- 0:03Speaker 2: It's the Mark Simone Show on sevent tenor.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Well, what day is it? It's only Wednesday. All right,
- 0:14Speaker 1: here's the good news. You got only four days until

- 0:30Speaker 1: and they'll even hits seventy and winter is gone. We'll
- 0:34Speaker 1: get you that all the latest we do, the latest
- 0:36Speaker 1: details on the war, exactly where we stand. We'll get
- 0:39Speaker 1: to Texas, what happened last night, We got to Epstein
- 0:42Speaker 1: and those crazy hearings. We'll get to congestion pricing, We'll
- 0:47Speaker 1: get to We had lots to talk about today. So
- 0:49Speaker 1: let me just give you a war update. Now. You
- 0:52Speaker 1: got these crazy Democrats, Chuck Schumer and others. Schumer I
- 0:58Speaker 1: watched him yesterday. He said Donald Trump and his endless war.
- 1:03Speaker 1: It's four days yesterday, endless war. I don't think four
- 1:07Speaker 1: days is endless. But Schumer, you know, trying to. He's
- 1:11Speaker 1: an old, washed up Willie Lohman, old washed up, old
- 1:15Speaker 1: fossil old dinosaur, sad sort of a guy now in
- 1:20Speaker 1: the very end of his career, trying to look relevant.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You know, he got bigger glasses. He had these glasses.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Now he got the really big mister Magoo glasses. Maybe
- 1:27Speaker 1: that'll help. It's not helping, but every time people see him,
- 1:33Speaker 1: I think it really really helps Trump when you see
- 1:35Speaker 1: this old fossil try to attack things.
- 1:38Speaker 3: America wants this president to pay attention to the problems
- 1:44Speaker 3: at home, not the problems overseas, particularly when no one
- 1:48Speaker 3: has any idea of what the real rationale is. It
- 1:51Speaker 3: changes every hour.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Now, if Trump had launched some big thing at home,
- 1:57Speaker 1: Schumer would say, he's not paying attention to reis. It's
- 2:01Speaker 1: just a ridiculous guy.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Which one is it, Donald Trump? Regime change, nuclear weapons, missiles,
- 2:10Speaker 4: an imminent threat to the homeland, or a preemptive strike
- 2:15Speaker 4: to stop future attacks on the region.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah, the answer is yes, that's what it is. It's
- 2:20Speaker 1: all of those things. I don't think he realizes what
- 2:23Speaker 1: he's doing. He's so old. He's like an old tired fighter.
- 2:26Speaker 1: You know, Boxer keeps missing every punch misses. He just
- 2:30Speaker 1: listed like nine reasons why you want to go do this.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Let me give you the latest don Iraq, though here
- 2:34Speaker 1: this is right from the Pentagon all the latest. We
- 2:37Speaker 1: are originally talking about one week. Now they're talking about
- 2:41Speaker 1: three weeks, four weeks, maybe even five weeks. But the
- 2:43Speaker 1: reason for the extension is we're doing much better than
- 2:45Speaker 1: we hoped. We didn't think it would be this easy. Now,
- 2:48Speaker 1: remember you got the this has never happened before. You
- 2:50Speaker 1: got the two best militaries in the world, the US
- 2:54Speaker 1: and Israel, and Israel is the most highly skilled military
- 2:59Speaker 1: in you could possibly have in the Middle East. Nobody
- 3:01Speaker 1: has better intelligence, better capabilities in the Middle East war.
- 3:05Speaker 1: So the two militaries combining, working side by side, it's
- 3:08Speaker 1: an unbelievable powerful combination. So not only we've not only
- 3:13Speaker 1: taken out all their weapons capability, we're now taking out
- 3:17Speaker 1: all their manufacturing capability, so they won't be able to
- 3:19Speaker 1: bring anything back. We're taken out all the leaders We've
- 3:23Speaker 1: got all the top leadership. And now what they're going
- 3:25Speaker 1: to do is go down the tiers, each level, take
- 3:28Speaker 1: out each level of leadership all the way down. We've
- 3:32Speaker 1: taken out most of their weapons, ballistic missiles. They still
- 3:34Speaker 1: have some, but most of them have been taken out.
