- 0:28Speaker 2: Jay and Ridge wake us Rich? What day is it today?
- 0:31Speaker 6: Well, there's a couple of big ones today. This one
- 0:33Speaker 6: I think is sort of sad. It's National Pluto Demoted Day,
- 0:38Speaker 6: the day that we made Pluto a non planet. Isn't
- 0:41Speaker 6: that sort of sad? Also sad? It's Kobe Bryant Day,
- 0:44Speaker 6: Also sad. It's National Maryland Day, where we celebrate the
- 0:48Speaker 6: state of Maryland. National Knife Day, get yourself some cutlery,
- 0:55Speaker 6: National Peach Pie Day, which I love, and my favorite.
- 0:58Speaker 6: Today is National Waffle Day, specifically marking the anniversary of
- 1:04Speaker 6: Cornelius Swartout receiving a US patent for a waffle iron
- 1:09Speaker 6: that he created on August twenty fourth, nineteen sixty nine.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Happy Waffle Day. You know what we're gonna have this morning?
- 1:16Speaker 7: Waffleta Helena, Good morning, you're on the air.
- 1:21Speaker 8: Good morning.
- 1:22Speaker 2: What's up?
- 1:24Speaker 8: Well, I recently found out that the bartender who's been
- 1:29Speaker 8: giving me free drinks for literally months is actually my cousin.
- 1:34Speaker 9: Oh oh that's nice.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Okay, how exciting. You must be part of Mexican.
- 1:38Speaker 8: Yeah, it would be exciting if I hadn't been profusely
- 1:42Speaker 8: spirting with him.
- 1:43Speaker 2: For the Oh there's that yet that part out? You
- 1:47Speaker 2: buried the lead? Oops, I know.
- 1:50Speaker 10: Sorry.
- 1:51Speaker 8: Basically, my friends and I have been going to this
- 1:53Speaker 8: bar forever. We go all the time, and this guy
- 1:57Speaker 8: never charges me, so I was obviously convinced that he
- 2:01Speaker 8: had a crush on me, like why else would anyone
- 2:03Speaker 8: do that? And last weekend I finally made my move
- 2:08Speaker 8: and she just looked horrified, and then he was like, wait,
- 2:12Speaker 8: you know we're related.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Right, I was like, oh, well, what did you say
- 2:17Speaker 2: to him? What was your hit? Because we want to
- 2:19Speaker 2: be kind of grossed out. What did you say to
- 2:21Speaker 2: him that made him go? Whoa? Hold on?
- 2:24Speaker 8: I said, what can I do to get you on
- 2:26Speaker 8: the other side of the bar.
- 2:27Speaker 9: Sometime he's like, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa probably a family,
- 2:33Speaker 9: How are you guys related.
- 2:35Speaker 8: Well, basically our grandma's our sisters apparently, so we just
- 2:38Speaker 8: have a huge family and they had a huge falling out.
- 2:40Speaker 8: But he completely remembers me from when we were kids.
- 2:44Speaker 8: Just never said anything. And I think I may have
- 2:46Speaker 8: to find.
- 2:47Speaker 1: A new bar.
- 2:47Speaker 7: So the whole time to go there, he's buying new drinks.
- 2:50Speaker 7: And you never thought it was worried to be, like,
- 2:51Speaker 7: how's your mom doing?
- 2:55Speaker 2: She's still playing John gough Terments and you're like, you
- 2:58Speaker 2: thought I play. He's so friendly.
- 3:02Speaker 6: Helena is like, they're so hot in the fact that
- 3:04Speaker 6: you look like me because we're related.
- 3:08Speaker 7: Oh my god. All right, well, so now what are
- 3:10Speaker 7: you gonna do? Just find a new bar? Are you
- 3:12Speaker 7: gonna follow up with your cousin?
- 3:13Speaker 8: Yeah, I think I'm to find a new bar. Maybe
- 3:15Speaker 8: I'll wait a couple of years and come back and
- 3:17Speaker 8: we can start a drink for our family.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I think that's.
- 3:21Speaker 7: Really relatable, Like for some like me, my mom has
- 3:25Speaker 7: so many relatives and I find out being half Mexican
- 3:28Speaker 7: growing up in Mexico, so many cousins. It's crazy, Like
- 3:31Speaker 7: I got a call for my cousin yesterday. I got
- 3:33Speaker 7: a DM from my cousin today. Like there, I bump
- 3:36Speaker 7: into them all the Time'll never forget. Being at a
- 3:37Speaker 7: bar in Scottsdale and this guy comes up to meet
- 3:39Speaker 7: the bar. His name is Juan, he said, John Jay
- 3:41Speaker 7: wan Wan. He goes He's hugging me and I'm like,
- 3:43Speaker 7: what's up. He's like, I'm your cousin.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Like what you are? Yeah? No, I've seen like three
- 3:49Speaker 2: times since then. Now you got it? Yeah, all right, Atlanta.
- 3:54Speaker 7: I have a great day you too, Hey, Shanna, good morning,
- 3:58Speaker 7: good morning morning.
- 4:01Speaker 11: Hi.
- 4:02Speaker 12: I made a song for you. So earlier, I think
- 4:04Speaker 12: this week or last week, Peyton was talking about being
- 4:07Speaker 12: in Portland and her dad is like playing this song
- 4:09Speaker 12: on her teat. So I've been playing around with this
- 4:12Speaker 12: AI app for songmaking and I made a song for
- 4:15Speaker 12: you guys.
- 4:16Speaker 9: That's exciting.
- 4:17Speaker 2: So the song is about what it's about you.
- 4:21Speaker 12: It's about all of you, Peyton, John Jay, Rich and Kyle.
- 4:25Speaker 12: It has your personalities in it. It has been on
- 4:28Speaker 12: the air giving me a concert tickets, so it is
- 4:30Speaker 12: literally your soundtracks.
- 4:32Speaker 2: And what are you calling the song?
- 4:34Speaker 12: I said, kiss me and Phoenix k I s S
- 4:37Speaker 12: is capitalized for kiss FM. It's giving like Puerto Rico.
- 4:45Speaker 2: That's not Puerto Rico. Oh really that song that went viral.
- 4:49Speaker 7: So we could put this in the system so that
- 4:51Speaker 7: we could all make tiktoks to it and make videos
- 4:53Speaker 7: to our John Jay and Rich kiss song.
- 4:55Speaker 12: Okay own the commercial right, yes.
- 4:58Speaker 7: Hopefully you can make money off it, So Shia, let's hear.

- 8:31Speaker 19: our wild birthday month. Okay, yeah, I'm like this one
- 8:35Speaker 19: definitely hits home for me. I'm like, I just saw

- 9:32Speaker 19: mutual respect.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Huh. I have no idea what that means, but it
- 9:35Speaker 2: sounds promising.
- 9:36Speaker 13: Yeah, so it'll be It'll be all good.
- 9:38Speaker 19: Just make sure that Stacy is front and center over
- 9:40Speaker 19: the next few weeks.

- 9:43Speaker 2: She would never allow it to be any other way exactly.

- 10:05Speaker 2: So you did.
- 10:06Speaker 7: The first one was Leah, because run the cusp right,
- 10:08Speaker 7: So you did, Leah. But we have not done Virgo.
- 10:11Speaker 7: From now on, it's Virgo season.
- 10:13Speaker 19: Yeah, we are in Virgo season for sure, so prepare

- 10:23Speaker 19: putting you in the driver's seat. So you need to

- 10:27Speaker 19: on and just set some standards for yourself and all
- 10:29Speaker 19: will be good.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I have all kinds of self doubt. Now that's what
- 10:32Speaker 2: happens when you have research.
- 10:34Speaker 9: Probably stop doing that yourself. You're amazing.
- 10:39Speaker 19: If you put that energy out there, it is going
- 10:42Speaker 19: to come right back to you.
- 10:43Speaker 13: And during your Virgo energy sign.

