- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables but hill I'm willing to die
- 0:03Speaker 1: on is. So they asked me how I feel, and
- 0:05Speaker 1: I said, if someone compliments your partner and you're upset
- 0:10Speaker 1: about it, the problem isn't the compliment, but the problem
- 0:15Speaker 1: is you.
- 0:18Speaker 2: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself Audie Clark aka Mummy,
- 0:30Speaker 2: and my partner in crime, mister Jake Craig aka Daddy.
- 0:33Speaker 2: And Odi is Mummy because he is the one you
- 0:36Speaker 2: need to go to when you want to talk about
- 0:37Speaker 2: your feelings, and Jake is Daddy because here's the one
- 0:40Speaker 2: you go to because he can't say no to the baddies,
- 0:43Speaker 2: and you guys listening are the baddies. Let's go. It
- 0:47Speaker 2: actually worked pretty well. Welcome back, guys. We've got a
- 0:51Speaker 2: few new things. Firstly, I want to preface the new
- 0:54Speaker 2: cars for all the video watches, they're sick in my opinion.
- 0:58Speaker 1: If you guys have only ever listened to the podcast.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Every time we're doing like a AGI question or a.
- 1:07Speaker 2: They got to nowhere reading or dilemma. Yeah, we're reading
- 1:09Speaker 2: them for a long time.
- 1:11Speaker 1: We're reading off our phones and now for a long
- 1:12Speaker 1: time we've been reading them off our cards. And we
- 1:14Speaker 1: just updated our cards, so audio listeners, we want you
- 1:16Speaker 1: to be involved even though you can't see them.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Upgrades, Baby, upgrades. But first Monday episode where we're not
- 1:24Speaker 2: wearing headphones because we're trying to predict our hearing. Yeah,
- 1:26Speaker 2: we've been having some issues in the background. Hey, just
- 1:29Speaker 2: like in the studio, this is like a fully self
- 1:31Speaker 2: made studio and we don't really know the repercussions of
- 1:35Speaker 2: wearing headphones very loud for three years slash having artificial
- 1:38Speaker 2: light really brighten your eyes while we're complaining.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But I don't know, I'm not complaining. It's just very
- 1:44Speaker 1: recently we figured out that the light from our lights
- 1:48Speaker 1: and the and the combination of having the headphones and
- 1:52Speaker 1: they just send it to the depths of your brain,
- 1:54Speaker 1: telling you it gets you in.
- 1:56Speaker 2: The zone, Yeah, but really gets you on the zone.
- 1:58Speaker 2: It sends you to the depths of your brain. And
- 2:00Speaker 2: once we're like finished recording for the day, we always will,
- 2:05Speaker 2: we kind of sit here and and just think, why
- 2:09Speaker 2: do I feel? Sus And we've put it down to it.
- 2:13Speaker 2: We can remove the headphones, we can't remove the light unfortunately. Yeah,
- 2:18Speaker 2: but we're definitely good. We're happy, we're learning what works
- 2:23Speaker 2: for us, which is relatable, very relatable. Yeah, it's crazy
- 2:27Speaker 2: how much we've learned. Lucky we're almost the same person though, Yeah,
- 2:30Speaker 2: pretty close to it. Can I say something because you
- 2:32Speaker 2: said that? So what was I posting? Something was posted
- 2:41Speaker 2: all right? Yeah, and someone said that, Oh it was
- 2:48Speaker 2: a comment on our birthday post. I've got one too,
- 2:51Speaker 2: three year birthdays relatables turned three and we posted something
- 2:55Speaker 2: for it.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I read some comments. Someone said, you guys are best friends.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I thought you were brothers this whole time. Your name
- 3:02Speaker 1: is Craig, mine's Clark. Click on our profiles, reckon they
- 3:06Speaker 1: see the C and ce like the same might be fair,
- 3:08Speaker 1: we could be like but step brothers.
- 3:10Speaker 2: That doesn't even make anything. I saw a funny one too,
- 3:13Speaker 2: is some people like still hit on us on the
- 3:16Speaker 2: d ms obviously who don't listen to the podcast, and
- 3:18Speaker 2: now we have partners. But we also had a TikTok
- 3:22Speaker 2: that went semi decent and it was you saying you're
- 3:24Speaker 2: an aquarium or an aquarius yeah, and me saying I'm
- 3:27Speaker 2: a leo. And she goes, I knew you were an aquarium.
- 3:30Speaker 2: You're so hot. He goes to shut goes to shot
- 3:44Speaker 2: that do star signs me and anything. Obviously you didn't know.
- 3:50Speaker 2: They had no idea. But today, Jake, we are starting
- 3:53Speaker 2: with the song updates. Yeah, this is uh. They're out.
- 3:58Speaker 2: The Baddie EP is live. They're being streamed. Keep it up, guys,
- 4:03Speaker 2: We love you, but little recon Last week we asked
- 4:07Speaker 2: you guys to stream it. Comment the radio stations you
- 4:10Speaker 2: want us to get on, because this is the ploy
- 4:12Speaker 2: to get us on the radio.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean yeah, if you listened to last week
- 4:15Speaker 1: and if you're just tuning in this week, we have
- 4:17Speaker 1: released an EP.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It is called Baddie because of obviously all you guys
- 4:21Speaker 1: a baddies and it is your your lovely hosts here
- 4:26Speaker 1: jakn Nody, who are singing on said EP. We have
- 4:31Speaker 1: three songs. There's Shalant his POV and Love a Boys version.
- 4:34Speaker 1: They're all very different genres, but the mission is to
- 4:38Speaker 1: get at least one of them on a radio station somewhere.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Doesn't even have to be international. Sorry, is there even
- 4:43Speaker 1: international radio station?
- 4:44Speaker 2: We did some international radio really Okay, it doesn't have
- 4:47Speaker 2: to be a national one. It could be a local one. Yeah,
- 4:49Speaker 2: we just want to hear it on the radio. So
- 4:52Speaker 2: phase one is the initial DM. Yeah, so I'm going
- 4:56Speaker 2: to read you what we DMD about. I would say
- 4:59Speaker 2: about two twelve to fourteen radio stations, and we'll go
- 5:01Speaker 2: through the radio stations we DM. So let's read the DM.
- 5:05Speaker 2: We just copied and pasted and changed the name of
- 5:07Speaker 2: the top two. Yeah, okay, this is so this is
- 5:08Speaker 2: the DM that we've yeah, we've said, yeah, yeah, ok.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Hopefully none of these radio stations do the due diligence
- 5:13Speaker 2: and listen to this. What we didn't personalize, yeah, we did.
- 5:18Speaker 2: We change the name work smarter, not harder. So the
- 5:21Speaker 2: DM was Hey, insert radio station where Jack and Oti
- 5:23Speaker 2: from the related to this podcast, And we are about
- 5:26Speaker 2: to drop our debut EP Baddie on the first of
- 5:28Speaker 2: July with three tracks We're stoked about Chalant his PERV
- 5:32Speaker 2: Love a Boys version. They're funny, reliable and built for
- 5:35Speaker 2: driving with the windows down. We'd love to get them
- 5:37Speaker 2: played on the radio just once. Low, Okay, can we
- 5:41Speaker 2: send you them through for a listen. Appreciate your time.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And the radio stations we contacted. Ah, the Hits en Z, Yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 2: the Hits Breakfast, the Hits AU Okay, the Hits Drive, Yeah,
- 5:55Speaker 2: this is the first one to respond. They said, Hi there,
- 5:58Speaker 2: thanks for getting in touch. We will get back to
- 6:00Speaker 2: as soon as possible. That was the Hits drive. Yes okay,
- 6:03Speaker 2: George FM and Z radio station in New Zealand, shout
- 6:07Speaker 2: out Star one of two point seven cans, Nice one
- 6:11Speaker 2: O six point five Kiss FM, Carl and Jackie, oh
- 6:16Speaker 2: Will and Woody Kiss one O six point five, lew
- 6:20Speaker 2: and Jarge new radio station. Did we message them? They're radio?
- 6:25Speaker 2: They have a radio Instagram, not their actual page. Two okay, Nice,
- 6:29Speaker 2: iHeart radio. Are you nova? We got a response, but
- 6:33Speaker 2: I think it was automated. Will we take that?
- 6:35Speaker 3: Probably?
- 6:36Speaker 4: No.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Automated responses don't mean anything. Triple J we have a
- 6:38Speaker 2: million followers Triple Triple M Sydney and this is the
- 6:44Speaker 2: best the lead we've got so far. Jimmy and Nath
- 6:47Speaker 2: we have a little bit of rapport with them too.
- 6:49Speaker 2: We've been on their podcast. So we got yeah boys,
- 6:52Speaker 2: send them through so not a robot and an email
- 6:55Speaker 2: n which we emailed and they yet to get back
- 6:58Speaker 2: to us. So okay, okay, okay, funny. So that's our update.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Do we want to say what we're going to do
- 7:09Speaker 2: this week to try and get a step further, or
- 7:11Speaker 2: should I tell my story that Jimmy and Nath have
- 7:15Speaker 2: something to do with Let's tell your story. Okay, this
- 7:20Speaker 2: is I'm going to go from like beginning. I I think.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Three weeks ago, came onto the podcast with a story,
- 7:31Speaker 1: and I believe I brought it as a dilemma. I
- 7:34Speaker 1: brought it to Oddie and the Baddies, and I had
- 7:37Speaker 1: posted it.
- 7:38Speaker 2: On TikTok to preface.