- 3:36Speaker 1: They still have some drones which are harder to get.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Believe it or not, they were building them at a
- 3:42Speaker 1: very very fast pace. That was the problem. They were
- 3:45Speaker 1: building ballistic missiles drones at a very fast pace. We
- 3:49Speaker 1: have now taken out the factories that build them, so
- 3:51Speaker 1: they can't keep building. We've taken away seventy five percent
- 3:55Speaker 1: of their defensive capabilities two days ago, we took out
- 3:59Speaker 1: fifty percent of the defense and oh, actually offensive capabilities.
- 4:03Speaker 1: We've taken away seventy five percent of their offensive capabilities.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Defense is gone. Seventy five percent of their offensive capabilities gone.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Now when they fire those missiles, the reason one can
- 4:14Speaker 1: get through and hit Tel Aviv is they can send
- 4:17Speaker 1: so many at the same time. Now, what they want
- 4:20Speaker 1: to do when they send a salvo of missiles, to
- 4:23Speaker 1: send fifty fifty and one salvo. It's hard for that
- 4:26Speaker 1: iron dome to stop. Fifty at once. They were down
- 4:30Speaker 1: to thirty, and even at thirty one could get through.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So thirty at once it's very hard to stop. We've
- 4:36Speaker 1: taken out so much of their offensive capability. They're now
- 4:39Speaker 1: down to only two or three. That's all they can
- 4:43Speaker 1: sent in one salvo, two or three missiles, which is
- 4:45Speaker 1: pretty harmless. The drones are being taken down, they do
- 4:49Speaker 1: a little damage. Those are a little harder to take out.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But we're getting it done. And as the Pentagon points out,
- 4:55Speaker 1: we've lost six six of our military and we owe
- 4:59Speaker 1: it to them finished the job. It was a very
- 5:02Speaker 1: very very planned attack all of this. That's why it's
- 5:05Speaker 1: gone so well. That's they knew exactly what to hit.
- 5:09Speaker 1: The Israeli Air Force just struck a top Iranian meeting.
- 5:15Speaker 1: You know, at the beginning, they took out all of
- 5:17Speaker 1: Tehran's senior clerics. They did it again yesterday, hit another
- 5:21Speaker 1: group of senior clerics. In fact, the group that was
- 5:25Speaker 1: there to select a replacement for the Aetola senior officials.
- 5:30Speaker 1: They were there to do the vote and who to
- 5:32Speaker 1: replace the Ietola. Israel hit that building and took them out.
- 5:35Speaker 1: They called it the Assembly of Experts. It's a body
- 5:38Speaker 1: of eighty eight members who got together to do this voting.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Strike took them all out and wiped out the building.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Also in Iran. You know, you forget so busy with
- 5:49Speaker 1: all these other issues and things. Schumer just rattled off,
- 5:52Speaker 1: you forget the brutal oppression of women and other minorities.
- 5:57Speaker 1: In Iran, women not allowed to do anything. You have
- 6:00Speaker 1: to keep covered up at all times. Well, women were
- 6:03Speaker 1: seen yesterday in Iran taking off their hijabs and dancing
- 6:08Speaker 1: openly in the street. They would have been killed for
- 6:10Speaker 1: that a week ago, but now they're doing it. It's
- 6:13Speaker 1: a great thing to see. The Iatola's son, the son
- 6:18Speaker 1: of the Ayatola, was selected to replace him. He's fifty six.
- 6:22Speaker 1: His name is Mujtaba ka Kama Nani. He's the son
- 6:28Speaker 1: of the Ayatola. They have selected him to be the
- 6:30Speaker 1: new leader. I would imagine his insurance company immediately cancel
- 6:35Speaker 1: his policy. How long would you give this guy to
- 6:38Speaker 1: live he's the new leader. I would say one week
- 6:43Speaker 1: tops that this guy will be alive. He's known as
- 6:45Speaker 1: being a staunch advocate of his father's lunatic, hardline stuff.
