- 0:40Speaker 1: and you know he's become quite the big MC of
- 0:43Speaker 1: some of the best shows. There was one on Saturday
- 0:48Speaker 1: night at Madison Square Garden. It's a big benefit for
- 0:52Speaker 1: the police. It's a wonderful event, gratitude for the police.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And he did that one. Did you get him on
- 0:58Speaker 1: that number? Nope, that's very strange. Uh oh, let me
- 1:08Speaker 1: find another number for him. Sorry about this, just talk.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Oh we got him. We got him anyway. But it
- 1:13Speaker 1: was a great benefit Saturday night Madison Square Garden. It
- 1:18Speaker 1: was Thank you NYPD. It's a wonderful cause. And Steve
- 1:21Speaker 1: Shirippa did a great job. Now he's gonna be hosting
- 1:23Speaker 1: and this you want to go to it's garden laughs.
- 1:26Speaker 1: It's a big show, all star comedy show, great comedians.

- 1:42Speaker 1: he's with us right now. Steve Sharipa, how you doing.
- 1:45Speaker 2: What's up my friend? I haven't seen you in a
- 1:48Speaker 2: long time.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah, where you been?
- 1:52Speaker 2: I'm around. I was touring. We went on told me
- 1:55Speaker 2: and Michael imperially to the UK doing our soprano show
- 1:59Speaker 2: talking Panos, and we did fourteen shows in ten cities, wow,
- 2:04Speaker 2: and seventeen days. So that was not easy. But we
- 2:09Speaker 2: drew mark about twenty seven thousand people and it was crazy.
- 2:14Speaker 2: It was really crazy, and they are crazy soprano fans
- 2:19Speaker 2: nineteen years after the show went off the air and
- 2:23Speaker 2: it's still as popular as ever. So that's kind of
- 2:27Speaker 2: where I've been preparing for that. And then we did that,
- 2:29Speaker 2: and uh, and then I'm around listen, Uh, you know,
- 2:33Speaker 2: we got the big show coming the Garden elass and
- 2:36Speaker 2: then that was a great thing. Saturday night that Jim
- 2:39Speaker 2: Dole and the Garden did because not everyone and I
- 2:43Speaker 2: won't mention names, appreciates the NYPD like they should. Yeah, okay,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I think it was that Jack Asteblasio started that crap.
- 2:53Speaker 2: But they did something nice for the NYPD, and I
- 2:58Speaker 2: was very happy to be a part of it. I
- 2:59Speaker 2: think it just was wonderful, you know. So we got
- 3:03Speaker 2: to say thank you to those guys. You gotta say
- 3:05Speaker 2: thank you to the NYPD, not the ticket agents. Don't
- 3:09Speaker 2: say thank you to that. You give me the tickets.
- 3:12Speaker 1: That's a different group. So now you I did I
- 3:15Speaker 1: see you. I didn't see you in the No King's rally.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Just to get that straight. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
- 3:20Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, I'm in Rhode Island. I'm in
- 3:23Speaker 2: Rhode Island. Okay, I'm just time. You know, politics is
- 3:28Speaker 2: my thing. You know that.
- 3:29Speaker 1: No, you know, but hey, Rhode Island, they must go
- 3:32Speaker 1: crazy where they see you there.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Uh you know, you know, I bought a house up
- 3:37Speaker 2: here and it's it's it's very nice, nice beach town.
- 3:41Speaker 2: So I just came up here starting to throw out.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I mean, we had gotten three and a half feet
- 3:46Speaker 2: of snow, so, you know, Nixon doing well Connecticut. I
- 3:51Speaker 2: was happy they won because I don't like Duke. So
- 3:55Speaker 2: a lot of things going on, and uh, I got
- 3:58Speaker 2: my book coming out. Oh my kids book coming out.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Doing a lot of book signings Willie Boy each the world.