- 10:48Speaker 2: Okay, Well, thank you, payning win more for you miss
- 10:50Speaker 2: your sign.
- 10:50Speaker 7: They're all posted on our website, John Jay and Rich
- 10:52Speaker 7: dot com.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Marcus, what's up, Good morning, you're on the air.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Hey, how's it going.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, Like I had.
- 11:03Speaker 4: To call in and share something that was pretty funny.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Happened to me last weekend. So I went to a
- 11:10Speaker 4: good friend's wedding on Saturday. It was beautiful, like from
- 11:15Speaker 4: start to finish. The ceremony went really well. Uh, it
- 11:19Speaker 4: was a nice cocktail hour and uh, but when the
- 11:22Speaker 4: reception began, it was time for like the first dance,
- 11:27Speaker 4: you know, like the husband and wife and everyone was
- 11:30Speaker 4: gathered around watching and the I'm still just laughing to
- 11:36Speaker 4: myself thinking about it. Did DJ accidentally play.
- 11:39Speaker 2: The wrong song for the first dance?
- 11:42Speaker 4: For the first dance? Yeah, and uh, like it wasn't
- 11:46Speaker 4: even close. Like instead of the romantic song they picked out,
- 11:51Speaker 4: he played Pony by Genuine and.
- 11:57Speaker 2: That chang did they and she stuck grinding?
- 12:02Speaker 4: Oh it was well, okay, so it was. It was
- 12:06Speaker 4: It was so crazy in the moment because like everyone
- 12:08Speaker 4: was looking around and like starting to just plust up laughing.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Even the groom, but like the bride obviously was very perturbed.
- 12:17Speaker 4: She was completely silent and just like death staring the DJ,
- 12:22Speaker 4: so she was visibly upset.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Uh.
- 12:24Speaker 4: But of course you know they readd the first dance
- 12:27Speaker 4: a little bit later, so she was okay.
- 12:29Speaker 1: But my buddy, who was the.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Groom, was dying, like laughing so hard he had to
- 12:35Speaker 4: literally walk off the dance floor, he.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Told me later.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Apparently that was the song.
- 12:41Speaker 7: They used to hook up to.
- 12:42Speaker 2: When they were dating.
- 12:46Speaker 6: He planned that, he planned that, and she didn't take
- 12:49Speaker 6: it very well. He had to back pedal that happened
- 12:51Speaker 6: because that wouldn't be That's a pretty big coincidence. Don't
- 12:55Speaker 6: you think that as a song used to he accidentally
- 12:57Speaker 6: played it.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Yeah, hindsight, yeah, I think.
- 13:00Speaker 6: He did it to be funny and it backfired out
- 13:01Speaker 6: him at the wedding, so it's funny. He's like, you know,
- 13:04Speaker 6: just pretended it wasn't fault.
- 13:06Speaker 2: It is funny.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Luckily, like they got to redo it like for the
- 13:10Speaker 4: moment photographer.
- 13:11Speaker 18: And video and whatnot.
- 13:12Speaker 4: But I think that should definitely go into their their
- 13:15Speaker 4: outtakes behind the scene.
- 13:17Speaker 13: Oh for sure.
- 13:18Speaker 7: Yeah, thanks Marcus, thanks for sharing that story with us.
- 13:22Speaker 7: Whatever we think of wedding screw ups, I always think
- 13:24Speaker 7: of Kyle's dance. It never got filmed. Oh yeah, it
- 13:28Speaker 7: got filmed, but just waste up. Yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 9: And the reason we were so mad is because when
- 13:33Speaker 9: we had a meeting with the videographers, they were the
- 13:36Speaker 9: only ones we told about the dance. And it was
- 13:39Speaker 9: a surprise right like.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I was there. It was a great dance, It.
- 13:43Speaker 9: Was funny, and I literally told them, I was like,
- 13:45Speaker 9: just make sure you get the fancy footwork.
- 13:48Speaker 7: It was one of those one of those montages, like
- 13:51Speaker 7: five or six songs.
- 13:52Speaker 2: They had different dance moves and.
- 13:54Speaker 6: Stuff, and they did not get the fancy just like
- 13:56Speaker 6: in the Michael movie when Michael stops the director on
- 13:59Speaker 6: thriller and says, you're not getting the feet You're not
- 14:01Speaker 6: getting the fancy footwork, and bade him do it all
- 14:03Speaker 6: over again.
- 14:04Speaker 9: You're just like Michael, except we couldn't do it all
- 14:06Speaker 9: over again.
- 14:06Speaker 13: I was going to say, do you guys think that
- 14:08Speaker 13: you'd be able to do the dance now?
- 14:09Speaker 9: No way.
- 14:10Speaker 1: No.
- 14:11Speaker 9: We literally just celebrated our anniversary a couple of weeks ago,
- 14:13Speaker 9: and I was like, do you think we could like
- 14:15Speaker 9: even get any of the dance, Like we remember a
- 14:17Speaker 9: couple parts of it, but if we watched it a
- 14:20Speaker 9: few times, we would probably be able to do it.
- 14:21Speaker 2: But if you watch it, it's literally your.
- 14:23Speaker 9: Waist up, like, yeah, that's okay, just like that buddy.
- 14:28Speaker 7: So here you are fourteen years later and you're laughing
- 14:31Speaker 7: about it. So this couple is gonna laugh at pony.
- 14:34Speaker 9: Maybe maybe maybe you will.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Also, good morning, you're on the air, Thanks for holding Hey.
- 14:40Speaker 20: Good morning.
- 14:41Speaker 22: So my boyfriend I was kind of always joked about,
- 14:44Speaker 22: you know, like your celebrity crushes, and I honestly never
- 14:48Speaker 22: really cared because obviously they're celebrities, right, Like we're not
- 14:51Speaker 22: going to run into these people out at the grocery
- 14:53Speaker 22: store or whatever, like we don't.
- 14:54Speaker 10: We're not going to meet him.
- 14:56Speaker 22: But then he's a celebrity crushed and he the local
- 15:00Speaker 22: weather girl.
- 15:02Speaker 10: Uh.
- 15:03Speaker 22: And I was like, sir, she works seven miles from
- 15:06Speaker 22: our house, you know what I mean, Like that's super
- 15:07Speaker 22: close by.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And then.
- 15:11Speaker 22: Yesterday she followed him back on Instagram.
- 15:14Speaker 9: Wow, that's getting a little too close to home. If
- 15:18Speaker 9: you asked me, did you agree to, Like I guess
- 15:22Speaker 9: what was like a hall pass. Did you agree to
- 15:24Speaker 9: that before knowing what it was.
- 15:26Speaker 22: No, we never talked about it home.
- 15:28Speaker 9: Okay, well that's good.
- 15:31Speaker 22: I mean so when I saw the notification that she
- 15:33Speaker 22: had followed him back, I kind of started to make
- 15:35Speaker 22: a scene about it because that is wild to me,
- 15:38Speaker 22: Like that is so close to overstepping a line. And
- 15:42Speaker 22: now he's saying that I'm just insecure, so please help me.
- 15:46Speaker 13: No, it seems like he has the hots for the
- 15:47Speaker 13: weather lady.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Yeah, jump on that.
- 15:51Speaker 13: If that was the case.
- 15:52Speaker 9: I feel like the requirement of a celebrity crush should be,
- 15:54Speaker 9: like it's got to be like an a lister.
- 15:56Speaker 19: Has to be like almost like you know, Jacob E
- 15:58Speaker 19: Lordie Yeah, or Jade's Smith.
- 16:00Speaker 6: Yeah, come on yeah, tell him he can have his
- 16:04Speaker 6: his crush jacub a Lordie or Jaden Smith.
- 16:08Speaker 2: He said he's got a crush on the weather girl.
- 16:10Speaker 7: You know, that's a that's hot, sticky and there's one
- 16:12Speaker 7: hundred percent chance of bad decisions.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Get he's getting a little steamy out there.
- 16:22Speaker 19: No, you're absolutely valid and feeling like this is a
- 16:26Speaker 19: little bit too close to how you're not being insecure
- 16:29Speaker 19: about that.
- 16:30Speaker 22: Thank you.
- 16:31Speaker 2: You got to watch the you gotta watch the weather
- 16:33Speaker 2: now if she does.
- 16:33Speaker 7: You ever see those news anchors that they try to
- 16:35Speaker 7: incorporate song lyrics into their weather or something. If also
- 16:38Speaker 7: you see them communicating and she's like talking to.
- 16:41Speaker 9: Him right, Yeah, it's getting hot in.
- 16:43Speaker 7: Here tonight, party Claude with a strong chance of getting lucky.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Did you hear me Johnny getting lucky Johnny?
- 16:52Speaker 9: Or or maybe you're looking at this all wrong, Elsa.
- 16:55Speaker 9: Maybe you have unlocked like a new fun role play
- 16:58Speaker 9: for you and him, you know, like maybe you could
- 17:00Speaker 9: just start doing the weather and then he no longer
- 17:02Speaker 9: has the cards on the weather girl because you are
- 17:04Speaker 9: that girl.
- 17:06Speaker 22: Oh, I'll have to go find like a shoot blazer.
- 17:10Speaker 19: Halloween is right around the corner. I guarantee you there
- 17:13Speaker 19: is a weather lady outfit out there.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, she should do the weather.
- 17:17Speaker 7: She's like, you know, it is hot and sunny here,
- 17:19Speaker 7: but if it were snowing, probably be about six inches
- 17:23Speaker 7: of snow wink.
- 17:24Speaker 19: Okay, I'm like, or just go see what Karen Smith
- 17:27Speaker 19: was wearing on Mean Girls when she became the weather
- 17:29Speaker 19: Lady or.
- 17:30Speaker 2: The weather Lady from the Steven Spieler movie where she's
- 17:32Speaker 2: just to go.
- 17:35Speaker 9: What's that. I don't know what that is, but it.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Disclosure day.
- 17:39Speaker 7: It was disclosure day. The girl, the girl that's married
- 17:42Speaker 7: to what's her name? She was Mary Poppins and she's
- 17:44Speaker 7: a weather girl and she from the office. She starts
- 17:46Speaker 7: speaking like an alien. It was in although it was
- 17:48Speaker 7: all the teasers, it was all the permos all summer,
- 17:51Speaker 7: I disclosure day.
- 17:52Speaker 6: Also, there'd be no harm with somebody like zac Efron
- 17:55Speaker 6: following you back in on that. You're like, just just
- 17:57Speaker 6: get it, make him jealous.
- 18:01Speaker 7: Did you see that meme where the guy goes. My
- 18:04Speaker 7: wife said that her hall pass was like Jacob Loordi,
- 18:08Speaker 7: and she wanted to know who my hall pass was
- 18:10Speaker 7: because I said her best friend, her mom and her sister.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:15Speaker 7: Because you know what's funny about that is like these
- 18:18Speaker 7: women make their hall passes that are you know, crazy,
- 18:20Speaker 7: like Jacob Elordi or zach Efron.
- 18:22Speaker 2: But guys, yeah, I'll take their weather girl.
- 18:26Speaker 9: It's not supposed to be realistic.
- 18:28Speaker 11: Rights to be like you'll never meet that person.
- 18:32Speaker 22: There's no really chance or whatever. But it's funny you
- 18:34Speaker 22: guys keep saying Jacob Alordi because he's.
- 18:36Speaker 10: On my list.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Weather Girl's party though. All weather girls party, so oh
- 18:43Speaker 2: yeah they do.
- 18:45Speaker 9: That's not helping.
- 18:46Speaker 7: Not helping Doppler means something totally different than you think
- 18:50Speaker 7: it does. That's enough of my weather in the window.
- 18:53Speaker 7: Thanks for calling in, Elsa. Have a great days that
- 18:59Speaker 7: get up and Rich I have stacks of information, and
- 19:02Speaker 7: Rich has life hacks. Kyle's a dog owner. I'm a
- 19:05Speaker 7: dog owner. Rich is a dog owner. We also have
- 19:07Speaker 7: to love Pup Foundation. You can adopt the dog if
- 19:09Speaker 7: you're not a dog owner. Twenty three percent of dog
- 19:11Speaker 7: owners say they would try their dog's food without hesitation.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, sure.
- 19:16Speaker 9: Did I ever tell you guys about when that happened.
- 19:18Speaker 9: My stepmam was staying with us and I came home
- 19:21Speaker 9: from work one day and she goes, I just want
- 19:22Speaker 9: to tell you, I think the cookies in your pantry
- 19:25Speaker 9: are I think they've gone bad, like they're expired or something.
- 19:28Speaker 9: I was like, what cookies and she's like the cookies
- 19:31Speaker 9: and it was actually Daisies food. I was like, oh,
- 19:35Speaker 9: you just say dog food or she was like, well,
- 19:37Speaker 9: that explains why they didn't taste very good.
- 19:39Speaker 19: I feel like for the people that would eat though,
- 19:42Speaker 19: like their dog's food would be the people that do
- 19:44Speaker 19: like the fancy stuff where they get like chicken and
- 19:47Speaker 19: green bee.
- 19:47Speaker 13: Oh yeah, yeah. One of my girlfriends like makes her
- 19:50Speaker 13: dogs steak exactly. Yeah, like they get a filaming Yeah.
- 19:53Speaker 7: Most dog food like pet store dog food and cell
- 19:56Speaker 7: it has no flavor to it. It's I think it
- 19:58Speaker 7: smells so good. I love the smell of camp dog food.
- 20:01Speaker 18: I do.
- 20:02Speaker 7: A thirty year old man of Florida was arrested for
- 20:05Speaker 7: speeding at one hundred and seventeen miles per hour. He
- 20:07Speaker 7: told the police he was trying to make it to
- 20:10Speaker 7: the bathroom at BUCkies. The nearest BUCkies was sixty one
- 20:13Speaker 7: miles away.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Man, Those bathrooms are pretty nice, pretty clean in and out.
- 20:18Speaker 7: Every once in a while you hear a story like this,
- 20:19Speaker 7: but there was. A thirty eight woman in Brazil was
- 20:21Speaker 7: arrested for posing as a twelve year old child and
- 20:24Speaker 7: tricking a family into looking after her for more than
- 20:26Speaker 7: a year.
- 20:26Speaker 9: Oh my gosh.
- 20:29Speaker 7: A twenty four hour coffee shop has been opened for
- 20:32Speaker 7: one day in Beijing, China, and it already has set
- 20:35Speaker 7: a world record for the most cups of coffee served.
- 20:39Speaker 7: How how the entire staff is made up of coffee
- 20:43Speaker 7: making robots come. I'm telling you, man, They're coming everywhere, man, everywhere.
- 20:50Speaker 7: I saw a robot the other day running a sprint.
- 20:52Speaker 7: Did you see that thing running faster than the same.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Bolt and the like? The motion was very fluid.
- 20:59Speaker 7: When you think of data and you think of these
- 21:00Speaker 7: apps like Tinder, there's a this is There's only been
- 21:03Speaker 7: one Tinder match ever in the history of the country
- 21:06Speaker 7: of Antarctica. American scientist in Antarctica used tindering twenty thirteen.
- 21:12Speaker 7: He found a female scientist forty five minutes away in
- 21:14Speaker 7: a helicopter ride.
- 21:15Speaker 2: They both swipe bright. Oh my gosh. But she had
- 21:19Speaker 2: to leave the next day after they mail.
- 21:20Speaker 6: I wonder if that makes you like, like Antarctica hot,
- 21:23Speaker 6: But you wouldn't be like, let's say, if you lived
- 21:24Speaker 6: in Kansas.
- 21:25Speaker 18: No.
- 21:25Speaker 2: It was like my son Dutch was telling me.
- 21:27Speaker 7: I said, so, any girls, because he's been living doing
- 21:29Speaker 7: the Idaho thing over the summer. You know, any girls
- 21:31Speaker 7: he's been he goes. He goes in Idaho. Nine is
- 21:35Speaker 7: a u of a three.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Antarctica. Oh man, Okay.
- 21:44Speaker 7: So new data has revealed the most popular sandwiches across
- 21:47Speaker 7: the country Turkey sandwiches and grill chees sandwiches. The most
- 21:50Speaker 7: common turkey lovers though, are in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma,
- 21:56Speaker 7: and Washington. Draw me on rye was California and Nevada,
- 21:59Speaker 7: New Jersey, New York. Maloney sandwiches number one in Kentucky
- 22:02Speaker 7: and Tennessee, brisket Georgia and Texas club sandwich, Mississippi and
- 22:06Speaker 7: South Carolina, ice cream sandwich, and Delaware, Rhode Island.
- 22:09Speaker 2: What about a BLT, John.
- 22:12Speaker 7: Nope, Rich, You always throw out these things that don't
- 22:15Speaker 7: make the top twenty.
- 22:16Speaker 2: But what do you think BLT would be a favorite sandwich?
- 22:19Speaker 7: It's not nowhere in your peanut butter and jelly Michigan's down.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Thing about a jellyj Main loves lobster roles. You would
- 22:26Speaker 2: think BLT would fish way above a lobsterle.
- 22:29Speaker 19: Is a lobster roll considered a sandwich? Though that's basically
- 22:32Speaker 19: like saying a hot dog is a sandwich.
- 22:34Speaker 2: That is a debate.
- 22:35Speaker 7: According to new research, a giant crocodile the size of
- 22:37Speaker 7: a car was hunting massive prey in South America twelve
- 22:41Speaker 7: million years ago. Scientists found fossilized bite marks on the
- 22:44Speaker 7: bones of a rhino sized plant eater, and they matched
- 22:46Speaker 7: them to a crocodile that stretched twenty three feet long
- 22:48Speaker 7: and weighed four thousand pounds.
- 22:50Speaker 9: Oh my gosh.
- 22:51Speaker 2: And the reason again I.
- 22:52Speaker 7: Bring this up is because I'm so into the show
- 22:54Speaker 7: called Monsters of God God because they they're smoking crocodiles.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Is on HBO. I highly recommend you watching it. What
- 23:00Speaker 2: do you have for life?
- 23:01Speaker 6: Hacts Rich, Okay, this is a fast one, but this
- 23:03Speaker 6: is gonna save you a lot of trouble. This is
- 23:04Speaker 6: one of the things that bothers me all the time.
- 23:07Speaker 6: I never know which time to use which word affect
- 23:10Speaker 6: with an A or effect with an E. It bothers
- 23:15Speaker 6: me every single time. Or aflac you can use when
- 23:18Speaker 6: you're talking about insurance. Just skip the nonsense altogether. Instead
- 23:22Speaker 6: of effect or effect, use the word impact. It works
- 23:26Speaker 6: for both occasions, problems solved. Give it to me like,
- 23:32Speaker 6: instead of saying you know, it really affected me or
- 23:35Speaker 6: it had a strange effect on me, you just say
- 23:37Speaker 6: it really impacted me.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I really like the special impact in Star Wars. There
- 23:41Speaker 2: you go fun It works there too.
- 23:44Speaker 6: Impact words instead just substituting and you never have to
- 23:47Speaker 6: worry about that nonsense again. There we are cutting through
- 23:50Speaker 6: the crap, is what we do on life facts that
- 23:52Speaker 6: could be fun at john ja and Rich dot com.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Ashley, good morning.
- 24:02Speaker 10: Good morning, what's up? I just thought, you know, my
- 24:06Speaker 10: first house and I've been in like my DIY home
- 24:11Speaker 10: improvement era, and I have these countertops that I just
- 24:18Speaker 10: got re done, and I sound like that this tiny
- 24:21Speaker 10: stain on it. So I watched a video on how
- 24:25Speaker 10: to get the stain out, and I put some cleaning
- 24:28Speaker 10: product on it and let it set for ten minutes.
- 24:32Speaker 10: Came back, took it off and there was like a
- 24:35Speaker 10: huge dull circle where I put the cleaning product, and
- 24:41Speaker 10: I realized the video I watched was for an entirely
- 24:45Speaker 10: different kind of countertop.
- 24:47Speaker 13: Oh no, that sounds expensive.
- 24:49Speaker 9: So you made the little stain a big stain.
- 24:53Speaker 10: I mean it's a really big stain.
- 24:56Speaker 6: Is there another video telling you how to get out
- 24:58Speaker 6: the really big stain? Or are we just just screwed
- 25:00Speaker 6: the whole thing up?
- 25:02Speaker 10: Not that I can find. I've been I've just been
- 25:05Speaker 10: throwing like different products on it, like Clorox wipes, and
- 25:10Speaker 10: I put Windex on it. I think it's making it worse.
- 25:13Speaker 10: And uh, you know I just kind of panicked, and
- 25:17Speaker 10: so finally I called a professional and uh, he said,
- 25:21Speaker 10: you need to stop touching it, and uh, they're going
- 25:26Speaker 10: to come over and take a look at it. But
- 25:29Speaker 10: I don't know how much that's cost. So basically, you know,
- 25:34Speaker 10: my biggest home improvement task, I guess is leaving my house.
- 25:43Speaker 9: It's like, it's like the simple job that became not
- 25:47Speaker 9: such a simple job. Do you guys see that thing
- 25:49Speaker 9: that happened in Illinois? They were like at this high
- 25:50Speaker 9: school was doing this big jumbo tron up and the
- 25:52Speaker 9: harness actually snap, the jumbo tron came crashing down. Let
- 25:57Speaker 9: me just give you perspective here. That jumbo trons cost
- 25:59Speaker 9: any We're between thirty to one hundred thousand dollars.
- 26:03Speaker 7: So simple job.
- 26:04Speaker 9: They were just supposed to put it up. Harness dropped in,
- 26:06Speaker 9: harness broke crashed. Literally cost school one hundred thousand dollars.
- 26:11Speaker 2: It's like when rich I had to turn on that
- 26:13Speaker 2: light right there and it crashed down behind it.
- 26:15Speaker 9: You got one job.
- 26:16Speaker 2: You should turn on the light.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Wow, it's little, it's not it's not in balance. I'll
- 26:20Speaker 6: tell you that. I'd like I like to know more.
- 26:24Speaker 6: Do it yourself projects that have gone wrong totally. You're
- 26:27Speaker 6: improving it and you screwed it up.
- 26:28Speaker 2: You try to do it yourself.
- 26:31Speaker 7: The gym that I go to, the gym that I
- 26:34Speaker 7: go to, you dropped when you're done lifting weight, you dropped.
- 26:36Speaker 7: You know, you drop a weight if it's heavy, And
- 26:38Speaker 7: I guess someone had dropped the weight and it hit
- 26:39Speaker 7: the concrete, broke the concrete. So the husband of the
- 26:43Speaker 7: lady that owns the gym went in and put concrete
- 26:45Speaker 7: over it. But what happened was it healed it. It's
- 26:47Speaker 7: like a little bump. No, so they had It's been
- 26:51Speaker 7: like a year like that. So now a new a
- 26:52Speaker 7: construction crew has come in to try to fix it.
- 26:55Speaker 2: This morning.
- 26:55Speaker 7: I was there this morning and they had they put
- 26:58Speaker 7: more concrete over it. Now it's more like a speed bump.
- 27:01Speaker 7: It's like it got worse. It's a bigger buff's.
- 27:04Speaker 2: It's a bigger pump.
- 27:05Speaker 7: But it's all because someone tried the di Wyatt And
- 27:08Speaker 7: now you can't because if you're working out, if you
- 27:10Speaker 7: put a bench over it to left, the bench wobbles.
- 27:12Speaker 9: That's literally like Ashley's probably like it. Actually you're not alone.
- 27:15Speaker 7: And it's a small tym. So it's like, you can't
- 27:18Speaker 7: wherever you go. You have to wobble if you're gonna exercise, wobble. Yeah,
- 27:22Speaker 7: So thank you Ashley for bringing that up. Let's do it.
- 27:25Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Eight seven seven ninety three seven one oh four seven.
- 27:29Speaker 7: Let's hear about your DIY do it Yourself project gone wrong.
- 27:34Speaker 7: Hello Maddie, you're on the air.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Good morning, Good morning.
- 27:38Speaker 8: A couple of months ago, I had a washing machine
- 27:41Speaker 8: in my apartment that I noticed was like shaking really
- 27:44Speaker 8: badly and moving around every time I ran it. So
- 27:48Speaker 8: I decided to try and fix it myself. I was like,
- 27:51Speaker 8: this can't be too hard, And then I watched this
- 27:55Speaker 8: video on YouTube that said the problem was that the
- 27:58Speaker 8: machine probably wasn't level. So I started adjusting those little
- 28:02Speaker 8: feet underneath it myself. Yeah, and apparently, according to my phone,
- 28:06Speaker 8: I got it perfectly leveled. I was like, we're good.
- 28:09Speaker 8: Then ran it again. The whole washing machine started like
- 28:14Speaker 8: slowly walking across the laundry room, spinning faster than I've
- 28:18Speaker 8: ever seen a spin, and it ends up pulling the
- 28:21Speaker 8: drain hose out of the wall and flooding my laundry.
- 28:23Speaker 9: Oh that's bad.
- 28:26Speaker 19: Oh, my gosh, I've definitely had one of those like
- 28:28Speaker 19: washers though that will move when the closer in the story,
- 28:32Speaker 19: I can actually literally visualize that. But for it to
- 28:34Speaker 19: move so far away that it pulls out the drain.
- 28:38Speaker 8: Horrible, horrible.
- 28:40Speaker 2: All right, Maddie, thanks for calling in.
- 28:42Speaker 8: Yeah, thank you.