- 6:52Speaker 1: He has close ties to Iran's notoriously brutal Islamic Revolutionary Guard. Now,
- 6:59Speaker 1: the thing is he had no official role in his
- 7:01Speaker 1: father's regime, but he was still sanctioned by the US
- 7:04Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen. The appointment is actually unexpected. Again, he
- 7:08Speaker 1: had no role. It's like Michael Corleone, who was not
- 7:11Speaker 1: part of the stuff all of a sudden getting the leadership.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And in Iran, they've always looked down on family succession,
- 7:21Speaker 1: these Ayatolas. It's one thing they were against, is this
- 7:24Speaker 1: family succession, because that's what happened with the Shaw of
- 7:27Speaker 1: Iran and all that, and that was the monarchy they toppled.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Democrats are trying to attack this thing like crazy, and
- 7:33Speaker 1: they don't know what to do, so they're actually resorting
- 7:36Speaker 1: to this old thing from one hundred years ago where
- 7:39Speaker 1: they do this you never served, you never served. For instance,
- 7:43Speaker 1: that guy that writes south Park that crazy whack up
- 7:46Speaker 1: now demanding Baron Trump be drafted to war. This is
- 7:52Speaker 1: the They did this in the Gulf War. Remember, this
- 7:55Speaker 1: is like from twenty years ago. If you didn't serve,
- 7:57Speaker 1: you're not allowed to go to war. And if you
- 7:59Speaker 1: go to war, you better have your family. It's ridiculous.
- 8:02Speaker 1: First of all, we don't have a draft anymore. Second
- 8:04Speaker 1: of all, if you talk to Pentagon officials from any
- 8:07Speaker 1: of the last four administrations, they'll tell you they do
- 8:10Speaker 1: not want to draft anybody. It's not like the old days.
- 8:13Speaker 1: You know, the Vietnam you were just looking for infantry
- 8:15Speaker 1: guys to march around with rifles. Today's armed forces are
- 8:20Speaker 1: so high tech, so computerized, that draftees are useless. You
- 8:25Speaker 1: need people to go through like a year or two
- 8:27Speaker 1: of training. Drafting people doesn't work anymore. That's why they
- 8:30Speaker 1: don't do it. But you got this stuff going on.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Rachel Maddow last night going after Trump for not serving.
- 8:37Speaker 1: He didn't serve, called him a bone spurs. Remember that
- 8:39Speaker 1: was his thing about not serving, that he had bone spurs.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You know, for four years we had President Joe Biden,
- 8:46Speaker 1: who never served, who claimed he had asthma and that's
- 8:49Speaker 1: why he couldn't serve. If you read his five hundred
- 8:52Speaker 1: page biography of his whole life, there's not a word
- 8:54Speaker 1: in there about asthma. Suddenly, when it was draft time
- 8:57Speaker 1: he had asthma. Joe Biden got I think eight student
- 9:02Speaker 1: affirm it's more than Trump. But they've gone in the
- 9:06Speaker 1: attic and gotten this old old argument out of the
- 9:09Speaker 1: closet about he didn't serve. He didn't serve. Remember the
- 9:13Speaker 1: Great election of two thousand and four, it was John
- 9:15Speaker 1: Kerry against George Bush, and Carrie had been in the military.
- 9:19Speaker 1: He had been in Vietnam, so he used that as
- 9:22Speaker 1: his campaign. I served, he didn't serve. I served, But
- 9:26Speaker 1: as it got to close to the election and people
- 9:28Speaker 1: start to look at this, a wait a minute. Carrie
- 9:31Speaker 1: served twenty six years ago. Thirty years ago, he was
- 9:34Speaker 1: in the thirty years ago, he was in the army
- 9:36Speaker 1: or the navy for a couple of months, and he
- 9:39Speaker 1: commanded a boat with eight people on it. And that's
- 9:41Speaker 1: his service thirty years ago. And I looked at Bush.
- 9:45Speaker 1: The guy's been the commander in chief of the entire
- 9:47Speaker 1: US military for the last four years. I think that
- 9:49Speaker 1: counts as more service than Carrie. President Trump spoke yesterday
- 9:54Speaker 1: about the war.
- 9:56Speaker 5: They no longer have air protection, They no longer have
- 9:59Speaker 5: any detection facilities at all left, and so they're gonna
- 10:05Speaker 5: have they're going to be in for a lot of heart.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Yeah. The air force is gone, their navy is completely gone.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Most of the people we had in mind are dead.
