- 0:26Have you ever had those mornings where anxiety wakes you up before you do,
- 0:30where your mind starts racing before you even got out of bed.
- 0:34I've been there. The sweaty palms, the heavy chest, the voice in your head that
- 0:40whispers, you're not enough, you're going to fail, you're never going to get it right.
- 0:47Oh yeah. Have faith, let it begin. When anxiety speaks louder than hope. Starts right now.
- 0:562000 came and the spark was lit A testimony raw, it wouldn't cool.
- 1:01Music.
- 1:29Faith Let It Begin is on the air, and as we stated in the very intro, I've been there.
- 1:35I've had the mindset where I felt like everything was racing before you even
- 1:40got out of bed, and the sweaty palms, and the heavy chest.
- 1:43Of course, the whispers in my head saying, you're not enough,
- 1:46you're going to fail, you're never going to get it right.
- 1:48I remember a season in my life when I was overwhelmed with deadlines,
- 1:52bills, and family responsibilities.
- 1:55I'd sit in my car before work, ripping into the steering wheel, feeling paralyzed.
- 2:00I'd look around and wonder how everyone else seems so calm on the inside.
- 2:06My word and my world felt like it was spinning out of control.
- 2:11Anxiety spoke louder than my hope. But then I found myself in Scripture.
- 2:17Psalms 46, verse 10. Be still and know that I am God.
- 2:24At first, I'll be honest, those words didn't quiet the storm right away. No, it did not.
- 2:31But the more I leaned into them, the more I realized God was reminding me that
- 2:38my racing thoughts didn't have the final say.
- 2:42Anxiety may be loud, but his voice is steady.
- 2:46Anxiety may feel endless, but his peace is eternal. Now, when anxiety tells
- 2:52us you can't, God says, I already have.
- 2:56When anxiety says, you'll never make it, God says, I am with you always.
- 3:03When anxiety says, you're alone.
- 3:06God says, I will never leave you or forsake you.
- 3:11Anxiety is real. It's not weakness. and it doesn't make you less of a Christian,
- 3:17a Catholic, or any type of religion.
- 3:21It's a part of the human condition.
- 3:24But here's the truth. I want you to hold on today. Hold on to today.
- 3:30Because anxiety doesn't define you. God does.
- 3:35Let's pray. Heavenly Father, for every listener who is weighed down by anxiety
- 3:40today, I ask you to bring them peace.
- 3:44Quiet the racing thoughts. Still the restless hearts. And remind them that they
- 3:50are safe in your presence.
- 3:53Teach us to lean into your word, to breathe deeply of your promises,
- 3:57and to trust that you are in control, even when our minds are not.
- 4:05We pray this unto you in Jesus' name.
- 4:08And finally, my friends, let me close out by saying this. If anxiety has been
- 4:12speaking louder than hope in your life, I want you to know you're not alone.
- 4:17God hears you. God sees you.
- 4:22And God is with you, even in the silence of your struggle.
- 4:27So remember, God loves you. God believes in you. God trusts you.
- 4:32And God is never going to leave your side.
- 4:35Remember that. As you drive safe, get to your location safe, be safe.
- 4:42Remember that you matter. And never forget, have faith.