- 7:40Speaker 1: And the dilemma was about the local barrista where my
- 7:45Speaker 1: girlfriend Beth goes on mornings where she's not working, had
- 7:50Speaker 1: been writing her little love notes on her take away
- 7:52Speaker 1: coffee carp We hate to see it, okay, And so
- 7:57Speaker 1: one of them happened, and then she told me about
- 8:00Speaker 1: it and I said, ha ha, funny, funny, and it
- 8:03Speaker 1: said my love. Another one, this one said my secret
- 8:07Speaker 1: and then the third one, Beth came in and goes,
- 8:10Speaker 1: oh my god, I got another one, and I was like, wait,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I'm going to start making a video and give a
- 8:13Speaker 1: live reaction. So I made a TikTok and had my
- 8:16Speaker 1: live reaction of it, and it said my secret love
- 8:19Speaker 1: and he was so he's combining them, and it kind
- 8:22Speaker 1: of got the video did pretty good, and so then I.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Got a news article written about me. I get away
- 8:32Speaker 2: from this Daily Mail. Yeah, And then I got.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Honestly, I do want to read the comments on the
- 8:41Speaker 1: news article on the Daily Mail, or I'll just tell
- 8:44Speaker 1: you one.
- 8:44Speaker 2: So when they asked for like permission and said, yeah, like,
- 8:48Speaker 2: as long as you don't I don't know, just make
- 8:50Speaker 2: sure it's nice. And so they wrote this thing and someone.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Commented on it, and I feel terrible for the person
- 8:56Speaker 1: who wrote it because they're just doing their job.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I think it's funny. But someone said this is the
- 9:02Speaker 2: worst piece of journalism I've ever seen I've ever laid
- 9:06Speaker 2: eyes on along those lines, you, I reckon, it's good.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Sorry I should have brought the thing. But okay, So
- 9:15Speaker 2: that was like a three week over three weeks. That
- 9:19Speaker 2: happened right in a three week period.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And so then I think it was on Sunday night.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I'm going to read you the text message I got
- 9:27Speaker 1: random okay, let me okay, cook cook cool. On Sunday night,
- 9:32Speaker 1: at four twenty three pm, I get a text message
- 9:35Speaker 1: from a random number. Hey Jake, my name is Lauren
- 9:39Speaker 1: and I'm one of the senior producers for Jimmy and
- 9:42Speaker 1: Nath and Emma on today I FM. Nath passed along
- 9:46Speaker 1: your details. We were wondering if you would.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Be free for a phone chat tomorrow morning about the
- 9:51Speaker 2: barista who wrote on your girlfriend's coffee cup. Would you
- 9:54Speaker 2: be free around seven forty am. And So when I
- 9:57Speaker 2: first started reading that, I thought it was gonna be
- 9:59Speaker 2: about song. Jake said it to me and I started
- 10:02Speaker 2: reading it, and I was so excited, and I kept waiting, Oh,
- 10:05Speaker 2: like you're kidding. I was like, I was thinking on
- 10:07Speaker 2: my head, well, that was easy. When I first started,
- 10:11Speaker 2: I'm thinking the same thing, like, cuty this quick. We
- 10:13Speaker 2: need them put some fucking I've got a response and
- 10:17Speaker 2: email Jimmy and Knafe like a day after that. Half
- 10:20Speaker 2: the episode came out, honestly, and so I I told
- 10:26Speaker 2: Beth and she she laughed and she goes, do it?
- 10:28Speaker 2: Do it? Do it? Yeah? But I screenshoted before I replied,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and I said to Audio, I was like, has this
- 10:33Speaker 2: should I do it? And then so he said to
- 10:35Speaker 2: me gues. I thought that was gonna be the song
- 10:36Speaker 2: ish blah blah and so ah.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Basically I was kind of umming and ring whether I
- 10:42Speaker 1: wanted to do it or not. And then I thought
- 10:43Speaker 1: I got to use this to my advantage, so I
- 10:45Speaker 1: sent a message.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I said, yeah, I'd love to seven forty is fine.
- 10:50Speaker 2: I'll keep my phone on.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Also, I'd love to book in a chat with Jimmy
- 10:55Speaker 1: and Nath off air, because myself and my podcast host
- 11:00Speaker 1: have an idea for our podcast that Jimmy and Nath
- 11:03Speaker 1: could play a part in. Do the boys have any
- 11:05Speaker 1: time tomorrow after their show? She said, stunning, thank you
- 11:09Speaker 1: so much, looking forward to it. But I said, oh amazing.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I'm sure they would love to hear about it or
- 11:15Speaker 1: check what post show looks like tomorrow and confirm a time.
- 11:18Speaker 1: So I said thank you, and here's where. So I
- 11:22Speaker 1: didn't want to tell them about the songs. I didn't
- 11:24Speaker 1: want to say, like if you check your emails. I
- 11:25Speaker 1: kind of wanted to make it seem as though I
- 11:28Speaker 1: don't know, we just had like a six story time. Okay,
- 11:31Speaker 1: But she goes, the boys' schedule is pretty packed this
- 11:34Speaker 1: week because Nath goes to Spain on Friday. But shoot
- 11:38Speaker 1: them an email with the idea and they will tee
- 11:40Speaker 1: up a time for a chat when he's back. She
- 11:43Speaker 1: sent me the email and I said, too easy, thank
- 11:45Speaker 1: you so much.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I don't. I didn't want to say, go check your
- 11:47Speaker 2: emails because it's already there. Basically, that's okay, I'm not
- 11:52Speaker 2: We've hit a little bit of a cross, right, We've
- 11:53Speaker 2: hit a wall, though, so we don't give up. Though
- 11:56Speaker 2: we were looking good, we were sitting pretty Yeah, okay,
- 12:01Speaker 2: that's our best lead so far. Yeah, we're still gonna
- 12:04Speaker 2: go down that avenue. Hopefully when Jimmy or Neff gets
- 12:07Speaker 2: back from Spain, we'll get a call in.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we should send another email, but actually
- 12:11Speaker 1: I bet I'm not gonna lie. I feel like the
- 12:13Speaker 1: bautis pre You want to hear about how I went
- 12:14Speaker 1: on the radio, so I'll tell you quickly.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I'll take that. Okay, So next day, this is often
- 12:20Speaker 2: this is selfishly. I was just thinking about the songs, okay,
- 12:25Speaker 2: So next day I was actually thinking, obviously they're gonna.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I've never phoned into a radio, right, so I was
- 12:34Speaker 1: intrigued how it was going to be done. But also
- 12:36Speaker 1: I'd never I set an alarm for seven thirty to
- 12:39Speaker 1: remind me, like I was gonna forget, but I.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Sent in love for seven thirty to remind me, and
- 12:44Speaker 2: so I was super intrigued as how we don't hold
- 12:48Speaker 2: to start. Yeah, okay, I've always wondered that I have
- 12:52Speaker 2: a routine.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Where I wake up, have a shower, and then I'll
- 12:59Speaker 1: go sit at my desk straight away and just kind
- 13:01Speaker 1: of look at my computer write my list of things
- 13:03Speaker 1: I want to do that day, and then I'll go
- 13:05Speaker 1: downstairs make my breakfast.
- 13:07Speaker 2: And I don't I don't do anything until i'vee pood.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Okay, sorry, sorry to be vulgar. I've done my bitness.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And so I got to seven thirty I think it
- 13:20Speaker 1: got to a bout and and the you're on the.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Toilet my reminder, My reminder goes off, all right.
- 13:27Speaker 1: And Beth is in our bathroom getting ready for work,
- 13:30Speaker 1: and I go, Beth, it's like seven thirty five, I
- 13:33Speaker 1: need to ship.
- 13:35Speaker 2: So your body, dude, your body. I went down to
- 13:38Speaker 2: our downstairs bathroom and I just went, you know what,
- 13:41Speaker 2: I think I can. I can push this out before
- 13:43Speaker 2: they call me. And so I go down. I'm just
- 13:45Speaker 2: blah blah blah blah blah. Seven forty on the dot,
- 13:48Speaker 2: I'm still on the toilet. I get a call. Hey,
- 13:50Speaker 2: Lauren is the producer also just they get up so
- 13:53Speaker 2: early that she was like it was midday for she
- 13:55Speaker 2: was cheery as and I was like, holy crap. And
- 13:58Speaker 2: so I'm she goes, hey, the boys are about to
- 14:02Speaker 2: just do a little intro for it.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Do you mind just holding and then they'll bring you in.
- 14:07Speaker 1: So I was on the toilet and I wiped and
- 14:10Speaker 1: I got upstairs. But yeah, it was just it's music, right,
- 14:18Speaker 1: and then you just hear what They all just kind
- 14:21Speaker 1: of start chatting, like Nathan or Jimmy, and one of
- 14:23Speaker 1: them starts going, ah, what would you do if someone
- 14:27Speaker 1: hit on your partner?
- 14:29Speaker 2: And it's all like such. It's so fast paced that
- 14:32Speaker 2: I had no idea.
- 14:32Speaker 1: They're about to say my name and then they go, oh,
- 14:36Speaker 1: we got a Sydney bloke.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Who's the girl named Emma?
- 14:39Speaker 1: Show goes, yeah, we've got a guy from Sydney who's
- 14:41Speaker 1: experienced this firsthand.
- 14:43Speaker 2: And then I will shout out to Jimmy and Nathan.
- 14:45Speaker 2: One of them goes, ah, yeah, Jakie from the relatable
- 14:49Speaker 2: Let's go. But yeah, they just kind of asked me
- 14:52Speaker 2: about it, and I told I told this the quickest
- 14:55Speaker 2: backstory I could and.
