- 0:05Speaker 1: Launch Control, this is Houston.
- 0:06Speaker 2: We are going to launch.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Five, four, three, two, one.
- 0:13Speaker 4: It's Chris X.
- 0:17Speaker 5: Radio.
- 0:17Speaker 6: Chris X Radio.
- 0:20Speaker 7: What we need.
- 0:21Speaker 5: Right now is a clear message to the people of
- 0:24Speaker 5: this country. This message must be read in every newspaper,
- 0:27Speaker 5: heard on every radio, seen on every television. This message
- 0:31Speaker 5: must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 0:34Speaker 6: And now, your host.
- 0:35Speaker 8: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 0:37Speaker 6: Chris X.
- 0:55Speaker 9: Cash, is it the weekend yet?
- 0:57Speaker 10: I've heard rumor it might be soon.
- 1:03Speaker 9: Oh no, it starts like right now.
- 1:04Speaker 10: Right now?
- 1:05Speaker 9: Right now.
- 1:06Speaker 11: It's the weekend is upon us for me. Good afternoon
- 1:11Speaker 11: and welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:14Speaker 9: I am the aforementioned X-Man.
- 1:17Speaker 11: And we have assumed control of the airwaves, and we
- 1:19Speaker 11: intend to maintain control of these airwaves for the next
- 1:23Speaker 11: two hours as, of course, we come bearing that gift
- 1:25Speaker 11: beyond price that is almost free, ladies and gentlemen. We
- 1:29Speaker 11: bring you the spirit of talk radio, and we do
- 1:32Speaker 11: it here on our Friday.
- 1:33Speaker 9: Show on Thursday. Oh, what? Why do you do a
- 1:37Speaker 9: Friday show on Thursday?
- 1:40Speaker 11: Well, I have to clear room, make room for the
- 1:42Speaker 11: amigos who take over every Friday from 4 to 6.
- 1:45Speaker 11: So those of you who are inclined to study physics
- 1:49Speaker 11: understand that two objects cannot occupy the same place at
- 1:53Speaker 11: the same time. So, of course, we move our Friday
- 1:57Speaker 11: show to Thursday, which allows me to do my Friday
- 2:00Speaker 11: show on Thursday, which means we will talk about whatever
- 2:03Speaker 11: is on your mind today. Whatever you guys want to
- 2:05Speaker 11: talk about.
- 2:06Speaker 9: I don't care. Well, I do care to a certain degree.
- 2:08Speaker 9: You've got to keep it within FCC guidelines.
- 2:12Speaker 11: Yeah, Cash can vouch for the fact that some of
- 2:13Speaker 11: you guys get a little out of hand with your language.
- 2:16Speaker 11: We can't do that. You've got to keep it clean.
- 2:18Speaker 11: This is a family-friendly program. Even though we talk about
- 2:25Speaker 11: things that aren't exactly as family-friendly as they once were.
- 2:28Speaker 9: To say the least.
- 2:30Speaker 11: But we'll talk about whatever's on your mind. That's how
- 2:32Speaker 11: we roll here on our Friday show on Thursday. Once again,
- 2:35Speaker 11: we manipulate the time-space continuum, which allows us to do
- 2:39Speaker 11: our Friday show today. So our weekend kicks off officially
- 2:43Speaker 11: right now. So we're going kicking it off. If you
- 2:45Speaker 11: want to join us, talk about whatever's on your mind, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 2:48Speaker 9: Once again, we like to get things— I' ve got to.
- 2:50Speaker 11: Do it right— I made a mistake a few weeks
- 2:58Speaker 11: ago of not playing our Rebecca Black, Leo Morciolo mashup
- 3:04Speaker 11: of Friday. And, man, I broke the whole damn station. Cash,
- 3:08Speaker 11: I can't do that right before you leave, right? We
- 3:10Speaker 11: got to do it right, correct?
- 3:11Speaker 10: Oh, I was three seconds from calling you out.
- 3:14Speaker 9: Okay. All right. Well, then, there we go.
- 3:16Speaker 6: It's Friday.
- 3:17Speaker 12: Oh, thank God.
- 3:20Speaker 9: Can't afford to break the whole station by not playing
- 3:22Speaker 9: Rebecca Black. Who knew she would have such authority?
- 3:26Speaker 13: In 2026.
- 3:26Speaker 9: When you're getting down. I know Cap Jack is usually
- 3:32Speaker 9: getting down on Friday.
- 3:34Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 9: All right, this is Cash's version.
- 3:41Speaker 14: Here's mine.
- 3:41Speaker 9: It's Friday, Friday.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Gotta get down on Friday.
- 3:47Speaker 15: Everybody.
- 3:49Speaker 11: I was talking to my buddy Sean back in the
- 3:50Speaker 11: day when he used to play in bands.
- 3:53Speaker 16: I couldn't sing like this.
- 3:55Speaker 9: I can sing like this now.
- 3:57Speaker 17: Watch, I'm going to do this part. Here we go.
- 4:08Speaker 11: Why can I sing like that now? Cash, why do
- 4:14Speaker 11: I sing like that now?
- 4:15Speaker 10: It seems like you've evolved.
- 4:18Speaker 11: I think the proper term would be devolved. I used
- 4:22Speaker 11: to be able to sing well like my buddy Sean.
- 4:24Speaker 11: We were in Catch-22 together about, man, almost 30 years
- 4:28Speaker 11: ago now.
- 4:29Speaker 9: Dear Lord. You know, we did our music show not
- 4:34Speaker 9: too long ago.
- 4:35Speaker 11: I got to go look. By the way, he's performing
- 4:36Speaker 11: this weekend. Sean Guitar Harold. Sean GTR Harold. Let me
- 4:43Speaker 11: go look. It's at W.O. Sushi, but I got to
- 4:46Speaker 11: make sure I find out which deck. I think he's performing,
- 4:49Speaker 11: is it Friday night? Hold on, let me find it
- 4:53Speaker 11: for you. Search the phone.
- 4:55Speaker 9: By the way, people went out and voted and let
- 4:57Speaker 9: me know. Okay, no, still haven't got it.
- 5:02Speaker 11: No, that's not it. Okay, I probably should have, there
- 5:06Speaker 11: we go. Live music, W.O. Sushi, After Dark. He's performing
- 5:12Speaker 11: this coming weekend. You guys need to check him out
- 5:13Speaker 11: up in Magnolia. I know he'll play at Cisco's Sauce
- 5:16Speaker 11: Company every now and then, so I'd like to give
- 5:18Speaker 11: him a shout-out.
- 5:19Speaker 9: So if you want to go see a man performing
- 5:21Speaker 9: with a guitar and singing, he can still sing good.
- 5:24Speaker 9: He sings well, and, man, he can.
- 5:27Speaker 11: Play that guitar like a son of a gun.
- 5:29Speaker 9: I can tell you that. I mean, he practices so
- 5:33Speaker 9: he could be as good as me, but.
- 5:38Speaker 11: Anyone who has ever seen him play guitar and me
- 5:41Speaker 11: play guitar just had a good laugh just then. Because
- 5:44Speaker 11: I could only dream of playing like Sean. But nonetheless,
- 5:47Speaker 11: he'll be playing this weekend, I think Friday night over
- 5:49Speaker 11: at W.O.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Sushi.
- 5:50Speaker 9: So if you guys want to go.
- 5:51Speaker 11: Check him out up in Magnolia Way. I know he'll
- 5:54Speaker 11: play at Cisco's, occasionally up in Tomball. He plays other
- 5:58Speaker 11: places too.
- 5:59Speaker 9: He's very talented. He also let me know that him
- 6:02Speaker 9: and his wife got out and voted today.
- 6:04Speaker 19: In fact....
- 6:07Speaker 11: A lot of people got out and voted today. People
- 6:09Speaker 11: were letting me know all day, which is very cool.
- 6:13Speaker 11: I talked to, okay, I think Sean was in and out,
- 6:15Speaker 11: him and his wife, for like 15 minutes. I talked
- 6:17Speaker 11: to Dekel Dizzle, as we call him. He voted up
- 6:22Speaker 11: in MoCo, Montgomery County. I think he was out in
- 6:24Speaker 11: about 30 minutes.
- 6:26Speaker 9: So there was that.
- 6:27Speaker 11: And then there's another person who's there's some guy who
- 6:32Speaker 11: apparently I think he got a new job. He's going
- 6:34Speaker 11: to be working on a moon base on literally on
- 6:38Speaker 11: the moon. He's literally going to be working on the moon.
- 6:41Speaker 11: So there you go. But he's going to be up
- 6:45Speaker 11: there at stuck in a moon base. I don't know
- 6:47Speaker 11: how many years they're going to stick him there. But
- 6:49Speaker 11: I think he went and voted today, too. I do
- 6:52Speaker 11: believe his name is Cash O'Lean. Cash, did you get
- 6:54Speaker 11: out and vote today? Oh, I did.
- 6:56Speaker 20: I did.
- 6:56Speaker 10: The moon base was pretty quick.
- 7:00Speaker 9: Okay, so you got in that. How long total do
- 7:02Speaker 9: you think it took you to vote?
- 7:05Speaker 10: Five minutes to vote, but about 30 to get in
- 7:08Speaker 10: the door, and then about 20 to fight with the
- 7:12Speaker 10: people in the small parking lot, who I then had
- 7:14Speaker 10: to stand in line with for spots.
- 7:17Speaker 11: Okay, when you say fight with them, you don't mean
- 7:19Speaker 11: like literally fighting, just struggling to get in and get
- 7:21Speaker 11: your vote cast.
- 7:22Speaker 10: No, no, to park in the parking lot. I mean,
- 7:25Speaker 10: if looks could kill, I was in at least seven fights.
- 7:28Speaker 9: Oh, man. Okay, well, at least you didn't road rage
- 7:31Speaker 9: or anything, which is good.
- 7:33Speaker 10: Oh, no, no, I had tons of time. They were
- 7:35Speaker 10: in a hurry.
- 7:36Speaker 13: Oh, okay.
- 7:36Speaker 9: Well, that's good.
- 7:38Speaker 11: Yeah, you did it early, so you got outvoted. I
- 7:39Speaker 11: still have not early voted yet. I plan to do
- 7:42Speaker 11: that probably tomorrow. I could get out and early vote tomorrow.
- 7:45Speaker 11: But like I said, I heard from people, most everybody,
- 7:47Speaker 11: it seems to be going well, but we're still doing
- 7:51Speaker 11: historic turnout. Early voting goes through October 30th, the day
- 7:54Speaker 11: before Halloween, Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday,
- 7:59Speaker 11: noon to 7, election day is coming up Tuesday, November 3rd,
- 8:02Speaker 11: 7 a.m.
- 8:03Speaker 9: To 7 p.m.
- 8:04Speaker 11: I'm getting, I was, it sounds hard for me to say,
- 8:10Speaker 11: I was trying to find someone who could really give
- 8:14Speaker 11: us good voter information as to who's turnout, but we
- 8:17Speaker 11: really don't have that information. But what they can gather
- 8:21Speaker 11: from the primaries and everything else, we're getting a historic
- 8:24Speaker 11: turnout in some of the counties, definitely Harris County. And there's,
- 8:30Speaker 11: from what I hear, the Democrats are leading, but only slightly,
- 8:33Speaker 11: As far as it turned out, because Republicans are showing
- 8:35Speaker 11: up here in early voting, which is generally not the case.
- 8:38Speaker 11: A lot of Republicans are the traditional day of voters.
- 8:41Speaker 11: They like to vote on Election Day. So Republicans are
- 8:45Speaker 11: turning out and voting in this primary, and that is
- 8:48Speaker 11: a great sign. Because if they can keep pace with
- 8:52Speaker 11: the Democrats through the early voting and then just blow
- 8:55Speaker 11: it out on Election Day, that will bode very well
- 8:58Speaker 11: for the nation, for Texas, for Harris County, hopefully.
- 9:04Speaker 9: And do well.
- 9:05Speaker 11: If you're in Harris County, it's HarrisVotes.com. Montgomery County, Fort
- 9:09Speaker 11: Bend County, those other counties, they too have their own
- 9:12Speaker 11: websites if you want to go check out your sample ballot.
- 9:14Speaker 11: It's pretty easy. There's a fair amount of stuff on
- 9:16Speaker 11: the sample ballot, but if you know who you're going
- 9:19Speaker 11: to vote for, and it's real easy, this time you
- 9:21Speaker 11: vote for the first person listed, anyone with an R
- 9:24Speaker 11: next to their name. If you do that, then you
- 9:26Speaker 11: fly right through the ballot. You'll be done in five minutes.
- 9:30Speaker 11: So you said when you actually went in and then
- 9:32Speaker 11: got your ballot cash, it took you, what, five minutes
- 9:34Speaker 11: to go through it all and then click everyone?
- 9:37Speaker 18: Oh, yeah.
- 9:37Speaker 10: Yeah, no, super, super easy once I was in the door.
- 9:40Speaker 9: Okay, so there you go. So then it was real easy.
- 9:44Speaker 11: Once he fought his way past the hordes to get in.
- 9:48Speaker 11: And I said hordes, H-O-R-D-E-S, for croakers in Pearland with
- 9:54Speaker 11: whatever gum in their ears.
- 9:56Speaker 9: So there you go.
- 9:57Speaker 11: Okay, so, uh, but, uh, I want to hear from
- 10:00Speaker 11: you guys. Did anybody else get out an early vote today?
- 10:02Speaker 11: If you want to mention how your case was two, eight, one, five, five, eight, five, seven, three, eight, two, eight, one, five, five,
- 10:08Speaker 11: eight KSEV. But then again, this is our Friday show
- 10:11Speaker 11: on Thursday. So we'll talk about whatever is on your
- 10:14Speaker 11: mind today. So here's the totals on what we've got
- 10:17Speaker 11: so far, at least in Harris County. Nearly 328,000 voters
- 10:22Speaker 11: have cast ballots alone through the third day of early voting.
- 10:26Speaker 11: As according to unofficial numbers from the Harris County Clerk's Office,
- 10:30Speaker 11: as of Wednesday, October 21st, the county reported 327,691 total
- 10:32Speaker 11: early voters for the November 3rd general and special elections.
- 10:35Speaker 9: The total includes 297,985 in-person check-ins.
- 10:36Speaker 11: 29,706 mail-in ballots. That's according to the Daily Early Voting Report.
- 10:55Speaker 11: On Wednesday alone, 93,417 voters checked in at early voting locations,
- 10:57Speaker 11: while the county received 2,157 mail-in ballots. brought the day's
- 11:09Speaker 11: total to 95,574 early voters. Harris County elections officials previously
- 11:17Speaker 11: reported that the first day of early voting broke the
- 11:20Speaker 11: midterm election turnout record. Record 129,453 early voters on Monday,
- 11:23Speaker 11: October 19th, including 104,659 in-person check-ins and another 24,794 mail-in
- 11:25Speaker 11: ballots received.
- 11:26Speaker 9: So people are voting. Good job.
- 11:43Speaker 11: You already know the Marxists are getting out, the Darwinists,
- 11:48Speaker 11: as Kristen Spring calls them, they're getting out and voting
- 11:51Speaker 11: for sure. So if you want to get out, make
- 11:54Speaker 11: your voice heard, get it done early, not really have
- 11:57Speaker 11: to wait in a long line. I heard once again
- 12:00Speaker 11: up in Magnolia, man, it was quick, in and out
- 12:02Speaker 11: about 15, 20, 30 minutes. I'm sorry, MoCo was 20
- 12:03Speaker 11: or 30 minutes. I think it's about 15 minutes up
- 12:09Speaker 11: there in Montgomery County. I don't know if it was
- 12:13Speaker 11: Montgomery County or not.
- 12:14Speaker 9: Montgomery, the city. You know, just north of Tomball. Nice
- 12:17Speaker 9: little area.
- 12:18Speaker 11: I like to go over there.
- 12:19Speaker 9: Every now and then I'll go eat at the Magnolia Diner.
- 12:24Speaker 9: And Magnolia is the city. Sorry, I keep saying Montgomery.
- 12:26Speaker 9: I think it's Magnolia. Sorry, I apologize.
- 12:29Speaker 11: But the Magnolia Diner, which is pretty good eats. I
- 12:33Speaker 11: would say, Cash, you and I should go celebrate and
- 12:36Speaker 11: eat a dinner there one time. But, man, that's way
- 12:38Speaker 11: too much of a drive for both of us on
- 12:41Speaker 11: a dinner night.
- 12:43Speaker 9: We'll have to keep it to... Thanks.
- 12:45Speaker 11: Now, here's my question, Cash. When you start your new job,
- 12:47Speaker 11: I know we got you for another week. When you
- 12:49Speaker 11: start your new job working on the moon in this base,
- 12:53Speaker 11: are you going to work seven days a week, 24
- 12:55Speaker 11: hours a day for like 320 days or 80 days
- 12:57Speaker 11: or whatever it is? Or do you actually get to
- 12:59Speaker 11: take an Elon Musk flying car back to home every
- 13:05Speaker 11: now and then to take a break?
- 13:06Speaker 10: I'm not sure. They were real cagey about car access.
- 13:10Speaker 9: Okay.
- 13:12Speaker 11: Then again, I imagine they probably hadn't consulted. with one
- 13:15Speaker 11: Elon Musk and his flying Viper. Speaking of Viper, I
- 13:19Speaker 11: think it's the Viper, Tom Skerritt has passed away at
- 13:22Speaker 11: the age of 93 years old. Those who know Tom Skerritt,
- 13:27Speaker 11: big-time Hollywood actor, he was Dallas from the original Alien.
- 13:31Speaker 9: Incredible.
- 13:32Speaker 11: Viper in Top Gun. He is the Viper. But he
- 13:37Speaker 11: has been in so... He was in Cheech and Chong.
- 13:40Speaker 11: Was it their next movie? I think it was Up
- 13:42Speaker 11: in Smoke.
- 13:43Speaker 9: He was in those... I mean.
- 13:45Speaker 11: He was 93 years old. I forget how old some
- 13:49Speaker 11: of these actors are that we grew up watching. So
- 13:53Speaker 11: whenever I see that, I'm like, man, that's another part
- 13:56Speaker 11: of our youth is going away. So Tom Skerritt has
- 14:00Speaker 11: passed away at 93. So we'll raise a toast with
- 14:02Speaker 11: your goblet to the gods that Tom Skerritt. Pour one
- 14:07Speaker 11: out for Tom.
- 14:08Speaker 9: There we go. Pour one out. Cash, will you pour
- 14:10Speaker 9: one out on the moon for Tom Skerritt when you
- 14:12Speaker 9: get up there?
- 14:13Speaker 10: Oh, no doubt. No doubt.
- 14:14Speaker 9: Okay. Thank you. I appreciate that.
- 14:17Speaker 11: All right. So a lot of good votes, a lot
- 14:18Speaker 11: of people getting out and voting here in early voting. OK,
- 14:21Speaker 11: we got other stuff, too. And once again, it is
- 14:23Speaker 11: our Friday show on Thursday. So we'll talk about whatever's
- 14:26Speaker 11: on your mind. 281-558-KSEV. A 52 year old man was
- 14:31Speaker 11: hospitalized in stable condition this morning after a crash involving
- 14:35Speaker 11: ICE agents during a pursuit in Northwest County. According to
- 14:40Speaker 11: the Harris County Sheriff's Office, an ICE agent called 911
- 14:43Speaker 11: reported there was some sort of an accident. But, I mean,
- 14:47Speaker 11: in all fairness, though, the illegal alien was probably on
- 14:50Speaker 11: his way to vote, so he's probably in a hurry.
- 14:55Speaker 11: Ford Bend County Tax Assessor Collector Carmen Turner was arrested
- 14:59Speaker 11: today again. and charged with a nine-count federal indictment accusing
- 15:04Speaker 11: her of misusing taxpayer funds.
- 15:07Speaker 9: So we can get into that.
- 15:09Speaker 11: Fox News poll finds that, oh, it's a dead heat
- 15:12Speaker 11: in the Texas Senate.
- 15:13Speaker 9: Isn't it funny how the media outlets.
- 15:17Speaker 11: Just as we're getting into Election Day on the big races,
- 15:19Speaker 11: it is always 50-50 now, 49-49.
- 15:20Speaker 9: Representative Ilhan Omar.
- 15:29Speaker 11: She claims that she married your brother. She called it
- 15:32Speaker 11: insane and then closed the door to the possibility of
- 15:34Speaker 11: being related to her ex-husband, but then had a really
- 15:38Speaker 11: weird answer.
- 15:38Speaker 9: Okay, I talked too long.
- 15:40Speaker 11: We'll take a short break, and then we'll come back.
- 15:42Speaker 11: Got plenty to get into. 281-558-KSEV.
- 15:45Speaker 9: You're listening to Chris X Radio, and we'll be right back.
- 15:53Speaker 6: The resistance is futile. Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 15:59Speaker 12: Hi, y'all.
- 16:00Speaker 21: It's Kathy from Baker Mortgage. You know, with all the
- 16:02Speaker 21: scary stuff we've been through, it's still true that timing
- 16:05Speaker 21: is everything and the time to buy is now. But
- 16:08Speaker 21: don't go looking without a solid pre-approval in hand. And
- 16:11Speaker 21: this includes an application and a detailed discussion about property taxes.
- 16:16Speaker 21: If you didn't have the talk, You know, about property taxes,
- 16:19Speaker 21: you really don't know what you're pre-approved for. That should
- 16:22Speaker 21: make you wonder what else they may have left out.
- 16:24Speaker 21: Mortgages are personal. Let's face it, we're dealing with your
- 16:27Speaker 21: home and your money, and it doesn't get much more
- 16:30Speaker 21: personal than that. When it's the largest transaction that most
- 16:33Speaker 21: people will ever be involved in, imagine having someone on
- 16:36Speaker 21: your side looking out after you.
- 16:38Speaker 11: What a concept.
- 16:39Speaker 21: We audit your closing statement to make sure you're not
- 16:42Speaker 21: paying for things that you're not supposed to. Do you
- 16:44Speaker 21: think your big bank's going to do that? Probably not.

