- 0:43Speaker 3: for a while. July sixteenth was what thirty three years
- 0:52Speaker 3: and most of the people listening to this show have
- 0:54Speaker 3: already died. I just want to point that out. We
- 0:58Speaker 3: have a lot of dead people. Look our demographics. There's
- 1:02Speaker 3: you know, eighteen twenty nine, eighteen eighteen years old, twenty
- 1:05Speaker 3: nine that said that happens all the time, thirty five
- 1:09Speaker 3: fifty four. Ours are thirty five till death, and we're
- 1:14Speaker 3: very very heavy on the death. So anyway, a good morning.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Let's just start Neil, good morning, Good morning, sir, and Kno.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Good morning, William. Oh yes, good morning William. Yeah.

- 2:06Speaker 3: Okay?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Okay? And cono? Your your full name is Stephen Kono.
- 2:16Speaker 2: That's it? No middle name? Oh, what's your middle name?
- 2:19Speaker 2: People are going to search it and I don't need that. No,
- 2:22Speaker 2: you can just tell us, Oh you want people to
- 2:24Speaker 2: search it? What? All right? Neil, I know it's Neil.
- 2:29Speaker 2: U is it? Uh? Use your words? Okay?
- 2:33Speaker 3: Uh, it's either Armstrong or because Neil Edwin Edwin, Yes,
- 2:40Speaker 3: Edwin after the two astronauts. That's correct.
- 2:42Speaker 5: And I'm not the only one. As a matter of fact,
- 2:44Speaker 5: there was a guy. He doesn't live in California anymore,
- 2:48Speaker 5: but there was a KFI listener who has the same name,
- 2:51Speaker 5: Neil Edwin savedra Born. I think five days apart from me,
- 2:55Speaker 5: and we still keep in touch. I was filling in
- 2:57Speaker 5: for you a million years ago at the old State
- 3:00Speaker 5: and uh he sent me a fax. That's how long
- 3:03Speaker 5: ago it was. Of his driver's license.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Oh, how cool is that?
- 3:06Speaker 5: And we we kept in touch. We were just texting
- 3:09Speaker 5: the other day. All right, he lives out of state.
- 3:11Speaker 3: All right, will middle name, full name, It's William, also William,
- 3:16Speaker 3: Edward cool Schreiber.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Okay, all right, Diane full name and Schuri and gold.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Oh and Shri, that's sweet h e r is not
- 3:27Speaker 2: your that's not your maiden name. Oh, were talking about
- 3:31Speaker 2: my my birth certificate? Yeah, what's your maiden name? Oh?
- 3:36Speaker 2: And Johansson Joe, Oh, yeah, you're so Sweetish. No, I'm
- 3:40Speaker 2: not Swedish.
- 3:41Speaker 4: I'm Danish.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Janish had what difference it makes? It makes Danish? You
- 3:45Speaker 2: all look the same to me.
- 3:46Speaker 3: You're blonde, blue eyed, and you're and you're and you're
- 3:50Speaker 3: naked in sauna is a lot.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I get that.
- 3:53Speaker 3: And I am will I am William wolf handle and
- 3:57Speaker 3: I wish I had kept Wolf like wolf Flitzer. Now
- 4:01Speaker 3: it's a really terrific name, and I wish i'd kept it. Oh,
- 4:03Speaker 3: Harry is Truman. You know what the S stands for,
- 4:05Speaker 3: by the way, And Harry as Tuman. Nothing, that's correct,
- 4:08Speaker 3: absolutely nothing. It's just an S. It's Harry S. Truman,
- 4:12Speaker 3: all right, guys. Uh, we've got medical.
- 4:15Speaker 2: News coming up.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Oh Anne and I, Oh my god, once again we
- 4:20Speaker 3: are arguing this morning. She gets so upset when I
- 4:23Speaker 3: call Amy slender right, yes you do.
- 4:27Speaker 2: We've talked about that.
- 4:29Speaker 3: It's just me saying you are. He has a little
- 4:32Speaker 3: crush on her, because every time we talked about it
- 4:35Speaker 3: is so Amy.
- 4:38Speaker 2: That's exactly.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Today.
- 4:42Speaker 2: That is. Yeah, that is why. That's how I'm saying.