- 14:59Speaker 1: They just kind of well, like I got to like
- 15:02Speaker 1: hear how it works, and then one of them said, so,
- 15:04Speaker 1: how do you actually feel about it? And I was
- 15:06Speaker 1: just like, you know, this is kind.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Of actually a hill.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I'm willing to die on something we're going to talk
- 15:10Speaker 1: about probably in a minute, but hill I'm willing to
- 15:13Speaker 1: die on is So they asked me how I feel,
- 15:16Speaker 1: and I said, if someone compliments your partner and you're
- 15:21Speaker 1: upset about it, the problem isn't the compliment, but the
- 15:25Speaker 1: problem is you.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Wow. And I was just thinking, I can't wait to
- 15:30Speaker 2: talk about this in the podcast because I just spat
- 15:31Speaker 2: a bar National Radio. Let's go. I really did. But
- 15:37Speaker 2: they're like wow. They were kind of like actually fast,
- 15:41Speaker 2: so true, standing on business and then yeah, I got
- 15:45Speaker 2: Then they go alright, thanks Eaves, Jake, and so I
- 15:49Speaker 2: was like cool, and I stayed on. I thought they
- 15:50Speaker 2: were just gonna hang up. Yeah, And so I stayed
- 15:53Speaker 2: on and then I hear them go all right, you
- 15:55Speaker 2: guys phone in seven three one two two two?
- 15:57Speaker 1: What do you do when someone hits on your partner?
- 15:59Speaker 1: And I was just staying on the phone and Beth goes,
- 16:00Speaker 1: hang on, you can hang up.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I was like, do I hang up? They didn't say it.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I just thought they would have hung up, So I
- 16:04Speaker 2: just hung up and nothing's happened. Okay, probably the right thing.
- 16:07Speaker 2: What was kind of nervous? Yeah, I bet, I bet?
- 16:10Speaker 2: And well we've done a podcast with them, and they
- 16:12Speaker 2: are very radio compared to podcasting is like one hundred
- 16:15Speaker 2: miles a minute. It's so quick. Yeah, they because they
- 16:18Speaker 2: have their own podcast. Yeah, yeah, it's called Born Funny.
- 16:22Speaker 1: And when we went in, they had just finished recording
- 16:26Speaker 1: their radio show.
- 16:27Speaker 2: And they came in and they're just so awake. They're
- 16:32Speaker 2: just so awake. And when they did the intro to
- 16:34Speaker 2: their their podcast, it was like it was crazy. It
- 16:39Speaker 2: caught me off guard for sure. Yeah, I remember. The
- 16:41Speaker 2: first thing I said was, well, you guys, you'd be
- 16:43Speaker 2: good at ad reads, That's all I'm saying, because you
- 16:45Speaker 2: read something off for sheet. Yeah, it would be one
- 16:47Speaker 2: of those good auctioneers. Like. But yeah, it was kind
- 16:50Speaker 2: of what it was a weird experience. I get to say,
- 16:52Speaker 2: I've been on radio now, so yeah, yeah, actually, which
- 16:54Speaker 2: is cool. We're so close, but no cigar not quiet.
- 16:59Speaker 2: But I think we'll get I think we'll get there.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Next steps though, Yeah, here's I reckon Okay, next steps, Yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 2: next steps are in the background of our podcast. We
- 17:08Speaker 2: have got some connections to luckily, Yeah, luckily just from
- 17:13Speaker 2: like us doing our thing, talking to some people in
- 17:16Speaker 2: the industry, and we have some emails to some very
- 17:19Speaker 2: important people. We have a Spotify contact, a Listener contact,
- 17:25Speaker 2: which is the radio station today connected to.
- 17:28Speaker 1: So Listener is owned owned by Southern Cross over Stereo
- 17:32Speaker 1: and Southern Cross our stereo.
- 17:33Speaker 2: In Australia is the biggest one. Yeah. So they have
- 17:36Speaker 2: Triple M, they have Jimmy and nath today they have
- 17:39Speaker 2: all these So we've got to connect to the podcast
- 17:42Speaker 2: side of that, yeah, which is still a connect. And
- 17:45Speaker 2: we have a Nova connect which as Nova. The Nova
- 17:49Speaker 2: connector we have is the podcast side. It's a foot
- 17:53Speaker 2: in the door. So next steps are we're going to
- 17:56Speaker 2: send a few more emails. I actually have faith in
- 17:58Speaker 2: Spotify because I won't say their name yet knows everyone, Yes,
- 18:03Speaker 2: they know everyone. The only question is we need a
- 18:06Speaker 2: foot in the door. Is it a song, Jake, and
- 18:08Speaker 2: then we're in. Is radio a competitor to Spotify? Oh no,
- 18:13Speaker 2: it can't be. And to be fair, the songs are
- 18:15Speaker 2: already on Spotify. We've given you what you want. So
- 18:19Speaker 2: next steps are email. We will get some more responses
- 18:22Speaker 2: on the dms. It's only been about five days. Yes, yes, yes,
- 18:25Speaker 2: I don't know when they get back to us. And
- 18:27Speaker 2: but what you guys can do to help is just
- 18:30Speaker 2: keep on. Please stream in the songs again. If you
- 18:32Speaker 2: don't like them, that doesn't matter. Put it on overnight.
- 18:35Speaker 2: That meme it goes hard on mute. If our songs
- 18:38Speaker 2: go hard on, we don't care. All I heard was
- 18:40Speaker 2: it goes harder. I'm having fun. Yeah, I reckon. We've
- 18:46Speaker 2: got this same is key manifested. I've been having some
- 18:51Speaker 2: thoughts about it, right, this is all fun yeah to us,
- 18:54Speaker 2: right if we get on the radio, we only want
- 18:58Speaker 2: it played once to be fair. Yeah, and we want
- 19:01Speaker 2: to listen to it played. But I feel is it
- 19:06Speaker 2: a thing?
- 19:07Speaker 1: You know how industries different industries get kind of annoyed
- 19:10Speaker 1: when someone with a platform comes in and just does
- 19:13Speaker 1: something and.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Gets it straight away. Are we going to be hated
- 19:17Speaker 2: by musicians for writing a song that subjectively is not good?
- 19:23Speaker 2: And hey, I'm even compared to someone that's really good, right, Well,
- 19:27Speaker 2: I think they would be angry if we. I think
- 19:30Speaker 2: the valuable thing about a radio song on a radio
- 19:33Speaker 2: is if you get it on the roster and it's
- 19:34Speaker 2: played repetitively, like one listen at nine fifty three pm,
- 19:39Speaker 2: is it going to do it? It's not even gonna
- 19:41Speaker 2: lie midnight give me anything?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all I want is midnight. I want to
- 19:46Speaker 1: record our reactions. I want to celebrate let off some poppers.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't think there'll be any rebuttals to that,
- 19:51Speaker 2: yeah yah yeah, but if we got to like on
- 19:53Speaker 2: the rock, like we're not gonna say no to the roster,
- 19:54Speaker 2: but if we got it on like I think Triple
- 19:57Speaker 2: J might be a bit of rebuttal because that's the
- 19:59Speaker 2: music radio stay Friotple J's for Australian. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 2: well like where these ones are like shows.
- 20:05Speaker 1: And you know what, here's one thing in my rebuttal
- 20:08Speaker 1: to that if anyone's thinking that, I mean, I'm just
- 20:10Speaker 1: kind of being pessimistic.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Come on, man, optimism.
- 20:13Speaker 1: The only thing that I can say to someone that says,
- 20:16Speaker 1: you know, you go just use your platform, right is
- 20:20Speaker 1: we're gonna give the biggest shout out to the producer
- 20:22Speaker 1: that made us sound slightly good all right with what
- 20:24Speaker 1: he had and he is also an aspiring musician and producer.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah, if we get on, we're gonna plug him. So
- 20:30Speaker 2: we're yeah, we're gonna plug the shit out of him.
- 20:33Speaker 2: He deserves Toby Wells. Toby Wells, he's Toby Wells and
- 20:36Speaker 2: the cat Snatches. There you Yeah, here's the coolest band,
- 20:40Speaker 2: the Cat Snatchers. I'm so happy about how this is
- 20:44Speaker 2: turning out, even though we haven't gone on the radio.
- 20:46Speaker 2: It's about the journey, jake, not the end destination. Already, guys,
- 20:55Speaker 2: up next to is ig question of the week. But
- 20:58Speaker 2: before we do that little bit of house keeping, Patreon

- 21:31Speaker 2: it's basically free.
- 21:32Speaker 1: You get an extra episode every Thursday, and you get
- 21:34Speaker 1: the book club five days early on a Monday.
- 21:36Speaker 2: So yeah, and the community over there, the chats, the
- 21:39Speaker 2: comments are going crazy recently. Yeah, it's actually been pretty sick.
- 21:42Speaker 2: It's been sick to see and also, guys, the Facebook
- 21:46Speaker 2: group Relatables bad is unite on Facebook. Join post. You
- 21:52Speaker 2: can ask you to post it if you want, honestly, Yeah,

- 21:59Speaker 2: be going through the Facebook group page on our YouTube
- 22:03Speaker 2: show as just like a thing to connect with the baddies.
- 22:06Speaker 2: More Facebook reacts. But it's gonna be fun. Yeah, community building, Patreon,
- 22:11Speaker 2: Facebook five star, we love you all. Yeah, slow but
- 22:15Speaker 2: ig question of the week, Jake, this is something I
- 22:18Speaker 2: think you like love.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Yeah, are really looking forward to I am not gonna
- 22:23Speaker 1: lie game for this one.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Yeah. The IG question was hills you're willing to die on? Yeah?
- 22:27Speaker 2: What are you badies dying on? What's the hill you're
- 22:31Speaker 2: willing to die on? There were some good ones. I'm
- 22:33Speaker 2: not gonna lie. We know the hill where both willing
- 22:36Speaker 2: to die on? Is that girls and guys can't be
- 22:39Speaker 2: best friends? Emphasis on best Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 2: have you seen any effective heells I'm willing to die on.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Because you had one really good one where and where
- 22:49Speaker 1: it was there's a difference between hanging out.
- 22:51Speaker 2: In quality time?