- 29:47Speaker 16: I was building.
- 29:48Speaker 23: I took a pop up trailer and built it turn
- 29:51Speaker 23: it into a hard sided bunk house at my cabin
- 29:53Speaker 23: up north, and I was putting in a pool handle
- 29:56Speaker 23: on the dutch door, and it was a brand new
- 29:58Speaker 23: drill bit and as I was trying to line up
- 30:00Speaker 23: the screws, I placed the drill between my knees to
- 30:03Speaker 23: hold it. I was wearing crops, and as I reached over,
- 30:07Speaker 23: the drill slipped up out from between my knees straight
- 30:10Speaker 23: to the top of my foot and made an extra
- 30:11Speaker 23: hole in my croc And uh, I wasn't. I was
- 30:14Speaker 23: okay until it started feeling super wet. So I took
- 30:17Speaker 23: my crop off and I took a step and it
- 30:19Speaker 23: squirted out like a sprinkler, and I said, oh, And
- 30:23Speaker 23: I was by myself, so I called my neighbor and
- 30:25Speaker 23: we called the paramedics and they came and just wrapped
- 30:27Speaker 23: it up. And they said, since it's the bottom of
- 30:29Speaker 23: your circutory system, there's just a lot of pressure. But
- 30:32Speaker 23: I didn't need stitches.
- 30:33Speaker 24: I just had an extra hole in my croc whoa
- 30:36Speaker 24: and your foot that was almost the toll right where
- 30:39Speaker 24: it didn't really mess up at each nerve, endings or
- 30:42Speaker 24: anything right, but it.
- 30:44Speaker 25: Was it just blood a lot.
- 30:45Speaker 23: It scared me, but you know I had Yeah, do
- 30:48Speaker 23: you see why fail?
- 30:49Speaker 7: You do a lot of that stuff you work on
- 30:52Speaker 7: you on your cabin.
- 30:53Speaker 2: You work a lot of stuff on your own.
- 30:55Speaker 23: Oh, my dad does a lot of it. And then
- 30:57Speaker 23: I was doing all the finishing stuff and.
- 31:01Speaker 25: It was an accident.
- 31:02Speaker 7: Well, it just seems like you the way you speak
- 31:05Speaker 7: and the way that you know words, drill drill bit
- 31:08Speaker 7: on us.
- 31:09Speaker 2: And the stuff that I do.
- 31:10Speaker 23: Well my dad, my dad builds houses and he kind
- 31:13Speaker 23: of taught my sister, my brother and I like, try
- 31:15Speaker 23: to figure it out on your own. Then once you
- 31:17Speaker 23: can't figure it out on your own, then you call somebody.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Okay, I think you should win our gift card.
- 31:22Speaker 9: It's pretty amazing.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Would you like to win our gift card? Kelly? Would
- 31:25Speaker 2: you use it?
- 31:26Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 31:26Speaker 23: But full yeah, full transparency. I won one last week
- 31:30Speaker 23: as a teacher.

- 34:17Speaker 7: That's where I'm getting at. Good look, I feel like
- 34:21Speaker 7: they are a real couple. And then it's funny because
- 34:23Speaker 7: then I see this thing today it says on screen
- 34:25Speaker 7: lovers who actually hated each other, And I was kind
- 34:27Speaker 7: of like, there's no way those two people in that
- 34:29Speaker 7: show hate each other.
- 34:29Speaker 2: They have to be. The way they kissed and hold

- 36:01Speaker 7: Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio and Romeo and Juliet. He
- 36:05Speaker 7: was pulling pranks. She thought he was immature. They were