- 4:49Speaker 4: The slender one.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I know, Hey, what what are you wearing? Amy? Yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 2: that's what I do. Yeah. Does he not ask her
- 4:54Speaker 2: every day what she's wearing? I do not.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I mentioned what she's wearing. I mentioned that what she's
- 4:59Speaker 3: doing Disney.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And she like sits up and pushes her boobs out
- 5:03Speaker 2: a little bit, and that's.
- 5:06Speaker 3: To see what's on her shirt. It's true, Well you
- 5:10Speaker 3: know what she does. I'll tell you what Anne does,
- 5:11Speaker 3: which is really terrific. And believe me, this is uh
- 5:15Speaker 3: suspendable statements.
- 5:18Speaker 2: She can Uh, I'm not. I can't do that. Even
- 5:22Speaker 2: I won't do that. Wow, now that we're all grossly uncovered,
- 5:26Speaker 2: it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. We won't do that.
- 5:28Speaker 3: So anyway, we were discussing, uh, the concept of slender,
- 5:33Speaker 3: and then Will came up. Will my name came up,
- 5:35Speaker 3: and yes, all right, slender, Yeah, there you go. I said,
- 5:40Speaker 3: you know when I when I am I, We're going
- 5:42Speaker 3: to get to the news in just a second. When
- 5:43Speaker 3: I had my back surgery, I was going into uh
- 5:48Speaker 3: surgery before they you know, put on the mask and
- 5:51Speaker 3: rip me up with the anesthesia. And the surgeon had mentioned, uh,
- 5:56Speaker 3: this isn't going to be hard to his team because
- 5:59Speaker 3: mister Handle is slim.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And I looked at him just four went under. Do
- 6:02Speaker 2: you know no one.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Has ever in my entire life called me slender, which
- 6:07Speaker 3: is absolutely true. It was I got an direction, uh
- 6:12Speaker 3: you know, I mean right there, he still rolled off
- 6:14Speaker 3: the table.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I still rolled off the table. That's right. Just and
- 6:17Speaker 2: in case I was about to roll there was something
- 6:19Speaker 2: to grab onto. Not much.
- 6:21Speaker 3: All right, enough of that, Enough of that, we are
- 6:25Speaker 3: completely done. Let's why don't we start with the news?
- 6:27Speaker 2: You think so? Guys? Hey, Ann, sure what are you
- 6:30Speaker 2: wearing this morning? Okay? Moving on?
- 6:38Speaker 3: By the way, if they take an am I in
- 6:39Speaker 3: trouble for doing that, of course, I am all right, guys,
- 6:42Speaker 3: let's do it. Handle on the news, Amy neil Me Amy, Amy,
- 6:50Speaker 3: how about this, Neil. Neil and I have actually shared it.
- 6:54Speaker 3: We've actually shared a bedroom together. We it. You have
- 6:59Speaker 3: seen me naked, and you're you're still in there and
- 7:03Speaker 3: you're still in therapy over that.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I know that. Here we are thirty years later. All right, guys,
- 7:07Speaker 2: lead story.
- 7:09Speaker 3: This is.
- 7:11Speaker 2: All right. I'm reaching of the missiles.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Jordan's their defenses intercepted five missiles that Iran sent its way.
- 7:21Speaker 3: And it's uh, this pause in fighting is no longer pausing.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Fighting is increasing, and we're getting so many different stories.
- 7:29Speaker 3: It's why the President's in so much trouble because of
- 7:32Speaker 3: number one priorities. And I don't know, at what point
- 7:35Speaker 3: does you know, does no one believe anything he says
- 7:39Speaker 3: when he says that he tells us, For example, the
- 7:41Speaker 3: Iranians are desperate for a deal, They're desperate to come
- 7:45Speaker 3: in to the table, and.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Iran says, what are you talking about. No, we're not,
- 7:50Speaker 2: We're not in any talks.
- 7:53Speaker 3: And so okay, anyway, so it's it's going uh, it's
- 7:59Speaker 3: going south very very quickly. So it's good. And the
- 8:03Speaker 3: President said that he's about to unleash this hugely destructive
- 8:07Speaker 3: air campaign against Iran. That was yesterday and the day
- 8:11Speaker 3: before he wasn't. Today he is or is not. Two
- 8:15Speaker 3: days ago it was say yes, thena no all in
- 8:17Speaker 3: one day Mullyan.