- 17:59Speaker 19: I believe qualified students applying for good-paying jobs after graduation
- 18:03Speaker 19: should have real opportunities. We dedicated over $ 150 million to
- 18:08Speaker 19: expand technical education programs across Texas. We need to keep
- 18:12Speaker 19: working to help our public school students and teachers. I
- 18:15Speaker 19: champion legislation that provides pay raises for public school librarians, counselors, nurses,
- 18:21Speaker 19: and teachers who take on harder teaching jobs. I'm Mike Schofield,
- 18:24Speaker 19: and I will always keep you and.
- 18:26Speaker 9: Your family first.
- 18:28Speaker 19: As your state representative, I voted to protect our children
- 18:31Speaker 19: online by limiting what social media companies can expose your
- 18:35Speaker 19: kids to. We passed AI regulations including banning behavioral manipulation,
- 18:39Speaker 19: social scoring, and deep fakes, preventing sexual predators and big
- 18:43Speaker 19: tech from preying on our innocent kids. It's important we
- 18:47Speaker 19: stay vigilant to protect our families and especially our kids
- 18:50Speaker 19: from the criminals that are lurking on the internet. Early
- 18:53Speaker 19: voting is going on now. Paid political ad, Mike Schofield campaign.
- 18:57Speaker 3: And now we return you to your regularly scheduled dose

- 19:40Speaker 11: glad to have you here with us we'll talk about
- 19:42Speaker 11: whatever is on your mind today we kick off the
- 19:44Speaker 11: weekend 24 hours ahead of everybody else we do our
- 19:47Speaker 11: friday show which means man whatever's on your mind 281-558-KSEV
- 19:56Speaker 11: 281-558-5738 apparently early voting.
- 19:57Speaker 9: Is on a lot of people's minds.
- 20:00Speaker 11: And people reaching out to me today letting me know
- 20:02Speaker 11: they early voted heck my brother he's man he was
- 20:05Speaker 11: one of those guys used to be an election day
- 20:07Speaker 11: voter only and man he voted the first day of
- 20:09Speaker 11: early voting And then I had at least three people
- 20:13Speaker 11: that I know of reach out today and They early voted,
- 20:16Speaker 11: which is awesome.
- 20:18Speaker 9: And then Cash O'Lean over there, he went out and
- 20:20Speaker 9: early voted.
- 20:21Speaker 11: Cash, you were telling me something about there was one person,
- 20:23Speaker 11: because we have voter.
- 20:24Speaker 9: ID actually here in Texas.
- 20:26Speaker 11: It's so weird how this voter ID here is in
- 20:28Speaker 11: Texas and it disenfranchises voting, but we've broken the record
- 20:33Speaker 11: for voting every single day of early voting. I'm not
- 20:36Speaker 11: quite sure how this disenfranchising works out, but you said
- 20:39Speaker 11: there was one young lady that was having some issues
- 20:42Speaker 11: voting today?
- 20:43Speaker 10: Oh yeah, no, she and her mom showed up and
- 20:45Speaker 10: I clocked her in line, and I was like, is
- 20:47Speaker 10: she old enough? And she was, but they gave her
- 20:51Speaker 10: the third degree. She was trying to get in there,
- 20:53Speaker 10: and they're like, we don't have you. We don't have you.
- 20:56Speaker 9: She may not have registered. Oh, no, she did.
- 20:58Speaker 10: Her mom was right behind him trying to vote but
- 21:00Speaker 10: also trying to take care of her daughter. And she's like,
- 21:02Speaker 10: she's in there. She's in there. You just got to
- 21:03Speaker 10: let her use her phone.
- 21:05Speaker 9: So did they get it figured out and they got
- 21:06Speaker 9: her taken care of?
- 21:07Speaker 10: Well, they sent her outside and said, we'll let you
- 21:09Speaker 10: back in, but you got to go outside to use
- 21:11Speaker 10: your phone and, you know. Go get your number and
- 21:14Speaker 10: all that. And I was like, oh, man, what a
- 21:16Speaker 10: first time to vote.
- 21:17Speaker 11: Yeah, that's not a fun first experience. But once again,
- 21:21Speaker 11: you know what's hilarious? I've never had an issue ever, ever. Usually,
- 21:26Speaker 11: of course, I would always bring my voter registration that
- 21:28Speaker 11: I had filled out. But now I've got to where
- 21:30Speaker 11: I just bring my ID. So I bring that in
- 21:32Speaker 11: to them. They ask me if I still live there.
- 21:34Speaker 11: I'm like, yep, still do. So boom, I'm in and out.
- 21:40Speaker 11: But I understand that people sometimes people don't register. Sometimes
- 21:43Speaker 11: they register late or whatever. So there's a lot of
- 21:46Speaker 11: things that can happen, but shows that, you know, following
- 21:49Speaker 11: the rules is important. But a lot of people are
- 21:51Speaker 11: talking about early voting.
- 21:52Speaker 9: Once again, it goes.
- 21:53Speaker 11: Through October the 30th, the day before Halloween, Monday through Saturday,
- 21:58Speaker 11: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, noon to 7. Election
- 22:02Speaker 11: Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, 7 a.m.
- 22:03Speaker 6: To 7 p.m.
- 22:05Speaker 9: Harris votes.com.
- 22:07Speaker 11: If you're interested, if you're in Harris County, you want
- 22:10Speaker 11: to go take a look at your, your, I guess,
- 22:13Speaker 11: sample ballot.
- 22:14Speaker 9: Find out.
- 22:15Speaker 12: Cash.
- 22:16Speaker 11: Did you even look at your sample ballot before you
- 22:17Speaker 11: went and voted?
- 22:18Speaker 9: Or did you, did you just, just free wheel it?
- 22:22Speaker 10: Oh, I got a copy of the link letter in
- 22:23Speaker 10: the mail.
- 22:24Speaker 11: Oh, okay.
- 22:25Speaker 9: Well, that's not your, that's not your ballot.
- 22:28Speaker 10: Ah, that's probably not.
- 22:30Speaker 11: That is the link letter. And I'll just say this.
- 22:33Speaker 11: We know his daughter, her name is Sarah. I think
- 22:37Speaker 11: she has something to do with that. Did you send
- 22:40Speaker 11: you a personal one that was signed by her?
- 22:43Speaker 10: No, but I'd never gotten one, so thank you, Sarah.
- 22:45Speaker 10: I'm pretty sure I gave her a card, and all
- 22:47Speaker 10: of a sudden I started getting a link letter. I
- 22:49Speaker 10: was like, oh, okay.
- 22:50Speaker 18: See?
- 22:51Speaker 9: That's it.
- 22:52Speaker 11: Busted. Man, it's going to be weird when you receive
- 22:56Speaker 11: that link letter when you're working on the moon.
- 22:58Speaker 9: That's going to be weird.
- 23:00Speaker 10: That'll just be a testament to USPS, you know?
- 23:03Speaker 9: Yeah, that's true.
- 23:05Speaker 11: Now, here's my question. I know they're going to be
- 23:07Speaker 11: doing the space station on the moon. They're going to
- 23:10Speaker 11: have a colony, I guess. And then eventually that's going
- 23:12Speaker 11: to lead to where Elon Musk is going to go.
- 23:14Speaker 11: And then they're going to jump from the moon to
- 23:17Speaker 11: go to Mars. So are you going to try to,
- 23:20Speaker 11: you know, hitchhike, maybe jump on a ship and go
- 23:22Speaker 11: to Mars, too?
- 23:23Speaker 9: Or are you just going to stop at the moon?
- 23:24Speaker 9: Do you have aspirations?
- 23:26Speaker 10: We'll see how it goes. I might polyshore it up.
- 23:28Speaker 10: You never know.
- 23:33Speaker 9: Man, I don't know. I wonder how good the grindage
- 23:34Speaker 9: is on the moon.
- 23:37Speaker 10: It's more about the roughage these days.
- 23:39Speaker 11: Especially with Pauly these days. I watched his new short
- 23:42Speaker 11: with Nick Swardson. That was pretty funny. It's actually pretty good. Now,
- 23:45Speaker 11: here's my question. If you're on the moon and you're working,
- 23:49Speaker 11: are they going to have, like, convenience stores? And if
- 23:51Speaker 11: they do, are you going to be wheezing the juice?
- 23:54Speaker 10: Oh, no doubt.
- 23:55Speaker 5: Of course.
- 23:56Speaker 10: If it's available.
- 23:58Speaker 9: No wheezing the juice. No wheezing the juice.
- 24:00Speaker 10: But on the moon?
- 24:02Speaker 11: Well, yeah, it'd be funny, though, because I don't know
- 24:05Speaker 11: what the gravity is like. So as you try to
- 24:08Speaker 11: wheeze the juice, do you actually have to get under
- 24:09Speaker 11: it or can you get above the machine and.
- 24:12Speaker 9: Wheeze the juice? I don't know.
- 24:16Speaker 11: And if you dig up an Encino man there, I'm
- 24:18Speaker 11: going to be impressed. Anywho, okay, so, by the way,
- 24:21Speaker 11: I ran out of time to cover the things I
- 24:24Speaker 11: was going to discuss today. I've got a lot to cover,
- 24:27Speaker 11: but we'll cover whatever you.
- 24:28Speaker 9: Guys want to.
- 24:28Speaker 11: It is our Friday show on Thursday, 281558 KACV. A
- 24:33Speaker 11: 52-year-old man was hospitalized today after a crash involving ICE
- 24:36Speaker 11: agents during a pursuit, that means a chase, in northwest
- 24:40Speaker 11: Harris County. Apparently the guy crashed into ICE agents, ran
- 24:43Speaker 11: in a ditch, And then ran, but they apprehended him,
- 24:48Speaker 11: took him into custody.
- 24:49Speaker 9: He was injured.
- 24:50Speaker 11: He started experiencing chest pains and then was taken by
- 24:53Speaker 11: ambulance to a local hospital where he was listed in
- 24:56Speaker 11: stable condition. That would be me. If I was running
- 25:00Speaker 11: from ice or whatever, that would, it would be so slow.
- 25:02Speaker 11: Cause it'd be afraid to have a heart attack. That's
- 25:06Speaker 11: a weird thing too, about getting older. When you're younger,
- 25:08Speaker 11: you have no fear. You don't think anything. You get
- 25:10Speaker 11: a little older.
- 25:10Speaker 9: It's like, you know, if I tried to do that,
- 25:13Speaker 9: I might have a heart attack.
- 25:15Speaker 11: The sheriff's office is investigating the crash in consultation with
- 25:18Speaker 11: the Harris County District Attorney's Office. In all fairness, as
- 25:21Speaker 11: I mentioned, the illegal alien was probably on his.
- 25:24Speaker 9: Way to go vote.
- 25:25Speaker 11: So he was probably in a hurry. So you got
- 25:27Speaker 11: to give him a little leeway. Fort Bend County Tax
- 25:31Speaker 11: Assessor Collector. I should have had Paul Betancourt come on
- 25:35Speaker 11: and talk about this. Carmen Turner was arrested today.
- 25:38Speaker 9: Again.
- 25:39Speaker 12: Again.
- 25:41Speaker 11: And this time is being charged with a nine-count federal
- 25:43Speaker 11: indictment accusing her of misusing funds as early voting continues. Yes,
- 25:49Speaker 11: this is the same Fort Bend County where they removed
- 25:53Speaker 11: the Fort Bend County judge because he was committing hate
- 25:57Speaker 11: crimes against himself and.
- 25:58Speaker 9: Apparently, I guess, also... Doing illegal things with money. So
- 26:04Speaker 9: he was removed. And then this one is she had
- 26:06Speaker 9: two other employees.
- 26:07Speaker 11: Apparently she had them taking care of her mom or
- 26:10Speaker 11: something and was paying them through the county.
- 26:14Speaker 9: So we got that.
- 26:16Speaker 11: The other thing is a Fox News poll finds that,
- 26:19Speaker 11: you know, while Texas voters favor Republicans generally.
- 26:22Speaker 9: The especially with the U.S.
- 26:24Speaker 11: Senate race, they're giving Republican Governor Greg Abbott an edge
- 26:29Speaker 11: in his reelection bid, according to the polls.
- 26:31Speaker 9: Now, Greg seems to have opened up a bit of
- 26:33Speaker 9: a lead. So we'll see.
- 26:35Speaker 11: But but they say that now last month, Tallarico, Tallarico
- 26:40Speaker 11: was up by two points among likely voters over Ken Paxton.
- 26:45Speaker 11: The new survey released yesterday finds Tallarico and Ken Paxton
- 26:50Speaker 11: tied at 49% among Texas likely voters in the race
- 26:55Speaker 11: to replace John Cornyn. Now, John Cornyn has come out
- 26:58Speaker 11: now recently and said he's voting for the ticket, and
- 27:00Speaker 11: he's never strayed from that, and he's definitely.
- 27:03Speaker 9: Voting for the ticket.
- 27:04Speaker 11: He won't say he's voting for Ken Paxton personally, but
- 27:07Speaker 11: he said he's voting for the ticket.
- 27:08Speaker 5: Okay.
- 27:12Speaker 17: Way to.
- 27:13Speaker 9: A lot of gray area there, John.
- 27:17Speaker 11: But does anyone besides me notice a pattern now that
- 27:21Speaker 11: all of the polls in these really heated races miraculously
- 27:26Speaker 11: end up tied as we head into the election these days?
- 27:28Speaker 11: I mean, I'm not saying that the networks are doing
- 27:31Speaker 11: this on purpose to get people to watch on election night,
- 27:35Speaker 11: but that's exactly what they're doing. This is why we
- 27:37Speaker 11: don't trust the polls anymore. I'm not saying that it
- 27:42Speaker 11: isn't a close race.
- 27:43Speaker 9: Excuse me. I'm not saying it's not close at all.
- 27:46Speaker 11: But does anyone find it crazy that it's always tied?
- 27:51Speaker 11: Somehow it just gets tied, leading to a photo finish
- 27:55Speaker 11: on Election Day, which means you better tune in because
- 27:58Speaker 11: they're chasing all the views and clicks they can get
- 28:01Speaker 11: for every election. And then, of course, the fake poll.
- 28:08Speaker 11: There's at least two fake polling agencies that have come out.
- 28:12Speaker 11: Something that isn't fake, which is very weird. Representative Ilhan Omar.
- 28:17Speaker 11: Now I'm hearing that's not even her real name.
- 28:19Speaker 9: OK.
- 28:21Speaker 11: It's called allegations that she married her brother insane. But
- 28:25Speaker 11: then didn't entirely close the door to the possibility that.
- 28:31Speaker 11: of being related to her ex-husband. When MS Now's Chris
- 28:35Speaker 11: Hayes asked whether she married her brother, well, this was
- 28:39Speaker 11: her response.
- 28:42Speaker 9: Listen and decide for yourself. Who was this.
- 28:45Speaker 6: Man that was your husband?
- 28:47Speaker 24: When did they start saying that he was your brother?
- 28:49Speaker 6: Why?
- 28:49Speaker 18: It started with the Somali blog. I don't know if
- 28:56Speaker 18: it still exists, but somebody put in there that he
- 29:00Speaker 18: had to have been my brother or something to that effect.
- 29:03Speaker 6: You were not related to him at all.
- 29:05Speaker 25: Not to my knowledge.
- 29:10Speaker 11: She said not to her knowledge. She doesn't know she's
- 29:14Speaker 11: related to the guy. She's not making things better. And
- 29:20Speaker 11: then they went on and, of course, they were talking about,
- 29:23Speaker 11: you know, her income. There were some issues with that.
- 29:27Speaker 11: And she described herself as working class and living paycheck
- 29:34Speaker 11: to paycheck when asked about her current financial situation in
- 29:38Speaker 11: light of documents where Omar suggested that she and her
- 29:40Speaker 11: husband had a combined net worth of some $ 30 million,
- 29:44Speaker 11: which she claimed was an accounting error, a mistake, and
- 29:47Speaker 11: it was revised down to basically $ 100, 000 or less. She says,
- 29:52Speaker 11: I have a Toyota Camry that's from 2016. It's only
- 29:55Speaker 11: our only car. I rent my D.C. place and my
- 30:02Speaker 11: Minneapolis place. And so, I mean, I don't know. That
- 30:05Speaker 11: sounds like not the majority of Congress, but there's some
- 30:08Speaker 11: of us that don't come from wealth and don't have wealth.
- 30:10Speaker 11: But you told us your combined net worth was $ 30 million,
- 30:14Speaker 11: and then you revised it down to nothing. I'm not
- 30:22Speaker 11: saying that she's a lying Somali pirate, but she's a
- 30:25Speaker 11: lying Somali pirate. Former White House press secretary, Caroline Leavitt—
- 30:31Speaker 11: She says she's helping President Trump choose his next press
- 30:33Speaker 11: secretary after his first pick to replace her for the
- 30:38Speaker 11: job lasted merely five days. So they go and talk
- 30:42Speaker 11: about Katie Zachariah and God bless her and hope the
- 30:44Speaker 11: best for her. But she just wasn't wasn't a good
- 30:47Speaker 11: fit for the job.
- 30:48Speaker 9: She made it. She barely, she didn't even make it
- 30:50Speaker 9: past one press conference. So there's that.
- 30:52Speaker 11: And then another thing that's quietly being ignored by the
- 30:56Speaker 11: lamestreams is jobless claims fall to a 57-year low. The
- 31:03Speaker 11: historic stretch of low layoffs in the U.S. economy continued
- 31:06Speaker 11: through last week. Applications for unemployment benefits fell by 6,000
- 31:11Speaker 11: to 194,000 in the week ending of October 17th, according
- 31:15Speaker 11: to the Labor Department that was released today.
- 31:19Speaker 9: All right, tell you what, we're way over.
- 31:20Speaker 11: Let's take a break. Looks like we got El Senador
- 31:23Speaker 11: on the line. May have some breaking news.
- 31:26Speaker 9: Okay, let's take a break.
- 31:26Speaker 11: It'll be a very short break. Hold on for me,
- 31:28Speaker 11: El Senador, Uncle Paul. We'll pick up with him when
- 31:31Speaker 11: we come back. He only calls when it's really important
- 31:34Speaker 11: or there's some breaking news. And the thing is, I'm
- 31:38Speaker 11: always a little upset because the breaking news is never
- 31:41Speaker 11: Chris X, we have free pizza for you. That's never
- 31:43Speaker 11: the breaking news. It's actual real news. So we will
- 31:49Speaker 11: catch up with El Senador, Paul Betancourt, immediately on a return.
- 31:53Speaker 9: We've also got a bunch of calls coming in. So
- 31:55Speaker 9: if you want to join.
- 31:56Speaker 11: Us, it is our Friday show on Thursday, 281-558-KSCV. We'll
- 32:00Speaker 11: come back, catch up with Senator Betancourt on the other side.
- 32:05Speaker 6: You're listening to Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio. On
- 32:09Speaker 6: The Voice of Texas.
- 32:12Speaker 26: In the race for governor, it's chaos versus common sense. First,
- 32:16Speaker 26: the chaos brought to you by Gina Hinojosa. She supports
- 32:19Speaker 26: open border policies so anyone can just walk in illegally.
- 32:23Speaker 26: And once they do, Hinojosa would allow them to vote
- 32:26Speaker 26: and get taxpayer funded health care. Gina Hinojosa favors a
- 32:30Speaker 26: state income tax and voted 40 times for higher property taxes.
- 32:34Speaker 26: And Hinojosa would threaten your safety because she supports defunding
- 32:37Speaker 26: the police and letting violent criminals out of jail.
- 32:41Speaker 2: But don't worry, because Governor Greg Abbott leads with common sense.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Abbott secured the border and cracked down on the deadly
- 32:48Speaker 2: drug cartels.
- 32:49Speaker 6: He banned a state income.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Tax so you keep more of your money and Texas
- 32:53Speaker 2: remains number one in job creation. And Governor Abbott keeps
- 32:56Speaker 2: you safe by fully funding the police and keeping violent
- 32:59Speaker 2: criminals locked up.
- 33:01Speaker 6: That's the choice, Texas.