- 44:51Speaker 7: hate each other. But speaking of TV shows, so I
- 44:56Speaker 7: finished Stirling Point, I started watching If you guys get
- 45:01Speaker 7: a chance, I can't remember if you talk about this
- 45:02Speaker 7: on the air and no Friday, But we have a
- 45:04Speaker 7: lot of dms on Furious on Hulu. Do you gonna
- 45:06Speaker 7: start watching that now? Okay? Get this pretty damn good.
- 45:11Speaker 7: It's like a I want to say female Dexter, but
- 45:16Speaker 7: Dexter's trying to do good. This is a female serial
- 45:19Speaker 7: killer that's killing a bunch of people and there's a
- 45:22Speaker 7: reason she's doing it, and then there's a there's an
- 45:24Speaker 7: FBI agent trying to track her down, and it's pretty okay.
- 45:26Speaker 6: Three episodes in, that seems like that's got some you know,
- 45:29Speaker 6: that's right in the pocket.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Furious is what it's called, Hulu. What are you watching, Kyle.
- 45:34Speaker 9: I'm in the middle of Sterling Point. I'm on episode eight,
- 45:36Speaker 9: so I feel like I'm like, oh it is.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Oh.
- 45:39Speaker 9: It's like I feel like I'm getting towards the end,
- 45:41Speaker 9: like feels like the stories are somewhat starting to wrap up.
- 45:45Speaker 9: I'm deep into that right now.
- 45:47Speaker 19: I finished Sterling Point, and then I started that show
- 45:49Speaker 19: on Netflix. I think it's called Blood Sacrifice.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, number two. I started watching that too.
- 45:56Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 45:56Speaker 13: It's okay. I'm not too far into it.
- 45:58Speaker 19: I'm about like half an episode in, but it's all
- 46:01Speaker 19: right from what I'm watching, I'm probably gonna go back
- 46:02Speaker 19: to it and try to see what's up with it.
- 46:04Speaker 2: But Lioness also a new episode came out yesterday. Great.
- 46:06Speaker 6: I watched that. That's good. So that's I feel like
- 46:08Speaker 6: the best for me. I feel like a lot of
- 46:10Speaker 6: shows start off strong and they kind of finished with that,
- 46:13Speaker 6: like that Lucky on Apple first episode really great, and
- 46:16Speaker 6: then it just ended with like it's it was like
- 46:18Speaker 6: sort of silly.
- 46:19Speaker 9: They put it together, and I think the ending was
- 46:21Speaker 9: a little like that wouldn't have happened.
- 46:23Speaker 6: Right, And I kind of feel the same way about
- 46:24Speaker 6: Ryde or Die. I just finished that yesterday.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Oh I like it.
- 46:28Speaker 9: I'm like excited about the next season because you know
- 46:30Speaker 9: they're doing a season.
- 46:30Speaker 6: Oh yeah, well there should be a season two, you know.
- 46:33Speaker 6: But it just didn't It just didn't quite tie it up.
- 46:36Speaker 6: Like I don't want to give anything away, but I
- 46:38Speaker 6: thought it could have been a little tougher sentimental.
- 46:40Speaker 2: By the way, we're gonna play minute to win it.
- 46:42Speaker 7: We need a contestant eight seven seven, nine three seven
- 46:45Speaker 7: one four seven, So you talk Sterling Point Lioness Furious
- 46:52Speaker 7: on Hulu, Oh, Monsters of God there's three episodes.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I started watching that last night. That's insane, right, The.
- 46:58Speaker 6: First five minutes of that what's it called Monsters? God,
- 47:02Speaker 6: the first five minutes you watch that and you're like,
- 47:04Speaker 6: these people are out of their damn minds handling these
- 47:08Speaker 6: like cobras that are like literally spitting in their face.
- 47:11Speaker 2: It is just nut house. From the beginning, you get.
- 47:14Speaker 13: The same vibe from like Chimp Crazy and Tiger King.
- 47:17Speaker 13: Watch Monsters about it and is.
- 47:18Speaker 19: It like the person that it's the person that's smuggling
- 47:22Speaker 19: what Well.
- 47:22Speaker 6: It's a bunch of people with reptiles. There's somebody looks
- 47:25Speaker 6: like a dinosaur next to him by the pool. It's
- 47:28Speaker 6: like some monitor lizards. Like he's been sleeping with me
- 47:31Speaker 6: since he's been nine months old. These pet and this
- 47:32Speaker 6: giant dinosaur looking things. They're like but their teeth are
- 47:36Speaker 6: so sharp. If they even touch you, they will cut
- 47:38Speaker 6: you in half.
- 47:38Speaker 7: It gets it gets more out. There's three episodes out.
- 47:40Speaker 7: I'm hoping it's more. There's more episodes because it's just
- 47:43Speaker 7: really fascinating how they get all these animals from all
- 47:46Speaker 7: over the world and how they's illegal.
- 47:48Speaker 6: And there's a guy with a pet anaconda. Right, that's
- 47:50Speaker 6: an anaconomy.
- 47:50Speaker 2: So it's just absolutely crazy. But what else?
- 47:55Speaker 7: As I saw that, I saw a bunch of shows,
- 47:58Speaker 7: Curious mus God's Sterling Points, Lioness. How did you get
- 48:03Speaker 7: all this TPN over the weekend? I was with you
- 48:05Speaker 7: most of the weekend. Yesterday, I just sat down and
- 48:07Speaker 7: watched TV all day. It's impressive. Hey, Blair, Okay Blair,
- 48:11Speaker 7: what happened to you this weekend? Well this is kind
- 48:13Speaker 7: of interesting.
- 48:14Speaker 4: What you Hello?
- 48:17Speaker 15: Hello again? So I had we went to Walmart over
- 48:23Speaker 15: the weekend. 're grocery shopping, and when I walked out,
- 48:26Speaker 15: I was putting up the cart and I saw on
- 48:28Speaker 15: the back of someone's car like a bumper sticker, and
- 48:33Speaker 15: it said I don't break for critters, and it just
- 48:41Speaker 15: it really rubbed me the wrong way, and I almost
- 48:45Speaker 15: felt like a betrayal to myself not to do something
- 48:49Speaker 15: about it. So my toasty self went back and wrong,
- 48:54Speaker 15: right or wrong? I don't know?
- 48:56Speaker 18: To me?
- 48:56Speaker 2: It f all right.
- 48:57Speaker 15: I just marked it out with a permanent marker.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Completely.
- 49:03Speaker 2: You just took a marker and blacked out the whole thing.
- 49:06Speaker 20: I did.
- 49:07Speaker 4: I did, I.
- 49:11Speaker 7: Know a little bit of the Hey, forget freedom of speech,
- 49:15Speaker 7: not on my watch, like.
- 49:18Speaker 15: As a as a defender, you know, of the critters
- 49:23Speaker 15: of the living kinds, you know, I know it, just
- 49:27Speaker 15: I can't do it. I saw that and it made.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Me so real toasty. So I had to go back.
- 49:31Speaker 15: And thankfully I had a ginormous permanent marker in my
- 49:34Speaker 15: car and I.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Just blocked it out.
- 49:36Speaker 15: It was like this cute little pink sticker, but it
- 49:39Speaker 15: had such a morbid message on it.
- 49:41Speaker 4: I was like, what's up?
- 49:42Speaker 7: I don't break for critters. So you're a similes person
- 49:46Speaker 7: like runs over any kind of wild animal sees that's.
- 49:49Speaker 6: Also a bizarre he'll to stand on. Don't you think
- 49:51Speaker 6: I'm a bumper sticker? Like if you're in the middle
- 49:54Speaker 6: over you.
- 49:55Speaker 19: Yeah, it's a crazy statement, which makes you think, like,
- 49:57Speaker 19: is there another meaning to that?
- 49:59Speaker 13: Are we this wrong?
- 50:00Speaker 9: Let's see, maybe they had like a weird backstory. Maybe
- 50:04Speaker 9: critters got their mom no, and now they've got something.
- 50:07Speaker 6: Maybe I like that, that's that's a that's a dark
- 50:12Speaker 6: origin story.
- 50:13Speaker 15: Yeah maybe, I mean, maybe it's something happened in a
- 50:17Speaker 15: past life or something.
- 50:18Speaker 2: But here we go.
- 50:19Speaker 15: I don't know.
- 50:20Speaker 7: I just said, Chad, T what does I don't break
- 50:22Speaker 7: for creatters mean I don't break for creators, usually means
- 50:25Speaker 7: I don't stop my car for animals.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Yeah wait, think we got that part? Yeah we did. Yeah.
- 50:33Speaker 7: Well, I mean you're not asking us if you what
- 50:35Speaker 7: you did is right or wrong. But I'm telling you
- 50:37Speaker 7: I don't think you're allowed to. I think it's wrong
- 50:39Speaker 7: to analyze somebody's car.
- 50:43Speaker 6: But having a permanent marker, having a permanent marker ready
- 50:47Speaker 6: to go for just such an occasion, you know.
- 50:49Speaker 15: I actually had I have the permanent marker for another
- 50:52Speaker 15: occasion to make posters. Well that's another story. Well we'll
- 50:57Speaker 15: get into that another time.
- 50:58Speaker 2: But yeah you can.
- 51:01Speaker 7: Why don't you just make a poster that says, hey,
- 51:03Speaker 7: you should break for critters, loser and put that put
- 51:06Speaker 7: that in the windshield.
- 51:06Speaker 2: That way, you're not destroying the guy's car or girls car.
- 51:10Speaker 15: Oh I did no destroying. I was only the tiny
- 51:14Speaker 15: little sticker that's destroying.
- 51:15Speaker 2: You know, I got to order another one bail. But
- 51:19Speaker 2: what if they made it with their cricket.
- 51:23Speaker 15: Well, I'll put one on the bag that says I
- 51:25Speaker 15: do break for critters. I could carry them around around.
- 51:29Speaker 2: More than them, so you get more exposure and maybe
- 51:30Speaker 2: they say.
- 51:31Speaker 7: Maybe what they meant was they don't break dance for critters,
- 51:33Speaker 7: all these little like a little raccoon.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Go come on, man, let me see you dude, bust
- 51:36Speaker 2: a move now. I don't break the critics. Man. No,
- 51:39Speaker 2: that's absolutely true.
- 51:41Speaker 15: All right, I went the dirty.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Dirty route. Shame on you did. Thanks for calling him?
- 51:49Speaker 2: All right? All right, Shannon, what's going on? What are
- 51:52Speaker 2: you doing? Shannon?
- 51:56Speaker 1: Hi?
- 51:57Speaker 10: Sorry, I was dropping my kIPS off.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Okay, what part of town are you in?
- 52:02Speaker 10: Phoenix?
- 52:03Speaker 2: Okay? What part of Phoenix are you in?
- 52:06Speaker 8: North Phoenix?
- 52:08Speaker 2: What part of North Phoenix are you in? It's so specific?
- 52:11Speaker 8: I'm like, are you asking what kids? What school my
- 52:13Speaker 8: kids go to?
- 52:13Speaker 9: There are your coordinates? Right now?
- 52:17Speaker 2: Is that you turning left? Right now? You're gonna play
- 52:19Speaker 2: a minute to win it for a thousand bucks? Shannon?
- 52:21Speaker 2: You ready?
- 52:23Speaker 8: I sure hope.
- 52:24Speaker 10: So I've I've gotten almost every single one like right
- 52:28Speaker 10: like as I've been listening, So I really hope I.
- 52:31Speaker 17: Don't add them in rich have one thousand dollars cash
- 52:34Speaker 17: for you from here?
- 52:35Speaker 13: Are a ford right now?
- 52:36Speaker 2: Minute to win it?
- 52:38Speaker 7: All right?
- 52:38Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 52:38Speaker 6: The last person that said what you said didn't even
- 52:40Speaker 6: get the first one right, So I'm counting on you.
- 52:43Speaker 6: Let's go, all right, sixty seconds on the clock.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 52:46Speaker 6: The patella is a medical term for what part of
- 52:49Speaker 6: the human body, your leg.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Gotta be more specific.
- 52:56Speaker 10: I think it's your shin ooh yeah, me to me,
- 53:04Speaker 10: Oh my gosh me.
- 53:07Speaker 17: Zero.
- 53:08Speaker 21: Dang it.
- 53:08Speaker 8: I did drink myself, darn it.
- 53:13Speaker 9: Such a bummer.
- 53:14Speaker 6: And I really liked you too. You're in North Phoenix
- 53:17Speaker 6: making a left Yeah.
- 53:19Speaker 8: Yeah, all the things.
- 53:20Speaker 18: You know.
- 53:22Speaker 7: You know, it's funny, Shannon, you just said all the things.
- 53:24Speaker 7: I was gonna bring that up today. I feel like
- 53:26Speaker 7: that's the new phrase. My wife says it all the time,
- 53:28Speaker 7: all the things, all the yeah, whatever you're doing. Like
- 53:31Speaker 7: if she's like, well, you know, we're doing this thing
- 53:33Speaker 7: and we went picked up so they had a whole thing.
- 53:35Speaker 7: They were just dismantling the car, all the things. Like,
- 53:38Speaker 7: that's just a phrase, all the things.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:40Speaker 8: And also love that for me.
- 53:42Speaker 6: I love that I liked both of those better than
- 53:45Speaker 6: both things can be true. That's annoying me right now,
- 53:47Speaker 6: all the things.
- 53:49Speaker 4: I feel like, I feel like both things can't be true.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Yeah, one of them could also be alive.
- 53:54Speaker 6: Why don't you say that one of these things?
- 53:59Speaker 2: She said, the last is not wrong. She wasn't wrong.
- 54:02Speaker 2: That's why I said, you need to be more specifically. Yeah,
- 54:05Speaker 2: maybe you're question to be more specific. I was in
- 54:10Speaker 2: the knee cat. Well, no, it is.
- 54:14Speaker 7: True, all right. So Rich and I we're in reading
- 54:20Speaker 7: this weekend, right, we had we had a what do
- 54:23Speaker 7: you say we had?
- 54:23Speaker 2: We had like an appearance hanging out with everybody. Yeah,
- 54:25Speaker 2: it was. It was a station promotion sold out.
- 54:28Speaker 7: The owner of the radio station picked us up. His
- 54:30Speaker 7: name is Dave Shike's great guy, and he wanted to
- 54:33Speaker 7: go to dinner. So we're like, okay. So we go
- 54:36Speaker 7: to dinner at this kind of this new Italian restaurant,
- 54:40Speaker 7: and Rich and I ordered the same thing because you know,
- 54:44Speaker 7: I'm really Italian food. I'm trying to eat healthy and
- 54:48Speaker 7: it's really hard to eat healthy Italian food, right with
- 54:50Speaker 7: all it's delicious, but but on the menu there was
- 54:53Speaker 7: a rabbi, which is a steak. Have you ever been
- 54:55Speaker 7: in this situation? I was like, I don't want to
- 54:58Speaker 7: order anything else. I won't just want eat the protein.
- 55:00Speaker 7: So I ordered the ribbi. Rich ordered the ribbi and
- 55:05Speaker 7: the boss did not, and the ribbis were one of
- 55:08Speaker 7: those the most expensive things the right Yeah, and he
- 55:13Speaker 7: just got like a cider rice and then he orders
- 55:15Speaker 7: a bottle of wine you want, you know, I was like,
- 55:17Speaker 7: I'm not drinking, and Rich was like, I have a
- 55:19Speaker 7: bottle on and then I see this today.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Here's what not to order at a dinner with your boss. Oh,
- 55:26Speaker 2: like for.
- 55:26Speaker 13: Real, that's like the number one thing, Peyton.
- 55:30Speaker 7: No joke, the number one thing on this thing of
- 55:33Speaker 7: what not to order when you go to dinner with
- 55:34Speaker 7: your boss. Steer clear of the most expensive items on
- 55:37Speaker 7: the menu, including market price specials, especially when you don't
- 55:40Speaker 7: know the cost. That's whether the ribbi was the most
- 55:43Speaker 7: expensive thing on the menu.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Ooh sorry, Dave Shakes.
- 55:46Speaker 7: The good news is I ate the rest of riches
- 55:48Speaker 7: food because you know, I usually Rich doesn't eat all
- 55:50Speaker 7: this food.
- 55:50Speaker 2: I can't eat that much.
- 55:51Speaker 7: Stake number two on this list of what not to
- 55:54Speaker 7: do when you go to dinner with your boss.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Drink alcohol and Rich had the wine.
- 56:01Speaker 19: I think that if your boss orders a model of
- 56:04Speaker 19: wine for the table, you can have a glass of wine.
- 56:06Speaker 2: According to that list, And if your.
