  Truth that stands tall. Have you ever been talked about,
• 0:15
  misunderstood, or accused of something that wasn't true?

  Maybe someone twisted your words, spread a rumor, or
• 0:22
  decided who you were without ever asking you?
• 0:24
  Those moments can feel incredibly unfair.
• 0:28
  Your chest tightens, your mind races, and you just want to
• 0:31
  defend yourself or disappear altogether.
• 0:34
  Words have power, and when they're used wrongly, they can
• 0:36
  wound deeply. Proverbs Chapter 11, verse 9
• 0:40
  reminds us of that reality. It says that with his mouth, the
• 0:44
  godless man would destroy his neighbor.
• 0:46
  But by knowledge, the righteous are delivered.
• 0:50
  In other words, lies and manipulation may be loud, but
• 0:53
  truth has staying power. Truth doesn't need to shout to
• 0:56
  survive. It stands firm because it's
• 0:58
  rooted in what is real. We see that kind of strength in
• 1:02
  Acts chapter 24. Paul is standing before powerful
• 1:06
  leaders, facing false accusations and twisted stories
• 1:09
  about his life and faith. People are trying to paint him
• 1:13
  as a troublemaker, someone dangerous, someone who deserves
• 1:16
  punishment. Yet Paul doesn't panic.
• 1:19
  He doesn't lash out. He doesn't water down what he
• 1:23
  believes to protect himself. In Acts chapter 24 verse 14,
• 1:28
  Paul calmly says that he worships the God of his Father's
• 1:31
  and believes everything written in the law and the prophets.
• 1:34
  He owns his faith openly. And earlier in Acts chapter 24
• 1:39
  verse 10, he clearly states that he has done no wrong.

  Paul's confidence doesn't come from having perfect
• 1:46
  circumstances. It comes from knowing the truth
• 1:49
  and standing in it. That takes courage, especially
• 1:52
  when the truth isn't popular, especially when lies seem to
• 1:56
  have momentum. Paul shows us that you don't
• 1:59
  have to match chaos with chaos. You don't have to fight every
• 2:03
  accusation with anger. When your life is anchored in
• 2:06
  God's truth, you can respond with calm confidence instead of
• 2:10
  fear. This matters for us because we
• 2:12
  live in a world full of noise. Opinions spread fast.
• 2:17
  Assumptions form quickly, and sometimes, no matter how
• 2:20
  carefully you live, someone will misunderstand you.
• 2:23
  The temptation is to either explode in defense or shrink
• 2:26
  back in silence. But God offers a better way.
• 2:30
  He invites you to stand tall in truth.
• 2:33
  Truth doesn't mean being harsh. It means being grounded.
• 2:36
  It means letting your words build instead of destroy.
• 2:40
  It means trusting that God sees the full picture, even when
• 2:43
  others don't. When you live honestly before
• 2:45
  God, you don't have to be ruled by what people say about you.

  Truth becomes your anchor. So if you're facing
• 2:52
  misunderstanding today, remember this.

  Lies may rise, but they don't last.

  Truth rooted in God always stands taller.

  Stay faithful, speak with wisdom, walk with integrity.

  God will handle what you cannot. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank you. That truth does not depend on

  popularity to stand strong. When I am misunderstood,

  misjudged, or falsely accused, help me to stay anchored in You.

  Guard my heart from fear and my mouth from harm.

  Teach me to respond with wisdom, courage, and grace.

  Let my life reflect Your truth so clearly that lies lose their

  power. I trust You to defend what I

  He ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody

  and should have some privileges and not to forbid any of his

  friends to serve him or to visit him.

  After some days Felix came with Drusilla, his wife who was a

  Jewess and sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith

  in Christ Jesus. As he reasoned about

  righteousness, self-control and the judgement to come.

  Felix was terrified and answered, Go your way for this

  time and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you.

  Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by

  Paul that he might release him. Therefore also he sent for him

  more often and talked with him. But when two years were

  fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porsche's Festus, and

  desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