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, girlfriend, And like heaps of people agreed, but you disagreed.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I disagreed, Yeah, in the time. And then I just
- 22:59Speaker 1: was like kind of reading comments and then I feel
- 23:02Speaker 1: like it's not that hard to put a label on it.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Let's let's make this quality time and put her phones away.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And I think sometimes you do need a label things.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Here's a hill I'm willing to die on. I think
- 23:13Speaker 2: it is necessary to ask her to be your girlfriend.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm on that hill. Yeah. I think that
- 23:20Speaker 2: because it's planned a flat, because it's will you be
- 23:24Speaker 2: my girlfriend? It's five words, Yeah, to make her a
- 23:27Speaker 2: hill I'm willing to die. And it's calling a day
- 23:28Speaker 2: to date. It's not a hangout. Yeah, we're going on
- 23:31Speaker 2: a data I like that. Yeah, there we go the
- 23:33Speaker 2: day of the date. Yeah, don't say let's hang out.
- 23:38Speaker 2: You're mean to go first? Yeah, you go, you go hills.
- 23:41Speaker 2: You're willing to die on a hill where men don't exist.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I don't think she quite got the question, but I
- 23:52Speaker 2: liked it still, that's yeah, yeah, straight to the point.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I see.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Okay, this one, this one's kind of facts. What's the
- 24:04Speaker 1: hell you're willing to die on? Women are better politicians
- 24:08Speaker 1: and country leaders. No war has been caused by a woman.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I like that. I hope that they did their research. Yeah,
- 24:19Speaker 2: and not just saying yeah, well I think so. I mean,
- 24:22Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised if there was been zero wars
- 24:25Speaker 2: caused by women. Oh yeah, I think I think the
- 24:28Speaker 2: world would be a completely better place if it was
- 24:31Speaker 2: run by women, for sure. I can't argue that we've
- 24:35Speaker 2: had a we had a women prime minister. Yeah. What
- 24:38Speaker 2: was her name again? Julia Gillard? Julia Can I'm good? Yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 2: where that come from? Man? You are good? Well. I
- 24:48Speaker 2: can think of when I think of prime ministers is
- 24:50Speaker 2: Kevin Rudd when he was planned handball and he fell over.
- 24:54Speaker 2: You know what. The only another thing I think about
- 24:56Speaker 2: with prime ministers. For some reason, Tony Abbott comes to
- 25:01Speaker 2: my head. Maybe I don't think he was prime minister
- 25:04Speaker 2: for very long now, No, it was only like one thing.
- 25:07Speaker 2: I don't really know how he didn't do a full term,
- 25:09Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure, and for some reason, like The reason.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Is because he was mad into surf life saving I think.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Oh and there was just for so many photos of
- 25:17Speaker 1: him just in budgy smugglers and a cat.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Good on him doing swim. Well, what's the Prime minister? Now?
- 25:21Speaker 2: How much we know about Albanisi? He bought a house
- 25:24Speaker 2: at Copa, which is literally five minutes from where we're
- 25:26Speaker 2: recording right now. Yeah, it was pretty funny.
- 25:29Speaker 1: And for some reason there was this big kind of
- 25:33Speaker 1: thing about how expensive the house was.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Oh. Yeah, well he's a baller. He's also you know,
- 25:38Speaker 2: he's fixing all the man roads near where we live
- 25:40Speaker 2: to get to his house. That's why that is? Who
- 25:43Speaker 2: told you that? Because that is so not for Daily Mail.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I mean the same people that wrote an article about me. Yeah.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I don't know, mate. Look it's like yellow taxi theory.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Start looking at the roads and it's all from colors
- 25:56Speaker 2: to a vocal drive. Yeah, all the way the main
- 25:58Speaker 2: road to his house. Here's the thing though, right, so
- 26:03Speaker 2: I think about how slow councils are. Yeah, okay, it's
- 26:08Speaker 2: coming from the big doc man. Think about how slow
- 26:11Speaker 2: counsels are and how slow our council in particular is. Yeah,
- 26:16Speaker 2: that would have been proposed ten years ago. Oh yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 2: this guy bought a house last year. No way they're
- 26:23Speaker 2: doing this for our council. Censer Coast Cancer Council is
- 26:25Speaker 2: the most in debt council in all of Australia, the
- 26:28Speaker 2: most corrupt. Weally one hundred and ten million dollars in
- 26:31Speaker 2: debt for like the Markers, we're corrupt. Bro oh right.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I think I might agree with this one. Hills you're
- 26:39Speaker 2: willing to die on airlines should disclose where kids are sitting.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Screw privacy, stay away from me facts. When you're logging
- 26:48Speaker 2: your seats online, it says okay for a little kid
- 26:51Speaker 2: or you know how there's so there's first class, business, class,
- 26:57Speaker 2: premium economy, we've said, and then there's a economy, and
- 27:00Speaker 2: then usually there's like so there's economy, some bathrooms, and
- 27:04Speaker 2: then another last cabin of economy. I think one cabin
- 27:08Speaker 2: should be dedicated where you can choose if you have kids.
- 27:11Speaker 2: The only bad thing about that is like imagine they
- 27:13Speaker 2: run out of seats and then you're fully in the
- 27:15Speaker 2: kids section, and it is it is what it is.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Say that's the yeah, yeah, that's the nature of the beast.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I think that's the nature of the beast, and Right
- 27:23Speaker 2: Air or jet Star should do something like that. The
- 27:25Speaker 2: budget airlines what I mean, Hey, they love controversy like
- 27:32Speaker 2: Right Air especially right What is a hill you're willing
- 27:37Speaker 2: to die on? Men are fucking dumb. Men are fucking
- 27:43Speaker 2: dumb when it comes to social relationships, meaning social relationships
- 27:49Speaker 2: like online, I guess interesting like how to go about it?
- 27:53Speaker 2: I think I think it just being like hills I'm
- 27:54Speaker 2: willing to die on? Men are fucking dumb. Pause period,
- 27:59Speaker 2: Stop right there, Men they're just fucking Yeah. I agree
- 28:02Speaker 2: with that bit. I no, I can't argue with that.
- 28:04Speaker 2: But when it comes to social relationships social situations, I'm dumb,
- 28:08Speaker 2: Like I can admit that. I wonder if that means
- 28:11Speaker 2: if they just think that men are done because they
- 28:13Speaker 2: maybe she's implying like how they flirt online and reading
- 28:15Speaker 2: between the lines, like dudes can't do that at all
- 28:17Speaker 2: social relationships, Like she's saying, come over me. He's like,
- 28:20Speaker 2: I don't know what to do. Or maybe she's saying
- 28:22Speaker 2: because social social relationship would be no, like zero sexual
- 28:26Speaker 2: relationship or zero romance or something. Maybe, but men always
- 28:30Speaker 2: think that there is yeah maybe lines let y, yeah,
- 28:36Speaker 2: all right, hills you're willing to die on, and I
- 28:39Speaker 2: stand on this hill. Marcha is fucking disgusting and tastes
- 28:43Speaker 2: like pond water. It tastes like grass. It tastes like that.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Oh my god, its like grass. Every single time Beth
- 28:51Speaker 2: gets a march and you want something, you want something,
- 28:52Speaker 2: you want some No, I'm all good, I know it.
- 28:54Speaker 2: And the flavor laughs. We go to this place in Bondi.
- 29:00Speaker 2: It's called Harry's. It's renowned for its march, the canned marcher.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Beth says that marcher tastes great.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Okay, now, I'm pretty sure the reason it tastes great
- 29:09Speaker 1: is because it's five percent marcher, the rest blueberry, the
- 29:13Speaker 1: rest strawberry, whatever flavor you get, all right, now, that's why.
- 29:16Speaker 2: It tastes good. Every other place Beth has got a marcher. Gross,
- 29:20Speaker 2: this is not a good marcher. I'm pretty sure that's
- 29:23Speaker 2: just marcher. Yeah. And what you're getting from Harry's it's
- 29:25Speaker 2: not marcher. I think it's because it looks cool. People
- 29:29Speaker 2: are doing it for the look. Is it a foot
- 29:31Speaker 2: it's just sugar. Yeah, I'm pretty sure this it tastes
- 29:36Speaker 2: like the blueberry ones there are the syrupy sugar. It
- 29:39Speaker 2: tastes like if I mowed the lawn. Yeah, I used
- 29:42Speaker 2: to mow lawn. It tastes like the smell of mowing.
- 29:44Speaker 2: MANE got the clippings and brooded in a tea and
- 29:48Speaker 2: tastes bast terrible.
- 29:54Speaker 1: That is a good one, though. Okay, what the hell
- 29:57Speaker 1: you're willing to die on? You should be able to
- 29:59Speaker 1: sleep a different room to your partner if you want space, yes,
- 30:03Speaker 1: just in general, if you.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Have the room. Oh yeah, if you have the room,
- 30:07Speaker 2: I reckon. You should convert your little office into like
- 30:11Speaker 2: a spare single bed and move your office. I've been
- 30:13Speaker 2: trying to think about how to fit it in there.
- 30:17Speaker 2: I just don't know. This is your roommate. Listen to
- 30:19Speaker 2: the pod. No kick her out? All right, hells you're
- 30:28Speaker 2: willing to die on? Men could never birth a baby? Facts?
- 30:33Speaker 2: Are you kidding? God gave its strongest soldiers the hardest challenge,
- 30:37Speaker 2: and that's women. Yeah, I'm selling like appreciative of that.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Like what they go through is insane, like I remember,
- 30:44Speaker 2: but it's literally insane. All this chat about from men
- 30:49Speaker 2: saying it takes two to make a kid cool, Who's
- 30:52Speaker 2: saying that or you did. Who's saying that? Okay, okay, okay,
- 30:56Speaker 2: This is like saying, so let's say I plant a
- 30:59Speaker 2: flat Yeah all right, but who's watering it? I put
- 31:03Speaker 2: some fertilizer on it. The earth and the flower are
- 31:07Speaker 2: doing all the work. And then like, that's like me
- 31:10Speaker 2: saying without me, without me, are you serious?
