there would be nice.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I do too.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_14]: Hi.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_14]: I think that's better often.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_10]: I'd bless you.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_14]: You know, putting like, uh, a housing duplex in a stick homes in there that'll, and they will, it will, uh, depreciate the value of the properties over there, you know,
- 50:51[SPEAKER_14]: If they do come in and they do fix the problems, are they really going to fix the problems or are they going to need more problems?
- 50:59[SPEAKER_14]: And it is very swampy over there.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_14]: And there's a lot of wildlife.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_14]: Nobody talks about that either.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_16]: Where are they going to push you?
- 51:06[SPEAKER_14]: What's going to happen to them?
- 51:08[SPEAKER_14]: There's a herd that lives over there.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_10]: So what else?
- 51:12[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_10]: All right.

- 54:30[SPEAKER_10]: I just wear them to read, but I don't know.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_10]: I always get scared with an eye test that somebody's going to say, no, the last time I went down to the DMV of that, I said, oh, I don't want to read that line on the bottom.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_10]: And the line they gave me to read was easy.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_10]: I like the top line where it says, e, I got that memorized.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_10]: So in any event, we'll have to do that.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_10]: And apparently they send it to Albany, and then you fill out.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_10]: I was filling out the thing online, it wasn't that difficult to do.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_10]: I think I'm going to do that because actually a friend of mine just, I don't know how she knew.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_10]: She said, don't forget to do your license, because I hadn't gotten any, I don't think they sent you anything in the mail anymore.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_10]: But if you do do on the air, yeah, I'll miss it, man.

- 55:16[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, I don't mean to pick on you, you've been pretty nice to me lately, but you've done this in me before.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_13]: about the border field, they have a new thing.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_13]: So it's built a few units and see how it goes.

- 55:32[SPEAKER_13]: And now you come back this week and say, that's built a few units and see how it goes.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_13]: You shoot down my idea, get a week later, you come up with a new idea.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_13]: And now it's a good idea.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_13]: And you've done this for me before.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_13]: I said, I should have just started writing for you something.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_13]: So next time, I'll tell you something.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_10]: Listen to you.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_10]: Well, no, you're right.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_13]: I think, uh, before you shoot me down, I think come back next.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_13]: We can say it's your idea and good idea.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_10]: I said it's a good idea.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_10]: I didn't say it was my idea.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I did it with my idea, but when I said it, you said it wasn't a good idea.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_13]: Now that it's, you think it's your idea.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_13]: Now it's a good idea.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_10]: Well, that sounds fair.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, anyway, it's straight.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_13]: I just think of anybody.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_10]: It's straight idea.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_10]: Thanks.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_10]: He was getting a little angry there, I hope we don't have another angry man, an angry man.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_10]: Ah, let's see, um, hmmm, what do I got for emails?
- 56:44[SPEAKER_10]: What they advertise a lot for walking showers, no?
- 56:47[SPEAKER_10]: You ever see the number of ads on TV and get, you get?
- 56:50[SPEAKER_10]: I'd like a new shower, but I mean, we got room for it.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_10]: So, what are you going to do?
- 56:56[SPEAKER_10]: Nothing.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_10]: Use the one you got.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_10]: 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_10]: We're going to couple of minutes left.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_10]: And... We'll just do what we got to do.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_10]: Fair enough, fair enough.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_10]: We got a couple of minutes, we can go to the weather, we can always, oh, part of that thing with the governor, Ogden Spur, got a 10 million dollar downtown revitalization initiative.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_10]: That's a holdover from the old Kumo days and I don't know, I mean, I don't know, what's 10 million dollars going to do for downtown Ogden Spur is there a downtown
- 57:46[SPEAKER_10]: You know, I remember when they put that mall there, you had a movie theater, you had the newspaper who was in there and some stores, but I don't think there's anything left of downtown Ogden'sburg City Hall is a diner across the street, I know I certainly know have a lot of friends up there and it's a nice little city, but I remember going up there to
- 58:11[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if I were made it in the sli-fox.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_10]: That was a popular spot for John Moore, but the three bachelors bar and there was the dark side, that was kind of an interesting place.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_10]: Then there was that little diner down near the old train station, whether I didn't have a cash register, you got a cigar box.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_10]: There was some interesting things up there, but I don't know what's left.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_10]: Used to be a lot of bars on Ford Street.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_10]: There was a bar up there.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_10]: I can't tell you the name of an air.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_10]: I can't control.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_10]: So, we'll see what 10 million dollars can do for the Maple City, hopefully, hopefully it'll work out.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_10]: Got to do something.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_10]: They still got that city planner up there.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_10]: She did a great, she was nice.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_10]: I liked her.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_10]: If they're going to have a city manager, she should have been the city manager, I think.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_10]: But anyway, they got one now.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know who he is, but... And that's probably a good thing.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_10]: You don't want one who's two in the news.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_10]: Ah, let's see, what's going on here?
- 59:19[SPEAKER_10]: T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-
- 59:31[SPEAKER_10]: But in any event, enjoy this good weather.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_10]: We're getting rid of the snow.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_10]: I came down well to Avenue for this.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_10]: And still a lot of snow in this neighborhood, trust me.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_10]: Anyway, that's our show for today.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_10]: Glenn Currie will be in at five o'clock today with the live at five show.
