- 0:00SPEAKER_04: Reed with Nuclear Soul Seekers, also podcast Trap Souls.
- 0:04SPEAKER_04: Back here with Patty and Mike, and also our leader Ryan of the group.
- 0:08SPEAKER_04: We've done an investigation now for about two hours, two and a half hours.
- 0:15SPEAKER_04: Did the Estes method with a couple different participants, including Patty, who wanted to kind of get a feel for what we were doing inside her location to see if she could pick up anything.
- 0:26SPEAKER_04: We've gotten a lot of hits on the REM pods, the cat balls around here.
- 0:32SPEAKER_04: Possibly found that there's maybe a female spirit here that feels comfortable staying here, possibly a past of domestic violence, maybe, uh, to be determined at a later date if we can do some more research.
- 0:47SPEAKER_04: Um, Mike, Patty, I mean, give us your thoughts on what how you're feeling so far with the investigation and what you've seen being your first time hands-on and it being your place of business.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: I'm kind of I think it's kind of neat.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: I mean, I like it.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: I it's it gives you a little bit more insight of what's going on in the this facility.
- 1:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, I just yeah, it gives me sort of a um more connective feeling, like um, let's see, how can I explain it?
- 1:21SPEAKER_02: Like I'm doing something for previous people that are here.
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: We're here.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Or or like we're all about hit.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: We like history, yeah, local history, and finding out more about the area and what's going on in the area and different different things like it sort of gives you a connection.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Connection, yeah.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: There's a there's a little more connection.
- 1:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and I know a lot of times you'll see on shows, and you a lot of time the spirits will feel more connected to you when you're a kinder, friendlier family coming in, trying to do the right things.
- 2:00SPEAKER_04: You're not coming in and tearing out the walls, and you're not breaking down the old equipment and throwing it out like it means nothing to you because to them that was everything.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Actually, the exact opposite, because when we came in here, there were things in here I really didn't think fit in as we've gone through and cleaned and remodeled whatever remodeling we've done.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: I've we've located photos of the place at different points in time in the last century, and we mounted them on the wall.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: Okay, and tried to find out a little bit about what was going on when that picture was taken.
- 2:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: So that we can tell people about it.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: Because that's what we like doing.
- 2:45SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Now I know when sorry, Ryan.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: No, they're they're keeping their story alive.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Because so many things happen in life where people just move on.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And they're they're forgotten.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: You're making sure that they're not forgotten.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Correct.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: That's why I think we're old school, and old school is always going to be the best thing it is for us.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: So that's how we feel.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: I I was everybody always tells me I was brought born in the wrong time.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: I'm uh I was a hundred years too late.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: So a lot of people when they look at stuff or they do, uh, you know, oh well, but I look at stuff and and it's becomes important to me, like the old pictures and stuff, because those were people who made this country and who uh there there's history there, there's feeling there to me.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: That's that's important.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: It it means a lot.
- 3:41SPEAKER_04: And how many times do you go somewhere and find out that it started as a pickle factory?
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Trumbull Township had a pickle factory right here.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Trumbull Township, the pickle factory.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Well, like you said, made this country, not just this country, but made this town.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Even the people coming through.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, this was at one point the wild west.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Until the wild west became the wild west.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: I mean everything would happen in stages and you know, this county and as everybody moved west, yeah.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: So I mean, it's got because they the people that came through here made this town what it is.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: And I don't uh a lot of people don't like history, but I don't think people should forget about history.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: I think it's it's important.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: Um and and everything all of this is history.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: It is it's if you don't remember to repeat it.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: That yeah, that it sh shouldn't be forgotten.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: These people shouldn't be forgotten.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, just think five, six, eight, ten years ago that they tried to erase history in a lot of schools.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: They're still trying.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: They're still trying.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: And that's wrong.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Uh to me, it's it's a hundred percent wrong.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Because they always what's all it's saying?
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: History always repeats itself.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Because one person got a bug up their ear because they didn't like what happened with this, okay.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: You know, things happen in every different nationality, race, whatever, for whatever reason.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: But that's to to try and erase what happened 50 years ago is wrong because if you don't remember what happened 50 years ago, it's gonna happen again.
- 5:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah, absolutely.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: And nobody understands that, and nobody really thinks about that.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: You take away the stuff that happened when when uh Pearl Harbor got bombed, and we went and and took out the atom bomb.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Our country stopped doing stuff like that because of the devastation and what it did to people.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: Okay, and if if they erase that from history, some idiot someday is gonna do again.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:48SPEAKER_04: And you summed it up perfectly.
- 5:50SPEAKER_04: It's it's people, right?
- 5:52SPEAKER_04: It's not a race, ethnicity, we're just people.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, humanity.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: And I think I tell everybody that when they come in here.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: You know, I don't care who you are, I don't care if you got a dollar, a billion dollars, you're a regular guy to me.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: You walk through the door of my place, as long as you don't have a problem with me, I don't got a problem with you.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: You can stay here as long as you mind.
- 6:13SPEAKER_04: Until closing.