- 31:14Speaker 4: Broke? Women grow a human being with a brain, eyeballs, teeth,
- 31:21Speaker 4: a skull, a heart that beats blood in their stomachus.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and technical term push it out there? Would you not? Crazy? Yeah? Crazy?
- 31:36Speaker 2: I don't know how someone couldn't appreciate that, but yeah,
- 31:38Speaker 2: I'm telling you they get. God gave its hardest challenge
- 31:41Speaker 2: to its strongest soldiers. My girlfriend's quiet teach. She's five
- 31:44Speaker 2: foot three, she's so devo and twins running my family
- 31:48Speaker 2: and it missed me. And I love the joke, like saying,
- 31:51Speaker 2: she's just treading it. She's like, if I have twins,
- 31:53Speaker 2: I might diet explode. She's not a big person. You'd
- 31:56Speaker 2: be surprised that the human body can. Yeah. Yeah, I
- 32:04Speaker 2: just like to play on imagine too. Imagine like one's crazy,
- 32:08Speaker 2: and imagine two things growing in there that's crazy. Imagine
- 32:11Speaker 2: triplets Oh, the body is capable of crazy things. My
- 32:14Speaker 2: biggest fear is having two kids, right, and then going,
- 32:18Speaker 2: you know what, I do want a third? And then
- 32:20Speaker 2: it's and then it's twins. Yeah, and so now you've
- 32:22Speaker 2: got four twins? Are your stepmom mate step mom? Yeah?
- 32:27Speaker 2: So when I'm not blood related at all, and so
- 32:29Speaker 2: I have I don't think I have any because my
- 32:31Speaker 2: mum's a twin. Yeah, what the hell you're willing to
- 32:34Speaker 2: die on? People who say expresso instead of espresso should
- 32:40Speaker 2: pay a fine Expresso that this one grinds my gears.
- 32:44Speaker 2: I don't drink coffee and I say that you say
- 32:46Speaker 2: expresso express. That's insane, that one drinking though. It's like
- 32:50Speaker 2: when people say Pacific instead of specific. It grinds my y.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Brought instead of bought. That one's kisses me off. I'm
- 33:01Speaker 2: glad that pisses you off, because if it didn't, I
- 33:02Speaker 2: would have walked out there. I brought a new TV. No,
- 33:07Speaker 2: where'd you bring it from?
- 33:08Speaker 1: I saw something I saw fuck it a TikTok video
- 33:13Speaker 1: and it was a girl and she wrote on the.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Screen how she wrote blah blah blah blah blah, like
- 33:19Speaker 2: I brought him as in that she bought him. She
- 33:23Speaker 2: spelt it as broad. Yeah, so that means she genuinely
- 33:26Speaker 2: thinks the word is broad and not bought. And I
- 33:31Speaker 2: want to know what school she went to so I
- 33:33Speaker 2: can shut it down. I feel like they're there and there.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I will give a little bit of lenience. They're there
- 33:42Speaker 2: there one d confusing thing. Ever, Also, if you spell yo,
- 33:47Speaker 2: you are, but what but you meant you are, I'll
- 33:50Speaker 2: give you that as well. You're in a rush, that's fine,
- 33:53Speaker 2: I know what you mean. Yeah, but if you say
- 33:56Speaker 2: broad instead of bought, I'm going to pull you up
- 33:58Speaker 2: on it every time. Yeah. And if I don't pull
- 34:00Speaker 2: you up on it, just know that our friendship has
- 34:02Speaker 2: been ruined at that single moment and we're never talking
- 34:05Speaker 2: to you again after this conversation. So specific of you, oh,
- 34:10Speaker 2: specific and specific alright, here's me. Yeah, okay, this one's
- 34:15Speaker 2: interesting and I agree Hill's you're willing to die on.
- 34:18Speaker 2: A good man is an average woman, doesn't smoke or drink, works,
- 34:23Speaker 2: takes care of the family, et cetera. Very eye opening.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Say again, a good man is an average woman. It
- 34:32Speaker 2: doesn't smoke or drink like that's the expectation of a
- 34:35Speaker 2: good man doesn't smoke or drink, works and takes care
- 34:38Speaker 2: of the family, et cetera. Yeah, no, bare minimum needs
- 34:40Speaker 2: be brought up. Yeah wow, bare minimum for the modern man.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Yeah down, I like that a lot.
- 34:48Speaker 1: What's who you're willing to die on? One direction of
- 34:52Speaker 1: the greatest band our generation we'll ever see and no
- 34:55Speaker 1: one will ever compare one deeper life direct uh recipes Liam?
- 35:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but a one direction reunion in Liam's honor? Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 35:05Speaker 2: yes Styles, Oh yeah, Hary. I always forget he's in
- 35:10Speaker 2: it because he's made his own career. Louis Tomlinson zaying
- 35:13Speaker 2: Harry Styles, the blonde one's name is you would be
- 35:18Speaker 2: a great girl, dad, because you get so invested in
- 35:21Speaker 2: Like I still like him and appreciate it, but I
- 35:23Speaker 2: just don't get invested. What's the blonde one's name? I
- 35:26Speaker 2: don't know. You ask him the wrong person, Harry, Louis
- 35:32Speaker 2: Liam passed away, blondey not. My first girlfriend's favorite one
- 35:37Speaker 2: was a blonde one and I remember it. What are
- 35:38Speaker 2: you thinking about her? Because she had a weird obsession
- 35:41Speaker 2: with him her room and it's just like a poster
- 35:44Speaker 2: forget if they fun no horrent, You're the man. You're
- 35:49Speaker 2: the man.
- 35:50Speaker 1: What the hell you're willing to die on that? Amarantha
- 35:54Speaker 1: and Tamlin were mates. No one can change my mind.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Oh but why wouldn't he sleep with her or pick her?
- 36:05Speaker 2: We're finding out mates are just given out like this
- 36:07Speaker 2: in the book. They're not as important as they make it. Yeah, mates,
- 36:11Speaker 2: you're one mate, she's mine. He didn't. He just doesn't
- 36:14Speaker 2: want to be her mate. Yeah, well, Favor is hotter,
- 36:19Speaker 2: but also she isn't a genocidal maniac. Yeah, but TAM's
- 36:24Speaker 2: a bit. Craig Gray, Yeah, was crazy also, To be fair,
- 36:29Speaker 2: both manipulates. Maybe maybe he didn't really know they were mates,
- 36:33Speaker 2: or he didn't want to accept it, but he was
- 36:35Speaker 2: more than happy to be her little pet under the
- 36:37Speaker 2: mountain and do nothing to try and say Favor off
- 36:40Speaker 2: his powers manned, they were diminished.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Risk your life for the risk your life for the
- 36:46Speaker 1: one you love. Quotations By the way, audience listening not
- 36:49Speaker 1: watching book.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Club, plug already my last one, and this one's a
- 36:54Speaker 2: good one to finish on hills you're willing to die on?
- 36:57Speaker 2: Sorry without change is manipulation? Oh damn you, I was
- 37:08Speaker 2: going with you do it? Sorry with that change is manipulation. Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 2: it's like you're saying so because that's what you want
- 37:14Speaker 2: to hear, that's what the person wants to hear, but
- 37:16Speaker 2: you don't do anything to change them. I'm it's like,
- 37:19Speaker 2: I'm sorry I cheated on you, then you continue the
- 37:22Speaker 2: cheat easy example.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Obviously, Hey, maybe the person was actually feeling sorry that
- 37:27Speaker 1: they cheated but couldn't help him.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I'm kidding, ding kidding. I like it.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Okay, I I got a few more, but I'm gonna
- 37:35Speaker 1: choose one.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Here's the best. Let me just ah, I got some
- 37:44Speaker 2: good ones.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I'm going to smash these out, So I'm just going
- 37:46Speaker 1: to do a couple. What's the hell you're willing to
- 37:47Speaker 1: die on? Men's bathrooms do not need to be the
- 37:49Speaker 1: same size as women's bathrooms. Certainly can't argue with that.
- 37:52Speaker 2: That was it bigger.
- 37:58Speaker 1: What's the hell you willing to die on? Men get
- 37:59Speaker 1: sensitive about their height, which is the reason it matters
- 38:01Speaker 1: to some women.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Oh I never thought of that, neither. What's how you're
- 38:06Speaker 2: willing to die on? If a man bangs on about
- 38:08Speaker 2: his toxic X, he's probably a toxic one. But we
- 38:10Speaker 2: know that two more. If a man what the hell
- 38:12Speaker 2: you're wanting to die on. Women should yell at men more? Okay, sure,
- 38:16Speaker 2: I mean if you want to, what's who you're willing
- 38:19Speaker 2: to die on? Men should start in jail? What should
- 38:25Speaker 2: Men should start in jail and work their way out
- 38:27Speaker 2: like monopoly, three rounds of dice. You're born in jail.
- 38:31Speaker 2: You just gotta work your way out. We have proved
- 38:32Speaker 2: you that you're you're a nice guy. You go into society,
- 38:36Speaker 2: letting prove without mal intent. As soon as you turn eighteen,
- 38:41Speaker 2: you get like three years going to work your way
- 38:45Speaker 2: out of here. Facts, bro, turn eighteen, three weeks in jail.
- 38:49Speaker 2: All right, prove to us you have no mal intent. Yeah,
- 38:52Speaker 2: you're not toxic. Yeah, I said what many wouldn't get out.
- 38:56Speaker 2: That's exactly why you should do it. Exactly why you
- 38:59Speaker 2: should do it. Yeah, okay, that was interesting, batties. It
- 39:10Speaker 2: is time for dilemmas. If you would like to send
- 39:13Speaker 2: in a dilemma for us to help you out with,
- 39:16Speaker 2: it will be linked in the description of this video,
- 39:20Speaker 2: or it will be in the link in our Instagram bio.