- 8:21Speaker 4: More cuts coming.
- 8:23Speaker 6: The Trump administration plans to end a subsidy program that
- 8:26Speaker 6: helped hold premiums for Medicare drug plans. That's according to
- 8:30Speaker 6: the Wall Street Journal. The program is expected to provide
- 8:33Speaker 6: insurers with roughly three point six billion dollars in subsidies
- 8:36Speaker 6: this year. It's to cushion Medicare Part D premium increases,
- 8:42Speaker 6: but that program will not be renewed beyond this year.
- 8:46Speaker 6: According to the report, nearly twenty five million people were
- 8:49Speaker 6: enrolled in standalone Medicare Part D prescription drug plans in
- 8:53Speaker 6: twenty twenty six.
- 8:55Speaker 3: So though that subsidy is gone or will be gone,
- 8:59Speaker 3: and you have the administration saying that we have other
- 9:04Speaker 3: measures aimed at keeping Part D costs in check. I
- 9:09Speaker 3: should like to know what those other measures are. I
- 9:12Speaker 3: don't know, and I have a Part D. You know,
- 9:17Speaker 3: I'm on Medicare when I hit sixty five. Socialized medicine.
- 9:23Speaker 3: You know, I love those people that go no socialized medicine.
- 9:26Speaker 3: But you don't touch their Medicare. Oh no, I wonder
- 9:31Speaker 3: how many people who are against National Health have Medicare
- 9:34Speaker 3: and would give it up because of the opposition to
- 9:40Speaker 3: quote socialized medicine, which I don't say socialized medicine anymore.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Now it's Medicare for all. Because you can't use the
- 9:47Speaker 3: word liberal either. You have to be a progressive. Now
- 9:50Speaker 3: you can be a conservative. Conservative still works. Liberal doesn't.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Socialized national Health doesn't, bold doesn't. We're follicular channel challenge challenge.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Liberals tend to be really big on renaming things. Yes, uh,
- 10:09Speaker 5: it's always oh the unhoused.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, a lot of thing changes to yeah, undocumented.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, they'd like to rename things. So we have
- 10:22Speaker 5: a walkout. US diplomats walked out of a United Nations
- 10:26Speaker 5: meeting after France, of all people, criticized the country's human
- 10:33Speaker 5: rights record under Donald Trump. So there was this staged walkout.
- 10:37Speaker 5: You happen on Monday. You've got UN Security Council meeting
- 10:42Speaker 5: on the Ukraine Russia war. Came days after we talked
- 10:46Speaker 5: about this Trump administration citing forced labor allegations as it
- 10:52Speaker 5: imposed sweeping tariffs on dozens of countries.
- 10:55Speaker 2: We've seen him.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Jump around to look for reasons, reasons to throw tariffs
- 11:03Speaker 5: at different countries, and France with their criticism, our diplomats
- 11:09Speaker 5: got up and walked out.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Yep, and the administration accused France of some real cheesy comments.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Oh boy, okay, yeah, moving on.
- 11:21Speaker 6: Looks like he got what he wanted. A teenage boy
- 11:25Speaker 6: sixteen years old carried out a mass shooting at his
- 11:29Speaker 6: high school in Georgia. He killed two students and two teachers.
- 11:32Speaker 6: He was sentenced yesterday to life without parole. The judge
- 11:36Speaker 6: called his actions deliberate, contemplated evil. Colt Gray pleaded guilty
- 11:42Speaker 6: at all fifty five counts against him, including murder and
- 11:44Speaker 6: aggravated assault. The judge handed down the sentence and said,
- 11:49Speaker 6: you wrote I want to make history. I want people
- 11:52Speaker 6: to remember the pain I caused, and there you succeeded.
- 11:56Speaker 4: According to the judge.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Then they were didn't The prosecution play an intercepted phone
- 12:01Speaker 3: call between him and his mother in which he said,
- 12:05Speaker 3: I want to be remembered as one of the mass murderers.
- 12:08Speaker 3: And I think is a great thing that I did.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I believe that's the story. This kid is really well,
- 12:15Speaker 3: I mean, he's going to spend the rest of his life.