- 10:13Speaker 5: So you know, we had some in mind from that
- 10:15Speaker 5: group that is is dead, and now we have another group.
- 10:20Speaker 5: They may be dead also based on reports.
- 10:24Speaker 1: So I guess you have a third wave coming in. Yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 1: now who's going to take over.
- 10:28Speaker 5: With Amazingly, they're hitting countries that were.
- 10:30Speaker 1: No, actually, and this was a big mistake from Iran.
- 10:34Speaker 1: From the beginning. They started attacking everybody in the Middle East,
- 10:37Speaker 1: Dubai and Saudi Arabia, these are their only possible allies,
- 10:41Speaker 1: and alien them immediately by attacking them.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Amazingly, they're hitting countries that were, you know, let's call
- 10:47Speaker 5: them neutral, right, they lived together for a long time.
- 10:51Speaker 5: They I think they were surprised. I was surprised, I think.
- 10:55Speaker 5: And now those countries are all fighting against them, and
- 10:57Speaker 5: fighting strongly against them. Yeah, we were having negotiations with
- 11:02Speaker 5: these lunatics, and it was my opinion that they were
- 11:06Speaker 5: going to attack first. They were going to attack if
- 11:08Speaker 5: we didn't do it, they were going to attack first.
- 11:11Speaker 5: I felt strongly about that.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yeah. The keyword there is lunatics. You got to remember
- 11:15Speaker 1: they were a bunch of lunatics. The Ayatola a lunatic,
- 11:18Speaker 1: his son a lunatic. All those people run things a lunatic.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Now this was pretty interesting. He asked them, well, what
- 11:24Speaker 1: if this is all over, it'll be over soon. What's
- 11:26Speaker 1: the worst possible outcome?
- 11:28Speaker 5: I guess the worst case would be we do this
- 11:30Speaker 5: and then somebody takes over. Who's as bad as the
- 11:33Speaker 5: previous person. Right, that could happen. We don't want that
- 11:37Speaker 5: to happen.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a pretty honest answer. Now you got to remember,
- 11:41Speaker 1: you know, Democrats do what they always do. If a
- 11:43Speaker 1: Republican does a bombing thing, they all start to yell
- 11:47Speaker 1: it's a violation, it's illegal. You violated this, You violated that.
- 11:50Speaker 1: You got to get the war powers that. None of
- 11:52Speaker 1: this is true legally, constitutionally, none of that's true. It's
- 11:56Speaker 1: just nonsense. You got to remember Barack Obama was twenty eleven,
- 12:01Speaker 1: did the same thing in Libya. He wanted to take
- 12:03Speaker 1: out Kadafi. Rebels were rising up. We wanted to help
- 12:06Speaker 1: the rebels. So Obama launched the same sort of attack
- 12:10Speaker 1: bombing Libya. Every Democrat immediately put out a statement, thank
- 12:15Speaker 1: God for his device decisive action. Look at how great
- 12:19Speaker 1: he is. Decisive, he's acting, Look at him protecting the free.
- 12:22Speaker 1: There's just exact opposite of today. That's one thing about
- 12:25Speaker 1: these democrats they have They have no shame. They could
- 12:28Speaker 1: tell you one thing an hour later, if Trump does it,
- 12:31Speaker 1: they'll tell you how awful it is. It's the most
- 12:33Speaker 1: disgusting thing in the world. Yeah, but you were just
- 12:34Speaker 1: for it for the last ten years. They couldn't care less.
- 12:38Speaker 1: They'll say anything everything Trump does, closing the border, deporting illegals,
- 12:44Speaker 1: getting rid of the show. This is everything the Democrats
- 12:47Speaker 1: have been promising to do for thirty years. All they
- 12:50Speaker 1: did was promise this stuff, and they're furious that somebody
- 12:53Speaker 1: actually did it now for two reasons, One because it's
- 12:56Speaker 1: Trump and they hate him. And two, if you get this,
- 13:00Speaker 1: if they don't have a campaign issue anymore. Now, Hey,
- 13:03Speaker 1: speaking of campaigns, Texas, Jasmine Crockett lost lost badly in
- 13:09Speaker 1: the runoff. There new guy, this is the new hotshot Democrat,
- 13:13Speaker 1: Tall Rico. He's only thirty six, wiped out Jasmine crocket
- 13:18Speaker 1: and a typical Democrat. You know, if you say the
- 13:20Speaker 1: election was rigged, you should immediately be arrested and go
- 13:23Speaker 1: to jail, just like Trump. Now she's saying the election
- 13:27Speaker 1: was rigged. It was rigged. However, she was crying voter suppression.
