Woman Arrested for Drunk Driving After Fatal Crash | Odessa News
A 31-year-old woman, Kristen Nicole Duniven, is facing intoxication manslaughter charges after a deadly crash that killed her 32-year-old passenger, Chandler Trost. The single-vehicle rollover occurred late May 2nd near South Service Road and Cotton Flat Road, when Duniven allegedly ran a stop sign at high speed, flipped over a pond, and crashed. Both were hospitalized; Trost died on May 17th. Officers noted slurred speech and alcohol odor during hospital interviews. Toxicology confirmed her BAC at 0.143—well over the legal limit of 0.08.