- 12:16Speaker 3: So he's gone, which is a great thing to do
- 12:20Speaker 3: that works well.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Right.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Lineage we know that name as they are the.
- 12:26Speaker 5: Cold storage warehouse that we've heard so much about the fire,
- 12:30Speaker 5: the warehouse that has torn apart a section of Boyle Heights,
- 12:34Speaker 5: not only with the fire itself, but the aftermath left
- 12:37Speaker 5: behind a lot of controversy over this four hundred and
- 12:40Speaker 5: ninety one thousand square foot warehouse, and it seems that
- 12:45Speaker 5: a representative for Lineage has filed to permit with a
- 12:49Speaker 5: Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety to rebuild that
- 12:53Speaker 5: massive warehouse to its original pre fire condition, an act
- 12:57Speaker 5: that La Mayor Karen Bass has said is a slap
- 13:01Speaker 5: in the face of the families of Boile Heights.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Yeah, now, explain that to me. How that's a slap
- 13:06Speaker 3: in the face. They're just saying, we want to go
- 13:08Speaker 3: back to what we did. Does she want them not
- 13:10Speaker 3: to rebuild that? She wanted to make it a part me.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Here's the thing.
- 13:15Speaker 5: She says that they shouldn't even start thinking about the
- 13:18Speaker 5: rebuilding process while they haven't cleaned up the mess they created.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I get that, but wouldn't this expedite that?
- 13:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not much of expediting what it is, not
- 13:29Speaker 3: delaying it. For example, the same argument would be, you're
- 13:32Speaker 3: the Palisades fire right, your house has gone while they're
- 13:35Speaker 3: while they're cleaning up the debris. You're planning to rebuild, Okay,
- 13:39Speaker 3: of course you would. Why wouldn't if you plan on rebuilding,
- 13:43Speaker 3: why wouldn't you apply for a permit while debris cleaning
- 13:46Speaker 3: was going on?
- 13:46Speaker 2: She makes no sense, sir.
- 13:48Speaker 5: Super horrible what boil Heights is going through. It is,
- 13:51Speaker 5: but at the same time community, but ultimately you want
- 13:55Speaker 5: it gone and cleaned it. That's the best way to
- 13:59Speaker 5: do it right.
- 14:00Speaker 3: And they're doing that, and they're cleaning it now, and
- 14:02Speaker 3: they're not being accused of slowing it down the cleaning.
- 14:06Speaker 2: There the recon.
- 14:07Speaker 5: Rills if they're thrilled at the the way it's being done.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I haven't heard a lot of complaints that it's not
- 14:14Speaker 3: going fast enough that And the argument is that I
- 14:17Speaker 3: don't know the answer to that. Maybe it is slower
- 14:20Speaker 3: than it should be. But that's not her bitch on
- 14:22Speaker 3: this one. It's how dare you go for a permit
- 14:26Speaker 3: while the cleanup is being done.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I'll tell you when you should go for a permit.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Stop it, stop it, Okay, don't don't start telling people
- 14:35Speaker 3: when to file and when not to file. It's just
- 14:38Speaker 3: a it's a political gambit, that's all.
- 14:41Speaker 2: It is. Political statement.
- 14:43Speaker 3: People are really pet pissed off at lineage, especially in
- 14:46Speaker 3: that area, and so she's jumping on the bad wagon
- 14:49Speaker 3: to bad mouth the fact that they're going to rebuild.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Doesn't doesn't it provide jobs to people?
- 14:55Speaker 2: Oh? God forbid? And and look, it provides a place
- 14:59Speaker 2: for to a nest right.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Now, right now. Normally it doesn't.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Oh normally, Yeah, okay, thank you. Yes, that's true. That's true.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Frozen rats.