- 39:23Speaker 2: And it's all anonymous completely. Sure, there's an option to
- 39:26Speaker 2: say don't be anonymous, but we fucked up and it's
- 39:30Speaker 2: all anonymous. Anyways, that was me. It doesn't matter. Yeah,
- 39:34Speaker 2: I think so too. Okay. My partner and I have
- 39:38Speaker 2: been together ten months. He's been absolutely lovely and had
- 39:42Speaker 2: no doubts about this man since I met him. For context,
- 39:46Speaker 2: very much a giving person and acts of service is
- 39:48Speaker 2: his love language. We'll run a bath and pour me
- 39:51Speaker 2: a wine when I get to his without asking. Oh. However,
- 39:56Speaker 2: it took him a long time to say I love you,
- 39:59Speaker 2: and I had questioned it a few weeks ago because
- 40:02Speaker 2: there was something in my gut saying something wasn't right.
- 40:07Speaker 2: He told me that he loved me, but was not
- 40:10Speaker 2: in love with me. I asked him what he meant.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I asked him what he meant by that, because to me,
- 40:21Speaker 1: that makes me feel like I'm just a placeholder and
- 40:23Speaker 1: he is waiting for the right person. He couldn't really
- 40:26Speaker 1: give me an answer as to what he meant, and
- 40:28Speaker 1: I'm still very confused.
- 40:30Speaker 2: He says he still wants to.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Keep going with our relationship, but I have a lot
- 40:34Speaker 1: of doubt creeping in. Should I cut my losses seeing
- 40:37Speaker 1: as it's early on, or is it worth sticking it out?
- 40:40Speaker 2: Say it again? The love thing. He loves me, but
- 40:46Speaker 2: he's not in love with me. That means absolutely nothing.
- 40:50Speaker 2: That's a crazy thing to say. Also, oh it hurts me. Also,
- 40:55Speaker 2: is there a difference between loving someone and being I mean,
- 40:59Speaker 2: I love you, but I'm in love with Beth? He's
- 41:02Speaker 2: saying something to keep her there. He's saying what she
- 41:06Speaker 2: wants to hear. Kind of Yeah, he's as saying nothing.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Man woy like to say, I'm not ready to say
- 41:14Speaker 2: I love you yet, and she can deal with that
- 41:16Speaker 2: as she wants. Things men do to try and hide
- 41:20Speaker 2: their toxicity. M They'll say I love you, but I'm
- 41:24Speaker 2: not in love with you. Is the craziest statement ever,
- 41:28Speaker 2: as grin as my years. Who's saying this and getting
- 41:30Speaker 2: away with girl fuck him off? Eight Even this guy's
- 41:35Speaker 2: just not mature enough to like say that I'm not
- 41:37Speaker 2: in love with you or yeah, I think that's what
- 41:39Speaker 2: it is. He doesn't want to hurt your feelings. I mean, yeah,
- 41:43Speaker 2: I reckon, I think that I don't. I just feel
- 41:49Speaker 2: like there's no You should have walked out as soon
- 41:53Speaker 2: as he said it. You should have because I think
- 41:56Speaker 2: the other solution he could have had is had conversation
- 42:01Speaker 2: and said, look that you don't know if you love
- 42:03Speaker 2: them yet, but don't say I love you, but I'm
- 42:05Speaker 2: not in love with you. Because he say nothing, say
- 42:07Speaker 2: I'm not ready to say it yet. So because I
- 42:09Speaker 2: believe with the timeline wise they have been saying I
- 42:13Speaker 2: love you. And then she just asked one day a
- 42:16Speaker 2: few weeks ago, like, oh, I think she just asked,
- 42:20Speaker 2: how come it took you so long to say it?
- 42:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and then he said, ah, because I love you,
- 42:24Speaker 1: but I'm not in love with you?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Fuck off? A Yeah, I just I think you should
- 42:28Speaker 2: cut your losses. That word that, those three words I
- 42:32Speaker 2: love you, holds so much value in a relationship. That's
- 42:35Speaker 2: like the strongest emotion anyone can have. He's playing with that.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Let me I know in love? Fuck off? Stupid? No,
- 42:43Speaker 2: I agree, Yeah, I think that also the part where
- 42:47Speaker 2: she says that she has a bad feeling in her gut,
- 42:48Speaker 2: trust that thing should be the best advice you've ever
- 42:51Speaker 2: gotten from your own gut. Yeah, it doesn't feel good
- 42:53Speaker 2: in there. Your gut knows something your brain can't comprehend. Hey,
- 42:57Speaker 2: gut nos, Yeah, it's weird. Yeah, people talk about feelings.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Trust it. Your gut's telling you something. Don't confuse it
- 43:04Speaker 2: with nerves. But your gut's telling you something.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I think, yeah, in this scenario, like I don't know,
- 43:08Speaker 1: if you were to go on a roller coaster and
- 43:10Speaker 1: your guts like this is gonna fucking crash.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Maybe ignore your gut. Then we like glass half full
- 43:15Speaker 2: situations like cut your ties if you want to. And
- 43:19Speaker 2: it's only ten months. It's not like it's three yearsy
- 43:21Speaker 2: in and he's saying that shit. Yeah yeah, Like ten
- 43:23Speaker 2: months is like it's an okay amount of time to
- 43:26Speaker 2: see someone, figure out if you like him or not,
- 43:29Speaker 2: or if I'm in love with you, and be like, bitch,
- 43:30Speaker 2: figure out yourself. I'm moving on. Like yeah, honestly, sorry,
- 43:34Speaker 2: that's happening to you. Yeah, I say, sad, How should
- 43:38Speaker 2: how should she break up with him? I don't know,
- 43:42Speaker 2: I reckon, Just don't jump straight to break up. Be
- 43:45Speaker 2: like this isn't good enough, man, I think jump straight
- 43:48Speaker 2: and breakup. See what we have to say. I like
- 43:50Speaker 2: to put him in his place before you break up
- 43:52Speaker 2: with him now, but put him in his place with
- 43:54Speaker 2: the breakup true true maybe yeah, yeah, get out of him,
- 43:57Speaker 2: like what the fuck do you mean, dude, and then
- 43:58Speaker 2: break up of him like this isn't on? Yeah, breakup
- 44:03Speaker 2: bringing what is the best way to toxically break up
- 44:06Speaker 2: some Obviously, there's the healthy wag want to be Oh yeah,
- 44:09Speaker 2: this guy's a dog. We don't like him. Okay. Text
- 44:15Speaker 2: text is crazy, We're done. Text is absolutely insane. Well
- 44:19Speaker 2: he said that, that's insane. I'm trying to think of
- 44:23Speaker 2: a way right for her to get him to say
- 44:30Speaker 2: I am in love with you and her go to
- 44:33Speaker 2: little too late. Yeah, so okay, what's that Birdie song?
- 44:38Speaker 2: You only know your lover when you let her go facts.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Block him on everything, just straight up without even telling him.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Just act like everything's fine. Block him on everything, and
- 44:52Speaker 2: then see what sort of effort he goes to to
- 44:56Speaker 2: get in contact with you. And yeah, I don't know,
- 45:01Speaker 2: I reckon. Just go and just wait to see what
- 45:03Speaker 2: he says next time you're with him and you're leaving
- 45:05Speaker 2: just like, oh, by the way, I've had a realization
- 45:08Speaker 2: you're not good enough for me, and you're not doing
- 45:11Speaker 2: the bare minimum someone should do in a relationship.
- 45:13Speaker 1: It sounds like, oh, well true, I was gonna say.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Sounds like he does a lot of really good things,
- 45:17Speaker 1: but there's this one thing but this one thing's insane.
- 45:19Speaker 2: He is insane. I don't think he has the emotional
- 45:22Speaker 2: maturity to be in a relationship to say something like that.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I would actually like you to dump him, And I
- 45:27Speaker 1: would also like you to put an update in the dilemmas.
- 45:30Speaker 2: And titled update I die dumped him. Yeah, all caps,
- 45:35Speaker 2: titled the update I dumped him and put it in
- 45:38Speaker 2: the dilemmas. Yeah. I've always been very conscious of like
- 45:42Speaker 2: who I say I love you too, and when I
- 45:45Speaker 2: say it and I actually want to feel it. Yeah. Yeah,
- 45:48Speaker 2: I feel like some guys really do throw thinking about
- 45:51Speaker 2: some of our friends, dude do say it just to
- 45:54Speaker 2: like say it and make their partner happy when they
- 45:57Speaker 2: don't actually feel it, which is terrible sometimes, I think. Men,
- 46:02Speaker 2: let's say it's been a while and your girlfriend that
- 46:07Speaker 2: you've been with for a little while, you haven't said
- 46:08Speaker 2: I love you yet.
- 46:10Speaker 1: She does ask, right, she does, just maybe talk about
- 46:14Speaker 1: love or something, and you're just a little too afraid
- 46:19Speaker 1: to say, I'm I'm very happy.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Yeah that's what he should say, I'm very very happy.
- 46:26Speaker 2: But I don't want to. I don't want to say
- 46:28Speaker 2: something that I don't want hundred percent mean Okay, that's
- 46:31Speaker 2: exactly what we should do, and I don't. I don't,
- 46:33Speaker 2: but also don't say like I can see myself falling
- 46:36Speaker 2: over you, because that's giving a false hope. Right. Yeah,
- 46:38Speaker 2: So I think if even though it's been a little while, like,
- 46:41Speaker 2: is there a cutoff? You know? I feel like if
- 46:43Speaker 2: you've been together for a year and she says, what
- 46:45Speaker 2: about this love? I think the cutoff is individualized. Okay, yeah,
- 46:48Speaker 2: because like some people want to be asked to be
- 46:50Speaker 2: their girlfriend after a month, Some'm like three months, some
- 46:52Speaker 2: like six. Like I think it's unique to the person.