- 33:08Speaker 9: Political ad paid for by Texans for Greg Abbott.

- 34:51Speaker 28: Looking ahead to Monday, expect a mix of sunshine and

- 35:06Speaker 3: And now, back to Chris X Radio on the Voice
- 35:10Speaker 3: of Texas.
- 35:17Speaker 11: A little Bobby Boucher action.
- 35:20Speaker 9: That's Lenny Grimes. But it's in the movie. The Waterboy.
- 35:28Speaker 11: But mama said, mama said. All right, welcome back to
- 35:32Speaker 11: Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man. All right, let's
- 35:36Speaker 11: go ahead and go right to the phones. In fact,
- 35:38Speaker 11: we need to pick up with our roving reporter today.
- 35:41Speaker 11: He'll be the ringleader of the Amigos tomorrow, every Friday
- 35:45Speaker 11: from 4 to 6. El Senador Paul Bettencourt joins us
- 35:48Speaker 11: here now live. May have some breaking news for us.
- 35:50Speaker 11: El Senador, thanks for being here.
- 35:53Speaker 4: Always got breaking news for X-Man, okay? And first off,
- 35:57Speaker 4: let's tack on Carmen Turner, who is the soon-to-be former
- 36:02Speaker 4: tax assessor collector in... Fort Bend County. I'm sure you've
- 36:06Speaker 4: already chatted about it briefly. Go to Team X. Everybody
- 36:10Speaker 4: go to Team X and retweet and like Uncle Paul's tweet.
- 36:14Speaker 4: Here's why. This is like ridiculous corruption. This gal has
- 36:19Speaker 4: already been booked on bankruptcy fraud. And here's what the
- 36:24Speaker 4: Fed found out. OK, the Fed found out that she
- 36:28Speaker 4: was paying a person working for an airline in Chicago
- 36:32Speaker 4: to Give me a ringing bell if Chris X can
- 36:36Speaker 4: get this right, Lucas. What airline is out of Chicago?
- 36:40Speaker 4: Who would that be?
- 36:41Speaker 9: Gee, I don't know.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Chris, what would you say?
- 36:46Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 36:47Speaker 4: It starts with a U.
- 36:48Speaker 11: I mean, would it be United maybe?
- 36:51Speaker 4: The Friendly Skies? Okay, we'll find out. Anyway, so she's
- 36:54Speaker 4: paying this guy who's a full-time employee so she can
- 36:58Speaker 4: get a kickback on the salary. That's for $ 27, 000 bucks. Now,
- 37:04Speaker 4: she's also paying people out of her tax office budget
- 37:09Speaker 4: to take care of her mother at home. Now, this
- 37:16Speaker 4: is the level of Democrat officeholder, and she's trying to
- 37:22Speaker 4: compete with Carla Wyatt and Harris, okay, for being the
- 37:27Speaker 4: most corrupt, okay? So we've got a corrupt county treasurer
- 37:31Speaker 4: here and a corrupt tax assessor in Fort Bend. And
- 37:37Speaker 4: I want to give a hats off to Aaron Reitz,
- 37:39Speaker 4: who is the new federal first U.S. attorney. He's going
- 37:44Speaker 4: to come on the show tomorrow at 520 and give
- 37:46Speaker 4: us an update. He ran for, as you know, Chris,
- 37:50Speaker 4: he ran for AG, did a good job, didn't make
- 37:54Speaker 4: the runoff, and is now doing a really good job
- 37:57Speaker 4: cracking down on corruption. These corruption cases are like low-hanging
- 38:04Speaker 4: fruit that is rotting on the ground waiting to get
- 38:07Speaker 4: picked up.
- 38:09Speaker 9: You know, El Senador, first of all, it's always good
- 38:12Speaker 9: to get the news. So it's weird.
- 38:13Speaker 11: You've got this Fort Bend County tax assessor collector, Carmen Turner,
- 38:18Speaker 11: who's now once again arrested again. This time it's nine
- 38:21Speaker 11: count federal indictment. So there's that going on. I know
- 38:24Speaker 11: you served as the tax assessor collector.
- 38:27Speaker 9: In Harris County. You ever have any issues like this,
- 38:29Speaker 9: El Senador? I don't think you did.
- 38:30Speaker 4: I don't remember.
- 38:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:32Speaker 4: You know, I mean, I was having people, you know,
- 38:35Speaker 4: Work all over the country. It's so preposterous, Chris. It's
- 38:41Speaker 4: so corrupt. And because somehow this got involved in a
- 38:48Speaker 4: federal case, so at least the U.S. attorney. Now, Aaron
- 38:53Speaker 4: Rees is a tough guy. He's going to start cracking down.
- 38:56Speaker 4: We're going to find out a lot more fraud. Because
- 38:59Speaker 4: when he was on the.
- 39:00Speaker 9: Program, when he ran for AG, I had him on
- 39:03Speaker 9: the program. You're right.
- 39:04Speaker 11: He's a serious guy, and I'm glad he got appointed.
- 39:07Speaker 11: So obviously he's doing a fine job.
- 39:09Speaker 9: Here's the other thing, too.
- 39:11Speaker 11: In Fort Bend County, well, at least this is the
- 39:12Speaker 11: only Democrat who's gotten in trouble with the law. No,
- 39:15Speaker 11: it's not. We saw what happened with the Fort Bend
- 39:17Speaker 11: County judge. That guy got in all kinds of trouble
- 39:20Speaker 11: committing hate crimes against himself and was embezzling money or
- 39:24Speaker 11: whatever he was doing.
- 39:25Speaker 4: Yeah, that's KP George, and then he switched parties, and
- 39:28Speaker 4: then mercifully he got single digits and the Republican Party
- 39:33Speaker 4: primary was toast. Okay?
- 39:35Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Now, by the way, the DA down there, Middleton, was
- 39:38Speaker 4: the one that did that prosecution. So you have to
- 39:41Speaker 4: give him credit. He's the Democrat because he was, you know,
- 39:44Speaker 4: focused on a Democrat officeholder.
- 39:46Speaker 29: Yeah.
- 39:46Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 39:47Speaker 4: But what doesn't happen in Harris County? Look, have you
- 39:50Speaker 4: seen the video, okay, of Carla Wyatt basically ramming cars
- 39:55Speaker 4: on 45? Yes, I have.
- 39:56Speaker 9: It's bizarre.
- 40:00Speaker 4: You need to go to my Facebook post at Team
- 40:03Speaker 4: Betancourt or Vote Betancourt. Go, and I want everybody to
- 40:07Speaker 4: go there. But first off, do like or retweet the
- 40:10Speaker 4: X on Carmen Turner, okay? And then go to my
- 40:14Speaker 4: Facebook post, and you will see The wildest thing where
- 40:18Speaker 4: she's lucky she didn't kill somebody, including herself. After she
- 40:23Speaker 4: rams three cars and then the gal in front puts
- 40:26Speaker 4: on the brakes to keep them from being pancaked into
- 40:29Speaker 4: a semi, she's late for a meeting. Now, it is
- 40:35Speaker 4: up to the public to take this person out in
- 40:38Speaker 4: the November election. So I've got a post up that says,
- 40:41Speaker 4: I don't care that we're a Democrat, independent, Republican, third party.
- 40:45Speaker 4: You look at this video. She's already been indicted three
- 40:48Speaker 4: times before, by the way, two DWIs and a theft charge.
- 40:53Speaker 4: And decide whether she won't resign, whether you should make
- 40:57Speaker 4: her resign by voting her out of office.
- 41:01Speaker 11: She tried to get herself a 300% raise, which didn't happen,
- 41:05Speaker 11: which is good. I have watched the video. And by
- 41:07Speaker 11: the way, as customary, as soon as you mentioned it,
- 41:09Speaker 11: I went.
- 41:10Speaker 12: To action and retweeted Team Betancourt.
- 41:11Speaker 9: So I always make sure I do that.
- 41:13Speaker 4: It's like Pavlov's dog, right?
- 41:15Speaker 14: It is.
- 41:16Speaker 9: There's that ringing bell.
- 41:17Speaker 4: Hit the tweet. Yeah, retweet or share.
- 41:19Speaker 11: Right, go.
- 41:19Speaker 4: There we go.
- 41:20Speaker 9: There's the ringing bell. There we go.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Lucas is with us before he goes and becomes a
- 41:26Speaker 4: NASA contractor or whatever.
- 41:27Speaker 9: Okay, great.
- 41:28Speaker 11: He's going to be working at a space station on
- 41:30Speaker 11: the moon. That's what I think he's going to be doing. Nonetheless,
- 41:33Speaker 11: but I have watched the video of Carla White, and
- 41:35Speaker 11: it's a bizarre video because it doesn't make any sense
- 41:38Speaker 11: why she just keeps crashing into cars, and then they
- 41:41Speaker 11: didn't test her for DWI. But then there's a report.
- 41:44Speaker 11: I saw our good friend Holly Hansen said that somebody
- 41:46Speaker 11: else is doing reporting that when she went for her,
- 41:49Speaker 11: you know, mandatory drug.
- 41:51Speaker 9: Testing and all that, she failed. She was drunk.
- 41:53Speaker 11: So this woman clearly has an issue. And I think
- 41:56Speaker 11: you guys broke the news on Friday because you're all
- 41:58Speaker 11: about breaking news. A citizen, Louie LaRoda, has filed a
- 42:02Speaker 11: lawsuit to have her removed from the position. I'm assuming
- 42:06Speaker 11: that that's probably not going to happen before Election Day, Senator.
- 42:09Speaker 9: Do you know?
- 42:10Speaker 4: Unfortunately not, okay, because that's the administrative judge, Susan Brown,
- 42:16Speaker 4: has to assign it to an out-of-county judge. But look,
- 42:23Speaker 4: I mean, three times, she's got a rap sheet three
- 42:26Speaker 4: times long on her arm. She gets into this wreck.
- 42:30Speaker 4: Why they didn't test her immediately for alcohol on a
- 42:33Speaker 4: wreck like that, I have no idea. It's crazy. But
- 42:38Speaker 4: but the it was Andy Taylor, who was Lewis Loretta's attorney, said, hey, yeah,
- 42:43Speaker 4: she's been violating her parole. OK, because she's on DWI
- 42:47Speaker 4: and she's gone down twice. Third time's a felony.
- 42:50Speaker 12: You're gone.
- 42:52Speaker 4: So but this is what's happened. This person is clearly
- 42:56Speaker 4: not capable of doing the job. There is corruption around
- 43:00Speaker 4: her and people don't take her out of office if.
- 43:05Speaker 4: You know, I mean, Johnny Holmes would have had her
- 43:08Speaker 4: gone 25 years ago, okay? But not John Deere because
- 43:16Speaker 4: he gets a second grand jury to overrule the first
- 43:19Speaker 4: grand jury that had her rifling through somebody's car in
- 43:23Speaker 4: some petty theft operation. Now, this could be, you know,
- 43:28Speaker 4: I don't even know what her problems are. It's obviously
- 43:31Speaker 4: very multiple, okay? But the public has to remember to
- 43:36Speaker 4: vote her out. And look, on that Facebook post that
- 43:39Speaker 4: I've got, I'm challenging everybody. I said, look, you look
- 43:42Speaker 4: at it. We've got over 300,000 votes in Harris County
- 43:45Speaker 4: already in the can. That's my breaking news here for
- 43:48Speaker 4: the next, for a couple more minutes here. And, you know,
- 43:53Speaker 4: and it's very lopsided, you know, Dean Independence versus Republicans.
- 43:59Speaker 4: So it's going to take people voting the truth. which
- 44:04Speaker 4: is Carla Wade can't be in that job. And it's
- 44:07Speaker 4: just like Carmen Turner shouldn't have been in that job
- 44:10Speaker 4: down to Fort Bend. And you just can't let these
- 44:13Speaker 4: corrupt officials just hang around.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Because then everybody else says, well, why be straight? Why
- 44:20Speaker 4: not be corrupt? Okay. Why not have my employees taking
- 44:24Speaker 4: care of my, my mother at home? It's my money.
- 44:27Speaker 4: It's not the public's money. I mean, it is so
- 44:30Speaker 4: horribly wrong, Chris. It just makes me sick.
- 44:34Speaker 9: And corruption breeds more corruption.
- 44:36Speaker 4: As a former tax officer, it just makes me sick
- 44:37Speaker 4: to see this stuff in county government.
- 44:39Speaker 11: I can't imagine how much it drives you crazy. It
- 44:41Speaker 11: drives me crazy. And I'm not a former tax assessor collector.
- 44:44Speaker 11: And the most salient point that you make, right now
- 44:47Speaker 11: we have the opportunity to get out and vote Carla
- 44:50Speaker 11: Wyatt out. We got Mark Coward. We all reach out
- 44:52Speaker 11: and get him on the program next week. But he's
- 44:55Speaker 11: running against her. We actually have an alternative to vote
- 44:58Speaker 11: for someone that is not rife with corruption, that does
- 45:01Speaker 11: not have multiple DWIs and problems breaking into people's cars
- 45:04Speaker 11: and things. You actually have the opportunity. But the problem
- 45:08Speaker 11: is that you point out is when you're in Democrat counties,
- 45:12Speaker 11: they tend not to look at anything other than that
- 45:14Speaker 11: D next to their name and vote for them, which
- 45:15Speaker 11: is why it is so important for all of.
- 45:17Speaker 9: Us to get out and vote.
- 45:19Speaker 4: Now, breaking news, okay? Now, don't my MAGA Republicans run
- 45:26Speaker 4: off the road when they hear this, okay? We've had
- 45:29Speaker 4: three days of record early voting. The news is not
- 45:32Speaker 4: good for them. Because there is, in Harris County, we've
- 45:37Speaker 4: racked up over, the party has it, at 327,000 total votes.
- 45:39Speaker 4: It's off the charts. It's 73% more turnout than 2018.
- 45:41Speaker 4: And it is 72% Democrat and Independent, only 28% Republican. Now,
- 45:45Speaker 4: the numbers have moved up about one point up.
- 45:46Speaker 18: Okay? And....
- 46:02Speaker 4: The Democrat numbers have come down slightly. That's because ballot
- 46:05Speaker 4: by mail gets dumped in the first day, and that's
- 46:07Speaker 4: generally very highly Democrat. And then independent numbers have swapped out.
- 46:12Speaker 4: So a little bit of movement, as I predicted, you know,
- 46:16Speaker 4: half a point a day, this type of stuff, it's
- 46:18Speaker 4: a game of inches. But blockbuster turnout off the charts, okay?
- 46:27Speaker 4: And And this is something that we talked about last week,
- 46:32Speaker 4: because I've been saying this on Amigos. My prediction is
- 46:36Speaker 4: that Paxton will not get out of the upper 30s
- 46:39Speaker 4: in Harris County. There's just too much downward pressure on
- 46:44Speaker 4: these numbers. And the previous low point was Senator Cruz
- 46:49Speaker 4: at 41 six years ago. So unfortunately, Chris, what happens
- 46:55Speaker 4: is that in these type of downdrafts, the red boat,
- 46:59Speaker 4: the bow of the boat gets buried in the blue wave,
- 47:02Speaker 4: and then the water washes down the deck. And then
- 47:05Speaker 4: at some point in time, you hope it falls off
- 47:07Speaker 4: and people pop back up to.
- 47:09Speaker 24: The surface, okay?
- 47:12Speaker 4: And that happened in 2008 when I and seven, six
- 47:17Speaker 4: other Republicans survived. 56 were defeated. And basically... You know,
- 47:26Speaker 4: starting at the county judge at the time, the district
- 47:29Speaker 4: attorney and the tax assessor, you know, we popped back
- 47:33Speaker 4: up about 50%. So we've seen these type of waves,
- 47:36Speaker 4: but we're in one. And so every vote counts because
- 47:40Speaker 4: it's just an understanding of, you know, like in 2018,
- 47:45Speaker 4: somebody should have on, Mike Schofield, okay? He lost by
- 47:49Speaker 4: 113 votes. Dwayne Bohack, somebody might want on. He's in
- 47:54Speaker 4: the Abbott team. He won an election after walking the
- 47:58Speaker 4: district three times by 47 votes. So when you look
- 48:02Speaker 4: at all this stuff down at a micro level, every
- 48:04Speaker 4: vote counts because these district races are there, whether you're,
- 48:08Speaker 4: you know, you're waiting for you to come vote. And,
- 48:13Speaker 4: you know, you're going to if you're voting at the
- 48:15Speaker 4: top of the ticket, you need to go all the
- 48:17Speaker 4: way down and vote in these district races, too. But
- 48:21Speaker 4: that's the breaking news. It's not the news that people
- 48:24Speaker 4: want to hear, but it's the real news.
- 48:27Speaker 11: Well, and it's early enough. There's a lot of time
- 48:29Speaker 11: left so we can try to get people out. And then,
- 48:31Speaker 11: of course, Republicans tend to turn out on Election Day.
- 48:33Speaker 11: The other thing is, too, is we're getting historic turnouts
- 48:36Speaker 11: in Montgomery County, the very red counties as well.
- 48:39Speaker 9: So that may offset some of this. But you're right.
- 48:41Speaker 11: When you're talking about Harris County, then that doesn't bode
- 48:44Speaker 11: well for necessarily.
- 48:45Speaker 9: For Harris County.
- 48:46Speaker 11: OK, we're very sure. In fact, we're way over time.
- 48:48Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, so I've blown two breaks. So, you know,
- 48:51Speaker 4: you blew one, I blew one. So we're out of here.
- 48:53Speaker 4: Listen to the Amigos. We're going to have a speaker
- 48:57Speaker 4: of the Texas House on right from the get-go. So
- 49:01Speaker 4: it's going to be, you know, Dustin Burrow's great program tomorrow,
- 49:04Speaker 4: and you have a great weekend, Chris.
- 49:06Speaker 9: All right, thank you, El Senador. You, too, have a
- 49:07Speaker 9: great show tomorrow.
- 49:08Speaker 11: El Senador will be back tomorrow with the Amigos, the Judge,
- 49:12Speaker 11: and the Strew with the View. They'll take over tomorrow
- 49:14Speaker 11: from 4 to 6, so make an appointment to tune in.
- 49:16Speaker 11: Already got a bunch of good guests lined up, and
- 49:17Speaker 11: it'll be a great show. All right, don't you go anywhere.
- 49:19Speaker 9: We'll come back and wrap up this first hour on
- 49:21Speaker 9: the other side.
- 49:25Speaker 3: Chris X Radio. Texas born, Texas raised. The Voice of Texas.
- 49:31Speaker 30: This is Senator Paul Betancourt asking for your vote for
- 49:34Speaker 30: Dennis Paul, Senate District 11. I know Dennis well. He's
- 49:38Speaker 30: a strong state representative for property tax cuts. A conservative
- 49:42Speaker 30: businessman and engineer who gets the job done in Austin.
- 49:45Speaker 30: Vote for Dennis Paul.
- 49:47Speaker 11: Thanks, Paul.
- 49:48Speaker 16: We'll fight to cut property taxes, lower insurance costs, and
- 49:51Speaker 16: work on regional flood control in the Texas Senate. Go
- 49:53Speaker 16: to DennisPaul.com for more information. I ask for your vote Tuesday,
- 49:57Speaker 16: November 3rd. Political ad paid for by the friends of
- 50:00Speaker 16: Dennis Paul Pack.
- 50:01Speaker 31: Autumn magic, stirring memories of the Texas Renaissance Festival. Family
- 50:05Speaker 31: and friends celebrating again in a kingdom of treasures with