- 15:09Speaker 6: Yes, Ice is flying high. They've begun arresting foreign citizens
- 15:15Speaker 6: with expired US visas as they travel through airports, including
- 15:19Speaker 6: apparently spouses of Americans. Immigration agents and plane clothes have
- 15:24Speaker 6: been whisking away people at check in counters and arrival
- 15:27Speaker 6: gates with enforcement actions and at least fifteen airports in
- 15:31Speaker 6: recent weeks. So these arrests appear to be an expansion
- 15:36Speaker 6: of an arrangement between TSA and Immigration and Customs enforcement
- 15:41Speaker 6: to arrest people with deportation orders. So this is expanding
- 15:45Speaker 6: it now to people with expired visas.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Apparently I think this is where the administration is blowing
- 15:51Speaker 3: it because what Trump is doing is still concentrating on
- 15:55Speaker 3: illegal immigration as being more important than almost anything else the.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Electorate, and I'm very happy about it.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Pol just came out CNN saying that I think, what's
- 16:06Speaker 3: seventy percent of the American citizens think that he's spending
- 16:13Speaker 3: too much time dealing with issues that are not particularly important,
- 16:17Speaker 3: and eye buy that.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I mean, I care a.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Lot more about the cost of gasoline and the cost
- 16:22Speaker 3: of food than I do whether an ICE agent is
- 16:25Speaker 3: picking up someone at the airport and all of the
- 16:27Speaker 3: policies there.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Okay, let's do one more and then we will take
- 16:30Speaker 2: our break, all right. J Clayton.
- 16:32Speaker 5: President Donald Trump's pick to lead the US intelligence community
- 16:36Speaker 5: was confirmed fifty one to forty seven vote yesterday night.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Steps into his new job a lot of garbage being
- 16:43Speaker 5: inherited with that. He has a legal career centered on
- 16:47Speaker 5: corporate law, serving as US attorney under Trump as well.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Now he's got to focus on what Trump and his
- 16:54Speaker 5: allies made their top focus, which is the deep state target.
- 17:01Speaker 5: They're also saying that seems likely that current and formal
- 17:05Speaker 5: officials are looking at this and pointing out that Clayton
- 17:08Speaker 5: may be there to oversee its obsolescence.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I'm not sure why you'd want to get rid of
- 17:13Speaker 2: national security. Well you don't. But is it bloated? Is
- 17:16Speaker 2: it not?
- 17:16Speaker 3: I mean that's worth studying. But it's someone who is
- 17:20Speaker 3: not particularly credentialed. That's what Unfortunately, the people who are
- 17:26Speaker 3: these cabinet secretaries, these choices are not particularly particularly well
- 17:35Speaker 3: credentialed or well experienced in these fields. But better than Pulty.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Pulty was crazy. Pulty had no national security experience zero.
- 17:44Speaker 3: He was a housing executive. Oh, before we get straight
- 17:49Speaker 3: back into handling the news. The Marconi Award finalists those
- 17:55Speaker 3: that have been nominated for the twenty twenty six Marconi Awards.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Our Cony's, by the way, are the radio version of
- 18:02Speaker 3: the Oscars. And here are the nominees KFI Legendary Station
- 18:09Speaker 3: of the Year, KFI News Talk Station of the Year.

- 18:34Speaker 3: other cluster in the country.
- 18:35Speaker 2: So there we go.

- 18:40Speaker 5: the other before.

- 18:48Speaker 3: She is she is and when she was inducted in
- 18:53Speaker 3: the Radio Hall of Fame, I am seed that event cool. No,
- 18:58Speaker 3: it wasn't. It was a disaster. No one laughed at
- 19:03Speaker 3: any jokes. I had to literally start screaming at people,
- 19:07Speaker 3: what are you an oil painting to the audience. I
- 19:10Speaker 3: mean I was screaming it down. I mean nothing, You're
- 19:13Speaker 3: not nothing, I mean nada. Okay, moving on and we congratulations.
- 19:17Speaker 2: To one and all.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Now moving on with more handle on the news with
- 19:23Speaker 3: Amy neil Me.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Got a Hyundai Elantra.