- 56:08Speaker 13: Boss orders a cocktail, you can also get a cocktail.
- 56:10Speaker 9: I think that's like you have to take the boss's
- 56:12Speaker 9: lead on that. The boss does not order a cocktail,
- 56:14Speaker 9: you don't either.
- 56:16Speaker 7: Don't order multiple courses if your boss is only ordering one.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Follow their lead.
- 56:20Speaker 6: We got we got appetizers too, had appetisers that got
- 56:22Speaker 6: a salad. I had a pistachio nioki, which was delicious.
- 56:28Speaker 9: You guys, get this a five course meal. I'll just
- 56:30Speaker 9: get the rice.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Finally, skip foods that are messy.
- 56:33Speaker 7: You're difficult to eat the goals to enjoy the meal
- 56:35Speaker 7: while keeping the focus on the people of the table.
- 56:37Speaker 7: So I don't think we order the messy No, but
- 56:41Speaker 7: we broke all the other rules. Why couldn't we read
- 56:43Speaker 7: this before we had our di I mean I totally
- 56:45Speaker 7: would have gotten just you know, I would have the salads.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 56:47Speaker 13: That would have not changed either one of your minds.
- 56:50Speaker 7: Or stuck with the board board too. Oh my gosh,
- 56:55Speaker 7: you got a security board. They brought it and put
- 56:56Speaker 7: it right in front of me. And I ate everything
- 56:58Speaker 7: but the meat. I ate all the cheese, I ate
- 57:00Speaker 7: all the all the vegetables, all the onion on the nuts, everything,
- 57:03Speaker 7: And when I was done eating it, and there was
- 57:05Speaker 7: just a because I don't like that perscruda. I try
- 57:06Speaker 7: to stay it from Ham. I don't know that, and
- 57:08Speaker 7: I just grabbed it and I handed over to his girlfriend.
- 57:10Speaker 7: I go, hey, man, here's the.
- 57:13Speaker 6: She like to She only got a caesar salad with
- 57:15Speaker 6: no no additives, no steak, no chicken, no nothing.
- 57:18Speaker 2: She got the memo before you get yes, she had
- 57:21Speaker 2: a side of rice.
- 57:22Speaker 6: She had caesar salad and John Jay and I are like,
- 57:24Speaker 6: we'll have the ribbie please with the extra fingerling potatoes.
- 57:29Speaker 2: That was embarrassing. Hoops.
- 57:33Speaker 7: Oh hey, I have a text on the TV show
- 57:35Speaker 7: I was watching, So I told you guys, I was
- 57:36Speaker 7: watching Furious. This person says, Furious gets so much better.
- 57:40Speaker 7: I'm an episode two and I think it's fantastic.
- 57:42Speaker 9: Is the season already you're out? Or is it like
- 57:44Speaker 9: a week by week?
- 57:45Speaker 7: I think the last episode came out last night, so
- 57:48Speaker 7: I think they're all out. And it's people that you
- 57:51Speaker 7: look will look familiar to you, that are in it.
- 57:53Speaker 2: I don't know the serial killer.
- 57:55Speaker 7: I've never seen her before, but the main cop I
- 57:58Speaker 7: believe she was in Shameless and and one of the
- 58:00Speaker 7: main guys that she's killing like that she tortures him
- 58:03Speaker 7: is the guy if you he's such at a lovable character.
- 58:06Speaker 7: He's in a Deadpool Peter in Deadpool. He's Deadpool's friend.
- 58:10Speaker 7: Have you said, guy?
- 58:11Speaker 2: Cute mustache? He's in a couple other shows.
- 58:14Speaker 7: But it's really like creepy, like how she kills people,
- 58:17Speaker 7: but it also has this like not scary vibe to it,
- 58:21Speaker 7: if that makes sense, not like like Dexter. When you
- 58:24Speaker 7: watch Dexter, you feel safe as a viewer.
- 58:26Speaker 9: Yeah, you're not like freaked out like.
- 58:28Speaker 7: When you watch Monster on Netflix. Of the Ed Gaines story,
- 58:32Speaker 7: I am not safe as a viewer. I don't want
- 58:33Speaker 7: to see that. If that, If that does that make sense,
- 58:35Speaker 7: it does because that's like, that's how that's how I
- 58:37Speaker 7: felt with that show.
- 58:39Speaker 6: But it's it's Dexter somewhat, you're sort of rooting for him.
- 58:41Speaker 6: He's sort of like the anti hero.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Anyway, all right, So I was telling you about
- 58:47Speaker 2: this other show called Monsters of God. It's on HBO.
- 58:50Speaker 2: I'm sure it's a top ten show on HBO already.
- 58:52Speaker 2: I mean, I would love us to get a Boa
- 58:53Speaker 2: Constrictor in here.
- 58:54Speaker 19: Oh god, no, no, I think it'd be cool.
- 58:59Speaker 9: I do not do snakes, the more snakes for you then.
- 59:02Speaker 6: Rich, that is like, I can't believe there's a person
- 59:08Speaker 6: who owns an anaconda and you see this thing like
- 59:11Speaker 6: the heads the size of like all of our bodies
- 59:14Speaker 6: put together.
- 59:14Speaker 7: I needed snake's there's three episodes as a documentary about
- 59:19Speaker 7: the reptile smogging world and it is literally it's fascinating.
- 59:22Speaker 2: It it's the whole thing's fascinating.
- 59:25Speaker 19: John Jay.
- 59:27Speaker 6: Imagine being at work, minding your own business and coming
- 59:30Speaker 6: across all rattlesnake and getting picked twice and living to
- 59:34Speaker 6: tell the tale.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Well, it happened, and we're going to get the full
- 59:37Speaker 2: story from Beth.
- 59:39Speaker 17: Next fly from the Judgay and Rich Peoria for its studio.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Hello, good morning, John Jay and Rich can help you.
- 59:48Speaker 11: Yes, my daughter was bit by a rattlesnake in May.
- 59:51Speaker 11: I sent pictures to John Jay and Rich on Facebook
- 59:55Speaker 11: and I wanted to know. She just wanted to feel
- 59:57Speaker 11: the horrible, horrible story of it.
- 59:59Speaker 7: Yeah, you're on the air with us right now. What's
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: the horrible story? What happened? But that's so sad. She
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: first of all, is she okay?
- 1:00:06Speaker 11: Yes, yes she actually is. But it was scary she
- 1:00:10Speaker 11: almost had the amputator legs. Yeah, terrible, you're laughing.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: What let me ask you this hold on. What's your name? Okay, Beth?
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: What starts at the beginning? What was she doing? When?
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: And when the rattles like bitter? Where was she was
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: she hiking? Was she walking?
- 1:00:28Speaker 11: Where she was at work? At Tucson Cigarro National Park?
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: Cigarro National Parks? Those are a bunch of cigars? Or
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: do you mean two songs? You're okay, all right, so
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: go ahead, go ahead. She's working at the YEP.
- 1:00:48Speaker 11: She's working there with her boss and I don't know,
- 1:00:51Speaker 11: they're clearing out the invasive plants. So he's in front
- 1:00:56Speaker 11: of her, she's behind him, and she's walking.
- 1:01:00Speaker 23: Up this cliff.
- 1:01:01Speaker 11: They're very high up, and it bites her twice and
- 1:01:08Speaker 11: she falls down and starts screaming from the pain, and
- 1:01:12Speaker 11: he's an EMT, her boss, and he says, calm down.
- 1:01:16Speaker 11: So she does meditation all this you know, poofoo stuff,
- 1:01:21Speaker 11: and so she calms down. But he only had his
- 1:01:24Speaker 11: cell phone, so he called on the cell phone and said,
- 1:01:28Speaker 11: we have a bite. But then the cell phone went
- 1:01:31Speaker 11: out and they didn't have the coordinate coordination, so they
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: couldn't find them, and so I don't know what happened
- 1:01:41Speaker 11: at this point, but like two hours later, I get
- 1:01:44Speaker 11: a call saying, you got to come to the hospital.
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: She's in bits.
- 1:01:48Speaker 11: I'm like, I'm on my way. I live in Maracopa.
- 1:01:53Speaker 11: So I got on the eighth and I put my
- 1:01:55Speaker 11: flashes on, picked up my husband, and we bat out
- 1:01:58Speaker 11: of hell. Got down there and yeah, they were like,
- 1:02:03Speaker 11: she's okay, she only needs one thing of venom, and
- 1:02:07Speaker 11: then the oh, well, she needs the second one now,
- 1:02:10Speaker 11: and it kept going up her leg and it went
- 1:02:12Speaker 11: to her groin and they're like, we have to lift
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: her to Phoenix Children Hospital because they might have to
- 1:02:22Speaker 11: amputate because we can't get the swelling down once it
- 1:02:25Speaker 11: gets to a certain point. We're like, oh my god. Yeah,
- 1:02:28Speaker 11: it was just crazy. So again we just all breathe
- 1:02:32Speaker 11: and said okay, okay, and then I don't know what happened.
- 1:02:37Speaker 11: It's kind of a blur. She's an ICU and they
- 1:02:43Speaker 11: got the swelling under control. She was in for a
- 1:02:46Speaker 11: week and now she's at Yellowstone National Park. She got
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: another contract job where she's doing some fishing game stuff,
- 1:02:57Speaker 11: but it took her two months.
- 1:02:59Speaker 8: She had this therapy.
- 1:03:01Speaker 11: She was on crutches.
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: Really they that thing really messed it. Was it a
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: smaller snake or a big snake?
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Do we know?
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: No, they didn't get to see the snake, but it.
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: Was two bites.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: They're still out there. That snake's still out there. Was
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: it two snakes or was it one snake?
- 1:03:17Speaker 11: It was one snake.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: It was you know, I go hiking.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: I go hiking with a guy and he always leads,
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: and I was like, I'm really worried about rattlesnakes and
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: he goes, oh, don't worry. The rattlesnakes usually bite the
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: second person.
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: Like that's me, Like, why would I not be worried?
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: And so that's what happened, because what happens is the
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: first person walks by and alerts the snake, and then
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: the snake goes. So there was no rattle warning or
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: anything like a lot of times the snake's like, hey man,
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: let you know, I'm over.
- 1:03:41Speaker 11: Here exactly and it should have turned around and not.
- 1:03:44Speaker 11: I mean, you know, yeah, she has no idea why.
- 1:03:49Speaker 11: But she did go back to work and they call
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: her the rattlesnake Whisper because she's four more snakes when
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: she started to the invasive Oh yes, you hear the
- 1:04:02Speaker 11: rattle and she'd see it and she's scream and run.
- 1:04:05Speaker 11: But yeah, she's a yellowstone ash but she's twenty four,
- 1:04:10Speaker 11: so she's like, mom, a l stack's not going to
- 1:04:12Speaker 11: bite me again.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: You know, what are the chances?
- 1:04:15Speaker 19: I do feel like we need a little a psa
- 1:04:18Speaker 19: that like of what an actual rattle sounds like. So
- 1:04:21Speaker 19: if you are out on a hike, you know it's here, like, well, if.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: You hear a rattle, that's not good.
- 1:04:25Speaker 13: No, but I feel like different what you might expect, well,
- 1:04:30Speaker 13: doesn't sound like a baby rattle.
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: We got your pictures. Can we post your pictures on
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: our social media?
- 1:04:35Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:04:35Speaker 27: Okay, I did that.
- 1:04:36Speaker 11: Yep, I posted the picture.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: You know what's interesting you said it happened in May.
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: I thought that they weren't out in May. I thought
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: they came out like June. June.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: If you can wear sleeves like not a jacket, that's
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: rattlestick season. So if you're not if you're not cold,
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: they're not cold, all.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: Right, So that's it. So she's okay, now, that what
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: a story. Bet, Thanks for calling and sharing that with us.
- 1:04:58Speaker 11: Yeah, when I heard you guys being afraid of takes
- 1:05:01Speaker 11: and talk to a baby and said everything, I'm like,
- 1:05:03Speaker 11: I got a call. Yeah, this just happened. They've only
- 1:05:06Speaker 11: had three in that park and you know how many
- 1:05:09Speaker 11: years and they were on with poison control like all
- 1:05:14Speaker 11: the time. And so she had to go to a
- 1:05:16Speaker 11: safety thing with her job with the park services and
- 1:05:20Speaker 11: they were talking and then they started talking about rattlesnakes
- 1:05:23Speaker 11: and she's like, I was bit And the woman's given
- 1:05:25Speaker 11: the talk is like, oh, I'm some poison control I
- 1:05:28Speaker 11: know all about your story.
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: Oh wow, Well, thank you very much. Best glad she's fine.
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: You must be very proud mom.
- 1:05:36Speaker 11: I am, I am, I'm proud of her.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: It was like a few years ago they were running
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: low on anti anti venom because so many people were
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: getting bit. Isn't it like twelve grand for one shot
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: of anti venom something like that. It's really expensive.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Here you go, Peyton, here you go.
- 1:05:54Speaker 11: And we were glad we were in peas On because
- 1:05:57Speaker 11: they have the venom there. They don't have as much
- 1:05:59Speaker 11: in Sea.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Yeah you hear that. Take your kind in the trees.
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: Also again, watch the show is talking about monsters of
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: God they get into this.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: These people were smoking rattlesnakes, all kinds of stuff. Thank you,
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Beth J. J.
- 1:06:12Speaker 13: Rich Ken, Tell.
- 1:06:16Speaker 10: It's something so denzn' fun.
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: We got diamondback tickets on the line eight seven seven
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: nine four seven.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Well know about when animals attack?
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: You just talk to someone whose daughter was bitten by