- 50:30Speaker 32: Huzzah!
- 50:32Speaker 15: The voters of the state of Texas versus James Tallarico.
- 50:35Speaker 20: Ms.
- 50:35Speaker 6: Lindsay, questions?
- 50:37Speaker 33: Sure do.
- 50:38Speaker 27: Mr.
- 50:38Speaker 25: Tallarico, I've heard a lot of your fancy talk, so
- 50:41Speaker 25: let's just stick to the facts. Why did you vote
- 50:43Speaker 25: against prohibiting biological men from competing in women's sports? Why
- 50:47Speaker 25: did you vote against providing funds to protect our border
- 50:50Speaker 25: from illegal immigration? You voted to place massive new regulations
- 50:54Speaker 25: on the oil patch, the lifeblood of our economy. Your
- 50:57Speaker 25: silence says it all.
- 50:58Speaker 20: Mr.
- 50:59Speaker 25: Tallarico, you would vote in Washington the same way you
- 51:01Speaker 25: voted here. More taxes, open borders again, bigger government. That's
- 51:06Speaker 25: not what Texans want.
- 51:08Speaker 6: Case closed.
- 51:10Speaker 15: Ken Paxton knows what Texans want, and he's proven it.
- 51:14Speaker 15: Successful crime fighter, protecting children and parents and the border.

- 52:06Speaker 9: have yourself a cigar. It is our Friday show on Thursdays.
- 52:11Speaker 6: Welcome back.
- 52:12Speaker 9: There's not enough time. You guys on the phone, hold on.
- 52:14Speaker 11: I promise when we come back from the break on
- 52:17Speaker 11: the other side, I'll definitely go right to the callers.
- 52:20Speaker 9: So we got, looks like James in South Houston.
- 52:22Speaker 11: Hold on.
- 52:22Speaker 9: We can talk about H-CAD.
- 52:23Speaker 11: And then it looks like we got a murder hornet. Oh, no,
- 52:28Speaker 11: he's a screw worm out in Pearland. So we'll go
- 52:30Speaker 11: to him as well. I want to thank El Senador
- 52:32Speaker 11: for the breaking news. Always good to hear from him.
- 52:35Speaker 11: And he breaks it down. The former tax assessor collector
- 52:39Speaker 11: who had no improprieties whatsoever. And then, boy, we're talking
- 52:43Speaker 11: about Carmen Turner out of Fort Bend County, along with
- 52:46Speaker 11: Judge KP George, as he mentioned. And then, of course,
- 52:49Speaker 11: we got Carla Wyatt here in Harris County is the
- 52:53Speaker 11: Harris County treasurer. It's these corruptocrats, these corrupt Democrats. And
- 52:57Speaker 11: we have a choice that we can go bump these
- 53:00Speaker 11: people out.
- 53:02Speaker 9: It's hard.
- 53:03Speaker 11: It's an uphill battle. But we got to do it.
- 53:07Speaker 11: We've got to get out and vote, at least, you know,
- 53:09Speaker 11: the old adage. You can't run away, folks. There's nowhere
- 53:12Speaker 11: on God's green earth you can't run to where these
- 53:15Speaker 11: Democrats won't hunt you down to rule over you. So
- 53:18Speaker 11: when you see corruption, you've got to hit it. And
- 53:20Speaker 11: Carla Wyatt is corrupt. And Mark Howard, I'll get him
- 53:22Speaker 11: on the program next week. We actually have time to
- 53:25Speaker 11: really talk about his race and what's going on. You've
- 53:27Speaker 11: actually got a good choice.
- 53:28Speaker 29: All right.
- 53:28Speaker 9: Hour number two is up next.
- 53:29Speaker 6: Don't you go anywhere.
- 53:30Speaker 9: We'll be right back. Well, thank you for joining us
- 53:33Speaker 9: with the breaking news.

- 53:50Speaker 33: A fiery final debate in Michigan where polls showed the
- 53:53Speaker 33: race extremely tight between Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Socialist
- 53:57Speaker 33: Abdul El-Sayed for the open Senate seat. Correspondent Laura Winters reports.
- 54:03Speaker 35: Former Congressman Mike Rogers, who sat on the House Intel
- 54:06Speaker 35: Committee and also served in the FBI, questioning Abdul El-Sayed's possible.
- 54:10Speaker 9: Connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 54:12Speaker 35: Tweets and text messages indicate his mother, sister, and half-sister

- 54:19Speaker 22: Are you for America or are you for these terrorist
- 54:22Speaker 22: groups overseas?
- 54:23Speaker 35: To which al-Sayed responds.
- 54:25Speaker 9: To.
- 54:25Speaker 14: Bring it to question, my commitment to the Constitution is
- 54:28Speaker 14: really beneath you.
- 54:30Speaker 9: I am proud of America. I'm proud to be an American.
- 54:32Speaker 36: I'm proud of our Constitution that guarantees all of us
- 54:35Speaker 36: the right to pray as we choose to pray.
- 54:37Speaker 35: Laura Winters reporting.
- 54:38Speaker 33: An expert is offering some tips on reducing neck and
- 54:41Speaker 33: back issues for desk jobs. Correspondent Tammy Trujillo has details.
- 54:46Speaker 7: Andrew Bang, a chiropractor at the Cleveland Clinic, says sitting
- 54:48Speaker 7: for long periods with poor posture can result in aches.
- 54:51Speaker 9: And pains and tension.
- 54:53Speaker 37: Every hour you're feeling like you need to crack your neck,
- 54:55Speaker 37: that's a key indicator. That's your flashing dashboard light. Hey,
- 54:59Speaker 37: I've got to change up my posture. My ergonomics is
- 55:01Speaker 37: obviously off. You don't need to be a specialist to
- 55:03Speaker 37: know that.
- 55:04Speaker 7: He recommends raising your laptop on a stack of books
- 55:06Speaker 7: or a box to make the computer screen at eye level.
- 55:09Speaker 7: And he says to think about a separate keyboard and
- 55:11Speaker 7: mouse to help prevent that hunched over position. He also
- 55:14Speaker 7: suggests getting up and moving once an hour. I'm Tammy Trujillo.

- 57:06Speaker 22: Call 281-441-4179. From KSEV, here's political contributor Ben Strewsand.
- 57:14Speaker 36: Most polling shows that Republicans are going to have a
- 57:17Speaker 36: tough time winning majorities in both houses of Congress in November.
- 57:22Speaker 36: Voters blame Trump for inflation and believe that many of
- 57:26Speaker 36: the necessities they need to purchase have become unaffordable. Two
- 57:30Speaker 36: out of three voters don't believe that preventing Iran from
- 57:33Speaker 36: building a nuclear weapon is worth the higher gas prices
- 57:37Speaker 36: that they are paying. Voters never give a president credit
- 57:40Speaker 36: for preventing bad things like a nuclear war from happening.
- 57:44Speaker 36: President Trump should realize by now that the Islamic Republic
- 57:47Speaker 36: will never agree to a deal that results in a
- 57:50Speaker 36: Trump win. The mullahs read the polls and see the
- 57:53Speaker 36: domestic political pressure to end the war. It's part of
- 57:56Speaker 36: their strategy. We should stop chasing a bad deal. This
- 58:00Speaker 36: does not mean that we should resume unlimited airstrikes, but
- 58:04Speaker 36: rather targeted decapitation strikes against their leadership, as the Israelis
- 58:10Speaker 36: used effectively. If Iranian leaders won't cut a deal, then let's.
- 58:14Speaker 6: Get new ones.
- 58:15Speaker 11: The real leverage we.
- 58:16Speaker 36: Have against Iran is economic. We destroyed what Iran took
- 58:21Speaker 36: decades to build, their defense industrial base used to manufacture drones, missiles,
- 58:27Speaker 36: and nuclear weapons. Inflation in Iran is running at 40%.
- 58:31Speaker 36: The blockade collapsed the revenue stream used by the Revolutionary
- 58:37Speaker 36: Guard Corps, their security services, and all the government infrastructure.
- 58:42Speaker 36: If our blockade is allowed to continue and not stopped
- 58:46Speaker 36: by Democrats and a few lame duck Republicans in Congress,
- 58:50Speaker 36: we can eliminate the mullah's leverage over its people. We
- 58:54Speaker 36: don't need regime change to pressure them into a better
- 58:58Speaker 36: deal for us.
- 58:59Speaker 11: Just perseverance.
- 59:01Speaker 36: Intercepting what leaks out via Iran's shadow tanker fleet will
- 59:05Speaker 36: speed the process. The best guess is this pressure will
- 59:09Speaker 36: take I'm Ben Strewsand, and that's my view. Ben Strewsand,

- 59:25Speaker 38: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 59:28Speaker 38: tracking charts and reminding us to be prepared for big storms.
- 59:32Speaker 38: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 59:34Speaker 38: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 59:38Speaker 38: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 59:42Speaker 38: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 59:47Speaker 38: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 59:50Speaker 38: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 59:52Speaker 38: completely blown over and tree limbs broken. causing terrible damage
- 59:56Speaker 38: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 1:00:00Speaker 38: sap will ooze, and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 1:00:03Speaker 38: need to call Louis Flory today at 281-441-4179 and have
- 1:00:09Speaker 38: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 1:00:13Speaker 38: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.