- 19:28Speaker 6: Good luck to you. I'll tell you why in just
- 19:30Speaker 6: a second. State wide vehicle thefts have fallen nearly twenty
- 19:33Speaker 6: five percent. SHPIE says it's continuing its targeted enforcement and
- 19:38Speaker 6: prevention efforts. So in twenty twenty four, there were one
- 19:41Speaker 6: hundred and seventy six thousand vehicles stolen in California. That
- 19:45Speaker 6: number dropped to just over one hundred thirty three thousand
- 19:48Speaker 6: in twenty twenty five. That still translates to about one
- 19:52Speaker 6: car theft every four minutes. Of the one hundred and
- 19:55Speaker 6: thirty three thousand that were stolen, eighty four percent are
- 19:58Speaker 6: recovered and more more than half were we're recovered in
- 20:02Speaker 6: drivable condition. The most stolen car in California is the
- 20:07Speaker 6: twenty thirteen Hyundai Elantra.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Okay, all right, yesterday came over the wire that American
- 20:18Speaker 5: Airlines had this national nationwide rather ground stop and that
- 20:25Speaker 5: I was like, what the hell happened? And as I
- 20:27Speaker 5: looked more into it, it seems that they had an IT issue,
- 20:30Speaker 5: so if planes were already in the air, they were
- 20:33Speaker 5: able to land, but no flights were able to take
- 20:36Speaker 5: off until the issue was fixed. It now is fixed,
- 20:39Speaker 5: but there was some communication issues. A spokesperson said that
- 20:44Speaker 5: technology issues briefly impacting connectivity for some of their systems,
- 20:48Speaker 5: which is you'd be surprised that this doesn't happen more
- 20:53Speaker 5: when you think of all the technology that's built in well, for.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Sure, and especially since the technology is old technology, the
- 21:00Speaker 3: the well, the airlines probably have much better take all
- 21:03Speaker 3: of you. If a A doesn't when you talk about
- 21:06Speaker 3: the radar control centers that sort of thing.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Do we know how long that outage was.
- 21:12Speaker 4: It wasn't that long. It was an hour or two.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Okay, well that's still you know, having every airplane in
- 21:18Speaker 3: the country grounded that was supposed to take off.
- 21:20Speaker 2: That that'll screw things up a little bit.
- 21:25Speaker 4: I was googling that.
- 21:27Speaker 6: Oh, except you're not supposed to say google it anymore.
- 21:29Speaker 6: You're supposed to say search it up. I was searching
- 21:31Speaker 6: it up.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I know that sounds weird.
- 21:35Speaker 6: I know, a really good ride is becoming a really
- 21:41Speaker 6: big problem. So there's a new roller coaster at Universal Studios, Hollywood.
- 21:45Speaker 6: It's based on The Fast and the Furious. It's their
- 21:47Speaker 6: first high speed outdoor roller coaster. It rockets riders along
- 21:51Speaker 6: a track filled with twists and flips and inversions that
- 21:56Speaker 6: goes from the upper lot at Universal to the lower
- 21:59Speaker 6: lot and then back up again. Apparently it's a screamer
- 22:03Speaker 6: and that's got a lot of people not happy because
- 22:07Speaker 6: people into Luca Lake say when the roller coaster is running,
- 22:11Speaker 6: it is constant and it sounds like bloody murder over there,
- 22:14Speaker 6: so they can hear it all the way into the neighborhoods.
- 22:17Speaker 4: They say, it's like a.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Horror film going on, constant screaming and yelling, very intrusive.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that sucks.
- 22:24Speaker 5: I love Universal and I enjoy it. We have passes
- 22:27Speaker 5: there and it's a great place. But to Luca Lake
- 22:31Speaker 5: is like the last of those beautiful, quiet loving neighborhoods.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Really expensive old homes, huge yards. I mean, it's just
- 22:40Speaker 3: absolutely delightful.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Just what you need, a real screaming community too.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Yeah, and all you have is someone that sounds like
- 22:46Speaker 3: they've been murdered with an axe twelve hours a day.
- 22:50Speaker 3: That's special. Anthony Fauci is in front of a Senate
- 22:55Speaker 3: committee right now. It is Rand Paul's committee, and Fauci's
- 23:01Speaker 3: taking the fifth I mean across the board, which makes sense.
- 23:06Speaker 2: And I'll tell you why.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Because he is under a criminal investigation and his attorney
- 23:12Speaker 3: is telling him you say nothing because they're going to
- 23:15Speaker 3: nail you and any contradiction you make. So he is
- 23:19Speaker 3: taking the fifth and keep in eye. Everybody go, oh,
- 23:21Speaker 3: you're taking the fifth. That means you're guilty.
