Portland’s historic Centennial Mills warehouse, gutted by a fire this week, is now slated for demolition by August 14th after asbestos was found in the ash — and officials fear it could collapse. The blaze forced Amtrak to reroute Cascades trains between Portland and Seattle, replacing many with buses and forcing some travelers to arrange their own transport to Vancouver, WA.