- 46:54Speaker 1: No, I think asking to be girlfriend definitely, But is
- 46:57Speaker 1: there is there an amount of time where you are
- 46:59Speaker 1: like if it's some I should know, Like I kind
- 47:02Speaker 1: of I don't know if there's a hot take or not.
- 47:04Speaker 2: I feel like you kind of know within Because here's
- 47:08Speaker 2: the thing is, you can you can fall in love
- 47:09Speaker 2: with someone even though you don't fully know them yet. Yeah,
- 47:13Speaker 2: it's fine. You learn a lot about someone in six months,
- 47:15Speaker 2: or you learn a lot about someone in four months
- 47:17Speaker 2: when you start dating and you spend so much time
- 47:19Speaker 2: with them. Yeah, well it's interesting though. So we date,
- 47:23Speaker 2: we date, and we see that woman as potentially being
- 47:26Speaker 2: O forever person to get married to him. Some people
- 47:28Speaker 2: date to date, yeah, like they become boyfriend and girlfriend
- 47:32Speaker 2: and he especially dudes just date and they don't see
- 47:36Speaker 2: that any thing, whereas we only date with I'm not
- 47:38Speaker 2: going to date someone I don't want to or potentially
- 47:40Speaker 2: think I can marry like that. I look at it
- 47:43Speaker 2: more of a yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah we got When
- 47:46Speaker 2: I started dating my girlfriend, like very early on, I
- 47:49Speaker 2: knew like I could fall in love with you soon.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeahah yeah, whereas some dudes like, oh I'm
- 47:55Speaker 2: dating you, yeah maybe maybe I don't know. I reckon
- 47:58Speaker 2: I'm going to say something crazy. I think there should
- 48:01Speaker 2: be a cutoff for how long it takes him to
- 48:02Speaker 2: say I love you. And also here's the thing, you know,
- 48:07Speaker 2: I think if you a man should ask the girl
- 48:11Speaker 2: to be his girlfriend. Right, if you want to ask
- 48:13Speaker 2: him to be a boyfriend, by all means to go
- 48:15Speaker 2: for it. But I mean, I'm more than happy to
- 48:17Speaker 2: say that. I think the guy should ask the girl.
- 48:20Speaker 2: But when it comes to I love you, I don't
- 48:22Speaker 2: think that any gender has more of a role. No, no,
- 48:25Speaker 2: and who says it first? But if you say I
- 48:28Speaker 2: love you, and he doesn't love you yet, should you
- 48:34Speaker 2: break up? Maybe? Also, like I don't know, this might
- 48:37Speaker 2: be slightly philosophical. Might be the verb you can see
- 48:41Speaker 2: in someone's eyes if they love you or not. You
- 48:44Speaker 2: really can, like you know, like you can see it
- 48:47Speaker 2: even live like your parents. You can see the love
- 48:50Speaker 2: a relationship. You can see it way more in a
- 48:52Speaker 2: relationship if that person does love you. When you're having
- 48:54Speaker 2: those conversations on a day, you can see if there's
- 48:56Speaker 2: love in your eyes. And if you can't see that,
- 48:58Speaker 2: which I think you probably can't see, yeah, fuck him off. Yeah,
- 49:01Speaker 2: go with your gun. Yeah that's what your gut knows,
- 49:03Speaker 2: that feeling, but you don't want to accept it. I
- 49:05Speaker 2: think that's what helped because you kind of have to
- 49:06Speaker 2: go to a breakouts so scary. That's relateable. Yeah, through
- 49:09Speaker 2: breaksleft for shit? Shit all right? Up next is my
- 49:12Speaker 2: dilemma title? Am I being selfish? Or is he? Hey, guys,
- 49:17Speaker 2: I am in desperate need of your help and advice asap.
- 49:21Speaker 2: My boyfriend and I have been dating for nearly a
- 49:23Speaker 2: year now and have been friends for about five years
- 49:26Speaker 2: before we started dating, and early on into our relationship,
- 49:29Speaker 2: my boyfriend had told me he was moving to the
- 49:31Speaker 2: Netherlands in exchange for hockey for nine months with his friends.
- 49:35Speaker 2: I made it very clear to him that I was
- 49:38Speaker 2: not interested in committing to a long distance relationship due
- 49:41Speaker 2: to past trauma with my father in Brackets, which I
- 49:45Speaker 2: openly told him how much this all affects me. I
- 49:48Speaker 2: suggested we end things and at that point so we
- 49:50Speaker 2: both didn't get hurt. He then a few weeks later
- 49:53Speaker 2: told me he has decided to defer going away by
- 49:56Speaker 2: a year so we could both finish our degrees. I
- 49:59Speaker 2: am studying nursing and very much want to work in
- 50:01Speaker 2: the UK for experience, and also can work in Europe,
- 50:04Speaker 2: but have to do a special course beforehand. So by
- 50:07Speaker 2: him deferring leaving had meant I could either move with
- 50:11Speaker 2: him or had the ability to visit him, as I
- 50:13Speaker 2: don't until I graduate at the end of this year,
- 50:16Speaker 2: and with nursing I have full time prack and must
- 50:19Speaker 2: attend all my classes. In Brackets, I have no life.
- 50:23Speaker 2: See now this takes us to the present. Two nights ago,
- 50:26Speaker 2: in my bed, my boyfriend randomly blurted out that he's
- 50:29Speaker 2: still going to the Netherlands and he's moving in September.
- 50:34Speaker 2: This was all quite a shock to me, and I
- 50:35Speaker 2: felt quite upset. We further spoke about it the following day,
- 50:38Speaker 2: and turns out he had dropped one of his units
- 50:40Speaker 2: at UNI weeks ago, which was his prack units, as
- 50:44Speaker 2: he knew he wouldn't be able to attend his prack.
- 50:46Speaker 2: I had been asking about his prack units, and he
- 50:48Speaker 2: knew he wouldn't be able to attend his prack because
- 50:50Speaker 2: he dropped out. And I had been asking him when
- 50:53Speaker 2: he was starting, and getting him ready and helping him
- 50:55Speaker 2: and all that business, but he'd just been lying to me.
- 50:58Speaker 2: I had also been trying to book a holiday and
- 51:01Speaker 2: he had an excuse not to go. He had excuses
- 51:03Speaker 2: not to go, which overall felt like he didn't want
- 51:05Speaker 2: to experience traveling with me to these places. But turns
- 51:08Speaker 2: out he just knew he wasn't going to be here
- 51:10Speaker 2: for the holidays. I don't know how I feel about
- 51:13Speaker 2: this at this point. I know how much hockey means
- 51:15Speaker 2: to him, but he used to live in Ireland with
- 51:18Speaker 2: his friends for hockey. I don't know if I'm being
- 51:20Speaker 2: selfish thinking he has already made and had these experiences
- 51:23Speaker 2: with hockey. But I don't want to hold him back.
- 51:26Speaker 2: He went away for a month at the beginning of
- 51:27Speaker 2: the year to Japan when I was on prack and
- 51:29Speaker 2: it was extremely hard. So I feel like I already
- 51:31Speaker 2: know how I feel while he's going to be away,
- 51:33Speaker 2: and I question what will happen if I want to
- 51:36Speaker 2: move to the UK after my grade program. Is it
- 51:38Speaker 2: wrong for me to ask him to stay? Am I
- 51:40Speaker 2: being selfish for wanting him to stay and support me?
- 51:43Speaker 2: Or is he being selfish after I set boundaries at
- 51:45Speaker 2: the beginning of our relationship? Why do I feel so
- 51:48Speaker 2: sad and betrayed for him doing something he wants to do? Who? There? Okay?
- 51:56Speaker 2: I think that this is a crazy valid And the
- 52:03Speaker 2: reason I say valid is because the way she says
- 52:06Speaker 2: she feels at the end is so she said, I
- 52:10Speaker 2: want him to stay, but I also want to support him.
- 52:13Speaker 1: I wanted to do it, he wants to, Like, why
- 52:14Speaker 1: do I not want him to do something that he
- 52:16Speaker 1: wants to do. That's such a valid thing, right, yeah,
- 52:19Speaker 1: because she would be feeling so so torn?
- 52:22Speaker 2: But big butt? But the biggest thing here is at
- 52:32Speaker 2: the start of the relationship, you said I'm not doing
- 52:35Speaker 2: long distance, bro, I'm not doing it. You told him why,
- 52:38Speaker 2: it's everything right.
- 52:40Speaker 1: And so plans were made where you wouldn't have to
- 52:45Speaker 1: and then he decided to change those plans without telling
- 52:52Speaker 1: you for weeks and then he just drops it like,
- 52:57Speaker 1: oh yeah, I'm actually going.
- 53:00Speaker 2: That's crazy. This is manipulation at its core. So you
- 53:06Speaker 2: have a valid reason to leave him. Yeah, okay, you
- 53:08Speaker 2: have a valid reason to feel what you're feeling. You
- 53:11Speaker 2: have a valid reason to feel the way you're feeling.
- 53:13Speaker 2: You have a valid reason to leave him. But here's
- 53:16Speaker 2: the situation, and here's the cards you have been dealt.
- 53:19Speaker 2: He's going, Okay, you need to make a choice of
- 53:23Speaker 2: whether or not you want to be with him. Obviously,
- 53:25Speaker 2: if you stay with him, you're allowed to be mad
- 53:27Speaker 2: at him. But the fuck I need to know, Like
- 53:32Speaker 2: what he is saying in this situation. Is he saying,
- 53:36Speaker 2: why are you supporting me with what I want to do?
- 53:38Speaker 1: Is he the one that's making her feel this way?
- 53:40Speaker 1: Because if so, you guys are not right for each
- 53:43Speaker 1: other because he doesn't care about you at all.