- 23:23Speaker 2: No, it doesn't. It means you're paying attention to what.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Your lawyer says is what it is now they could
- 23:28Speaker 3: give him, they could give him a limited immunity, but
- 23:32Speaker 3: I don't think they have, so don't be surprised. That's
- 23:36Speaker 3: all he's doing is taking the fifth every question, and
- 23:38Speaker 3: of course you know they go through every question and
- 23:41Speaker 3: he takes the fifth individually, and you know it's it's
- 23:44Speaker 3: like anything else, it's more panically.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yes, Amy, I have a question, Yes, ma'am.
- 23:48Speaker 6: If he was pardoned because President Biden preemptively pardoned him. Yes,
- 23:54Speaker 6: So was is that a blanket for anything forever? Or
- 23:58Speaker 6: was it it was while he was in well Jiden
- 24:02Speaker 6: was in office and back.
- 24:03Speaker 3: You can do both. Oh no, No, that a pardon
- 24:06Speaker 3: is a pardon. And there are two kinds of pardons.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Pardons that are retroactive in the sense that any crime
- 24:13Speaker 3: that has been committed or any crime that has been
- 24:16Speaker 3: accused of anybody's accused of, pardoned automatically and prospective anything
- 24:21Speaker 3: that might come out. For example, Hunter Biden pardoned in
- 24:26Speaker 3: the because he was being investigated.
- 24:28Speaker 2: And so if Fauci.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Was pardoned and we don't even know, it would be
- 24:34Speaker 3: a blanket pardon whatever the hell he did, then he
- 24:37Speaker 3: would have to testify because he's no longer he can't
- 24:40Speaker 3: take the fifth because they can't use your statement against
- 24:43Speaker 3: you if there if you can't be charged with a crime.
- 24:46Speaker 3: So that's why he's taking the fifth. But a pardon
- 24:49Speaker 3: is a pardon. It goes on forever, up to four
- 24:52Speaker 3: specific crimes or specific time periods.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Does that help? Yes, Okay, thank you, I made that
- 25:01Speaker 2: up all right. Moving on, So there is a couple.
- 25:07Speaker 5: They are the founders of something called e Commerce Bites Vytes,
- 25:13Speaker 5: and it's this newsletter that covers the e commerce industry,
- 25:17Speaker 5: you know, all kinds your eBay's and stuff like that. Well,
- 25:22Speaker 5: apparently they've been in this six year battle with eBay,
- 25:28Speaker 5: claiming that someone at eBay came after them and targeted
- 25:34Speaker 5: them and stocked them through mail and all kinds of escalation. Cockroaches,
- 25:40Speaker 5: spiders being delivered to their house, a funeral wreath, a
- 25:43Speaker 5: bloody pig, halloween mask, a book about surviving the death
- 25:46Speaker 5: of a spouse. So employees apparently also sent pornographic magazines
- 25:53Speaker 5: David Steiner's the husband in this in his name to
- 25:57Speaker 5: Nahmer's home. They to install GPS devices in the couple's car.
- 26:04Speaker 5: They had no idea why they were getting these things.
- 26:07Speaker 2: It was and it was and it was eBay. It
- 26:09Speaker 2: was people. It was eBay, Yes, And so uh.
- 26:14Speaker 4: Did they say why they did it?
- 26:16Speaker 2: Because yeah, because they ro ahead things they were journalists about. Yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 2: they were ripping an eBay.
- 26:22Speaker 3: It's a newsletter about eBay that were ripping into eBay.
- 26:27Speaker 3: And so uh what is there called e commerce bites?
- 26:30Speaker 3: And of course, uh, the after this lawsuit came, the
- 26:35Speaker 3: response was bite me. I had to say that only
- 26:38Speaker 3: because I can't control myself.
- 26:41Speaker 2: That really wasn't appropriate.
- 26:43Speaker 6: But moving on, Uh, FBI search in a supervisor's home.
- 26:47Speaker 6: Don't know what they're taking, but the FBI served warrants
- 26:49Speaker 6: at several locations in San Bernardino County, including County Supervisor
- 26:55Speaker 6: Kurt Hagmann's home. He's a member of the San Bernardino
- 26:57Speaker 6: County Board of Supervisors. FBI agents were seen walking out
- 27:01Speaker 6: of one of the buildings on the property and place
- 27:03Speaker 6: several boxes into one of their vehicles, but a spokesman
- 27:06Speaker 6: said they're unable to comment on what they're looking for
- 27:09Speaker 6: or what they took.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and this guy also serves as vice president of
- 27:13Speaker 3: Ontario International Airport, the authority, so he's a fairly big
- 27:19Speaker 3: han show out there. And so it makes news as
- 27:22Speaker 3: to why they search his house, and it could be
- 27:25Speaker 3: you know.