- 6:14unknown: Until closing.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, until it's time to go home.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:19SPEAKER_04: Closing time, right?
- 6:20SPEAKER_04: Now, I I will say what when you talk about your history is, you know, Patty, you took uh Becca and myself up to the other side of the building, which we'll look at later um with some footage we took.
- 6:31SPEAKER_04: But there were a lot of old pictures that you guys still haven't hung up yet in the building, you still haven't gotten to it yet.
- 6:37SPEAKER_04: But there are some pretty incredible pictures of if you just look across the street right now, you've got a couple houses, but it was nothing but trees and wilderness.
- 6:45SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and then this was like the main hub right here.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 6:49SPEAKER_04: So everything revolved around this exact position of the town.
- 6:53SPEAKER_04: So pretty neat.
- 6:55SPEAKER_04: And you got a lot to still hang up.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we do.
- 6:57SPEAKER_04: And interesting enough, when we were doing this investigation, when Patty went under in the Estes method, before we started, Becca went back with Patty and brought back a picture of a dog, I believe, correct?
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: The front of the building, there were some people and a dog, yes, okay standing there, yeah.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: She went with the inner quickly.
- 7:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and um when you wonder under with the Estes method, we weren't picking up anything.
- 7:27SPEAKER_04: And then you guys had the idea.
- 7:29SPEAKER_04: Well, well, you didn't, you were under, but Becca's like, let's take this picture back, because we're not getting anything at this time.
- 7:36SPEAKER_04: As soon as they took the picture back out of this room back to where it was, you came out with a with a word or something.
- 7:43SPEAKER_04: So it just it just shows that you move things around, this is their stuff, it's your stuff, but it's their stuff.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 7:52SPEAKER_04: So it's fun.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: And in this short period of time, it has given me a different feeling about this.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: I feel good about the the lady that's here, the bride, a female who whoever she is, um it's it's got a warm feeling for it for me.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: Like it's it's changed my thought process.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: Does that make sense?
- 8:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah, absolutely.
- 8:21SPEAKER_04: And I'm glad to hear that because I mean, you know, everybody Ryan mentioned in his last podcast that he he spoke on, but most people watch this stuff and they want to see people get possessed, they want to see that the live action, the excitement, but 99% of the time it's not.
- 8:38SPEAKER_04: And we want to come into a place like this, and we want to we don't want to tell you that they hate you and they want everybody gone, and we want you know the old owners back or something crazy like that.
- 8:49SPEAKER_04: We you want to hear that it's warm and welcoming and that it's not something dangerous because you don't want anything dangerous here.
- 8:55SPEAKER_04: And if you would have heard something like that, you might have had second thoughts of even being here.
- 9:00SPEAKER_04: So it's got to be refreshing.
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: So let's go back to when we showed up here and I set the REM pod over there.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: Like you saw the REM pod go off.
- 9:09SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: You looked a little uneasy at that time because you weren't sure.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: And you walked away.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh, I don't know.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Then you're like, can we stay?
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: I was like, yeah, if you want to.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: So from that point to now, it's a huge difference.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Because you got more comfortable about it's inviting, like you're interested.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: Yes, and it's interesting, and it's piques your interest, it makes you want to find out more.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: Because people are always scared, like he said, all the shows.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: Even we talked about the one time that people are so scared of what I call the unknown.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Because they are.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: They're they're scared of it because it's unknown.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: Like 99% of the things that want to make the REM powder.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: People get freaked out about that.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: But it could just be some say, hey, I'm here.
- 9:57SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Like, hey, thanks.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: You know, so many people are scared.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Like, oh my god, the REM power went off.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: It's a demon and they run.
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: And I feel more comfortable knowing that this is female.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: I don't know why.
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: But it it's like you said, it's not an evil type thing.
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: It's it's um maybe I'm helping her be safe.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: It's a safe haven for her.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: When you're and it makes you feel good, yes.
- 10:29SPEAKER_04: You might feel a little more welcome that you know you're with likewise company.
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:36SPEAKER_02: It's it's it really is, yeah.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: Changes on that.
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: I hope you enjoy it.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: I I appreciate it.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: I know Mark does.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm thrilled that you're here.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: I was like so excited about it.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: You know, I've done some big investigations, like Trans Allegheny, Madison, Mansfield, you know, all the big names.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: But you know, we went to Mark's cabin a few weeks last month, a few weeks ago.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: And it was kind of like this feeling, just friendly, family tight.
- 11:04SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: And I enjoy this stuff more than going to those famous places.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Like I love coming in here and just getting some answers and making, you know, more comfortable.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: That's what it is.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: And uh enjoy it.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: First time people investigate this place.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's great.
- 11:21SPEAKER_04: I appreciate it.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:24SPEAKER_04: And we got a couple more hours of, you know, investigation to go.
- 11:27SPEAKER_04: And you know, you you really don't get most of your answers or the vocal stuff until we run through all the audio.
- 11:35SPEAKER_04: And I mean, it takes a long time because Ryan actually goes through, like I mentioned, he goes through all the facts because he wants to make sure it's legitimate, right?