- 1:00:49Speaker 5: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: the people of this country.
- 1:00:53Speaker 12: This message must be read in every newspaper, heard on
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: every radio, seen.
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: On every television.
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: And now, your host.
- 1:01:04Speaker 22: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: Chris X.
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: Man, Cash, that was a fast first hour, wasn't it?
- 1:01:26Speaker 10: I mean, it's already the second hour, right?
- 1:01:30Speaker 9: Yeah, it already is.
- 1:01:32Speaker 11: All right, good evening and welcome to the second hour
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: of Chris X Radio. It is our Friday show on Thursday.
- 1:01:39Speaker 11: We'll talk about whatever is on your mind. I want
- 1:01:42Speaker 11: to thank El Senador Paul Bettencourt for joining us with
- 1:01:44Speaker 11: breaking news in the first hour. So he's given us
- 1:01:47Speaker 11: some early voting totals, which doesn't sound great for us
- 1:01:51Speaker 11: in Harris County, for those on our side. But the
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: other counties may be making up for it a little bit.
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: So we'll see. But nonetheless, it was that.
- 1:01:58Speaker 11: And then, of course, what's happening in Fort Bend County
- 1:02:01Speaker 11: with their tax assessor collector, Carmen Turner, who was arrested today, again,
- 1:02:07Speaker 11: charged with a nine count federal indictment. Aaron writes, as
- 1:02:10Speaker 11: I said, he's going after public corruption. He's going to
- 1:02:15Speaker 11: be on the Amigos tomorrow from 4 to 6. The
- 1:02:18Speaker 11: Amigos air every Friday from 4 to 6 here on
- 1:02:21Speaker 11: The Voice of Texas. So make sure to tune in
- 1:02:23Speaker 11: and check out the Amigos with El Senador, who just
- 1:02:26Speaker 11: joined us, and then the judge, and Astru with a
- 1:02:28Speaker 11: view and a long line of good guests. I always
- 1:02:30Speaker 11: bring out the good guests, so tomorrow will be a
- 1:02:33Speaker 11: good show. But until then, if you want to join us,
- 1:02:35Speaker 11: we'll talk about whatever is on your mind. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:02:43Speaker 11: Early voting continues today. Early voting is going on through
- 1:02:46Speaker 11: October the 30th, Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday,
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: noon to 7 p.m. And then Election Day is Tuesday,
- 1:02:54Speaker 11: November 3rd, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- 1:02:55Speaker 9: So, man, it's... It is coming. It'll be here before
- 1:03:01Speaker 9: you know it.
- 1:03:01Speaker 11: And a lot of people have gotten out and voted,
- 1:03:03Speaker 11: including Cash. He went out and early voted today. So
- 1:03:06Speaker 11: I plan to probably early vote tomorrow.
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: But anyway, it is our Friday show on Thursday. All right,
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: I'm going to go to the phones.
- 1:03:12Speaker 11: I do believe we have an open line or two
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: if you want to get in. 281-558-KSCV.
- 1:03:19Speaker 18: 281-558-5738.
- 1:03:19Speaker 11: Let's go to James, who's listening in Southwest Houston. James,
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: thank you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:03:26Speaker 24: Hey, Chris.
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: I got a.
- 1:03:29Speaker 24: a flyer hung on my door. And let's just say
- 1:03:33Speaker 24: it's by a party that's supporting Tallarico and Hinojoso and
- 1:03:39Speaker 24: all the rest of them. Anyway, they had a note
- 1:03:44Speaker 24: on here, also on your ballot, nonpartisan races. These races
- 1:03:49Speaker 24: will not have a D or R next to their name,
- 1:03:52Speaker 24: but are still very important. These are recommended by the
- 1:03:56Speaker 24: Bay Area Democratic Movement. And it's the HCAD votes on
- 1:04:02Speaker 24: the ballot, HCAD 1, 2, and 3. And I just
- 1:04:06Speaker 24: wanted to mention these names so that people know which
- 1:04:09Speaker 24: one to vote for because I doubt that we're getting
- 1:04:11Speaker 24: very good information on this.
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:04:17Speaker 12: No, absolutely.
- 1:04:17Speaker 9: Mention their names.
- 1:04:18Speaker 11: These are the ones that are recommended by the Democrat Party, correct?
- 1:04:22Speaker 39: Correct.
- 1:04:23Speaker 27: Correct.
- 1:04:24Speaker 9: The first one.
- 1:04:26Speaker 24: Is District 1. It's a lady named Kathy Bluford Daniels.
- 1:04:32Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:04:34Speaker 24: The second one is District 2. It's somebody named Chris Ellinger, E-H-L-I-N-G-E-R.
- 1:04:44Speaker 24: The third one is somebody named Kristen Devon Moses, C-R-I-S-T-I-N.
- 1:04:51Speaker 24: I mean, Chris, I mean, we're getting.
- 1:04:55Speaker 24: OK, this is Harris County, obviously. We're getting killed by,
- 1:05:00Speaker 24: I mean, just terrible messaging. I mean, we had everybody
- 1:05:05Speaker 24: talking about what a great landslide Trump had. And the
- 1:05:07Speaker 24: truth is, four out of the five swing states, the
- 1:05:12Speaker 24: Senate races, we lost. We lost seats in the House.
- 1:05:15Speaker 24: It's not a landslide, but everybody said it was a landslide.
- 1:05:20Speaker 24: Maybe it's a landslide for Trump, but he had like 200,000
- 1:05:24Speaker 24: votes between all seven states, more or less separating them
- 1:05:27Speaker 24: from defeat. And I just think we got way too
- 1:05:31Speaker 24: much complacency on the Republican side. I am so frustrated.
- 1:05:35Speaker 24: Everybody's talking about how this is going to turn out great.
- 1:05:38Speaker 24: Everything's going to go well. But we're losing in the
- 1:05:41Speaker 24: cities and the big counties. And, you know, Paul Betancourt
- 1:05:45Speaker 24: just brought that– To everybody's attention, I hope people get
- 1:05:49Speaker 24: out and vote.
- 1:05:52Speaker 9: Yeah, no, I mean, thank you for the call, James.
- 1:05:55Speaker 11: I appreciate it, and I'm glad you brought those names
- 1:05:57Speaker 11: up so people can know who to avoid. You're in
- 1:06:01Speaker 11: Harris County. Well, and I'm in Harris County. Understand it
- 1:06:05Speaker 11: turned blue back in 2018, and they're going to do
- 1:06:07Speaker 11: everything they can to keep it blue, which Democrats always
- 1:06:11Speaker 11: lead in early voting, mail-in voting, almost always. So it's
- 1:06:15Speaker 11: not out of the ordinary. But if Republicans are starting
- 1:06:17Speaker 11: to turn out and can offset that a little bit,
- 1:06:20Speaker 11: that makes it much better going into Election Day, which
- 1:06:22Speaker 11: we have to do.
- 1:06:23Speaker 9: So I agree with your assessment. We got to get out.
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: We got to vote. It is extremely frustrating.
- 1:06:29Speaker 11: Because once again, you've got these corrupt Democrats. So there's
- 1:06:32Speaker 11: that aspect of it. And then, of course, who they endorse.
- 1:06:35Speaker 11: You obviously want to steer clear of all of anyone
- 1:06:37Speaker 11: they're endorsing. So there's that aspect of it. I wouldn't
- 1:06:41Speaker 11: be discouraged because at this point, not that I'm doubting
- 1:06:45Speaker 11: anything that Senator just, you know, told us about, you know,
- 1:06:48Speaker 11: 71 percent roughly of Democrats are turning out in Harris County.
- 1:06:52Speaker 11: That shouldn't... The only people that should be upset by
- 1:06:56Speaker 11: that are people that haven't been paying attention. Now, don't
- 1:07:01Speaker 11: get me wrong, I don't like it. I wish it
- 1:07:04Speaker 11: wasn't that way. But understand, this is Harris County. It's
- 1:07:09Speaker 11: a blue county.
- 1:07:09Speaker 9: You've got Dallas County.
- 1:07:11Speaker 11: The big cities, you get inside the cities.
- 1:07:14Speaker 9: That's what starts happening. You start seeing that.
- 1:07:16Speaker 11: Now, this is the entire county. So, like I said,
- 1:07:19Speaker 11: there's obviously a chance to offset that a little bit.
- 1:07:21Speaker 11: I do believe that we will be able to offset it. But,
- 1:07:24Speaker 11: once again, as we go through, we need to make
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: sure we keep things in perspective and understand what we're
- 1:07:30Speaker 11: dealing with here because we're dealing with a blue county now.
- 1:07:34Speaker 9: And everyone's trying to, we've got to turn it back.
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: I understand. We've got to work hard.
- 1:07:37Speaker 11: But for anyone to have actually thought the Democrats are
- 1:07:41Speaker 11: just going to roll over and quit and allow Republicans
- 1:07:44Speaker 11: to take back the county, you don't understand Democrats. These
- 1:07:48Speaker 11: are radical people that will hunt you down anywhere on
- 1:07:52Speaker 11: the planet to rule over you. What makes you think,
- 1:07:55Speaker 11: what made anyone think that we're just going to be
- 1:07:57Speaker 11: able to just take it back? We'll just take it back.
- 1:08:00Speaker 11: Everybody agrees with us.
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: We'll take it back.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:08:03Speaker 11: Unfortunately, the vast majority of people do not listen to
- 1:08:06Speaker 11: talk radio. They're not as informed as you or I.
- 1:08:11Speaker 11: So they tend to vote how they're manipulated, and the
- 1:08:13Speaker 11: mainstream media is nothing more than propaganda at this point.
- 1:08:17Speaker 11: Just like there's a reason why James Tallarico is leading
- 1:08:21Speaker 11: in all the polls, and then here we are, it's
- 1:08:23Speaker 11: the election time, and now it's neck and neck, 49 apiece.
- 1:08:26Speaker 20: Huh?
- 1:08:27Speaker 11: Not that I don't trust all the polls, but we
- 1:08:30Speaker 11: have learned the polls can be wildly wrong.
- 1:08:34Speaker 9: But your assessment is absolutely correct. We've got to get out.
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: It is simply the third day of early voting.
- 1:08:40Speaker 11: It is way too early to make any assessment on
- 1:08:44Speaker 11: how this thing is going to turn out.
- 1:08:46Speaker 9: Not that they're not going to win. We don't know.
- 1:08:50Speaker 11: Trump won by a landslide over Kamala, but you're right.
- 1:08:53Speaker 11: And the other states didn't go quite as well as
- 1:08:56Speaker 11: we would have liked to have. And understand, they're not just...
- 1:09:00Speaker 11: going to willingly.
- 1:09:00Speaker 9: Turn things over.
- 1:09:02Speaker 11: There's a reason why when the Democrats took over in 2018,
- 1:09:06Speaker 11: they botched every election with their elections administrators. Oh, yeah,
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: you guys remember, right? Isabel Longoria?
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: Remember her? And then Clifford Tatum?
- 1:09:14Speaker 11: They botched every single election that somehow led to more
- 1:09:19Speaker 11: power and consolidation.
- 1:09:21Speaker 9: Of Democrats in Harris County. That's not an accident.
- 1:09:28Speaker 11: Nothing that happened with those elections administrators were an accident.
- 1:09:32Speaker 11: Republican precincts running out of paper on election day, not
- 1:09:35Speaker 11: an accident. So in other words, it's tough.
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: We got to fight. We got to get in. We
- 1:09:40Speaker 9: got to vote. You're absolutely right.
- 1:09:41Speaker 37: 100%.
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: All right. But don't be discouraged.
- 1:09:49Speaker 11: And I understand it's hard not to be an emotional voter.
- 1:09:53Speaker 9: But don't be discouraged. Don't be emotional. It's easy to
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: get emotional, but don't. Use your brain. Understand what it is.
- 1:10:03Speaker 11: And then, of course, there is also a lot of
- 1:10:05Speaker 11: the conservatives are slowly but surely moving out of these
- 1:10:08Speaker 11: areas while others are moving in.
- 1:10:09Speaker 9: So there is that, too. But, once again, it's not
- 1:10:13Speaker 9: over yet. Not that.
- 1:10:16Speaker 9: I could just say a lot more, but I want
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: to get your phone calls.
- 1:10:18Speaker 11: Thank you for the call.
- 1:10:19Speaker 9: I appreciate it, James.
- 1:10:20Speaker 11: All right, tell you what, let's go to Elizabeth in
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: Montgomery and then we'll get to Robert out in Pearland.
- 1:10:23Speaker 11: Hold on for me, Cracker Smoker. All right, let's go
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: to Elizabeth listening in Montgomery. Elizabeth, thank you for hanging on.
- 1:10:28Speaker 11: Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:10:32Speaker 20: Hi there. I'm kind of nervous talking to you. Thank
- 1:10:35Speaker 20: you for taking my call.
- 1:10:37Speaker 18: Sure.
- 1:10:37Speaker 20: I am very concerned about the messaging of the Republicans.
- 1:10:42Speaker 20: I'm thinking Tallarico instead of talking about what he did
- 1:10:48Speaker 20: in the State House, which was just terrible. We mentioned
- 1:10:52Speaker 20: he's for this, he's for that, but it would be
- 1:10:55Speaker 20: so easy to say, and in the State House he
- 1:10:57Speaker 20: voted for this and that. That would give a little
- 1:11:00Speaker 20: bit of credibility to the campaign. Also, no one has
- 1:11:05Speaker 20: pointed out how he put party over Texans when he
- 1:11:11Speaker 20: left the state and used my taxpayer money. That made
- 1:11:14Speaker 20: me really angry. And a lot of my friends who
- 1:11:16Speaker 20: were Democrats, it made them angry because it was, you know,
- 1:11:20Speaker 20: he just wasn't playing fair, didn't understand that the minority
- 1:11:24Speaker 20: sometimes doesn't win. And so they picked up all their
- 1:11:28Speaker 20: bags and, you know, took a vacation on George Soros'
- 1:11:32Speaker 20: dime up in Illinois or wherever they went to keep
- 1:11:36Speaker 20: us from having a quorum and taking care of business.
- 1:11:39Speaker 20: That was a waste of my money. And there are
- 1:11:42Speaker 20: things that he did on his records that I think
- 1:11:45Speaker 20: would resonate a little more with a lot of people,
- 1:11:48Speaker 20: especially independents, instead of just saying, oh, God is non-binary
- 1:11:54Speaker 20: and all that kind of stuff. Also, it bothers me
- 1:11:58Speaker 20: that we're using that clip, that quote, where he said
- 1:12:03Speaker 20: we should have, you know, the Texas border should be
- 1:12:05Speaker 20: a big welcome mat. But if you listen to the
- 1:12:08Speaker 20: next sentence of that quote, he did say, but the
- 1:12:13Speaker 20: door should have a padlock on it. So, you know,
- 1:12:15Speaker 20: in my mind, that's not the kind of campaigning I
- 1:12:19Speaker 20: expect from Republicans. I just needed to stomp my feet
- 1:12:25Speaker 20: and bet, and you're the lucky guy to get to
- 1:12:29Speaker 20: hear that today. So does any of this make sense?
- 1:12:33Speaker 20: Do you think we could have done.
- 1:12:34Speaker 12: A better job?
- 1:12:35Speaker 11: Well, yes and no, because some of the things that
- 1:12:38Speaker 11: you're asking for has been brought up and been. But
- 1:12:41Speaker 11: once again, you understand there's a finite amount of dollars
- 1:12:44Speaker 11: and they're going to go. There are other people that
- 1:12:46Speaker 11: are making these decisions, not you or I. And they're
- 1:12:48Speaker 11: going with you would think a normal, logical minded person
- 1:12:51Speaker 11: when someone says there are six sexes. and says God
- 1:12:54Speaker 11: is non-binary and I just daydream about the trans children.
- 1:12:57Speaker 11: You think that would be enough for logical-minded people to
- 1:13:00Speaker 11: avoid that candidate? But unfortunately, they know that the vast
- 1:13:04Speaker 11: majority of people, just like you, Elizabeth, are not listening
- 1:13:06Speaker 11: to talk radio. They're not like you. They're not informed
- 1:13:10Speaker 11: like you are. The vast majority of people are easily manipulated.
- 1:13:14Speaker 11: And it is a very difficult hurdle to bypass the
- 1:13:18Speaker 11: lamestream media, the propaganda apparatus of the Democrat cult.
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: It is hard.
- 1:13:22Speaker 11: And that's why Tallarico got the big head start on funding.
- 1:13:26Speaker 11: So he got the big head start with the primary continuing.
- 1:13:28Speaker 11: We had the runoff between Cornyn and Paxton.
- 1:13:31Speaker 9: So there was that.
- 1:13:32Speaker 11: So the money came in late. But that being said,
- 1:13:34Speaker 11: according to the latest Fox News poll, they're dead heat,
- 1:13:36Speaker 11: 49 apiece. So it'll go into Election Day. We don't
- 1:13:40Speaker 11: know what's going to happen. We don't know. He's pretty
- 1:13:42Speaker 11: sure Tallarico is going to win, you know, Harris County.
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: He'll win blue counties. But the red counties, the vast,
- 1:13:48Speaker 11: if you go look at the counties in the state,
- 1:13:51Speaker 11: the vast majority of them are solid red. So will
- 1:13:55Speaker 11: that be enough to offset? That's what happened in the
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: case of, you know, with Beto O'Rourke. with Cruz winning.
- 1:14:01Speaker 11: So we'll have to wait and see. We can always
- 1:14:04Speaker 11: second guess messaging. We can always, you know, armchair quarterback
- 1:14:08Speaker 11: who said what, when, where, why, and how, and who did,
- 1:14:10Speaker 11: who was the best. But that being said, I would
- 1:14:13Speaker 11: have thought just simply playing James Tallarico's words would what
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: he has done. And if you've listened to this program,
- 1:14:20Speaker 11: which obviously you're listening to it now, I have said repeatedly,
- 1:14:24Speaker 11: he has run a campaign against everything that he has
- 1:14:27Speaker 11: voted for, advocated for, and said over the last eight
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: years in the Texas state house. And I've seen commercials
- 1:14:38Speaker 11: basically echoing that sentiment.
- 1:14:40Speaker 9: So they're out there.
- 1:14:41Speaker 11: It's just a matter of where you're at, whether you're
- 1:14:43Speaker 11: getting that messaging, those commercials, because advertising dollars are finite
- 1:14:47Speaker 11: and they're much more targeted than they used to be.
- 1:14:50Speaker 11: So but but could the messaging been better? I think
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: always could be better. But I don't know necessarily how
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: bad it is. I do think it was a little late,
- 1:14:59Speaker 11: but it may be right on time.
- 1:15:01Speaker 9: We'll just have to wait and see.
- 1:15:03Speaker 11: Still another week for the election. Another week of early voting.
- 1:15:07Speaker 11: And I can guarantee you this. In all of those
- 1:15:09Speaker 11: red counties, James Tallarico is not winning. Will he win
- 1:15:14Speaker 11: by enough of a margin in the big blue counties
- 1:15:16Speaker 11: and maybe the blue counties along the border? Possibly.
- 1:15:19Speaker 9: But when it comes to the vast majority of the state, no.
- 1:15:23Speaker 9: But I'm with you.
- 1:15:24Speaker 11: I do not want to turn over our state to
- 1:15:26Speaker 11: a radical, basically a DSA candidate like James Tallarico because
- 1:15:31Speaker 11: he's a total weirdo. All right, let's take a break,
- 1:15:33Speaker 11: and when we come back, then we actually– Robert in Pearland,
- 1:15:35Speaker 11: you're up next, I promise. So we got Robert out
- 1:15:37Speaker 11: in Pearland, and then we got– it looks like Louie
- 1:15:38Speaker 11: the ladies' man. If you want to get in, I
- 1:15:41Speaker 11: do believe we have an open line or two at 281-558-KSCV.
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: It is our Friday show on Thursday, so we'll talk
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: about whatever is on your mind.
- 1:15:49Speaker 11: I mean, I got plenty to cover, but on our
- 1:15:52Speaker 11: Friday show on Thursday, we like to make sure that
- 1:15:55Speaker 11: it lets you guys speak your mind. And we just
- 1:15:57Speaker 11: had two in a row speaking their mind.
- 1:15:59Speaker 18: 281-558-5738.
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: You're listening to Chris X Radio. We'll be right back,
- 1:16:04Speaker 11: and we'll go right to the phones. We'll go out
- 1:16:05Speaker 11: to Pearland, catch up with the old screw worm.
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: Chris X Radio. Radio.