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: rattlesnake twice eight seven seven ninety three seven one oh
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: four seven.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Amanda, Yeah, what beat you? Amanda?
- 1:06:44Speaker 28: I was bit by a big dog oppressa at work
- 1:06:47Speaker 28: when we were trying to lift it onto an X
- 1:06:49Speaker 28: ray table.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Oppressa. I've never heard of that.
- 1:06:53Speaker 28: Yeah, they're like really big dogs. They can get over
- 1:06:56Speaker 28: one hundred pounds. We were doing a team lift, so
- 1:06:59Speaker 28: there was three of us and we went to lift
- 1:07:01Speaker 28: her onto the X ray table and she wasn't showing
- 1:07:05Speaker 28: signs of aggression before that, but she was a little
- 1:07:08Speaker 28: in pain and really afraid, and so she turned the
- 1:07:11Speaker 28: snap at my coworker and he moved and then she
- 1:07:14Speaker 28: turned at me, but she bit my X ray badge,
- 1:07:18Speaker 28: so luckily it did like bruise pretty bad. But when
- 1:07:22Speaker 28: she bit the X ray badge, it didn't like pull
- 1:07:25Speaker 28: my skin very much, just.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: A big looking dog. Beautiful beautiful.
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: Yeah, well thank you, Amanda. Okay, so dogs off the table.
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: Now we were taught this. Hello, my bad, I hit
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: the wrong one. Good morning, Hello John jaye Rich? Is
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: something by you? Oh my god, you had to turn
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: down your radio.
- 1:07:47Speaker 18: Hello?
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Hello, Hello John Jay and Rich.
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: Hello.
- 1:07:57Speaker 21: Are you guys the diamond BA ticket?
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: Yea. It depends what you get. Would you get bit by?
- 1:08:02Speaker 25: Oh?
- 1:08:03Speaker 21: My daughter got it by a rattlesnake. Actually not me.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: I got bit by a dog in.
- 1:08:07Speaker 21: My face when I was little. I do reman pincher,
- 1:08:10Speaker 21: but it didn't really leave a bad scar. This actually
- 1:08:13Speaker 21: looks pretty decent. It's only like a dot on my forehead.
- 1:08:16Speaker 9: You got lucky, then.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: How old is your daughter when she got bit by rattlesnake?
- 1:08:20Speaker 21: My daughter was four. We went to the South Mountain. Yeah,
- 1:08:23Speaker 21: we went to South Mountain here in Phoenix, and she
- 1:08:25Speaker 21: stepped out of the car. We were all getting out
- 1:08:28Speaker 21: so we can, you know, explore, And when she stepped out,
- 1:08:31Speaker 21: there was I guess her grandfather parked right on top
- 1:08:34Speaker 21: of the rattlesnake. Yeah, he puts like, parked right there
- 1:08:41Speaker 21: where he was laying and it got her right in
- 1:08:43Speaker 21: her knee cap.
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: Hold on second, I think they're so hard to see,
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: Like on the in the Arizona dirt.
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: Dude rattles thinks, scare the hell out of me. It
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: makes me not want to go anywhere. It sip in
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: my little area. You do only go everywhere. I mean
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: even less than that. I mean, I'm just like terrified,
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: John J. Bubble is not a big bubble.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: Fight around snakes. Angie, what bit you? Angie?
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: Hi?
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Hi?
- 1:09:06Speaker 27: I did not get bit by anything. I was actually
- 1:09:08Speaker 27: attacked by a baby bear.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Well, same thing.
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: I mean, as far as getting bit or being attacked,
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: it's just.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: When animals attack. So tell us the bear story. What
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: happened there?
- 1:09:21Speaker 27: Okay, it's kind of embarrassing that I'm like, you know what, whatever,
- 1:09:23Speaker 27: I'm gonna go for it. We were at Lopez Lake
- 1:09:27Speaker 27: in California and I was dating this guy and he
- 1:09:30Speaker 27: wanted to go camping, and I'm not like an outdoorsy person,
- 1:09:33Speaker 27: and I said, sure, fine whatever it was. You know,
- 1:09:35Speaker 27: I was in college and I figured why not. So
- 1:09:38Speaker 27: we went camping to this place called Lopez Lake and
- 1:09:41Speaker 27: to have like little mountains, and he ended up inviting
- 1:09:43Speaker 27: his brother and a couple of other you know, family members,
- 1:09:47Speaker 27: and it was supposed to be like a family camping thing,
- 1:09:49Speaker 27: and we it was just very like, uh, it was fun,
- 1:09:53Speaker 27: but we it was nighttime and we wanted to you know,
- 1:09:57Speaker 27: do the thing, and so we went up to the
- 1:09:59Speaker 27: mountain and took a little hike to get away. And yeah,
- 1:10:03Speaker 27: a little baby bear comes near me and this guy
- 1:10:07Speaker 27: that I ended up marrying, by the way runs instead
- 1:10:10Speaker 27: of things still. I'm like, what the hell. You're from
- 1:10:12Speaker 27: California and I'm from Arizona. I figured you would have
- 1:10:15Speaker 27: better you know, bear, did you ever see a bear?
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Or away from the bear?
- 1:10:20Speaker 27: Ran away from the standing there like I remember my
- 1:10:29Speaker 27: brother telling me if you ever see a bear, just
- 1:10:31Speaker 27: stayed still. So, you know, I feel the clawn.
- 1:10:34Speaker 20: Of my back.
- 1:10:36Speaker 27: I'm the way I came into this world. Okay, So standing.
- 1:10:42Speaker 11: There naked, I feel claw in my back and I'm like,
- 1:10:45Speaker 11: oh my god, and.
- 1:10:45Speaker 27: This is how I die. I'm thinking in my head right,
- 1:10:48Speaker 27: but I don't. I didn't realize that he was running
- 1:10:51Speaker 27: to get like his brother who had bear sprays. It
- 1:10:55Speaker 27: was horrible.
- 1:10:56Speaker 9: It was bad.
- 1:10:56Speaker 27: I mean I survived, obviously, but it was really embarrassing,
- 1:11:00Speaker 27: like this is the first time I met his family,
- 1:11:02Speaker 27: and I'm standing their naked plot. It's like, you know,
- 1:11:07Speaker 27: and afterwards, you know, it was just bad. It was
- 1:11:09Speaker 27: I mean, it's a nice camping trip. Don't think it's
- 1:11:12Speaker 27: my brother.
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: That does not sound like a nice champ trip. That
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: sounds like a date that would not turn into another date.
- 1:11:20Speaker 27: Yeah, that's I mean, it should have been right, But
- 1:11:22Speaker 27: like he was just you know, he was a really
- 1:11:25Speaker 27: good guy ideal. I mean, I guess I just had
- 1:11:27Speaker 27: dated trash before him, so I was just.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Like, nice, Hey, was he naked when he ran a
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: good help?
- 1:11:34Speaker 7: Yes, so that'd be pretty I mean, if you're his
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: family and you see him coming in screaming and.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Make it for bear spray, what the hell doesn't get
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: rid of that? Do you ever see that show?
- 1:11:51Speaker 27: They don't talk about it, but in the back of
- 1:11:52Speaker 27: my head when I'm sitting there on Christmas, I'm just like, yeah,
- 1:11:57Speaker 27: they about it occasionally. They're like, you the naked bitch
- 1:12:01Speaker 27: that was screaming for help on the up of.
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: The hill, and you don't go away. Hold on a second, ago,
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: hold on, hold on a second, hold on.
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: Whenever I see that show alone, do you watch that show.
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: It's like Survivor, but you're by yourself. These people deal
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: with all kinds of stuff like zero degrees fires, but
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: whenever there's like a bear near the area, they put
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: their flare up and they're done.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: They're not messing with any bear.
- 1:12:19Speaker 18: Man.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it, but that's scary. Amida, what bit you?
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: What attacked you? Armita? Hello?
- 1:12:30Speaker 25: Oh hi, hey you're on can you hear me?
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:12:35Speaker 25: Okay, So my daughter got bit by a rattlesnake in
- 1:12:39Speaker 25: Mexico over by the border in No Gallas and they
- 1:12:43Speaker 25: only had one anti venom there, so my son in
- 1:12:47Speaker 25: law had to drive her to the borders and there
- 1:12:50Speaker 25: was too many cars in line, so he had to
- 1:12:52Speaker 25: literally bring her across, carrying her and hand her to
- 1:12:56Speaker 25: an agent because he couldn't cross over, and the ambulance
- 1:12:59Speaker 25: was waiting her there, and they had to fly her
- 1:13:02Speaker 25: to Tucson where they had it because there was no
- 1:13:05Speaker 25: other taste there.
- 1:13:06Speaker 27: Wow, but it was a baby rattle.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Snaky, really dangerous. Yea, Trevor, what bit you? Trevor? John Jay?
- 1:13:17Speaker 18: Sorry all right, you cut out?
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:13:19Speaker 29: Yeah, So I've been I've been stung twenty one times
- 1:13:22Speaker 29: by square pim so it's not intentional.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, a little yeah, yeah right.
- 1:13:30Speaker 29: So my parents lived in the same house in Paradise Valley.
- 1:13:32Speaker 29: Was an old nineteen fifties house, so growing up like
- 1:13:37Speaker 29: hast control wasn't the best. It was an old brick house,
- 1:13:39Speaker 29: so uh yeah. The first time I was actually sleeping
- 1:13:43Speaker 29: in my bed and when it stung me in the
- 1:13:44Speaker 29: peck and then on the bicep, just sleeping. The second time,
- 1:13:48Speaker 29: I was going to the bathroom down the hallway and
- 1:13:51Speaker 29: it was dark and I stepped on one, went to
- 1:13:53Speaker 29: go flip the light on and stepped it on it
- 1:13:55Speaker 29: again before I.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Slipped the light on.
- 1:13:57Speaker 12: Uh.
- 1:13:57Speaker 29: And then the final one, which was the worst.
- 1:13:59Speaker 18: I was stung by one.
- 1:14:00Speaker 29: I'm mom and sixteen babies.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:04Speaker 29: It was July nineteenth, of goodness, I don't know the
- 1:14:07Speaker 29: only reason I remember the date. It was my brother's
- 1:14:09Speaker 29: birthday and my dad asked me to take the trash
- 1:14:11Speaker 29: out and I put my foot into his work boot.
- 1:14:14Speaker 29: Sure enough, they were all in there waiting for me.
- 1:14:16Speaker 7: So, hey, how bad is that? What's it feel like?
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: What's it feel like to get stung by scorpion? Can
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: you compare it to something? Because I'm terrified of those things.
- 1:14:22Speaker 29: Honestly, it's just like a little bit more of a
- 1:14:24Speaker 29: beast thing. You do a little benadryll cream and you
- 1:14:26Speaker 29: take you take some benadryl, put some it. Time's really
- 1:14:28Speaker 29: not that bad. But it was the combination of all
- 1:14:31Speaker 29: of them, Uh sent me into a complete shock, My
- 1:14:34Speaker 29: body into a shock, and I had to go get
- 1:14:36Speaker 29: the rattlesnake anti venom at Scott still Shay.
- 1:14:39Speaker 18: My eyes were rolling in the back of my head.
- 1:14:43Speaker 13: Oh my god.
- 1:14:45Speaker 18: Yeah, yeah, so that was pretty wild.
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: I wonder if he has superpowers now that he's been
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: stung so many times because the babies.
- 1:14:51Speaker 29: Are you know, one who I can walk upside down
- 1:14:53Speaker 29: on the ceiling and speak right now?
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: All right, hold on it second, Trevor, hold on? Who
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: would you get it done? Max?
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: That's so great, Angie, Trevor, Angie, do you want the
- 1:15:03Speaker 7: diamonback tickets?
- 1:15:05Speaker 10: I do? If if that be, I just thought, I.
- 1:15:16Speaker 27: Who would have known that that'd be that'd be coming
- 1:15:18Speaker 27: up on the radio hole places.
- 1:15:20Speaker 7: That's such a great story. Hold on, Angel Alt and Trevor,
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: that was a great story too. It was a great story.
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: To Trevor, do we have extra diamondback. But you want
- 1:15:29Speaker 7: you want damamaickets Trevor.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: I'd love him.
- 1:15:32Speaker 29: My kids love to be back.
- 1:15:33Speaker 10: So it's the best time to go.
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: Oh yeah, okay, hold on, we give you some two
- 1:15:36Speaker 7: way to go. We got extra tickets.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:15:38Speaker 9: Yeah, they're playing for the wild card right now.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: That's exciting.
- 1:15:41Speaker 7: Can I tell you guess what I was hoping for
- 1:15:42Speaker 7: and and this person would be the winner. It's on
- 1:15:44Speaker 7: our Facebook Teresa and anyone can call her or Teresa
- 1:15:47Speaker 7: if you could listen. Teresa was bitten by get this
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: and orangutang while walking to school when I was in
- 1:15:53Speaker 7: kindergarten in Sacramento. A workman had it tied to his
- 1:15:57Speaker 7: truck bumper and I thought I'd try and feed it.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Bad idea by an orang attacks whoa, that's wild.
- 1:16:03Speaker 7: Yeah, so if anyone can get old of her, he
- 1:16:06Speaker 7: would win too.
- 1:16:08Speaker 9: Judge ends it when you supercar actually just got accepted
- 1:16:12Speaker 9: into ASU. I'll tell you who will be in town
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: for school next after no Mars fly from.
- 1:16:18Speaker 17: The Judge and Rich Peoria Fords Studio.
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: Just all right, callpeign break down everything entertainment. What do
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: you guys got what's trending?
- 1:16:27Speaker 9: Apparently Andrew Garfield has a fence to and he said, yeah,
- 1:16:31Speaker 9: of course I do, because I want to be able
- 1:16:33Speaker 9: to aimlessly scroll just like everybody else. And then he
- 1:16:37Speaker 9: did something so real, like so relatable. He was like,
- 1:16:40Speaker 9: you know, I think my screen time reports are actually horrific.