- 4:04Speaker 2: It'll be in stores April twenty first, the pre order
- 4:08Speaker 2: it on Amazon. But I'm doing a bunch of signings Huntingdon,
- 4:11Speaker 2: Long Island and New Jersey Bookends, a great bookstore doing Brooklyn, Uh,
- 4:18Speaker 2: Bay Ridge, and I'm doing the Strand in Manhattan. Michael
- 4:23Speaker 2: Imperioli's moderating and very good. It's gonna be good. It's
- 4:27Speaker 2: my beloved dog. You know about Willy Boy. Yeah, everybody
- 4:30Speaker 2: else everywhere.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Make sure you follow Steve Shrip on Instagram and then
- 4:34Speaker 1: you can see Willie Boy in action. Great stuff you
- 4:37Speaker 1: put up there on Instagram.
- 4:38Speaker 2: And yeah, so otherwise, uh, that's good. Last time I
- 4:43Speaker 2: saw you, we were at Fresco.
- 4:45Speaker 1: That's right, Fresco the Great.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I ran into your Fresco. Always good, Rosanna, Always good
- 4:50Speaker 2: to see Rosanna. Go to Tian Food. Is that one
- 4:52Speaker 2: of your spots? Yeah?
- 4:53Speaker 1: I love Fresco. Hey, now you know my favorite app
- 4:56Speaker 1: is Pluto TV. You put Pluto on your phone. It's
- 4:59Speaker 1: got an million channels and there's a blue Bloods channel.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It's just Blue Bloods twenty four hours a day. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: I can just sit there and watch that all day.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But if it's the first five seasons, it's not the
- 5:11Speaker 1: same because you're not in them, so you really really know.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And uh yeah, but you know it was it was
- 5:19Speaker 2: a great run Blue Bloods. I absolutely love doing it,
- 5:22Speaker 2: and uh, I don't know why no one. The big
- 5:26Speaker 2: question mark is why it was canceled. I know, as
- 5:30Speaker 2: Manion viewers every week.
- 5:32Speaker 1: It was money. They just didn't want to spend the
- 5:33Speaker 1: money anymore for the you know, it's because.
- 5:37Speaker 2: If they weren't giving it to me.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But you know, if you if you watch Boston Blue,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and it's a fine show, but you could tell the
- 5:45Speaker 1: writers were told keep it inexpensive. There's no car chases.
- 5:48Speaker 1: It's always a foot chase. Oh really yeah, there's no
- 5:51Speaker 1: car chases, you know.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Boston Blue. I don't think there's anyone besides Donnie. I
- 5:56Speaker 2: mean there's no writers or produces from Blue Bloods. I
- 5:59Speaker 2: mean it's completely different, you know, and Donnie always does
- 6:03Speaker 2: a good job. And I think Lynn carry you. I
- 6:05Speaker 2: see his guest star at Who's Yeah right, Lenn carry
- 6:09Speaker 2: You is just incredible, incredible performer, singer, wonderful guy.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, it was a big Broadway start. Now
- 6:17Speaker 1: I love Blue Bloods. He was great in the show.
- 6:19Speaker 1: But in real life he's like the same age as
- 6:22Speaker 1: Tom Selleck. How could he be his father?
- 6:24Speaker 2: No, he's five years old. He's five years older. Well, listen,
- 6:28Speaker 2: he moves a little slower. But he's on this show
- 6:31Speaker 2: with Kevin Klein. Have you seen the show. It's on MG.
- 6:34Speaker 2: It's on MG and plus. I'll tell you what. I
- 6:38Speaker 2: like it a lot American classic. It's called and Len
- 6:41Speaker 2: is great in it. He plays Kevin Klein's father. Yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 2: so I don't know how old is he there? Listen,
- 6:48Speaker 2: it's hard to get Tom Sellick's eighty one. What are
- 6:51Speaker 2: you gonna get a guy one hundred and two to
- 6:53Speaker 2: play his father? What are you so? What do you?
- 6:57Speaker 2: What are you gonna do? You gotta you know, age appropriate?