- 1:18:11Speaker 11: Quality plans managed by you, not the government.
- 1:18:20Speaker 13: As a Texan, you deserve your court system to deliver
- 1:18:23Speaker 13: justice that is fair, understandable, and within reach. Chief Justice
- 1:18:28Speaker 13: Jimmy Blacklock says that starts with judges applying the law
- 1:18:31Speaker 13: as written, so the rules don't change depending on who
- 1:18:34Speaker 13: walks into the courtroom. But fairness also means a court
- 1:18:37Speaker 13: system that works for the people it serves. Blacklock has
- 1:18:40Speaker 13: called for reducing unnecessary delays and expenses, simplifying court procedures,
- 1:18:45Speaker 13: and making legal services more affordable. Because a case should
- 1:18:49Speaker 13: be decided on the facts and the law, not on
- 1:18:51Speaker 13: who can afford the longest fight. Texas courts belong to
- 1:18:55Speaker 13: the people. That means judges should be accountable, rules should
- 1:18:58Speaker 13: be clear, and the system should be accessible to those
- 1:19:01Speaker 13: who rely on it. For Blacklock, equal justice.
- 1:19:04Speaker 11: Means more than a principle.
- 1:19:06Speaker 13: It means a court system Texans can understand, trust, and
- 1:19:09Speaker 13: afford to use. Chief Justice Jimmy Blacklock.
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: Clear rules.
- 1:19:14Speaker 13: Accountable courts. Equal justice under law.
- 1:19:17Speaker 11: Political ad paid for by the Jimmy Blacklock campaign.
- 1:19:20Speaker 10: Hi, this is Michael Biller.