- 1:16:43Speaker 9: Like somehow he ends up spending hours and hours looking
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: at things like weird pottery and Japanese crufts people, and
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: he said, literally, after working NonStop for all of last year,
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: he says he thinks about quitting Hollywood all the time,
- 1:16:57Speaker 9: moving to the English countryside and just whittling wood and
- 1:17:00Speaker 9: watching birds what he would like to do. That's when
- 1:17:03Speaker 9: you note someone really needs a break. A lot of
- 1:17:07Speaker 9: artists out there they hate AI. A lot of musical
- 1:17:09Speaker 9: artists have said they do not like the use of
- 1:17:12Speaker 9: AI in music. They think it's invasive, they think it's
- 1:17:14Speaker 9: taking people's jobs. And doctor Dre has a completely different
- 1:17:18Speaker 9: side of the spectrum. Says, if you're scared of AI
- 1:17:21Speaker 9: coming for your job in music, maybe you need to
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: get more creative. He was like, AI is no different
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: than when drum machines and synthesizers first showed up and
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: freaked everybody out. He's already using it in the studio
- 1:17:31Speaker 9: to see what music he can create as a tool.
- 1:17:34Speaker 9: His take is it like, look, AI isn't replacing creativity.
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: It's just another thing that helps extend your creativity and
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: bring you to new levels. So if you're not on
- 1:17:42Speaker 9: the AI train, hop on or you'll be left behind.
- 1:17:46Speaker 9: Benny blonco You guys, like I says video, and I'm like,
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: what the heckza thing? He's on a pizza diet? You
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: see that one forty seven point five.
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: I just lost four point seven pounds in five days
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: eating only pizza.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Nothing matters. You can do whatever you want, failure everything.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Get my book right now.
- 1:18:08Speaker 9: So I don't really think he's actually on a pizza diet.
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: I think it was literally something he knew tabloids would
- 1:18:12Speaker 9: pick up and then he could promote his book. That's
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: called a failure. It's a memoir and it's due out
- 1:18:18Speaker 9: in September.
- 1:18:18Speaker 7: Because I think the eight pizza every day he lost
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: four pounds, it's probably much like the guy from McDonald's.
- 1:18:23Speaker 13: That guy, yeah, the super size me.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Yes, he's still.
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: Got to be under the calories, right, it's still math, right,
- 1:18:29Speaker 6: he's not overeating it.
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: But the supercized guy lost a lot of weight, not
- 1:18:31Speaker 9: just four pounds.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: Supertized guy gained a lot of weight. Well, his whole
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: thing he got, he blew, he gained.
- 1:18:37Speaker 9: A lot of Oh okay, I think I have could
- 1:18:39Speaker 9: get a different And he had all these health issues
- 1:18:42Speaker 9: and he said it was his liver.
- 1:18:43Speaker 19: But the supersize me guy was like had a crazy
- 1:18:45Speaker 19: drinking problem and they blamed it all on McDonald's.
- 1:18:47Speaker 13: It was a whole thing.
- 1:18:48Speaker 9: But I actually think, like the Benny Blanco thing was
- 1:18:50Speaker 9: literally just to promote his book.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: So you don't think he lost four pounds.
- 1:18:53Speaker 9: I think he might have lost four pounds, but I
- 1:18:55Speaker 9: don't necessarily think he's on a pizza diet right now,
- 1:18:58Speaker 9: Like maybe he just did that the last days.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: It's working.
- 1:19:02Speaker 9: What's called exactly, it's called f failure And it'll be
- 1:19:05Speaker 9: out in September. Uh, the ASU campus is going to
- 1:19:09Speaker 9: get a little extra glitz and glam. Bunny XO. She
- 1:19:13Speaker 9: was opening up about since you know her divorce from
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: jelly Roll. She said she's actually thriving. She has a
- 1:19:20Speaker 9: lot of things going on right now, a lot of
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: really exciting things. She was accepted into ASU and wants
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: to go there and she wants to study how IVF
- 1:19:28Speaker 9: affects women's hormones. Okay, I'm like that's pretty cool. So yeah,
- 1:19:33Speaker 9: keep your eyes out on campus for bunny.
- 1:19:35Speaker 13: Like could you imagine just her sitting on the back of.
- 1:19:37Speaker 9: Your class, like she just stands out Like yeah, like
- 1:19:40Speaker 9: for real, Like you won't you definitely won't miss her totally.
- 1:19:44Speaker 19: Kendall Jenner and Jacob Alordi they were holding hands in
- 1:19:47Speaker 19: London and this has completely confirmed that they are most
- 1:19:50Speaker 19: definitely dating. Kendall was there with Jacob at the premiere
- 1:19:54Speaker 19: of his new movie The Dog Stars that comes out
- 1:19:56Speaker 19: this weekend. It also stars Margot Robbie or excuse me
- 1:19:59Speaker 19: not Margot Robbie Mark Quality, So they're in that together.
- 1:20:02Speaker 19: But I love that she is there supporting her man,
- 1:20:04Speaker 19: and I love that, you know, Kylie Jenners has rubbed
- 1:20:07Speaker 19: off on her sister when it comes to dating the
- 1:20:09Speaker 19: movie stars.
- 1:20:10Speaker 7: Speaking of Margot Robbie, you know she executive produced Sterling Point.
- 1:20:13Speaker 13: No I didn't. Yeah cool.
- 1:20:17Speaker 9: I love how Kendall Jenner just keeps her relationships completely
- 1:20:20Speaker 9: on the download. It's like such a so different than
- 1:20:23Speaker 9: her sisters.
- 1:20:24Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 1:20:24Speaker 13: One hundred percent. Okay.
- 1:20:25Speaker 19: So the live action animated hybrid film Coyote Versus Acme
- 1:20:29Speaker 19: is officially releasing in theaters this Friday as well. So
- 1:20:32Speaker 19: it's stars Will Forte as a down on his luck
- 1:20:35Speaker 19: attorney who teams up with wyley E Coyote after every
- 1:20:38Speaker 19: single defective ACME product backfires in his face. So John
- 1:20:42Speaker 19: Cena is in it. I saw the trailer and it
- 1:20:44Speaker 19: looks really good. They got a ninety five percent on
- 1:20:46Speaker 19: Rotten Tomatoes.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Oh that's impressed.
- 1:20:48Speaker 19: Yeah, so people are really excited for this movie and
- 1:20:50Speaker 19: it comes out on Friday.
- 1:20:52Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm excited to see that. I feel like, John Jay,
- 1:20:55Speaker 9: you just brought up sterling point. We all really liked that.
- 1:20:56Speaker 9: We liked Margo's Got Money Problems. We liked the Madison
- 1:20:59Speaker 9: with Michelle Fifer. And there was this rumor going around
- 1:21:02Speaker 9: that she wanted to retire and she was on Jimmy Fallon.
- 1:21:04Speaker 9: Jimmy Fallon was like, so tell us about this rumor.
- 1:21:07Speaker 9: Is this true? No, I mean it's the.
- 1:21:09Speaker 13: Most ridiculous thing.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: No, you said it.
- 1:21:11Speaker 9: Where does it say I'm retiring?
- 1:21:13Speaker 21: I hit it?
- 1:21:15Speaker 20: No, all I said, I really love working with an ensemble.
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: Yeah, did you know, you're get in trouble if you
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: said that.
- 1:21:21Speaker 9: I knew the minute it came out of my mouth
- 1:21:23Speaker 9: and I said something about it.
- 1:21:24Speaker 20: I never want to star in another movie, and they
- 1:21:26Speaker 20: took that out.
- 1:21:27Speaker 9: Of course next and of course I want to star
- 1:21:30Speaker 9: in another movie. She was like, I just didn't like
- 1:21:33Speaker 9: the pressure of having to carry a movie by yourself.
- 1:21:36Speaker 9: So obviously she wants to be in another movie. But
- 1:21:39Speaker 9: she's like just being the only one, like starring Michelle Pfeiffer.
- 1:21:42Speaker 9: She's she wants like starring Michelle Peiffer and Jon Zino
- 1:21:45Speaker 9: or something.
- 1:21:46Speaker 7: You know, you know, there's very few actors now that
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: do that, right, Cruse can carry a movie?
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: Yeah, sure, yeah, for sure.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: Who else?
- 1:21:54Speaker 7: Marco Robbie maybe, I don't know if her, Ryan Gosling.
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: The last movie with Jacob A. LOORDI didn't do very well. Fantastic,
- 1:22:02Speaker 7: but that didn't do well.
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, that's what you say, Bryan Gosling, Ryan Gosling,
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: maybe hell Mary, Yeah, I mean yeah, and then you
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: got a Star Wars movie. Like, if you say Ryan Gosling,
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: you could get a movie budget of one hundred million
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: with him, and no matter what true, No, well.
- 1:22:15Speaker 7: He's in Spider Man with a bunch of he's not
- 1:22:17Speaker 7: like what other Tomahall.
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: Probably you could get a green lip movie with her
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: just as the big star.
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: Right, but her and Robert Pattinson and the drama didn't
- 1:22:24Speaker 7: do well. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. There's not there's
- 1:22:27Speaker 7: a very a Brad Pitt f one. Yeah that's true.
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: Dam was that that was a.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: Brad Payt movie. Believe me.
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: Anyway, Tam and Paula is coming to the Valley Mortgage
- 1:22:41Speaker 7: Matchup Center.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: We're gonna look at the free tickets. You gotta win
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: our new game.
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: Resale price is right eight seven seven nine three seven
- 1:22:48Speaker 7: one four seven'll do it after titter swift.
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: All right, we'renna play game. We got Tam and Paula
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: tickets first though, Lee, what's up? Good morning? How are you.
- 1:22:59Speaker 10: Hid morning?
- 1:23:00Speaker 20: I just heard I just have a quick question for
- 1:23:02Speaker 20: everybody on the panel there today. So I heard you
- 1:23:05Speaker 20: talking about Bunny XO and Asu. She's not pregnant, Like,
- 1:23:10Speaker 20: where has this been about? I thought she was pregnant
- 1:23:11Speaker 20: with what's his face's baby after their divorce announcement.
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: Well that's a good point, couse they had done some
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: sort of or did they have a surrogate?
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: I don't know, aurrogate. And then the ASU thing is
- 1:23:25Speaker 9: about her studying like ivyes, and like the because.
- 1:23:30Speaker 20: They made it seem because they made it seem like
- 1:23:33Speaker 20: she was pregnant with his baby, Like as far as
- 1:23:35Speaker 20: I knew, they've never said like a surrogate per se
- 1:23:38Speaker 20: because they were trying so hard before they announced their divorce.
- 1:23:41Speaker 20: And I'm like, okay, where's all this? So yeah, so
- 1:23:44Speaker 20: that's my whole thing, is like, well, why aren't they
- 1:23:45Speaker 20: just like, where's her pregnancy with all this? I don't know,
- 1:23:50Speaker 20: maybe I okay, I guess I was so confused on
- 1:23:52Speaker 20: my I thought she was pregnant, So I guess I
- 1:23:55Speaker 20: had no idea. So okay, well, good to clarify because
- 1:23:58Speaker 20: I was completely confused on that.
- 1:24:01Speaker 9: Yeah, and they've still talked about, like, you know, raising
- 1:24:03Speaker 9: the baby together and whatnot, so that should be an
- 1:24:05Speaker 9: interesting journey for them.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Hey, Lee, do you want to play prices? Want to
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: play prices right with us?
- 1:24:11Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:24:11Speaker 20: My god?
- 1:24:12Speaker 10: I love the price is right?
- 1:24:13Speaker 7: Okay, hold on, hold on, okay, hold on, hold on,
- 1:24:15Speaker 7: hold on, Josh, what's up here on their.
- 1:24:18Speaker 18: Yeah?
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: I have a life hack for you guys. Okay, what
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: is it?
- 1:24:22Speaker 18: So when you flip the coin, it's fifty one to
- 1:24:25Speaker 18: forty nine ratio.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: Do you know why? No? Is it because one side's heavier?
- 1:24:30Speaker 18: No, it's because whatever side you start with is the
- 1:24:33Speaker 18: side that you're going to try to end up on.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: Oh life, that's the life hack. Yeah.
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: So whatever side you see the coin on, call back
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: because it you have a higher percentage of that.
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:46Speaker 18: Yeah, it's a two percent percentage forty I mean fifty
- 1:24:51Speaker 18: to forty nine ratio.
- 1:24:54Speaker 9: Do you always here flip the coin fifty to fifty
- 1:24:57Speaker 9: We've been like also.
- 1:24:59Speaker 18: Or two hundred ninety three ways to make change for
- 1:25:01Speaker 18: a dollar?
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: All right, thank you, Josh, Josh? Do you want to
- 1:25:04Speaker 7: play prices?
- 1:25:04Speaker 18: Right?
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: So we've got to have him? Yes, all right, hold
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: love of the game, jos well, and we only do
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: want to do one of the What are we doing? Okay?
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: This is called the resale price, is right? I have
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: looked for things for shopping basically for Kyle Peyton and
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: John Jay. I will pitch them the product where I
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: found it, and they will try to guess what it costs.
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: You will see if they are too high, are too low. Now,
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: if you win, you go to the showcase showdown. But
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: we're to start with you, Lee, John Jay from Craigslist.