- 7:01Speaker 2: You know, you're trying to make it look, you know,
- 7:03Speaker 2: move a little slower, try to make them look like
- 7:06Speaker 2: his father. I believed him as his dad, didn't you? Oh?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely no. Everybody in the show expectator. Hey, I'm
- 7:11Speaker 1: the one that binge watches it every day, every single day.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And you wonder if you probably get no residuals from
- 7:18Speaker 2: Pluto TV.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm sure No, I don't think so.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I'm sure another screw the actor again. There you go. So,
- 7:27Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. You know, like you said,
- 7:29Speaker 2: it's got the first five seasons. Still got a lot
- 7:31Speaker 2: of fans out there. Hey, it's got to like the Sopranos.
- 7:34Speaker 1: You know, it's got its own twenty four hour day channel.
- 7:36Speaker 1: It must be. It must be doing well. But for
- 7:38Speaker 1: a guy to get into a hit series that's going
- 7:40Speaker 1: to run ten years or whatever, that's the greatest thing
- 7:42Speaker 1: ever happened.
- 7:43Speaker 3: How many people have had two? You're in a very
- 7:46Speaker 3: soll listen. I had three. I had three. I had
- 7:50Speaker 3: one with Molly Ringwall's Secret Life five years, one hundred
- 7:53Speaker 3: and ten episodes.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yeah. And then last year I did a couple of
- 7:57Speaker 2: Hallmark movies which I liked a lot. I did the
- 8:01Speaker 2: Christmas movie Dream Come True. It was a holiday touchdown,
- 8:06Speaker 2: the Buffalo Bills. I did another one's Sisterhood inc. I
- 8:09Speaker 2: did a few Decksters. I'm doing doing kind of what
- 8:12Speaker 2: I want to do you know, Mark, I'm sixty eight,
- 8:16Speaker 2: something good comes along and do it. If not, I'm.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Okay, Steve, you do all right, you do one of
- 8:22Speaker 1: the best podcast people can still see that right with
- 8:24Speaker 1: you and Michael imperially.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you go on YouTube. We still have our podcast
- 8:28Speaker 2: up talking Sopranos. I mean the live shows. I don't
- 8:31Speaker 2: know where we go from here, because Sister was kind
- 8:34Speaker 2: of like the big finale, you know, you know, doing
- 8:37Speaker 2: all that traveling and stuff. It was. It was fun
- 8:40Speaker 2: but hard. It's kind of now you know certain things
- 8:43Speaker 2: you do and then when you look back on him,
- 8:45Speaker 2: you go, boy, that was great, you know, But at
- 8:47Speaker 2: the time you're so involved doing it, not unlike the Sopranos.
- 8:51Speaker 2: You know, you're doing that. It's an incredible show, but
- 8:54Speaker 2: you're in the thick of it. You're trying not to
- 8:56Speaker 2: get killed off, You're worried about all this stuff. And
- 8:59Speaker 2: then you sit back a few years later you go, man,
- 9:01Speaker 2: that was just the best experience of my life that
- 9:05Speaker 2: I'll ever have, you know, Yeah, that kind of thing.
- 9:07Speaker 2: So the Garden of Lambs, big show coming up. Jim Dolan,
- 9:13Speaker 2: one of the most generous guys, doesn't get credit for
- 9:16Speaker 2: it like you should. It's the Garden the Dreams Foundation.
- 9:19Speaker 2: We've raised eight point five million dollars in the first
- 9:23Speaker 2: four This is my fifth one hosting it. This year
- 9:26Speaker 2: they moved it to Radio City John Oliver and you
- 9:30Speaker 2: got Andrew Schultz and Zarna Garg and some great great
- 9:34Speaker 2: comics and a lot of presenters, celebrity and print presenters,
- 9:39Speaker 2: John tutorro Adam Graves. A lot of sports guys and
- 9:43Speaker 2: actors are also there. So it's a really good night
- 9:46Speaker 2: if you've never been to the gardener lasts. It's our
- 9:48Speaker 2: fifth one. Yeah, that's that's good. I enjoy that. All
- 9:52Speaker 2: the money stays in the Tri state area, you know.