- 1:20:08Speaker 40: this weekend for the Backyard Bay radio program, now at
- 1:20:11Speaker 40: our new time, every Saturday morning at 9 a.m., right
- 1:20:15Speaker 40: here on The Voice.
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: And now, back to Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: On the voice of Texas.
- 1:20:25Speaker 11: It's only 25 or 64.
- 1:20:34Speaker 9: I think we're 25 or 66.
- 1:20:37Speaker 11: Maybe a little bit. I think we're 35 or 34
- 1:20:41Speaker 11: to 6. Welcome back to Chris X Radio. Glad to
- 1:20:45Speaker 11: have you here with us. Remember, we're in the middle
- 1:20:47Speaker 11: of early voting.
- 1:20:48Speaker 9: Once again, nobody give up on anything.
- 1:20:50Speaker 11: Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
- 1:20:53Speaker 11: Or the Germans bombed Pearl Bailey? I think that's a
- 1:20:59Speaker 11: Bluto comment.
- 1:21:01Speaker 9: You guys are going to know that.
- 1:21:02Speaker 11: Anyway, welcome back to the program. Glad to have you
- 1:21:04Speaker 11: here with us. Early voting is underway. It goes until
- 1:21:07Speaker 11: 7 p.m. tonight, Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
- 1:21:12Speaker 11: noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday, and then Election Day
- 1:21:15Speaker 11: is Tuesday, November 3rd, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Once again,
- 1:21:19Speaker 11: early voting ends on October 30th, the day before Halloween,
- 1:21:23Speaker 11: which falls on a Saturday, which means it's probably going
- 1:21:25Speaker 11: to be crazy out there.
- 1:21:27Speaker 9: So, guys, once again, don't give up. If anything, get motivated.
- 1:21:31Speaker 11: And we're not going to win them all. Well, we
- 1:21:36Speaker 11: should go to the phones. In fact, let's go right
- 1:21:37Speaker 11: to the phones.
- 1:21:39Speaker 9: 281-558-KSCV. When you hear somebody drop off the line, you'll
- 1:21:42Speaker 9: be able to get in.
- 1:21:43Speaker 11: 281-558-5738. Let's go out to the old murder hornet in Pearland. Robert,
- 1:21:48Speaker 11: thank you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:21:52Speaker 29: Thanks, Chris. Can you hear me okay?
- 1:21:54Speaker 9: I can hear you just fine. Did you get a
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: new Chinese phone?
- 1:21:57Speaker 29: No, I just have the same old Chinese phone, but
- 1:21:59Speaker 29: a better attitude. As it gets closer to the end,
- 1:22:03Speaker 29: let me know, so I'll do my last part on Tallarico.
- 1:22:06Speaker 29: So mentally, Ilhan Omar, I can't know the difference between $ 30, 000
- 1:22:13Speaker 29: and $ 30 million with my poor education from Somalia.
- 1:22:19Speaker 9: But she should be in charge of everybody else. Got it.
- 1:22:22Speaker 29: That's a high-quality issue of mathematics. Looks like no cash
- 1:22:26Speaker 29: might come into a lot of cash. because I have
- 1:22:30Speaker 29: it on good authority that he is slotted by NASA
- 1:22:33Speaker 29: to go further than he thought. Now he's slated to
- 1:22:36Speaker 29: go to a deeper, darker planet where I also understand
- 1:22:39Speaker 29: it doesn't smell very good.
- 1:22:40Speaker 11: Hmm, I wonder what planet that could be. I thought
- 1:22:44Speaker 11: he was just stopping at the moon, but it could
- 1:22:46Speaker 11: be just a layover. A layover?
- 1:22:49Speaker 29: Hey, no catch. You're doing a pretty good job over there.
- 1:22:52Speaker 29: Thank you, and you're welcome. Tell your mother I said hi.
- 1:22:55Speaker 29: Sorry about that madness, but I'm desperate for any material.
- 1:22:57Speaker 29: I'm running out of options after seven years. I can't
- 1:23:00Speaker 29: ever use any joke twice. That's Chris's rule. Sorry to
- 1:23:03Speaker 29: go no cash, but low cash doesn't fit with the
- 1:23:05Speaker 29: current pay scale at KSUV. You probably have to pay
- 1:23:09Speaker 29: them over there.
- 1:23:11Speaker 9: He does. Absolutely.
- 1:23:12Speaker 11: He couldn't afford to work here any longer. He had
- 1:23:14Speaker 11: to go get a job where he actually gets paid.
- 1:23:18Speaker 29: It's the direction of the money that matters. Speaking of
- 1:23:21Speaker 29: mob guys. Hey, Tommy Two-Tone, what's your story, man? Hey,
- 1:23:26Speaker 29: khaki plaid shirt over there. You ever notice, Chris, how
- 1:23:30Speaker 29: Brooklyn Italians, how they identify everybody by their outfits? Yo,
- 1:23:35Speaker 29: T-shirt and cargo pants, what's up with you? What's going
- 1:23:38Speaker 29: on over there? By the way, why is nothing ever here?
- 1:23:42Speaker 29: Everything is always over there. It's always somewhere else.
- 1:23:47Speaker 12: What's up with.
- 1:23:48Speaker 29: That over there?
- 1:23:49Speaker 41: You know, they never are living in the moment.
- 1:23:51Speaker 29: You know, right here, right now. I'm right here. Over there. Hey, Joe,
- 1:23:56Speaker 29: I don't speak Spanish. Socks that don't match and stain
- 1:24:00Speaker 29: on your sleeve. Hold on, nobody can see it.
- 1:24:02Speaker 39: Where you going, huh?
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: Over there.
- 1:24:04Speaker 33: Get out of here.
- 1:24:05Speaker 29: Over there.
- 1:24:06Speaker 9: I don't speak Spanish, so I don't know what they're saying.
- 1:24:10Speaker 29: Say that again?
- 1:24:11Speaker 9: I said I don't speak Spanish. I have no idea
- 1:24:13Speaker 9: what they're saying.
- 1:24:14Speaker 29: No problema, señor. So last week, 200 trees in the D.C.
- 1:24:19Speaker 29: area on the municipal golf course were felled, and it
- 1:24:22Speaker 29: is an unrelated news item. Chip Beresford has suddenly increased
- 1:24:26Speaker 29: his inventory of pine boxes to cover the whole next year,
- 1:24:30Speaker 29: especially if the Bayou Vampires maintain their volume. Halloween is coming.
- 1:24:34Speaker 29: There could be a spike in bitings. Did you know
- 1:24:38Speaker 29: that I've known Chris Chip Beresford for 40 years, and
- 1:24:42Speaker 29: I still couldn't pick him out of a lineup? So anyhow...
- 1:24:47Speaker 29: Here we go with our buddy Chris. There is a
- 1:24:49Speaker 29: senatorial candidate just finished two weeks at a local sanitarium.
- 1:24:54Speaker 29: I have an unreliable source from an inside man that
- 1:24:58Speaker 29: when the candidate arrived, all of his adoring subjects raised
- 1:25:02Speaker 29: their voices in triumph. King Plunger Rico has returned to
- 1:25:07Speaker 29: his kingdom to take care of their bathroom and to
- 1:25:09Speaker 29: bring peace to his maniacal followers. They dropped... to their
- 1:25:14Speaker 29: knees and subjugated themselves to his policies and platforms, and
- 1:25:18Speaker 29: he sat in a royal toilet that they brought into
- 1:25:21Speaker 29: the day room, placed a toilet brush in his hand
- 1:25:24Speaker 29: for a scepter, placed a shower curtain gently on his
- 1:25:27Speaker 29: feminine shoulders, representing his mantle. Then they crowned him carefully
- 1:25:32Speaker 29: with a toilet seat wreath of regal majesty on his
- 1:25:35Speaker 29: furrowed brow. Yes, The almighty king of crap returned to
- 1:25:39Speaker 29: his birthplace during cheers of trans the children, trans the children.
- 1:25:44Speaker 29: And they broke out into a chorus of, for he's
- 1:25:47Speaker 29: a jolly fellow which nobody can define, which nobody can define,
- 1:25:53Speaker 29: which nobody can define. He's probably a real fellow which
- 1:25:58Speaker 29: nobody can define. Hey, Chris, the inside man was me.
- 1:26:05Speaker 9: Well, thanks for the call, Cracker Smoker Screwworm.
- 1:26:08Speaker 11: I did define him, and I define him as a
- 1:26:10Speaker 11: cosplay cisgender.
- 1:26:12Speaker 9: So we'll leave it at that. All right, we're already over.
- 1:26:14Speaker 11: All right, let's go take a break. Always good to
- 1:26:16Speaker 11: hear from the murder hornet, I think. Or is it
- 1:26:22Speaker 11: the screwworm?
- 1:26:23Speaker 9: I don't know. It was hard to keep up with
- 1:26:25Speaker 9: all that trans Tallarico stuff, but... He can't keep up
- 1:26:28Speaker 9: with how many genders he is.
- 1:26:30Speaker 11: All his sexes live in Texas. All right, you're listening
- 1:26:33Speaker 11: to Chris X Radio. We've got an open line now
- 1:26:34Speaker 11: if you want to try to get in.
- 1:26:38Speaker 9: 281-558-KSEV.
- 1:26:40Speaker 39: 281-558-5738.
- 1:26:40Speaker 11: It is our Friday show on Thursday. We'll talk about
- 1:26:43Speaker 11: whatever is on your mind. Louie the Ladies Man.
- 1:26:46Speaker 9: Hold on, you're up next here on The Voice of Texas.
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: The revolution continues after this. Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 1:27:00Speaker 42: What's worse than a roof that leaks? A roof that
- 1:27:03Speaker 42: leaks after you've spent hundreds of dollars to repair it.
- 1:27:06Speaker 42: This is Deb Tejada from Tejas Roofing and Contracting, Houston's
- 1:27:09Speaker 42: number one roofing and contracting company.
- 1:27:11Speaker 43: We get calls all the time from people who abuse
- 1:27:13Speaker 43: flight-by-night contractors to repair their storm damage. They spend a
- 1:27:17Speaker 43: day on the roof, collect your money, and you never
- 1:27:19Speaker 43: hear from them again.
- 1:27:20Speaker 42: And the roof still leaks. Why put yourself through that?
- 1:27:23Speaker 42: Use a contractor with a verifiable history of experience. Hay
- 1:27:26Speaker 42: House Roofing and Contracting, A-plus rated by the BBB, certified
- 1:27:30Speaker 42: master elite contractors with GAF.
- 1:27:33Speaker 43: Our experienced crews have been working together, repairing and replacing
- 1:27:36Speaker 43: roofs in Houston.
- 1:27:37Speaker 11: For over 40 years.
- 1:27:38Speaker 43: This work is top-notch and the roof won't leak. The
- 1:27:41Speaker 43: cleanup is second to none. You won't even know we've
- 1:27:44Speaker 43: been there.
- 1:27:44Speaker 42: Go to TejasRoofing.com or call us at 281-251-0304. When you
- 1:27:50Speaker 42: need roofing repairs, a new roof, or remodeling, call us
- 1:27:53Speaker 42: at Tejas Roofing. 281-251-0304.
- 1:27:57Speaker 34: Call Deb today for Tejas Roofing's free beat to winter
- 1:28:00Speaker 34: weather roof inspection.
- 1:28:02Speaker 13: Harris County just passed one of the highest property tax
- 1:28:05Speaker 13: increases in history.
- 1:28:06Speaker 11: Hi, this is Steve Drake.
- 1:28:07Speaker 13: That's why I'm supporting Orlando Sanchez for county judge.
- 1:28:10Speaker 44: As a Houston City Council member, I helped cut property
- 1:28:13Speaker 44: taxes for the first time in decades. As county treasurer
- 1:28:16Speaker 44: for 12 years, we balanced the books and protected taxpayers.
- 1:28:20Speaker 44: I'll cut the tax rate in my first budget, root
- 1:28:22Speaker 44: out waste, and put families first.
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: Vote for Orlando Sanchez for Harris County judge.
- 1:28:27Speaker 34: Political ad paid for by the Orlando Sanchez campaign.
- 1:28:30Speaker 8: This is Kevin O'Hara with O'Hara & Company Real Estate
- 1:28:33Speaker 8: in O'Hara Homes. I'm going to pose some questions that
- 1:28:36Speaker 8: you might want to research. Why was JFK assassinated?
- 1:28:39Speaker 6: Did we really kill him?
- 1:28:40Speaker 9: Land on the moon?
- 1:28:41Speaker 8: Is Earth really a globe, and is it the size
- 1:28:44Speaker 8: they tell us it is? Did 9-11 happen the way
- 1:28:46Speaker 8: we were told? Are pharmaceutical companies really there to cure diseases?
- 1:28:50Speaker 8: Who are doctors trained by? Did God create everything on
- 1:28:54Speaker 8: Earth that we need to stay healthy? Is fluoride in
- 1:28:56Speaker 8: our water really helping us? What are those long trails
- 1:28:59Speaker 8: of clouds left by airplanes and what's in them? Did
- 1:29:03Speaker 8: all the astronauts die in the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion?
- 1:29:06Speaker 8: And is Elvis really dead? I search answers for everything.
- 1:29:10Speaker 8: And if you're searching for a real estate company, give
- 1:29:12Speaker 8: O'Hara Company Real Estate a call at 281-373-3393. Again, that's 281-373-3393.
- 1:29:14Speaker 8: Or look us up on the web at oharare.com. I
- 1:29:24Speaker 8: have a special guest with me, my granddaughter, Bailey.
- 1:29:27Speaker 9: God bless America, God bless Texas, and God bless my mom.
- 1:29:31Speaker 26: In the race for governor, it's chaos versus common sense. First,
- 1:29:35Speaker 26: the chaos, brought to you by Gina Hinojosa. She supports
- 1:29:39Speaker 26: open border policies so anyone can just walk in illegally.
- 1:29:43Speaker 26: And once they do, Hinojosa would allow them to vote
- 1:29:46Speaker 26: and get taxpayer-funded health care. Gina Hinojosa favors a state
- 1:29:49Speaker 26: income tax and voted 40 times for higher property taxes.
- 1:29:53Speaker 26: And Hinojosa would threaten your safety because she supports defunding
- 1:29:57Speaker 26: the police and letting violent criminals out of jail.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: But don't worry, because Governor Greg Abbott leads with common sense.
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: Abbott secured the border and cracked down on the deadly
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: drug cartels.
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: He banned a state income tax.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: So you keep more of your money and Texas remains
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: number one in job creation. And Governor Abbott keeps you
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: safe by fully funding the police and keeping violent criminals
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: locked up.
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: That's the choice, Texas.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: The chaos that Gina Hinojosa would bring or the common-sense
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: leadership of Governor Greg Abbott.
- 1:30:28Speaker 9: Political ad paid for by Texans for Greg Abbott.
- 1:30:31Speaker 28: From the KSCV Weather Center, tonight expect mainly clear skies
- 1:30:35Speaker 28: with a low temperature of 54. Tomorrow will bring plenty
- 1:30:37Speaker 28: of sunshine and warm conditions with a high of 88.
- 1:30:40Speaker 28: Tomorrow night will be clear with a low around 58.
- 1:30:43Speaker 28: As we head into Saturday, anticipate mostly sunny skies and
- 1:30:45Speaker 28: a high reaching 84. On Sunday, the humidity will decrease
- 1:30:49Speaker 28: as some sun shines through with a high of 81.
- 1:30:51Speaker 28: Looking ahead to Monday, expect a mix of sunshine and
- 1:30:53Speaker 28: a few clouds with temperatures reaching a high of 82.
- 1:30:56Speaker 28: With the KSCV Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather Meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 1:31:07Speaker 6: The Voice of Texas. The Voice of Reason. Chris X Radio.
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: Chris X.
- 1:31:13Speaker 18: There you go.
- 1:31:21Speaker 11: A little rush here on a Friday show on Thursday.
- 1:31:26Speaker 9: What is on your mind?
- 1:31:27Speaker 11: Well, it looks like the phones are full again, but
- 1:31:28Speaker 11: when someone drops off the line, you will be able
- 1:31:31Speaker 11: to get in at 2-8-1-5-5-8-5-7-3-8.
- 1:31:32Speaker 9: That is 2-8-1-5-5-8-K-S-E-V.
- 1:31:33Speaker 11: All right, let's go ahead and.
- 1:31:38Speaker 9: Go right back to the phones.
- 1:31:38Speaker 11: I'm going to take as many phone calls as we
- 1:31:40Speaker 11: can here as we are on the fourth day of
- 1:31:43Speaker 11: early voting. Man, early voting is flying by, but we're
- 1:31:47Speaker 11: not even halfway through yet.
- 1:31:48Speaker 9: It goes through the 30th of October. That's next Friday.
- 1:31:53Speaker 9: So we've got a.
- 1:31:53Speaker 11: Whole other week. It's still early. The numbers that El
- 1:31:56Speaker 11: Senador talked about earlier, the Democrat vote early is leveling
- 1:32:00Speaker 11: off a bit, and we were still climbing, so our
- 1:32:03Speaker 11: side needs to keep climbing. So there you go. All right, 281-558-5738.
- 1:32:07Speaker 11: Let's go to Louie, the ladies' man. Louie, thanks for
- 1:32:10Speaker 11: hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:32:12Speaker 39: Yeah. Yes, I just want to say one thing. I
- 1:32:16Speaker 39: had a great cheeseburger. That was the juiciest cheeseburger I
- 1:32:20Speaker 39: ever had. Right here between the corner of Katy Freeway
- 1:32:26Speaker 39: and Highway 6. It's called Nowhere But Texas. But besides that,
- 1:32:32Speaker 39: I just want to tell you this. I'm going to
- 1:32:35Speaker 39: go vote tomorrow morning, early as possible. And do not,
- 1:32:41Speaker 39: by no means, oh, by the way, you Democrats out there,
- 1:32:45Speaker 39: your taxes are going to be raised 7% by, you know,
- 1:32:49Speaker 39: your Harris County. Because, you know, I don't know physically.
- 1:32:54Speaker 39: Hildalgo and her ancestor who was running the show. But
- 1:33:00Speaker 39: what I'm saying to you is sit down at home.
- 1:33:03Speaker 39: Don't worry about boating. And when you're falling, and I'm
- 1:33:08Speaker 39: talking to all my buddies that ride motorcycles. If you
- 1:33:11Speaker 39: don't want your girlfriend behind your bike, if you're riding
- 1:33:15Speaker 39: your girlfriend behind in your bike wearing a birdcage, You
- 1:33:20Speaker 39: better get out there and stop voting.
- 1:33:23Speaker 9: Did you have a couple of drinks with that burger
- 1:33:25Speaker 9: this afternoon?
- 1:33:26Speaker 39: No, I don't drink. You know, I quit drinking.
- 1:33:30Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:33:33Speaker 11: Yeah, I bet you quit drinking just like you quit
- 1:33:35Speaker 11: hanging out with wild women, too.
- 1:33:38Speaker 39: No, I never. Chris, you never seem to hang out
- 1:33:41Speaker 39: with no wild women. You know, it's better to be
- 1:33:45Speaker 39: happy and cheerful just to see that Right in the
- 1:33:49Speaker 39: freaking southern border, there is thousands and thousands of people
- 1:33:53Speaker 39: getting ready to, you know, break through the border because
- 1:33:57Speaker 39: they think, oh, the Democrats are going to win, and
- 1:34:00Speaker 39: then we can take over Texas. Forget about that. I
- 1:34:05Speaker 39: want everybody who's got, you know, testosterone to get your
- 1:34:10Speaker 39: ass out there and vote. I don't want to see
- 1:34:12Speaker 39: no excuses. I want to save my... Texas and my
- 1:34:17Speaker 39: America that I love.
- 1:34:18Speaker 9: That's all I have to say.
- 1:34:21Speaker 11: Well, thank you for the call, Louie. I appreciate it.
- 1:34:22Speaker 11: I need to go try out that burger place because
- 1:34:26Speaker 11: anywhere they have good burgers, I'm down for. So I'm
- 1:34:29Speaker 11: definitely going to have to try that place out. May
- 1:34:31Speaker 11: go meet up with Louie the ladies man and see
- 1:34:34Speaker 11: him not hanging around with ladies and not having any
- 1:34:38Speaker 11: adult beverages.
- 1:34:39Speaker 9: We shall see. All right.
- 1:34:41Speaker 11: Two eight one five five eight KCB two eight one
- 1:34:43Speaker 11: five five eight five seven three eight.
- 1:34:45Speaker 9: His sentiment is correct, though.
- 1:34:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:34:47Speaker 11: Leslie Briones, Adrian Garcia, Rodney Ellis.
- 1:34:50Speaker 9: They're the ones who voted. Oh, they're all Democrats, too,
- 1:34:52Speaker 9: by the way.
- 1:34:53Speaker 11: They're the ones on commissioner's court that voted to raise
- 1:34:55Speaker 11: your taxes. And it's more like 12 percent. But, yeah,
- 1:34:58Speaker 11: they said seven percent. So you didn't get to vote
- 1:35:01Speaker 11: on it. So they made sure they did what they
- 1:35:03Speaker 11: did to make sure you didn't get a choice. They
- 1:35:05Speaker 11: raised your taxes, and then now you've got Adrian Garcia
- 1:35:08Speaker 11: and Leslie Briones running for re-election on affordability after jacking
- 1:35:13Speaker 11: your tax rates as high as they possibly could. Yeah,
- 1:35:16Speaker 11: they're good people. All right, we'll go to Bubba next.
- 1:35:19Speaker 11: All right, 281-558-KSEV. Thanks for the call, Louie.
- 1:35:23Speaker 33: 281-558-5738.
- 1:35:24Speaker 11: Let's go to Bubba listening in the Woodlands. Bubba, thank
- 1:35:27Speaker 11: you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: Hey, rock on, Louis. Hey, Chris, you brought up Magnolia
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: Diner in the last hour there, man. Have you tried Vaquero's?
- 1:35:40Speaker 9: I don't think I have. I don't know what that is.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: It's at Hardin's store in 249. It's the guy that
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: used to be the main cook over at Goodson's. He
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: started his own place, and, man, he's super busy.
- 1:35:54Speaker 41: I've heard some.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Really good stuff about him.
- 1:35:57Speaker 9: And it's in Magnolia?
- 1:35:58Speaker 42: Yeah.
- 1:35:59Speaker 41: Yeah, or kind of.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: In between, like maybe Decker's Prairie, not quite Magnolia, just
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: a little bit past Tomball there.
- 1:36:08Speaker 9: Okay, and it's called Vaccaro's?
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: Vaccaro's Grill or Diner or something like that. It's right
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: there where the old Jack's, J-A-X, hamburgers used to be.
- 1:36:17Speaker 39: Oh, wow.
- 1:36:18Speaker 9: Okay, cool.
- 1:36:19Speaker 11: Well, then I will have to check that out because, man,
- 1:36:21Speaker 11: Goodson's has good food, and I enjoy that. So if
- 1:36:24Speaker 11: he's the original cook over there, chances are he's probably
- 1:36:27Speaker 11: pretty darn good.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: I think so.
- 1:36:32Speaker 9: Is that all you want to talk about today, Bubba?
- 1:36:35Speaker 14: Oh, man.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: Hey, I don't know if you've checked out any of
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: the documentaries that's out there lately, man, but there's a
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: really good one about Rush and another one about Kiss
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: that are really good.
- 1:36:46Speaker 9: Okay, I need to go check this out.
- 1:36:48Speaker 11: I've seen the original documentary on Rush, which is fantastic,
- 1:36:51Speaker 11: and I don't know if there's a new one or
- 1:36:52Speaker 11: if that's the same one. And, yeah, I've seen one
- 1:36:54Speaker 11: that is awesome. But, yeah, those documentaries are amazing. You
- 1:36:59Speaker 11: understand how good these bands really are and what they've
- 1:37:02Speaker 11: actually gone through, which is very cool and behind-the-scenes sort
- 1:37:05Speaker 11: of stuff.
- 1:37:06Speaker 9: Is this the documentary that when– was Neil Peart still
- 1:37:10Speaker 9: alive when this documentary was done, or is this after him?
- 1:37:13Speaker 41: Oh, yeah, yeah, way before.
- 1:37:16Speaker 9: Okay, I've seen them. Yeah, I've seen this one. You're right.
- 1:37:18Speaker 9: It is excellent. I have not seen the Kiss documentary, though.
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: The thing that both groups had in common is they
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: almost got dropped by their labels in the early days
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: because they just weren't selling records. They were wildly popular
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: with the crowds, but they couldn't sell a record hardly.
- 1:37:35Speaker 11: Yeah, and I know that in Rush's case, before they
- 1:37:37Speaker 11: came out with 2112, They were having issues with their label.
- 1:37:41Speaker 11: You're right.
- 1:37:42Speaker 9: They released this crazy.
- 1:37:44Speaker 11: Anthem album, and they thought, okay, this is going to bomb.
- 1:37:46Speaker 9: And, man, it was a hit.
- 1:37:48Speaker 11: And it was a slow hit. It very slowly took off,
- 1:37:50Speaker 11: and then it exploded. But I didn't realize Kiss almost
- 1:37:54Speaker 11: got dropped by their label. That's hard to believe because
- 1:37:57Speaker 11: they seem to have been on top of the world since, what,
- 1:37:59Speaker 11: the mid, early to mid-' 70s?
- 1:38:02Speaker 41: Yeah, but no, in their early days, man.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: In fact, the guy that believed in them, he borrowed
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: money from the mob and all that to keep them
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: going until rock and roll all night came along. It's
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: really something. But anyway, I don't want to take up
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: any more time. I'll drop off, let somebody else get in.
- 1:38:20Speaker 9: All right, thanks for the call, Bubba. Always good to
- 1:38:22Speaker 9: hear from you. Appreciate it. Yeah, I like Magnolia Diner.
- 1:38:25Speaker 11: That place is good. I'll have to check out Vaquero's.
- 1:38:27Speaker 11: You know what's funny is I think I've driven by it.
- 1:38:30Speaker 11: So I remember seeing the sign. So I need to
- 1:38:33Speaker 11: go try that out. I need to look it up
- 1:38:35Speaker 11: and see exactly where it's at. But I feel like
- 1:38:37Speaker 11: I've driven by and seen it. Magnolia Diner is good.
- 1:38:39Speaker 11: I like their chicken fried chicken.
- 1:38:40Speaker 9: Oh, my God. Man, that's a meal for two.
- 1:38:43Speaker 11: I've gone with my girlfriend over there and just, you
- 1:38:45Speaker 11: can cut it in half and both of you eat
- 1:38:47Speaker 11: it and.
- 1:38:47Speaker 9: It's my Lord.
- 1:38:48Speaker 11: And you're stuffed. I'm like, how does one person eat
- 1:38:51Speaker 11: all this? And I generally can't do that. But occasionally, I'll.
- 1:38:57Speaker 9: Go and stuff. Like the other night, I was going
- 1:38:58Speaker 9: to go to... By the way, I went to... Was
- 1:39:01Speaker 9: it Willie's? Willie's Ice House was going to go get their.
- 1:39:06Speaker 11: They've done this before. And I don't know.
- 1:39:08Speaker 9: I didn't stick around. I went up there.
- 1:39:10Speaker 11: I was going to go get the fried mozzarella. And
- 1:39:11Speaker 11: then it wasn't on the menu. Because you order up front.
- 1:39:13Speaker 9: And I was like.
- 1:39:14Speaker 11: So I wanted the fried mozzarella. So I went to
- 1:39:17Speaker 11: Buffalo Wild Wings. And they've got good fried mozzarella. And
- 1:39:21Speaker 11: I ended up getting their... one of their samplers or
- 1:39:24Speaker 11: whatever that had the wings and the sliders and had
- 1:39:27Speaker 11: the mini corn dogs. And then of course it had
- 1:39:29Speaker 11: the mozzarella and it was, it was so good, but
- 1:39:32Speaker 11: I just don't eat that much fried food anymore. So
- 1:39:35Speaker 11: I ate, I ate all, I was really hungry. So
- 1:39:36Speaker 11: I ate all of it. As you guys can attest to,
- 1:39:39Speaker 11: by the time I usually go eat after the program,
- 1:39:42Speaker 11: I'm usually hungry by 4 PM. So when the show's done,
- 1:39:46Speaker 11: I'm starving. Now I should probably have a little snack
- 1:39:49Speaker 11: before the show. But anyway, but I went and had
- 1:39:53Speaker 11: that the other night and man, that was just too
- 1:39:55Speaker 11: much grease overload, but it was good. Those little mini
- 1:39:58Speaker 11: corn dogs were awesome from a Buffalo wild wings. Cause
- 1:40:02Speaker 11: usually if I get a corn dog, I'll go to
- 1:40:04Speaker 11: James Coney Island. I'm the only weirdo that goes to
- 1:40:07Speaker 11: James Coney Island and never gets a hot dog. I'll
- 1:40:10Speaker 11: get a corn dog or the James Coney. Well, the
- 1:40:13Speaker 11: Nolan Ryan grand slam sliders without the onions.
- 1:40:16Speaker 9: Those are delicious. So I like that.
- 1:40:19Speaker 11: So, but I, I've probably gotten hot dogs there maybe
- 1:40:23Speaker 11: twice in my entire life.
- 1:40:25Speaker 9: I just don't.
- 1:40:26Speaker 11: I'm not a big hot dog eater. I just figure
- 1:40:30Speaker 11: James Tallarico eats enough for both of us. All right,
- 1:40:32Speaker 11: let's go ahead and take a break. We can take
- 1:40:36Speaker 11: a break.
- 1:40:38Speaker 9: And even though the screw worm said.
- 1:40:40Speaker 11: You can't label him, I've labeled Mr. Tallarico as the
- 1:40:45Speaker 11: cosplay cisgender because that's what he is. All right, we'll
- 1:40:49Speaker 11: take a break. We've got a couple lines open now,
- 1:40:51Speaker 11: so if you want to get in, we've got one
- 1:40:52Speaker 11: segment remaining.
- 1:40:54Speaker 9: We'll come back and pick up with Sharon and more
- 1:40:56Speaker 9: of your.
- 1:40:56Speaker 11: Calls at 281-558-KSCB, 281-558-5738. We've only got one segment remaining
- 1:41:04Speaker 11: for the week, and the Amigos take over tomorrow.
- 1:41:07Speaker 9: So all chaos reigns tomorrow.
- 1:41:09Speaker 11: They take over. It's a three-ring circus with El Senador
- 1:41:12Speaker 11: being the ringleader and then the judge.
- 1:41:14Speaker 9: He would be the jester. And then it's true with
- 1:41:17Speaker 9: a view. All right, don't you go anywhere.
- 1:41:19Speaker 11: We'll be right back to wrap up today's show and