- 13:32Speaker 1: There was a court ruling about keeping the polls open
- 13:35Speaker 1: a little later voter suppression or closing the polls early
- 13:38Speaker 1: voter suppression. Although everybody's looking at the number she got
- 13:41Speaker 1: wiped out by a huge amount. There's no amount of
- 13:45Speaker 1: suppression or tamper. And there's no amount that could have
- 13:48Speaker 1: made up this gap. She was just completely wiped out.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Now the thing is tallar Rico. This is the new
- 13:55Speaker 1: hotshot Democrat. Remember this is the guy Colbert wanted to
- 13:57Speaker 1: have on and the Democrats said, you gotta have both on.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You can't have just one on. So Tall Rico one
- 14:04Speaker 1: big with Hispanics. That's a big thing because Democrats had
- 14:08Speaker 1: completely lost Hispanic voters. So in the general election, this
- 14:11Speaker 1: is encouraging Democrats because he did so well with Hispanics.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Maybe maybe he's got a shot in Texas. Anyway, we'll
- 14:19Speaker 1: get back to the war, We'll get to Epstein, We'll
- 14:22Speaker 1: get to congestion pricing. Hey, big announcement this morning. Curtis
- 14:26Speaker 1: Sliwa will become part of the Morning Show. He will
- 14:30Speaker 1: be the co host of the Morning Show starting Monday.
- 14:33Speaker 1: We waste no time Monday, It'll be Curtis Sliwa and
- 14:38Speaker 1: Larry meant You remember Curtis for many, many, many years
- 14:41Speaker 1: had the number one morning show in New York City.
- 14:45Speaker 1: He and another guy. But this time he's got a partner.
- 14:48Speaker 1: People like a lot more. It'll be Curtis and Larry
- 14:51Speaker 1: Curtis Sliwa. Larry meant he's starting Monday, six to ten am.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Curtis was on this morning. This is big.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I am coming to the oldest talk radio station continuously
- 15:03Speaker 2: running in New York City and the best talk radio station.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So it doesn't get any better than that.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Joining with you, Larry and the crew there at woor,
- 15:12Speaker 2: I come back to what people have been asking me
- 15:15Speaker 2: to do ever since I lost the election on November fourth,
- 15:18Speaker 2: A lot of people said, when are you getting back,
- 15:19Speaker 2: When are you getting back to talk radio?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Well, Monday, Monday. Right here you can hear Curtis six
- 15:25Speaker 1: to ten starting Monday. That's great news. And yeah, we're
- 15:31Speaker 1: actually the oldest talk radio station in America. Actually talk
- 15:34Speaker 1: radio started here. This is the station that invented and
- 15:38Speaker 1: originated talk radio one hundred's one hundred and three hundred
- 15:43Speaker 1: and four years ago, I think one hundred and four
- 15:46Speaker 1: years ago. One hundred and four years ago invented talk
- 15:49Speaker 1: radio here. Then in the nineteen forties, one of the
- 15:52Speaker 1: talk show it's a young guy named Barry Gray. Nobody
- 15:56Speaker 1: had ever done this for it before he put a
- 15:59Speaker 1: phone call on the area. It was very primitive back then.
- 16:02Speaker 1: You almost had to hold the phone up to the
- 16:03Speaker 1: microphone you could barely hear the caller. But he was
- 16:06Speaker 1: the first one to put a caller on the air,
- 16:09Speaker 1: and I think it was nineteen forty seven, so everything
- 16:11Speaker 1: was invented here at wor Hey, we'll take some calls
- 16:16Speaker 1: in a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 16:20Speaker 1: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:23Speaker 1: seven ten. Hey. We're having this big event March nineteenth,
- 16:27Speaker 1: great cocktail party six to eight pm with a lot

- 16:36Speaker 1: You want to meet and talk to Curtis or me