- 27:26Speaker 2: A corollary, is that the word I'm looking for?
- 27:30Speaker 3: Not he's part of the search, as something else is involved,
- 27:32Speaker 3: But we don't know.
- 27:33Speaker 2: It just looks terrible, it always does, all right.
- 27:36Speaker 5: That vandal that we saw, and we saw him he
- 27:39Speaker 5: tried to put his face under.
- 27:41Speaker 2: His T shirt but he didn't. He take it off.
- 27:44Speaker 5: Spray painting horrible things like Nazi and fascists on Tesla's
- 27:49Speaker 5: in Orange County is wanted by the Irvine police. But
- 27:52Speaker 5: for some reason, for all the people that think that
- 27:55Speaker 5: they have cameras everywhere and they know where we are
- 27:57Speaker 5: at every moment, this guy's face all over the place
- 28:00Speaker 5: and they still haven't found him. Thirteen Tesla's. He is
- 28:04Speaker 5: spray painted and vandalized and.
- 28:10Speaker 2: They don't have him. Yeah, yeah, I don't know his
- 28:12Speaker 2: political beliefs.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Are are you going after tesla owners and instead against
- 28:16Speaker 3: Tesla's against any people who buy Tesla's?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Don't know. Ooh, here's some great news.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Amy executions so nice.
- 28:26Speaker 6: They did it twice. Florida put to death two inmates.
- 28:30Speaker 6: It's the first double execution in more than sixty years.
- 28:35Speaker 6: The first guy was a sixty eight year old former
- 28:37Speaker 6: police officer convict of killing an eleven year old girl
- 28:40Speaker 6: back in nineteen eighty seven. He was executed by lethal injection.
- 28:45Speaker 6: And then about five hours later, Florida executed the guy
- 28:49Speaker 6: who was convicted of murdering his ex fiance's parents in
- 28:53Speaker 6: nineteen eighty six.
- 28:54Speaker 4: He was eighty years old.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Ooh oh, A couple of fun facts about xutions, which
- 29:00Speaker 3: I really enjoy talking about. You know, I witnessed an
- 29:03Speaker 3: execution and it was one of my better days. I
- 29:06Speaker 3: enjoyed that very very much. Here's a little factoy the
- 29:09Speaker 3: gas chamber in California, which was the way people were killed.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Did you know that the gas chambers had two chairs
- 29:16Speaker 3: in it that you could do a double execution at
- 29:20Speaker 3: the same time. Remember the old commercials doublemint Gum Oh Boy,
- 29:24Speaker 3: where you had the twins that came out of a
- 29:29Speaker 3: double execution in which they gassed two people.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Did you know that, Okay, we're done.
- 29:37Speaker 4: I don't think any of us, any of us are
- 29:39Speaker 4: buying that.
- 29:40Speaker 2: They should do them in the round. Well they did it.
- 29:43Speaker 3: What they used to do is in the octagonal octagonal,
- 29:46Speaker 3: and it's half of a It's half of an hexagon,
- 29:53Speaker 3: is what it is.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Right now. I'll tell you.
- 29:55Speaker 3: At some point we'll go through it and see what
- 29:57Speaker 3: the gas chamber, the death chamber actually looks like. I
- 30:00Speaker 3: so enjoyed that when I saw that execution it was
- 30:04Speaker 3: I would have literally walked out into the camera and
- 30:07Speaker 3: say I'm going to Disneyland. It would uh wow. Okay,
- 30:12Speaker 3: enough of that, We are done, boys and girls. Coming up,
- 30:15Speaker 3: what's happening with Iran, the United States and now Jordan,
- 30:19Speaker 3: and an update on the fiasco in the mid East.
- 30:23Speaker 3: This is KFI AM six point forty.
- 30:26Speaker 2: You've been listening to the Bill Handle Show.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Catch my show Monday through Friday six am to nine am,