- 1:42:22Speaker 21: You know, where we go in life matters and what
- 1:42:25Speaker 21: we do matters. And we know that taking the wrong
- 1:42:27Speaker 21: road won't produce the best outcomes. Hi, I'm Kathy with
- 1:42:31Speaker 21: Baker Mortgage. and we want you to take the right
- 1:42:34Speaker 21: path when it comes to your mortgage. You know, we
- 1:42:36Speaker 21: live in a world of information overload, but always consider
- 1:42:39Speaker 21: the source, and these are not generally going to be
- 1:42:42Speaker 21: from your big bank or a random offer that comes
- 1:42:44Speaker 21: across your screen. Remember, you're always going to get a
- 1:42:47Speaker 21: better deal on one that you go looking for than
- 1:42:50Speaker 21: one that comes looking for you. You need to deal
- 1:42:52Speaker 21: with somebody who gives a you-know-what, whether or not you're
- 1:42:55Speaker 21: happy in the end. At Baker Mortgage, we do it right.
- 1:42:58Speaker 21: We haven't been around for 68 years because we're lucky.

- 1:43:37Speaker 6: Mike Schofield, working for us.
- 1:43:39Speaker 19: I believe qualified students applying for good-paying jobs after graduation
- 1:43:44Speaker 19: should have real opportunities. We dedicated over $ 150 million to
- 1:43:49Speaker 19: expand technical education programs across Texas. We need to keep
- 1:43:53Speaker 19: working to help our public school students and teachers. I
- 1:43:56Speaker 19: champion legislation that provides pay raises for public school librarians, counselors, nurses,
- 1:44:01Speaker 19: and teachers who take on harder teaching jobs. I'm Mike
- 1:44:04Speaker 19: Schofield and I will always keep you and.
- 1:44:07Speaker 9: Your family first.
- 1:44:08Speaker 19: As your state representative, I voted to protect our children
- 1:44:12Speaker 19: online by limiting what social media companies can expose your
- 1:44:15Speaker 19: kids to. We passed AI regulations including banning behavioral manipulation,
- 1:44:20Speaker 19: Social scoring and deep fakes. Preventing sexual predators and big
- 1:44:24Speaker 19: tech from preying on our innocent kids. It's important we
- 1:44:27Speaker 19: stay vigilant to protect our families and especially our kids
- 1:44:31Speaker 19: from the criminals that are lurking on the internet. Early
- 1:44:33Speaker 19: voting is going on now. Paid political ad, Mike Schofield campaign.
- 1:44:38Speaker 6: Chris X Radio. Welcome back to.
- 1:44:55Speaker 11: Chris X Radio.
- 1:44:55Speaker 9: You've reached the final segment of the week. That's right.
- 1:44:58Speaker 11: We're done after this. Phone lines are full, so I'm
- 1:45:01Speaker 11: just going to roll through the callers, get as many
- 1:45:02Speaker 11: calls as we can as we wrap up today's show.
- 1:45:05Speaker 9: Make sure you tune in to the Amigos tomorrow from
- 1:45:07Speaker 9: 4 to 6.
- 1:45:08Speaker 11: They're on every Friday from 4 to 6, and then
- 1:45:10Speaker 11: we'll be back, God willing, on Monday as we roll
- 1:45:13Speaker 11: into these fall temperatures. Man, it's a little warmer today,
- 1:45:16Speaker 11: but it's still nice. I mean, with a high of 84,
- 1:45:19Speaker 11: you can't complain.
- 1:45:20Speaker 9: I mean, don't get me wrong.
- 1:45:21Speaker 11: I like the little cooler weather better. But it's nice
- 1:45:25Speaker 11: and cool in the morning. From what I hear, if
- 1:45:28Speaker 11: you go to Mars or the moon, it's cold as hell.
- 1:45:31Speaker 9: That's what I hear.
- 1:45:32Speaker 11: Cash, are you going to bring a little heater with
- 1:45:33Speaker 11: you when you go up and have to live on
- 1:45:35Speaker 11: that colony on the moon for a while while you're working?
- 1:45:38Speaker 10: At the very least, a windbreaker.
- 1:45:41Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:45:41Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:45:43Speaker 11: I don't know if there's any wind on the moon,
- 1:45:44Speaker 11: but I do believe there could be. I don't know
- 1:45:48Speaker 11: if there's anything to break the wind, so.
- 1:45:50Speaker 9: You have to have that windbreaker.
- 1:45:51Speaker 10: There's no cooler jacket, though.
- 1:45:55Speaker 9: This is true.
- 1:45:55Speaker 11: By the way, and Cash, I know you get the
- 1:45:57Speaker 11: tail end of this, but in the 80s, no one
- 1:46:00Speaker 11: fought as hard against the wind as we did as
- 1:46:02Speaker 11: Americans with our windbreakers and our track seats.
- 1:46:05Speaker 9: We fought the wind hard.
- 1:46:07Speaker 11: All right, let's go to the phones. I tell you what,
- 1:46:09Speaker 11: let's go to Al first, listening in West Houston. Al,
- 1:46:11Speaker 11: thank you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:46:15Speaker 41: Thank you, Chris.
- 1:46:16Speaker 12: There was a line where I early voted at Bayland Park,
- 1:46:21Speaker 12: and it's encouraging to see a line And I'm an
- 1:46:25Speaker 12: election worker myself, so when things run well, that's a
- 1:46:31Speaker 12: good thing. So as I voted, though, Chris, there's at
- 1:46:36Speaker 12: least a half dozen judges' positions that only have Democrats available.
- 1:46:43Speaker 12: So I think that's better than what we had two
- 1:46:45Speaker 12: years ago or four years ago.
- 1:46:47Speaker 9: Oh, yeah, definitely.
- 1:46:48Speaker 12: And, you know, if a person just looked at that ballot, Chris,
- 1:46:52Speaker 12: he'd say, man, this is a law-breaking county because the
- 1:46:56Speaker 12: judges go on for 30 or 40 races.
- 1:47:02Speaker 9: Well, it is Harris County, so there's a lot of
- 1:47:05Speaker 9: judges there.
- 1:47:06Speaker 12: Yeah, and it's districts, and it's all over. It's everything
- 1:47:11Speaker 12: except city judges. But, yeah, everything worked well where I voted,
- 1:47:17Speaker 12: and I know some of the workers and everything was good.
- 1:47:23Speaker 12: They all did well. There's only one thing they didn't do, Chris.
- 1:47:28Speaker 9: What's that?
- 1:47:28Speaker 12: I asked them, after they gave me the I voted sticker,
- 1:47:32Speaker 12: I asked them if they had any margaritas for the trip,
- 1:47:35Speaker 12: and they looked at me like, no.
- 1:47:38Speaker 9: Well, that ain't no good.
- 1:47:40Speaker 12: Just because you vote, it doesn't mean that you get
- 1:47:43Speaker 12: a drink at the voting place.
- 1:47:46Speaker 9: I think Louie got one.
- 1:47:47Speaker 11: I imagine he probably somehow wound up.
- 1:47:51Speaker 12: Matter of fact, Chris... I even ask them this. I
- 1:47:55Speaker 12: tell them, you know, that I do a lot of
- 1:47:57Speaker 12: reading about the candidates and I have strong opinions and
- 1:48:00Speaker 12: I listen to KSCV Radio 700. So can I vote
- 1:48:04Speaker 12: five times? And they they answer not only no, but
- 1:48:09Speaker 12: hell no. They don't want any conservatives to have more
- 1:48:15Speaker 12: than one vote.
- 1:48:16Speaker 11: Now, they don't want to let you. They can't let
- 1:48:19Speaker 11: you offset those five.
- 1:48:20Speaker 9: Democrats voting. No, no, no, no, no.
- 1:48:22Speaker 12: That is not how it works. What we want is for,
- 1:48:26Speaker 12: you know, I'm all for every vote counting, even though
- 1:48:29Speaker 12: I don't like the choices some people make. But, yeah,
- 1:48:35Speaker 12: we do have to count every vote. That's what they
- 1:48:37Speaker 12: call a fair election.
- 1:48:39Speaker 9: All right, well, thanks for the call, Al. I appreciate it.
- 1:48:41Speaker 11: All right, let's go to– good job getting out and voting.
- 1:48:45Speaker 11: I'm glad to see it went well over there near Bayland.
- 1:48:47Speaker 11: All right, let's go to Rusty, who's patiently holding in
- 1:48:50Speaker 11: northwest Houston.
- 1:48:51Speaker 9: Rusty, thanks for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:48:55Speaker 41: Yeah, calling today was an adventure in radio, I'll tell you.
- 1:49:00Speaker 41: I called about four times, and it said, nobody is
- 1:49:03Speaker 41: available for your call. And I thought I was blocked.
- 1:49:07Speaker 9: We didn't block you, Rusty. I guess just the lines
- 1:49:09Speaker 9: were full.
- 1:49:11Speaker 41: Yeah, or he had to step away to the little
- 1:49:14Speaker 41: boys' room. But anyway, yeah, the senator, I think he
- 1:49:19Speaker 41: said Harris County was at 71% whenever Cruz won by
- 1:49:22Speaker 41: three points. And so now they're voting at a rate
- 1:49:29Speaker 41: of 73 percent. He was kind of worried. But plus
- 1:49:32Speaker 41: the loss of the Latin American support, you know, over
- 1:49:36Speaker 41: aggressive tactics, you know, might tend to be a Democratic wave,
- 1:49:42Speaker 41: they call it. What do you think about that?
- 1:49:45Speaker 11: I think it's way too early to make any decisions
- 1:49:48Speaker 11: just yet here on the fourth day of early voting.
- 1:49:51Speaker 11: I think to say anything has been decided is kind
- 1:49:53Speaker 11: of crazy. We'll see how it goes. I mean, once
- 1:49:56Speaker 11: it's all said and done, we'll start breaking down. But
- 1:50:00Speaker 11: we shall see. I mean, historically speaking, the Democrats should
- 1:50:02Speaker 11: win handily. But unfortunately, the Democrat Party has far less
- 1:50:06Speaker 11: in common with you these days, Rusty. They're different. They
- 1:50:09Speaker 11: don't like guns, and they don't like Texas, and they
- 1:50:12Speaker 11: like guys like Tallarico. Now, you may be a big
- 1:50:14Speaker 11: Tallarico fan. I imagine you voted for him.
- 1:50:16Speaker 41: I voted yesterday. I'm not going to say who I
- 1:50:22Speaker 41: voted for, but, you know, at least I'm not like Ramaswamy. Man,
- 1:50:28Speaker 41: I can't believe all the support that he's getting after
- 1:50:32Speaker 41: calling the mother of that.
- 1:50:36Speaker 11: First of all, his support is imploding. That was a
- 1:50:39Speaker 11: horrible tactic by his campaign. I think he is crashing
- 1:50:43Speaker 11: and burning his campaign big time. His political career may
- 1:50:47Speaker 11: be done. But you're right, Yates.
- 1:50:48Speaker 9: It's just those kind of tactics are horrible. So we hate.
- 1:50:53Speaker 9: And thanks for the call, Rusty.
- 1:50:54Speaker 11: We got one more call.
- 1:50:55Speaker 9: We'll try to get to here. Those kind of tech.
- 1:50:57Speaker 11: But to bring in the mom of a young girl
- 1:50:58Speaker 11: who was abused and then now she's running. I mean,
- 1:51:01Speaker 11: once again, Democrats are constantly doing that because I'm sure
- 1:51:04Speaker 11: you probably saw today. Oh, Chank Weiger just dancing all
- 1:51:09Speaker 11: over Lindsey Graham's, you know. his funeral plot, because claiming
- 1:51:14Speaker 11: that he was having to hire these gay.
- 1:51:16Speaker 9: Escorts and all this stuff.
- 1:51:17Speaker 11: It's like, what? So, you know, to try to just
- 1:51:20Speaker 11: say that, oh, Robert's mom, he's the only one doing
- 1:51:22Speaker 11: rough things. Yeah, but to call out Lindsey Graham... Now,
- 1:51:27Speaker 11: there are rumors about Lindsey.
- 1:51:28Speaker 9: I get it.
- 1:51:29Speaker 11: But to go for a guy who can't defend himself
- 1:51:32Speaker 11: to try to tarnish his sister's campaign, that's as bad
- 1:51:35Speaker 11: as what Ramaswamy did. I think Vivek, maybe, he may
- 1:51:39Speaker 11: have just torpedoed his career. All right, let's go get
- 1:51:41Speaker 11: one more call. Thanks for the call, Rusty. Always good
- 1:51:43Speaker 11: to hear from you. Let's go to Mark in West Houston. Mark,
- 1:51:45Speaker 11: thanks for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:51:47Speaker 47: Appreciate the call.
- 1:51:50Speaker 24: Chris, hey.
- 1:51:52Speaker 47: Rusty just called before. I wish you would ask some
- 1:51:55Speaker 47: of these Democrats, like, do they want an open border
- 1:51:59Speaker 47: or do they not want an open border? Because if
- 1:52:02Speaker 47: they want an open border, vote Democrat. Ask them, do
- 1:52:06Speaker 47: they want boys playing in girls' sports? Because that's what
- 1:52:11Speaker 47: the Democrats want. They don't have a good answer. I
- 1:52:13Speaker 47: wish you could ask them those things and just the basics.
- 1:52:16Speaker 47: Do you want higher taxes? Because that's what you're voting
- 1:52:19Speaker 47: for when you vote for the Democrats. Do you want
- 1:52:24Speaker 47: voter ID or do you not want voter ID? These
- 1:52:27Speaker 47: are the basic things. I wish you would just ask
- 1:52:29Speaker 47: them because they have no position. And just see what
- 1:52:34Speaker 47: they say. The answer is yes.
- 1:52:37Speaker 11: Mark, I don't have to ask him. The answer is yes.
- 1:52:39Speaker 11: I asked if Rusty voted for James Tallarico. They won't
- 1:52:43Speaker 11: answer the question. I just asked him, did you vote
- 1:52:44Speaker 11: for James Tallarico? Hell yeah, he voted for James Tallarico.
- 1:52:48Speaker 9: Guaranteed.
- 1:52:49Speaker 15: 100%.
- 1:52:49Speaker 11: The Democrats vote for the person with the D next
- 1:52:53Speaker 11: to their name, which leads to higher taxes. Yes, they
- 1:52:55Speaker 11: want it.
- 1:52:56Speaker 9: And open borders. Yes, they want it. They do not care.
- 1:52:59Speaker 11: They will vote that way every time.
- 1:53:02Speaker 9: Thank you for the call. Sorry, we're out of time.
- 1:53:04Speaker 11: We'll take you longer. I understand your perspective, but I've
- 1:53:07Speaker 11: talked to these callers enough times that there was a
- 1:53:10Speaker 11: reason why I jabbed at Rusty right then at the
- 1:53:12Speaker 11: very end.
- 1:53:13Speaker 9: They will support gay.
- 1:53:15Speaker 11: Trans-loving, open-border, non-binary, God-haven, six genders. They will support anything
- 1:53:23Speaker 11: as long as there's a D next to that name.
- 1:53:25Speaker 11: If they're a Democrat, that's because they hate.
- 1:53:27Speaker 9: Republicans far more than they love our country. hands down.
- 1:53:31Speaker 11: Everybody have a safe weekend.
- 1:53:33Speaker 9: We'll see you God willing on Monday.