- 1:26:10Speaker 6: which is comforting because a U spinal brace feels like
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: we're getting a little too personal, not approved by campers,
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: chiropractors or people who know what a backpack is supposed.
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: To look like.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: John Jay, what is the asking price on Craigslist?
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: I would buy this if this is real, so send me.

- 1:26:44Speaker 13: Mmmm?
- 1:26:45Speaker 10: I'm gonna go higher.
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: Ooh, I'm sorry, that is incorrect.

- 1:27:11Speaker 7: to Josh.

- 1:27:51Speaker 6: is important, Kyle. John would prefer that you not contact
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: him till afternoon. Not endorsed by podiatrists. Foot models are
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: the people running Kyle's foot and Instagram pages. Kyle, what
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: is the price of the Rejuvecare foot renew three and
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: one foot Massager?

- 1:29:08Speaker 6: Somebody ordered cookwear from Timu, cooked on it and then

- 1:29:13Speaker 6: some of my cash back. Perfect for newlywed life, because
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: nothing says we're building a home together like somebody else's
- 1:29:19Speaker 6: pre owned saucepan not endorsed by Chef's Wedding Registries or
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: Grandma Peyton. What is the resale price.
- 1:29:26Speaker 13: For used pans? I'm going to say twelve ninety nine.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: Twelve ninety nine. You could win this, Kim. Is she
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: priced so high or too low?
- 1:29:38Speaker 11: I think she's too.
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: Too low, too low, and you are the winner of
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: the prizes. It was priced at thirty seven dollars, so
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: you did go a little bit low there, and that means.
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: Kim's are tame and Paula the Valley Mortgage Maco.
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: This center, we're looking at the tickets congratulation this Kim.
- 1:30:05Speaker 9: Hold on, John Jay, this is kind of creepy. There
- 1:30:10Speaker 9: maybe a whole new reason to be very careful about
- 1:30:13Speaker 9: who you are talking to and your TikTok dms. I'll
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: explain after Zara.
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: Larks and let me ask you guys something before get
- 1:30:26Speaker 7: the three things. Was there a storm last night?
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, yeah, because last night.
- 1:30:31Speaker 7: I was sleeping and I heard thunder and I was like,
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: oh no, And then I got up this morning everything
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: was normal.
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: Did you get an emergency alert?
- 1:30:37Speaker 9: No, we had a huge dust storm like this morning.
- 1:30:40Speaker 9: Everyone's trash cans were knocked over, there was more trees down.
- 1:30:44Speaker 9: It was it was pretty insane.
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: You had alert yeah, about like eight thirty something like that.
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: And then as soon as I saw my kid joke
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: at home, He's like, it looks bad out there, and I'm.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: Like, don't look bad here.
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: Then all of a sudden, the wind starts howling, and
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: it was it was nasty out by me on the
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: east side.
- 1:30:59Speaker 19: I swear that these storms they're coming out of nowhere,
- 1:31:01Speaker 19: Like it's one second it's everything fine, then the next
- 1:31:04Speaker 19: it's like sixty mile per hour wins. And I swear
- 1:31:06Speaker 19: that there's someone out there in a control room messing
- 1:31:09Speaker 19: with us, turning on and off these storms.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: They're control Yeah, Oh I'm buying that. What different things
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: we need to know?
- 1:31:16Speaker 9: Kylin FuG Almost ninety thousand people have either been told
- 1:31:20Speaker 9: to leave their homes or be ready to leave because
- 1:31:22Speaker 9: of this wildfire near Reno that absolutely exploded over the weekend.
- 1:31:26Speaker 9: The hawk fire grew to more than fifteen thousand acres
- 1:31:30Speaker 9: with zero percent containment, forcing forty two thousand people to evacuate.
- 1:31:34Speaker 9: Like I said, another forty five thousand have to be
- 1:31:37Speaker 9: ready to go, and officials say it was caused by
- 1:31:39Speaker 9: a person. They still don't know exactly how though in
- 1:31:42Speaker 9: any case, the damage has already been done. Homes have
- 1:31:44Speaker 9: already been burned, six people have been hurt. And the
- 1:31:45Speaker 9: scary part is the winds are expected to get even
- 1:31:48Speaker 9: stronger through Thursday of this week, so they don't expect
- 1:31:51Speaker 9: to be half much containment of this fire. And it's
- 1:31:54Speaker 9: near so many homes in people that it's it's definitely scary.
- 1:31:58Speaker 9: TikTok maybe looking at letting you send people money right
- 1:32:03Speaker 9: through your DM, so think like basically, Venmo inside TikTok,
- 1:32:07Speaker 9: hidden code for the future was found in the app,
- 1:32:09Speaker 9: although TikTok said they're not actually testing it right now,
- 1:32:12Speaker 9: so it may never happen. The code is there for
- 1:32:15Speaker 9: if they do want it to happen. And obviously you.
- 1:32:17Speaker 7: Wanted me a hundred bucks, said to me on TikTok
- 1:32:19Speaker 7: ee Veno or Zelle exactly seems.
- 1:32:21Speaker 9: We're obviously the big concern would be scammers, right because
- 1:32:25Speaker 9: imagine getting one of those sketchy dms and now there's
- 1:32:27Speaker 9: a button right there to send them money and you
- 1:32:29Speaker 9: do and then you're out of money.
- 1:32:31Speaker 6: But we're not just linking your bank account to TikTok who.
- 1:32:34Speaker 6: I don't know if we totally trust we use it,
- 1:32:35Speaker 6: but do we trust them be dangerous?
- 1:32:38Speaker 9: Could be, But like I said, they're not even testing
- 1:32:40Speaker 9: it right now, but the code is there, so it
- 1:32:42Speaker 9: is a future possibility. You may see headlines about these
- 1:32:46Speaker 9: flock cameras, and honestly, I had no idea they were
- 1:32:50Speaker 9: even a thing, but apparently there's these cameras all over
- 1:32:52Speaker 9: the country quietly taking pictures of our license plates as
- 1:32:55Speaker 9: we drive by. They're called flock cameras, and now there's
- 1:32:59Speaker 9: more than a hundred and twenty thousand of them over
- 1:33:01Speaker 9: our fifty nine states, and police actually use them to
- 1:33:03Speaker 9: find stolen cars, missing people, and suspects. But there's a
- 1:33:06Speaker 9: lot of privacy groups that are like, wait, so you
- 1:33:09Speaker 9: can basically track where someone's car has been and then
- 1:33:13Speaker 9: does it stop at tracking license plates or what else
- 1:33:16Speaker 9: are they taking?
- 1:33:17Speaker 6: Pictures of Well you saw that the like a bunch
- 1:33:19Speaker 6: of police in Florida got arrested because a few of
- 1:33:21Speaker 6: them were stalking their ex girlfriends.
- 1:33:24Speaker 9: Well that's interesting, you say that, Richard, because now there
- 1:33:27Speaker 9: is a website called have I Been flocked dot com
- 1:33:31Speaker 9: and you can put your license plates in and see
- 1:33:33Speaker 9: if your license plates have been searched through this flock system.
- 1:33:37Speaker 9: And like I said, there's a lot of privacy groups
- 1:33:39Speaker 9: that are speaking out against this. In fact, in San
- 1:33:41Speaker 9: Diego there was I guess a a friendly patron who
- 1:33:44Speaker 9: dressed up as Darth Vader at like one of those
- 1:33:47Speaker 9: city council meetings to say how much Darth Vader loves
- 1:33:50Speaker 9: the flock system.
- 1:33:52Speaker 14: The Emperor is a fan of Flock, and we must
- 1:33:56Speaker 14: continue utilizing flock technologies so that we can fallow and
- 1:34:00Speaker 14: surveiled the rebels com because we all know that the
- 1:34:03Speaker 14: flock cameras are not only following the license plate readers,
- 1:34:07Speaker 14: they are following children. They are following children in parks
- 1:34:10Speaker 14: and gymnasiums.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: And we need this. I need this so I can
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: stuck my ex girlfriend. Okay, So he's making a point that.
- 1:34:18Speaker 9: It is bad, right, right, He's saying they probably have
- 1:34:21Speaker 9: gone too far, and there are a lot of communities
- 1:34:23Speaker 9: that are actually getting rid of the cameras because they've
- 1:34:25Speaker 9: become uncomfortable with exactly how much information and what data
- 1:34:28Speaker 9: they're actually collecting.
- 1:34:30Speaker 7: Did you plug your an address in or you're liked
- 1:34:32Speaker 7: I have not been searched.
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: You haven't been flocked.
- 1:34:34Speaker 9: I have not been flocked yet. It doesn't necessarily mean
- 1:34:37Speaker 9: can you.
- 1:34:37Speaker 7: Flock somebody or is it just the cameras? Like can
- 1:34:39Speaker 7: you plug it? Heyy, can you flock this address?
- 1:34:43Speaker 9: But yeah, I'm sure.
- 1:34:44Speaker 7: Did you say there's fifty nine states forty nine?
- 1:34:47Speaker 9: Did I say?
- 1:34:47Speaker 7: I might say fifty nine. I was like, I know,
- 1:34:49Speaker 7: I've been out of it for a while. They have
- 1:34:51Speaker 7: been mine editor for you this week?
- 1:34:53Speaker 9: You know, well, there are there's always room for improvement,
- 1:34:55Speaker 9: right walk. That's three things you need to know.