- 11:43SPEAKER_04: We don't want anything out there that isn't real or definite.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 11:46SPEAKER_04: Um, so I mean, we're still backed up three investigations on evidence because he actually goes through it with the fine-tooth comb.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: I'll do a lot of research too, and see if I can find any stuff that around here.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: I don't like doing research before I come into a place because it'll influence influence you.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: So I like doing the after.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, we did Ross House, and we got a lot of like words through Ross House that didn't make sense, but once I did the research, it was a lot of stuff made sense.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, we're talking like I went through obituaries from like the 1800s.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: Those things are weird, I won't tell you that much right now.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: They were pretty blunt back in the 1800s with obituaries.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: Guy put a gun in his mouth and shot, like, that's how the obituary read.
- 12:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: So I went through all those and I we found some good answers.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: Especially like with the coal mine, and um we got Blue K, which what is Blue K?
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: But back down there in Bel Air, the Klan was huge back down there.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Blue K was police officers that were clan members.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: So stuff like that we got.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: You know, the lady the owner, you know, we still talk and a lot of good stuff that came out of that.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: She's very interested.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: So anything I find, I'll pass it on.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Um if I can find something about the lady.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: You know, a name, dog's name.
- 13:09SPEAKER_02: Something, yeah.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: We'll get something.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: And you know, I say, you know, find those pictures.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, you don't have to hang up every picture.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: But any anything that has any kind of I don't know, significance that that that you can recognize will probably end up on a lot.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I I think a lot of it too.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: You guys have a lot.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: You're gonna pick one and it's gonna connect to you.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Put those up.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: Well, I know the three that we have hanging up now, those those pretty they're pretty descriptive of history for this particular establishment for at least a hundred years.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: Well, keep doing what you're doing.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay.
- 13:51SPEAKER_04: Spirits love it.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:53SPEAKER_04: They're happy with it, and that's a positive note, right?
- 13:55SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: So the only thing is we don't know how they were prior to this.
- 13:59SPEAKER_04: So does it matter?
- 14:02SPEAKER_02: No, not really.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 14:05SPEAKER_04: Like I've told you before when we've talked, this is your location, right?
- 14:08SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 14:09SPEAKER_04: So that's all that matters.
- 14:10SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 14:10SPEAKER_04: And and they know that.
- 14:11SPEAKER_04: They know that now.
- 14:12SPEAKER_04: We spoke about it, they answered to it.
- 14:15SPEAKER_04: They know Mike.
- 14:16SPEAKER_04: We mentioned, we said, Do you like Mike?
- 14:18SPEAKER_04: And it went Mike.
- 14:20SPEAKER_04: So it's listening.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: Okay, good.
- 14:24SPEAKER_02: Nice.
- 14:25SPEAKER_04: All right.
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, this has been great.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: Really enjoyed it.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Well, I'd appreciate it again.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: We like having you guys here.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: This is something really that we really look forward to.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: I'm glad you guys got the experience too.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Mike.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: Because you're like, can we stay?
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was like, yeah.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: Well, I didn't, yeah.
- 14:45SPEAKER_02: I wasn't sure if we were allowed to or not.
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: So yeah, yeah, no.
- 14:48SPEAKER_04: You're not allowed to stay in your own bar.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: Well.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 14:52SPEAKER_04: We own the bar for that period of time.
- 14:54SPEAKER_04: We have a deed.
- 14:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't know if it would be a distraction or yeah, or you know, so it's always good to have a connection.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: I I believe it's good to have a connection.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: You guys are connected to this place, so we're not.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: So it's good to have that connection.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: And it's interesting, and since such a short period of time, to already have that where they're aware.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Recognition, yeah.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Recognition.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: There's places we go and we don't get anything.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: We weren't expecting anything tonight.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: So wow, some of my customers are going to be really shocked.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you, there's a lot of I've been a lot of interest.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: They were like, can we come?
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: Can we and then um Hope.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: Remember?
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: Do you remember Hope?
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: She was here the last night.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and she's no no, I don't get any vibes from here.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: She'll be a little shocked, won't she?
- 15:49SPEAKER_02: She'll be probably shocked.
- 15:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, she'll be like, you know, and that'll that'll get you know, the people that like this stuff will come in more to see if they feel something, you know.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: So it'd be interesting because Mark and I talked about it, like, because they don't feel anything now, what they call sensitives or whatever they call them.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Um you tell them, do they feel something after?
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: You know.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: I guarantee that you will.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: I guess.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, maybe uh knowing how I'll put I'll put a paycheck on it.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: So so would I, and I don't want to, because that's why I don't like looking at stuff before I come, because it'll influence right.
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Your mind is your strongest.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: I guess.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: Debunk.
- 16:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 16:31SPEAKER_04: And just if you just thinking about it, right?
- 16:34SPEAKER_04: So Becca first came in here, she went by the you know, the piano we talked about it earlier and started reading, right?
- 16:41SPEAKER_04: She's like, Well, this is this is a hell of a start.