- 53:45Speaker 2: I think he doesn't care about her at all. In
- 53:47Speaker 2: the fact that he's just molded this situation to work
- 53:49Speaker 2: around him, and he's manipulated the situation to work around
- 53:53Speaker 2: his life and doesn't care about the repercussions of him
- 53:56Speaker 2: going to have fun playing hockey while her feelings are
- 53:58Speaker 2: going to be really say, missing him, and he doesn't
- 54:01Speaker 2: really care. I think that's really toxic, and that's just
- 54:04Speaker 2: like a kick in the guts. But it's also like, yeah,
- 54:06Speaker 2: fuck you, I don't think I should be with you.
- 54:09Speaker 2: You didn't appreciate what I said at the start, being
- 54:11Speaker 2: open about how I feel about long distance, And he's
- 54:13Speaker 2: probably just like in the back of his head, Oh, yeah,
- 54:15Speaker 2: it'll be right, he'll be right, he'll be right. Nah,
- 54:17Speaker 2: it's right. Yeah, it's not right at all. I think
- 54:20Speaker 2: it's terribly toxic. And like, although like it might be
- 54:23Speaker 2: hard to see it his manipulation, it definitely is and
- 54:26Speaker 2: he's probably not giving him an excuse by any means.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Maybe done it unconsciously, but he's still done it. He's
- 54:32Speaker 2: the thing, right, if someone manipulates you unconsciously, I think
- 54:40Speaker 2: that even though they didn't mean to do it, they're
- 54:44Speaker 2: just a manipulating person. That yeah, they're just a manipulative person.
- 54:50Speaker 2: And so that's the hardest thing to accept. Well, he's
- 54:52Speaker 2: manipulated you to get his way. Yeah, which you agreed
- 54:55Speaker 2: on verbally wasn't going to work for your relationship. But
- 54:58Speaker 2: he's manipulated the situation to work for him, and he's
- 55:00Speaker 2: just got you for nine months all Basically he didn't stay,
- 55:02Speaker 2: she didn't stick to his word. Yeah, you don't want
- 55:04Speaker 2: a man who's not a man of his word. He
- 55:06Speaker 2: said one thing, did another, did another. Hate women? So yeah,
- 55:12Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie big grim dilemmas, but I think
- 55:15Speaker 2: you know the answer about it is completely saying it.
- 55:19Speaker 2: I'll say it. Yeah, dump him, I'll say it. Yeah.
- 55:23Speaker 2: And like we said before, breakups are super super hard,
- 55:27Speaker 2: but like him doing this should make a breakup easier
- 55:30Speaker 2: because you're like, what a terrible person? Yeah it sucks, Yeah,
- 55:32Speaker 2: you learn something about people, Like the breakups are extra
- 55:35Speaker 2: high when like, I don't know, did they break up
- 55:40Speaker 2: on amicable terms and there's no real reason for a
- 55:41Speaker 2: breakup maybe, But like if he's done something like this,
- 55:44Speaker 2: it's like the quivalent. It's similar if someone cheats, it's
- 55:46Speaker 2: easier to get over him, It's what I'm trying to say. Yeah,
- 55:48Speaker 2: because you hate him, Yeah, so much easier to hate someone. Yeah, right,
- 55:51Speaker 2: it's so much easier. It's slightly harder because he's only
- 55:54Speaker 2: done this. But it's not even. It's not even and
- 55:55Speaker 2: only he's done this.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Like if you guys were just breaking up because you've
- 55:59Speaker 1: come to terms of the fact that you're just not
- 56:01Speaker 1: right together. But yeah, that's what you You have love
- 56:04Speaker 1: for each other and you both want the best for
- 56:05Speaker 1: each other, and you're leaving each other.
- 56:07Speaker 2: That's what it's hard. That's a hard breakup for this,
- 56:10Speaker 2: and you think that it's an easy breakup, But the
- 56:13Speaker 2: easy breakups are the ones where there's just the best
- 56:17Speaker 2: reason to do it. Also, let's go toxic. How good
- 56:20Speaker 2: is he at hockey? Yeah? Wait, how good is he?
- 56:23Speaker 2: Is he going to be in the NHL? Yeah, if
- 56:27Speaker 2: we're talking about ice hockey, and pretty so if we are,
- 56:29Speaker 2: I don't think he is. If we're talking ice hockey,
- 56:30Speaker 2: because Netherlands is another place that plays it. If he's
- 56:34Speaker 2: going to make the NHL, maybe, but she said his mates,
- 56:40Speaker 2: Like was he planned his hockey with his team with
- 56:42Speaker 2: his friend? Like, tell you right now, this motherfucker is
- 56:44Speaker 2: not making the NHL. Yeah, because by the sounds of it,
- 56:50Speaker 2: you're in university and most of the time if you're
- 56:53Speaker 2: in UNI. He starts bast you know, if you're in
- 56:56Speaker 2: the NHL. It's like any professional sports, you know. And yeah,
- 57:03Speaker 2: I think, not gonna lie. Okay, okay, okay, not gonna lie.
- 57:08Speaker 2: I think it's kind of a nick.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Like I think it's kind of a nick that he's
- 57:13Speaker 1: going to nether to the Netherlands as I'm assuming an
- 57:17Speaker 1: adult because you're in the university to play play an
- 57:22Speaker 1: amateur like maybe semi professional, probably not university hockey league
- 57:29Speaker 1: with his friends, and he's in it, like I am
- 57:33Speaker 1: assuming what you guys would call it a committed relationship.
- 57:35Speaker 2: I think that's the biggest dick, so crazy give it
- 57:39Speaker 2: up to pick a girl. Wow, he's the type that
- 57:45Speaker 2: is always going to pick hockey over his current girl.
- 57:49Speaker 2: He's the type that injured his knee. Yeah, but if
- 57:54Speaker 2: he didn't, yeah that if he didn't, he would have
- 57:57Speaker 2: made it. Unfortunately, guys, the episode is ending. But until
- 58:08Speaker 2: that happens, we have a few things to do. First thing,
- 58:12Speaker 2: big comments of last week's episode. If you want to
- 58:14Speaker 2: get them read out, just start commenting and we'll get
- 58:16Speaker 2: to them. Yeah, I'll go first, Megan said, listening to
- 58:20Speaker 2: the when you got to go segment whilst mid run
- 58:23Speaker 2: nearly created my own story dangerous game that is, that
- 58:27Speaker 2: is a dangerous game. It would have had you thinking
- 58:30Speaker 2: about it too. You probably didn't even feel the need
- 58:32Speaker 2: to pooh. But then but then her story being out
- 58:34Speaker 2: and about going for a walk with the kid and
- 58:36Speaker 2: then you thinking imagine if that happened to me, probably
- 58:39Speaker 2: made you think, oh, actually can't have to go. Yeah,
- 58:40Speaker 2: that's what I would. I would, I would expect he would.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Hailey said it didn't dawn on me that Australia had
- 58:47Speaker 1: Hannah Montana until Jake serenaded us at the start Montana song.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Even though it's the same person. I think it's a
- 58:54Speaker 2: malo sar. Yeah, she's the cause career. I love Hannah Montana. Ay,
- 58:59Speaker 2: did you you know I loved it ten on a Saturday.
- 59:02Speaker 2: Did you know Hannah Montana only had two seasons? What
- 59:06Speaker 2: it feels like there was ten. I feel like I
- 59:08Speaker 2: watched five hundred episodes of that show and every episode
- 59:11Speaker 2: was different. I loved every Saturday morning at like seven
- 59:14Speaker 2: thirty eight o'clock Hannah Montana was on, and then I
- 59:16Speaker 2: KLi ready it was the best ever Hannah Montana. Hannah Montana.
- 59:21Speaker 2: I am telling you, please be wrong. Oh okay, okay,
- 59:29Speaker 2: what four seasons? Still? How many episodes? There is? Ninety
- 59:35Speaker 2: eight episodes altogether. That's a fair few. It's okay, look,
- 59:39Speaker 2: that's a fair few. But I guarantee you I've watched
- 59:40Speaker 2: all of them. Yes, oh bro, all right, Vicky said,
- 59:45Speaker 2: great episodes. Guys couldn't stop laughing. Thank you very much,
- 59:51Speaker 2: Alexandra Peronne. The joke about diffusing a disagreement slash argument
- 59:57Speaker 2: clap clap also to explain diffuser. It depends on your hair,
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: but it makes the force of the airflow from the
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: hair dryer gentler, and is used more commonly to dry
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: curly or wavy hair. It can also add volume to
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: the roots of your hair for people with long, heavy hair. Oh,
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: I was guessing the female products and there was that
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: the thing, the hair dryer attachment, and had a good
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: joke and I said, I thought it added volume, and
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: then we found out it was a diffuser. She said
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: it actually difus the situations. Man, man, man. That was
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: good for men. But now it's time for a baddie
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: to sign off the episode. If you want to get
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: a call from us, be sure to sign up. Yeah,
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: be sure to answer the phone, but also sign up
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: links in the description and it's also linking by on Instagram.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: Today we are calling Kiara. Hello, it's only in Jake
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: from the Rolated This podcast. Hi.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: Way, that's such fun.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's me. How's it going?
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: Everything is?
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: We are at the end of an episode and we
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: have called you asking if you could please sign off
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: the episode. Is that okay?
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, okay. I was not ready for this, but
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: I actually read maybe someone else as well. I actually
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: read this sentence the other day, which says anxiety occurs
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: when there is many choices and unclear priorities. It is
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: actually the fact, isn't it. So Yeah, I invite people
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: that suffer from anxiety to think about that.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: You might have just helped a lot of people.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: Yeah, hopefully I have a good night.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Yeah, used to ye, I was pretty sicky. I love
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: when we put them on the spot and they absolutely
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: turn up. I just read this the other day. I'll
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: tell you what I know where she read it about
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: not how bad he's we love you, stay bad.
